- 0:50Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister and Dana Roselli here with you.
- 0:52Sean McAllister: And man, Dana, it has just been a whirlwind lately.
- 0:56Dayna Roselli: It really has.
- 0:57Dayna Roselli: We had a big project for four days.
- 0:59Dayna Roselli: We had events that we needed to go to for the podcast and to cover for the TV show.
- 1:04Dayna Roselli: Our last episode, um, well, actually audio and television, focused on an interview with the new uh CEO and founder of Dreamscape.
- 1:14Dayna Roselli: Well, he's not new to Dreamscape, but he's the new owner of the Rio, Eric Birnbaum.
- 1:19Dayna Roselli: And it is just taken off.
- 1:20Dayna Roselli: People are loving it.
- 1:22Dayna Roselli: We are so appreciative that they thought it was interesting and they learned a lot.
- 1:26Dayna Roselli: I mean, at this moment, in like 24 hours, it has, you know, thousands and thousands of views on YouTube.
- 1:32Sean McAllister: Yeah, which is pretty incredible.
- 1:33Sean McAllister: And I mean, we a little bit, we kind of anticipated what kind of reaction we would get to that interview because previously, when we did coverage at the Rio, we just got so many questions from listeners and viewers about everything that was going on over there.
- 1:52Sean McAllister: So I mean, it wasn't surprising that there was a good reaction to the interview, but I was kind of blown away by the volume that it's been getting.
- 2:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I like I said, or like you just said, I think that we kind of knew there was interest, which is why we pursued the interview.
- 2:08Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 2:08Dayna Roselli: And then once we did the interview, we thought, wow, he really answered all our questions without hesitation.
- 2:15Dayna Roselli: Was very he was an open book, let's put it that way.
- 2:18Dayna Roselli: So I think people learned a lot, people find it interesting.
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: So we're glad you did.
- 2:22Dayna Roselli: It is up on our Vegas Revealed YouTube.
- 2:24Dayna Roselli: And if you want to hear that interview uh in audio, you can just go right to our last podcast, episode 217.
- 2:30Sean McAllister: And by the way, we were just back at the Rio uh to interview Gleb Savchenko, who is going to be the temporary celebrity host of Chippendales.
- 2:41Sean McAllister: And um, you know, as we mentioned in the open of the show, we have that interview coming up here in just a few minutes.
- 2:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 2:47Dayna Roselli: And in the interview that we did with the new owner of the Rio, he said the Chippendales aren't going anywhere.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: They've been here a long time, and he is keeping them over at the Rio.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: So love that.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, lots of people are happy about that.
- 2:59Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we did this four-day project, uh, as I mentioned at the top of the show, down in Southern Highlands.
- 3:04Dayna Roselli: We do it every year.
- 3:05Dayna Roselli: We do a video and interviews and put together a great uh recap video for Olympia companies.
- 3:11Dayna Roselli: They do this governor's black tie bash, and boy, Sean, this year was bigger than ever.
- 3:16Sean McAllister: It really was.
- 3:17Sean McAllister: Uh, more than one and a half million dollars raised over this four-day span of multiple events.
- 3:24Sean McAllister: There's a golf tournament, uh, black tie dinner with the governor, this big grand bash with multiple performers this year.
- 3:33Sean McAllister: Not only was Midland performing, the country band Midland, but also Joe Nichols got up there and performed.
- 3:40Sean McAllister: I think there was 700 plus people in the room for that show.
- 3:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 3:45Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 3:46Dayna Roselli: They they had this VIP barbecue to kick it off where they were doing the what do you call it?
- 3:51Sean McAllister: Hat hat shaping.
- 3:53Dayna Roselli: Hat shaping, cowboy hat shaping, yeah.
- 3:55Sean McAllister: Shape it.
- 3:56Dayna Roselli: That was interesting.
- 3:57Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 3:57Sean McAllister: Uh there was a brunch with the first lady of the state of Nevada, Donna Lombardo, uh, a million-dollar shot competition.
- 4:06Sean McAllister: Basically, if uh one of the golfers who qualifies, if they get a hole in one on this one uh course, it's a million dollars that's won.
- 4:15Sean McAllister: It's split 50-50 between the golfer and uh all of the eight charities that money is being raised for.
- 4:22Sean McAllister: So it is just a packed four days.
- 4:25Sean McAllister: We were out there covering it all, and a lot of money was raised, and it's doing a lot of good for a bunch of organizations here in southern Nevada.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we got to meet some of our Vegas Revealed listeners.
- 4:36Sean McAllister: We did, which was so exciting.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: A bunch of people came up to us and said, Hey, we listen, and we were so proud.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: We're so glad that people are listening.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: You know, we started the podcast in 2020, and we love how much it's grown uh outside of the Las Vegas market, but also within Las Vegas.
- 4:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, and we, you know, we love to get feedback over email, which we've talked about just about every episode.
- 4:59Sean McAllister: Um, but we love the face-to-face meetings too.
- 5:02Sean McAllister: So if you are a listener, come and let us know if you see us out and about anywhere, because we love to we love to put faces with the with our listeners and viewers.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: And while we were down in Southern Highlands, uh it was your birthday while we were in the midst of all this.
- 5:19Dayna Roselli: And and one night we had an event only lasted until about um seven o'clock.
- 5:23Dayna Roselli: So I said, Where can we go in this area?
- 5:25Dayna Roselli: We wanted to gather some friends, celebrate your birthday.
- 5:28Dayna Roselli: So we picked Pine Bistro because we had heard about it, but had never been, because we don't get down to that part of town a lot.
- 5:34Dayna Roselli: But man, we loved it, didn't we?
- 5:36Sean McAllister: It turned out to be a great spot.
- 5:38Sean McAllister: So we walked in, there was a really nice, swanky lounge area with the indoor dining room.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: And then we uh stepped out and found our friends sitting out there on the patio, which was a great patio and a beautiful night.
- 5:52Dayna Roselli: Oh, it was.
- 5:53Dayna Roselli: We all enjoyed it so much and enjoyed the food.
- 5:57Dayna Roselli: The chef is from uh used to work at the Wynn Las Vegas, but uh the food I had this kebab with rice, it was delicious.
- 6:03Dayna Roselli: And we had some baba ganoush and hummus and pita to start.
- 6:07Sean McAllister: It really was.
- 6:08Sean McAllister: It was so good and fresh.
- 6:11Sean McAllister: Yeah, like the freshness of Mediterranean food is what I really like.
- 6:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, and you don't feel heavy afterwards, right?
- 6:17Dayna Roselli: And I don't want to say, like, it's hard to say, like, we didn't expect it to be that good, but we kind of were, we just didn't know going in that it was gonna be as nice as it was.
- 6:26Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 6:27Sean McAllister: Exactly.
- 6:28Sean McAllister: We were very uh very happy with our entire experience over there.
- 6:33Dayna Roselli: The staff was great too.
- 6:34Dayna Roselli: Our waiter was very attentive.
- 6:35Dayna Roselli: It's located on uh Dean Martin, just to the south of Cactus, and that's right off the I-15.
- 6:41Dayna Roselli: So they open 5 p.m.
- 6:43Dayna Roselli: to 2 a.m., I think it is late night.
- 6:45Dayna Roselli: So that's great.
- 6:46Dayna Roselli: Also, they just started a weekend brunch, literally, like this weekend.
- 6:51Dayna Roselli: So um, they're doing that now too.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: So it seems like they're kind of expanding, and they should.
- 6:56Dayna Roselli: It's a great spot, and highly recommend Pine Bistro down there toward the in the Southern Highlands area.
- 7:02Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 7:03Sean McAllister: Uh speaking of brunch, by the way, I just saw Emmett's Las Vegas, Emmett's Vegas, over at Fashion Show is starting uh to open up earlier for lunch and brunch in addition to dinner service.
- 7:16Dayna Roselli: Oh, good.
- 7:16Sean McAllister: So now you can go over there for lunch.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I figured that would happen eventually, but I know it just seemed like it was a good fit, right?
- 7:23Dayna Roselli: I mean, so many brunches out there right now.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: Actually, in our tips, we have a brunch that we're gonna recommend as well if you want to try.
- 7:30Dayna Roselli: It's on the Las Vegas strip, which is really cool.
- 7:33Dayna Roselli: Um, but that's great about Emmett's as well.
- 7:35Dayna Roselli: Um, in the midst of all that, we stopped over to oh my gosh, old we've been busy, over to Old Red to watch Blake Shelton and Old Red get the key to the Las Vegas strip.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: And, you know, we've talked about Old Red.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: A lot of people have been there already.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: There's lines to get in all the time, it gets so much buzz.
- 7:55Dayna Roselli: Sits there right on Las Vegas Boulevard at Flamingo.
- 7:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, and uh so Old Red is run by uh the Ryman Hospitality Group, which is also um affiliated with the Grand Old Opry.
- 8:09Sean McAllister: And Blake Shelton, being uh an Opry member, you know, has worked with them to develop his Old Red honky tonks.
- 8:17Sean McAllister: Yeah, uh, the largest and newest one being here in Las Vegas.
- 8:22Sean McAllister: So all of the Opry and Ryman folks were in town from Nashville for this presentation.
- 8:29Sean McAllister: Blake Shelton was up there for the presentation and um talked about uh being here, having a location in Las Vegas and really kind of utilizing it to farm new country talent on the West Coast.
- 8:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:45Dayna Roselli: I mean, along with the food, cocktails, beer, um, there's live music every single night.
- 8:51Dayna Roselli: And I know people love that part of it.
- 8:53Dayna Roselli: And when um someone had asked Blake while we were there, we did this, it was kind of like a press conference slash kind of moderated chat, I guess you should say, um, where we were.
- 9:03Dayna Roselli: And someone had asked, you know, do you expect this to be this extension of Nashville?
- 9:07Dayna Roselli: Kind of like you're you mentioned.
- 9:09Dayna Roselli: And he did say, you know, listen, opening Old Red, you know, it's massive, it's a large property.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: Um, it's right there in front of the horseshoe, by the way, and across from the Bellagio.
- 9:18Dayna Roselli: But he said, you know, it's been a lot of hard work.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: And we may not see any large, as large as Old Red country type venues open up in Las Vegas anytime soon.
- 9:30Dayna Roselli: But he wouldn't be surprised if we do see more of this kind of venue opening up in Las Vegas in the future.
- 9:36Dayna Roselli: And here's why.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: Just based on what we've seen since January when it opened, it's extremely obvious that people uh are are starving for a place just to that's not so over the top uh in your face that you can relax and and have a beer and have music in the background and and talk and and feel like you're at a party, but not necessarily uh you know at a uh a show.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: And and that's what happens in Nashville.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: It's just it's just all about the music that's happening all the time that you can take in uh and and different artists and stuff like that.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: You know, this this really does feel like you're stepping in onto Broadway in Nashville.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you've been there before, but this is what Nashville's like, and and uh and with especially with the live music, you know, no matter when you come in here, there there's gonna be it's gonna be happening here.
- 10:34Sean McAllister: Great to be there and hear from Blake.
- 10:36Sean McAllister: He also uh did back-to-back performances on two two separate nights.
- 10:42Sean McAllister: Um, Gwen Stefani was here with him.
- 10:44Sean McAllister: Gwen's family from California came out for the uh for the performance too.
- 10:50Sean McAllister: So it was a family gathering for the official grand opening of All Red, even though it's been open since the beginning of the year.
- 10:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and he was saying that Gwen's family loves when they go to that location because it's closer to them in California.
- 11:04Dayna Roselli: So pretty soon they'll have a high-speed train.
- 11:06Sean McAllister: Again, no kidding.
- 11:07Dayna Roselli: They did break ground on that bright line high-speed train, by the way, which we'll talk about more in another episode.
- 11:13Dayna Roselli: But um, yeah, it was it was great to see Blake.
- 11:15Dayna Roselli: I was shocked at how tall he is.
- 11:17Dayna Roselli: He is.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: I've never seen him in per well, I have seen him in person when he came to Gwen's show and sang on stage, but I hadn't been that close to Blake Sheldon before.
- 11:26Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 11:26Dayna Roselli: And I realized, wow, he's towering tall.
- 11:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, he is.
- 11:30Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 11:30Dayna Roselli: I mean, definitely very, I don't know, statuesque.
- 11:35Dayna Roselli: Statuesque, cowboy, Marlborough man kind of look going on there.
- 11:40Dayna Roselli: I liked it.
- 11:40Dayna Roselli: I liked it.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: It works with the whole Blake brand, doesn't it?
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: It does.
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: Well, Blake mentioned that there probably wouldn't be any country bar restaurants of that size opening anytime soon, but there are actually some things that we found out, some rumors flying around that Morgan Wallen may be opening a spot right there in front of Aria near the Arte Museum in Ocean Prime.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: Not confirmed though, but we're pretty sure it's happening.
- 12:08Sean McAllister: Yeah, there's reports out there about uh building permits uh being applied for for this 10,000 square foot two-floor space, potentially with a a rooftop uh patio, even.
- 12:23Sean McAllister: So again, these are just kind of reports and rumors that are flying around out there, not officially confirmed.
- 12:31Dayna Roselli: It sounds like it's more of a country restaurant, by the way, too, not like a big honky tonk like Old Red.
- 12:36Sean McAllister: But music's still involved also.
- 12:39Sean McAllister: I believe Morgan is also currently working right now to open a place in Nashville as well.
- 12:46Sean McAllister: Uh, someone else who has a place already in Nashville is Jason Aldean, and there are also rumblings that he could be looking at uh uh some spaces here in Las Vegas to open a honky tonk as well.
- 12:58Sean McAllister: So who knows?
- 12:59Sean McAllister: This could be the the start of a new country era here in Las Vegas with celebrity, you know, honky tonks popping up all over and who whatever.
- 13:10Sean McAllister: It's we've heard the phrase Nash Vegas before.
- 13:13Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 13:13Sean McAllister: So it would make sense if that started happening.
- 13:16Dayna Roselli: And speaking of eras, in the midst of all this, our project, Meet and Blake, Down at Olympia, Taylor Swift debuted a new album.
- 13:25Dayna Roselli: I feel like this is the only outlet I have to give my take on it because everyone's talking about their take.
- 13:30Dayna Roselli: Um, so gosh, so much going on with it.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: We don't need to recap everything, but I have been listening to it over and over, Sean.
- 13:37Dayna Roselli: And I must say, I am absolutely addicted to this album.
- 13:41Dayna Roselli: I absolutely love it.
- 13:42Dayna Roselli: I know there's been pluses and negatives, and oh, it's redundant, and you know, but she released like so many songs.
- 13:48Dayna Roselli: I must say, I'm like obsessed with the first like 15.
- 13:51Dayna Roselli: I haven't even got past that point yet.
- 13:53Dayna Roselli: I listened to it over and over and I love it.
- 13:55Dayna Roselli: And I also think that a lot of people are saying, oh, I'm not sure it could be, but I always think as you start to listen to songs uh one time, two time, you start hearing it on the radio, they kind of have new life.
- 14:10Dayna Roselli: And I think Taylor's album is going to turn where some people who say, I don't know, I listened to it, and a lot of it seemed, you know, just familiar and this and that.
- 14:22Dayna Roselli: I I have a feeling a bunch of these songs are really gonna take off.
- 14:25Sean McAllister: I I think so too.
- 14:27Sean McAllister: And this is not one of those albums that has like those um really poppy, like bop kind of songs on it.
- 14:34Dayna Roselli: But there are a few.
- 14:35Sean McAllister: There are there are some there actually when you listen to the good beats, but it's not like the traditional like summertime jammer kind of song.
- 14:44Dayna Roselli: No, there is one, I would say that yes, there's one that's kind of like that that I think will probably take off.
- 14:50Dayna Roselli: Um I yeah, you're right.
- 14:52Dayna Roselli: It's it's different.
- 14:53Dayna Roselli: It's I mean, uh there's something about I've never been a lyric person, but I swear when I drive, I feel like I'm listening to like a book on tape set to music.
- 15:01Dayna Roselli: Like all these stories, and they're so relatable, but also, you know, I'm an adult.
- 15:06Dayna Roselli: So I don't know a lot of if a lot of her stories that she's telling now about these breakups and these deep connections and things didn't that younger girls would understand just yet.
- 15:15Sean McAllister: Right.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: So not that that matters, it's still like a story, but I don't know.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: And then even the whole like the the song that she's referring to Kim Kardashian, people are getting so deep about that, you know.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: In general, like, yes, the the Kim is capitalized.
- 15:31Dayna Roselli: It's almost like she's she's writing a song about the feelings of being bullied and how you how it affects you.
- 15:39Dayna Roselli: And it's in in general, it's a song about that.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: It doesn't necessarily mean it's like word for word every single experience that she went through with Kim Kardashian and their little battle and how they haven't gotten along.
- 15:53Dayna Roselli: Like it's referred to, you use like ex you know, experiments from life to to make songs like that, but it's also a good song about how when you know you're feeling bullied or when things don't go your way, how you really work to try and make something of yourself and prove them wrong.
- 16:10Sean McAllister: Right.
- 16:11Dayna Roselli: You know, in the end, it's it's a good song.
- 16:13Sean McAllister: It is, and and uh Kim is giving it more publicity when she, you know, puts out statements saying that Taylor should just get over their beef.
- 16:23Dayna Roselli: Right, exactly.
- 16:24Dayna Roselli: Oh, and Kim loves it, let me tell you.
- 16:26Dayna Roselli: Although Kim did lose 100,000 followers right off the bat.
- 16:29Dayna Roselli: The Swifties, yeah.
- 16:31Dayna Roselli: And then I unfollowed her, I'm not gonna lie.
- 16:33Dayna Roselli: I was like, you know what?
- 16:34Dayna Roselli: If I want to see something of hers, I'll just go there.
- 16:36Dayna Roselli: I don't really need to be following Kim Kardashian.
- 16:38Dayna Roselli: I've I just I had to go with the Swifties on that one.
- 16:41Dayna Roselli: But um, and and the only thing is, is you know, I just think it's all part of the both for both of them.
- 16:48Dayna Roselli: It elevates both of their brands.
- 16:50Dayna Roselli: It does.
- 16:50Dayna Roselli: So whatever.
- 16:51Dayna Roselli: We could all be fooled, you know.
- 16:53Dayna Roselli: But um, okay, so let's talk about uh Vegas again.
- 16:57Dayna Roselli: The Venetian resort celebrating 25 years, and when we heard this, we were like, wow, 25 years already.
- 17:02Sean McAllister: It's kind of crazy, isn't it?
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: It is, and that is happening um May 3rd.
- 17:07Sean McAllister: Yeah, so we are right up on this uh 25th anniversary celebration, and the Venetian has a lot of activities going on to celebrate the occasion.
- 17:17Sean McAllister: Uh Buddy Velastro, the cake boss, we know him on TV as the cake boss.
- 17:22Sean McAllister: He has a couple restaurants over at the Venetian.
- 17:24Sean McAllister: He's gonna be um making some surprise appearances over there.
- 17:29Sean McAllister: Uh Emerald Legossi, another famed chef uh who's had a longtime connection with the Venetian, is hosting a really fancy multi-course dinner over there at uh Delmonico Steakhouse.
- 17:44Sean McAllister: Um, and there's just a lineup of some really great things going on to, you know, keep this party going.
- 17:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, Venetian's a great spot.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: It's it's a massive property.
- 17:56Dayna Roselli: They have so much going the Grand Canal shops, you know.
- 18:00Dayna Roselli: I mean, they've got the canals in there that go inside and outside.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: Um the Venetian itself, then the palazzo.
- 18:09Dayna Roselli: I mean, there's multiple restaurants and theaters, and I love it over there.
- 18:14Sean McAllister: And town nightclub and day club are over there at the Venetian, and I mean, there are just so many attractions.
- 18:20Sean McAllister: Madame Tussaud's is in there.
- 18:22Sean McAllister: There's the karaoke bar in the Grand Canal shops.
- 18:26Sean McAllister: I mean, it's there is so much uh at this resort.
- 18:31Dayna Roselli: I uh in St.
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: Mark's Square, I love it there.
- 18:33Dayna Roselli: It's it's so cool.
- 18:35Dayna Roselli: Um, they're also, you know, have been and are investing basically one billion dollars, you know, to make sure that they're constantly transforming the property um and making sure it's up to date, enhancing the guest experience.
- 18:50Dayna Roselli: Uh, they've already debuted a bunch of new restaurants and bars this year, entertainment venues like Voltaire.
- 18:56Dayna Roselli: So, I mean, I love that they're investing in always making improvements.
- 19:01Dayna Roselli: Uh, that's great news for the Venetian and for all the locals and visitors that come to Las Vegas.
- 19:07Sean McAllister: It is.
- 19:08Sean McAllister: And so the Venetian is not only investing in its own property for its 25th anniversary, but it's also giving back to the Las Vegas community as well.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they just received recognition from the White House praising their new Food Rescue Alliance food donation program.
- 19:26Dayna Roselli: And so I was reading a little bit more about this, and it's really cool.
- 19:30Dayna Roselli: It's the Venetian in partnership with the Just One Project.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: Get this, Sean.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: The Venetian prepares over 3.5 million meals annually for conventions, conferences, trade shows, all the attendees.
- 19:43Dayna Roselli: But any prepared, underserved, unserved, excuse me, any prepared or unserved food from the event qualifies for donation for the Food Rescue Alliance.
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: And so they make sure to not just throw those out, um, to utilize them.
- 20:01Sean McAllister: Yeah, and all this food is packaged and delivered fresh to people in southern Nevada with food insecurity.
- 20:09Sean McAllister: So they're getting fresh, nutritious food thanks to this program that uh the Venetian has in place to make sure that food isn't going to waste.
- 20:19Sean McAllister: And that's such a commendable thing that they're doing.

- 21:25Dayna Roselli: Well, I already did because I've been dipped by Gleb Sevachenko himself, the dancing with the stars professional, who is now the celebrity guest host of Chippendales.
- 21:38Dayna Roselli: He's trading in his ballroom dance shoes for the iconic bow tie and cuffs.
- 21:42Dayna Roselli: He is the latest celebrity guest.
- 21:43Dayna Roselli: They've had many through the years, and Gleb is now taking over for a couple weeks.
- 21:48Sean McAllister: Yeah, we stopped over to the Rio as he was preparing, going through his final rehearsals before his first show with the Las Vegas Chippendales.
- 21:57Sean McAllister: And uh, Dana, you had some hard.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: Hitting questions for Glem.
- 22:01Dayna Roselli: I did.
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: It was fun to talk to him.
- 22:03Dayna Roselli: I really enjoyed our conversation.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: I'm bringing Prince Charming from Dancing with the Stars with a ton of dance experience and training.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: That's what people want.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: You know, that's people want, and what my fans are always wanted.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: And it's uh You know, Dancing with the Stars, we don't take a lot of shirts off.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: We used to, not anymore.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Uh, but this is a great opportunity for me.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm super excited.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be doing a lot of dancing because I'm a dancer.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm gonna be hosting the show.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, and I'm doing um, besides the shower scene, the famous shower.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: Well, you're doing the shower scene.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, right there.
- 22:42Dayna Roselli: That's enough to get your tickets.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: Buy your tickets now.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Uh, but also I'm doing seduction.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: There's another one uh which I'm super excited for.
- 22:50Dayna Roselli: And it's exciting to be part of the Chippendales brand.
- 22:52Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's so iconic, worldwide brand.
- 22:54Dayna Roselli: Um, did you ever think you would be in a Chippendale show?
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: No.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: Uh but True story, um I was in a quick change on tour that just passed Dance with the Stars tour, and Val from Dance with the Stars uh looked at me in my underwear and said, dude, you look so good, you should do Chippendales.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: I've haven't had a thought about it.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Vini did it and he was on tour with us last year, and he was telling me how amazing it is, and like the room gets so electric and full of energy and just girls screaming, and I was like, wow, that's a really cool experience, but I've never had a thought to do it myself.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: So when Val said that, I was like, okay, so I reached out to my manager and I said, Dory, call Chippendales, I'm gonna do it.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: And that's it.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: That's how we're here.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: That's how we're here, and we're looking forward to it.
- 23:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean they the Chippendales have I love that they change up the show all the time and they're always trying to bring something fresh to it.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: So that's kind of fun, you coming in and using a little bit of your creativity too.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, a lot of fun to uh be in the show and you know, host the show.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: And to me, uh being a professional dance on the South Stars is all about my celebrity partner, right?
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, and I feel like this is my moment, it's all about Gleb Savchenko uh on stage.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Um, and just have fun, you know, and this is stage is my second home.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: This is where I feel most comfortable at, and I love to have that just kind of like the control over the audience and just feel the energy, and that's why I do what I do.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:29Dayna Roselli: What do you think of Vegas?
- 24:30Dayna Roselli: Um, I don't know if you visited here a lot before or you've just spent some time here now.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Um I've been to Vegas before, uh several times, and I love it.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: I mean the energy is crazy.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: You know what I've noticed is that every time, because I stay in a hotel, so every time I come down uh to a lobby, the everybody is there's there's like a celebration feeling.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Everybody wants to have fun, everybody's excited to see the show, to go out, to eat.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Like it that has this energy.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: There's no never like a uh a low energy moment.
- 24:59Dayna Roselli: You know, even the Chippendale show has such great music in it.
- 25:02Dayna Roselli: I mean, everyone just going in, you're like, okay, am I into this?
- 25:06Dayna Roselli: And then immediately you become into it.
- 25:08Dayna Roselli: No matter if you were reluctant to go there or your friends dragged you or whatever.
- 25:11Dayna Roselli: So I think you're gonna love it.
- 25:12Dayna Roselli: We're happy to have you here.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the boys make you if you don't want it, they'll make you want it.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know.
- 25:19Dayna Roselli: They do, they make you want it.
- 25:21Dayna Roselli: I thought it was interesting when he talked about that they they don't go shirtless on dancing with the stars anymore.
- 25:26Dayna Roselli: That is, or they're not allowed to, right?
- 25:28Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 25:28Sean McAllister: I wonder if that's part of the Disney effect of owning ABC.
- 25:32Dayna Roselli: Maybe, maybe.
- 25:33Sean McAllister: The Disnification of Dancing with the Stars.
- 25:36Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 25:36Dayna Roselli: Well, listen, um, he mentioned he's doing that shower scene in the show, and I am there for it.
- 25:42Sean McAllister: Not only is shirt coming off.
- 25:43Dayna Roselli: I know, it's a great scene, but it you know, it's so fun.
- 25:47Dayna Roselli: Listen, and like I know we have a lot of male listeners are who are like, all right, Roselli, move on.
- 25:52Dayna Roselli: But here's the deal like, no matter what, and we always talk about this.
- 25:56Dayna Roselli: I get so much joy going to those shows and Magic Mike, Thunder, Chippendales, and watching everyone have such a good time and letting loose, because that is what Vegas is about.
- 26:07Dayna Roselli: And you know, we are spoiled.
- 26:11Dayna Roselli: We live here, we see shows, we go to male review shows, women, you know, fantasy, all these shows, and it's kind of normal to us.
- 26:18Dayna Roselli: It is, and it's fun still, and it's elevated and it's different, but watching other people have the time of their life doing something that they have never done before or seen before, and then you got the music and the vibe, and celebrating whether it's just a girls' group, a guy's group, a bachelor party, a bachelorette, a birthday party.
- 26:38Dayna Roselli: Maybe it's grandma's 80th.
- 26:39Dayna Roselli: I've seen that, you know.
- 26:40Sean McAllister: I've seen that too.
- 26:42Dayna Roselli: So it's fun.
- 26:43Dayna Roselli: And people shouldn't knock shows like that when they're like, uh no, I'm not going to do the show.
- 26:48Dayna Roselli: You know, it's like, go, it's fun.
- 26:50Sean McAllister: Well, and here's the thing the audience is predominantly a female audience.
- 26:54Sean McAllister: However, there are a good number of guys who go with their uh best friend during her bachelorette or whatever.
- 27:03Sean McAllister: Groups of guys have even I've seen over at those shows.
- 27:07Sean McAllister: But I think the like you're saying, the most go too to you know, get things off to a nice start before they go finish the evening somewhere.
- 27:18Sean McAllister: Um what I find so entertaining is the fact that when people step into these theaters, it's like almost a zone where no one's watching and anything goes.
- 27:32Sean McAllister: Like people feel those inhibitions just completely dropped away, especially once the show gets started.
- 27:40Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 27:40Sean McAllister: And people are feeding off the energy of other people in the audience, and pretty soon like everybody is laughing, clapping, getting up, cheering on the people who are going up on stage.
- 27:55Sean McAllister: It's it's so fun.
- 27:59Dayna Roselli: It is, and it's a show, it is, you know, right, and it's just and an experience.
- 28:03Dayna Roselli: It is so fun.
- 28:04Dayna Roselli: I I love it.
- 28:05Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 28:06Dayna Roselli: I think it's great.
- 28:07Dayna Roselli: You can go see Gleb for a limited time at the Rio Las Vegas.
- 28:10Dayna Roselli: Um, and you know, like I said, this uh is a limited engagement.
- 28:13Dayna Roselli: He's just there April 25th through May 12th.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: So uh three weeks only, but um yeah, he is so excited about this that I can't wait.
- 28:22Dayna Roselli: We're going on Friday night, so I can't wait to see the show, and I think it's gonna be so much fun.
- 28:28Dayna Roselli: And you know, he even mentioned um if you're a housewives person, anyone, um, you know, he's worked with on Dancing with the Stars a lot of the Housewives.
- 28:36Dayna Roselli: I think um Lisa Vanderpump was one of his first dancing partners, I think he was saying, and Erica Jane.
- 28:41Sean McAllister: Erica Jane.
- 28:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and so he's you know, he knows that Erica had a show over at House of Blues and Lisa's got her restaurants in town.
- 28:47Dayna Roselli: And I have a feeling we can expect some of them to show up.
- 28:50Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I also have a feeling that if Gleb enjoys this run of uh three weeks, that he may be back for more.
- 28:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I agree.
- 28:59Dayna Roselli: Then he's going off to Jersey too in the summer.
- 29:01Dayna Roselli: He's doing the Jersey shore chip in uh Atlantic City, yeah.
- 29:04Dayna Roselli: The Atlantic City, yeah.
- 29:05Dayna Roselli: So I think, oh my gosh, Jersey's gonna eat him up.
- 29:08Dayna Roselli: I'm from Jersey, I know what's going on over there.
- 29:12Dayna Roselli: All right, let's do some tips.
- 29:16Sean McAllister: Well, this is the time of year to take advantage of some beautiful Las Vegas spring weather.
- 29:24Sean McAllister: And one of the ways that you can do that is uh some outdoor movie nights.
- 29:30Sean McAllister: We have things that pop up uh on the strip and across the Las Vegas Valley where this happens.
- 29:36Sean McAllister: But the latest movie venue is the Oasis Pool over at Fountain Blue.
- 29:43Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is cool because even when we say springtime, it can get pretty hot during the day.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: However, once that sun goes down, the weather is perfect.
- 29:50Dayna Roselli: And so it's great to be able to watch a movie out on a pool deck.
- 29:55Dayna Roselli: And this is gonna go all through the summer, because even our summer nights, you know, even though again it does get so hot during the day, the nights can feel just perfect and warm and and and comfortable.
- 30:05Dayna Roselli: So the Fountain Blue is doing uh movie night.
- 30:08Dayna Roselli: It's the Oasis Cinema Club series, and it kicks off May 5th and goes through September 1st.
- 30:14Dayna Roselli: Now, here's the deal though, it's for hotel guests and Las Vegas locals.
- 30:19Dayna Roselli: So if you're staying at another property, you can't just get in, you have to be staying at the Fountain Blue or be a Las Vegas local.
- 30:25Dayna Roselli: Las Vegas Locals, it's only five bucks.
- 30:28Dayna Roselli: Hotel guests, it's free.
- 30:30Dayna Roselli: And they have a whole lineup of different movies that they're showing.
- 30:34Dayna Roselli: Um, doors at 7 p.m., movies at 8 p.m.
- 30:38Dayna Roselli: They're showing Coco, Mamma Mia, Barbie, Mean Girls, Ted, Top Gun Maverick, Father of the Bride, Pretty Woman.
- 30:45Dayna Roselli: It's a great lineup.
- 30:47Sean McAllister: So again, this is May 5th through September 1st, each Sunday, out on the Oasis pool deck uh throughout the summer.
- 30:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you can go to FountainblueLosvegas.com and then you'll find a tab there.
- 30:59Dayna Roselli: Um, it's backslash oasis-cinema dash club if you want to go directly there.
- 31:04Dayna Roselli: We'll put the link in our show notes as well.
- 31:07Sean McAllister: Well, Dana, earlier you mentioned that we had another brunch option in tips.
- 31:13Sean McAllister: So here it is.
- 31:14Sean McAllister: This is in uh kind of an unusual, not unusual, but it's not your typical Las Vegas brunch.
- 31:21Sean McAllister: This one is over at the Venetian in the Grand Canal shops at Flight Club.
- 31:26Sean McAllister: We've talked about Flight Club before.
- 31:27Sean McAllister: This is the social darts venue, but that is really a great spot, and I wish that more people uh got over there.
- 31:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah, Flight Club can be hard to find because it is there in the canal shops, and I know they bank a lot on and do well with convention business, but we love to let people know that it's there because it's a fun spot, it's a nice spot, it's different, it's unique, it's fun, and um you need to go.
- 31:54Dayna Roselli: And they've started this brunch, so this might be a way to get you there.
- 31:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it's not just Sundays, their brunch is on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.
- 32:04Sean McAllister: to 3 p.m.
- 32:06Sean McAllister: So you can walk in or make a reservation to make sure that you have a spot, but there's a variety of uh food and drink options you can do a la carte or there's bundles that you can look into.
- 32:19Sean McAllister: I've taken my family there to Flight Club when they've been in town, and we had an absolute blast.
- 32:26Sean McAllister: I mean, we grew up, you know, playing darts in East Coast bars.
- 32:31Sean McAllister: So this was like kind of a throwback to that.
- 32:34Sean McAllister: And it's and but it's taken to a high-tech level, right?
- 32:38Dayna Roselli: Modern, very modern, and they do have windows in there where you can see the strip.
- 32:43Dayna Roselli: It's actually strip side, so it's a little bit of a view as well.
- 32:46Sean McAllister: And their cocktail menu is great.
- 32:49Sean McAllister: I have not had a cocktail there that I didn't like.
- 32:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 32:53Dayna Roselli: Love that they're doing a brunch.
- 32:54Dayna Roselli: I mean, why not?
- 32:55Dayna Roselli: People, and I love the Saturday and Sunday thing because sometimes, you know what, Sunday brunch just doesn't fit in the schedule, but Saturday does.
- 33:01Sean McAllister: Very true.
- 33:03Dayna Roselli: Listen, thanks for listening, everyone.
- 33:05Dayna Roselli: Uh, we love sharing all these experiences with you.
- 33:08Dayna Roselli: We have a lot coming up that we're gonna be doing.
- 33:10Dayna Roselli: We just filled out our entire May calendar, and um, as usual, we're we're stressed but excited about how much is going on.
- 33:17Sean McAllister: We've got a lot to bring in.
- 33:19Dayna Roselli: Oh, we really do, right?
- 33:20Sean McAllister: Over the next month.
- 33:21Dayna Roselli: We'll be interviewing Sammy Hagar at some point for his new Sammy's Island over at the Palms.
- 33:26Dayna Roselli: We've got the uh Power of Love Gala, which is gonna be star-studded, and they're honoring Blake Shelton this year, but other people are going to be there to celebrate and raise money for uh the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
- 33:42Sean McAllister: And we've got uh lots of restaurants and pools and brunches.
- 33:48Sean McAllister: The whole calendar is absolutely packed.
- 33:51Sean McAllister: So lots of good stuff coming your way uh throughout the next month and beyond right here on Vegas Revealed.
- 33:58Sean McAllister: And as always, uh thank you to our presenting sponsor, Level Up Law.
- 34:04Sean McAllister: Also, thank you to our sponsor, Vegas Near Me.
- 34:08Sean McAllister: You can find the Vegas Near Me app in Google Play and on the Apple App Store.
- 34:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and a little note on that, um, I saw one of the uh folks, influencers, bloggers on Twitter talk about how they mistakenly said a place was closed because on Yelp and some other app it said it was closed permanently, but that they were wrong and they don't know why.
- 34:32Dayna Roselli: And it made me think Vegas Near Me updates those hours and closures and temporary closures all the time.
- 34:39Dayna Roselli: They're so specific about that.
- 34:41Dayna Roselli: So I recommend definitely downloading Vegas Near Me because they work so hard at keeping all the information current, and that's why I think it's really good.
- 34:52Sean McAllister: Yeah, it is.
- 34:52Sean McAllister: It's uh your go to guide for all things Las Vegas right there in your pocket.
- 34:58Dayna Roselli: Have a great week, everyone.
