- 0:07Speaker 1: Plays get broken down and science gets denied the bench.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hour two of Off the Bench Live from the Mercedes
- 0:14Speaker 1: ben So Baton Rouge Studio starts.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Now.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Every time I say that, you laugh?
- 0:37Speaker 4: What'd you say?
- 0:38Speaker 5: Sports?
- 0:39Speaker 6: Sports Welcome back again o TB one of four five
- 0:42Speaker 6: ESPN Baton Rouge. Uh.
- 0:44Speaker 4: We used to call it crop dusting sports.
- 0:47Speaker 6: Okay, because we would that we wouldn't like fully get
- 0:50Speaker 6: into it.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Yeah, but like we'd hover above it a little bit,
- 0:54Speaker 4: like sprinkle a little bit.
- 0:55Speaker 7: We just crop this, like we just fly right over it,
- 0:58Speaker 7: just barely touch it. Did Craig give us that one?
- 1:01Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And he had like a little hit a gift little video.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Jiff I go with gift gift.
- 1:08Speaker 6: I say gift only because the person who created him,
- 1:12Speaker 6: That's how he says.
- 1:13Speaker 8: Only because like Jeff peanut butter is.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Jeff is already a word.
- 1:19Speaker 8: Yeah, Jeff is already peanut butters.
- 1:21Speaker 2: J I.
- 1:21Speaker 7: So I follow up question, when you're texting the word gez,
- 1:26Speaker 7: how do you spell like geez geez?
- 1:31Speaker 2: So?
- 1:31Speaker 4: I used to say easy yeah, a whole lot.
- 1:36Speaker 7: But one of my buddies when I was in Green
- 1:39Speaker 7: Bay evermore, it's like, why you keep saying geeze to me?
- 1:44Speaker 7: So so Gez to me is j It's like it's
- 1:48Speaker 7: like the Jeff. I thought it was smarter than us though, well, yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 7: that's what I thought about, And I was like, yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 7: I got it. G makes a sound I teach my children.
- 2:00Speaker 9: But I thought it was because I thought or I
- 2:02Speaker 9: thought it was like j g's because I thought GS
- 2:05Speaker 9: was like you didn't want to say Jesus.
- 2:08Speaker 5: So that's why j.
- 2:12Speaker 6: E s I say, like when I'm in said Gesus,
- 2:15Speaker 6: I say Jesus, marry and Joseph like when I'm like.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Or GZ can also it could be sure for g whiz.
- 2:22Speaker 7: Then it would be a grue short for Jesus short
- 2:27Speaker 7: for g Wiz.
- 2:27Speaker 4: No I ever say g Whizz punch me right in
- 2:31Speaker 4: the face.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Good point. You're not Philip Rivers. I got it.
- 2:38Speaker 6: You can crow hop me like crow hoped me hit
- 2:40Speaker 6: me and then say hey, Bud, you know why and
- 2:42Speaker 6: about You're right.
- 2:42Speaker 4: What's why.
- 2:44Speaker 7: Let's ask the chat right now? Is the is the
- 2:46Speaker 7: word g's when you're saying in a conversation. Is the
- 2:49Speaker 7: word g's short for Jesus or is it short.
- 2:51Speaker 2: For g whiz?
- 2:53Speaker 7: Right?
- 2:54Speaker 6: Can't wait to find out those results. Sitting on the
- 2:57Speaker 6: edge of my seat here.
- 2:58Speaker 5: I'm very curious.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So we've done a lot this week.
- 3:01Speaker 7: I was listening to that I have that rejoined there?
- 3:04Speaker 7: Oh is that I get that word right? Rejoin?
- 3:06Speaker 8: Yeah, pretty much, so that's what that's what we call
- 3:09Speaker 8: it here.
- 3:09Speaker 7: We have denied a lot of science this week. Like
- 3:13Speaker 7: they thought enough of us about like denying science to
- 3:16Speaker 7: put it and.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Put it in there. Yeah, what do you want to deny?
- 3:19Speaker 4: You want to think about it?
- 3:20Speaker 5: We're not sunscreen people.
- 3:22Speaker 2: No, well, hold on a second, that's Jake's that's the
- 3:25Speaker 2: dumbest take ever from Jake.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Wait, you're a sunscreen person?
- 3:28Speaker 7: Yeah, hell yeah, I'm not like I am. I'm not
- 3:30Speaker 7: the tough guy walking around being like, yeah, I'm tougher
- 3:32Speaker 7: than the sun. Right, it's just not me.
- 3:35Speaker 2: That's stupid.
- 3:36Speaker 4: But you gotta put something on your skin that is
- 3:38Speaker 4: tougher than the sun.
- 3:40Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 3:41Speaker 8: See, I'm one of those people that don't care about
- 3:43Speaker 8: the last thing effects. It doesn't burn me. Now, I'm
- 3:45Speaker 8: good with it. I'll live with the others.
- 3:48Speaker 6: Good for you, says the two pasty guys in here.
- 3:51Speaker 6: I got a little all right, milky, trying.
- 3:54Speaker 7: To protect this protect the skin, bro, all right, Casper,
- 3:58Speaker 7: I told you I'm living at one twenty. Got protect
- 4:01Speaker 7: the skin, got the sunspots, the sunburn. I that's what
- 4:06Speaker 7: I'm saying.
- 4:09Speaker 2: You can't do. You're gonna have that weird looking skin.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Look leather, leather, Yeah, I can't do that.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Leather faced Jacob, leather and weathered. I'm fine with that.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah, good weather and eating out of a straw.
- 4:24Speaker 4: That's right. At sixty five? Do you remember? And I
- 4:28Speaker 4: do want to get to the College Football Hall of Fame.
- 4:31Speaker 6: They've got some nominees and we played against some of
- 4:33Speaker 6: these guys. You might have played with some of them,
- 4:36Speaker 6: so I do want to get there. But do you remember,
- 4:40Speaker 6: like when you like, are you JaMarcus Imri and whoever
- 4:43Speaker 6: would throw a pass late over the middle and Saban
- 4:47Speaker 6: which just like.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I didn't say a lot. Hey Flynn, you're.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Gonna have Dwayne Bow eating out of a straw. Stop.
- 4:58Speaker 4: You're gonna have to write miss a letter, dear miss Bo.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Dwayne was a good boy, but I decided to throw
- 5:05Speaker 4: laid over the middle and ended it all.
- 5:10Speaker 7: That's such a good I don't remember it because I
- 5:13Speaker 7: kind of block a lot of those things.
- 5:14Speaker 4: You probably had jim.
- 5:24Speaker 6: Stretch that would he used to I mean saving it
- 5:27Speaker 6: because you know I'd be back there, I'd be back
- 5:29Speaker 6: there in the back and I'd be like, man, this
- 5:31Speaker 6: guy's he.
- 5:32Speaker 7: Didn't say a lot to quarterbacks. He did fantas. He
- 5:34Speaker 7: let Jimbo do his.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Thing, and he was very good about that.
- 5:37Speaker 6: But if you threw late over the middle, that's really
- 5:40Speaker 6: the only time I remember him ever saying anything to.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Y'all that throwing late over the middle and then in
- 5:49Speaker 7: practice having an unrealistic time and holding onto the ball
- 5:52Speaker 7: too long.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It's like, you know, you're not gonna have that red
- 5:55Speaker 2: jersey on in the game.
- 5:57Speaker 7: And so we me and Marcus were it was a
- 6:00Speaker 7: first year, is our first spring training. So it was
- 6:01Speaker 7: right after the three championship. So like Saban's got a
- 6:04Speaker 7: big time like job on his hand trying to bring
- 6:07Speaker 7: everybody like back down to earth. So like I remember
- 6:09Speaker 7: that spring after the three National championship was a hell,
- 6:14Speaker 7: like it was the off season program like destroyed us,
- 6:19Speaker 7: Like he wanted to make sure that we.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Even that summer. When I got here, I was like,
- 6:23Speaker 4: are y'all mad? Like what happened?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Did we win? It's kind of wiome.
- 6:27Speaker 4: That's that's the Benning Brazil story that we always tell.
- 6:29Speaker 7: Right, but you could tell the Saban was like, all right,
- 6:33Speaker 7: we have to basically destroy these guys so they don't
- 6:36Speaker 7: ride the coattails. They have to get rid of the
- 6:38Speaker 7: three national blah blah blah. Anyway, we go out to
- 6:40Speaker 7: a scrimmage and he is crushing us for holding onto
- 6:44Speaker 7: the ball too long.
- 6:46Speaker 2: He's like, you're just yelling a us red jersey, red jersey,
- 6:48Speaker 2: red jersey. I'm going to take that red jersey off you. Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 2: well he did. We had a scrimmage, took that red.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Jersey office, put a white one on, he said, put.
- 6:57Speaker 2: A white one on. These quarterbacks are live, he said.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Hit all of y'all are just like the young guys.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Marcus Randall, Oh a ja Marcus.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Wow.
- 7:05Speaker 7: Now I don't think Marcus played quite as much as
- 7:07Speaker 7: you know he think me Marcus, and they're pretty good. Yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 7: and that was you know, Marcus, Marcus Spears was coming
- 7:12Speaker 7: into a senior year and yeah, we got lit up
- 7:15Speaker 7: multiple times, but you know, point taking nick point taken.
- 7:20Speaker 7: So instead of throwing it late across the middle, I
- 7:23Speaker 7: just you know it early across the medal, get it up.
- 7:25Speaker 2: To the other probably a pick. I don't know, to
- 7:28Speaker 2: the other team that the same team.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Gosh, I do.
- 7:31Speaker 6: I do remember him giving Jimbo the ability to basically
- 7:35Speaker 6: be the head coach of the offense. Like he didn't
- 7:38Speaker 6: deal with coach Saban a lot. Now I had to
- 7:40Speaker 6: because in two thousand and four it was a weird deal.
- 7:44Speaker 6: I was starting fullback on the offense, but when the
- 7:48Speaker 6: twos were going on offense, I had to run over
- 7:51Speaker 6: to the other field to be the scout team running
- 7:54Speaker 6: back because we didn't like, we didn't have any young
- 7:57Speaker 6: running backs really because like you know, JB just came
- 7:59Speaker 6: up for a big year. He was a sophomore, Joe
- 8:02Speaker 6: was a junior, Shy Own was a junior senior.
- 8:04Speaker 4: I can't really remember.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Ali was a sophomore, and so you know, and those
- 8:08Speaker 6: guys were getting reps at running back with all four
- 8:11Speaker 6: so four, so I'd get my my first team reps
- 8:14Speaker 6: with fullback and then Saban you know, you know, he
- 8:17Speaker 6: has nickname for me, like Hey, stubby legs, get your
- 8:21Speaker 6: ass over here, and I'm like yes, and so I'd
- 8:25Speaker 6: go over there and I'd have to like but for
- 8:28Speaker 6: me in my mindset, like a lot of people with
- 8:30Speaker 6: the scout team, like a scout team. But I knew
- 8:33Speaker 6: if I wanted to ever play running back, man I
- 8:35Speaker 6: gotta show Bobi's gotta spin over here, right if he
- 8:40Speaker 6: wants to say, hey, look at that run, or it's
- 8:42Speaker 6: a nice run, all right, maybe he can't play running back.
- 8:44Speaker 4: And so man, I had to give like max max effort.
- 8:47Speaker 6: I my first like three weeks, I was questioning, am
- 8:52Speaker 6: I built for this?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Well? No, that's the answer. Built it?
- 8:56Speaker 4: Can I do? Can I? Can I be a freshman,
- 8:58Speaker 4: true freshman, no red shirt?
- 9:01Speaker 6: Start at fullback over here, learn all this stuff right,
- 9:04Speaker 6: and then go over here and also do scout team
- 9:06Speaker 6: and give maximum effort over here too, and still be
- 9:09Speaker 6: alive to tell the tale.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That you had to have been in like great shape
- 9:13Speaker 2: though after two weeks I was.
- 9:15Speaker 6: But that was another problem though, because we were trying
- 9:18Speaker 6: to gain weight. Matha was trying to put pounds on
- 9:21Speaker 6: me and you know that's impossible, Yes, sir?
- 9:24Speaker 4: Why you underweight? Tommy?
- 9:27Speaker 2: I mean locked the coach. That was something.
- 9:32Speaker 7: So that was the year James Coley run the scout team.
- 9:35Speaker 7: So James Coley went on to I don't know where
- 9:37Speaker 7: he is now, but like offensive quarter.
- 9:38Speaker 2: At Florida State.
- 9:39Speaker 7: He's been everywhere, but he was a he was from
- 9:42Speaker 7: Miami and he was our GA that year that Jimbo
- 9:45Speaker 7: had brought in. And so the main offensive GA runs
- 9:48Speaker 7: the scout team. And by running the scout team means
- 9:50Speaker 7: like you're in the huddle with the whole team. So
- 9:52Speaker 7: the offense, we're not running our plays. No, he holds
- 9:56Speaker 7: up a card that shows everybody where to go, shows
- 9:58Speaker 7: the routes they run, show the block in the and
- 10:00Speaker 7: then you know, ready break. And James Coley was one
- 10:04Speaker 7: of the only dudes on a scout team that brought.
- 10:07Speaker 4: The juice, Oh let's go.
- 10:09Speaker 7: And so we would talk trash to the defense and
- 10:11Speaker 7: it was but you're right on the scout team and
- 10:14Speaker 7: you talk very experience. Had a lot of years playing
- 10:17Speaker 7: scout team in both levels, right, it is like your
- 10:21Speaker 7: opportunity to show the coaches what you can do.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I remember, like, so.
- 10:26Speaker 7: You get you'd watch this, uh, you'd get the card
- 10:29Speaker 7: put up in front of you and the defensive coaches
- 10:32Speaker 7: and always wanted you to throw it to.
- 10:34Speaker 2: A specific guy.
- 10:36Speaker 7: They went, they'd have like a like a smash concept,
- 10:39Speaker 7: so a hitch on the outside with the corner above
- 10:40Speaker 7: a you know, it's a high low concept type of path.
- 10:43Speaker 2: So they're like, all right.
- 10:45Speaker 7: We're gonna run the smash concept, throw three steps and
- 10:48Speaker 7: throw to the hitch.
- 10:49Speaker 2: He'said, that's what they did on film. They threw to
- 10:50Speaker 2: the hitch on film. And I'm like, all right.
- 10:52Speaker 7: So I go out there, set hut and they're playing
- 10:55Speaker 7: cover two and cover two means they have like a
- 10:57Speaker 7: rolled up corner and the hitch is never going to
- 10:59Speaker 7: be open. But it's a lockeditch because you have a
- 11:01Speaker 7: corner of it. So I throw the corner and I
- 11:03Speaker 7: complete it against the starters. Yeah, and the defensive coaches
- 11:06Speaker 7: and what are you going?
- 11:08Speaker 4: Followed dir actions, I told you to throw the damn hedge.
- 11:12Speaker 7: And I'm like, I but like, but but I hit it.
- 11:16Speaker 7: There's a touchdown. I'm sorry. Do you think David Green,
- 11:21Speaker 7: David Green's gonna throw the hitch?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Jason Campbell, you can't throw it. You gonna throw the hitch?
- 11:26Speaker 2: I used to piss defensive coach.
- 11:28Speaker 7: Especially when you take a lot to get mass, especially
- 11:31Speaker 7: like when I was like more established to at L
- 11:34Speaker 7: s U. You know, after the peach Ball, I was
- 11:37Speaker 7: still the Scout Team quarterback.
- 11:40Speaker 4: You and Bo Polini then are going at.
- 11:41Speaker 7: It, going at it the best was like in the NFL,
- 11:43Speaker 7: ME and Gus Bradley and he was a defensive coordator
- 11:46Speaker 7: in saddle were a little bit talk, so much mess
- 11:49Speaker 7: to each other. I hate to jump from my yellow
- 11:52Speaker 7: shoe to that, but it is one one really good story.
- 11:55Speaker 7: So Pete Carroll and Seattle, he had this, uh turnover
- 11:59Speaker 7: I think it's turnover Wednesday or turnover Thursday. Yeah, turnover
- 12:02Speaker 7: Thursday where he would count. He would count like the
- 12:06Speaker 7: offenses the offense won this week, and it would be
- 12:09Speaker 7: a big deal. He'd celebrate it the next day like
- 12:11Speaker 7: if but he counted Scout Team and I didn't. We
- 12:14Speaker 7: didn't realize this. So there were like week four or
- 12:16Speaker 7: five and like Scout Team, you throw picks because this
- 12:20Speaker 7: is the rep. I know you got to read it,
- 12:21Speaker 7: but I really want you to throw this because I
- 12:22Speaker 7: want to see how my mic linebacker trails. But of course,
- 12:25Speaker 7: like Earl Thomas is up there, he's just like reading
- 12:27Speaker 7: eyes and so you throw picks and Scout team that's
- 12:29Speaker 7: just the nature of the beast. The next day, like, oh,
- 12:35Speaker 7: the offense lost because the defense got a pick in
- 12:38Speaker 7: this drill. I'm like, I I got you, I got
- 12:42Speaker 7: you this. This is like a competition, your counting scout
- 12:45Speaker 7: team here. So the next day I come out and
- 12:48Speaker 7: of course on offense where we don't do them our
- 12:52Speaker 7: offense for scout team, you're not gonna throw picking that.
- 12:54Speaker 7: So I go back, I drop back and I take
- 12:56Speaker 7: all my dump passes. I'm taking checkdowns and if it's
- 12:59Speaker 7: not open, I threw it fifty yards out of mounds.
- 13:02Speaker 7: Out of mounds. Yeah, And the secondary coach would be
- 13:06Speaker 7: come up to me and he's like, man, I gotta
- 13:07Speaker 7: have I gotta see my guy defend this route.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I'm like, I got you, said hut into the lake
- 13:15Speaker 2: total PRAC and Gus Bradley he's walking around, he's looking
- 13:20Speaker 2: at him. He's like, all right, let's see you. I'm like, Gus,
- 13:22Speaker 2: what's up, dude, you can't get a pick? Y'all suck?
- 13:26Speaker 2: This is like yeah, so like we're talking trash and
- 13:29Speaker 2: blah blah blah.
- 13:31Speaker 7: So this goes on for multiple weeks, and of course
- 13:32Speaker 7: we were winning, like every week the offense is winning,
- 13:35Speaker 7: and uh, I look over one time and Gus Bradley's
- 13:38Speaker 7: walking by and like seven on seven he walks behind
- 13:40Speaker 7: the linebackers and he holds up a piece of paper
- 13:42Speaker 7: and it says, f you Flynn.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I was like mad respect for you, buddy. Yeah, but
- 13:51Speaker 2: it was good. It was.
- 13:52Speaker 7: But that's you know, that's a little trip down memory
- 13:55Speaker 7: lane from my skelet team stuff.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Man ol P. Carroll, he h Yeah, he definitely loved
- 13:58Speaker 4: the raw ross stuff.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It was funny.
- 14:00Speaker 7: I mean, I get it like in training camp practice,
- 14:02Speaker 7: but yeah, scout team, I'm thirty.
- 14:05Speaker 10: I got a couple of kids at the house, not
- 14:07Speaker 10: really into competition. Wednesday, Hey dB coach who is younger
- 14:13Speaker 10: than me. I'm not gonna say yeah, no, I'm gonna
- 14:16Speaker 10: read it. Oh and if it's not the right I'm
- 14:17Speaker 10: gonna slide my protection so you don't have a free
- 14:20Speaker 10: runner in my face.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, that was fun. Gus Bradley is the man
- 14:25Speaker 2: that did y'all have that guy real quick?
- 14:27Speaker 4: Did y'all practice against teams in Seattle and camp?
- 14:31Speaker 7: No, I never had never was part of a training camp,
- 14:34Speaker 7: thankfully where we practiced against it.
- 14:35Speaker 6: We Practicegainst Dallas every year because they were in Oxnard
- 14:38Speaker 6: and we were in San Diego, and it was like
- 14:40Speaker 6: a little train ride.
- 14:41Speaker 7: When I was in New England, I think we were
- 14:43Speaker 7: going up to practice with someone, like the week I
- 14:45Speaker 7: got cut, and I think the following week they were
- 14:47Speaker 7: going up for like week two of training camp to
- 14:49Speaker 7: practice with somebody.
- 14:51Speaker 6: I'm not gonna get too far, but like those practices
- 14:54Speaker 6: every period, so you got twelve thirteen periods in a
- 14:57Speaker 6: practice inside run seven on seven, team blitz pick like
- 15:01Speaker 6: all that. Right, It's it's like a game rep every
- 15:04Speaker 6: rep because you're going against another NFL player from another team.
- 15:07Speaker 4: There's no brother in law deal. You know, it's full four.
- 15:11Speaker 6: It's ready to like you're you know, either you're established
- 15:14Speaker 6: and you're trying to you know, be the alpha to
- 15:16Speaker 6: the other team, or you're trying to make a team.
- 15:18Speaker 7: And most people, forget, fifty percent of the people on
- 15:21Speaker 7: both rosters are rookies trying to make it.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Yeah, oh for sure, Yeah, not like only like thirty
- 15:27Speaker 6: thirty five people out of you know, however many are there.
- 15:30Speaker 7: Yeah, are eighties established that so most people are either second, third,
- 15:34Speaker 7: fourth year guys trying to grind or get off practice squad,
- 15:38Speaker 7: or for rookies because you carry eighty eighty five to camp,
- 15:41Speaker 7: I believe, so most of them are people that are
- 15:43Speaker 7: out there that cannot afford to take a place.
- 15:46Speaker 6: I don't know if you'll remember this name. I think
- 15:48Speaker 6: I know Taytay will remember this name because he's a
- 15:50Speaker 6: Cowboys fan. But they had a linebacker, Sean Lee played
- 15:54Speaker 6: for Penn State. I mean, just the ultimate white guy linebacker,
- 15:57Speaker 6: ultimate meathead. Like you're like, hey, create me, yeah mead
- 16:00Speaker 6: heead white linebacker out of the Big ten, Shon Lee.
- 16:03Speaker 6: And we're practicing against Dallas, and I think this one
- 16:06Speaker 6: was actually down in Dallas because we were playing them
- 16:08Speaker 6: in the preseason. After that, that's another thing, like you
- 16:10Speaker 6: practice all week getting seventy three fights, and then you
- 16:13Speaker 6: play them on the weekend in the preseason. But I
- 16:17Speaker 6: have never seen somebody have total disregard for their body
- 16:20Speaker 6: like Sean Lee. And that's why you always got hurt.
- 16:23Speaker 6: He can never he can.
- 16:26Speaker 7: He retired because of like a neck injury. I think
- 16:29Speaker 7: he's one of those guys that, like you hated the
- 16:31Speaker 7: linemen and running backs. Hated because of his motor just never.
- 16:33Speaker 7: He just played past the whistle type of guy.
- 16:36Speaker 6: Oh man, and I just remember we're doing like half
- 16:39Speaker 6: line drill, like half line run, like twenty thirty ISO,
- 16:43Speaker 6: like me versus you. Like he's just like bowl in
- 16:45Speaker 6: the ring, and we're just just over and over again.
- 16:49Speaker 6: I'm just like, all right, man, all right, here we go.
- 16:51Speaker 6: It's gonna do it again. And then finally Nora's like, hey, Randy,
- 16:56Speaker 6: Randy McMichael, get in there at full back. Randy hated
- 16:58Speaker 6: full back. He couldn't stand it. It's like I'm a
- 17:01Speaker 6: tight end.
- 17:02Speaker 4: What am I doing?
- 17:02Speaker 6: And Sean Lee was in there and Randy's like, I
- 17:05Speaker 6: ain't doing it, Like what, I ain't going against that
- 17:07Speaker 6: crazy ass white boy.
- 17:08Speaker 2: You need to get him out of there.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I'm not going against this guy.
- 17:12Speaker 6: This guy thinks right now we're playing in the super Bowl.
- 17:14Speaker 6: I'm in year thirteen or whatever it is. Get him
- 17:17Speaker 6: out of here or I'm.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Not going I mean, he's straight up, he's like, I
- 17:20Speaker 4: ain't going.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'll cut his ass.
- 17:21Speaker 6: He's like, hester you want to get back in here,
- 17:23Speaker 6: you can. I'm not doing that because he's like a
- 17:27Speaker 6: white man. That's the tempo that Sean Lee practiced at.
- 17:30Speaker 6: And my guy and Randy's like a tough guy, so
- 17:32Speaker 6: it wasn't that He's just like, dude, I'm in year eleven,
- 17:35Speaker 6: I'm established, I'm a tight end. Y'all want me to
- 17:37Speaker 6: play f I'm not really about that life. He stopped
- 17:40Speaker 6: the practice, like you get this crazy ass white boy
- 17:42Speaker 6: out of here.
- 17:43Speaker 4: I'm not doing it. That's so not doing it.
- 17:45Speaker 7: And Sean Lee like we're looking at this picture right here,
- 17:47Speaker 7: like he was well built and pretty bad.
- 17:50Speaker 2: He wasn't big enough to nothing like that.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Like, no, his body wasn't built for how he played.
- 17:55Speaker 6: And I respect the hella, oh for sure, because he's like,
- 17:57Speaker 6: I'm going to get vested barely. They're barely gonna get vested.
- 18:01Speaker 6: Not because I can't play, but because my body can't
- 18:04Speaker 6: keep up with how I play.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I ain't here for a long time. I'm here for
- 18:08Speaker 2: a good time.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And that's what Sean Lee absolutely was.
- 18:11Speaker 6: All right, when we come back, I do want to
- 18:13Speaker 6: get into some of the College Football Hall of Fame
- 18:16Speaker 6: just because we played against with some of these players
- 18:18Speaker 6: that are going in the Hall of Fame. It tells
- 18:19Speaker 6: us a couple of things. One they were good players too.
- 18:21Speaker 6: We're getting old and we'll come back more otb ffter

- 19:58Speaker 4: Hit, certified hit.
- 20:02Speaker 5: I don't play enough Lenny Kravitz on here, The world didn't.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Play enough Lenny Like, is he a vampire?
- 20:08Speaker 5: He still looks great, So I'm saying is a vampire
- 20:10Speaker 5: he might be?
- 20:11Speaker 2: Do we all feel that way that the world doesn't
- 20:13Speaker 2: play enough? Why? I?
- 20:16Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 20:18Speaker 4: You don't hear like He's got like solid, solid songs,
- 20:22Speaker 4: but you don't ever hear them. It's a good point
- 20:25Speaker 4: somebody else with five or.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Six solid songs. Where are you gonna hear hear him?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Where are you gonna hear it?
- 20:28Speaker 9: On Coffee and Flannel Sunday mornings, nine to two on
- 20:31Speaker 9: Eagle ninety eight point one.
- 20:33Speaker 2: True and off the bench.
- 20:35Speaker 4: And that's true, that's true. I understand what you're saying. Like,
- 20:40Speaker 4: what genre does he live in?
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:42Speaker 4: Just a good genre? Pu I mean good good, good
- 20:47Speaker 4: good artists.
- 20:49Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean like this has a are you gonna
- 20:51Speaker 9: go My way is like, Yeah, American Woman's are rock song.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my probably my least favorite one.
- 20:58Speaker 5: American Woman.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Well, sounds like the America. I know, it's a big one.
- 21:03Speaker 7: That's probably the one that's I've probably heard the most. Yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 7: back in the day of the Propets, I probably got.
- 21:07Speaker 2: A little fatigued.
- 21:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I can see why you hadn't listened to.
- 21:10Speaker 2: It a long time.
- 21:10Speaker 4: So I'm saying, like, I have you heard your game? Like,
- 21:12Speaker 4: all right?
- 21:13Speaker 5: I love the outfit he has on in this picture,
- 21:16Speaker 5: probably not a lot of outfit. Obviously no shirt. He
- 21:20Speaker 5: doesn't love the shirts, but he has like these stripe
- 21:23Speaker 5: pants on.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Who hate shirts more Lenny Kravitz or Chris Dorry.
- 21:28Speaker 8: It's a tough, tough that's a toughbbit because I couldn't
- 21:32Speaker 8: see Lenny Kravitz in a suit ever, like, and I've
- 21:35Speaker 8: seen Dorian in it.
- 21:36Speaker 2: True true.
- 21:38Speaker 4: All Right.
- 21:39Speaker 6: College Football Hall of Fame got some nominees here that
- 21:42Speaker 6: I think a lot of us are going to recognize.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Some notable ones here, Cam Newton.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Of course at Auburn, Mark Ingram and Alabama, Robert Griffin
- 21:50Speaker 6: the third at Baylor, and Dominican Sue at Nebraska, Mantiiteo
- 21:54Speaker 6: at Notre Dame, some other names. You got the cow
- 21:57Speaker 6: connection here, little DeShawn Jackson and Marshawn Lynch and Ron Rivera.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Shout out to Ron Rivera, my guy, Johnathan Villma from Miami,
- 22:06Speaker 6: Demico Ryans from Alabama and uh Brad Colepepper from Florida.
- 22:10Speaker 6: But like all those names all obviously it's while they're
- 22:14Speaker 6: here like studs, and we probably got stored. I know,
- 22:16Speaker 6: you get, you know, teammates with Marshawn. I was with
- 22:18Speaker 6: Ron Rivera when he was our DC in San Diego.
- 22:22Speaker 6: But like I played against you know a number of
- 22:25Speaker 6: these guys you did as well. The one that doesn't
- 22:27Speaker 6: get talked about enough because of where his school was
- 22:31Speaker 6: then to where it went kind of directly after him
- 22:35Speaker 6: is Demico Ryans when he was at Alabama. We played
- 22:39Speaker 6: in Tuscaloosa in two thousand and five, and a lot
- 22:42Speaker 6: of people forget because it was pre Saban that that
- 22:46Speaker 6: was a really good football team.
- 22:48Speaker 4: They were undefeated at that point.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Now they lost to US and it also in the
- 22:51Speaker 6: Iron Bowl the next week, and so they finished I
- 22:53Speaker 6: think eight and two, but.
- 22:54Speaker 4: They were undefeated. It was a top ten matchup, and
- 22:58Speaker 4: we went there and won in overtime.
- 23:01Speaker 6: And that defense had you know, Walls, Gilberry, it had
- 23:05Speaker 6: Demiko Ryans, it had Roman Harper.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Was it Shula?
- 23:09Speaker 4: Yeah? Sheula was the head coach.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Man.
- 23:11Speaker 6: That was a good squad that gets completely forgotten about
- 23:14Speaker 6: because then they go on the Alabama run.
- 23:17Speaker 4: But when I say Demiko was one of.
- 23:19Speaker 6: The better college football players that I played against, it's
- 23:23Speaker 6: like he's in the rare air group of like top
- 23:26Speaker 6: five man early two thousands, get your fits right here. No,
- 23:29Speaker 6: it's not who's your tailor, who's your Taylor? The taylor
- 23:33Speaker 6: means a lot.
- 23:34Speaker 7: So like picture pictureko in like a current uniform, Like
- 23:38Speaker 7: how much better like swagger?
- 23:40Speaker 6: Imagine if he had like the same tailor that the
- 23:42Speaker 6: Ravens have, because everybody looks good in the Ravens.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Uniform, You know what I mean?
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:47Speaker 4: I mean that those were some Do you remember that
- 23:50Speaker 4: game in two thousand and five?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Vague vaguely remember that game?
- 23:54Speaker 1: Go?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Who do we we?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Deebo? I think in the end the.
- 23:59Speaker 6: Markets because five oh five five.
- 24:05Speaker 8: Yeah, pretty Croyle Alabama?
- 24:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:08Speaker 6: Brodie Oyle was the Alabama quarterback who would have been
- 24:11Speaker 6: the third Quarterbay, so as Juju Marks and who that year?
- 24:13Speaker 2: No five, nobody, just y'all two.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Uh yeah, because I remember we went into the Peach
- 24:20Speaker 7: Bowl with uh Jimmy Well carry as a backup.
- 24:22Speaker 6: That's true, right, Jimmy Yeah, say Jimmy, Yeah, say Jimmy
- 24:27Speaker 6: A fell.
- 24:29Speaker 7: Yeah that was those quarterback rooms were that we were
- 24:33Speaker 7: part of a wild because there's so much smaller than
- 24:36Speaker 7: quarterback rooms these days. Yeah, it was wild because yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 7: me and JaMarcus were the only scholarship quarterbacks on the on.
- 24:42Speaker 6: The What a dangerous time that was because y'all were
- 24:44Speaker 6: the same age, so if you would have decided to leave,
- 24:48Speaker 6: it would have been Jay Russ and Jimmy Walker.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. I'm gonna get a little vulnerable here. People
- 24:54Speaker 2: almost did.
- 24:55Speaker 4: I don't think that surprises anybody.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I mean not this day and age, but at the time.
- 25:00Speaker 4: No, but even like but like at.
- 25:04Speaker 6: When you played, you played really well, and then you
- 25:06Speaker 6: went to a Peach Bowl against a top ten Miami
- 25:08Speaker 6: team and we diced them up throwing the ball, run
- 25:11Speaker 6: the ball offense.
- 25:12Speaker 7: With see I was thinking, see I'd already been I
- 25:14Speaker 7: think thought about it before the Peach Bowl because of
- 25:17Speaker 7: everything that happened then, but at that time you had
- 25:19Speaker 7: to go, you had to go down.
- 25:20Speaker 6: So I'd have to go to one double A. You
- 25:22Speaker 6: would have to go like Sam Houston c Yeah, you
- 25:23Speaker 6: have to do that for to kind of make your way.
- 25:26Speaker 2: But I mean, look, we both read charted, We're both
- 25:28Speaker 2: the same age, so.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Like what were and he was trending in a good direction,
- 25:32Speaker 4: trended pretty good, pretty good direction.
- 25:34Speaker 7: But like you know, my dumb ass, it's like where
- 25:37Speaker 7: I go to the Peach Bawl and to play well,
- 25:39Speaker 7: I'm like, oh, yeah, I got him.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I can get them, Jimbo.
- 25:42Speaker 6: Jimbo will tell me off the record, on the record
- 25:45Speaker 6: whatever that y'all truly did go into every all season
- 25:48Speaker 6: with it being an open battle, right, I got and
- 25:51Speaker 6: I kind of I believe him. Even when JaMarcus was
- 25:54Speaker 6: playing really really well, like it's still.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Well, that does like make me feel good. But then
- 25:58Speaker 2: it's like, also, man, I lost a lot.
- 26:02Speaker 4: A lot it was over. Uh when did you think
- 26:07Speaker 4: about leaving? It was after the Peach Bowl year.
- 26:10Speaker 7: It was before so it was before the actual Peach Bowl.
- 26:12Speaker 7: It was during that season towards the end of the season.
- 26:14Speaker 7: Is trending what were we we were sophomores, because I
- 26:16Speaker 7: remember at the Peach Bowl like, yeah, we're sophomores.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah, so I was a red strot.
- 26:20Speaker 7: Softomare you're a true sophomore. So I remember like the
- 26:22Speaker 7: week of the Peach Bowl. You're there for a whole week.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I remember.
- 26:25Speaker 7: I didn't have the conversations with it, but like there
- 26:27Speaker 7: were smaller school coaches there talking to my parents and
- 26:32Speaker 7: like talking to stuff like nothing like real serious because
- 26:35Speaker 7: I was about the team. They didn't They didn't schedule
- 26:38Speaker 7: the meetings. They were just there, right, So what at
- 26:43Speaker 7: anything serious is just say, hey, man, you know gives
- 26:45Speaker 7: all thinking about it.
- 26:46Speaker 6: It makes sense. It makes all sense in the world.
- 26:48Speaker 6: I mean obviously what you did against that team. But
- 26:49Speaker 6: then I don't actually know if I still would have
- 26:51Speaker 6: if JaMarcus would have come back after the Sugar Bowl.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Yeah, if Jamus would have come back, I was it
- 26:56Speaker 7: had to because the rules the rules were actually different
- 26:59Speaker 7: at that time. So the rules were you could transfer,
- 27:02Speaker 7: if you graduated, you could you could make a lateral transfer.
- 27:05Speaker 7: So at the time, you know, my academics, I had
- 27:08Speaker 7: like been't really trying to stack the hours leading up
- 27:11Speaker 7: to that, Did you graduate.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yeah didn't did you really? Yes? I did?
- 27:19Speaker 7: Bro all right, all right, four I graduated four and
- 27:23Speaker 7: a half.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Asking Yeah, I just I like, I like the light
- 27:28Speaker 2: load you know, during the season, but.
- 27:30Speaker 4: During that would have been an issue.
- 27:32Speaker 1: So no.
- 27:34Speaker 7: Six, it had to go like a lot of summers,
- 27:36Speaker 7: Jamarus is having his you know, number one overall pick
- 27:40Speaker 7: like type season, and so I'm like, all right, I
- 27:42Speaker 7: got really no options here, like everybody knows. No one's
- 27:47Speaker 7: gonna like fault me for this, right, I got you know,
- 27:49Speaker 7: I remember even like some of the assistants on the
- 27:51Speaker 7: staff or like hey, like you know, I got friends
- 27:54Speaker 7: in different places.
- 27:55Speaker 2: They want to talk, you know, all the all stuff
- 27:57Speaker 2: like that because.
- 27:58Speaker 7: We're all a family, like everyone wants no one wants
- 28:00Speaker 7: to see me like not do anything.
- 28:02Speaker 2: But I'm like, all right, I got to get.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Some hours in.
- 28:05Speaker 7: So I took before the Sugar Bowl when we played
- 28:09Speaker 7: notre Name, I signed up for Winter session.
- 28:12Speaker 2: So winter session is like it's like summer school or
- 28:14Speaker 2: like intercession. So nobody did that.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Yeah, but it's like you cram a whole semester into
- 28:19Speaker 7: two weeks during Christmas break, So I start taking that.
- 28:22Speaker 7: So I think I was doing two classes in that
- 28:24Speaker 7: or something, and then I had I had to schedule
- 28:27Speaker 7: like twenty four hours for the spring or something like that.
- 28:32Speaker 2: My brother, your first three years in code, well, I
- 28:35Speaker 2: mean I still I was going, well that's another segment.
- 28:38Speaker 2: That's a whole other seven.
- 28:40Speaker 7: But we're going and I'm about one week into it
- 28:43Speaker 7: and JA Marcus makes his decision to go out. And
- 28:46Speaker 7: so you know, I've always loved JaMarcus, so I always
- 28:48Speaker 7: give him so much credit on this because you know,
- 28:51Speaker 7: he he he knew the position I was in, certainly,
- 28:54Speaker 7: so he told, you know, his friends, his family, his
- 28:56Speaker 7: agent knew. And then I was one of the first
- 28:59Speaker 7: people he told after that, right, because he knew, Hey, look,
- 29:01Speaker 7: I just want you to know it's your team. Yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 7: after this, I'm gonna go to the draft. So that point, yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 7: I canceled them hours for the spring. I was like
- 29:12Speaker 7: a weekend of winter session.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Did you drop out?
- 29:15Speaker 7: I had an a too, dropped it. Yeah, I just
- 29:17Speaker 7: didn't drop that dropped out on that Yeah, so such
- 29:21Speaker 7: a but then you know, it was one of those
- 29:22Speaker 7: but if but you know, if it didn't happen, you know,
- 29:25Speaker 7: the butterfly effect of everything. Who knows, Yeah, who knows.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Oklahoma, but I got a draft is not always a rumor.
- 29:32Speaker 2: That was a rumor.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Oklahoma, that was a yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 29:37Speaker 7: That's what I probably good that it didn't happen because
- 29:39Speaker 7: Sam Brafford was there. It was gonna be like a
- 29:42Speaker 7: maybe to go there.
- 29:44Speaker 4: God, no, what if you had have gone there.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Like stuck the foot under a car or something to
- 29:50Speaker 2: break it, and yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 6: I get your school paid for. It's like our boy
- 29:56Speaker 6: Jordan Reever, y'all don't know who that is, but my class.
- 30:00Speaker 6: He was a preferred walk on from Garland, Texas, a
- 30:03Speaker 6: good quarterback he had, he had like you know, like
- 30:06Speaker 6: North Texas and you tap and like offers like that.
- 30:10Speaker 6: But he wanted to come to LSU to compete or whatever.
- 30:13Speaker 6: I always, you know, give that an out of boy
- 30:16Speaker 6: for wanting to be competitive. But look he got here
- 30:18Speaker 6: and it was like, oh Man, Flynn, JaMarcus, all these
- 30:21Speaker 6: guys they're young, right, they're only a year ahead of me.
- 30:23Speaker 4: They red shairs that were the same year.
- 30:25Speaker 6: And so he transfers and he goes to Sam Houston
- 30:28Speaker 6: State and you know he's thinking, I'm gonna play right away.
- 30:32Speaker 6: We're gonna go Sam, I'm going down because they weren't.
- 30:34Speaker 6: They're up now, but they were down. The day after
- 30:37Speaker 6: he transfers to sam Houston State, Rett bow Markets kicked
- 30:40Speaker 6: off Oklahoma's football team and goes to sam Houston State.
- 30:45Speaker 7: Rett Omar. For those of y'all that don't remember, don't know,
- 30:47Speaker 7: he was like the number one overall player in high
- 30:50Speaker 7: school football coming out to Oklahoma quarterback. Yeah, didn't pan
- 30:55Speaker 7: out obviously, But.
- 30:56Speaker 6: I wonder what Jordan Reaver's doing right now. I bet
- 30:59Speaker 6: he's He went missing for like three days one time missing.
- 31:04Speaker 6: I don't want to speak slander or anything. He might
- 31:06Speaker 6: be like a politician or something, but he did go
- 31:10Speaker 6: missing for three year for three days because I was
- 31:12Speaker 6: he was.
- 31:13Speaker 2: I was a roommate of his.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Yeah, you was with you, Kyle, him and Peter, Peter
- 31:17Speaker 6: above me, Steltz and Luke during your during your freshman year,
- 31:21Speaker 6: and it was like, yeah, where is Jordan.
- 31:23Speaker 7: We can't see him. We're knocking on his door. No
- 31:25Speaker 7: one's heard from him. Like this guy might be in
- 31:28Speaker 7: Missippi River or something.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 31:30Speaker 7: All of a sudden, one afternoon, he walked out of
- 31:33Speaker 7: his room like rubbing his eyes, like, oh, what's.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Up, guys? That was a good nap.
- 31:37Speaker 4: He was in his room.
- 31:38Speaker 6: We're beating on his door trying to figure out where
- 31:40Speaker 6: he's at, like almost like to the point where you're
- 31:43Speaker 6: gonna call the authorities. It was all seasons, so we
- 31:45Speaker 6: didn't have football activity, but he was just in his room.
- 31:49Speaker 6: I was a little bit of a fun couple of nights.
- 31:51Speaker 7: I was an extremely accomplished sleeper in college. But that
- 31:54Speaker 7: he dominated me.
- 31:55Speaker 2: He did, he did.
- 31:56Speaker 6: I'm going to look up, like where are they now
- 31:58Speaker 6: with Jordan Reaver when we come back. But when we
- 32:01Speaker 6: do come back, we got a little pontuned parlay we're
- 32:04Speaker 6: gonna put together for the super Regionals. We want to
- 32:07Speaker 6: play these Arkansas clips as well, where Flynn through the
- 32:11Speaker 6: shortest hell Mary in the history of hell Mary's.
- 32:13Speaker 4: And we'll do that when we come back here on OTV.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Off the Bench.

- 33:03Speaker 4: eight eight eighty eight eighty eight. Get Gordon and get

- 33:12Speaker 7: they can help you get the most out of what

- 33:15Speaker 2: Two two five eight eight eight eight eight eight eight.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Tell me you just think you'd be all right?
- 33:34Speaker 4: I can just crush you can see how No Sheep.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Locked in on LSU football twenty four to seven. You're
- 33:43Speaker 1: listening to off the bench man, you the best time ever?
- 33:51Speaker 4: All right, what am I getting? OTV?
- 33:52Speaker 6: Let's put together a little pontoon parlay. So the way
- 33:56Speaker 6: we're going to do this, and any objections please let
- 33:59Speaker 6: me know. I will go over the eight super regionals,
- 34:03Speaker 6: and since we've got four of us in here, you
- 34:05Speaker 6: know majority is gonna win out. If it's a split,
- 34:07Speaker 6: we'll have a discussion. But we go over the eight
- 34:10Speaker 6: and then we pick our five favorites. Because you have
- 34:13Speaker 6: to understand, some of these teams are like minus four
- 34:15Speaker 6: hundred win yeah, and move on to Omaha. So if
- 34:18Speaker 6: we do like three minus four hundred teams, guess what,
- 34:20Speaker 6: You're not gonna get paid back a lot, right, Like,
- 34:23Speaker 6: you're probably not even gonna get your money back. So
- 34:25Speaker 6: let's go through the eight. We had all of them,
- 34:27Speaker 6: it's pick some winners, That's what I'm saying. If we
- 34:29Speaker 6: had all of them, but it's gonna be five. We
- 34:31Speaker 6: are though, all right?
- 34:32Speaker 4: In Louisville, do we like the Miami Hurricanes or do
- 34:37Speaker 4: we like the host Louisville Cardinals.
- 34:38Speaker 8: I like Louisville personal I was.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Gonna say, I actually like Louisville in this one.
- 34:41Speaker 8: I know we we talked about Southern Miss like that
- 34:44Speaker 8: was a tough regional. I didn't think Miami was going
- 34:46Speaker 8: to get out of that regional like Louisville.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Coming into the postseason.
- 34:52Speaker 6: Miami got run rule twelve to two by CAL and
- 34:55Speaker 6: the ACC tournament, Cal had a losing record. They limped
- 34:58Speaker 6: into the postseason. They did get down in Hattiesburg. But
- 35:02Speaker 6: I like Louisville as well. They got out of the
- 35:03Speaker 6: Nashville Regional.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Yeah, and they've just had a more consistent Yeah, much more.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Yeah, louisgo thousand percent. They're more hydrated.
- 35:14Speaker 8: This is we appreciate it.
- 35:16Speaker 6: Hey, listen, I'm gonna put a check mark by them
- 35:18Speaker 6: because that does mean something. All right, let's go out
- 35:20Speaker 6: west of Los Angeles, UCLA and the road Runners of
- 35:23Speaker 6: ut Say, who do we like?
- 35:26Speaker 2: So?
- 35:26Speaker 8: I love UTSA. I know we were talking about it
- 35:29Speaker 8: when I was filling in, Like me and Lingerie. Look
- 35:31Speaker 8: at it's like everybody says it's Austin Regional's easy. It's
- 35:34Speaker 8: really not. I mean they've won they're forty seven and thirteen. Yeah,
- 35:37Speaker 8: Ucla is really good. I mean they've won forty five games.
- 35:41Speaker 3: This year.
- 35:42Speaker 8: I like UTSA, but I think I think their luck
- 35:44Speaker 8: runs out.
- 35:45Speaker 6: We got two Texans here in the studio. I am
- 35:48Speaker 6: going to go with the two Texans that we have
- 35:50Speaker 6: beat beat give me the road Runners.
- 35:52Speaker 5: I think I'm gonna go with you. I like UTSA
- 35:54Speaker 5: in this one.
- 35:54Speaker 9: It feels like if you can knock Texas out their
- 35:57Speaker 9: own regional in Austin, you could probably knock UCLA out.
- 36:00Speaker 4: They're really UTSA though, isn't that large team?
- 36:05Speaker 8: Oh yeah, they're really good.
- 36:05Speaker 4: They earn the right really win their conference.
- 36:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 36:09Speaker 5: I kind of have to go with UTSA on this one,
- 36:12Speaker 5: all right, Flynn underd.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Yeah, this one's easy, uh big?
- 36:17Speaker 4: All right?
- 36:18Speaker 2: Okay, because Los Angeles and.
- 36:21Speaker 4: Flynn hates California.
- 36:23Speaker 5: I'm not a Cali person either.
- 36:25Speaker 6: All right, let's go to Corvallis where it's Oregon State
- 36:28Speaker 6: and Florida State eight nine matchup. Remember, Oregon State lost
- 36:33Speaker 6: their first game of their regional and then they put
- 36:35Speaker 6: up football scores to win out. Florida State wins their
- 36:39Speaker 6: regional as well. Beavers versus Seminoles, who do we like?
- 36:42Speaker 9: So I kind of feel like Florida State might have
- 36:46Speaker 9: a bit of an advantage. Advantage over Oregon State even
- 36:49Speaker 9: though it is in Oregon. They have a tougher conference
- 36:54Speaker 9: that they.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Play in Orgon State didn't have a conference.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yeah, although they like petition.
- 37:00Speaker 6: They played seventy five percent of their games on the road.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Oregon State did because of it.
- 37:07Speaker 8: These teams are really I think they're evenly matchup. I'm
- 37:12Speaker 8: only going to Oregon State because they're hosting. Yeah, that's
- 37:15Speaker 8: where I'm at on that.
- 37:18Speaker 4: Glynn.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah, the zero pitches from either one of these.
- 37:25Speaker 4: All right, Elandro.
- 37:27Speaker 5: I kind of want to go Florida State on this one.
- 37:29Speaker 9: But if I'm going to get out ruled, then I
- 37:32Speaker 9: don't hate the Oregon State play.
- 37:33Speaker 8: I mean it's it's a tough one. I'm only going
- 37:35Speaker 8: to Oregon State because they're at home.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Like that's yeah, I'll go to Oregon State too, but
- 37:39Speaker 6: I gotta feel and that's not going to be in
- 37:40Speaker 6: the parlay.
- 37:42Speaker 4: I'll go Florida State.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Then, Uh yeah, your dynamic here Duke and Murray State.
- 37:48Speaker 6: Does Murray State continue on or does the luck run out?
- 37:52Speaker 6: Remember Duke went to Athens and they won that regional.
- 37:56Speaker 6: They were not a host in the regional, but we
- 37:58Speaker 6: all saw what Murray State it in Oxford.
- 38:00Speaker 4: That's four seed.
- 38:03Speaker 8: I don't know because I mean me and Landre we
- 38:05Speaker 8: we really thought Georgia I had one of the easy regionals.
- 38:08Speaker 8: I mean we were talking about it and Duke surprised everybody. Yeah,
- 38:11Speaker 8: Murray State looks so good.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I don't know too much about you want to do it.
- 38:18Speaker 4: We gotta get some juice here somehow.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I want the.
- 38:23Speaker 4: Fourteen coaching them boys.
- 38:25Speaker 5: On the dimes.
- 38:26Speaker 4: A doesn't have juice to it some Yeah, for sure.
- 38:28Speaker 2: If you can't cheer for the team that knocked don't
- 38:30Speaker 2: miss out, then what are we doing?
- 38:31Speaker 6: Very fair fair h l s u duh duh, All right, Okay, Uh,
- 38:38Speaker 6: you want to go West Virginia?
- 38:39Speaker 2: Nope, just kidding.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Uh.
- 38:41Speaker 4: North Carolina and Arizona not like North Carolina. Carolina seems hot.
- 38:46Speaker 5: They are both hot and really well.
- 38:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I'll go North Carolina and Arizona is really good baseball.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I'm gonna go you and see because they're one of
- 38:54Speaker 5: my favorites to win it.
- 38:55Speaker 6: Okay, and it feels like they're on the verge of
- 38:59Speaker 6: taking another their step in their baseball program. Yeah, like direction,
- 39:03Speaker 6: and I think this win will get them to that step.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Get back to in Hall.
- 39:06Speaker 2: The Arizona Wildcats bear.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Down hydrated Auburn versus Coastal Carolina.
- 39:13Speaker 5: This one's also tough.
- 39:14Speaker 8: I actually think I like Coastal Carolina.
- 39:16Speaker 9: Scoil is very hot right now, and I think I
- 39:20Speaker 9: like them overalls.
- 39:21Speaker 8: Well they've been they've been hot. It looks really good
- 39:24Speaker 8: in the regional. There's one team in the Supers that
- 39:27Speaker 8: is won over fifty games, and it's Coastal Carolina.
- 39:30Speaker 6: They know how to win the fighting. Mike Tolbert's my guy.
- 39:33Speaker 6: I'm going Coastal Hansole so hot right now.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Yeah, do you know what? Do you know what Coastal's
- 39:39Speaker 4: mascot is?
- 39:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a little bird I'm looking at right there,
- 39:41Speaker 2: which is the what is it?
- 39:44Speaker 8: The sea bird?
- 39:45Speaker 2: Coastal bird?
- 39:47Speaker 4: Ospray chant the clear anyway?
- 39:50Speaker 2: Like what is that?
- 39:51Speaker 1: I mean?
- 39:51Speaker 8: Okay, so I shot to clear. It was like, no,
- 39:54Speaker 8: this is not a joke. It's like an aggressive rooster.
- 39:58Speaker 6: All right, Okay, I'm gonna go with Auburn because it
- 40:02Speaker 6: just means more gross, all right. Peter Burns, Arkansas, Tennessee.
- 40:08Speaker 2: What a compliment, Thank you.
- 40:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna go Arkansas.
- 40:14Speaker 8: They're hosting the Tennessee got hot.
- 40:19Speaker 4: That's what you can be doing.
- 40:20Speaker 5: More solid team than Tennessee.
- 40:23Speaker 8: Tennessee got hot. Arkansas has been a little bit more
- 40:25Speaker 8: consistent YI brothers.
- 40:27Speaker 6: Tennessee is more worried about, you know, the swag and
- 40:31Speaker 6: looking cool, which is fine, like whatever, whatever, But Arkansas
- 40:36Speaker 6: feels like the complete opposite of that.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I think Arkansas wins.
- 40:39Speaker 5: Yeah, give me Arkansas.
- 40:41Speaker 4: Flynn loves the flair.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I do, and they're hydrated. Let's go Tennessee.
- 40:46Speaker 5: I don't hate flair, but they do it in a
- 40:48Speaker 5: way that I don't like.
- 40:49Speaker 4: All Right, So who's like? Okay, so who's hydrated?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Here?
- 40:52Speaker 4: We are about half okay? So is Louisville hydrated?
- 40:55Speaker 2: Y U?
- 40:55Speaker 6: T s A Yes, okay, Oregon State Murray stately kind
- 41:02Speaker 6: of look LSU, Yeah, you and c Arizona, Oh Coastal Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Man, Okay, you're HYDRATINGTNS.
- 41:17Speaker 6: So, Louisville, UTSA, and LSU are the three hydrated teams
- 41:21Speaker 6: from our picks. We'll put that together and see what
- 41:24Speaker 6: kind of odds we get if we parlay those.
- 41:26Speaker 5: Three times high teams.
- 41:27Speaker 4: My high three team parlay.
- 41:29Speaker 6: Okay, we'll see if it hits When we come back
- 41:32Speaker 6: to wrap up our number two, we get the hell Mary.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Heard around the world.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Okay, I was like, you're gonna finish this or something.
- 41:44Speaker 4: That's what I was looking for.
- 41:44Speaker 2: We didn't even practice that, I know. Can we just
- 41:46Speaker 2: become best friends?
- 41:48Speaker 4: I hope. So I've been doing this for two decades together,
- 41:51Speaker 4: all right? What off the bank?
- 41:56Speaker 6: Actually more than two decades, twenty one years, twenty one

- 43:25Speaker 4: And here is a play that I don't remember.
- 43:28Speaker 6: Nobody remembers except the guy who threw it twenty yards
- 43:32Speaker 6: on a pass that I was supposed to be at
- 43:34Speaker 6: least fifty. Here is Matthew Clayton Flynn trying to throw
- 43:38Speaker 6: it as far as he can.
- 43:39Speaker 2: And that was a twenty one twenty victory. And here
- 43:42Speaker 2: for the alley oop is Matt Flynn.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Paincake block on your bod. He's got three receivers one
- 43:51Speaker 4: in there. I mean it was incomplete. It was bad going.
- 43:55Speaker 4: It was bad. Don't try, don't win, don't win, go back,
- 43:59Speaker 4: go back.
- 44:00Speaker 2: You don't have to say saving face a little bit.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Don't win. You threw that ball thirty yards, roll that back.
- 44:06Speaker 2: It went at least thirty.
- 44:08Speaker 7: I actually, in my memory bank, I thought it went
- 44:10Speaker 7: twenty so I'm pretty not bad.
- 44:13Speaker 2: That was really good.
- 44:14Speaker 6: But I bet Look, I'm just saying this is kind
- 44:16Speaker 6: of like this is a this is a razor type play,
- 44:19Speaker 6: because watch it was just like a sprint, right, so
- 44:21Speaker 6: I've got the edge. I'm just saying, watch where the
- 44:24Speaker 6: defensive lineman that I ended up, Watch his agility right
- 44:28Speaker 6: to the ground.
- 44:30Speaker 4: I don't care about that. I care about me, pancake
- 44:32Speaker 4: and the edge rusher there.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I wasn't even looking at you. Anyone could blindside somebody blindside.
- 44:37Speaker 4: I was engaged the whole time. So not only did I.
- 44:39Speaker 6: Get God, he's in trouble, look at this trouble because
- 44:43Speaker 6: he threw a twenty seven yard hill.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Marriage and I got hit. All right, what is Carnell
- 44:48Speaker 2: doing just out there? Just go back? Put my wife
- 44:51Speaker 2: on the line for you guys.
- 44:52Speaker 6: Like, what's Carneal doing? Because I take over his guy
- 44:56Speaker 6: and he's just patrolling the area.
- 44:58Speaker 7: Well that's what he did. I don't like what that's
- 45:00Speaker 7: kind of the job. I think that's actually a coaching point.
- 45:04Speaker 7: Out there there, patrol.
- 45:05Speaker 4: The area, arms up, patrol in the area.
- 45:08Speaker 7: Hey shot, But I guarantee NFL scouts watching right there,
- 45:12Speaker 7: arm stringth minus minus arm. What it's always so stupid.

- 45:45Speaker 7: holy arm. It's called a fanny pack crossbody.
