- 0:56Speaker 3: minute that defeat is written.
- 1:03Speaker 4: We'll secure the city without further bloodshed.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Well, the third season opens with a scene of battlefield carnage, so.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I don't know about that.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Subjects do not feel safe, And.
- 1:17Speaker 3: According to this trailer, that's what you're gonna get this
- 1:19Speaker 3: whole season.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I see you have been merciful.
- 1:25Speaker 4: The crown is a weight that crushes at least.
- 1:28Speaker 3: To half a dozen more moments to show both large
- 1:30Speaker 3: scale and close up, just brutality.
- 1:36Speaker 4: You know, when they're not scheming, they're beating people.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Up. You know.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Basically, they're all horrible.
- 1:41Speaker 1: They are I was weak and unsuited to rule.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Now, this one's a lot different than the one that
- 1:45Speaker 3: they released in April that focused more on aiming to
- 1:52Speaker 3: strict power from rain.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Raise.
- 1:57Speaker 1: But this one is.
- 2:00Speaker 3: If you want some old school, old school battle footage, boy, this.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Is the Okay, this is the trailer to watch.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Ship's burning and people getting run through and headings and catapults.

- 2:37Speaker 3: Plenty of dragon action if that's what you're looking for.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Action in season three. And I think there's one more
- 2:43Speaker 3: season of this, and then I think they're calling it,
- 2:45Speaker 3: calling it quits.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Now.
- 2:47Speaker 3: The next trailer is it's a movie for Netflix. It's
- 2:53Speaker 3: called I Am Frank Kelda.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I have not heard of it.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I am Frank Frank Kelda.
- 3:00Speaker 3: You you've not heard of this. It's going to be
- 3:02Speaker 3: June twelfth on Netflix. Because this is a stop motion
- 3:08Speaker 3: animated film, okay, written and directed by Arturo and Roy Ambres,
- 3:14Speaker 3: who are proteges of Guermo del Toro. They have been
- 3:18Speaker 3: working on this for many, many years, since they were
- 3:22Speaker 3: like kids, really.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Want to be a writer. He's a little crazy, don't
- 3:27Speaker 2: you think, buddy.
- 3:29Speaker 4: And it's that old school style stop motion. It is
- 3:33Speaker 4: very rank and based kind of Christmas, specially.
- 3:36Speaker 2: The nightmares you write. No longer fight in humans. Without
- 3:44Speaker 2: new nightmares, our real will die. I want to bring
- 3:47Speaker 2: in another writer, a human.
- 3:49Speaker 1: That's blasphemy, that's nonsense. There can't be two Royal nightmare makers.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I need you to help me. Let me show you,
- 3:59Speaker 2: my king, how do we get there?
- 4:02Speaker 3: Well, a writer who lives in a place where both
- 4:05Speaker 3: existence and terror have their own world. Stuck in between
- 4:08Speaker 3: those worlds, Frank Kelda must face her own nightmares to
- 4:12Speaker 3: make sure that both continue to exist.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Our existence depends on the fear humans have of us.
- 4:18Speaker 4: It's a little complicated, but we.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Are in danger of disappearing.
- 4:22Speaker 3: And how can I help you?
- 4:27Speaker 2: I wanted to ask if you'd like to be the
- 4:29Speaker 2: royal nightmare maker? You mean, stay here?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Never have I been so grievously a front I think
- 4:38Speaker 1: betrayed you because.
- 4:40Speaker 4: And these all these creatures are just god there. Yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 4: there's the picture that you have there at x ninety
- 4:47Speaker 4: six dot com slash Live.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's stop motion.
- 4:51Speaker 3: It's all stop motion. Yeah, so go and watch this trailer.
- 4:54Speaker 3: It's really with me. It's really something.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I am Frank.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 5:05Speaker 4: That'll be like Del Toro. Yeah, exactly, June twelfth on Netflix.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Now the next story here, this is another show me
- 5:14Speaker 3: what you got kind of a situation.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, right, yeah, great movie.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 5:22Speaker 3: You know when it came out it was considered a failure,
- 5:25Speaker 3: but then after some re examination, everybody went.
- 5:29Speaker 4: No, this is actually quite good.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Now.
- 5:31Speaker 4: This is according to a deadline.
- 5:33Speaker 3: They're going to make a limited TV series of The
- 5:38Speaker 3: Birds all right, described as a visceral, present day reimagining
- 5:44Speaker 3: of the of the film. Well with the technology now
- 5:46Speaker 3: that they can do all kinds of stuff.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That they couldn't.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Sarah Snook is going to star in this SHIV.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:53Speaker 3: She will play Myra Massey, a traveling magistrate returning to
- 5:57Speaker 3: her isolated Alaskan hometown. It's there she finds her childhood
- 6:02Speaker 3: friend dead and sets out to uncover what happened, occasionally
- 6:06Speaker 3: impeded by bird attacks.
- 6:07Speaker 4: For no reason. Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So while you're getting a sort of a remake of
- 6:14Speaker 3: The Birds in a ten episode series, I want to
- 6:17Speaker 3: say eight or ten limited series.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm not against it.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, like I said, we'll see, we'll see this.
- 6:24Speaker 1: What about Kingdom of the Spiders?
- 6:25Speaker 4: Are they going to redo that?
- 6:27Speaker 1: I hope not. I won't.
- 6:30Speaker 4: And finally, this tragedy.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Two Geeks everywhere. Marshall Lucas, who was the ex husband
- 6:40Speaker 3: of George Lucas.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Oh, ex wife, ex ex wife, excuse me.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Lucas died Wednesday in Rancho Mirage, California from cancer. Now
- 6:51Speaker 3: she is really, I would say, at least fifty percent
- 6:55Speaker 3: responsible for making Star Wars a hit.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Why, I don't know anything about her.
- 7:01Speaker 1: She's an editor.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Oh, she's a California native. Started her editing the Emotion
- 7:06Speaker 3: Picture Editors Guild apprenticeship program and eventually became an assistant
- 7:11Speaker 3: to female film editor Verna Fields, who is one of
- 7:14Speaker 3: the big names in editing Jaws, Paper Moon. It was
- 7:16Speaker 3: while working with Fields that she met her husband, George,
- 7:21Speaker 3: then a student at the Film School at the University
- 7:24Speaker 3: of Southern California. He was also hired to be assistants
- 7:28Speaker 3: to Fields. With Fields, she edited American Graffiti, also assistant
- 7:36Speaker 3: editor on his directorial w THHX one, one, three eight.
- 7:40Speaker 3: But she's the one who said, no, George, this ending
- 7:45Speaker 3: is all wrong. Let me get in there and fix that.
- 7:47Speaker 4: So how was it different much longer?
- 7:50Speaker 1: You know?
- 7:51Speaker 4: George wanted everything in there.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, he shot it all and he says,
- 7:55Speaker 3: you're too She said, you're too close to it.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Leave it to me, let me re edit it.
- 7:59Speaker 3: So she's the one who edited the finals, you know,
- 8:02Speaker 3: the death Star trench and all that sequence. She also
- 8:05Speaker 3: was the one who said, you know what, Vader ought
- 8:08Speaker 3: to kill Obi Wan. George wasn't too sure about.
- 8:12Speaker 4: He felt like it was going too far. Yeah, but
- 8:14Speaker 4: she talked him into it.
- 8:16Speaker 3: And yeah, so she says, I thought it made the
- 8:19Speaker 3: threat of Vader greater. Yeah, that tied in with the
- 8:23Speaker 3: Force and the fact that it could use the dark side,
- 8:25Speaker 3: all of that. She then went on to edit another
- 8:28Speaker 3: Star Wars movie, Return of the Jedi. At least eighty three.
- 8:31Speaker 3: She and George divorced. On Return of the Jedi. George
- 8:35Speaker 3: said that his wife was for the dying and crying
- 8:38Speaker 3: or the emotional scenes. Return of the Jedi is the
- 8:41Speaker 3: final film where Lucas, who later married and divorced artist
- 8:46Speaker 3: Tom Rodriguez, is credited as an editor, but Marshall Lucas
- 8:53Speaker 3: responsible for a lot of important stuff
