- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm back again,
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Boy, wonder one day after my birthday, in fact.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, happy birthday.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much, Gerard.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: I also, I January, baby, but I think you're an Aquarius, though.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: I have a corn.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so you've got the December January crossover.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: I've got the January February crossover a little bit But yes, this is at the end of the month obviously January 27 a lot of people wish me happy birthday So I thank you if anybody's listening then did that but it's good to be back like I said I said it on the episode of the Eastern Lariat We recorded and they came out early today actually as a recording
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I'm in the night wing of wrestling podcast.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: I started out as a robin I really grew into my own thing.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: Does that make you Batman on this in this realm that we're at right now?
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: You're the Canadian I could never be as serious as Batman.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you don't you don't have his code I suppose and as I get older I could not keep hours like Batman
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I understand that as well.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure, but I'm still I'm still feeling great I'm still moving on for no matter how many years passed and how many years mean you have known each other as time goes along You know so much has happened and I can't wait to hear episode 100 of the flow show I love what you have all done and super jealous of him going to Japan But super hype as well.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Can't wait to see what he says when he gets back.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so actually it's
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't get a chance to listen to the Eastern Lariat today, which is good because I want to I want to be surprised.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: Does any crossover from what we talk about?
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: But first, I said I would bring up a few things.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's a surprise you.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: But since I have you on this show, because you all appreciate this because you hated as much as I do.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: is not evil leaving New Japan, basically confirmation that it fell apart and it didn't work.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: House of torture.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's confirmation that he's going to make a lot more money and WWE than the New Japan.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think if he was still in the top mix and had won like a couple more IWGP titles he wouldn't be leaving?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: I understand that he was there in the money.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like he was getting downstitled before and he's probably getting frustrated with his act.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: All of those things could be true at the same time though, but all I'll say is, you know, if I had EO to go to, I don't care, I go to Zimbabwe wrestling, if I had to, if it was to be with her, I'll be in any promotion that needs, that she needs me to be in, it's crazy that that, that that would be a case that maybe there was any kind of power involved with that, I never want to expect that, but yeah, we can, the one thing I question on that is, I,
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I don't know what they're going to do with him when in Debbie that he like what what would he possibly do they or the why it's six That's I didn't even think of that that that that would be perfect if that happened But in terms of house a torture
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think that what you said does have some juice to it, but they did pretty consistently keep him in the mix like now he didn't or he wasn't winning titles left and right or anything like that or world titles left and right, but he did have his very brief run when they turned him originally.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's always been around, I mean, house a torture, he made the G1 final this year.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: He was in a super spotlight and match at rest of Kingdom.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like if he felt that way, he was kind of unjustified, like a lot of people would have loved to have had his push, that she had a, you know, imagine if is she was pushed to have as much as evil as I just can't help but feel like there's something like if this had more juice to it and was really more successful, because remember, yeah, like they had people were kind of hot she was like, okay, we'll do something about this.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like he might still be there because he's already been in this, he's already been there for a number of years away from EO and everything, right?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so it just seems like, you know, there is a few different, he'd still be there if a few different things were done.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, again, where we can only speculate on that fact, we are not evil's best friends, maybe you are, and I don't know about that.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: But as I understand that we are not, so we can only speculate again.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has a career to be pretty happy about all things considered.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: Was the House of Torture successful?
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: I think that, I think that, again, these are all separate things that can all be true simultaneously.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: isn't it that the beautiful thing about life and particularly Japanese for wrestling that so many things can be true at the same time but no in the house of torture was not something I I definitely loved or did I ever think it was super successful every time he was in the made of it it wasn't successful actually like pretty much every time that happens so
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, and some people advocate for it and say that they sell a lot of merch and They're over which is here and there.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: There were a lot of times actually that House of Torture didn't, you know, There were times you could point to where yes, there was big heat as Gato loved so much But there was also a lot of times where they would just do their same stuff.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: They always do it.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't getting that big of a reactions Uh, New Japan couple last year when they had everybody doing that and especially with Doki is champion right now, a junior champion
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so it's just a lot of stuff.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: For me, that's just not my style of wrestling and I said this before.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: Ultimately, this kind of group.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like House of Torture reinvented the wheel and did something nobody had ever seen before.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: This is exactly the same.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like this was basically a direct continuation of the original bullet club.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: with devoted stuff and they kind of pivoted it away as time went along from that and going all the way back to like voodoo murders like this is basically the same kind of stuff.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, that's what we saw So it's not like they're the only group to do this, but I didn't like it with voodoo murders I didn't like it with bullet club.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like it with a way to tie and start them
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna like it now in the New Japan.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, so just for me as a fan, I would say that.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: And in order I think it was like, you know, something where I feel like, oh, this legacy group, they can't break this group of analytics gone because it's just too big before that.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really believe that at all.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, I agree with you.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just wanted to bring it up because a you were there as much as I do and you don't want to let it and I'll tell you what in five ten years now don't let people read on it and say that you were Yeah, the style you kind of does that with a lot of acts, you know, what's time goes along, but we won't let it.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: No, not at this one not on this one.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: And also, I want to give you the chance to take a victory lap, Dylan, because we had discussed this and you were right, you knew that the new Hayabusa is right Joe or Rachel.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right, Joe, uh, right Joe.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the thing is though I had been told that by someone like it wasn't like I I'm not like one of these guys that like was looking at people's nipples or whatever lands And we say I didn't do that somebody had told me that like months ago now.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think like oh yes or September or so
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: had it before others yeah yeah say nobody reported that again i've been told that and i told you secretly about it the the funny thing is i told you and i did tell strigger and i don't know if i even told anybody else uh but when i told strigger we spent like forty five minutes looking up uh the bookings of uh shingo and um like kaiavusa
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: they on none of them cover less outside of like a single date and one that was like you know he was like literally half an hour away a different buildings in june or something like that uh... so all of the the dates matched up and i was pretty sure that then and uh... the funny thing is what i told you i said i didn't say right shot i said oh it shingo from heat up i would just how i know him now i didn't i wasn't even thinking of right show his oldie make what she still doesn't hear there
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but I told you, oh, it shingo for me that and to me it was obviously him and you had said, oh, what shingo like it because he up has two shingos, uh, what is like Suzuki and I think other was like, uh, I saw or something like that.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can't remember the other shit.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but and he runs his own company so I was like no, no, not him like and actually right show wrestled him I in that guy's company I can't remember the name of it right now, but yeah, it was just funny because they were both kind of the same height they had like similar experience and I know a lot of people thought it was astral man
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: But actually, I never bought that because AstroMame was a lot smaller than how you boost that is now and it just never really matched up with me.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I wasn't buying that.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: It made sense timing wise because it's like, oh, AstroMame and stops wrestling and then a few months later here comes new high of boosts.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I can see why people connected those dots, but the style and the wrestling, well, the style somewhat similar, but the the body style is not this so I kind of
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: had to scope it out to that.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: And again, I did get insight info on that.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like I did a lot of work that a lot of the fans have done to really confirm that and the great stuff that Brett put up about who obviously that kind of pulled the curtain off for everybody.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: Is good information.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_02]: One of the 97 subscribers to the 01 streaming service.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know,
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, but, actually, I'm thinking about it though, you know, like I said, Joe's making a very compelling case for it, and zero one is something that has a lot of personal history with me.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: People who know me know that I'm friends with a lot of the guys I'm zero one for 15 years ago, including the owner at the time, Mr. Nakamura.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I reached out to him on Facebook here.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: This is a story I love telling, you know, I'll tell everybody here.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: So this was like 2010, 2011, before New Japan got popular, nobody even knew what Japanese wrestling was that much in America, but I was my old Facebook page, I shut it down because I got hacked or something and I just stopped that and I don't even want to go on Facebook anyway, but back then things were a lot different, so I had been friends with like everybody in Japanese wrestling at the time they used to have a 5000 person limit, I don't know if they do that anymore on Facebook.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I had, like, almost all of them were Japanese wrestlers.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: That, that, that, that, that, that point.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I was friends with everybody.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: At that point, Nakamura, like, free from New Japan, GoToKana, like, show she, any company.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I had found out, I had found the, like, Yoshi Nakamura on Facebook.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I had actually sent him a message because I thought I'd asked him about if they had had a dojo or something because I at the time, again, this is 2010, 2011, I really didn't know how to get to Japan.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I hadn't wrestled in like a year or so by that point a year or two, probably what has happened.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: I had been thinking about going to Japan.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: That was a dream of mine, obviously.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: And one of my first favorite companies was zero one.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: I loved the show they did that had a second motto in Kurohidaka, the New Year's Show from I think 2011 was when that happened.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: I love that show and that match so much.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I messaged him and I asked him about the dojo and he was like, this is his exact response.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: he said, if you can come to Japan, you have a job in zero one.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, really?
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that's, that's super easy.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we actually kept talking.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: I had fridden a lot of people there and I'm still fridden like, oh, loom to this day and heartly.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: We still talk from time to time, but I had met them from zero one.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, loom wrestling is zero one in like, 2012.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if people know that.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: And Jason Lee as well.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: and we had been we've been talking intermittently from them but the funny story about that is when he sold the company the owner.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: His whole the only way I do about that was he had deemed me like a picture of him snorkeling and that was kind of like his message that he equipped and when I talked to Hartley because he had been on one of my shows that I did and
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: And we had talked to me entirely and talked to he was like, hey, I got that same picture and I was like see I told you that what is like because a lot of the story sounds unbelievable, but it's all real Like and I was just like man, but yeah, I knew a lot of people from back then like in us and A lot of people that nobody knows about anymore Chris or Dorif and whatnot, but
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: So regardless, zero one has a great place on my heart.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to get into it again, and I love that it's getting covered so much on voice to wrestling and land stuff, and I hope you take the plunge with us, Gerard.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: You need to get on modern zero one now.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: I do need to go, um, I did subscribe to their YouTube channel to watch.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: Octopus is a high abuse thing, but they haven't posted anything else there.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's bizarre why they don't just do this YouTube subscription because I can only assume it's probably easier to run than something else, but whatever.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: will never know the the real reason why but i will say again you know company this level in japanese wrestling nothing's ever easy it seems like you know that they they kind of seem like they make it harder than it should be but you know
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: maybe one day they'll figure that out.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe they'll get such a boom in fans, maybe kid-bend it, can get all of these people over for WrestleMania and they'll become the hottest promotion and maybe they'll start their own streaming service just what Japanese wrestling needs more of.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think everyone would be interested in this stream series.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, everyone agrees with that and it could be zero one's time going forward.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, definitely could be your chance.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: And lastly, before we to Noah,
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: You were thought to the FSM 50, because that has come out and everybody has seen that by now, or most people I'm sure, and with obviously we've had Kenosake to catch the number one, Kyle Fletcher number two and so we number three, and I can tell you that all three were in the running to finish number one, I vote if you're sorry actually for number one.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: and also on the eastern area in the woods, sorry, did win our best in ring, like Pound for Pound, Ta-da-Hashi trophy.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: She actually won that too, and it a pretty convincing fashion.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: So that was my pick as well.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it was good.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: I like the list as always.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think that there these kind of lists are always so hard because for example, you're looking at somebody like, you know, for example, a job, actually had a really rough first half of the year and then became one of the best in the world in the second half and had this amazing run.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, how do you combine both halves like how do you grade them?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: and you know he had been in the top five so clearly you know most people had more positive the negative some like goto was pretty high up and he missed you know missed part of the year not that I didn't love goto's run of course and you know it is important to say that this ranking is about in ring you know it's not about star power or anything that stuff you know it's how they laid it out in there
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so they're combining purely in-ring stuff here, which I think is a good reason why Comitani was a little bit low.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that was some, a name that, you know, a name value would have been higher, on the list, but in terms of in-ring, I really don't disagree with it.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, they got a lot of the big names.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you had pretty much everybody in there.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, you even had some indie guys in there.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can add him priest was in the top 40.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: Uh,
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: you know, you had luchy guys, joshy people were in there.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: That was a good representation.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I thought a lot of the DG guys in the top 10 were a little like, okay, it's nothing against those two at all, really, but it's like, you know, those two are in the top 10.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: And retas not in the top 50 that doesn't make a ton of sense to me like with Jackie and Rita being the tag team champions like the tweet gate champions there I would have liked those two to be much closer together and actually I like Rita a little better than Jackie, but I know I think I'm
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: a good amount of people would pick Jackie over Rita, but I mean, in our words, they had a dead heat in the junior awards, you know, they were like time for fourth or so.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, maybe it's closer and then Shune, and Shune to be is more of a character worker than a great match guy, like, you know, I don't know if I'd have him a top 10 worker.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: Then hold, stretch, Shune, Bandito, speedball, top 10.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's, I don't know.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't have got to get those, but it's not like they're not
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: there.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's like they're bad either.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, and I think with this list, you're destined to get some guys that are going to be disagreed with overall.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think Kentow could have been a little bit higher actually, like, looking at his year.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: If you counted 38.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, little, but I, I, it was, there was only a couple real.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look,
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look who is some of the guys he's right behind.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Slater, Evans, Okada, Keno, you your way, Mura?
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Keno, I'm gonna watch about a year that way, Mura.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think Keno might have had a better year than Kento though.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Keno is good.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that could work, but I made a match.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: She had the match with Kento.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was my favorite Noah match in the year.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so move those two up, move you a way more around about 50 spots.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: I would say, like 31 for him is entirely too high in my opinion.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: There's a bunch of people on this honorable mentions I would take over him.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, you know, again, these are kind of nitpicks overall.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're picking it a guy here and a guy there.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: I would have had Shinya Oki on the list too, like that was a big miss in my opinion.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: In DDT, I get that he's not a great promotion, but.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: the stuff he did was so great that I think he should have been in there.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: If he Gucci's going to be 27, I'll kiss you.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's kind of the same thing with Jackie and Rita.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, if so, it's going to be this high, then how is this other guy that's similar, not on the list at all?
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: So those are my qualms with the list.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: But still, when you got 50, if I made a 50 list purely on my own and label on revisions, guaranteed there would be people saying, what, like how could so and so be this high?
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: And so you know, you're going to have nitpicks no matter who did it.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing, you know, if you're same thing with you, if you made a top 50 list on your own,
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'd say, well, why is this guy behind this guy sort of thing?
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just like, we can't know, you see him on the list and that number feels right, but then you have all these guys ahead of them that don't make as much sense.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so it's just kind of like musical chairs in a lot of ways.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: But it's a great, it's a great concept and a great list.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm happy that we have it.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: And in terms of the top end, I really don't have any problem with the Kesha at all.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think he would have, I would have put sorry number one just like you.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and just like the eastern area at voters, but to catch their probably would have been my number two as well.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it's him winning really have no qualms.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: Fletcher was probably the MVP of American wrestling, you know, just purely in the US.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I know problem with him either.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: Zach had his best new Japan year.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: I've said that, you know, in the past of multiple times.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: Last year, so I'm with it, and I like a lot of these guys even though I think they're a little high rankings Wise and so overall the top end of stuff was good, but you can't find it's to pick if you look hard on them I'm very proud to enough that I got so dimont g on the honorable mentions this year And hopefully next year I can get them into the top 50 if he has a Can you just have a good run as the strong champion in big Japan
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: i think he's great uh we've all both always been big fans of his as well uh it's good and he gets a lot of reaction i'm hoping uh you y'all okay gets a shot and one of these bigger companies now that he's got him out of the big Japan cave that he was in uh yeah
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think if he does something and no one on all Japan, I think people would like him a lot and they'd be like, whoa, this guy is really good and it's safe thing with so so if he got more regular matches in these bigger companies, I think people would be really turned on to have it be like damn like this guy is really great.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorites.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I said this on the last episode.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: I did buy myself, but I feel like I don't think he, it doesn't feel like he's gonna go to Noah because I think maybe if he had left big Japan earlier, he'd end up in Noah, but it feels like right now
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: between all the young guys that they're pushing because like, you know, Ozzawa and in the mirror, whatever you think of them are now in the top spot.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Owada, San, or you Owada, is going to get a big push when he returns from excursion.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: They've got Odishima and they've got those three young rookies that all look very promising.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think they're going to bring in.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: A guy in his early 30s that's been like in a death match promotion.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I suppose.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: He'd be a great fit in all Japan and they you know the joke like swap out You get a Oki for you.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: You're my aoyage and act with nothing.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's happened That would be very funny overall, but I might say the thing is you, but
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: I, I'm not going to say he had a great year in any way.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, but I still know his talent level.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: If you look back two or three years ago, sure.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: He had it.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: I know that that didn't just go away, Jaron.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to give up on this guy because he's gone, you know, he's gone a little off the rails in the past year in so many ways.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: uh... so please keep al-yo keep al-yagi side al-key and let al-key teach al-yagi back to being a good wrestling can maybe the best way to go about it you know one of my favorite uh... of the honorable mentions was sing tom knockin off in there after she retired in April that that was pretty like you know silly
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we had quick technical difficulty, we're back.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_02]: We're just talking about Tam Nakano on the honorable mentions.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: So from there, we're going to actually dive into some of the recent goings on in Japan.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: And so we'll start with the Noah legacy rise, 2026 from Kirk and Holland, from 1189 fans.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: And Dylan, what do you think of that number considering there's
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: or you can not try it out.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I think that when you look at it, I think this run has been stuck in the middle of a situation where now night host coming into the promotion.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that automatically helped out the new years show a lot.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: And that helped them really get things going.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: So now that you have to go into this new version and considering it's at, you know, still at a smaller level of
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, smaller than your big big shows or Budacon or anything like that, uh, you know, I think that overall was a pretty good number.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: House.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: More type of difficulty circuit.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: You're having some of my might, but I think we're okay now.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: Knock on wood.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_02]: and everything like that.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: So I was going to talk about how I like generally in Amara.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: I understand what people hate the gimmick, but I enjoyed his match against cancer, his match against Kido, but since then, not so much especially now that he seems to be running through team 2000X.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that that's kind of fair.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: The thing is, if you would just ask me a year ago, hey, what do you think of Inamura as a worker?
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: I would have been like, oh, he's great.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like that guy, I loved him and his original run even as a rookie.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like, okay, this guy has big potential.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: He could be a guy that could be the top guy of the company.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: And for a while when Kaito was going through the the Chronicles of Muto Going on in there he had to be in a place where I felt like man maybe Ena Murrah could be the dude for the company And then he comes back with this, you know, Mr. Smack daddy and give it and it's like oh man This is not what I would have done at all, but I tried to give it a chance
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: I tried to give it a chance, and some of the stuff was pretty good, you know, he wasn't bad against Kent or Kaito, even though that didn't really bad number, the Kaito match, Osawa match was pretty terrible, I do have to say.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: But also, like you said, the problem isn't necessarily him, it's more so running through this in group, which is a, yeah, we kind of talked about it at the start of the show, the evolution of the, you know, the voodoo murders on offs, this is another one of those, this isn't that different from house of torture when you think about it.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I still, and I didn't like it with all the other ones I named, why would I like it now?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't make any sense.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: And it's almost, I don't want to say worse, but here's the deal.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the house of torture, you've got a lot of guys who, if they were just on their own, they still wouldn't move the needle that much, you know, like nobody was clamoring for a huge road to become the world champion or anything like that and you've put them in house of torture and have these bad matches.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, show had potential as a midcard guy, like it looked like he could have been a good never type of wrestler and then maybe in junior race, but he wasn't like somebody that was winning match of the year awards or been like the having five star matches that here and there left it right with somebody like a superhero he was one of your best workers and now he's in team 2000.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: Kita Mia was somebody who had really good matches.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: He was always kind of a gatekeeper.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: He was never really a main eventer as his normal self But he was having a lot of really good work and then you turn them into this and and I thought that in one run that he had he was one of the least enjoyable guys in the entire tournament And you see him in these matches and it just doesn't work for me and I don't know why they keep putting these guys who have put who do have real potential on their own
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: into this group, and I don't think it really benefits them.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, Ena Mura, these matches weren't great.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think this one was better than the New Year's one though.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: I will say with Kita Mia, you know, that's not exactly high praise at all.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: I prefer to say it had its moments.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's fair.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_02]: But there's other stuff sprinkled in as you can imagine.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the problem with all of this and yeah, and on top of it, I do hate to get my queen of the number like I do think that it is terrible and drag something down.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't and I think his work again, even the matches he was good in, he was okay, like pretty good, but it didn't really blow me away like that Kino kind of match.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about earlier anything like that.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: You compare that match to eat a bird's match and I think ones at a level clearly above it.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I want more with from this guy that I know is super talented and know is a great worker He's not showing it in this run right now for whatever reason and we'll see if it changes going forward But again, if if they keep this up what they've done with him and they just keep moving forward with that.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know I really have a lot of doubts about this title right now.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: I do have to say
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: So we had a pretty quiet undercar with just a multi-man tags telling what's your opinion on Will Cruz you know, I Like him like I think he's got a great look like super unique I think the way he wrestles has is good I think he's still got a little bit of that brick Res Energy to him that I would like I would like to shake off and I don't even know if he'll be around long enough for that He does feel like a guy that couldn't get an offer in North America
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think he there were rumors about him having to try out in Orlando and I think he's a guy that that would probably make sense to to look at for them Honestly But he's not somebody I would say is like oh this guy could be in main matches like what Titus was you know I mean he still around he just won the hardcore title But when Titus came in I thought okay, this is a guy that if you put him in a spot He could really deliver it have a really good match
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't quite have that with him, but I do like him.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a good mid-cardact for the company.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: If they can put him in some bigger matches, I'd like to see it.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where I'm at with him.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not necessarily confident that he would blow us away, but I would like to see him get a chance and see what he does with it.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that makes sense for sure.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_02]: And so the first big notable thing on the card was Cantodicketing, Lucas de Saki, 1103 with the go-to-sleep.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: This was, uh,
- 31:15[SPEAKER_02]: Sasaki sent off match.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe this thing coming on an excursion.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like he seems like the least excursionist type guy and he said he's going to the States too.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: which is I really bizarre if he told me he was going to Europe I could believe that or something so it'll be funny to see him in the backswing in the background on annex tier whatever he doesn't fit there at all like it in any way I feel like I don't know this one I'm saying with some of these signings like who is his responsible for these signings because they don't make any sense and you don't
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: And listen, I mean, Inamura had more success than we could have thought we would have had and even then it's not like it was that great.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: But still, I think most people had zero expectations for him, and he ended up getting to a title contenter level on NXT, which is something.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: Will Olka have similar success?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: I really have a hard time believing such a thing.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: uh... he's going to be undersized uh... in the next he i don't know who they're going to put against him i mean it's nothing he's anything wrong with the size but i think they're going to put against an oma phimmy type like that eat a bird can go against uh... i don't know i don't know how he's going to fare there
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I know that they are reloading a little bit.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: I know that they're doing a thing where a lot of NXT guys are going to call up like, oh, man, and trick Williams Yeah, Evans, you know, like a lot of their biggest stars are now going up to the main roster.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: So there is room and I don't even know who the main Avengers of NXT are a past those guys I just named Ricky Saints still there in NXT.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: Ricky Saints is still there.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay, we'll see.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oca, that could be his next feud, then I feel like, which, again, imagine that match.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's a total stylistic clash.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like I'm just opening for evil to come in there.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: I see, and that's another one.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: We just talked about him.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: This is why I asked that.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's not, it's not even against him in his talent.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_01]: What are they going to do with these people that simply don't fit what they always do with people?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know where these signings are coming from.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe this is their way of trying to like,
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: with the evil maybe they wanted to do it to make heo happy but with this maybe they're going to bring him in.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to get rid of them and then when he comes back to know what they think that's going to help there are Bima.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: They're terrible and Bima numbers that they have going on with WWE like that that is what this is all about secretly.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that Bima and he was the biggest star they could get to jump.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's from which room and even then the excursion implies he'll be back someday, which you should be.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: I should add the match.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: I've had better higher expectations in what happened to you.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was so disappointed by that match.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: No joke.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what happened with it.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: It just felt like such a joke.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: Mike.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay, sorry.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: Again, we had interruption because my echo dot went off.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: We have three echo dots in our place.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I think my wife accidentally sent the music to the echo dot in my office, but You were talking about the match of the Tuna.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this is talking and I can tell just pointing
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I thought they really played it safe when they were in a spot to make it really like the best they could and go all out with his last match Make it very memorable.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe set up a big angle for the future and it said it's just like, well, I was in the white Raven squad for a week And I'm holding it It's like, oh, okay.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is not white Raven squad just doesn't feel like it's anything
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I mean, but the thing is right away, that signals that this this faction's D.O.A.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like what if your members just left at the other's Hayata?
- 34:59[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I'm just saying he just lost his title.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and he lost his title too, to tie this.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so where does this go?
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: Important though.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's a guy that I felt like when he came in,
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: he was a really fresh face when he made the turn on team 2000 x and turn baby face uh... it felt like a guy he would have been one of my main picks for the n1 and he's over with the fans he's a good worker great look you've got he's got everything you would want and he's stuck in this weirdo faction like that seems like it's just already following apart and after a week or two as bizarre as the
- 35:33[SPEAKER_02]: And it was quick like entry in the exit from Team 2,000 expelts.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: He has just felt very aimless since he left Team 2 after like a week of the first week of him being gone.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: So strange you would think that would be opposite.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: But they never even gave him a real story climb.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: I guess they're trying to do that.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean on this show he did get a win.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, over Osawa, but it feels like this is something that should have happened like six months ago like where were at with him and like you said he basically he did, he was fine as a worker in these times, but he had nothing notable happened in the last half years.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: Which you would think they would want that for somebody who they got from DDT like that was on the you know, it was the original plan was to be gone for a year and he's sticking around like you would think is that is maybe that's a sign of something that like now that he's
- 36:23[SPEAKER_02]: I would I would think so if he's staying then you could pencil him into the top of a card I don't see would be bad idea about even putting on the G.H.C title on in that some point Yeah, I totally agree with him and him in a kind of program.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think would be good
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: They felt like such natural opponents, you know, when you think about their style, again, the look, the wrestling they do, they're very good, like stylistic clashes, such as speaking counterparts, and you know, they did have their match in the end one.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: which was good like, you know, that was a good match, but it wasn't all it could be either.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, it was like a seven out of ten and you think they have like a nine or a ten and a kind of on the cage match world.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: So then we had to concentrate to get out of a wolf tattisca in June.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: Masa Okadifin and Kaido Kimia Harutoki, not a hundred and Kai Fujimara in 1133.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: when Wolff and Alejandro after Fujimura gave Alejandro the Galazzo and that's right Kai Fujimura turned on his brother so we had multiple brother versus brother feuds in one promotion which I can't think as I've been done multiple brother versus brother feuds in the same company at the same time.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think of it.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, I don't think that's enough.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, whatever this was okay
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: Why him?
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: Why Fujibura?
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: Why not bring back a Leha?
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: The return we've all been waiting for.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: On here.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: I guess.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: They want they knew I mean a lot of this was the set of the tag tour.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: They've been right like they knew they were going to do this and they wanted to do something different than just running copy of Doris back again And you know, Fujimura and Alejandro are easy brothers, so they're trying to do something a little different I suppose but it's just so pointless and it makes like 10 2000 really isn't there in W.O.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: era right now.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like they weren't in speed run
- 38:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_02]: Did you, um, you know what was really funny?
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: Cause rich craze just his predictions show every the beginning of every year.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I forgot that this was my prediction of the beginning of 2025, but he read last years.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_02]: And he read mine first and it was like, uh, like the interference.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: And this is what I said, as soon as Ozawa won, the interference would overt, like totally overtake everything going on with Team 2000X.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: That was a great prediction.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, of course.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: How could you, uh, how could you not see that coming just given, oh, yeah, everything in the company, right?
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I totally anticipated that as well.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I was over that basically month one, like with Team 2000.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: Because I had, you know, I had the same visions you did and I just like, look, I know where this is going.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: And again, look, just, again, I don't want to bring it back to the start of the show.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's been happening time and time again for decades now.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: We know how this goes and I want off this ride.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was what I felt after month one, let's a little bit 12 of it.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: month 12 yeah we are in month 13 going in month 13 of this and yeah it's funny how fast that like you know I mean the NWO had maybe two good years one could even say only 18 months because it's about 18 months to start K97 right from its function and that's sort of thing right so but it fluttered out it's fluttered out in the year which is just crazy to
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: So, next up, we had, oh, Tetsuya Endo defeating Ozawa in 1313 with the Saramani tornado clutch.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: Again, fine, but, you know, what did you expect on this?
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: Ozawa was yucking it up and then you had the intro box, the interference, everything goes for Endo, like this is a big win for Endo, but it also doesn't feel like a big win.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: and that's kind of what I said earlier if this had happened six months ago i think it would have worked a lot better uh... although if you didn't six months ago he couldn't break his award the detective sports award that he had uh... and use it for heat do you think that was the real one that that he used to attack or it wasn't a warped award uh... i could see it being a real war yeah i i'm sure i wasn't carried enough to break it i find i'll use it if it breaks it breaks whether whatever uh...
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I said, it was fine Stupid in some places a nice win for Indo and hopefully this is a sign that they're gonna heat him up But it would have been more effective months ago when their program was actually going on Like to do when he had just first left in June or so, maybe this would have been a big win now And remember that remember what that led to that his turn led to another turn
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: was to get a screw up the triple threat match right afterwards.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: So he didn't even get his story played out at all and yeah like so I hope that they're going to do it now because we do like him and we think he's a main event level player.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if this is the start of that but as a match definitely not anything I'd say go back and then next up Jc Junior have you a title of the match that everyone was waiting for.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: Amosca defeated Dakiota Sheen and 1606 with the Kai Koku.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: to make us first defense in the title, and this was great.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: This was a match in the show, no question.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: And...
- 41:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Oscar's like one of the best wrestlers at the year so far.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I totally agree.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think that I'm exercise is an amazing talent.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: And finally he's back on top.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy that had been in and out of major runs and really might mainly out the last couple of years in Noah in the junior division.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: And now him is the champion.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's really putting out his best foot forward.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: But he's had some great opponents.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: Hiromu and Noah has done a wonderful job.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: and maybe he'll be here a lot more if rumours are there to put people in the rumours?
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we're two days or three days away from those contracts expiring, I figured.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: Who's to say, right?
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: We can't.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like, but the whole, it's funny because like, well, let's just talk about it now.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: The, the mystery opponent and nighto and bushy and everything doing a, like,
- 42:45[SPEAKER_02]: L.I.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: J. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R. R
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: that's true until he gets bored he might lose interest again uh that's true you may be right about that but i will say even if it's not him the run that he's already had was very good and i think it's a great job uh he got he finally got junta out of the promotion uh buried him enough to where he had to go to DDT with that singles run they did but besides that it was all positive all junta i don't know if you've seen him in DDT he's looks he looked really good it is match without i'm sure he does he's good he's just
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, whatever is that that's the best way to describe his North run But he wrote it a great job in the match with a maksa maksa looked incredible and again Oh, the sheba has to be like what if the wrestlers I personally like watching the most in any company He just always delivers no matter what position he's in
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know from the beginning pretty much you know the guy when he did the Fujita stuff the one-minute matches He did a great job made that the best it could be in tag matches.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the few men that can get you know a good team with Daga That's pretty much alive
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would say, whether it's veterans, other juniors, anything he do is great.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: A boxer, we love him, so they had great chemistry together too, and I thought they did a really good story match with a boxer being on top, and they really sold the Audiodog status of Odishima here, and I just liked how much a boxer targeted his body instead of a limb, and I think Odishima was great.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: And these guys are just two of the guys I look forward to watching most and they really had a great match.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was really strong stuff.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a little lesser than the Heromo match overall, but not by much if it was.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were both great match.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, I mean, I think.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: that this this was great for other reasons because it's just like, yeah, it's just fun watching Odishima do his thing.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not like as good like Balthabal is just fun to watch him develop and with that crowd connection everything like that.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel like Odishima if you compare it to the hype around Anzai or who else have been super rookies in recent years?
- 45:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well,
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Hobari and Dragon Gate got married.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel like Hobari even got more hype than on the Sheema has.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the thing is with Hobari, he was put in a main event angle, too, with the Shoes guy Walker, and he had to carry a lot.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: This, they haven't really given him a main run, but he, I mean, he's got a belt, which in the first year and Noah is a huge rub.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, so they have high hopes for him, clearly.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, a couple of the Yoshi rookies, uh, you know, in Mari Gold, Yamoka, that's been up there.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and so you know, there's been a couple lately in New Japan is basically impossible to be a super rookie just because of how they use you don't know how you're already in less your celebrity.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's true.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not right, you know, I'm not whole, I think Aaron Wolf is doing well for him.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, everyone love that match at the dough.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so yeah, but that is a special case, absolutely.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: So I would
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Sankas and another one and and Ode Sheba has to be up there again.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking about it to you I know you said listen to the show, but we did put the list out on there and and for me and my list Ode Sheba was in my top five wrestlers under 25 in Japan or 25 in Japan I had a bit number five and that was a bunch of like above some major names.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: I know number one
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: start like it and start okay yeah but again that's a 10 year veteran as well even though you know the age so it like my whole goal with that is the thought you know 30 under 30 it's a good idea but then you'll have like multi-time world champions that do because you know those limit breaks or not limit break what was the all-japan shows called at cheeky long oh yeah
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: That Hayado was the sort of the producer.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't exactly what you're talking about.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, the name escapes me But um, they're having their last one of those in March But because I think a bunch of people are aging out because that was 10 years of experience or last That's our side.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: Those were on some of those shows
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: which also I think is a good thing like you could do a list of like people with less and five years of experience, which I could open up some more interesting angle like people that you know, a true rookie type of you.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, but I don't know if she would need to be up there with all of those other names and I know all of them are great by the way, and everyone knows odds I is like my ultimate guy recently, he's like my favorite wrestler growing to watch and he has been for a long time, you know, now he really
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, and all the other ones I like a lot too.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, oh, the sheba needs to be up there.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: One of the absolute best true rookies in Japanese wrestling.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then the main event, Yoshiki and Amura defeated Masakita Mia in 2826 with the discharge.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, first third defense.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh, like I said, this had its moments when they were like, you know, knocking each other silly.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: But then, of course, you had all the other stuff, like insert.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: What do you expect from a team 2000 X match here type thing and that's what really spoil the and what sort of like the bad case of my mouth after the show was that after the match obviously security just comes out to challenge so he's just running through team.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: Team 2,000.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_01]: And on top of it, they did the exact same angle with Keto as they did before.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like they literally repeat it.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_02]: Try to challenge, but then God, you know.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: Why would you do that?
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it's you think what kind of filing challenges he beats in a mora and this is Keto's little story that he beats all the young guys.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: That would be good if they did that, but they're making it look like a
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: Comedy guy.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that a geek.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't want to say that way, but yes, like it's really true So that's very weird.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of fits his like youtuber persona sure, but I kind of wish that they would Not treat them like that on the shows like I want him to be a badass guy like the guy who's fighting Kenta kicking the crap out of everybody like that's the Kenno.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: I like the best is the one that kicks very hard
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, like that's all I need.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need, you know, I need him to look angry, kick people hard.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need him to be comedy guy, I don't need him to get attacked five times before he finally gets a title shot.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, you know, the match itself was what it was, what you said earlier was accurate.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: It had its moments, but there was also moments of bad, and that sucked.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, ultimately it became a match that I didn't really like that much.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was better than the Osawa match, but that's about as much as I could give it.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, although I guess this is a compliment.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't feel as bad as it could have been for 28 minutes.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's true.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's me looking at natural length.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: That is fair.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: I would say, and I like I said, hopefully this title ranking kick in the next level.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really going to be unhappy if this is a year of match.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, with Eda Murrah if they just do this same team 2000 x stick stick with him Which they will like that's what's gonna happen.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: We saw it already Like with Sugira and these matches That's gonna be unhappy because I really think this match could be an an excellent match, but you've got these guys just
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: living in a fantasy world that I'm having to watch as a viewer.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want to.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to watch that.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was going to say I don't have really high hopes because if they're going to have interference on Sugira's like 25th anniversary match against Kenta, they're going to have interference in this match.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: We saw it already.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it is what it is.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: And also they did that angle with that might not have been that's who you night out.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: But it was just to set up the six-man attack on February 6th and the mystery man opponent, which is either Sonata or Romano.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now, to be fair, Hiromu is booked on New Beginning in New Japan.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's not leaving.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: At least not yet.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, yeah.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they had a handshake deal to work through.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it's not as the most likely.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think it'll be so.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: What kind of outfit will he wear if it is him for his Noah thing?
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: Your postures.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: Will it be better or worse than Seth Rollins level?
- 51:38[SPEAKER_02]: Better.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we'll be that bad.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: Even he has some standards that I'm glad to hear.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: I Sonata can never be the knowing as good point.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll go quickly because I didn't watch all the knowers out there.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: I only watched the first Monday match of this run.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mostly enjoyed the show.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, like, I, I'll 100 versus, did you watch the show?
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I did.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say the first thing I want to say, because we don't have to get into the second show too much, but the first show was automatically superior and due to having cheat key on it.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: And the second one didn't.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: So therefore, it was the.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: I enjoyed, I'll 100 versus Rho.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to be a nice little 10 minute draw.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, what do you think of tonight?
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's, so he's one of, he's one of my favorite guy.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: Me, it's sugar gave him junior's grave.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's awesome.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, fun to see Hiroshi Yamato, Teary Mokita, was it F4 team?
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, so you had F4?
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: So F4 reunion.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: And they lost to Shigiri.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: Shigiri and Danny Dugin.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think Dugin's decent.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: And Eri A is a blast from someone I haven't seen in ages.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_02]: You had Archie Cole, Eichir and Ovaro, and Drany Bane, if you had Jack Morris, Gleno and Gleno is back, and Nathan Dwind.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_02]: or maybe Nathan Divind?
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I will say, I want to correct myself.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: So he was not at F4.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: I did look that up on there, like I said.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: Model was, no right?
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it was.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they had a, and the end of the end, the end of the end of the end of the end.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, of course, so he was in.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, no, it wasn't.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: It was Zodiac.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: There was like, oh, no wonder I forgot.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_02]: So that was, you know, saw a little action, divine, you know.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: Dutch, I think, and a decent little wrestler, but again, I like how they give these guys a chances on these shows though.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_02]: This is a perfect way to introduce the
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: the new foreigners sort of see who sticks yeah me too I think that all the guys they brought in none of them looked bad which I know that like that's what kind of my like that's my bar I just don't want somebody who sticks you can come again when they bring in these foreign talents and none of them looked bad at all you know they like you said I also like to give you people chances at some of them are like you know deep cut
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: that you're giving somebody like that uh a spot uh you know and you've got these guys who weren't names really at all uh on the even the European seed uh and they're looking good you know again they're not like making like all these are diamonds and they need to be pushed as the number one stars or anything like that uh but I liked that they're giving people and no it's kind of always been good about that I remember when they had that tour South America
- 54:35[SPEAKER_01]: for Chile, you know, bad.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: This is like 10 plus years ago now.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: So they've always been good about finding people from obscure places and I like that on the second show.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_01]: The second Monday magic they had Amalay, which is like a French women's wrestler, huh?
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: So how are they, like, my one question is, how are they getting all these people here?
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like why are they
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think so.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of them are marvelous, like training in the Marvel's Dogeau, both the men and the women.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: See that.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: Is Marvel's Dogeau?
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: He had that West Coast connection.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start a thing.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_01]: So years ago.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_02]: But that's a little way to cycle them in and out and everything like that.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_02]: And they'll take who strangely enough, like Titus's barely worked actual Noah.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: I know if it's a scheduling thing or what it is, but, you know, I think he's deserved his that prime time, because whether or not my day magic is still even a no work thing, I don't know.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's still, it's still under Noah on cage ratchel, though it's got its own little thing tab on wrestling universe now.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_01]: uh... uh... uh... well and they are doing like they're going to do that thing where they're like all the companies are together on rest of the universe like no uh... boss or uh... you know all that ddd uh... yeah or universe copper whatever yeah yeah yeah so they're it's i feel like it's a no a thing but who knows it's no solo like we we can't it's yeah so um... next up we had kido kimi and defeating the rookie doing fourteen thirty seven with the
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: This was fine for what it was I don't know what you were going to expect on a surprise Monday magic show between these two guys we're never going to go like Boston the wall.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_02]: So it was a nice solid little fun little match I got you know, yeah, I mean that's about how I describe all of these matches.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it's it's money magic like if this is a semi-main event of a cork and I would have higher.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's a bad match.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like when you think of those two
- 56:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I totally agree with that, you know, at the end of the day, but considering this is a shijuku show for Monday magic, this is about as good as we probably could have realistically expected that weren't going to be like all right, who like we're laying it all the line for this epic match like, you know, so what we got I was fine with, but it wasn't anything I'd be like,
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you got to drop everything.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of a door.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's really not like that.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was a fine midcard match.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you, you, my, you, I'm a Tony and Miku, a old, defeated Chichi and Zones in 1110 with the Wingsault Press from, uh, you were Tony and Zones.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_02]: And, um, we got a little bit of, uh, rest of the universe versus all Japan here, whatever.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_02]: Um, this is fun.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_02]: And this was a nice little semi-main event, I thought.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because the evolution haven't really worked much marigold, have they, or at all.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, actually they've been more in line with start-up, like Chichi, where I was towards start.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, multiple times last month.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty sure that they should.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like I'm not again knock on wood.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: I hope this doesn't happen But if I ran either WWE or AEW, she would be like one of my top draft fix to get him in all of Japanese wrestling I mean she speaks English she looks incredible and she's a really good worker like this is somebody who could be a top star I think I think if she gets in a start him, she could get into American actually
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: yeah that's true and I mean she she works there is she's worked there a couple of times last month we'll see if it goes anywhere but that those are more on like special shows like the Christmas show that they did you know it's stuff like that so we'll see but yeah she's definitely a great prospect it's somebody that and she did just recently drop the evolution time it was owns that drop the evolution title
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, no, because Chichi lost a strong title, remember the Michiko Miyagi?
- 58:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, that was Zones that was the evolution title to, uh, Michiko, the great show.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: But that was in November.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about this month.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know, a bit of Chichi won the title.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: Back for me.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: She's one of the titles.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I, I, I, I, I, my results make sense.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: But my bad about that.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_01]: She told the title back.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's the classic book you're saving the big Chee Chee vs Zones Showdown for later.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: So you look at that.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: They used Michiko to to bridge them.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it was kind of obvious what happened when she just like surprised me when that title.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not great.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that that was weird.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, so for the main event for the hardcore title, Titus Alexander defeated high out in
- 59:22[SPEAKER_02]: uh, how it fails on stirred defense and um, ties to the fifth champion, so they're not recognizing the old, uh, GHC heart quartetile in this lineage, which frankly is the sham.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_01]: uh... anyway this was fine i guess i'll give them this or if he's a kind of doing more jobs read now days which is good yeah what he i was waiting for sure uh... yes first of all and secondly this was like the one time you think he would need to win because they're trying to heat up this new faction and then it's like no you're going to lose your belt right away here uh... but yeah like you said this was a way to log it and it wants to
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_02]: and and also they're heating like he's got a big six man coming up and everything but it is a guarantee of more tightest on these shows so we'll see how that goes did you watch anything on Monday, Magic 2?
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I'm like new high boosts showed up and everything how was that show?
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: Not as good as the first one but I thought the tightest match was good it was like tightest at Edamura versus Navarro and and Kaito that was the best match on the
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_02]: And, um, I also didn't get to watch this, but did you watch God versus Alpha Wolf for the National Title?
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not missed that.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't see that.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it is.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry about that.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh, okay, I had, I've been a little busy, so I haven't watched everything I wanted to.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_02]: Did you watch the great show with the Fumaki versus Edo match where Fumaki got injured?
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm afraid not, my- Oh, okay.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: Although I haven't getting into Glate Moore since they went back on YouTube, I will say.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm catching up now.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_02]: I paid the money to watch not congeement versus Super.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: How did that work out?
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, then they announced like a week later.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's even worse than it being bad.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: But I- Like I said, I don't have a visual hatred towards Glate.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_02]: I do have to say you want to- I just wish it would die.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't hate them.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: I just want them to die.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, probably just best for everyone.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: I will say that the president does follow me on Twitter.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I have to, I have to be in allegiance with the Suzuki.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_02]: To see, do you pop your mentions to make sure you call it LaDat UWF?
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, no, but only because I have a call, I haven't spoken on Glate in a while on Twitter.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_01]: I watch this by myself.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't talk about it to others, but I am admitting that fact right here exclusively on the Immalflosio, because Strigger will not watch these shows, like he doesn't care at all.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_01]: He barely watches Noah, so I can barely get him to watch that little and Glate.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_01]: But I hope for Naki's, okay?
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like I think so he got out of the hospital pretty quickly.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like I mean he probably should retire if he's getting neck injuries at his age stuff like that.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean he's what he's one of the great.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean it's not like he has anything left to prove at this point, right?
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just like just the way that how if you think about how many brushes in Japan have just bumped on their neck for too long, it's a sign that you know, you don't want to end up like it's bad it's only go tony or something like or talk the
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_02]: or anything like that, right?
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the man who played Cosmic Kiryu who always be alleged in my book, you know, no matter how many bumps he takes, or what he does, you know, take race mission.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_02]: Handcreens mission forever.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: So we move over to Al Jepan and they had their,
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_02]: fan Thanksgiving day on the 11th at Shinjuku face 530 fans for the supernova agency full house.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_02]: I believe this sell sold out ahead of time and we'll start off the show with Kuma Rashid if you can write you on in 1533 with a diving sentence.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: which is a bit of, it was a big upset to start off the show.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_02]: I thought this was a nice solid little opener.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I think I like Kuma Rashi more than Yudu Dillon.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, you might as well do something with them, I think he deserves it for how hard he's worked.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's been around.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_01]: There's no doubt he's been wrestling.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's got, you know, do look a little bit.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, is his hair?
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's changed.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's grown up a hair.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so maybe this is a side that he knows things are getting serious.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_01]: So he has to change up the hair.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, you know, I don't hate him, but he's not somebody I feel like, oh, I really want to see this Kubo Rashi match.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like there really aren't any matches that I can think of that are like that.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe like wrestle one days.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_01]: He was somebody I thought had potential, but not in all Japan.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what he does, but he's okay.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he's meant.
- 1:03:55[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then we had, you know, Disney's second motto, her car set in Sikyushiyoka, defeating Musashi, Kengo, Machimo, and Yukumi Omoto in 749, with the sauce and special X version 10.2 segue from Yushiyoka and Musashi.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_02]: And now Yushiyoka and Musashi have the most heated feud of the company.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I pretty strongly question that book to be honest, but they're great wrestlers, so I like seeing them wrestle each other.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_01]: Whether it's in this match or the match, you know, come up and talk about every time they go against each other, they're just, they're died of mine.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_01]: I really love them.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_01]: Both, that's wrestlers.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_01]: I made this point to somebody, uh, I was like, man, I really hope Yoshioka doesn't kind of go back down to get lost in the shuffle.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like again, that this team is not a priority at the moment.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, that not looks like they might be splitting apart.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I hope Yoshioka doesn't get lost in the shuffle because I think he would be a great top tier player for the junior division.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it moves off.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_01]: She as well.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_01]: But it looks like he might be getting more focus on coming up.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_02]: So then we
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_02]: Say go touch you by the feet of bread.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_01]: I obeyed Palo's in service in 623 by count out Dylan poppin light is not dead And it never will be it in this company But I will say this if this leads to a touchy bottom push which it did when we know for spoiler We know for a fact it is going to do yet.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: I can live with with that.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_01]: I will sacrifice our pride of the King's road If it means say go finally gets wins, and it looks like that's where we're headed and then
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_02]: We had June, Sato, Hadecki, Suzuki, Chetaro, Chetaro, Chetaro, what a team.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_02]: The fitting, Hopo Tomori, ASKIA, Yagi, and Dan Tamor, and 1150, with the seco-break from Sato on Omore, which was just your perfunctory six man.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_02]: And then in the main event, Kencho Bihar and Goshio Zaki, defeated Yuma and Zai and rising high at toe in 1909 with a strong arm, marriette from Shio Zaki on Hayato.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_02]: Now, we're certainly this is supposed to be Kencho and Govers is real in a way, and showed a Khufuji, but they both got flue,
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_02]: So, but I was looking forward to that match, but we got probably a better alternative in this one.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, how is this such an upgrade?
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_01]: In terms of star power.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I would have been fine with, I think the other one would still work.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, but they're good.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_01]: I love real in a way.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's my guy.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we both love Kofuji.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_01]: But in terms of star power, like these guys are multiple time champions.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like that are getting suited.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_01]: The other guys have not been multiple time champions.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so, yeah, this was really great.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought that I had an in-go group really well together actually.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_02]: The return of X-seed.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: Goxie shirt and Kenna's very puzzled.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_01]: That was awesome.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_01]: All of this was, like, tickled me a lot.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_01]: I do have to say because I love their first iteration of their team.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's a shame how it all had to end with Go.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_01]: What's a good leavey your company.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_01]: I dry as he's not known to do ever outside of that one moment in time.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now to be there.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_02]: No, I sort of.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_02]: Fuck some people over when you left.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean you're right.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're right I'm not even all you can hide and dry, but also they probably couldn't afford to pay him Yeah, they definitely could not There's no doubt about it.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_01]: I am pro worker like 99% of the time.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: I felt bad all the things Kento was like that was really his big moment But little did we yeah, but little did we know that he would have much bigger things in the near future from that After Suabha had to give up the title
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was going to say, Kento got screwed over twice once but we go leaving and then another time by Swamma's that kill he's tended injury, but he still was fun.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_01]: He ascended the heights greater than anyone could have thought at the time.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I love the team.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_01]: They had a great match with the Akiyama No Mori.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_01]: I remember very well with the Wanda Meltz and I think that they have a great chemistry together and obviously like we know
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_01]: All right, excuse me, hi onto what odds I do, you know, so I thought it was a great match.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, really good made of it.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of underrated on cage match extra.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at the waiting now.
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I thought it was better than a 6.93, it would be more like a 8.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_01]: Did it to me?
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think that that guy's put paying to paper for all Japan?
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to get pushed in like the jobs to Kento and June were just like testing his loyalty.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_01]: But I read on that was that I thought that especially the the Kento loss and the reason why they didn't so fast was I definitely felt like they wanted to get that out of the way because of how things went with Nakajima last time Where Kento never really got his win back so they're like, okay, we're not going to be going to test that position to even risk that though
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_01]: And they got it out of the way right away.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_01]: So now that he signed what you said seems pretty valid.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think now that he's under the contract He could do a lot of good things.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_01]: It does feel like there's still kind of for now anyway Keeping him with attack ranks with Asheno, but if Kinto's the champion, that's a really a fine place to be.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_01]: I would say like oh nothing wrong with that.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, I mean, it wouldn't, it wouldn't shock me at all.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_02]: He wins the triple crown this year, but it also wouldn't shock me if he doesn't.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_01]: It just depends on how much this takes off with the tag team.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think with us, you know, if, if they get on a good ride and maybe they win the tag belts, uh, that could kind of keep him settled.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: But if he was to get a big push, I mean, if you think about it, when the carnival coming up at a couple of months, I feel like he's, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could win.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, he's never won a carnival.
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what we're saying.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_01]: So like if he wins the cardinal he'll probably win the belt afterwards too, so it that makes a that honestly makes a lot of sense if it happened.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think he lost story short what you said I agree with the old old vividly
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, my dream match for December 31st of 2026 is go vs. Anzot actually.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_01]: Man, especially if they kept them apart for the time being hit put them in opposite blocks, that match would be so great.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_02]: So we move on to the 18th that you can keep up.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_02]: Another supernova agency full house at 3037 fans.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's too keep up, but as long as they're still selling that out, that's good.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, rising hot or defeated short of Khufuji with, uh, hit and hit or denashi driver, saw a little opener.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_02]: And then we, the set of brothers versus the, uh, Hobotogun, Hobotogun, more in Cyrus defeated Jude, set of Mr.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_02]: Senator, he joined 946 with the reverse splash on Cyrus.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the joy.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_02]: I used to be hard on Cyrus, but I'm glad he's back.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_02]: I, I, I had to.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, me too.
- 1:10:34[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_02]: And then we had havoc versus back into July with Daisuke Sekamoto and Kendall Machino Machino Machino Machino versus defeating go-shows, I can share with Tara, which you do in 1050, with the Shinkan from uh, Mashimo Ana.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_02]: She don't, and this is a solid match, but we'll, they had to re-match the following week.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_02]: That was even better.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think of this one though?
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think maybe that that's a problem because on the eastern layer that I said I like this one better Oh really okay, and I still do but it's only the thing is it's not that there was anything wrong with the second one It's that I had just seen this and I was I think the second match I came in puzzled a bit why they were doing it at all
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_01]: and maybe that took me out a little bit, not that the second one was bad at all.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I honestly, I would say both matched my review of them would be kind of the same.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_01]: They were pretty basic matches, but worked very well.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_01]: Between all of it, it's not like they were reinventing the well or doing anything crazy.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_01]: They were just doing really good hard hitting wrestling.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_01]: It both of them, but I thought this one had a little bit more pop, and again, I think it has an unfair advantage just because they didn't come first More so than Amy them on his own, but they were both good and both well worked, but I wouldn't say either were like whoa, you know like
- 1:11:44[SPEAKER_01]: The match where like, uh, can go and uh, uh, then when Hadecchi and him won the titles over business tag, that was like a great great match.
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_01]: And these were as good as that.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_01]: I would say.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think one of these teams are going to get a shot.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_02]: at the titans of calamity but it also feels like um like with the cytos going to be back in full strength that they're ultimately going to be the ones that take down the titans of calamity.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_01]: That would make sense and I would like to see a third match between these two teams.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like let the winner gets the title shot.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_01]: The dive of the order and then we can move on to the site of brothers after that.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_02]: And then Kuma Rashid did get a damn tamar in 1201 with the diving sent on.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_02]: I liked it.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was a nice little solid batch and Kuma gets his portion, you know where this is going actually.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think of this one?
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, another one I was kind of described like it did before.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_01]: Basic match worked well, like nothing too crazy about it.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I did think.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_01]: I would have changed the match layout.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_01]: I would have had Tamara like, get on the offensive a little bit more.
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_01]: Here, like, I rushy controlled a lot of it.
- 1:12:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I think some of that, again, it's very basic work.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_01]: And if you like it well worked, then I think you'll probably enjoy this well enough.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're looking for something to really stand out or be flashy, you didn't give up for it.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_01]: For what it was, it was good.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like a good midcard match.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_01]: I would say.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_02]: And then we had the road to the zen and cheat.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_02]: To your tag festival.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Aski, oh, yagi, mousashi, Fuminori, obbe, defeated.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_02]: Seki, oh, shioka, real in a way and mochizuki, junior.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_02]: With the firebird splash from a yagi on mochizuki.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_02]: I thought this was a good little warm-up match.
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_02]: I enjoyed this.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm looking forward to this junior tag festival, and I actually think Mochizuki Judo works really well on theology page junior division I think Mochizuki Junior's works better everywhere No, no matter where is that I'm a huge fan of his He's a guy that's really hasn't gotten a consistent push in DG But he's kind of positioned as kind of the third guy his team at the moment, which are still champions to be fair And that's probably a bigger push that he's gotten in a long time
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_01]: but i love his work i know we saw him versus in a way and do some great things and send singles matches in the crossover show on the toy show and i think he does work very well here i think he's a great fit stylistically and i love how you look at these like
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_01]: All of these guys, you know, in the way it goes, you have junior in a way in Yoshioka, like such a serious team, and then you've got like, oh, Yagi and Abe who are more like of the pop and light style, but still like really good workers.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_01]: as well, and you kind of brought them together where you had good charisma, and which I like not that the other team doesn't have charisma at all.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Motions in a way have great charisma, I would say.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_01]: But they're doing great, things really good pace, and this was definitely the best match on this show in my opinion.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_01]: That turn of it looks so good, too.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, yeah, I think it's like really promising lineup.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get into why I think winning that thing in a second.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_02]: And then triple-crunch scurros, talos, Red Eye Abbey, and Yuma Anzidefeet, Kento Bihara, Hedekis, Zuki, and Rikihan, and 605 with the big boot from talos on Honda.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_02]: I actually did like this batch.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'd probably give the edge to the junior match, but this was quite a lot of fun, too, though.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_02]: And it was a good, mostly a good main event.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I'd.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_02]: having Anza in there with Talismar and Abby really helped that team.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I do say like you I have a big-time supporter of Talos.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_01]: I like to think we, you know One of us if not both are driving the Talos train right now.
- 1:15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and we'll talk about his singles match But I think this match was really effective as a build-up to that because a lot of it was Talos basically being like the mountain for a kento here Which I think is a great usage of him.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_01]: They played the match like that Talos looks super strong throughout
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Kento did a great job of building up to where we would go.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_01]: So a really good six-man match and a really good main event.
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_01]: But mainly, I think it was even better as a buildup that has a match on its own.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_02]: Well sometimes, like, you just want to sort of do the build and everything like that.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's what it should have been.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like to me, that's a positive sign.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_02]: And so the next thing would this very same day in Dragon Gate in a big surprise, Don Fuji and Masatuki Mochizuki defeated that issue in Yoshiki Kato in 1503 toward the all-a-taiki titles.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't seen this match yet.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_02]: Have you
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_01]: I have, and all I have to say is, damn you water on this, how could you, how could you screw up, uh, Eashin and Kato here, and I don't know what to deal is with this to be honest why they did this because Kato and Eashin are very heavily pushed guys in DG, it's not like they're, you know, other down so you know, they are a very good team.
- 1:16:59[SPEAKER_01]: Kato and just got a big win because they did it, they did it, Angle.
- 1:17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Where they had a kind of newcomer who was really on the rise even though he's not really a newcomer at all Like if you watch a DG you know who he is, but he was God-brainjury with a didgery for a while But they had LCLO he was planning to get a title shot against Madoka Kuda who's like Kato and issues leader of their unit and Kato was like, no screw that like you're not gonna get a title shot.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_01]: You got to go through me first
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_01]: and obviously in wrestling that means the baby face has got to go through the heel fact should get to the leader, but in this case it didn't happen, Kato actually beat him and stopped his title challenge, so that shows you that Kato was a guy getting pushed as a singles and as a tag team here, and yet for whatever reason, and any should not is obviously super popular and very well-liked at all that, but for whatever reason they decided the old guys need belts, and
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_01]: And all Asia titles is where to go with it.
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_01]: It was a pretty good match.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, it felt like a big upset win You know, you had one a plate of big part of the match, too You know, he it's not like he just was there to just a referee.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_01]: He was very much in tune with it all and they built to the crowd The crowd was really buying into the baby faces and then they pulled it off.
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_01]: So upset win
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why they did it, but I think we all love those two anyway, like Mochizuki and Dodd Fuji.
- 1:18:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think anyone was complaining.
- 1:18:22[SPEAKER_02]: It just was confusing because of Kato and I guess I shouldn't be surprised that why I'd have played a big role in the match, considering they advertised that he was going to be the special referee for the match.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was the draw of that match.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_02]: You should draw a quote.
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_02]: And this is kind of why I think in a way in Mochizuki Jr. might win this tournament.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_01]: and rising hotovers is done for the most stocky much as you can like it seems yeah your idea makes a lot of sense and that's a good way for these titles to go from both sides like whether DG or algebra but I will say the working relationship between these two companies has worked out pretty surprisingly well because I think you know on paper
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_01]: their identities as companies are pretty much opposite of each other but and that's what works actually and they've melted them together quite well actually you know and and the way they've used them is strong and I like what we've seen with them and I mean they've always been that way even with like Susumu was the junior champion and all Japan that was awesome well like you know everybody loved it run
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so every time they work together it really works and I think they're getting more and more ramped up And that's one good thing I have to say about the booking in all Japan right now is that working with them more has opened up a lot of good avenues and Yeah, this was a surprise move, but it does make sense.
- 1:19:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think that I really have no issues with coaches who can food you if they make an appearance in all Japan at all.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_01]: how many ways are you going to try to get rid of our yaki of this ruster jork give him a chance when he returns yeah uh... who would fit best uh... you know i think in a way i actually think so their champion right now and i mean he was here in all japan not that long ago not kuda uh... who is also been on japan yeah he did a great job of the carnival and he works well i actually don't think he's like
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_01]: a top tier dream gate champion like the way they use him and and as this heel run right now but i think if he were an algebra pad we saw that he could fit in really well i think that unlocks the best of him and i i think that that would be a great trade i think oh y'all you would get unlocked if he wants to be he really just depends on his mindset more than his talent level uh on there but yeah i think a couto would be a great trade uh in there
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if you wanted somebody like that and I think that would be a good pick to where they're at on the court They feel like they're in similar spots in both companies like top guy, but maybe not the top guy You know, so I think it would be a good spot and I do think he could as probably gonna lose his title soon It is so you know We'll see I hope somebody and and dragates in the carnival this year too if it's not cocooning
- 1:21:02[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't, I don't have any problem with ASCII really, but if I had to trade the brothers for a unit, I would trade, uh, Kakura and, um, kind of, for the area of the brothers.
- 1:21:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah, that lets E should be a top star dragon game, which I would definitely would like.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_01]: What about Kytho?
- 1:21:21[SPEAKER_01]: Where will Kytho's loyalty line?
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_01]: That needs to be the first one.
- 1:21:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it would be great for Kytho to come back, but I can't trade a young guy for it.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, somebody in the shadow of his career.
- 1:21:32[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, Kytho, Kytho, he was here last year, he wasn't, he didn't look too bad, actually.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, it wasn't great, but it wasn't too bad in the tag run they had.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so maybe good maybe good luck to kind bring him back You know, you know, he was in that tag title match.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's in the I'm the outside of the ring.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's true, but it was still a good match.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_02]: So if you want to find the champion carnival
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to disparage my guy like that, you can, but I'm going to, and I, yeah, him with the carnival would be good.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_01]: The thing is, Kai's old and kind of broken down now, you know, like, and he's not in a, it's actually been worse in past years.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_01]: There's been times of DG where it's like, man, like, what's going on with you?
- 1:22:21[SPEAKER_01]: How are you moving?
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_01]: And now it's not that bad.
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing with his old partner, a DG, BB Hulk, where it's like, sometimes you watch him and you're like, God, what happened?
- 1:22:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then other times he surprisingly good.
- 1:22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so yeah, but Kikuda and Kato in all Japan would be great.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_01]: Kato's another kind of big guy like that's to think this crew is kind of like bigger guys.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, yeah, like that would be good out there.
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think that, uh, oh, Yagi's two intertwined with the promotion itself.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Even now, kid to me, I don't like that.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Well, see what I'm thinking is though, interestingly enough, and this is all pure speculation on my part.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_02]: Ayolagi gets suspended, goes slides in, go clearly has his own vision of progress that clashes, I think, a bit with what Ayolagi likes, so if you're trying to see what happens in
- 1:23:10[SPEAKER_02]: Because like, look, I can't imagine that Go is just punching in, wrestling and punching out.
- 1:23:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's got to have some, because we think, I think, right?
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm almost certain that that's true.
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what could think?
- 1:23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Stocking you don't go.
- 1:23:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:23:26[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing.
- 1:23:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's only one explanation for that.
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, so that would be interesting.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe to be a showdown between Aliyagi and Go, who's vision will reign a turtle in all Japan.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh God.
- 1:23:37[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, it's so we move on to the 25th and their big show at, uh, Nakuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall number four in front of 1,057 fans.
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_02]: And frankly, anytime that algebra pan pulls 1,000 fans or more, I'm set of Tokyo, I think is the accomplishment for them.
- 1:23:56[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so this good solid number.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I don't think anybody can argue that's in Chiba.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, so the first match of the show, right behind Ren Ayabbe, Rio, in a way, and Ayabbe, in Ayabbe, in Ayabbe, Yoshida, Diffin, Duma, and Zai, rising Ayabbe to Shota, Kofugi, and Mr. Sato, Nuri, Dway, you know, in 14, 16 with the Canon suit cuts from in a way on Kofugi, solid opener.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_02]: And we could probably spend 20 minutes talking about what became in Ayabbe Yoshida,
- 1:24:28[SPEAKER_02]: And everything like that, like whether it's gin or his or his faded new Japan run that God destroyed by talk of a chinocous lettery, you know, the kai is at bad timing.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:24:43[SPEAKER_01]: that is true.
- 1:24:45[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's been times where Yoshi just looked a lot worse than that to be fair.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he, I kind of don't see a lot of him since he turned heel, but it seems like the heel earned what Zalzwick's used to be a little lazier.
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that seems to happen a lot, actually.
- 1:25:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not heel turning wrestlers, particularly in your pay.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's still fairly young.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's probably in his early 30s now.
- 1:25:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's actually, it's not old, it's a problem, it's just, you know, I just, I think that you're not going to, there's only so high you could go into a W, I would say, and for some reason he doesn't want to go in the higher, it seems like sometimes.
- 1:25:22[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that's it.
- 1:25:23[SPEAKER_01]: I will say this.
- 1:25:24[SPEAKER_01]: The number was good.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_01]: The crowd in attendance.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think was that great.
- 1:25:28[SPEAKER_01]: And the building itself, the optics is so cavernous.
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not good.
- 1:25:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's a big, uh, and then you go to a convention center and hold his show in the middle of the hall.
- 1:25:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_01]: That seems like something I probably was wrestling at at some point in my career.
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's like something I probably did.
- 1:25:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it was probably bad.
- 1:25:46[SPEAKER_01]: It wouldn't happen.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_01]: Not worse than wrestling at Chucky Cheese, which also didn't happen.
- 1:25:51[SPEAKER_01]: But nevertheless, this was, the venue just wasn't that good, ultimately.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_01]: And that did take a toll on a lot of these undercard matches, especially.
- 1:26:01[SPEAKER_01]: but it was a good match like look at all these guys like it's not going to be bad with these eight guys and I guess unless I have a was in 100% of the time us his team but that that didn't happen.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it was good.
- 1:26:13[SPEAKER_02]: So we have for the prestigious AJPWTV six-man taking titles Suhwama, Hadekis Suzuki, Dan Tamran, defeat Hokotoba, Mori, Kuma Rashi, Takashi, and 1101 with the
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_02]: They, this is a failed set at the fence, wow.
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_02]: And then, so, Bucketham Jedi are the 12 champions.
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_02]: And, well, Swamma is back in this company.
- 1:26:43[SPEAKER_02]: I believe, was this supposed to be Kengo and Kengo got sick?
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think so.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, something got sick.
- 1:26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Is it a Kengo or Sato?
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Sato, sorry, Sato.
- 1:26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it was Sato.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:26:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_02]: So that was a champion again in the hundred.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, does that mean they were going to win with Sato?
- 1:26:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like evolution is soon so.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Because you could just had Dan eat the fall.
- 1:27:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're right.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah.
- 1:27:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, to be honest, even if Suwaba, if this is going to be a short-term title, right, that's fine.
- 1:27:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like if Suwaba is like, hey, I'll wrestle a few shows for you at the end of the month.
- 1:27:18[SPEAKER_01]: They could easily drop these again if they so wanted.
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody will deny it that.
- 1:27:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, these titles are meaningless, but honestly, this is like not a bad little team to hold them.
- 1:27:27[SPEAKER_01]: No, not at all.
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's much better than Hadecchi and Swamaz attack team, by adding Tom around to the match.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_02]: He modes ill-fitted take.
- 1:27:35[SPEAKER_02]: If they had formed that tag team like five years earlier, he would have been like amazing.
- 1:27:41[SPEAKER_01]: Unless that's not what happened.
- 1:27:43[SPEAKER_01]: Then what we got was kind of bad.
- 1:27:45[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 1:27:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:27:48[SPEAKER_02]: Special singles back.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Sasha Giffy and Seki Oshiuk and 1313 with Wamaz Astral.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think this feed is over.
- 1:27:55[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 1:27:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let them wrestle more just like I said earlier.
- 1:27:58[SPEAKER_01]: I really hope Yoshi I hope it's not over because I want Yoshioka to get more shine like I don't want him to go And just be like well That's over with so now we're like we're gonna move Musashi up and now Yoshioka is gonna be in the six main division with random people Because I like they wrestled really good.
- 1:28:14[SPEAKER_01]: I thought the match was like really strong actually.
- 1:28:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah for sure also well Yes, I just do only think I would say is like that's why did you just felt like there's gonna be more
- 1:28:24[SPEAKER_02]: This didn't feel it.
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_02]: They're junior title match actually felt quite definitive.
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, I'm like, I'm just not like, I'm just like, this model and I'll be like, I'm going back to the next day.
- 1:28:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I agree with you.
- 1:28:39[SPEAKER_01]: They'll be more coming from this to these two.
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we'll see him in the tournament as well.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they're, you know, their team's battle enough.
- 1:28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh,
- 1:28:48[SPEAKER_02]: have a versus back and over to die go she was occupying shutara shino defeated dice case second motor in kengo machimo in 1634 by referee stop a shino got a machimo with an ankle lock but the rama machimo did not like that because he argued with the rath but a shino had a completely trapped and couldn't escape.
- 1:29:08[SPEAKER_01]: take things to the refugees ended up what do you think of that finish like why couldn't much more just tap you you have to protect it can be can go i think you don't understand that but the president of all japan are just go understand that and you bought just answered and they just knew that this was too is he's just too big you cannot have him doing clean loss okay no honesty i think that they
- 1:29:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they want this to continue to.
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like then I consider this like an undefined to finish and maybe run this back and on the line.
- 1:29:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think there's that much gas left between these two.
- 1:29:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think that they can move on and do something else all around.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I like the Baccono GDI team.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like I have great nostalgia for both men.
- 1:29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:29:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I have, and in this company, and and outside of all Japan, I think they both have great things.
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think they're like, they're not knocking anyone's socks off at this point.
- 1:30:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like their midcard players to me, and like maybe a bunch, like once in a while you could build them up to a major title show.
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_01]: But really, I think their home is going to be in the midcard scene.
- 1:30:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Kavik has a lot more upside to them.
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope that they move on to the third match.
- 1:30:20[SPEAKER_01]: Again, you had one in one, you know, because they won the match earlier in the week.
- 1:30:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then maybe you can have a definitive finish there and maybe that's the sign that they want to do that.
- 1:30:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:30:30[SPEAKER_02]: That looks set up.
- 1:30:31[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the next challenges for the take, that was a set.
- 1:30:34[SPEAKER_02]: So, a third of these guys got time to have a third match to suit us.
- 1:30:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:30:38[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a great undercurrent match.
- 1:30:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, like, have to match it this on.
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:30:43[SPEAKER_02]: They need to run more things in the undercurrent.
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just do more with the undercurrent.
- 1:30:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:30:49[UNKNOWN]: More.
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_01]: programs that don't have titles involved in stuff like that right what you see like they took a step towards on this very show because you had to match his back to back with the junior match this the junior build up match and then oh we forgot to talk about junior set of a Cyrus I'm sorry I didn't forget I just hope you'd move off from it although I mean
- 1:31:09[SPEAKER_02]: I kept it relatively short in a lot of the minutes.
- 1:31:11[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of fear that I'm going to go longer.
- 1:31:13[SPEAKER_02]: It was what I expected it to be.
- 1:31:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have anything else to say about it, right?
- 1:31:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it just, like, said, I don't want to sit here and say that a match with Cyrus wasn't that good.
- 1:31:22[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think it wasn't that good.
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_01]: I do have to say.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think the biggest problem to me was, like, look, they had cut a few minutes off when Cyrus was just dragging June around the other time, I would have been a lot better.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder how what wrestling would look like if there was a universal rule implied like like a agreed upon by all bookers and wrestlers at the same time where it's like you cannot go out of the ring or brawl into the crowd anymore like that is now it's too much five minutes from every can't put me a haram
- 1:31:53[SPEAKER_01]: That is true, but I think it likes that I think a lot of people would be lost without it.
- 1:31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Not just him.
- 1:31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh Like a ton of wrestlers and be like what how can we wrestle these matches now?
- 1:32:04[SPEAKER_02]: Here Well, no because it's like the same thing is and and size adopt this too They both have more outside the ring in the first five to ten minutes that not spot can't just got the headbots and then like
- 1:32:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just got that flying forearm over the barrier, and now that at least looks cool, but And in New Japan every single wrestler spot is to throw guys into the chairs And then it's in the crowd like find it if you spot and throw people into the chairs like I've seen it one million times like on here So only good outside brawling was business tag versus the cytos
- 1:32:37[SPEAKER_01]: That was great.
- 1:32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:32:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's where a lot of people, I was one of the, I've probably, I may have been the only one that actually like the site of brothers, basically their whole career, like even their young run, like as rookie wrestlers, I thought, okay, they're bringing something different, the Sumo style is really used here.
- 1:32:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I was more higher on them than a lot of people, but then finally in that match happened and finally clicked with, and even by that point, when they did do the voodoo murder's reunion, I even I was out on that.
- 1:33:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was like, okay, no, I can't defend this ever and but did this that came back You know like what's they did that brawl you match everybody like them and they went off to the races and that's the man You want to get rid of who'd you heard the one who saved the site of brother's career.
- 1:33:20[SPEAKER_02]: I think that we'd be the side of who's as a taking back
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I feel June has, it's weird to say this and I was saying this before because I was recording with a Fred Moreland and he's gotten the, um, the good, the bad and the, um, oh my god, the hunky yeah, the hunky sorry, I, it, uh, he was just, and they do every year like a like a promotional thing.
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_02]: where they could just go through all these different promotions.
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I talked about Al Jepando and DVT.
- 1:33:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's just a couple days ago.
- 1:33:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I think about it even said this before, but it's just fresh in my mind from that.
- 1:33:59[SPEAKER_02]: I actually think that June got better as the triple crown grain went along.
- 1:34:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's just that it was too long and the tooth already by the time he was starting to improve.
- 1:34:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I did like the go match.
- 1:34:11[SPEAKER_02]: So, but at the same time, I don't think he deserved another chance at the triple crown right now.
- 1:34:17[SPEAKER_02]: or anytime soon, so please just give you the tag team back.
- 1:34:20[SPEAKER_01]: It just feels like it's too soon in my opinion.
- 1:34:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like we haven't had enough time to miss you yet in this trip around seed.
- 1:34:27[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe that's where we're headed.
- 1:34:28[SPEAKER_01]: Although, you know, with the carnival coming up on a couple months, we'll have to deal with that a little bit.
- 1:34:33[SPEAKER_01]: But after that, that's what the tag team would be fully informed.
- 1:34:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:34:36[SPEAKER_02]: So, so, so we made a bet for the world, a P2BF world, junior heavyweight championship,
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, that's a small one.
- 1:34:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's just defense and touchy bonnet is the 73rd champion and my god, this came out of nowhere because it's a very long that it's semi main or the junior max is along.
- 1:34:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's back with the show.
- 1:34:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we both commented about how ASCII is getting, it's become way too formulaic, and it's not on matches.
- 1:35:07[SPEAKER_02]: You needed someone to say, go to push out of this.
- 1:35:09[SPEAKER_02]: And this was like the best match of the rain, and it was great.
- 1:35:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I guess it's the best match of all Japan this year so far.
- 1:35:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's fair to say.
- 1:35:18[SPEAKER_01]: I freaking loved this match.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was so good, uh, a totally agree with your statement.
- 1:35:23[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, that's the match of the year of the company so far.
- 1:35:26[SPEAKER_01]: And me and Stricker, we got a little bit of argument on our show about it.
- 1:35:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, because he was kind of downplaying it and was like, I went too long, but actually, I don't think it did.
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think they utilized for the exact reason you brought up, uh, that we felt.
- 1:35:38[SPEAKER_01]: Because our Yagi's been so formulaic, we had somebody to take him out of his water waters and turn it into more of his match.
- 1:35:46[SPEAKER_01]: And Ayagi was down for it to his credit, like he went along with this ride and they really made it work into something like that felt very unique, very special and great.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I think this division is really on point right now and I made a comment last year at some point that I felt it was the best the junior division is bid in all Japan.
- 1:36:08[SPEAKER_01]: I got some blowback for my good friend Irv.
- 1:36:11[SPEAKER_01]: Not that one, he was like, no, wait a minute, what about this run?
- 1:36:14[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, yeah, and you know, I do got to say like he he might be right on that And like he might have been right that era was great in its own right as well You had a lot of good stuff going on then, but it's been I would say this is a very close second to that at least like the where we're at right now I think the divisions in very healthy shape and this match was awesome like you said When's the last time it's been the longest match on the show for this style of match a above a triple crown match
- 1:36:42[SPEAKER_01]: And it was it was great like it said the work was awesome the style of the match the pacing was on point And I thought everything about it was an amazing match Definitely highly recommend watching it if you have it.
- 1:36:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, and that's a good I mean, this was one of the one thing when the crowd was hot Caberned everything like that and just as a feel good moment and
- 1:37:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I hope to, you know, I just hope that it's not like one month later like I don't beat to touch you, but I said that exact thing, the show is like, man, I really hope that, yeah, I hope that doesn't, this is in a bridge tied or ready, even though it it kind of does feel like that.
- 1:37:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to lie.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the thing is, he's going to come on track, he'd rush to, right?
- 1:37:22[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:37:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's one heroes group.
- 1:37:26[SPEAKER_01]: yeah yeah uptown hey that's that's it gonna be in the tournament right that no saw was putting the other is mark the tournament that he's uh doing so maybe we could get him on that maybe like a wrestle universe say go coming forward uh but probably not a probably zero again yeah yeah so uh which is a big down grade but yeah and I and I do agree what you said ultimately
- 1:37:49[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever comes of this, this is a genuine surprise.
- 1:37:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody expected, you know, say you're going to beat Otsuki here and and turned it and it worked out and got him great reaction.
- 1:38:01[SPEAKER_01]: And again, got him great reaction to me because I legit wasn't expecting it.
- 1:38:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure you felt the same way.
- 1:38:07[SPEAKER_01]: So everything about it was very, very strong.
- 1:38:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:38:11[SPEAKER_02]: And so we go to the main event.
- 1:38:13[SPEAKER_02]: Can't show me your hara defeated Talos in 2016 with the shutdown German Suplex Hold to make us forth the fence of the title.
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy to think it's already four defenses.
- 1:38:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know.
- 1:38:22[SPEAKER_02]: His title ring doesn't feel like it's been going that long, but it's actually been going since September.
- 1:38:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's a fighting champion.
- 1:38:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's a running plow.
- 1:38:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's a running plow.
- 1:38:31[SPEAKER_01]: He also turns down multiple title shots.
- 1:38:37[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, this was, it's went too long, but there were some really fun stuff in it.
- 1:38:41[SPEAKER_02]: And like, cows deserts credit for his like bumping for a man of his size, you know, he makes if he takes a few big bumps per match and some big spots like I've got to give this like a three and a quarter maybe a three and a half of a feeling generous.
- 1:38:54[SPEAKER_02]: But in the hands limitations, but it was still a lot of fun at points, but you could have shaved like five minutes off of it I honestly liked this match.
- 1:39:02[SPEAKER_01]: I thought I Now there were I'm not gonna lie there were moments where you know, again, tell us for as much as we like him I think it's fair to say his arsenal might be a little bit limited for a made-up title match
- 1:39:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I totally understand why the comment that it might be a little bit long.
- 1:39:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 1:39:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was.
- 1:39:22[SPEAKER_01]: It would have been better if they cut some time off of it.
- 1:39:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I think ultimately when they finally, I would say this match was better than some of its parts in a lot of ways because if you look at the opening, opening part,
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_01]: I thought they started off, and they were really trying to do a kind of kiddo charisma type of match.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, definitely really draw the crowd in, and then the middle part, it felt like they were a little lost almost at times.
- 1:39:46[SPEAKER_01]: They just didn't have enough to fill out Talus taking control.
- 1:39:49[SPEAKER_01]: But then we got to the finishing stretch.
- 1:39:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's like everything came together and it got awesome.
- 1:39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like all of the sudden.
- 1:39:56[SPEAKER_02]: That black out need to Talus, he was great.
- 1:40:00[SPEAKER_01]: That was great and then tells when he pushed him in the head like what a random move but like great at the time and then yeah can't do it like this show yeah yes yes absolutely big inspiration there from Paul White no more BS in all Japan he said and yeah let you mentioned with the blackout to the knee was awesome set up a great footage stretch and then when he hit the blackout all right the shut down German at the end
- 1:40:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was great.
- 1:40:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think there was legitimate question if he would be able to hit it on a guy that was seven feet tall, but I By God he got that big bad and I say big bastard in loving terms because I do like you a lot That was but he got that big bastard over his head and won the match and it felt awesome like I really try up it with for a guy who really feels like more than pretty much anybody else in wrestling right now He feels like the champion
- 1:40:52[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I so I liked it.
- 1:40:54[SPEAKER_01]: Again, there was rough parts.
- 1:40:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to say it was a flawless match.
- 1:40:57[SPEAKER_01]: But by the end, I liked it.
- 1:40:59[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a successful title defense.
- 1:41:01[SPEAKER_01]: I both end him winning, but also aesthetically in my opinion.
- 1:41:05[SPEAKER_02]: So then June said, it came out, which is where the phrase is.
- 1:41:10[SPEAKER_02]: Too soon, too soon.
- 1:41:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:41:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:41:14[SPEAKER_02]: And he challenged and Cantor was like, no, I don't want to.
- 1:41:17[SPEAKER_02]: But then the company announced that on definitely more Jim, they're going to do the match and they Cantor's like on.
- 1:41:25[SPEAKER_02]: Axen, or social media being like, I've been agreed in it.
- 1:41:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was funny.
- 1:41:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, well, they didn't ask the champion about this match.
- 1:41:31[SPEAKER_01]: Did they?
- 1:41:33[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, uh, there.
- 1:41:33[SPEAKER_01]: What a weird.
- 1:41:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, because if you look into reality, he is a fighting champion.
- 1:41:37[SPEAKER_01]: Based on the history of the title.
- 1:41:40[SPEAKER_01]: But then his storyline is that he's ducking challengers.
- 1:41:42[SPEAKER_01]: Because they tried to do a similar thing with talents in the first place.
- 1:41:45[SPEAKER_01]: So what is this gimmick?
- 1:41:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like a fighting champion who ducks challengers.
- 1:41:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's new.
- 1:41:51[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's something new.
- 1:41:52[SPEAKER_01]: I will say that.
- 1:41:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:41:56[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like too, honestly.
- 1:41:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this is any, because I saw people in the discord, speculated under this was like a heel turn, maybe bumping up.
- 1:42:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:42:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't, I don't I don't speculated many times.
- 1:42:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think that at all.
- 1:42:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think this fit to me feels like something he has come up with on his own to basically abuse himself.
- 1:42:15[SPEAKER_01]: I like it in a lot of ways and it's not going to have any bearing on the matches.
- 1:42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Which it has, like we literally know that it has it because they've like, he said that and then they're going to do the match anyway.
- 1:42:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like this could be a funny type of gimmick.
- 1:42:28[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like remember when Sonata and New Japan every time he goes to a city he'd like, this is my favorite town in the world.
- 1:42:35[SPEAKER_01]: on that whenever had their like cell phone screens at it or lights on and stuff yeah i didn't play into any actual story but it was just something funny that he could do and that's kind of how i feel like this is for kento this is his gimmick that he's gonna pull out and you know it'll be something we expect but then they have the matches anyway like no matter who it is and it could lead to a funny moment if they give him a weak challenger like oh boy and he's like no way i'm not doing this what he'd be right if he didn't say no you are not qualified to
- 1:43:04[SPEAKER_01]: You just lost the trio's time six main titles and you lose it, but yeah, it's good though Like I just wish that they like you said they had held off on the gym.
- 1:43:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, so I mean, there's no chance that Jews winning this right I think we're safe
- 1:43:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think you're right.
- 1:43:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think Kento is let's got the belt, but I mean, this is just a case of Yuma Ayoyaki is suspended.
- 1:43:27[SPEAKER_02]: They don't you can't go back to Anzai and then Ashino and go are doing whatever they're doing in their tag team You know what I would have done?
- 1:43:36[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe instead have Cyrus beat June and just have catified the monsters
- 1:43:41[SPEAKER_01]: That would work.
- 1:43:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would, I would
- 1:44:11[SPEAKER_02]: as you know, like they've never really run that match or maybe they did once, right?
- 1:44:16[SPEAKER_02]: There's a match that hasn't been done that much.
- 1:44:18[SPEAKER_01]: If maybe they keep giving this tag team a strong push without should I go, that could be a good buildup, like to give him a signal as much heading into the carnival.
- 1:44:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:44:27[SPEAKER_01]: I can get behind that, for sure.
- 1:44:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:44:29[SPEAKER_02]: So we've got a few shows coming up for all Japan.
- 1:44:33[SPEAKER_02]: They have their annual show in Okunawa coming up on the first this weekend.
- 1:44:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I wonder if that's gonna be live because that's actually starting at midnight my time.
- 1:44:46[SPEAKER_02]: But I could also see it if it's not because it's in Okinawa.
- 1:44:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:44:50[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know, I'll have to check.
- 1:44:51[SPEAKER_02]: But this is gonna good, look and card.
- 1:44:53[SPEAKER_02]: All things considered.
- 1:44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Shota Kofuji versus Sekiyoshioka opening match.
- 1:44:58[SPEAKER_02]: Second match, not so great.
- 1:44:59[SPEAKER_02]: We saw she versus Iris versus Isawa number one.
- 1:45:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, one.
- 1:45:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:45:04[SPEAKER_02]: I, we got going to Shino versus Honda in Hayato.
- 1:45:08[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you very good.
- 1:45:09[SPEAKER_02]: We've got Atki Ayoyani versus Shisha Bask.
- 1:45:12[SPEAKER_01]: Who could this be?
- 1:45:14[SPEAKER_01]: The Shisha Bask.
- 1:45:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's not soup, is it?
- 1:45:17[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not.
- 1:45:18[SPEAKER_01]: I wish it was.
- 1:45:19[SPEAKER_02]: I believe it's someone who's also a tiger.
- 1:45:23[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 1:45:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's is an argument.
- 1:45:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think, no, it can't be even like if it hasn't been in the past, it hasn't.
- 1:45:32[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, but what happened to him?
- 1:45:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is he even doing like in the soccer floor?
- 1:45:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the graphic picture of him looks like when he was him.
- 1:45:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, it's an oddity, so I see him, I don't know.
- 1:45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Bring it on.
- 1:45:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's funny because what's his, uh, nosa was nowhere around these days.
- 1:45:52[SPEAKER_02]: So he can come.
- 1:45:55[SPEAKER_01]: big change.
- 1:45:57[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a preliminary six man triple crown skirmish here.
- 1:46:01[SPEAKER_02]: Kento Kadaki and Dan versus June said or you might answer in real in a way.
- 1:46:06[SPEAKER_02]: That could be good.
- 1:46:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just interesting mismatch there.
- 1:46:10[SPEAKER_01]: But it could be a lot of fun.
- 1:46:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I said this is a good card.
- 1:46:12[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the main event though.
- 1:46:14[SPEAKER_02]: Right now I have a and tell us defend the world tank team times again.
- 1:46:18[SPEAKER_02]: Hope we're told more in cooler actually.
- 1:46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you said you liked coma.
- 1:46:21[SPEAKER_01]: So this is your best.
- 1:46:24[SPEAKER_02]: Look, with I'll do respect because I think O'Moree can prove that he can be a good wrestler.
- 1:46:28[SPEAKER_02]: I really like that triple-carmage against Canto back in October.
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was the best singles match at Hoko Toa's career.
- 1:46:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's not necessarily guy that can carry more limited opponents.
- 1:46:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and O'Moree challenged Aoyagi the first time when you moved to champion, they had a good, like, somewhere in Hoko Toa O'Moree is a good wrestler.
- 1:46:48[SPEAKER_01]: And he was my guy when he was a rookie, like I thought he was great.
- 1:46:51[SPEAKER_01]: uh... somewhere along the line things have changed however i do have to and uh... cuba i've never loved too much so we'll see how it goes uh... this is gonna be talis's big test year uh... if he if he if he can get a great match here then we know he has to win some kind of award next year i'm going to break the awards for him if that happens in twenty twenty and then on the eleven
- 1:47:15[SPEAKER_02]: of February at Fuji City General Jamizam.
- 1:47:19[SPEAKER_02]: It is just a spot show, so it's like showed a Kufuji versus Kuma Rashi, Hoko-Tomuari versus Juro.
- 1:47:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, no, not just poppin' light.
- 1:47:31[SPEAKER_02]: uh... we got go shiozaki shitaroshio versus human and zi and dan tamara that's as promising yes uh... we've got a uh... tag junior tag festival six man warm up matches ackey aoyaki rising high at her and we saw she versus second shioca real in a way and you yes no no why is this here this is like the biggest mistake that all japan is made this
- 1:47:57[SPEAKER_02]: bringing in to sumo for the junior tank.
- 1:48:00[SPEAKER_01]: And where was he at?
- 1:48:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, even though it was like, no, like this guy's not cutting it.
- 1:48:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was like years ago.
- 1:48:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:48:08[SPEAKER_02]: And then he didn't even breathe him still.
- 1:48:11[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he had somewhere to go to.
- 1:48:13[SPEAKER_02]: He had to fall back on.
- 1:48:15[SPEAKER_02]: So we got René Abbott and Talos versus Adequite and Sago Nachubana.
- 1:48:20[SPEAKER_02]: So it was like a match that Hadekki is not going to try.
- 1:48:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I could totally see that happening, where we get lazy Hadekki here.
- 1:48:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then we have the most anti-climactic triple crowned scrumptious ever, because this can't tell me our aura and right behind a versus June Ceto and saying you were just saying that.
- 1:48:40[SPEAKER_01]: Gee, I wonder who's going to take the fall in that match?
- 1:48:44[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of drama.
- 1:48:45[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:48:46[SPEAKER_02]: And then on the 15th,
- 1:48:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like eight days before, they're out of word gym show.
- 1:48:53[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a cork and haul show.
- 1:48:55[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't think this is gonna draw very well.
- 1:48:57[SPEAKER_02]: Cause all they have, well, I'll even now so far, the first two first round matches of the Junior Tag Tournament.
- 1:49:06[SPEAKER_02]: So you've got Attsky and Hayado vs. Aweigh and Tatyubana.
- 1:49:09[SPEAKER_02]: And then you have Inowe and Mochizuki Junior vs. Mr. Sido and San Jose.
- 1:49:17[SPEAKER_02]: So, at least, in a way in Mochizuki World, we have to fight another day, I think.
- 1:49:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so we can count on the movie you're on.
- 1:49:24[SPEAKER_02]: If they want it to be really bold, they have Atki and Hayato Goat in the first round.
- 1:49:29[SPEAKER_01]: That would kind of be a brave signal.
- 1:49:31[SPEAKER_02]: But maybe you want to keep them for the finals against in a way in Mochiz.
- 1:49:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 1:49:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the best possible final you can get to.
- 1:49:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:49:39[SPEAKER_02]: And then on the 23rd, which is a Monday holiday Monday.
- 1:49:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that starts at midnight Eastern time.
- 1:49:47[SPEAKER_02]: So that's a reasonable show with 11pm for you, Dylan.
- 1:49:50[SPEAKER_02]: So that's something that I'm going to watch live.
- 1:49:53[SPEAKER_02]: We've got race set as return matches just as race set versus no one yet.
- 1:50:00[SPEAKER_02]: to be announced, because obviously his brother has a Seemal's match elsewhere.
- 1:50:03[SPEAKER_02]: Another first round tag tournament, Natch, Musashi, and Shota Kufuji versus Seki Ashiyoka, and U.S. Assumo, and I'm sorry, but I think, yeah, Kufuji's getting pinned here.
- 1:50:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then for the next tournament, first round, we got Dan Tamara and the Karasato versus,
- 1:50:23[SPEAKER_02]: uh... codice cacophuro and uh... kosher yuki secuda and honestly and i'm feeling like you got to do the surprise stuff and you have cacophuro and secuda dan in car yeah i mean you have like beating sato is no problem but like we're with algebra if they wanted and i like cacophuro a lot and i have no problems with the gun yes
- 1:50:46[SPEAKER_02]: And then we've got gay or a TV championship, Dyskay, Sacramento versus Kuma Rashi.
- 1:50:51[SPEAKER_02]: So this is what they're building up Kuma for.
- 1:50:52[SPEAKER_02]: Now, given that this is the very prestigious gay or a TV title, Dylan, and given how much they've been building up Challenger's, given that, sometimes we'll just announce a Challenger that has, like, not wrestling in the company in, like, two years, coming in back to challenge for this title.
- 1:51:07[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think that Kuma Rashi actually is a chance?
- 1:51:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, but it's the V1 for second motive.
- 1:51:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, got to go, but it's like they really like worked hard to set up a rashi for this and I think that's admirable I think this is a good like this is a good spot for hip.
- 1:51:23[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 1:51:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so It's a good spot for second motor or two again I think this is about where he maxes out for a regular roll like I think yeah
- 1:51:33[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what I was going to say is, um, I'm happy that Psychobotus here, although I think this gay or a TV talent run in beating a sheath was the price of Psychobotus, like being a regular and all Japan.
- 1:51:45[SPEAKER_02]: Probably not a talent run of some kind.
- 1:51:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:51:48[SPEAKER_01]: Ashton always gets a bad stick in this company.
- 1:51:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:51:52[SPEAKER_01]: But look.
- 1:51:53[SPEAKER_01]: Dysuke, I will be forgiven if you shepherd you aoki over that's true.
- 1:51:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we called for earlier and he may be the key He doesn't make this happen put out aoki in the champion carnival and
- 1:52:06[SPEAKER_02]: In the main event, we've got Kento Mia Harv versus June Sato and will the triple crown curse continue between these two where they're their champion cardinal matches are better than their triple card matches.
- 1:52:17[SPEAKER_02]: We shall see.
- 1:52:18[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I like it said it's not that exciting to me, but hopefully Kento.
- 1:52:22[SPEAKER_01]: Kento's on a really good run right now.
- 1:52:23[SPEAKER_02]: I would say, Kento's on a good run and I do think June has improved.
- 1:52:28[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't really have high expectations, but I
- 1:52:31[SPEAKER_02]: think that I could be surprised.
- 1:52:34[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.
- 1:52:35[SPEAKER_01]: This is a chance to prove those words accurate.
- 1:52:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:52:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you never, like, if June ever wants to be triple count champion again, he needs to show that he continues to improve basically.
- 1:52:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:52:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's the key thing.
- 1:52:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree with that.
- 1:52:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, oh, I just realized that I missed some Noah previews.
- 1:52:55[SPEAKER_02]: So obviously,
- 1:53:01[SPEAKER_02]: uh... the mystery allied pro out quote unquote or the quick rule of the jump on versus kind of how to end up and we got your shiki in a mirror versus uh... to costy's to gara and we already went over what's going to happen with that and then no was got their junior tournament coming up and what do you think about that no junior tournament uh... that is a good as the all-japan one but i like it uh... uh... on the on paper like well i mean you've got your a mask of backman's array
- 1:53:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, versus true and Lacy.
- 1:53:34[SPEAKER_02]: So we could figure out who's going to win there.
- 1:53:36[SPEAKER_02]: I like them enough, and they just have another shot, I think.
- 1:53:40[SPEAKER_02]: We've got to be in the Rokey versus Tatuskaya and Junmasa.
- 1:53:43[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, God.
- 1:53:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm so good.
- 1:53:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I assume they're going to, the team, 2016's going to win.
- 1:53:49[SPEAKER_02]: And then we got Daka and Dikki, Otoxime versus Ada and Ketsumi inabada.
- 1:53:58[SPEAKER_02]: We've got Dragon Bane in Alejandro versus Alfa Wolf and Kai Fujimura.
- 1:54:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I said, it's not as good as the Algebra One, but I do like it.
- 1:54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like I like it.
- 1:54:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:54:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the thing is that this is on paper, I think, pretty good.
- 1:54:15[SPEAKER_02]: I just think that the booking could totally just be completely crazy and ridiculous.
- 1:54:23[SPEAKER_02]: And that's going to harm it.
- 1:54:24[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a leak.
- 1:54:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:54:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so everyone's going to impress everybody pretty well again.
- 1:54:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really have a ton of, you know, anything crazy in there and who do you have?
- 1:54:37[SPEAKER_01]: What are the terms of it?
- 1:54:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, in Alejandro.
- 1:54:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that makes the most sense.
- 1:54:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of give us a revenge for the awful of turning on them.
- 1:54:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:54:46[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so, uh, last thing, Dylan, I made a prediction for this year that no of would, um, this is very harsh, maybe too harsh, but no would win the worst promotion of the year by February.
- 1:54:59[SPEAKER_02]: And that.
- 1:55:00[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's, that's over dramatic, I made that predict prediction to which, just a couple days after January 1st, like you have to understand the state of mind I was in.
- 1:55:13[SPEAKER_01]: I understand.
- 1:55:13[SPEAKER_01]: After watching that show, I can understand why you were feeling that way, but there's a lot of companies though.
- 1:55:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you wanted a really deep dive, I bet we can easily find worse companies.
- 1:55:24[SPEAKER_01]: What about Dupfro?
- 1:55:26[SPEAKER_02]: What about Dupfro?
- 1:55:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I question many of us, so over the time.
- 1:55:30[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't various reasons?
- 1:55:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's not that all Japan doesn't have its weaknesses, like to June set over, since Ken to again.
- 1:55:38[SPEAKER_02]: I still think that they're in a better trajectory right now
- 1:55:43[SPEAKER_02]: have been for this year.
- 1:55:44[SPEAKER_01]: What about Glate?
- 1:55:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like if they go out of business with they count as a first worst company?
- 1:55:50[SPEAKER_01]: No, because they're not bad.
- 1:55:53[SPEAKER_01]: They're booking is stupid though.
- 1:55:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
- 1:55:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's David.
- 1:55:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very like weird company where does he have to shoot injured someone to get a big win?
- 1:56:04[SPEAKER_01]: So that's true.
- 1:56:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, unfortunately, and honestly, I haven't seen it and I've got to watch it, but I think Lyndon in versus Soma could be a good match.
- 1:56:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, me too.
- 1:56:15[SPEAKER_02]: Check the reviews on it or anything at all.
- 1:56:16[SPEAKER_01]: So I wasn't thrilled with a little bit's first title running.
- 1:56:20[SPEAKER_02]: I know you like you went on.
- 1:56:22[SPEAKER_02]: I remember you went on this big along discussion of like why living means one side audio and it was like a long like thing.
- 1:56:29[SPEAKER_02]: You said all the reasons why like Linda means Tyler run was disappointing because also I think that when he did that that's when he was in the best in the super Yeah, well
- 1:56:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was my big complaint for any much as I think and he would go to New Japan and they'd book him like like I think he was like literally tied for last Is this division or whatever is blocked that year For for the junior tournament in New Japan and he was champion at the time and it's like dude what Yeah, so that very much annoying me that whole thing But I don't know and ever since he lost his title it feels like he's been a ghost like the last two years like watching me felt very under
- 1:57:04[SPEAKER_01]: his motivation level had made out of it very high, but as champion maybe he'll get some of that shine back, and I like Soma, so yeah, Glitz okay.
- 1:57:12[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 1:57:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they'll win worse than the area and if even if they shut down, but
- 1:57:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree with you though, all Japan's better than Noah right now, but I don't think Noah's been that bad to where I can be like, you know, I've honestly had years where I was much more irritated at them actually, you know, where I was like, things were a lot worse than my mind.
- 1:57:31[SPEAKER_01]: I do think they really need to do something about this world title scene just because it looks like fun.
- 1:57:37[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we should talk about this once we, they run Sugara versus,
- 1:57:43[SPEAKER_01]: in a morrow because it would be like third straight team 2000 x bullshit type thing in a row and that's gonna really great on me who will be the one to attack cano after the match what he comes out to challenge once you've been 15 2000 x could just be third times a churn for cano or Yoshi tatsu drops him into the clairs he's coming very good title shot
- 1:58:04[SPEAKER_01]: They should tease that, just to see how that works.
- 1:58:07[SPEAKER_01]: That would actually be awesome, and that's what Keno like fires back.
- 1:58:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like Yoshi taught to tries to attack her, but it looks like he's about to do the same thing again, but that Keno gets up and beats the crap out of Yoshi taught to.
- 1:58:16[SPEAKER_01]: And gets his taught to show.
- 1:58:18[SPEAKER_01]: Or sure.
- 1:58:19[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Dylan, thank you so much for coming on and filling in.
- 1:58:22[SPEAKER_02]: This is really appreciated.
- 1:58:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm glad that we could talk about everything going on and sort of the state of these two companies.
- 1:58:28[SPEAKER_02]: So getting your plugs.
- 1:58:29[SPEAKER_01]: If nothing else, I'm always reliable and I'm always here free.
- 1:58:33[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to know that.
- 1:58:34[SPEAKER_01]: Anytime you need amazing.
- 1:58:35[SPEAKER_02]: I really appreciate that.
- 1:58:36[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:58:37[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and I love being on.
- 1:58:38[SPEAKER_01]: I love talking to all of the Iberd flow show fans out there and hopefully everybody enjoys my appearances, whether it's this time, last time, or the next time, I'm certain I'll be back at some point.
- 1:58:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then I said, you've helped me a lot a lot too over the years.
- 1:58:52[SPEAKER_01]: I love doing our Hall of Fame shows together.
- 1:58:55[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 1:58:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I always want us to do something on the regular show, too.
- 1:58:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like we just need to find something that's outside of this lane like you, your flow show lane.
- 1:59:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I'd love to do that.
- 1:59:10[SPEAKER_01]: Actually.
- 1:59:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we were going to do the 2000s project but all the videos disappeared online.
- 1:59:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like that's the problem.
- 1:59:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's very hard.
- 1:59:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I could come up with a list from the odds pretty easily though.
- 1:59:24[SPEAKER_02]: I won't be too, but watching them would be helpful.
- 1:59:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I could make a list, but yeah, I would like to watch these too, but we do them.
- 1:59:33[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, we'll see what happens.
- 1:59:34[SPEAKER_01]: We'll do something for sure.
- 1:59:35[SPEAKER_01]: I promise.
- 1:59:36[SPEAKER_01]: I told you off the air, I've a project in mind.
- 1:59:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be pretty major.
- 1:59:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I will have you in part of that in some form of fashion.
- 1:59:43[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, check me out on the Eastern area.
- 1:59:45[SPEAKER_01]: We just had our award show.
- 1:59:47[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of great voters happened.
- 1:59:49[SPEAKER_01]: We had a ton of votes and it all came together for a great class I thought.
- 1:59:54[SPEAKER_01]: The year of Sia Kamatani was not just for Tokyo sports, it was also in the eastern area of the wards and it was a big deal.
- 2:00:00[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody loved it.
- 2:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: We got to support of a band, like a real-life band of Cestadera who was like freaking awesome actually to deal with and I liked this song too and a lot of the fans liked it too.
- 2:00:11[SPEAKER_01]: So that was really cool.
- 2:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to have a new episode too, that's after that, where we talked about a lot of stuff happening in New Japan, we went on a big dragon gate run, we talked about DDT.
- 2:00:23[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about Noah for like two minutes maybe, like that was the most I can get out of the stringa.
- 2:00:28[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't really not like a Noah A.
- 2:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, and I knew I knew he died.
- 2:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: I already know he didn't team 2,000 exidus.
- 2:00:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was against Noah before that actually.
- 2:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: Even because I remember he was there live last year in the 2025 New Year Show like January 1st year and a lot of people liked that when I was Noah won the title and he came back to us and I was like, hey man, finally no one knew champion those hours hot and he's like,
- 2:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: And so he just he's I don't know what his thing is, but one day I'm going to win him over again I'm going to make him like Noah Maybe not now with smack daddy is champion, but when you can't know what's about back.
- 2:01:09[SPEAKER_01]: I know he'll be one over again.
- 2:01:11[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's funny that you say Sturgeon was there for the 2025 Know-a-the-new year because Paul gets stuck at the bad know-a-the-new year shows Hoda Bushi and he was there for
- 2:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's where it all started.
- 2:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: That Abushi and Marfuji match was so bad.
- 2:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: It like, like, string is love died on that day.
- 2:01:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's the same thing, you know, Gerard.
- 2:01:37[SPEAKER_01]: If you truly love somebody and then they break your heart, it's hard to get that back.
- 2:01:43[SPEAKER_01]: you know at the end of the day and I think that that's the same thing with Stricka and Noah like he wants love them and they broke his heart probably before that it may have been that during the Muto that I don't rain because he didn't like that either and I hated that too to be fair but regardless besides Noah we talk about all the companies you know and Chloe Joshy
- 2:02:03[SPEAKER_01]: I did I did the Patriot, I did a Mari Gold review for my Utah He's 15th anniversary show, which is really not that great of a show, actually, but I did like a couple of matches on the show, so that was cool, lots of cool stuff coming ahead for the Eastern Lariat, I do Russell Update, which is so about American wrestling, with my friend Delo Day Angelis, we do a lot of cool stuff there for a Cache match, and that's what I get dragged into watching these American
- 2:02:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to have a luchetalk had a sliced episode, but I'd go to debut a new luchet show coming up soon.
- 2:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Michael.
- 2:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 2:02:41[SPEAKER_01]: Exciting.
- 2:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so it's going to be something you'll have to get it on the luchet podcast market.
- 2:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and Lucia talk, we would do it every once in a while, but after the pandemic happened and Fredo, he just lost this speaking for somebody losing love.
- 2:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: He kind of dropped off.
- 2:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: So we kind of did our thing every month, we do a different show, but we're going to really reboot, you know, it's going to be a reboot, you know, right now.
- 2:03:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking forward to all your reviews of, um,
- 2:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: Triple A, Triple A, yeah, Triple A, Fox Latin America, you got to get it right here, right here, it's a big difference.
- 2:03:15[SPEAKER_02]: No, but this is, it's really just gonna be a CMO, why?
- 2:03:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, we talk about it all the way to.
- 2:03:23[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, I'll be honest, the problem is now, I'm not saying it's good at all, but if you compare it to like 2018 Triple A, when Vampiro was booking, like that was like some of the worst stuff I've ever seen.
- 2:03:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think I may have dropped off of that actually.
- 2:03:39[SPEAKER_01]: We stopped doing that for a few of those things.
- 2:03:41[SPEAKER_02]: There were some really bad stuff.
- 2:03:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm sure I watched some stuff But I've blocked it out of my mind.
- 2:03:45[SPEAKER_01]: It definitely wasn't a regular viewing, but yeah, we'll cover AAA too There's stupid as AAA.
- 2:03:50[SPEAKER_01]: Again, AAA's always been bad though.
- 2:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing.
- 2:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't just start being bad.
- 2:03:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's how you're beginning
- 2:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, except for the beginning when you had a bunch of great stars like Elsa Laura was there and Blue Panther and you know that's not though and then everybody left and it became the company of like supernetic role in the set and all kinds of bad stuff that haven't So yeah, we'll cover the show that'll be a lot of fun, but most importantly, I hope everybody out there is just having fun watching wrestling wherever you get it whether it's Mexico, Japan, America, and America.
- 2:04:18[SPEAKER_01]: Even Europe, maybe even Australia, you can watch those and get stuff all over the world and hope everybody's having fun with that.
- 2:04:25[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, thanks Dylan, so we'll be back in about a couple of weeks for our 100th episode and you're all about post trips to Japan because he's been telling me a few things.
- 2:04:34[SPEAKER_02]: So he's got a lot of stories to look forward to that, but until then, enjoy all the wrestling out there.
- 2:04:39[SPEAKER_02]: Bye.
