- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Vince on a Monday. Great
- 0:02Speaker 1: to have you with us. We have a mighty show
- 0:04Speaker 1: ahead for you. We're going to talk about diesel prices.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We talked on Friday about diesel, and then the president
- 0:09Speaker 1: pulled a rabbit out of his hat, and now we're
- 0:11Speaker 1: going to watch his diesel prices come down. Why is that? Well,
- 0:15Speaker 1: the president just negotiated a big deal with Europe. I'll
- 0:18Speaker 1: tell you all about it in just a moment. We'll
- 0:20Speaker 1: get into the details there. Also, this weekend, the president
- 0:25Speaker 1: of the United States goes out, once again, doesn't in
- 0:28Speaker 1: Incredible campaign stop. It has moments of urgency and moments
- 0:33Speaker 1: of comedy, hilarity. Really good as he was in Ohio.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Any of you in Ohio, did you see the president
- 0:38Speaker 1: of the United States? It was pretty good. I've got
- 0:40Speaker 1: some of the clips from that from this weekend. Also,
- 0:44Speaker 1: the left, it had some sort of big emotionally incontinent
- 0:48Speaker 1: rally in New York where they say that there's a problem.
- 0:51Speaker 1: You know what the problem is? Our election system is
- 0:53Speaker 1: vulnerable to rigging. The Democrats just said that. I'm sorry, what?
- 1:02Speaker 1: I've got the details on that and so much more
- 1:05Speaker 1: all ahead on this edition of Vince. I really do
- 1:07Speaker 1: hope you had a fantastic weekend. It's going to be
- 1:09Speaker 1: a mighty week, I promise. More ahead. But first, we
- 1:12Speaker 1: have to thank Helix for being our great sponsor today.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Fall is officially here, have you noticed? And there's something
- 1:19Speaker 1: about those first cooler nights that make staying home and
- 1:22Speaker 1: getting cozy sound pretty great. And if you're going to
- 1:24Speaker 1: spend more time in bed, you might as well make
- 1:26Speaker 1: sure you're sleeping on the right mattress. This is why
- 1:29Speaker 1: we love Helix. Since switching to Helix, we've noticed a
- 1:33Speaker 1: huge difference in how comfortable and rested we feel. Allison
- 1:37Speaker 1: loves it. I love the mattress. It's so much better.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Our old mattress just was not cutting it. And Helix
- 1:42Speaker 1: felt like an incredible upgrade because it is. What I
- 1:46Speaker 1: love is that Helix doesn't believe one mattress fits every person.
- 1:50Speaker 1: They offer more than 20 different models, and their two-minute
- 1:54Speaker 1: sleep quiz helps match you up with the mattress that
- 1:58Speaker 1: you need based on how you actually sleep. Plus, Helix
- 2:01Speaker 1: ships free in the United States, and you get a
- 2:04Speaker 1: 120-night sleep trial with seamless returns and exchanges so you
- 2:08Speaker 1: can really make sure it is right for you. So
- 2:11Speaker 1: are you ready? Upgrade your sleep. Go to helixsleep.com slash Vince.

- 2:33Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Well, the president, did you guys see this conversation about
- 2:37Speaker 1: diesel that was emanating apparently out of the White House?
- 2:39Speaker 1: There were a bunch of media reports in the last
- 2:41Speaker 1: few weeks that the president was contemplating an export ban
- 2:44Speaker 1: on diesel, that we wouldn't be able to export any
- 2:46Speaker 1: of the diesel that we drew and processed here in
- 2:49Speaker 1: the United States. And there were some concerns about this because, well,
- 2:54Speaker 1: is that really going to help gas prices? Won't that
- 2:56Speaker 1: create some more economic pandemonium? How is that going to
- 2:59Speaker 1: work out for us? Well, in the end, it turns
- 3:02Speaker 1: out that was leverage. That was leverage. And the president
- 3:06Speaker 1: of the United States used it to score very big.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Here's what we have now. Over the weekend, The president
- 3:15Speaker 1: got the G7, these are the seven big countries, mostly European,
- 3:20Speaker 1: Japan's included as well, to release diesel stocks as the
- 3:25Speaker 1: wars in Europe and the Middle East constrain fuel supplies.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's the CNBC headline. This is a very big deal
- 3:31Speaker 1: for energy. The group of seven nations agreed Friday to
- 3:35Speaker 1: release 100 million barrels of reserves to address surging diesel
- 3:40Speaker 1: fuel prices after the Trump administration pushed Europe to deploy
- 3:43Speaker 1: their stocks. So in other words, they're sitting on massive
- 3:46Speaker 1: reserves of diesel for an emergency situation. Guess what this
- 3:50Speaker 1: situation is? An emergency situation. It's critical to bring down
- 3:54Speaker 1: the cost of energy. The G7 leader said the deployment
- 3:57Speaker 1: will begin immediately and now continue over four months with
- 4:00Speaker 1: a front-loaded, substantial diesel release within the next 20 days.
- 4:06Speaker 1: all coordinated through the International Energy Agency. We will convene
- 4:09Speaker 1: in the context of the IEA in the coming days
- 4:11Speaker 1: to discuss the possibility of additional diesel releases as necessary,
- 4:15Speaker 1: the leaders all said in a joint statement.
- 4:17Speaker 3: U.S.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Diesel prices hit record highs in September. They remained elevated
- 4:21Speaker 1: on Friday. That was at $ 6. 37 per gallon on average.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You truckers know what the cost to fill up a
- 4:28Speaker 1: tank is. You have some truckers saying it's over $ 1, 000.
- 4:32Speaker 1: to fill up the tank just to move that truck.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It's not going to work. It's not going to work.
- 4:37Speaker 1: These have to come down quickly. The G7 members, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan,
- 4:44Speaker 1: the United Kingdom, and the United States. France currently holds
- 4:47Speaker 1: the group's presidency. The European Union also participates in its meetings.
- 4:52Speaker 1: So how did this happen? Well, the president talked about
- 4:56Speaker 1: this this weekend. He said, I asked for it. Europe
- 4:59Speaker 1: has a lot of diesel, and now's the time. Cut one.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Here's the president.
- 5:02Speaker 2: How did that.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Happen, your diesel deal with Europe today?
- 5:06Speaker 5: Europe has a lot of diesel, and they're going to
- 5:09Speaker 5: be making a major world contribution, and so are we.
- 5:14Speaker 5: And we're not going to be doing the export ban.
- 5:17Speaker 5: We're going to be doing what we're supposed to do.
- 5:20Speaker 3: But I did ask them, and we're going to have
- 5:23Speaker 3: a lot of oil.
- 5:23Speaker 5: Very shortly, as soon as Iran.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Ends, which won't be long, not going to be long,
- 5:28Speaker 3: You're going to have oil go down to the price
- 5:31Speaker 3: it was before, maybe even lower than I got it.
- 5:34Speaker 5: At the beginning.
- 5:36Speaker 1: We're not going to do the export ban. And did
- 5:38Speaker 1: you notice that he talked about that at the same
- 5:39Speaker 1: time as he says all of these diesel reserves are
- 5:42Speaker 1: about to be released? That's because it was leveraged, ladies
- 5:46Speaker 1: and gentlemen. It was the art of the deal. And
- 5:49Speaker 1: I've got a headline here for you from Politico this weekend.
- 5:52Speaker 1: that European leaders are furious that President Trump backed them
- 5:57Speaker 1: into a corner. They're calling it blackmail.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Blackmail.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Europe fumes against White House demand for more diesel. The
- 6:05Speaker 1: Trump administration's full-court pressure campaign on Europe to release diesel
- 6:08Speaker 1: supplies or face a U.S. export ban heading into the
- 6:11Speaker 1: winter has split and angered European leaders, entangled oil companies,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and raised private charges of blackmail. It also appears to
- 6:19Speaker 1: have worked. Senior White House officials led a pressure campaign
- 6:23Speaker 1: on European governments to open the spigot on their strategic reserves,
- 6:27Speaker 1: according to 10 oil industry executives and European government officials
- 6:31Speaker 1: who were granted anonymity to describe the negotiations. Their tactics
- 6:35Speaker 1: ultimately led to the G7 countries announcing they are releasing
- 6:39Speaker 1: 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil from their
- 6:43Speaker 1: strategic reserves over the next four years.
- 6:47Speaker 7: Months.
- 6:47Speaker 1: One European diplomat characterized the White House's demands for a
- 6:51Speaker 1: release against the threat of a U.S. export ban explicitly
- 6:56Speaker 1: as blackmail. You're damn right it is. An official briefed
- 7:01Speaker 1: on a call between EU energy officials early Friday told Politico.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Isn't that funny? You can call it whatever you want.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You can call it whatever you want. Oh, no, we
- 7:11Speaker 1: felt pressured. We felt threatened.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Look, What has the president said throughout this? We could
- 7:17Speaker 1: have done this more easily. You know, the president had
- 7:20Speaker 1: been asking for European help. He'd been asking for help
- 7:23Speaker 1: from NATO, from G7 countries for handling the Strait of Hormuz.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And he's received none, very little, very little help from
- 7:33Speaker 1: from foreign countries. A lot of this has been borne
- 7:35Speaker 1: just by the American military. And the president's been very
- 7:38Speaker 1: frustrated by this. So you could have helped resolve this
- 7:41Speaker 1: early on. And so here we are now dealing with
- 7:44Speaker 1: these higher energy prices. And that's for a variety of reasons,
- 7:47Speaker 1: of course. We talk about the higher oil prices as
- 7:49Speaker 1: a result of the Strait of Hormuz. I'll get to
- 7:50Speaker 1: that in a moment. But also the higher diesel prices
- 7:53Speaker 1: are more directly related to Russia and Ukraine. But again, regardless,
- 7:59Speaker 1: so you're not going to come voluntarily to help us? Okay, fine.
- 8:03Speaker 1: We'll compel you. So President Trump compelled them. And now...
- 8:07Speaker 1: Instead of an oil export ban, a diesel export ban
- 8:10Speaker 1: that the president was reportedly contemplating, that was used as
- 8:14Speaker 1: leverage to open up the spigot on 100 million barrels
- 8:19Speaker 1: of oil now entering the global market. That is the
- 8:23Speaker 1: art of the deal. Isn't that amazing? It's amazing. I
- 8:27Speaker 1: was getting text messages from people who were concerned about
- 8:29Speaker 1: the diesel export ban. They're like, this won't be good.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I don't think this is good. Turns out the president
- 8:34Speaker 1: was using it as leverage all along. He even said
- 8:37Speaker 1: at one point it wasn't really on the table. It
- 8:40Speaker 1: was on the table enough to scare Europe, but not
- 8:42Speaker 1: really on the table. Pretty great. Here's Energy Secretary Chris
- 8:46Speaker 1: Wright saying this is going to drive diesel prices down globally,
- 8:48Speaker 1: which is big news. Watch this. Cut to.
- 8:51Speaker 5: It's a big deal.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's a big deal.
- 8:53Speaker 7: Europe has very large diesel stores. They don't refine enough
- 8:58Speaker 7: diesel to supply their own economy, so naturally they store
- 9:01Speaker 7: a lot of diesel. They're very keen to see American
- 9:05Speaker 7: diesel continue to flow to Europe. They've got a lot
- 9:07Speaker 7: of diesel in stores. Why not release some of that?
- 9:10Speaker 7: This is what you store diesel for. When all the
- 9:13Speaker 7: Russian exports of diesel are shut down, when the Chinese
- 9:16Speaker 7: have said we're not going to deliver any more diesel
- 9:19Speaker 7: and you still have a reduction of diesel flows coming
- 9:21Speaker 7: out of the Gulf. But we're restoring those. But that
- 9:24Speaker 7: takes time. This is just common sense. This lowers diesel prices,
- 9:27Speaker 7: not just in the United States. but it lowers them
- 9:29Speaker 7: in Europe and around the world. But it will drive
- 9:32Speaker 7: diesel prices down as those releases come. It'll drive diesel
- 9:35Speaker 7: down through the winter in the United States and around
- 9:37Speaker 7: the world.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And by then, we'll be in another place.
- 9:40Speaker 7: We'll have more refining capacity online. I suspect we'll continue
- 9:44Speaker 7: to see diesel decline as we go into next spring
- 9:47Speaker 7: as well.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You know, here's one of the things that you have
- 9:50Speaker 1: to pay attention to. The Iranian regime does not want
- 9:53Speaker 1: these prices to come down. They want them to stay high.
- 9:55Speaker 1: because they're hoping that Donald Trump and his supporters, i.e.
- 10:00Speaker 1: you and me, suffer massive defeats in the midterms. They
- 10:05Speaker 1: want Republicans to lose control of the House and the Senate.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They want Democrats to get the gavels inside of Congress
- 10:13Speaker 1: so that they can menace the president of the United States.
- 10:16Speaker 1: The Democrats in the Iranian regime share the same goal,
- 10:20Speaker 1: which is to disempower the American people, to disempower the
- 10:23Speaker 1: president of the United States, and grind the affairs of
- 10:27Speaker 1: our country to a halt. They do share that goal,
- 10:30Speaker 1: which is why the IRGC just came out with a
- 10:32Speaker 1: full-throated endorsement of the Democrats in the midterms. You see
- 10:37Speaker 1: how this is playing? So with under a month to
- 10:40Speaker 1: go before the midterms, the president wielded extraordinary leverage over
- 10:45Speaker 1: the rest of planet Earth and got these guys to
- 10:48Speaker 1: release 100 million barrels of diesel, of oil, much of
- 10:51Speaker 1: it is diesel, to bring down those diesel prices. That
- 10:54Speaker 1: is huge. That is huge. And the president has continued
- 10:57Speaker 1: to outmaneuver the Iranians, and by extension, the Democrats. In fact,
- 11:03Speaker 1: oil is now moving, it has been moving through the
- 11:06Speaker 1: Strait of Hormuz. And Iran is really ticked off about
- 11:09Speaker 1: this because they want this to be the means by
- 11:11Speaker 1: which Democrats get power. That's what Iran wants. And here's
- 11:14Speaker 1: Chris Wright explaining that actually we're moving a tremendous amount
- 11:18Speaker 1: of oil through the Strait and through other means now,
- 11:20Speaker 1: especially pipelines. Watch this. Cut three.
- 11:23Speaker 7: We've got increasing supplies coming out of this trade of Hormuz,
- 11:26Speaker 7: and they've continued to rise over the last months, over
- 11:30Speaker 7: the last recent weeks.
- 11:31Speaker 5: We've got U.S.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Gasoline production today at record high. We have demand for
- 11:36Speaker 7: gasoline as we come out of the summer driving season
- 11:38Speaker 7: starting to go down. Similar stories with diesel. Diesel's mostly
- 11:43Speaker 7: been affected by the Russia-Ukraine war and also by China's
- 11:46Speaker 7: decision not to export diesel or gasoline into the marketplace.
- 11:51Speaker 7: And of course, we're living with two refineries that were
- 11:54Speaker 7: recently closed, large refineries in California that Gavin Newsom forced
- 11:58Speaker 7: the closure of. And frankly, 15 years of Democrat policies
- 12:02Speaker 7: that have been energy subtraction, trying to close coal plants,
- 12:06Speaker 7: close refineries and shrink our capacity, which means when you
- 12:09Speaker 7: get in crisis, we're just less resilient than we should be.
- 12:13Speaker 7: But you still think that in the next four weeks,
- 12:16Speaker 7: prices are going to go down?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 12:18Speaker 7: Diesel prices have been going down. Gasoline prices have been
- 12:21Speaker 7: going down. I expect that to continue.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Absolutely. They come down those next four weeks. You know
- 12:27Speaker 1: why they're critical? The midterms, the midterms, the midterms are
- 12:29Speaker 1: now less than four weeks away. This is huge. And
- 12:33Speaker 1: so here we are. It's October 5th. And you've got
- 12:37Speaker 1: the Trump administration bringing energy prices down at a critical
- 12:40Speaker 1: time when, of course, voters care so much about that issue,
- 12:43Speaker 1: appropriately so. Now, having said that, Iran is trying to
- 12:48Speaker 1: do everything it can to upend any chance that we
- 12:51Speaker 1: have of bringing energy prices down and of President Trump
- 12:54Speaker 1: keeping the House and the Senate in the hands of
- 12:56Speaker 1: the Republican Party. The Iranians continue to try and strike
- 13:00Speaker 1: ships that are transiting the Strait of Hormuz under the
- 13:03Speaker 1: protection of the United States Navy, There have been a
- 13:07Speaker 1: lot of creative efforts to get oil through and around
- 13:10Speaker 1: the Strait, including by not using the big tankers, but
- 13:14Speaker 1: instead by shuttling it on smaller boats from one side
- 13:17Speaker 1: to the other, and through the use of pipelines. Pipeline
- 13:20Speaker 1: use has grown a lot. In fact, let me show
- 13:25Speaker 1: you a report here. This comes to us from oilprice.com,
- 13:30Speaker 1: which is fascinating, just a good piece of data on
- 13:34Speaker 1: all of this. Before the war, 83% of the region's crude,
- 13:40Speaker 1: 83% of that entire region's crude crossed through the Strait
- 13:42Speaker 1: of Hormuz. In September, 40% now bypasses the Strait entirely
- 13:50Speaker 1: with oil instead moving through pipelines and other routes via
- 13:54Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. About 60% of
- 13:59Speaker 1: the oil now goes through the Strait physically. That's 9.9
- 14:04Speaker 1: million barrels per day. So you see what's happening is,
- 14:07Speaker 1: as the war has gone on, we have figured out
- 14:10Speaker 1: ways to reroute the oil away from the Strait to
- 14:14Speaker 1: make it so that the terror regime cannot disrupt the
- 14:18Speaker 1: flow of this energy anyway. That's the plan. One of
- 14:22Speaker 1: the firms that tracks all of this said that more
- 14:23Speaker 1: than 70% of the crew that crossed the Strait in August,
- 14:27Speaker 1: the most recent month available, actually changed tankers offshore in
- 14:31Speaker 1: the Gulf of Oman. highlighting how far the current system
- 14:34Speaker 1: is from normal commercial shipping. For Iran, the recovery is
- 14:38Speaker 1: a sign that its ability to disrupt the waterway has
- 14:40Speaker 1: been significantly degraded. Significantly degraded. So Iran is losing leverage.
- 14:49Speaker 1: That's what's happening right now. In fact, they can't move
- 14:53Speaker 1: a drop. Here is Scott Besson this weekend, the Treasury Secretary, saying,
- 14:57Speaker 1: for the first time ever, Iran can't move any oil
- 14:59Speaker 1: on the water. Watch this. Cut four.
- 15:03Speaker 8: Isolating them economically like it's never happened before. Right now,
- 15:07Speaker 8: the score turns the barrels out of the street. U.S.,
- 15:11Speaker 8: about $ 1. 1 billion, Iran's zero. For the first time in history,
- 15:17Speaker 8: since they started pumping oil, they will have no oil
- 15:21Speaker 8: on the water this week. They will have no revenues.
- 15:26Speaker 9: None.
- 15:27Speaker 1: None whatsoever. And what does that do to their economy?
- 15:30Speaker 1: They're in an outright chokehold. right now. You ready for
- 15:34Speaker 1: this headline? Check this out from the New York Times
- 15:36Speaker 1: this weekend. Iran's top security official warns of dire economic crisis. Iran,
- 15:43Speaker 1: this didn't have to happen. It didn't have to happen
- 15:46Speaker 1: this way. You idiots. Iran's national security advisor has warned
- 15:51Speaker 1: that the rapidly deteriorating economy has plunged the country into
- 15:55Speaker 1: one of the most difficult periods in its history. Guy's
- 15:58Speaker 1: name is Mohsen Rezaei. Iran's top security official, he made
- 16:02Speaker 1: this rare omission on Saturday at a high-level government meeting
- 16:05Speaker 1: about how to stabilize the economy after more than seven
- 16:08Speaker 1: months of war. Iran's currency, the rial, has plummeted since
- 16:13Speaker 1: the United States and Israel launched the war on Iran
- 16:15Speaker 1: in February. The decline has accelerated sharply in recent weeks
- 16:20Speaker 1: since the United States ratcheted up sanctions and enforced its
- 16:25Speaker 1: naval blockade. This has now made imports more expensive and
- 16:28Speaker 1: deepened a long-standing cost of living crisis that sparked nationwide
- 16:33Speaker 1: protests last December that the security forces crushed with deadly force.
- 16:38Speaker 1: That's when they were killing their own people. Analysts say
- 16:42Speaker 1: the U.S. naval blockade has also largely prevented Iran from
- 16:45Speaker 1: exporting oil, depriving the country of its main source of
- 16:50Speaker 1: revenue and causing a fuel crisis. A guy called Mohsen Paknejad,
- 16:56Speaker 1: the oil minister, who said in July that Iran would
- 16:59Speaker 1: continue exporting oil despite U.S. sanctions, just resigned yesterday, Sunday.
- 17:06Speaker 1: The Iranian oil minister has resigned his post. Syed Mehdi Tabatabaye,
- 17:15Speaker 1: a spokesman for the president, Massoud Pazeshkian, said on social
- 17:19Speaker 1: media that another guy, Hamid Bovard, the managing director of
- 17:22Speaker 1: Iran's national oil company, would be Mr. Pekhnajad's interim replacement.
- 17:29Speaker 1: And finally, they say in recent days, they've had government
- 17:32Speaker 1: and private sector employees in Iran, including nurses and teachers,
- 17:36Speaker 1: are now taking to social media to say they've been
- 17:38Speaker 1: quitting their jobs because their salaries no longer support them.
- 17:43Speaker 1: In other words, the money is irrelevant. Everything's so expensive.
- 17:47Speaker 1: It doesn't even matter if they're getting a paycheck. They
- 17:49Speaker 1: can't afford anything. Iranian local media has reported that retired
- 17:53Speaker 1: government employees have held protests in the past few weeks
- 17:56Speaker 1: because they said they're not receiving their full pensions. Iran
- 18:01Speaker 1: in crisis mode. They're firing officials. Nobody has money. The
- 18:06Speaker 1: people who work inside of Iran are quitting their jobs
- 18:09Speaker 1: because the money doesn't travel. This is chaos. This is
- 18:13Speaker 1: chaos inside of Iran. And so Iran is getting increasingly desperate.
- 18:18Speaker 1: They're getting desperate. And there is a way out of this.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'm telling you, we keep talking about this. The most
- 18:22Speaker 1: obvious thing is the president, more so than any other president,
- 18:26Speaker 1: has had this all of the above strategy. Everything is
- 18:29Speaker 1: on the table, whether it's striking Iranian leadership or offering
- 18:33Speaker 1: a deal, offering an olive branch and saying, let's make
- 18:36Speaker 1: a deal together so you can have a great future.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That offer is still out there. The president really wants
- 18:41Speaker 1: them to do the right thing. But he has a
- 18:43Speaker 1: decision to make. He just said it this weekend. Once again,
- 18:45Speaker 1: he says, I've got a big decision to make. We're
- 18:47Speaker 1: going to do this the easy way or the hard way.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Which one is it going to be? Cut five. Here's
- 18:52Speaker 1: the president.
- 18:53Speaker 3: We have a decision that I'll make about Iran.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Iran's been decimated.
- 18:59Speaker 3: So the only question is, it'll either be the easy
- 19:02Speaker 3: way or the hard way.
- 19:04Speaker 5: We'll have it the easy way or the hard way.
- 19:06Speaker 1: That's it. The easy way or the hard way. Big
- 19:10Speaker 1: decision to make. You heard him in an earlier clip
- 19:12Speaker 1: we just played. He said this is going to be
- 19:14Speaker 1: over very, very soon. And these oil prices are going
- 19:16Speaker 1: to come down dramatically. So this continues to be, this
- 19:20Speaker 1: thing continues to loom large. But we got a huge
- 19:23Speaker 1: number of news stories this weekend that now we've got
- 19:26Speaker 1: a lot more energy available, 100 million new barrels of
- 19:28Speaker 1: oil in play now, thanks to the G7, thanks to
- 19:32Speaker 1: the pressure the president put on them. Iran is suffering
- 19:35Speaker 1: at levels that they've never suffered at economically. And they're
- 19:39Speaker 1: trying to figure out how do we navigate.
- 19:40Speaker 10: Out of this.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Again, the answer is super easy. Give the president a call.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Work out a deal. That's the best way out. That's
- 19:48Speaker 1: the easy way. You don't want to see the hard way.
- 19:50Speaker 1: you don't want to see the hard way so just
- 19:52Speaker 1: choose the easy way Iran come on come to your
- 19:54Speaker 1: senses all right we've got a lot more to get
- 19:56Speaker 1: to we have a lot more to get to the
- 19:57Speaker 1: president of the United States campaigning in Ohio this weekend
- 20:01Speaker 1: at a rally a very energetic rally it was awesome
- 20:05Speaker 1: And the left, meanwhile, they were holding a rally of
- 20:07Speaker 1: their own, and it was, well, it was nuts. It
- 20:10Speaker 1: was totally nuts. I've got that and so much more

- 21:26Speaker 1: Appreciate you being with us as always and supporting the program.
- 21:29Speaker 1: All right, so the president rallies in Ohio this weekend.
- 21:33Speaker 1: He had a lot to talk about. He had a
- 21:35Speaker 1: lot to talk about. He talked about how far we've come,
- 21:39Speaker 1: which was amazing. Just kind of all of the adversity
- 21:43Speaker 1: that we've all overcome, and him in particular, the adversity
- 21:45Speaker 1: he's overcome, including that he was shot in the head
- 21:48Speaker 1: on a campaign stage in Butler, Pennsylvania. And he said,
- 21:52Speaker 1: we didn't come all this way to lose to the commies.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Cut six, the president of the United States, Washington.
- 21:57Speaker 3: They've tried to smear us, slander us, persecute us, demoralize us.
- 22:02Speaker 5: They've attacked me. They've impeached me.
- 22:05Speaker 3: They've arrested me, and they even tried to kill me,
- 22:09Speaker 3: I guess. But with you at my side, we have always.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Prevailed and prevailed by a lot and.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Got record-setting votes and record-setting victories.
- 22:26Speaker 5: We've won every battle. We've defeated every hoax. We've overcome
- 22:31Speaker 5: every threat. And now we are on the.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Cusp of beating the communists, socialists, radicalized lunatics, and villains
- 22:39Speaker 3: once and for all. We're going to put them down
- 22:41Speaker 3: once and for all. Because the United States of America
- 22:51Speaker 3: will never be a communist country. We did not come
- 22:58Speaker 3: all this way and defeat all of those dangers only
- 23:02Speaker 3: to watch our country be taken over.
- 23:04Speaker 5: By sick, sick people.
- 23:06Speaker 3: They're sick people. There's something wrong with these people.
- 23:09Speaker 1: America will never be a communist country.
- 23:12Speaker 5: True.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It shouldn't be. So long as we fight for it.
- 23:15Speaker 1: You know, the president is running those ads apparently during
- 23:18Speaker 1: football games. He's been running these government paid for ads,
- 23:22Speaker 1: taxpayer paid for. As they say, America will never be
- 23:25Speaker 1: a communist country. And it's driving the left absolutely crazy
- 23:28Speaker 1: because they start screeching. They say, you're not allowed to
- 23:29Speaker 1: run campaign ads using taxpayer dollars. I saw it this weekend.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You have all these legacy media figures complaining about this. Oh,
- 23:37Speaker 1: he's using taxpayer dollars to pay for campaign ads. Okay,
- 23:39Speaker 1: hold on a second. How is saying that America will
- 23:43Speaker 1: never be a communist country a campaign ad? Please explain
- 23:46Speaker 1: it to me.
- 23:47Speaker 5: Explain.
- 23:48Speaker 1: What do you mean by that? If it's a campaign ad,
- 23:51Speaker 1: it must mean that one of the major political parties
- 23:54Speaker 1: is being overtaken by communism. Which one could that possibly be?
- 23:58Speaker 1: You know the answer to that question. It's Democrats. Meanwhile,
- 24:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump is not running for anything. He's campaigning on
- 24:04Speaker 1: behalf of other Republicans who are running in the midterms,
- 24:07Speaker 1: but he's not a candidate. So an ad with his
- 24:09Speaker 1: face in it saying America will never be a communist country,
- 24:13Speaker 1: it's on its face, not a campaign spot. But the
- 24:18Speaker 1: left rages anyway. They rage about it.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Why?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Because they know. They know. Their party is being overtaken
- 24:24Speaker 1: by commies. And many of them are perfectly comfortable with that.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Most Americans are not. Most Americans are not. And all
- 24:32Speaker 1: of those Americans need to show up and vote in November.
- 24:35Speaker 1: You have to. You have to. Now, the president talking
- 24:40Speaker 1: in Ohio, he said, look, here's what's going to happen.
- 24:41Speaker 1: If Democrats do get control of everything again, pretty obvious
- 24:45Speaker 1: what they're going to do to the country. and opening
- 24:48Speaker 1: the borders, that'll be probably priority one. Here he is,
- 24:52Speaker 1: cut seven, watch.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Last time, the radical Democrats had power. They gave us
- 24:58Speaker 3: the worst inflation in American history, the highest energy prices
- 25:03Speaker 3: in American history, the worst trade deficit in American history.
- 25:07Speaker 3: They allowed 25 million people to pour across our borders
- 25:11Speaker 3: from all over the world, from prisons, from mental institutions.
- 25:16Speaker 5: Drug dealers and if they win the midterms they.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Will do it again they're going to do it all
- 25:22Speaker 3: again the proud people of ohio will not let that happen.
- 25:31Speaker 1: They will not let that happen they will not let
- 25:34Speaker 1: that happen now on this point well is that true
- 25:36Speaker 1: would democrats open the borders again haven't they learned their
- 25:39Speaker 1: lesson they would they're not going to hand out american
- 25:42Speaker 1: citizenship like it's candy they're not going to import tons
- 25:44Speaker 1: of new voters are they Well, I don't know. Let's
- 25:47Speaker 1: turn to Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders this very weekend announced
- 25:52Speaker 1: that it's time for amnesty. It's time to allow people
- 25:55Speaker 1: to break our laws. It's time to protect the invaders
- 25:59Speaker 1: who poured into our country. Bernie Sanders said that. Let's see. Josh,
- 26:04Speaker 1: you have that clip, Bernie Sanders calling for mass amnesty?
- 26:13Speaker 11: Good.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Let's see it. Would you mind?
- 26:17Speaker 7: Thanks, brother.
- 26:20Speaker 12: And what we have got to do is move this
- 26:24Speaker 12: country as soon as possible to comprehensive immigration reform and
- 26:29Speaker 12: a path toward citizenship.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Says Bernie. Calling for amnesty. It's time for amnesty. As
- 26:39Speaker 1: soon as possible. As soon as possible. We need amnesty.
- 26:44Speaker 1: A pathway to citizenship. That's Bernie. That's not, by the way,
- 26:48Speaker 1: what Bernie used to sound like. Just in case you're wondering,
- 26:52Speaker 1: you probably assume he's always taken the single most radical
- 26:54Speaker 1: position on this subject. He didn't always. Actually, this is
- 26:57Speaker 1: one of the rare things where he had the correct
- 26:59Speaker 1: opinion a while ago. Here's Bernie Sanders back in 2015
- 27:03Speaker 1: in an infamous clip where he said, no, open borders? No,
- 27:08Speaker 1: that's a Koch brothers thing. I would never be for
- 27:10Speaker 1: open borders.
- 27:11Speaker 7: Watch.
- 27:13Speaker 13: In what you said about being a democratic socialist is
- 27:16Speaker 13: a more international view. But I think if you take
- 27:18Speaker 13: global poverty that seriously, it leads you to conclusions that
- 27:23Speaker 13: in the U.S. are considered out of political bounds. Things
- 27:26Speaker 13: like sharply raising the level of immigration we permit, even
- 27:30Speaker 13: up to a level of open.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Borders, about sharply increasing the amount of foreign aid. Open borders?
- 27:35Speaker 9: That's a Koch Brothers proposal. Really?
- 27:37Speaker 11: Of course.
- 27:38Speaker 9: I mean, that's a right-wing proposal. which says essentially there
- 27:42Speaker 9: is no United States.
- 27:43Speaker 13: But it would make a lot of global poor richer,
- 27:45Speaker 13: wouldn't it?
- 27:46Speaker 9: And it would make everybody in America poor. Then you're
- 27:48Speaker 9: doing away with the concept of a nation state. And
- 27:51Speaker 9: I don't think there's any country in the world which
- 27:54Speaker 9: believes in that. If you believe in a nation state
- 27:59Speaker 9: or in a country called the United States or UK
- 28:01Speaker 9: or Denmark or any other country, you have an obligation,
- 28:05Speaker 9: in my view, to do everything we can to help
- 28:07Speaker 9: poor people. What right wing people in this country would
- 28:10Speaker 9: love is an open border policy. Bring in all kinds
- 28:12Speaker 9: of people who work for two or three dollars an hour.
- 28:14Speaker 9: That would be great for them. I don't believe in that.
- 28:16Speaker 9: I think we have to raise wages in this country.
- 28:18Speaker 9: I think we have to do everything that we can
- 28:20Speaker 9: to create the millions of jobs. You know what youth
- 28:23Speaker 9: unemployment in the United States of America today? If you're white,
- 28:26Speaker 9: a white kid, high school graduate, 33 percent. A Hispanic,
- 28:29Speaker 9: 36 percent. African-American, 51 percent. You think we should open
- 28:33Speaker 9: the borders and bring in a lot of low wage workers?
- 28:35Speaker 9: What do you think? Maybe we should try to get
- 28:37Speaker 9: jobs for those kids. So I think from a moral responsibility,
- 28:40Speaker 9: we've got to work with the rest of the industrialized
- 28:42Speaker 9: world to address the problems of international poverty. But you
- 28:47Speaker 9: don't do that by making people in this country even poorer.
- 28:51Speaker 5: What? Where the hell is that clip? Where's that Bernie?
- 28:55Speaker 1: That Bernie, where's that guy go? He doesn't talk like
- 28:58Speaker 1: that anymore.
- 28:59Speaker 7: What?
- 29:00Speaker 1: I was never for that. I'm for amnesty. I'm always
- 29:02Speaker 1: for amnesty. He's insane. The guy's insane. But that was true.
- 29:08Speaker 1: That was true, what he said. Global poverty. How does
- 29:14Speaker 1: it help poverty by making Americans poorer? Explain that to me.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And he's talking to a lefty there. He's two lefties
- 29:21Speaker 1: talking to each other. And he's like, no, I'm not
- 29:23Speaker 1: opening the borders. That's insane. How does that help American workers?
- 29:27Speaker 12: And what we have got to do is move this
- 29:31Speaker 12: country as soon as possible to comprehensive immigration reform and
- 29:35Speaker 12: a path toward citizenship.
- 29:40Speaker 10: Amazing.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Just amazing. So the president is right. The second they
- 29:44Speaker 1: get power back, they're going to open the borders. Even
- 29:46Speaker 1: the Democrats within their party, guys like Bernie. Who, I know,
- 29:50Speaker 1: he's a Democrat socialist. They call him an independent or whatever.
- 29:52Speaker 1: He caucuses with the Democrats. He's a Democrat. The guy,
- 29:55Speaker 1: even him, at one point, you heard him. He was Mr.
- 29:58Speaker 1: We need borders. We need to protect American workers.
- 30:01Speaker 7: Not anymore.
- 30:02Speaker 1: He was one of the moderate elements of the party.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy? Bernie was the moderate?
- 30:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Not anymore. No, they're all in on the open border stuff.
- 30:10Speaker 7: All in. All in.
- 30:13Speaker 1: All right. More in a moment. I've got I've got
- 30:14Speaker 1: some more from the president's big Ohio rally. You guys
- 30:17Speaker 1: see John Gruden, Coach Gruden firing up the base, telling
- 30:20Speaker 1: people to get out and vote. I think every election
- 30:25Speaker 1: needs a fired up football coach telling people to get
- 30:28Speaker 1: their asses to the polls. I love this. I've got
- 30:31Speaker 1: that for you in just a moment coming up on
- 30:33Speaker 1: this edition of this. Before we get there, though, I
- 30:36Speaker 1: want to thank Bone Charge for being a great sponsor
- 30:37Speaker 1: of our show today. The Bone Charge Infrared Sauna Blanket,
- 30:39Speaker 1: that's what I have. Allison's got the Bone Charge Red
- 30:41Speaker 1: Light Face Mask, and we love these products ever since
- 30:44Speaker 1: they sent them to us. Can't recommend them enough. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: first started that sauna blanket because it's great. It helps
- 30:50Speaker 1: with muscle recovery, detoxification. It's a total game changer, very
- 30:54Speaker 1: easy to use. Just wrap myself up, let the infrared
- 30:56Speaker 1: heat work its magic. It's created a massive difference in
- 30:59Speaker 1: how relaxed and rejuvenated I feel afterward. My wife loves
- 31:03Speaker 1: her red light face mask. She uses it to improve
- 31:06Speaker 1: skin texture. It reduces inflammation. She has seen fantastic results.
- 31:10Speaker 1: It's like having a mini spa treatment right at home. Also,
- 31:12Speaker 1: it holds this charge forever. She just puts it on
- 31:15Speaker 1: each day and it works great. Red light therapy is
- 31:17Speaker 1: the real deal. If you're thinking about trying these products out,

- 31:43Speaker 1: each morning and you say to yourself, what am I
- 31:45Speaker 1: going to consume first? You should think, maybe it should
- 31:48Speaker 1: be blackout coffee. Blackout coffee is so good. And I
- 31:52Speaker 1: drink it every morning. It's a small American company. They're
- 31:55Speaker 1: built by people who work hard, believe in this country,
- 31:57Speaker 1: share our values and happen to make some seriously good coffee.
- 32:02Speaker 1: And every morning when I pour that first cup, I
- 32:04Speaker 1: know precisely what I'm getting. It's strong, smooth coffee. It's
- 32:08Speaker 1: never bitter. It's fresh, roasted, packed with flavor and delivered
- 32:11Speaker 1: right to my door. And honestly, I'd much rather have
- 32:14Speaker 1: an incredible cup of coffee that I make at home
- 32:16Speaker 1: rather than going somewhere else and paying crazy amounts of
- 32:20Speaker 1: money for them just to dump a bunch of other
- 32:22Speaker 1: stuff into it to mask the flavor of the coffee.
- 32:24Speaker 1: You don't need that. Great coffee doesn't need that. You
- 32:26Speaker 1: don't need a bunch of sugar, hundreds of extra calories.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It should taste great on its own. Blackout Coffee keeps
- 32:31Speaker 1: it simple. Great coffee, great people, an American company doing
- 32:34Speaker 1: things the right way. If you haven't tried it yet,
- 32:37Speaker 1: now is the time. Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash Vince. Use
- 32:41Speaker 1: the code Vince for 20% off your first order. That's blackoutcoffee.com
- 32:45Speaker 1: slash Vince. Try Blackout Coffee. Start your morning with something
- 32:48Speaker 1: you can feel very good about. Thank you, Blackout, for
- 32:52Speaker 1: supporting the show and for caffeinating me each day. Appreciate
- 32:55Speaker 1: you for that. All right. So at this rally, a
- 32:59Speaker 1: lot of good moments at the rally. I'll get to
- 33:01Speaker 1: John Gruden in a moment. President Trump talked about his
- 33:04Speaker 1: aspirin regimen this weekend. You ever notice these Trump rallies?
- 33:08Speaker 1: It's the weave.
- 33:09Speaker 14: That's what it is.
- 33:10Speaker 7: It's the weave.
- 33:10Speaker 1: He goes off in some other trajectory. and talks about aspirin,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and then he works his way back towards why you
- 33:16Speaker 1: should vote to stop the commies. Here's the president saying
- 33:19Speaker 1: that the docs at the White House apparently keep telling
- 33:22Speaker 1: him he's got to start consuming the smaller aspirin. He's like,
- 33:25Speaker 1: I don't think so. I've been doing this for 35 years.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 33:28Speaker 5: And just yesterday, Bayer... I love Bayer aspirin. I take
- 33:32Speaker 5: an aspirin a day. I don't know if it works,
- 33:34Speaker 5: but psychologically, I need it. It thins the hell out
- 33:39Speaker 5: of your blood, I guess. I don't know if it
- 33:42Speaker 5: works or not, but I've been doing it for a
- 33:44Speaker 5: long time. And here I am, making speeches.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Bear.
- 33:51Speaker 5: And I like bear aspirin, the little yellow. And I
- 33:55Speaker 5: take the big one. You know, they want me to
- 33:57Speaker 5: go down to the 80. I take the 386. I
- 33:59Speaker 5: don't know what the hell it is. It's a monster.
- 34:03Speaker 5: They said, sir, you don't need that. I said, do
- 34:06Speaker 5: me a favor. I've been doing okay for 35 years.
- 34:08Speaker 12: Leave me alone.
- 34:10Speaker 5: I'll switch to the little tiny one. You know, it's tiny.
- 34:13Speaker 5: It doesn't look right, you know.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I'll switch to that little tiny thing, and then something
- 34:18Speaker 3: bad will happen. I'll say, you son of a bitch, doctor. No,
- 34:22Speaker 3: I keep taking the big one. They say, sir, you
- 34:24Speaker 3: don't need that.
- 34:25Speaker 5: You don't need it.
- 34:26Speaker 9: Thank you, doctor.
- 34:27Speaker 3: I appreciate it.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Then I order new, a whole brand-new stack of big ones.
- 34:32Speaker 5: One of the few things I take is a bare aspirin.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Can you believe it?
- 34:36Speaker 3: So I say it only because I like them because
- 34:37Speaker 3: they moved in. to Ohio announcing they are investing $ 2. 2
- 34:42Speaker 3: billion to open a massive pharmaceutical manufacturing campus right near Columbus, Ohio.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I've been doing this for 35 years. I'm not changing now. Oh,
- 34:55Speaker 1: he's funny.
- 34:56Speaker 5: I love it.
- 34:57Speaker 1: He weaves through just so you can tell you all
- 34:58Speaker 1: about Bayer building a new plant in Ohio. It's hysterical. Really,
- 35:02Speaker 1: really good stuff. But that's funny. That's really funny. That
- 35:06Speaker 1: was a good moment. And then you get John Gruden
- 35:09Speaker 1: up there.
- 35:09Speaker 15: Gruden, man.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I've always liked Coach Gruden. You know, the guy had
- 35:13Speaker 1: a great career in the NFL. You know what I
- 35:16Speaker 1: like about John Gruden? He's just enthusiastic about everything, even
- 35:20Speaker 1: the small things in football. You know, he had kind
- 35:22Speaker 1: of John Madden's obsession with even the little details in football.
- 35:27Speaker 1: It's like he just sees like a great block And
- 35:30Speaker 1: he gets excited. He's like growling with excitement. That was
- 35:33Speaker 1: a great block. I love John Gruden. He's a motivator.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And so President Trump puts him up on stage. And boy,
- 35:40Speaker 1: did he motivate. Check out Coach Gruden firing up the crowd.
- 35:44Speaker 5: Watch.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I just came back for one reason.
- 35:47Speaker 5: And I'm from Ohio.
- 35:49Speaker 4: My mom and dad are from Cleveland.
- 35:51Speaker 5: I was born in Sandusky. And I went to the
- 35:55Speaker 5: University of Dayton.
- 35:56Speaker 4: And I'm damn proud of it, man. Last thing I'll
- 36:02Speaker 4: say is John Husted is a lot more than my friend.
- 36:08Speaker 1: He was a great player.
- 36:09Speaker 4: He intercepted 17 passes.
- 36:12Speaker 1: On the gridiron.
- 36:13Speaker 5: He was a great player.
- 36:16Speaker 6: And I know why.
- 36:17Speaker 5: He's a great player.
- 36:19Speaker 4: It was because of his work ethic and his commitment
- 36:22Speaker 4: and his day-to-day mental toughness.
- 36:25Speaker 1: He will never quit ever on you or anybody.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Let's hear it for Husted.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:35Speaker 5: I'm going to close with this.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Before you know it, last thing I'm going to say,
- 36:41Speaker 4: before you know it, this election is over.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Yes, it's over.
- 36:46Speaker 5: But what we got to do is we got to
- 36:48Speaker 5: do our part.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Early voting starts Tuesday.
- 36:51Speaker 5: Can we be there or not? Let's be there.
- 36:57Speaker 4: And I know you guys got a lot more friends
- 36:59Speaker 4: than I do. Get your friends and get their friends
- 37:03Speaker 4: and their friends and let's.
- 37:04Speaker 5: Get Houston back in action. Let's go.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 37:08Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 37:11Speaker 1: You know, it's funny. Sometimes people get up on those
- 37:13Speaker 1: stages and they start shouting and they look so phony. Like,
- 37:16Speaker 1: it's just the vibes aren't working, you know? That's like
- 37:20Speaker 1: the Howard Dean scream. Remember that? But John Gruden gets
- 37:24Speaker 1: up there, he freaking crushes it. And the crowd's all
- 37:26Speaker 1: fired up. And he told them, he said, get your
- 37:28Speaker 1: asses to the polls. Get every single person you know out. Vote, vote, vote,
- 37:33Speaker 1: and do it today. Pretty great. Pretty great stuff. So here,
- 37:38Speaker 1: think about the difference. We've got like Super Bowl winning
- 37:42Speaker 1: NFL coaches firing up crowds, telling them they got to
- 37:44Speaker 1: get out and vote. They got to cast their ballots. Meanwhile,
- 37:47Speaker 1: what does the left have? The left has a bunch
- 37:50Speaker 1: of like emotionally incontinent, washed up lesbian actors who are
- 37:54Speaker 1: doing a rally this weekend telling people that Donald Trump
- 37:57Speaker 1: is going to steal the election.
- 38:00Speaker 12: He's going to steal it.
- 38:01Speaker 5: He's going to steal it. Watch this.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, let me just, there's a
- 38:05Speaker 1: language warning here, but it's just so ridiculous. I think
- 38:07Speaker 1: actually the thing that's most offensive is how sad it
- 38:10Speaker 1: is to see Robert De Niro collapsing into a pile
- 38:14Speaker 1: of just pathetic nonsense. Here's Robert De Niro losing his
- 38:17Speaker 1: mind again about Donald Trump. Cut 11.
- 38:19Speaker 3: When masked and armed ice thugs stalk our polling places,
- 38:23Speaker 3: what do we say to them?
- 38:25Speaker 5: Keep your fucking hands off our vote.
- 38:28Speaker 3: And when that coward That fucking piece of shit. Donald
- 38:33Speaker 3: Trump tries to take our voice and power away.
- 38:38Speaker 5: What do we tell him? Your fucking hands off our vote.
- 38:51Speaker 5: I think they got the message.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Now, with your commitment and support, we won't just send
- 38:57Speaker 3: them a message.
- 38:58Speaker 5: We're going to send them away.
- 39:04Speaker 12: Take back the House.
- 39:06Speaker 6: Yes.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Take back the Senate.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Yes.
- 39:11Speaker 5: Take back the power. Yes. Take back our country. Yes.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Thank you. Compare and contrast. John Gruden, Robert De Niro.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I know which one I like. De Niro, what a
- 39:26Speaker 1: tool that dude is. They're so upset that they don't
- 39:32Speaker 1: have power. Boy, that upsets them so much. They really
- 39:36Speaker 1: hate when good things happen. They really hate when you
- 39:40Speaker 1: get your country back. They really hate when you have
- 39:42Speaker 1: a president who reestablishes your borders. They really hate when
- 39:46Speaker 1: the invasion is repelled. They really hate when you stop
- 39:50Speaker 1: the chaos that they've worked so feverishly to advance. So
- 39:54Speaker 1: there's a deeply Trump derangement syndrome afflicted Robert De Niro whining.
- 40:01Speaker 1: You know, there goes his tough guy mafia stuff from
- 40:05Speaker 1: his career. Just, the guy's a tool. And he's not
- 40:08Speaker 1: the only one. You know, at this rally, what do
- 40:11Speaker 1: they call it? The hands off my vote? Hands off
- 40:14Speaker 1: our vote, that's what it's called. Hands off our vote
- 40:16Speaker 1: was the name of the rally. Now, the theory of
- 40:18Speaker 1: the rally is that Donald Trump is trying to rig
- 40:20Speaker 1: elections in the United States, and we need to protect
- 40:22Speaker 1: our elections from rigging. More on that in a moment.
- 40:27Speaker 1: But before we get there, De Niro wasn't alone. There
- 40:29Speaker 1: was also this other guy, Mark Ruffalo. Is that how
- 40:34Speaker 1: you say his name, Ruffalo? I think it's Ruffalo, not Ruffalo.
- 40:37Speaker 1: It's Ruffalo. He is this guy, kind of a diminutive guy, actually,
- 40:42Speaker 1: but he played the Hulk. He was the Hulk in
- 40:45Speaker 1: the Marvel movies. And here he is. This is cut 13.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Let's start with cut 13, Josh. Here's Mark Ruffalo saying
- 40:52Speaker 1: that he's going to hawk out because he's really angry
- 40:54Speaker 1: at Trump.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Watch.
- 40:56Speaker 6: We got to run through January. We got to make
- 40:58Speaker 6: sure our people get seated. They're going to try and
- 41:01Speaker 6: stop them. They're going to try and stop us. They're
- 41:04Speaker 6: going to try and stop us from taking our country back.
- 41:07Speaker 5: And we're not going to let them. Trump, we're not
- 41:11Speaker 5: letting you. Hands off.
- 41:14Speaker 8: Hands off.
- 41:16Speaker 5: Heads off!
- 41:18Speaker 6: Heads off our fucking vote!
- 41:25Speaker 2: Now, the last.
- 41:28Speaker 6: I'm gonna hulk out.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna hulk out!
- 41:36Speaker 5: I'm gonna hulk out!
- 41:37Speaker 1: I'm so angry!
- 41:38Speaker 12: Uh-huh.
- 41:40Speaker 1: You know it's like fiction, right? You know, Oh yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 1: the F-bomb, it's a huge thing. If I drop enough F-bombs,
- 41:48Speaker 1: people will think I'm serious. Yeah, that's a sign of
- 41:52Speaker 1: emotional stability. Here's another one. Here's Mark Ruffalo. This is
- 41:56Speaker 1: my favorite clip of him, where he's saying, you know,
- 41:58Speaker 1: what we really need is election integrity. And did you
- 42:01Speaker 1: know about these voting machines? There's a lot of problem
- 42:03Speaker 1: with these voting machines. Did you know about the custody
- 42:05Speaker 1: of your ballot? You know that it changes hands a lot,
- 42:08Speaker 1: and that's an opportunity for all sorts of fraud? Listen
- 42:11Speaker 1: as Mark Ruffalo makes the case unwittingly For the Save
- 42:15Speaker 1: America Act. Cut 12, watch.
- 42:17Speaker 2: We need to be on guard for what we may
- 42:19Speaker 2: not see coming.
- 42:22Speaker 15: Elon.
- 42:25Speaker 2: That's the cybersecurity of these elections. And while I'm not
- 42:30Speaker 2: an expert, I've been talking to experts. And the one
- 42:33Speaker 2: thing I've heard repeatedly is that there is a vulnerability
- 42:37Speaker 2: of the votes.
- 42:38Speaker 5: When they're transferred from the polling places.
- 42:43Speaker 2: To the county headquarters and then to the states. Now
- 42:47Speaker 2: that's three times those tallies are being transferred over the internet,
- 42:54Speaker 2: over the wire, over our phones. We know that these
- 43:01Speaker 2: systems are vulnerable.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I don't even think he understands how election systems work.
- 43:08Speaker 1: He said something about votes being transferred over the phone.
- 43:12Speaker 1: He's a little confused. But at its core, ladies and gentlemen,
- 43:17Speaker 1: I have a suggestion here. Let's go with this. Isn't
- 43:24Speaker 1: that kind of great in a way, what you just
- 43:25Speaker 1: heard Mark Ruffalo do? He said, guys, our election systems
- 43:29Speaker 1: are very vulnerable to fraud. You know how many hands
- 43:32Speaker 1: your votes have to pass through? You know how many
- 43:34Speaker 1: election machines are involved? How can one truly know that
- 43:37Speaker 1: your vote is actually being counted accurately? We need to
- 43:41Speaker 1: be vigilant. We need to be on guard. In fact,
- 43:42Speaker 1: we need a system designed to protect elections from theft.
- 43:48Speaker 1: What could we possibly call it? It's time. It's time.
- 43:59Speaker 1: It's time that Democrats support the Save America Act. That's it.
- 44:03Speaker 1: That's the way out of this. And I have an idea.
- 44:04Speaker 1: You ready for it? Here's my idea. I drafted this
- 44:08Speaker 1: this morning. See if you like it.
- 44:09Speaker 9: Ready?
- 44:11Speaker 1: Stop Donald Trump from stealing elections. Pass the Save America
- 44:15Speaker 1: Act today. What do you think? What do you think, Chad?
- 44:19Speaker 1: We got to stop Trump from stealing elections. We can't
- 44:21Speaker 1: let him steal elections. Donald Trump would hate it if
- 44:25Speaker 1: you pass the Save America Act today. And just to
- 44:28Speaker 1: just to drive home the point now, my guess is
- 44:30Speaker 1: Democrats do not read the fine print. So I'm going
- 44:33Speaker 1: to show you the fine print because you guys are smart.
- 44:35Speaker 15: Ready?
- 44:36Speaker 1: Look at this. Paid for by Americans trying to convince
- 44:42Speaker 1: Democrats to do the right thing for the wrong reasons.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Wouldn't that be good? I think that'd be good. Let's
- 44:51Speaker 1: stop Donald Trump from stealing elections. Pass the Save America
- 44:55Speaker 1: Act today. It has to happen. It has to happen.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, we just can't let Trump steal our elections.
- 45:01Speaker 1: So we're going to have to call on all Democrats
- 45:04Speaker 1: to pass the Save America Act to protect them. I
- 45:06Speaker 1: think it's I think it's time, ladies and gentlemen, I think.
- 45:10Speaker 1: I think it's time. Just just remarkable. It is funny.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I was cracking up that they're having a hands off
- 45:16Speaker 1: our vote rally. That's the same thing we've been saying.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Hands off our votes. Don't meddle with our elections. We
- 45:23Speaker 1: need to protect them. We need to protect them because
- 45:28Speaker 1: we need we need if voters have their way, you
- 45:30Speaker 1: know this. OK, Democrats, you can tune out now. If
- 45:33Speaker 1: voters have their way, Democrats never get power again. If
- 45:37Speaker 1: voters have their way, Democrats, unless they come up with
- 45:39Speaker 1: like actually reasonable positions that are consistent with American sovereignty,
- 45:43Speaker 1: there's no way they're winning in our election. Certainly at
- 45:47Speaker 1: the national level, taking control of the House, the Senate,
- 45:49Speaker 1: the White House, no. Which is one of the many
- 45:51Speaker 1: reasons why we have to get rid of all the
- 45:53Speaker 1: selection fraud. I mean, imagine if you had a guy
- 45:55Speaker 1: like James Talafrico show up in the United States Senate.
- 45:59Speaker 1: We got more undercover footage from his pastor this weekend,
- 46:01Speaker 1: that guy Jim Rigby. He actually admitted, actually, it's not
- 46:04Speaker 1: even undercover. I don't know what I'm talking about. This
- 46:06Speaker 1: is actually live streamed from the church. They broadcast his sermon.
- 46:11Speaker 1: And apparently in his quote unquote sermon, he announced this weekend,
- 46:16Speaker 1: it's true. The church that they're at, that church is heretical.
- 46:20Speaker 1: He said, it's true. We're a bunch of heretics. What?
- 46:23Speaker 1: This is crazy. Again, here's from the Daily Wire. Jacob
- 46:27Speaker 1: Wheeler captured this video and shared it with the rest
- 46:29Speaker 1: of us.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Watch.
- 46:31Speaker 10: Unfortunately, we're sometimes seen as heretics, which I think you
- 46:37Speaker 10: should be a heretic to oppressive forms of Christianity. I
- 46:41Speaker 10: think that's a good thing.
- 46:42Speaker 1: To Bible-believing Christianity.
- 46:44Speaker 10: But it shouldn't be heretical to move Jesus back to
- 46:47Speaker 10: the center of the message and say that you can't
- 46:51Speaker 10: silence the teachings of the Sermon on the Mound by
- 46:54Speaker 10: putting them in the context of a creed.
- 46:57Speaker 6: What?
- 46:58Speaker 10: There's not necessarily anything wrong with creeds. But what has
- 47:02Speaker 10: happened is that people don't experience the teacher because they're
- 47:08Speaker 10: trying to put him within the salvation scheme. Using one
- 47:16Speaker 10: as a sacrificial vessel instead of a teacher, a guide
- 47:20Speaker 10: to our own hearts.
- 47:21Speaker 1: What is he talking about? What in the world is
- 47:25Speaker 1: this dude talking about? Like, the creed is just, the
- 47:30Speaker 1: Apostles' Creed, for instance, it's just a simple declaration of
- 47:33Speaker 1: what Christians believe. God, the Father, the Almighty, creator of
- 47:37Speaker 1: heaven and earth, Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
- 47:40Speaker 1: conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
- 47:42Speaker 1: suffered under Pontius Pilate, crucified, died, buried, descended into hell,
- 47:47Speaker 1: rose again from the dead, ascended into heaven, seated at
- 47:50Speaker 1: the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there,
- 47:53Speaker 1: he will come to judge the living and the dead.
- 47:55Speaker 1: I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church,
- 47:57Speaker 1: the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection
- 47:59Speaker 1: of the body, and life everlasting. Okay, so that's the
- 48:03Speaker 1: Apostles' Creed. What is he talking about? That by citing
- 48:08Speaker 1: the Creed, you're silencing the Sermon on the Mount, wherein
- 48:12Speaker 1: Jesus teaches the Lord's Prayer, wherein Jesus teaches the Beatitudes?
- 48:18Speaker 5: That's insane.
- 48:22Speaker 1: It's mind-bogglingly stupid, candidly. And interesting that he straight up admits,
- 48:28Speaker 1: he goes, yeah, we would seem heretical to, what did
- 48:32Speaker 1: he call it? Oppressive forms of Christianity, which I, again,
- 48:35Speaker 1: is a way of him saying, again, Bible-believing forms of Christianity.
- 48:40Speaker 1: People actually have read their Bibles, not the fake ones
- 48:42Speaker 1: that they hand out at that guy's church, at Talafrico's church.
- 48:45Speaker 1: The real Bible. But there you go. That's more from
- 48:48Speaker 1: the Talafrico Files. Yeah, no, that's exactly right. Yeah, no,
- 48:55Speaker 1: as Josh appropriately notes, you know, this so-called Reverend Jim Rigby.
- 49:01Speaker 1: These guys, well, hold on before you play the clip.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I just want to remind people, like, this is the
- 49:04Speaker 1: summary here, that these guys are questioning whether Jesus even
- 49:09Speaker 1: existed for real. They think that if he did exist,
- 49:14Speaker 1: he didn't die for us. Their position is he died for, quote,
- 49:18Speaker 1: social justice. And that the resurrection, this guy Jim Rigby
- 49:22Speaker 1: maintains that he doesn't think the resurrection literally happened. And
- 49:25Speaker 1: he thinks it's inconsequential of whether or not it did.
- 49:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 49:28Speaker 1: So, like, what are you talking about silencing the Sermon
- 49:32Speaker 1: on the Mount and just having the creed? You don't
- 49:34Speaker 1: even believe in the creed. You've already said that. So, yes,
- 49:38Speaker 1: that is heresy. Josh, go ahead. You can show us
- 49:40Speaker 1: the clip. What does it look like?
- 49:41Speaker 14: Do we really believe that, like, a virgin gave birth
- 49:44Speaker 14: to a baby?
- 49:45Speaker 2: No.
- 49:46Speaker 5: Yeah, okay. I just don't want to offend my own
- 49:50Speaker 5: common sense.
- 49:50Speaker 15: Yeah, no, don't.
- 49:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:53Speaker 15: Absolutely don't. Part of what we encourage here is for
- 49:57Speaker 15: people to think for themselves.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:59Speaker 15: And take what makes sense. It's kind of like what
- 50:02Speaker 15: they say in 12-step programs. Take what you want and
- 50:06Speaker 15: leave the rest.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 50:09Speaker 15: And I know that that would greatly offend your relatives
- 50:14Speaker 15: who want to hang on to these archaic rules. Mary
- 50:20Speaker 15: and the virgin birth comes out of the pagan belief
- 50:24Speaker 15: that the gods came down and impregnated people, that people
- 50:29Speaker 15: were still hanging on to during that time. We have
- 50:33Speaker 15: no way of knowing if Jesus really existed. any more
- 50:36Speaker 15: than we have of knowing that the original Buddha ever existed.
- 50:41Speaker 15: And whether or not Jesus existed doesn't really matter to me.
- 50:46Speaker 15: The fact remains that that message that was delivered by
- 50:52Speaker 15: someone named Jesus, supposedly, and it could have all been
- 50:55Speaker 15: made up for all I know. And the God in
- 50:57Speaker 15: the Old Testament is not a loving God. It's a vengeful,
- 51:02Speaker 15: killing people.
- 51:05Speaker 7: Kind of God.
- 51:06Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 51:08Speaker 15: This is a lot of mythology.
- 51:10Speaker 5: Jesus was political.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:12Speaker 15: Jesus was put on that cross not to save us.
- 51:17Speaker 15: Jesus was put on that cross because Rome hated him.
- 51:19Speaker 1: And they thought he was... Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness.
- 51:24Speaker 1: There's just so much catastrophically wrong with that.
- 51:29Speaker 5: You know.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Oh, was that... That clip could go on longer? Is
- 51:34Speaker 1: that what it was, Josh? Josh said he'd spare us
- 51:38Speaker 1: the rest of the torture because it just kept going.
- 51:40Speaker 1: There's so much catastrophically wrong with that. I was watching
- 51:43Speaker 1: a very talented Christian pastor by the name of Josh Howerton.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Any of you watch Josh? He was talking about this,
- 51:50Speaker 1: and he said in particular that move where she says
- 51:55Speaker 1: that the virgin birth didn't happen. It was just ingested
- 52:00Speaker 1: from pagan belief of the gods coming down and impregnating people.
- 52:05Speaker 1: He said that she's treading on some very, very dangerous
- 52:09Speaker 1: ground and seems to be flirting with sins against the
- 52:13Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. You don't want to do that. To say
- 52:16Speaker 1: that that story was demonic in origin, that's what she
- 52:20Speaker 1: means when she says pagan. That is very, very dangerous
- 52:24Speaker 1: stuff she's playing with. And then what did she say
- 52:29Speaker 1: at the end? There was one other element that— Actually,
- 52:32Speaker 1: the entire thing drove me crazy. Everything about that drives
- 52:35Speaker 1: me absolutely crazy. But especially that it doesn't really matter
- 52:38Speaker 1: whether or not Jesus existed. Well, aren't you supposed to
- 52:40Speaker 1: be like some sort of Christian minister? So if it's
- 52:43Speaker 1: an irrelevant detail, then why are you even in this
- 52:46Speaker 1: business other than to mislead people? Because that kind of
- 52:49Speaker 1: seems like your entire reason for existence. We have to
- 52:53Speaker 1: pray for those people. We have to pray for them.
- 52:55Speaker 1: That's crazy stuff. Yeah, Josh Howerton is amazing, said Rusty20. Yeah,
- 53:01Speaker 1: I think so, too. I like that guy's videos. Very,
- 53:03Speaker 1: very cool stuff.
- 53:05Speaker 14: All right.
- 53:05Speaker 1: So there's the update on the Talafrico files and more
- 53:09Speaker 1: of why we need to keep him away. One other
- 53:13Speaker 1: thing I want to get to today with you before
- 53:14Speaker 1: we duck out from the show. The Supreme Court is
- 53:18Speaker 1: back in session today, but ahead of the Supreme Court
- 53:20Speaker 1: arriving back to work, Sam Sam Alito has a new
- 53:25Speaker 1: book out that he's promoting. And this is what happens
- 53:28Speaker 1: while you've seen Supreme Court justices do the rounds. Usually
- 53:30Speaker 1: when they write a book, they'll do a limited number
- 53:32Speaker 1: of media appearances. But that's when you get some interesting answers.
- 53:35Speaker 1: So his new book is called So Ordered. It's just out.
- 53:38Speaker 1: And he did a number of interviews this weekend. And
- 53:41Speaker 1: in those interviews, he talked about, one, I want to
- 53:46Speaker 1: share with you just that Dobbs decision that was leaked.
- 53:49Speaker 1: And Josh, I've got my own clip I want to
- 53:51Speaker 1: share with people first. He says, That when the Dobbs
- 53:54Speaker 1: decision was leaked, you know, the decision overturning Roe versus Wade,
- 53:58Speaker 1: it was a very grave betrayal of trust at the court.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Take a listen to Supreme Court Justice Alito reliving that
- 54:06Speaker 1: and talking about how Justice Brett Kavanaugh was almost assassinated.
- 54:10Speaker 14: I anticipated that it would happen. anger a great many
- 54:16Speaker 14: people who believed and continue to believe strongly that there
- 54:20Speaker 14: should be a constitutional right to abortion. So I understood that.
- 54:25Speaker 14: I wasn't surprised that there was such a reaction. I
- 54:28Speaker 14: didn't anticipate the particulars, what that would, the forms that
- 54:33Speaker 14: that reaction would would take the most extreme forms. And
- 54:37Speaker 14: I never dreamed that the draft of the opinion would
- 54:41Speaker 14: be leaked. That was totally unprecedented in the history of
- 54:46Speaker 14: the country. It was a grave breach of the trust
- 54:50Speaker 14: that everybody who worked in this building.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Had before that point.
- 54:56Speaker 14: And it very predictably made the five of us in
- 55:00Speaker 14: the majority targets for assassination. and nearly resulted in the
- 55:05Speaker 14: assassination of my colleague Brett Kavanaugh.
- 55:08Speaker 1: It's crazy. I mean, it's all true. It's all real.
- 55:11Speaker 1: We all saw it play out. We saw that there
- 55:13Speaker 1: was some transgender dude who tried to kill Brett Kavanaugh.
- 55:18Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 55:19Speaker 1: It's totally insane. And yet it keeps happening. That's the
- 55:23Speaker 1: assassination culture on the left. That decision was leaked with
- 55:27Speaker 1: that intent in mind. Menace the justices until they change
- 55:31Speaker 1: their minds. Thank God they didn't. Thank God Roe versus
- 55:34Speaker 1: Wade was overturned. But it was a tough road to
- 55:38Speaker 1: get there, including threats to their lives. Now, who did
- 55:42Speaker 1: the leak? We still don't have that answer. Who actually
- 55:46Speaker 1: leaked the opinion that got published in Politico? Well, good question.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Sam Alito has a suspicion about this. Cut 17.
- 55:57Speaker 5: Watch.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Do you have an opinion about who you think the
- 56:03Speaker 1: leaker was?
- 56:04Speaker 14: I do have an opinion, but the evidence available at
- 56:10Speaker 14: this time is not strong enough for the court or
- 56:14Speaker 14: for me to say this is the person who was responsible.
- 56:22Speaker 1: He has an opinion, just not enough evidence. Not enough evidence.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You know, I think I told you this before, You
- 56:29Speaker 1: may think, well, why can't the FBI go in there?
- 56:31Speaker 1: Why can't we have these executive branch agencies go in?
- 56:35Speaker 1: The answer, as I've gathered, is the Supreme Court is
- 56:39Speaker 1: looking to protect the independence of the judiciary. They don't
- 56:41Speaker 1: want the FBI rifling through their business. They don't want
- 56:45Speaker 1: a bunch of outside law enforcement agencies coming in. They
- 56:48Speaker 1: wanted to handle it internally because, again, they're trying to
- 56:52Speaker 1: protect the independence of that branch of government. Okay, fine.
- 56:57Speaker 1: But they never actually resulted in an answer to this question.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Who leaked it? Who leaked it? Because that person led
- 57:04Speaker 1: to something truly awful. Assassination attempts on sitting Supreme Court justices.
- 57:10Speaker 1: I think the public is owed clear answers, even at
- 57:13Speaker 1: this late date. But unfortunately, they're not here yet. Justice
- 57:17Speaker 1: Alito also said this weekend, because he keeps on being
- 57:20Speaker 1: asked if he's going to retire. He's getting up there
- 57:23Speaker 1: in age. Are you going to retire or is are
- 57:25Speaker 1: we going to be in a vulnerable position if Democrats
- 57:28Speaker 1: get power? Here's Justice Alito saying, look, I've thought about retiring,
- 57:32Speaker 1: but I do have more service yet to give. And
- 57:34Speaker 1: I got to say, I am very grateful for Justices
- 57:37Speaker 1: Thomas and Alito. They are the two absolute best justices
- 57:41Speaker 1: we have. Here's Justice Alito saying he's sticking around for
- 57:44Speaker 1: a little bit longer. Cut 16.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Watch.
- 57:46Speaker 11: You decided not to retire this year, despite, I think,
- 57:49Speaker 11: some pretty intense pressure from from Republicans who thought, well,
- 57:53Speaker 11: Republicans are in control of the Senate, so it would
- 57:55Speaker 11: be more easy, easier to confirm your replacement. What made
- 57:59Speaker 11: you decide to stay on?
- 58:02Speaker 1: I thought about it, and I will.
- 58:04Speaker 9: You did.
- 58:04Speaker 1: You considered it.
- 58:05Speaker 14: I will continue. Well, it's something I think that somebody
- 58:09Speaker 14: at my age has to think about every term, but
- 58:13Speaker 14: I thought that I could still make a valuable contribution
- 58:18Speaker 14: which is why I became a justice and a judge
- 58:22Speaker 14: in the first place. So that was basically it.
- 58:24Speaker 11: So you'll be kind of reconsidering this probably every year,
- 58:27Speaker 11: rethinking it.
- 58:29Speaker 14: Yeah, I think I have to.
- 58:31Speaker 11: Why does that not risk undoing all the work that
- 58:34Speaker 11: you have done here at the court? Like what happened
- 58:37Speaker 11: with Justice Ginsburg?
- 58:38Speaker 1: I think it's too hard to predict.
- 58:40Speaker 14: It's too hard to predict how for anybody, and particularly
- 58:46Speaker 14: when you reach a certain age, what your situation will
- 58:50Speaker 14: be a year from now, two years from now, and
- 58:55Speaker 14: so forth. And it's too hard to predict what the
- 58:59Speaker 14: political situation will be and what any president might do
- 59:03Speaker 14: with respect to a replacement.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Too hard to predict, so I'm not going to be
- 59:10Speaker 1: in the business of predicting. I'm just going to keep
- 59:12Speaker 1: plugging away and do my job for as long as
- 59:14Speaker 1: I can do it. Sam Alito is 76 years old.
- 59:18Speaker 1: God willing, he's got another 30 years in him. That'd
- 59:21Speaker 1: be great. 106 years old, just cranking out the most
- 59:24Speaker 1: conservative Supreme Court opinions imaginable. I don't think he's going
- 59:27Speaker 1: to make it that far, 106. He should retire well
- 59:29Speaker 1: before that. But he's going to stick around. And that
- 59:34Speaker 1: brings some comfort to me because I like Justice Thomas.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I like Justice Alito. I think they're super impressive and
- 59:38Speaker 1: very reliable when it comes to standing up for the Constitution.
- 59:42Speaker 1: But one more thing on this, and then I'll let
- 59:44Speaker 1: you go. Justice Thomas and Justice Alito should be the
- 59:48Speaker 1: guys who the White House consults with about picking the
- 59:51Speaker 1: next nominees. I think President Trump, no more of this
- 59:55Speaker 1: like outside third party groups or the Federalist Society, whatever
- 59:58Speaker 1: that is. Just go to the guys who do it
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: the best. Go to Justice Thomas, Justice Alito, and ask
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: them to come up with a list of their 10
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: favorite people to join the United States Supreme Court. Let
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: them pick. Because we want somebody who has that kind
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: of consistent judgment, that kind of grounding, just absolute rock
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: solid constitutionalist. That's who we need. And I trust and
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I trust Justices Thomas and Alito to help create that
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: shortlist and hand it off to the president of the
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: United States. I think that would be wonderful. Wonderful. We'll
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: see if he does it. I think it'd be great, though.
- 1:00:37Speaker 15: I do.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I've got a lot more to get to. We'll get
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to it on the big national radio show today. The
