- 2:05Speaker 4: been a couple of shows that have popped up that
- 2:07Speaker 4: I'm really interested to go see, really, and one of
- 2:10Speaker 4: them for a couple of different reasons. There's every year
- 2:13Speaker 4: there's this thing. It's called the Inkcarceration, Music and Tattoo Festival.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Now that doesn't seem like something I'd be into.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 2:24Speaker 4: So it's the Ink because getting like incarceration, but Ink
- 2:27Speaker 4: because of the tattoos and stuff that it's music and
- 2:29Speaker 4: then a bunch of other stuff. This happens at the
- 2:31Speaker 4: Ohio State Reformatory, which is where they filmed The Shawshank Redemption.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I think that'd be cool just.
- 2:40Speaker 1: To see, just to be there, just to see that great.
- 2:44Speaker 4: But this year, uh, they've got Disturbed and Limp Biscuit
- 2:47Speaker 4: on the line, which I've been wanting to see ever
- 2:50Speaker 4: since this renaissance of Limp Biscuit. I've been wanting to
- 2:53Speaker 4: see Limp, but it's been forever since I've seen them.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I think that one's good, and then there's another one.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I think it's called let me uh, let me go on.
- 3:00Speaker 4: And because I made a note of it, let's see here,
- 3:03Speaker 4: tell me you wouldn't be interested. I'm gonna do like
- 3:05Speaker 4: a Woody.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Show Field trip to this festival.
- 3:10Speaker 4: It's called the Summer of ninety nine, so Summer of
- 3:14Speaker 4: ninety nine and beyond. So it's oh, let me turn
- 3:17Speaker 4: that down. It's a Limp Biscuit, Cypress Hill, creed Bush seven,
- 3:24Speaker 4: dust Hubastank, Candlebox, Puddle of Mud. I mean, there's a
- 3:29Speaker 4: ton of bit made for It's totally made for me.
- 3:32Speaker 1: That's perfect.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I think that would be crazy fun. Let's do it,
- 3:36Speaker 4: and that's happening in Illinois. Got Candlebox only had what
- 3:41Speaker 4: one big hit? No, they they had far behind right
- 3:46Speaker 4: cover me.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I believe it's see how many songs do we have
- 3:49Speaker 1: in here? By Candlebox ninety.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Simple Lessons was a great song. Jeez yeah, Candlebox you
- 3:57Speaker 4: that was great? You remember you don't I don't hold
- 4:00Speaker 4: on Candlebox you?

- 4:21Speaker 10: this song sound killed, dude, This song panties right.
- 4:28Speaker 11: Three or four singles you probably know, so they play
- 4:31Speaker 11: all those a couple of times of each.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You got a good set, Yeah, woody show.

- 5:25Speaker 1: I mean you said I didn't. I should, that's the question.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I really should. Yeah, stop being a puss.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I would ask Greg for an example of like
- 5:35Speaker 4: how he's a puss about stuff, but we have we
- 5:37Speaker 4: have too many for Greg Goods. Are you a puss?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Are you admittedly a puss about anything?
- 5:43Speaker 8: I I wish I were. I can't think of anything
- 5:46Speaker 8: that I am, though.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I think I'm just like kind of saying like snakes
- 5:49Speaker 4: or you know, heights.
- 5:51Speaker 11: Oh we're talking about how like I don't love depths,
- 5:55Speaker 11: like I don't like giant spaces of open water where
- 5:57Speaker 11: you can't see that far. Yeah, but like I'm not
- 6:00Speaker 11: like not gonna go rarely, but I don't love it.
- 6:04Speaker 8: I'm not like you know, Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 4: There's something like in daily life that you come in
- 6:08Speaker 4: contact with that nophobian.
- 6:10Speaker 8: I guess I'm just like kind of built like a badass.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Oh yes, yeah, yes, that's what it is. You have
- 6:16Speaker 1: all those muscles, not much scary real yeah yeah, yeah true.
- 6:20Speaker 4: All right, we got the birthday's port of birthday coming
- 6:22Speaker 4: up here in just a few minutes. All right, minut's
- 6:27Speaker 4: what you got for us today?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Well, Pam Anderson just did an interview with Andy Cohen,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and she said that she would love to be friends
- 6:33Speaker 1: with Tommy Lee, but his wife not really into it,
- 6:37Speaker 1: so that's why they don't talk. But she would love
- 6:39Speaker 1: to interact with them because they do have children. And
- 6:42Speaker 1: I didn't realize that their kids are almost thirty years old.
- 6:45Speaker 8: That's insane, that's crazy.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Also, by the way, Tommy Lee's wife not having a
- 6:50Speaker 1: great week. I don't know if you remember this, but
- 6:52Speaker 1: she was being catfished.
- 6:53Speaker 8: Is it pretty furlin?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, she thought she was being Uh. She thought she
- 6:58Speaker 1: was talking with Ronnie, who is the lead singer of
- 7:02Speaker 1: Falling Reverse. He was also the least singer for the
- 7:05Speaker 1: band's Escape the Fate, and they were going back and
- 7:08Speaker 1: forth online. She thought she was talking to him the
- 7:11Speaker 1: whole time, and then she called him out online allegedly.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I think that's what the story how it went, and
- 7:17Speaker 1: then she found out it wasn't really him, so that
- 7:20Speaker 1: he got all upset, and then they've been going back
- 7:22Speaker 1: and forth. So like this week, Ronnie had a restraining
- 7:26Speaker 1: order against Britney and then Brittany like counteracted with another
- 7:30Speaker 1: restraining order even though they never even interacted ever, it
- 7:34Speaker 1: was just some random person. So Ronnie's like doing some
- 7:37Speaker 1: investigation with Snaptrat trying to figure out who was the
- 7:39Speaker 1: catfish person.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Well, Pam Anderson has been out there making the rounds
- 7:44Speaker 4: on different stuff. Like Pam Anderson, if you remember, she's
- 7:49Speaker 4: not happy with Seth rogoh no because of the Pam
- 7:52Speaker 4: and Tommy series, because he never spoke to her.
- 7:54Speaker 8: Now just made a movie about her.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yes, so when the Vulnerable Life, So when they were
- 7:59Speaker 4: near each other at the Golden Globes this last Golden Globes,
- 8:02Speaker 4: Pam Anderson felt like she said, weird and yucky were
- 8:05Speaker 4: the words that she used just seeing him. She says,
- 8:08Speaker 4: quote like, how can someone make a TV series out
- 8:11Speaker 4: of the difficult times in your life? And I'm a living,
- 8:14Speaker 4: breathing human being over here, like hello, I've just been busy,
- 8:17Speaker 4: but sometimes it hits you and just kind of feel down.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I don't know, it just felt a little yucky. I
- 8:22Speaker 4: eventually hopefully he will maybe reach out to me and apologize.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Not that it matters because he bought the rights to
- 8:28Speaker 4: that article so we could do whatever you wanted. Yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 4: she does say she understands that she you know, she's
- 8:32Speaker 4: a public person, has no right to privacy, but quote
- 8:35Speaker 4: your darkest, deepest, deepest secrets to your strategies in your life.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Shouldn't be fair game for a TV series that pissed
- 8:41Speaker 4: me off a little bit.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I wonder if she actually watched it, because she would
- 8:45Speaker 1: probably find it more comedic than serious.
- 8:47Speaker 8: At the time, she said she didn't watch it.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I also just feel like, you know, the fact that
- 8:51Speaker 4: it's about you and nobody even talked to you.
- 8:53Speaker 8: Yeah, just the heads up.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. The other thing, Pam Anderson adjacent
- 8:58Speaker 4: if you were a Baywatch fan, if you think you
- 9:00Speaker 4: are bay Watch material. Fox is doing a reboot and
- 9:03Speaker 4: there's an open casting call in Marina del Rey, California,
- 9:06Speaker 4: next month, and they're looking for a lot of people.
- 9:09Speaker 4: So they're asking people who audition to arrive with wardrobe
- 9:12Speaker 4: that evokes a beach setting while remaining polished professional and
- 9:16Speaker 4: avoiding revealing styles with costumes.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I saw and I'm like, are they trolling? Is this
- 9:24Speaker 1: like trying to get a bunch of people to show up?
- 9:27Speaker 1: Like is it all why by Sea bass or something
- 9:31Speaker 1: like that.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a real casting call.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I know, dumbass Tyler, I think he's gonna go.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Gina grad what you got well.
- 9:42Speaker 8: Tom Brady says he still struggles during all of his
- 9:45Speaker 8: struggles during his final NFL season welcome by. It's because
- 9:51Speaker 8: it's about football, so I can't speak. Is that all
- 9:55Speaker 8: of his personal all of his stuff, everything that happened
- 9:59Speaker 8: with his struggles is all because of Giselle. That took
- 10:02Speaker 8: a major toll on him. And he's saying, yeah, dealing
- 10:06Speaker 8: with family issues made it super hard to keep playing
- 10:08Speaker 8: at a high level. And you know they were married
- 10:11Speaker 8: for thirteen years.
- 10:12Speaker 4: You can see not only like okay, so you're going
- 10:14Speaker 4: through something. You have just a regular ass job, right
- 10:16Speaker 4: and you're at a you know, regular office job. Nobody
- 10:19Speaker 4: knows who you are. You're not famous, like maybe a
- 10:22Speaker 4: couple of people know there's something going on. You're trying
- 10:23Speaker 4: to work out your relationship. But imagine doing that where
- 10:26Speaker 4: everybody's talking about every little thing ye at you and
- 10:30Speaker 4: you're also a super famous person that people are, you know,
- 10:32Speaker 4: analyzing every little move that you make within your job
- 10:34Speaker 4: like that, enough is difficult. You watch these guys and
- 10:37Speaker 4: these high pressure situations, Uh step to the plate bomb
- 10:40Speaker 4: of the ninth runners on they can it's a huge opportunity,
- 10:44Speaker 4: like everybody, Like everybody's just just the pressure of that
- 10:47Speaker 4: and you.
- 10:47Speaker 8: Become hated so quickly if you mess up.
- 10:50Speaker 4: But imagine your personal drama like that, Yeah, on such
- 10:53Speaker 4: a huge stage playing out and not affecting your performance.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Is that possible unless.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You're a sociopath.
- 10:59Speaker 8: Yeah, So he did admit that it was. It was
- 11:01Speaker 8: definitely Giselle. And you know how we talked about Jackass
- 11:05Speaker 8: five coming out, Well, Johnny Knoxville said he'll do anything.
- 11:08Speaker 8: He'll do any stunt, except for anything involving his head
- 11:14Speaker 8: way too many concussions. He's not kidding about this because
- 11:17Speaker 8: remember in the last one with that stunt where he
- 11:21Speaker 8: was rammed.
- 11:21Speaker 1: By a bull.
- 11:22Speaker 8: He said that doctor said he cannot take any more
- 11:25Speaker 8: hits after that. That like can cost him so bad, don't.
- 11:29Speaker 8: I don't know if his head is insured, but at
- 11:30Speaker 8: this point it probably should be. So that movie comes
- 11:33Speaker 8: out June twenty six, just don't expect him taking a headshots.
- 11:35Speaker 4: And we were talking about Bam Margerah. Yeah, people are like,
- 11:38Speaker 4: he going to be in it, and he did confirm
- 11:40Speaker 4: that he'll be in the older unused footage that they
- 11:42Speaker 4: did when they did Jackass Forever. He said there's actually
- 11:45Speaker 4: a lot of good stuff that they filmed that he
- 11:47Speaker 4: thought was really good. It just never made it perfect.
- 11:50Speaker 4: But apparently a lot of what they're going to show,
- 11:52Speaker 4: not just Bam Margera. I guess a bunch of it
- 11:54Speaker 4: is actually kind of regurgitated stuff. But Bam was asked
- 11:59Speaker 4: if he was to get an offer for something new.
- 12:02Speaker 4: He's not interested, he said. My feeling towards them are
- 12:04Speaker 4: still like f you. I'm just too hurt by it.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Time will tell, but right now, this time, I don't
- 12:09Speaker 4: want to do anything.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's all him. He just doesn't want to.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Well, he does seem like the kind of guy that would, like,
- 12:15Speaker 8: you know, cut off his nose.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Despite his face, he is hurt by them. I mean,
- 12:19Speaker 1: of course we don't know the true story, but everything
- 12:22Speaker 1: public facing seems like they were trying to help him.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Greg Gory, what you got?
- 12:26Speaker 9: I got someone you love and someone I love, and
- 12:29Speaker 9: that would be Richard mother F and Mark Richard Marx
- 12:33Speaker 9: and Rod mother F and Stewart Richard.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I'm not a big fan. I don't I don't care,
- 12:39Speaker 4: but you like Richard Richard Marx is cool. Yeah he
- 12:42Speaker 4: went to his show, Not I did. I had a
- 12:45Speaker 4: very like middle aged date night. Oh my god, Richard
- 12:48Speaker 4: Marx was playing a community college that's I forgot. And
- 12:52Speaker 4: we went and we were the youngest people there by
- 12:54Speaker 4: at least twenty five years, thirty years. But it was great,
- 12:57Speaker 4: It was it was cool. He sounded great.
- 12:59Speaker 8: Did you cry when he saying, right, they're waiting for you.
- 13:01Speaker 1: No?
- 13:01Speaker 4: But I was, man, because I mean, you forget how
- 13:03Speaker 4: many big songs.
- 13:05Speaker 8: He's written so many songs.
- 13:06Speaker 9: Yeah, and so Richard Marx is hanging out at this
- 13:08Speaker 9: London pub with Rod Stewart Lucky, and he brought up
- 13:11Speaker 9: the idea of doing a duet, but it was just
- 13:13Speaker 9: totally casual over beers. And then the next day Rod
- 13:16Speaker 9: calls him and says, yeah, let's do a duet, so
- 13:19Speaker 9: they Richard Marx has this new album. It's called After Hours.
- 13:23Speaker 9: I don't think you would like it, would he because
- 13:25Speaker 9: it's like what they call classic standards, a lot of
- 13:28Speaker 9: Sinatra covers and yeah, covers of the old timey stuff.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I like Sinatra stuff, but I don't like it when
- 13:34Speaker 4: you have current people trying to do that sound like
- 13:37Speaker 4: a Michael. I think he's got a cool I think
- 13:41Speaker 4: he's got a cool voice. Yeah, you know, but I
- 13:43Speaker 4: don't like it when current artists are doing is saying
- 13:46Speaker 4: the fifties bro come.
- 13:48Speaker 9: So they did Young at Heart together and it's on
- 13:50Speaker 9: that album. And now Richard Marx has a problem. He
- 13:53Speaker 9: said he needs a new bucket list item because he
- 13:56Speaker 9: ticked off the bucket list item to do a duet
- 13:59Speaker 9: with Rod Stewart.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I went to a Richard Marks concert with my wife.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Now.
- 14:04Speaker 4: During a contestant interview on Wheel of Fortune last week,
- 14:07Speaker 4: Ryan Seacrest revealed what his first concert was okay, and
- 14:11Speaker 4: the one that his mom wouldn't let him go to.
- 14:13Speaker 4: You'll see how this all ties together here. When I
- 14:15Speaker 4: played the club.
- 14:15Speaker 8: My favorite musician in the world is bon Jovi. Whenever
- 14:18Speaker 8: he is on the radio, mom is saying as.
- 14:20Speaker 11: Loud as she that was the concert I wanted to
- 14:24Speaker 11: go to as a kid.
- 14:24Speaker 1: My mom wouldn't let me.
- 14:26Speaker 4: So the next day a friend of mine went and
- 14:28Speaker 4: brought me the concert T shirt.
- 14:29Speaker 11: So I pretended like I went, I didn't go, and
- 14:31Speaker 11: it was a great moment.
- 14:33Speaker 8: Ryan Waite, was your mother that strict?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:36Speaker 4: I mean the first concert she let me go to
- 14:37Speaker 4: is Richard Marx, which is great. What was your first concert,
- 14:42Speaker 4: kid Richard Marx Community College. Yeah, hello cool. See a
- 14:47Speaker 4: couple of other things. Jimmy Kimmel's sidekid, Girramo, He's launched
- 14:50Speaker 4: his own salsa brand Menace nice. It's called Girmo Salca.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Girmo says, now you can eat my American dream. It's
- 14:57Speaker 4: made with a beautiful ingredients that everyone can pronounce. It's
- 15:00Speaker 4: going to roll out in Costco stores for Bord. We
- 15:03Speaker 4: got some Star Wars news. Star Wars nerds. They are
- 15:06Speaker 4: rejoicing because it was announced that Kathleen Kennedy is stepping
- 15:10Speaker 4: down as president of Lucasfilms, and she took over when
- 15:13Speaker 4: Disney bought Lucasfilms back in twenty twelve. Oversaw the newest
- 15:16Speaker 4: trilogy of Star Wars movies, which did make Disney a
- 15:19Speaker 4: lot of money. But the hardcore dorks say that all
- 15:21Speaker 4: three new trilogy movies are the worst in the series.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Would you agree with that, board they're the worst? Oh
- 15:27Speaker 4: he stepped out forget it?
- 15:29Speaker 12: Well, I will say I disagree. I love the trilogy movies,
- 15:32Speaker 12: the new ones, I love them.
- 15:34Speaker 4: And even like Disney ended up scrapping a bunch of
- 15:36Speaker 4: projects because of that. Really yeah, not that it was
- 15:38Speaker 4: all bad the mandaloria and that worked out, Okay. I
- 15:40Speaker 4: love that the company will now be led by Dave Faloni.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Daniel Stern has dropped out of an ABC pilot after
- 15:47Speaker 4: getting arrested for that whole prostitution thing, soliciting to prostitute.
- 15:52Speaker 4: He wasn't prostituting himself, say he was trying to get
- 15:54Speaker 4: a hooker. But the show that he was doing the
- 15:57Speaker 4: pilot for is called Do You Want Kids? And it's
- 16:01Speaker 4: about a married couple who in one universe have a
- 16:04Speaker 4: baby and then the other don't. In the many ways
- 16:08Speaker 4: that that huge decision has altered their life. It's that
- 16:13Speaker 4: kind of what was the uh, it's a wonderful life?
- 16:16Speaker 4: Is that kind of like the premise of that if
- 16:18Speaker 4: you had never existed? Also, he is creating a new
- 16:22Speaker 4: series that will have canceled celebrities lived together in a
- 16:25Speaker 4: house to seek redemption in the court of public opinion.
- 16:33Speaker 4: The working title is becoming Uncanceled and they haven't yet
- 16:37Speaker 4: said who's going to be on the show. But that quote,
- 16:39Speaker 4: you can think about the kind of people we're talking about,
- 16:41Speaker 4: not criminals, who might need to redeem themselves in front
- 16:44Speaker 4: of the country. But the producers hinted that we can't
- 16:46Speaker 4: rule out a politician because.
- 16:51Speaker 11: Yeah, the people who at this point they know they're
- 16:54Speaker 11: not getting back back into show business if they're going
- 16:56Speaker 11: on this show.
- 16:56Speaker 1: So you can get absolute train wrecks. Who can you
- 17:00Speaker 1: see on the show.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Some of the names floating around. Chris Brown, I think
- 17:03Speaker 4: he takes himself way too seriously. Amber Heard probably know
- 17:09Speaker 4: she lives in a different country.
- 17:10Speaker 8: Now, Ezra Miller, Uh, he is he stable enough to
- 17:14Speaker 8: do a show?
- 17:15Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, he'd be a good cast member.
- 17:17Speaker 4: But yeah, James Franco, he's sting his toes and like
- 17:24Speaker 4: little entertainment.
- 17:25Speaker 11: But he's doing like like super indie film. Still, I
- 17:27Speaker 11: don't think you think he's too serious.
- 17:29Speaker 8: Shila Maybe as it's done. I think I don't know.
- 17:33Speaker 8: He likes to do weird stuff.
- 17:35Speaker 4: How about Jesse Smollette whatever, these are just names getting
- 17:42Speaker 4: floating around. Jesse Smallette, it's Kathy Griffin, it's that level. Yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 4: he would do it, he would. Kevin Space is getting
- 17:50Speaker 4: work now though.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I think he does. Se Lo Green, Yes, what did
- 17:56Speaker 1: he do?
- 17:56Speaker 4: Yeah, he got canceled like Michael Richard's Kramer from Seinfeld
- 18:03Speaker 4: taking a treasure bath Lively No, no, famous Gina Carano.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Yes, yes she would. She was the one named Mandalorien.
- 18:14Speaker 8: Was it because she wouldn't get vaccinated?
- 18:16Speaker 11: Yeah, she made She was on the Mandalorian and made
- 18:19Speaker 11: some posts online that were claiming certain victimhoods and.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I forgot about that. And they also are floating
- 18:25Speaker 4: around the name Roseanne bar But I don't think she does.
- 18:29Speaker 8: Very entertaining crazy.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I think, yeah, she's doing like kil Tony and stuff.
- 18:33Speaker 1: He's on the latest Kilt.
- 18:34Speaker 4: See Bard back in the sad. All right, So boy
- 18:37Speaker 4: as a Star Wars dork, Kathleen Kennedy being gone, good thing,
- 18:40Speaker 4: bad thing, good thing. All right, I told you that
- 18:42Speaker 4: Dorks decided.
- 18:43Speaker 7: She's great as a producer, but president of Lucasfilm not great. Yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 7: I think Dave Filoni being in charge. He's the guy
- 18:49Speaker 7: that's really been making Star Wars popular with the Mandalorian.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It's a great thing. And there you go right from
- 18:54Speaker 1: the Dorks mountain.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Now, Yeah, birthday's portal birthday today, got show Siday.

- 20:06Speaker 11: don't believe him anything says a liar.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean if he doesn't punch me in the face,

- 21:05Speaker 4: birthdays and old Tuesday Morning, look of what's going on
- 21:07Speaker 4: in the world of entertainment.
- 21:10Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 21:12Speaker 4: All right, welcome back, everybuddy. It is Tuesday.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It is The Wooden Show.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Today, January twentieth is National Sebastian Day. You go, he
- 21:24Speaker 4: hates these holidays, but I bet you he likes that one.
- 21:27Speaker 1: This one's got the purpose behind it, at least, not
- 21:28Speaker 1: just on the made up garbage.
- 21:29Speaker 4: It's also about us. Today is Take a Walk Outdoors Day,
- 21:32Speaker 4: all right, I'm down, National DJ Day. It is at
- 21:36Speaker 4: International Day of Acceptance. It's cam quarter Day, National Cheese
- 21:39Speaker 4: Lover's Day. Oh yeah, all about that.
- 21:44Speaker 13: Hey.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Earlier in the hour we were talking about I was
- 21:46Speaker 4: excited about a couple of these different shows. One is
- 21:48Speaker 4: the Disturbed Limp Biscuit show that's happening in Ohio at
- 21:51Speaker 4: the Ohio State Reformatory, which is where they filmed The
- 21:53Speaker 4: Shawshank Redemption, which I think would be really cool to
- 21:57Speaker 4: see that place, and also I love to go see Limpit.
- 22:00Speaker 4: And then it was a Summer of ninety nine tour
- 22:02Speaker 4: in Tinley Park, Illinois that we were talking about with
- 22:04Speaker 4: and we went down a candlebox rabbit hole for but yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 4: that's one's like it's Cypress Hill, Limp Biscuit and a
- 22:12Speaker 4: bunch of other bands. Bush is on that bill, seven Dust,
- 22:16Speaker 4: Puddle of Mud, Hubastank. Anyway, this other tour that just
- 22:21Speaker 4: got announced, which I also think it would be cool,
- 22:24Speaker 4: Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. That's yeah, it's the freaks
- 22:28Speaker 4: on parade tour.
- 22:29Speaker 9: Because we've seen Marilyn Manson, we all saw together. I've
- 22:32Speaker 9: never seen Robson. Wait a minute, you've.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Never seen all these years, all the stations that you've
- 22:37Speaker 4: worked at. What about so not White Zombie or Robson?
- 22:42Speaker 1: You know what?
- 22:43Speaker 9: Maybe White Zombie really if and I would have to
- 22:46Speaker 9: just google this. I think White Zombie once did a
- 22:49Speaker 9: Lola Palooza. I'm not sure back when it went around. Yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 9: so I might have seen it, seen them name.
- 22:55Speaker 11: I saw him a few years ago, and he's he
- 22:58Speaker 11: was like remarkably interesting, Like he's still got a big
- 23:01Speaker 11: stage show, he's still very for his age, he's still
- 23:05Speaker 11: really into it.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I mean, I bored. You're a big rob Zombie fan.
- 23:07Speaker 7: I've seen him a bunch of times. I've seen him
- 23:09Speaker 7: a big festival, small venues. He's always probably like the
- 23:13Speaker 7: greatest live show you'll ever see. Oh damn Yeah, White
- 23:16Speaker 7: Zombie More Human than Human is one of those songs.
- 23:18Speaker 7: I don't care how many times I hear it. I
- 23:20Speaker 7: can listen to that a thousand times.
- 23:23Speaker 4: And Manson is good. Although the last time we saw
- 23:25Speaker 4: Manson it was truly because he had like a grilla in. Yeah,
- 23:32Speaker 4: so it was all this like saliva. It was like
- 23:34Speaker 4: it was, I mean, no exaggeration. I would say every
- 23:37Speaker 4: ten seconds he would spit.
- 23:38Speaker 8: I would say it's grotesque, but I think that's what
- 23:40Speaker 8: he's going for, right, and you.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Got turned on?
- 23:43Speaker 4: Oh very Yeah. I'm gonna go see uh def Leppard
- 23:46Speaker 4: in a few weeks, well, middle of February, Like I
- 23:50Speaker 4: think it's over Valentine's weekend. They're doing a show at
- 23:53Speaker 4: I told you Caesars in Vegas. Yeah, yeah, and going
- 23:56Speaker 4: with some friends. So that'll be fun for a guy
- 23:58Speaker 4: who's not a big concert guy. Well, I mean this
- 24:00Speaker 4: past weekend, well we were hosting that alter ego, but
- 24:04Speaker 4: that was that was a big Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I see you at that show. I see you at
- 24:07Speaker 1: the Caesar show.
- 24:07Speaker 11: I don't see you going out to the suburbs of
- 24:09Speaker 11: Ohio or to go to a festival.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Grounds, which is a whole ordeal.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Yeah we can we chopper in, you know. Okay, So
- 24:22Speaker 4: how far is Tiinley Park.
- 24:23Speaker 11: It's a south south the suburb of Chicago, so good,
- 24:25Speaker 11: half hour forty five minutes south of that's not that bad.
- 24:27Speaker 4: The southeast uber out there.
- 24:29Speaker 1: All right, And then he gets to the edge of
- 24:31Speaker 1: the venue. You gotta walk, Yeah, that walking?
- 24:33Speaker 14: Is that right?
- 24:34Speaker 4: Do they have they not heard of golf carts?
- 24:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:37Speaker 1: No, I get it, Yeah, don't drive it.
- 24:39Speaker 4: So is there is there a Is there a show
- 24:42Speaker 4: something like that, like an event like that that you
- 24:44Speaker 4: are excited to go see this year at the beginning
- 24:46Speaker 4: of the year, so look forward to Is there something
- 24:49Speaker 4: that's already on the on the calendar, whether you bought
- 24:52Speaker 4: tickets for you or not. Greg's kind of smirking because
- 24:55Speaker 4: of something that he's already embarrassed to admit.
- 24:57Speaker 9: No, there's nothing on the calendar, but knowing you to
- 25:00Speaker 9: want to actually go to two shows because you and
- 25:02Speaker 9: I are the same. There could be a band playing
- 25:04Speaker 9: in my backyard. I wouldn't go, you know.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Like that's how concerted the same out I am. Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 4: But I think part of it's the social thing. The
- 25:11Speaker 4: Shawshank prisons another.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Draw, especially if they let you like walk around just.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Just the lineup, and I think just the pure nostalgia
- 25:18Speaker 4: of the summer of ninety nine one and the fact
- 25:20Speaker 4: if we could do like a Woody show field trip
- 25:22Speaker 4: like where we give away some trips to go with us,
- 25:25Speaker 4: that could be that could be a lot of fun.
- 25:28Speaker 1: On the books this year. I have you know, next
- 25:31Speaker 1: weekend be mega jealous Ashley Simpson.
- 25:35Speaker 8: And it's a great show.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That's both weekends of Coachella and Stage Coach.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Okay, all right, actually Simpson, Yeah, yeah, what you making
- 25:49Speaker 4: a comeback?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Why are you going two weeks to Coachella and Stage
- 25:51Speaker 1: Because I have friends that go wee Can one and
- 25:53Speaker 1: have friends ago weekn.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Two Stage Coach is just one.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Usually like weekend one is just like you know, getting
- 25:59Speaker 1: like con him for like work, and then the weekend
- 26:01Speaker 1: two it's just like that's for him hanging out with
- 26:03Speaker 1: my friends. Yeah, you know how it is, Sea Bass,
- 26:05Speaker 1: you know, yeah, friends, this sounds sounds you know friends, right,
- 26:08Speaker 1: Sea Best.
- 26:09Speaker 2: This is Nony.
- 26:13Speaker 4: And into another new hour Insensitivity Training for a politically
- 26:17Speaker 4: correct World body, Greg Mans, Gina Graun, Sea Bass, I
- 26:21Speaker 4: got Sammy Morgan's here. Phones are open eight seven seven
- 26:24Speaker 4: forty four Wedding sent us a text over tow to
- 26:28Speaker 4: nine eight seven. We'll get to some of the trending
- 26:31Speaker 4: news headlines this hour. Also, we're gonna have to go
- 26:34Speaker 4: into another tie breaking week when it comes to the
- 26:38Speaker 4: picks between Damn dumbass Tyler and Gina with these NFL playoffs. Yeah,
- 26:44Speaker 4: they tied again.
- 26:45Speaker 8: So the person with the most knowledge and least knowledge
- 26:48Speaker 8: have the exact same score.
- 26:51Speaker 11: He also, I think are betting about about fifty to fifty,
- 26:53Speaker 11: which is no better than a coin.
- 26:55Speaker 4: I swept this week, by the way, Oh you did
- 26:57Speaker 4: real got I got four picks right last week. I
- 26:59Speaker 4: got all of them right this week.
- 27:01Speaker 8: How do you do that?
- 27:02Speaker 5: Well, you.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Know, here's the thing I got. I'm not saturating myself
- 27:06Speaker 4: with NonStop wall to wall you know, talking head people
- 27:09Speaker 4: that end up like changing whatever you think because you're like,
- 27:12Speaker 4: you know, you can be easily swayed. Yeah, we start
- 27:14Speaker 4: hearing these because they all want to have the hot take.
- 27:16Speaker 4: They all want to have like baky down where they
- 27:18Speaker 4: seem like they want to come off Yeah, exactly as
- 27:20Speaker 4: a genius, big prediction whatever, and also don't know nothing either.
- 27:23Speaker 8: Well, this last week we had to do was pick
- 27:26Speaker 8: the favorites.
- 27:27Speaker 1: So literally, yeah, and I told Tyler he's an idiot
- 27:30Speaker 1: for picking Houston because he's just being a homer because
- 27:33Speaker 1: he lived in Houston.
- 27:35Speaker 15: I'm sorry that I thought the defense was good, and
- 27:37Speaker 15: I'm sorry I just don't pick off vibes and sunny shine, sunshine, rainbows.
- 27:41Speaker 1: And hell, that wasn't it. He didn't win, so good
- 27:44Speaker 1: for you.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Yeah, but man, it sucks for the Broncos. Man bow
- 27:48Speaker 4: Nicks hurts himself on a essentially a kneel down, so
- 27:52Speaker 4: he's out. So the starting quarterback for the Denver Bronco
- 27:55Speaker 4: on a they were trying to line up for the
- 27:57Speaker 4: field goal. So it was just one of those like
- 27:59Speaker 4: snap the ball, move like you know, a couple a
- 28:01Speaker 4: couple of steps in one direction to line your kicker up,
- 28:04Speaker 4: and he broke his foot. Need surgery And was that.
- 28:06Speaker 1: What he did?
- 28:06Speaker 4: I saw a bunch of different reports that like, oh
- 28:08Speaker 4: it was actually on this play, well all the stuff
- 28:11Speaker 4: that I saw unless that changed, But the last time
- 28:13Speaker 4: I saw was that was basically a kneel down just
- 28:16Speaker 4: to get the kicker lined up. That sucks.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Somebody said, oh man, this is the this is a
- 28:21Speaker 4: chance for Tom Brady to come in and do the
- 28:24Speaker 4: most tom Brady thing ever. Oh and just like come
- 28:26Speaker 4: out of retirement to quarterback the Broncos against the Patriots
- 28:31Speaker 4: in the AFC Championship Game.
- 28:33Speaker 8: Would be funny.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You would have a better chance of winning.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Seahawks destroyed the Niners, which he had to know
- 28:38Speaker 4: was gonna happen. And and they're gonna they're gonna take
- 28:41Speaker 4: on the Rams, who broke the hearts of the Bears,
- 28:43Speaker 4: which I thought was great. I enjoyed watching that. I
- 28:48Speaker 4: so much Shoden Freud.
- 28:49Speaker 11: So again you have to explain to folks, why do
- 28:51Speaker 11: you hate the Bears because of Caleb Williams.
- 28:53Speaker 4: I hate Caleb Willms. He has all the a whole
- 28:54Speaker 4: energy of Lebron James.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Oh, all of it.
- 28:57Speaker 4: He delivered almost look's was that was? That was such
- 29:01Speaker 4: a like a Madden pass, I mean sixty yards plus
- 29:04Speaker 4: this year? You do that in a video game? Yeah,
- 29:06Speaker 4: Like as he's going backwards like a fade away, it's
- 29:09Speaker 4: fifteen people in his face. Yeah, and that is why
- 29:12Speaker 4: you know, dude, you got to have the Pope as
- 29:14Speaker 4: your number one fan. The Pope is from Chicago, right.
- 29:16Speaker 1: The Pope comes the Pope this year the Bears of
- 29:18Speaker 1: the season.
- 29:18Speaker 4: They had coincidence.
- 29:20Speaker 11: Yes, but Caleb Williams big Catholic, but still like.
- 29:26Speaker 4: What a what like what a crazy tournament events? You're
- 29:29Speaker 4: watching this, You're like, all right, this is and then
- 29:30Speaker 4: you see him scrambling the way, he was just running
- 29:33Speaker 4: backwards for like thirty yards. They're like okay, and then
- 29:36Speaker 4: you're like, you gotta be kidding me, because they've been
- 29:38Speaker 4: doing this the entire season. The Bears have been pulling
- 29:41Speaker 4: those things out of their ass all year long.
- 29:43Speaker 8: So you think if they won, if they went all
- 29:45Speaker 8: the way, it would be kind of undeserved.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I think it was undeserved. It just seems it seems
- 29:49Speaker 4: real lucky. Like it just seems like like every once
- 29:51Speaker 4: in a while, like you get a doink or you
- 29:53Speaker 4: get the proper you know bounce, you know that just
- 29:56Speaker 4: goes your way. But it seems like that's been the
- 29:58Speaker 4: way it is all season long.
- 29:59Speaker 1: And I have nothing.
- 30:00Speaker 4: I have nothing against the coach or any of their players.
- 30:04Speaker 4: I simply hate Williams and so I root against him.
- 30:08Speaker 4: I think a lot a lot of people have that, like,
- 30:09Speaker 4: but there's somebody there, there's a player on the team,
- 30:11Speaker 4: especially when they're the quarterback, when they're the main the
- 30:15Speaker 4: face of the organization.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Like I hate that.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Dude so much.
- 30:19Speaker 1: I hate him. I have a kind of funny story,
- 30:22Speaker 1: so when that game was on, I was at like
- 30:24Speaker 1: this crab place like you know where they Yeah, you
- 30:27Speaker 1: can you get a bag of crab whatever. But I'm
- 30:29Speaker 1: in the in the waiting area, and all the other
- 30:33Speaker 1: screens around the restaurant are playing the game, but in
- 30:36Speaker 1: the waiting area they're playing female college basketball on the screen. Right,
- 30:42Speaker 1: And a dad comes in and he's with like a
- 30:44Speaker 1: female lacrosse team, and he's complaining about the female basketball
- 30:50Speaker 1: game on this boring yeah, on the screen in the lobby.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Versus the game in front of Okay, so it's how
- 30:57Speaker 4: he was trying to get all the TVs switched over
- 30:59Speaker 4: to Chickhoo.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm like, it's like chicksports while you're with a lacrosse team.
- 31:07Speaker 1: They need to know that there's no future in that.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Well, now we got the AFC NFC championship matchups going
- 31:12Speaker 4: on this weekend, followed by like an off week of
- 31:15Speaker 4: bye week leading up to Super Bowl sixty that is
- 31:18Speaker 4: on February eighth at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
- 31:22Speaker 14: Uh.
- 31:22Speaker 4: They announced that Green Day, who are from the Bay Area,
- 31:24Speaker 4: they're going to be playing the opening ceremony. The league
- 31:28Speaker 4: does a tribute to the MVPs over the last sixty years,
- 31:31Speaker 4: and you got Charlie Pooth, who's going to do the
- 31:33Speaker 4: national Anthem. Brandy Carlisle is going to sing America the
- 31:36Speaker 4: Beautiful and let all the lit all the speculation, side
- 31:40Speaker 4: wagers and what color the gatorade, let all that begin.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm down. No, this pregame thing is actually in the stadium, right.
- 31:50Speaker 1: What's that this pregame thing about it?
- 31:52Speaker 4: Yeah, because it's it's with the National Anthem and America.
- 31:55Speaker 4: They're going to do a big thing where they march
- 31:57Speaker 4: out all these.
- 31:57Speaker 1: M vps from the past sixty years and then Greendale
- 32:01Speaker 1: soundtrack for doing all right. I didn't understand how that worked.
- 32:06Speaker 11: Yeah, so kind of ironic to have Green Day playing
- 32:08Speaker 11: when they had that giant American flag stretch out across
- 32:10Speaker 11: the on account they hate America and don't live there,
- 32:14Speaker 11: they have said so explicitly.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, why are you still here?
- 32:17Speaker 4: We'll get some of the other trending news headlines coming
- 32:19Speaker 4: up for you this hour, and then next we have
- 32:23Speaker 4: go fund yourself. No, we talked about this last week
- 32:26Speaker 4: and I forgot about this completely. You know, these people
- 32:28Speaker 4: set these gofundmes up all the time for different people,
- 32:31Speaker 4: and some of them are very heartwarming.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Some of my house burned down.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Yeah, very very nice. Others just set these things up
- 32:38Speaker 4: and these are real, by the way, none of none
- 32:40Speaker 4: of what you're gonna hear is made up.
- 32:41Speaker 1: You can find these and donate yourself.
- 32:43Speaker 4: You can if you are so moved by what you
- 32:46Speaker 4: hear that you're like, oh that might happen like that,
- 32:48Speaker 4: you feel like you want to take your hard earned
- 32:50Speaker 4: money and you want to throw it at one of
- 32:52Speaker 4: these go fundmes, And we're calling it go fund yourself.
- 32:54Speaker 4: It's a little game that Sea Bass has found some
- 32:57Speaker 4: of these real gofundmes. He'll tell us about them. Then
- 32:59Speaker 4: we have to try to guess how much money they've
- 33:02Speaker 4: actually raised so far and if we're fully fund their campaign.
- 33:06Speaker 8: Yes we have.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Ah, that's next on the Woody Show.
- 33:09Speaker 16: Barwoody Show Bar, Whaty Show.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Show? Next?
- 33:21Speaker 4: My cancer?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Do you feel each individual?
- 33:25Speaker 4: Pump? Pump pump? All right, So we told you we're
- 33:29Speaker 4: gonna have all the details about this first official Woody
- 33:32Speaker 4: Show event. Yes, yep, and uh it's gonna be an
- 33:36Speaker 4: Anaheim on Saturday February twenty first, at a place called
- 33:41Speaker 4: Brewery X.
- 33:42Speaker 1: I know that place.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Yeah, Saturday February twenty first at Brewery X in Anaheim.
- 33:48Speaker 4: It's gonna be from officially three to five pm. It
- 33:52Speaker 4: could bleed a little bit, like we're sure, but three
- 33:56Speaker 4: to five is the official window. And this is like
- 33:58Speaker 4: just a come on out hang out and uh, you know,
- 34:01Speaker 4: we're gonna have some prize and stuff to give away.
- 34:04Speaker 4: I think Half Baked is going to join us. We're
- 34:08Speaker 4: just bringing all our friends. We're just we're just bringing
- 34:11Speaker 4: on and I'm also working on I'm working on something else,
- 34:13Speaker 4: which I think would be really cool if it comes
- 34:16Speaker 4: together as far as entertainment got. But it's it's it's free.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Show.
- 34:24Speaker 4: So we're gonna play a little game here called go
- 34:26Speaker 4: fund Yourself. It seems like everybody's got their hand out.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Some of it's legit.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Every once in a while, they they have one up
- 34:34Speaker 4: there that's you know where maybe it's somebody. Well, there
- 34:37Speaker 4: was a guy that worked here at the at the
- 34:39Speaker 4: radio station for our sister station. We got into a
- 34:42Speaker 4: really bad car accident, like fiery, like amazing, Yeah, and
- 34:50Speaker 4: I ended up having a bunch of different were you laughing?
- 34:54Speaker 4: He's my friend, I can.
- 34:56Speaker 1: That's true, I think, Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Mortgat used to work directly with him. Yeah, Well, the
- 35:00Speaker 4: thing is, he's doing fine now, but like you had
- 35:02Speaker 4: to have a bunch of surgeries and sucks.
- 35:04Speaker 1: He's back now.
- 35:05Speaker 11: So people see those and they think, oh, well, this
- 35:09Speaker 11: person's got a bunch of money. Maybe I can do
- 35:11Speaker 11: that too, with a perhaps lesser of a noble cost.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 4: You hear like every once in a while somebody goes
- 35:16Speaker 4: into the home depot and there's an older guy who
- 35:18Speaker 4: used to work and wherever, and the guy lost his
- 35:20Speaker 4: pension recently, right, And the next thing you know, there's
- 35:23Speaker 4: two million.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Bucks for him.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Oh pretty cool. Yeah, People like, huh, you know, I
- 35:28Speaker 4: want something really stupid, but I don't want.
- 35:29Speaker 1: To pay for it.
- 35:30Speaker 4: I'll just put a GoFundMe up here. And that's what
- 35:32Speaker 4: Sea Bass has. These are real gofundmes. You can find them,
- 35:35Speaker 4: you can see them, and if you're so moved, you
- 35:36Speaker 4: can actually make a donation toward them. But we're gonna
- 35:39Speaker 4: try to guess after we hear what it's all about.
- 35:40Speaker 4: How much each campaign has raised so far. So Ashley as.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Our first one.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Here.
- 35:45Speaker 11: She is seeking eight thousand dollars two helps help Anna

- 36:08Speaker 11: best friend. And she's been dreaming about seeing Bad Bunny
- 36:11Speaker 11: for as long as I can remember. I guess her
- 36:13Speaker 11: memory goes back about five or six years. His music
- 36:18Speaker 11: and art have inspired her in so many ways, and
- 36:20Speaker 11: she talks about him with.
- 36:21Speaker 1: So much passion and excitement.
- 36:23Speaker 11: The super Bowl this year is extra special because it's
- 36:25Speaker 11: her chance to finally see him perform live.
- 36:27Speaker 8: Oh it has to be there.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I mean I could not gone to the two month
- 36:32Speaker 1: residency in Puerto Rico. Wad Maybe she's only been a
- 36:36Speaker 1: fan for two months. Yeah, and while she's there, she
- 36:40Speaker 1: might even meet him in person.
- 36:44Speaker 8: He's getting nas you know, pluck her out of the crowd.
- 36:48Speaker 11: Every dollar raise will go directly towards getting Anna to
- 36:52Speaker 11: the super Bowl. Okay, good, there's no fluff here and
- 36:54Speaker 11: taking off the top. This will cover tickets, travel, and accommodations.
- 36:59Speaker 11: Oh really, kidder, all right, thank you for making the.
- 37:03Speaker 1: For making America great again?
- 37:05Speaker 5: What what?

- 37:17Speaker 4: the campaign been?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Two months? Two months? Okay? Okay?
- 37:20Speaker 11: So of the eight thousand dollars has she raised ten
- 37:24Speaker 11: dollars one hundred dollars or one thousand dollars?
- 37:28Speaker 1: Okay? Is there a picture of the friend on there?
- 37:31Speaker 1: There is uh kind of shut.
- 37:34Speaker 4: I'll have We'll have Morgan do this one on scale
- 37:35Speaker 4: one to ten. More than you love actually.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Took this out here.
- 37:41Speaker 11: Women, there's a photoshops picture of the friend with bad bunny.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Oh, she's kind of a she's in like a red dress, got.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Pass it around, big boobs.
- 37:52Speaker 8: Got a little bandana on straight intuition, big lips.
- 37:57Speaker 13: Six.
- 37:58Speaker 11: Okay, you can tell I always look for this is
- 38:00Speaker 11: a dating profile tip for guys above average. Yeah, but
- 38:03Speaker 11: she's got you look at the arms and the shoulders.
- 38:04Speaker 11: If there's a little uh you said it, a little
- 38:07Speaker 11: left there?
- 38:08Speaker 1: What do you say?
- 38:09Speaker 4: So it's how much?
- 38:10Speaker 11: So she's looking ten dollars one hundred dollars or one
- 38:13Speaker 11: thousand dollars?
- 38:14Speaker 8: Yeah, same, one hundred, one hundred.
- 38:16Speaker 1: They spiked the tip jar or maybe the coworkers.
- 38:19Speaker 8: Oh Anna, it'll be such a good I'll never hear
- 38:22Speaker 8: the end of it if I don't.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Either way, she's almost there and she really does love.
- 38:27Speaker 8: Yeah, she's lodging in a comedy.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Let's go with a hundred.
- 38:31Speaker 4: I'm going crazy.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna say a thousand.
- 38:33Speaker 8: She has like a rich relative.
- 38:35Speaker 1: You're so high, I'm going one hundred hundred. Guys, I
- 38:39Speaker 1: hate to say this.
- 38:40Speaker 8: She's only got ten dollars.
- 38:44Speaker 1: We need to hurry off.
- 38:46Speaker 8: She's expected her life in so many ways.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the only time she could have seen
- 38:50Speaker 1: him ever.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Is the is the initial ten dollars you said like
- 38:54Speaker 4: the friend?
- 38:55Speaker 1: Right?
- 38:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I used to get I used to put my
- 38:58Speaker 8: own tips into show people.
- 38:59Speaker 11: Hey, come on, I'll say this. It is is not
- 39:02Speaker 11: Ashley or her friend Anna or herself. It is some
- 39:04Speaker 11: girl in lindsay to just throw away ten dollars, go
- 39:10Speaker 11: fund yourself. All right, this is an interesting one. This
- 39:13Speaker 11: man is looking for four thousand dollars to help Trey
- 39:18Speaker 11: build life changing healing devices. Okay, now this is put
- 39:23Speaker 11: up by Trey himself, which is typically a bad idea.
- 39:26Speaker 11: You want to look like someone else found you and
- 39:28Speaker 11: he's doing this for you.
- 39:30Speaker 1: He's got a picture of.
- 39:33Speaker 4: About four sticks, like built in a pyramid and there's
- 39:36Speaker 4: like a crystal dangling in the middle of them.
- 39:37Speaker 1: This is perfect. It's opening and there's like half a
- 39:41Speaker 1: lemon below it. Okay, okay, so hello.
- 39:44Speaker 11: My name is Trey, and I'm on a new career path.
- 39:46Speaker 11: I'm trying to raise funds for materials to build healing
- 39:48Speaker 11: devices and I want to be so I can construct
- 39:50Speaker 11: them and sell them at a fair price.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Construct them. This sticks from the yard.
- 39:55Speaker 8: Hold on, Greg, This might seem like a hobby to you.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Yeah it does.
- 39:58Speaker 11: But we are in a new age of healing the mind, body,
- 40:00Speaker 11: and soul, and he's going to be on the forefront
- 40:03Speaker 11: and he's gonna make these devices again so they can
- 40:05Speaker 11: be affordable for all that.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Not profits sneaking.
- 40:10Speaker 8: He's gonna break even.
- 40:10Speaker 11: As My plan has to build some sound healing pyramid
- 40:13Speaker 11: healing structures and crystal light healing stations.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Crystal light delicious.
- 40:18Speaker 11: By the way, this gym I go to has like
- 40:20Speaker 11: like Sunday Nights at eight has like a sound healing bat.
- 40:26Speaker 4: You did that, Yeah it was cool.
- 40:28Speaker 8: Yeah, some white women in their thirties Jesus Christ.
- 40:32Speaker 1: But it was all dirty hippie.
- 40:33Speaker 11: So he needs this four thousand dollars. He has the
- 40:34Speaker 11: materials list here. He needs a copper pipe, healing crystals, sure,
- 40:39Speaker 11: not just regular crystals, therapy beds, trans transducers, frequency modules.
- 40:44Speaker 11: I won't think he knows what any of these things are.
- 40:45Speaker 11: I gotta look up transduce, plywood screws, and speaker wire.
- 40:48Speaker 11: Oh yeah, the picture is eleven on it for somemer.
- 40:52Speaker 11: It's just in somebody's kitchen, Okay, all right?
- 40:54Speaker 1: So about how big are these things?
- 40:56Speaker 4: It looks like it's maybe eighteen inches top to bottom.
- 40:58Speaker 4: It's like like two pyramids on top of each other.
- 41:01Speaker 8: This is i'd table.
- 41:02Speaker 11: I was at a Grateful Dead show a while back,
- 41:04Speaker 11: and there was some guy who had these things and
- 41:06Speaker 11: he was mentally ill.
- 41:07Speaker 4: Okay, that's these type of people, all right. So he's
- 41:13Speaker 4: looking for four thousand dollars for some copper wire and
- 41:15Speaker 4: some string.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Has Trey.
- 41:18Speaker 11: So far raised twenty dollars, two hundred dollars or two
- 41:21Speaker 11: thousand dollars Zero dollars is not option.
- 41:25Speaker 8: Zero on this one, because here's the thing. There are
- 41:27Speaker 8: people who very much believe in him and want him
- 41:30Speaker 8: to make his little healing.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Which is nice.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Why I'm going with the top dollar amount.
- 41:34Speaker 8: Wow, because he did say he's doing this not for him, so.
- 41:37Speaker 4: He can then help you make the world a better place.
- 41:40Speaker 4: It's that every loser says, I would love to get
- 41:42Speaker 4: this guy in shark tank.
- 41:43Speaker 1: What so twenty two hundred or two thousand right.
- 41:45Speaker 8: Of his four thousand that he needs going two hundred.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Yeah, two hundred stuff.
- 41:49Speaker 8: I found it in Alley's when I was a kid.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going twenty. I think twenty as well.
- 41:53Speaker 11: Twenty guys, I will say this good news for you
- 41:57Speaker 11: that it's twenty dollars, bad news for Trey.
- 42:00Speaker 4: He's far away from the world at this rate. I
- 42:05Speaker 4: thought for sure, like once you mentioned that, because you're right,
- 42:07Speaker 4: there are so many people who are into this focus
- 42:10Speaker 4: pocus stuff. This is breaking adjacent in that garbage.
- 42:14Speaker 12: Still need to have enough friends to even see this
- 42:17Speaker 12: to end up donating, and I don't picture.
- 42:19Speaker 4: It typically takes from Yeah. One one mentioned some message
- 42:22Speaker 4: board with all these weirdos who do that kind.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Of Sure, there's a community.
- 42:26Speaker 8: Twenty dollars is from anonymous.
- 42:28Speaker 1: What do they call it?
- 42:30Speaker 4: When people have a product and you basically buy it
- 42:33Speaker 4: before it's manufacturer? What's that called?
- 42:35Speaker 17: That's capitalize now there's like a Now there's like a
- 42:40Speaker 17: seed money Nope, Alpha ship to order, order to ship
- 42:45Speaker 17: or something like that.
- 42:46Speaker 4: There is a there's like a website or whatever. It's
- 42:49Speaker 4: mouth like you have go fundmes, but there's something for
- 42:51Speaker 4: products in you Kickstarter, kickstart.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Sweating. I don't think Starter is.
- 43:00Speaker 11: Yeah, they're pretty highly monitored because there's a lot of
- 43:02Speaker 11: scammers want to be scammers on these and they probably
- 43:04Speaker 11: kicked this guy off.
- 43:05Speaker 1: But you could put this pyramid underneath your dream catcher
- 43:08Speaker 1: because it would.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Look at So let's get that one more for this
- 43:11Speaker 4: round of Go fund yourself.
- 43:13Speaker 11: All right, let's go back to the concert space here
- 43:16Speaker 11: and uh, this is from Christina limitless donations.
- 43:20Speaker 8: She didn't put a cap on this one.
- 43:22Speaker 12: Girl.
- 43:22Speaker 11: Yeah, she wants a chance to thank Chris Brown in person.
- 43:28Speaker 11: If you call this you just had the Breezy Bowl tour. Yep,
- 43:31Speaker 11: rip he did. And she even starts, I know this
- 43:36Speaker 11: is I was hoping to get hit. So she gets
- 43:37Speaker 11: paid out exactly. I know this is a platform and
- 43:39Speaker 11: meant for the ones in need, but I want to
- 43:41Speaker 11: try it for a dream.
- 43:42Speaker 1: She said.
- 43:43Speaker 11: She went to go and meet Chris Brown recently. She
- 43:45Speaker 11: got she put on her four inch heels, making her
- 43:47Speaker 11: Morgan six six foot five.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Damn wow.
- 43:51Speaker 11: She went to go see him by the stage in Atlanta,
- 43:54Speaker 11: So she's already seen Chris Brown.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Have you seen these mean Greek photos that come out
- 43:57Speaker 1: of this Too, Yes?
- 43:58Speaker 16: I have.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Oh They're insane, yeah, like choking woman the photo. And
- 44:04Speaker 1: I think they pay like a thousand dollars. Yeah, and
- 44:05Speaker 1: they pay a lot of money.
- 44:06Speaker 11: I was okay, So I was seeing Chris Brown. It's
- 44:08Speaker 11: hard to read this because it's so poorly written.
- 44:10Speaker 18: Uh.
- 44:10Speaker 11: And at one point he and I locked our eyes
- 44:13Speaker 11: for a total of seven minutes. He stops the show
- 44:18Speaker 11: down the stair at somebody tall. Right, Yeah, maybe maybe
- 44:22Speaker 11: that's true. Jesus, I drank huge. I drank for three weeks.

- 45:00Speaker 4: I tried every which way to get a message to
- 45:01Speaker 4: Chris Brown, but no luck.
- 45:02Speaker 11: I'm gonna try to do this again in person. So
- 45:04Speaker 11: I guess she feels like if she goes again, Chris
- 45:07Speaker 11: will be like, oh that's at huge guys from before.
- 45:09Speaker 8: Yeah, they're not going to surround her with security and right.

- 46:30Speaker 4: Where's Michael Irvan? Where's he is? He got his belt
- 46:33Speaker 4: out and whipping on a gatorade jug with the other
- 46:37Speaker 4: team's jersey on it. Did you see any of that
- 46:39Speaker 4: going on there? Dumbass Tyler hes been doing that with
- 46:41Speaker 4: all the other victories that Miami's had. It is kind
- 46:44Speaker 4: of weird like that, like that whole thing that he's
- 46:47Speaker 4: got going with that, Like whipping the gatorade.
- 46:50Speaker 8: Sounds very fetishy.
- 46:51Speaker 15: I mean it might, and it's got an odd energy too.
- 46:54Speaker 15: I think it's safe to say that there might be
- 46:56Speaker 15: a little white substance involved in that too.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Wow sugar.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:02Speaker 8: Well, what makes it even crazier is that just two
- 47:04Speaker 8: years ago Indiana was coming off a three and nine
- 47:07Speaker 8: season and was considered the worst program in college football.
- 47:10Speaker 8: And now under Kurt Signetti.
- 47:13Speaker 4: So you just got to bring a Pittsburgh guy in there.
- 47:15Speaker 8: You go turned QB Fernanda Mendoza into a Heisman winner.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Turn it around in the schools first, do what now
- 47:21Speaker 1: he'll turn it around?
- 47:23Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 47:23Speaker 8: Meanwhile, there are a bunch of NFL teams trying to
- 47:26Speaker 8: figure out who's going to be their next head coach.
- 47:29Speaker 8: A few have it sorted out, though, like the New
- 47:31Speaker 8: York Giants who hired former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.
- 47:34Speaker 8: Tennessee Titans are hiring Robert Sala, and the dolphinscrab Jeff Haffley,
- 47:39Speaker 8: and the Atlanta Falcons have hired some former the former
- 47:42Speaker 8: Brown's head coach Kevin Stefanski. The newest job to open
- 47:46Speaker 8: up is one for the Bills. They fired Sean McDermott
- 47:48Speaker 8: after their loss to the Broncos.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Do you know what name I haven't heard in a while?
- 47:52Speaker 1: Is that Coach Prime? Where's he at?
- 47:55Speaker 4: Coach Prime? He's still coaching?
- 47:56Speaker 11: Well, he felt well, he fell after his kids or
- 47:59Speaker 11: kids left after kids, I supose Chador. Yeah, and they
- 48:02Speaker 11: got with their numbers, retired after as Shane Gillis put it,
- 48:05Speaker 11: like basically a five couple, five hundred seasons.
- 48:08Speaker 1: It turned out that was all hype and they actually
- 48:11Speaker 1: did weren't that good of a team?
- 48:12Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 48:12Speaker 4: And coach Prime too, he's had some health issues going on,
- 48:16Speaker 4: and you know, he's a character, I don't know how
- 48:19Speaker 4: great of a coach.
- 48:19Speaker 11: Sure, that was all good for about six games. We
- 48:22Speaker 11: were like, yeah, that's enough of that, right for a minute.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:25Speaker 12: Well.
- 48:26Speaker 8: At least forty people have died and more than one
- 48:28Speaker 8: hundred and twenty have been heard after a high speed
- 48:30Speaker 8: train crashed in Spain. One train was heading toward Madrid, derailed,
- 48:34Speaker 8: crossed onto the other tracks, slammed into another train. Officials
- 48:38Speaker 8: say the death toll could get higher since they're looking
- 48:40Speaker 8: for at least three people who are still trapped. Rescue
- 48:42Speaker 8: crews spent hours pulling passengers out and more than one
- 48:45Speaker 8: hundred went to the hospital. Most have been released, but
- 48:48Speaker 8: dozen still being treated. And what investigators are really confused about.
- 48:51Speaker 8: This train was pretty new and the tracks had just
- 48:54Speaker 8: been renovated like less than a year ago, so they
- 48:56Speaker 8: do not know what caused it. And in just two
- 48:59Speaker 8: days there were four separate shark attacks off the coast
- 49:02Speaker 8: of Sydney, Australia. He heard about that, and one left
- 49:05Speaker 8: a guy and a boy critically injured. So it started
- 49:07Speaker 8: Saturday night when a boy jumped into the water from
- 49:09Speaker 8: a ledge and was immediately attacked. He's in critical condition
- 49:13Speaker 8: and lost both of his legs. Then on Monday afternoon,
- 49:16Speaker 8: another boy was targeted, but the shark only bit his
- 49:19Speaker 8: surfboard he got away. Later Monday night, a surfer was
- 49:22Speaker 8: bitten on the leg and rushed to the hospital in
- 49:24Speaker 8: critical condition, and then a fourth surfer.
- 49:27Speaker 4: People still in the water after the first sh shut
- 49:30Speaker 4: the beach down. Well they all the signs, yeah, yeah,
- 49:33Speaker 4: she wrote it and hammers all the signs in the beach.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Then the mayor says, no, keep.
- 49:42Speaker 8: It up, but for the holidays exactly. Well, now all
- 49:45Speaker 8: the Sydney's Northern beaches are closed until further notice.
- 49:48Speaker 4: You would think that for the first one, like they
- 49:49Speaker 4: would least say, hey man, there was a shark attack,
- 49:52Speaker 4: like just.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Kept for it.
- 49:55Speaker 9: When I was in Sydney, they had this one portion
- 49:58Speaker 9: of Bondai Beach was like the famous beach that had
- 50:01Speaker 9: chain link fence basically like a shark cage thing that
- 50:05Speaker 9: jutted out into the water, then went across and then back,
- 50:07Speaker 9: so you could kind of stand in there knowing you'd
- 50:09Speaker 9: be saying, oh, I just went up to my knees
- 50:11Speaker 9: and that was about it. Sharks, Yeah, they could jump right.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Over like a dolphin.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Yeah, there is a term jump the sharks.
- 50:18Speaker 8: Yeah, that's what that means. That's where that comes from.
- 50:21Speaker 4: From sharks jumping over fence.
- 50:22Speaker 8: That's exactly what that is. Well, there's this new development
- 50:25Speaker 8: in the arrest of actor Timothy Bussfield. You know we've
- 50:28Speaker 8: been talking about him, just to recap. He was accused
- 50:30Speaker 8: of inappropriately touching some boys on the set of the
- 50:32Speaker 8: show The Cleaning Lady, and he was arrested last week. Well, now,
- 50:36Speaker 8: according to some audio, the miners were interviewed by police
- 50:39Speaker 8: in twenty twenty four and they said they were never
- 50:41Speaker 8: touched in their private areas. Sea Bass this for you.
- 50:45Speaker 8: It's worth noting that the criminal complaint says that the
- 50:48Speaker 8: boys only revealed inappropriate contact after they did some therapy sessions.
- 50:53Speaker 4: Thank you, well this was I mean, look does say so?
- 50:56Speaker 4: Wait so the audio of them saying this from.
- 51:00Speaker 8: It wasn't until over a year after.
- 51:02Speaker 4: But I'm saying, help me understand the timeline. So he
- 51:05Speaker 4: worked with these kids how long ago?
- 51:08Speaker 8: Years ago?
- 51:08Speaker 4: Okay, And at the time that's when they made these
- 51:11Speaker 4: comments to the cops about that he didn't touch me.
- 51:14Speaker 8: It sounds like this was done later they went to
- 51:17Speaker 8: therapy and then so, yes, they were interviewed, they said no,
- 51:21Speaker 8: then they went to therapy. Might have changed their tune.
- 51:24Speaker 11: Well, because these therapists are designed to find bad things,
- 51:27Speaker 11: and if they can't find them, they'll create them. This
- 51:29Speaker 11: and that's that's not just me speculating. There were a
- 51:32Speaker 11: rash of these in the nineties where kids or went
- 51:35Speaker 11: back when therapy was kind of like getting mainstream. It's like, oh,
- 51:38Speaker 11: everyone needs to go to therapy. Well, it's all these
- 51:40Speaker 11: kids of therapy, and the therapists suddenly found all these
- 51:42Speaker 11: this child abuse that never existed, wasn't, but it ruined
- 51:45Speaker 11: people's lives.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Isn't that under the umbrella of like repressed memory, Yeah, exactly.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Which is therapist because they think that they're like, oh,
- 51:52Speaker 4: I'm such a good therapist. I can find out what's
- 51:54Speaker 4: wrong with you, and something's wrong with you. And now
- 51:57Speaker 4: it's so it's in style to be be able to
- 52:00Speaker 4: say that you're a victim of something.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Sort of trauma.
- 52:02Speaker 4: Yeah, we got suffer from whatever the condition is, or
- 52:05Speaker 4: like I have, I'm a victim.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Of its trauma.
- 52:07Speaker 5: Right.
- 52:08Speaker 1: It's funny.
- 52:09Speaker 11: I was talking to a therapist that actually a psychologist
- 52:11Speaker 11: has been doing it for like forty years, and she said,
- 52:12Speaker 11: I remember forty years ago when I told people I
- 52:14Speaker 11: was a psychologist, they would run away from me because
- 52:16Speaker 11: they didn't want me to picking their brain. Now they
- 52:18Speaker 11: run toward me. They they want because it's become such
- 52:21Speaker 11: the in thing to do, and everyone wants to find
- 52:23Speaker 11: their trauma and be a victim somehow. That she's like,
- 52:26Speaker 11: she doesn't tell people anymore because everybody tries to pick
- 52:28Speaker 11: her up.
- 52:28Speaker 8: And that's the thing. That's what I agree with you, Sevass,
- 52:31Speaker 8: And that's why I'm always confused about how you feel
- 52:33Speaker 8: about therapy, because that has been so beyond opposite of
- 52:37Speaker 8: my experience. Like I went to therapy to untangle this crap,
- 52:39Speaker 8: to get on with my life, not to have a
- 52:42Speaker 8: label and a flagg to wave around. That's what I'm
- 52:44Speaker 8: so confused about it. You might have just you might
- 52:45Speaker 8: have just been able to work it out yourself, your
- 52:47Speaker 8: on it. No, I wasn't twenty years trying to work
- 52:50Speaker 8: it out myself.
- 52:51Speaker 4: Couldn't just have like brunch with your girlfriends?
- 52:53Speaker 1: Yeah, helpful?
- 52:57Speaker 8: Well, fashion designer legend Valentino Garavan he passed away at
- 53:01Speaker 8: ninety three am.
- 53:01Speaker 4: I the only person who had never heard of this person.
- 53:04Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, just the name Valentino, last name you No, No,
- 53:10Speaker 6: I really had Valentino and I tooke me up to
- 53:14Speaker 6: a lot of textor whatever.
- 53:15Speaker 4: I had never heard this name before my life.
- 53:19Speaker 1: So it was totally so crazy because right when the
- 53:22Speaker 1: news broke, I texted him because Sammy and I, like
- 53:25Speaker 1: ten hours earlier, we're talking about Valentine.
- 53:28Speaker 8: We were just talking about it, and then the news
- 53:30Speaker 8: broke with.
- 53:31Speaker 1: My friends like you killed him. It was weird.
- 53:35Speaker 8: Just to give you Whatddy who doesn't know a little
- 53:37Speaker 8: background he founded Valentino the brand in nineteen sixty our.
- 53:41Speaker 8: His breakthrough came in nineteen sixty eight when he designed
- 53:43Speaker 8: Jackie Kennedy's wedding dress for her marriage to ARISTOTLEO NASA's
- 53:47Speaker 8: ah and then keep that holstered, because then he went
- 53:51Speaker 8: on to dress stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Oh, Princess Diana, Audrey,
- 53:57Speaker 8: hepburn Oprah Meryl Street, Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, tons more.
- 54:02Speaker 8: He died in his home in Italy and leaves behind
- 54:05Speaker 8: a huge legacy. Is what he can tell you. That
- 54:07Speaker 8: shape modern God, there is kind of good.
- 54:09Speaker 4: The Devil's Wear product now devil Wears product. I've never
- 54:13Speaker 4: watched that.
- 54:14Speaker 8: It's amazing.
- 54:15Speaker 4: I just it's nothing of the whole. I've heard of
- 54:19Speaker 4: Gucci and the things like that, but it's right next
- 54:22Speaker 4: to Gucci.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's adjacent. Yeah. And I saw his photo. You think, oh,
- 54:27Speaker 1: I'm right. He looks familiar.
- 54:28Speaker 8: He looks like every old guy who got too much plastics. Yeah,
- 54:31Speaker 8: and they're fellian Okay, luscious hair right well. Finally, for
- 54:36Speaker 8: the fifth straight weekend, Avatar, Fire and Ash is the
- 54:39Speaker 8: biggest movie in the country. Twenty eight years later, The
- 54:42Speaker 8: Bone Temple came in a close second JB.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Temple.
- 54:46Speaker 8: So right behind that was Zootopia to finishing in the
- 54:49Speaker 8: top third for the eighth straight week. Sidney Sweeney is
- 54:52Speaker 8: The Housemaid, which I have hardly heard of.
- 54:56Speaker 5: Do you know what it is?
- 54:57Speaker 1: I've heard. Actually it's actually a hit. It's made a
- 55:00Speaker 1: ton of money.
- 55:01Speaker 8: Agree without it. That finished fourth, and then Marty Supreme
- 55:05Speaker 8: rounded out the top five. And that's what's going on.
- 55:08Speaker 4: We're so already for you want Burner media rare. You're
- 55:12Speaker 4: not gonna hear Burger media rare. Bitch is so meaty
- 55:16Speaker 4: because I'm Russian, I'm Asian.
- 55:18Speaker 8: Actually he's the best thing Asian, honestly.
- 55:21Speaker 4: The we announced the next Woody Show meet up. It's
- 55:26Speaker 4: we're calling it the Woody Show meet Market because we're
- 55:30Speaker 4: gonna meet up. Yeah, meet you and dumbass Tyler is
- 55:33Speaker 4: gonna be there.
- 55:34Speaker 1: So ladies, uh ready.
- 55:36Speaker 4: Also, Vaughn will be one Vonn's you know, Vaughn's in
- 55:40Speaker 4: the market. Yeah, but we're also always looking to meet
- 55:44Speaker 4: new people and you know, meet listeners who we haven't
- 55:46Speaker 4: met before who listen to the show, and we'll have
- 55:49Speaker 4: some prize giveaway. I'm working on on something else. I
- 55:51Speaker 4: should have some some details here soon. Something else we're
- 55:55Speaker 4: gonna do. But it's gonna be on Saturday February twenty first,
- 55:58Speaker 4: or just make the note in your calendar. We want
- 55:59Speaker 4: to give you plenty of time, so it's a month away. Saturday,
- 56:03Speaker 4: February twenty first, at Brewery X in Anaheim. It's where
- 56:08Speaker 4: it's at. We also wanted to do something in Orange County. Yeah,
- 56:11Speaker 4: so we haven't. We haven't done anything like.
- 56:13Speaker 1: That for a while.
- 56:13Speaker 4: So Brewery X, Anaheim, Saturday, February twenty first. It's from
- 56:17Speaker 4: three pm to five pm. It'll probably go a little
- 56:20Speaker 4: bit later. We'll be hanging out. It's not like five
- 56:22Speaker 4: o'clock we roller up and take especially on a Saturday.
- 56:26Speaker 4: We're in no rush. But get all the information. Just
- 56:29Speaker 4: go to the woodieshow dot com, click on events and
- 56:32Speaker 4: hopefully we'll see you there. Sometimes you just need a
- 56:39Speaker 4: little perspective, right, Sure, we talk about but that sucks.
- 56:43Speaker 4: Stories you see something in the news you're like, oh man, yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 4: i've been I've been leaning on that stuff heavier here.
- 56:53Speaker 4: This year is already just we're only not even a
- 56:57Speaker 4: month in and it already feels like a grind. Yeah,
- 57:00Speaker 4: I mean more so than any year I can remember.
- 57:04Speaker 4: Damn on record, this is I.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Don't disagree at all.
- 57:10Speaker 4: It's it's it's in my mind number two behind uh
- 57:14Speaker 4: two thousand and eight, and that's when my wife was
- 57:19Speaker 4: pregnant with our son. Uh we got fired. Yeah, all
- 57:25Speaker 4: the life's biggest stressors happened all within a twelve month period.
- 57:29Speaker 4: I got married, my wife got pregnant, so we're having
- 57:31Speaker 4: our first child. Got fired, which means we had to move.
- 57:37Speaker 4: So moving, marriage, child, moving, fired, fired, yeah, right and
- 57:43Speaker 4: then uh, and then we did move and bought a house. Right,
- 57:48Speaker 4: so that you hit it's like and dude, that that
- 57:53Speaker 4: I would say, it's called eighteen months, but like that,
- 57:55Speaker 4: that twelve months, at last twelve months of it was
- 57:58Speaker 4: like just brutal. So it's not it's not like that.
- 58:00Speaker 4: And I can't even really point to exactly why. But
- 58:03Speaker 4: this year already, and I don't know if you said
- 58:05Speaker 4: you're feeling a menace, it's already it's just already a grind.
- 58:12Speaker 1: The weeks so far this year feel like months.
- 58:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess that's this part of this is this
- 58:18Speaker 4: time of the year, right, that's.
- 58:19Speaker 8: True, just kicking off their Yeah, long way to go.
- 58:23Speaker 4: And uh, this past weekend didn't help either with you know,
- 58:28Speaker 4: alter Ego is the concert that we hosted over the
- 58:31Speaker 4: weekend and then the iHeartRadio Music Festival my two least
- 58:35Speaker 4: favorite things of the year. Really yeah, why because and
- 58:41Speaker 4: I'll tell you why they're great events, and that that's
- 58:44Speaker 4: I'm not knocking to do the events. The events are awesome. Okay,
- 58:47Speaker 4: they're they're really great. This is like for me personally.
- 58:50Speaker 4: And maybe this kind of played into the whole thing
- 58:51Speaker 4: because I knew this was coming up. And you know,
- 58:53Speaker 4: but everybody's good at some things and everybody's not good
- 58:57Speaker 4: at other things. It takes all the things that are
- 58:59Speaker 4: my weakest skills and puts them all on display at
- 59:02Speaker 4: the same time. What Uh interviews, I'm a terrible interviewer.
- 59:08Speaker 4: I don't like interviewing people. I'm not good at it.
- 59:11Speaker 4: Which I realized there are other people I can point to. Go, man,
- 59:13Speaker 4: that person's really good. There's such a natural like and
- 59:16Speaker 4: uh like our friend Striker is one of those people,
- 59:18Speaker 4: for example. There's a number of people I can point to,
- 59:20Speaker 4: So that's number one. Also, any anytime that I need
- 59:23Speaker 4: to be on camera, be it photographs, video not good.
- 59:28Speaker 4: It's it's it's not good. And so there's and because
- 59:31Speaker 4: we're hosting this, there's a ton of material out there
- 59:34Speaker 4: where I'm on camera and I'm interviewing bands or interviewing
- 59:38Speaker 4: people and and and it's nothing else other than it
- 59:42Speaker 4: just makes me hate myself, which what's great, But I'm
- 59:49Speaker 4: saying just in general. But I'm just I'm just sharing
- 59:52Speaker 4: like it's just like, oh my god, and so like
- 59:54Speaker 4: I was in a funk, like it just bums. It
- 59:57Speaker 4: bums me out because I go, oh.
- 59:59Speaker 9: My god, well they have that red carpet there, and
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: I see people doing it and posing and we're doing
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: it alone, and I think to myself, how do you
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: do that right?
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: And then and then you compound that with other things.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I don't like bands shit, And there's for every for
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: every twenty one Pilots. Yeah, I'm not going to mention
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: the other bands who are like twenty one Pilot Josh
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: and Tyler are awesome. Those guys are really so nice,
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: so humble, always cool, put on a great show. For
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: every one of those, there's fifty that are douchebags and
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: who have bought their own hype and they think they're
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: super cool. Even even in a backstage environment where you're
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: just surrounded by people who are also there working and
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: who also do what you do, and most of the
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: time on a higher level than you will ever achieve,
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: You're still dicks. So like bands, and the only people
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: that are ever worse than the bands are the managers
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: and the people around them important. Oh those people.
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: Look, their job is to blow the smoke exactly.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I thought it was cure cancer.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: You would you would think, you would think, And then
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: at events like this, all the corporatety sucky, uppy, bullish stuff,
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: So all that stuff combined.
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: You see what I'm saying now it makes sense.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: And it's an all day affair.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: You couldn't find something that is any less me and
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: my comfort zone than those things. Yeah right, And so
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: I think maybe because it's always at the beginning of
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: the year and I always have that like kind of
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: hanging over me.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know. Can I say two other people
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: that are really cool I got stuck in the green
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: room with them is Adrian and TONI from no doubt,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the nicest, yea cool And then I told
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they were super nice. I go, Adrian, I've seen you
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: perform a thousand times. I didn't realize how tall you are.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: He goes, Yeah, because I'm always sitting everyone thinks i'm short.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he's a tall dude. Yeah that's not the
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: only really really nice you know, but I said, for
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: every one of those, yeah, there are fifty important of
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: the of the ones who are just like the biggest dicks,
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: and there's so much self importance.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: It's it's uh show. The show was great.
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: It was fantastic.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: The show was great, well done, and uh it seemed
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: like the listeners had had had a really great time.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: Everybody was there seemed to have a really good time,
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: and it seemed to go off uh very well, which
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: was uh, which was great.
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: Yeah, so my first time and it ruled.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: You didn't see any complaints at all from no anybody.
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: So you know, you know, you need you need perspective,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: you need to see these things. Every once in a while,
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: I kind of snap you back, like all right, well cool, like,
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: uh you know, life is good, maybe it ain't so bad, right, yeah, yeah, exactly, Like, Man,
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: there have been you know all these uh, all these
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: things in the news, but you know, like the snow's
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: fallen in the northern US, right, and uh, there was
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: this big did you see the big pile up in Michigan.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: Oh my god, that was crazy, over one hundred cars.
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: I thought that was AI that picked right.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Uh, and then between thirty and forty big rigs involve
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: in this massive pt. Now no fatalities, which is incredible.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: And you look at the when you look at the
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: video that you see on the news and stuff, but
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: like twelve people pretty serious injuries and these self driving cars,
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: but the interstate was closed for over twelve hours while
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: workers clean up the mess. I don't know if the
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: self driving cars would have done any better, And I'll
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: tell you why.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Because they have lasers.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but it only sees so far ahead. And if
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: it's going at a quote highway speed on those kind
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: of conditions, like by the time it's it sees or
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: detects those I don't know if it has the same
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: I don't know if it's able to.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Stop anybody else want to drive in those conditions.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: It wouldn't. So you just can't go out if you
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: have a self driving car, like you just have to
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: stay home.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:03:44Speaker 11: I think we are, but I think too like from
- 1:03:46Speaker 11: what I understand like precipitation and you know, be it
- 1:03:50Speaker 11: wet or dry, it doesn't affect the light are from
- 1:03:53Speaker 11: as my understanding, so and it wouldn't.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Well, I don't know about thee the testa self driving,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: but like if you want to take uh you know
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: or yeah, any of these alms wouldn't drive in his conditions.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: Uh, the interstate was close like twelve hours because they're
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: trying to clean everything up. People stranded in their cars.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Like that's the worst when you're stuck, like the highway
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: shut down because there's an accident free and you just
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: there's just nowhere to go, so you end up just
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: sitting there.
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: Yeah, it doesn't even look real.
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: Well, I'll take that back up. Significally affected by precipitations.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Yeah, nothing this you're just gonna drive your own car.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Ye. Seventy year old guy in central New York says
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: he's lucky to be alive. At three, he fell asleep
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: in his living room and he woke up to a
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: car crashing into his house and landing on him. And
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: he says, this is the fifth time, wait a second,
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: that a car is crashed onto his property, and he
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: felt so lucky that he asked the ambulance drivers to
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: stop and get a lotto ticket.
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: Oh my god, does he live at like an intersection?
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Crazy something.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Yeah, there was a house kind of where I grew up,
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: near where I grew up, where they end up putting
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: up these big, giant, ugly say. They have to put
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: these pillars right like you know those you see them
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: in front of stores sometimes, like in front of Target,
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: their big red cylinders, you know. But yeah, what do
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: they call them? Not pylons?
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Ballard?
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Ballard? Okay, Well, it's because people would come flying around
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: this curve and they would lose control and the house
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: was just too close to the road. People would go
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: on that curve and they would go right into the
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: house and this house, this house ended up getting hit
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: like number a number of times. So they put these
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: big ballards out there.
- 1:05:39Speaker 11: And then I've seen stories where people will do something
- 1:05:41Speaker 11: like that and then they get sued because they're putting
- 1:05:43Speaker 11: up something dangerous that could kill the driver.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Okay, but you I mean like like someone like.
- 1:05:50Speaker 11: Right, there's some story where like somebody had that problem
- 1:05:52Speaker 11: in their yard and put a giant rock out there.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Like there's just dangerous. People are gonna die hitting your
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: rock well once you try taking it easy around the curve.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: The old dude's name is Skip Cunningham. This is a
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: clip of him on the local news telling everybody all
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: about his situation.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: This was where the couch was.
- 1:06:11Speaker 13: I was laying down watching television. Next thing I know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 13: I woke up, blood running down my head and card
- 1:06:20Speaker 13: laying on top of me. You know, my guys running
- 1:06:23Speaker 13: around saying shy, shy. I said, we'll call nine one long.
- 1:06:27Speaker 13: I tried to get him to shop at Stuart so
- 1:06:30Speaker 13: I went by a lottery ticket, but they wouldn't shop.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they were.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: It was part of that movie that you know, that
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Neil Diamond cover band movie that was Yeah, it was
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: part of that too, because the house that the cover
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: band lived in was the Tories for getting hit by
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: a car fun fact. Yeah yeah, and injured.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: Wasn't planning on watching it.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I injured one of the definitely not one of the
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: people in the band. Yeah, so just a little ty in, yeah,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: apropos Yeah, I think.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: After the second time, I'd just move right. Yeah.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to declare that like dead bodies, right.
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: I mean you bought it, Yeah, probably got to screaming
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: good deal in the house though, yeah, maybe it's notorious.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: Eight seven forty four Woody is the phone number. But
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: how about instead of that sucks, how about a brag
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: like Sea Bass? Okay, that's good, you know what I mean,
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: because you want to you want to keep it. You
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: gotta what are they, man, there's a there's a there's
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: a saying that I'm spacing on right now.
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: Look on the bright side of life kind of.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: I mean, it's it's uh, it's it's the it's it's
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: just a well, it's a it's all about just like
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: keeping perspective, right, and they're starving children in China, you know,
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: focus focus on, focus on the good things. So what
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: are the you know, Sea Bass brags all the time,
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: but like for everybody else, like this is your chance,
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Like there's something that you're really happy about, it, really
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: excited about, really proud about. You get to brag like
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: Sea Bass does, and I have to feel bad about
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: it because a lot of times now, you know, people
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: will say, oh, they'll share some some piece of news,
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: some good some good news that they have that they're
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: excited about.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I mean, people just dog them because well, you know,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: showing up.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: I don't think it's really good form to uh to
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: be talking about that, because not everybody has the opportunity
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: to get a new car, you know, that's correct. Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: So it doesn't matter what you're excited about, your chance
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: to brag like sea bass, Like what are you happy about?
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Like what do you want to boast to brag about?
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: We're asking you so you don't to feel bad about. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: we want to know. I'm called in eight seven seven
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: forty four, Woody. It's eight seven seven forty four, Woody.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: You can call now and then we'll get your calls
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: on the air and then uh. Also if you just
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: want to text him over, you can do that too,
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: over to two two nine eight seven. That will be
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: next hang on, go late seven seven forty four, Woody.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: I don't people say it never had your phone.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Else show.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: We call it brag like sea bass, because we've all
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: heard it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You know, every day.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: It's just just speaking truth and some people can't handle that, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: just unsolicited.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You know, in this case, we are soliciting.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: We we want to hear, like what you're happy or
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: excited about, something that's good going on, something looking forward to,
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: or something you're proud about. Whatever it is, your chance
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: to brag like Sea Bass, because you're dying to tell somebody.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: And a lot of times now it just seems like
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: we don't we don't celebrate successes because not you know,
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: everybody can't share. It's like one of those Well.
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: If I give you a piece of candy.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Right, we don't have one for the entire class. Whatever
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: happened in Life's not fair. Yeah, that's the thing that
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: I learned as a kid that it took me so
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: long to just let it sink in.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: It's not fair.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: Yeah, life, life is not fair. But we are looking
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: for you to brag like Sea Bass. Eight seven seven
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: forty four. Woody is the phone number. You can also
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: text it over to two two nine eighty seven. Let's
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: say hi to Aid and Aid in brag like Sea Bass.
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: What do you got for us?
- 1:10:15Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:10:16Speaker 14: So recently, I just bought a controller for DJing.
- 1:10:19Speaker 16: I got into ed M recently and uh, after like.
- 1:10:22Speaker 14: A month or two, I saved up and I was
- 1:10:24Speaker 14: able to.
- 1:10:24Speaker 15: Buy my first controllers.
- 1:10:25Speaker 19: So I've just been nice at home kind of you know, DJing,
- 1:10:28Speaker 19: learning how to how to mix and transition from some
- 1:10:31Speaker 19: the song.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: Oh that's cool, man, there's actually there's a guy that
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: we follow on Instagram and he's always given really good
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: tips on DJM.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: I'm looking up his uh, I'm looking up his profile
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: right now. What's that jazzy something?
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: No, it's not, it's not it's not jazzy. We get
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: a lot of uh because we have DJ Scotti, Fox,
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: DJ J Spinoza, like our our friends. I'm gonna I'm
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: gonna find it and then I'll mention I'll keep looking
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: while we're while we're doing this segment. But yeah, this guy,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: and he's got like a lot of really good tips
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: on how you can pull off these really cool transitions

- 1:11:13Speaker 4: All right, Bye, let's go to Greg. What's up Greg?
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: Not you?
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Greg? Okay? Greg?
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: With Greg on the phone?
- 1:11:19Speaker 14: Greg?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Yeah? Other Greg brag like Sea Bass. What do you got?
- 1:11:25Speaker 14: I just paid off my house. It was the end
- 1:11:29Speaker 14: of the year, paid it off, no more mortgage, so
- 1:11:32Speaker 14: good times lucky.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: How long did it take in total?
- 1:11:36Speaker 14: Oh god, I'd rather not say.
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: Quite a bit.
- 1:11:40Speaker 14: Okay, about twenty five years.
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: I mean, okay, that's.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Nice, fantastic, that's awesome, that's great man.
- 1:11:47Speaker 14: At the same time, I mean, with all the ups
- 1:11:49Speaker 14: and downs that the economy has done in the past
- 1:11:51Speaker 14: twenty five years, you know, I almost lost the thing twice.
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I was able to.
- 1:11:57Speaker 14: I was able to dig back out of almost four
- 1:12:00Speaker 14: closure and almost sailed by the country girl take up
- 1:12:04Speaker 14: till battles.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: So what are you what are you gonna do with
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: all the extra money?
- 1:12:07Speaker 14: Now, take a vacation for one, you know all those years?
- 1:12:13Speaker 14: Yeah you don't.
- 1:12:14Speaker 16: You don't.
- 1:12:14Speaker 14: You don't have the opportunity to take vacations when you're
- 1:12:16Speaker 14: putting all your money into paying off your house. Yeah,
- 1:12:20Speaker 14: it's kind of fun because I'm here in Los Angeles
- 1:12:23Speaker 14: and people are paying twenty five hundred dollars a month
- 1:12:27Speaker 14: for a one bedroom apartment. Yeah, and I was paying
- 1:12:30Speaker 14: a thousand a month for you know, twenty five years,
- 1:12:34Speaker 14: and then and then it's file file a bunch on
- 1:12:37Speaker 14: top of it.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Yea, it came down.
- 1:12:40Speaker 14: But I mean, now I got a three bedroom, one
- 1:12:42Speaker 14: bath and I'm not paying anything on it.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: It's uh, that's all right, cool?
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: Well, hey man, enjoy all the extra financial freedom. Greg,
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: thank you so much for the call. Appreciate that. Say
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: hi to uh Brian. What's up, Brian Braga?
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: So so, I just bought my.
- 1:12:56Speaker 14: First course this year, super excited. Uh yeah, just got
- 1:13:00Speaker 14: a brand new car.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: What you get and dreaming about this car.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: I gotta stant help with the.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Yeah, since he owns one, I've never heard of it.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: That's awesome. Did you do.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: There's there's a friend of mine that is uh in
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: the market for Porsche, Greg, and she's considering doing the
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: delivery like.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Wherever, like overseas where you factory factory delivery. Yeah cool?
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: And then I guess they have like a track there
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: and everything, and then you take it on the track
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: and that rules and it's like a it's a it's
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: like an extra thousand dollars or something like that. But
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: I guess if you're getting a car like that, you
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: know fun.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, put it to the test.
- 1:13:48Speaker 14: And one last thing, you can call it whatever you want.
- 1:13:51Speaker 14: You can afford it, you call it whatever you want.
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: Yeah, true, Yeah, thank you anything.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I did learn something the other day when it comes
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: to uh marry it are Marriott Marrion, It's called Marriott.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Yeah the guys.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, like how like, yeah, that's that's the
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: way you're supposed to pronounce. I say all the time,
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: that's the that's the proper bernunci Ye.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: My friend works for the company and she's like, yeah,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: it's Marriott, Mary Marriott, and every front desk person that,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: and they'll be pit mad at me. Excuse me, it's Mariot. Yeah.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Do you know where you work?
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: Eight forty four wood E text over to two to nine,
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: eight seven. Anybody got a brag like Seavent?
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I think since I should be allowed.
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: I mean we well, we've been doing our little thing
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: with uh swamp ass Tyler and Gina about the NFL
- 1:14:38Speaker 11: predictions and doing that, and then is talking about these
- 1:14:41Speaker 11: little daily these trader markets online where prediction prediction markets.
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: I went to a little research and I was four
- 1:14:49Speaker 11: and oh this past weekend in the NFL, my only
- 1:14:51Speaker 11: week ever betting this year. WHOA and I saw so
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: I had the bonus money, and I thought, let's put
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: this on the National Championship game. Well on that one
- 1:14:58Speaker 11: as well, So I it was five and zer in bets.
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: Now I was betting all favorites, so that only means
- 1:15:02Speaker 11: that many like fifty percent back of my money. Yeah,
- 1:15:05Speaker 11: but if I have this same streak in forty five weeks,
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: I'll be a billionaire.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Ten dollars. Wait, so you bet a buck win a buck? Five?
- 1:15:14Speaker 11: No, well you get you beg your your total return
- 1:15:18Speaker 11: back is about fifty But you're betting favorites, so it's
- 1:15:21Speaker 11: not a one to one win.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: You're not you know, that's not the Yeah, and some
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: people are like using this as like a savings account
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: by just picking the favorites.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: Well that, yeah, how does that work?
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I don't totally understand it because you have to you only.
- 1:15:36Speaker 11: Pick favorites, you'd have to win seventy five percent of
- 1:15:39Speaker 11: the time, which that's not how they say that.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, how workout that you would make more money versus
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: just having it in the bank on interest? So that's
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: that can't be true.
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: For our DJ friend, I was looking for that account.
- 1:15:52Speaker 14: Uh.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: The guy on Instagram who we follow is Phil Harris.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: So it's Phil Harris Music and he does a lot
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: of really cool videos showing how to do Like if
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: you're just learning how to do the DJ thing or
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: have some interest in it, these cool transitions that you'll
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: give you. He'll give you the example. I'll show exactly
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: on the on the different types of decks and stuff
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: and how cool. Yeah, it's pretty cool if yeah Phil
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: at Phil Harris Music on Instagram. If you want to
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: check it out. Let's say hi to Dwight. What's up Dwight?
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Helloha?
- 1:16:26Speaker 14: How are you?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: We're doing all right? Some brag like sea bass? What
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: do you got?
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: So three years ago I founded a foundation with a
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: World War Two friend of mine and he was in
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: World War two Korean Vietnam and with people told him
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: thank you for your service, he would say you were
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: worth it. So our mission is to always remember our veterans,
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: never forget our active duty, and welcome home to all
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: our service members. So we just got done wrapping up
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: last year and we did over one hundred and twenty
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: events with World War Two veterans. We did forty events
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: with World War Two veterans and active duty military, including
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: taking fourteen to Hawaii for the eightieth Commemoration event to
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: World War Two. And we did over one hundred and
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: events on military basis, including taking over thirty thousand diapers
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: for young military families to help offset the cost of
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: diapers and things like that.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Wow, this is just something.
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: So you just kind of started this just you know,
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: like you weren't already working for this, like you started
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: this whole thing. It was just an idea and it
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: just kind of snowballed and got gone, huh yeah.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: With Billy Hall, he was he made the amphibious landing
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: and Guada Canal at fifteen and a half years old
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: and World War Two and went on to serve World
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: War two Korea, Vietnam. And the first time I met him,
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: I said, thank you for your service, and he said
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: you were worth it. And so from that we to
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: get founded a foundation three years ago, and that is
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: our mission is to work, you know, always remember our veterans,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: never forget our active duty to welcome home all of
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: our services asage.
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: Isn't the average World War two vet like one hundred
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: or something.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's a great question. There's less than forty
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: five thousand World War two veterans, the average around one hundred.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: And right now I'm driving on the four h five
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: to pick up three of my World War two veterans.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: We go to breakfast in Englewood every Tuesday, but three
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: guys and go to breakfast, and yeah, so I get
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: to hang out with these guys all the time. It's
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: really wonderful.
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: What's the name of your nonprofit.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: It's called You Were Worth It?
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, cool.
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: So there are forty five thousand World War Two veterans
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: still alive.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Is that what you said?
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that is correct. And we actually just lost the
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: last living person that was ever on the USS Arizona.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: His name was Bill Stewart. Yeah, he went on the
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Arizona as a boy Scott nineteen forty one before it
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: went back over to Pearl Harbor, and he passed away
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: last week. But we're losing them, but these guys are
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: out there. I take them down to the base about
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: every couple of weeks. They'll take them down to the base.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: We take pieces down to the base at Camp Pendleton.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Just however, we can integrate the old guys with the
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: young guys.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: And do I thank you for the call.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: I appreciate what you're doing. Ma's awesome. Yeah, oh yeah, cool,
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: thank you. I appreciate you. Listening to the Woodie Show,
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: let's say hi to Tie Yo, Tie Hi.
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: Guys, it's Kai.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: It's up on my screen? Is tie to you? Why?
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: All right? Brag like sea bass?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: All right?

- 1:19:23Speaker 5: it's been a dry spot for me lately. Like dating
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: and I'm a I'm an up and coming comic and
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: I finally hooked up with somebody awful comedy. A girl
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: came up, a girl came to my show. You know,
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: she was into it, and you know, we started seeing
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: each other and you know things things are going well.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: They call the comedy groupies. Don't they have a name?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, not like lots, but like same kind
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: of thing. Yeah, like at the club they called chuckle
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Bunnies or something. Yeah, efforts.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: All right, Kai, thank you for the call. Appreciate Listen
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: to show. Everybody, say hi to Christy. What's up Christy?

- 1:20:12Speaker 16: So I just got a new job. And where the
- 1:20:16Speaker 16: brag like sea bass is? Thank you?
- 1:20:19Speaker 14: It was.
- 1:20:20Speaker 16: My old job was four miles away, so pretty spoiled.
- 1:20:23Speaker 16: My new job is even closer, three point two miles
- 1:20:28Speaker 16: with a thirty three percent annual.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: And is it the same Is it in the same field.
- 1:20:40Speaker 16: Yes, I'm an executive assistant, so it's in the same field. Okay,
- 1:20:44Speaker 16: I'm super happy like this is going to be a
- 1:20:48Speaker 16: great year.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: That's great, Hi, Chris, to be like a sea bass.
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: You can see you right, every year is a sea
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: bass here just as it is. Yeah, all right, Christy,
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: thank you the call. Appreciate listening to what he show.

- 1:21:03Speaker 4: like Sea Bass. I'll read you some of these that
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: are coming in on the text. Got some great text.

- 1:21:11Speaker 4: I'm sartin to get the update on the so Cal
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: sports and then read you some of these text messages
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: came through for a round of bragle like Sea Bass.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: There was a couple more people in the room to
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: have their brag Like Sea Bass. You get ten yours
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: in something you're excited or happy about, yeah said. For
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: whatever reason, man, the beginning of this year just feels
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: like our crimes does.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And then uh yeah, just all the other stuff
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: that I explained earlier.
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: Why so far the first twenty days of the year
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: just been like oh god, yeah, but yeah, you need
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: that perspective, you need you need to hear some good things.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: It's inspiring. Yeah, yeah, yeah exactly. So if you got
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: something for brag like Sea Bass, send us a text
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: over to two to nine eight seven. We announced this
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: morning Woody Show meat Market, our first meet up of
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: the year. We called it a meat market only because
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: we're trying to get and you know Vaughan dates, you know,
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: so if you want to come on out, we're trying
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: to get Hammer and Hank there, and Half Baked we're
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: working on. We're working on those guys one or both
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: half Big probably half Baked, and then Hammer and Hanks
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: is a little bit more difficult. He needs a handler.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: He needs a handler, and I don't know who his
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: handler is these days. Maybe his sister. We never mentioned this.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: His sister's name nickname is Smurfatt smir. I don't even
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: really know her real name.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Like working on something else too that I think could
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: be really cool if that comes through. But either way,
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: we'll be there Saturday, February twenty first Brewery X and
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: Anaheim is where the next Big Woody Show meetup is
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: happening three pm to five PMS. Just marketing on the calendar.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: I know it's a little ways off, but we want
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: to give you a heads up because we know we
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: were talking about that earlier, like how you have to
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: talk to your friends and go like all right, let's
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: talk about March.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: We're just trying to have dinner. That's so adult.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: But to synchronize schedules and everything else, people need a
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: heads up a lot of times. Absolutely adulting man. Yeah,
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: So the Best Brewery x in Anaheim. Woody Show meet
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: up Saturday, February twenty first, the whole WOODI Show will
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: be out there. Hopefully you can join us. He puts
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: the G in Garcia. So call sports with Jeff Garcy.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: Ya Hey, good morning, Jef G.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: What's going on? What do you show?
- 1:23:21Speaker 18: Hopefully you guys had a great holiday weekend, so we
- 1:23:24Speaker 18: were off yesterday. Didn't get a chance to talk about
- 1:23:26Speaker 18: the Rams and making it to the.
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: NFC Championship Game.
- 1:23:29Speaker 18: They're gonna play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at three thirty.
- 1:23:32Speaker 18: The two teams split the season series, so this should
- 1:23:35Speaker 18: be a great one on Sunday once again at three thirty.
- 1:23:38Speaker 18: Moving on to the NBA, Clippers won one ten, one
- 1:23:41Speaker 18: oh six in DC. The Beard had thirty six points
- 1:23:44Speaker 18: here as James Harden after the game.
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: So whatever it.
- 1:23:49Speaker 18: Takes, whatever, Nitty one again won again no matter how
- 1:23:52Speaker 18: pure hook here look.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: So for us, that's all this about tonight. We did
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: that well today, we did that, Clippers in.
- 1:23:57Speaker 18: Chicago versus the Bulls this afternoon, Lakers in Denver tonight
- 1:24:00Speaker 18: at seven pm. And speaking about the NBA, the All
- 1:24:03Speaker 18: Star Game starters were announced. Luca is a starter along
- 1:24:07Speaker 18: with Steph Joker, Shay and Wemby. And for the first
- 1:24:10Speaker 18: time in twenty one years, Lebron James won't be a
- 1:24:13Speaker 18: starter on the All Star team. I'm sure he's gonna
- 1:24:16Speaker 18: get selected somehow, some way. By the way, Lebron's son Bronni,
- 1:24:20Speaker 18: actually got the forty six most votes this year for
- 1:24:24Speaker 18: NBA All Star starters, and he actually got a couple
- 1:24:26Speaker 18: votes from NBA players as well. I have to assume
- 1:24:30Speaker 18: that those are all trolling votes, right, I mean it's Bronni.
- 1:24:33Speaker 18: He's playing all right, but not enough to be an
- 1:24:36Speaker 18: All Star. Hockey Kingsandrangers tonight at Crypto dot com. Marina
- 1:24:40Speaker 18: College football. Congratulations to the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers. They won
- 1:24:43Speaker 18: the national championship last night, and of course their quarterback
- 1:24:46Speaker 18: Fernando Mendoza was the Heisman Trophy winner as well, so
- 1:24:50Speaker 18: what a season for him. Congratulations, Enjoy it now because
- 1:24:54Speaker 18: next year you're going to quarterback the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Good luck with that. I'm Jeff G. And that's your
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: SoCal sports. It is the show.
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: And you know to feel weird about it because we
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: have been asking you to brag. Like c Mass, he's
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: got no shame, he's done. Genie, you said you had something,
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: I have one.
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: I think everyone's going to find it to be a brag,
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: maybe except for you. What he So, I'm really really
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: proud of us, my husband and I because we're a
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: month ahead on our mortgage payment.
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: Oh nice.
- 1:25:33Speaker 8: And I was really proud about that. But then I
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: feel like you said, that's not good.
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: Uh, well, it's not good if you would rather have
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: your money working for you. I like money, and I
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: want if you want, if you want, if you want more.
- 1:25:45Speaker 8: Money, I want more money.
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: You'd be, you'd be, you'd be better off putting that
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: into the market.
- 1:25:50Speaker 8: Okay, But I'm still proud.
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: There's a whole thing. In fact, I have I have
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: a video that I meant to send to you, okay,
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: because it clear it explains way better and way more
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: and more educated way.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: I'm four, yeah, is like twenty yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: No, it's no, it's not what I did. I did
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: that same thing in my last six seven, which by
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: the way, is over apparently. Yeah, except for like, I
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: think kindergarten. They said, kindergarten age kids are still doing that.
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: But everything older than that, it's done. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: it's it's done.
- 1:26:28Speaker 18: Uh.
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: Here is a Texas says I have a full time
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: job in engineering, but I've been building my YouTube channel
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: as a side gig and I recently got monetized and
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: I got my first one hundred bucks. This one says
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: I have breast cancer, but I don't need chemo, so
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: I got the cancer the easy way. But you know what, like, uh,
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: that's the thing, man. You get something like that, and
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: I've heard from a number of people, and you know,
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: I'm not thank god I've not had to deal with
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: anything like that personally, but uh yeah, a lot of
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: that has to do with how you go into it,
- 1:26:59Speaker 4: like your mind set and so like that is definitely
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: a brag because you get diagnosed to something like that,
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: and you know, you want to freak out and doomsday
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: and everything, but hey, you gotta look for those little winds.
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: You don't need chemo. That's great, huge, you know, there's
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: other things that you can do. This one says, I've
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: been a lot of pain. I had surgery last year.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: I've had I broken my clavigal twice. Oh, they had
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: to get a new butthole.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Oh what do you call that?
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: Uh the hemorrhea. But yeah, I just thought it was
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: weird that this doctor just looks at and works on buttholes.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: For a limpics.
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: I hope it didn't get tickled or anything while I
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: was under the knife. Uh, my bragi like Sea Bass.
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: After years of wanting them, I'm finally getting a boob
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: job and going from an A cup to a full
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: Sea D cup. I turned Oh here you go, see Bass,
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: I turned sixty thousand into one hundred thousand betting on
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: the spread prediction on the Indiana Miami Games. You could
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: have lost sixty thousand. Yeah, bragleg Sea Bass. I'm on
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: my way to Palm Springs for a work conference where
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: I get to golf and drink for the next three days.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: That's a shin Good morning.
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: This one says, Hey, what the show. I just got
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: engaged and I've started planning my wedding. I'm excited and
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: looking forward to it. This is Shane, my wife and
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: I just had her third son and she was struggling
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: to figure out the maternity leave situation with her job.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: But I was able to tell her that we are
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: financially stable for her to leave that crappy job.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: I like to see you, bass. I finally passed my
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: journeyman's test to get my elevator license. It took me
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: five times, but it's such a big weight off my shoulders.
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: And I've worked so hard to get to where I
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: am at and this is only the beginning. That's a very,
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: very lucrative career as well. Yeah, after one and a
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: half years of being unemployed, I finally got a new
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: job two weeks ago, just before my birthday. I'm making
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: more than ever and the people are cool. I'm thirty
- 1:29:01Speaker 4: six and my husband and I just bought our very
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: first set of brand new furniture. All of our furniture
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: has been hand me downs twenty six hundred bucks and
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: it feels like oh, and it feels like no one
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: is Oh. I see twenty six hundred bucks, and it
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: feels like no one's happy for us. O.
- 1:29:17Speaker 8: Furniture is awesome.
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: Last year, we bought our second house, so we have
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: one to rent out and one to live in, and
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: this year we are buying a business. This coming from
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: a family where my wife and I we didn't eat
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: all the time so our kids could have three meals
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: a day and we were moving from motel to motel
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: to things. Yeah, that's really cool, really cool. Oh here,
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: I recently purchased my first luxury watch and Omega Sea
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: Master three hundred.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: It's a nice watch.
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: Nice, let's go for about like five to ten thousand.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: It's nice. Yeah.
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: After our two failed for fertility treatments and the third
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: time to charge, my wife and I we got pregnant
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: and the little man joined us two days before Thanksgiving. Yeah,
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: Bragley sea Baths. My husband and I in our forties
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: and are closing on our first house. It's so scary
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: but so exciting. Yeah, talk to Gina about that.
- 1:30:07Speaker 8: Just went through it.
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: Yeah, rolling in So glad. Things are going well for
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: so many people. Thank you for bragging like sea baths
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: into another new hour insensitivity training for you politically correct world.

- 1:30:43Speaker 4: Phones open eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You can
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: send us a text over to two to nine eight seven.
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: I guess this has been quite the debate online. It's
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: it's new to me and it seems like a no brainer.
- 1:31:01Speaker 4: This this person, I think she's on TikTok tinks, t
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: I n X. Have you heard of this person? I
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: don't know. I'm not a TikToker, guys, so my apologies
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: to tinks the lack of big thing in the world
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: for the lack of awareness.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: Anyway, she.
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: Posted this video and it's got a lot of people talking,
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: just interested to see what you think on this.
- 1:31:23Speaker 20: H had someone ask me today if they should take
- 1:31:24Speaker 20: one hundred and twenty k remote fully remote or two
- 1:31:27Speaker 20: hundred and forty K to go into the office, and
- 1:31:29Speaker 20: I was like, huh, And without even checking their profile,
- 1:31:33Speaker 20: I absolutely knew they were a gen Z. I knew
- 1:31:35Speaker 20: their age started with the two. Because for you to
- 1:31:38Speaker 20: even ask the question of whether you should take one
- 1:31:42Speaker 20: hundred and twenty thousand extra dollars a year just to
- 1:31:46Speaker 20: go to the office, just to march your little booty
- 1:31:48Speaker 20: to the office, sit there around for a few hours
- 1:31:51Speaker 20: and leave. What do you guys think goes on at
- 1:31:54Speaker 20: the office.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: It's not that scary, So yeah, a little.
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: Bit longer, but yeah, like, okay, so you have one
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: opportunity for one hundred and twenty thousand dollars. It's fully remote,
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: one hundred and twenty thousand dollars. But there's this other
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: job doing the same damn thing. Let's just say the
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: work is equal, right, pays double, but it pays two
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: hundred and forty. That's a that's double to two times.
- 1:32:18Speaker 8: I don't know. You guys wanted them put on shoes.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but you have to go to the office for that.
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: There's maybe because I'm a person I've always come in.
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: Even during COVID when they had this place closed down,
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: we weren't and that was more for it was such
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: as the technical logistics that it was a painting ass
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: and we.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: Had the building to ourselves, and it was great. It
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: was awesome.
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: That was pretty great. But like I've always come in, Yeah,
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: and I think I prefer to do it. You know,
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: this kind of job at least face to face with you, guys,
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: it seems like a note. I would take the two forty.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: I couldn't give you an answer right away, really to
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: be honest, because I would I would have to know
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: the factors of like, Okay, what are the job is
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: cost living? And just do the math on it, Like
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: how far ahead would I be to take the two
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: forty versus being able to live anywhere I wanted for
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: the one hundred and twenty thousand. I just I would
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: have to do the math on it. You're going to say,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: I just couldn't, like say right away, but double double sick. Yeah,
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: but it's not.
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: I understand double is still double.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: You got to take the factor of cost of living though,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: of where that job is located and how much it
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: would cost to live in that city nearby that one
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: hundred you know on two hundred and four years zoo. Yeah,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying, Like, if I'm making, yeah, in
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: a city with the low cost of living, and I'm
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: making two hundred and forty thousand to go and let's
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: say I'm going in the office all day.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: Let's let's say living where you're living. For the sake
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: of the argument, you are living where you're living right now,
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: right now. You're not moving, You're living where you're living
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: right now. So again, let's keep all things equal, okay, right,
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: basically the same.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, then I'm definitely going in the office for sure.
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: Yeah, because if you're just if it's just about skipping
- 1:34:06Speaker 4: the commute, yeah yeah, and no not having to see
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: people like that. And I guess everybody's got their everybody's
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: got their price. Yeah, but like is double doubles the price? Yeah,
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: it's one hundred and twenty thousand dollars. Like you man
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: who said something about I can't remember exactly what it was,
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: but like, oh, man, like I will avoid whatever it
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: is at all costs.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I know what it was.
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: Somebody said, like, uh, they will fly they like they
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: cause they just won't go to Lax and fly out
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: of Lax.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:34:41Speaker 4: It's like but to direction, Yeah, yeah, like you're gonna
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: go through the hass. Like for me, it's worth driving
- 1:34:49Speaker 4: or getting to Lax for the direct flight so I
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: can cut out all the potential nightmare of missing a
- 1:34:57Speaker 4: connection or getting somewhere else. And that plane goes down
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: for whatever reason mechanically and you get delayed that way,
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: like there's more that could seem to go wrong. Yeah,
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: so to me, it's worth the direct also not having
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: to like get your crap off the plane, go to
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: the other gate, get wait for that boarding process, take off,
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: Like to me, that's not worth it.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: But going back to the like the remote thing where
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: people are just doing their remote because they don't like
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: the social interaction, I think.
- 1:35:21Speaker 8: That's so dumb, and that's so the thing right now.
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: It's your choice. I mean, there is really no right
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: or wrong answer. I would I was surprised that there
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: is even a question.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: I guess is the by.
- 1:35:32Speaker 9: Knee jerk reaction. But Menace made a good point depending
- 1:35:35Speaker 9: on where it is. If all the factors stayed exactly
- 1:35:37Speaker 9: the same in our lives where you live and you're
- 1:35:40Speaker 9: commute and all that, then it's a no brainer. But yeah,
- 1:35:42Speaker 9: if it was two forty in some cities, that's I
- 1:35:45Speaker 9: think it's not the millions that it sounds like.
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: Yeah, the only perk would be, like Menace, you love traveling,
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: so you could do your job from anywhere.
- 1:35:52Speaker 8: Yeah, But for someone who doesn't want to be traveling
- 1:35:54Speaker 8: all the time, it's easy office all day, right, and
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: it's like, what's the commute?
- 1:35:59Speaker 12: Number one is, there's so many hours that you get
- 1:36:01Speaker 12: back on your life if you're not commuting there and back,
- 1:36:04Speaker 12: if it is far and there's a lot of traffic,
- 1:36:06Speaker 12: and if you can wake up honestly and not shower
- 1:36:08Speaker 12: and not get ready and not do all of those things,
- 1:36:10Speaker 12: you really do have a lot of time for yourself
- 1:36:13Speaker 12: versus taking the job in the office.
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: But it's still a lot of money to leave on
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: the table just for that.
- 1:36:20Speaker 4: All right, there, it's a question on the text and
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: just text over to two two nine eight seven. So here,
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: I'll if you're just tuning in, I'll play the clib
- 1:36:27Speaker 4: one more time.
- 1:36:28Speaker 14: Hi.
- 1:36:28Speaker 20: Someone ask me today if they should take one hundred
- 1:36:30Speaker 20: and twenty k remote fully remote or two hundred and
- 1:36:33Speaker 20: forty K to go into the office, And I was like, huh,
- 1:36:36Speaker 20: And without even checking their profile, I absolutely knew they
- 1:36:39Speaker 20: were a gen Z.
- 1:36:40Speaker 8: I knew their age started with a two.
- 1:36:42Speaker 20: Because for you to even ask the question of whether
- 1:36:46Speaker 20: you should take one hundred and twenty thousand extra dollars
- 1:36:50Speaker 20: a year just to go to the office, just to
- 1:36:52Speaker 20: march your little booty to.
- 1:36:53Speaker 8: The office, sit there ground for a few hours then leave.
- 1:36:58Speaker 4: What do you guys think goes on at the office?
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Is not that scary? All right?
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: So which one? Again, all things equal, same work in
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: living where you live right now? Which one would you take?
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: Would you take the one hundred and twenty to just
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: be able to work from home or the two forty
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: but you got to come into the office? Which one
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: would you take? The Woody show? Alright, So before the break,
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: I had played you the clip and it's a question
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: that's been burning up the internet. Apparently Tinks is the
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: name of the woman who posts this video.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: People seem to know she is.
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: Who's surprised. I'm not familiar with her. What, Yeah, I know,
- 1:37:38Speaker 4: but I've also never never had a TikToker, right, so
- 1:37:42Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: But yeah, here's what she said.
- 1:37:44Speaker 20: Someone asked me today if they should take one hundred
- 1:37:46Speaker 20: and twenty k remote fully remote or two hundred and
- 1:37:49Speaker 20: forty K to go into the office, And I was
- 1:37:51Speaker 20: like who, And without even checking their profile, I absolutely
- 1:37:55Speaker 20: knew they were a gen Z. I knew their age
- 1:37:57Speaker 20: started with the two because for you even ask the
- 1:38:01Speaker 20: question of whether you should take one hundred and twenty
- 1:38:04Speaker 20: thousand extra dollars a year just to go to the office,
- 1:38:08Speaker 20: just to march your little booty to the office, sit
- 1:38:11Speaker 20: there ground for a few hours than leave. What do
- 1:38:15Speaker 20: you guys think goes on at the office.
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: It's not that scary. Yeah, So we asked you which
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: one would you take? All things equal, let's say that
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: it wasn't about picking up and moving somewhere completely different.
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: So where you're living now, whatever that cost of living is,
- 1:38:26Speaker 4: it was just a matter of going into the office. Basically,
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: which one would you take? This one says two hundred
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: and forty thousand. I need to get away from my house.
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: Julie says, I would take the one hundred and twenty
- 1:38:39Speaker 4: thousand for fully remote. I need the flexibility to be
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: able to pick up my kids, volunteer at their school, travel,
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: et cetera. If I'm going to the office, I am
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: chained to my desk. The flexibility is priceless. Remote is trash.
- 1:38:53Speaker 4: I'd rather drive to the office and deal with a
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: couple of coworkers because you need the place that you
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: can get away. You need the place you can get
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: away from your house. If they're the same place, then
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: you're not gonna let go of any of the anxiety,
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: like I feel like you're at work on like you know,
- 1:39:09Speaker 4: but like home could be that relief too. So you
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: know you need relief from the people and the stuff
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: that you're dealing with at home. So good you go
- 1:39:15Speaker 4: to the office when you need relief from the people
- 1:39:17Speaker 4: or the things that are going in the office. You
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: get to go home when it's all the same place.
- 1:39:21Speaker 4: That's a good point. I didn't think about it that way.
- 1:39:24Speaker 4: I work from home and I absolutely love it. I
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: would hate to go I hate to have to go
- 1:39:28Speaker 4: back to an office, but for two hundred thousand I
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: would do it in a heartbeat.
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: Yeah, huge difference. I have five kids.
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: I would take one hundred and twenty thousand dollars less
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: to be able to leave the house, and I would
- 1:39:38Speaker 4: pray for a long commute. Millennial here, I would take
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: the two hundred and forty thousand, no hesitation commute, not
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: even a worry, for double the salary. I'm taking my
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: happy little ass to the office every day, says the
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: eight one eighth. Someone said I would sell my great
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: great great great grandmother back into slavery for two hundred
- 1:39:57Speaker 4: and forty thousand dollars a year. It says I'm definitely
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: taking the extra money. Yeah, So it's it's all over
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: the place. But I would say overall, yeah, I overall
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: seems that people would take the money, would.
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: Take what the caveat of you don't get to move, Yeah,
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: I mean, the remote work doesn't make sense at all.
- 1:40:16Speaker 4: If all the factors stay the same, it's a no
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: brainer go to the office. But honestly, in person work
- 1:40:21Speaker 4: has literally drained my soul that considering the one hundred
- 1:40:25Speaker 4: and twenty thousand might be worth it.
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: That could be.
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: That sounds like it could be like where you're working.
- 1:40:31Speaker 8: Yeah, and the people were working.
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: With co workers. Yeah, I just don't have the discipline
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: to work from home.
- 1:40:38Speaker 4: Uh. The current job market not as stable as used
- 1:40:41Speaker 4: to be, turns out not entirely the fault of employers.
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: According to the new numbers here, fifty eight percent of
- 1:40:47Speaker 4: gen Z workers admitted to taking a job that they
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: knew wasn't going to be long term. On top of that,
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: forty seven percent of gen Z ors said they planned
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: to leave their current job within the year. So you know,
- 1:40:58Speaker 4: gen Z's got like a short average career commitment. But
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: I don't I don't ever fault anybody for that, because
- 1:41:04Speaker 4: guess what, the company doesn't care either. How could you
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: if if the company cares?
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: I mean really truly honestly, we see all the time.
- 1:41:12Speaker 4: You want to see what you want to see? What
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: not a big deal looks like? Come hang out here,
- 1:41:17Speaker 4: just to even like alter ego, I want to say,
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: what not a big deal looks like? Like we're hosting
- 1:41:22Speaker 4: the show and nobody could be bothered with us. Yeah,
- 1:41:27Speaker 4: and it's fine because we're there working and we don't
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: expect anything like that. But it's just it's just interesting
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: to see the company doesn't care. You know, they'll they'll
- 1:41:36Speaker 4: be smiles and they'll shake your hand or give you
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: like a half assed hug or whatever. I think these
- 1:41:41Speaker 4: people really care about me or care about us at all,
- 1:41:44Speaker 4: just to know and have us ask for something. I'm
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: I'm just saying, no, I really, I really don't like
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: And until we hit that balancing point of we are
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: not important to them for whatever that we're out and
- 1:41:59Speaker 4: that's just a it's not going to be Oh, all
- 1:42:01Speaker 4: the goodwill or all the hard work, or your year's
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: worth of a track record that you had with them, whatever,
- 1:42:07Speaker 4: whatever the case might be, like none of that stuff
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: matters the minute you become you know, not useful to them,
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: not not even not useful, but like inconvenient or like it's.
- 1:42:18Speaker 8: It's it's financially unappealing.
- 1:42:19Speaker 4: Yeah, they don't nobody, they don't really care.
- 1:42:21Speaker 9: And I know that, and I and I understand that
- 1:42:24Speaker 9: everybody should know that because you hear it when people say, like,
- 1:42:27Speaker 9: in any industry.
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: All they care about is the profits.
- 1:42:31Speaker 9: Yes, well it's business, that's yeah, every business that exists.
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: But people get people get suckered.
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: They go, oh, well, you know, here, it's a family
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: unless it's a family business and your last name is
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: their last name. But even then, I mean there are
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: family members who get booted out. There's a friend of mine.
- 1:42:48Speaker 4: He owned the pool company and it was him, his brother,
- 1:42:51Speaker 4: and his two sisters that ran this company. They kicked
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: the sister out. Oh really yeah because she was paying
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: the ass. Yeah, yeah, she was paying the ass and
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: so the family business, your last name is their last name,
- 1:43:02Speaker 4: and she still got fired. You've got to go, yeah,
- 1:43:06Speaker 4: there is this other thing I saw, because this is
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: another thing that they will There are a lot of
- 1:43:10Speaker 4: companies that will sucker you into thinking that things are
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: one way when it's really not. Have you seen like
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: now they are offering certain companies are offering unlimited PTO.
- 1:43:20Speaker 8: Oh yeah, yeah, a lot of places, you know, But yeah,
- 1:43:23Speaker 8: what is that really exactly right?
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: So there's this woman, she's an HR person. She broke
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: it down, so she is one of those videos where
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: she's playing both sides. She's playing the HR person, but
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: she's also playing the employer. The employer are the employee. Okay, yeah,
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: but it just like what a scam. It's just names
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: and smoking mirrors to get people.
- 1:43:42Speaker 19: To the Do you have an unlimited PTO policy?
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:43:45Speaker 8: So I can take every Friday off?
- 1:43:47Speaker 19: Well no, but what about a week of vacation every month?
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: No, it still needs to be reasonable.
- 1:43:52Speaker 19: So a month off every year for a longer holiday,
- 1:43:54Speaker 19: that is not something we would be open to.
- 1:43:56Speaker 8: So then how is it unlimited?
- 1:43:58Speaker 19: But you don't have a set number of days per year,
- 1:44:01Speaker 19: so you don't have to pay employees out if they
- 1:44:02Speaker 19: go unused.
- 1:44:03Speaker 4: There it is, but in not.
- 1:44:04Speaker 19: Having PTO as part of total compensation, there's no guarantee
- 1:44:08Speaker 19: of what will be approved for your time off, and it's.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: Up to your manager's discretion. Yes, your manager would need
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: to approve it.
- 1:44:14Speaker 19: Well, then you have the employees that feel guilty for
- 1:44:16Speaker 19: taking too many days off, so they end up taking.
- 1:44:18Speaker 8: Less than they would if they had a set number
- 1:44:20Speaker 8: of days.
- 1:44:20Speaker 19: I guess perhaps, and then the employees with more accommodating
- 1:44:24Speaker 19: managers will benefit from being approved to take more days.
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: I'm confused as to where you're going with this.
- 1:44:29Speaker 19: I just want to ensure I'm understanding the whole picture
- 1:44:31Speaker 19: of unlimited PTO behind the flashing name.
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: Yeah, uh huh, there you go.
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: Yeah, the companies don't have to pay you for what
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: they are in to day is if you have again
- 1:44:40Speaker 4: a number of days. Yeah, especially if you live in
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: a state where those those days carry over, right, Yeah,
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: which a lot of places it's useder lose it, but
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: there are other states where it just rolls over and
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: then when you leave, they have to pay you on
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: those unused days hours. However, it's calculatd.
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: It's all up to because I know plenty of people
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: in the tech world that have that kind of setup.
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: And again, exactly what she said, it's all up to
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: you if your manager is cool or not. You know
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: what it is.
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: It's when your wife says to you yeah, sure, go ahead.
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: You no do it?
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: Go ahead. It's almost like a dare right, and you're like, oh,
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: yeah I did when my wife. When my wife only
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: told me like, go ahead and take flight lessons, I'm like, hmmm,
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: I don't think she means that. And I'm like, all right,
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna. I'm gonna do it.
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna.
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: I'm gonna sign up. Okay, yeah, go for it. All right,
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: I'm signing up. I'm gonna I'm gonna take these flight lessons.
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: Yeah you should like I should like you're daring me, like, yeah.
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: Oh we have unloaded time. But yeah, you can take
- 1:45:47Speaker 4: those things. Fine, Like they said, people they'll be nervous
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: about it, like, oh I want to seem like I'm
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: taking advantage. They they'll take less than what they would
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: normally get if they had a certain.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: Number of yep.
- 1:45:57Speaker 12: And I read something saying statistically, people with unlimited PTO
- 1:46:00Speaker 12: do take less days.
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, the house always wins.
- 1:46:03Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, they wouldn't do it if they didn't.
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: Yeah, the house always wins. Right, that's just how that's
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: just that's how the system's built.
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: But it sounds so nice, it sounds great, curious.
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: Yeah, eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You can send
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: us a text check in with us over to two
- 1:46:20Speaker 4: two nine eighty seven More Woody Shows next.
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: Hang on, We'll be right back the Woody Show.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: And then I'll announced the Woody Show meet Up, which
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: is happening at Brewery X in Anaheim Saturday, February the
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: twenty first. It's from three pm to five pm.
- 1:46:45Speaker 14: And I mean it's just an.
- 1:46:47Speaker 4: Opportunity for you to come see everybody from the Woody
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: Show and for us to see you and thank you
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: for listening. And we're gonna have a drink or two,
- 1:46:55Speaker 4: right Grant, Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll have some other and
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: stuff that we're giving away. I'm working on a couple
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: of other elements for this that hopefully i'll be able
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: to let you know about soon. But it's free. It's
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: a free meet up. We're calling it the meat market,
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: like we're meeting up, so M E E T meet Yeah.
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: But anyway, we'll see you at Brewery X in Anaheim
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: on Saturday, February the twenty first, The Woody Show. Welcome
- 1:47:23Speaker 4: back everybody. So yeah, like I said, it's like over
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: the holiday break that I stopped not on purpose, but
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: I just found myself that it wasn't because it wasn't working.
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: We're having to come in here and talk about stuff.
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: I wasn't really paying much attention to the news news,
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: and that's really kind of hung in there so far,
- 1:47:46Speaker 4: three weeks in, three weeks into a new year, and
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: not really not really caring much, not I mean not
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: very little interest in general.
- 1:47:57Speaker 9: I know, when we're on a break, like I said,
- 1:47:59Speaker 9: the world explode, I wouldn't know about it. Yeah, I
- 1:48:01Speaker 9: got back, and then and then.
- 1:48:02Speaker 4: Greg was just saying that there's something that he says
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: he's going to try. He's setting out to try to
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: care less about this, and.
- 1:48:11Speaker 9: It might be a defeatist attitude, like an excuse, right
- 1:48:14Speaker 9: because you know why probably I.
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: Do know why, go ahead, tell everybody what it is.
- 1:48:19Speaker 9: So I'm gonna try really hard, not just this this
- 1:48:23Speaker 9: like right now, but forever more to care less about
- 1:48:26Speaker 9: the NFL. Why because the Niners they didn't just lose,
- 1:48:31Speaker 9: they got detroyed, Yeah, embarrassed. And then it's I tell
- 1:48:36Speaker 9: myself every year when they inevitably let me down, you know,
- 1:48:40Speaker 9: they don't pay your salary, they don't know you, they
- 1:48:42Speaker 9: don't care about you. But it's it's so difficult to
- 1:48:46Speaker 9: not care.
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: So here's here's what's just interesting about that. I feel
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: like Greg, like if you would ask me like one
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: of the things that Greg is really into that he
- 1:48:54Speaker 4: really cares about, Like, I would never even have football
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: in the conversation I love. As the season is going on,
- 1:49:01Speaker 4: I never hear you mentioned the Niners, Like, well, yeah,
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: you're never really talking about oh man, this weekend, dude,
- 1:49:07Speaker 4: this game has got me like all nervous. I really
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: want blah blah blah.
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: Like I'm not saying you are, but you sound like
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: a Bandwagon fan when you start talking about them when
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: they're in the playoffs.
- 1:49:16Speaker 9: Really, no, I know he's a fan's Yeah, Niners are
- 1:49:19Speaker 9: the only team that I've well, no, I take this back.
- 1:49:21Speaker 9: There's two teams that I've actually cried over losses, and
- 1:49:24Speaker 9: I've cried of over wins too.
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: Niners.
- 1:49:27Speaker 9: And there's my former favorite hockey team, the Sharks, that
- 1:49:32Speaker 9: I would cry when they won, cry when they lost.
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: I remember you talking more about hockey years ago.
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: Years ago.
- 1:49:38Speaker 9: I haven't watched hockey in years. I would be mega
- 1:49:40Speaker 9: lying if I said I cared about all of the
- 1:49:42Speaker 9: time we said who is Greg a fan of? Like
- 1:49:44Speaker 9: what football team? I would say the Niners.
- 1:49:46Speaker 4: But honestly, I think it's gonna be a very easy
- 1:49:48Speaker 4: thing for you, because I think you don't spend a
- 1:49:50Speaker 4: lot of time thinking you're talking about it anyway.
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: Like in the past.
- 1:49:53Speaker 9: I remember there was this one time, and I don't
- 1:49:55Speaker 9: remember the exact situation, but I was at a bar
- 1:49:58Speaker 9: watching the Niner game with a bunch of friends. There
- 1:50:00Speaker 9: was a huge power outage and it affected the game
- 1:50:03Speaker 9: as well. Oh so I had time to get on
- 1:50:06Speaker 9: public transit and go back to my house, and I
- 1:50:09Speaker 9: was panicked that I would miss like five seconds of
- 1:50:11Speaker 9: the game.
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: I was crying and stuff.
- 1:50:13Speaker 9: And then, especially in the last few years, football is
- 1:50:17Speaker 9: really what my dad and I talk about. That's like
- 1:50:20Speaker 9: the saving grace between us, because you know, you have
- 1:50:22Speaker 9: a call home and you're like, knock to your name, Hey,
- 1:50:25Speaker 9: dad is mom there?
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: That's about it? How are you doing? His mom there?
- 1:50:29Speaker 9: And football is like what we talked about, what we
- 1:50:31Speaker 9: text about, what we care about. And then when the
- 1:50:33Speaker 9: Niners just got destroyed, I thought, you know what, I
- 1:50:38Speaker 9: got to remind myself they don't it's not my job.
- 1:50:41Speaker 4: Hey, I don't have to take on that stress football
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: adjacent only because I learned about it in connection with
- 1:50:47Speaker 4: the coverage of one of the games. But the Bears
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: and the Rams were in Chicago, they played. It was snowing,
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: snowing for both games, snowing for the Patriots game, snowing
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: for the Bears game.
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: It was so cold in Chicago.
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: I guess that the Rams players, according to the reports,
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: if you believe the reports, they had cayenne pepper that
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: they had put in their socks. What as a way
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: to keep them warm? That's my question?
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: Does that work?
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: Like if you're going out camping, or you're going out
- 1:51:14Speaker 4: and doing something you know you're gonna be you're going
- 1:51:16Speaker 4: out to a game or something you know it's gonna
- 1:51:18Speaker 4: be freezing as cold. They say it works because there's
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: something in the cayenne pepper that it widens the blood vessels,
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: so it helps with the blood flow and causes that
- 1:51:27Speaker 4: warming sensation. Now, it will stain your socks red, but
- 1:51:32Speaker 4: I mean, who care cares?
- 1:51:33Speaker 8: But wouldn't it burn?
- 1:51:35Speaker 4: I mean right concentration? Oh, speaking speaking of which, I
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: got some of that hemorrhoid spray that you talked about.
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: The way that I was talked about it.
- 1:51:44Speaker 4: I felt like I was gonna be putting a flamethrower
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: on my butthole, and it's it's preparation. H makes it.
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: It's got in there, okay.
- 1:51:54Speaker 4: And so first of all, the spray for something that
- 1:51:58Speaker 4: you're supposed to do yourself in that area, not think
- 1:52:02Speaker 4: think about convenience as far as like the aim goes,
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: because you gotta get the cheek spread and you gotta
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: spray it.
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: Come with like a mirror on the spray.
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: Long story short, it basically just felt like putting like
- 1:52:16Speaker 4: an icy hot on your butthole.
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: It wasn't You didn't hit the ceiling.
- 1:52:20Speaker 4: It was at seventh circle of like your kulo on
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: a volcano, thinking what. It didn't feel like super hot
- 1:52:27Speaker 4: or super anything. It was like there was that that
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: that kind of like that icy hot sensation. Maybe your
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: butthole is in really bad shape mining leather from all
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: the action, Yeah, yours are.
- 1:52:38Speaker 8: Your buttle is already destroyed apparently.
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: But you said it was like fire man.
- 1:52:44Speaker 4: It is. That's the way he sold about figuring, Hey,
- 1:52:46Speaker 4: if it works, I'll try it out.
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: It's like putting a lighter on It wasn't that bad.
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: Probably wiped too hard, shredded down. You know what else
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: I liked about it?
- 1:52:55Speaker 4: Yeah, what else I liked about it is that like
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: when you do have a sensation of that, like it's
- 1:53:00Speaker 4: something's working. Yeah, you feel like something's happening, like something's
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: working your butt.
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:53:06Speaker 4: I just, uh, you know, I just I wanted this
- 1:53:08Speaker 4: swelling of this thing to go down. But anyway, if
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: I can put Coyne Pepper on there, I'd try that,
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: I'll do it. Anything is like working about uh, you know,
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: it keeps you know, your feet warmer.
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: But why not? Yeah, Cayenne Pepper, let's go. Couldn't hurt.
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: It's going to Cone, Yeah, couldn't hurt. At eight seven
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: seven forty four Wooding, I want to call in. Send
- 1:53:26Speaker 4: us a text over to two to two nine eight
