- 0:39Speaker 4: Back to it.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, uh yeah, exactly. Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And you know, I guess I was reading this article
- 0:46Speaker 2: about the two hundred and fiftieth Birthday celebration. More US
- 0:49Speaker 2: shoppers are buying more American made things, and they think
- 0:53Speaker 2: it's because they're thinking about America to fifty coming up
- 0:57Speaker 2: on July fourth.
- 0:58Speaker 1: It is a very fun holiday.
- 1:01Speaker 2: It's all about food, it's all about family, it's all
- 1:04Speaker 2: about friends. Some about the smell of the barbecue, all
- 1:08Speaker 2: of that good stuff. It's good times. I mean, jelly four,
- 1:10Speaker 2: it's good times. Summer's gonna go fast, so enjoy it.
- 1:15Speaker 4: It's basically Christmas. I mean, let's get to the fourth.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, let let's get to let me, let me get
- 1:21Speaker 2: to the fourth. Okay, World Cup. This morning England is playing.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I'm playing in Atlanta versus Dr Congo. One o'clock Belgium
- 1:31Speaker 2: versus Senegal in Seattle, and five o'clock this evening USA
- 1:36Speaker 2: versus Bosnia and Herzegovina in Santa Clara. We're talking about
- 1:39Speaker 2: you know how just it's fun, like just being in
- 1:42Speaker 2: La and seeing all the bars, people cheering when there's
- 1:45Speaker 2: a goal, and people coming together and say we're it's
- 1:48Speaker 2: such a good it's a good feeling right now that
- 1:50Speaker 2: we don't want it to be over. Like Tanya just said,
- 1:53Speaker 2: summer's just about the Christmas. The day that the World
- 1:56Speaker 2: Cup ends, it'll be like December twenty sixth.
- 1:58Speaker 1: That feeling. Oh no, it's all where did it go?
- 2:00Speaker 5: Like?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Taking the decorations have to go down. How'd you sleep,
- 2:04Speaker 2: Cysany and Tanya?
- 2:06Speaker 6: I slept okay, but I felt like my alarm clock
- 2:09Speaker 6: went off before I it needed.
- 2:11Speaker 1: To do you mean you needed to sleep longer. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: probably could have slept a little bit longer. It felt
- 2:17Speaker 1: like I just fallen asleep and I'm like, oh, here
- 2:19Speaker 1: we go, it's time to go.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that was crazy. You guys were all in my
- 2:23Speaker 4: dream last night.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Wow, give detail.
- 2:26Speaker 3: So you all got flown out to London for the
- 2:30Speaker 3: Harry Styles show.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Even Mark, okay, even Mark got flown.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Everybody got flown, but they didn't choose me Andy.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I don't know. I couldn't. It was it was there
- 2:40Speaker 4: was like a day and then like it was the
- 2:43Speaker 4: weirdest thing.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I was asking you guys. I was like, did I
- 2:44Speaker 3: say anything mean about Harry Styles? Like I was like
- 2:47Speaker 3: trying to like get the deets, and nobody could figure
- 2:49Speaker 3: it out.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So you were left behind and we all get to
- 2:52Speaker 1: go see Harry Styles.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Yes, what a night man. I drove there with Excel,
- 2:55Speaker 4: which is weird because it was.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Drove to yeah, across the Atlanta Yeah special call. Yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 2: amazing sense if you could, if you could create that,
- 3:04Speaker 2: you'd really be successful.
- 3:06Speaker 6: It was weird.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It was weird.
- 3:07Speaker 4: I'm trying to make sense of it.
- 3:09Speaker 2: No I could make total sense of it. Remember, Harry
- 3:12Speaker 2: Styles flirted with you. Harry Styles wanted you to do
- 3:15Speaker 2: some stuff for iHeart just you. You have Harry Styles
- 3:18Speaker 2: on your pillow case. Harry Styles had enough of you,
- 3:21Speaker 2: he needed us. Yeah, I mean you got enough time
- 3:24Speaker 2: with him.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I think I'm feeling left out from you guys, so
- 3:27Speaker 3: maybe we should Oh.
- 3:28Speaker 2: My gosh, how can you possibly feel left out from us?
- 3:31Speaker 2: You spend more time with us than anybody on the
- 3:32Speaker 2: planet anybody.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You cannot feel left out from us.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I think we need something in the books.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Oh sure, can we just get to seven.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Coming back in a minute with some Gracie Abram tickets
- 3:47Speaker 2: Sunny later eyes in the mid seventies and eighties Inland,
- 3:50Speaker 2: if you got to get ready and get out soon.
- 3:52Speaker 2: That's the vibes' kiss. It's kiss f New California laws
- 3:55Speaker 2: in effect today July first.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Let's take a look at these here.
- 4:00Speaker 2: So yeah, when laws get passed her voted in, they
- 4:03Speaker 2: start on January first or July first, and a lot
- 4:07Speaker 2: of new ones that maybe you know about, maybe you
- 4:09Speaker 2: forgot about. But let's minimum wage. Let's start with that one.
- 4:12Speaker 2: LA County minimum wage goes up to eighteen dollars and
- 4:14Speaker 2: forty seven cents an hour, and hotel and hospitality workers
- 4:18Speaker 2: go up to twenty five dollars an hour. In LA,
- 4:21Speaker 2: healthcare workers go up to twenty two to twenty five
- 4:24Speaker 2: dollars per hour, depending on how big the facility is.
- 4:28Speaker 2: So that starts today our food. This is interesting. So
- 4:32Speaker 2: you know this sell by, best buy expiration, all that
- 4:35Speaker 2: use buy us by. Like I grew up with my mom,
- 4:39Speaker 2: it would say sell buy and she would say, oh no,
- 4:42Speaker 2: it's got two more.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Weeks for sure.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I'm same with my parents.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But I was like, no, if it's a sell by,
- 4:47Speaker 2: I feel like it's done. Like they don't want responsibility,
- 4:50Speaker 2: they don't want that cheese Anymoreah, sell buy but they
- 4:53Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's in theory does have more time.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But now they're making it less confusing. The new law,
- 5:00Speaker 2: no more confusion. Best buy used by, cell by, expires by.
- 5:04Speaker 2: All those labels go away. They're just gonna say on
- 5:08Speaker 2: the labels use by or use or freeze by. So
- 5:15Speaker 2: if you don't use it by, then throw it in
- 5:17Speaker 2: the freezer. Right, that's it. That's good. I mean, I
- 5:21Speaker 2: told you we still have spices at my home in
- 5:23Speaker 2: Atlanta where I grew up. Spices from the eighties, mccormax
- 5:27Speaker 2: or whatever they are. My mom's got little pieces of
- 5:29Speaker 2: deal that are brown in a cano jar and now
- 5:32Speaker 2: and then you still need them. Don't get near that Cuman.
- 5:36Speaker 2: That was nineteen eighty two when we got that new
- 5:39Speaker 2: laws chain restaurants, so they have to disclose allergens on
- 5:45Speaker 2: the menu. You're gonna have to see the menu with
- 5:47Speaker 2: all those things on their schools. Every school in California
- 5:50Speaker 2: must now have a policy to limit or band cell
- 5:52Speaker 2: phone use on campus, and all schools must now have
- 5:55Speaker 2: at least one gender neutral bathroom with clear signage.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Wow.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Laws For tech streaming platforms, they're gonna have to regulate
- 6:03Speaker 2: the volume of commercials, like the actual sound of commercials
- 6:07Speaker 2: so they're not louder than the show.
- 6:08Speaker 1: That is great, that's a flea update.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Scares me to death when the commercial comes on sometime
- 6:15Speaker 2: that I don't I don't know, because they want the
- 6:18Speaker 2: ad to pop, probably right, but they should have the
- 6:21Speaker 2: tech to match the volume.
- 6:23Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 6:23Speaker 6: I know, And if you're watching like a dramatic show
- 6:25Speaker 6: where like y'all speak very softly and then all of
- 6:27Speaker 6: a sudden the commercial would come on.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, then the Enterprise rental commercial pops in.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I'm like, what scares me? Serial ad new laws today?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Going to a fact one more here, I'm looking at
- 6:39Speaker 2: driverless cars can now be given a ticket by the police.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Who gets the ticket? The cars a ticket? I don't know.
- 6:48Speaker 1: We'll clip it to the dashboard.
- 6:49Speaker 4: The car owner. Someone has to own the car, well.
- 6:52Speaker 1: The car company.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but how funny is that that the couples over
- 6:55Speaker 2: the car and there's nobody there that's hysterical, So you
- 6:59Speaker 2: don't get to say, did you know you were going
- 7:01Speaker 2: five miles over the speed limit?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Where you're not hurt, not just gonna get a ticket.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I've still not been in a driverless car me.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Either, saying should we try one? Is that your hair
- 7:11Speaker 4: outing that you want Donya.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Tell you want to go together somewhere without a driver?
- 7:17Speaker 2: It's team Bonding's team bonding. I am not against it,
- 7:23Speaker 2: but I'm just not enthusiastic about it. I don't feel
- 7:27Speaker 2: like I've got to go try that. I almost have
- 7:29Speaker 2: a wreck every time I see one. Looking at them, though,
- 7:31Speaker 2: I will tell you that because they catch my eye
- 7:33Speaker 2: and I want to see if the person sitting in
- 7:36Speaker 2: the driver's seat or in the back or where they're sitting,
- 7:38Speaker 2: and then then you're not looking at your road, and
- 7:40Speaker 2: so the driver list cars are only dangerous for those
- 7:42Speaker 2: of us that are gulking at them.
- 7:44Speaker 1: True new laws. There you go, July first, I can lose.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Still First, what are we going to do with ourselves?
- 7:50Speaker 7: Ms?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Risk it all?
- 7:51Speaker 2: It is kiss FM. Do you eat your meals at
- 7:55Speaker 2: the same time every day? They say that it's good
- 7:58Speaker 2: for mental health to try try and eat at the
- 8:01Speaker 2: same time. It actually can promote good mood by sticking
- 8:06Speaker 2: to your regular meal times.
- 8:08Speaker 1: My meal time varies based on me too. Where when now?
- 8:14Speaker 2: Also, I tell you what the average healthy amount of
- 8:17Speaker 2: time it is to eat. I can Also, I don't
- 8:18Speaker 2: know so bad that I eat so fast sometimes standing
- 8:22Speaker 2: up at my kitchen counter out of a container when
- 8:24Speaker 2: I get home from work.
- 8:25Speaker 8: I don't.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I don't even walk to sit down two feet I
- 8:28Speaker 2: stand there and eat. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever
- 8:33Speaker 2: at all. And Tanya, I find cooking therapeutic.
- 8:40Speaker 4: So I haven't cooked a meal in about two months.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But your husband cooks right.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yes, and he I have like my own personal Nara Smith.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Do you guys know who I'm talking about? The girl says, like, my.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Husband was craving cookies and cream ice cream, so I
- 8:54Speaker 4: made it from scratch.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I don't know.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I know what you're talking about. Okay, so I basically
- 8:58Speaker 4: have that at home.
- 8:59Speaker 3: My husban bin is now cooking super nutritious meals for
- 9:02Speaker 3: me in my fertility journ.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Does he wear an apron?
- 9:05Speaker 3: He wears an apron, yes, and he does everything from
- 9:07Speaker 3: scratch and it's amazing. It's like, I'm so so so grateful.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Here's the butt.
- 9:13Speaker 4: We have this like deal. He does the cooking and
- 9:16Speaker 4: I'll do all the cleaning. Okay.
- 9:18Speaker 3: He puts every single item onto its own separate dish.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Michael does this if he's making that's organization.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Even if he's making hamburgers, Okay, he'll like put the
- 9:28Speaker 3: hamburgers like three patties on a plate. Then he'll put
- 9:30Speaker 3: three more patties on another plate, all different, Like why
- 9:33Speaker 3: can't you just.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Use because he knows you're doing the dishes, so he
- 9:36Speaker 2: doesn't care everything.
- 9:38Speaker 3: If we're having tacos, chips and salsa don't go in
- 9:40Speaker 3: there like tubs that you buy them in, they go
- 9:42Speaker 3: into their own separate that's nice.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I do that.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Oh you don't want to eat out of the container.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It's so many and I do pretty fast. Yes, I know,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I know. It's what It's easier for me to eat
- 9:57Speaker 2: out of the packaging.
- 9:58Speaker 6: But Michael will do the little saucer with like this
- 10:00Speaker 6: one's salt, that, this one's paprika, this one's garlic.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yes, yes, it's because he's watching a bunch of food shows.
- 10:06Speaker 4: I'm doing so many dishes. But I feel like I
- 10:08Speaker 4: can't say anything because you can't. I can't, right, you.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Guys making stuff? Yeah, well he's not listening right now.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You guys making stuff homemade, and he's doing it in
- 10:18Speaker 2: an organized fashion, and it was your.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Part of the deal.
- 10:23Speaker 2: First of all, let's just not make deals like that.
- 10:25Speaker 2: That deal is too Yeah, you don't even make deals
- 10:28Speaker 2: every time. You're the one that dos it. I think
- 10:31Speaker 2: if I were to be in that situation, it'd be
- 10:32Speaker 2: a rotator. My week, your week, my week, your week,
- 10:35Speaker 2: unless you're not good at cooking, are you not?
- 10:37Speaker 4: No?
- 10:38Speaker 3: Okay, So compared to him, now, like I might have
- 10:41Speaker 3: my own Gordon Ramsay at.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Home, Yeah, well, the relationship is gonna be just fine.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And I appreciate you, Robbie making a cooking show while
- 10:50Speaker 2: you're cooking, because it just feels good to be organized
- 10:52Speaker 2: like that. All right, Coming up next, Olivia Dean here,
- 10:57Speaker 2: and I will tell you we have a great quote
- 10:59Speaker 2: of the day. How fast do you eat?
- 11:02Speaker 1: When you eat?
- 11:03Speaker 2: It's amazing how long it takes to cook something and
- 11:05Speaker 2: how fast it just goes away. They did a little
- 11:09Speaker 2: research on this, and they say that it should take
- 11:13Speaker 2: you thirty two minutes to eat what thirty two minutes?
- 11:20Speaker 2: If you eat faster, it could cause more health problems.
- 11:24Speaker 2: So thirty two minutes is the time. The average time
- 11:28Speaker 2: they found that people take a meal in or eat
- 11:31Speaker 2: a meal in is twenty two minutes, which is to me,
- 11:35Speaker 2: that's long I can power through a plate in like ten.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Ten, same right in twenty.
- 11:41Speaker 6: I like to take small bites and slowly.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I don't.
- 11:46Speaker 4: I don't either.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I put it all, mix it all up, get a
- 11:49Speaker 2: bigger spoon and scoop it all out as much as
- 11:52Speaker 2: second and then I walk around, you know, I pace. Yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 2: thirty two minutes. Think about that to have less health problems.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Today's quote every day we got one to be early
- 12:03Speaker 2: is to be on time.
- 12:05Speaker 1: To be on time is to be late. To be
- 12:08Speaker 1: late is to be forgotten.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Wow, the long one.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Just be early, Yeah, just skip them for everybody else.
- 12:19Speaker 2: So few people do that. Everyone I know runs late.
- 12:24Speaker 3: No, no, no, they say the early bird gets the worm.
- 12:27Speaker 4: But which mouse gets the cheese?
- 12:29Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Why is there a mouse and cheese?
- 12:31Speaker 3: The second mouse because the first one gets clamped in
- 12:33Speaker 3: the trap.
- 12:36Speaker 1: This FM headlines, but siciny well.
- 12:39Speaker 6: The Supreme Court ruled that babies born in the US
- 12:42Speaker 6: have a constitutional right to citizenship, rejecting the president's effort
- 12:46Speaker 6: to end the policy. Mexico defeated Ecuador to nothing, their
- 12:51Speaker 6: first win in a knockout round in forty years. Their
- 12:55Speaker 6: next game is Sunday at five in Mexico City. California's
- 12:59Speaker 6: gas tax will rise by two point two cents today
- 13:04Speaker 6: to sixty three point four cents per gallon, the highest
- 13:07Speaker 6: gas tacks in the country, and Disneyland will offer fifty
- 13:11Speaker 6: nine dollars tickets for evening in admission, allowing guests to
- 13:15Speaker 6: go to Disney California Adventure after five pm or Disneyland
- 13:19Speaker 6: after seven pm.
- 13:20Speaker 2: What at two point seven it is kiss FM Ryan

- 16:34Speaker 2: two point seven. That's Kiss FM. All right, Chelsea's on
- 16:37Speaker 2: the line here in Downey, Chelsea.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Good morning, it is Ryan. See Chris Disney tiny in
- 16:41Speaker 1: the back room. How you doing?
- 16:43Speaker 8: Good morning?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Did it?
- 16:44Speaker 1: How are you great?
- 16:46Speaker 2: So you're calling about this guy even seeing for a
- 16:48Speaker 2: few months.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 16:50Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 16:51Speaker 8: That's right about three?
- 16:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and you're asking how soon is too soon to
- 16:55Speaker 2: take him to a wedding as your guest.
- 16:57Speaker 1: And you've got three weddings to go to.
- 16:58Speaker 8: This summer, three and I need a date to all
- 17:02Speaker 8: of them.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Well it's a lot to ask anyone. Three three days
- 17:08Speaker 2: of weddings, that's a lot of weddings.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Yeah, why weddings are so fun. When you're newly dating someone,
- 17:18Speaker 3: it's all about love and you envision, like are we
- 17:20Speaker 3: going to get married?
- 17:21Speaker 2: But yeah, maybe that's what she's saying. That might make
- 17:23Speaker 2: an uncomfortable conversation, right, Like, what's your concern here about
- 17:27Speaker 2: taking this guy too soon to a wedding as your date?
- 17:32Speaker 8: Yeah, it feels like just in major set, like he's
- 17:35Speaker 8: meeting my friends.
- 17:36Speaker 9: All of a sudden, he's meeting my family, like we're
- 17:39Speaker 9: in photos.
- 17:40Speaker 8: People might ask us when we're getting married. It's just
- 17:43Speaker 8: it's a lot I want him there.
- 17:45Speaker 2: But yes, I look, I mean, is there anybody else
- 17:51Speaker 2: you could take? Or is that not within the rules
- 17:54Speaker 2: of this relationship right now?
- 17:56Speaker 9: I mean maybe, but I do want him to be
- 17:59Speaker 9: my day.
- 18:00Speaker 8: I just don't when I'm thinking I'm trying to plan
- 18:02Speaker 8: our future at the stream.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Mark, I think you can say I I've not been
- 18:09Speaker 2: to many weddings. I hosted Tanya's wedding appreciated, but I
- 18:15Speaker 2: came solo.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You know what's that?
- 18:17Speaker 4: Yeah, but I gave you the option to have a
- 18:19Speaker 4: plus one.
- 18:20Speaker 2: She says she did, Chelsea, but I don't remember her
- 18:22Speaker 2: saying though, But I think you can go into it saying, hey, look,
- 18:26Speaker 2: so and so is having a wedding, friends, family, whatever
- 18:28Speaker 2: it is. Let's go and have some fun. Let's just
- 18:30Speaker 2: go make it fun, be fun, right cocktails start with
- 18:34Speaker 2: you don't have to invite them to all three? Yeah, yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 2: one goes. But I think you open it up with
- 18:38Speaker 2: like a diffusing like it's kind of good. It just
- 18:41Speaker 2: it's gonna be fun, not pressure and not that you're
- 18:45Speaker 2: gonna get married and think about that, but just make
- 18:48Speaker 2: it fun. I would take yeah, I would take those advice,
- 18:50Speaker 2: take them to one. See it goes. And I didn't
- 18:52Speaker 2: think you need to go to all three. To be
- 18:54Speaker 2: honest with you, I think you could bail on this
- 18:57Speaker 2: middle one. There are different people well unlucky.
- 19:02Speaker 1: That they already married at the same time to the second.
- 19:04Speaker 2: One bailing the least fun person's one. Good luck on this,
- 19:07Speaker 2: all right, don't overthink it?
- 19:09Speaker 1: All right? He looks a lot's ask why don't you
- 19:18Speaker 1: point seven?
- 19:18Speaker 2: It's kiss FM just run. I meant to tell you
- 19:22Speaker 2: guys today I din't get a chance because this would
- 19:24Speaker 2: never happen to you.
- 19:25Speaker 1: But I was, you know, I'd go to that.
- 19:26Speaker 2: iHeart music Radio Festival sales convention. Yeah last week, big
- 19:32Speaker 2: deal a right, like every advertise called a can Lion event.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Every advertiser in the world is there, and iHeart is there,
- 19:38Speaker 2: and so I had to go on the iHeart path
- 19:39Speaker 2: and talk about iHeart and all that stuff. So anyway,
- 19:42Speaker 2: stay at the hotel and I'm in the bathroom after
- 19:47Speaker 2: the long day, I'm using standing up using the bathroom
- 19:50Speaker 2: and guy stands next to me. And often when a
- 19:53Speaker 2: guy comes up next to you'll know this, but when
- 19:55Speaker 2: he comes up next to you, they'll say, Hi, how
- 19:57Speaker 2: are you doing? Something like that. I just like, hell, Hi,
- 20:00Speaker 2: sir or high whatever. Guy says hi to me Southern accent.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I hear the Southern accent. So I go, oh, while
- 20:06Speaker 2: we're doing their thing in southern Yeah, we're from Alabama.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I got real time. He goes yeah. I go, no dogs, Georgia.
- 20:14Speaker 2: So then I finished. First, go to the sink, wash
- 20:17Speaker 2: my hands, say very nice to meet you. Then he
- 20:21Speaker 2: invites me to his hotel room terrace for a drink.
- 20:27Speaker 1: No, they know, I didn't know.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I didn't know, like maybe maybe being friendly because we're
- 20:37Speaker 2: both Southern and we have rival teams.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I know.
- 20:42Speaker 2: He said you, he said, do you want to come
- 20:44Speaker 2: have a drink on my terrace.
- 20:46Speaker 1: No, thank you, I didn't go.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't think you would.
- 20:54Speaker 1: But I wasn't sure. How'd you get out of it?
- 20:56Speaker 1: What'd you say? I have jet lag?
- 21:00Speaker 4: Smart's?
- 21:00Speaker 1: I said, jet like? I'm so tired of jet like?
- 21:03Speaker 4: But I was it.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Wait a minute, how do you know if the guy's
- 21:07Speaker 2: just being a nice, friendly guy or if he's.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Hitting on me? I don't know.
- 21:11Speaker 4: That's a hit on.
- 21:12Speaker 2: And I think that conversation came out of standing next
- 21:14Speaker 2: to each other while we're going in the bathroom.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Now we're going to drink.
- 21:16Speaker 4: I never understood why guys journals don't have little like.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We have dividers in some but not all, but.
- 21:22Speaker 4: They should all happen like a lengthy divider.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Lengthy' No, I mean they have like height ones so
- 21:30Speaker 2: you can look at their face and that's about it.
- 21:32Speaker 6: Still weird, Yeah, it's weird that you guys just all
- 21:34Speaker 6: out in the open.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so weird.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Not as weird as the moment I was wondering, what's
- 21:39Speaker 2: this guy asking me to do?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Yeah, just to see?
- 21:44Speaker 2: I went, what if he wouldn't be here today to
- 21:46Speaker 2: tell the story.
- 21:48Speaker 1: No, I wasn't gonna get killed.
- 21:49Speaker 6: I don't.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I just you don't know why.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I didn't think the guy was going to murder me
- 21:53Speaker 2: at the convention. I just didn't know if he was
- 21:55Speaker 2: like being nice, because.
- 21:56Speaker 6: So, did you see him again? Or was he just
- 21:58Speaker 6: like a guy in the hotel? Oh, I made sure
- 22:01Speaker 6: I didn't see it again. Yeah I didn't, that was it.
- 22:06Speaker 6: But sometimes it's just hard to tell.
- 22:08Speaker 1: So no, I was. I was definitely jetlight.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I was not going to anybody's hotel room and they're
- 22:12Speaker 2: terrorists to have a drink from the mini bar that
- 22:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That's you're right, I'm lucky. I'm alive.
- 22:18Speaker 10: Yeah, it's on air with Ryan Seacrest only.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Two point seven Kiss FM.
- 22:26Speaker 2: You know what makes a great relationship a partner that
- 22:30Speaker 2: just says, I got it, I'll solve the problem.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Let me handle it, right, Like don't you.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Isn't it great when you work with somebody or you
- 22:39Speaker 2: live with somebody and they go, I'll handle it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I got it.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I know the solution, problem solved. That it's just a
- 22:43Speaker 2: great feeling. We want to be that. That's what Kiss
- 22:45Speaker 2: wants to be. We want to be the problem solver,
- 22:47Speaker 2: like gas prices problem. Let's solve that. I love that, right,
- 22:51Speaker 2: I mean seriously, you can't get to your Disneyland tickets
- 22:55Speaker 2: because gas prices are so expensive, so you can't buy them.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Let's get in to you.
- 22:59Speaker 2: That's kind of the role we play, and we like
- 23:03Speaker 2: it so Chew and Martinez is outsolving that problem this
- 23:05Speaker 2: morning with free gas in Korea Town. Good morning, mister Martinez.
- 23:10Speaker 2: How are you feeling.
- 23:12Speaker 7: I'm feeling good. Ryan. How are you doing?
- 23:14Speaker 8: Man?
- 23:14Speaker 1: I am good.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I love that you're taking care of this problem because
- 23:17Speaker 2: geography is obviously an issue here in southern California and LA.
- 23:21Speaker 2: People have to go thirty sixty plus minutes to get
- 23:25Speaker 2: to work and then back home, which eats up a
- 23:28Speaker 2: lot of gas. So we're trying to solve that issue.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Who'd you find to take care of?
- 23:32Speaker 7: Yo? Man? I found my man Jimmy over here, who
- 23:35Speaker 7: is actually a sound engineer and on his way to work,
- 23:38Speaker 7: and I hooked him up with some gas and he's
- 23:40Speaker 7: very very happy to talk to you. Brother.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Here he goes, Ryan, Jimmy, how do we sound?
- 23:47Speaker 9: Oh my god, what a blessing. Seriously, I can't thank
- 23:50Speaker 9: you enough.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Well, listen, brother, tell me your story. So you're rolling
- 23:54Speaker 2: into work. What do you do exactly with sound engineering?
- 23:58Speaker 9: I work for a producer out here. I don't think
- 24:00Speaker 9: you want me to say his name, but yeah, I
- 24:04Speaker 9: moved out here two years ago. I'm from Illinois, and
- 24:08Speaker 9: you know, chasing the La Dream?
- 24:10Speaker 2: Got it? And is it going well? It sounds like
- 24:12Speaker 2: it's working out for you, bro.
- 24:14Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm having a good time and that's all that matters.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So right on, will you tell Ryan Tedor we said, Hi.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I love thank you?
- 24:24Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, and thank you so much.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You're welcome. What are you driving?
- 24:29Speaker 9: I have a twenty twenty four to at a Highlander.
- 24:32Speaker 1: We're gonna fill it up.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Take good care, drive safely and yeah, yeah, produce some
- 24:37Speaker 2: hits for us to play.
- 24:37Speaker 9: Man, Yes, sir, Thank you Ryan, Thank you? Kiss?
- 24:41Speaker 7: All right?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Didny? Take care? Clear?
- 24:45Speaker 2: Like talking that's like talking to me back in the day,
- 24:47Speaker 2: like moving to La for the dream.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Coming out from Atlanta trying
- 24:51Speaker 1: to make.
- 24:51Speaker 2: It happen and you get free gas, that was like wow,
- 24:54Speaker 2: I mean that would be huge.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I didn't win free gas, but that would have been big.
- 24:57Speaker 2: All right, are you going to do this some more later?
- 25:00Speaker 7: I'm gonna be here in Ktown, brother Rome in the
- 25:03Speaker 7: city and looking people up with some free gas.
- 25:05Speaker 2: So yes, okay, Chewett Martinez in Korea Town. Don't be
- 25:09Speaker 2: surprised if he walks up to your vehicle and wants
- 25:11Speaker 2: to buy your gas. Pandominic Fight is on one of
- 25:16Speaker 2: two point seven Kiss FM. We don't need more scams
- 25:21Speaker 2: to know about more tech, more scams, more tech, more scams.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Now, dating is hard enough.
- 25:28Speaker 2: When you walk out of a store and let's say
- 25:31Speaker 2: a guy is lurking around and asks for your number.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I generally don't think people would give out their number
- 25:38Speaker 2: two a strangers just standing around at the door when
- 25:40Speaker 2: you're leaving a store.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Right, you know what I mean?
- 25:43Speaker 6: It was to the point where, like you start chatting
- 25:46Speaker 6: and he's hitting on you, and you're thinking, maybe we could.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Go out on a date.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Okay, So here's what you should. I mean to say,
- 25:52Speaker 2: you got some details on this. It's happening outside of
- 25:54Speaker 2: certain stores. I think there is a four stores that
- 25:56Speaker 2: what's happening, Yeah, stores. So here's the thing you gotta
- 26:00Speaker 2: you really do have to protect your phone number because
- 26:01Speaker 2: as tech evolves, people can really start to steal things
- 26:06Speaker 2: from you. If they have your cell phone number. In
- 26:10Speaker 2: this case, they're stealing rewards points Systney, where are they details?
- 26:14Speaker 1: So basically just that.
- 26:15Speaker 6: So do you start chatting with somebody you feel a connection.
- 26:19Speaker 1: They ask for not store, right, Okay, it could be
- 26:22Speaker 1: anywhere too.
- 26:23Speaker 4: I mean, you don't have to be just outside of
- 26:24Speaker 4: these stores.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Like they could take your number at a bar and
- 26:27Speaker 6: then go use it at whatever stores they want. It
- 26:29Speaker 6: could be CBS, Walgreens, Coals. I mean, but the story
- 26:33Speaker 6: that I saw was specifically about Sophora. And then they'll
- 26:36Speaker 6: go in and they'll use your number to steal all
- 26:39Speaker 6: your rewards points and get free stuff.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a lot of stuff, it is.
- 26:43Speaker 1: So do you check your rewards points?
- 26:45Speaker 2: I think you should check your balance every once in
- 26:47Speaker 2: a while to make sure that you know nothing is this.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Definitely, do not check my rewards points. I don't don't
- 26:53Speaker 1: get your phone numbers.
- 26:54Speaker 4: You can't tell you the last time I checked any
- 26:56Speaker 4: of those. And I like to save mine up, Like
- 26:57Speaker 4: I'm like, no, no, I don't want to use them today.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I like to save them up.
- 27:00Speaker 1: It's so funny. I do that with snacks and treats
- 27:03Speaker 1: and sweets.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I will save things up and realize that I never
- 27:07Speaker 2: have them because I'm always waiting for the right occasion
- 27:09Speaker 2: to have them right right, you know. So I think
- 27:12Speaker 2: they're training employees to look out for this and to
- 27:15Speaker 2: check identity and check to make sure it's the right
- 27:17Speaker 2: person using the front of her. But check your bounce
- 27:19Speaker 2: points every once in a while, because you do want
- 27:20Speaker 2: to use those.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Yes, what's my name?
- 27:23Speaker 2: On one of two point seven Kiss FM, Chewy Martinez
- 27:26Speaker 2: out with free gas. He's in Korea Town, So next
- 27:30Speaker 2: hour we'll check in with him live at a gas station,
- 27:32Speaker 2: filling up the tanks with the free gas for your commute. First,
- 27:37Speaker 2: let's gather with Mandy in North Hollywood. She's calling about
- 27:43Speaker 2: a question. The question, Mandy is how do you bring
- 27:46Speaker 2: up moving in together with somebody you're seeing.
- 27:49Speaker 8: Yeah, so my boyfriend and I've been dating for a
- 27:53Speaker 8: year and my lease is about to be up in
- 27:56Speaker 8: a couple months, and so I've been dropping hints about
- 28:00Speaker 8: living together like wow, like apartment hunting is really expensive,
- 28:08Speaker 8: or be really nice to split with, you know, rent
- 28:11Speaker 8: with someone.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Good good.
- 28:15Speaker 8: You know. And then also it would be like what
- 28:18Speaker 8: places would be perfect for the balls of us, But nothing.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Like he's not picking up on the last hint what
- 28:26Speaker 2: place would be right for the both of us?
- 28:27Speaker 1: He's not picking up on that.
- 28:30Speaker 8: No, it doesn't seem like it. And like he never
- 28:35Speaker 8: once said like maybe we should get a place together.
- 28:38Speaker 2: You stay with him, Like is it a frequent thing
- 28:40Speaker 2: where you stay with him for periods of time?
- 28:44Speaker 8: Yeah, like we'll like spend a night at each other's houses,
- 28:47Speaker 8: you know, places and everything, and.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Here, okay, look, here's the way it goes sometimes for me,
- 28:57Speaker 2: uh geworer space closet space almost ours to happen, and
- 29:01Speaker 2: then it's just like the conversation is right there in
- 29:04Speaker 2: front of you. It sounds to me like you need
- 29:05Speaker 2: to address with your boyfriend what he's not seeing clearly
- 29:09Speaker 2: when you say, what do you think about a place
- 29:11Speaker 2: for the both of us? Is he not enthusiastic? Is
- 29:14Speaker 2: he not optimistic? Because it sounds like he's intentionally I
- 29:17Speaker 2: don't want to say it, but intentionally ignoring that and
- 29:21Speaker 2: that could be a bigger problem at the root of it.
- 29:24Speaker 2: So I would pinpoint that statement and ask him why
- 29:26Speaker 2: he's not responding to it.
- 29:28Speaker 1: And I wish you good luck, Mandy, thank you.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, she's like I don't want.
- 29:35Speaker 7: To hear that.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Well, I know, all right, Well, good luck and thank
- 29:39Speaker 2: you very much for listen. Hope it works out, okay.
- 29:42Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Can you be that oblivious?
- 29:45Speaker 2: I mean, if you are into somebody and you want
- 29:48Speaker 2: something to happen, then you go that sounds great.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I agree. I've been thinking the same thing. Those are
- 29:52Speaker 1: the things that happen. I like you. I didn't want
- 29:55Speaker 1: to like you, and I like you. I mean, that's
- 29:56Speaker 1: a beautiful conversation. He doesn't, he's not into it, he's
- 30:00Speaker 1: not what's the Why are you squinting at me, Tanya?
- 30:03Speaker 3: Because there's there's a theme, a common theme. I've been
- 30:06Speaker 3: noticing that I didn't want to like you, but I
- 30:08Speaker 3: like you. I feel like something's going on with you
- 30:09Speaker 3: right now.
- 30:10Speaker 4: There's something.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Yes, they're smiling.
- 30:12Speaker 4: There's something going on with you right now.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Because I didn't want to like you, because.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I didn't I don't want to like you, and then
- 30:18Speaker 3: I liked you.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I think a lot of people feel that way.
- 30:21Speaker 2: That's why I didn't want to get a dog, because
- 30:22Speaker 2: I didn't want to fall in love with the dog
- 30:24Speaker 2: and have it break my heart.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Because of the life I I'm just saying I've been
- 30:27Speaker 3: picking up lately on this sentiment that you're sharing.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Oh well, let's see how your radar is.
- 30:34Speaker 10: On air with Ryan Seacrest, I have.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Been kissed up the m JT Sexy back all right,
- 30:40Speaker 2: Chewey Martinez is out in Koreatown taking care of people's
- 30:46Speaker 2: gas stress. I mean, there is no doubt that so
- 30:50Speaker 2: many people have to drive from Inland Empire or in
- 30:53Speaker 2: Love Valley or Santa Clarito a long distance to get
- 30:56Speaker 2: to the city downtown to go to work then go back.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I mean, the commute is a real thing, and when
- 31:02Speaker 2: gas prices are this high, it kind of presses out
- 31:05Speaker 2: everything else in life. So Chewy has been showing up
- 31:08Speaker 2: for the last several weeks now a different gas stations
- 31:12Speaker 2: around some in California, Koreatown.
- 31:13Speaker 1: This morning. What you got?

- 33:44Speaker 4: You're getting a K.
- 33:45Speaker 3: It's because they're trying to be short with you.
- 33:49Speaker 2: No, they're trying to save time. It doesn't save any time.
- 33:52Speaker 6: This coming from the man that loves to save time

- 34:49Speaker 2: generally go this self deprecating route, but I happened intentionally.
- 34:52Speaker 1: If anyone says anything nice, to just say thank you
- 34:56Speaker 1: and move on. That's the appropriate response.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I know.
