Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: Kate Torber.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I'm Sophie Torber.
- 0:11Speaker 1: And I'm Amy Torber. And coming up on today's show,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Sarah's Day reveals she's building two risky new brands, Zara
- 0:19Speaker 1: McDonald's neighborhood dispute, and Tammy Hembrough's boyfriend hits back at critics.
- 0:24Speaker 1: But first, Molly May and Tommy Fury have announced the
- 0:27Speaker 1: arrival of their second baby.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I have to flex here. I found this news out
- 0:33Speaker 2: 10 minutes after she posted it, which was quite a
- 0:35Speaker 2: feat because she posted this around 4.30am Adelaide time.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I'm not sure how that's a flex because I'd rather
- 0:42Speaker 1: be asleep.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Well, it was like kind of a nice surprise. Like,
- 0:45Speaker 2: you know, you're up with your baby, but here you go.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Here's a little treat. And I also was up the
- 0:52Speaker 2: second that Taylor Swift posted about her engagement to Travis
- 0:55Speaker 2: Kelsey as well. So thank you, Luca.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Was that your body clock? You're like, wait a sec,
- 0:58Speaker 1: something's happening. I need to be awake. My queen, there's
- 1:01Speaker 1: something big happening to them.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Well, because he was only just stirring. I decided to
- 1:05Speaker 2: put his dummy in, pat his bum a little bit
- 1:07Speaker 2: and then went to the toilet, pulled out my phone.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Oh my God, the baby's here. I've got no one
- 1:11Speaker 2: to talk to about this. So I ended up taking
- 1:13Speaker 2: a screenshot, putting it on Outspoken. I woke up and
- 1:17Speaker 2: there were hundreds of likes on it already. So I
- 1:19Speaker 2: think a lot of other mums were up at that
- 1:20Speaker 2: time as well.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Well, Molly actually uploaded a YouTube the day before she
- 1:24Speaker 1: announced the birth. And in it, she said multiple times,
- 1:28Speaker 1: this is the last video before the baby's going to
- 1:30Speaker 1: be born. And it sounded like she was being induced.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So she kept saying, oh, I'm very lucky for this experience.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I'm going to the same London hospital that I gave
- 1:39Speaker 1: birth to Bambi in. But she didn't really want to
- 1:41Speaker 1: go into the details because I feel like she thought
- 1:43Speaker 1: she was going to get criticized because obviously a very
- 1:46Speaker 1: expensive hospital. The timing is interesting because my guess is
- 1:49Speaker 1: that she actually gave birth last week and she has strategically...
- 1:53Speaker 1: trickled out this content to make people even more excited.
- 1:57Speaker 1: The fact that it went out the day before she
- 1:58Speaker 1: announced it, then the announcement. I mean, we still don't
- 2:01Speaker 1: know at the time of recording whether the baby is
- 2:03Speaker 1: a boy or girl. We don't know the name. All
- 2:05Speaker 1: we've seen is a black and white family photo. It
- 2:08Speaker 1: was absolutely gorgeous, but I'm zooming in. I'm trying to
- 2:11Speaker 1: work out, does that look like, does that swaddle look
- 2:13Speaker 1: like it's for a boy or a girl?
- 2:14Speaker 2: I know this probably sounds weird because I was zooming
- 2:17Speaker 2: up on the photo a lot, but I noticed that
- 2:19Speaker 2: Molly May was sitting cross-legged on her hospital bed which
- 2:23Speaker 2: is a pretty big feat if you've just given birth vaginally.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I was like, wow, this woman is absolutely incredible.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Or via C-section as well, because we don't know how
- 2:32Speaker 1: her birth went, but I couldn't even move.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I also noticed that Bambi looked incredibly enthusiastic in this photo.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It looked like she was trying to reach out and
- 2:40Speaker 2: touch the baby just as this photo was snapped. And
- 2:43Speaker 2: I feel for Molly because she was saying in a
- 2:45Speaker 2: recent vlog that she's worried how hands-on Bambi is going
- 2:49Speaker 2: to be when this baby just freshly comes home.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I mean, I'd probably prefer enthusiastic than incredibly jealous and
- 2:55Speaker 1: not wanting to get around the baby.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I mean, Kate, you touched on how vague this baby
- 3:00Speaker 2: reveal was. I mean, they captioned the post and then
- 3:03Speaker 2: there were four. I was literally so disappointed. I kept
- 3:06Speaker 2: trying to click to see, well, where's the rest of
- 3:08Speaker 2: this announcement? What's the baby's name? What date was it?
- 3:11Speaker 2: What's the gender? I just want to know so badly. Like,
- 3:15Speaker 2: I think that so many people will be analysing this
- 3:17Speaker 2: photo and within an inch of its life. We had
- 3:19Speaker 2: a friend message us saying she was trying to look
- 3:21Speaker 2: at what the baby was wrapped in because it had
- 3:23Speaker 2: little cartoon characters on it. But again, it looked very
- 3:26Speaker 2: gender neutral.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It's an absolute tease from Molly Mae. Let's call it
- 3:29Speaker 1: for what it is. And I'm not even mad at
- 3:32Speaker 1: her because it's just building my excitement to find out.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Do you have a gut feeling? Because I... Looking at
- 3:38Speaker 2: the baby, it looks very much like Bambi. So I'm
- 3:40Speaker 2: thinking girl.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but Bambi looks exactly like Tommy. So I'm actually
- 3:43Speaker 1: thinking boy. For some reason, it was giving me a
- 3:46Speaker 1: boy vibe.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Leading into the birth, I was like, this baby's going
- 3:49Speaker 2: to be boy. But now I'm leaning towards girl.
- 3:51Speaker 1: What is the bet that the news comes out? Because
- 3:53Speaker 1: we're recording this on a Thursday afternoon. I bet you
- 3:56Speaker 1: when this episode drops, everyone will already know the name
- 3:59Speaker 1: and the gender. I think she's going to first reveal
- 4:01Speaker 1: the gender and then she'll do a post about the name.
- 4:04Speaker 1: She will continue to drag this out.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I initially thought maybe this was all about strategy and
- 4:08Speaker 2: they are just trying to drip feed us information about
- 4:11Speaker 2: the baby so that they get a lot of engagement.
- 4:13Speaker 2: But then I thought about it more and I actually
- 4:16Speaker 2: think it's about them trying to protect their peace during
- 4:18Speaker 2: the newborn bubble because I went back and had a
- 4:21Speaker 2: look at whether Tommy and Molly revealed Bambi's name in
- 4:24Speaker 2: her birth announcement and they didn't. But they did do
- 4:28Speaker 2: a post the following day showing their nursery and there
- 4:30Speaker 2: was this big neon sign that said Bambi. And After that,
- 4:35Speaker 2: they were inundated with negativity. There were so many awful
- 4:38Speaker 2: comments about the name. And Molly has since spoken about
- 4:41Speaker 2: that and said that it was a really difficult day
- 4:44Speaker 2: for her when the name was released. She said, I
- 4:47Speaker 2: think I was brought back down to planet Earth very,
- 4:49Speaker 2: very quickly of how nasty this world can be. And
- 4:53Speaker 2: she's already touched on the fact that baby number two's
- 4:55Speaker 2: name is going to be somewhat controversial. It's not going
- 4:57Speaker 2: to be a traditional name. She said she doesn't know anything.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I think she only knows one other child with this name,
- 5:03Speaker 2: so it is quite unique. So maybe they're thinking, look,
- 5:06Speaker 2: we want to wait a few days to announce the name.
- 5:09Speaker 2: We can't deal with the judgment and opinions at the moment.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I think that's a good idea. I mean, the other
- 5:14Speaker 1: way around it is they could just simply turn the
- 5:16Speaker 1: comments off. But considering that Molly May's career is in influencing,
- 5:20Speaker 1: she's not.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Going to want to do that, is she? Yeah, but
- 5:22Speaker 2: you can turn the comments off, but it doesn't stop
- 5:24Speaker 2: the media from reporting the negativity as well. And it
- 5:27Speaker 2: would be very difficult not to go and read those
- 5:30Speaker 2: articles and they're still going to report on any negativity
- 5:33Speaker 2: that erupts over this name.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Or TikTok, because let's face it, there's going to be
- 5:37Speaker 1: hundreds of think pieces about this name on that app
- 5:40Speaker 1: very soon.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I just feel protective over Molly because obviously I love
- 5:43Speaker 2: her and we've all heard what a difficult postpartum experience
- 5:47Speaker 2: she had the first time around. So I really want
- 5:49Speaker 2: this experience to be nice for her. So that's why
- 5:51Speaker 2: I think maybe this is a strategy just to protect
- 5:54Speaker 2: that newborn bubble whilst they're in it.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I have to be honest. I ran to the comment
- 5:57Speaker 1: section for any more clues because my appetite was just
- 6:01Speaker 1: not satisfied by the post. Now, Molly Mae's sister Zoe
- 6:05Speaker 1: Raig wrote, hee-hee, en route for more cuddles. Okay, well,
- 6:08Speaker 1: that's cute, but no real clues there. While one of
- 6:11Speaker 1: her Love Island besties, Maura Higgins, wrote, congratulations again. So
- 6:14Speaker 1: happy for you all. So it's fairly disappointing, but nice
- 6:17Speaker 1: to see that her friends are getting around her.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, there was nothing. Absolute donuts.
- 6:21Speaker 1: No clues at all. No crumbs.
- 6:23Speaker 2: They should let Outspoken know. Maybe they should give us
- 6:25Speaker 2: the exclusive. I mean, her people did reach out to
- 6:28Speaker 2: us about being in her documentary. That's a bit of
- 6:30Speaker 2: a humble brag there, making it sound bigger than it was, but.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It was literally a line from one of our podcast
- 6:35Speaker 1: episodes and we were like, of course, and then we
- 6:37Speaker 1: never heard back and it didn't get featured. A bit anticlimactic.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Bring on series three. What is that?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Don't be crazy.
- 6:46Speaker 3: What is that supposed to be?
- 6:48Speaker 4: A shark?
- 6:49Speaker 3: That's its fin?
- 6:50Speaker 2: And its eyeballs?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Oh, wait, did it? Was it meant to be like that? No,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think it was meant to be like that. Oh, wait,
- 6:57Speaker 1: so that's the nose. That's the nose. Wow.
- 7:01Speaker 4: A for effort, girl.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I didn't make it. A for effort for Grayson.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Tammy Hembrough's boyfriend, Grayson Timoana, has seemingly hit back at
- 7:12Speaker 2: critics Over his relationship with the mega influencer, the 23-year-old
- 7:17Speaker 2: shared a pointed message on Instagram alongside a loved up
- 7:21Speaker 2: photo of the couple.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It seems like the criticism has finally gotten to Grayson.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I mean, he was going to have to crack at
- 7:28Speaker 2: some stage, wasn't he? Has been quite intense.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, ever since they went public on the
- 7:32Speaker 1: red carpet back in February, he has been absolutely copying
- 7:36Speaker 1: it on social media. Like whenever I see his post
- 7:38Speaker 1: pop up, there are heaps of comments on it. And
- 7:40Speaker 1: I would say 90% of them are really harsh towards
- 7:45Speaker 1: him and Tammy.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I don't condone bullying in any sense, but I actually
- 7:50Speaker 2: don't know what response he thinks he's going to get
- 7:52Speaker 2: to some of the videos that he does share. It
- 7:54Speaker 2: almost seems to be rage baiting at this stage.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I mean, I think we need to remember, I mean,
- 7:58Speaker 1: there's been a lot said about it, but that he
- 8:00Speaker 1: is only 23.
- 8:01Speaker 2: True.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And he clearly is someone that wants to raise his
- 8:04Speaker 1: personal profile. You just look at his Instagram and TikTok
- 8:07Speaker 1: and know that is an important objective of his. Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Well, that's probably also why people aren't giving him a
- 8:12Speaker 2: free pass because you're looking at it and saying, well,
- 8:14Speaker 2: what are your intentions here? Do you genuinely want to
- 8:17Speaker 2: be with Tammy and want the best for her? Or
- 8:19Speaker 2: are you just trying to get famous off the back
- 8:20Speaker 2: of this? Yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot of reasons why people don't
- 8:23Speaker 1: like this relationship. I mean, the first obvious one is
- 8:26Speaker 1: the nine-year age gap. The second is the relationship timeline.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Not only has Tammy been criticized for moving on from
- 8:32Speaker 1: her marriage breakdown quickly, but they've also had to contend
- 8:36Speaker 1: with these cheating allegations that came out as soon as
- 8:39Speaker 1: they stepped out on the red carpet together.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because when Tammy and Grayson had launched their relationship,
- 8:45Speaker 2: his ex-girlfriend's sisters publicly accused him of cheating on their
- 8:50Speaker 2: sister with Tammy. Now, Grayson has denied those allegations. I
- 8:54Speaker 2: have to put out there But they did seem to
- 8:57Speaker 2: have a little bit of proof, didn't they?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it didn't look great. And I think
- 9:00Speaker 1: that's a big reason why Grayson hasn't been embraced by
- 9:03Speaker 1: Tammy's 16 million followers with open arms. Now, we need
- 9:08Speaker 1: to talk about this post because it appeared like Grayson
- 9:10Speaker 1: was addressing the haters when he uploaded a photo of
- 9:13Speaker 1: him hugging Tammy in a photo booth with the caption,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you wouldn't get it. Now, Tammy responded, just love you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: To which Grayson posted a lock emoji, presumably saying, we're
- 9:24Speaker 1: locked in.
- 9:25Speaker 2: That's huge. I think this is the first time that
- 9:28Speaker 2: we've heard them exchange I love you's. I mean, actually,
- 9:32Speaker 2: to be fair, he didn't actually exchange it with her.
- 9:34Speaker 2: He didn't say it back. He just sent an emoji.
- 9:37Speaker 2: But this is just making me even more concerned for Tammy.
- 9:41Speaker 2: She really does wear her heart on her sleeve, doesn't she?
- 9:44Speaker 1: The whole caption's a red flag. Because it's like, you
- 9:46Speaker 1: wouldn't get it. It's the world against us. Everyone's against us,
- 9:50Speaker 1: but we're going to show them. It's like, wasn't this
- 9:52Speaker 1: the mentality in your last relationship? And presumably why you
- 9:56Speaker 1: guys went ahead and got married when you had all
- 9:58Speaker 1: of these issues going on within that relationship. relationship?
- 10:01Speaker 2: Well, she continued to gush about him across her social.
- 10:03Speaker 2: So she shared a video of the two canoodling on
- 10:06Speaker 2: the beach with the caption, no revenge because God gifted
- 10:10Speaker 2: me the sweetest man. I think that should say boy,
- 10:13Speaker 2: as an apology for everything I've been through. I mean,
- 10:17Speaker 2: come on. Come on, that's rage baiting, surely.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Well, one follower responded saying, I'm too traumatised to trust this,
- 10:23Speaker 1: to which Tammy replied, don't worry, girl, same, but I'd
- 10:26Speaker 1: rather risk getting hurt than missing out on something beautiful.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Could these comments have been copied and pasted from when
- 10:31Speaker 1: she hard launched Matsukowski?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Like it is just deja vu. I think as bad
- 10:36Speaker 2: as it sounds, we are starting to realise who the
- 10:38Speaker 2: problem is in this scenario. And I know that it's
- 10:42Speaker 2: because she loves love and she falls hard But, I mean,
- 10:46Speaker 2: surely her sisters are just fucking sitting there rolling their eyes. Like,
- 10:49Speaker 2: you know, we have the same sort of dynamic with
- 10:51Speaker 2: having three sisters and you would just be like, oh,
- 10:54Speaker 2: my God, can you just fucking meet someone normal? Could
- 10:58Speaker 2: you just slow down? Or keep it offline.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It's interesting you touch on Emily and Amy Hembrough because
- 11:04Speaker 1: Tammy recently appeared on Emily's podcast alongside Amy. They've been
- 11:08Speaker 1: doing some episodes where they, you know, just catch up
- 11:10Speaker 1: as a trio and you would have assumed that that
- 11:13Speaker 1: they would have a chat about Tammy's new boyfriend. He
- 11:15Speaker 1: was not mentioned at all, which makes me think they
- 11:19Speaker 1: probably don't like him.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Of course they don't like him. They can see what
- 11:23Speaker 2: his intentions are like the rest of us. Getting back
- 11:26Speaker 2: to these comments though on Tammy's TikTok, I have to
- 11:28Speaker 2: read out another. Someone wrote, God sent with a question mark.
- 11:32Speaker 2: People said he was taken. To which Tammy responded, people
- 11:36Speaker 2: are wrong, sis.
- 11:38Speaker 1: The fact that Tammy responded to that, it's like don't
- 11:41Speaker 1: give it oxygen. Like it just shows that it clearly
- 11:43Speaker 1: bothers you and maybe perhaps there's more to it.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I think that she uses her comment section to generate
- 11:50Speaker 2: more stories about her life because it increases her earnings
- 11:55Speaker 2: at the end of the day. Like I think she
- 11:57Speaker 2: loves all of everyone guessing what's going on. and all
- 12:00Speaker 2: of the gossip.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Grayson is obviously getting around posting more videos
- 12:05Speaker 1: of Tammy because it's also good for his engagement. So he,
- 12:08Speaker 1: of course, posted a video with Tammy this week. And
- 12:10Speaker 1: in it, she mimed to, would you still love me
- 12:13Speaker 1: if I was crazy? And Grayson replied, you are crazy.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I just think they both need to step off TikTok
- 12:18Speaker 2: for a second. Like, this is not going to age well. Now,
- 12:22Speaker 2: there has been a lot of speculation around whether Tammy
- 12:26Speaker 2: has introduced Grayson to her children. And it became very
- 12:30Speaker 2: clear over the weekend that she has. So she hosted
- 12:34Speaker 2: a viewing party with her family and friends to celebrate
- 12:36Speaker 2: her appearance on the new reality show Shark. And she
- 12:40Speaker 2: filmed the behind the scenes of the party to a TikTok.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And while it didn't include Grayson in the reel, it
- 12:46Speaker 2: was very clear that he was there. He was just
- 12:48Speaker 2: out of camera shot because not only could you hear him,
- 12:52Speaker 2: but she showed off a shark cake that he made.
- 12:55Speaker 1: She had that sort of embarrassed look on her face
- 12:56Speaker 1: where she's clearly absolutely smitten with him. And she kind
- 13:00Speaker 1: of wanted to show it off to her sisters, but
- 13:02Speaker 1: she just knew that they wouldn't approve. I mean, they
- 13:05Speaker 1: were kind of ripping into it saying that it looked crap,
- 13:07Speaker 1: which to be fair, it did look a bit crap,
- 13:10Speaker 1: but pretty sweet that he made it for her. There
- 13:12Speaker 1: was a lot of effort that was put into it.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Oh, like I don't want to be too harsh, particularly
- 13:15Speaker 2: with my son's birthday coming up and me having to
- 13:18Speaker 2: try a woman's weekly cake. But I mean, this did
- 13:21Speaker 2: look like a child made it. And pardon the pun,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I mean, he is very young, but he isn't a child.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Like he wasn't good. The thought was there. It was
- 13:30Speaker 2: very sweet that he attempted it. But again, was this
- 13:32Speaker 2: sort of a bit of attention-seeking move? Like, oh, look
- 13:35Speaker 2: at the cake that I made you. Or am I
- 13:36Speaker 2: being too cynical?
- 13:38Speaker 1: I mean, it was a content opportunity for him, wasn't it?
- 13:41Speaker 1: And a way to be like, look, I do really
- 13:43Speaker 1: love Tammy. Like he's clearly trying to get in with
- 13:46Speaker 1: her audience and her family. It's interesting because originally when
- 13:50Speaker 1: Tammy and Grayson got together, it made sense because you're like, okay,
- 13:54Speaker 1: he lives in Sydney. She lives on the Gold Coast.
- 13:57Speaker 1: She's in Sydney a lot for work. So clearly she's
- 14:00Speaker 1: flitting back and forth. And it's kind of like this
- 14:02Speaker 1: hot holiday romance. You know, she's keeping her family life separate,
- 14:06Speaker 1: but it appears that he has been hanging out with
- 14:08Speaker 1: her on the Gold Coast a lot. And someone actually
- 14:11Speaker 1: asked Tammy's ex-fiance, Matt Paul, who is the father of
- 14:14Speaker 1: Tammy's child, Posey, how he felt about seeing Grayson hanging
- 14:18Speaker 1: out with her. So someone wrote, I feel for you,
- 14:21Speaker 1: Matt Paul. I wouldn't like Grayson around my daughter, especially
- 14:24Speaker 1: this soon. We saw them all together, but they both
- 14:27Speaker 1: posted anyway from the same location. And Matt Paul replied,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I don't like it, but some things are out of
- 14:32Speaker 1: my control, unfortunately.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I just love how rogue he is. Like he always
- 14:37Speaker 2: lets people know in the comment section how he's feeling.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I don't blame him though, because I feel like he
- 14:41Speaker 1: has a right to reply considering it's about his parenting.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And because people are probably like, oh, why are you
- 14:47Speaker 1: letting your child hang out with your ex's new boyfriend?
- 14:50Speaker 1: And it's like, well, he doesn't actually have much of
- 14:52Speaker 1: a say in the matter.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Well, getting back to the watch party, it was really funny.
- 14:57Speaker 2: watching Tammy's family getting so excited about her being on TV.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And it's just really ironic because mainstream media, like they
- 15:05Speaker 2: wouldn't even get as many views as she gets on
- 15:07Speaker 2: her stories. You know what I mean? Like she'd be
- 15:09Speaker 2: getting probably hundreds of thousands of views on these stories
- 15:13Speaker 2: or millions of views on her stories. And No one
- 15:15Speaker 2: really watches Frida Eyre anymore, but I suppose it's the
- 15:18Speaker 2: status of being asked to be on one of these television.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Shows, perhaps.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Tammy's father is an actor and he
- 15:25Speaker 1: has been on TV. So I think that also is
- 15:27Speaker 1: a part of the excitement that she's following in her
- 15:30Speaker 1: father's footsteps. Now, Sophie, have you watched Shark yet?
- 15:33Speaker 2: I don't watch Frida Eyre, so I haven't tuned in.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I actually haven't really seen this being cut up on
- 15:39Speaker 2: TikTok either because I sort of thought, oh, well, if
- 15:42Speaker 2: anything interesting happens, it'll just pop up on TikTok for me.
- 15:44Speaker 2: But I'm just not interested in the concept of this
- 15:47Speaker 2: show at all. I do want to hear if she
- 15:49Speaker 2: drops any little, you know, bits here and there about
- 15:52Speaker 2: her marriage breakdown, but it kind of almost feels like
- 15:55Speaker 2: old news now. I agree.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I don't know why this was the reality show she
- 16:00Speaker 1: agreed to because I'm assuming she's been asked a lot
- 16:02Speaker 1: of times to be on a show and I was like,
- 16:04Speaker 1: this one? The cast is just so random and boring
- 16:07Speaker 1: as well. I'm hoping if, as you said, something interesting happens,
- 16:10Speaker 1: someone will let us know or we'll see it on
- 16:12Speaker 1: TikTok shortly.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I'm more interested seeing her in her new hosting role.
- 16:16Speaker 2: So on Sunday, it was announced that she was joining
- 16:19Speaker 2: the third series of Geordie Shore's spinoff, Aussie Shore. So
- 16:23Speaker 2: she's going to be the new house boss. I think
- 16:25Speaker 2: that she would fill this role perfectly. The show is
- 16:28Speaker 2: being filmed on the Gold Coast, so it's perfect for Tammy.
- 16:31Speaker 2: She's replacing Charlotte Crosby, who was the former house boss.
- 16:35Speaker 1: When I saw this, I was like, and is Grayson
- 16:37Speaker 1: a contestant on the show? I mean, isn't he the demographic,
- 16:40Speaker 1: someone that is looking for a following and is in
- 16:42Speaker 1: their early twenties?
- 16:43Speaker 2: He does give Aussie Shore vibes. Maybe if he amps
- 16:46Speaker 2: up his tan a little bit more, he could definitely
- 16:48Speaker 2: get on there next season.
- 16:50Speaker 5: I'm sorry if I've seemed quiet or I haven't released
- 16:53Speaker 5: the amount of things that I would usually release on
- 16:55Speaker 5: like Sarah's day, but just know that I'm in this
- 16:57Speaker 5: building phase and I cannot wait to let you in
- 17:00Speaker 5: more and show you what I've been working on.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Sarah's Day has revealed she's in the process of building
- 17:06Speaker 1: two new brands. The OG YouTuber teased that the businesses
- 17:09Speaker 1: are risky and outside her comfort zone. Now, Soph, Sarah
- 17:13Speaker 1: made this announcement on her Instagram story.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was interesting to drop this news
- 17:18Speaker 2: in an Instagram story as opposed to a feed post
- 17:21Speaker 2: because It stops followers from publicly guessing what the businesses
- 17:25Speaker 2: are going to be. I mean, maybe it's a tactic
- 17:28Speaker 2: to drip feed this information and slowly build up suspense.
- 17:32Speaker 2: She said in the Instagram that she's been living a
- 17:34Speaker 2: secret life and she said that she's sorry if she
- 17:37Speaker 2: seemed quiet online and hasn't released the regular amount of
- 17:40Speaker 2: content that she usually would across her Sarah's Day platform.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I thought that was interesting because I have noticed that
- 17:46Speaker 2: she really doesn't vlog much anymore. Like it used to
- 17:50Speaker 2: be like you get maybe one every week or so.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But now it seems to be one vlog every month.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's been for ages now. And I don't
- 17:58Speaker 1: blame her because she's got three children that she looks after.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So it makes sense. But it's not like it's been
- 18:03Speaker 1: some dramatic shift.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Well, she said that the reason that she has been
- 18:06Speaker 2: so absent is because she's been knuckling down and working
- 18:09Speaker 2: so hard in this building phase of these two new brands.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Let's take a listen to more of what she said.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I've been feeling since getting pregnant with Harlow that I
- 18:19Speaker 4: was ready for a pivot or to... work on something
- 18:22Speaker 4: bigger and grow a team and just go for it.
- 18:27Speaker 4: And as you guys know, 2026 is my year of bold.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Bold is like my word of the year. So I
- 18:32Speaker 4: was like, if there's going to be a year that
- 18:34Speaker 4: I really go for it, it's going to be this year.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I found the mention of her growing a team really
- 18:41Speaker 1: interesting because while she has worked on a lot of
- 18:44Speaker 1: collaborations with bigger brands, she has also previously had her
- 18:47Speaker 1: own team. So in February, 2020, she launched a recipe
- 18:51Speaker 1: and lifestyle app called Sunny, and it was a subscription-based
- 18:54Speaker 1: app that released weekly recipes. So she actually had a
- 18:58Speaker 1: team that helped her put all of this together. There
- 19:00Speaker 1: were assistants, content creators, a naturopath, and a nutritionist, as
- 19:05Speaker 1: well as app developers. And she actually ended up shutting
- 19:08Speaker 1: down the app at the end of 2023 because she
- 19:10Speaker 1: didn't want to manage a team. She said that being
- 19:12Speaker 1: a mum of two young boys that she needed to
- 19:14Speaker 1: step back because it was so relentless. So it's pretty
- 19:17Speaker 1: interesting that now she's got a third child, but she
- 19:20Speaker 1: wants to step back into that environment.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but as someone who has consumed a lot of
- 19:24Speaker 2: her content recently, it's clear that she now feels like
- 19:27Speaker 2: she's in a different stage because she's no longer breastfeeding.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Her youngest son is almost two. I think he's two
- 19:34Speaker 2: in October. So she's feeling like she has a bit
- 19:37Speaker 2: more flexibility with her day. She's getting more babysitters. she's
- 19:42Speaker 2: able to actually get back into work. And I'm really
- 19:45Speaker 2: excited to see her return to more regular vlogging and
- 19:49Speaker 2: sharing business content and being back in that world because
- 19:53Speaker 2: it is really tough as a mum to have to
- 19:55Speaker 2: put that on pause. Over the past couple of years,
- 19:58Speaker 2: she hasn't really seemed herself as much. Like she has
- 20:01Speaker 2: sort of dimmed her light a little bit when it
- 20:03Speaker 2: comes to.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I think for Sarah, you can see that because she
- 20:06Speaker 1: had this plan, I want three kids and It's like
- 20:09Speaker 1: she had her blinkers on and she was in complete
- 20:12Speaker 1: mum mode. And as you said, Sophie, she's spoken about
- 20:14Speaker 1: how now her youngest Harlow is getting to that stage
- 20:18Speaker 1: where he's a bit more independent. Now she feels like
- 20:20Speaker 1: she can get back into being Sarah's date.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well, she dropped a couple of clues in her Instagram story.
- 20:26Speaker 2: She said that one of these projects is something that
- 20:29Speaker 2: she's been dying to do for a very long time now.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And she said it's something that no one else is
- 20:34Speaker 2: doing in the market. She also said that she feels
- 20:37Speaker 2: like the concepts are so obvious, but to other people,
- 20:41Speaker 2: perhaps they're not because no one seems to have picked
- 20:43Speaker 2: up on what either of these projects are just yet.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Well, she didn't leave her followers guessing for too long.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So on Tuesday, she dropped a major.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Clue about one of the businesses in her vlog.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And the vlog was called Keeping Secrets, Addressing the Changes
- 20:57Speaker 1: and Working on New Things. And when I say clue,
- 21:00Speaker 1: she literally spelt it out to her followers. So in
- 21:03Speaker 1: this vlog, she told the camera, that she didn't know
- 21:05Speaker 1: how much she wanted to show, but her followers could
- 21:08Speaker 1: read between the lines. So she showed a FaceTime call
- 21:11Speaker 1: with her interior designer, Maddie, who was at the house
- 21:13Speaker 1: of Grom Studio. And in the call, two podcast stands
- 21:17Speaker 1: were set up and Sarah was instructing the type of
- 21:19Speaker 1: curtains she wanted hung on the wall. So it looks
- 21:22Speaker 1: like the health code is coming back or maybe it's
- 21:25Speaker 1: coming back under a new name. Who knows? Is this
- 21:27Speaker 1: really a new project though? Because they had it for
- 21:30Speaker 1: years before.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing she did mention earlier. in the
- 21:34Speaker 2: vlog that she's been toying with the idea for a while.
- 21:37Speaker 2: And it was actually back in February, 2023, that she
- 21:41Speaker 2: announced that she was going solo in the podcast space.
- 21:44Speaker 2: So she was ditching Kurt as her co-host because as
- 21:47Speaker 2: you touched on Amy, they had a very popular show
- 21:49Speaker 2: called The Health Code, which they launched in 2018. And
- 21:53Speaker 2: they only really used to release sporadic episodes until it
- 21:56Speaker 2: was picked up by Spotify.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That's when things went downhill.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, because they were releasing these five-minute daily episodes and
- 22:04Speaker 2: it was all in a bid to top the charts,
- 22:06Speaker 2: but it became clear that it was just becoming a
- 22:08Speaker 2: burden for them to have to record all these nothing episodes.
- 22:11Speaker 2: And in October 2022, they took a hiatus from the podcast,
- 22:16Speaker 2: but they teased that it would be back in a
- 22:18Speaker 2: different form. It hasn't been back, but obviously in 2023,
- 22:22Speaker 2: Sarah had every intention of starting this new show that
- 22:25Speaker 2: was just about her. I mean, she ended up posting
- 22:28Speaker 2: a cover art of It showed her dressed all in white.
- 22:31Speaker 2: It looked very biblical. It looked like she had some
- 22:33Speaker 2: halo around her.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Assuming they're going to have to shoot a new cover
- 22:36Speaker 1: art considering this was several years ago now.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I mean, at the time it sounded like she wanted
- 22:41Speaker 2: to interview guests. So she was going to talk to
- 22:44Speaker 2: them about skincare, sleep, periods, motherhood, business and fitness. So
- 22:49Speaker 2: this gives us an insight into what this new podcast
- 22:51Speaker 2: is going to be about if it is just a
- 22:53Speaker 2: solo project.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Just what we need, another influencer podcast where they interview guests.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I hope that Kurt comes back as a co-host because
- 23:01Speaker 2: I really like their dynamic together. I really loved him
- 23:04Speaker 2: in all of her vlogs. And yeah, I think it's
- 23:08Speaker 2: more interesting when people have someone to bounce off as
- 23:10Speaker 2: opposed to just one voice during a podcast.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I think it's more that Kurt doesn't want to be
- 23:14Speaker 1: involved in the podcast. I think it's Sarah's passion project.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Maybe she's worried what Kurt will say because I think
- 23:20Speaker 2: that whilst obviously she's dropped controversial comments in the past,
- 23:23Speaker 2: I think she has toned it down a little bit.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I think she knows what she can and cannot say now.
- 23:28Speaker 2: But I feel like he's sort of like, whatever, I
- 23:30Speaker 2: don't give a fuck. Like I'll just say whatever.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I kind of feel like we're moving into this different
- 23:35Speaker 1: period where people are less concerned about being cancelled. So
- 23:39Speaker 1: I feel like maybe she's thought this is a great
- 23:41Speaker 1: time to come back.
- 23:42Speaker 2: What do you guys reckon the second business could be?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Well, it's got to be a fragrance company. She has
- 23:46Speaker 1: been teasing that she's been working on a perfume ever
- 23:49Speaker 1: since that debacle with Who Is Elijah.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I think that she's going to release a perfume, but
- 23:54Speaker 2: I don't necessarily think that it's one of the businesses
- 23:56Speaker 2: that she's talking about because she's saying that no one
- 23:58Speaker 2: has done anything like this before. I mean, there's plenty
- 24:00Speaker 2: of perfume brands. My immediate thought went to fitness and
- 24:05Speaker 2: I thought, I mean, this is, she's pumping it up
- 24:07Speaker 2: to be something quite big that she's going to launch.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I mean, we recently saw Steph Glessmith and Laura Henshaw
- 24:12Speaker 2: open up their own studio. Could she be opening up
- 24:15Speaker 2: a studio in Cronulla?
- 24:17Speaker 1: But it's, yeah, but the whole thing of her saying
- 24:19Speaker 1: no one's done it before is I think it could
- 24:21Speaker 1: be a product. She's been getting into running. Could she
- 24:24Speaker 1: be releasing some kind of running product? I don't know.
- 24:27Speaker 1: We'll have to wait and see. I was wondering if
- 24:29Speaker 1: we would see her get back into the app space
- 24:32Speaker 1: because when she launched Sunny, I was surprised that she
- 24:36Speaker 1: just didn't launch a fitness app. I mean, I know
- 24:37Speaker 1: that's not something that's out of this world new, but
- 24:40Speaker 1: to me, that would make sense. I mean, she tested
- 24:43Speaker 1: the water with her 560 fitness program last year. She
- 24:47Speaker 1: obviously made bank on that because since then she's been
- 24:51Speaker 1: doing all these house renos. So it would make sense
- 24:53Speaker 1: that that would then morph more into an app. Like
- 24:55Speaker 1: every other fitness influencer's got their own app that they're
- 24:58Speaker 1: making bank from.
- 24:59Speaker 2: My other thought is, is it something interior design related?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Because she hasn't really dipped her toe in that before,
- 25:05Speaker 2: but she does have a very aspirational house. I mean,
- 25:08Speaker 2: I personally love her style. They're about to start building
- 25:12Speaker 2: their holiday house, which looks absolutely incredible.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I mean, the fact that so much of her energy
- 25:17Speaker 1: is going into this house reno makes me think that,
- 25:20Speaker 1: you know, this fragrance that she's been teasing is a
- 25:23Speaker 1: part of a broader homewares product that she could be
- 25:27Speaker 1: creating that she shows off in these home renos. So
- 25:30Speaker 1: maybe it's a particular house fragrance. And I know, again,
- 25:33Speaker 1: that's not this out of the world idea. But to
- 25:35Speaker 1: be honest, I don't think it's going to be this
- 25:37Speaker 1: product that we've never ever seen before. She's just putting
- 25:39Speaker 1: marketing spin on it to get people excited. Can we
- 25:42Speaker 1: tell everyone about the neighbor that hates you?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Someone keeps slashing Zara's tires. Am I allowed to talk
- 25:48Speaker 2: about this?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Podcaster Zara McDonald has revealed that a neighbor has been
- 25:53Speaker 1: deliberately puncturing her car tires in retaliation for her parking
- 25:57Speaker 1: outside their house. In the space of three weeks, Zara
- 26:01Speaker 1: found a nail in her tire three separate times.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Now, at first, she didn't realize that there was actually
- 26:07Speaker 2: foul play involved. She said that she thought that she
- 26:09Speaker 2: just kept running over nails. She even messaged her co-host
- 26:13Speaker 2: Michelle saying, oh my God, I've run over an L again.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Now, it wasn't until her husband, Ollie, pointed out that
- 26:19Speaker 1: it could be deliberate that she finally twigged. I mean,
- 26:21Speaker 1: the signs were there. So she said that she'd received
- 26:24Speaker 1: two notes in her car, essentially telling her, park better dipshit. Now,
- 26:29Speaker 1: her crime in the eyes of this neighbor was that
- 26:31Speaker 1: she had been parking her car in the vicinity of
- 26:34Speaker 1: their house. Now that makes me think that the person
- 26:37Speaker 1: that put nails under her tyres was a retiree because
- 26:40Speaker 1: this seems to be a big deal with that age group.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I also think that it's probably a grumpy old man
- 26:46Speaker 2: doing this. Like I don't think a female retiree is
- 26:48Speaker 2: doing this. Our dad gets so pissed off if anyone
- 26:52Speaker 2: parks out the front of his house. Like he will
- 26:54Speaker 2: literally monitor whose car is who.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I never got it until recently though. Like the other
- 26:59Speaker 1: day I went to park in front of our house
- 27:01Speaker 1: and there was someone out the front and I'm like,
- 27:04Speaker 1: excuse me? I was so enraged. I was like, all
- 27:08Speaker 1: these other places, this is our house. Like this is
- 27:10Speaker 1: my house. You can't park out the front. And then
- 27:12Speaker 1: I was like, okay, just chill. I can't get into
- 27:15Speaker 1: this grumpy category, but I can see how it can
- 27:19Speaker 1: enrage you. Especially if there's a park outside Zara's house that.
- 27:22Speaker 3: She could park in front of.
- 27:23Speaker 1: It does piss me off too. But then I realized
- 27:26Speaker 1: that I probably pissed my neighbors off because where I
- 27:28Speaker 1: park is directly where the person tries to back out.
- 27:32Speaker 1: And I live on a very hilly street and I'm like,
- 27:34Speaker 1: I'm not really making it easy for them.
- 27:36Speaker 2: At the end of the day, I kind of just
- 27:37Speaker 2: want to say get a life though. You know what
- 27:39Speaker 2: I mean? Like she clearly lives on this street. She's
- 27:40Speaker 2: allowed to park in the vicinity of her own home.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I'm not condoning someone putting nails under her fucking tires.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Like that's just wild.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I mean, she said she's fixed the situation by now
- 27:51Speaker 2: parking on the other side of the road and it
- 27:53Speaker 2: hasn't happened since. I mean, she was a lot cooler
- 27:56Speaker 2: about this than I would have been. She said that
- 27:58Speaker 2: she thinks it's funny and not necessarily funny. malicious. I mean,
- 28:01Speaker 2: I actually think it is pretty malicious. I mean, it
- 28:03Speaker 2: was a big move to go and puncture someone's tire
- 28:06Speaker 2: three times in three weeks.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's quite threatening behavior. I mean, that makes me
- 28:10Speaker 1: think that maybe Zara was doing the wrong thing though.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Because if I had continually parked in front of someone's house,
- 28:15Speaker 1: I could tell that they were pissed off or I'd
- 28:16Speaker 1: parked really badly. And then someone had been malicious like that,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'd probably be like, oh, well, fair enough. I have
- 28:23Speaker 1: been a bit of a wanker.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Well, she was saying that she's not the best at parking.
- 28:26Speaker 2: So perhaps she didn't park that well. But I just
- 28:29Speaker 2: don't think that there's any excuse for someone to put
- 28:32Speaker 2: nails in your tire. I mean, tires are so expensive,
- 28:35Speaker 2: not to mention the hassle of actually having to go
- 28:37Speaker 2: and get the fix when you're pregnant. Like what an
- 28:40Speaker 2: absolute pain in the ass.
- 28:41Speaker 1: The fact that she is pregnant, like someone targeting a
- 28:43Speaker 1: pregnant woman's car because they parked poorly.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I mean, I get the vibe that she probably lives
- 28:48Speaker 2: in a pretty affluent area. So there probably are a
- 28:51Speaker 2: lot of older retirees who live around there. Maybe they've
- 28:56Speaker 2: got their nose out of joint because Again, I am
- 28:58Speaker 2: making assumptions here, but I guess that she'd probably have
- 29:00Speaker 2: a pretty nice car if they're making the bank that
- 29:02Speaker 2: it's been reported that they're making on Shameless. So maybe
- 29:04Speaker 2: this older individual is like, oh my God, look at
- 29:08Speaker 2: this young girl with this incredible car. How dare she
- 29:10Speaker 2: park it? Like a bit of tall poppy going on.
- 29:12Speaker 1: This is just giving me flashbacks to Toby Pierce, who's
- 29:15Speaker 1: Rachel Dillon's husband. When he was with Kayla Edsinas and
- 29:19Speaker 1: living in Adelaide, he had a car that had the
- 29:21Speaker 1: number plate Pablo. And it was this big, I can't remember,
- 29:25Speaker 1: was it a Porsche or something really fancy? And his
- 29:28Speaker 1: car would just be spotted everywhere, parked poorly or it
- 29:31Speaker 1: was up on curbs and it just became this joke
- 29:33Speaker 1: around Adelaide.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Well, it would be that he'd be parked across like
- 29:37Speaker 2: two parks and everyone would be like, what a fucking douchebag.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I mean, maybe that's why.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I can't imagine Zara doing that.
- 29:43Speaker 2: No, I mean, Zara doesn't really open up much about
- 29:45Speaker 2: her personal life, but they kick things off with this story,
- 29:47Speaker 2: which is quite unlike them. Maybe she was worried that
- 29:51Speaker 2: someone was going to say, oh, she's an absolute prick.
- 29:54Speaker 2: you know, with parking and stuff.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Well, that's funny because a few months prior, Michelle started
- 30:00Speaker 1: off an episode of Shameless by talking about how she
- 30:04Speaker 1: was outed in a Facebook community group for allegedly leaving
- 30:08Speaker 1: dog poo on the lawn. So yeah, she claims that
- 30:12Speaker 1: that was not what happened at all. She picked the
- 30:14Speaker 1: poo up, but this person on the street thought that
- 30:17Speaker 1: she'd left it there and then taken a photo of
- 30:18Speaker 1: her and some of her friends had seen it and
- 30:20Speaker 1: were like, wait a sec. You've popped up on this
- 30:23Speaker 1: Facebook community page. And I mean, imagine how many people,
- 30:27Speaker 1: these girls are hugely famous amongst Gen Zers and millennials
- 30:30Speaker 1: in Australia. Like imagine seeing Michelle Andrews on your community group.
- 30:35Speaker 2: This is actually a new fear unlocked because there have
- 30:37Speaker 2: been times where I've been caught short when I've got
- 30:39Speaker 2: my pram and Archie and I don't have a bag
- 30:41Speaker 2: and I've had to dash back to the park nearby,
- 30:44Speaker 2: go and get a bag to go and pick it up.
- 30:46Speaker 2: And like, it could look like I'm leaving it.
- 30:48Speaker 1: I'm glad you stipulated that Archer, your dog was there
- 30:51Speaker 1: because it almost sounded like we were having another Sydney
- 30:54Speaker 1: poo incident then.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Like Roxy just said, goes business front.
- 30:58Speaker 1: It's funny. The other day we were actually picking up
- 31:00Speaker 1: one of our dog's poos outside our neighbor's house who
- 31:03Speaker 1: lives down the road. And he was like, oh, why
- 31:06Speaker 1: are you doing that? Don't worry about it. If it
- 31:07Speaker 1: shits in my yard, just leave it. And we were like, really?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Why does he have dogs himself? Okay. Well, this guy,
- 31:15Speaker 1: he always gives us strange advice when we walk past
- 31:18Speaker 1: and He was like, why do you walk your dog
- 31:20Speaker 1: on leads? Like, don't they just follow your instructions and
- 31:22Speaker 1: walk next to you? It's like, mate, you have no
- 31:25Speaker 1: idea about these dogs. Then they got a dog and
- 31:28Speaker 1: we've never seen him walk it because we were like, well,
- 31:30Speaker 1: we're really interested to see if he walks not on
- 31:32Speaker 1: a lead. I mean, having random dog shit in your yard,
- 31:35Speaker 1: that would be the worst thing ever, especially the shit
- 31:37Speaker 1: that your dogs produce. It wouldn't be very nice stepping
- 31:40Speaker 1: on that. It's on the lower end of the street.
- 31:43Speaker 1: So like it would be actually not somewhere that he
- 31:45Speaker 1: would step. I think he was saying it would be
- 31:47Speaker 1: good for his garden.
- 31:48Speaker 2: That's why I'm laughing because obviously it's been like a
- 31:53Speaker 2: bit wintery and wet here. And this like a couple
- 31:57Speaker 2: of weeks ago, so when it was still autumn, I
- 31:59Speaker 2: was wearing Birkenstocks because it was sort of that hot
- 32:01Speaker 2: and then cold weather. And one night I took Archie
- 32:04Speaker 2: out to do a wee and we hadn't been that
- 32:06Speaker 2: good at picking up the poo. I literally stepped in
- 32:08Speaker 2: the biggest, sloppiest poo in these Birkenstocks. And because it
- 32:12Speaker 2: was so late at night, I was like, oh, fuck,
- 32:13Speaker 2: can't be bothered to pick that up and that will
- 32:15Speaker 2: be a tomorrow problem. They ended up sitting there for
- 32:17Speaker 2: weeks on end, these shoes. I just poo all over them.
- 32:21Speaker 1: You know when you know that you're never actually going
- 32:22Speaker 1: to clean them and you're like, well, those shoes are
- 32:24Speaker 1: gone forever.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Well, the Birkenstocks are actually still sitting outside, but I
- 32:27Speaker 2: have proceeded to put them next to the little step there.
- 32:30Speaker 2: But I think they're ruined. I don't think I'm wearing
- 32:32Speaker 2: them again.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I can beat your story and I feel like this
- 32:34Speaker 1: probably should be a story for the mums group or whatever.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Has anyone else ever accidentally stepped foot in child's poo,
- 32:41Speaker 1: like bare feet?
- 32:43Speaker 3: That happened to me.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I'm guessing you have.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Recently. I don't know whether to go into further detail.
- 32:49Speaker 3: So where was the poo? During a transfer of the
- 32:52Speaker 3: nappy to the bin.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Some of that had fallen out and.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Then I had proceeded to walk through it.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So that's.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Do you know what.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I think though?
- 33:03Speaker 2: Whenever I deal with baby poo. I'm kind of like
- 33:06Speaker 2: they eat so healthy. This is just literally like vegetable.
- 33:08Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 33:11Speaker 1: See, no, I still don't. Like even though my son
- 33:14Speaker 1: eats pretty well, I'm like, no, I don't want to
- 33:16Speaker 1: be stepping in it or touching it. Well, on that note,
- 33:19Speaker 1: I think we probably should wrap things up. That's a
- 33:21Speaker 1: bit of a plug for the type of content that
- 33:23Speaker 1: you hear on the Mums Group. If you haven't already,
- 33:26Speaker 1: make sure you follow the Mums Group on Apple Podcasts
- 33:29Speaker 1: or Spotify.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I've actually had quite a few people messaging us saying,
- 33:32Speaker 2: I don't even have kids and I quite enjoy listening
- 33:34Speaker 2: to the mum's group. Like you don't have to be
- 33:36Speaker 2: a mum to listen to. I mean, it probably helps
- 33:38Speaker 2: if you are, but we do tell a few rogue stories.
- 33:41Speaker 3: If you like poo stories like that, then potentially tune in.
- 33:46Speaker 2: If you like what you heard on this episode.
- 33:51Speaker 3: I haven't even done subscribe.
- 33:53Speaker 1: This is probably not the best promo. I swear that
- 33:55Speaker 1: we don't just talk about poo on there. I think
- 33:56Speaker 1: we actually haven't spoken about it. No, I'm just joking.
- 34:00Speaker 2: We had an episode entitled like the blowout of all blowouts.
- 34:03Speaker 2: We haven't spoken about poo on there before.
- 34:05Speaker 1: That was actually the most clicked on episode, downloaded episode.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Can I also put out there before we do wrap
- 34:11Speaker 2: this episode up that I apologize for my voice. Obviously,
- 34:14Speaker 2: I've been getting over a cold. I'm actually completely fine.
- 34:16Speaker 2: But my voice has been gone for like a week now.
- 34:18Speaker 2: It's so utterly frustrating. So sorry if everyone has to
- 34:20Speaker 2: listen to my voice like this.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Soph and I just keep taking in turns sounding like
- 34:24Speaker 1: shit on this podcast. Now, if you want to hear
- 34:26Speaker 1: more content from us, we drop a bonus episode of
- 34:28Speaker 1: Outspoken every Thursday for our Outspoken cast subscribers. If you
- 34:33Speaker 1: want to subscribe, it's $ 5. 99 a month and you get
- 34:35Speaker 1: an extra episode every week. All the details to sign
