  Speaker 1: by taking some time with God. And that's what we

  Speaker 1: do each weekday morning at this time. We open up

  Speaker 1: the Bible with an attitude of prayer, that is with
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: a heart that says God.

  Speaker 1: I know this is your word to me, and you're
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: talking into situations that happened a couple of 1000 years ago,
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: and yet when I read it, I hear your Holy
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: Spirit speaking to me about my life. And so I'm listening.

  Speaker 1: What do you have to say to me today? That's
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: the kind of attitude you need to bring to God
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: when you spend time with Him. Open your Bible. Invite
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: Him to speak to you, and then you respond to
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: what He's saying to you. Make it a relationship.

  Speaker 1: Not just a one way thing.
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: We're talking this week on this beautiful theme that together

  Speaker 1: we are stronger, and you know, from the very beginning
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: when God made mankind in the Garden of Eden, He
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: looked at Adam and he said it is not good
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: for the man to be alone. And so he made
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: a helper for him, a partner in life, and
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: They began the first family, and God made marriage because
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: together we are stronger, and He made families because together
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: we are stronger. And of course, uh, sin came into
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: the world and has greatly damaged and destroyed relationships in
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: general and families, uh, especially and so you may not
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: have come from a together we are stronger kind of
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: family and the marriage that was in.
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: The home you grew up in may not have been
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: like that, but God wants to do that in your life.

  Speaker 1: He wants to bring you together with people who will
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: strengthen you in life, and God is in the business
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: of redeeming us and taking what has been fallen and
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: damaged by sin and rebuilding it, making it what He
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: intended it to be in the very beginning, and He
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: wants to rebuild and restore.
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: Your relationships, and so you need to focus on relationships
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: in your life. Don't just focus on accomplishing things for God. No,
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: focus first on relationships.
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: And then see what God accomplishes through you and those relationships.

  Speaker 1: Think about what there is in your life, who there
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: is that you can partner with, what different groups of
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: people you can become a part of that will.
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: Expand the scope of the impact of your life.

  Speaker 1: Partnering with groups of people, when the church was first
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: formed in the Book of Acts, it says in Acts
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: 2:43 in the Bible.

  Speaker 1: Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe, and many wonders
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: and signs were taking place through the apostles, and all
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: those who had believed were together.
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: And had all things in common. They began selling their
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: property and possessions and were sharing them with all as
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: one might have need, and day by day continuing with
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: one mind in the temple and breaking bread from house
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: to house. They were taking their meals together with gladness
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favour with
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: all the people, and the Lord was adding to their
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: number day by day.
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: Those who were being saved, you see, it was in,
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: in their togetherness that God was being revealed. It was
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: in how they were sharing with one another, and taking
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: care of one another, even when it cost them, even
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: when they had to sell something in order to help
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: someone else out, the gladness and sincerity of their hearts
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: when they were together that gave them favour with all
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: the people. Everyone saw there's something different about this group
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: of people.
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: If you're praying for someone in your life that you
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: really want to introduce to Jesus, the Jesus that has
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: made such a difference to you.
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: Get them together with your other friends who love the
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: Lord as well. Let them see what God is doing
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: in your lives together. Together we are stronger. Together we
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: make a bigger impact. How can you put togetherness with
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: the other people who love the Lord more into your life?
• 4:40
