- 0:00Speaker 1: Blonde into Everything, New York.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I'm the voice of New York. Mark Simon on sevent ten, warn.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 0:16Speaker 3: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to UH
- 0:19Speaker 3: Robert in Westchester. Robert, how you doing doing well?
- 0:23Speaker 4: Mark? Thank you very much and congratulations. I can't wait
- 0:26Speaker 4: for the extra hour. So Mark with You're welcome, sir.
- 0:30Speaker 4: With Mandonie going to UH to the eleven nine to
- 0:34Speaker 4: eleven memorial. I don't believe he's doing it out of
- 0:36Speaker 4: empathy or what to show, you know, gravitas, or to
- 0:40Speaker 4: be kind to me. I think he's going to stand
- 0:42Speaker 4: there just to be like, I'm here, you don't like
- 0:44Speaker 4: it too bad? And suffer with it. I lost somebody
- 0:48Speaker 4: in nine to eleven, and like those other families, I
- 0:51Speaker 4: don't want to see him there.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, no, no, nobody, nobody, nobody wants him there. But
- 0:55Speaker 3: you may be said before, yeah, now you have a
- 0:59Speaker 3: very good point. They're probably those families are going to
- 1:03Speaker 3: turn their back on them in front of the cameras.
- 1:05Speaker 3: So it's good. But he's a very calculating guy, so listen.
- 1:12Speaker 3: He's anti Semitic. I know he tries to explain it
- 1:15Speaker 3: that I listen to this.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I want to make very clear that my criticisms of
- 1:18Speaker 1: prime minist revengement met now are of specifically prime Minist revengement,
- 1:23Speaker 1: and any criticisms of any foreign state should never be
- 1:27Speaker 1: confused for criticisms of a people or of a faith,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and my responsibility as the mayor.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Sorry, it doesn't pass the smell test of the laugh testing.
- 1:34Speaker 3: You listen, he's this is white supremacy. You know, if
- 1:38Speaker 3: you study white supremacy, one of the key components is
- 1:40Speaker 3: always anti semitism. And when these communists socialists show up,
- 1:45Speaker 3: it's always anti semitism with them. And you have to
- 1:48Speaker 3: remember with these socialist communists, anti Semitism is just the
- 1:53Speaker 3: opening chapter, and then it becomes anti Catholic, anti America.
- 1:58Speaker 3: So clearly anti Semitic, but underneath you're going to find
- 2:02Speaker 3: he's anti Irish, he's anti Italian, he's anti Christian. But
- 2:07Speaker 3: you may have a point there. I think he maybe
- 2:09Speaker 3: wants to show up at that twenty fifth anniversary, even
- 2:12Speaker 3: though the families have asked him not to. I think
- 2:14Speaker 3: he wants to show up just to annoy the whole situation.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Everything is calculating to impress his voters, and if those
- 2:22Speaker 3: families and the cops and where they do turn their
- 2:24Speaker 3: back on him, it'll just energize his base, his crazy
- 2:29Speaker 3: lunatic followers. Let's go to Jack in Putnam Valley. Jack,
- 2:33Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Good morning, mister Smoan. Have to apologize you answered last
- 2:38Speaker 2: week and I mindedly touched the wrong button. But I'd
- 2:41Speaker 2: like to talk about the Republicans. Should they're responsible for
- 2:45Speaker 2: the Modomini being in there. They put that lightweight Como
- 2:48Speaker 2: when they were with a lot of baggage, and had
- 2:50Speaker 2: they backed somebody else, somebody, anybody else but Como, we
- 2:54Speaker 2: would have had a chance to beat him. Nobody's taken.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Now you're talking about Perry Como, the singer. You mean Cuomo?
- 3:01Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, that's what I'm sorry, but that's SU's
- 3:05Speaker 2: what I mean exactly. But nobody in the Republicans admitted
- 3:08Speaker 2: that they made a huge mistake by putting the well
- 3:12Speaker 2: points closed prisons.
- 3:13Speaker 3: You know, yeah, No, he was a horrible governor. Listen,
- 3:15Speaker 3: you got a good point. This is what really happened.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Every'll argue, well, if Curtis hadn't been in the race,
- 3:21Speaker 3: if Curtis hadn't been in the race and Cuomo got
- 3:23Speaker 3: every single Curtis voter, he still would have been way short.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Cuomo had no chance, ever, ever, ever, ever, Now that
- 3:32Speaker 3: people like to say, well Curtis can't win, well you
- 3:34Speaker 3: never know Cuomo. You know he can't win. Absolutely had
- 3:39Speaker 3: no shot. If Cuomo had never shown up, first of all,
- 3:43Speaker 3: he wouldn't have been in that Democratic primary. Mom Donnie
- 3:46Speaker 3: would not have won the primary. One of those hacker
- 3:50Speaker 3: Democrats would have won. One of those you know, Scott
- 3:53Speaker 3: Stringer type Democrats would have gotten it. Because Cuomo gotten
- 3:59Speaker 3: the primary, it just helped Mom donni, because Cuomo was
- 4:03Speaker 3: so bad in those two primary debates that Mom Donnie
- 4:06Speaker 3: just slapped him around and rose to win the thing. Remember,
- 4:13Speaker 3: Cuomo got wiped out in the Democratic primary. So if
- 4:16Speaker 3: he can't win Democrats, who the hell's he gonna win with?
- 4:18Speaker 3: So had he not been in the race, I know
- 4:22Speaker 3: he'll argue, well, Curtis in the debates took my momentum.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Cuomo never had any momentum. Think about this, There's never
- 4:29Speaker 3: been a race like this in history where the guy
- 4:32Speaker 3: is running Cuomo as an independent, and you've got every
- 4:36Speaker 3: major Republican, including the President, telling everybody to vote for Cuomo. Everybody.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I was on the air day and night saying just
- 4:44Speaker 3: vote for Cuomo, don't vote for Curtis, telling everybody telling
- 4:47Speaker 3: you to vote for it. And he still couldn't win.
- 4:49Speaker 3: He was still with like eight points short, so he
- 4:51Speaker 3: could never win anything. I hope he learned this lesson.
- 4:54Speaker 3: He then went on to do a radio show, which
- 4:56Speaker 3: is considered the worst radio show ever. He quit after
- 5:00Speaker 3: a few months. I hope he learned this lesson on
- 5:02Speaker 3: that too. Let's go to Jacob in Brooklyn. Jacob, how
- 5:05Speaker 3: you doing?
- 5:07Speaker 5: I'm Jacob, I'm talking Mark.
- 5:08Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 5:09Speaker 4: Wow?
- 5:10Speaker 5: I love you so thanks, and I love you so
- 5:12Speaker 5: so much that I listened to your show live, and
- 5:15Speaker 5: that I listen to your podcast, and so is my mom.
- 5:18Speaker 5: My mom loves yourself too. Thanks Mark. Is it possible
- 5:23Speaker 5: to talk to the lose guests that nobody's interested? What
- 5:28Speaker 5: Schumer idiot, tumor and our idiot?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:32Speaker 3: No, you bring up a good point. I'll explain that.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I know what he's talking now, I know what you're
- 5:36Speaker 3: talking about. Schumer is the most useless idiot in the world.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Every Sunday, there's no news, there's nothing happening on a Sunday.
- 5:44Speaker 3: So Schumer figured this out years ago. So every Sunday
- 5:48Speaker 3: leaves his family, he they drag a podium somewhere on
- 5:51Speaker 3: the sidewalk, and he makes a speech about something, usually
- 5:54Speaker 3: some issue, and that's because there's nothing happening on Sunday.
- 6:00Speaker 3: So on the six o'clock news, eleven o'clock news, in
- 6:02Speaker 3: the papers the next day, they report on what Schumer
- 6:05Speaker 3: said because there's no other stories for the day, and
- 6:08Speaker 3: he needs an issue every Sunday, so he runs around.
- 6:12Speaker 3: His people go all over the Senate into everybody's office,
- 6:15Speaker 3: like on Friday, looking for something. And a lot of
- 6:18Speaker 3: these senators tell me they have to lock their office
- 6:20Speaker 3: because the Schumer people come in and steal your issue.
- 6:23Speaker 3: So that's why he gets the coverage. And on our
- 6:27Speaker 3: news today in the morning, you'll hear the Schumer clips
- 6:29Speaker 3: because there was nothing else happened yesterday. And Schumer, he
- 6:34Speaker 3: has tried through the years, well let me see if
- 6:36Speaker 3: I do it on a Tuesday or Wednesday, no coverage
- 6:38Speaker 3: because if anything else is happening, who the hell would
- 6:41Speaker 3: bother with him? It's a pathetic exercise that this old
- 6:45Speaker 3: Willie Lohman old, broken down, old senator keeps doing it. Hey.
- 6:51Speaker 3: When we come back to brilliant columnist Liz Peak, we'll
- 6:54Speaker 3: talk to her next on seven to ten WR
