Speaker 1: Holy Spirit for this day. Lord, we thank you for
• 0:54
Speaker 1: this day we committed to you. Of course, this October 7th,
• 0:59
Speaker 1: a date of infamy for our friends in Israel. Lord,
• 1:02
Speaker 1: continue to guide that country. You say to pray for
• 1:06
Speaker 1: the peace of Israel, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
• 1:09
Speaker 1: We do that today, Lord. We pray for peace in
• 1:12
Speaker 1: the Middle East. Lord, show us how to help and
• 1:15
Speaker 1: not hinder that process. We pray for wisdom for the
• 1:22
Speaker 1: president regarding those dealings there with Iran. Ukraine, different areas
• 1:29
Speaker 1: are so dangerous. Just praying for our friends in France.
• 1:33
Speaker 1: Just terrible unrest there. Real clash of civilizations, views of
• 1:37
Speaker 1: the future, ways to govern. Lord, just a lot of turmoil.
• 1:41
Speaker 1: We just pray for peace and are restoring to order there.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: Also praying specifically, first of all, a person just says
• 1:54
Speaker 1: they need repentance in their life. God knows what the
• 1:57
Speaker 1: issues are. We do pray that you'd grant that. Lord,
• 2:00
Speaker 1: show them how to turn and follow you more closely. Also,
• 2:07
Speaker 1: a person asking for God's deliverance from different issues in
• 2:11
Speaker 1: their life. You know what's happening in their life. Lord,
• 2:15
Speaker 1: we pray that you would bring back the joy of
• 2:19
Speaker 1: their salvation, energy to serve you, and that they'd have
• 2:23
Speaker 1: a day today that is closer with you. Also, a
• 2:29
Speaker 1: person asking for prayer as they navigate a difficult season
• 2:33
Speaker 1: in their life. A husband passed away several years ago.
• 2:38
Speaker 1: Still difficult, though. Handling things, meeting with a lawyer. Lord,
• 2:42
Speaker 1: we just pray that you'd guide that meeting and help
• 2:46
Speaker 1: them to work through some debts and other issues that
• 2:49
Speaker 1: are just very complicated issues. for their stage in life. Lord,
• 2:53
Speaker 1: we just pray for wisdom and good counsel. Also, a
• 2:58
Speaker 1: person just says they need a miracle for their job
• 3:03
Speaker 1: provision as a first interview for a job in their field,
• 3:10
Speaker 1: hoping to get this. Lord, we pray that you would
• 3:13
Speaker 1: confirm their steps. This is the right fit for them,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: that you'd give them this job, and it would be
• 3:18
Speaker 1: a real answer to prayer. Another person praying for a
• 3:23
Speaker 1: job in an interview situation. Money has almost run out
• 3:27
Speaker 1: and they're just kind of desperate. Lord, we pray that
• 3:29
Speaker 1: you'd work this out and they would get the job
• 3:33
Speaker 1: that you have for them. And another person praying for
• 3:39
Speaker 1: a connection that might help them get what they say
• 3:41
Speaker 1: is a dream job. Been praying for for a long time,
• 3:45
Speaker 1: this long prayer request, long time prayer. We pray that
• 3:48
Speaker 1: would be answered and they'd get this job. And also,
• 3:53
Speaker 1: that prayer request was answered. A person praying for a
• 3:57
Speaker 1: job finally got one. Just pray that you'd solidify that
• 4:01
Speaker 1: relationship with that new employer, and it would be a
• 4:04
Speaker 1: good fit as he starts his first week of work.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: And we ask for all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.
