- 3:43Speaker 1: ninety one degree evening. It's raining, it's thunderstorming, it's sunny,
- 3:47Speaker 1: it's cloudy, it's warm, it's hot. I don't know what's
- 3:50Speaker 1: going on, but we are here on the Recess Bell regardless,
- 3:54Speaker 1: here on the Voice of Nasau Community College ninety point

- 4:21Speaker 6: M h.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 1: It's a solo operation today, but you know, I am
- 4:26Speaker 1: ready to go. Listen. I wanted to give everybody the
- 4:28Speaker 1: day off. The dedicated Recess Belt team. Listen, they work
- 4:31Speaker 1: very hard, they give their opinions, and they tire themselves out.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Sometimes need to give the voice boxes a break. You
- 4:37Speaker 1: need to enjoy the summer vacation. And I'm happy to
- 4:41Speaker 1: do that for them. But right now I am solo
- 4:42Speaker 1: and ain't no problem.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Man.
- 4:44Speaker 1: This is what I do. This is radio, this is personality,
- 4:49Speaker 1: this is the Recess Belt and I got plenty of
- 4:53Speaker 1: that aforementioned quality personality going to guide you through the
- 4:56Speaker 1: next two hours on until eight pm. And yo, don't
- 5:00Speaker 1: get me wrong, I know and I do hope that
- 5:04Speaker 1: y'all are having a great summer because I am having
- 5:09Speaker 1: quite the summer. It's been some bumps in the road,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but it has been largely great regardless, and I'm happy
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be here to share in that with you. Listen,
- 5:18Speaker 1: we only got a couple more weeks this summer, and
- 5:21Speaker 1: uh yeah, then it's September and it's fall leaves and
- 5:26Speaker 1: it's football season and it's madness. So you know, enjoy
- 5:30Speaker 1: it while we got it. I know there was has
- 5:31Speaker 1: been crazy. Like I said, lately, it's been pretty hot lately.
- 5:35Speaker 1: The hottest day of the week is today. It was today,
- 5:38Speaker 1: we'll continue into tonight. And that crazyest thunderstorm we had
- 5:42Speaker 1: a couple of a few minutes ago was definitely something.
- 5:48Speaker 1: The commute was something. The commute down from Bushwick was something.
- 5:52Speaker 1: The Grand Central Parkway was something. The Meadowbrook is always something.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But I'm here and you're here, and let's all share
- 5:58Speaker 1: in that recess to I'm a ninety point three w HPC.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So like I said, man, listen, hope everybody's having a
- 6:07Speaker 1: great summer me I'm taking. I've taken a different approach lately.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Now hear me out. The people that know me best
- 6:18Speaker 1: know that I love sharing my experiences with others, especially
- 6:22Speaker 1: on social media, Like whatever I'm doing, whether I'm at
- 6:24Speaker 1: a bar, at a club turning up, I'm at a
- 6:27Speaker 1: Knicks game, a Mets game, I'm at Yankee Stadium in
- 6:30Speaker 1: the Bronx, I'm in Brooklyn, I'm Manhattan, Queens. Wow, I'm
- 6:34Speaker 1: never in Staten Island. Y'all get the point. Anywhere I'm at,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I love sharing in that with the Recess Belt community
- 6:40Speaker 1: on social media and on my own personal page Youmahi
- 6:44Speaker 1: dot media on Instagram specifically, listen Instagram stories. People be like, oh,
- 6:50Speaker 1: don't overshare, don't do this, don't do that. You don't
- 6:53Speaker 1: want to show everybody everything, But nah, listen, it's a story.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna give y'all a story, document everything. Ain't that
- 7:01Speaker 1: what social media is supposed to be? Ain't that what
- 7:05Speaker 1: social media is supposed to serve towards? So typically I'm
- 7:08Speaker 1: like that, but I will say I have kind of
- 7:11Speaker 1: calmed that down lately. I don't know, I just feel
- 7:15Speaker 1: that as I'm getting older Listen, I turned twenty nine
- 7:21Speaker 1: years old. No, twenty nine, twenty nine. I know it's
- 7:26Speaker 1: up there. The kids call me unk. They're starting to
- 7:29Speaker 1: call me unk. I don't know quite how to handle that.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But regardless, my birthday is in about five weeks and
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm about to be twenty nine years of age. So
- 7:39Speaker 1: as you get closer to thirty, and as you get
- 7:42Speaker 1: older and older and older, you start to change certain
- 7:45Speaker 1: things up. And that's where I'm at.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yo.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I just feel like I don't need to have to
- 7:49Speaker 1: I don't feel they need to share every single thing.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And I was talking to a friend the other day
- 7:55Speaker 1: and they was telling me like, ah, yo oh, I'm
- 7:57Speaker 1: not into all that astrology spiritual stuff quite like that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I mean, I can't hold a conversation about it. But regardless,
- 8:05Speaker 1: they was telling me, Yo, Joshua, you don't got to
- 8:08Speaker 1: share everything. I don't like sharing everything. Listen, there are
- 8:11Speaker 1: monitoring spirits out there right, this whole monitoring spirit talking.
- 8:16Speaker 1: If you don't know what that is, it's basically somebody
- 8:18Speaker 1: that just watches you on social media, watches your every move,
- 8:23Speaker 1: watches what you like, watches what you comment on, watches
- 8:26Speaker 1: what you repost watches who likes you are like you
- 8:30Speaker 1: if you want a pretty girl likes they watch that too.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Monitoring spirits, That's basically what it is. So they were
- 8:36Speaker 1: telling me, oh, monitoring spirits. And I just get very
- 8:40Speaker 1: cautious nowadays about posting every single thing because you don't
- 8:43Speaker 1: know who's hating on you. You don't know what energy they're
- 8:46Speaker 1: gonna put out there. You don't know about that voodoo stuff,
- 8:49Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I know that's a thing,
- 8:51Speaker 1: always has been a thing. So that's what I've been on.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I've had a lot of great news that I've just
- 8:55Speaker 1: been chomping at the bit to share of everybody, you know,
- 8:59Speaker 1: career opportunities, educational opportunities, lifestyle changes. I'm like, you ever
- 9:08Speaker 1: see that episode of SpongeBob whorries, just like trying to
- 9:11Speaker 1: hold it in like a he's turning red and stuff
- 9:14Speaker 1: and sponges ain't supposed to turn red and all this stuff.
- 9:17Speaker 1: That's how I've been. I've been itching to tell everybody
- 9:20Speaker 1: about how great my summer has been, the things that
- 9:23Speaker 1: are happening in my life. But I'm trying to, you know,
- 9:25Speaker 1: play it cool, play it low key. You know, A
- 9:28Speaker 1: wise person once said, you know, don't share all your
- 9:30Speaker 1: good news, or don't share good news before it happens
- 9:33Speaker 1: or before it completely materializes. That's what I've been on.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So I just want to reassure everybody. While I have
- 9:40Speaker 1: not been that active on social media lately, I've been
- 9:44Speaker 1: active in these streets. You feel me, So I'm good.
- 9:47Speaker 1: But all being said, very special episode tonight for all
- 9:52Speaker 1: those that follow and have followed the Recess Bell since
- 9:55Speaker 1: its inception in twenty twenty three. You know that the
- 10:00Speaker 1: backbone of this platform I set it back in twenty
- 10:04Speaker 1: twenty three. I've said it increasingly over the past few
- 10:09Speaker 1: weeks on this very show. The backbone of this platform,
- 10:13Speaker 1: of this show will always be mental health. Mental health
- 10:17Speaker 1: is my background. Mental health is a passion that I
- 10:20Speaker 1: will always have and have had since I was a teenager.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Like it matters very much to me. And while I'm
- 10:25Speaker 1: not perfect in terms of taking everybody's mental wellness into account, Listen,
- 10:31Speaker 1: when you curse somebody out, gossip about them, slam it
- 10:34Speaker 1: a name and all this stuff, or you're just rude
- 10:37Speaker 1: to them, you never know what somebody's going through, and
- 10:40Speaker 1: you never know the impact that that can have on
- 10:42Speaker 1: somebody's mental health. So I always try to remind myself
- 10:46Speaker 1: of that. Again, I'm not always perfect, but that is
- 10:48Speaker 1: the backbone of how I go about life, and that's
- 10:50Speaker 1: the backbone of the Recess Bell for sure. So and
- 10:53Speaker 1: it has been that way even more so lately, Like
- 10:56Speaker 1: I've been extremely mental health conscious. So with that being said,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I've been talking to a lot more people that are
- 11:03Speaker 1: mental health conscious in sharing that background with myself, And
- 11:08Speaker 1: tonight I'm pleased to announce that the Recess Bell has
- 11:10Speaker 1: a great interview lined up for you tonight.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:16Speaker 1: His name is William Person. I don't know if you've
- 11:20Speaker 1: heard of him. Odds all, you probably have not, but
- 11:24Speaker 1: he is a former Team USA Bob's letter was on
- 11:28Speaker 1: the Team USA Bob sled team for over or almost
- 11:32Speaker 1: ten years. Was part of two Olympic runs with Team
- 11:36Speaker 1: USA and the Bob Sledding Team. That's not why I
- 11:38Speaker 1: want to talk to him, though. This guy, in his
- 11:41Speaker 1: cause just embodies what I just described. The Recess Bell
- 11:45Speaker 1: is and conversations I want to have surrounding mental health
- 11:48Speaker 1: and the brain. Right. So, if you're a football fan,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you know TRB Sports shout Out. That's our sports hub
- 11:55Speaker 1: talk about football all the time and matters of NFL football,
- 11:59Speaker 1: professional football, and there's something that's been in the news
- 12:05Speaker 1: regarding football for the past two decades. I want to say,
- 12:10Speaker 1: not even like a decade and maybe a half c
- 12:15Speaker 1: t e CT. It's a traumatic brain injury. Wells, WIT's
- 12:25Speaker 1: a disease. Let's be real. It's caused by hits to
- 12:29Speaker 1: the head concussions. Now, the NFL lore behind CT is
- 12:36Speaker 1: very significant. For those that don't know exactly when this
- 12:40Speaker 1: stuff kind of started. My Nigerian American brad Ah doctor
- 12:46Speaker 1: Bennett Amalu, Nigerian American forensic pathologist and neuropathologist. He was
- 12:52Speaker 1: the one that discovered and named chronic traumatic encephalopathy otherwise
- 12:58Speaker 1: known as CTE in American football players. In fact, he
- 13:02Speaker 1: was so courageous in doing all this stuff. There was
- 13:06Speaker 1: a filmmatee about him twenty fifteen, Will Smith starting it
- 13:10Speaker 1: titled Concussion. So that was what was going on with
- 13:15Speaker 1: Bennett Amalu, and the NFL was on this guy's neck.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You gotta understand, the NFL is a monopoly. It's a
- 13:20Speaker 1: billion dollar business. So they were looking at this guy
- 13:22Speaker 1: trying to put concussions in traumatic brain injuries on the
- 13:27Speaker 1: NFL and how these many car crashes I call in
- 13:30Speaker 1: between human beings. Yeah they got helmets on, but how
- 13:33Speaker 1: much of those really help? These many car crashes every
- 13:37Speaker 1: single play. And the NFL was like, oh, now, y'all
- 13:39Speaker 1: not about to do this to our game, y'all not
- 13:41Speaker 1: about to do this to our sport. Y'all not about
- 13:43Speaker 1: to have us look crazy in front of our fans.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So they really tried to undermine AMLU's work. He faced
- 13:50Speaker 1: a lot of opposition from the NFL attempting to discredit
- 13:53Speaker 1: his research. But today because Omalu stayed the course and
- 13:59Speaker 1: fought through and believes in his cause above everything else.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Ct is a widely recognized, widely accepted part of sports
- 14:09Speaker 1: and part of athletes. Just you want to avoid this
- 14:12Speaker 1: CTE the side effects wild dangers. You can have mood swings,
- 14:17Speaker 1: you can have anger spells, you can have very erratic
- 14:20Speaker 1: behavior that can have a wild effect and perhaps a
- 14:24Speaker 1: grave effect on your loved ones and your family and friends.
- 14:27Speaker 1: So definitely going to be excited about that. Will person
- 14:31Speaker 1: is a CTE activist. You know, Bob's letting is another thing.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It's not just football. Bob's letting any sport or any
- 14:37Speaker 1: activity as a human being where you suffer multiple hits
- 14:40Speaker 1: to the head on occasion, on repeat, you know you're
- 14:44Speaker 1: going to see that possibly come up. Unfortunately, CTE cannot
- 14:49Speaker 1: be diagnosed until you are dead and your brain gets
- 14:53Speaker 1: examined an autopsy. But yeah, William Person doing great work
- 14:58Speaker 1: in terms of helping people treat CTE for free. And
- 15:02Speaker 1: we've talked about CTE on TRB before the Midtown shooter
- 15:06Speaker 1: last September. Shane Tamura remember him, high school football player,
- 15:12Speaker 1: did not play football in college obviously then did not
- 15:15Speaker 1: play football professionally in the NFL. But he wrote on
- 15:20Speaker 1: his note, the note he had walking into this Midtown
- 15:25Speaker 1: building with a shotgun or an assault rifle. It was
- 15:32Speaker 1: an assault rifle. Had a note in his pocket discovered
- 15:35Speaker 1: after he was dead, saying I have CTE. Please examine
- 15:38Speaker 1: my brain. That's exactly what the doctors did, and lo
- 15:41Speaker 1: and behold, Shane Tamura has CTE. That affected William Person
- 15:45Speaker 1: a lot, and I cannot wait to bring that interview
- 15:47Speaker 1: to you again. It can happen to anybody. It's not
- 15:51Speaker 1: just football players. It's not just athletes that play sports
- 15:55Speaker 1: where you can suffer a lot of hits to the head.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It is anything. If you trip and hit your head sidewalk,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you're at risk.
- 16:03Speaker 6: You know.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Anything if you hit your head on the ceiling when
- 16:07Speaker 1: you're on a step ladder or something. Yeah, a risk.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And it's important that mental health things like that. Even
- 16:14Speaker 1: though this is a traumatic brain type of situation, it
- 16:17Speaker 1: is still tied to mental health in the way anything
- 16:20Speaker 1: mental health related. Awareness is the most important thing. Discourse
- 16:24Speaker 1: is the most important thing, and that's why I'm seeking
- 16:26Speaker 1: to have a lot more conversations on this platform with
- 16:29Speaker 1: people like William Person throughout the remainder of the year
- 16:34Speaker 1: and beyond on TRB the Recess Bell. But that's not
- 16:37Speaker 1: all it's going on on this show right crazy past week. Yo,
- 16:42Speaker 1: that jay Z. If you went to that jay Z concert,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I want to hear from you, Hit up the Recess
- 16:47Speaker 1: Bell on socials, call us up, Text us up five
- 16:50Speaker 1: one six six excuse me, I almost get my own
- 16:51Speaker 1: full number out five one seven four four zero. Hit
- 16:58Speaker 1: us up because that if you went to that jay
- 17:00Speaker 1: Z concert or you were anywhere near the Bronx. Yo.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Now Day one was cool, you know, great, event Day
- 17:08Speaker 1: two a little more a little shorter, a little less theatrics,
- 17:13Speaker 1: but still cool. Day three, yoh Yo, people was trying
- 17:19Speaker 1: to break into Yankee Stadium. They had to halt people
- 17:23Speaker 1: in terms of coming in. There was a four hour
- 17:26Speaker 1: delay on day three this past Sunday in the Bronx
- 17:30Speaker 1: at Yankee Stadium for this jay Z Extra Innings concert.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It did not end until three in the morning. Mind you,
- 17:38Speaker 1: I just want to put this out there, jay Z's
- 17:42Speaker 1: target audience. Right, if you've listened to radio, or you've
- 17:46Speaker 1: listened to or you work at WHBC, or you have
- 17:49Speaker 1: history of working in radio or media, you always hear
- 17:51Speaker 1: about the target audience you shooting for. Jay Z's target
- 17:54Speaker 1: audience are not the type of people that need to
- 17:58Speaker 1: be up until three in the morning.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Bro.
- 18:00Speaker 1: These are people in their thirties forties that were out
- 18:03Speaker 1: when reasonable doubt came out, the blueprint came out. Like.
- 18:06Speaker 1: These are people that got a ice state needs when
- 18:08Speaker 1: they go for a twenty minute walk and come home.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Like.
- 18:11Speaker 1: These are people that have a nice glass of wine
- 18:13Speaker 1: coming back from work after rush hour at six pm. Like,
- 18:16Speaker 1: these are not people that need to be out in
- 18:19Speaker 1: the Bronx of all places, at four am in the morning. No, Nah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: Jay z U wild for that Yankee Stadium, Bronx wild
- 18:27Speaker 1: for that. But I'm glad that it all went off
- 18:30Speaker 1: seemingly okay. So we're gonna talk about that for sure,
- 18:32Speaker 1: at the pleasure of being in Philadelphia over the past weekend,
- 18:36Speaker 1: over the past couple of days, MLB All Star when
- 18:38Speaker 1: we get to the sports reports, gonna talk about that
- 18:45Speaker 1: in addition to everything else going on in the world
- 18:47Speaker 1: of sports. Oh man, the World Cup, bro the yo,
- 18:53Speaker 1: the World Cup. Unbelievable. So Spain and advances yesterday. Spain
- 19:02Speaker 1: advances to the final that will be held this Sunday,
- 19:06Speaker 1: and they would play the winner of today's match between
- 19:10Speaker 1: England and Argentina. Right That match kicked off at three
- 19:15Speaker 1: pm today, a few hours ago. It concluded about an
- 19:20Speaker 1: hour ago, and Argentina and Lionel Messi and them down
- 19:28Speaker 1: by one goal with eighty plus minutes left. Mind you,
- 19:33Speaker 1: they were down versus Egypt. Came back, they were in
- 19:36Speaker 1: trouble in their last match, came back. You can't kill
- 19:41Speaker 1: these guys. They won. They came back to one again,
- 19:44Speaker 1: two to one final, they won with a game winning
- 19:46Speaker 1: goal in the ninety second minute. You can't kill them
- 19:49Speaker 1: it's like that old there's an old tweet I saw
- 19:51Speaker 1: with talking about President Trump, who's you know, always in
- 19:55Speaker 1: a bunch of controversies and all that, right, and the
- 19:59Speaker 1: tweet was basically like this, like, oh, Donald Trump is
- 20:02Speaker 1: in quite the pickle here, Like damn, I wonder there's
- 20:07Speaker 1: no way he wiggles his way out of this one, right,
- 20:09Speaker 1: And then lo and behold, President Trump wiggles his way
- 20:13Speaker 1: out of it and emerges from the fire unscathed. That's Argentina.
- 20:18Speaker 1: They have been on the hook so many times in
- 20:20Speaker 1: this World Cup, but you can't kill him. Much like
- 20:23Speaker 1: my reigning NBA champion New York Knicks Josh Hardy even said,
- 20:29Speaker 1: Argentina equals sign Knicks. Like, listen, I know, you get
- 20:36Speaker 1: up in the game, you're feeling good, you're feeling confident.
- 20:38Speaker 1: If you ever play sports, you always like to start fast,
- 20:41Speaker 1: start the game off good. But you always have to
- 20:44Speaker 1: finish to the end. And just like all these teams
- 20:48Speaker 1: could not close out the New York Knicks, all these
- 20:52Speaker 1: teams in the World Cup could not close out Argentina.
- 20:54Speaker 1: So Spain and Argentina is a World Cup final on Sunday.
- 20:57Speaker 1: We'll talk about that during the Sports Report the Championships
- 20:59Speaker 1: went Bimbledon came to a conclusion this past week NBA
- 21:03Speaker 1: free agency Lebron James it still had not made a decision,
- 21:09Speaker 1: old man, hurry it up. Kawhi Leonard might still be
- 21:12Speaker 1: in trouble. He was traded to the Raptors, but the
- 21:17Speaker 1: NBA said, nah, so fast. We got some sanctions that
- 21:20Speaker 1: might still be handed out for that cap circumvention scandal
- 21:24Speaker 1: that hit the sports world and we talked about on
- 21:27Speaker 1: this show almost a calendar year ago. Still no sanctions

- 26:57Speaker 1: say you claim and I gotta give you this is
- 27:00Speaker 1: a smart move where you say, you know, if y'all
- 27:03Speaker 1: ever catch me saying something crazy or texting something crazy,
- 27:07Speaker 1: that wasn't me. That was Ai, Michael Poenix, that was AI.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Right when you pulled that off, I said, I said,
- 27:16Speaker 4: Josh crazy with this technology, because I'm such an AI.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Expert, right, Yeah, exactly, This was definitely AI. Michael Poenick
- 27:24Speaker 1: speaking of AI. Mike McDaniel, head coach of the Dolphins.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Corey the Miami Dolphins, so he was caught on photograph
- 27:32Speaker 1: after their huge win versus Buffalo. He was up in
- 27:36Speaker 1: the neighborhood trolling a bar where Bills fans are often
- 27:39Speaker 1: in Miami for game days in Miami Bill's versus Dolphins.
- 27:43Speaker 1: So the media asked him about it, like, Yo, were
- 27:45Speaker 1: you really out there trolling Bills fans after that incredible
- 27:49Speaker 1: win versus Buffalo and Josh Allen on Sunday. Here's what
- 27:53Speaker 1: Mike McDaniel had to say.
- 27:55Speaker 6: That's why I like the good old days, you know,
- 27:57Speaker 6: the throwbacks of your you could trust you know, the
- 28:02Speaker 6: the Internet and the images because you know it is
- 28:04Speaker 6: pretty detail that you know, I do live in that area,
- 28:08Speaker 6: but I mean AI, right, I mean I live in
- 28:15Speaker 6: that area. AI is real. That's what I got for you.
- 28:24Speaker 1: If that ain't Corey to a team man, that's your
- 28:27Speaker 1: brother from another mother for real.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Remember this line from a famous movie for brothers. I
- 28:33Speaker 4: like the way he'd do business too.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Shameless nasty individuals can blame everything on AI.
- 28:42Speaker 4: How you know he was like he may live did
- 28:45Speaker 4: but how you know that was somebody just now you know,
- 28:47Speaker 4: placing a photoshop?
- 28:48Speaker 1: You know it's crazy, you know what, Corey?
- 28:51Speaker 2: You are right?
- 28:51Speaker 1: AI getting too crazy now day exactly have you seen
- 28:53Speaker 1: all these Charles James Kirk edits online?
- 28:56Speaker 4: Have you seen these these AI kiro active video?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Now I'm worried, but I'm curious, So check back with
- 29:06Speaker 1: me on that after the show. Actually, I really want
- 29:09Speaker 1: to see that.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the wildest, it's the wildest thing.
- 29:18Speaker 1: A lot of stuff happened. Yo, A lot of stuff
- 29:19Speaker 1: happened in the world of the world news wise, Right,
- 29:24Speaker 1: So we had we talked me and and NYE. Last
- 29:28Speaker 1: week's episode, we talked about Mitch McConnell, a senior senator
- 29:32Speaker 1: from Kentucky. Well, he hadn't been seen after he was
- 29:36Speaker 1: hospitalized for about three weeks, so much so that the
- 29:40Speaker 1: governor of Kentucky had to request proof of life from
- 29:46Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell. Right, and Uh, I think we can say
- 29:51Speaker 1: that we got that proof of life on Sunday. Now
- 29:58Speaker 1: I'm saying allegedly because like I just said, like I
- 30:01Speaker 1: just played the uh the OTRB clip there. AI is
- 30:06Speaker 1: getting crazy nowadays. I can't really believe everything. Like, trust me,
- 30:09Speaker 1: I want to believe the United States government is being
- 30:14Speaker 1: as transparent as they can be with us at every turn.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Trust me. There would be nothing more I would love
- 30:20Speaker 1: than to have that be a fact. But man, listen,
- 30:24Speaker 1: man listen, it's just it's just not the case all
- 30:26Speaker 1: the time. Allegedly, Right, So we have a Mitch McConnell
- 30:35Speaker 1: quote proof of life unquote update. We actually legitimately like
- 30:41Speaker 1: a thousand percent had a center to pass away this
- 30:43Speaker 1: past week Lindsey Graham from South Carolina, a sudden death,
- 30:47Speaker 1: a President Donald Trump, a eulogy tour of mister Lindsey Graham.
- 30:51Speaker 1: And how do ladybugs figure into Lindsey Graham's death? Ladybugs?
- 31:01Speaker 1: And listen, we've had a rough few years in terms
- 31:07Speaker 1: of world health.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:09Speaker 1: We can't forget the COVID nineteen pandemic. Right, we just
- 31:12Speaker 1: cannot forget that. You know, all the crazy side effects
- 31:17Speaker 1: and you know, people losing their life unfortunately in droves.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I come to find out that there's a widespread bacteria
- 31:26Speaker 1: that has touched down in the United States. It's touchdown
- 31:30Speaker 1: in various vegetables in California, and let us specifically so
- 31:38Speaker 1: I will update all of y'all on the Dukie demic.
- 31:46Speaker 1: It's called the explosive diarrhea. And everybody that eats lettuce
- 31:51Speaker 1: that has this bacteria on it. You can't make it up.
- 31:53Speaker 1: The Dukie deemic again, only the best with TRB. Let's
- 31:59Speaker 1: get it. Sounds like a lot of it sounds like
- 32:05Speaker 1: a lot of sounds like a This is the Recess
- 32:15Speaker 1: Bell's News Report, brought to you by the Recess Bell LLC,
- 32:19Speaker 1: the Network for Creatives, The woices are about to do.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Are not those official political anast records US past in
- 32:23Speaker 1: the rooms, the pelics, just like you watch the fand
- 32:25Speaker 1: table with the friends. Please novel the poet to get
- 32:27Speaker 1: to sea official commentators and contributor tonne passing this perying
- 32:30Speaker 1: get a license new company.
- 32:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 32:38Speaker 1: If you happen to miss that disclaimer, listen, I am
- 32:40Speaker 1: one goofball in the room tonight, discussing everything happening in
- 32:42Speaker 1: the world of politics, in the world of news. If
- 32:44Speaker 1: I say something that offends your sorry ass. Sorry, if
- 32:49Speaker 1: I say something that offends you, please direct all of
- 32:51Speaker 1: your complaints not to the recess bell. Listen. I'm a
- 32:53Speaker 1: busy guy. I probably won't get to see it. I
- 32:57Speaker 1: probably won't get to read it. I barely pick up
- 33:00Speaker 1: phone calls nowadays. I don't listen to voicemails. I don't
- 33:03Speaker 1: mean to be that guy that's hard to reach, but
- 33:05Speaker 1: trust me, that's just the way my life is, so
- 33:07Speaker 1: I probably won't see it. If you bitching on my line,
- 33:10Speaker 1: all right, what you really want to do is direct
- 33:12Speaker 1: all of your complaints to this email address w HPC
- 33:17Speaker 1: at NCC dot E d U and our proud station
- 33:21Speaker 1: director will feel all of your complaints on my behalf,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I promise, and you know, maybe we'll read it on air.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Maybe we'll be transparent to you, just like the United
- 33:33Speaker 1: States government is definitely definitely being transparent with us with everything.
- 33:39Speaker 1: But yeah, direct your complaints once again w HPC at
- 33:41Speaker 1: NCC dot e du where he'll see it and I
- 33:44Speaker 1: probably won't. Onwards, your news anchor joshuay Maa. He's South
- 34:04Speaker 1: Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham suddenly passed away earlier this week. Now,
- 34:12Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham, listen, if you're a senator in any regard,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you're gonna have a mixed legacy in terms of the
- 34:18Speaker 1: American people, right, But this Lindsey Graham character, he took
- 34:24Speaker 1: it to another level.
- 34:24Speaker 7: Yo.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Mixed legacy is it doesn't begin to describe how people
- 34:31Speaker 1: in general in this country felt about this man. President
- 34:35Speaker 1: Donald Trump. He described Lindsey Graham as a dear friend
- 34:40Speaker 1: and was pretty broken up about his death. By Trump's standards,
- 34:46Speaker 1: we'll pull that quote up in a moment, but listen,
- 34:50Speaker 1: in the words of or in the name of nepotism,
- 34:53Speaker 1: I should say, you know, friends hiring friends, family hiring family.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Who better then Lindsey Graham's sister to take the reins
- 35:05Speaker 1: of Lindsey Graham's Senate seats. You can't make it up. Man,
- 35:11Speaker 1: can't make it up. Nepotism reigned supreme in this country.
- 35:14Speaker 1: We know that. But yeah, President Trump very very broken
- 35:18Speaker 1: up by Lindsay Graham's sudden death. He went on a
- 35:21Speaker 1: whole eulogy tour on Fox, on various channels. Lindsey Graham again,
- 35:30Speaker 1: dear friend of Trumpey went golfing and all this stuff.
- 35:33Speaker 1: A quote from the President on Lindsay Graham's death quote,
- 35:36Speaker 1: We've had great doctors and they talked about, you know,
- 35:39Speaker 1: a certain part of his body blew up, a certain
- 35:44Speaker 1: part of his body. You know, he has such a
- 35:46Speaker 1: way award as the President. Listen, some are pointing to
- 35:49Speaker 1: kidney failure. I believe I saw a ordas and whatnot.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I'm not a doctor, right, So you're just gonna have
- 35:56Speaker 1: to look that one up while you're at it. While
- 35:58Speaker 1: you're looking up Lindsay Graham cause of death. Go ahead
- 36:01Speaker 1: and look up Lindy Graham. Ladybugs, no, no, I promise
- 36:07Speaker 1: you really want to look that up. You know, I
- 36:09Speaker 1: swear it is nothing crazy like that. It's just something
- 36:13Speaker 1: I really encourage you to look up while you're listening
- 36:16Speaker 1: to TRB tell you about Lindsay Graham's death. Right again,
- 36:21Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham, ladybugs, do it now, all right, Kentucky Senator
- 36:26Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell, his health was in question the past few weeks.
- 36:30Speaker 1: We got an update officially, proof of life. Hallelujah, Praise
- 36:35Speaker 1: the Lord. Mitch McConnell posing with his wife in the
- 36:39Speaker 1: hospital bed and then them is that was definitely not
- 36:42Speaker 1: AI manipulated? No no, no, no, I promise I know AI
- 36:46Speaker 1: is crazy nowadays. Definitely was not AI generated at all.
- 36:52Speaker 1: He just so happened to have that day's newspaper. It's
- 36:56Speaker 1: as if his senator buddies held him at one point
- 37:00Speaker 1: and say, Yo, hold up today's newspaper for proof of life.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Please do it to rest everybody's mind and put everybody
- 37:09Speaker 1: at ease. Right again, This is a audio medium, Mitch McConnell,
- 37:15Speaker 1: Proof of life. Throw it in your Google. You can
- 37:18Speaker 1: be the judge, all right. I just don't know AI
- 37:21Speaker 1: is crazy nowadays. You can do a lot of things
- 37:22Speaker 1: with AI wild. But again, Mitch McConnell, if you believe
- 37:27Speaker 1: the American politic u a sphere if you believe the
- 37:31Speaker 1: what the government is selling you. Mitch McConnell so blessed
- 37:34Speaker 1: that he's alive. Man again, God, God is always on time. Man,
- 37:42Speaker 1: happy to see it. Let's get to this bacteria stuff
- 37:47Speaker 1: I talked about earlier. So yes, I mentioned a dukieademic, right,
- 37:51Speaker 1: there's an apparently lettuce that causes you to have very
- 37:55Speaker 1: explosive bouts with the toilet. That that's what we're that's
- 38:00Speaker 1: that's what we're seeing in the news. It's a parasite
- 38:02Speaker 1: that's causing diarrhea in people. Now to get a direct
- 38:08Speaker 1: report it touched down in California. It causes abdominal pain
- 38:12Speaker 1: and severe diarrhea. And listen, I remember back in COVID times,
- 38:16Speaker 1: everyone was like, oh, we have a COVID case in
- 38:21Speaker 1: a select part of the country, and then it was
- 38:24Speaker 1: another state, and then it was New York. And while
- 38:29Speaker 1: my philosophy on such matters is very polarizing, I was
- 38:34Speaker 1: just like, to prevent just people getting sick and possibly dying,
- 38:42Speaker 1: shoot his ass, No, no, no, for real, like, yo, just
- 38:46Speaker 1: control the issue. It's how that he dies and we
- 38:48Speaker 1: get rid of it. Or two hundred and fifty thousand
- 38:51Speaker 1: people die like we saw with COVID. Now, for those
- 38:54Speaker 1: of a who don't know, While diarrhea is a very
- 38:57Speaker 1: manageable condition nowadays, back in ancient times, you caught diarrhea,
- 39:03Speaker 1: doctors will tell you to count your days and put
- 39:05Speaker 1: your affairs in order. People was dying from this stuff,
- 39:08Speaker 1: and maybe we going back to old times. On Tuesday,
- 39:13Speaker 1: the CDC and Prevention Control announced that the agency had
- 39:16Speaker 1: received reports of one thousand, six hundred and forty five
- 39:20Speaker 1: confirmed domestic cases of cyclosporasis, which is the official medical
- 39:26Speaker 1: name of this parasite, but was aware of over five
- 39:31Speaker 1: thousand more cases that required confirmation now. Other states now
- 39:37Speaker 1: reporting surges of the disease include Illinois, Ohio, Texas, and yes,
- 39:46Speaker 1: now it's New York. So I guess my advice would
- 39:52Speaker 1: be stay away from the salads Chipotle. Maybe the US
- 39:58Speaker 1: government tried to point the thing at Taco Bell, Yes,
- 40:02Speaker 1: they tried. They tried to blame Taco Bell bo. Taco
- 40:06Speaker 1: Bell is now under investigation over this outbreak of this
- 40:09Speaker 1: parasite that causes explosive diarrhea. Right state and federal investigators
- 40:15Speaker 1: are probing the fast food chains possible connection to this parasite.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Signs posted at several Taco Bell locations last week in
- 40:25Speaker 1: Michigan warned customers that the restaurants were a quote currently
- 40:29Speaker 1: unable to sell lettuce, cilantro, onion, pico de gayo, and
- 40:34Speaker 1: guacamole due to a nationwide recall. Man, if you're out
- 40:40Speaker 1: partying late at night and you just happened to be
- 40:43Speaker 1: on your way back and you hit a Taco Bell,
- 40:47Speaker 1: it's a shame now that you got to think twice
- 40:49Speaker 1: about ordering the best wasted at night on the way
- 40:54Speaker 1: home meal in this country. But we definitely don't want
- 40:58Speaker 1: people to suffer from this again explosive uh poopy situation
- 41:06Speaker 1: that's going on. So yes, that is the Recess Belt
- 41:09Speaker 1: News report again. I hope you enjoyed that. But again,
- 41:12Speaker 1: don't don't don't hold me accountable, bro, I just report
- 41:14Speaker 1: the news. I'm just your news anchor. Listen, WHBC hit
- 41:20Speaker 1: them up, not me. I'm not gonna see it. I'm
- 41:21Speaker 1: not gonna bother to see it. Don't bother me and
- 41:24Speaker 1: keep it pushing. I keep it keep a hundred. Once again,
- 41:28Speaker 1: Josh you mahi. We are about the at the end
- 41:30Speaker 1: of our number one of the Recess Belt on air
- 41:32Speaker 1: when we come back. I did promise that interview with
- 41:34Speaker 1: William Person, former Team USA Bob's letter and current CTE activist.
- 41:41Speaker 1: He is opening up centers and he's building foundations on
- 41:44Speaker 1: treating and building awareness for CTE. Again more commonly known
- 41:50Speaker 1: in football players. But take too many knocks to the head,
- 41:53Speaker 1: you could be at risk no matter what you are,
- 41:55Speaker 1: what you do, if you play a sport, if you don't,
- 41:58Speaker 1: micro concussions are a thing and when that brain jiggles
- 42:02Speaker 1: around a little bit too much in that skull, you
- 42:05Speaker 1: are at risk. So we're gonna raise awareness and that
- 42:07Speaker 1: cannot wait to welcome you all to William Person, cannot
- 42:10Speaker 1: wait to welcome William to the platform. That will pretty
- 42:14Speaker 1: much dictate what we do on TRB in our number
- 42:18Speaker 1: two and yes, the Sports Report, MLB All Star World Cup, Wimbledon,
- 42:33Speaker 1: NBA free agency, Lebron James, hurry up, NBA Kawhi Leonard punishment,
- 42:38Speaker 1: hurry it up, Come on now, what's taken so long?
- 42:44Speaker 1: But coming up on a calendar year when we found
- 42:46Speaker 1: out Kawhi Leonard was getting paid twenty eight million dollars
- 42:49Speaker 1: upwards of it to not even plant trees. He was
- 42:52Speaker 1: paid to plant trees apart from his Clippers contract, which
- 42:55Speaker 1: is illegal. Right, didn't even plant trees? What's take us
- 43:00Speaker 1: long to punish? This man? Was taking so long to
- 43:02Speaker 1: punish the Clippers might have to open an investigation my
- 43:06Speaker 1: damn self. But keep it locked once again. Plenty to
- 43:09Speaker 1: come on the Recess Bell on air here on the
- 43:11Speaker 1: voice of Nasau Community College Unty point three w HPC.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Whatnos never the d rimlases were m nes
- 44:06Speaker 2: And never shaped
