- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists
- 0:06Speaker 1: this week on the show. You don't know them, you
- 0:08Speaker 1: don't love them, but they're the reason that the people
- 0:11Speaker 1: you know and love are doing what they do.
- 0:13Speaker 2: That's right. This week we're talking to assistance.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Assistants play a crucial role in Hollywood in getting the
- 0:20Speaker 3: people that they work for to certain places at certain times.
- 0:27Speaker 4: So get that text ready, make a call in and
- 0:31Speaker 4: wake them up at any point in the morning. Let's
- 0:34Speaker 4: listen it.
- 0:39Speaker 5: Hi, Hey, wow, what is everybody?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Great to see everybody.
- 0:43Speaker 5: This is so exciting, this is great.
- 0:45Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, you feel so crazy. I don't have
- 0:46Speaker 6: my phone.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Yeah, this is I'm going to get in a lot
- 0:49Speaker 4: of trouble.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I locked it in a box, Like I literally locked
- 0:52Speaker 3: it in a box.
- 0:53Speaker 6: And I locked it in a box.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm so jealous. I can't do that. I'm not allowed
- 0:56Speaker 2: to do that. I'm so jealous. I do have my
- 0:58Speaker 2: phone on me.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I'm gonna be honest with you. You got it in,
- 1:01Speaker 4: you got it in, got.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It and then let me Yeah, let's be honest. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: think we've all had a sneak our phone in the
- 1:05Speaker 1: place we weren't supposed to have them.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I did have to.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Sneak my phone in and I let's just say, don't touch.
- 1:10Speaker 3: It now that we're being honest, I did bring the
- 1:14Speaker 3: key to the lock that has my phone in it.
- 1:17Speaker 6: I couldn't.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I couldn't not, I couldn't note.
- 1:20Speaker 7: Now what we're being honest, I'll also say I have
- 1:22Speaker 7: a hearing aid in and it's not so I can
- 1:24Speaker 7: hear you guys, So I can hear my boss.
- 1:26Speaker 5: So you have been like an in ear for it's
- 1:30Speaker 5: not an aid.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Yeah, And if you're being honest, I actually have a
- 1:33Speaker 4: second phone in my shoe that I can get out
- 1:35Speaker 4: at any point. I just have to cut my shoe open.
- 1:37Speaker 4: But it's ready. If it buzzes, it's ready, so.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Whenever, honest, I do have Google contact lenses. So yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 3: I am checking emails.
- 1:44Speaker 2: But it's so good to not be worrying about work.
- 1:49Speaker 4: So awesome, so crazy, so crazy.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Man, here's a crazy pitch.
- 1:58Speaker 3: What if we took eight second phone break, just ten seconds.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Right now, just right now, to.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Get it out of the way so we never have
- 2:07Speaker 5: to look at it again.
- 2:08Speaker 7: See that's so funny because that tells me a lot
- 2:10Speaker 7: about who you're the assistant to because if I took
- 2:13Speaker 7: ten seconds, there's no way it's going to be ten seconds.
- 2:16Speaker 7: If I make myself available, I'm making my night available
- 2:19Speaker 7: right right, right right.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I think we're good. I think we're good right now.
- 2:23Speaker 5: We won't do it, then, we won't do it.
- 2:26Speaker 7: Ten seconds to me is a drive to the delia,
- 2:28Speaker 7: and I don't have it in me.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I mean, you guys blocked it out right, like you
- 2:32Speaker 1: blocked out this time. We're allowed to, We're allowed to
- 2:34Speaker 1: take time to ourselves.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Of course.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I read this book about something called self care but lately,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and it's like really awesome because you can you actually
- 2:41Speaker 1: are allowed to care about yourself.
- 2:42Speaker 2: So I think it's important that we do that.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally. And I try to block it
- 2:47Speaker 4: out on the calendar, but I don't think they even look.
- 2:49Speaker 3: At the calendar, because I'm I'm putting it on his calendar,
- 2:52Speaker 3: but he doesn't look at the calendar. It's my job
- 2:55Speaker 3: to look at the calendaring it out for myself exactly.
- 2:58Speaker 1: My boss does look at the calendar because they do
- 3:01Speaker 1: figure out what I do wrong on it.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So they're definitely looking. They're definitely looking.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Okay, well, who's your boss? Who's your boss? Well, I
- 3:08Speaker 4: am the what's your name? What's your name? Who's your boss?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, yeah, I'll get to it. I'm circling back
- 3:14Speaker 2: to that. Okay.
- 3:15Speaker 1: My name is Scottie Stevens and I am the executive
- 3:21Speaker 1: assistant to Diana Bacon. She is the president of Superstar Pictures,
- 3:30Speaker 1: recently acquired by Lionsgate for its ambitious, independent rogue style.
- 3:37Speaker 1: She is really, really, really incredible. Diana is a superstar herself,
- 3:44Speaker 1: and it's awesome to be involved.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And she's she's so cool.
- 3:49Speaker 1: She's teaching a lot about her assistant for three and
- 3:52Speaker 1: a half years.
- 3:53Speaker 4: That's great. And I've heard of her and she's great.
- 3:56Speaker 4: I've heard of her. She's great.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It's a tough desk. It's a tough desk. It's a
- 3:59Speaker 2: hard desk, but it's it's a good desk.
- 4:01Speaker 1: The stuff we're getting to do I'm really excited about
- 4:03Speaker 1: and it's really amazing. And I don't know how she
- 4:05Speaker 1: fits it all in in the day. Well, I mean
- 4:07Speaker 1: I do know, because I'm the one who coordinates her day.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But man, she is working. She's working.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Diana is a really impressive woman, and so are you.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Okay, Well I'll go next. I am Melissa Sarah.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I am the assistant at the desk of Agent Powerhouse,
- 4:24Speaker 3: Debbie Cats.
- 4:25Speaker 5: I've been working with her for six months now and
- 4:31Speaker 5: it's it's a lot, it's a lot, but it's fantastic.
- 4:34Speaker 3: It's such a great experience and I can't wait to,
- 4:38Speaker 3: you know, continue to learn from her and continue to grow.
- 4:43Speaker 5: And I just love it. I love every second of
- 4:46Speaker 5: it totally.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, you do love it.
- 4:48Speaker 6: I love it.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I can tell you love it. I can. I know.
- 4:51Speaker 5: It's so it's so good.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Every second of it is really good, so rewarding, and
- 4:56Speaker 3: it's so rewarding, and I'm learning so much.
- 4:59Speaker 2: We've been ever met in person, but I've emailed you
- 5:02Speaker 2: a lot. Yeah, we've been.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And you are the fastest replier. I think I
- 5:06Speaker 1: actually have ever worked.
- 5:07Speaker 3: With my my my words, permit it is. It's it's
- 5:11Speaker 3: two hundred on a computer and three hundred on an iPhone.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Wow, that's nute, that's insane.
- 5:19Speaker 5: So I'm fast, I'm speedy.
- 5:21Speaker 6: That's crazy awesome.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Well, hi guys, my name is Jimmy Joan and I
- 5:29Speaker 4: am the assistant for Miley Cyrus's friends and animals. It's
- 5:34Speaker 4: a great, great job, all of them, all of her friends.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Miley does this really fun thing where she lets her
- 5:40Speaker 4: assistant or her friends have an assistant, and also all
- 5:45Speaker 4: of her animals. And she is such a nuts she
- 5:47Speaker 4: has so many animals. It's such a it's such a
- 5:49Speaker 4: wild and crazy time.
- 5:51Speaker 3: So do they like block off certain times where you
- 5:54Speaker 3: are their assistant? Like do is it like a timeshare
- 5:57Speaker 3: where the friends get them on kind of.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Like shooting all the time. It's kind of like a
- 6:01Speaker 4: running gun, like they just you know, text me all
- 6:03Speaker 4: the time. It's really fun and really silly because sometimes
- 6:07Speaker 4: you know, I'm trying to be Jennifer's assistant, and then
- 6:10Speaker 4: I have to be Milo's assistant, and you know, sometimes
- 6:13Speaker 4: they're in a fight, they're breaking up, and I have
- 6:15Speaker 4: to be both of their assistants and deal with that.
- 6:17Speaker 6: You can't possibly be full time for all those people.
- 6:20Speaker 4: I am full time for all of them, but they
- 6:23Speaker 4: counted as part time for all so I'm just getting
- 6:26Speaker 4: paid as Miley's assistant. But she's kind of you know,
- 6:28Speaker 4: made me all of their assistants plus her animals assistant.
- 6:30Speaker 4: So no health insurance, no health insurance, no definitely not. No,
- 6:33Speaker 4: definitely not. Her pets do have health insurance, but I
- 6:36Speaker 4: do not have health insurance.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 4: It's so wacky, you know, just getting into the world
- 6:40Speaker 4: of Miley and just understanding like she's such an artist
- 6:44Speaker 4: and she's such a great person. So she has a
- 6:46Speaker 4: main assistant that's just for her, and then I'm kind
- 6:48Speaker 4: of that sub assistant that's for her friends and animals.
- 6:52Speaker 4: So yeah, it's it's a wild and crazy world out
- 6:54Speaker 4: here in Hollywood.
- 6:56Speaker 6: That's crazy. Hey, guys, I'm Tyler.
- 7:01Speaker 7: And I'm the assistant for Darlene Sachs Weber, Andrew Lloyd
- 7:07Speaker 7: Weber's wife.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Do you get a lot of activity.
- 7:12Speaker 6: At that job. Yeah.
- 7:15Speaker 7: She may not be busy with work, but boy is
- 7:17Speaker 7: she busy with her demands.
- 7:21Speaker 4: So I.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Graduated m y U.
- 7:26Speaker 7: And I just I wanted to get into Broadway producing.
- 7:34Speaker 6: I'm just Tyler.
- 7:39Speaker 5: That's awesome.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that's really cool.
- 7:41Speaker 2: So you live in New York City. Yeah, that's really cool. Man.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I've been in New York a bunch of times. Really fine.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, it's been meaning to go out there.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 7: Darlene splits her time between New York City and uh h,
- 7:53Speaker 7: New York City and Fort Lauderdale.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Oh yeah, because that's where Andrew Lloyd Webbers lives half
- 7:58Speaker 4: the year, right tax Savan and Fort Lauderdae, not London.
- 8:02Speaker 7: No, well Andrew does. Darlene has a mind of her own,
- 8:08Speaker 7: meaning a condo of her own where she does stuff
- 8:11Speaker 7: that I really can't.
- 8:13Speaker 6: I can't.
- 8:14Speaker 7: I'm so nervous because I have so many secrets.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Right, that's right.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I think all of us nobody's breaking their NDA today.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Is that we are inherently all about to break our NDA.
- 8:28Speaker 3: It's kind of like a very deep way. And so
- 8:30Speaker 3: I am a little anxious about that.
- 8:32Speaker 4: And I just want to say I shouldn't have said
- 8:33Speaker 4: that Jennifer and Milo had a breakup. That was actually
- 8:35Speaker 4: wrong of me. That's under India. And I know they did.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Promise not to release this for six months, so that
- 8:40Speaker 3: gives us time to uh set.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Our affairs in order and run if we need to.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and six months from now is when Diana said,
- 8:49Speaker 1: technically I was potentially going to become a producer of
- 8:52Speaker 1: the company. So at that point that's a different that's
- 8:55Speaker 1: a different type of NDA. So so that's that that
- 8:58Speaker 1: doesn't cover it. So this to come out. Then we
- 9:00Speaker 1: can attractively make sure it works and we can figure
- 9:03Speaker 1: that out.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So I'm all good, yeah, good.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Every every four months, my contract, the assistance contract for
- 9:09Speaker 3: DeBie is on a R or P basis, so basically
- 9:14Speaker 3: a rehire or promote, rehire a promote, So like she
- 9:22Speaker 3: has to she has to press a button and then
- 9:25Speaker 3: figure out like what where you go next? But it's
- 9:29Speaker 3: like a hard deadline like first of the month. On
- 9:32Speaker 3: that fourth month, like she is making the decision if
- 9:34Speaker 3: you're staying or if you're going up, and so that's
- 9:37Speaker 3: coming up for.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Man, that's only there's only two options there.
- 9:40Speaker 3: There's only two options. So sometimes you can So here's
- 9:44Speaker 3: the thing. You can get rehired again, but you can't
- 9:47Speaker 3: do it in consecutive cycles. So you can audition again
- 9:50Speaker 3: to be her assistant.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Do you have to audition?
- 9:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a contemporary and a Shakespeare.
- 9:58Speaker 4: That's in crazy monogue, your monogue. I do it, she says.
- 10:03Speaker 3: You can tell everything you need to know about a
- 10:05Speaker 3: person and the way what kind of agent they'll be
- 10:07Speaker 3: based on what they.
- 10:08Speaker 7: Donolge but what they do with Shakespeare, Yeah, based on
- 10:12Speaker 7: what they do with Shakespeare.
- 10:13Speaker 3: So I did I atee the divorce papers ketchup or Charles,
- 10:17Speaker 3: I hate them with ketchup.
- 10:18Speaker 2: That monologue Christopher Durang, What is which monologue is that?
- 10:25Speaker 5: Well, I mean, nobody knows where this monologue is from.
- 10:28Speaker 4: We all just know it.
- 10:29Speaker 5: It's I hate the.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Divorce papers, Charles, I hate them with ketchup and they
- 10:33Speaker 3: tasted good good.
- 10:35Speaker 6: I win. That's Christopher Durank.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I've never known who said it or what.
- 10:42Speaker 5: These words have just been in my bones for years,
- 10:44Speaker 5: so I I didn't.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Even have to memorize or anything.
- 10:47Speaker 7: You know, it's just in me so refreshing to like
- 10:51Speaker 7: have a reevaluation. Darlene just looks at me and goes, you're.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Never getting ready naked, that's fine.
- 10:57Speaker 7: And when she says that, it's just like it's so
- 10:59Speaker 7: hard to like toure a future or life, you know,
- 11:01Speaker 7: because you're just.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Being Tyler just been her assistant.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Uh so it's been six months now, wow wow? Yeah?
- 11:11Speaker 6: And yeah, I just she caught me when I was
- 11:14Speaker 6: on my skateboard. I ran into her down skateboarding down Manhattan.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Believe it or not, think what an n YU student
- 11:25Speaker 4: thing to do, especially when trying to.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Find Brooklyn because I'm just like sometimes I'm like insane.
- 11:30Speaker 7: I'm just like, I'm Tyler and uh I I she
- 11:35Speaker 7: had an umbrella sticking out and my skateboard went over
- 11:39Speaker 7: her umbrella and somehow caused her to trip, and ever
- 11:45Speaker 7: since then, she's never getting rid of me.
- 11:47Speaker 6: But it sounds nice that you could like reevaluate.
- 11:49Speaker 3: So was she kind of angry when she hired you
- 11:52Speaker 3: off the skateboard? Like does it seem like a revenge
- 11:55Speaker 3: sort of thing or was this like you have potential?
- 11:57Speaker 7: It was kind of like you know in uh, Beauty
- 12:01Speaker 7: and the Beast that movie when the old lady gives
- 12:05Speaker 7: him a rose and he becomes a beast. It seems
- 12:08Speaker 7: like ever since I ran into Darlene, I've gotten caught
- 12:13Speaker 7: in a web of my own. And my friends just
- 12:17Speaker 7: keep going to Tyler, you're being Kyler, and I go,
- 12:22Speaker 7: I don't.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Know when this is gonna end.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Are you gonna cry?
- 12:25Speaker 4: Man? You're right?
- 12:27Speaker 6: Nope, So you're you're so You're okay, right, No, I'm
- 12:32Speaker 6: really fine.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Forgive me.
- 12:34Speaker 7: Sometimes when I talk about my job, I get a
- 12:36Speaker 7: little little emotional. Man.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Assistant is an emotional job. We put ourselves out there.
- 12:41Speaker 1: We work really, really hard, and sometimes you feel invisible.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Sometimes you feel like nobody is looking for you. Sometimes
- 12:48Speaker 1: you feel like you're stuck in a specific place. I'm actively,
- 12:51Speaker 1: very radically open with Diana Bacon.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Me and her. We share a really tight relationship everything.
- 12:58Speaker 1: She's radical in the way that she wants me to
- 13:01Speaker 1: tell her every single thing that's going on. Every single thing.
- 13:04Speaker 1: So I have to text here all the feelings that
- 13:07Speaker 1: I have every time I have them. Oh wow, I
- 13:09Speaker 1: have to kind of compile them to one text today.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So I keep a feelings journal and then they send
- 13:13Speaker 1: them at the end of the day of how I feel,
- 13:15Speaker 1: so she knows where I'm at. She really cares about
- 13:18Speaker 1: everything I'm up to all the time. She wants to
- 13:20Speaker 1: make sure that what I'm doing reflects on her and
- 13:22Speaker 1: that it all works out in order to make sure
- 13:24Speaker 1: the Superstar Pictures is exactly what it needs to be.
- 13:27Speaker 1: We have a really close relationship. I would consider her
- 13:29Speaker 1: my best friend. I would consider her my mother, I
- 13:31Speaker 1: would consider her my confidant. I would consider her my ride.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Or die right now, that's insane. I love hearing that.
- 13:38Speaker 4: That reminds me of my relationship with Motorbike.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Motorbike in person or an animal.
- 13:43Speaker 4: It's an animal. It's Miley Cyrus's Golden Retriever, and he
- 13:46Speaker 4: is wild. He's a blast, very demanding as a dog.
- 13:49Speaker 4: But I just feel like I can really really I don't.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Know what he's demanding.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Oh so, basically what happens is he'll be running running
- 13:58Speaker 4: around the house because Mile just every morning, we'll just
- 14:01Speaker 4: let all the dogs out and all the animals out,
- 14:03Speaker 4: and it's just a fun game we do. I have
- 14:05Speaker 4: to kind of like collect them all in the morning.
- 14:07Speaker 7: Oh god, I imagine her assistant, her personal assistance there
- 14:12Speaker 7: doing things.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Meanwhile, you have to find all those dogs.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Well I heard about this through a little bit of
- 14:16Speaker 2: assistant gossips.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Facebook group.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I love Awesome assistms.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I was so sad on an Awesome Assistance with legitimately
- 14:25Speaker 1: shut down because they shared the Joker script.
- 14:30Speaker 2: So sad about awesome so sad.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I can't believe somebody shared the Joker script a year
- 14:35Speaker 1: before the Joker came out.
- 14:36Speaker 2: On Awesome Assistance rooted for all of us.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Okay, but there still is the housing one.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's very useful.
- 14:41Speaker 4: It's really help It's super useful.
- 14:43Speaker 2: It's really helpful. What I want to tell you, man.
- 14:45Speaker 6: You gotta be fearful. In the Housing group, they release
- 14:47Speaker 6: scripts too.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's why you always have to check.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Well, they don't release it, they use it as kind
- 14:54Speaker 4: of like two bedroom fifteen hundred. Also you'll get the
- 14:56Speaker 4: script of pride and prejudice.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you, bro. When I heard
- 14:59Speaker 1: Joker Too coming on, I said, let's brace. Let's brace
- 15:02Speaker 1: Awesome Asistance Housing because I can't lose another.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I see you posting all the time saying no Joker
- 15:08Speaker 4: I script here. No, it's pinnedrimned that group.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Well, Diana does it with me. Dana wants to be
- 15:15Speaker 2: involved sitting down.
- 15:16Speaker 1: She likes to go on my social media with me
- 15:18Speaker 1: to see what I'm seeing, to make sure that I'm
- 15:20Speaker 1: seeing aligns with her vision. What I wanted to say
- 15:23Speaker 1: about what I saw on the Awesome Assistance Group, huh
- 15:26Speaker 1: is I saw that Miley cyrus Uh trained all of
- 15:30Speaker 1: her dogs with dog buttons. But they're only assistant.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Orders, right, So if you know Bunny the dog on TikTok,
- 15:35Speaker 4: it's very similar to that. So they all have they
- 15:38Speaker 4: all the animals have different sets of buttons with demands
- 15:41Speaker 4: and wants and needs, and there's no pleases or thank you,
- 15:44Speaker 4: so it's just mostly one word things like treat, treat, treat, treat, treat, food, food,
- 15:47Speaker 4: food food food, walk, walk, p p p p P bark, bark, bark, attack, attack, attack,
- 15:51Speaker 4: attack smooth is a button for bark. Yeah, that's the
- 15:56Speaker 4: one thing they have got.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Well, that's a motorbike.
- 15:58Speaker 4: It never barks. Whatt If Michael never bark, he'll just
- 16:01Speaker 4: hit the button a lot, He'll hit the bark button.
- 16:05Speaker 4: What his ear of bark? But no, there's a bark
- 16:09Speaker 4: button because sometimes the dog ones meet a bark, and
- 16:11Speaker 4: that's what I can imagine. They're trying to bark, bark, bark, bark, bark,
- 16:16Speaker 4: Like motorbike will always be pressing this bark bark button.
- 16:19Speaker 4: But then uh, Skuyler, one of her favorite bunnies, will
- 16:22Speaker 4: hit the bark button for me to bark for me.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Okay, that makes sense because for me, if I were
- 16:26Speaker 1: to be making dog buttons, I'd be getting dog bark
- 16:29Speaker 1: buttons because I'm asking what are the dogs thinking? And
- 16:31Speaker 1: I don't think that the dogs are thinking bark, you
- 16:33Speaker 1: know what I mean. I imagine they're saying something with
- 16:35Speaker 1: their bark.
- 16:36Speaker 4: So you wouldn't believe how many times dogs are thinking bark.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I've never.
- 16:43Speaker 7: You know, I've never really thought that when a dog
- 16:46Speaker 7: is barking, he might be trying to communicate to me bark.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's sounds a huge blind spot we have.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I think you're so wrapped up in the industry that
- 16:55Speaker 3: we don't think about sometimes people say what they mean. Yes,
- 16:58Speaker 3: when we when were someone say let's get lunch, we
- 17:01Speaker 3: know that that means like, hey, how are you?
- 17:03Speaker 5: We're never going to get lunch.
- 17:04Speaker 7: But like you know what, sometimes bark means barresh.
- 17:09Speaker 2: It's so refreshing, man, Just say what you mean, what
- 17:12Speaker 2: you say, you.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Say, that's what That's what animals are there like straight
- 17:16Speaker 6: to the punch. And it's crazy that we've been hearing
- 17:19Speaker 6: them bark and we think it's something.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Else, such a human thing. It's such a human thing
- 17:24Speaker 4: to think that your dogs are speaking to you when
- 17:26Speaker 4: actually they just mean bark.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Diana's going to be thrilled when I tell her about this.
- 17:30Speaker 4: She's going to be fantastic.
- 17:32Speaker 1: We're working on a movie about dogs right now that
- 17:34Speaker 1: I can't talk about it at all. But let's just
- 17:35Speaker 1: say a dog is involved, and this movie features dogs,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and this is something that involves dogs.
- 17:42Speaker 2: She's gonna be happy to hear it.
- 17:43Speaker 3: That's awesome, amazing, I will say, Debbie and I have
- 17:46Speaker 3: sort of a say, a similar system to the buttons thing,
- 17:49Speaker 3: where I'll just pick up the phone when she calls
- 17:51Speaker 3: and she'll say email, and I'll have.
- 17:53Speaker 5: To figure out what that means.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Oh no, And so we have to go through a
- 17:57Speaker 3: series of like it's almost like an algorithm where I
- 18:00Speaker 3: have to ask, okay, from who, and then she'll say client,
- 18:06Speaker 3: and then I just have to rattle off names. Yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 3: and it the timer of how fast I have to
- 18:12Speaker 3: respond keeps going down and down and down and down
- 18:14Speaker 3: and down until I have to figure out what's going on.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Do you figure it out?
- 18:18Speaker 5: You have a lot of the time.
- 18:20Speaker 6: Yeah. Good, it's a lot of putting together context clues.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Yeah, this is actually really based on that. You know
- 18:28Speaker 1: that I was thinking about the times Maybe you didn't
- 18:29Speaker 1: figure that out. This is a difficult thing to talk about.
- 18:33Speaker 1: How do your bosses punish you for doing things wrong?
- 18:36Speaker 4: Oh? Man, that's a really good question.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And I say punished, which is a harsh word, but
- 18:42Speaker 1: it is exactly what I mean because bosses two assistants
- 18:45Speaker 1: typically punish them. Yeah, ones, we do things wrong, this
- 18:49Speaker 1: is their life that we're toying with.
- 18:50Speaker 4: The if you're not an assistant messing up once a week,
- 18:54Speaker 4: I mean you're an amazing assistant if you're only messing
- 18:56Speaker 4: up once a week, because this job is tax Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 7: But it's also like our bosses aren't gonna do like
- 19:03Speaker 7: course correct, They're gonna punish, you know, because it's their
- 19:07Speaker 7: lives at stake.
- 19:08Speaker 2: What's missus Lloyd Webber do?
- 19:11Speaker 6: Boy?
- 19:13Speaker 3: Uh?
- 19:13Speaker 7: She loves to throw Shirley temples at my head, your
- 19:18Speaker 7: hand full glass of Shirley temple.
- 19:21Speaker 5: It so does she order the Shirley temple when she's
- 19:25Speaker 5: about So that's when I know.
- 19:29Speaker 7: It, you know, you know when your boss like will
- 19:31Speaker 7: clock a couple things wrong, but she's waiting for like
- 19:34Speaker 7: one other thing. Like it's something like with with Darlene.
- 19:37Speaker 7: It takes a couple of times in the day for
- 19:39Speaker 7: me to mess up. It's never on the first mess up,
- 19:41Speaker 7: which I'm thankful for, but it freaks me out because
- 19:45Speaker 7: then I know here it comes, you know, and she'll
- 19:48Speaker 7: just stop what she's doing and she'll say, waiter, can
- 19:50Speaker 7: I get a Shirley Temple extra ice? And I know
- 19:54Speaker 7: that things coming straight from my forehead. Sometimes I can
- 19:58Speaker 7: take my longboard and I try to chuck it, chuck
- 20:02Speaker 7: my long board to like somehow at the waiter out
- 20:05Speaker 7: at the Shirley Temple, to like stop it.
- 20:08Speaker 5: You know, you try and hit it in mid air.
- 20:10Speaker 2: She's throwing an s t au and you're throwing a
- 20:12Speaker 2: longboard at her.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Not exactly, I'm throwing the long board at the Shirley Temple.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Does it hit her?
- 20:18Speaker 6: Sometimes?
- 20:19Speaker 4: Uh?
- 20:20Speaker 6: This is where we get into n DA stuff.
- 20:23Speaker 4: You know, if you if you hit her, let's go
- 20:26Speaker 4: with your longboard.
- 20:28Speaker 6: I made her sign.
- 20:31Speaker 2: I think you can talk about it.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'll do I'll.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Break the d your boss, Tyler, that's insane.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Had you do that, Tyler?
- 20:41Speaker 3: That's the ballsiest movie Everard, really honestly very cool.
- 20:45Speaker 4: That's so cool, man, that's so cools sick.
- 20:49Speaker 7: Yeah, she just scared ship out of me. She scared
- 20:52Speaker 7: the living ship out of me. When I when that
- 20:54Speaker 7: longboard hit her face and it ruined, ruined her botox.
- 20:58Speaker 7: She scared the ship out of me. She grabbed me
- 21:00Speaker 7: and and then I said I'll tell you. I'll tell
- 21:04Speaker 7: people you grabbed me because I will say sorry, it's
- 21:08Speaker 7: getting dark.
- 21:10Speaker 6: I will say.
- 21:12Speaker 7: Assistant lifestyles changed when Twitter came, Like it was like
- 21:18Speaker 7: when that longboard hit her face was kind of like
- 21:20Speaker 7: the glass ceiling breaking, and it was kind of like
- 21:22Speaker 7: me being like, I can hold you accountable too, right,
- 21:27Speaker 7: right right, And that's when I said, you need to
- 21:30Speaker 7: sign this n DA that says I never threw longboard
- 21:34Speaker 7: at you.
- 21:35Speaker 5: So that's less of an NDA and more of like
- 21:37Speaker 5: a lie.
- 21:42Speaker 2: But respect man.
- 21:44Speaker 5: That's awesome though.
- 21:45Speaker 6: I mean, I think it's just because I am constantly
- 21:48Speaker 6: holding all these NDAs and sometimes.
- 21:50Speaker 4: I just like brother. So she's also getting you to
- 21:53Speaker 4: sign NDAs.
- 21:54Speaker 6: A and she's having other people do it too.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Oh so this woman's walking around with a bunch of NDAs.
- 21:59Speaker 7: She just likes to have them on handy okay, just
- 22:02Speaker 7: in case. Yeah, those in toothpicks.
- 22:04Speaker 4: So what's your what's your day? Like I guess just
- 22:06Speaker 4: really quick.
- 22:07Speaker 6: She wakes up at three.
- 22:09Speaker 4: And pm or am pm. Okay, easy day, Yeah, that
- 22:16Speaker 4: is an easy days.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Pretty good, easy day.
- 22:19Speaker 3: That's pretty good, don't I take a couple of Shirley
- 22:21Speaker 3: Temples to that getting up after five am. Whatever you
- 22:25Speaker 3: guys waking up at five am.
- 22:26Speaker 4: As soon as her rooster starts crying, I gotta be
- 22:28Speaker 4: out of my house. I gotta be out of my house.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Three.
- 22:31Speaker 1: It's three for me, it's pm am. So we're twelve
- 22:35Speaker 1: we're twelve hours apart.
- 22:37Speaker 4: How late do you work?
- 22:39Speaker 6: I go street till seven am.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Okay, So she's a night owl. She's kind of a yeah,
- 22:46Speaker 4: an insomniac te No.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Oh, she has insomnia in a big way.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 6: And she needs Martini's hourly hourly hourly.
- 22:56Speaker 2: And so she doesn't drink Chirley Temples.
- 22:58Speaker 6: No, No, she just throw No, she knows cherries make
- 23:02Speaker 6: me nauseous.
- 23:04Speaker 4: That's the worst one. When your boss knows your weakness.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Yes, Debbie.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Her punishment for me for when I when I fuck up,
- 23:11Speaker 5: She'll just say jelly beans. And I know what that means.
- 23:14Speaker 6: What does it mean?
- 23:14Speaker 5: I have to go to the c w A office
- 23:18Speaker 5: and I have to go to.
- 23:19Speaker 3: The jellybean room And that's where the assistants are made
- 23:23Speaker 3: to count jellybeans one by one until they get through
- 23:26Speaker 3: the whole jar.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Is that like to like learn your lesson?
- 23:30Speaker 4: And that is your specific torture.
- 23:33Speaker 3: That's my specific torture. There are different rooms for different assistance.
- 23:36Speaker 3: For some people, it's baseball.
- 23:37Speaker 4: They just hate it.
- 23:38Speaker 5: They throwing it.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I heard that jk Rowling got the idea for the
- 23:43Speaker 1: Ministry of Magic for the fifth Book of Harry Potter
- 23:46Speaker 1: from the clew.
- 23:47Speaker 3: It's like the Room of Requirement, except for that assistance.
- 23:52Speaker 4: They jk Rowling's an assistant posted that on Awesome Assistance.
- 23:56Speaker 7: That's crazy because I'm actually drawing a comic book right
- 23:59Speaker 7: now about a boy who throws surely who who uh
- 24:04Speaker 7: uh it defeats Shirley Temples.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Great, maybe just send it to us. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 2: it sounds.
- 24:09Speaker 5: I'd love to check it out.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Oh, I'd love to check it.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Even if you want to get drinks and bounce things around, like,
- 24:13Speaker 3: I'd love to check that out.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I would love that.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I would actually love to read that. And maybe we
- 24:17Speaker 1: can create a support group for each other because I
- 24:18Speaker 1: love you guys and stuff and give some notes as well.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Be really cool. I love I love Yeah, yeah, I
- 24:24Speaker 4: have got so many things I'm working on.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be great.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I love to give you some notes, and I could
- 24:29Speaker 1: also receive some feedback. But overall, I'd love to give notes.
- 24:32Speaker 6: Okay, so you guys wake up at three and what's
- 24:33Speaker 6: the first thing you're doing.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Well, yeah, so well i'll answer. I'll answer the punishment
- 24:37Speaker 2: question too.
- 24:38Speaker 6: Oh I'm sorry.
- 24:39Speaker 1: So Diana Bacon, she likes to punish me by taking
- 24:42Speaker 1: me to Nobu and having a really nice meal. So
- 24:45Speaker 1: if I screw up, she pampers me and she shows
- 24:48Speaker 1: me the life that I will give up if I
- 24:51Speaker 1: ever screw up again.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Oh my, it's really beautiful. It's a beautiful moment. She's
- 24:56Speaker 2: really nice to me. She's the nicest she's ever been
- 24:58Speaker 2: to me. And when she's nice to me, I know
- 24:59Speaker 2: that I've fucked up.
- 25:01Speaker 1: And it's a great way for her to let me
- 25:03Speaker 1: know because otherwise she's clear, she's open, she's direct. And
- 25:07Speaker 1: then when she starts being nice to say, oh my god,
- 25:09Speaker 1: she's doing something. She's treating me like a stranger.
- 25:11Speaker 5: That's really sinister.
- 25:13Speaker 4: So she's like almost like it. When she's distant. The
- 25:15Speaker 4: worst thing that happens to you is she gets a little.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Distant exactly exactly because I crave her and I need her.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I need her in my life. She's important for me.
- 25:22Speaker 6: And she has you crave her?
- 25:24Speaker 1: I crave her in a in a in an establishment way.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I crave her, you know, like like you crave a
- 25:29Speaker 1: subway system, you know what I mean. I crave her
- 25:31Speaker 1: for her structure.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I crave for her for the.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Other day when I crave a transportation system.
- 25:39Speaker 6: Yes, that the other day I was craving a train.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, because you need to get from one place
- 25:45Speaker 1: to the other place, and so that, Oh I could
- 25:46Speaker 1: really use this, and you're craving a train.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I crave her like a I crave an airplane. It's
- 25:51Speaker 2: she's she's vital to give me where I need to go.
- 25:54Speaker 2: She's important. And if I lose that, I'm lost and
- 25:56Speaker 2: I'm stuck. So I never want that.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And if she starts, or she says my name wrong,
- 26:02Speaker 1: or she'll do some other stuff like that, Oh my god,
- 26:04Speaker 1: she's acting like I don't exist, you know, and it
- 26:06Speaker 1: spirals me. It spirals me, and so I have to
- 26:10Speaker 1: I have to do a hot yoga class, and I
- 26:14Speaker 1: have to film myself doing it, and then I have
- 26:15Speaker 1: to send it to her to show that I'm punished.
- 26:17Speaker 6: It's really not that bad that It's like good sushi
- 26:19Speaker 6: and hot yoga.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, but it feels bad right, and I think, yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 1: exactly exactly.
- 26:26Speaker 2: It's just important.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Punishment is important, she's told me, and I agree. I
- 26:29Speaker 1: think I'm bad sometimes I'm naughty. I'm naughty and I'm
- 26:33Speaker 1: naughty and I'm bad and I actually don't. I don't
- 26:36Speaker 1: do the right things a lot of the time, and
- 26:37Speaker 1: I'm actually a loser and I'm a freak. So it's
- 26:39Speaker 1: really helpful for her to kind.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Of come in and help me out with that, wow,
- 26:42Speaker 2: with the sushi like that.
- 26:43Speaker 4: Yeah, totally, that's insane. You know, I'll say every friend
- 26:46Speaker 4: and animal is different in terms of punishment. You know,
- 26:49Speaker 4: most of the animals are bite, growl, bark type of thing.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Constrict and do What do they mean when they growl?
- 26:56Speaker 5: Do you think they just mean growl or is there
- 26:59Speaker 5: something else to it?
- 27:00Speaker 4: Oh my gosh. The interesting thing is when they growl,
- 27:02Speaker 4: I assume they're trying to tell me, oh, back off,
- 27:06Speaker 4: or you've done something wrong. But when I press the
- 27:08Speaker 4: button growl, I don't know what the fuck they mean?
- 27:10Speaker 4: Is that playful growl? There's no real inflection in the
- 27:13Speaker 4: growl there.
- 27:14Speaker 5: It could be like a sarcastic sort of flirty like growl.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 6: I imagine it changes for animals too, like when a
- 27:21Speaker 6: bunny growls.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Oh, one of the worst buttons is the cat's me yow.
- 27:26Speaker 5: That sucks because they could just say it, Yeah, they could.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Just say I believe that from a cat though, So
- 27:32Speaker 2: that a friends punishment.
- 27:33Speaker 4: A lot of them get distant, but a lot of
- 27:35Speaker 4: them really really rail into me. Like Axel will send
- 27:39Speaker 4: me mean photos. He'll threaten big, big moves. You know,
- 27:44Speaker 4: he's crazy. He's a wild child, that guy. So yeah,
- 27:48Speaker 4: it just depends on the moment and the and the
- 27:50Speaker 4: person I'm assisting at that at that moment, you know,
- 27:53Speaker 4: so it's crazy.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I would love to know a time from you
- 27:57Speaker 3: guys where you I mean, we're talking about punishment, but
- 28:00Speaker 3: what's the time when you messed up, when you like
- 28:04Speaker 3: like assistant disasters? Because I can tell you one time
- 28:08Speaker 3: because my routine with Debbie is, you know, I wake
- 28:12Speaker 3: up and then she calls me and she goes remind me,
- 28:16Speaker 3: and I go, okay, And at this point I read
- 28:19Speaker 3: off a list of who her friends and family are
- 28:22Speaker 3: and I'll say She'll say Michael, and I'll say brother.
- 28:27Speaker 5: She'll say got it. Sarah sister, got it?
- 28:31Speaker 3: So you're reminding her of Yeah, I'm reminding her of
- 28:34Speaker 3: her family. I'm reminding her of her clients. And then
- 28:37Speaker 3: she goes breakfast and I say granola, and she says.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Got it.
- 28:40Speaker 7: It feels like less about reminding her she has family,
- 28:42Speaker 7: but more just like labeling what each is, like, just
- 28:46Speaker 7: like associating the cat like.
- 28:47Speaker 3: It's sort of like audio flashcards that we have to
- 28:51Speaker 3: review it every day because she doesn't know where she
- 28:53Speaker 3: is at any given moment, and so it's tough.
- 28:56Speaker 5: She also doesn't know how to I'm sorry.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Oh good, I'm good. I'm listening. Are you sure? I'm good? Yeah,
- 29:00Speaker 2: just I'm dealing with something.
- 29:02Speaker 4: What are you dealing with?
- 29:02Speaker 6: Your phone looks like waves?
- 29:04Speaker 5: Your phone is moving so fast.
- 29:06Speaker 4: I'm just what are you dealing with?
- 29:08Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm good, I'm listening. Just go ahead.
- 29:11Speaker 5: Did you fuck up?
- 29:12Speaker 4: No?
- 29:12Speaker 2: I'm fine.
- 29:13Speaker 4: What did you do?
- 29:15Speaker 2: I'm just good, I'm good. I'm all good. Go ahead,
- 29:17Speaker 2: And so your mom and your your dad.
- 29:18Speaker 5: That is the longest calendar description I've ever seen.
- 29:22Speaker 4: I just missed.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I just I just I just missed something really quick,
- 29:24Speaker 2: and I'm okay, and I got it. I just gotta
- 29:27Speaker 2: I got a Google invite to go ivy. Yeah, so
- 29:29Speaker 2: that's bad news. But I'm good.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Okay, I'm good.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 29:34Speaker 6: I'm good. I'm good.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I'm good. I'm good.
- 29:36Speaker 6: That's great. That's great, that's great.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Let's keep we're good.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Yeah, one of one of them, I guess, one of
- 29:41Speaker 4: the one of the worst.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, no, what's going on?
- 29:45Speaker 1: Are you?
- 29:46Speaker 4: Oh? He just run out.
- 29:48Speaker 5: He had to run out, He had to run out.
- 29:50Speaker 6: Do I know what that's like.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Oh, I've been there.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I've been there.
- 29:54Speaker 4: One time a pair keet got out and that was me.
- 29:56Speaker 4: That was me. I had to sprint around all of
- 29:58Speaker 4: Los Felis and just trying to find this parakeet.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Did you find him?
- 30:02Speaker 4: Yeah? I did?
- 30:03Speaker 5: Oh in a bad way.
- 30:04Speaker 4: No, it's a positive, okay, cool, I found it was.
- 30:08Speaker 6: It was not the we're talking about mess up when
- 30:10Speaker 6: you messed up.
- 30:11Speaker 4: So one of the worst times I've messed up is
- 30:14Speaker 4: actually I drove my car and hit one of her friends.
- 30:18Speaker 4: It was Discovers.
- 30:19Speaker 5: It's a big mess up.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 4: I was a disaster on the day. Well, basically what
- 30:22Speaker 4: happens is I live at Miley Cyrus's in Miley Cyrus's backhouse. Basically,
- 30:27Speaker 4: I live in Maiay Cyrus's backhouse. She's got this beautiful mansion.
- 30:30Speaker 4: I live in the back of it, and I pay rent.
- 30:33Speaker 4: So one time I was just reversing my car. Turns
- 30:35Speaker 4: out Miley Cyrus was having a rager all night and
- 30:38Speaker 4: a lot of her friends were hanging out right outside
- 30:40Speaker 4: of the garage. So I ended up hitting like two
- 30:43Speaker 4: or three of her friends who I'm.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Assisting to, oh, like a few, like a zambo wasn't like.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Well, you know, when you start reversing and it's early
- 30:52Speaker 4: in the morning and you just don't know what you're doing,
- 30:54Speaker 4: see accidental like dn'k ding ding right right?
- 30:57Speaker 5: That's tough. That's like pretty colossal.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 4: In terms of how you say the text messages, I
- 31:01Speaker 4: got awful, awful, awful off. Oh yeah.
- 31:06Speaker 6: Also, did I interrupt yours because you were saying you
- 31:08Speaker 6: don't Oh.
- 31:08Speaker 5: No, I was just gonna say, oh yeah, it was
- 31:11Speaker 5: it was a mess up with the flash cards.
- 31:14Speaker 6: She said.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Sun and I said nighttime, and she got that whole
- 31:23Speaker 3: confused the whole rest of the day.
- 31:24Speaker 4: So she called her son nighttime.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Did she call him nighttime.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Yeah, she called her son nighttime, and she thought that
- 31:35Speaker 5: that was the word. She thought that that was his name.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Why were you saying, well, because.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I thought we were talking about I thought she was
- 31:42Speaker 3: asking me when the sun was out, and I said nighttime.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Because I screwed up.
- 31:47Speaker 6: I don't really like a screw up on your part.
- 31:49Speaker 7: It feels like you're going from categorizing the people in
- 31:52Speaker 7: her life and who they are and then just like
- 31:54Speaker 7: basic kindergarten, right, well, she.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Needed that, like normally we need to go through like
- 32:00Speaker 3: this is the time of day, and this is what
- 32:01Speaker 3: it looks like. This is because she doesn't you know,
- 32:03Speaker 3: she's not on Apple Calendar, she's not on Google Calendar.
- 32:06Speaker 3: I run all of that, and so everything needs to
- 32:08Speaker 3: be sorted for her, and so she really didn't know
- 32:10Speaker 3: what was going on, and so I have to go
- 32:11Speaker 3: back to basics.
- 32:12Speaker 6: But I was also.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Answerer answering another email. At the same time, her astrologist
- 32:17Speaker 3: and her her therapist were in at odds. They were
- 32:23Speaker 3: double booked.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Oh I hate that when they're at odds.
- 32:26Speaker 5: They were double booked and fighting.
- 32:29Speaker 3: No, So I was a little distracted, and I just
- 32:31Speaker 3: throughout nighttime and then she said that I really embarrassed
- 32:34Speaker 3: her because she referred to her son as nighttime when
- 32:39Speaker 3: she was talking about.
- 32:44Speaker 4: What happened.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Isn't it fucking crazy?
- 32:46Speaker 1: There's two four seasons in Los Angeles, Like there's a
- 32:50Speaker 1: four seasons.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Yeah, technically the Beverly seasons.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Yeah, four season and there's restaurants in both of them
- 32:56Speaker 1: and they're both a in the same thing.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Isn't that fucking Yeah?
- 32:59Speaker 6: That's just it? With the W two there's so many
- 33:03Speaker 6: do ws.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Speaking of you guys signed W twos or ten ninety nine?
- 33:10Speaker 4: Yeah? I bet you are. What does that mean?
- 33:13Speaker 6: Oh my god?
- 33:14Speaker 5: I think I think this is a no offense. I
- 33:17Speaker 5: just don't see the path.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Well this I'm actually trying to become a writer actor,
- 33:21Speaker 4: and I think there's okay, a clear path here with
- 33:25Speaker 4: Miley's friends, Yeah are you? Are?
- 33:27Speaker 5: You guys all trying to be like, where is what's
- 33:29Speaker 5: the next? What's the goal? What's the end goal?
- 33:31Speaker 4: Yeah? So basically my goal is to use maybe some
- 33:34Speaker 4: of the animals connections.
- 33:38Speaker 5: To what meat mice.
- 33:40Speaker 4: That's a funny idea, very funny pitch, almost almost like
- 33:45Speaker 4: a script.
- 33:46Speaker 5: Sorry, I just I've got so many ideas bouncing up.
- 33:49Speaker 4: No, but yeah, a lot of the animals have great
- 33:50Speaker 4: Hollywood connections. So I'm just trying to like be in
- 33:52Speaker 4: the right place at the right time and maybe jump
- 33:54Speaker 4: to a different place, maybe jump to a different animal,
- 33:56Speaker 4: maybe jump to a different room and use that, you know,
- 33:58Speaker 4: pitch some of my scripts, get notes, and just get
- 34:01Speaker 4: get a little closer, you know. But it's a clear path,
- 34:03Speaker 4: you guys.
- 34:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I didn't get to answer the question about the
- 34:07Speaker 6: biggest mistake.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, go ahead, what did you do?
- 34:10Speaker 6: And I'm trying to like just advocate for myself more.
- 34:13Speaker 6: My therapist told me that.
- 34:15Speaker 2: So I'm so happy you're in therapy.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Yeah, that's incredible.
- 34:18Speaker 6: Thank you, great, thank you.
- 34:20Speaker 2: That's great.
- 34:21Speaker 7: Darlene originally wanted me to see her vibes therapist, and
- 34:25Speaker 7: I was like, I don't think that's real.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Whoa did you are?
- 34:29Speaker 1: To be honest, man, you are as confrontational as I
- 34:34Speaker 1: am to Diana Bacon and she asks for it.
- 34:36Speaker 2: You are really you say a lot of crazy.
- 34:38Speaker 5: You're standing up for yourself.
- 34:40Speaker 6: I have to, I mean it's crazy. Yeah. I didn't
- 34:42Speaker 6: mean to interrupt you.
- 34:43Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, don't please. I was done. I
- 34:46Speaker 4: was done.
- 34:46Speaker 6: The biggest mistake I ever made was Darlene.
- 34:49Speaker 7: One day at three pm, woke up and went outside
- 34:52Speaker 7: and I went, wait, so down and because we had
- 34:54Speaker 7: a couple of appointments that day, and I was like,
- 34:56Speaker 7: sonoun down and then she was like she got in
- 34:59Speaker 7: the cab and she looked do you mean?
- 35:00Speaker 6: She said catch me and the caboy.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Catch me if you can day and I had to
- 35:05Speaker 4: find her that day.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Do you guys ever have those?
- 35:08Speaker 2: Yeah, Diana calls them waldo days.
- 35:13Speaker 6: That's so tough, yeah, day And it feels like, what
- 35:15Speaker 6: is this productive? What is it about?
- 35:17Speaker 4: Like? Why are we what's a mental game? I think
- 35:19Speaker 4: that what they're doing to us is just trying to
- 35:21Speaker 4: break us down and put us to the edge so
- 35:23Speaker 4: we get stronger.
- 35:24Speaker 5: You know, it's hard because de wu'l ask where am I?
- 35:26Speaker 5: And then I have to figure that out.
- 35:28Speaker 3: And sometimes I genuinely don't know. If it's between calls,
- 35:32Speaker 3: I don't know where she is, and so I'm like, well,
- 35:34Speaker 3: what does it look like? And she'll say, well, oranges, apples, bananas, cold,
- 35:40Speaker 3: very cold, and I'll have to be like grocery store right,
- 35:43Speaker 3: and then she goes, why am I here? How do
- 35:46Speaker 3: I get home, and then I have to do a
- 35:48Speaker 3: lot of detective.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Work to figure that out. Let me tell you the
- 35:50Speaker 4: one of the worst phone Kyles I can get is
- 35:53Speaker 4: just a random number calls me and I just hear
- 35:55Speaker 4: a button where where where? Where? Where? Where where? And
- 35:58Speaker 4: it's you know, one of the dogs I have gotten.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Now you know they have a button for your phone number.
- 36:02Speaker 4: They have a So I think, what's happening? I think
- 36:06Speaker 4: what's happening because usually what it feels like is either
- 36:08Speaker 4: they've they've managed to grab somebody's phone with their mouth,
- 36:11Speaker 4: or a kind stranger has dialed the number on their caller,
- 36:16Speaker 4: which is a direct number to my number, not to Miley's,
- 36:19Speaker 4: and then they'll hit their button. Each of them carry
- 36:22Speaker 4: around a little button vest, so yeah, that's what they'll do.
- 36:25Speaker 2: That's rough.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, I h Diana definitely loves to do cash
- 36:29Speaker 1: with for your candidates.
- 36:30Speaker 2: We call them all the day.
- 36:31Speaker 1: She likes to She likes to be found and she
- 36:34Speaker 1: always treats it like a challenge. And if I screw up,
- 36:37Speaker 1: she takes me back to a nice dinner and it
- 36:38Speaker 1: feels awful. So she goes to really busy places. She
- 36:42Speaker 1: goes to red carpet events. She goes to the Running
- 36:44Speaker 1: of the Bulls. I had to fly to Pamplona in
- 36:46Speaker 1: four hours. I define the fastest jet I could. I
- 36:50Speaker 1: had to pay for it myself in order to find
- 36:52Speaker 1: her in the mass of people for running the Bulls.
- 36:55Speaker 2: And it was really, really hard. But I always feel
- 36:58Speaker 2: like I learned something and I'm so grateful for thosepportunities.
- 37:00Speaker 1: She is a genius and she has gotten me to
- 37:02Speaker 1: do things I never thought I would do, And so
- 37:04Speaker 1: I would follow her to the ends of the earth
- 37:06Speaker 1: and I have, I have, you know, and it's incredible
- 37:10Speaker 1: and it's impressive, and you know, I wish.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I hope all of you guys get a boss like
- 37:14Speaker 2: Diana Bacon, because she is. She sounds great, she sounds
- 37:17Speaker 2: she's great, and she cares about me. She cares about
- 37:19Speaker 2: me in a crazy way.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I don't think she cares about anyone else, Like all
- 37:24Speaker 1: her ex husbands like call me all the time, telling
- 37:27Speaker 1: me like you really don't understand what you're dealing with,
- 37:32Speaker 1: and like you don't know what she said about you,
- 37:34Speaker 1: And I'm like, I know she said about me.
- 37:35Speaker 6: She said it to my face, like she feel like
- 37:38Speaker 6: you're a little hypnotized sometimes.
- 37:40Speaker 2: No, I'm not hypnotized.
- 37:42Speaker 1: You sound exactly exactly like my mom because she says
- 37:46Speaker 1: that kind of stuff all the time.
- 37:48Speaker 6: No, yeah, I get it.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, but I'm like mom, like, you worked
- 37:52Speaker 2: at a freaking red Rocket, Red Robin.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Oh she worked on the movie Red Rocket.
- 37:58Speaker 2: No, no, no, she worked in a Red Rock.
- 38:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Okay.
- 38:01Speaker 7: See it's like, I can see why you're so messed
- 38:03Speaker 7: up in the head because it's so easy for me
- 38:05Speaker 7: to know that my job sucks because like flying beverages
- 38:08Speaker 7: hit my face. But you're going to like beautiful restaurants
- 38:11Speaker 7: and great parties as your punishment.
- 38:13Speaker 6: So I could imagine that she, somehow, in some.
- 38:15Speaker 7: Sick way, made you believe that you're a piece of shit,
- 38:20Speaker 7: but keeps you coming back for more.
- 38:23Speaker 2: She doesn't treat me like shit. She's she's good to me.
- 38:26Speaker 2: She's given me more things than I've ever gotten in
- 38:28Speaker 2: my life.
- 38:29Speaker 7: And that's why I think you won't check in with
- 38:31Speaker 7: yourself because it all good stuff.
- 38:33Speaker 2: It feels I'm checking in. I'm checking in all the time, guys, Like,
- 38:38Speaker 2: how are you kidding me? I have a social life.
- 38:40Speaker 2: I get blackout drunk every night.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Oh my god, Oh my god, I had you need
- 38:49Speaker 6: a cab.
- 38:50Speaker 4: Oh no, don't hear.
- 38:51Speaker 6: It's going off.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Don't think it's called the hearing aid.
- 38:54Speaker 5: I think it's I think that's not what you're describing.
- 38:58Speaker 6: I gotta get on my long woard.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Oh my god, there yours off to answer an email.
- 39:07Speaker 2: I want that kid's life.
- 39:09Speaker 4: That's so easy three pm to seven am. Kill me.
- 39:12Speaker 4: I know. This is what I was gonna say, is
- 39:15Speaker 4: I don't I don't want to blow your load.
- 39:18Speaker 5: I had the exactly Please don't.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I don't want you to blow my load either.
- 39:23Speaker 4: No, to blow your load, you know, like blow your load.
- 39:25Speaker 4: It's kind of like change your mind about something.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:32Speaker 4: What I'm trying to say is you've been.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Walking around your whole life saying, can I blow your
- 39:39Speaker 3: load about.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Something for a second?
- 39:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you go, wow, Inception really blew my load.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Yeah, that's exactly what I said about that movie, because
- 39:46Speaker 4: it did blow my load. It was it was almost
- 39:48Speaker 4: like a load off of me. It finally made sense.
- 39:51Speaker 4: But what I was gonna say, I was gonna say
- 39:52Speaker 4: what I was gonna say. What I was gonna say
- 39:54Speaker 4: was I had the exact same situation happened with one
- 39:58Speaker 4: of Miley's lemurs. He Stockholm syndrome. The shit out of me.
- 40:04Speaker 4: The way he would, you know, come up to me
- 40:06Speaker 4: for cuddles and he would press cuddles button. He was
- 40:08Speaker 4: so loving. But if I messed up, he would bring
- 40:11Speaker 4: me treats, but almost passive aggressively. And it took me
- 40:14Speaker 4: in a spiral of drinking, a spiral of drinking, which
- 40:17Speaker 4: is very easy at the parties that Miley cyrus Is throws,
- 40:21Speaker 4: you know, And so I just want to watch out
- 40:23Speaker 4: for you, buddy. I just want to reach.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Debbie just sent a question mark and a picture of
- 40:31Speaker 3: I think she's in I think she's in the Sahara desert.
- 40:35Speaker 6: Oh no, she's there with what looks like either James
- 40:40Speaker 6: Marsden or God, maybe that's Jason Sudeikas.
- 40:44Speaker 4: I really can't tell you so similar James Marsden, Jason Sudeikas.
- 40:50Speaker 6: She says, where are we?
- 40:51Speaker 5: It's like there's sand blocking the face.
- 40:53Speaker 2: I can only see there just hand.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Is there anything else I'm seeing?
- 40:57Speaker 2: Mostly that might be Harry Connick Jr.
- 41:00Speaker 4: They all three of them?
- 41:01Speaker 2: Are you soaking? What we're really?
- 41:07Speaker 4: So?
- 41:08Speaker 2: What happened?
- 41:11Speaker 6: She threw a huge water based Chirley Temple on my face.
- 41:16Speaker 5: Oh did she trick you by saying it was by
- 41:22Speaker 5: just ordering a water?
- 41:23Speaker 6: Yes, it was red fat trick.
- 41:27Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 41:27Speaker 5: I'm so sorry that happened to you.
- 41:29Speaker 4: My god, what did I miss? Well, it seems like.
- 41:32Speaker 5: You're well, I think we cracked the case. Uh, Debbie
- 41:35Speaker 5: is in the Sahara Desert with Harry connic Junior. Yeah,
- 41:38Speaker 5: and I just have to find a way to get
- 41:40Speaker 5: her back there.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Hold.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Yeah, and you know what now that we're saying that,
- 41:43Speaker 4: my my foot is buzzing up the wazoo right now,
- 41:47Speaker 4: and it probably is a dog trying to be found
- 41:49Speaker 4: or one of her friends.
- 41:51Speaker 2: I mean, this this.
- 41:52Speaker 4: Wild and crazy world in Hollywood. Any one of them
- 41:55Speaker 4: could call me at one point.
- 41:56Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, I mean this, this was sin. Doing
- 42:00Speaker 2: this was a sin. It was a sin that that
- 42:02Speaker 2: I'll probably never be forgiven for.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Why don't we just all say a really big secret
- 42:06Speaker 4: that were Swornce does not say the secret? So what
- 42:07Speaker 4: we saw were like really quick, something we saw we're
- 42:09Speaker 4: not allowed to say.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Can we just say it? Okay?
- 42:13Speaker 1: I I killed a man for Debbie, Debbie Bacon. I
- 42:17Speaker 1: killed a man for Debbie Bacon because the screenplay was
- 42:19Speaker 1: so bad. He didn't she didn't know how to give
- 42:20Speaker 1: him notes.
- 42:22Speaker 4: What have you done?
- 42:25Speaker 3: I I took Debbie, Debbie's son's car and I filled
- 42:32Speaker 3: it with uh. I planted drugs in it because she
- 42:36Speaker 3: she needed him to go somewhere else for a while,
- 42:39Speaker 3: and she wanted him to go to rehab because she
- 42:42Speaker 3: is an investor in the company, and they didn't have
- 42:44Speaker 3: enough people going to rehab in this one specific place.
- 42:47Speaker 3: And it's like this bougie, like luxury hotel like rehab
- 42:49Speaker 3: sort of thing, and so she needed, like she needed
- 42:52Speaker 3: she needed people to like go in there to make
- 42:54Speaker 3: it like look busy. So she threw her son in there,
- 42:57Speaker 3: and she just like needed the place to look good
- 42:59Speaker 3: in the brochures.
- 42:59Speaker 5: And her son does not have a drug problem.
- 43:02Speaker 4: WHOA. I Sometimes I'll just buy new animals and just
- 43:07Speaker 4: paint them. Sometimes I'll just paint them like the old ones.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Buy new animals and just paint them like the new ones.
- 43:12Speaker 4: And hasn't noticed yet they move. Some of them are stuff,
- 43:16Speaker 4: but some of them move. And I just I've done
- 43:18Speaker 4: this a lot. And most of the animals are second
- 43:21Speaker 4: to third gen and sometimes I'll do that with the
- 43:24Speaker 4: friends too. I'll just pretend I'll stand as a new
- 43:26Speaker 4: friend for Miley and she just doesn't even know the difference.
- 43:29Speaker 6: I'm fucking Darlene so hard. Debbie, that's a tiger, Debbie.
- 43:36Speaker 5: I just have to send a voice, maam up, Debbie.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Okay, that's it's so consensual.
- 43:41Speaker 6: I love it, and she loves it so much. It's
- 43:44Speaker 6: not like a power thing. Okay. I'm fucking her so hard.
- 43:48Speaker 6: And when she throws chili temples on me, I come
- 43:50Speaker 6: in my pants.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Hi, Hi, Hi, Dana. Yes, I am very very sorry. Yes,
- 43:55Speaker 1: I am so sorry. I'll be right here, Nor I'll
- 43:58Speaker 1: be right there. No, no, no, no, I'm not and
- 44:00Speaker 1: I'm not even un deserve to be punished.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's that's the bark of that's a
- 44:08Speaker 4: bark of wrecking bowl, her favorite dog. Also, I just
- 44:11Speaker 4: want to say, really quick, there's no way she's in
- 44:13Speaker 4: the Sahara desert. If it's a tiger, that's a completely
- 44:16Speaker 4: different consonant.
