- 0:27Speaker 3: eight seven, one oh two nine, go ahead.
- 0:29Speaker 2: What's up? Oh man?
- 0:30Speaker 1: I feel bad even calling because technically this is not
- 0:34Speaker 1: my business, but it is bothering me so much I
- 0:38Speaker 1: cannot stop thinking about it.
- 0:40Speaker 2: What what's up?
- 0:42Speaker 1: I have this coworker, and we're really friendly at work,
- 0:44Speaker 1: but she acts like we're best friends, which we are
- 0:46Speaker 1: absolutely not. And lately she's been like calling out of
- 0:51Speaker 1: work a ton, showing up late, leaving early, all that stuff.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Then one day I overheard my boss saying something about
- 0:58Speaker 1: how she's trying to like be understanding because my coworker
- 1:02Speaker 1: is dealing with morning sickness and I'm like, wait.
- 1:06Speaker 2: What, Oh, she's pregnant. Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Well, later that day she like pulls me aside and
- 1:15Speaker 1: tells me and she's laughing that she's not actually pregnant.
- 1:19Speaker 2: You guys, what, Oh come, she's not pregnant.
- 1:23Speaker 3: She's not.
- 1:24Speaker 1: She just told our boss that she was because she
- 1:26Speaker 1: needed an excuse for always being.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Late miss work.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I hate this so much.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I hate it too. She like she just like figured
- 1:36Speaker 1: nobody questions a pregnant woman's.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Right, man, what's gonna happen in nine months or you know,
- 1:43Speaker 3: seven months?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, you know, however long. She's like,
- 1:45Speaker 2: obviously there's no good any.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Keep this going exactly. I was speechless.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't blame you. I would not like this either.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So I'm sick one thing, I had a death in
- 1:56Speaker 2: the family. People use that, but I'm pregnant. I know.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Gross that even more because like people have, you know,
- 2:03Speaker 1: struggle for years to have babies. They like women lose babies.
- 2:07Speaker 1: And she's just like using it as a fake sick
- 2:10Speaker 1: day path like it just it's so disgusting. It made
- 2:13Speaker 1: me look at her completely differently.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I would too.
- 2:16Speaker 3: This would make me look at somebody differently, I'd be like,
- 2:19Speaker 3: this is I'd almost have to say something, but like
- 2:21Speaker 3: you said, I know it's not technically your business, but
- 2:23Speaker 3: at the same.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Time, I just it's gross to lie about.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's so gross awful, and like you were saying, like
- 2:30Speaker 1: she hasn't thought it through, like how do you end
- 2:32Speaker 1: a fake pregnancy?
- 2:34Speaker 2: You know that's it.
- 2:35Speaker 3: She's unfortunately probably gonna say that fake the end of
- 2:38Speaker 3: the fake the end of it too, and you know
- 2:40Speaker 3: that's not going to be gross.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Okay, she'll probably take a couple of days off for
- 2:43Speaker 2: that too. That now that would enrage. Yeah, that would rage.
- 2:49Speaker 2: That's I don't even want to think about that. I
- 2:50Speaker 2: don't like that at all.
- 2:51Speaker 1: So I know. So, like my dilemma is like I
- 2:55Speaker 1: wanted part of me wants to tell my boss because
- 2:57Speaker 1: it's so gross, But then I'm like, do I really
- 2:59Speaker 1: want to get in.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I don't know, you that's a good question, like does
- 3:04Speaker 3: this something like I'm trying to think, like we have
- 3:06Speaker 3: to watch these videos sometimes of work, like if somebody's
- 3:09Speaker 3: doing something.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Right, compliance, would you, yeah, compliance, would you say something,
- 3:14Speaker 2: see something, say something? But in this.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Case, unless her like work is affecting the team, or
- 3:20Speaker 1: tanking the company, or like our goals together.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I don't know if you could say anything.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Technically she is stealing company time and money though, if
- 3:28Speaker 3: she's lying about But then again, how you do it?
- 3:31Speaker 3: I don't know if if she told you this, if
- 3:33Speaker 3: she just told you this, it could be just hearsay.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're the only one she told, then she's
- 3:38Speaker 3: gonna know you're the one that ratted her out. I
- 3:41Speaker 3: don't know if I would say anything. I think this
- 3:42Speaker 3: kind of karma comes full circle on its own. Yeah, right,
- 3:46Speaker 3: I don't know. You know, if you tell her that
- 3:50Speaker 3: they got to get HR involved the whole big.
- 3:52Speaker 2: No, that's who you would tell, is HR? I guess right, Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't tell anything. I'd avoid a charre at
- 4:00Speaker 3: all costs. Even when I see him in the hallway,
- 4:03Speaker 3: I keep my head down.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Like they won't notice me.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I might stay out of it.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I don't know. Well, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that you
- 4:12Speaker 3: got to deal with that. That is that is awful,
- 4:14Speaker 3: and I would yeah, I wouldn't. It feels ichy. I
- 4:16Speaker 3: wouldn't want to be around it at all.
- 4:19Speaker 2: But she'll get hers. I don't know.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Some way, somehow this stuff comes around. I truly believe that.
- 4:23Speaker 3: And you know it won't be It won't be good
- 4:26Speaker 3: for her.
- 4:26Speaker 1: No, it is not going to be good, not at all.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Well, let us know what happens.
