- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I have a feeling girls subconsciously have been told it's
- 0:06Speaker 2: just this thing online where boyfriends suck are taken photos. Okay,
- 0:09Speaker 2: and girls are way better at taking photos, and I'm
- 0:12Speaker 2: over it.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I want to start a petition. The Relatables podcast is
- 0:27Speaker 1: hosted by myself, Addie Clark aka Mummy and my partner
- 0:31Speaker 1: in crime, mister J. Craig aka Daddy. What crimes have
- 0:38Speaker 1: we committed? What crimes? Why are we saying that because
- 0:43Speaker 1: we say partner in crime? Oh, partner in crime? Playing words?
- 0:46Speaker 1: What crimes have I committed? I don't know. I was
- 0:50Speaker 1: gonna say something so cringe. Was also about to say
- 0:57Speaker 1: something too cute, Stop handsome. Let's just guess what's it called?
- 1:07Speaker 1: Lightly gas? Yeah? Yeah, we're lightly gassing, Jake. We haven't
- 1:13Speaker 1: been doing very well lately in the game.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Make them say no, I think we fucking suck man?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Where one and up to down? So this is this
- 1:22Speaker 1: series where we call a lovely listener, tell them they
- 1:24Speaker 1: want a hat, and if we make them say the
- 1:26Speaker 1: word from the random word generator, they don't get to
- 1:28Speaker 1: win the hat. So today we need redemption. I just
- 1:32Speaker 1: want to get one and they'll give away ten hats.
- 1:34Speaker 1: We get one. So the contest that we are calling
- 1:36Speaker 1: today is jazz. We're going to tell us she's one
- 1:38Speaker 1: a hat and what's the random word? We're going to
- 1:39Speaker 1: try and make us say, Okay, live bag, let's go. Bag?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Is good bag? Any approach or shipping bags? We've got
- 1:48Speaker 1: so many approaches here, We've got to get this one.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Oh God, hopefully she's shopping. If it's written in the stars,
- 1:54Speaker 1: what have you got your hands? That's cool, let's cool.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I've got an approach. I've got heaps of approaches. Hi, Jazz,
- 2:03Speaker 1: this is Jake and Ody from the Relatables. Hi, this
- 2:08Speaker 1: is going to be a print call. No, I'm walking
- 2:14Speaker 1: out of car. Good timing, great timing. When you need
- 2:19Speaker 1: to you go do I go to Woongong big one.
- 2:24Speaker 1: But are you studying? I study electrical engineering. That's impressive.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That is very impressive. Good to say. Jesus, How sorry
- 2:35Speaker 1: to it are you? I'm in third you, it's four years,
- 2:38Speaker 1: third four you. You're almost done? And then I show yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 1: almost once you're done, you're going to be an electrical engineer. Oh,
- 2:46Speaker 1: graduate engineer. I don't know about. I don't think that
- 2:49Speaker 1: will let me do anything properly, So you can't.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Do so you have to go like get experience on
- 2:55Speaker 2: the job before you becoming Yeah, i'd.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Probably following a around. I'm like an experience engineer. Yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 1: far out. Yeah, I've got a question for you. You
- 3:09Speaker 1: need to settle a debate between me and Jacob and
- 3:11Speaker 1: have been having. Okay, I can do this. I'm about
- 3:15Speaker 1: to go to Bali, right, and I am going to
- 3:20Speaker 1: be using what when you go traveling and use big bag? Right,
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's called luggage. When you use your carry on? What
- 3:27Speaker 1: do you call that? What do I call my carry on? Baggage?
- 3:37Speaker 1: My carry on? Fair enough? Fair enough, We've got a
- 3:42Speaker 1: confession to make. We we we would like let you
- 3:46Speaker 1: know you want to hat, because we were trying to
- 3:57Speaker 1: get you to say the word bag. But what you
- 3:58Speaker 1: literally said, oh, when you go away, you've got a
- 4:01Speaker 1: big bag and a small bag. So he said the words,
- 4:03Speaker 1: so he's ruined. I don't even realize I did that.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So what actually has happened is you've want a hat? Yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you want to hat? Yeah? What colors are there? Blue
- 4:17Speaker 1: and pink? Well, I'm actually currently wearing a blue hat,
- 4:22Speaker 1: so maybe pink out you need a pink one. Sure,
- 4:24Speaker 1: too easy, We'll say it up too. Oh, thank you
- 4:27Speaker 1: so much, thank you for listening, Thanks for playing. All right,
- 4:30Speaker 1: you guys have good day too. I'm sorry. I don't know.
- 4:35Speaker 1: My brain farted as soon as I, like the pressure
- 4:38Speaker 1: got to me. I was thinking about my bag, like
- 4:40Speaker 1: luggage going overseas the Bali, and then like I stumbled
- 4:44Speaker 1: when I had to think of it, and then I
- 4:45Speaker 1: like spat something out and said bags a hard game.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Hard when you dumb now, and you said, I looked
- 4:51Speaker 1: at you took my head and I was like, fuck,
- 4:52Speaker 1: we lost it. I feel so dumb now. I had
- 4:55Speaker 1: a little thing in my head that was working. I
- 4:57Speaker 1: couldn't spit it out. I was like the UNI route
- 5:00Speaker 1: because I do ask her. I wanted to like do it.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I wanted to have an actual conversation with her and
- 5:06Speaker 1: not just like go, we've got a question for you
- 5:07Speaker 1: every time because we could get them every time. I
- 5:09Speaker 1: reckon yeah, yeah. And so with the UNI route, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: was like, Okay, I'm gonna ask a couple of questions
- 5:12Speaker 1: about work, about UNI, and I'm going to be like
- 5:15Speaker 1: got anything on your back or like we gotta be
- 5:19Speaker 1: on the same page, because I was thinking you weren't
- 5:20Speaker 1: for me to like chime in because you had nothing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well I knew because like you're like electrical engineer. Oh
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I can't believe you're starting
- 5:31Speaker 1: to try and blame me for You're trying to blame
- 5:33Speaker 1: me for taking too long. You said back No, I
- 5:35Speaker 1: didn't think you blame me. I just think you didn't
- 5:37Speaker 1: have it. I just thought you didn't have anything right worse,
- 5:41Speaker 1: what's on your back? What girl was backpacked? I was
- 5:43Speaker 1: going to be like I was going to try and
- 5:45Speaker 1: be like initially I was going to say, like Addie
- 5:48Speaker 1: and I have a like maybe a debate of the
- 5:51Speaker 1: best place for a girl to store her phone, and
- 5:55Speaker 1: so girls put it in their bag. You didn't say
- 5:58Speaker 1: you didn't have that you didn't have, but I didn't
- 5:59Speaker 1: say no. You know before when we had the way back,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I could do that, but I
- 6:03Speaker 1: just feel bad, like we got to try and get
- 6:04Speaker 1: a conversation and into the way anyway. Sorry, I'll take
- 6:07Speaker 1: the one. Sorry, all right.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Weeks ago, a couple of weeks ago, now you hit
- 6:20Speaker 2: me with a question and it was.
- 6:25Speaker 1: The one where it was a scenario.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And it was the one where it was like, you're
- 6:29Speaker 2: away all right, you could you said, get into the
- 6:30Speaker 2: mind of a girl, and you said, if you if
- 6:34Speaker 2: your partner went missing?
- 6:35Speaker 1: All right? And it was two am, and yeah, would
- 6:38Speaker 1: you yeah? Would you do?
- 6:39Speaker 2: You kinn caret You guys haven't listened to it. It's
- 6:41Speaker 2: a couple of weeks back and go catch up. But my, my,
- 6:46Speaker 2: my lovely girlfriend didn't listen to that episode. So I
- 6:50Speaker 2: decided to. I just decided to play a little game
- 6:53Speaker 2: with her. And so yesterday I just hit her with
- 7:00Speaker 2: I have a question for you, poopy.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Poopy.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I call her poopy, said I have a question
- 7:05Speaker 2: for you, poopy. She said yes. I said, if you
- 7:08Speaker 2: and I went on a holiday to a foreign place
- 7:11Speaker 2: and for some reason I went missing and you and
- 7:14Speaker 2: the police were looking for me well into the night,
- 7:16Speaker 2: and they said they need to and they said, like,
- 7:18Speaker 2: we need to call it off until tomorrow when you
- 7:21Speaker 2: go back to the hotel. Would you still do your
- 7:23Speaker 2: skincare routine? She goes, um, yeah, I don't want to
- 7:28Speaker 2: be depressed and ugly.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Good answer, to be fair, great response. I don't think
- 7:36Speaker 1: you could get a better response. I don't want to
- 7:38Speaker 1: be depressed. I just thought it was a great I
- 7:42Speaker 1: laughter that response. I don't think you can answer any better.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And and then we just like stopped talking about it. Yeah,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and then later on in the night, I we we
- 7:52Speaker 1: facetimed and we do like there's like you know, like
- 7:55Speaker 1: the word all. There's like there's like four different games
- 7:57Speaker 1: we play. There's like word all, connections, strands, and like
- 8:00Speaker 1: a mini crossword, and we just do them on FaceTime
- 8:02Speaker 1: together every night, a little ritual and it's fun. Look
- 8:06Speaker 1: forward to it. And did she pay you? She got
- 8:10Speaker 1: like a guandi your head. Yeah, it's fine. I love it. Yeah,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I love it. I actually do.
- 8:15Speaker 2: And then on that phone call, she was like, why
- 8:17Speaker 2: did you ask me that question earlier? And I was like, oh, actually,
- 8:20Speaker 2: like you didn't listen to this episode, and I explained
- 8:22Speaker 2: what it was, and then she said, like to be fair,
- 8:24Speaker 2: like would you want me to be depressed and then
- 8:27Speaker 2: wake up and look at myself with pimples from not
- 8:29Speaker 2: taking my makeup on the night before, and then be
- 8:31Speaker 2: more depress because I'm ugly tell you what's even worse,
- 8:33Speaker 2: like imagine we found you.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And then I'm all like pimply and stuff. You want
- 8:36Speaker 1: me to look like a million bucks when you know,
- 8:38Speaker 1: here's a question for you. Here's a question for you. Okay,
- 8:42Speaker 1: let's say.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Okay, you're on you're on your honeymoon, yeah, with your
- 8:46Speaker 2: now wife. Okay, you guys go to a foreign place.
- 8:50Speaker 2: You are kidnapped. Okay, Oh, this is going to be
- 8:55Speaker 2: good to ask the girls to Okay, you're kidnapped. They're
- 8:57Speaker 2: looking for you. Okay, they can't find you. They give
- 9:01Speaker 2: up that night. Okay, the next day, you've been in this.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Warehouse all night, kidnapped.
- 9:05Speaker 2: They want ransom money.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:08Speaker 2: They finally get in contact with the police and your
- 9:11Speaker 2: now new wife. Yeah, and they say the ransom money
- 9:13Speaker 2: is whatever mount they give it to the people. Okay,
- 9:16Speaker 2: spare your life, ransom mind. They get the ransom money,
- 9:18Speaker 2: they're off. Okay, you're tied to a chair. Big garage
- 9:22Speaker 2: door opens, your girl, your new wife with the police,
- 9:25Speaker 2: runs in signed it full.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Face and makeup. She got a full face face and
- 9:30Speaker 1: makeup on, right, And so you're like, where did you
- 9:33Speaker 1: find the time in all the stressing to get this makeup?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Are you pissed? Or are you just happy to be alive?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Initially happy to be alive. Yeah, but like, as I've
- 9:43Speaker 1: had time to process the situation and like I've come back,
- 9:46Speaker 1: had a shower, and I think, at that moment again
- 9:47Speaker 1: when I see my lovely wife, she's there again and
- 9:50Speaker 1: still got that makeup on. I wait a minute, I
- 9:55Speaker 1: was I there extra ten minutes, so that I had.
- 9:57Speaker 2: To be like, yeah, did you know there was gonna
- 10:00Speaker 2: be cameras there, the news.
- 10:02Speaker 1: There, and how do you feel your boyfriend's Yeah, it
- 10:05Speaker 1: was a tough experience, guys, I'm glad he's back. Like, yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 1: i'd be pissed after, but initially I wouldn't even say anying.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'd just be happy to be like, yeah, you'd be
- 10:12Speaker 1: happy to be like but you would be like, it
- 10:15Speaker 1: didn't look like you slept in that makeer. So that
- 10:17Speaker 1: wasn't the day from the day before. She's been living
- 10:19Speaker 1: her best life. She's been using all her honeymoon honeymoon plans.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You guys had you got like a massage books that
- 10:25Speaker 1: before and they were like, we've got a close search.
- 10:27Speaker 1: She's like, I got a massage anyway, I got to
- 10:29Speaker 1: do something to relieve distressed. Perfect. Yeah, at least the
- 10:32Speaker 1: pressure on the back far so I'm gonna I'm going
- 10:36Speaker 1: to ask another question. You say, Okay, I've been kidnapped.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm going to text it to her. I've been kidnapped. Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: send voice messages next time. Keep them. Yeah, I'll keep him.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'll be like, okay, scenario. She's gotta knows for the
- 10:48Speaker 1: plot this time. Now though she will know it's for
- 10:50Speaker 1: the It started to be like I was thinking about scenario.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Gave you that. I've got another one, just ridom I do. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: good idea. If people want to send in scenarios, I'm
- 10:59Speaker 1: pretty sure we don't. We have a link to do it. Nah,
- 11:02Speaker 1: we never released No, No, we do, yeah, we do.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I never. We've only done it once. Though we only
- 11:05Speaker 1: did it once. We've only done scenarios once. Can we
- 11:08Speaker 1: put it in? Is it easy to pusription? Yeah? You
- 11:11Speaker 1: guys have like a funny scenario to give us. Put it.
- 11:13Speaker 2: It's in the link of the just description of this
- 11:15Speaker 2: video or this episode on Spotify and stuff.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Go send it a scenario. It's funny. They see different
- 11:20Speaker 1: answers from guys and girls. Yeah, I think they're fine. Ass.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You can even say like what your boyfriend or girlfriend answered.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, Jack, and I actually wanted to
- 11:28Speaker 1: bring something up as well. Yeah, I want to be
- 11:30Speaker 1: Do you know those people who like start petitions and
- 11:33Speaker 1: like try and get stuff changed. Yeah, I don't know
- 11:35Speaker 1: how to do that, but I want to be one
- 11:37Speaker 1: of those people.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, okay, okay, okay. I was going to say,
- 11:39Speaker 2: how do they do it?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, never do I but I can look into it.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But tell me if my idea is worth starting a petition. Okay.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Maybe I'm just like have a bad tolerance or something
- 11:49Speaker 1: like that, But I think I should start a petition,
- 11:50Speaker 1: and I think all of our listeners would sign it
- 11:53Speaker 1: and everyone in the world would sign it too. So
- 11:55Speaker 1: the petition, I don't have quite the right name for it. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: but the petition is basically basically going to be a
- 12:00Speaker 1: brief outline of anyone who moves in slow motion, has
- 12:06Speaker 1: a kid and doesn't know where special awareness is, or
- 12:09Speaker 1: goes under the speed limit gets fined. Fine, yeah, do
- 12:14Speaker 1: you police. I'll be the police officer. You will be
- 12:17Speaker 1: the police officer. Yea. Yeah, So you'll be making a
- 12:18Speaker 1: wage in this petition as well. Fifty dollars fine, fifty buck.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So I've talked about this before where people just don't
- 12:26Speaker 1: know you that. Yesterday I had to go to kmart, right, yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I'm there walking through the aisle. One lady has a
- 12:32Speaker 1: pram and a kid. Yeah, And I was like, oh, yep, whatever,
- 12:35Speaker 1: doing a thing looking at like hats. I was like,
- 12:36Speaker 1: fair enough. This other lady walks in front of me
- 12:39Speaker 1: with a trolley. See we lock eye contact. She walks
- 12:42Speaker 1: in front of me and walking right behind her, she
- 12:44Speaker 1: just stops next to this kid in the toddler and
- 12:48Speaker 1: just blocks the whole thing, doesn't even acknowledge my existence.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And I literally can't get pasted because I was holding
- 12:53Speaker 1: an item and I had to go around them and
- 12:56Speaker 1: to another aisle and exit it. And I'm like, I'm like,
- 12:58Speaker 1: are you see You knew I was there and you
- 13:01Speaker 1: just stopped And I was like, this can't be real life.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And it happens all the time to me. I first
- 13:08Speaker 1: question is would you sign the petition?
- 13:10Speaker 2: I actually would sign that petition for you because I
- 13:13Speaker 2: think I have really good special I think.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Young people do have good special awen it. I do
- 13:17Speaker 1: think she saw me, looked me in the eyes, and
- 13:19Speaker 1: then stopped and I'm like, do you just not care
- 13:22Speaker 1: that I'm here at least like pull your trolley over
- 13:24Speaker 1: the side so there's enough room for me to get by.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I was like I was full pissed. Sometimes do you
- 13:28Speaker 1: think like I feel like sometimes people can be like
- 13:33Speaker 1: are we nice? Are we like too nice in public?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Like to a fault? Maybe should be like assert ourt
- 13:39Speaker 1: dominance and just not move? Yeah, do you reckon?
- 13:41Speaker 2: There's some sort of joy and just like maybe some
- 13:44Speaker 2: power into some asserting of dominance, like if you instead
- 13:48Speaker 2: of like so she stopped there right and she tried
- 13:51Speaker 2: to she obviously blocked the lane and then what if
- 13:54Speaker 2: you instead of turning around and just like avoiding saying
- 13:57Speaker 2: something to her, just want to be like gotta get past.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Say excuse me, just like got to get past. Yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 1: So I just like it's like two hour sohols talking
- 14:03Speaker 1: to each other. She get it mate, Yeah, but you
- 14:06Speaker 1: should get it? Yeah? Is that what they want? Though?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Like or did? She does not knows? There? Is that
- 14:09Speaker 1: what I gotta do? Like she had to know you
- 14:11Speaker 1: were there? Are you walking to the left? Yes? I
- 14:13Speaker 1: was walking were you in? It was just like about
- 14:15Speaker 1: to pay the last hour before you can pay? Yeah,
- 14:17Speaker 1: and she just stopped like before you turn left to
- 14:19Speaker 1: get in there where the hats are on stuff and
- 14:21Speaker 1: came up. It's not gonna help for any listeners. But no,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I know you're talking about it. Yeah, just there that one,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and I was like, you can't be serious. And then
- 14:27Speaker 1: it's even like ah, just driving and stuff and you
- 14:29Speaker 1: get behind someone going fifteen to seventy.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Though, my biggest pet peeve is is when someone is
- 14:36Speaker 2: because in the towns we live in, everyone listening in
- 14:39Speaker 2: the town you live in, you know the roads you
- 14:40Speaker 2: can get away with a little bit quicker. Yeah, you know,
- 14:43Speaker 2: you can tell when someone's not from here and they're
- 14:46Speaker 2: either looking for a house to turn into because we
- 14:48Speaker 2: want to visit someone, but they just call over a stroll, yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 2: not for a drive, and you're like, fuck, like one
- 14:56Speaker 2: hundred meters away from my house, I'm still like, you're going.
- 14:58Speaker 1: So slow, Like I just fucking get over. I would
- 15:01Speaker 1: just be like boys. But it's even worse, Like I
- 15:03Speaker 1: feel like where I live just full of old people.
- 15:05Speaker 1: So every time I go there, it's just like the
- 15:08Speaker 1: slow as possible and I take it next a couple
- 15:10Speaker 1: of minutes to get home. Yeah. I feel like such
- 15:12Speaker 1: a wankum right now. Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I Like I beat myself up a bit when I
- 15:16Speaker 2: get pissed off about One of my least favorite things
- 15:20Speaker 2: is being in a busy shopping center right bustling, you
- 15:24Speaker 2: know people. For some reason, when I'm at the shops,
- 15:27Speaker 2: I'm like, just I just don't want to get to
- 15:30Speaker 2: every place. I need to go quick and get out.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I don't surely everyone wants to do that. Nah, they
- 15:34Speaker 2: love it in there. Oh that's fucking crazy to me, man,
- 15:37Speaker 2: because one of my biggest pet peeves is getting stuck
- 15:42Speaker 2: behind someone walking slow but like there's not enough space
- 15:46Speaker 2: to get around them, and then there's heaps of space
- 15:49Speaker 2: in front of them because everyone in front of them
- 15:50Speaker 2: is walking really quick and you're behind them, and you're like,
- 15:52Speaker 2: wouldn't it be nice to just be right in front
- 15:54Speaker 2: of them, and they're just fucking and you've gotta wait
- 15:56Speaker 2: for like space to open up so you can, like, like,
- 15:58Speaker 2: I'll walk around them aggressively to let them know I
- 16:01Speaker 2: was pissed off they were going fucking slow, and they beat.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Myself up because I'm like, oh, they're just chilling, going
- 16:06Speaker 1: about their day, you know, going with the Yeah, are
- 16:08Speaker 1: we the problem? Yeah? Are we the problem? Maybe we're
- 16:10Speaker 1: the problem. They're just going with your situation. You weren't
- 16:12Speaker 1: the problem. Yeah, in my situation, I think I could
- 16:14Speaker 1: be there and like driving, I get angry for no reason,
- 16:16Speaker 1: like the go I'm going to save three minutes? What
- 16:18Speaker 1: am I the problem? Yeah? Maybe we are the problem.
- 16:20Speaker 1: But what did they even think about it?
- 16:21Speaker 2: The other day you went to go post something at
- 16:23Speaker 2: the post office and you left early because there was
- 16:25Speaker 2: a guy that was taken. There was like three people
- 16:27Speaker 2: or four people in front of you, so that was ridiculous.
- 16:29Speaker 2: And then the guy was taking ten minutes for the
- 16:31Speaker 2: guy that was first in lance. You were thinking ten
- 16:32Speaker 2: minutes for every I'm here for an hour.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck it, that was ridiculous. It's got something to
- 16:37Speaker 1: do with age. Honestly, I reckon. I don't mean oh
- 16:39Speaker 1: I reckon. I could have done his job quicker. No,
- 16:40Speaker 1: what happened was I wanted to go ship this one
- 16:43Speaker 1: of these hats. Actually yeah, so sorry for someone who
- 16:45Speaker 1: hasn't got it yet. There was two people in front
- 16:48Speaker 1: of me. This guy had to ship two envelopes that
- 16:50Speaker 1: were slightly bigger than a non envelope, and the guy
- 16:52Speaker 1: weighs it and goes ten dollars please, and took him
- 16:55Speaker 1: about eight minutes to do that, and then he had
- 16:57Speaker 1: to do the other one, and then this other lady
- 16:58Speaker 1: came over and go, so, what are you doing? It's
- 17:01Speaker 1: like and he's just like, oh, it's like that, you
- 17:02Speaker 1: just need to stick it for that. It's only like
- 17:04Speaker 1: it's only like two dollars fifty. And then then the
- 17:07Speaker 1: guy's like, oh, so only got to pay two dollars
- 17:08Speaker 1: fifty for this one, not eleven. And I will say
- 17:10Speaker 1: like I'm going on, oh my god, oh I just
- 17:14Speaker 1: I can't stann that shit. But I think maybe we
- 17:16Speaker 1: need to practice out what's the word patience? Yeah, being
- 17:21Speaker 1: zen a little bit. I think a little bit more
- 17:23Speaker 1: Zambi what this episode could be being zen? Practice said, Okay,
- 17:34Speaker 1: how do you I play this? My girlfriend and I
- 17:36Speaker 1: play this little game. Will be like we don't text
- 17:40Speaker 1: all throughout the day. Sometimes we'll text like in the morning,
- 17:43Speaker 1: and then maybe at like mid day, I'll say like, oh,
- 17:46Speaker 1: how's work going?
- 17:47Speaker 2: Blah blah blah. And sometimes not every day, but sometimes
- 17:51Speaker 2: if like we send a text just like hey, how's
- 17:52Speaker 2: it going, Like how's yourday going? And then one of
- 17:55Speaker 2: us might be like, oh, I miss you, and then
- 17:57Speaker 2: and then one of us will say, send me a
- 17:59Speaker 2: pickup you right now, like right now, and then always
- 18:04Speaker 2: it's like if Beth sends a picture of her to me,
- 18:07Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, stop, it should be illegal
- 18:10Speaker 2: to look like good. Like we have just like a
- 18:11Speaker 2: bit of a lightly gassing, and she does the same
- 18:14Speaker 2: to me, and so it's just like a little thing
- 18:17Speaker 2: we do where like we send a pick and then
- 18:19Speaker 2: let's do some light gassing. And so maybe think of
- 18:21Speaker 2: things girls do that should be illegal but they aren't.
- 18:26Speaker 2: This before we have it was good long time ago.
- 18:29Speaker 2: So and you came up with this list. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:32Speaker 2: this is good. So things girls do that should be
- 18:35Speaker 2: illegal but they aren't. When I'm taking a photo, she
- 18:41Speaker 2: likes the very first one and doesn't get me to
- 18:43Speaker 2: take anymore.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Imagine that happened encouraged, but should be illegal. That's illegal
- 18:54Speaker 1: in there.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Once I got a bone to pick, I said it
- 18:56Speaker 2: to her face. Okay, Bethany, Bethany, come full name right, Okay,
- 19:03Speaker 2: I take photos of her. She wants me to take
- 19:05Speaker 2: photos of.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Her of course.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I know how to take a good photo now, Okay,
- 19:12Speaker 2: I know it. I know the I know the distance,
- 19:15Speaker 2: I know the angles. I know what she will like,
- 19:16Speaker 2: and I won't know what she won't like. Okay, no
- 19:20Speaker 2: matter what, Like I'm telling you, no matter what. The
- 19:26Speaker 2: first fifty, like I take heats just fifty like but
- 19:29Speaker 2: like it's like two seconds, but like I take so many,
- 19:32Speaker 2: just like be like, okay, which one?
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Which one do I replicate? No matter what the first yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 2: ten to fifty whatever. She doesn't like them, she has
- 19:41Speaker 2: something to say about it. Be closer, be further, different angles,
- 19:44Speaker 2: I height this, that the other okay, and I'm like, okay, cool.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Try again.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Takes a wall to get when she likes, but usually
- 19:51Speaker 2: it ends up being a couple.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:53Speaker 2: The other day she shows me these photos. She goes
- 19:56Speaker 2: her best friend name's Casey. She was with her friend
- 19:59Speaker 2: Casey to get lunch one day, had Henry Ono lap yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 2: and she goes, look at these good photos. Casey took it,
- 20:04Speaker 2: just random photos Casey took of me. There's three photos
- 20:07Speaker 2: and I'm like instantly, I was.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Like, that's bullshit. A If I took it, you'd fucking
- 20:11Speaker 1: hate me. I swear to God, if I took him,
- 20:13Speaker 1: she would hate I'm genuinely. She'd be mad at me
- 20:15Speaker 1: for taking them, because of the angle, because of the
- 20:17Speaker 1: way she was sitting, she'd be she'd be mad at me.
- 20:19Speaker 1: She'd be like, don't take photos of me like that.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Wait till I'm fucking like, have a good photo. I
- 20:23Speaker 1: think this is time to deploy my strategy. Mate.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I'm not saying that, you have to say. I'm not
- 20:28Speaker 2: saying that. I'm not saying that. But here's where my
- 20:31Speaker 2: here's where my bone is to pick is. I've always
- 20:34Speaker 2: known I have a feeling girls subconsciously have been told
- 20:39Speaker 2: it's just this thing online where boyfriends sucker taken photos. Okay,
- 20:42Speaker 2: and girls are way better at taking photos.
- 20:44Speaker 1: What do you think I was gonna say? I thought
- 20:47Speaker 1: you were gonna say, this is what you look like? Yeah, yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: the same way. But it's you look good.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I don't say it like I think they look great.
- 20:58Speaker 2: But and so and she even posted the photos that
- 21:01Speaker 2: her best friends took, and I'm telling you, I'm telling
- 21:04Speaker 2: you that it's because a girl took them that she
- 21:09Speaker 2: liked them, and I'm over it.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I want to start a petition.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, boyfriends take good ten photos.
- 21:17Speaker 1: That's all you get, Okay, bullshit ten photos. I like
- 21:21Speaker 1: that outsign that petition to fucking hell. You're passionate about that.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I've even said it to my said I was like,
- 21:26Speaker 1: you posted that. Fucking if I took that, you would
- 21:28Speaker 1: have heard it. Bla bla blah. She's like, no, I
- 21:29Speaker 1: wouldn't have. Like they like, but look they're good, like
- 21:32Speaker 1: like fuck off. You's like, don't think of look good?
- 21:34Speaker 1: And I'm like, obviously, I think you look. You just
- 21:35Speaker 1: reckon to start taking ten and be like, I think
- 21:38Speaker 1: you look like a ten in all of these. That's
- 21:39Speaker 1: all I'm taking. Put your foot down, mate, put your
- 21:42Speaker 1: foot down. Troubles in Paradise.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Things girls do that should be illegal, but they aren't.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Drinking from the edge of the cup with no straw. Oh,
- 21:56Speaker 2: like actually sipping a cup.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I've never ever seen do that. In the while. Bet
- 22:00Speaker 1: has like fifty straws in a drawer for even which
- 22:02Speaker 1: has like a glass. If we go out and I
- 22:04Speaker 1: go get drinks and I don't come back with a straw,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I've got to go back up. You got a second trip, Yeah,
- 22:09Speaker 1: go to go back and get them. I'm like, oh, sick,
- 22:13Speaker 1: Like get what you give it. Things girls do that
- 22:16Speaker 1: should be illegal. But they aren't wearing ugs as normal shoes. Yeah.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I don't know why, but I hate it. I don't
- 22:21Speaker 1: like it either out of the house. I don't think
- 22:23Speaker 1: you should wear hug They're slippers. Yeah, they are. Ugs
- 22:27Speaker 1: are slippers, and they're like most of the girls wear
- 22:30Speaker 1: those platform ones that are good for your ankles. You're
- 22:32Speaker 1: going to roll an ankle here or there the more
- 22:34Speaker 1: shopping you do with them. I saw someone rock up
- 22:36Speaker 1: through the gym in some the other day. That was
- 22:37Speaker 1: my line, that was your line. Yeah, no, I agree, yea,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I fully agree. I think that.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Also, they're slippers and they're made to make your feet warm.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Your feet get warm and a bit sweaty, and normal shoes.
- 22:48Speaker 2: When those things stink, they have to smell like absolute.
- 22:52Speaker 1: As they got those those hogs in on my air.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I say, fucking stops match if they were't wearing socks.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Things girls do that should be illegal, but they aren't.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Let you cook and just say nothing that no tips,
- 23:05Speaker 1: nothing that would be nice. Things girls do that should
- 23:13Speaker 1: be illegal, but they aren't. Kill spiders. No, you can't
- 23:17Speaker 1: talk either, mate, You just wish all the spiders would die. Mate,
- 23:23Speaker 1: You're more scared than most girls I've ever met. I
- 23:27Speaker 1: I fucking hate them. Oh do you come get this spider?
- 23:29Speaker 1: I fucking hate them. Is your sister just as bad
- 23:32Speaker 1: as you? Worse, really worse.
- 23:35Speaker 2: One time she called me, so it's inherited. She face
- 23:37Speaker 2: timed me.
- 23:37Speaker 1: All right. She was at the wool Worst Errana parking lot.
- 23:41Speaker 2: She opened her back door to put her groceries in there,
- 23:42Speaker 2: and there was a Huntsman member of this big Yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 2: It was like in in like not in the car,
- 23:47Speaker 2: but in where the door closes, right, And she facetimed
- 23:50Speaker 2: me and she's like, Jake, there's a spider like right here.
- 23:52Speaker 1: What do I do? And I was like kill it?
- 23:55Speaker 1: And she's like no, I'm not. I can't get hear it.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I can't go near it.
- 23:57Speaker 2: And then she said like people are just walking passed
- 24:00Speaker 2: and not helping me. And I was like I wouldn't
- 24:01Speaker 2: help anyone either, seriously, and so like I.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Look like she's got a broken leg or something.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I was like, it's just and so I saw where
- 24:09Speaker 2: it was and I was like, look, if you slammed
- 24:10Speaker 2: the door shut quickly right now, it's going to close
- 24:13Speaker 2: and seal and the spider because it wasn't inside the seal.
- 24:16Speaker 2: So I said, close it and it'll just it'll still.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Be there when you get home.
- 24:19Speaker 2: And so when she got home, she called me, and
- 24:21Speaker 2: I went up to the driveway and I opened it
- 24:24Speaker 2: and it was there.
- 24:25Speaker 1: And so I killed it for her. And so I
- 24:28Speaker 1: did do it like I was okay, like because she
- 24:30Speaker 1: was more scared than me. But like, if you were there,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I would have made you. But she was shipping her
- 24:36Speaker 1: pants things girls do that should be illegal. But I
- 24:38Speaker 1: aren't go a full year without getting something done to
- 24:41Speaker 1: their hair. No, I can't have them, no way. My
- 24:44Speaker 1: girlfriend's at the hair dresses right now. Yeah, yeah, always
- 24:48Speaker 1: getting a tint, Say should I get a haircut? Should
- 24:51Speaker 1: I do this? Should I do that? They can't live
- 24:53Speaker 1: with the hair they have for a full year, not
- 24:54Speaker 1: at all. Get bobs in at the moment. Who wants
- 24:57Speaker 1: a bob front fringes were in last thing about The
- 24:59Speaker 1: thing about getting haircut short is like the commitment to
- 25:03Speaker 1: if you don't like it, you're fucked for like eight months.
- 25:07Speaker 1: It is pretty bad. It's crazy. It's being a girl.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Like we get a bad haircut, two three weeks, we're back,
- 25:12Speaker 1: We're back, to normal. They get a bad haircut two
- 25:14Speaker 1: three months.
- 25:15Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, is like, just don't play risky
- 25:17Speaker 2: games with your hair because if you hate it, I.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Don't want it to be my problem. Okay, my last one.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Things girls do that should be illegal, but they aren't
- 25:28Speaker 1: going a full week without asking us a hypothetical question
- 25:31Speaker 1: to test our love for them. The girls like have
- 25:36Speaker 1: like this unwritten rule that they have to do that.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It's a good question. They must because they all do it.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It's just universal for some reason. It's weird and all
- 25:43Speaker 1: the questions are like tricks and they're good. They all
- 25:47Speaker 1: like they have like they must have a community group
- 25:48Speaker 1: on Facebook or something, or there's one you're like asking
- 25:51Speaker 1: my question, my both a new question.
- 25:53Speaker 2: There's a group on Facebook called Tea Time and I've
- 25:57Speaker 2: tried to enter it, I think four times, but I
- 26:00Speaker 2: get denied because I'm a guy.
- 26:01Speaker 1: What if you change your status on Facebook? He's that
- 26:06Speaker 1: bad to do? Well, here's the thing is Time? What
- 26:08Speaker 1: is it? It's like I think it's Australia.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yeah, And basically they just like a lot of people
- 26:16Speaker 2: send in anonymous like confessions and Beth's in it and
- 26:21Speaker 2: just read me some and they're fucking brilliant.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Trying to join four times.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I've tried to join, like at least four times. Yeah,
- 26:27Speaker 2: and every time it just like nothing happens. And then
- 26:30Speaker 2: I go to join again and I can join again.
- 26:32Speaker 2: So that means obviously they've denied me. So I don't
- 26:35Speaker 2: think any dudes are allowed to be in it.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I want to make an alien's account. I sort to
- 26:40Speaker 1: say that I did it because I was like, content
- 26:42Speaker 1: is so funny. Yeah, so I might in the group
- 26:45Speaker 1: listening send us some good ones. Oh yeah, wonder if
- 26:47Speaker 1: anyone listening to this is it's got like hundreds of
- 26:51Speaker 1: thousands of people in the back they have to be
- 26:52Speaker 1: Why won't they just let me be in? We love
- 26:54Speaker 1: the tea. Yeah, don't you have to write like a
- 26:56Speaker 1: brief description when you're into it? Just be like, hey, guys,
- 26:59Speaker 1: I'm Jake from the Reliable Podcasts. I love to learn
- 27:02Speaker 1: about all the tea and gos's going on. I bet
- 27:03Speaker 1: you that's one reason not to have me across my
- 27:12Speaker 1: fingers not to tell anyone.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I swear, I swear I won't put it on my podcast,
- 27:29Speaker 3: all right, Jake.
- 27:29Speaker 1: We often talk about like mood and actually in the
- 27:32Speaker 1: intro we talked about the things that were affecting my
- 27:34Speaker 1: mood and other people sort of out of my control,
- 27:38Speaker 1: and I thought it was an interesting thing to sort
- 27:41Speaker 1: of bring up and learn how to be more conscious
- 27:44Speaker 1: of your surroundings to get better at like your mood
- 27:47Speaker 1: so you get less unhappy and angry. I obviously need
- 27:49Speaker 1: to work on a little bit, evidently from all the
- 27:51Speaker 1: things going on in the environment. So I've come to
- 27:53Speaker 1: you with a couple of things that sort of subconsciously
- 27:56Speaker 1: affect your mood and you might not be knowing about it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Oh okay, cool, yep. So the first one is a
- 28:02Speaker 1: big one that I think most people sleep on, which
- 28:05Speaker 1: is food. True. Yeah, even subconsciously, I just do it,
- 28:11Speaker 1: Just eat some food and think I'm gonna have energy
- 28:13Speaker 1: throughout the day, and then an hour later, I'll be
- 28:15Speaker 1: like angry or unhappy and I'll be like, fuck, why
- 28:17Speaker 1: Mom's such a shit day, and then I ate like
- 28:19Speaker 1: a pack of chips an hour ago. That's actually such
- 28:21Speaker 1: a good point. And even also like quality of food, Yeah,
- 28:24Speaker 1: it is like quality goes a long way, like quality
- 28:26Speaker 1: of meat, quality of vegetables that you're not buying like
- 28:28Speaker 1: that does some come come something not buying the worst
- 28:31Speaker 1: quality food?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's an interesting one. Actually, I've never even like
- 28:35Speaker 2: once thought if I've been in a bad mood and
- 28:38Speaker 2: I haven't eaten anything, I've obviously been like, oh's because
- 28:40Speaker 2: I haven't eaten. Yeah, But if i've been if I
- 28:42Speaker 2: can't put my finger on why something's wrong with me,
- 28:44Speaker 2: I don't like ever think maybe it's.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I've been catching myself out recently, Like I take I
- 28:50Speaker 1: walk because I got sick a little bit, like with
- 28:51Speaker 1: weird things going on my body. So it'd stripped back
- 28:53Speaker 1: my dig a little bit, and like what's making me
- 28:55Speaker 1: feel this way? And why am I feeling lethargic and sad? Yeah? Yeah,
- 28:58Speaker 1: And it was like carbs and stuff. Carves do that too,
- 29:01Speaker 1: Like you get too many carbs and you says it's weird.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Yeah, having a good balance of just yeah the main
- 29:05Speaker 2: you know, carbs, fat, proteins. Yeah, having the main balance
- 29:08Speaker 2: is like crazy.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And so the first one is obviously food. I've got three,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and the last one is probably the one that affects
- 29:13Speaker 1: me the most. The next one is like sort of
- 29:16Speaker 1: out of your control. So it's sort of like learning
- 29:18Speaker 1: to go of the flow, which is the environment. Yep, people, jobs,
- 29:22Speaker 1: even the weather, yeah, affects you without you knowing, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: you're just like can't figure out why you're sad or
- 29:27Speaker 1: anything out of everything.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I do think I'm pretty good at going with the flow.
- 29:32Speaker 2: You are pretty good, Like if some like like even
- 29:35Speaker 2: like a bad driver on the road, Like I'm pissed
- 29:37Speaker 2: off for the second, and then as soon as they're gone,
- 29:39Speaker 2: like I'm fine. Like nothing really affects my mood throughout,
- 29:42Speaker 2: like a full day, but weather, rainy weather. We've had
- 29:46Speaker 2: rain for like a week, I know. I mean, I'm
- 29:48Speaker 2: over it.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I actually do. This is like
- 29:50Speaker 1: a little game I play with myself. When it's a
- 29:52Speaker 1: really bad overcast day, I call them dirty days. That's
- 29:54Speaker 1: why my brother used to call them as a kid.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I'll purposely wear bright and colorful clothes. Ooh, it's not
- 30:00Speaker 1: a bad idea, just to brighten on my day. Because
- 30:01Speaker 1: I was. I always say them.
- 30:03Speaker 2: That's not a bad idea actually, because so the weather.
- 30:05Speaker 2: My house has terrible lighting, and so when there's a
- 30:10Speaker 2: nice sunny day, it feels great in there, I think.
- 30:14Speaker 2: But when there's shitty weather and it's not a nice
- 30:15Speaker 2: sunny day, no matter. I could put every light on
- 30:17Speaker 2: in the house and.
- 30:18Speaker 1: It just doesn't feel good. Yeah, he literally feels like shit. Ah,
- 30:22Speaker 1: And these things affect your mood, simple things like lighting it. Yeah. Yeah, Actually,
- 30:25Speaker 1: yesterday morning I was having like.
- 30:26Speaker 2: A little bout of anxiety, and I don't know what
- 30:29Speaker 2: I did to fix it, but it did eventually go away.
- 30:32Speaker 1: But I remember it was like from probably like.
- 30:36Speaker 2: What time did you come over yesterday, or like a
- 30:39Speaker 2: little bit before that it went away, like a bit
- 30:41Speaker 2: before that it went away. But for a while there,
- 30:44Speaker 2: I was just like I was like trying to like edit,
- 30:46Speaker 2: I was trying to like fucking get into it, and
- 30:50Speaker 2: I couldn't like bring myself to to watch the footage,
- 30:54Speaker 2: and and I was like hating it, Like I was
- 30:57Speaker 2: hating the footage.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I was. I was like, you know, I was hating
- 31:00Speaker 1: it too. I wonder if it was actually the footage
- 31:02Speaker 1: or the weather, because it's been such a bad way.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I hated the episode. I was probably editing at the
- 31:05Speaker 1: same time.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Because I was I was like, and I was like,
- 31:07Speaker 2: didn't really was any of that.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Good that we didn't hit And and then but after
- 31:14Speaker 1: the feeling went away, I did like it, so I
- 31:17Speaker 1: don't know. Interesting. I wonder if it is an environmental factor,
- 31:21Speaker 1: like cause it's been terrible. It's been so overclass. It
- 31:23Speaker 1: feels like we're in England for last week. I know. Yeah,
- 31:25Speaker 1: and it's just like it's kind of like stepping away
- 31:27Speaker 1: like you did and thinking like, fuck, is it actually
- 31:29Speaker 1: bad or is it my surroundings that's making me think
- 31:31Speaker 1: it's bad.
- 31:33Speaker 2: That's a good question because it also makes you think
- 31:34Speaker 2: like if something like that, like if we aren't enjoying
- 31:38Speaker 2: something that we love, because like we we love our job, Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 2: if we aren't enjoying it, and like I'm like, ugh,
- 31:45Speaker 2: I wonder what does it feel like? I remember waking
- 31:48Speaker 2: up on days where I wasn't in a great mood
- 31:50Speaker 2: to go be a carpenter.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Fuck, wouldn't want to have been around me that day. God,
- 31:54Speaker 1: it was shit. I know exactly what you mean. Even
- 31:56Speaker 1: when you're doing like little task ren house or something
- 31:58Speaker 1: like that, and you're like, does someone to do that
- 31:59Speaker 1: you give become in such a bad mood if you
- 32:01Speaker 1: have to go shopping or something.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Yeah, everything seems like such a big ask. Like I
- 32:04Speaker 2: was like, this is debilitating. I was like I can't
- 32:06Speaker 2: physically watch this. It was like, what the fuck is this?
- 32:09Speaker 1: It's funny stepping away and realizing it was so weird.
- 32:12Speaker 1: And my last one, I actually have a it's actually
- 32:16Speaker 1: a diagnosis. It can be. It's called have you heard
- 32:19Speaker 1: of emotional contagion? No, this is actually why I think
- 32:24Speaker 1: we get along so well. So it's the tendency to
- 32:26Speaker 1: catch another person's feelings or to stress catch with someone's
- 32:30Speaker 1: negative mood that's affecting you.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Fuck.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Yeah, so if we're both in a bad mood one day,
- 32:35Speaker 1: episode's gonna be shit. Yeah. No, But I think I
- 32:39Speaker 1: think we work well because we sort of like get
- 32:41Speaker 1: each other and we vibe on the same energies. But
- 32:42Speaker 1: I've definitely been around people. It happened in like workplaces
- 32:45Speaker 1: where there's a lot of people like someone's energy like
- 32:48Speaker 1: you just like ugh, like you don't want it?
- 32:51Speaker 2: God, I feel you there is like if there is
- 32:55Speaker 2: people that I do, I kind of don't like being around. Yeah, Sam,
- 32:59Speaker 2: to be honest, like someone that is ah just kind
- 33:04Speaker 2: of I guess a little bit pessimistic.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Yeah about the world. I think the world's out to
- 33:09Speaker 1: get them or something. Yeah, I don't know. That's a
- 33:11Speaker 1: funny one. Actually, I actually had a funny experience. It's
- 33:15Speaker 1: a bit holistic. When I was on mushrooms. Oh yeah,
- 33:19Speaker 1: so one of the things that happened. Don't condone doing mushrooms,
- 33:22Speaker 1: but if you want to do it, need your own
- 33:23Speaker 1: safety to research as you will. But I was doing them,
- 33:26Speaker 1: and I was in like a big group setting. It
- 33:28Speaker 1: was actually ended up being a party setting. But what
- 33:31Speaker 1: happened was I could see people's Some people were very
- 33:36Speaker 1: bright and vibrant, heaps of nice colors coming off and
- 33:38Speaker 1: red's yellows, everything like that. And then other people who
- 33:43Speaker 1: looked kind of sad were really dark and showing like
- 33:46Speaker 1: blues and blacks, really dark navy blues and blacks. And
- 33:50Speaker 1: when I was kind of scared when I was on mushrooms,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I was like, I'm not gone near them. But it, honestly,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I don't know if it was true or not, but
- 33:57Speaker 1: I feel like the mushrooms made me see that those
- 33:59Speaker 1: persons mood or vibe was a very good, so I
- 34:01Speaker 1: stayed away from them, which is sort of this emotional
- 34:03Speaker 1: contagion what we're talking about. You could see their aura, Yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 1: you can see the aura around that, Yeah, exactly, I've
- 34:10Speaker 1: seen a thing where so our hearts they beat and
- 34:16Speaker 1: they we can't hear them, like we've zone everything out.
- 34:20Speaker 1: We're good at that, Like, yeah, that's what our brains do.
- 34:22Speaker 2: But but they do make a noise and so they
- 34:26Speaker 2: beat and they like cause vibrations, and so like around us,
- 34:31Speaker 2: around you and myself is like a little I guess
- 34:35Speaker 2: zone of vibrations. I don't know, really, I saw this
- 34:38Speaker 2: thing and it was like breaking it down. It made
- 34:40Speaker 2: sense to me, and and someone goes, and this could
- 34:43Speaker 2: be They didn't say this is, but they were like,
- 34:46Speaker 2: and this could be the reason why some people when
- 34:49Speaker 2: you're next to them, if you meet a new person
- 34:51Speaker 2: straight away, you know if you're gonna gel with them,
- 34:55Speaker 2: or because you're like sometimes your vibes are beating at
- 34:59Speaker 2: the same rate. It's yeah, like so you and me
- 35:00Speaker 2: could have a vibe that beats to like a very
- 35:02Speaker 2: similar rate, and then sometimes someone else could come into play.
- 35:06Speaker 2: You meet a new person and yours just doesn't and
- 35:11Speaker 2: it doesn't match up with theirs at all, like it
- 35:12Speaker 2: doesn't even attempt it or something like that.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Actually, yeah, and so that's.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Why you don't know or that's why you just like
- 35:18Speaker 2: don't gel with that person, and you know straight away.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You don't click. How weird is that? A I foind
- 35:22Speaker 1: that very interesting. That makes sense to me too, And
- 35:24Speaker 1: I was like, that honestly does make sense because you
- 35:26Speaker 1: come away from talking to people like fuck, I didn't
- 35:29Speaker 1: like that person or I didn't jail with them at all,
- 35:30Speaker 1: and then you come away over it like that was
- 35:31Speaker 1: a really nice person. Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 2: But at the same time, it's like, I'm sure I've
- 35:35Speaker 2: met people when I'm not in a great mood and
- 35:37Speaker 2: just like not giving them the time.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Your vibrations are probably bad.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so my vibrations might be bad that day, and
- 35:42Speaker 2: then maybe if they meet me a second time, I'm
- 35:44Speaker 2: a better mood.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Yeah, my vibrations are better. But growing up I never vibration.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Growing up, I never realized like how much like your
- 35:53Speaker 1: mood affects like everything going on in your life and stuff.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I don't know. I just thought it was like so
- 35:57Speaker 1: such smooth sailing, and it was just like funny different
- 36:00Speaker 1: things that affect and there's way more than the list
- 36:02Speaker 1: I just had. Oh fuck, yeah, yeah, I'm also I'm
- 36:05Speaker 1: I feel like I'm pretty lucky. I I find it
- 36:08Speaker 1: easier to be happy, then I find it to be upset.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But some people are the complete opposite. They find it
- 36:16Speaker 1: easier to be upset than they do to be happy,
- 36:18Speaker 1: which is tough, which is fuck. I feel a bit
- 36:20Speaker 1: bad man, Yeah, and that's that's what everyone has, like
- 36:24Speaker 1: sad times, but it's just so much easier to be
- 36:26Speaker 1: sad and depressed. It feels like so much effort to
- 36:28Speaker 1: be happy. Yeah, your body's just like funck. I want
- 36:30Speaker 1: to do anything. I just want to lay down watching
- 36:32Speaker 1: Netflix on my phone. I just want to be sad,
- 36:35Speaker 1: which is relatable, but that's like something maybe I was
- 36:38Speaker 1: naive growing up, bro, I just thought everyone was such
- 36:40Speaker 1: rainbow smooth sailing sometimes. Yeah, it's just it's funny realizing it.
- 36:44Speaker 1: It's weird, all right, Jake, I know you've been putting
- 36:53Speaker 1: on a brave face this whole episode. It's okay to
- 36:56Speaker 1: let it out now, fortunately for him, but fortunately for me.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Oh I'm going on a holiday, yes, back to Bali.
- 37:06Speaker 1: But what that means for everyone listening is after this
- 37:09Speaker 1: episode there's going to be a two week break on
- 37:12Speaker 1: Spotify and Apple podcasts. But you might be thinking, how
- 37:16Speaker 1: do I get my fix of Addie and Jake on
- 37:18Speaker 1: the Relatable. You mean you're not posting for two weeks.

- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I am not sure. I haven't fully thought about it,
- 37:40Speaker 1: and I have been trying not to think about it bad.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It's gonna be a tough time, but I hope you
- 37:47Speaker 2: have fun. Thanks man, But thank you guys so very
