- 0:29Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Take a big
- 0:35Speaker 1: deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently
- 0:41Speaker 1: breathe out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in
- 0:50Speaker 1: and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. One
- 0:59Speaker 1: last time. Deep breath in And slowly and gently breathe
- 1:07Speaker 1: out through your mouth. Just feel the gentle rhythm of
- 1:12Speaker 1: your breath. Feel a steady beat of your heart. And
- 1:19Speaker 1: just take a moment to listen to your heartbeat. Hear
- 1:23Speaker 1: it going thumpity-thump, just gently. Feel the gentle rise and
- 1:30Speaker 1: fall of your chest as it moves in time with
- 1:33Speaker 1: your heartbeat. And with each bit of your heart, you
- 1:38Speaker 1: feel more and more relaxed. More and more calm. And
- 1:45Speaker 1: more and more peaceful. And every time you breathe in,
- 1:51Speaker 1: you are breathing in deep relaxation. Making you feel all
- 1:57Speaker 1: warm and fuzzy inside. Now imagine that you're standing on
- 2:05Speaker 1: a secluded beach. And the sand is beautiful and very white.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And it's very early in the morning and you're sitting
- 2:16Speaker 1: barefoot on the sand. You're just sitting there watching the
- 2:21Speaker 1: sunrise and feeling very happy. You can see all its
- 2:27Speaker 1: glorious colours as it slowly rises up to begin the
- 2:32Speaker 1: new day. You can hear the rhythmic sounds of the
- 2:38Speaker 1: waves as they gently come up onto the shore. And
- 2:44Speaker 1: you can hear the seabirds soothe and swoop as they
- 2:49Speaker 1: fly above you. And it brings you comfort, a feeling
- 2:54Speaker 1: of deep peace and happiness because they look happy too.
- 3:01Speaker 1: The ocean mist is cool on your face and you
- 3:04Speaker 1: can smell the salty air You can even taste it.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You can even smell the seaweed and the sand smells
- 3:13Speaker 1: clean and fresh. You sit there watching the sunrise gradually
- 3:22Speaker 1: from the sea changing the sky from a dark blue
- 3:26Speaker 1: to a brilliant yellow and orange colour and it makes
- 3:30Speaker 1: a rolling wave sparkle as the sunlight dances on it
- 3:34Speaker 1: and it's like a thousand tiny lights, all shining and
- 3:38Speaker 1: dancing just for you. You take a good look around
- 3:44Speaker 1: you and you notice that further along the beach are
- 3:47Speaker 1: some lovely rocks and you can go and explore them.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Maybe there's even some rock pools too. So you stand
- 3:55Speaker 1: up and you walk towards them, listening to the ocean
- 3:59Speaker 1: waves as they come up onto the sand, gently coming
- 4:03Speaker 1: in to cover shells and bits of seaweed And as
- 4:08Speaker 1: you watch the waves retreat back into the ocean, ebbing
- 4:11Speaker 1: and flowing, backwards and forwards, over and over again, you
- 4:18Speaker 1: reach the rocks and begin to explore what you can find.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You climb over some smaller rocks that are a bit
- 4:25Speaker 1: craggy and they're not that easy to walk on, so
- 4:28Speaker 1: you decide to be a bit more careful. After all,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you don't want to slip and fall over now, do you?
- 4:34Speaker 1: I know I wouldn't. You move on to more rocks.
- 4:39Speaker 1: These are a bit bigger now. Surely there must be
- 4:42Speaker 1: a rock pool there, you think to yourself. You come
- 4:46Speaker 1: across a nice little group of rocks and decide to
- 4:49Speaker 1: sit down and have a little mooch around them. And
- 4:53Speaker 1: to your delight, there is a lovely rock pool there
- 4:56Speaker 1: just for you to explore. You find a nice smooth
- 5:00Speaker 1: rock to sit on and put your bare feet in
- 5:03Speaker 1: the cool water. and it feels so nice gently moving
- 5:07Speaker 1: your feet around in the water. But keep your eyes
- 5:10Speaker 1: open for crabs or maybe a little fish who may
- 5:12Speaker 1: have gotten trapped when the tide went back out. If
- 5:16Speaker 1: they are in the pool they will have to wait
- 5:17Speaker 1: for the tide to come back in again so they
- 5:19Speaker 1: can swim along home. As you look around the rocks
- 5:26Speaker 1: you see that there are a lot of different rocks.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Some of them have a rough texture while some of
- 5:32Speaker 1: them feel quite smooth. Some of them are pokey, craggy
- 5:37Speaker 1: and grainy. Some of them are lumpy, gritty, rocky and bristly.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Some of them have a rather smooth texture and look
- 5:46Speaker 1: glossy and silky. Some of them have a rather smooth
- 5:50Speaker 1: texture and look glossy and silky. And some of them
- 5:54Speaker 1: feel a bit velvety and even slimy. But you don't
- 5:57Speaker 1: mind how they feel. You like all of them. As
- 6:02Speaker 1: you sit with your feet in the lovely cold water.
- 6:06Speaker 1: You hear a muffled sound, and you wonder where it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: coming from, because you can't see anyone, because there's no
- 6:13Speaker 1: one else on this beautiful beach, just you. You hear
- 6:17Speaker 1: the sound again. Then you hear a little voice saying,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you're squashing me, please get off me. You jump up
- 6:26Speaker 1: and look down at the rock you were sitting on. No,
- 6:30Speaker 1: it couldn't be, could it? The sound you heard was
- 6:35Speaker 1: coming from the rock, but that can't be right. Rocks
- 6:38Speaker 1: can't talk. Just then, the rock slowly begins to move.
- 6:46Speaker 1: The rock you were sitting on unfolds itself and you
- 6:51Speaker 1: see a little face peering out at you. You were
- 6:54Speaker 1: squashing me, so I had to tell you to move,
- 6:56Speaker 1: said the little rock. You are absolutely flabbergasted. The rock
- 7:03Speaker 1: is talking to you. How can that be? The little
- 7:08Speaker 1: rock sees that you are confused and says to you,
- 7:11Speaker 1: don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. My name is
- 7:15Speaker 1: Jacob and you are sitting with me and my family.
- 7:19Speaker 1: We are the guardians of the little sea creatures who
- 7:22Speaker 1: sometimes get trapped when the tide goes out and can't
- 7:25Speaker 1: get home. So we watch over them until the tide
- 7:28Speaker 1: comes back in again. We are called punky moths. And
- 7:33Speaker 1: we live in the sea mostly, but some of us
- 7:36Speaker 1: become guardians, so we live on the land too to
- 7:39Speaker 1: protect the sea creatures. As you watch, more of the
- 7:45Speaker 1: rocks begin to move and they unfurl themselves. And what
- 7:49Speaker 1: you see is really quite amazing. They all have lovely
- 7:54Speaker 1: little smiley faces with beautiful big kind eyes. And they
- 8:00Speaker 1: kind of look like chunky dolls, but made of rock
- 8:04Speaker 1: but they're very nice they all introduce themselves to you
- 8:10Speaker 1: and tell you their names but there are so many
- 8:12Speaker 1: of them you can't remember them all and it's wonderful
- 8:16Speaker 1: you're surrounded by lovely smiley rocks they tell you that
- 8:21Speaker 1: they were all born in the sea and that is
- 8:24Speaker 1: their home and they tell you that sometimes they get
- 8:28Speaker 1: to go back for a holiday but they do love
- 8:30Speaker 1: being on the land too They ask you if you'd
- 8:34Speaker 1: like to sit with them for a while and chat. Also,
- 8:37Speaker 1: they say you can help them protect the little sea
- 8:39Speaker 1: creatures trapped in the pool. Well, of course you say yes,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you would love to. And you can tell them all
- 8:46Speaker 1: about you and where you live. So sit for a
- 8:51Speaker 1: while and chat with the punky mutts and get to
- 8:54Speaker 1: know them. Maybe they are just like you. you you Wow,
- 11:23Speaker 1: that was fun, wasn't it? Talking to the punky moths.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But they tell you it's time for you to go
- 11:31Speaker 1: now as the tide will be coming in soon and
- 11:33Speaker 1: they don't want you to get trapped too. Neither do you.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So you stand up and say thank you and goodbye
- 11:41Speaker 1: to the punky moths and you promise that you will
- 11:45Speaker 1: come back and see them again. You walk back along
- 11:50Speaker 1: the sandy beach And as if by magic, you find
- 11:54Speaker 1: that you are in your very own bed again, feeling
- 11:57Speaker 1: all warm and snuggling beneath the covers. And as you
- 12:03Speaker 1: lie there, you remember the sounds of the ocean. You
- 12:08Speaker 1: remember the sounds of the birds as they flew above you.
- 12:12Speaker 1: You remember how happy you feel right now. But most
- 12:18Speaker 1: of all, you remember the wonderful, kind, and loving Punky
- 12:23Speaker 1: Mots who live their lives to help all the little
- 12:27Speaker 1: sea creatures. So remember, next time you are out and about,
- 12:35Speaker 1: take a good look at any rocks you may see.
- 12:39Speaker 1: They might not be just any rocks, they may be
- 12:43Speaker 1: Punky Mots. Maybe they're there protecting other creatures too. Keep
- 12:50Speaker 1: your eyes open when you're out Where you are breathing
- 12:55Speaker 1: quietly and gently now. And you feel so wonderful. You
- 13:02Speaker 1: feel so tired. So very sleepy now. But so very,
- 13:08Speaker 1: very happy. And you are drifting deeper and deeper into
- 13:17Speaker 1: a beautiful, restful sleep. So peaceful. So calm. So very safe.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Night night. Night night. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Thank you. You can also use the same method to
- 16:24Speaker 1: create a new layer. You can use the same method
- 16:25Speaker 1: to create a new layer. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
