- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley Eye Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: This is Bachelor Episode seven recap on the Almost Famous Podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: We have so much to talk about when it comes
- 0:14Speaker 2: to the highly anticipated episode where we had six incredible
- 0:17Speaker 2: women left with our amazing Bachelor.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Joey, Amazing Bachelor, love, and more amazing Bachelor.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Some would say he isn't what they've been making headlines for,
- 0:30Speaker 2: maybe saying he is amazing. But I would say this,
- 0:34Speaker 2: I think we know as much about Joey as we
- 0:39Speaker 2: know about any bachelor. Like we know what he likes
- 0:42Speaker 2: as a hobby, we know where he's from, we know
- 0:46Speaker 2: that he's good looking, we know that he cares. Like
- 0:49Speaker 2: we don't usually know that much about a bachelor, bachelor
- 0:53Speaker 2: if we're really honest, and I think we know as much.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Maybe that's all he's got. Maybe he's got some cool hobbies.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Maybe he's got some desire to find a partner. Uh,
- 1:02Speaker 2: maybe he has a desire to explore a little bit
- 1:06Speaker 2: with this partner. And honestly, like, if somebody's like been
- 1:08Speaker 2: explaining your life, that might be about all I got.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I got a few hobbies, I got a great wife,
- 1:13Speaker 2: I got a dog and I work like that's you
- 1:16Speaker 2: know what, Like that's about all you got. Anyways, he
- 1:21Speaker 2: I think he's killing it. So we were very anticipatory
- 1:26Speaker 2: about the the who would be there in the final four.
- 1:29Speaker 2: There was a little shocker to me, honestly, but we'll
- 1:32Speaker 2: talk about that later. To start, I got a DM
- 1:35Speaker 2: from an almost famous listener who asked us to talk
- 1:38Speaker 2: about something. Uh And I was unaware of this something
- 1:43Speaker 2: until the DM came in, So thank you for sending
- 1:45Speaker 2: that DM. You know who you are. And I don't
- 1:47Speaker 2: want to say your name on the on the podcast
- 1:49Speaker 2: because I did not get your permission to do that,
- 1:50Speaker 2: but you know who you are. The conversation is about
- 1:54Speaker 2: Britney Spears, and this is the headline. Britney Spears is
- 2:01Speaker 2: one of us. A Ben Smith fan. Now Ben Smith
- 2:05Speaker 2: was on a couple of seasons ago over the Bachelorette.
- 2:08Speaker 2: We don't hear a lot from him these days. But
- 2:14Speaker 2: here's the situation, Ashley, and you've got to help me
- 2:16Speaker 2: understand what's going on. Britney Spears, like reposted his picture
- 2:21Speaker 2: on her Instagram.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Well it's Brittany, so it's kind of hard to figure
- 2:28Speaker 3: out what's going on with her.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Sometimes.
- 2:31Speaker 3: So what she did was she posted a picture of Yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 3: she supposed a picture of Ben standing outside of a sauna,
- 2:40Speaker 3: like one of those portable saunas, and then Brittany said
- 2:45Speaker 3: in the caption, I want a hot sauna in my house,
- 2:49Speaker 3: and then there's the photo emoji and then she acts
- 2:52Speaker 3: Ben at Ben v Smith. Now there's lots of things
- 2:57Speaker 3: that could be going on here. The juiciest for us
- 3:00Speaker 3: us would be if Brittany took this photo of Ben
- 3:03Speaker 3: standing outside the sauna and somehow they have some personal relationship,
- 3:08Speaker 3: whether that's him coaching her physically or friendship or otherwise
- 3:14Speaker 3: fitness coaching.
- 3:15Speaker 2: By the way, yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Well he's a fitness coach. He also is like a
- 3:19Speaker 3: lifestyle like like health coach.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Yeah. So it could have been that, or it could
- 3:26Speaker 4: be like a lot less.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Juicy, and it could just be Brittany being like kind
- 3:30Speaker 3: of like Brittany randomly screenshotting a picture of a random
- 3:35Speaker 3: man outside of standing outside of a sauna and then
- 3:40Speaker 3: just she did that because she just wanted to tell
- 3:43Speaker 3: her audience that she also wants a hot sauna in
- 3:46Speaker 3: her house.
- 3:49Speaker 4: You be the judge. That's all we know. Does Brittany
- 3:52Speaker 4: fall I don't then we see it. Let me see
- 3:54Speaker 4: she follow I mean.
- 3:56Speaker 2: This situation is wild to me because it is it
- 4:00Speaker 2: is an unexpected bachelor person, right. Ben Smith was a
- 4:03Speaker 2: big name, but we just haven't heard from him, so
- 4:06Speaker 2: it's not like he's stayed in the headlines. He's kind
- 4:08Speaker 2: of gone off and did his own thing when it
- 4:10Speaker 2: comes to fitness and health after the show.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Doesn't follow him.
- 4:15Speaker 2: So she doesn't follow Ben Smith. Somehow she saw a
- 4:19Speaker 2: picture of Ben Smith or a saana.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, she probably just looked up sauna, saw a hot
- 4:27Speaker 3: guy in front of a sauna, screenshot it and was like,
- 4:30Speaker 3: this feels nice because Brittany loves to just take random
- 4:34Speaker 3: pictures from the internet. She's always done this, Like I'm
- 4:38Speaker 3: scrolling through right now and here's just some you know,
- 4:41Speaker 3: floral landscapes, and like, look, look at this screenshot of
- 4:47Speaker 3: just little cupids. Like she probably just screenshot it, not
- 4:52Speaker 3: having any clue that this guy at one point was
- 4:56Speaker 3: kind of famous.
- 5:00Speaker 2: So Brittany just likes to keep us guessing, is what
- 5:03Speaker 2: you're saying. Yeah, okay, uh, well that's that. That's all
- 5:08Speaker 2: we have. That's as much as we could find. We
- 5:11Speaker 2: did dig into this situation for everybody to try to
- 5:14Speaker 2: give a little more explanation. But I feel like we
- 5:16Speaker 2: gave his the best explanation that anybody can have right now, because.
- 5:21Speaker 4: We could just call then does anybody have his number?
- 5:27Speaker 2: I think what the best all we need right here
- 5:30Speaker 2: is if possible, if one of us could text Ben
- 5:34Speaker 2: Smith and ask for some clarity and we can read
- 5:39Speaker 2: that text online.
- 5:41Speaker 4: I'll just do it right now.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Yeah, just as we're going through.
- 5:44Speaker 4: We're to let him know on ones and on Wednesday
- 5:46Speaker 4: we'll let you guys know. Yeah, Okay.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I felt weird dming him in the first place because
- 5:52Speaker 3: I'm sure his entire in like his mailbox must be
- 5:56Speaker 3: just nuts, and I didn't want to infringe on like
- 6:01Speaker 3: any privacy in case he was like, I.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Hope he has no idea why his picture was posted, Like,
- 6:05Speaker 2: I hope he's just like what he's going to say.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I hope that's the case. Well, sorry that we didn't
- 6:12Speaker 2: have more details in here. We did work for it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: We did reach out to Ben Smith. We will continue
- 6:16Speaker 2: to reach out to Ben Smith to get more details
- 6:19Speaker 2: on this situation. But thank you for for always listeners
- 6:22Speaker 2: bringing up situations that you want to hear us kind
- 6:24Speaker 2: of investigate and dive into We will do as best
- 6:27Speaker 2: we can. We promise you that. Okay, let's start with
- 6:32Speaker 2: episode seven of The Bachelor. There in Jasper, Canada, another
- 6:37Speaker 2: breathtakingly beautiful place. I am so excited to watch this
- 6:40Speaker 2: episode because it reminds me of my home in Evergreen, Colorado,
- 6:45Speaker 2: but it also is just such a gorgeous place to
- 6:51Speaker 2: fall in love, as they like to say it is.
- 6:54Speaker 2: There's elk, there's clear water, there are mountains and beauty
- 6:59Speaker 2: and fresh share. This episode for me is an exciting
- 7:03Speaker 2: one because, as we mentioned last week, there's six women left,
- 7:08Speaker 2: and we know all six women, and we like all
- 7:10Speaker 2: six women, and we don't know going into this episode
- 7:14Speaker 2: exactly who is gonna be going home. We had our predictions, Ashley,
- 7:19Speaker 2: we have the people that we think he has the
- 7:21Speaker 2: best connections with, but quite honestly, any two going home
- 7:26Speaker 2: this week was not only gonna be a little sad
- 7:28Speaker 2: to me because I like all of them, but also
- 7:30Speaker 2: at some level shocking, Yeah, oh yeah.
- 7:34Speaker 4: They're all gonna I think they're all gonna be like,
- 7:37Speaker 4: oh so that's the one he chose to do it.
- 7:39Speaker 2: They're all like it is a wild time in the
- 7:42Speaker 2: Bachelor world because for the first time in a long time,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I think, really the top eight we can say, hey,
- 7:48Speaker 2: we knew the top six, we fell in love with,
- 7:51Speaker 2: Top four were emotionally invested in. In the bottom two,
- 7:54Speaker 2: we're just gonna be really confused by because we don't
- 7:56Speaker 2: know who he's gonna choose and how this is going
- 7:58Speaker 2: to play out.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm so excited about getting into this next chapter.
- 8:07Speaker 3: I feel like it's like almost like a whole new
- 8:09Speaker 3: season when you get to top four.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Can I remind everybody yea that they're halfway through filming
- 8:16Speaker 2: right now. Like I say that every year.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I know now they're halfway, so like that, that's how
- 8:21Speaker 3: much these girls are going to get more time with him.
- 8:24Speaker 2: That's why you see like all this. You'll never see
- 8:27Speaker 2: the complaints of one on one dates again because those
- 8:30Speaker 2: well everybody gets one on ones now. But I just
- 8:32Speaker 2: want to be clear. I say this every year, but
- 8:34Speaker 2: I think it's one of the most interesting parts. Even
- 8:36Speaker 2: when I was on the show was up until Hometowns.
- 8:41Speaker 2: That's halfway through filming. Now the rest of filming exists now,
- 8:45Speaker 2: So as much many episodes of you've seen seven episodes
- 8:49Speaker 2: has been filmed. Now we'll see as much time being
- 8:52Speaker 2: spent on the final four.
- 8:55Speaker 4: It's so fun. I love this time of year, and
- 8:58Speaker 4: I specifically love this time of year because Joey is
- 9:01Speaker 4: such a fad bachelor. So let's go through the dates
- 9:04Speaker 4: this week. There's gonna be two one on ones and
- 9:07Speaker 4: then a group date with four of them on there.
- 9:09Speaker 3: The first one on one goes to Daisy. It's all
- 9:13Speaker 3: about you know it's that was the first date. They
- 9:17Speaker 3: haven't had like such quality time since Is it still there?
- 9:21Speaker 4: How's everyone feeling?
- 9:24Speaker 3: And they had a really perfect date when it comes
- 9:27Speaker 3: to Jasper Canada. They ice skated, they went on horseback,
- 9:34Speaker 3: they had an outdoor hot tub, they had a cute
- 9:37Speaker 3: cozy dinner. It was all wonderful and their chemistry was
- 9:43Speaker 3: one still there. What was like the big topic to
- 9:48Speaker 3: discuss during this was that Daisy admitted she's not follow
- 9:53Speaker 3: She's she's not fallen in love with him yet, She's
- 9:56Speaker 3: not there. She likes him a lot, and I think
- 9:58Speaker 3: that was just real like that I was like, Okay, yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 3: this girl's just she's she's keeping her head on. She's
- 10:06Speaker 3: a little bit slower than some of the others, but
- 10:09Speaker 3: I just like love the way that she was just like,
- 10:11Speaker 3: this is my situation.
- 10:13Speaker 2: There's a difference too, when like somebody says that and
- 10:18Speaker 2: you get the sense that they're kind of questioning the relationship.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I think for what's happening that's different here is Daisy
- 10:26Speaker 2: is validating that she cares deeply about him and wants
- 10:30Speaker 2: to be there to pursue this in every other way,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and I'm with you. I I think it's weird almost
- 10:37Speaker 2: when it's too early on and they're like, I'm in
- 10:39Speaker 2: love with you. Yeah, I think that you might be
- 10:42Speaker 2: feeling certain ways like.
- 10:44Speaker 3: You have a massive crush, you know, but if you
- 10:47Speaker 3: exactly go on like one real date with somebody.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a genuineness though to the Daisy Joey situation,
- 10:55Speaker 2: where it's like this is just authentic, and I think
- 10:57Speaker 2: they both understand the authenticity behind it. It's I don't
- 11:00Speaker 2: know if it scares. We keep getting clips of Joey
- 11:04Speaker 2: saying one of his biggest fears is that somebody will
- 11:06Speaker 2: leave him at the end, and it kind of feels
- 11:08Speaker 2: like they're leading up to something that I don't know
- 11:10Speaker 2: if it exists or not, but I think there's like
- 11:15Speaker 2: a trust and an authenticity and understanding. It feels like
- 11:18Speaker 2: between Daisy and Joey, and that might be where their
- 11:23Speaker 2: chemistry even lies, is that they just have such a
- 11:25Speaker 2: better understanding everybody else. There's not a question about what
- 11:28Speaker 2: their pursuits are, their desires are. It's a it's different
- 11:35Speaker 2: because they're just more real in front of each other totally.
- 11:39Speaker 3: And when she tells him this, he seems like a
- 11:44Speaker 3: little bit jarred by it. But I'd like to know.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I'd like to ask Joey, would you have said to
- 11:51Speaker 3: her like, I'm falling in love with you?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh, I think I think Joey's pretty I think
- 11:58Speaker 2: he is. I think Joey is really into today'sy, and
- 12:02Speaker 2: he has been since the beginning. I don't know what
- 12:03Speaker 2: he would say when it comes emotionally, he might be
- 12:08Speaker 2: feeling very similar. Again, they haven't got a lot of time,
- 12:11Speaker 2: but this was a great date. The big storyline at
- 12:14Speaker 2: this point, though, comes in where Jen doesn't get the
- 12:18Speaker 2: one on one date she wants. I feel like this
- 12:22Speaker 2: should have been a sign for Jen that this wasn't
- 12:26Speaker 2: going to work out at the end, But still kind
- 12:29Speaker 2: of shocking to me that she didn't get a one
- 12:31Speaker 2: on one date. I really wanted her to get this
- 12:33Speaker 2: week's date.
- 12:34Speaker 4: She seemed to more do for one than Kelsey.
- 12:39Speaker 2: When was the last time she had a one on one? Jen?
- 12:41Speaker 4: Jen? Like second week of dates? So week three, I
- 12:45Speaker 4: think it's been a long time.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yeah, And we just had a date with Kelsey two
- 12:50Speaker 3: weeks ago and it felt really great. And I think
- 12:53Speaker 3: he just wanted to hang out with Kelsey. He just
- 12:55Speaker 3: wanted the time. And I think with Jen it could
- 12:58Speaker 3: have been more useful, you know, because maybe it seemed
- 13:02Speaker 3: to have gone swung it one way or the other,
- 13:04Speaker 3: like more like more sturdy feeling and letting her go.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Perhaps it was well not to like jump a hat,
- 13:12Speaker 3: but like when he let her go, I was kind
- 13:14Speaker 3: of like sad that.
- 13:16Speaker 4: The two of them just walked out and like he
- 13:18Speaker 4: didn't like have like a.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Special moment with either of them, because I felt like
- 13:21Speaker 3: those two deserved it.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I will say that maybe isn't a critique of Joey
- 13:26Speaker 2: as much as it was. Maybe he couldn't even control it.
- 13:31Speaker 2: But at this point in time, I do think Rose
- 13:34Speaker 2: ceremonies are a little bit misplaced, especially this week with
- 13:39Speaker 2: the women that were there. It felt like all of
- 13:41Speaker 2: them could have gotten maybe a knock a door, a
- 13:45Speaker 2: knock at the door, or a pulled aside kind of
- 13:48Speaker 2: moment more than a rose ceremony. Yeah, they deserve that,
- 13:53Speaker 2: especially Kelsey t because we did get to see a
- 13:56Speaker 2: lot of her and it felt like the relationship was
- 13:57Speaker 2: going incredibly well. Honestly, but you know, jin like we
- 14:03Speaker 2: had to get to see a lot of gin and
- 14:05Speaker 2: I think we like, I mean, I think we would.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Really liked you see, I think we saw a good
- 14:08Speaker 3: bit of her, but just and I think that he
- 14:11Speaker 3: liked her the whole way through it. This is like
- 14:13Speaker 3: I think both of them really Kelsey too, And.
- 14:16Speaker 4: It's just so hard. It was a hard elimination.
- 14:28Speaker 3: So Daisy's date raps, she gets the rose. Here's one
- 14:32Speaker 3: thing my sister and I were discussing because I guess,
- 14:37Speaker 3: like we're just thinking about from our family's perspective, we.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Don't find it to be like a huge We we were.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Thinking about hometowns and like, I don't know if this
- 14:46Speaker 3: sounds bad, but like we wouldn't.
- 14:48Speaker 4: We don't find it to be a huge deal to
- 14:50Speaker 4: introduce somebody to our family because it's like a person,
- 14:54Speaker 4: and it's like a person you care about, and it's
- 14:56Speaker 4: like when you introduce somebody to your family, do you
- 15:00Speaker 4: think that it needs to be somebody that you're gonna
- 15:02Speaker 4: be with forever? M Like, I don't know.
- 15:07Speaker 3: We just felt like sometimes, like with the girls, it's
- 15:09Speaker 3: too big of a deal, Like there's so many people
- 15:12Speaker 3: use it as like like a front, like like, oh,
- 15:15Speaker 3: I don't know, like it's a big deal, Like I
- 15:18Speaker 3: don't know if I'm there yet.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I'm like, but let me just I don't. I think
- 15:22Speaker 2: you're I personally think you're spot on. There's not a
- 15:25Speaker 2: big deal. I just think the format of the show,
- 15:29Speaker 2: knowing that the next time they see their daughter could
- 15:33Speaker 2: potentially be when she's going to be engaged or heartbroken,
- 15:36Speaker 2: puts a different weight to it.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I know.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I mean, my I love my parents. I would introduce
- 15:43Speaker 2: them to a lot of people, Yeah, I wouldn't, you know,
- 15:46Speaker 2: maybe get them excited about some random back in the day.
- 15:52Speaker 2: But you know, anybody I was spending time with, I
- 15:54Speaker 2: wanted them to know and kind of I guess follow
- 15:58Speaker 2: my journey of dating. But if I you know, in
- 16:02Speaker 2: this situation, I do believe it's different because of the
- 16:07Speaker 2: Association that at the end of this my daughter could
- 16:11Speaker 2: be engaged and this is the one and only time
- 16:13Speaker 2: I'm meeting this guy, and what do I say? What
- 16:16Speaker 2: do I do in this moment? It is I've talked
- 16:20Speaker 2: to Joey about this. It is still to this day
- 16:25Speaker 2: one of the most like stressful and that my life
- 16:29Speaker 2: obviously has been pretty good. This has been one of
- 16:33Speaker 2: the most stressful weeks of my life. Hometowns it was
- 16:36Speaker 2: I was sick to my stomach.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Well, that's I understand it totally from the Leeds point
- 16:41Speaker 3: of view, Like there's so much pressure and like, holy shit,
- 16:44Speaker 3: am I leading this whole family on? But like if
- 16:48Speaker 3: you're like it was one of the cast members and
- 16:51Speaker 3: you're one of the four the whole like, but there's
- 16:55Speaker 3: other people going on and like ah, Like I'm just
- 16:59Speaker 3: be like yeah, but like let's bring it on. This
- 17:02Speaker 3: is gonna be so fun.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Yeah. I think you have to have fun with it. Yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I think you just have to Like I think you
- 17:08Speaker 2: just have to have fun with it. I think you
- 17:10Speaker 2: have to have the the energy to just have fun
- 17:13Speaker 2: with it. I don't think you need to put more
- 17:15Speaker 2: pressure on it than it's already going to be there. Yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 2: and it's cool that your face. I mean, for me,
- 17:21Speaker 2: it was cool that my family was going to be
- 17:23Speaker 2: a part. Now I never had a hometown on Caitlyn season,
- 17:26Speaker 2: but it was cool that my family was going to
- 17:27Speaker 2: be a part of this experience and also get to
- 17:30Speaker 2: meet Caitlin at the time, Like that was exciting for me,
- 17:34Speaker 2: and that they would see all these producers that I'd
- 17:37Speaker 2: spent months with at this point and like there's so
- 17:40Speaker 2: much excitement too. Yeah, but I do I mean, could
- 17:45Speaker 2: we say this, Ashley, Like every family has their own
- 17:49Speaker 2: little dance.
- 17:49Speaker 4: They're all different.
- 17:51Speaker 2: So is it maybe that all these women have such
- 17:54Speaker 2: close ties to their family that they're like, I know
- 17:57Speaker 2: they care about me so much that this is to
- 18:00Speaker 2: ultimately be really hard on them. And I know that
- 18:02Speaker 2: they're not going to have fun with this. Like maybe
- 18:05Speaker 2: all of them kind of have the same family.
- 18:08Speaker 3: It's just different family vibes, I guess, because like I
- 18:11Speaker 3: know that if I brought like the bachelor home, my
- 18:14Speaker 3: mom would like be like peeing her pants, Like there's
- 18:17Speaker 3: nothing more exciting in this world than like that happening
- 18:20Speaker 3: to my mom. Like back in the day, Yeah, we
- 18:24Speaker 3: definitely had like a hometown date and she was like,
- 18:28Speaker 3: oh my god, my mom ate up our like quote
- 18:30Speaker 3: hometown date when Jared came over for the first time. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 3: I think I dropped somebody off at the airport. I
- 18:35Speaker 3: was like in the basement or something, and my mom
- 18:37Speaker 3: like sat down with Jared and she was like, so
- 18:40Speaker 3: do you think that like maybe down the road, Like,
- 18:43Speaker 3: my mom loves this stuff. So I just think of
- 18:46Speaker 3: it too personally from like my background, I.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Think, yeah, there's emotion involved.
- 18:51Speaker 4: My dad would be like, why would you want to
- 18:54Speaker 4: be with her? Do you know how much she is
- 18:56Speaker 4: to handle? To save yourself run now?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Yeah, see he's a smart man. See, there's just different
- 19:03Speaker 2: emotions dynamics. I think all of these women have already
- 19:07Speaker 2: told us stories about why their families matter too. I
- 19:09Speaker 2: think that it's a unique dynamic that we don't always hear. Also,
- 19:11Speaker 2: all of the women that are left have told us
- 19:14Speaker 2: reasons why their family are either very connected or maybe
- 19:18Speaker 2: a little disconnected. Another thing I've appreciated about this season
- 19:24Speaker 2: is the insight into kind of behind the scenes of
- 19:26Speaker 2: everybody's life, which I think is very valuable now going
- 19:29Speaker 2: into hometowns. But there is one person that doesn't feel
- 19:35Speaker 2: like they're gonna make it to hometowns. That's Maria. Maria
- 19:38Speaker 2: has I'm not going to say a breakdown. I think
- 19:42Speaker 2: that's what she called her what she was having. I
- 19:47Speaker 2: think she is really in it and has felt all
- 19:51Speaker 2: sorts of emotions throughout this process and has a had
- 19:55Speaker 2: a roller coaster ride through this season. Did you think
- 20:00Speaker 2: she was going to be going home on her own? Accord?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Ashley, how do you solve a problem like Marie. I've
- 20:07Speaker 3: just had to put that somewhere in any of these recaps.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Please tell me that you know that's from the sound
- 20:12Speaker 3: of music.
- 20:13Speaker 2: No, I had no clue.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Then are you serious?
- 20:17Speaker 2: And that sounded good though?
- 20:18Speaker 4: Wow? Just a classic anyway, you guys know that.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Like, even though my friend Sydney has obviously an issue
- 20:26Speaker 3: with Maria, I have not had an issue with what
- 20:29Speaker 3: I've seen from Maria on TV, and I find her
- 20:33Speaker 3: to have a great personality for television. And I think
- 20:38Speaker 3: this was the one moment where I was like, mmm, girl,
- 20:43Speaker 3: this was in the past couple of weeks, a moment
- 20:46Speaker 3: where I was like, she's fishing here, she is just fishing.
- 20:52Speaker 3: She needs, so, she wants, so, she wants so much validation,
- 20:55Speaker 3: but I don't think she needs it. I think she's
- 20:57Speaker 3: confident in where they sit. They sit, but she wanted
- 21:00Speaker 3: him to basically say, like, you're getting a hometown. I
- 21:04Speaker 3: can't wait to meet your family. I can't I see
- 21:07Speaker 3: you at the end, Like she wanted so much of that,
- 21:10Speaker 3: and then her plan totally backfires with him and she's like,
- 21:14Speaker 3: I think I have to leave. I think this process
- 21:16Speaker 3: is for me. And then he goes, so are you leaving?
- 21:19Speaker 3: And then she's like yeah, and then she gets up
- 21:23Speaker 3: goes to the other room, and I was like, I
- 21:25Speaker 3: don't know how they're going to rebound from this moment.
- 21:27Speaker 3: And then when she sits back down, this was one
- 21:29Speaker 3: of the most attractive scenes with Joey Again. I was like,
- 21:33Speaker 3: this dude just kills kills this lead role. He has
- 21:37Speaker 3: such a good job because he is like standing his ground,
- 21:42Speaker 3: He's not feeding into what I think was kind of
- 21:45Speaker 3: like a bullshit moment, and he is like still listening
- 21:51Speaker 3: and understanding and being like gentle with her feelings during it.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I just thought it was a great moment. I don't
- 21:59Speaker 3: even remember what the heck he said, but like basically
- 22:02Speaker 3: he was like, you want the validation or you're gonna leave. Well,
- 22:07Speaker 3: it's like I'm in this position right now where like
- 22:10Speaker 3: I'm you know, I'm I'm here. I could give you
- 22:15Speaker 3: the opportunity to do it, but you're the one that
- 22:17Speaker 3: wants to leave. So basically, he's saying like she was
- 22:22Speaker 3: being selfish in the moment because there's nothing else he
- 22:24Speaker 3: can do to help her here except for, you know,
- 22:27Speaker 3: give her a rose, which he probably was gonna do.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I see where she's coming from. I do. She wants
- 22:34Speaker 2: more attention than she's getting, but.
- 22:36Speaker 4: She's getting a lot of attention.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I feel, yeah, but you I think this is a
- 22:40Speaker 2: marker of how where she feels like her relationship is
- 22:42Speaker 2: compared to some of the other women. I don't think
- 22:44Speaker 2: she's as confident in their relationship as she is around
- 22:47Speaker 2: seeing like the kelsey A's and the Daisies. Now, I
- 22:51Speaker 2: think she's questioning exactly where am I at? And she
- 22:53Speaker 2: cares about him, and so she's saying, how do I
- 22:57Speaker 2: stand out here? Like how do I actually ask him
- 22:59Speaker 2: where we're at? Compared to everybody else? Because it is
- 23:02Speaker 2: it's an emotional roller coaster, like it is really hard
- 23:07Speaker 2: to feel good about where you're at, especially when you
- 23:09Speaker 2: care deeply about the lead. Dude, did you go about
- 23:14Speaker 2: it in the right way? Ah? No, she probably could
- 23:17Speaker 2: have just said it and ask them. But this is
- 23:18Speaker 2: maybe who she is, Like she is maybe a little
- 23:20Speaker 2: bit more like dramatic, and she does say things sometimes
- 23:24Speaker 2: that she maybe possibly regrets and looks back on. But
- 23:28Speaker 2: what did she get out of it? Well, she got
- 23:29Speaker 2: a rose, and she got a kiss, and she got
- 23:31Speaker 2: this cute little flirty moment where they're like hugging each other,
- 23:35Speaker 2: and I think it connects them in a way that
- 23:37Speaker 2: the day she needed.
- 23:39Speaker 3: It was a connecting moment for sure, because it didn't
- 23:42Speaker 3: work a fight and they mended the fight.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I mean, how many times do you say something you
- 23:49Speaker 2: don't mean, or you react in a way you don't
- 23:52Speaker 2: want to react, and you have to go back and
- 23:54Speaker 2: be like I'm sorry, Like I overreacted there. I made
- 23:57Speaker 2: that way more dramatic than I wanted it to. That
- 23:59Speaker 2: all kind of blew up in my face. Like that happens, right,
- 24:04Speaker 2: doesn't usually happen on national television.
- 24:06Speaker 3: What about when she said like, I'm not even going
- 24:08Speaker 3: to kiss you and then he was like, what, You're
- 24:10Speaker 3: not even gonna kiss me and then she like goes
- 24:12Speaker 3: right in for it.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, she's like and I kind of like that moment.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I did too, and he goes, You're all over the place.
- 24:18Speaker 4: It was just so real, and I did love the moment.
- 24:21Speaker 4: It was weird. I still I stand by the fact
- 24:24Speaker 4: that I think that she was totally fishing one of
- 24:27Speaker 4: her answer there and that she wanted to eliminate girls
- 24:31Speaker 4: right there.
- 24:32Speaker 3: But definitely, but like, but the moment was really compelling
- 24:37Speaker 3: and just one of those again like last week their day.
- 24:42Speaker 3: It felt like, No, it felt like not a TV moment.
- 24:46Speaker 2: No, it wasn't. I mean, she said, I'm not going
- 24:48Speaker 2: to kiss you because I saw you kissing other women.
- 24:51Speaker 2: You need to learn your lesson. And I'm like, that's
- 24:52Speaker 2: fair and it's funny and it's cute and it's flirtatious.
- 24:56Speaker 2: And then she goes in and kisses him anyways, and
- 24:58Speaker 2: I'm like this, this is this is playful and this
- 25:02Speaker 2: is fun and and and I see the two of
- 25:05Speaker 2: them together.
- 25:07Speaker 3: But it totally spooked him. He's like forever weary of her.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Now sure, I I'm sure he's questioning where she stands
- 25:17Speaker 2: at this point. And I don't know if hometowns is
- 25:23Speaker 2: necessarily gonna help that, because he's probably gonna get questions
- 25:27Speaker 2: about where does Maria stand with everybody else, and she's
- 25:30Speaker 2: gonna have to hear him say, like, I have feelings
- 25:32Speaker 2: for a lot of people and I've got to have
- 25:33Speaker 2: to figure this out in the end, and that's not
- 25:34Speaker 2: going to help the situation. But it is probably out
- 25:40Speaker 2: of the top three now because I had Kelsey t
- 25:44Speaker 2: up there and obviously she's going home if we have,
- 25:47Speaker 2: you know, I think for me it's Daisy and Kelsey,
- 25:50Speaker 2: A and Maria. It definitely is the one relationship that
- 25:53Speaker 2: is the most fragile and also the one that has
- 25:58Speaker 2: a lot of similarities to the others and terms of
- 26:00Speaker 2: connection and comfort. I will say I think Maria's relationship
- 26:04Speaker 2: with Joey has had the most obstacles that they've been
- 26:09Speaker 2: able to get over, and not obstacles in the terms
- 26:12Speaker 2: of like relationships ending obstacles like hey, there's these rumors
- 26:16Speaker 2: about you dating somebody else back home and all this stuff.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It's obstacles with other women obstacles and with emotion obstacles
- 26:23Speaker 2: and miscommunication all those things that I do think they
- 26:26Speaker 2: have some a strong foundation.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I feel like, don't put her against like Daisy and Kelsey,
- 26:33Speaker 3: but I do feel like Rachel has lost a little esteem.
- 26:36Speaker 2: We just sere this week much and we haven't seen well,
- 26:40Speaker 2: I know, we just recently saw like a very good
- 26:42Speaker 2: one on one with her and some flirtatious moments. But
- 26:45Speaker 2: even that one on one date, we said, hey, felt
- 26:47Speaker 2: like it was a little bit more disconnected than their
- 26:49Speaker 2: even first you know, or their their yeah wedding date moment.
- 26:58Speaker 2: And it does feel I think in my mind like
- 27:02Speaker 2: the top three is very clear to me at this
- 27:05Speaker 2: point in time. Okay, well, we do have a group day. Actually,
- 27:18Speaker 2: there's not a lot to talk about on this group
- 27:20Speaker 2: day other than the fact that can I say, for
- 27:22Speaker 2: the first time in a long time, I've agreed with
- 27:24Speaker 2: you on something that you stick by, and that is
- 27:27Speaker 2: that you don't like yeah, competition dates, and I've always
- 27:30Speaker 2: said I like them. I think they're fun. I think
- 27:31Speaker 2: when it gets down to the four people on a
- 27:33Speaker 2: competition date, it mostly feels like a waste of time.
- 27:37Speaker 2: It felt awkward, it felt like it was unnecessary. Their
- 27:39Speaker 2: relationships have moved way past How can I impress you
- 27:43Speaker 2: doing this random obstacle that I've never done before, which.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I thought Maria was really funny. She's like, this is
- 27:50Speaker 3: not my scene and I am not really putting effort
- 27:52Speaker 3: into this.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it just feels like we've moved past it, right,
- 27:56Speaker 2: and maybe they just needed this day to kind of
- 27:57Speaker 2: fill space. And it was fun to watch. I enjoyed
- 28:01Speaker 2: the activity, and I enjoyed seeing all these things done.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I just felt like, as a date, it felt awkward
- 28:08Speaker 2: to me, Uh, a little little cringey, even at moments
- 28:11Speaker 2: where it's like this, why are they cutting wood for
- 28:13Speaker 2: this guy? Like at this like at this point, this
- 28:16Speaker 2: is done?
- 28:17Speaker 4: Yeah, gotcha?
- 28:19Speaker 2: So what came out of that? No group date rows?
- 28:23Speaker 2: Obviously we had the Maria conversation.
- 28:25Speaker 4: The group date Rose was definitely a good idea though.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Great idea, the whole moment with Maria, and then like
- 28:32Speaker 3: I think he really needed time to think about the macro.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yes, so not a lot gets brought up there.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Uh.
- 28:41Speaker 2: So then we have the kelsey a date. Kelsey a date,
- 28:45Speaker 2: uh is similar to Daisy's date, you know, comparatively, it
- 28:50Speaker 2: feels very similar there. Yes they really like each other,
- 28:53Speaker 2: Yes they're very attracted to each other. Yes they get
- 28:55Speaker 2: along great, They're both in this together. I mean, the
- 29:00Speaker 2: depth of their relationship I think at this point really
- 29:02Speaker 2: now needs to be stepped up after hometown, Like we're
- 29:06Speaker 2: ready for Kelsey A and Daisy to go to hometowns.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I'm really excited about Kelsey's hometown because her dad. We
- 29:14Speaker 3: hear the stories of her dad, how emotional she gets
- 29:17Speaker 3: talking about him, and he just sounds like a sweet man.
- 29:20Speaker 3: And then at the scenes for the next episode you
- 29:22Speaker 3: get a couple glimpses of him, and I'm like, this
- 29:24Speaker 3: is a good daddy.
- 29:26Speaker 4: I like this. I like this man.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you know it's you know what I'm saying. Though,
- 29:30Speaker 2: it just feels like the only way we're going to
- 29:31Speaker 2: get progress in their relationships is to now separate everybody
- 29:36Speaker 2: because they're so far along. I mean, those two are
- 29:41Speaker 2: are two of the strongest, top two in recent memory
- 29:45Speaker 2: for me.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 29:47Speaker 2: So the cocktail party gets canceled not a shock here.
- 29:50Speaker 2: It happens a lot of seasons.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Yeah it does. But like.
- 29:55Speaker 2: That's the only weird thing that happened. And I cannot
- 29:59Speaker 2: claim that that canceling the cocktail party was Joey's idea.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I'll tell you how this usually works out. Usually at
- 30:05Speaker 2: this point in time, you are so tired of cocktail parties.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Dude, this guy was so tired.
- 30:10Speaker 3: You could tell in this episode he was like, Oh
- 30:12Speaker 3: my gosh, I'm just sketching over it.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you're over it. So as a lead, most leads
- 30:18Speaker 2: I talk to and remembering back on my time, if
- 30:21Speaker 2: everybody wants a little insight is most leads at this
- 30:25Speaker 2: point are over the whole thing. They're done with the dates,
- 30:28Speaker 2: they're done with the cocktail parties. All they want to
- 30:31Speaker 2: do is spend time with the people that are left
- 30:34Speaker 2: and do it in a way that isn't so kind
- 30:37Speaker 2: of like formal. Right, coming up, you're gonna have some hometowns.
- 30:40Speaker 2: You're gonna have overnights, which are super fun because you
- 30:43Speaker 2: get cameras away from you, including the lead for the
- 30:46Speaker 2: first time in months. Then then you're down to two
- 30:49Speaker 2: and at that point everything changes and you're in a
- 30:52Speaker 2: whole different mind headspace. So you're kind of done with
- 30:55Speaker 2: the bachelor deal, the bachelorette deal. Cocktail parties aren't fund
- 30:58Speaker 2: to you anymore. You don't want to like around to
- 31:00Speaker 2: all these women that you know so well, and it
- 31:03Speaker 2: feels weird when five of them are sitting in a
- 31:05Speaker 2: room alone, and there's always the chance that drama can arise,
- 31:08Speaker 2: And so the producers will come in and they'll say, hey,
- 31:11Speaker 2: what do you want to do about tonight? And they'll say,
- 31:14Speaker 2: we'll give you two options.
- 31:15Speaker 4: You have the cocktail party here, you don't.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you have the cocktail party and you have to
- 31:20Speaker 2: leave in thirty minutes, or you don't, and we can
- 31:23Speaker 2: do a rose ceremony in thirty minutes and you'll be
- 31:25Speaker 2: back home by eight thirty tonight.
- 31:28Speaker 4: And you know, delightful.
- 31:30Speaker 2: There's a game on. You know, this is during football season,
- 31:33Speaker 2: so you're like, you get tuned into the game and
- 31:34Speaker 2: you're like, I know exactly what I want to do, Like,
- 31:38Speaker 2: I am so over this thing. Let's just do the
- 31:40Speaker 2: rose ceremony. And so you know, if there's questions, maybe
- 31:44Speaker 2: still and there's big conversations that need to be had,
- 31:47Speaker 2: sure you might have a cocktail party. For the most part,
- 31:49Speaker 2: you are so excited when they give you the like
- 31:52Speaker 2: the offer to just cancel it.
- 31:55Speaker 3: But then how do you feel in this situation? Then
- 31:57Speaker 3: he obviously did have to have a conversation with Maria.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Uh, I don't know, I don't know. How this played out.
- 32:03Speaker 2: I would imagine this is what happened in Joey's head.
- 32:05Speaker 2: He goes, Hey, I just want to have a ROW
- 32:07Speaker 2: ceremony and the show goes awesome, that means an early
- 32:10Speaker 2: dinner for us, and he goes, but the only thing
- 32:12Speaker 2: is I need to talk to Maria. And they say, well,
- 32:14Speaker 2: just do it at their OW ceremony goes that's a
- 32:16Speaker 2: fine deal. Like, yeah, this may not make sense on
- 32:18Speaker 2: the message and the girls may not like this move,
- 32:21Speaker 2: but like, but one hundred percent, this is what I'm
- 32:23Speaker 2: going to do. It saves me three hours tonight.
- 32:26Speaker 3: And what it's also means to me is that, like
- 32:29Speaker 3: he just knew that, like if Maria gave him the
- 32:32Speaker 3: right answer, that she was definitely far and beyond his
- 32:35Speaker 3: feelings for Jen and Kelsey. So it was like it
- 32:39Speaker 3: wasn't going to like they couldn't win him over.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I think at that point, yeah, he knew what he
- 32:44Speaker 2: was going to do, but he needed he needed some clarity,
- 32:47Speaker 2: and so he took like the best audibled route to
- 32:54Speaker 2: having as little amount of obligation as he could that
- 32:57Speaker 2: evening and getting out of there in time for a
- 32:59Speaker 2: good and a football game. I'm guaranteeing it. I mean,
- 33:03Speaker 2: I'm serious, and that's fine. I like for me that
- 33:05Speaker 2: doesn't It's very understandable, and I think every fan should
- 33:09Speaker 2: understand where he's coming from in this is that the
- 33:11Speaker 2: most the more time I can get just to chill
- 33:13Speaker 2: right now, the better for everybody and the better for
- 33:16Speaker 2: me personally. And I'm gonna find ways to do that.
- 33:18Speaker 2: You're kind of always looking now for ways to do that,
- 33:20Speaker 2: and so yeah, the messaging was weird, and I can
- 33:23Speaker 2: see where some of the women were a little thrown
- 33:25Speaker 2: off by it, but it's just the way it had
- 33:28Speaker 2: to be done and you're gonna have to get over it,
- 33:30Speaker 2: and I guarantee it when it comes to them getting
- 33:32Speaker 2: in the roses. I think Rachel was the one that
- 33:34Speaker 2: really thrown off by it. She was fine, She was like,
- 33:36Speaker 2: I don't care now, it's fine. So Marie and him
- 33:39Speaker 2: kind of get pulled aside. They have a little conversation.
- 33:41Speaker 3: It's like the same conversation they have a little chiller
- 33:43Speaker 3: from the night before, and she's like, I'm rattled by
- 33:46Speaker 3: the other girls. And then he's like, okay, well, I
- 33:48Speaker 3: just want to let you know that I do really
- 33:50Speaker 3: like you.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like do you want to be here?
- 33:53Speaker 3: Not?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Yeah, she says yes, and he's like, all right, let's
- 33:55Speaker 2: go back in there, let's do this thing. And so
- 33:57Speaker 2: kelsey T shocker elimination for me. I really thought she
- 34:00Speaker 2: was going to be around. I thought she was. She
- 34:03Speaker 2: was moving her way up until the top, maybe even
- 34:06Speaker 2: like kind of close to too pushing to a little
- 34:08Speaker 2: bit dude. Yeah. And then Jen Jin goes home as well,
- 34:15Speaker 2: not as much of a shaker there. Kind of the
- 34:16Speaker 2: whole episode kind of leaned into that moment. Yeah, writing
- 34:20Speaker 2: was on the wall. I will miss miss kelsey T.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I do feel like she you know, we keep saying it,
- 34:30Speaker 2: like I just I want to see more of her.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I guess I liked her personality, I liked who she was.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I thought she was great for Joey. But at the
- 34:39Speaker 2: end of the day, I'm not that shocked because kelsey
- 34:42Speaker 2: A and Daisy are still there, and for me, as
- 34:44Speaker 2: long as they're still there, everybody else right now is
- 34:47Speaker 2: just kind of like around. If that makes sense.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Well, this is my plea to the Bachelor producers who
- 34:53Speaker 3: aren't I think planning paradise, but I think this is
- 34:56Speaker 3: such an unfortunate season for them not to be planning Paradise,
- 34:59Speaker 3: because so this is the group of girls that like,
- 35:01Speaker 3: we actually care about seeing again.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I agree with you, Ashley.
- 35:05Speaker 3: This is like he was like, guys, look at the ratings,
- 35:07Speaker 3: look at these girls following counts.
- 35:10Speaker 4: People are gonna watch this Paradise. You guys got to
- 35:12Speaker 4: fit it in.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean maybe they come up with something different.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Maybe they're yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Do you let the Mansion do something? It doesn't have
- 35:19Speaker 4: to be like this big travel show.
- 35:21Speaker 1: No.
- 35:21Speaker 2: It just feels like for years we were kind of like, hey,
- 35:24Speaker 2: are we excited about Paradise. Sure, because it's always paradise
- 35:26Speaker 2: and it's fun to watch, but we aren't that excited
- 35:28Speaker 2: about much here other than the fact that it's on
- 35:32Speaker 2: TV and it kind of gets us back in the groove.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Now I'm sitting here at the end of the Joey's
- 35:37Speaker 2: season and also at some levels Charity season again and
- 35:41Speaker 2: going there's a lot of people I want to see
- 35:44Speaker 2: back on that beach.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I think they could have turned around. I think it's
- 35:47Speaker 4: gonna happen somehow. All right, good.
- 35:50Speaker 2: I want my buddy Wells to have a job.
- 35:51Speaker 3: So there's that one too. There's that aspect all right,
- 35:54Speaker 3: so see to the next episode. Like I said, really
- 35:57Speaker 3: like Kelsey's dad. Thus far, it seems like the Rachel's
- 36:02Speaker 3: parents are going to be the ones that give us
- 36:04Speaker 3: the drama here and a little bit with Maria's dad,
- 36:09Speaker 3: but Rachel's parents, Yeah, I don't know.
- 36:14Speaker 4: It seems very cheerful.
- 36:15Speaker 2: I don't even want to judge off of this because
- 36:17Speaker 2: every time it looks so dramatic, and it never is
- 36:19Speaker 2: as dramatic as they make it slook. And honestly, when
- 36:23Speaker 2: it comes to hometown, you're JoJo's. Yeah, unless you're at
- 36:26Speaker 2: JoJo's and you're like, goodness, gracious, I don't belong here
- 36:29Speaker 2: like this, they do not want me around, you know,
- 36:33Speaker 2: I think all in it's hard for me to criticize
- 36:40Speaker 2: families who are protective of any of their sons or
- 36:44Speaker 2: daughters in hometowns. Hometowns for me, I will watch with
- 36:49Speaker 2: one hand over my eyes because it's so hard for me,
- 36:52Speaker 2: Like I just I have these memories of it, and
- 36:54Speaker 2: I have these memories of looking dads in the eyes
- 36:57Speaker 2: and being like, hey, if it comes down to this moment,
- 37:00Speaker 2: how do you feel about it, And being like this
- 37:02Speaker 2: is such a big moment for you and you have
- 37:04Speaker 2: some you know, dork walking through your front door and
- 37:12Speaker 2: he's asking you these questions and You're like this, the
- 37:14Speaker 2: whole thing feels stupid to me. And this whole thing
- 37:16Speaker 2: is not what I ever dreamed of for my daughter,
- 37:17Speaker 2: and this whole thing is messed up. And I'm like,
- 37:19Speaker 2: I get it, like I totally understand, but I have
- 37:22Speaker 2: to do this and you have to do this too,
- 37:25Speaker 2: and this sucks, and I just I love hometowns for
- 37:29Speaker 2: certain reasons. I hate hometowns because I know it's so
- 37:32Speaker 2: uncomfortable for the lead and for these families.
- 37:37Speaker 4: I love hometowns.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I'm sure. I'm sure you do. You know, Yeah, it
- 37:41Speaker 2: makes me feel all icky inside. Yeah, I just remember
- 37:44Speaker 2: I remember those feelings of like having massive like anxiety
- 37:49Speaker 2: pulling up to the house and walking through the front
- 37:52Speaker 2: door and being like, hey, yeah here, I am Like
- 37:58Speaker 2: how many girls you date right now? Ben Man? Multiple? Sorry,
- 38:03Speaker 2: your daughter is great though. Anyways, it's it's hard, and
- 38:07Speaker 2: it's it's hard for everybody involved. So hometowns is next week.
- 38:10Speaker 2: We're down to four, Ashley. I gave you my top three.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I'm assuming your top three is the same. But who
- 38:17Speaker 2: do you believe who do you believe has the most
- 38:24Speaker 2: encouraging Like, is there anybody in this group right now
- 38:26Speaker 2: that their hometown is gonna sway? Joey's opinion, No, no, no.
- 38:36Speaker 2: I think Rachel goes home next week, which is unfortunately
- 38:40Speaker 2: we love Rachel again. I don't know what we're gonna
- 38:41Speaker 2: see her again, but it's she was such a good
- 38:44Speaker 2: person on the show. I think Rachel goes home and
- 38:47Speaker 2: it's Maria, Daisy and Kelsey onto overnights. That's my opinion.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I will be shocked if that changes.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, I think that's what makes the most sense
- 39:01Speaker 4: right now. Okay, so I'll stick with you on that.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Well, we'll be back next week breaking down another episode
- 39:07Speaker 2: of The Bachelor. Also almost good Advice. We have some
- 39:10Speaker 2: interviews now coming up with some past contestants also some
- 39:13Speaker 2: contestants that are currently on the season. We are kind
- 39:16Speaker 2: of working into that time of the year where we're
- 39:18Speaker 2: going to really start diving into interviews with people from
- 39:21Speaker 2: this season to understand who they are, hear their side
- 39:25Speaker 2: of the story, and it's an exciting time to be
- 39:29Speaker 2: the almost famous podcast. It is. We have a lot
- 39:31Speaker 2: of cool things coming up, So thank you for listening.
