  It'll also fund the creation of a list of mental health resources.

  he served as Chief Behavioral Health Officer at the Boston Medical Center Health

  There he oversaw the implementation of its first behavioral health hospital.

  He also has experience with prevention and wellness, operational leadership,

  disaster mental health, and national mental health policy development.

  Illinois Governor JB Pritzker launches a plan to expand children's behavioral

  health services across the state. In his budget proposal this month,

  he's asking for over 22 million to fund the Children's Behavioral Health
• 1:35
  Transformation Initiative.

  The money will be used to implement a variety of recommendations to improve
• 1:41
  behavioral health services.

  These recommendations include expanding eligibility for current programs,

  standardizing reimbursement services rates,

  and offering behavioral health screenings in schools or healthcare settings to
• 1:56
  earlier address children's behavioral health needs. Mr.

  Pritzker has also signed an executive order to establish a chief position to

  lead the initiative. He's appointed child welfare expert Dana Weiner PhD.
