- 1:41Speaker 1: the toast man here, this guy, mister toasts man, and
- 1:46Speaker 1: I really like this guy. And also these they are
- 1:49Speaker 1: called magic quabs, which I looked them up and they're
- 1:54Speaker 1: they're designed to for kitchen cleaning, like they'll clean up
- 1:58Speaker 1: grease really well and stuff. And then I guess you
- 2:00Speaker 1: can wash them out and are fine.
- 2:02Speaker 2: They're they're made of some kind of husk.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I think, I don't know. Uh, And then let's see

- 2:28Speaker 1: Nick too. Yeah that's me, yeah, big faced Bill. And uh,
- 2:36Speaker 1: let's see what what else of note happened? As usual?
- 2:40Speaker 1: I got to eat one sausage. I don't I don't
- 2:43Speaker 1: have and you just picked it out with your hand.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's so we had. I did it just to shock Gina,
- 2:50Speaker 1: so sweched. So we're over there by the buffet and
- 2:54Speaker 1: we never have time to eat. There's Fina.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It's like a wedding reception, you.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Know, all this time planning your food at your wedding reception.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm telling this is my little warning for you. If
- 3:05Speaker 3: you're planning a wedding right now, you're not gonna eat
- 3:09Speaker 3: whatever that food is you're picking out for your wedding reception,
- 3:12Speaker 3: You're not going to eat.
- 3:13Speaker 2: And it's the same thing when we do.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So Gina said, aren't you going to have anything? And
- 3:17Speaker 1: I said, I don't know. I don't think. Oh wait,
- 3:19Speaker 1: maybe I'll have a sausage. And I just reached into
- 3:22Speaker 1: the with my fingers and picked out a sausage, you know,
- 3:26Speaker 1: one of those big plump sausages, because I knew it
- 3:29Speaker 1: would just there tongs right there, and my fingers served
- 3:33Speaker 1: the same purpose as the togs. I didn't touch any
- 3:36Speaker 1: thing I didn't know. I didn't touch any other sausage.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I just touched the one that I then put into
- 3:43Speaker 1: my mouth. I don't I don't like to put sausages
- 3:47Speaker 1: that other people have touched into my mouth. And let's
- 3:53Speaker 1: see what else. One of the as we were sort
- 3:58Speaker 1: of cleaning up to one of the one of the
- 4:00Speaker 1: servers there at squatters, she came by. She had a
- 4:05Speaker 1: tray that she was picking up glasses and things, and
- 4:08Speaker 1: she sort of stopped and looked at me, and she looked.
- 4:11Speaker 1: She looked at me like I thought, Oh, she's not happy,
- 4:13Speaker 1: she's having to work, and she's and she she stopped
- 4:17Speaker 1: and she looked at me. She went, that was a
- 4:19Speaker 1: really good show.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Oh that was not what her face was telling you.
- 4:24Speaker 1: But then she's then she started to smile as she
- 4:26Speaker 1: said that. And oh, Mark the race car driver was there,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Dave the flower guy own, our friend Sean and his
- 4:34Speaker 1: wife Jade, and Shawn was Larson Hvac and Plumbing. Nice
- 4:38Speaker 1: to see them, everybody. Oh, and then then we also
- 4:42Speaker 1: had uh Dixon, Jeff Jeff Dixon from California.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he's our.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Our friend who lost his home, which sounds like they
- 4:54Speaker 3: are not getting help. But the Pacific Palisades fiery lost
- 4:58Speaker 3: his home, and then the Dini fire and that they
- 5:02Speaker 3: are not getting like he said. We talked to him
- 5:05Speaker 3: for a bit and you can go listen to the
- 5:06Speaker 3: podcast Katie's Getting It All posted today, I think. But
- 5:11Speaker 3: you know, there are so many tragedies, people's attentions are diverted.
- 5:16Speaker 2: At the time, that was all anybody thought about it.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It's hard to but.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Now people have moved on, but they're still struggling there
- 5:23Speaker 3: with trying to get help with.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Jeff came. His daughters have been going to the University
- 5:28Speaker 1: of Utah. Jeff graduated from the U. But he's been
- 5:31Speaker 1: in Hollywood for several years trying to make it as
- 5:35Speaker 1: a screenwriter and and he has done pretty well for himself.
- 5:39Speaker 2: He was nominated for an Emmy and he.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Told us, and I won't reveal what it is, but
- 5:47Speaker 1: what he told everybody was he's going to be back
- 5:50Speaker 1: in Utah working on a horror film that will be
- 5:54Speaker 1: filmed here in Utah, and he will be with the production.
- 5:58Speaker 2: He seemed excited about.
- 6:00Speaker 3: He didn't even tell us off the air who the
- 6:02Speaker 3: cast was, but he was like, oh, and that's got
- 6:04Speaker 3: a good cast.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I said, if it goes through, it's going to be cool.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, he told us, told us the title and where
- 6:09Speaker 1: it's going to be filmed, but we can't say. Uh.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And he's producing it, is he also directing it? I
- 6:16Speaker 1: know he wrote the screenplay. He wrote the screenplay. I
- 6:18Speaker 1: don't know if he's directing it anyway. So uh, But
- 6:22Speaker 1: just a great time. And whenever we do these things,
- 6:26Speaker 1: it's it's just always remarkable people. I mean, we got
- 6:31Speaker 1: there and people are in this long line in the
- 6:33Speaker 1: cold waiting.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I feel bad about that.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I don't. I was warm you. Why would you say
- 6:40Speaker 1: that because I was? I was perfect.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Yeah, in my car, I dropped you off the door
- 6:46Speaker 3: and then I went and parked and had to walk
- 6:47Speaker 3: two blocks to get there.
- 6:49Speaker 1: They didn't. I mean, they didn't have to come that
- 6:52Speaker 1: early and stand in line.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And we told them.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Too, we said, and they needed it because to get
- 6:57Speaker 3: a good seat.
- 6:57Speaker 1: We said the door opens at ten o'clock, so you
- 7:00Speaker 1: could have come at ten o'clock. But they were there
- 7:03Speaker 1: in line. That was their choice. I don't feel bad
- 7:06Speaker 1: about it because it was their choice to do it.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I just appreciate that anybody shows up ever to anything.
- 7:11Speaker 2: You know what I don't like to do.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Show up to. He could always count on Gina to
- 7:16Speaker 1: not show up for something I don't like showing up.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I too appreciate that they did it. I don't feel
- 7:22Speaker 1: bad about it because they had the choice to not
- 7:24Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, I think I'm going to get drunk
- 7:27Speaker 1: while I listened to it. Sure, and nobody seemed to
- 7:31Speaker 1: get really drunk either. I only had one drink.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I don't know how you got through it, but I
- 7:36Speaker 2: didn't have any.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Nick. Last year, Nick kept bringing me drinks, and this
- 7:42Speaker 1: year he brought me one.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Maybe he was told not to get him one bloodberry.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And you remember what happened last year. To be honest,
- 7:49Speaker 1: the bartenders looked very busy. Yeah, probably they were sure
- 7:52Speaker 1: that was cranking them out of town.
