- 0:23Welcome inside the Treehouse. Time to leave your worries outside. Join me Daniel
- 0:29Maley, Trey Trendholm, and Raj Sharma on once again a very special Friday
- 0:37episode of the Treehouse. You know, I've loved singing Friday for many many
- 0:43years now from our days on the radio, and I have renewed joy in
- 0:49doing it now because Raj, it makes you smile and laugh every single week.
- 0:53And and I just want you to know I thank you. I not
- 0:58only as we mentioned in as we will mention on the Patreon the Treehouse Plus
- 1:03episode, I am not only fueled on coffee and spite, but also positive
- 1:10reinforcement. That's a very interesting it's a very interesting smoothie you make there,
- 1:15buddy, coffee Spie add some positive positive energy. I really it's it's coffee
- 1:22SPI tell me I'm pretty, and it's gonna taste weird, but it'll it'll
- 1:26get me through the day. But it's the way, it's the it's the
- 1:30it's the emotion, like the way it's from the it's from your heart when
- 1:33you when you sing the Friday, and it just makes it just makes me
- 1:36happy every time you do it. Speaking of things that make you happy?
- 1:41Is is Bob Ross one of those entities, one of those people, one
- 1:45of those things, one of those shows that that makes you happy? Because
- 1:49when I think of Bob Ross, it it warms my heart a bit.
- 1:52What about you, Raj? I? It always did, And then I
- 1:56found out, like you know, with the movie, like he was this
- 1:59badass, army dude, and I'm like, now I can't unsee that.
- 2:01So when I was like, hey, let's just put a happy tree right
- 2:04here, I'm like, I'm also like, how many people did he kill?
- 2:07Like like, you know what, Raj, It's it's funny you mentioned
- 2:10that because I saw something the other day that I also cannot unsee, And
- 2:15because I cannot unsee it, I'm going to show it to YouTube. And
- 2:19that is a good old fashioned you know, call it a meme, call
- 2:23it whatever the hell you want to call it. But that is a photo
- 2:25of Bob Ross with a with one of the medium brushes in front of one
- 2:29of his paintings, smiling, of course, as he does with the caption
- 2:34above it. What if Bob Ross was a serial killer and his paintings are
- 2:38of locations where he hid the bodies? Oh yeah, you know what that
- 2:45would be, and I saw this the other it was a it was a
- 2:50week ago. Thank you Charlie Wheeler, Thank you for posting that. It's
- 2:53one of our one of our follows, Yeah, one of our listeners.
- 2:57And I have not been able to get it out of my head ever since
- 3:00because the other reason I've always enjoyed Bob Ross is because my grandmother, may
- 3:04she rest in peace, was a huge Bob Ross fan, so much so
- 3:07she had turned that into one of her many get rich schemes that she had
- 3:09attempted throughout her life. I swear to god, my grandmother was kind of
- 3:14her own eighties sitcom character at times. Really, she and my aunt and
- 3:19occasionally my mom would try to do things and start up little businesses that they
- 3:23think would catapult them to riches, and of course none of them worked.
- 3:28And the ultimate irony on all of that is all three of those women,
- 3:34my mother, my aunt, and my grandmother all advanced degrees. Me didn't
- 3:38even finish college. And I think I was the most successful one. And
- 3:44that's not exactly bragging anyway. What was the get rich quick scheme that she
- 3:49had for Bobby? So she was she took the Bob Ross classes that were
- 3:53available back in the day. She bought all the Bob Ross paints from Michael's
- 3:58on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, and all the materials, all the stuff.
- 4:03She watched Bob Ross every day. She got some of the videos in case
- 4:08that she wanted to go back and watch other ones, and she would paint
- 4:11along with Bob Ross on the kitchen table as she watched from the TV from
- 4:15the living room. Okay, and there was there was a time I even
- 4:19did a couple of them with her. So when I see Bob Ross,
- 4:21I also think of my grandmother. So was your grandmother trying to like reproduce
- 4:26Bob Ross and sell them as Bob rob Ross originals? No, no,
- 4:29no, no, no no. She was selling them Bernice, like she's
- 4:33signing them Bernice. And uh, now that I think about it, I
- 4:38think it would have been a better angle for her to sign it Bob Ross
- 4:41and tried to sell them as Bob Ross originals. Instead, they looked more
- 4:46like Bob Ross abstract to somewhere impressionist, because he makes it look really really
- 4:53easy in it. It's in fact not. But yeah, so I think
- 4:59she was thinking that she'd paint these Bob Ross paintings, and then that she
- 5:02would then be able to go sell them and she'd you know, be Van
- 5:04go or something. There was another thing where she and my aunt and my
- 5:08mom all teamed up to do uh sweaters. And what they did was they
- 5:13took sweatshirts. They would they would cut them up the middle, yeah,
- 5:17and then and then go to and get fabric and line the fabric around the
- 5:23neck and down the front, and then decorate it with some you know,
- 5:27glitter and things like that. So it would be now it's like a sweatshirt,
- 5:30sweatshirt jacket that they have repurposed, and they would take to Canton and
- 5:35sell. Did they did? They? Did? They? Sray? I
- 5:39love the look on your face. That was. That was the look I
- 5:40had on my face when I was twelve years old and they started up this
- 5:43cock. It made me business in the room next to the garage. Yeah.
- 5:46And now every time you start talking about that out here is like bump,
- 5:56except it was. It was like a mashup of Sandford and Son and
- 5:58Golden Girls. All I keep thinking about is, you know, a little
- 6:02you know, young jan watching you know, Bob Ross, and then all
- 6:05of a sudden, you know, deciding he's a gonna go through his abstract
- 6:11phase, and you know, he's painting his tree and then you know,
- 6:15the trees got like dildos for branches, and I just picture Dan's like,
- 6:21you know I need my are we painting today? Yeah? I have to
- 6:26have my sweatshirt sweater. Let's just take all the businesses and put them together.
- 6:31Yeah, damn, just a little kid painting in a sweatshirt sweater.
- 6:36So my question is this, did they sell any of these sweatshirt sweaters?
- 6:42Yeah? Yeah, so there are people out there with these. The percher
- 6:48just don't know if they still have them. But yeah, circa let's see,
- 6:55that would have been early nineties. That would have been the early nineties.
- 6:59So can I just asked, like, whose genius idea? I was
- 7:01like, you know what we need to do. We need to take the
- 7:04sweatshirt and convert this to a sweater, both providing warmth, one providing a
- 7:12decorative touch. YEA, whose idea was it was? This? I don't
- 7:16know if that was because I'd like to think it was like the head was
- 7:19like grandma, and and the slave labor was your aunt, your mom,
- 7:23and then like the guinea pig like you put this on Danny and send him
- 7:27to school. The kids will love it. Yeah, me walking around with
- 7:30a point? Is that a sweater shirt? Yes? Because that was one
- 7:36of their favorite fabri like they were. They were really big into the Christmas
- 7:41versions of those things. Yeah. So now I just see you in a
- 7:44sweatshirt, sweater and a big red pencil, and they're like, poor Danny
- 7:48thinks it's Christmas all the time. Leave him alone. He's a special kid.
- 7:57At this point, I would like to remind you what I said earlier,
- 7:59that I am the most successful one of the family. So anyway,
- 8:09once I saw the Bob Ross thing, what if he was a serial killer
- 8:13and all this paintings were where he hit his bodies, I'll forever see that
- 8:18whenever I see Bob Ross. So I never saw the documentary. I saw
- 8:22somewhere in a separate meme that Bob Ross was a military man or something like
- 8:24that. But what else was in that documentary tray? You're a documentary guy,
- 8:30have you seen this one? I have not where it wasn't on Netflix.
- 8:35It's not a document it's a movie that they made about his life,
- 8:37and the backstory was he was a everybody sees him as this painting, you
- 8:43know, hippie looking afro with the white dude with the with the with the
- 8:46happy trees and all this. I think that's the name of the movie.
- 8:48I think it was called Happy Trees. But it starts it's his origin story,
- 8:54so it starts from like him in the military, and he was this
- 8:58military guy. I think he was. I want to say it was a
- 9:03drill sergeant, but I don't know. I know it sounds weird because I
- 9:07get him confused, but I know Don Knotts was a and people don't believe
- 9:11this, but Don Knats was a Marine Corps drill sergeant. You can imagine
- 9:16that, but he legitimately was mister shakiest Marine. And but I think bomb
- 9:26Ross was something of that. Ilk when when it comes to like the military,
- 9:33like he was a hard h it was a hard ass, and when
- 9:35he got out was like I want like he escaped that whole life and he's
- 9:39like, this is what I've always wanted to do, which is hilarious to
- 9:43me because like I just imagine like him in the military was like what do
- 9:46you want to do? And laugh Bob, and he's like, I would
- 9:48like to paint sir, how was that not? Like, how was that
- 9:52not oscar bait movie stuff? That right there? My god, I mean
- 9:56that's I can see Andrew Garfield playing the character right now. Oh yeah,
- 9:58that that would be a good one. Yeah. I can't remember who it
- 10:01was, but I mean it was very short because it was during the strike,
- 10:03I believe, so they couldn't really promote movies. But yeah, he
- 10:09was this hardcore milit So now all of that makes sense. It's like he
- 10:13left the military, he wanted to paint, but he still had the desire
- 10:16to kill. So so what if he was what if he took his military
- 10:20training and then killed and then was like, well, I'm gonna paint,
- 10:24but I'm gonna tell you because monsters tell you their monsters, like they just
- 10:28tell you, Yes, it's for us to desire for Like Bill Cosby.
- 10:33If you go back and look at the Cosby Show, he was a gynecologist
- 10:35in his basement. He's telling you that he's that guy. Interesting, Yeah,
- 10:41that's what he did. He was an obgy n and his office was
- 10:43in the basement of their house. And so monsters tell you their monsters,
- 10:48and so what if he was the whole time like he's happy trees. But
- 10:50you know what's under the happy trees a very sad person. Well, the
- 10:56tree is happy because it's grown from the decomposition of his victims. Yeah,
- 11:01and it makes it also makes the reason why that what's entray what makes the
- 11:07grass grow? Boys and girls. It is interesting though, It's like it's
- 11:18he didn't use a whole lot of red in his paintings. I wonder that's
- 11:20because he got his fill earlier. But maybe that's also part of the reason
- 11:26why he liked to do landscape paintings, is because maybe that was part of
- 11:31his preserve where he hunted his victims. He's got a hole. It's like
- 11:37the John Wayne Gacy of the forest. He has got him out there under
- 11:41what makes the trees grow? Mommy, Yeah, it's like they always say
- 11:48when you go to Yellowstone, you gotta watch out, you know, for
- 11:50the bears and the buffalo, And it's like, no, you gotta watch
- 11:52out for Bob Ross. He's out here somewhere. He turns into his own
- 11:58like urban legend, like, don't go in that forest. There's a Bob
- 12:01Ross in there. Or is it possible that he's not a uh, you
- 12:09know, a murderous, you know, trained assassin, hunter of people,
- 12:15and maybe don't ruin the fantasy like I'm going to Michael and Michael's when we're
- 12:20done here. All I'm saying is is it possible that maybe his painting just
- 12:26helped with his PTSD or or or are we gonna stick with the fact that
- 12:31he's hunting people then painting is no The murdering helped with the PTSD. It
- 12:37took him, It took him back to his favorite place, the killing fields.
- 12:41That's what the actually makes sense because in the in the barracks, everyone
- 12:46else comes back from you know, uh, from from an operation or a
- 12:50mission or something, and or patrol. They all go to bed and Bob
- 12:54pulls out his his his paints and his canvas and and his palette, and
- 12:58they say, Bob, what is it your doing? He's like planning,
- 13:03what you say, painting as he's putting on the face of his enemy.
- 13:13It was a little a little daisy behind his ear. He's just fluffing up
- 13:20his row getting ready. All right, now, I'm really ready for this
- 13:26Bob Ross biopic. You won't be able to see it now. Every time
- 13:35you watch Bob Ross and your sweater sweatshirt, sweater. D just see a
- 13:41murderer. I go back and look at this photo of Bob here, I
- 13:50can actually see it in his eyes. Yeah, those aren't those Those aren't
- 14:00necessarily happy little birds flying over the coastline. Those are Those are buzzards.
- 14:07He's always painting happy places. There are places and got away with it on
- 14:16the Bob Ross movie. He lives to paint again. Murdered by numbers.
- 14:28Yeah, yeah, that's awesome. Yeah I can't I can't see it.
- 14:35But now I feel like I've ruined Bob Ross for you, Dan, I
- 14:37apologize. Now you gonna see a serial killer every single time you see him.
- 14:41Now I'm gonna buy the collectors set. I think I still have a
- 14:46few of my grandmother's paintings. If you want, just open up a whole
- 14:54new new set of ideas for me. Plain sight found the tents might be
- 15:03a serial killer as well. That would be great to find out. What
- 15:09are you doing the same thing he's doing. Man, those instructional videos go

- 16:19that our dishwasher motor, while it was running unpressurized, was leaking enough water
- 16:26behind the back wall of the kitchen and letting it come out through the living
- 16:30room. And what kind of damage are you looking at in the kitchen?
- 16:33Well, since I know a couple of guys, we'll probably have to pull
- 16:36out part of the kitchen cabinets, sheet rock flooring, probably have to repair
- 16:42some of the well when you pull up the cabinets, we'll have to repair
- 16:45some of the countertops. You know, we might have to replace you know,
- 16:52majority of that stuff. So I don't know, we might be getting
- 16:55a brand new kitchen without carry asking for it. Congratulate. That's one time

- 19:56I hope proud supporters of the Treehouse kind of like how there were many proud
- 20:00supporters of the Bob Ross Painting Show on PBS. And I think we've established
- 20:08now that, at least in the first segment, I believe we've established that
- 20:12Bob Ross is in fact the Boogeyman. But it also brought something else into
- 20:18my mind. It made me think of another person that we've talked about throughout
- 20:23the years inside the Treehouse about another celebrity who is not known so much for
- 20:29his other dealings. He's known to us, you know as hunting vagrants and
- 20:37things, and also you know, making a hit country music, and that
- 20:42is of course Luke Bryan. Oh yes, And that all started because Luke
- 20:49Brian is seemingly a sweetheart of a dope. I mean, he's had serious
- 20:57tragedies in his family and he's had the death of siblings and he's taken their
- 21:03children into his home and he's raising those kids, and he's does all these
- 21:07great things for charity, and he seems to be a likable enough guy and
- 21:15he works hard and stuff, and he seems to have a heart of gold.
- 21:19Just a little dope. But because of that, I've thought there's got
- 21:22to be something bad about him. Maybe he hunts, you know, homeless
- 21:26people or something. And that's where it all kind of started. Well,
- 21:30Luke Brian also does a event every year called Crash My Pliout where they go
- 21:37to Pliadel Carmen and they do a country concert and people go and they have
- 21:40a good time. Well last year Dustin Lynch was there, and I guess
- 21:47the way that Luke Bryan introduced him last year. Wasn't received well by people
- 21:52because I guess he was trying to make fun of his friend Dustin Lynch,
- 21:55and some people thought he was serious. So this is what he said.
- 21:59He said at Crash My ply Out last year, he introduced Dustin Lynch by
- 22:04saying, no one has taken more drugs, more ivs and no one has
- 22:07passed more STD tests. So because of the blowback that happened, Luke had
- 22:18told Dustin that you can insult me at next year's festival any way you want.
- 22:23Ok. And this is where I give Dustin Lynch credit. He thought
- 22:27outside the box and did something very smart. And this is something that country
- 22:36singers will do. They don't always write their own stuff right. A lot
- 22:38of times they'll, you know, perform a song written by somebody else.
- 22:42That's kind of how that machine works. You write for a while, then
- 22:45you become a performer. So country people are used to outsourcing things, so
- 22:51that's basically what he did. Dustin Lynch went out and outsourced his opportunity to
- 22:57insult Luke at his own party. Okay, thanks, you can hear this,
- 23:03and it ended up making headlines back in the States, TMZ did not
- 23:07get it. I'm gonna start this or for us seer Luke Bryan introduced me
- 23:10on stage and it ended up making headlines back in the States. TMZ did
- 23:15not get it. Fox News didn't get it. And I've had one whole
- 23:18year to think about how to do this. I don't deserve this. Hey,
- 23:23it's me roast you in front of all of these people. I hope
- 23:27you don't mind me crashing a plia. It's an honor to introduce Luke Bryan
- 23:33or is I like to call him the other country singer on TV who wasn't
- 23:37hot enough to marry Gwen Stefani For those that don't know, that is,
- 23:42of course Roastmaster General from Comedy Central Jeffrey Ross, who actually had the pleasure
- 23:48of meeting many many, many many many years ago, had him on the
- 23:52Saturday Show when we were at CBS, and he that was so long ago,
- 23:56that was back when he had hair. So I think this is at
- 24:00absolutely brilliant on Dustin Lynch's part. Sometimes you just gotta you gotta hire it
- 24:03out, you know, bring somebody in the you know, can really get
- 24:07the job done. And and that's what he did. He brought in Jeff
- 24:10Ross to roast Luke Bryan at his own concert. So here it is news
- 24:15didn't get it, and I've had one whole year to think about how to
- 24:18do this. Hey, I don't deserve this, the best roaster of all
- 24:25time, to roast you in front of all of these people. I hope
- 24:27you don't mind me crashing Applia. It's an honor to introduce Luke Bryant,
- 24:32or is I like to call him the other country singer on TV who wasn't
- 24:37hot enough to marry Gwen Stefan. Luke has a new single out called Southern
- 24:41and Slow. Congrats Luke, you're finally writing something autobiographical. People what a
- 24:48Mexican music festival host him by Beavison? But it would look like here it
- 24:52is m run away. I'm rolling Stone's Top one hundred. That's a pretty
- 25:07good intro. That's great, and I love I love the love when he
- 25:11says at number one, oh wait on the country, the top one hundred
- 25:15artists of all time. And I need to look this up, like I
- 25:21need to look this up. Did did Luke Brian really have an album or
- 25:23a single called Southern and Slow? Because before I even heard this audio,
- 25:26I had a very similar thought to Jeff Ross, which is, so he's
- 25:32singing about himself, just like my thought was, like is the name of
- 25:36his book? I mean it's a pop up, but still it's it's not
- 25:41it's ages three enough, it's not. It's not a hard read. That
- 25:45is a song by Luke Bryant. All right, well that see right there.
- 25:51Luke Brian had the opportunity to fire back at Jeff Ross saying, you
- 25:55know, because Jeff Ross is saying, well, Southern and Slow's is autobiographical,
- 25:59Luke could eat. He said, well, you know what, Jeff,
- 26:04because I'm in the industry, I know what your next comedy album is
- 26:08titled. It's called About to Die. Leave a lot of mystery there,
- 26:19Luke. I am not a man of mystery. I mean I named the
- 26:26goddamn song Southern and Slow. You heard Raj. I'm sorry you heard Rag
- 26:32earlier say that monsters show you who we are. You know, because you
- 26:37know because because Rag said Cosby showed us on The Cosby Show who he was
- 26:42right by being a gynecologist in his own basement. Right yep, Yes,
- 26:47I would like to I would like to tell you that I was actually Cosby's
- 26:52best patient understudy. Why are you going to the look? Why are you
- 27:03going to the college? Just what? You know? What rat Sometimes you
- 27:07just gotta there's there's not another feeling quite like the cold steel of the stirrups?
- 27:15What were you if you don't mind? What were you getting checked out?
- 27:19Because let a man going to a guy of college just doesn't really make
- 27:25a lot of sense. Buddy, Well, you know what, we all
- 27:27got secrets, and I'm really tempted to tell you about my other one.
- 27:41You know that urban legend that ran around you know, Hollywood for years about
- 27:45Jamie Lee Curtis. Yes, yes, uh, yes, I do know
- 27:56that the people thought she was a hermaphrodite, as uh I believe. Yeah,
- 28:04So are you are you telling us uh that that's that's why you were
- 28:11visiting the gynecologist. I ain't telling you ship. I'm just saying people got
- 28:18secrets, and I'm just like everybody. But I also have I got to
- 28:33collegees was a TV doctor. You're in the Treehouse. Visit us online at
- 28:42Treehouse on air dot com. I think I've decided I need to get one
- 28:47of those like little face things of Luke Bryan's face with the mouth cut out
- 28:51of it, so you just kind of hold the anthem. That's such a
- 28:55great impression. Who knew you could do that? That's my time out to
- 29:00talk to Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing. Give them a call for any and all
- 29:03of your plumbing once and needs to one four, three, six, eight,
- 29:07thirty eight thirty eight, just like Daniel and Carrie Cook did from Cook
- 29:11DFW Roofing and Restoration, because they like, hey, I'm pretty sure we
- 29:15got a leak. They couldn't find it, and they knew who to call,
- 29:18and that was you. It was me and now Broadcast World the podcast
- 29:25The Treehouse are gonna know before Carrie knows, because I haven't even told her
- 29:27yet because she wasn't home. So we went into the house, we played
- 29:32with the dog. We found the leak, so I thought because I wasn't
- 29:37there, but based on what she was explaining to me, I thought she
- 29:38had a water slab lake. Come to find out, we put the house
- 29:41on tests. There's no water leak, but they were able to determine that
- 29:47her dishwasher was leaking at the motor itself. So one of the things that
- 29:52we do is we look at anything and everything in and around any areas where
- 29:57you might have any damage, so we can rule out possibilities of something.
- 30:00So long story short, every time the cooks run a dishwasher cycle, when
- 30:06it would go through the draining process, it was leaking out at the motor.
- 30:10And so now I'm not an appliant specialist by any means. I don't
- 30:14think that can be repaired. I would just replace it. But she's in
- 30:18a really good place, in my opinion, to file an entrance claim.
- 30:22So if she chooses to go that route, she'll have the paperwork from a
- 30:25licensed plumber to back it up. We all call each other for the help.
- 30:26That's why we're all in here, and that's why want We want you
- 30:30to do the same thing. The type of treatment that the Cooks got from
- 30:33Jacqueline and Brooks Plumbing. While special, it's not exclusive. They're going to
- 30:38give you the same exact treatment that they give everyone, including me and the
- 30:44Cooks. So you give Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing or call it anytime you have
- 30:47a plumbing want or a need like in this case two one, fourth,
- 30:51three, six, eight, thirty eight, thirty eight and Brooks Plumbing,
- 30:52Texas dot com line at Treehouseonair dot com. This segment of the tree House
- 31:07is brought to you by Brooks Plumbing. Give them a call for any and
- 31:10all of your plumbing wants and needs. Two one four three six eight thirty
- 31:14eight thirty eight. That's two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight.
- 31:18The website Brooks Plumbing, Texas. Excuse me dot com. Don't know
- 31:22if there's any more you know, deep freezes that are going to happen or
- 31:26hard freezes that are going to happen. But if they do, called Brooks
- 31:32Plumbing, they'll come out and uh make sure your pipes are good. Uh.
- 31:40There are a couple of really good news stories I wanted to share with
- 31:41you guys today, and uh, in true Treehouse fashion, I cannot physically
- 31:47share those with you without doing birthdays first. Tell you all right, So
- 31:53we're gonna kind of speed through the birthdays a little bit so we can get
- 31:57to these other things. Birthdays is it's worth it, Don't get me wrong.
- 32:02We just have an end game here. Today is day January twenty sixth,
- 32:10twenty twenty four. Birthdays today. Sasha Banks is thirty two. She
- 32:17is a coscar Reeves on the Mandalorian also says Lady wrestler and Snoop's cousin Rachel
- 32:28Depillo from Chicago, med thirty three. Mantitao, former NFL player, also
- 32:34thirty three today. I remember him as a linebacker from the Chargers, and
- 32:37I didn't realize until today that he actually played for the Saints for a short
- 32:43while, which I feel bad for that guy because I did not know he
- 32:49played for the Saints. But I will always remember him as probably one of
- 32:52the worst catfish victims of all time, because when I think of man Tyiteo,
- 32:57that's unfortunately what I remember. I believe he was the one to coin
- 33:00the phrase, right, wasn't that That's where they came up with the term
- 33:04cat fishing. I don't know if he coined it, but I mean,
- 33:07I guess if you want to label yourself then and I think the question always
- 33:10was was he in on it? I don't. Here's the Here's why I
- 33:15don't know. It's because it was the only the only way they found out
- 33:19was a Twitter account. Is his girlfriend had died from cancer and it never
- 33:27met her, but they were deeply in love. It wasn't allowed to go
- 33:30to the funeral because the family wanted their own privacy. And then she he
- 33:35dedicated the last game of the season, Notre Dame, to her, and
- 33:40prior to him suiting up for that game, his coach went, hey,
- 33:46just so you know, she just tweeted, So that's how they found it.
- 33:51She had forgot to remove him from the Twitter account, so she just
- 33:54sent out a tweet about something, you know, innocuous or baseless or whatever
- 34:00it was, and it just that flagged the Notre Dame head coach, just
- 34:04to let you know your dead girlfriend's alive, and then I really feel like
- 34:07that's something you wait to tell the player after the game. Well, it
- 34:12was also it was a dead Spin investigation will well because of the It was
- 34:19originally because of a leaked not leaked, but tweet that went out from the
- 34:23dead girl's account. Is how how it came up. The investigation which revealed
- 34:29that it was a guy that went that he had gone to high school with
- 34:32that was pretending to be a girl. So that's what the investigation uncovered was
- 34:39that it's a dude who could do a high pitch because they talked on the
- 34:43phone every night and so he was he went on some show either when Maury
- 34:47or some show like that where he was, she was he whatever was behind
- 34:51the screen. A very special episode of Maury. This is not your girlfriend.
- 34:58We have the results. This is a dude. But he was like
- 35:02behind the screen and it was like they were talking to and she did the
- 35:06he did the voice, and the reveal happened. It was it was a
- 35:08guy that he had gone to high school that had a crush on him.
- 35:12Clearly, Roj. You know a lot about man Tito. How many career
- 35:15tackles does he have? Well, he couldn't tackle this one head on.
- 35:17But uh, I don't know the only reason I know all of this is
- 35:25my buddy Mark ag covered it. I remember Mark Mark, Oh yeah,
- 35:29I love he was covering. He was working for the h Star Telegram and
- 35:36I think they covered that story and he was helping. Oh good for him
- 35:38because usually he got stuck on like the schoolboard crap. Yeah, I mean,
- 35:43but he was. He didn't even get this wasn't his. He was
- 35:45just helping the person that was writing the story, gotcha. He was like,
- 35:49So we'd hang out, like you know, after shows, But dude,
- 35:52you won't believe what happened. Then he would tell me all the man
- 35:53Tito stuff. That's where and then that's where the TV show came out.
- 35:58Got that poor guy? Yeah, other birthdays today. Colin o'donahue, who
- 36:02plays Captain Hook on ABC's Once Upon a Time. Forty three, Taylor James,
- 36:07star of the twenty eighteen Sampson movie is forty four. Sarah Ruse forty
- 36:10five from Mom also Impastor and the Librarian on a Series of Unfortunate Events.
- 36:17A former basketball star including the Maps, Vince Carter forty seven, Andrew Ridgeley,
- 36:24the surviving member of Wham is sixty one, Wayne Gretzky the Great One
- 36:30is sixty three, Ellen DeGeneres sixty six, and let's see know what of
- 36:36Scott glenn Is eighty five and just a bit outside Bob Yucker still kicking at
- 36:45ninety. Wow. Yeah, that's wild, Okay, Nindy, all right?
- 36:52Groundhog Day is coming up right? Sure? If PETA had its way
- 37:01people for the ethical treatment of animals, what if they were successful in getting
- 37:07punk Satani Phil replaced with a giant gold coin that someone would flip instead of
- 37:15you know, asking a abused groundhog? Is it? Is it? Abused?
- 37:23Is an abused groundhog? I'm gonna better than most people. Yeah,
- 37:31and you're one hundred percent right. And I remember years and years and years
- 37:36ago when Peter went after the Clydesdales, the Budweiser Clydesdale so was I think
- 37:39the early eighties, and they went after them for their being horribly treated.
- 37:44And then and heyser Bush was like, Uh, okay, we'll just release
- 37:47a real quick video and show you where these guys live. And it turned
- 37:52into it turned into a decades long U storyline, ads, Yeah about how
- 37:59well they live. Some pretty sure punks a Tony Phil. You know,
- 38:02he's I bet he's got a righteous pad. I bet he's doing just fine.
- 38:06I bet they feed him well and they bathe. I read somewhere that
- 38:08in the off season, because his off season is every day except February.
- 38:13Second, he's he's kept in a cage in a library or something. It's
- 38:17like, well, that's not so. I mean, okay, that's kind
- 38:21of that's kind of that kind of sucks. I guess it would suck if
- 38:25he can't read. He's a voracious readers, that's why this cage is in
- 38:34a library. But I would assume like they would just kind of let him
- 38:37out and like run free. I don't know why they would keep him in
- 38:42a cage in a library. That would suck. I mean maybe a gold
- 38:45coin. There might be a better thing, like let the poor kid out.
- 38:50I don't know. It's a show. They have to they have to
- 38:52do the show. They have to show the groundhog. They do the whole
- 38:54thing, and you know it's and it's also good for that. It's also
- 38:58good for that town's economy, and it was good for the economy before the
- 39:01Bill Murray movie came out. Did they still air it when it happened?
- 39:06I know they used to a long time ago. They would have like all
- 39:07the media would go down and cut. I think so, yeah, okay,
- 39:12because I haven't seen it a long time. But last time I saw
- 39:15it, I believe Al Roker was there. I think it's one of those
- 39:20that you probably haven't seen the last couple of years because of COVID. But
- 39:22oh, okay, uh is it was it big Al Roker? Really like
- 39:28grossly thin Al Roker? It was? It was? It was bigger Al
- 39:30Roker. Okay, so this was like the nineties. No, I think,
- 39:35I just I want to say it was. It's hard, it's hard
- 39:37to It's hard to figure out what year is, what by what weight Al
- 39:40Roker is. It's kind of like Oprah. It's hard to track because they
- 39:44had so many ups and downs. You know. Yeah, I can always
- 39:45tell what part of the you know, eighties it was by Luther Vandros.
- 39:49I'm like, oh, early eighties, big fellow, all right. And
- 39:57the other thing I want this is a very important question I need to ask
- 40:00the two of you. Okay, So I want you to clear your minds
- 40:02and I want you to give an honest answer here. I don't want you
- 40:08to fear any judgment, but I want you to keep in mind there will
- 40:13be judgment based on your answer. But I don't want you to be afraid,
- 40:15but I want you to still give an honest answer. Okay, Okay.
- 40:20Do you fart on planes? Yes? Yeah, an aster in the
- 40:28bathroom or just like randomly in your seat in the plane, not in the
- 40:31bathroom. No, thank you, Raj. You are a good person.
- 40:38Trey, Well, I'm honest to God not surprised. So the reason I
- 40:47asked you this is because someone posted online recently about I think it was on
- 40:52Reddit where they said there was a flight there was an American Airlines flight and
- 40:59there was a guy who farted very loudly and kept doing so to annoy people,
- 41:06and then arguments started and eventually the guy gets kicked off the plane.
- 41:13So my question to you is this, Trey, When you fart on a
- 41:19plane, are you doing it to inflict harm upon your fellow passengers or and
- 41:27I'm offering you an out here, or are you throwing out a test poot
- 41:31to see if it's gonna stink. Because if it doesn't stink, then you
- 41:36can just let it rip the whole flight. But if it is an atrocious
- 41:39stink bomb, then you only do it once. If it's if it'sn't going
- 41:45to be an atrocious stink bomb, I go to the bathroom and you leave
- 41:52it as a surprise for the next person. Well it's but if I just
- 41:57now, yeah, I guess I'll do a little bit of a test run
- 42:00just to make sure. But you know, typically typically you know, if
- 42:04if you're you know, gonna be stinkier than normal on any given day.
- 42:08And ah, so yeah, mainly just you know, hopefully people don't hear
- 42:14it. I'm not that kind of monster that you know, I want people
- 42:16to hear it. So, so you are capable of shame? Yeah,
- 42:24I guess so are you? Are you thinking about all the times you've done
- 42:30it? Is that why that? Well, you kind of give it a
- 42:32test run, make sure no one's gonna hear it, and then if it's
- 42:36you know, providing you're not stinking up the cabin or anything, then it
- 42:37just you know, it's kind of fun. You realize what that makes you,
- 42:42right, that makes you a fart sniper? Yes, because the damage
- 42:50will be will be smelled and felt, but you will not be seen.
- 42:57I said, if they're if they're really, if they're mud difference. I
- 43:00go to the bathroom and no one will know where the shot came from.
- 43:05Is the fart ninja? Now fart bombs and he's out. That's not to
- 43:14say, you know, I won't weigh a trail of stink going to the
- 43:15bathroom, but oh you'll crop dust. Yeah, he'll crop dust on the
- 43:21way there. Okay, that is uh see look at the smile on his
- 43:23face. I know it's you know, you gotta find joyce somewhere. Well,
- 43:30un ironically Treys is in the asshole. Yeah, but it's things going
- 43:38out. Whatever you do in that that airplane laboratory. It still makes me
- 43:57a member of the Mile High Club so well. Not only does that conclude
- 44:04the safety portion of this flight, it also concludes this episode, this Friday
- 44:09episode of the Trios. I don't know about you, guys, but I
- 44:14had a lot of fun up until we learned too much about Trey. You
- 44:21asked, You're right, It's there was a K and asked, right see
- 44:27you asked. I think you asked. I think I think both can be
- 44:32true. Here We'll see you next time in the Trios. Feel
