- 0:47Speaker 1: name out of you before the end of the night.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It's either Angelique or Debbie I think at this point,
- 0:52Speaker 1: or Bob Roberta. Roberta's a beautiful name. We've got so
- 0:56Speaker 1: many people coming in. We got the Golden Girls. Yeah,

- 1:09Speaker 1: the bug comes from, but I saw it on our
- 1:10Speaker 1: Instagram there. And then we got our husband, Umberto. I
- 1:16Speaker 1: don't know how to say his last name exactly, but
- 1:17Speaker 1: it's We're going to figure it out by the end
- 1:19Speaker 1: of Yes, it was a lovely name. And then we
- 1:22Speaker 1: also have, of course, Joan and Shock, Susie Evans, Susie's
- 1:27Speaker 1: going to be here tonight.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Jiggity john.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Jonathan, Yes, Jonathon Johnson is that his last name, But
- 1:38Speaker 3: he's Jiggity.
- 1:38Speaker 2: J and J all night no matter what he wants
- 1:41Speaker 2: or desires.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I think he does desire it or it wouldn't be
- 1:44Speaker 1: his moniker.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Uh there, So most of them are flying in for this, Yes,
- 1:49Speaker 3: most of them are traveling in.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's just an easy travel day for most. Yeah, I
- 1:53Speaker 1: mean l l A connect everywhere of course, and then
- 1:56Speaker 1: the yeah, you, I'm very thankful you're here. You had
- 1:59Speaker 1: a wild travel walk us through what happened. It all
- 2:02Speaker 1: started on a stormy day. No, it was five am
- 2:07Speaker 1: in Michigan. I woke up. I was very excited. I
- 2:10Speaker 1: had packed, I'd pre packed. I was very fired up
- 2:13Speaker 1: because it was Ben's baby day, so I was excited
- 2:17Speaker 1: to be invited, excited to be a part of it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I woke up, I'm all fired up. I shower, I'm
- 2:23Speaker 1: out the door quietly by the way, because I have
- 2:25Speaker 1: two young boys who I don't want to wait because
- 2:26Speaker 1: that would make mommy not happy. And I'm out the door.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm on my way to the airport. I get there
- 2:31Speaker 1: a little bit early. I have a nice breakfast sandwich.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Things are just going beautifully, and then as I board
- 2:38Speaker 1: the plane, they tell us there might be a maintenance
- 2:42Speaker 1: issue with some air supply, not the band, but the
- 2:46Speaker 1: actual circulation of air within the plane. Three and a
- 2:50Speaker 1: half hours later, we're getting off the plane. I'm texting
- 2:54Speaker 1: everyone that matters here at our iHeart family, saying I
- 2:58Speaker 1: think I'm in trouble. I don't know what's going to happen.
- 3:02Speaker 1: There was one plane that went out again at twelve thirty,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and this is again, this is eight twenty five that
- 3:08Speaker 1: I board the plane, but I couldn't try to get
- 3:11Speaker 1: on that plane until I was already kicked off. The
- 3:13Speaker 1: other plane was kind of a long story. Anyway, we're
- 3:16Speaker 1: here for him, I run across the airport from Gate
- 3:19Speaker 1: A sixteen to Kate A seventy two, sprinting like Carl Jones, Wait,
- 3:25Speaker 1: wasn't it Carl Lewis Carl Lewis across the airport and
- 3:30Speaker 1: as I arrive, I get on the plane with there
- 3:33Speaker 1: was twenty two people on standby. There were two seats available.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I got one of them. So I made it. And
- 3:39Speaker 1: maybe I would have made it without that. I would
- 3:41Speaker 1: have walked. I would have briskly walked. I would not
- 3:44Speaker 1: have made it without it. But I was trying, and
- 3:46Speaker 1: I was like, I was like throwing out recommendations like hey,
- 3:48Speaker 1: I might be able to podcast from my you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: closet at my house, and Amy Sugarman is like, absolutely no.
- 3:55Speaker 1: This is all about top quality sonic experiences. So I
- 3:59Speaker 1: just had to make sure we got it done, and
- 4:01Speaker 1: therefore I charted the plane.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I appreciate it, buddy, you literally charted a plane. You
- 4:05Speaker 3: have a wild experience on your flight, then with some people,
- 4:10Speaker 3: a new YU you even recognized a few times on
- 4:12Speaker 3: this flight.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Well yeah, so I don't care what side of the
- 4:15Speaker 1: political eil you're on. I think she happens to be
- 4:18Speaker 1: a great governor. The great governor of Michigan, Miss Gretchen Whitmer,
- 4:23Speaker 1: was on my flight. But what a lot of people
- 4:25Speaker 1: don't know was she was my buddy in college, so
- 4:27Speaker 1: she had many years. She was in first class. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: was relegated to steerage and on this flight, I was
- 4:34Speaker 1: in middle seat, by the way, And on this flight,
- 4:38Speaker 1: she glances over her shoulder and she's like, Bob. I'm like, hey, crotch,
- 4:43Speaker 1: give her a big hug. And I go, I'm so
- 4:46Speaker 1: proud of everything you've done. And she goes, I'm just
- 4:49Speaker 1: a governor, You're a big time which I thought was
- 4:52Speaker 1: really funny. We took a picture. I sent it to
- 4:54Speaker 1: my wife. My wife now thinks I should run her government.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Then the guy I'm sitting next to on the plane crazy.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm looking at this guy. I'm like, God, this guy
- 5:03Speaker 1: looks familiar to me. I've never met him before. His
- 5:08Speaker 1: dad was my mentor in high school, who was the
- 5:14Speaker 1: quarterback before I was in high school. He went on
- 5:16Speaker 1: a play. He walked out at Michigan got a scholarship.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I want to I walked out on Michigan State, got
- 5:20Speaker 1: a scholarship. His dad and I like these two quarterbacks.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Came out of Riverview, who you know, small school in Michigan,
- 5:26Speaker 1: kept making the state semifinals, never made the finals. The
- 5:30Speaker 1: guy was like, my one of my heroes. His dad
- 5:33Speaker 1: and he's like, oh my god, my dad was just
- 5:35Speaker 1: talking about you. You're Bob Guiney. I'm like, what was
- 5:37Speaker 1: your dad saying about me? Was like super excited. He's
- 5:40Speaker 1: like he said you were super cool and that you
- 5:41Speaker 1: do all this kind of stuff. I'm like, your dad
- 5:43Speaker 1: said dad. I'm like, I'm like, oh, I was like
- 5:45Speaker 1: a great moment. So anyway, yeah, I had a really
- 5:48Speaker 1: nice flight and arrived of course, comes here to Tyrannya,
- 5:51Speaker 1: which I love. Our suite, it's the Imperial Palace suite.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I don't even know what this means, sir as we
- 5:59Speaker 1: would well.
- 6:01Speaker 4: The imperior Palace, but we are in a little house.
- 6:03Speaker 4: And Ben, how about you getting here?
- 6:05Speaker 1: And was it a challenge for you?
- 6:06Speaker 4: You had to leave Jess for your baby shower.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I left my wife because she is doing her
- 6:12Speaker 3: baby shower in Nashville. So I left her today to
- 6:16Speaker 3: fly here for this. Wait, is she in Nashville now
- 6:19Speaker 3: or she leaves tomorrow morning?
- 6:21Speaker 2: First thing?
- 6:21Speaker 3: And so I'm replacing her so I can watch the
- 6:24Speaker 3: dog nice. So I'm we're gonna be bypassing each other.
- 6:27Speaker 3: In fact, I'll land as she's getting on her flight, excellent,
- 6:31Speaker 3: and then i'll see her when she gets back. So
- 6:34Speaker 3: she'll be celebrated and love done so well, and I'll
- 6:38Speaker 3: be celebrated and love done so well tonight. I know
- 6:41Speaker 3: this is very special. I'm very excited for her to
- 6:44Speaker 3: be here, Bob. We have some incredible guests. Is there
- 6:48Speaker 3: one as we anticipate the evening that you're really excited
- 6:53Speaker 3: to talk to, Like they're really kind of like when
- 6:56Speaker 3: you saw the list, you said, I cannot wait to
- 6:58Speaker 3: have a conversation with them.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Well, I'll say this. You know, one of the things
- 7:01Speaker 1: that we're gonna do tonight is, if you don't mind,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask everyone tonight for a little bit of
- 7:07Speaker 1: parenting and books because the majority of the majority of
- 7:10Speaker 1: the folks we're gonna interview tonight have them. I think
- 7:13Speaker 1: I think the Golden Ladies I love them very much anyway,
- 7:18Speaker 1: Like I really enjoy them, and I think that the
- 7:20Speaker 1: three of them together are just magic. I think Joan
- 7:24Speaker 1: in shock. I'm very excited to meet them, very excited
- 7:26Speaker 1: to talk with them. I'm a fan of his. I'm
- 7:29Speaker 1: a big fan of Jones, but watching the season, I've
- 7:33Speaker 1: become a fan of his and I'm excited to see
- 7:35Speaker 1: their dynamic. But I'm also excited to hear the advice.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You know, Like I think, I think we all think
- 7:42Speaker 1: we know what we're doing, but there's no handbook when
- 7:44Speaker 1: you have a kid, right, there's like, you know.
- 7:46Speaker 3: The best advice may have ever been given. It's just like, hey,
- 7:49Speaker 3: we're all building the plane and flying at the same time.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And guess what, nobody's wrong.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Like, at the end of the day, your way is
- 7:57Speaker 1: going to be your way and you're you're in Jessice.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Way is going to be what you guys choose, and
- 8:01Speaker 1: it's going to be your own choice. We've all been
- 8:04Speaker 1: raised by parents that we think did a great job
- 8:07Speaker 1: or some that didn't do a great job. But I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: not gonna do the same way my parents did it either.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna have my own little twist and I hope
- 8:14Speaker 1: that you know that helps my kids. And I'm sure
- 8:17Speaker 1: you guys are going to do the same thing and
- 8:18Speaker 1: make the same choices. So I'm excited for you guys,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and excited to see how the whole thing unfolds. I
- 8:23Speaker 1: love you both as a couple. I think that having
- 8:28Speaker 1: a child is going to be I mean, it's just
- 8:30Speaker 1: a perfect fit for you. Dude. You're born to be
- 8:33Speaker 1: a dad. I feel like you're kind of my dad
- 8:35Speaker 1: in certain ways that I mean, you're like thirty seven
- 8:38Speaker 1: years younger than me, but you also give me parenting
- 8:40Speaker 1: advice all the time, which I love. I'll be like, Ben,
- 8:42Speaker 1: what do you think I should do? And you're like, well, buddy,
- 8:44Speaker 1: why don't you just buck up? And you know, you
- 8:46Speaker 1: pull your bootstraps up. I'm like, thanks, Bud, you stop
- 8:48Speaker 1: crying either. The best dad man, and and I think
- 8:51Speaker 1: that you're going to be such a great dad. And
- 8:54Speaker 1: I think that the two of you together are going
- 8:56Speaker 1: to be so magical. You're gonna have moments though, and
- 8:59Speaker 1: it's like that that happens. Your parents had him, your
- 9:03Speaker 1: parents parents had him, and everyone has them. Just you know,
- 9:08Speaker 1: just stay true to each other and and and come
- 9:10Speaker 1: through it on the other side. I can't wait to
- 9:11Speaker 1: see how it all works out.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Is it starting to feel real? Because we're two months
- 9:26Speaker 4: out almost exactly you.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Tonight will be a night it feels real to me. Yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 3: it's it's hitting. I mean, it's wild to walk into
- 9:37Speaker 3: a room where things are pink. The themed girl. Yeah,
- 9:42Speaker 3: it's a real girl.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Christmas if I if I get paint the scene a
- 9:46Speaker 1: little bit. Tonight we walk in our little villa. Here
- 9:50Speaker 1: is decorated so beautifully. Man awesome Christmas trees, pink Christmas trees,
- 9:56Speaker 1: pink stocking calves, and this is almost famous on the
- 9:59Speaker 1: Little Teddy Bit Snacks delicious snacks by the way, which
- 10:03Speaker 1: we haven't gotten eat yet, but we will. But like
- 10:06Speaker 1: all sorts of like just wonderful treats. And everybody's like,
- 10:10Speaker 1: this place looks so.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Cute, it's amazing. So it's the best.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Welcome to your future.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Ready for pink, A lot of pink. Are you guys
- 10:18Speaker 4: gonna do pink?
- 10:18Speaker 3: Or she we're gonna do pink. Jessica told me we're
- 10:21Speaker 3: doing pink. That's very pink. The nurseres pink. You know,
- 10:26Speaker 3: I did the whole nursery. My mom came out and
- 10:29Speaker 3: helped me with a little bit, and then Jessica helped
- 10:31Speaker 3: me finish. But we wains coated the whole room tops,
- 10:34Speaker 3: pink bottom is Winnie the Pooh themed wallpaper.
- 10:39Speaker 2: It's it's really actually it's done. Nursery set up.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I mean it is crib's ready, dressers ready, everything's in place.
- 10:48Speaker 1: You go in and look around at times and just yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 1: it freaks.
- 10:50Speaker 3: It's just like freaky, Like it's so peaceful in there.
- 10:54Speaker 3: We have a rocking chair with this big old cushion
- 10:56Speaker 3: on it, and I sit in sometimes I'm just like,
- 10:58Speaker 3: not too long from now, like this be this chair
- 11:01Speaker 3: will have meaning. It was my great grandfather's rocking chair,
- 11:06Speaker 3: so it's been passed down. Yeah, it feels very real,
- 11:11Speaker 3: very exciting now to finish this whole thing out. Boby,
- 11:15Speaker 3: you and I have one thing we are going to
- 11:16Speaker 3: argue about. You're a Delta guy. I'm a United guy.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I'm reaching my one one million miles on United.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And I know you just.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Recently peanuts to Bob.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Two million people in general, two million miles on Delta.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yes, if you had to all of again, would you
- 11:38Speaker 2: have switched to United?
- 11:39Speaker 1: I started United? Actually, well I shouldn't say. I started
- 11:42Speaker 1: Northwest Airlines, which then turned into Delta, but then Bachelor
- 11:46Speaker 1: put me on United. I wasn't born yet, and such
- 11:50Speaker 1: horrible experiences just as an airline and as a people.
- 11:54Speaker 1: No until O kidding, I tell kiddy, I think I
- 11:57Speaker 1: think these are both great airlines. I'm a guy, so like,
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know, you.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Go where your hub is, where my hus at Denver,
- 12:04Speaker 2: you got.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You gotta be a United guy. You gotta be a
- 12:05Speaker 1: nightty guy. And I'm a Delta guy. I will say this,
- 12:09Speaker 1: had it not been for my status Diamond two million,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I superseded twenty two people to get on a plane
- 12:17Speaker 1: to see you today. And I will say this to
- 12:19Speaker 1: those other twenty one people who probably had major family
- 12:22Speaker 1: obligations and incredible difficult moments they were encountering. Sorry sucker,
- 12:28Speaker 1: So it's okay. I will say this. I did kept saying.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I kept saying to the Delta people, does my status
- 12:34Speaker 1: help me here? Yeah? Like what's your status again? I'm like,
- 12:37Speaker 1: look it up two million miles diamond Google and they're like,
- 12:40Speaker 1: uh yes, mister ginny. You get a seat on the plane.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I was, you know, back seat on the hump middle,
- 12:46Speaker 1: but I was willing to take it because I was like,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I was like, I gotta make it you guys, like
- 12:49Speaker 1: I've been here since the crack of dawn.
- 12:51Speaker 4: You two both travel so much? Yeah, both of you.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Well, you know it's funny like when I lived in LA,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I didn't work in LA and that's why I left
- 13:00Speaker 1: l A. I worked in New York, Florida, Texas, whatever,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and I like it. I might as want us move
- 13:08Speaker 1: back home. That he tried to be close to my
- 13:09Speaker 1: dad and you know, the whole thing. And I still don't.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I don't work any Troit obviously, I'm everywhere else. You know.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's like it's interesting to me because I'm always flying
- 13:17Speaker 1: to go wherever I have to go. But I like it,
- 13:20Speaker 1: like I don't mind it.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Do you like it?
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yeah, there's been seasons I do like it. I like traveling.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I like going around. Not as much now since Justice home,
- 13:31Speaker 3: not as much now that I have a dog.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Probably be less than when I have a kid.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Not less, although an occasional night away yeah won't be bad.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Do you like that you two like you two are
- 13:43Speaker 4: bunking together tonight. I love like, will you have like
- 13:46Speaker 4: some bro talk?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Well, I'm big spoon. What we do this?
- 13:52Speaker 3: Three bedrooms and one of which will be used.
- 13:59Speaker 1: At you.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I have a boy question because ladies. When we travel,
- 14:05Speaker 4: we definitely enjoy the bathtubs, Like, would you guys ever
- 14:08Speaker 4: consider taking a bath tonight in that giant I mean
- 14:12Speaker 4: it's a giant like tub.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You know that? Ever a different way, So when Guinea
- 14:17Speaker 1: and Grimes would be on tour with Scott Crimes, I
- 14:20Speaker 1: would walk in at Grimes taking a bath all the time.
- 14:23Speaker 4: How did he feel about you walking in on.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I don't know. I'd walk like a bubbles I'm like,
- 14:28Speaker 1: what the hell's going on?
- 14:28Speaker 4: Can we give a shout out to his redo of
- 14:30Speaker 4: the bay Watch theme? Though? It's really fantastic, Like it's
- 14:33Speaker 4: like actually amazing, and I tried to buy it on iTunes?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Can you get me a copy of it?
- 14:38Speaker 1: So good?
- 14:38Speaker 4: Oh, it's so good, Like I literally want to have
- 14:40Speaker 4: a party where he comes and sings that thing.
- 14:42Speaker 1: He'll do it in a minute, it's so good.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Sorry, Dobbie, I know it's so iconic that he totally read.
- 14:49Speaker 4: He's the voice though. I love Debbie Gibson, but she's
- 14:52Speaker 4: really the backup sing yeah and sorry, talk to me
- 14:55Speaker 4: about the bathtubs.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Scott loves bath and so we'd be on tour and
- 15:00Speaker 1: we would do like twenty shows in a month, let's say,
- 15:03Speaker 1: and every night. I mean, now, it could be a
- 15:05Speaker 1: nice bathtub like this, or it could be like you know,
- 15:09Speaker 1: the nights in with purple drapes and like craziness in
- 15:13Speaker 1: the tub is nothing you should ever set your ass,
- 15:16Speaker 1: let alone your feet in. He would be in it bathing,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and I'm like, what's going on? He's like, I just
- 15:21Speaker 1: like to think of bath you know, it's kind of
- 15:23Speaker 1: calms me. And I always thought it was so funny.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I'm not a bath guy. No, not a bath guy.
- 15:28Speaker 3: We have a big old soaker tub at our house
- 15:30Speaker 3: that we put in and I I've never gotten in it. Yeah,
- 15:35Speaker 3: I've never. I'm not a bath guy. I'm a hot
- 15:37Speaker 3: tub guy, not a bath guy.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Well you are clearly hot.
- 15:39Speaker 4: What about what about a heating pad guy? Did you
- 15:41Speaker 4: guys notice I till yes, Oh my buddy, do you
- 15:43Speaker 4: want me to leave this yere tonight to like?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it is nice, it could be nice for a
- 15:47Speaker 1: lower lumbar.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I'm take a cozy shower, not together.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'll take Probably you have a hot tea.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever been up anywhere where there's
- 16:03Speaker 1: a hot tub where I don't get it. It's kind
- 16:04Speaker 1: of obligatory.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Outside it's not like, you know, like it's not the fantasy.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Fancy the hot tub. On my Alaskan date with Kelly Joe,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I learned.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Something amazing about you guys, So I have a I
- 16:19Speaker 4: have bachelor knowledge to drop that you guys can tell
- 16:22Speaker 4: me some tea. Yes, that I just learned that kind
- 16:26Speaker 4: of made my head explode.
- 16:27Speaker 1: What.
- 16:28Speaker 4: I don't know if this was around for Bob, but Ben,
- 16:30Speaker 4: this should have been around for you. That they want
- 16:34Speaker 4: really badly to get a hot tub moment happening. They
- 16:38Speaker 4: will provide the hot tub. So like they will bring
- 16:42Speaker 4: the hot tub to where the date is to get
- 16:45Speaker 4: y'all in the hot tub. Hold on, meaning it doesn't
- 16:48Speaker 4: have to be a place like say you're at a
- 16:50Speaker 4: winery and it doesn't have a hot tub.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You never watched my season, there was literally a hot
- 16:54Speaker 3: tub sitting in the middle of the Desert Sugarman.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Resort in Alaska. On my season, there is no hot tub.
- 17:02Speaker 1: They make a plastic pool, yes, into a hot tub.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's not warm.
- 17:06Speaker 4: No, it's like you know, when you're out like a
- 17:09Speaker 4: buffet and there's like that candle underneath the silver that's
- 17:13Speaker 4: how I heard they do the hot tab.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It wasn't anything more than that because we couldn't have
- 17:17Speaker 1: the heater would not be on because it would ruin
- 17:19Speaker 1: the audio.
- 17:20Speaker 4: So it was cold, like look ice cold.
- 17:23Speaker 1: First of all, it's at the base of a mountain
- 17:25Speaker 1: in Alaska and there's not a hot tub there.
- 17:28Speaker 3: That's yeah, there's a hot tub in the middle of
- 17:30Speaker 3: the desert.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Like, that's not a thing.
- 17:32Speaker 3: No, there'll get in. They literally like truck it in.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I learned this yesterday.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Garden hose plastic tub lighter.
- 17:42Speaker 4: So it doesn't have the proper chemicals.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Oh I got weird rashes?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 17:48Speaker 4: Did you that happened for your show too?
- 17:50Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah twice.
- 17:51Speaker 4: And let me ask you, is this because they want
- 17:54Speaker 4: the shirtless bikini moment or do they want hoping like
- 17:57Speaker 4: some kisses happen.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's like.
- 18:01Speaker 2: They wanted me without my shirt on as much as
- 18:03Speaker 2: possible with me.
- 18:05Speaker 1: They wanted me to wear a shirt and they were
- 18:08Speaker 1: trying to pack me up with a thermal whatever.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Whatever average body you've got is going to relate with
- 18:15Speaker 3: so much of the American public.
- 18:18Speaker 4: What was your thing?
- 18:19Speaker 2: That the perfect bend?
- 18:20Speaker 4: The perfect bend, that's caused him a lot. He needs
- 18:22Speaker 4: therapy from that. Wait, does this before you had the worm?
- 18:25Speaker 4: Does everybody know about that? Then was essentially sick his
- 18:28Speaker 4: entire season.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I noticed you got skinnier.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yeah, my shirt off. I just look good.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Well anyway, I will say my season of the Bachelor,
- 18:38Speaker 1: they found ways to put me in sweaters. You get
- 18:44Speaker 1: him in a turtleneck, we ensconce him in a snowbill suit.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Uh, this is going to be a great night. The
- 18:52Speaker 3: guests are going to arrive here in the next few minutes.
- 18:54Speaker 3: We've got to get prepped. We've got to get ready.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Struggling some wise like words as we start your baby
- 19:03Speaker 4: shower that you're feeling about becoming a dad, I mean tech.
- 19:08Speaker 3: You're a dad now, yeahnam My wise words are this,
- 19:15Speaker 3: be present, be patient, give everything around you a ton
- 19:21Speaker 3: of grace and understanding.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And with a baby.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Girl, the best advice I've been given is to represent
- 19:31Speaker 3: what a man means to her, and let your wife
- 19:34Speaker 3: represent what a woman means to her and carry those
- 19:37Speaker 3: roles very specifically, but also with a ton of love.
- 19:43Speaker 3: And that's my hope, that's my desire. And then I'll
- 19:46Speaker 3: take any other advice I can get because I'm walking
- 19:49Speaker 3: into this thing and I'm winging it like most podcasts.
- 19:52Speaker 1: A man, I think you're doing great. I think kindness
- 19:54Speaker 1: is key. I think about that all the time with
- 19:56Speaker 1: my kids, Like, whenever I get super irritated with whatever,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm like, man, if I can be kind here, then
- 20:03Speaker 1: when they when they have the same situation at school
- 20:06Speaker 1: or with their friends, maybe they'll emulate me a little
- 20:08Speaker 1: bit and they'll be kind. And so I as much
- 20:10Speaker 1: as I want to go bananas, I'll be like, oh,
- 20:12Speaker 1: let's try to not do that. You know, but I
- 20:15Speaker 1: think you got it. You're you got to figure it out.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You're already a great dad and you aren't even technically
- 20:20Speaker 1: a dad. Yeah, I guess, but you're going to be
- 20:22Speaker 1: a wonderful dad. And you and Jess are going to
- 20:25Speaker 1: have such amazing kids. And I think we set up
- 20:28Speaker 1: arranged marriages. Now. Yeah, my children, uh, they're they're a
- 20:32Speaker 1: little bit crazy. Uh, yours will be kind and sweet
- 20:36Speaker 1: and wonderful and we'll just when they compromises.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and let's uh, let's be excited about what everybody
- 20:43Speaker 3: has to say tonight. They all traveled in for the
- 20:45Speaker 3: for this, and we're sad there here.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Everybody loves you, buddy. I'm excited to hear what they
- 20:48Speaker 1: had to say, and I'm excited to be a part
- 20:51Speaker 1: of it. So thanks for having me.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Well until next time, I've been been, I've been, Bob
- 20:55Speaker 3: and Amy's just been sitting over here hanging out.
