- 4:30Speaker 1: and JT's add It's quite the mess, but we get
- 4:34Speaker 1: the job done. Now, before we get into today's case,
- 4:39Speaker 1: I want to give an update from a case we
- 4:42Speaker 1: covered on Midday. Okay, we mentioned that a body had
- 4:47Speaker 1: been found last week, but the remains had not been identified. Guys,
- 4:54Speaker 1: the remains have been identified as Amanda Graziski, So if
- 5:00Speaker 1: you remember she vanished from Dairy, New Hampshire in March
- 5:03Speaker 1: twenty twenty. Her remains were located last week in a
- 5:07Speaker 1: Marshy Marshy era area. I cannot talk today, maybe I
- 5:12Speaker 1: should drink some water. Sorry, guys, it's the ana histamines
- 5:17Speaker 1: drawing me out. But she was located in a marshy
- 5:21Speaker 1: area of Hoodcroft country Club. Now. The discovery came after
- 5:26Speaker 1: a tip was called in and thanks to drone mapping
- 5:30Speaker 1: by a civilian drone pilot, Denice Keller, who fligged several
- 5:35Speaker 1: suspicious areas. One of them led searchers to Amanda. Now
- 5:41Speaker 1: the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office have confirmed this. Okay,
- 5:46Speaker 1: the remains are Amanda's. The investigation into how she died
- 5:51Speaker 1: is still ongoing. For Amanda's family and the community, this
- 5:56Speaker 1: is the answer they've waited over five years. And guys,
- 6:02Speaker 1: now they begin their next chapter of justice and healing,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and we want to let them know our hearts, prayers
- 6:11Speaker 1: and all of our beings are with them. Now. Guys,
- 6:15Speaker 1: did you hear what I said? I said a tip
- 6:19Speaker 1: led to Amanda being found. Yes, you heard me. A tip.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Tips are critical, So please, guys, if you know something
- 6:30Speaker 1: about a person who is missing or has been murdered,
- 6:35Speaker 1: please say something. Guys, you can always report anonymously to
- 6:39Speaker 1: the FBI at FBI dot gov slash tips. They don't
- 6:45Speaker 1: even have to be involved in the case and you
- 6:48Speaker 1: can still make a tip to them. So I want
- 6:51Speaker 1: you to think about that. If you're holding onto information
- 6:55Speaker 1: and you're saying, ah, somebody else, I'll call it in,
- 6:58Speaker 1: or oh what if it's just rumor or ooh, I
- 7:02Speaker 1: don't want to get involved. Guys, do the right thing.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Call in that one tip could lead to another family, Okay,
- 7:14Speaker 1: another family. Think about that. I know I'm saying it
- 7:17Speaker 1: multiple times to another family bringing home their left one.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm not going to cry, but I'm thinking about it.
- 7:24Speaker 1: So just please do the right thing. Okay. Now, our
- 7:30Speaker 1: first case today is Aaron Marie Gilbert. She was born
- 7:35Speaker 1: May fourth, nineteen seventy one, in San Francisco, California, and
- 7:41Speaker 1: she vanished on July first, nineteen ninety five, at the
- 7:45Speaker 1: age of twenty four. Guys, I believe she might have
- 7:48Speaker 1: been born in Washington and then was raised in California.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I think I've got that wrong there, so pardon me
- 7:56Speaker 1: if I do. But she vanished on July nineteen ninety
- 8:01Speaker 1: five at the age of twenty four. Erin had moved
- 8:05Speaker 1: to Anchorage, Alaska, where she worked as a nanny for
- 8:09Speaker 1: a friend of her sisters, and she lived with her sister,
- 8:13Speaker 1: Stephanie and her brother in law. Now, she went missing
- 8:16Speaker 1: during a visit to the Girdwood Forced Fair in Girdwood, Alaska.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Now Erin is described as a kind and confident woman
- 8:26Speaker 1: who was out going and guys, they said she was
- 8:29Speaker 1: kind to everyone she met. Now, on that day, Erin
- 8:35Speaker 1: attended the fair with David Combs, a man she had
- 8:38Speaker 1: met just days earlier at Chilcoot Charlie's. Guys, what is
- 8:45Speaker 1: a chilcoot? If anybody knows, I need to know what
- 8:47Speaker 1: a chilcoot is. But they met at Chilcoot Charlie's, which
- 8:51Speaker 1: is a bar in Anchorage, Okay. Then days later they
- 8:56Speaker 1: went to this fair. They departed Anchorage around four pm
- 9:00Speaker 1: and were lasting together at the fair's beer garden around
- 9:04Speaker 1: six pm. Now Aaron was wearing black leather jacket, a
- 9:09Speaker 1: black and white shirt, mountain boots, and black jeans. Now,
- 9:13Speaker 1: according to David, upon returning to his car, they discovered
- 9:18Speaker 1: the battery was dead do the him leaving the headlights on,
- 9:22Speaker 1: He claimed he left Aaron to search or excuse me.
- 9:26Speaker 1: He left Aaron in the car so he could go
- 9:29Speaker 1: search and find help from a nearby his friend's house. Now,
- 9:34Speaker 1: he spent approximately roughly around two hours searching unsuccessfully for help,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and he says upon his return to the car, Aaron
- 9:44Speaker 1: was gone. She was nowhere to be seen. Now. David
- 9:48Speaker 1: stated that he assumed she had returned to the fair
- 9:52Speaker 1: and after finding his car operable all of a sudden,
- 9:56Speaker 1: he searched for her until about one am without six
- 10:02Speaker 1: Now the following morning, after receiving a call from David
- 10:06Speaker 1: inquiring if Aaron had returned home, her family initiated a
- 10:11Speaker 1: search of the fair, gown, fairgrounds, and surrounding woods. Okay, guys,
- 10:17Speaker 1: I gotta just stop. If he didn't find her by
- 10:19Speaker 1: one am, why did he wait till the next morning?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Because I'm here to tell you I wouldn't have been
- 10:25Speaker 1: able to go to bed. If I was David, I
- 10:28Speaker 1: would have I don't care if I woke somebody up
- 10:29Speaker 1: at one am, I would have been calling them, okay,
- 10:33Speaker 1: to see where she was. But that's just me. So
- 10:36Speaker 1: I shouldn't try to assume what somebody would do. Just
- 10:38Speaker 1: tell you what I would do. Now. Stephanie, who was
- 10:42Speaker 1: Aaron's sister, called to report her sister missing, but she
- 10:47Speaker 1: was told that her sister was an adult and she
- 10:50Speaker 1: had the right to leave if she wanted to. Okay, guys,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I hate everything about that comment. I hate everything about it. Now.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It wasn't until the family went vocal with a local
- 11:05Speaker 1: news station that law enforcement got involved. So, guys, I
- 11:10Speaker 1: want to remind you in our tips I've given. If
- 11:12Speaker 1: I loved one of yours, go was missing and the
- 11:15Speaker 1: cops won't listen to you, Go to the media, go
- 11:18Speaker 1: to podcasts, go wherever you have to. Okay, don't wait
- 11:22Speaker 1: for them, because time is critical. Now. Alaska State Troopers
- 11:28Speaker 1: did get involved, and they did finally conduct extensive searches
- 11:32Speaker 1: using helicopters and search dogs, but say they found no
- 11:36Speaker 1: trace of Aaron. In twenty seventeen, Lieutenant Randy McFerrin of
- 11:42Speaker 1: the Alaska State Troopers commented on the case. He said,
- 11:46Speaker 1: we don't know for sure what happened. We don't know
- 11:49Speaker 1: if this was foul play or not. We just don't know.
- 11:53Speaker 1: We don't have any witnesses, we don't have any human remains,
- 11:58Speaker 1: we don't have a crime scene, we don't have much
- 12:00Speaker 1: of anything. So it's going to be very hard. But
- 12:04Speaker 1: like I said, somebody knows something. Deputy Farren what do
- 12:13Speaker 1: you mean you don't have a crime scene. I'm going
- 12:16Speaker 1: to just go and say, hopefully they're holding information back,
- 12:21Speaker 1: but I want to know did they check David's car,
- 12:23Speaker 1: because what if something happened in that car? I mean
- 12:29Speaker 1: there was a fair going on. Did you not try
- 12:33Speaker 1: to put out an announcement to the area saying, hey,
- 12:36Speaker 1: if you were at the fairgrounds at this between this
- 12:38Speaker 1: time and this time, or if you were parked in
- 12:41Speaker 1: this area, did you see anything. There's got to be
- 12:44Speaker 1: witnesses out there. So I am saying, if you were
- 12:49Speaker 1: at the fairground in Girdwood, Alaska, okay during this event,
- 12:55Speaker 1: please call the police if you saw anything and think back.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It's been it's been a while, stop and think back.
- 13:05Speaker 1: There is a reward. So at that time, Aaron's family
- 13:09Speaker 1: offered a thirty five thousand dollars reward for information leading
- 13:14Speaker 1: to her whereabouts now. Over the years, Erin's disappearance has
- 13:19Speaker 1: been the subject of various media coverage, including a seven
- 13:23Speaker 1: episode podcast series by Alaska Unsolved in twenty nineteen and
- 13:29Speaker 1: an episode by The Vanished podcast in twenty twenty. I'm
- 13:33Speaker 1: going to tell you guys, go listen to it. I
- 13:36Speaker 1: am going to go listen. I didn't want to listen
- 13:38Speaker 1: before I did Mid Day Missing. I'm going to go
- 13:41Speaker 1: listen because I have so many questions about this and
- 13:46Speaker 1: might need to do a deep dive. Now it has
- 13:50Speaker 1: been over twenty eight years since Aaron's disappearance. Okay, her
- 13:56Speaker 1: family continues to seek answers, and they do maintain a
- 14:00Speaker 1: Facebook page titled Finding Aaron mcgree Gilbert. They share information.
- 14:08Speaker 1: They also gather information. Guys. Aaron's case remains unsolved, and
- 14:14Speaker 1: authorities urge anyone with the information to come forward and
- 14:19Speaker 1: help bring closure to her family. Please contact the Alaska
- 14:23Speaker 1: State Troopers at nine oh seven four two eight seventy
- 14:28Speaker 1: two hundred, or if you want to stay anonymous, you
- 14:32Speaker 1: can reach out to the FBI dot gov, slash tips,
- 14:36Speaker 1: or set up a fake email address and email me
- 14:39Speaker 1: at Terry attcwmedia dot com. I will be happy to
- 14:44Speaker 1: share that information with them. Okay, I just wanted to.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I mean, my head is spinning about this case, and
- 14:54Speaker 1: I really want to go down some rabbit holes because
- 14:57Speaker 1: that tale is I have so many questions and so
- 15:02Speaker 1: many suspicions. So I'm trying to remember this as Midday
- 15:06Speaker 1: Missing this is not true crime in one time. I'm
- 15:09Speaker 1: not diving deep into what happened, but just know, keep
- 15:14Speaker 1: an eye out. There might be a follow up to
- 15:16Speaker 1: that case. Okay. Next, we're going to talk about Zachary Daniels. Now,
- 15:22Speaker 1: before I get into the case, I want to say,
- 15:26Speaker 1: welcome to Malaya. I hope I said it right, or
- 15:30Speaker 1: if it's I think it's Malaya. I see she posted
- 15:33Speaker 1: in the chat at eleven fifteen last night saying that
- 15:36Speaker 1: is her dad. I just want to tell her our
- 15:40Speaker 1: hearts go out to you, and if there's anything we
- 15:45Speaker 1: can do, please reach out to us. Okay, let me
- 15:49Speaker 1: tell you about the disappearance of thirty eight year old
- 15:52Speaker 1: Zachary Vaughn Daniels from Eureka, California, Because guys, it's like
- 15:59Speaker 1: most of midday missing cases, it's very suspicious. Now. February fourteenth,
- 16:04Speaker 1: twenty twenty three Valentine's Day for many a day of
- 16:09Speaker 1: love in connection and for Terry here my favorite holiday, okay,
- 16:15Speaker 1: But for the family of Zachary Daniels, it marks the
- 16:19Speaker 1: last day they heard from him. Zachary was a man
- 16:27Speaker 1: who is living a transient lifestyle at the time in Eureka, California.
- 16:32Speaker 1: He cashed his final paycheck from his job at the
- 16:36Speaker 1: Mitchell Grove Weld wedding venue on this day and he
- 16:40Speaker 1: has not been seen since. Zachary was born on September seventeenth,
- 16:46Speaker 1: nineteen eighty four, and he grew up on the East
- 16:48Speaker 1: Coast and he does have family in South Carolina. He
- 16:52Speaker 1: is described as a white male with brown hair brown eyes.
- 16:57Speaker 1: He is six feet three inches tall. He's a tall dude, guys,
- 17:01Speaker 1: here's a tall one anyways, approximately one hundred and eighty pounds. Now.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He has a scar near his left eye and a
- 17:10Speaker 1: tattoo of a snake and a rose on his left forearm. Now.
- 17:14Speaker 1: He was known to wear black rimmed rectangular glasses, and
- 17:19Speaker 1: he often kept his hair longer and tied in a
- 17:22Speaker 1: small ponytail. Now, like I said, after cashing his paycheck,
- 17:27Speaker 1: he seemingly vanished. His family was concerned after not hearing
- 17:32Speaker 1: from him and reported him missing in June of twenty
- 17:35Speaker 1: twenty three. Now, in a crazy turn on July twenty fourth,
- 17:41Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, Zachary's vehicle, a silver Mazda Protege, was
- 17:47Speaker 1: found being driven by an unlicened individual. The car was
- 17:52Speaker 1: subsequently towed, but zach remained unaccounted for, and the driver
- 17:59Speaker 1: claimed to have seen Zachary just a week prior. But
- 18:03Speaker 1: no further leads have emerged. Guys, when I told you
- 18:07Speaker 1: this was a suspicious case as well, I mean all
- 18:11Speaker 1: of our missing person cases shock me and how somebody
- 18:15Speaker 1: can just disappear, But to find somebody driving a missing
- 18:20Speaker 1: person's car, I don't have so many questions, Guys. This
- 18:25Speaker 1: is why I need to get my PI license so
- 18:28Speaker 1: I can spend time working these kind of things. Now,
- 18:35Speaker 1: Zachary's transient lifestyle in the Erika and Humboldt areas adds
- 18:41Speaker 1: complexity to the investigation. Guys, we talked about the Humboldt area.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I forget whether it was on Midday Missing or on
- 18:49Speaker 1: True Crime and Wine time. That area has a lot
- 18:53Speaker 1: of problems, a lot of growers, there are a lot
- 18:56Speaker 1: of drug areas. Not saying he's involved than that, I
- 19:01Speaker 1: just want to say even going through that area is
- 19:05Speaker 1: very dangerous. Now authorities have reached out to the public
- 19:09Speaker 1: for assistance. Guys, Leads are scarce, Okay. The circumstances surrounding
- 19:16Speaker 1: his disappearance raised numerous questions, like did he choose to disappear.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Did he meet with foul play or did something happen
- 19:27Speaker 1: to him? And he is suffering a mental health concern.
- 19:32Speaker 1: We don't know, okay, but the discovery of his vehicle
- 19:37Speaker 1: in someone else's possession deepens the mystery for me, and
- 19:43Speaker 1: I want to go down a rabbit hole. I want
- 19:45Speaker 1: to know who had the vehicle, where they are, did
- 19:48Speaker 1: they have a record, have they been talked to? I
- 19:51Speaker 1: got lots of questions. Okay, Now, Zachary would be in
- 19:58Speaker 1: his forties. His family continues to seek answers and holds
- 20:03Speaker 1: out hope for his return. So if you have any
- 20:08Speaker 1: information regarding Zachary's whereabouts or his activities in February or now, okay,
- 20:17Speaker 1: please contact the Eureka Police Department Investigation Unit at seven
- 20:22Speaker 1: oh seven four four one DASH forty three hundred. Also, guys,
- 20:28Speaker 1: please share our missing person flyers. Don't just share them
- 20:32Speaker 1: to your Facebook page or your Instagram or your TikTok
- 20:36Speaker 1: go share them on communities in those areas, or if
- 20:41Speaker 1: you know somebody that lives in California, tag them so
- 20:45Speaker 1: they can share it. Let's help bring these individuals home. Okay,
- 20:53Speaker 1: Now I know y'all have gotten used to be giving
- 20:56Speaker 1: you tips today. I'm not going to give you a
- 20:59Speaker 1: tip today. I want to tell you about Lisa Aras.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I think that's how you say it. And Lisa was
- 21:09Speaker 1: born in Australia and is now a New Yorker and
- 21:14Speaker 1: she says she's a New Yorker at heart. And I'm
- 21:17Speaker 1: sure you're all sitting there wondering why in the heck
- 21:21Speaker 1: is Terry telling us about somebody named Lisa who's not missing. Well,
- 21:28Speaker 1: let me tell you, Lisa is beyond amazing, Okay. Lisa
- 21:35Speaker 1: is walking three thousand miles from Los Angeles, California, to
- 21:41Speaker 1: New York City to raise awareness for suicide prevention and awareness.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And she wants to shift the conversation from mental illness
- 21:54Speaker 1: to mental fitness. And guys, I love that and I
- 22:00Speaker 1: am going to start trying to do my part and
- 22:03Speaker 1: use mental fitness now. Lisa sat out on her journey
- 22:08Speaker 1: on January twenty January tenth, twenty twenty five, and as
- 22:13Speaker 1: of today, March twenty sixth, she is in my home
- 22:17Speaker 1: state of Texas. Now, considering how big Texas is, this
- 22:22Speaker 1: fact she will be walking across Texas for a couple
- 22:25Speaker 1: of days now, I was introduced to Lisa because of
- 22:30Speaker 1: one of my childhood friends who grew up across the
- 22:32Speaker 1: street from me. Her son went to school with Lisa's
- 22:37Speaker 1: son and they became friends. So I want to tell
- 22:41Speaker 1: Selena thank you for bringing Lisa to my attention. I
- 22:46Speaker 1: spoke with her this morning, and when I say she's lovely,
- 22:50Speaker 1: I mean she's lovely. I need to get Lisa on
- 22:55Speaker 1: the show. I'm either going to bring her on True
- 22:57Speaker 1: Crime and Mine Time, Midday Missing, or special show. I'm
- 23:01Speaker 1: going to do something. Okay, I need y'all to hear
- 23:04Speaker 1: more about this woman. Now. This is a personal journey
- 23:09Speaker 1: for Lisa. She lost her husband sixteen years ago to suicide.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Her husband was one of the amazing people who worked
- 23:19Speaker 1: nine to eleven. Now. Lisa was left to handle the
- 23:23Speaker 1: tragic loss of her husband. But guys, she also had
- 23:27Speaker 1: a six and seven year old to support and help
- 23:31Speaker 1: through their grief and to raise as a single mom,
- 23:36Speaker 1: and she found out there is not a lot of
- 23:39Speaker 1: resources out there. So Lisa wants to spark conversation around
- 23:46Speaker 1: mental health and how it affects everyone. Guys, did you
- 23:51Speaker 1: hear me? Everyone? Okay, especially when it comes to suicide. Okay,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'll talk with Lisa. She told me that she also
- 24:02Speaker 1: wants to try and teach people to be active listeners,
- 24:07Speaker 1: not fixers. And I wish I would have written down
- 24:11Speaker 1: exactly what she said, but this is kind of the gist.
- 24:14Speaker 1: So she said, basically, if someone comes to you with
- 24:17Speaker 1: an issue and you don't know how to fix it
- 24:21Speaker 1: or you don't know how to help, it is okay
- 24:24Speaker 1: to look at them and say, I don't know how
- 24:27Speaker 1: to fix this, but I am here and I will
- 24:32Speaker 1: sit here with you as long as you need me to. Guys,
- 24:38Speaker 1: this was so impactful to me, and I just got
- 24:43Speaker 1: goosebups again because I think we're all so busy in
- 24:48Speaker 1: our life. We're like, hey, I can't help with that,
- 24:50Speaker 1: good luck, give them a hug, best wishes. I'll think
- 24:53Speaker 1: about you. But how that changes things If you say, hey,
- 24:59Speaker 1: I can't it fix it, but I can sit here
- 25:03Speaker 1: and be with you and listen to you, or if
- 25:06Speaker 1: you need to sit here and just be quiet, I'll
- 25:08Speaker 1: sit here as long as I need you to. That
- 25:12Speaker 1: is powerful, I mean, that is powerful. So if you
- 25:17Speaker 1: want to follow Lisa's journey, you can on keep me
- 25:21Speaker 1: posted today dot com. Now, she updates her website several
- 25:27Speaker 1: times a week. She has a section with her musings,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and there is one musing that I am going to
- 25:36Speaker 1: read after we go live today because my understanding it
- 25:40Speaker 1: is very emotional and very impactful. It's about Laura's story.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm looking at my notes. Yes, Laura's force voice. She
- 25:50Speaker 1: is a nine year old who committed suicide, and Lisa
- 25:55Speaker 1: met her family member along her journey and shared it
- 26:00Speaker 1: on her site. Another thing Lisa shared with me she
- 26:04Speaker 1: talks with people on the phone. If you want to
- 26:06Speaker 1: call her, you can who've lost someone to suicide. She said,
- 26:12Speaker 1: when the walking's tough, she will find that she's walked
- 26:16Speaker 1: double the miles when talking to someone because she forgets
- 26:21Speaker 1: about the pain in her feet and stuff and she's
- 26:24Speaker 1: just being there with them. Okay, So I would love
- 26:28Speaker 1: if y'all would go follow her, keep up with her.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Read Laura's Voice. Let me know what you think. I
- 26:35Speaker 1: might ask Lisa if it's okay to share the story
- 26:38Speaker 1: on here after I read it. It may be one
- 26:40Speaker 1: of those ones I can't read without crying. Just thinking
- 26:46Speaker 1: about that kind of journey and what she's been through
- 26:51Speaker 1: is so impactful because I personally feel we need to
- 26:57Speaker 1: send Lisa a pair of wings to wear, because she
- 27:00Speaker 1: is truly an angel for what she's doing, not just
- 27:04Speaker 1: the walking three thousand miles, but by actively raising awareness
- 27:11Speaker 1: and helping change people's tunes. Okay, now, I want to
- 27:17Speaker 1: thank you all for joining me today and I hope
- 27:21Speaker 1: to see you on Monday for our next episode of
