  good afternoon welcome to today's ngx midday update uh let's see what the index is doing at the moment the all share index is in the green is up by 0.01 percent so essentially the index is flat at the moment uh let's look at the top gainers that we have uh leading the gainers ucap is up 10 percent coin price is 18.7 naira uh coverton is also up 10 percent current price is 6.6 naira

  and then you have fits in up nine point nine seven percent current price is one twenty four point six naira on the loser side of things rtb square is down ten percent current price is fifteen point three naira stitches is down nine point nine nine percent current price is thirty two nine sixty nine couple and then you have red star express current price is twenty six nine fifty couple down by nine point eight six percent uh in terms of volume volume and value traded on the volume side of things

  and the value side of things first hold core is dominating on the volume side of things first hold core is leading the pack 46.5 million shares traded second place is assets corporation to 26.2 million shares traded at third place is ftn coco with 23.7 million shares traded on the value side of things 3.3 2 billion naira what the first hold could shares have been traded so far so it's taking poor position on the value side of things

  MTN and CEPLAT are in the red. MTN is currently trading at $8.29 a share. It's down by 1.8%. CEPLAT is trading at $10,938. It's down by 5.7%. UBA and WAPCO are flat. UBA current price $43.8. WAPCO current price $3.49 a share.

  a zenith bank is slightly down is trading at 129.65 down by 1.03 percent and let's move on to some of the other names that we are seeing and let's go to gtco gtco currently trading at 147.45 uh it's flat is essential it's down by 0.03 but you can see it's flat at 147.45 it's just down by five copper so that's not a major move

  uh for gt code then you have guinness at 386 i'm looking at the bit of a spread guinness as you know if you follow the pre-market videos i'm paying close attention to the brewery space and looking at the big four brewers uh nigerian breweries international breweries guinness and champion breweries so guinness at the moment is down by four point one two percent a hundred and fifteen thousand shares traded so far let's see if we can have this stock close uh lower
