- 1:20Speaker 1: can draw close to God and find strength in Him.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Welcome everyone to our meditative prayer on fighting anxiety. To
- 1:31Speaker 3: get the most out of your spiritual journey, use Pray.com
- 1:34Speaker 3: every day and make prayer a priority in your life.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Our goal for today's meditative prayer again is to fight anxiety.
- 1:42Speaker 3: So hit pause for a second. Find a safe and
- 1:46Speaker 3: secluded spot where you can comfortably settle down. Close your eyes.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Breathe in.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And now breathe out.
- 1:56Speaker 3: And as you exhale, Imagine the tension leaving your body
- 2:01Speaker 3: along with that breath. Now take every thought captive and
- 2:06Speaker 3: bring your focus to the Word of God. Today, we'll
- 2:09Speaker 3: be meditating on Psalm 94, verse 19 from the King
- 2:13Speaker 3: James Version. It reads, When I am filled with cares,
- 2:18Speaker 3: your comfort brings me joy. Now take a moment to
- 2:22Speaker 3: just pour out your adoration to God for His blessings. Jesus,
- 2:26Speaker 3: I praise you. You are greater than my anxiety. Your
- 2:32Speaker 3: comfort brings me joy in times of fear. I adore
- 2:36Speaker 3: you for you are the mighty and powerful God. Your
- 2:40Speaker 3: vast power stretches across the heavens and abides in my heart.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I worship you for providing me with joy everlasting. You guys,
- 2:51Speaker 3: life isn't always a picnic. Unfortunately, your efforts won't always
- 2:57Speaker 3: produce your desired outcomes. Hardships, unexpected loss, and persistent problems
- 3:02Speaker 3: will wear you down. Sadness will attempt to become your
- 3:05Speaker 3: constant companion. You must not accept this. You must not
- 3:10Speaker 3: give in. Finding comfort in God while nervous and agitated
- 3:15Speaker 3: is a difficult task, but you must rise to the occasion.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Although anxiety is a tough opponent, it is not invincible.
- 3:24Speaker 3: So stop for a second and allow God to speak
- 3:28Speaker 3: to your heart. Confess to Jesus the times you gave
- 3:32Speaker 3: up the fight. Those times where the unease was too
- 3:36Speaker 3: much and the tension was too great. And hand those
- 3:39Speaker 3: failures over to Jesus. Cast your cares upon Him. Take
- 3:44Speaker 3: just a few minutes to dwell on God's comfort in
- 3:47Speaker 3: your life. Thank Him because His comfort brings you joy.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Thank the Holy Spirit for helping and enabling you to
- 3:55Speaker 3: win this fight today. Think of past victories His joy
- 4:00Speaker 3: has brought you. Thank God for watching over you in
- 4:03Speaker 3: the past and for continuing to do so forevermore. Thank
- 4:08Speaker 3: God that in His grace, you will no longer be
- 4:11Speaker 3: ruled by apprehension or restlessness, but instead, you will overflow
- 4:16Speaker 3: with jubilation. You will rejoice in the gratification of His word.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Thank God because in His love and through His strength,
- 4:26Speaker 3: you can do all things. God is present and he
- 4:31Speaker 3: is listening to you. The Bible says, ask and it
- 4:34Speaker 3: shall be given unto you. So today, ask the Holy
- 4:37Speaker 3: Spirit to give you his consolation, to help you stay
- 4:42Speaker 3: in the fight until the final round. Ask him to
- 4:46Speaker 3: be your solace and support in times of need. Even
- 4:49Speaker 3: when life becomes impossible to beat and victory seems improbable,
- 4:53Speaker 3: you can still experience joy. As challenging as this may seem,
- 4:58Speaker 3: God has provided a way. Remember, God promised you joy
- 5:03Speaker 3: through comfort in times of distress. It doesn't matter how
- 5:07Speaker 3: high the hill you're climbing may be, God will guide
- 5:10Speaker 3: and support you every step of the way. You must
- 5:13Speaker 3: be vigilant and not allow daily distractions or problems to
- 5:18Speaker 3: steal your joy. But instead, seek God's reassurance in His
- 5:23Speaker 3: Word and watch your life transform. God wants to fill
- 5:28Speaker 3: your heart with glee and your life with great happiness.
- 5:32Speaker 3: So trust in Him today. My friends, thank you for
- 5:37Speaker 3: completing today's meditative prayer on Pray.com. By incorporating this healthy
- 5:42Speaker 3: habit as a daily practice, you're making prayer a priority
