- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Reader Panalty Show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Riata Panalty Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 3: up tonight a housing minister who has absolutely no idea
- 0:15Speaker 3: how much housing costs. I'll speak to Dan Wild about
- 0:18Speaker 3: that shortly. Also tonight your taxes funding junk research, linking
- 0:23Speaker 3: red meat with toxic masculinity. Will have the latest from
- 0:27Speaker 3: the US with Alex Stein also joining me Tonight the
- 0:31Speaker 3: Great Professor in Plymer, and later in the hour Kinsis
- 0:34Speaker 3: Schofield with the latest celebrities jumping on the Trump bandwagon,
- 0:39Speaker 3: and your favorite segment and wine that is losing.
- 0:43Speaker 4: It Our resistance will be talked about regenerations.
- 0:51Speaker 3: But first, New South Wales housing minister Rose Jackson has
- 0:55Speaker 3: come under fire for claiming in an ABC radio interview
- 0:58Speaker 3: that renting a two bedroom apartment in Sydney costs just
- 1:03Speaker 3: a couple of hundred bucks.
- 1:05Speaker 5: What do you reckon is a reasonable price to pay
- 1:08Speaker 5: in rent for a two bedroom flat in Sydney?
- 1:10Speaker 6: H Well, I mean it kind of depends where in Sydney.
- 1:14Speaker 6: I mean Sydney's a big city, you know, I mean
- 1:18Speaker 6: a couple one hundred bucks?
- 1:20Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:20Speaker 7: Like, where can you get a two bedroom flat for
- 1:23Speaker 7: a couple of hundred bucks well a week.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I don't know there are places in Sydney you can
- 1:27Speaker 3: I mean you know, is like there's a.
- 1:29Speaker 6: Two bedroom flat and there's a two bedroom flat. Like
- 1:31Speaker 6: not all flats are the same.
- 1:33Speaker 3: According to the Tenancy Union of New South Wales, just
- 1:36Speaker 3: twenty three of the around twenty five thousand two bedroom
- 1:40Speaker 3: apartments rented out in the Greater Sydney area since July
- 1:44Speaker 3: were priced at two hundred dollars a week or less,
- 1:47Speaker 3: and the latest rental data shows that the median rental
- 1:51Speaker 3: price for a unit in Sydney from June to September
- 1:55Speaker 3: was seven hundred and twenty dollars a week. The minister
- 1:59Speaker 3: has since taken social media to explain her gaff. BIB
- 2:03Speaker 3: radio is a hard format.
- 2:04Speaker 8: You're on the phone, you can't.
- 2:06Speaker 3: See the other person. Sometimes you get a bit garbled,
- 2:10Speaker 3: sometimes your words get a bit mangled. Seriously joining me
- 2:13Speaker 3: now is Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Public Affairs,
- 2:17Speaker 3: Dan Wild. Dan, how can she be that clueless? I
- 2:22Speaker 3: don't think there's hardly anyone in the country, regardless of
- 2:25Speaker 3: where they live in Australia, who would be in any
- 2:29Speaker 3: doubt about how expensive property is in Sydney to buy
- 2:34Speaker 3: or to rent, To have a housing minister from New
- 2:37Speaker 3: South Wales think that you can get a two bedroom
- 2:40Speaker 3: apartment for perhaps a couple of hundred dollars, just completely
- 2:44Speaker 3: divorced from reality.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Well it is.
- 2:48Speaker 9: It was a shocker, and you know, the cover up
- 2:50Speaker 9: was actually worse than the crime, as it often is.
- 2:53Speaker 9: I mean, she's a senior politician, a cabinet minister, with
- 2:58Speaker 9: the housing portfolio, one of the most common sequential portfolios.
- 3:02Speaker 9: It touches the lives of every single person in her
- 3:04Speaker 9: state and then to say I was doing radio interviews
- 3:08Speaker 9: is hard and you know, so forth, well, that's sort
- 3:10Speaker 9: of your job is to be able to communicate those
- 3:12Speaker 9: things to the public.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So I don't understand why she would say that.
- 3:16Speaker 9: Look, it just gets to this point that whether it's
- 3:18Speaker 9: in New South Wales, whether it's at the federal level,
- 3:20Speaker 9: housing ministers just don't have a clue about what is
- 3:23Speaker 9: happening in the day to day lives of Australians. I mean,
- 3:26Speaker 9: the housing crisis has continued now for a few years
- 3:29Speaker 9: because of unplanned mass migration, which is cranking up the
- 3:32Speaker 9: demand and at the state level, we've got all of
- 3:35Speaker 9: these restrictions on the development of housing, particularly urban growth,
- 3:39Speaker 9: with the red tape and the cost of doing that.
- 3:41Speaker 9: Climate policies as well, which add to the cost and
- 3:44Speaker 9: green tape. So look, I think Australians would expect a
- 3:47Speaker 9: lot better from their political leaders to have the basic
- 3:50Speaker 9: understanding of what's happening. Well, there's lots of issues there, reader,
- 3:55Speaker 9: And you know, okay, you might not know the exact
- 3:58Speaker 9: cost of rentals to the zach dollar, but to say
- 4:01Speaker 9: it's two hundred bucks a week in Sydney, I mean,
- 4:04Speaker 9: how far how far detached from reality can you be?
- 4:10Speaker 3: It's incredible. It's just it was just so far out.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I don't like those gotcha questions necessarily for politicians, like
- 4:18Speaker 3: how much is a loaf of bread or a liter
- 4:20Speaker 3: of milk? I think for them to know that exactly
- 4:24Speaker 3: or not is not a huge issue. But to be
- 4:27Speaker 3: that completely wrong if it would be like a politician
- 4:31Speaker 3: saying a loaf of bread is ten cents, it's like
- 4:35Speaker 3: that divorce from reality. Now let's go to Federal Education
- 4:40Speaker 3: Minister Jason Claire. He's been opining about the war between
- 4:44Speaker 3: Israel and Hermas and I think it was quite proud
- 4:47Speaker 3: of this line because he posted it himself to X
- 4:50Speaker 3: formally Twitter.
- 4:52Speaker 1: You can't bomb your way to peace, you know.
- 4:54Speaker 10: I think the last twelve months have shown.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Us that He also tweeted that you can't bomb your
- 4:59Speaker 3: way to peace.
- 5:01Speaker 11: Dan.
- 5:01Speaker 3: He seems to have a profound ignorance of how World
- 5:05Speaker 3: War two and did, and many other conflicts often that
- 5:11Speaker 3: is what happens in war.
- 5:15Speaker 9: Well, that's right, I mean he should stick to his knitting.
- 5:18Speaker 9: The fact that you've got an education minister that doesn't
- 5:20Speaker 9: understand history, I think tells you everything you need to
- 5:23Speaker 9: know about the problems in our education system. More generally,
- 5:26Speaker 9: you know, peace through strength is what defeated the Soviet Union.
- 5:29Speaker 9: That was the Reagan Thatcher doctrine. Trump is going to
- 5:33Speaker 9: go in that direction as well, in terms of trying to,
- 5:35Speaker 9: you know, show our adversaries overseas that you know, we've
- 5:39Speaker 9: got a serious arsenal of military capabilities and if we
- 5:42Speaker 9: need to use it, we will.
- 5:44Speaker 1: That is how you go about these things.
- 5:47Speaker 9: The reality is that Jason Clair is only saying this,
- 5:49Speaker 9: as we know, because he's his seat is in Western
- 5:52Speaker 9: Sydney and he's under pressure because of the large constituency
- 5:56Speaker 9: of Muslims. They're in his seat and this is something
- 5:59Speaker 9: that's been dry I think Labor Party policy which has
- 6:02Speaker 9: been enormously disappointing when it comes to the Middle East. So,
- 6:05Speaker 9: you know, the Education Minister should really stick to his
- 6:08Speaker 9: knitting and stick to his patch because he's got this
- 6:10Speaker 9: one badly wrong and it shows just out of how
- 6:13Speaker 9: out of touch he is with reality and with history.
- 6:16Speaker 1: As you rightly point.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Out, Victoria University has released the findings of a study
- 6:24Speaker 3: about the psychology behind men's meat consumption. You're going to
- 6:28Speaker 3: love this, Dand apparently the academics thing men eat red
- 6:32Speaker 3: meat for masculinity and sexual prowess a psychologist. This was
- 6:38Speaker 3: led by a psychology lecture. D. It wasn't led by
- 6:42Speaker 3: a scientist, but this lecturer on his team apparently concluded
- 6:50Speaker 3: that men don't want to give up red meat because
- 6:53Speaker 3: it would be the equivalent of giving up their masculinity.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Even though they claim here that consuming meat is slowly
- 7:00Speaker 3: killing men, the Victorian Uni researchers here making all sorts
- 7:06Speaker 3: of claims. It seems to be highly ideological. Dan, I'd
- 7:10Speaker 3: love your considered take on this research.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Well, I'm happy to undertake a very detailed study tour
- 7:20Speaker 9: of red meat around Australia and report back.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'd be happy to do that.
- 7:24Speaker 9: Look, I eat red meat because it tastes good and
- 7:27Speaker 9: Australia has got the best meat in the world with
- 7:29Speaker 9: our farmers. So you know, this is just another example
- 7:33Speaker 9: of these activists that they just are out of touch
- 7:35Speaker 9: and they don't get it. The reality is that it's
- 7:38Speaker 9: not just men that eat red meat as well. By
- 7:40Speaker 9: the way, I mean women eat red meat. I don't
- 7:42Speaker 9: understand where this idea came from that it's only it's
- 7:45Speaker 9: only for men, and it's an expression of masculinity. I mean,
- 7:49Speaker 9: people have been eating red meat since time immemorial, you know,
- 7:53Speaker 9: only now has apparently become an issue. So you know,
- 7:56Speaker 9: we know that there's this activist class that seeks to
- 7:58Speaker 9: link anything they don't like, either to climate change or
- 8:02Speaker 9: to toxic masculinity. And this is yet another example. But look,
- 8:06Speaker 9: I'm going to keep eating red meat. Don't worry about that.
- 8:08Speaker 9: And I think most Australians have common sense and they'll
- 8:12Speaker 9: go about their habits as they wish, not paying attention
- 8:15Speaker 9: to these unelected activists.
- 8:19Speaker 3: And the experts. I listened to just say we should
- 8:21Speaker 3: all be eating more red meat, we should be eating
- 8:24Speaker 3: more protein, and it keeps us young and healthy. Now,
- 8:29Speaker 3: let's take a look at this picture from yesterday's UFC event.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It's a President elect Donald Trump. You can see they're
- 8:37Speaker 3: the world's richest man. Elon Mask, Tulsey Gabbard and RFK Junior.
- 8:42Speaker 3: This was at Madison Square Garden for UFC three O nine.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I'll be talking to Alex Stein about this event a
- 8:49Speaker 3: little bit later, but have a look at that picture, Dad,
- 8:52Speaker 3: and marvel at the fact that every single person there
- 8:57Speaker 3: was a former Democrat. This political re alignment that we
- 9:00Speaker 3: are seeing in America is extraordinary. We're seeing signs of
- 9:05Speaker 3: it here, not just signs. I would say the last
- 9:07Speaker 3: three elections has been clear evidence of it. We've seen
- 9:10Speaker 3: it in the UK and it's stunning to see these
- 9:15Speaker 3: people who are going to be making up Trump's administration
- 9:19Speaker 3: were all once part of the Democrats tent.
- 9:24Speaker 9: Well, that's right, reader, I mean the Republican Party is
- 9:26Speaker 9: now the National Unity Party. They've got people on all
- 9:29Speaker 9: sides of politics that are in their administration and it's
- 9:32Speaker 9: amazing that Trump has been the one that has actually
- 9:34Speaker 9: brought or is now starting to bring the country together
- 9:38Speaker 9: with astually say former Democrats having key roles or Democrat
- 9:41Speaker 9: voters and supporters having key roles in his administration. This
- 9:46Speaker 9: is the realignment, which is those who used to be Democrats.
- 9:49Speaker 9: And you can probably put Joe Rogan in that camp
- 9:51Speaker 9: as well, at least someone who was on the left
- 9:53Speaker 9: and said, well, you know, I was on the left
- 9:55Speaker 9: because yeah, I support free speech and civil liberties and
- 9:59Speaker 9: so forth.
- 10:00Speaker 1: They lived through COVID, they lived.
- 10:01Speaker 9: Through the lockdowns, They saw what happened in California, you know,
- 10:04Speaker 9: a Democrat state, and in New York, a Democrat state
- 10:07Speaker 9: that went the furthest in imposing lockdowns and curfews and
- 10:11Speaker 9: mandates on their citizens. And so that's driven a lot
- 10:13Speaker 9: of this, you know, particularly when you talk about RFK
- 10:16Speaker 9: Junior and his concerns about health and the medical bureaucracy
- 10:19Speaker 9: and so forth. Look, we're living through a fascinating time,
- 10:23Speaker 9: but through a time of immense opportunity. There's a lot
- 10:26Speaker 9: of opportunity to make our societies better. You mentioned the
- 10:30Speaker 9: UK and Australia, so we've got a way to go
- 10:33Speaker 9: in Australia. But I'm very positive about what the future brings.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Let's have a look at this ridiculous rant from alleged
- 10:43Speaker 3: comic John Oliver. He thinks that there is no safety
- 10:47Speaker 3: threat in having male students, male bodies compete against females,
- 10:52Speaker 3: something that is obviously false. There's plenty of examples of it,
- 10:56Speaker 3: and it was a huge election issue. Dan, This was
- 11:00Speaker 3: a significant election issue in the US presidential election. It
- 11:04Speaker 3: should be an issue here. But let's have her listen
- 11:06Speaker 3: to John Oliver first.
- 11:08Speaker 12: And it was frustrating to see the Harris campaign failed
- 11:11Speaker 12: to formulate a response, especially because it's pretty easy to do.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Watch.
- 11:15Speaker 12: I'll do it for you right now. As we've discussed before,
- 11:17Speaker 12: there are vanishingly few trans girls competing in high schools anywhere.
- 11:21Speaker 12: Even if there were more trans kids, like all kids,
- 11:23Speaker 12: very in athletic ability, and there is no evidence they'd
- 11:25Speaker 12: pose any threat to safety or fairness. It is very
- 11:28Speaker 12: weird for you to be so focused on this subject.
- 11:31Speaker 12: And finally, if you genuinely want to address the biggest
- 11:33Speaker 12: concern for most girls who play high school sports, you've
- 11:36Speaker 12: been less worried about this and more about the creepy
- 11:38Speaker 12: assistant volleyball coach who keeps liking their poste.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Oh dear temps at humor, but just basically everything he
- 11:47Speaker 3: said there was a lie. Even JK. Rowling, who likes
- 11:52Speaker 3: all of those worked with him, went on x and
- 11:55Speaker 3: posted a lengthy fact check and shit, this is part
- 11:59Speaker 3: of what she post that she said. According to the UN,
- 12:02Speaker 3: female athletes have lost nearly nine hundred medals to transidentified
- 12:06Speaker 3: men competing against them in women's sporting categories. Girls have
- 12:10Speaker 3: been ousted from teams to make way for boys. Women
- 12:13Speaker 3: have suffered serious injury playing against transidentified men. It was
- 12:19Speaker 3: a lengthy post. I won't read out the whole thing,
- 12:21Speaker 3: but it just proves again Dan, that the likes of
- 12:25Speaker 3: John Oliver are determined to stay ignorant on this issue,
- 12:29Speaker 3: and they just don't understand why it matters to people,
- 12:34Speaker 3: Why parents care about this, why people who care about
- 12:37Speaker 3: fairness are invested in this issue.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Well, exactly right.
- 12:43Speaker 9: I mean, you've got to perform all these mental gymnastics
- 12:47Speaker 9: to convince yourself that there's no physical difference between men
- 12:52Speaker 9: and women. Of course there is. I mean, it's just
- 12:55Speaker 9: common sense. Its as plain as the nose on your face.
- 12:57Speaker 9: And it was a big election issue in the US.
- 13:00Speaker 9: I mean Megan Kelly came out and endorsed Trump right
- 13:04Speaker 9: at the ending.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I think it was in Pennsylvania.
- 13:06Speaker 9: She did that, saying that Trump was going to protect
- 13:08Speaker 9: women because he's going to deal with this issue, to
- 13:10Speaker 9: deal with men and women's sports. So it was an
- 13:13Speaker 9: issue there. It is an issue in Australia, all around
- 13:15Speaker 9: the Western world. Everybody knows it. And of course we
- 13:18Speaker 9: want to have empathy and have fairness towards those who
- 13:21Speaker 9: choose to change their identity and so forth. But you've
- 13:23Speaker 9: got to draw the line somewhere, and this is where
- 13:25Speaker 9: you draw the line. You draw the line when women
- 13:28Speaker 9: are in physical danger of being harmed or hurt by
- 13:32Speaker 9: men who are in their spaces.
- 13:34Speaker 1: That's where the line is.
- 13:35Speaker 9: As a society, it's pretty clear that that's where the
- 13:37Speaker 9: vast majority of us believe it should be. And I
- 13:39Speaker 9: don't understand why it's so difficult for the establishment to
- 13:42Speaker 9: understand that this is an issue that parents are concerned
- 13:45Speaker 9: about and it must be dealt with.
- 13:47Speaker 1: In Australia.
- 13:47Speaker 9: We do have some people, you know, Claire Chandler, Alexantik
- 13:50Speaker 9: and others in the Senate who have been speaking out.
- 13:53Speaker 9: But I hope this becomes more of a mainstream issue
- 13:55Speaker 9: in the lead up to our election here early next year.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Absolutely needs to be talked about here in the US.
- 14:03Speaker 3: It has been debated for some time, and it's not
- 14:05Speaker 3: just an issue of safety, that's obviously hugely important, but
- 14:09Speaker 3: it's also an issue of fairness and opportunity. When you're
- 14:12Speaker 3: taking away a young girl's young athletes opportunity away to
- 14:16Speaker 3: give it to a mediocre, male bodied athlete, that's just
- 14:20Speaker 3: not okay. And you're right, it was a huge issue.
- 14:24Speaker 3: In fact, there was some research that has come out
- 14:26Speaker 3: showing that for swing voters, who really do decide every election,
- 14:30Speaker 3: it was a number one issue dan ahead of inflation,
- 14:33Speaker 3: ahead of the border crisis. Before you go, let's hear
- 14:37Speaker 3: from Reform UK Party leader Nigel Farage, who says that
- 14:41Speaker 3: the truth behind the Southport murders is even worse than
- 14:47Speaker 3: what is being reported. After we learned that the suspect
- 14:52Speaker 3: has been charged with terror offenses, I know a hell.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Of a lot more for the British public, note, a
- 14:58Speaker 2: hell of a lot more. I've been completely silenced now,
- 15:03Speaker 2: I'm told with the Speaker of the House of Commons,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I can't ask questions about it. In the House of Commons.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Parliamentary privilege is out of the window. Even rumors today
- 15:13Speaker 2: that the court case which is due in January, every
- 15:16Speaker 2: effort is being made to defer it. Right, Yeah, this
- 15:20Speaker 2: is what's going on. We are witnessing one of the
- 15:29Speaker 2: biggest cover ups we've ever seen in our lives.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Dan Kistarma has some serious questions to answer.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Well, it seems that way.
- 15:42Speaker 9: Obviously we don't know any details here, but you know,
- 15:44Speaker 9: I'm in sense chills up my spine to think that
- 15:47Speaker 9: there'd be a cover up about this. I mean, how
- 15:50Speaker 9: much worse can it really get? But from what Nigel
- 15:52Speaker 9: Farage is saying, it sounds like this could be, you know,
- 15:56Speaker 9: something very serious. So let's keep an eye on the
- 15:59Speaker 9: details that come out.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Daniel Will thanks for your time joining me now is
- 16:06Speaker 3: leading geologist and author Professor Ian Plymer, Professor COP twenty
- 16:11Speaker 3: nine is underway, and our favorite minister Chris Bowen is there.
- 16:16Speaker 3: The president of the host country as a Viajean had
- 16:18Speaker 3: some choice words to say about the Renewables hoax that
- 16:22Speaker 3: shocked a lot of people. We've spoken previously about the
- 16:25Speaker 3: Taliban being at this conference. Tell me what is Australia
- 16:30Speaker 3: hoping to gain from this conference. We've recently had Anthony
- 16:34Speaker 3: Alberezi telling the APEC leaders that Australia was on its
- 16:38Speaker 3: way to being a renewables energy superpower. Is that something
- 16:43Speaker 3: that is likely or even desirable?
- 16:47Speaker 7: Well, mister Bowen is with his cringeworthy colleagues Azerbayan for
- 16:52Speaker 7: a conference, and the aim of the conference is for
- 16:55Speaker 7: some countries to screw other countries. Some countries we've got
- 16:59Speaker 7: the energy to Eton's right and who are actually wealthy
- 17:03Speaker 7: countries are now having enormous pressure put on them to
- 17:08Speaker 7: pay up. Now, Albos in Brazil not because he's wasting
- 17:14Speaker 7: taxpayers money on a jaunt to go and see something
- 17:17Speaker 7: that many people want to see, and that's the Amazonian rainforest.
- 17:21Speaker 7: Albo's gone to Brazil to have a look at the
- 17:23Speaker 7: balsa wood industry and the bolts of wood comes out
- 17:27Speaker 7: of the Amazon rainforests and we use balsa wood in
- 17:30Speaker 7: turbine blades.
- 17:31Speaker 11: It's strong and it's light. So he is watching the
- 17:35Speaker 11: Brazilian rainforest being destroyed. Then for China to use that
- 17:40Speaker 11: bols of wood to build our turbine blades, and we
- 17:42Speaker 11: have to do it. Our forests to do it.
- 17:45Speaker 7: It's a fendously cunning program where he is getting ahead
- 17:48Speaker 7: of the game and he is going to make us
- 17:51Speaker 7: the renewable energy country.
- 17:53Speaker 11: Of the world.
- 17:54Speaker 7: And all these oil producing countries like the Middle East,
- 17:57Speaker 7: like the US, like Aserbayan, they're going to be envious.
- 18:01Speaker 7: So Chris Boone is, they're making them envious of us,
- 18:04Speaker 7: sending ourselves break and elbows in Brazil, making sure they
- 18:09Speaker 7: destroy their rainforest while.
- 18:10Speaker 11: We destroy our rainforests. It's a fiendously cunning election winning plan.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I tell you, I remember the days when you actually
- 18:20Speaker 3: were protesting to save the Brazilian rainforest, when you cared
- 18:23Speaker 3: about the environment. You cared about things like preserving the
- 18:27Speaker 3: Brazilian rainforest and our own. But now they're wanting to
- 18:31Speaker 3: tear it down. So we're going to have material for
- 18:34Speaker 3: these wind turbines. And interestingly, Anthony Albanese has received praise
- 18:40Speaker 3: from the Chinese Communist Party in the China Daily newspaper,
- 18:45Speaker 3: which said that other nations should follow Anthony Albanese's example
- 18:50Speaker 3: in cooperating with China. What are your thoughts on that?
- 18:54Speaker 7: Well, I get praised by the devil when I've had
- 18:56Speaker 7: a big night I can hear the devil talk going
- 18:58Speaker 7: to be saying, you're doing the.
- 18:59Speaker 11: Great, keep it up, you're helping my cause.
- 19:03Speaker 7: And this is executive situation that Albozi and he's got
- 19:06Speaker 7: the Gina's dictator putting his arm around and patting him on.
- 19:09Speaker 11: The head, saying, are you a wonderful little boy? Keep
- 19:11Speaker 11: it up. We'll keep you under control, and try to
- 19:14Speaker 11: use that to leave off other countries to keep them
- 19:16Speaker 11: under control. Now only a mug would fall for that.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Now, Donald Trump has nominated the founder and CEO of
- 19:26Speaker 3: oil company Liberty, Chris Right, to be the US Energy Secretary.
- 19:32Speaker 3: He is a bold choice professor plymer. Here are some
- 19:36Speaker 3: of his thoughts on climate change.
- 19:38Speaker 13: There's no climate crisis, and we're not in the midst
- 19:41Speaker 13: of an energy transition either. Humans in all complex life
- 19:45Speaker 13: on Earth is simply impossible without carbon dioxide in the
- 19:49Speaker 13: oxide does indeed absorb infra red radiation, contributing to warming.
- 19:54Speaker 13: But calling carbon dioxide pollution is like calling out water
- 19:58Speaker 13: and oxygen, the other two irreplaceable molecules for life on Earth.
- 20:04Speaker 3: And and before I get your response to that, let's
- 20:07Speaker 3: listen to him talk about the cost of climate change action.
- 20:11Speaker 10: Immag change may not be exactly what you think it is.
- 20:14Speaker 10: It's a real thing, but it's actually sort of a
- 20:17Speaker 10: slow moving in our lifetimes, relatively modest phenomenon that's just
- 20:22Speaker 10: been wildly abused for political reasons. But the cost of
- 20:27Speaker 10: that is enormous in human lives and human opportunity.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I Trump picking Chris Right, a fossil fuel magnate, for
- 20:36Speaker 3: this position, is a sure sign that he's going to
- 20:39Speaker 3: take the US in the direction of energy independence. This
- 20:43Speaker 3: was a election promise. What's that going to mean for
- 20:47Speaker 3: Australia and our bold omission targets.
- 20:51Speaker 11: Well, mister Trump has chosen someone to be Energy Secretary
- 20:55Speaker 11: who knows something about energy, rather than being a political
- 20:59Speaker 11: hack or an idea logue. In this country, we've.
- 21:02Speaker 7: Got someone who is the Minister for Energy and Climate
- 21:05Speaker 7: who knows absolutely nothing about the background of energy, the
- 21:09Speaker 7: background of climate and science, and the actual engineering difficulties
- 21:14Speaker 7: in having US a renewable country.
- 21:16Speaker 11: It's chalk and cheese. So mister Trump has actually chosen
- 21:20Speaker 11: someone who is really knowledgeable, whereas in this country we're
- 21:24Speaker 11: in the dark. We have idea logs trying to reinvent
- 21:27Speaker 11: energy processes, trying to tell us how to run grids,
- 21:30Speaker 11: and it's no wonder our electricity prices have gone up.
- 21:32Speaker 11: It's no wonder we are facing energy doom. So I
- 21:37Speaker 11: think it's an inspired appointment. And unless we have a
- 21:40Speaker 11: change of government, we're heading towards bankruptcy.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Well, we're already behind the US, aren't we. They've already
- 21:49Speaker 3: embraced nuclear, both the Democrats and the Republicans, and even
- 21:54Speaker 3: under Barack Obama they were fracking, they were trying to
- 21:58Speaker 3: be in energy independence, so that we were behind the
- 22:01Speaker 3: eight ball. Now under Trump, who's going to be drill,
- 22:05Speaker 3: baby drilling, I think we are going to be in
- 22:08Speaker 3: all sorts of trouble. Professor Plymouth, thanks so much for
- 22:11Speaker 3: your time tonight.
- 22:12Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Still to come. Lefties Losing Ed plus the extraordinary scenes
- 22:18Speaker 3: from UFC three or nine and Mike Tyson's Fine Alex
- 22:22Speaker 3: Stein has the latest from the USA. Welcome back. Now
- 22:35Speaker 3: it's time for lefties losing it, and let's start lefties
- 22:39Speaker 3: with this dose of insanity. I will give this woman
- 22:42Speaker 3: credit because she starts off with some honesty. She calls
- 22:45Speaker 3: herself unhinged and then proceeds to act like she is unhinged.
- 22:50Speaker 14: Completely unhinged. I went to the grocery store and while
- 22:53Speaker 14: standing in line, I was trying to guess who voted
- 22:56Speaker 14: against my rates anymore. I was out of guesses. I
- 23:03Speaker 14: was out of guesses because you're like sheep and wolf's clothing,
- 23:06Speaker 14: and I just wanted to scream.
- 23:09Speaker 3: These people are insufferable, and it's wolf in sheep's clothing,
- 23:14Speaker 3: not sheep in wolf's clothing. If nursery rhyme themes confuse you,
- 23:18Speaker 3: you might explain why you're a lefty. And this next
- 23:21Speaker 3: last thinks she's brave and profound, but personally I find
- 23:26Speaker 3: her a little sad and scary.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Hoose this for a motivational phrase. Our resistance will be
- 23:35Speaker 4: talked about for generations.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Terrifying. Now, continuing the Trump derangement syndrome theme, let's check
- 23:45Speaker 3: in on this young lass who identifies as a lad
- 23:49Speaker 3: and decided to get the testosterone molecule tattooed on her
- 23:54Speaker 3: neck to resist Donald Trump.
- 23:57Speaker 8: Life is worth leving.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Why do that? I mean, do you want to be unemployable?
- 24:05Speaker 3: I'm stating the obvious here, but real men don't need
- 24:08Speaker 3: to get testosterone molecules tattooed prominently on their bodies. Because
- 24:13Speaker 3: you know why they've got that x Y chromosome. We
- 24:16Speaker 3: all have testosterone, but us ladies are lacking the y,
- 24:21Speaker 3: and no amount of ink is going to change that.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Now to a young lady who thought she was going
- 24:27Speaker 3: to be a fixture in the White House. This is
- 24:29Speaker 3: the twenty three year old daughter of Tim and Gwen
- 24:33Speaker 3: wols At, Hope Wols.
- 24:35Speaker 15: This country does not deserve Kama Harris. That woman should
- 24:39Speaker 15: go live her best life wherever she wants, doing whatever
- 24:42Speaker 15: she wants, because we don't deserve her.
- 24:43Speaker 3: At this point, I agree with that America doesn't deserve
- 24:47Speaker 3: Kamala deserves a lot better, and that's why they voted
- 24:51Speaker 3: for Donald Trump, and they're getting better with Trump and Vance.
- 24:55Speaker 3: It's good when we can all agree, isn't it now? Listeners,
- 24:58Speaker 3: Hope Walls are like all lefties li It shows she
- 25:01Speaker 3: is full of hate and loathing while claiming to be
- 25:04Speaker 3: all about love and tolerance.
- 25:07Speaker 15: These people have to live in their own skin, as
- 25:09Speaker 15: in Gedy Vans and Donald Trump have to be Gedyvans
- 25:13Speaker 15: and Donald Trump. And that is not a punishment I
- 25:16Speaker 15: would wish upon anybody except those two individuals. Yeah, so
- 25:20Speaker 15: I'm just really grateful that I am who I am,
- 25:23Speaker 15: and that I'm on the side of love and hope,
- 25:26Speaker 15: enjoy and progress.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Oh gosh, She's not new to activism. Journalists. Andy No
- 25:32Speaker 3: reports that during the deadly BLM Antifa riots in her
- 25:36Speaker 3: stage in twenty twenty, Hope leaked information about the National
- 25:41Speaker 3: Guard to inform writers when to disperse. But I have
- 25:45Speaker 3: some good news here. Hope Walls has finally taken care
- 25:49Speaker 3: of her personal hygiene and had a shower and brushed
- 25:51Speaker 3: her teeth. How do I know this because she posted
- 25:54Speaker 3: about it.
- 25:55Speaker 15: Really this morning, I woke up and decided I needed
- 25:58Speaker 15: to take a shower, and so I I finally did that,
- 26:01Speaker 15: and I did my skincare for the first time in
- 26:04Speaker 15: a couple of days. And this is very embarrassing, but
- 26:07Speaker 15: I brushed my teeth for the first time since Tuesday night.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Now to the lunatic race baiting network of MSNBC, which
- 26:15Speaker 3: has seen its primetime audience plummet by around fifty percent,
- 26:19Speaker 3: they've gone from airing diabolical lies to the sort of
- 26:23Speaker 3: slander that could and should get them sued. And I
- 26:27Speaker 3: really do hope. Pete Hechseth causes lawyers after seeing this.
- 26:32Speaker 16: Add the Secretary of Defense nominee Peter Heiseth the Fox
- 26:37Speaker 16: News commentator as well, because this is someone who weekend
- 26:40Speaker 16: host important distinction. This is someone who you know, is
- 26:47Speaker 16: known to be a white supremacist, known to be an extremist,
- 26:51Speaker 16: whose platform, whose book is basically about his opposition to
- 26:54Speaker 16: the advancement of black officers to the top.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Brass absolute lies, the ugliest of lies. I really do hope,
- 27:02Speaker 3: he sues. And over at CNN, they're trying to scare
- 27:06Speaker 3: the American people about Trump, but they just end up
- 27:10Speaker 3: making him look even cooler.
- 27:12Speaker 17: And it really looks like ancient Rome here. This is
- 27:15Speaker 17: sort of the conquering Republican caesar who's going into the
- 27:19Speaker 17: coliseum and everyone's cheering, and he's got his political gladiators
- 27:23Speaker 17: with him. That appearance isn't just about him enjoying the applause.
- 27:28Speaker 17: He's sending a message to the Senate for sure, not
- 27:31Speaker 17: only are you entertained, but these are my people and
- 27:33Speaker 17: are you willing to fight?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Because here's who I have.
- 27:35Speaker 18: And are any of us surprised by this? I feel
- 27:37Speaker 18: like for anybody who has been covering Trump's campaign or
- 27:40Speaker 18: his movement the past few years, these picks. Sure, they're
- 27:44Speaker 18: raising eyebrows to say the least, but familiar care, Yes, exactly.
- 27:49Speaker 18: They've been with him at all these rallies. They've played
- 27:52Speaker 18: a key role in where he's at now.
- 27:54Speaker 3: She's one hundred percent right. You know, these picks may
- 27:57Speaker 3: have surprised a few people, but they're backed one hundred
- 28:00Speaker 3: percent by just about every Trump voter because they knew
- 28:04Speaker 3: this was coming. These other people he's had around him,
- 28:08Speaker 3: and the moment they we're talking about there is this
- 28:11Speaker 3: rather look at it. Trump entering Madison Square Garden for
- 28:14Speaker 3: UFC three nine and hearing the thunderous applause, he walks
- 28:20Speaker 3: in with Elon Tulsey RFK and the rest of the.
- 28:23Speaker 19: Crew, who is now making his way to the World
- 28:28Speaker 19: Fantasy to guard right by.
- 28:29Speaker 9: You have some CEO Tina Wait five so forty seven,
- 28:35Speaker 9: President Molasijattle of Trump.
- 28:40Speaker 7: Please the people to come home pretty here.
- 28:44Speaker 5: The sound in this is so loud.
- 28:47Speaker 8: Here, it is so loud.
- 28:51Speaker 17: It's only comes in.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Now that is the President of Oh my god, that
- 29:00Speaker 3: whole event was incredible for so many reasons. You know what,
- 29:04Speaker 3: I've just decided here and now that I'm going to
- 29:06Speaker 3: do a top five UFC three or nine moments tomorrow night.
- 29:10Speaker 3: As long as I can get around those pesky copyright issues,
- 29:14Speaker 3: don't sue me, Dana. Let's get into more lefties with
- 29:18Speaker 3: my next guest, comedian and host of Prime Time with
- 29:21Speaker 3: Alex Stein on Blaze TV. Alex Stein. Alex the UFC
- 29:25Speaker 3: event had everything. I cannot believe the cultural shift. It
- 29:32Speaker 3: represents the past twenty four hours. You can feel it
- 29:36Speaker 3: even as far away as here in Australia. This is
- 29:40Speaker 3: different to twenty and sixteen. It's different to Trump's entire presidency.
- 29:45Speaker 3: That there are people coming out boldly, proudly who perhaps
- 29:50Speaker 3: a few years ago would have been too frightened to
- 29:52Speaker 3: do so.
- 29:54Speaker 11: Well.
- 29:54Speaker 19: You know, Rita, they always call Donald Trump a populist candidate,
- 29:57Speaker 19: but it's now more evident than I mean, it's just
- 30:01Speaker 19: so obvious that he truly is a populist candidate. And
- 30:04Speaker 19: people that you know might have politically normally been considered liberal, they're.
- 30:08Speaker 20: All on the Trump train.
- 30:09Speaker 15: Now.
- 30:10Speaker 19: You wear your MAGA hat comfortably and proud in any
- 30:12Speaker 19: city you know, from New York to California, And I
- 30:15Speaker 19: think you can tell by the response to the guy
- 30:17Speaker 19: at UFC in Madison Square Garden, that it's not just
- 30:20Speaker 19: a few areas of the country that love Donald Trump,
- 30:23Speaker 19: it's the entire country that supports Donald Trump.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Now here's the greatest UFC fisher ever in the eyes
- 30:31Speaker 3: of many UFC fans, John Jones. And this is immediately
- 30:36Speaker 3: after his big win.
- 30:41Speaker 5: The Trump das.
- 30:44Speaker 1: He did the Trump dats.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Spinning, and here he is in the postmatch interview with
- 30:51Speaker 3: Joe Rogan.
- 30:52Speaker 21: I also want to say a big, big thank you
- 30:55Speaker 21: to President Donald Trump for being here tonight. You will
- 31:04Speaker 21: say it, you would say it.
- 31:06Speaker 11: Let's go with.
- 31:12Speaker 19: That's what I lie that I'm proud.
- 31:14Speaker 21: I'm proud to be a great American champion. I'm proud
- 31:18Speaker 21: to be a Christian American champion.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Now, Alex, I know the UFC isn't representative of all
- 31:24Speaker 3: of America. It is in New York, but the UFC
- 31:28Speaker 3: crowd tend to be conservative. But again, you are saying
- 31:32Speaker 3: footballers from the NFL to college football doing the Trump
- 31:36Speaker 3: Dance proudly. You've got people seemingly more open to saying proudly,
- 31:42Speaker 3: I'm Christian. I'm proud of my country, I'm proud of
- 31:45Speaker 3: my religion. Do you feel that change is real? And significant.
- 31:51Speaker 19: Yeah, it is real and significant, but it's even more
- 31:54Speaker 19: significant if you just want to fight in one twenty
- 31:56Speaker 19: five million dollars, You're definitely excited to see Donald Trump
- 31:59Speaker 19: there because maybe you have to pay the less taxes too. So,
- 32:01Speaker 19: you know, God blessed Donald Trump and all the NFL
- 32:03Speaker 19: players that are doing the Donald Trump YMCA dance, because
- 32:07Speaker 19: you know, Donald Trump is a cultural phenomenon. And what's
- 32:09Speaker 19: it saying? You know, everything kind of runs downstream. Culture
- 32:13Speaker 19: runs downstream of politics. So Donald Trump is a cultural phenomenon.
- 32:16Speaker 19: Everybody's following his lead. And I would be doing if
- 32:19Speaker 19: I just won twenty five million dollars and I saw
- 32:21Speaker 19: Donald Trump, I would be dancing and happy too that
- 32:24Speaker 19: I get to keep more of it instead of giving
- 32:25Speaker 19: it all to Kamala Harris so she can become more
- 32:27Speaker 19: in debt with our money.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Well, talking about big paydays, the Tyson fight proved to
- 32:35Speaker 3: be a massive Fizzare there all sorts of technical issues
- 32:40Speaker 3: with the feed? People complaining about that? Mike Tyson looked
- 32:44Speaker 3: nothing like the ferocious champion we've seen training in recent months.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Let's have a look at him training. Where where was that?
- 33:03Speaker 3: Mike Alex? You were there. You spoke to people who
- 33:07Speaker 3: attended the fight, and they almost all of them had
- 33:12Speaker 3: doubts about what really happened.
- 33:14Speaker 20: We just asked everybody walking out if they thought the
- 33:16Speaker 20: fight was ragged, and I think you know their answers.
- 33:18Speaker 20: Check them out.
- 33:19Speaker 21: Rigged, riga morning, rigga morning, was scripped.
- 33:25Speaker 3: I could have foughten better than that.
- 33:27Speaker 20: You don't, brother, I'm telling you I was.
- 33:31Speaker 5: Honestly, I've seen more interesting paint dry, more interesting paint
- 33:36Speaker 5: come from as So you think it was rigged, right?
- 33:50Speaker 6: I don't know if it was rigged, but I think
- 33:51Speaker 6: it was a scrimmage.
- 33:53Speaker 1: What do you think it was rigged? Yes? Thought I
- 33:57Speaker 1: thought you was riggs.
- 34:01Speaker 11: I did not like the fight.
- 34:02Speaker 1: The fight was lame.
- 34:04Speaker 20: I wasted my money.
- 34:05Speaker 12: They really did it for money.
- 34:07Speaker 3: A lot of blue language there, a lot of people upset,
- 34:10Speaker 3: spent a lot of money. A couple of Australians there
- 34:12Speaker 3: who were particularly uh Bolliet that were using a lot
- 34:16Speaker 3: of colorful language. We can't be having on this program,
- 34:19Speaker 3: but Alex, what really happened there? There are so many
- 34:23Speaker 3: conspiracy theories now, and like the fans you spoke to,
- 34:28Speaker 3: most people think there was something not Kosher about this fight.
- 34:33Speaker 19: You know, Rita, obviously I was at the fight, and
- 34:35Speaker 19: the first two undercards, a Ramos fight and then the
- 34:39Speaker 19: Serrano versus Katie Taylor fight were absolutely incredible. You know,
- 34:43Speaker 19: both of those fights, all the boxers, they left it
- 34:45Speaker 19: all out.
- 34:46Speaker 20: There in the ring.
- 34:47Speaker 19: But this fight with Mike Tyson, the first round was okay.
- 34:51Speaker 19: Tyson had a little energy, but I'm telling you, every
- 34:55Speaker 19: single person in that crowd wanted Tyson to win. It
- 34:58Speaker 19: did not matter who they were there a everybody wanted
- 35:01Speaker 19: Tyson to win and to see him go out there
- 35:04Speaker 19: and just not have the stamina. It was obvious that
- 35:07Speaker 19: have a scripted because you know, Jake's not the type
- 35:11Speaker 19: of fighter Mike Tyson ever was in his prime.
- 35:13Speaker 20: But Jake took it easy on him.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It was very obvious.
- 35:16Speaker 19: And that's why we all felt like we got duped
- 35:18Speaker 19: because people were paying thousands and thousands of dollars to
- 35:20Speaker 19: go to this event expecting a real fight or at least,
- 35:24Speaker 19: you know, a full effort from Mike, but iron Mike's
- 35:26Speaker 19: fifty eight and this was one hundred percent sports entertainment
- 35:30Speaker 19: WWE and not traditional boxing, like we wanted.
- 35:36Speaker 3: One of the theories that I liked was that Jake
- 35:39Speaker 3: Pool has always idolized Mike Tyson. It was his hero
- 35:42Speaker 3: growing up, and heard that perhaps Mike Tyson could do
- 35:46Speaker 3: with a big payday, and that's why he participated in
- 35:50Speaker 3: this whole thing. And because people were saying, I don't
- 35:53Speaker 3: know how good Jake Pool is, but that was saying
- 35:55Speaker 3: he was taking it easy. He could have finished off
- 35:58Speaker 3: Mike much earlier, but he was just making sure he
- 36:03Speaker 3: got a points victory as opposed to knocking him out.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know boxing that much, but
- 36:09Speaker 3: the whole thing looks a bit fishy to me. And
- 36:12Speaker 3: I want to bring to your attention this piece from
- 36:15Speaker 3: the New York Times. The leftist media is just not
- 36:19Speaker 3: coping with reality at all at the moment. Look at
- 36:22Speaker 3: this attempted takedown of RFK Junior. The New York Times
- 36:26Speaker 3: reports that mister Kennedy has singled out frit loops as
- 36:30Speaker 3: an example of a product with too many ingredients. Why
- 36:35Speaker 3: do we have fruit loops in this country that have
- 36:37Speaker 3: eighteen or nineteen ingredients and you go to Canada and
- 36:40Speaker 3: he has two or three, mister Kennedy asked, And then
- 36:44Speaker 3: it goes on to say he was wrong on the
- 36:46Speaker 3: ingredient count. They are roughly the same, but the Canadian
- 36:49Speaker 3: version does have natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots,
- 36:54Speaker 3: while the US product contains red dye forty, yellow five
- 36:59Speaker 3: and blue one, as well as a utilated hydroxy two
- 37:04Speaker 3: lead or BHD, a lab made chemical that is used
- 37:08Speaker 3: for freshness according to the ingredient label. Why would they
- 37:14Speaker 3: do they just expect their readers to read the headline
- 37:17Speaker 3: and not actually read the detail of the piece because
- 37:20Speaker 3: they just proved RFK right. Why is a product sold
- 37:26Speaker 3: in Canada that is the same product way more healthy
- 37:29Speaker 3: in Canada compared to what the US consumer is receiving.
- 37:35Speaker 20: And reader, it's not just fruit loops. There's so many
- 37:37Speaker 20: American products that would be outlawed in Europe and.
- 37:40Speaker 19: Your country and a lot of other countries that they
- 37:42Speaker 19: just feed us here in America because there's no regulation.
- 37:45Speaker 19: And you know, of course the companies are worried about that,
- 37:47Speaker 19: but they can still sell these products in other countries
- 37:49Speaker 19: without putting all these ingredients in them and make money,
- 37:51Speaker 19: so they could do.
- 37:52Speaker 20: That here in America.
- 37:53Speaker 19: But they're really worried about RFKS because he's going after
- 37:56Speaker 19: a big farmer. He's going after these industries that are
- 37:58Speaker 19: just able to operate without any repercussions of their actions.
- 38:03Speaker 19: You know, here in America, our media is basically subsidized
- 38:06Speaker 19: by advertising from these pharmaceutical countries, I mean pharmaceutical companies.
- 38:11Speaker 19: But in other countries they don't have pharmaceutical ads.
- 38:14Speaker 20: But when you turn on our TV, every single thing
- 38:16Speaker 20: is a pharmaceutical ad. So that's why people were worried,
- 38:18Speaker 20: is that our whole entire mainstream media is bought by
- 38:21Speaker 20: big pharma.
- 38:22Speaker 19: And so they talk about the fruit loops because that'll
- 38:24Speaker 19: get people's attention, but really they're worried about much bigger
- 38:27Speaker 19: issues that RFK is potentially going to fix.
- 38:31Speaker 3: And there was a lot of debate about that famous
- 38:36Speaker 3: picture now that has been posted on President Trump's plane
- 38:40Speaker 3: with McDonald's being served to the gang, including RFGAY, who
- 38:46Speaker 3: looks very uncomfortable having to consume McDonald's. But you know what,
- 38:51Speaker 3: McDonald's is fine. It's just that you shouldn't be having
- 38:54Speaker 3: it every day. And perhaps they could be using I
- 38:57Speaker 3: don't know, beef tallow instead of seed oils like they
- 39:00Speaker 3: used to do. That would be something RFK can talk
- 39:03Speaker 3: to them.
- 39:03Speaker 1: About.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I want to bring you this clip from Vivik Ramaswami.
- 39:08Speaker 3: He and Elon Musk have been charged with draining the
- 39:11Speaker 3: swamp and saving the American people billions by heading up
- 39:17Speaker 3: Trump's Department of Government Efficiency. Let's have a listen to
- 39:21Speaker 3: how he is going to do it.
- 39:23Speaker 22: The dirty little secret right now, Maria is the people
- 39:26Speaker 22: we elect to run the government, they're not the ones
- 39:28Speaker 22: who actually run the government. It's the unelected bureaucrats in
- 39:32Speaker 22: the administrative state that was created through executive action. It's
- 39:35Speaker 22: going to be fixed through executive action.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Think about the.
- 39:37Speaker 22: Supreme Court's environment over the last several years, they've held
- 39:41Speaker 22: that many of those regulations are unconstitutional at a large scale,
- 39:45Speaker 22: Rescind those regulations, pull those rigs back, and then that
- 39:48Speaker 22: gives us the industrial logic to then downsize the size
- 39:52Speaker 22: of that administrative state.
- 39:53Speaker 11: And the beauty of.
- 39:54Speaker 1: All of this is that can be achieved just.
- 39:56Speaker 22: Through executive action without Congress. Score some early wins, and
- 40:00Speaker 22: and then you look at those bigger portions of the
- 40:01Speaker 22: federal budget that need to be addressed one by one.
- 40:04Speaker 22: So I think that's one way to think about this
- 40:06Speaker 22: is how can the president of the United states who's
- 40:08Speaker 22: been elected with a historic mandate actually do the thing
- 40:11Speaker 22: that the voters have voted for. They haven't voted for
- 40:13Speaker 22: incremental change here this time, Ariya. We have voted for
- 40:16Speaker 22: sweeping change, and the voters actually deserve to get it.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Sweeping change is what the people voted for. Can Vivic
- 40:23Speaker 3: and Eloon deliver that? Their task is enormous, You know, they.
- 40:29Speaker 19: Do have a big task with the Department of Government Efficiency,
- 40:32Speaker 19: but they can do a lot of stuff by cutting
- 40:34Speaker 19: budgets to NASA, and NASA is complaining that they're mad
- 40:37Speaker 19: that a lot of their budget went to DEI training,
- 40:39Speaker 19: you know. And you look at the Pentagon they have
- 40:41Speaker 19: their latest audit. It's like they have eight hundred billion
- 40:43Speaker 19: dollars unaccounted for. So you know, there's a lot of
- 40:46Speaker 19: places where they can find money. So this Government Efficiency
- 40:48Speaker 19: Department is going to be awesome now that they're running
- 40:51Speaker 19: it if they actually slash a lot of these slush
- 40:54Speaker 19: funds that the government can just spend money unaccounted for.
- 40:56Speaker 19: And you know, Vivak is right, all these unelected bureaucracts
- 40:59Speaker 19: are based running thing. So hopefully Donald Trump's appointees can
- 41:02Speaker 19: go in there and shut these guys down as soon
- 41:05Speaker 19: as possible.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Alex Stein, thanks for your time tonight.
- 41:10Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 41:10Speaker 20: REATA always a pleasure.
- 41:12Speaker 3: After the break, Kinsey Schofield joins me with the latest
- 41:16Speaker 3: celebrities jumping on the Trump bandwagon. Welcome back. Joining me
- 41:30Speaker 3: now is celebrity and royal reporter Kinsey Schofield. Kinsey Trump
- 41:35Speaker 3: received a rock star reception of the UFC over the
- 41:38Speaker 3: weekend in the wake of his election win. What can
- 41:42Speaker 3: you tell us about the celebrities who were there and
- 41:46Speaker 3: what happened?
- 41:48Speaker 23: Yeah, it was like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
- 41:51Speaker 6: He's showing us.
- 41:53Speaker 23: How cool and different and youthful and engaged tears compared
- 41:58Speaker 23: to Joe Biden.
- 41:59Speaker 6: He can stay out past six pm. He's hanging with
- 42:02Speaker 6: the cool.
- 42:03Speaker 23: Tech guys like Elon and you know he's he's hanging
- 42:06Speaker 23: out with rock stars like Kid Rock and controversial characters
- 42:11Speaker 23: like RFK Junior, who the Democrats shunned. So you know,
- 42:15Speaker 23: the Democrats shunned A Kennedy and look at how it's
- 42:19Speaker 23: blown up in their face. So he's got this cool
- 42:22Speaker 23: entourage around him, and it was really fun to see
- 42:25Speaker 23: him in that environment and hear the crowd erupt because
- 42:28Speaker 23: you know, it just gives you the sense that it's
- 42:30Speaker 23: cool to be patriotic again, and it's and it's cool
- 42:33Speaker 23: to to.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Love your president and to love your country.
- 42:39Speaker 3: And in those prime seats there were all sorts of characters.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Obviously he's crew, but then he had the likes of
- 42:45Speaker 3: Jelly Roll, who's a massive singer in the States of
- 42:49Speaker 3: the Moment. Triple h and Stephanie McMahon were there. There
- 42:52Speaker 3: was just a really interesting mix of celebrities and high
- 42:58Speaker 3: profile people there. And someone who wasn't there but who's
- 43:02Speaker 3: been spending a little bit of time with Donald Trump
- 43:04Speaker 3: is Sylvester Stallone, the famous actor Rocky Rambow, and he
- 43:11Speaker 3: had this to say about President elect Donald Trump.
- 43:14Speaker 8: We are in the presidence of a really mythical character.
- 43:18Speaker 8: I love mythology, and this individual does not exist on
- 43:23Speaker 8: this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off
- 43:26Speaker 8: what he pulled off. So I'm in awe and I'll
- 43:32Speaker 8: just say this and I mean it. When George Washington
- 43:37Speaker 8: defended his country, he had no idea that he was
- 43:41Speaker 8: going to change the world, because without him, you could
- 43:45Speaker 8: imagine what the world would look like. Guess what we got.
- 43:48Speaker 8: The second, George Washington, congratulations, Kinsey.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I'm a little bit worried about what his prospects are
- 43:55Speaker 3: going to be in Hollywood after what he said there.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Is he too big to be canceled? Is he doing
- 44:00Speaker 3: his own films being acting as producer as well, or
- 44:05Speaker 3: has he? Does he not care anymore because it's behind him?
- 44:09Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 44:09Speaker 23: I think he doesn't care anymore because he is so
- 44:12Speaker 23: self made and he has created projects for himself, like
- 44:15Speaker 23: Tulsa King. You know that the season two starting in September,
- 44:20Speaker 23: But on Instagram he says he's already working on season three.
- 44:23Speaker 23: But I think celebrities and Hollywood are learning a pretty
- 44:26Speaker 23: tough lesson from Rachel Zegler. I think they're going to
- 44:29Speaker 23: keep their heads down and their mouths shut. She's been
- 44:33Speaker 23: so irresponsible with the way she's criticized Trump voters to
- 44:38Speaker 23: the point where Disney has reconsidered, you know, do we
- 44:41Speaker 23: just trash this this Disney movie that we've spent millions
- 44:45Speaker 23: of dollars on? So I think that Hollywood is going
- 44:48Speaker 23: to keep their heads down for a little while until
- 44:51Speaker 23: somebody else gives them the confidence to be so ugly
- 44:54Speaker 23: and critical again.
- 44:55Speaker 6: But I think he was in a safe space.
- 44:56Speaker 3: There he was s saying it in a safe space.
- 45:01Speaker 3: But I do wonder if it's going to have repercussions
- 45:04Speaker 3: for him down the track. Let's talk about Diddy at
- 45:08Speaker 3: Sean Diddy Combs. He's allegedly been paying his fellow inmates
- 45:12Speaker 3: for the use of their telephone accounts to allegedly influence
- 45:18Speaker 3: his sex trafficking trial and blackmail victims is according to prosecutors,
- 45:23Speaker 3: what more can you tell us about this?
- 45:26Speaker 23: Yeah, so he does not want investigators and prosecutors to
- 45:29Speaker 23: be able to hear him on these calls. These calls
- 45:32Speaker 23: are recorded, so he's using other inmates to allow he
- 45:37Speaker 23: in exchange for cash. He uses their phone time, so
- 45:40Speaker 23: it's filed under their name, so it will be harder
- 45:43Speaker 23: for investigators and prosecutors to go listen in. But he's
- 45:47Speaker 23: also asking the person on the other end of the
- 45:49Speaker 23: phone to do a three way call, so that is
- 45:51Speaker 23: also against the rules. I don't know what the repercussions
- 45:55Speaker 23: of something like this could be. Perhaps he could have
- 45:57Speaker 23: that those privileges taken away, you know, phone privileges taken away.
- 46:02Speaker 23: But clearly something nefarious is going on for him to
- 46:05Speaker 23: be so strategic in the way.
- 46:07Speaker 6: He's trying to, you.
- 46:08Speaker 23: Know, to outwit the prosecutors.
- 46:14Speaker 3: We haven't talked about Britney Spears for a long time.
- 46:17Speaker 3: There reports her youngest son, Jaden, who's eighteen now, has
- 46:22Speaker 3: reached out to his mom, who he hasn't seen for
- 46:26Speaker 3: some time, has been estranged from her. He wants to reunite.
- 46:31Speaker 3: What can you tell us about this? It's so sad
- 46:33Speaker 3: that she has really no contact with her own children.
- 46:38Speaker 23: Yeah, so he moved to Hawaii with his brother and
- 46:40Speaker 23: father and his father's new family.
- 46:42Speaker 6: Here readA I'm.
- 46:43Speaker 23: A little cynical here because I understand that the child's
- 46:48Speaker 23: support has recently run out since he's turned eighteen years old.
- 46:52Speaker 23: Dad is no longer getting those big checks, and so
- 46:55Speaker 23: I'm wondering if he's reconnected with mommy. Because it's the
- 46:59Speaker 23: bank of Britain, and it's always been the bank of Brittany. So,
- 47:02Speaker 23: you know, I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but
- 47:04Speaker 23: I'm a little cynical when it comes to these children
- 47:07Speaker 23: that have been critical of her in the public and
- 47:09Speaker 23: in the media. All of a sudden, somebody, you know,
- 47:13Speaker 23: comes home and is ready to get back in with mommy.
- 47:16Speaker 6: I mean, I think it might be the Bank of Brittany.
- 47:20Speaker 3: You know what, it did not even occur to me.
- 47:23Speaker 3: It has been said before. I can be dangerously naive,
- 47:26Speaker 3: and you've set me straight there, Kinsey, before you go.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Because some footage year of a convoy of Trump supporters
- 47:35Speaker 3: driving a their Trump train, they call it through an
- 47:39Speaker 3: a list California suburb home to the leftist of leftist celebrities,
- 47:45Speaker 3: including the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Meghan markl what's
- 47:49Speaker 3: been the reaction with the cops called.
- 47:52Speaker 23: But yeah, no, so this well drive this neighborhood crazy.
- 47:56Speaker 6: I you know, what can they do? They're just driving
- 47:58Speaker 6: through the neighborhood. You can't do any thing.
- 48:00Speaker 23: But celebrities like Katy Perry who went absolutely crazy for
- 48:05Speaker 23: Kamala and Hillary like, somebody needs to let her know,
- 48:07Speaker 23: we need you to step aside next election. Oprah Winfrey,
- 48:11Speaker 23: who also stumped for Kamala, Megan Markle, who we know
- 48:14Speaker 23: is a Kamala fan. This will absolutely they do not
- 48:17Speaker 23: want this kind of presence in Montecito, California.
- 48:20Speaker 6: So this tickled a lot of people.
- 48:23Speaker 3: I tickled May. I would have loved to seen Oprah
- 48:26Speaker 3: come out there and just wave her fist at them,
- 48:28Speaker 3: but we didn't have that, Kinsey Schofield, thank you so
- 48:32Speaker 3: much for your time tonight, and that's all the time
- 48:35Speaker 3: I've got. I'll see you at eleven tomorrow night. Up
- 48:38Speaker 3: next is Newsnight.
