- 1:05for all our shows is go to our website at
- 1:07www.worldwidesportsradio.com. How are you Speedy?
- 1:14Are you feeling good? I don't know.
- 1:16Based on what I tried to deal with on the break, I don't not.
- 1:18Really. Were you enjoying us?
- 1:19I mean. I don't, I don't need to claim
- 1:22it as enjoyment. I it was much, it was much more
- 1:24fun. It was much more fun when we
- 1:26were we were talking about Carl playing with himself.
- 1:29No, Tommy enjoyed it. Tommy, I thought you thought
- 1:31that was funny. I thought it was pretty funny.
- 1:35Like you said, I think the best way to describe it because I
- 1:38don't think I can put it better in my words.
- 1:40The best way to describe it is just get a camera recording at
- 1:43all times what happens in the breaks and then the people can
- 1:47see like exactly what it is that goes on.
- 1:49I think I get myself in a lot of trouble.
- 1:51Oh, you definitely will. I would get myself in a lot of
- 1:53trouble. Maybe, maybe, maybe some sort of
- 1:55like. I don't know if we'll have to.
- 1:57Fines. Yeah, maybe some sort of fines
- 1:59or whatnot, but we're going to have to maybe edit it.
- 2:01It'll probably be a lot of editing, a lot of censoring,
- 2:04just so like some people can get the idea of the questions or the
- 2:08stuff that goes on. Well, I get a little lost.
- 2:10I get a little bored during the break because, you know, Fish
- 2:13gives you your, his spiel on the sports minute and I need to
- 2:16like, get up and stretch my legs.
- 2:19You know, you're speaking a lot. You're doing 3 1/2 hours,
- 2:21sometimes 4 hours. And you, you got to, you got to
- 2:24rubble in the Bronx. And Speedy.
- 2:26There's just something about Speedy that just gets me, you
- 2:29know, aroused. You know, it gets me aroused.
- 2:32That's the word you would. Use for all right?
- 2:33It got me aroused, I mean. At least we got Johnny now.
- 2:36Speedy, did it get you aroused, Johnny?
- 2:39Do you get aroused? Do you get aroused when you look
- 2:41at Speedy? Come on.
- 2:43No, I don't know what y'all. So I'm I hopped in the wrong the
- 2:45wrong part of the conversation? You, you, you came in to save
- 2:49the conversation Did. You go.
- 2:51Did you wash your hands? Yeah.
- 2:52Did you wash your hands? No, you're not.
- 2:55We're not speaking to your grandfather, OK?
- 2:58Not this night. We we got a couple plays today.
- 3:02Spreads are kind of coming up quick with with.
- 3:06Daddy, Daddy, you got to go back.
- 3:13Real quick, we're going to we're going to take a Drake tomorrow
- 3:17against Belmont. I think.
- 3:19I think Drake, it's a team that's playing a tournament.
- 3:21It's played today back-to-back games, maybe find a little
- 3:24rhythm. They were underdogs today, won
- 3:26the game outright. I do think they can compete
- 3:28tomorrow. They probably don't beat
- 3:29Belmont, but I do think that they can compete in tomorrow's
- 3:32game. I'm also going to take
- 3:33Bellarmine. Bellarmine coming in also
- 3:35another W and their tournament, their plus 5.5 against Central
- 3:39Arkansas. I think they keep that game
- 3:41really close. So I'm going to take Bellamine
- 3:44and I got a couple games tonight.
- 3:46We're going to take UC Davis. It starts in about 15 minutes or
- 3:50so. They're -4 1/2.
- 3:52Take them on the money line at -125 -, 4 1/2 -, 110.
- 3:55Kind of depends on what y'all think.
- 3:57Much better team offensively and defensively with the better
- 4:00metrics catching a ton of value. The other game just started
- 4:04about 15 minutes ago. I do, I'm going to give it out,
- 4:06give it out live. I think CSUN runs away with this
- 4:10game minus and a half. Take him up to -12 if you get
- 4:13anything in that live action, they're a way better team.
- 4:16Bakersfield is also going through some turmoil.
- 4:19Their coaches got arrested for pimping out girls.
- 4:22They they got a they got a bunch of other stuff going on at that
- 4:25school. So they're not really worried
- 4:26about basketball. I just don't know how motivated
- 4:28they are. They're an 8 win team catching
- 4:30in half. I think they get blown out
- 4:32tonight on their home court. Wow, that was pretty quick man.
- 4:37I had to be quick today. I'm I'm on bed, bed and bath
- 4:40duty tonight and he's, he's kind of a tornado.
- 4:44You don't really get a whole lot of time with him.
- 4:46Daddy, could you bite my ass, Daddy.
- 4:51That's what it is. So we're, we're, we're in the
- 4:54thick of it here. That's that's well, you're
- 4:56definitely in the thick of that. But I I, you know, that's the
- 4:59one thing that I'm scared when I when I become a dad, I got a
- 5:02wipe ass. That's not my thing.
- 5:04We he's almost there, though. He's almost on his own.
- 5:06It's been three years. He's almost on his own.
- 5:08He's probably trained just just the white bin isn't isn't there
- 5:12yet, but he's almost there. All right, a speedy of West's
- 5:15picks. No he didn't text them.
- 5:17I don't know if he was sending them or not all.
- 5:19Right. So old Wesley is Old West out
- 5:22tonight? I don't know what's going on
- 5:23with Wesley, the Old West man. You know, maybe he's wiping ass
- 5:28right now as we speak. There we go.
- 5:30But I'll see y'all next. Maybe this weekend for the pigs,
- 5:34yeah. For.
- 5:35Sure. Yes, my friend.
- 5:37Thank you for joining us. I know you're a busy guy and you
- 5:38get your hands deep into crap, if you know what I mean.
- 5:41Yeah, that's what it is. I'll talk to y'all later.
- 5:44Rado Johnny, ladies and gentlemen.
- 5:45Hands in his pants. No, I'm just kidding.
- 5:48Hands in his kids pants. Because he's got to wipe ass.
- 5:50Got to wipe ass. I mean, seriously, Speedy, if
- 5:53somebody needed to wipe your ass, I'd I'd be the guy.
- 5:56I'd have to. Clean.
- 5:57Who would you possibly? Volunteer for that.
- 5:58I would have to clean your ass. Is that supposed to be us during
- 6:01the break? I guess so.
- 6:03I mean, I'm the one that's probably sitting there, but I'm,
- 6:06I'm, I don't know. And Speedy's dancing.
- 6:07I guess that's him censoring. Him.
- 6:08No, you're dancing. That's your hat.
- 6:10Oh, there it is. Oh, OK, I mean I.
- 6:15Said you're the one doing wild stuff.
- 6:17Well, I, I don't know about dancing like that.
- 6:19I'll be doing everything it looks like I'm doing like the
- 6:21like the, the thriller over there or something.
- 6:23I don't know. I think you were in the middle
- 6:25of a getting jiggy with it to be honest with you.
- 6:27I would be doing more of the MC Hammer dance, so you know, like,
- 6:31you know. I used to do that to distract
- 6:34people. Speedy, you know that song.
- 6:41Hammer time at the parachute. I know, I know, Hammer Time.
- 6:43I didn't know the instrumental a part of it though.
- 6:45Well, and it's not it's him going oh, him and his guys.
- 6:48You know, you like too legit to quit.
- 6:51You like that? I've heard it before.
- 6:52Too legit, too quick. Hey, Speedy, do you like you
- 6:55like hay? Sure.
- 6:57Have you ever eaten hay before? No.
- 7:00You've never eaten hay before. No.
- 7:01Why not? Have you ever tried it?
- 7:03No. You like wheat, right?
- 7:05Sure. All right, so there you go.
- 7:07I mean, I'm trying to help you here, Speedy.
- 7:09You know what it is, Speedy? You kind of like hide behind the
- 7:12camera. You're like lost.
- 7:15I I need to figure you out here. You're like a like you're,
- 7:18you're like an onion that just makes my eyes water.
- 7:21We were talking about purple thongs.
- 7:23OK, That's what we were talking about to bring it up.
- 7:25We were talking. I asked him.
- 7:26I said, if you saw somebody with a pink or purple thong, which
- 7:30what, which way, which way would you go?
- 7:32And I he told me I got it. I had to get it out of him.
- 7:35And he said purple. And I said, well, why would you
- 7:38pick purple is, I don't know, I don't know, just purple.
- 7:41So that's speedy color. Royalty, it's very smart.
- 7:45Well, you know, he he likes the purple color and his you see
- 7:49what happens is his feet like twirl up when you get him angry
- 7:53or you get him like weirded out his his face just like it
- 7:58squeezes like an onion. It's got it looks like he has an
- 8:01onion in his mouth and it just tastes bad or it's like a bad
- 8:03taste in his mouth and his feet curl up like like like lopsided
- 8:07like this and go like dangles and dangles, you know, like one
- 8:12of those. Anyways, we call this the
- 8:15concrete jungle carousel. Welcome to the jungle.
- 8:20We got fun and games. You know where you are in.
- 8:24The. Jungle Baby.
- 8:25Welcome, I'm trying to put Tiger Bomb on this jungle's nuts to
- 8:29the concrete jungle carousel you got to.
- 8:38Die you like that, Speedy? I'll prefer Axel Rose, but OK.
- 8:45You didn't like that, I thought. That wasn't bad.
- 8:47It wasn't bad. That was a pretty good Axel Rose
- 8:50tag right there. I mean, seriously, I'm not Ozzy
- 8:52Osbourne. No.
- 8:54You want me to bite a No. You're gonna bite a spider?
- 8:57No, it's a bite. It's a bat.
- 8:58Or a bat? Yes, it's a bat.
- 9:00Yeah, right. I would hope you don't advocate
- 9:03for doing that to try to get rabies.
- 9:06Axel was great, but I mean, Slash was everything in that
- 9:09band. I'm just gonna throw that out
- 9:10there. Let's get into the concrete
- 9:13jungle carousel. If you're new to this segment,
- 9:16we're going to go around sports in the tri-state area, 1 sport
- 9:20at a time, going through the local teams.
- 9:22What's been new with them, things we haven't talked about
- 9:25about them. If it's already been covered
- 9:27tonight, for example, we're not talk about Breeze all getting
- 9:29tagged again when we get to The Jets.
- 9:31So let's start off with that Knicks game we mentioned a
- 9:33little bit with Chris Childs. He seemed to think SGA was
- 9:37getting some unfair calls. So did Mike Brown, Knicks coach
- 9:41kind of mentioned it? Kind of.
- 9:43So I wouldn't say it was a direct shot at SGA.
- 9:46He was just saying he's really good at getting those calls.
- 9:50He got tech, got teed up, thought he should have got a
- 9:54foul, should have been a third fouler in the game, should have
- 9:56been in foul trouble. Jalen Brunson leads the league
- 9:59in charges taken. While he may have some other
- 10:02deficiencies defensively, he certainly isn't lacking for
- 10:06effort on that side of the ball. Look, they lost the game by
- 10:09three. They had beaten Toronto in
- 10:12Toronto the night before, then had to fly home, home and home
- 10:14to then face the league leading defending champion Thunder and
- 10:20lost by three. They had two open looks, one by
- 10:23Brunson, one by OG at the end of the game.
- 10:25Just wasn't a good shooting night.
- 10:27Kind of dead legs still almost beat them.
- 10:30I will say this, Shay gets a lot of calls, but getting the calls
- 10:34in Madison Square Garden, it makes you shake your head.
- 10:36You have homecourt advantage. You always get the calls.
- 10:38The home team always gets the calls.
- 10:40But it was nice to watch. The Knicks came back.
- 10:44You heard it from Chris Childs. They were they scored 40 points
- 10:47in the first half and then in in the third quarter, they got 40
- 10:50points. They got back into the game, but
- 10:51they were trailing all game long playing catch up.
- 10:54And that's the problem. You cannot play catch up with OK
- 10:56C OK C has a great talented team.
- 10:59You have great rebounders like Dort and and and they've got,
- 11:03you know, closers and Shay is is one of the best offensive
- 11:06players in the league just as well as a guy like Jalen
- 11:09Bronson, just not enough. And I do I do agree with Mike
- 11:12Brown. He's not going to say it the way
- 11:15you should say it, but he says it as a professional, but as a
- 11:18coach and anybody that was watching a game.
- 11:20Shay Alexander gets a lot of calls, a lot of calls.
- 11:23And he thinks that, you know, being that you're the home team,
- 11:25you should get more calls because is Jalen Brunson going
- 11:28to get the calls when they play in OK C No, he's not.
- 11:30Shay's going to get the calls because he's the home player.
- 11:33So that's the problem. It happens with a lot of Nick's.
- 11:35Carmelo Anthony for years was complaining about it and and a
- 11:38lot of the referees don't like him and didn't like him.
- 11:42So whenever Carmelo would go up for a layup and he gets SWAT,
- 11:44he'd be screaming and he and, and he'd get a technical foul.
- 11:48The Knicks have always been known to be complainers.
- 11:50And sometimes you got to take a step back and let the the
- 11:53referees kind of fall or even like you enough that you're
- 11:59you're going to get the calls when you need them.
- 12:00So it they just didn't get the calls and I think their legs
- 12:02were tired, I think. More of the calls, the issues
- 12:05with the calls were the ones that they didn't call on Bronson
- 12:07and the tacky ones because SGA as much as he gets the calls,
- 12:10like volume wise, I don't think he gets the same kind of tacky
- 12:12ones as you've seen like James Harden and Kyrie Irving, guys
- 12:15like that get. I think it was just the ones
- 12:16that weren't called on Brunts in the same way.
- 12:19I thought the two of the two challenges at the in the fourth
- 12:21quarter, one of them was right, one of them was wrong.
- 12:23But yeah, there was definitely some really questionable ones
- 12:25that favored the Thunder towards the end of that game, but I'm
- 12:27not going to say it was the. Only reason I will also say
- 12:28this, Karl Anthony Towns had a very good board day.
- 12:31He had 17 rebounds. He needs to play like that.
- 12:34He needs to play hard like that against the good teams because
- 12:36that shows that his capabilities could really transition for a
- 12:40championship team. He needs to play like that week
- 12:42in and week out. He has played very well since
- 12:45the Jalen Brunson, you know, I guess players, the players
- 12:50meeting and he's averaged 20 and 10 and he he's played very well.
- 12:54So I want to see it more consistently and and I want to
- 12:56see it in the playoffs when it and when the going gets tough
- 12:58so. Yeah, there was interesting That
- 13:01happened late in the game. Two guys fouled out, Dort fouled
- 13:05out and then Towns fouled out and they had to play the last
- 13:11few minutes without Towns and they came back because they did
- 13:14what we talked about on Monday's show.
- 13:16They put Josh Hart at center and had him do the Draymond Green
- 13:22thing in the small ball lineup, and he just did the Josh Hart
- 13:25thing where he just pushed the play.
- 13:27He was everywhere. He took two possessions and they
- 13:30were down like they were the game was about to be over and he
- 13:33brought it back to becoming, you know, to A2 possession game.
- 13:36And eventually, you know, Brunson made it closer and they
- 13:39almost had it. You know, they almost did.
- 13:41Really impressive. The only thing to say about the
- 13:43Nets is they just lost the home and home against the Heat.
- 13:46They suck. Michael Porter, junior put up 27
- 13:49and 13 tonight on 18 three-point shots.
- 13:53He was 7 of 18. He's just chucking it.
- 13:56Good stats, bad team right now he's going to make.
- 14:00He'll be, he'll be playing on a new team in a new roster next
- 14:03year. I don't know about a lot of
- 14:05money, but he's going to make money.
- 14:06And I, I think he's a #3 on any other team, but on the Nets,
- 14:10you're a #1. Yeah, pretty much.
- 14:12Speedy, You got anything on the the Nets that anyone should care
- 14:15about? Not, not, not really.
- 14:17Harold pretty much nailed it. Porter's going to be a selfie.
- 14:20He's great when he's healthy. I, I think it says it all.
- 14:23If Speedy can't find a compliment for you, we're going
- 14:26to move on to baseball offseason, just the in
- 14:29preseason. Let's get into it, starting off
- 14:34with your New York Yankees. Errol, this is your favorite
- 14:38prospect in baseball. His name is Spencer Jones.
- 14:40He plays for minor leagues for the Yankees.
- 14:43Last bunch of years he's now Fielder.
- 14:45He's a left-handed sized Aaron Judge, maybe a little more
- 14:49athletic. Has issues with strikeouts.
- 14:53He's crushing it in the spring so far, hitting over 300 with a
- 14:581200 slugging. Basically he's got 3 homers.
- 15:02He adjusted his swing according to the Athletics.
- 15:05Brendan Cuddy by looking at Shohei Otani as his toe down
- 15:11swing. You know, like a Judge has the
- 15:13opposite swing. Otani has the you point the toe
- 15:16down and it does something for your timing.
- 15:19He's watching Otani, he's getting better.
- 15:23Ironic that he's watching the nemesis of Judge in those
- 15:26debates we improve himself to then maybe play next as judge
- 15:31for the remainder of Judges career.
- 15:32I told you guys I don't have to. I don't have to repeat myself
- 15:35over and over and over again. And I told you, Fish, that he'll
- 15:38figure it out. He'll change his stance and and
- 15:42he's going to be a great player in this league.
- 15:43He could play multiple position. He's very athletic.
- 15:46He's got a great power swing. It's going to fit in Yankee
- 15:49Stadium like a glove. I don't care what Brian Cashman
- 15:52says. I don't care what anybody says.
- 15:54This guy is going to be a part of this roster for the future.
- 15:58They're not trading him. He was untouchable 2 years ago
- 16:01when everybody was saying, oh, why don't they trade Spencer
- 16:03Jones? I said, and I'll say it again,
- 16:05the Yankees trade this kid. They're making the biggest
- 16:07mistakes of their lives. This guy is the next big thing.
- 16:11Yankees and their organization, everybody thought it was Volpe
- 16:14and Lombard Lombardi. They're saying how great he is
- 16:17and he looks good too. He's not Spencer Jones.
- 16:20He's a game changing player. He is going to give you 35 to 40
- 16:25home runs. He's going to give you 100 Rpis.
- 16:27And like I said, if you look at Aaron Judges numbers in the
- 16:31minors and you compare them to Spencer Jones, they're almost
- 16:35identical, identical. And and one's a righty and one's
- 16:39a lefty. I'm telling you slam dunk.
- 16:41Watch this kid. You can bank it.
- 16:44Superstar player for the New York.
- 16:45Yankees A lot of times when you see players with a high
- 16:47strikeout rate is usually because of a leader, a longer
- 16:49swing or a bat speed that isn't there, which I don't think was
- 16:51the issue with Jones. And in the statements I was
- 16:54giving you Fish, Aaron Judge was mentioning it too.
- 16:56A lot of times he missed on the up and in fastballs and like a
- 16:59lot of the times you wouldn't see strikeout guys struggle.
- 17:02They usually struggle with all speed stuff or breaking stuff,
- 17:04stuff like that. So I think that definitely it's
- 17:06going to be a good approach for him and get the quicker leg
- 17:08speed, get the quicker just overall approach like Otani's
- 17:11doing. I think it's.
- 17:12Definitely he should make this roster.
- 17:13He should absolutely make this. Roster way he's playing, there's
- 17:16no reason for him not so. He should be on this roster this
- 17:19year. With his talent, you would think
- 17:21that it's just a matter of getting the swing to a point
- 17:24where he gets to a passable strikeout rate and then he's
- 17:27just going to come on up and he's going to be really good.
- 17:29Judge the guy that I would. There's a top in the league and
- 17:32I think he's just a super sized version of him on the Tigers.
- 17:35Riley Green is a big strikeout guy.
- 17:38He strikeouts. He struck out last year like 30
- 17:401/2 percent. He's another one that his swing
- 17:42isn't super long either. No.
- 17:44And that's I think the point, right?
- 17:46Like you got for a guy that naturally isn't a good contact
- 17:49guy, shorten the swing as much as you can to keep as much power
- 17:52as you can. If he's a big strong guy
- 17:54already, he might as well shorten that swing and do
- 17:57something until he quicken his timing.
- 17:59I hope it works because I God knows we need something like
- 18:02that in the lineup this year as a shot in the arm because they
- 18:05didn't go get nobody in the offseason.
- 18:07I don't think they, they're going to need anybody.
- 18:09I, I always thought I was very high on this kid and I'm, I'm
- 18:12still high on this kid. Speedy.
- 18:14I remember when he was drafted, I told Speedy, this kid is going
- 18:17to be special. I've been saying it a long time.
- 18:19And I'll, I told you when we went back and forth and you told
- 18:21me, well, Aaron George was that he struck out 3028% or 2828%
- 18:27five and he was 303033. I was like, it's not a big deal.
- 18:32And I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 18:33When Aaron Judge came into the league, he had a strikeout
- 18:35problem and now he's one of the best hitters in baseball.
- 18:38I'm not saying that that's what Spencer Jones is going to be,
- 18:40but I'm going to tell you this right now, he's a lot better
- 18:43than everybody thinks he is. The the Yankees are not trading
- 18:46this kid. I don't care what anybody is
- 18:49saying. This guy is a part of this
- 18:50team's future. Yeah, so the Mets decided this
- 18:55offseason to replace Pete Alonzo with apparently the mixture of
- 19:01Jorge Polanco, who's never played first base, and Brett
- 19:06Beatty, who's new, who I guess played some first base.
- 19:10And it looks like Beatty is the guy that's going to get the
- 19:13first crack at it. He's getting the most reps at it
- 19:16right now. They don't want to take Beatty's
- 19:18bat out of the line up. Obviously, he had a better
- 19:22season offensively than he's had in his career last year.
- 19:25He's starting to come around over there.
- 19:27But I mean, just just a crazy solution to that problem that
- 19:33they had was to let Alonzo walk and not really figure it out
- 19:36like this. I I don't understand it.
- 19:39I don't understand anything that's going on with the New
- 19:41York Mets with these transitional players, OK, you're
- 19:44going to play here even though you've never played here before
- 19:47and you're going to play there because, oh, you never played
- 19:49there. And it's going to make a lot of
- 19:50sense because I'm, I'm David Stearns and I'm a smart guy.
- 19:54I I know more than everybody else does.
- 19:57It doesn't work this way. It's not that easy.
- 20:00I remember does anybody remember Moneyball?
- 20:02And I forget who it was. And he said that you're.
- 20:05Going to be Ron Washington, the character guy who played Ron
- 20:07Washington. And, and who were they speaking
- 20:10to? I forget his name and you're
- 20:11going to play. First, Scott Hatteberg.
- 20:13Yeah, and he said, he said to Scott Hattenberg when he was
- 20:16sitting with his family, he's like, you're going to we're
- 20:18going to bring you in and you're going to play first.
- 20:20But I never played first base in my life.
- 20:22Oh, it's, it's easy. It's easy.
- 20:23And he says, right, It's easy. It says extremely hard.
- 20:27You, you don't put somebody at that position and think that
- 20:31it's just going to all work. It's all going to flow when
- 20:34you've never done it before. It it's, it's you're playing in
- 20:36the professional baseball, MLB, the best league in in all of the
- 20:41world for baseball, and you're going to just go out there and
- 20:44play first base and you're going to catch on.
- 20:47The Mets are stupid. This is a dumb organization.
- 20:49They Got Talent. They're a dumb old organization.
- 20:52They remind me of The Jets. I mean, an organization likes to
- 20:55try to put players in position to make it work and it doesn't
- 20:58work that way. Keep them in their natural
- 21:00position. Ask Quinton Coppols.
- 21:02You moved him in the wrong position and it ruined his
- 21:04career. Let him be naturally set to
- 21:07where he is comfortable playing and that's when you win.
- 21:10Yeah, Beatty was the one that definitely got hurt the hardest
- 21:13because of the offseason acquisitions.
- 21:15You Debashat, you try to get him to play third and it's next
- 21:19position is second. After that, you trade for Simeon
- 21:21in order to deal Nimmo. So you want to be able to get
- 21:23his bat in his lineup. And Fish, I was telling you
- 21:25before, he definitely deserves it because he was the most
- 21:27consistent of their young players last year when a lot of
- 21:29them were kind of up and down with their offense throughout
- 21:31the year. And I think he deserves this
- 21:33chance, whether it is first, whether it's right field.
- 21:35They've tried him in a few times to try to move Soda to left, so
- 21:38maybe there's an option there. But I think he's definitely of
- 21:40these younger players deserving of it.
- 21:42Will this defensive formula work?
- 21:44That's to be determined. There's a lot of moving parts, a
- 21:46lot of mixed bags and probably a lot of creative shifting we're
- 21:49going to have to see this year to make this defense work, and
- 21:51the pitchers are going to have to cater to it as well.
- 21:53All right, let's move on from actually there's one quick other
- 21:58thing. You know, Nolan Mclean's with
- 22:00Team USC USA in the, the WBC, he has Vertigo and they he, he,
- 22:08they think he's still going to pitch, but in.
- 22:10The final game, it's a little. Sketchy in the final Sketchy.
- 22:14They're saying they're. So we'll see what happens.
- 22:16They're saying that he'll if he pitches, he pitches the final
- 22:18game, the championship game. That's what they're saying.
- 22:21All right. And we'll keep an eye on that,
- 22:23obviously. That's a diagnosis if you've
- 22:25ever. Had it?
- 22:26Yeah. You ever had that one, Speedy?
- 22:28I have. Vertigo.
- 22:29No, I have Vertigo. Yeah, I've had it on the show in
- 22:33the past. I've had it on the show, I told
- 22:35you, like I'm dizzy and I'm. I'm trying to.
- 22:37You can't read anything. You're trying to read it and
- 22:40trying to concentrate. It's very hard to concentrate on
- 22:42anything and you get headaches. It's the worst feeling.
- 22:46If not, there was AU two song back in the day called Vertigo
- 22:49and it gave you headaches. Johnny, listen that.
- 22:50Was like one of their newer songs.
- 22:53Yeah, listen, one of my favorites, the Giants cut Bobby
- 22:56O Karaoke. He's the only Giant in team
- 23:00history that's has two seasons of 140 tackles or more.
- 23:06That's surprising considering all the great linebackers the
- 23:09Giants have had. They don't have been on teams
- 23:11this bad where they were on the field a ton.
- 23:13I think it says a lot that this guy had to constantly clean up
- 23:17the messes. It wasn't really like he was
- 23:20doing anything all that special to work, be worth all the money
- 23:22that he's getting paid when it doesn't matter.
- 23:25They lost, so they're cutting him.
- 23:27The Giants are moving on from Bobby O'kerricky, clearing up $9
- 23:32million of cap space. Who are they going to spend it
- 23:34on, Errol? A couple of names that are out
- 23:37there. It's, well, it's not.
- 23:39They don't have enough money for a real corner.
- 23:41I don't think they're going to be able to do that this
- 23:43offseason. They're probably going to go
- 23:44there in the draft if they do. Some of the things that we keep
- 23:47hearing about them trying to trade down.
- 23:50But the guy that the the interesting name, everyone is
- 23:53interested in what's going on with Mike Evans.
- 23:56Everyone wants that guy to be opposite their receiver, to be a
- 24:00red zone threat, to be a leader. And I think there's some real
- 24:05validity now that you have a guy like John Harbaugh there, that
- 24:08Evans may actually leave Tampa for a guy like it could be this
- 24:13situation that works for him. He's not going to the Giants.
- 24:16The Giants aren't winning anything.
- 24:18Mike Evans wants to win a championship.
- 24:20He's going to go to an organization, has a chance to
- 24:22win this year, maybe a Green Bay Packer team that's looking for a
- 24:26guy that's going to go up there and give you that red zone
- 24:28target and guarantees you he's going to go.
- 24:31Minnesota playing with Jefferson, giving you another
- 24:34weapon beside him. He's going to go to a team that
- 24:37almost guarantees him. How about the Philadelphia
- 24:40Eagles getting a player like that because Brown's not going
- 24:42to be there next year. So I know that's what you Giant
- 24:46fans want to believe and you want to, you know, I understand
- 24:48it. It's not happening.
- 24:50He's not going to pick the Giants out of all the teams he's
- 24:53going to be able to select from. The Giants aren't winning
- 24:55anything this year. I hate to tell you guys, you'll
- 24:58be lucky. The Giants will be lucky to win
- 25:00seven games this year. I don't know where you Giant
- 25:02fans think that you're going to win these games.
- 25:04You have a hard schedule. It's set up bad for you.
- 25:07You have a a better, you're going to have a good
- 25:09Philadelphia team this year. You're going to have a good
- 25:11Washington team that's going to have the quarterback back in
- 25:13healthy. And guess what, ladies and
- 25:15gentlemen? You can have a better Cowboy
- 25:17team. So where do you think you're
- 25:18going to get your wins? I'm sorry, Mike Evans is not
- 25:21going to the Giants. You can book it.
- 25:23I promise you guys he's not going to the Giants. $9 million
- 25:26they're trying to save to obviously go for the key
- 25:28position I mentioned. Yeah, they're probably going to
- 25:30target a corner. Will they be able to get one is
- 25:32another question because obviously they already paid a
- 25:34lot in their secondary last year.
- 25:36Is that going to be the move? Receiver Mike Evans, again,
- 25:38maybe at the right price you would consider, but he's had two
- 25:41injury, probably injury riddled years in a row.
- 25:43Are you going to want to take that chance with the unknown of
- 25:45Malik neighbors? Is another question.
- 25:46There are so many teams going to be lining up for a veteran wide
- 25:50receiver that's going to help them win.
- 25:52He's going to want to go to a team that's going to help them
- 25:54win a championship. How about this?
- 25:55How about the Baltimore Ravens? How about that?
- 25:58Hall of Fame wide receiver, not just a veteran.
- 26:01This guy's going to Hall of. Fame.
- 26:02Yeah, I know what he is. He's a Brandon.
- 26:04Marshall, like everyone wants him.
- 26:06He's a Brandon Marshall type of guy.
- 26:07That's what he. You know, the other name that
- 26:09that's being floated about with the Giants that I understand
- 26:12even less is Kenneth Walker. The third.
- 26:14I heard that they're saying that he's the favorite, that the
- 26:18Giants are the favorites. For some reason.
- 26:20I don't know who's making these odds to get Kenneth Walker the
- 26:23third. I can't understand that
- 26:24considering Tracy is a pretty like overqualified backup.
- 26:30Scatabo. Your Suman's coming back this
- 26:32year. Maybe they'll flip the role
- 26:34where Scatabo is more like the this change of pace 10 carry guy
- 26:38for Tracy. But I don't think you need to go
- 26:40get a top running back and pay him 10 million or what is he
- 26:43going to get 1213 million speedy?
- 26:45Yeah, I would rather spend that money on replacing Aluminor.
- 26:47If you're going to do that, get the offensive line bolstered
- 26:50again because there's also belief they could possibly move
- 26:52on from Runyon as well and maybe they're trying to get younger
- 26:56there. I I would rather spend on that
- 26:58than I would have another running back or I gotta get help
- 27:00on. That and I don't trust anything
- 27:01anybody says, especially odds, because they have Ty Simpson
- 27:05going to The Jets. There's no way The Jets are
- 27:07drafting Ty Simpson. It's interesting you mentioned
- 27:10that because let's talk about The Jets and what they're going
- 27:12to do a quarterback. Well, you know, we already
- 27:14talked about Bruce Hall earlier tonight, but there's a few
- 27:17quarterbacks that are going to be available.
- 27:20And I want to throw some names out of you.
- 27:22One's an old friend, his name's Geno Smith.
- 27:23No, Geno Smith is going to be available.
- 27:27Obviously, his best days were after he left New York.
- 27:30His best days are clearly behind him right now.
- 27:32Jacoby Brusett might be available as well.
- 27:36Had a pretty strong season, although they didn't really win
- 27:39in relief for this other guy who is been floated about, Kyler
- 27:43Murray, Call of Duty, Kyle himself, Kyler, he is going to
- 27:49be available and the other name is Tua Tagovailoa, who is likely
- 27:55to be someone the Dolphins are going to have to move on from.
- 27:59Brissett Interesting. Kyla Murray's not going to The
- 28:02Jets. I'll be very surprised if The
- 28:04Jets pulled the trigger there. Aaron Glenn wants to keep this
- 28:07locker room together. There was Phillips came out
- 28:10recently at the Super Bowl and he interviewed a lot of with a
- 28:14lot of people, including Jake Asman and he said straight up,
- 28:19straight up that the locker room was cancerous and that's why
- 28:23they made these moves. Quinton Williams and all that
- 28:25other guys, I'm telling you right now, they're not bringing
- 28:28Kyla Murray in. If if Aaron Glenn believes that
- 28:31he's going to have a job at the end of this year, there's no
- 28:34way. Kirk Cousins is another name I
- 28:36heard and I do believe Kirk Cousins is going to be dropped
- 28:40by Atlanta, right when free agency opens up, he'll be
- 28:44available. I think Kirk Cousins makes a lot
- 28:46of sense. I, I think that's where The Jets
- 28:48go if he becomes available. If not him, Breset Murray, no
- 28:54Geno Smith, no, they've seen it. They've done it.
- 28:56They don't want to deal with it again.
- 28:57So I understand what you're saying, but Kyla Murray doesn't
- 29:00make any sense. Here's the thing.
- 29:02Kyla Murray makes sense for Miami.
- 29:05He makes sense for Miami right now for that organization.
- 29:08So and Tua, Tua's going to get a shot, but he's going to be a
- 29:11backup. If The Jets want to bring him in
- 29:14as a guy that starts this year and to back up their their young
- 29:17quarterback when they draft 1 next year, then you do that.
- 29:20I don't mind Tua if you get him on the cheap, why not I I'll
- 29:24take that. And he's a good guy.
- 29:26He's a good guy in the locker room.
- 29:27It seems like he's a quiet guy. He's one with God.
- 29:29He's very religious, so if you could get them on the cheap, I
- 29:32bring Tua there. I wouldn't complain about that.
- 29:35Yeah, Tua and Brissett, I think, are the two that you could say
- 29:37are pretty good locker room guys.
- 29:39Everywhere they've gone, Brissett's obviously bumped
- 29:41around into a with the Dolphins. All the adversity they've gone.
- 29:43So was Kirk Cousins. And Kirk Cousins, yeah, Kirk
- 29:46Cousins is interesting as well. Like, it's interesting because
- 29:48also the Vikings are going to be in competition for a better
- 29:50backup quarterback for McCarthy or maybe a French starter if
- 29:52McCarthy still is as bad as he was in the first half of the
- 29:55season. And you would think Kirk Cousins
- 29:56a reunion over there could be possible as.
- 29:58Well, why not Kyla Murray over there?
- 30:00Or the other thing I was thinking was Tua over there as
- 30:02well, because I think Tua is a better scheme fit for
- 30:05O'connell's offense with the Vikings, and I think that'll
- 30:07help somebody like Justin Jefferson, which Tua has better,
- 30:10I guess deep and intermediate throwing ability.
- 30:12Kyler Murray's kind of a weird one.
- 30:13He's kind of flashy in the pan type.
- 30:15I don't know if that really fits O'Connell as much.
- 30:17But I agree with you it definitely.
- 30:18Doesn't fit The Jets. Tua plays better without the
- 30:21cold, and that's an indoor place.
- 30:23So maybe Tua going to Minnesota makes a lot of sense too.
- 30:26So because he's great indoors if you look at his numbers.
- 30:29I agree with you 100% though with Kyler Murray, The Jets, I
- 30:31don't think it makes, it makes no sense.
- 30:33I think you're looking at a new offensive coaching staff they
- 30:36got rid of, they got rid of Justin Fields and that scheme
- 30:39trying to make it a mobile type run for scheme.
- 30:42Like why would Kyler Murray's a little better than Justin Fields
- 30:44maybe, but not by much. Not my much.
- 30:46Not going to happen that way. There's no way.
- 30:48Yeah, it doesn't make sense. You would just rather bring back
- 30:50Fields at that point who has familiarity with the rest of the
- 30:51team. I could see Tua, if they could
- 30:54figure out the money thing, I could see that.
- 30:56And then like you said, Errol Bridging, if they draft somebody
- 30:59next year, that makes a lot of sense to me.
- 31:02Let's get into hockey. We talked most of the hockey
- 31:04already tonight when we did our trade deadline segment.
- 31:07So just JT Miller was put on the IR immediately, got hurt as soon
- 31:12as he came back from the Olympics.
- 31:15Might as well just tank it at this point, boys.
- 31:19Let's try to get that number one pick in the draft.
- 31:22Let's go for it is apparently the model, even though they won
- 31:24six to two tonight over the Maple Leafs.
- 31:26Tells you a lot about the Maple. Leafs, this draft, everybody was
- 31:29talking about how great this draft is.
- 31:31A lot of people don't think that this draft has a franchise
- 31:35changing player in it. That's what I'm hearing right
- 31:39now, that it's a good draft. They thought it was going to be
- 31:43a good, but now the kid from Penn State is falling and what
- 31:46happened in the bar is definitely going to hurt them.
- 31:49I, I, and he did not look, he has not looked good in Penn
- 31:52State. He didn't not look good this
- 31:54year in the world championship game either.
- 31:57He didn't look good for Canada. So I, I think there's no like
- 32:01franchise changing player in this draft like like Schaefer,
- 32:05you know, Matthew Schaefer has been for the Islanders.
- 32:07So I think the Rangers better be be cautious on what they're
- 32:11doing right now because if if Drury strikes out again, he's
- 32:15done, he's going to set this team back for many, many years.
- 32:19McKenna, you're talking about he's played 30 games for Penn
- 32:22State. He's got thirteen goals and 33
- 32:24assists, you know, OK. No, it's good.
- 32:28It's good. It's good, but you're playing.
- 32:30But not what you think. Yeah, you're playing in Penn
- 32:32State. You know, you're, you're you
- 32:35should have like 30 goals and and you're you're supposed to be
- 32:38like a game. Everybody says this guy's a
- 32:40franchise changing player going into this year's class and I the
- 32:45comparative economy David, OK, he's not I'm I'm sorry fans.
- 32:50And if I were the Rangers, I'm going after that defenseman for
- 32:53North Dakota, right? It was North Dakota speedy North
- 32:56Dakota State North. Dakota State, I believe.
- 32:57North Dakota State, that guy, that's the guy I'd go after if
- 33:00I'm the Rangers, that's a guy that's a game changer, a Matthew
- 33:03Schaeffer type of player. I I hope they get someone who's
- 33:06a game changer. Last two times they had high
- 33:08picks it was Capococko and Alexi Lafreniere.
- 33:13So not some great luck for the Rangers in that one.
- 33:15The Devils. I have something here on the
- 33:18Devils. They looking to move Dougie
- 33:22Hamilton probably at the deadline.
- 33:24Not gonna happen. He's got a 10 team, no trade
- 33:26list and a big contract. They may eat some of the
- 33:29contract to get rid of them. I don't know how much you'd be
- 33:31willing to eat. I don't know why you would
- 33:33really do that. But it's sources say the
- 33:37Hurricanes, Maple Leaf Centers and Penguins all would have
- 33:41interest and they also might trade former number two overall
- 33:46pick Speedy. You have to help me with his
- 33:48name, Nemec, who's going to be a restricted free agent.
- 33:52Nemec is an interesting one because he's had good flashes
- 33:55with the Devils but never is anointed to be the number two
- 33:58overall pick. So a team that maybe could use a
- 34:00depth, maybe a second or third piece defenseman as a younger
- 34:02option and pay him after that, it would be interesting.
- 34:05I I agree with that all. I don't see Hamilton getting
- 34:06moved to any of those teams. Those are two potential sellers
- 34:09right there. The Penguins are kind of in
- 34:10between and a Hurricanes team, and if they go for a big swing,
- 34:13it's going to be on offense, not on defense.
- 34:15And you know what's so amazing about the the fact that the
- 34:18Devils are where they are today. Jack Hughes can't stay healthy,
- 34:21but when he's in the lineup, he plays a big dividends of what
- 34:24they are as a team. And and this team was supposed
- 34:27to be great. They made all these moves.
- 34:28They were expected to be a top three team in the, in the, in
- 34:32the Eastern Conference. They just keep falling and
- 34:35falling and falling and falling. And now they're going to have
- 34:37another high draft pick. How many high draft picks does
- 34:40the Devils need? They might win the I wouldn't
- 34:43even be surprised they get the number one pick.
- 34:45They they've had how many #1 picks?
- 34:47I wouldn't even be surprised they win the win the champion.
- 34:49Who's number 2? And they're already going to
- 34:51have to trade him. It makes no sense, but it's
- 34:53difficult. All right, let's move on and
- 34:55finish this off. Let's talk about the Big East.
- 34:58We're getting into the Big East tournament in about a week.
- 35:02We have right now. The top 2 seeds will be #4
- 35:06overall ranked UConn looking to be a top seed in the NCAA
- 35:11tournament as well #18 seed St. John's seem to be the other lock
- 35:17in there for the top seeds in the tournament. close call.
- 35:20Seton Hall's been a pretty spry team.
- 35:23They're on the bubble of the NCAA tournament at 20 and 10.
- 35:27They're going to have to make some noise in the Big East
- 35:29tournament to get in. Maybe have a couple of upsets of
- 35:32some of these teams. And then there's Villanova, who
- 35:34also looks pretty safe to be in the NCAA Tournament, projected
- 35:38to be around A7 seed according to the bracketologies.
- 35:41They've lost to both St. John's and UConn for most of
- 35:46their losses this season. They're all.
- 35:48I'll tell you this, St. John's, it's going to be St.
- 35:51John's and UConn in the championship.
- 35:54Not not in the tournament championship, but the the Big
- 35:56East tournament championship. These do.
- 35:58UConn destroyed St. John's and you know, Pitino's
- 36:01going to go in to this game with, you know, to me, a
- 36:06vengeance. I expect St.
- 36:08John's to put on a show in this tournament to show obviously
- 36:12the, what do they call them? Brachologists, brachetologists,
- 36:14brachetologists, why they should be ranked a little bit higher
- 36:18than where they're seated. And I, I think, I think they're
- 36:22in a position to do that. I, I think they beat Yukon.
- 36:24I still think Yukon's a top one seed.
- 36:26I think they're a one seed, but I think they might drop a little
- 36:29bit. It depends.
- 36:31We'll see how it works out. But Yukon's dangerous because of
- 36:34Danny Harley. That's it.
- 36:35Yeah, Yukon probably wouldn't drop to anything lesser than A2
- 36:38even if they don't do well in the Big East tournament.
- 36:40Saint John's if they beat Yukon in a in a potential.
- 36:43Championship Yukon If they go into a championship and Saint
- 36:45John's beats them, Yukon's still a number one seed.
- 36:48They they definitely could be if everything else goes as as
- 36:51planned, because the Big 12, you would think the conference
- 36:53tournaments are going to cancel each other out a little bit.
- 36:55So obviously if Michigan wins the Big 10 tournament, they
- 36:57should be a number one seed. But yeah, there's definitely
- 36:59still a possibility even with that because we've seen the
- 37:01conference tournaments where even the champion still doesn't
- 37:04fall if they don't have the other metrics on their side.
- 37:05If Saint John's, though, wins the Big East, they could
- 37:08definitely out their projected 4.
- 37:09I think right now they could definitely elevate to a three
- 37:11and maybe if things go weird, maybe a 2 as well.
- 37:13Maybe the lower end too. Villanova, you guys talked about
- 37:17on dialing up on on Monday with Kevin Willard.
- 37:19That should be an interesting thing.
- 37:20He they dwelled Maryland in the past and he said, well, with
- 37:22Seton Hall, hopefully Seton Hall does make it, but they're going
- 37:24to have an uphill thing to climb.
- 37:26They probably have to make the semifinals of the Big East
- 37:27tournament at least. All right, boys.
- 37:30And that is it for this week's Concrete Jungle Carousel.
- 37:34We'll take a ride again in a week.
- 37:36All right. Ladies and gentlemen, our final
- 37:37segment of the night is what's that smell?
- 37:40Hold up, what is that smell? What's that?
- 37:48Smell. Wow, you don't see that every
- 37:49day. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 37:51if you don't know what's that smell, you haven't listened to
- 37:53the show. It's pretty simple.
- 37:55All we're going to do is tell you one of these big stories or
- 37:57maybe even stories you never even heard that is going on in
- 38:01sports or whatever you want to talk about, and we're going to
- 38:03tell you what it smells like. So tonight we're going to go
- 38:05this route. We're going to go Tommy Speedy,
- 38:09fish me. Here we go.
- 38:14All right, let's start this music.
- 38:16So I'm going to actually not stick with the world of sports
- 38:19today. I'm going to actually be going
- 38:21over to the world of film. I did this a while back, but I'm
- 38:24going to be going over to theatrical Ness only because for
- 38:27those who haven't known this past weekend one of the best
- 38:32horror horror I guess you could say creators Wes Cravens 7th
- 38:36installment of scream was released.
- 38:39Now for those who don't know who Wes Craven is a guy who's made
- 38:41iconic cult classic horror movies, things like Friday the
- 38:4413th, Scream, like I mentioned just now, The Hills Have Eyes.
- 38:48So it's pretty a shame to say that this movie was the epitome
- 38:54of God awful dog crap. This movie was just not good.
- 38:58Let's just put it straight up as that.
- 38:59The movie which makes a nice reveal.
- 39:02The killers, the things that make the movie.
- 39:04The movie just absolutely fell fat, absolutely fell flat.
- 39:08I will say that without any spoilers for whoever wants to
- 39:11see the movie, you'll literally spend your money on anything
- 39:13else. You'll literally spend your
- 39:15money better on anything else. You could buy a hot dog three
- 39:18more times, however much you actually want to spend on that
- 39:22ticket. But basically, it's it.
- 39:24It was not a good movie at all. The acting was terrible, the
- 39:27plot was terrible. Like I said, the reveal was
- 39:28terrible and it's just a shame to see Wes Craven's beloved
- 39:32movie just be butchered and slaughtered as such.
- 39:35So what does it smell like? Well, I asked ChatGPT what is
- 39:38the top 10 smelliest things of all time, and that number 7 is
- 39:43the striped skunk, which according to ChatGPT, is smelly
- 39:47due to its potent stink, which can actually stink up an entire
- 39:51neighborhood with just one spray.
- 39:53So there we go. All right, so I'm actually going
- 39:56to go to the one that Reno Johnny was hinting at earlier.
- 39:59I saw this on our actually our network Facebook, it popped up
- 40:02and that is what is going on with Cal State Bakerfield, their
- 40:06basketball staff and it's centers around assistant.
- 40:09Not only just assisted a temporary assistant head coach
- 40:12Kevin Mays, who reportedly has worked as a as a pimp,
- 40:16moonlighting as a pimp in four different other spots in the
- 40:20world. He sent messages such as fix it
- 40:22or the whole staff would fail. There's apparently connections
- 40:24where he's been involved with some of the the softball players
- 40:27and coaches over there at Cal State Bakersfield.
- 40:30And there's been a lot of other issues with there's that whole
- 40:34lifestyle. Very disturbing back story.
- 40:37And the Cal State Bakersfield there hasn't done any action on
- 40:40it yet. But the tipster was a woman maze
- 40:44allegedly trafficked along with many others for several months.
- 40:48So what does it smell like? Well, apparently the most
- 40:50notable athletic alumni is NFL guard, mostly with the New
- 40:54England Patriots, Steven Neil. So it gives me a reason to take
- 40:56shots at Robert Kraft. What it smells like is Robert
- 40:59Kraft being a simp to a bunch of Roadrunners.
- 41:05Roadrunners. Huh.
- 41:06I don't know what that would possibly smell like Speedy.
- 41:09That's that's a. Strange one.
- 41:11Yeah, that's the after effect of whatever is it is it is day spa
- 41:14is Becky Seal exercise. In his day spa.
- 41:17That was his fantasy name. It was great.
- 41:20All right, I got an interesting one.
- 41:22Let's go back to the New York Rangers.
- 41:26You know they're going to be playing on April 5th, The
- 41:30Washington Capitals and the game that let's face, doesn't matter
- 41:33too much in the grand scheme of things, except it'll matter a
- 41:38lot to some younger fans. Errol that's the date of the
- 41:42Inside Out Classic where real time animated alternative
- 41:48broadcast to the beloved game of hockey will take place with
- 41:52characters. Another tow job on the movie
- 41:55Inside Out and it'll be airing on ESPN Plus, Disney Plus,
- 41:59Disney Channel and Disney XD. 7:00 PM Start the voice talent
- 42:04from Inside out and its sequel will be Phyllis will be
- 42:09featured, including Phyllis. Sabo.
- 42:12Who is set the character sadness?
- 42:15Lewis Black is the character Anger, Tony Hale is Fear and
- 42:20Maya Hawk. Is shining.
- 42:23It's in a really short window. It kind of exploded at one
- 42:25point. We were just thinking of doing
- 42:27something a little small. That was the NH LS executive
- 42:30vice. President, squeeze the cheese
- 42:31and. It grew quickly grew and grew
- 42:34because of the buy in from Disney.
- 42:37Apparently a couple years ago they did this as well.
- 42:41They replaced the on ice referee with a chicken.
- 42:46I guess you can't enjoy hockey. You got to get fans who don't
- 42:50know anything about hockey. And I have a bunch of chickens
- 42:53and cartoon characters skate around ice.
- 42:55I guess that's better than watching the Rangers anyway.
- 42:58Whatever. Corporate greed is what this
- 43:02garbage smells like. Make her squirt.
- 43:06Make me jerk. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 43:09our final what's that smell has to go to this story because I I
- 43:13think Jack Hughes a lucky man right now.
- 43:16There are rumors going out there that Jack Hughes, the New Jersey
- 43:20Devil star and Team USA's golden goal scorer, the man in need of
- 43:26some dentistry. Dentistry has been rumored to be
- 43:29dating who Tate McCray, the Canadian singer?
- 43:33Yes, she was. She has been seen in New York
- 43:36City hanging out at New Jersey Devil Games in December.
- 43:40Where there's smoke, there is fire, right?
- 43:43Well, ladies and gentlemen, there is fire because there are
- 43:46rumors, hot, hot rumors that Tate McCray is now single and
- 43:52she's out on the prowl. And Jack Hughes actually went
- 43:55into her DM, started talking to her.
- 43:58And two young superstars, one with New Jersey is like 2223.
- 44:03And Tate McRae, she's 2122, big superstar Canadian, loves
- 44:06hockey, grew up around hockey, loves the hockey player.
- 44:10Yeah, Tate McRae and Jack used the young lad who seems to be
- 44:15jumping from 1 bed to another. I'm loving it, I really do.
- 44:19And congratulations if that's happening.
- 44:21It's good for him, Good for him. I love it.
- 44:23What does it smell? What does it smell like?
- 44:25It smells like gold. That's what it smells like
- 44:29absolute gold. And why not for Jack Hughes, who
- 44:33I mean, the guy's a superstar. He was the golden goal goal guy
- 44:37and, and, and a guy that brought after 46 years another gold
- 44:41medal home to really United States hockey.
- 44:44That is well deserved. So I love it.
- 44:47I, I think it's great. I think it's great for hockey if
- 44:49it is true, and it is usually when this is coming out in many
- 44:53different sectors, it's true. So, and she's been at multiple
- 44:57New Jersey Devil games. So why?
- 45:00Why is she at a Ranger game or an Islander game?
- 45:02She's going to Devil games, I wonder.
- 45:05So anyways. Easier ticket to get in Newark?
- 45:09She's she's rich. You think she cares about easy
- 45:12tickets? That woman can get whatever and
- 45:15anywhere she wants, so I don't think Madison Square Garden's a
- 45:18problem for her. She sold out Madison Square
- 45:20Garden 4 shows in a row when she went on tour, so I doubt she has
- 45:25a problem getting a Ranger game ticket right against.
- 45:27As long as she's the one singing and not James Dolan's band,
- 45:30it's. A cool story and I listen if
- 45:32it's true and it seems like it is good for Jack Hughes, good
- 45:36for him. Yeah, good for him.
- 45:37He beats Canada once and then he takes the Canadian girl at the
- 45:41end. How about that?
- 45:43She's the Prince, Princess or the queen and slide it right in,
- 45:46right? We say all the time, right
- 45:47Speedy? That's different department.
- 45:50Suck my Indo all right circle jerk.
- 45:54Well, he'd be circle joking. That or he'd be doing.
