  Speaker 2: So these are kind of like monster collectors that have

  Speaker 2: a type of watch. It's kind of like a robot

  Speaker 2: watch that you get drilled onto your hand at a

  Speaker 2: young age. And so it has like this thing on

  Speaker 2: it that's like a shifter and you can shift it
• 1:46
  Speaker 2: around kind of like Benton. But you have to travel
• 1:49
  Speaker 2: around the world to scan different type of monsters to
• 1:52
  Speaker 2: get them located into your watch.

  Speaker 3: So.

  Speaker 2: Once you get them located into your watch, you're able
• 1:58
  Speaker 2: to scan them and then morph into it.

  Speaker 3: and cheese sometimes they blast out of the refrigerator and

  Speaker 1: I believe I'm going to call the Biomorfer Universe. And

  Speaker 1: today is in fact a very special day. The day

  Speaker 1: you are finally old enough to apply to become a Biomorfer. Now,

  Speaker 1: I mean, in case this is your first time in
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: this universe, I should probably explain what a biomorpher is.

  Speaker 1: You see, there's a small group of people who are
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: trusted to become biomorphers and give in a special device

  Speaker 1: installed on their wrist that allows them to scan new
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: creatures and even turn into them. Everyone can apply to

  Speaker 1: be one, but not everyone makes the cut. So, well,

  Speaker 1: you find yourself both nervous and excited. It might be
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: the day you become a biomorfer, or it might be
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: the day you find out you never can be one.

  Speaker 1: You stretch, get dressed, eat a quick breakfast... And then

  Speaker 1: you jump into your family's hover car. Luckily, it's a

  Speaker 1: self-driving deal. Where would you like to go? The hover

  Speaker 1: car asks. Take me to the biomorpher headquarters, you order. Understood.

  Speaker 1: The car lifts up off of the ground, shoots into

  Speaker 1: the air, and before long... you arrive at a large,

  Speaker 1: very futuristic-looking city, and in the center of that city

  Speaker 1: is a gigantic building, the Biomorfer Headquarters, a sleek, towering
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: building in the heart of the city. The flying car
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: floats down in front of the building and comes to
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: a gentle landing beside the curb. Destination reached. The door
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: automatically opens up and you step outside. You walk through

  Speaker 1: the large doors of the building into a huge and
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: futuristic looking lobby with its very own waterfall and, well,
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: a sort of miniature indoor garden. You walk up to
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: the welcome counter. Hello, can I help you? The person
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: at the counter asks. Um, I'm here to apply to
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: be a biomorfer. Well then, you're in the right place.

  Speaker 1: Just step through those doors there. The man points towards
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: a large set of doors off to the side. You
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: walk towards them, swing them open, and find yourself in
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: a large room... Surrounded by a bunch of other kids
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: your age. Some look tough. Some look nervous. Some look
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: overly excited. A calm but commanding figure walks in. A biomorfer.

  Speaker 1: She's wearing a sort of military uniform. But she definitely

  Speaker 1: has a biomorfer attached to her left wrist. Welcome one

  Speaker 1: and all to our program. Today is a very auspicious day.

  Speaker 1: For today, we will see if you have what it
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: takes to become biomorphers like me. First, I must stress
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: the importance of this role. As most of you probably know,
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: Our world is often inhabited by strange creatures. Some refer
• 8:02
  Speaker 1: to them as monsters. But the truth is, they are
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: the results of passing through what we call quantum uncertainty fields.
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: Fields that exist throughout the universe where probability sort of changes.
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: As the earth passes through these fields, there is a
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: certain sort of confluence. And some living creatures, or even objects, well,
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: they sort of interact with the field in surprising and
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: wildly unpredictable ways, sometimes creating wonderful things, and other times
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: creating creatures who are less than helpful for society to continue. Now,
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: of course, these creatures aren't inherently good or evil, but
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: they certainly can be dangerous. Biomorphers are entrusted with wrist devices.

  Speaker 1: which allow them to scan these creatures, transform into them,
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: and even capture them. Today, as part of a test,
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: you will each be given a temporary biomorph band for
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: your trial. If you pass, your band will bond permanently
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: to you, and if you don't, It will detach itself forever. Now,
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: for those of you who have spoken to others who
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: have been through the trial before, I guarantee that your trial...

  Speaker 1: will not be the same. We switch them up regularly
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: to ensure that no one can cheat and that no
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: one has an advantage. We want to see what you
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: can do. So, if you're ready and accept the risks

  Speaker 1: and the possible life of being a biomorpha, step forward.

  Speaker 1: Not a single person in the room decides to walk away.
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: One by one, they all line up, and one by one,
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: they each have a little band strapped to their wrists.
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: You enter the back of the line since, well, you
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: were the last one there. And when you finally get
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: to the front, the woman slaps a band around your
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: wrist too. It automatically closes and shrinks to the perfect size. Now,
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: your bands have a few special functions that I should explain.
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: Number one is the scan function. Using this will allow
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: you to scan the quantum anomalies, which in turn will
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: allow you to mimic their powers and turn into them,
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: or a version of them anyways. All scanned creatures will
• 11:32
  Speaker 1: be available on your dial. Simply turn to the creature
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: and hit Accept. you will feel a strange tingling sensation
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: as the quantum anomaly will pass through your being as well,
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: turning you into a creature just like the one you scanned. Second,
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: each device has a set of capture disks inside it. Now,
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: Capture discs can be used to absorb and capture these
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: anomalies or monsters as many call them. However, capturing is
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: not an easy thing. You can't simply shoot a disc
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: and absorb a creature. The creatures must be perfectly still,
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: either unconscious or willing to be absorbed. Once absorbed, they
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: can be stored in the device. Whenever you reach a
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: biomorphous station, they can be transferred into our system, though
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: some do choose to keep certain friendlier creatures as pets, companions,
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: or helpers. You listen carefully, even though You've studied every
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: single thing you can about biomorphers, and you're pretty sure
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: you know the use of these devices better than the
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: person explaining it. Now, each of you will step up
• 13:16
  Speaker 1: to one of the doors behind me. You will enter
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: an elevator that will take you to your trial. Someone
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: in the crowd raises their hands. A tall boy with
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: a blue mohawk. Yes, you, the tall boy with the mohawk. Um, like,
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: how do we know if we passed the test or not? And, like,
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: how do we know what we're supposed to do? He asks. Well,
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: the thing is, I can't tell you that. You must
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: simply enter the room you're given. and do your best
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: to do the right thing. We will be monitoring, watching,
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: and judging. At the end of the test, you will
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: discover if you have passed or not. Uh, okay, the
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: boy says, putting down his hand, and looking rather uncertain. Now,
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: Step up to your doors. You and all of the
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: others your age step up towards their doors. The woman
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: presses a large button on the wall and at once
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: each of the doors slides open. You step inside what
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: looks like a little elevator. The doors close behind you
• 14:52
  Speaker 1: and the elevator shoots upwards. With a ding, the doors
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: hiss open, revealing, uh, well, an apartment. What looks like
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: just a normal, everyday apartment. Windows to the outside, a
• 15:13
  Speaker 1: living room, a kitchen, bedroom and washroom off to the side.
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: You carefully step inside, looking left and looking right. trying
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: to find, well, whatever it is you're supposed to be
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: trying to find. The kitchen looks like lunch has just
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: been made. There's a giant pot on the stove and
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: a huge bowl on the counter. Both of them are
• 15:45
  Speaker 1: full of mac and cheese. You walk past and look
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: at the mac and cheese. It smells delicious. but nothing
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: of interest seems to be going on there. You explore
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: the living room, you peek into the bedroom, which looks
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: pretty ordinary, and you even check out the washroom, but
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: you don't see anything. You walk back out into the
• 16:17
  Speaker 1: main area, and your watch begins to beep. Quantum anomaly detected.
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: Quantum anomaly detected, the watch says. Quantum anomaly? You quickly
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: spin around in your place, only to see the mac
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: and cheese from the bowl, and the mac and cheese
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: from the pot, and even the mac and cheese from
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: the fridge, rising up out of their containers and forming
• 16:52
  Speaker 1: themselves into balls. some kind of humanoid creature. A creature
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: made entirely out of mac and cheese. Mac and cheese,
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: it says, and then it reaches its mac and cheese
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: arm out towards you. A stream of mac and cheese
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: shoots towards your body. You quickly dodge to the left.
• 17:20
  Speaker 1: It passes by you and smashes into the couch. covering
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: everything in a sort of gooey layer of macaroni and cheese.
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: Its other hand comes towards you, and again you duck
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: out of the way, roll off to the side, and
• 17:38
  Speaker 1: hide behind a chair. You take a second to think,
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: to breathe, and to calm down. You really didn't think
• 17:49
  Speaker 1: you'd come across a giant living mac and cheese creature,
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: Out of all the things you were prepared for and
• 17:57
  Speaker 1: all of the different kinds of creatures you'd heard about,
• 18:00
  Speaker 1: you'd never heard of this. It also wasn't clear how
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: you'd defeat Mac and Cheese. You look down at your
• 18:09
  Speaker 1: watch and you start flipping through the screens, but all
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: of them are empty. All of them except the scan button.
• 18:20
  Speaker 1: And you suppose that that's really the only thing you
• 18:24
  Speaker 1: can use. You hear its voice again. Mac and cheese!
• 18:31
  Speaker 1: It says as a huge plume of mac and cheese
• 18:35
  Speaker 1: flies through the air above the chair. As soon as
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: the attack stops, you roll out to the side of
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: the chair, you point your watch towards the creature, and
• 18:47
  Speaker 1: you hit the scan button. A bright blue light shoots
• 18:52
  Speaker 1: out scans the creature, and the watch says, Quantum information acquired.
• 19:01
  Speaker 1: A new picture then appears on the dial, a picture
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: of a mac and cheese person. You quickly press the picture,
• 19:11
  Speaker 1: and a weird tingling sensation passes through your body. You
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: suddenly start to feel less solid. your body begins to
• 19:23
  Speaker 1: shift and transform into, well, mac and cheese. The other
• 19:31
  Speaker 1: mac and cheese creature attacks again with another blast of
• 19:36
  Speaker 1: macaroni and cheese. You instinctively try to move to the side,
• 19:42
  Speaker 1: but instead of moving like you normally would as one
• 19:47
  Speaker 1: solid person, all of the individual pieces of mac and
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: cheese sort of break apart and reform themselves over to
• 19:57
  Speaker 1: the side. Mac and cheese, you hear the creature say again,
• 20:06
  Speaker 1: though somehow... You hear something else behind those words, as
• 20:13
  Speaker 1: if you can tell what the words really mean. You
• 20:17
  Speaker 1: feel a sense of loneliness emanating from the creature, a
• 20:23
  Speaker 1: sense of fear. It's saying mac and cheese, but it means,
• 20:31
  Speaker 1: I'm lonely, help me. The creature unleashes another blast of
• 20:38
  Speaker 1: mac and cheese, and this time your body sort of
• 20:42
  Speaker 1: forms a giant hole in the center of itself, allowing
• 20:46
  Speaker 1: the blast to pass through. Instead of attacking, you decide
• 20:53
  Speaker 1: to take another tactic. You reach your mac and cheese
• 20:58
  Speaker 1: arm out in front of you, hold up your mac
• 21:01
  Speaker 1: and cheese hand, and you say... Mac and cheese. Though,
• 21:08
  Speaker 1: what you mean is, it's okay. Mac and cheese? The
• 21:15
  Speaker 1: strange mac and cheese creature says, looking at you. Mac
• 21:21
  Speaker 1: and cheese, you reply. It turns out that the strange
• 21:28
  Speaker 1: mac and cheese creature is simply confused. And wouldn't you
• 21:34
  Speaker 1: be if you were simple macaroni and cheese that had
• 21:37
  Speaker 1: suddenly come to life? Mac and cheese, you ask, inviting
• 21:44
  Speaker 1: the other creature to sit down. The macaroni and cheese
• 21:49
  Speaker 1: separates and reforms itself into a sitting position. You hold
• 21:55
  Speaker 1: up your left wrist, which still has the temporary biomorpher
• 22:00
  Speaker 1: on it. You switch through the screens until you find
• 22:06
  Speaker 1: the one for the capture discs. You press a button
• 22:11
  Speaker 1: and a little disc shoots out of the watch. You
• 22:15
  Speaker 1: place the disc on the ground below the mac and
• 22:19
  Speaker 1: cheese creature and it begins to glow. The glow spreads
• 22:25
  Speaker 1: out towards the creature and slowly, bit by bit... The
• 22:31
  Speaker 1: creature turns into blue energy and is then absorbed into
• 22:36
  Speaker 1: the disc. The disc shoots up and snaps into your
• 22:42
  Speaker 1: watch once more. With the threat gone and the creature captured,
• 22:48
  Speaker 1: you turn the dial on your watch once more back
• 22:52
  Speaker 1: to the human mode. You again feel that strange tingling
• 22:57
  Speaker 1: sensation and slowly... you revert to your normal human form.
• 23:05
  Speaker 1: A door at the other end of the apartment, one
• 23:09
  Speaker 1: you hadn't noticed before, opens up. You walk through the
• 23:15
  Speaker 1: door and find yourself in another room, in front of
• 23:20
  Speaker 1: Commander Lyra, the same woman who explained the whole thing
• 23:25
  Speaker 1: in the first place.' Congratulations!' She says, Most people are
• 23:33
  Speaker 1: stuck on fighting the creature, but you have demonstrated a
• 23:39
  Speaker 1: character trait that we really need in the biomorphers. You
• 23:46
  Speaker 1: showed sympathy at a very difficult time, and you remained
• 23:53
  Speaker 1: calm and used your brain throughout. As such, I am
• 24:00
  Speaker 1: happy to announce that you have passed your trial. Suddenly,
• 24:08
  Speaker 1: the temporary watch on your wrist sort of transforms itself.
• 24:15
  Speaker 1: The band disappears, and the watch attaches itself to your wrist. Somehow,
• 24:23
  Speaker 1: you don't feel any pain at all, but the device, well...
• 24:28
  Speaker 1: It becomes one with you. And you feel different too.
• 24:35
  Speaker 1: As if you have another sense. You don't even have
• 24:40
  Speaker 1: to look at the watch anymore to activate it. Somehow
• 24:44
  Speaker 1: you can just think about what you want it to do. Now,
• 24:50
  Speaker 1: there are a couple more things that I should probably explain.

  Speaker 1: Your biomorpha comes equipped with a map as well. Try
• 25:03
  Speaker 1: activating it now. Mentally, you decide to activate the map.
• 25:10
  Speaker 1: And sure enough, a map appears in your field of vision.

  Speaker 1: One that you can see, but you're pretty sure nobody
• 25:19
  Speaker 1: else can. It displays a map of the entire world.

  Speaker 1: You can see a little blue dot where you're standing
• 25:29
  Speaker 1: and thousands of little red dots flashing on the screen.

  Speaker 1: Different continents, different cities. Each of those dots is a
• 25:41
  Speaker 1: quantum irregularity. As a biomorpha, it's your job to travel
• 25:49
  Speaker 1: the world to find more quantum irregularities and to put
• 25:56
  Speaker 1: a stop to them. You will capture many different powers
• 26:02
  Speaker 1: and many different forms throughout, and, as I said before,

  Speaker 1: you may even find some creatures that you'd like to

  Speaker 1: keep as pets. Oh, and, well, we can't send you

  Speaker 1: out there with no way to get from place to place, so.

  Speaker 1: I've programmed your biomorpha with a bit of a surprise.

  Speaker 1: I recommend traveling up to the top floor before using it.

  Speaker 1: New quantum signature acquired, a voice inside your head says.

  Speaker 1: You think about exactly what that means, and a picture

  Speaker 1: appears in front of you. A picture of a gigantic bird.

  Speaker 1: A gigantic bird that looks like it's on fire. Pretty

  Speaker 1: much a phoenix, if you were to have to name it.

  Speaker 1: That form should help you get from place to place. Now, child,

  Speaker 1: ANOTHER DOOR OPENS UP, ONE TO ANOTHER ELEVATOR. YOU CLIMB

  Speaker 1: INSIDE AND LOOK AT ALL OF THE BUTTONS ON THE WALL.

  Speaker 1: You press the one for the very highest floor. It's

  Speaker 1: labeled Flight Deck. The doors close and the elevator zooms upward.

  Speaker 1: Before long, they ding again, the doors open, and you

  Speaker 1: find yourself standing at the very top of the Biomorfer headquarters.

  Speaker 1: On the roof, actually. You look down at your biomorfer,

  Speaker 1: turn the dial to the new phoenix-like creature, and hit accept.

  Speaker 1: The same strange feeling passes through your arms and legs,

  Speaker 1: only this time, you start to feel warmer as well.

  Speaker 1: Your body transforms into Your arms stretch out into huge wings,
