- 0:00Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Well, welcome to what very well could be just the
- 0:08Speaker 2: perfect day. It is the perfect day, is it not?
- 0:11Speaker 2: It's Monday, October 26th, and we have sunshine and 72 degrees.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I mean, just a picture-perfect day in my neck of
- 0:21Speaker 2: the woods right here on Tiffany Boulevard in Youngstown from
- 0:24Speaker 2: the kingdom of Mahoning. I mean, it is just perfect today.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Just so gorgeous outside. And it's going to stay this
- 0:30Speaker 2: way for a while, they say, which is terrific. Dry
- 0:33Speaker 2: and these nice temperatures makes it easy to get your
- 0:36Speaker 2: leaves cleaned up. And so it just makes life a
- 0:38Speaker 2: whole lot better when the sun is shining and you
- 0:40Speaker 2: have weather like this. As we approach the end of October,
- 0:44Speaker 2: next thing you know, we're into November. So we shall
- 0:47Speaker 2: go for there. You know, I hear all these people.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It's just some observations. And I hear a lot of
- 0:55Speaker 2: talk about the economy, and justifiably so. But I got
- 0:59Speaker 2: to tell you something. You know, people say to me
- 1:01Speaker 2: all the time, well, gas is bad. $ 4. 20, $ 4. 30 a
- 1:08Speaker 2: gallon or whatever it might be. And people say to me,
- 1:12Speaker 2: I don't know if you've noticed, there's no shortage of
- 1:14Speaker 2: cars on the road. Even at $ 4. 30, $ 4. 40 a gallon.
- 1:19Speaker 2: And they are correct. There isn't a shortage of cars.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I mean, obviously, you can look during the week when
- 1:26Speaker 2: people are going back and forth from work. But even
- 1:29Speaker 2: on the weekends, obviously, people are getting supplies, groceries and
- 1:33Speaker 2: that kind of stuff. But, I mean, there's always just
- 1:36Speaker 2: tons of traffic. So people are saying, this is what
- 1:41Speaker 2: people are saying to me. So they're saying, really, is
- 1:43Speaker 2: the economy that bad when you see all these cars
- 1:47Speaker 2: at $ 4. 50 a gallon or $ 4. 40, whatever you might be paying,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and you see all this traffic that's out there? I thought, oh,
- 1:55Speaker 2: that's interesting. So once I hear that, I'm kind of
- 1:58Speaker 2: observant and I notice it. And there's some truth to that.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I mean, just, you know, obviously I'm 224 and go
- 2:06Speaker 2: down 224 a lot and South Avenue and those major areas.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But I've been on 422 last week and equally as busy.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Equally as busy. So there's a fair observation to be
- 2:20Speaker 2: to be made there. Now, let me give you another thing.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Friday nights, Friday nights. I went with the ball and chain,
- 2:27Speaker 2: my son and his girlfriend. We went to inner circle
- 2:30Speaker 2: in Canfield about. Seven thirty. So we went to so
- 2:38Speaker 2: we cruised down there and. You'd say, OK, well, it's
- 2:43Speaker 2: Friday nights, high school football. And I'm here to tell
- 2:48Speaker 2: you the place was packed, absolutely packed. I mean, there
- 2:54Speaker 2: wasn't every single table, every chair, the place was simply packed, packed.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Now I always notice when I, when I drive down
- 3:06Speaker 2: to 24, um, and I can, it's so easy for
- 3:12Speaker 2: me to forget the name of the place, but, uh,
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's the restaurants just prior to handles on 224, you know,
- 3:20Speaker 2: kind of across from Myers grocery store. There's a restaurant
- 3:25Speaker 2: over there, locally owned restaurants. The place is always packed.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I mean, they got a big parking lot. I don't
- 3:32Speaker 2: see any shortage of customers at that restaurant. Didn't see
- 3:36Speaker 2: any shortage of customers at inner circle. And these people
- 3:39Speaker 2: are saying, are you out there? Are you looking at
- 3:42Speaker 2: this traffic, Ron? Are you paying attention?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Ends.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Then I read this, and I want to read this
- 3:49Speaker 2: to you. All right, this is from Saturday's weekend edition
- 3:57Speaker 2: of The Vindicator. I know many of you don't get
- 3:59Speaker 2: the paper anymore. You probably should support the paper. It's
- 4:02Speaker 2: Cal Thomas. Let me read this to you. If politics
- 4:05Speaker 2: were logical, Republicans should be leading in the polls and
- 4:08Speaker 2: looking forward to maintaining, even expanding, their congressional majorities. Putting
- 4:14Speaker 2: aside President Trump's annoying personality... his vulgar language, and his
- 4:19Speaker 2: narcissistic behavior, as difficult as that might be for many people,
- 4:23Speaker 2: Republicans should be asking voters these questions. Do you remember
- 4:27Speaker 2: why you voted out the Democrats two years ago because
- 4:30Speaker 2: of their economic and crazy policies like transgender athletes and
- 4:35Speaker 2: women's sports? If you do, why would you return them
- 4:39Speaker 2: to the majority in Congress, which will result... in investigations
- 4:45Speaker 2: and another possible impeachment of the president. Will that improve
- 4:48Speaker 2: your life? Yes, the Iran war is frustrating, but the
- 4:52Speaker 2: unacceptable alternative to stopping the fanatical Iranian regime from getting
- 4:58Speaker 2: a nuclear weapon is allowing them to have one. Do
- 5:02Speaker 2: you know nothing about their fundamentalist doctrines that teach they
- 5:07Speaker 2: have a duty to kill Jews, Christians, and anyone else
- 5:11Speaker 2: who believes differently from them? Are you unaware of the
- 5:14Speaker 2: recent economic progress? According to the Unleash Prosperity newsletter, after
- 5:21Speaker 2: four months of decline due to high energy prices, real
- 5:25Speaker 2: household income showed a rebound in August and September. Medium,
- 5:31Speaker 2: that means average, household income rose to $ 88, 667 in August.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Nearly the highest income level ever. and up roughly $ 2, 500
- 5:43Speaker 2: in real terms from when Trump's second term began. In
- 5:48Speaker 2: his four years in office, real incomes barely budged under Biden.
- 5:53Speaker 2: According to the Census Bureau, the poverty rate fell to 10.2%
- 5:57Speaker 2: last year, the lowest on record dating back to 1967.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It gets better. The president promised to control the southern border,
- 6:07Speaker 2: and he has. A White House press release makes the
- 6:10Speaker 2: case illegal border crossings have plummeted to their lowest level
- 6:14Speaker 2: since the 1970s, with migrants' encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border
- 6:20Speaker 2: dropping dramatically in 2025. The U.S. achieved negative net migration
- 6:27Speaker 2: in 2025, the first time in over 50 years, reversing
- 6:32Speaker 2: decades of unchartered migration and restoring control over our sovereignty. Plus,
- 6:38Speaker 2: the administration claims to have deported 500,000 immigrants with criminal records. Yes,
- 6:45Speaker 2: there has been some overreaction by ICE, but this pales
- 6:49Speaker 2: when compared to the crimes committed by deportees. Want more?
- 6:55Speaker 2: Except in big cities like Chicago and St. Louis, where
- 6:59Speaker 2: to some murders appear to have become the new normal,
- 7:03Speaker 2: the administration can legitimately brag about the decline in overall crime.
- 7:09Speaker 2: According to FBI data, violent crime in America dropped 9.7%
- 7:12Speaker 2: in 2025, the largest one-year decline in history. Nationally, murder
- 7:15Speaker 2: fell 18.1%. Robbery fell 18.5%. And America's violent crime rates
- 7:26Speaker 2: is its lowest since 1900. Trump and the Republican Congress
- 7:31Speaker 2: made tax cuts permanent. The downside is they didn't attack
- 7:34Speaker 2: the $ 40 trillion debts. The president also significantly reduced the
- 7:39Speaker 2: number of federal employees and repealed 129 regulations for every
- 7:44Speaker 2: new one, according to the Office of Management and Budget.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Manufacturing jobs have returned or been brought to America. Ford
- 7:52Speaker 2: is moving Lincoln production out of China starting in 2030.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Toyota is shifting a major portion of its Tacoma production
- 8:01Speaker 2: from Mexico to Texas by 2030. GM, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Solantis,
- 8:09Speaker 2: and others are expanding U.S. production. Power plants and refineries
- 8:14Speaker 2: are being built. Why don't more people know this? It's
- 8:19Speaker 2: because the major media largely ignores it. preferring to focus
- 8:23Speaker 2: on the horse race and Democrats who have no policies.
- 8:27Speaker 2: It takes time to turn around failures of the Biden
- 8:30Speaker 2: and Obama administration, but things are moving in the right direction.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Putting Democrats back in a majority in a House, Senate,
- 8:38Speaker 2: or both will stall this progress. If only the presidents
- 8:42Speaker 2: would make the campaign less about himself and start asking
- 8:46Speaker 2: some of the above questions themselves. for voters to ponder,
- 8:51Speaker 2: or would it be illogical to expect that of him?
- 8:54Speaker 2: That's Cal Thomas. I thought that was really well written.
- 8:57Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Here, I thought this was a good letter. I'm going
- 9:02Speaker 2: to read you this letter written by the one and
- 9:05Speaker 2: only Steve Dunn. This was in the paper over the weekend.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Dear Editor, Democrats suffering with TDS, Trump derangement syndrome, hate
- 9:15Speaker 2: Trump so bad that they will say anything to degrade him.
- 9:19Speaker 2: A recent letter writer wrote that ICE took a five-year-old
- 9:22Speaker 2: child into court with no family or lawyer. That doesn't
- 9:27Speaker 2: even make sense, yet Democrats believe that garbage. Obama gave
- 9:31Speaker 2: a medal to his ICE director for deporting 900,000 illegals.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Trump's ICE director is a racist and a Nazi. They
- 9:42Speaker 2: are the same man. Tom Homan is the ICE director
- 9:46Speaker 2: for Obama as well as Trump. Most of the Democrats
- 9:50Speaker 2: don't even know why they hate Trump. They just do.
- 9:53Speaker 2: When asked to explain the hatred, they cannot articulate true reasons.
- 9:57Speaker 2: By every metric, the economy is better now. than under Biden. Currently,
- 10:02Speaker 2: inflation is 3.7 percent with. with Biden, 21%. Gas today,
- 10:08Speaker 2: $ 4 a gallon, Biden, 502. The poverty rate is 10.2%,
- 10:13Speaker 2: the lowest in history. Average household income, 87,000, the highest
- 10:17Speaker 2: in the world. The Iran war cost $ 40 billion, less
- 10:21Speaker 2: than 25% of the fraud in California. Trump looks at
- 10:25Speaker 2: the economy through a macroeconomic lens. He sees the big picture,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and he looks at the entire economy, tracking aggregates, outcomes,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and builds for the future. The $ 18 trillion of outside
- 10:40Speaker 2: investment is being built now. As I mentioned earlier, I
- 10:44Speaker 2: think Toyota is building a $ 3. 6 billion car plant. Elon
- 10:48Speaker 2: Musk is building $ 119 billion new telephab plants. Taiwan Semiconductor
- 10:55Speaker 2: is building a $ 100 million chip plant. This and many
- 10:59Speaker 2: other investments will create a job boom like never seen before.
- 11:02Speaker 2: The stock market has broken 81 records and controls $ 32. 4
- 11:06Speaker 2: trillion of net worth. When Trump threatens other countries like
- 11:10Speaker 2: Greenland with use of force, it is a negotiating tool.
- 11:15Speaker 2: We now control Greenland and its rare earth minerals, and
- 11:18Speaker 2: no force was used. John Husted recently wrote a bill
- 11:22Speaker 2: to control AI data centers. The centers must pay for
- 11:26Speaker 2: all utilities independently of the area where they build. That
- 11:31Speaker 2: includes providing free electricity for the community they build in.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Congress passed the bill 417 to 3. The Senate's defeated
- 11:42Speaker 2: the bill. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said they would
- 11:45Speaker 2: not pass a bill that helps Houston in a Senate race.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So hurt the entire country to help a Democrat get elected.
- 11:53Speaker 2: It's just pathetic. Hakeem Jeffries, Schumer and the Democrats are
- 11:58Speaker 2: on board with the Democrat Socialists of America platform. Once
- 12:02Speaker 2: they are in control, they will create Medicare for all.
- 12:05Speaker 2: All private medical insurance ends at a cost of 50
- 12:08Speaker 2: trillion for 10 years. That's $ 355, 000 per household. Transition to
- 12:14Speaker 2: all the renewable energy in four years and goodbye fossil fuels.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Everything will be electric. What happens during a storm? Who
- 12:22Speaker 2: pays for all of this? Voting rights for all, including illegals?
- 12:26Speaker 2: ICE will be defunded. November 3rd represents an unrecognizable Democrat
- 12:30Speaker 2: Revolutionary Party-driven... By Islamic sympathizing socialist if they win even
- 12:38Speaker 2: the most lurid liberal claims about the economy will pale
- 12:41Speaker 2: in comparison to what's to come Steve Dunn wrote that
- 12:45Speaker 2: in the weekend paper, and I thought that was well
- 12:47Speaker 2: written so there you go There's there's a couple of
- 12:49Speaker 2: different Scenarios for you all right a couple of different
- 12:54Speaker 2: scenarios for you Comments I Thought I thought all of
- 13:00Speaker 2: that was extremely well written so yes, I understand that
- 13:04Speaker 2: Gas is expensive. And by the way, just as a
- 13:07Speaker 2: side note, who was saying all of this even before
- 13:16Speaker 2: I read it on this very program? Well, I think
- 13:21Speaker 2: it was the one and only G2. Even before Cal
- 13:25Speaker 2: Thomas wrote it. Even before I read Steve Dunn's letter.
- 13:30Speaker 2: So basically, you know, they're saying And it's hard to
- 13:35Speaker 2: remember all of this stuff. They're saying, look at all
- 13:37Speaker 2: of this, not government jobs that are being created, but
- 13:40Speaker 2: private sector jobs that are coming back in the United States.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Huge numbers of private sector jobs returning to this country.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Look at the poverty rates being at its lowest. Look
- 13:52Speaker 2: at the average household income being at its highest. Look
- 13:57Speaker 2: at the crime rate being at its lowest. So as
- 14:01Speaker 2: they go through all of this kind of stuff... As
- 14:03Speaker 2: Cal Thomas said, it's easy to forget all this stuff.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Why?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Because the mainstream media simply ignores it. They don't put
- 14:11Speaker 2: it out there. They just don't put it out there.
- 14:16Speaker 2: And basically the bottom line is, and I suspect, who knows,
- 14:23Speaker 2: you have Sherrod Brown. I was listening to an ad recently.
- 14:26Speaker 2: that some PAC was running on behalf of Sherrod Brown,
- 14:29Speaker 2: attacking John Husted. Oh, he took Medicare away from a
- 14:35Speaker 2: lot of people in the state. How do they word it?
- 14:39Speaker 2: Something along the lines of, not Medicare, he cut Medicaid
- 14:43Speaker 2: for thousands of people. And they make this claim, and
- 14:48Speaker 2: I sit back and say, this was a supplement, That
- 14:52Speaker 2: was put in by the Democrats to expire in five years.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It was never intended to be permanent.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Never.
- 15:00Speaker 2: It was for five years and then to end. That's
- 15:03Speaker 2: what the Democrats put forth. So when it ended in
- 15:07Speaker 2: five years, now they're trying to say, well, this is
- 15:09Speaker 2: the fault of John Husted. That he's cutting health care
- 15:14Speaker 2: to people on Medicaid. This is just ridiculous. This is
- 15:20Speaker 2: nothing short of lies. Absolutely nothing short of lies. And
- 15:25Speaker 2: I suspect some of this stuff is going to work.
- 15:29Speaker 2: As I've said to you numerous times, Amy Acton isn't
- 15:32Speaker 2: even remotely qualified to be governor of this state. And
- 15:35Speaker 2: if she wins, I don't know who's going to be
- 15:37Speaker 2: running this state. It's deeply troubling to me that she
- 15:41Speaker 2: quit being the state's doctor when the going got tough.
- 15:44Speaker 2: She got going and left. She won't debate Ramaswamy. Sherrod
- 15:49Speaker 2: Brown's been around forever, and he backed all this craziness
- 15:53Speaker 2: of the Biden administration. All this craziness. Did we forget
- 15:59Speaker 2: about all of that stuff? So when you look at
- 16:05Speaker 2: the big picture, as people are saying to me, take
- 16:07Speaker 2: a look at the restaurants, Ron. Take a look at
- 16:09Speaker 2: all the traffic out there. You're seeing a shortage with
- 16:12Speaker 2: $ 4 gas or $ 4. 20 gas or whatever. Put whatever price
- 16:16Speaker 2: on it you want. Do you see a shortage? People
- 16:20Speaker 2: are still living their life, still driving, still adjusting. Household
- 16:24Speaker 2: incomes are up. And by the way, guess what my
- 16:27Speaker 2: wife said to me over the weekends? Oh, she said,
- 16:31Speaker 2: you know, grocery prices are down. I said, are they?
- 16:36Speaker 2: She said, yes, they are. Chicken, she went into the
- 16:39Speaker 2: whole scenario. She gave me a good five, 10-minute scenario.
- 16:43Speaker 2: And here's a woman with just a photographic memory. She
- 16:45Speaker 2: can remember every stupid thing I've done over 40 years. But,
- 16:49Speaker 2: I mean, here's a woman that can tell you what
- 16:50Speaker 2: it used to cost and what it costs now and
- 16:52Speaker 2: how grocery prices are down. Very interesting. Comments, 330-729-9977. Since
- 16:59Speaker 2: 1970 and... All right, back to it. News Radio 570.
- 17:07Speaker 2: So I thought that was interesting. I thought the letter
- 17:09Speaker 2: written to the editor was interesting. I thought Cal Thomas...
- 17:13Speaker 2: Interesting article, and it certainly is. As I said, even
- 17:16Speaker 2: before I read any of those, G2 covered that. I
- 17:19Speaker 2: think Richard Farmis has covered it on the program. And
- 17:23Speaker 2: we forget a lot of that kind of stuff, or
- 17:27Speaker 2: it simply just doesn't get covered. And that's why I
- 17:30Speaker 2: say a lot of these people that just I don't
- 17:34Speaker 2: even know how to describe it. I mean, I would
- 17:36Speaker 2: have to have Ted the conservative describe it, I suppose.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I just don't understand it. I mean, Amy Acton has
- 17:44Speaker 2: really zero qualifications to be governor of this state. This
- 17:48Speaker 2: huge state. If she wins, I don't know who's going
- 17:51Speaker 2: to be running a state. I mean, there's nothing impressive
- 17:54Speaker 2: about her at all. And Ramaswamy's a pretty sharp guy.
- 18:03Speaker 2: And John Husted is a much better choice than Sherrod Brown,
- 18:05Speaker 2: who's been there for 30-something years. He's never seen a
- 18:12Speaker 2: tax he doesn't like. You're on the air.
- 18:15Speaker 7: I'm going to ask you, hey, good afternoon. What a
- 18:21Speaker 7: beautiful day, huh?
- 18:21Speaker 2: It is a beautiful day. And how about the fact...
- 18:24Speaker 2: that you asked me, well, what jobs are coming back
- 18:26Speaker 2: and everything? And look at that article that I just
- 18:29Speaker 2: had when you asked me about the companies coming back.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I believe that was Friday, and then I read that,
- 18:37Speaker 2: and guess who came to my mind when it says
- 18:40Speaker 2: right here, manufacturing jobs have returned or being brought back
- 18:43Speaker 2: to America. Ford is moving Lincoln production out of China
- 18:46Speaker 2: starting in 2030. Toyota is shifting a major portion of
- 18:49Speaker 2: its Tacoma production from Mexico to Texas. By 2030, GM, Honda,
- 18:53Speaker 2: and Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and others are expanding U.S. production. Power
- 18:58Speaker 2: plants and refineries are being built. Why don't more people
- 19:01Speaker 2: know this? It's because the major media largely ignores it. Well,
- 19:05Speaker 2: how about that? I didn't ignore it. You asked that
- 19:07Speaker 2: question Friday. And guess what I did over the weekend?
- 19:10Speaker 8: My homework?
- 19:13Speaker 7: Well, God bless you.
- 19:22Speaker 2: And I went out Friday night with the family. And,
- 19:26Speaker 2: you know, at the restaurant, as the old saying goes,
- 19:30Speaker 2: it was asses to elbows. It was that crowded. And
- 19:33Speaker 2: somebody texted me a name. Every time I pass that
- 19:35Speaker 2: stone bridge on 224, the parking lot's always full. I
- 19:39Speaker 2: don't see a shortage of cars. I don't see any
- 19:41Speaker 2: of this stuff. And then I'm reading in that paper
- 19:44Speaker 2: about household incomes being up, crime being down. That's all
- 19:48Speaker 2: good stuff.
- 19:52Speaker 7: Are you done?
- 19:53Speaker 2: I'm feeling pretty good right now.
- 19:59Speaker 7: God bless you. But anyhow, when that comes to attrition,
- 20:05Speaker 7: in other words, when it's being done, then I'll believe it.
- 20:10Speaker 7: But I want to ask you just a far-out question here.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yes, old-timer. Yes, old-timer.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 20:18Speaker 7: Okay, young fella.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 20:20Speaker 7: Did Biden win the election? Yes or no?
- 20:28Speaker 2: I theoretically and I answer that I should answer that
- 20:32Speaker 2: like Ilhan Omar answers your question. Well, you know, my
- 20:36Speaker 2: truth is, did he win?
- 20:39Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Was it a questionable election? Yes.
- 20:43Speaker 8: Why?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Because it was a covid election. And I think many
- 20:47Speaker 2: things happened during COVID that needed to be, that were
- 20:50Speaker 2: much different from any other election. But that doesn't mean
- 20:53Speaker 2: he lost and it doesn't mean it was rigged. It
- 20:57Speaker 2: could be. I don't know for certain. My answer is
- 21:00Speaker 2: I don't know for certain. I don't know. And I
- 21:03Speaker 2: can't say definitely there's no fraud involved in this or
- 21:07Speaker 2: anything along those lines. Just like I say to people,
- 21:09Speaker 2: I'm not a scientist. I can't tell you whether global warming,
- 21:13Speaker 2: if the glaciers are melting or not. I don't know.
- 21:16Speaker 9: Okay.
- 21:17Speaker 7: All right. But COVID was one of the biggest pushes
- 21:21Speaker 7: now since COVID.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Oh, COVID was a big problem.
- 21:24Speaker 7: A mail-in ballots.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Well, COVID was a big problem, period.
- 21:28Speaker 7: Early, early voting.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah. A lot of mail ballots and sending
- 21:32Speaker 2: out ballots. Everything was different in that election. Absolutely correct.
- 21:38Speaker 7: The thing of it is, is.
- 21:40Speaker 2: But let me say this to you. Let me say
- 21:42Speaker 2: this to you. It doesn't matter to me whether I
- 21:44Speaker 2: think he won or not. He was the president. That's
- 21:47Speaker 2: the bottom line. I mean, he was in the office.
- 21:49Speaker 2: So I hate to sound like Nancy or Hillary Clinton,
- 21:52Speaker 2: but what difference does it make?
- 21:54Speaker 7: What difference does it make?
- 21:59Speaker 2: He was the president. That's all you need to know.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Stand by. Let me do my headlines. Okay, hang on.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I got to hear what he has to say. I'm
- 22:06Speaker 2: going to come back to him. Always enjoy my discussions
- 22:09Speaker 2: with him. Back in a minute. Stay tuned.
- 22:11Speaker 8: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 22:16Speaker 10: Over 1 million ballots have been cast across the state
- 22:19Speaker 10: as of last Friday, according to the Ohio Secretary of
- 22:22Speaker 10: State's office. These numbers put the Buckeye State on track
- 22:25Speaker 10: to set an all-time record for early voter turnout in
- 22:28Speaker 10: a midterm election. So far, Democratic primary voters have had
- 22:32Speaker 10: a better turnout than Republicans by about 20%. Election day
- 22:36Speaker 10: is one week from tomorrow on Tuesday, November 3rd. Meantime,
- 22:41Speaker 10: the Ohio Department of Transportation has begun its winter prep.
- 22:44Speaker 10: Over 200 inspections on 1,700 trucks across the state are
- 22:49Speaker 10: being done as we speak, and salt barns are being
- 22:52Speaker 10: restocked after a lot of.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Snow last year.
- 22:55Speaker 10: ODOT has more than 300 workers ready to battle the
- 22:58Speaker 10: winter weather, and they say they're still filling positions.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I'm Daniel Barnard.

- 23:07Speaker 11: and sports radio.
- 23:08Speaker 12: Podcasts, too.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Download the app.
- 23:11Speaker 8: Free never sounded so good. A to Z dependable services, plumbing, septic, heating, cooling,
- 23:17Speaker 8: and one-day baths.
- 23:18Speaker 2: You have a small section of Ford.
- 23:20Speaker 8: Ron Verb on News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 23:23Speaker 2: All right, let me get back to, I don't know,
- 23:27Speaker 2: this likable old codger. All right, go ahead.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Okay, now I've got to try and put everything I
- 23:33Speaker 7: was thinking about. But anyhow, I think my biggest problem
- 23:38Speaker 7: with Trump is I don't like.
- 23:42Speaker 7: Bullies that like to lie. And he's been caught so
- 23:48Speaker 7: many times. Think about it. When he was running for
- 23:51Speaker 7: president the first time, we got to get rid of
- 23:53Speaker 7: Obamacare because it's no good. But we'll have a better plan.
- 23:59Speaker 7: He wasn't going to work that. He wasn't even going
- 24:02Speaker 7: to try.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Well, they didn't get rid of it either.
- 24:05Speaker 7: It finally left, didn't it, because it was set at
- 24:09Speaker 7: the time that it was done, but nobody tried to
- 24:11Speaker 7: make a better plan. The only thing that they tried
- 24:16Speaker 7: to do was set it up so that Medicare could
- 24:19Speaker 7: talk to the people that make our medical stuff to
- 24:25Speaker 7: go into a program to say this is what the
- 24:28Speaker 7: price is going to be and work with it. I
- 24:32Speaker 7: just don't like bullies. But you want me.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you this. Just let's, as we
- 24:38Speaker 2: go along here, you don't like the lies. But, I mean,
- 24:42Speaker 2: I would have to ask you this question. What is,
- 24:46Speaker 2: think of one of the biggest lies you were ever told.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Biden's on top of things. He's as sharp as a tack.
- 24:52Speaker 2: He's running a country. And here you come to find
- 24:55Speaker 2: out he wasn't. He never had anything on his schedule.
- 24:59Speaker 2: He didn't have press conferences. He didn't have cabinet meetings.
- 25:03Speaker 2: And they were kind of sheltering from all of this.
- 25:06Speaker 2: And then this information comes out when he's done and
- 25:09Speaker 2: out of office. But meanwhile, Kamala Harris, the inner circle
- 25:14Speaker 2: all told you he was on top of things. Don't
- 25:16Speaker 2: believe your eyes when he's walking in the wrong direction,
- 25:19Speaker 2: when he's reading the cues in a teleprompter. Bow your head.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Look this way. Don't don't believe your eyes. Believe what
- 25:25Speaker 2: we're telling you. He's sharp as a tack. Oh, wait
- 25:28Speaker 2: a minute. Until the debate when we could no longer
- 25:31Speaker 2: cover it up. Then, of course, you know, as a
- 25:34Speaker 2: result of the debate, it was hard to lie about
- 25:36Speaker 2: it anymore. Now, there's a pretty big lie there when
- 25:39Speaker 2: they tell you how.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Oh, hang on.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I mean, I got one more for you. Here's another
- 25:43Speaker 2: big lie for you. The border's secure. And they told
- 25:47Speaker 2: you that. The borders are. Who never went to the border?
- 25:50Speaker 7: Harris.
- 25:51Speaker 2: The border is secure. And that was a total lie.
- 25:55Speaker 2: So the lies that Trump is telling you, and I
- 25:59Speaker 2: don't know which ones you mean specifically, but, I mean,
- 26:02Speaker 2: as far as the results, the results are pretty good.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I mean, that was the whole point of Cal Thomas.
- 26:09Speaker 2: How do you argue? Poverty rates down. Incomes are up.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Crime is down. That's pretty good. Borders closed. I mean,
- 26:17Speaker 2: the results matter.
- 26:19Speaker 7: Well, you see, at that point on the border, I'm 100%
- 26:25Speaker 7: behind you. I just don't like the way, because everybody
- 26:29Speaker 7: by our law has got their day in court.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Well, you do if you're an American.
- 26:36Speaker 7: Hold on. You spit your spew. Biden tried to set
- 26:41Speaker 7: things up towards the end of his presidency.
- 26:44Speaker 2: What about the first three and three-quarter years? I'm telling you,
- 26:50Speaker 2: and listen, I talked to you straightforward. They wanted an
- 26:53Speaker 2: open border. They ignored it. They let it happen, and
- 26:57Speaker 2: they neutered the Border Patrol. I mean, this is a reality. Period.
- 27:05Speaker 7: Well, then why in Biden's administration did they spend over
- 27:08Speaker 7: $ 10 million to enforce the border by getting more people
- 27:11Speaker 7: down there to work with them and getting up putting
- 27:15Speaker 7: up electrical.
- 27:16Speaker 4: They did not.
- 27:18Speaker 7: Drown sensors to see if they're digging.
- 27:20Speaker 2: They did not. As a matter of fact, as Robert
- 27:21Speaker 2: Kennedy said, back when he was a Democrat, they took
- 27:25Speaker 2: down the high-tech surveillance stuff. They removed it. They took
- 27:28Speaker 2: it down. I mean, that's just what I'm saying to you.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I mean, the results speak for themselves. Are the millions
- 27:36Speaker 2: of people that have come into your country illegally? I mean,
- 27:39Speaker 2: the border was not secure. Biden wanted it open. Trump
- 27:43Speaker 2: secured the border.
- 27:43Speaker 7: We both agree that the border had to be plugged up.
- 27:48Speaker 7: We had to put our finger in that dam to
- 27:50Speaker 7: stop it.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but they weren't. They didn't. Trump did.
- 27:52Speaker 8: Go ahead.
- 27:54Speaker 7: Well, then what about all the promises he made that
- 27:57Speaker 7: never even were even talked about anywhere? That I'm going
- 28:02Speaker 7: to fix this. I'm going to fix that. How about
- 28:05Speaker 7: the money that right now Trump is saying that what's
- 28:09Speaker 7: going on in Laker with the submarines being rebuilt and stuff?
- 28:16Speaker 7: Biden was in the forefront of that. He took that
- 28:19Speaker 7: and said, see, this is what I did. We got
- 28:22Speaker 7: a man in Houston who said he wants to be
- 28:25Speaker 7: in office again. But when it comes down to the
- 28:27Speaker 7: facts that, A, he took huge money from the electrical companies,
- 28:31Speaker 7: which is really hurting us. You and me, when we
- 28:34Speaker 7: go to pay our electric bill, then he turns around
- 28:37Speaker 7: and says, I think these centers should be opened up.
- 28:39Speaker 4: We need more.
- 28:40Speaker 7: Then he turns his tall tale on that and says, no,
- 28:43Speaker 7: we've got to look at this differently. And then his
- 28:47Speaker 7: wife buys a whole source of stock. Then on top
- 28:50Speaker 7: of that, let's add up what he did in Venezuela.
- 28:55Speaker 7: We didn't have a right to do that, but Trump
- 28:57Speaker 7: went ahead and did it. And none of them said, hey,
- 29:00Speaker 7: wait a minute.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Well, now, wait a minute. Let's take a look at,
- 29:03Speaker 2: you know, he did it in part because of the
- 29:06Speaker 2: drugs that were coming out of Venezuela. He made it clear.
- 29:10Speaker 7: They were coming across.
- 29:11Speaker 2: He made it clear. And he was also, all of
- 29:14Speaker 2: those boats that were bringing it over, he was bombing them,
- 29:16Speaker 2: taking them right out of the water. So now what
- 29:19Speaker 2: happened as a result of that? Wait a minute. Drug
- 29:23Speaker 2: deaths are down. Fentanyl is down. As a result of
- 29:27Speaker 2: simply doing the right thing, overdoses are down, drug deaths
- 29:31Speaker 2: are down, fentanyl issues are down. Because he actually did
- 29:35Speaker 2: something about it. You saw those videos of the boats
- 29:38Speaker 2: blowing up right there. in the water. And it's like,
- 29:42Speaker 2: you know, three or four people. And what did the
- 29:44Speaker 2: Democrats cry? How terrible that was. How they killed. And
- 29:48Speaker 2: basically they said, you see all that stuff floating? That's
- 29:50Speaker 2: all the drugs and that kind of stuff. And it
- 29:52Speaker 2: was somehow terrible. They should have let that boat arrive
- 29:55Speaker 2: and let it kill tens of thousands of American citizens.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I mean, the results are there.
- 30:03Speaker 7: If you look at the news and watch somewhat what's
- 30:08Speaker 7: going on, they're catching a lot of this stuff at
- 30:11Speaker 7: the border entry areas from Canada and from the United
- 30:15Speaker 7: States with more personnel.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Well, I don't know about that. I think they're certainly
- 30:21Speaker 2: empowering the police to do their job. Make no mistake.
- 30:25Speaker 2: And the Coast Guard and these people are doing their jobs.
- 30:29Speaker 2: This is the first time that I can remember I'm
- 30:32Speaker 2: blowing up these speedboats that are bringing drugs to our shores.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I can't remember anybody doing that.
- 30:39Speaker 7: You're right about that.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I mean, drug use is down. Lives are saved as
- 30:43Speaker 2: a result of it. I mean, come on, give the
- 30:46Speaker 2: guy some. The proof is in the pudding. The border
- 30:49Speaker 2: is secure. Drug use is down. Incomes are up. All
- 30:53Speaker 2: of this stuff, is it perfect?
- 30:55Speaker 12: No.
- 30:56Speaker 2: But it's a pretty good track record based on what
- 30:59Speaker 2: he got. And then all of these companies that are coming, well,
- 31:02Speaker 2: you don't build an auto plant in the blink of
- 31:04Speaker 2: an eye. I mean, all of this stuff is coming
- 31:09Speaker 2: and taking place. I mean, I just don't... You've got
- 31:14Speaker 2: to admit, in letting you keep more of your money,
- 31:18Speaker 2: no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, higher deductions
- 31:22Speaker 2: if you're on Social Security, that's all about you keeping
- 31:25Speaker 2: more of your money, not the government taking more of
- 31:27Speaker 2: your money.
- 31:29Speaker 7: What you're talking about there is you get that $ 6, 000
- 31:32Speaker 7: or $ 12, 000.
- 31:32Speaker 13: Yep.
- 31:33Speaker 7: That has limitations. In other words, as you make more
- 31:37Speaker 7: money on Social Security... you can get to the point where,
- 31:41Speaker 7: guess what, you don't get those deductions.
- 31:43Speaker 2: 85% of the people on Social Security get them. That's
- 31:48Speaker 2: a huge number.
- 31:50Speaker 7: Oh yeah, 85%. Because 85% that got it were people
- 31:55Speaker 7: that made below those certain levels.
- 31:56Speaker 2: No, it's the average person. I can sit here without
- 32:00Speaker 2: knowing and guarantee you, you get it.
- 32:02Speaker 13: I didn't.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Really?
- 32:04Speaker 2: I find that hard to believe.
- 32:06Speaker 7: Well, you can see that, but If you were to
- 32:08Speaker 7: look it up, you'd see the reason why I didn't.
- 32:12Speaker 7: I made $ 1, 000 over that limit.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Well, and here, how about you? You're making all this money.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Making all this money, huh? Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I mean, look at you. You got all this money
- 32:28Speaker 2: coming in.
- 32:29Speaker 7: It must be tough being a high roller like you.
- 32:32Speaker 2: You're the one that doesn't get the deduction.
- 32:36Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 7: That's okay because the rules were set that way. But
- 32:39Speaker 7: you've got to figure how many of that 85% that
- 32:42Speaker 7: got it.
- 32:43Speaker 2: It's just like the rules were set that way by
- 32:45Speaker 2: the Democrats on the supplement, additional supplements being given out
- 32:50Speaker 2: for Obamacare that the Democrats put in for five years.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Not permanent, temporary. And when they ended in five years,
- 32:57Speaker 2: now you've got a Sherrod Brown ad blaming John Husted
- 33:00Speaker 2: for that. Well, that was never intended to be permanent.
- 33:04Speaker 2: What a deceptive ad that is. You want to talk
- 33:06Speaker 2: about lying?
- 33:08Speaker 7: What they did is they brought it up for discussion.
- 33:11Speaker 7: The Democrats brought it up for discussion to see if
- 33:14Speaker 7: we could move this thing and help the people out
- 33:16Speaker 7: some more, because it did help.
- 33:19Speaker 8: Why?
- 33:19Speaker 2: Why should we do it? They were set to be
- 33:21Speaker 2: five years, just like the things that I mentioned to you.
- 33:24Speaker 2: No tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no deductions.
- 33:27Speaker 2: They're for three years. That will end, it's not forever,
- 33:31Speaker 2: in three years.
- 33:34Speaker 7: What I don't understand is... He's going to take the
- 33:38Speaker 7: working class, and he's going to give them these deductions. Fine, great, wonderful.
- 33:45Speaker 7: But then, on the tax breaks that he gave to
- 33:48Speaker 7: the rich... They're permanent. They're permanent people. And when you
- 33:53Speaker 7: do that, the federal government cannot raise enough money. So
- 33:57Speaker 7: they got to keep borrowing from the Social Security.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Oh, nonsense. The government keeps spending too much money on everything.
- 34:07Speaker 2: So on one hand, you're saying we should have spent
- 34:09Speaker 2: even more money giving more supplements out. Well, that just
- 34:12Speaker 2: increases the debt even more. I mean, if you seriously
- 34:17Speaker 2: want to cut government spending, you have to slash a
- 34:20Speaker 2: lot of it. But at the same time, you'll be
- 34:24Speaker 2: the first guy calling saying, well, look what they did
- 34:26Speaker 2: to people on all these handout programs. And I think
- 34:29Speaker 2: a lot of these handout programs are taken advantage of,
- 34:32Speaker 2: and a lot of people need a good kick in
- 34:34Speaker 2: the ass, go get a job and get back to work.
- 34:36Speaker 2: But if we did that, you would say, look how
- 34:38Speaker 2: cruel and vicious it is. At the same time, you're saying, well,
- 34:41Speaker 2: we've got to cut government spending. Well, you've got to
- 34:44Speaker 2: cut it somewhere.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Why did he all of a sudden say, no on Snap,
- 34:51Speaker 7: instead of saying, I need these people on Snap to
- 34:54Speaker 7: be reviewed, bring in their... last two years for taxes?
- 35:01Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you why.
- 35:01Speaker 7: He just said he just cut them off.
- 35:05Speaker 2: No, how dare them?
- 35:07Speaker 7: How dare them? Oh, baloney.
- 35:12Speaker 8: Baloney.
- 35:12Speaker 2: How dare them say that if you're of working age,
- 35:17Speaker 2: if you're of working age and able-bodied and healthy, you
- 35:22Speaker 2: have to work. You have to get a job. That's
- 35:27Speaker 2: how they changed it. So you couldn't sit on your
- 35:31Speaker 2: ass doing nothing, sponging off the dole, as many people do,
- 35:35Speaker 2: at 25 years of age.
- 35:37Speaker 7: How many hours do they have to work a week?
- 35:40Speaker 2: I think it's 20 or more.
- 35:41Speaker 14: Yeah, well.
- 35:44Speaker 7: Okay, 20 or more.
- 35:46Speaker 2: But don't you think it's right for somebody of work
- 35:50Speaker 2: age to sit on their ass and do nothing and
- 35:52Speaker 2: expect to collect health care and food stamps for the
- 35:56Speaker 2: rest of their life and not make a contribution, not
- 35:59Speaker 2: make an effort? They're laughing at you when you went
- 36:02Speaker 2: to work. They're thinking you're the idiot.
- 36:05Speaker 7: Who stopped it the first time when that was brought up?
- 36:08Speaker 7: The Republicans did.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I'm telling you, Donald J. Trump made it happen, and I...
- 36:14Speaker 2: I agree with it.
- 36:15Speaker 8: Listen, I'm going to.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Tell you something.
- 36:16Speaker 7: It wasn't Congress that did it.
- 36:18Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you something. Well, executive orders have power.
- 36:22Speaker 2: And they can be reversed, make no mistake. I'm going
- 36:24Speaker 2: to tell you something. I think there are far too
- 36:27Speaker 2: many people... who are sitting on their ass, doing nothing,
- 36:31Speaker 2: who have no one to blame but themselves. And I
- 36:34Speaker 2: don't think it's my responsibility to take care of everybody.
- 36:38Speaker 2: I think this is totally and completely out of control.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Did you hear me last week when I say this
- 36:46Speaker 2: to each and every one of you guys out there listening?
- 36:49Speaker 2: Each and every one of you listening. And I want
- 36:51Speaker 2: you to listen to it, old-timer. You go on out and, oh,
- 36:56Speaker 2: this MRDD levy is a huge levy. It is a
- 37:00Speaker 2: huge property tax, additional tax on your property. Do you
- 37:05Speaker 2: think it's going to pass? Not with my votes, but
- 37:08Speaker 2: let me tell you.
- 37:11Speaker 8: Wait a second.
- 37:12Speaker 2: No, hang on a second. Let me finish. Not with
- 37:15Speaker 2: my vote, it's not going to pass. And let me
- 37:17Speaker 2: tell you something. I say this to everybody. You keep
- 37:22Speaker 2: voting for this stuff because you say, oh, we need
- 37:25Speaker 2: this or this. It's only a few mils. You have
- 37:28Speaker 2: no idea what it's going to cost you. And here's
- 37:31Speaker 2: a real life scenario that I'm putting out for productive people.
- 37:35Speaker 2: And old timers. You fall into the latter category, old timer.
- 37:40Speaker 2: You can keep raising these property taxes. Then you take
- 37:43Speaker 2: somebody where you got two people on Social Security in
- 37:45Speaker 2: a household. One of them dies. And now that household
- 37:49Speaker 2: income is cut in half. Now they can't afford these
- 37:53Speaker 2: huge property taxes anymore. So they've been taxed right out
- 37:56Speaker 2: of their house because of somebody's death. Oh, wait a minute.
- 38:00Speaker 2: There's another scenario that I will give to all of
- 38:02Speaker 2: you that are working, which is going to be an
- 38:04Speaker 2: economic reality. As a result of AI, that will replace
- 38:09Speaker 2: a lot of jobs, a lot of well-paying jobs. We
- 38:12Speaker 2: already see it happening as a result of technology. And
- 38:16Speaker 2: guess what? You say, well, I'm not on Social Security,
- 38:20Speaker 2: so you both are working and both have decent jobs
- 38:23Speaker 2: and incomes. Guess what? One of the two of you
- 38:25Speaker 2: loses your job because of A.I., can't find another one
- 38:29Speaker 2: that pays anywhere near what you were making because that
- 38:31Speaker 2: will be the effect of A.I., Now we've priced you
- 38:34Speaker 2: out of your house as well. So everybody better think
- 38:37Speaker 2: long and damn hard before they vote yes for any
- 38:41Speaker 2: levy outside of police, fire, and ambulance and road departments.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Outside of supporting your police, fire, and road departments, you
- 38:50Speaker 2: better think damn hard before you vote for any, and
- 38:53Speaker 2: I mean any, additional levies. And I'm telling you that
- 38:56Speaker 2: just as a public service because I can see what's ahead.
- 39:01Speaker 8: Where it's going with A.I., Okay, can I talk now?
- 39:06Speaker 2: And I also spoke of you because somebody in your
- 39:09Speaker 2: household could die because you're an old, old foger. And
- 39:13Speaker 2: let's say tomorrow, who knows if you're going to be.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Around.
- 39:18Speaker 15: You're right.
- 39:18Speaker 7: I figure you've got a couple more days here.
- 39:21Speaker 4: But anyhow, due to.
- 39:24Speaker 7: You talking about that MRDD thing, this was never, ever before.
- 39:30Speaker 7: up until your show brought it up. But what surprises
- 39:33Speaker 7: me is, how is it on the local news these
- 39:38Speaker 7: sort of things are never brought up and talked about?
- 39:41Speaker 2: Let me go one more step here.
- 39:42Speaker 16: When you talk about it, I watched 33.
- 39:47Speaker 7: At the bottom of the screen, it tells me how
- 39:50Speaker 7: the NASDAQ and everything else is doing. And I can't believe,
- 39:56Speaker 7: in the past 10 years of watching it, how much
- 40:00Speaker 7: red is on the bottom saying where they lost. Now,
- 40:03Speaker 7: that's what they're putting out. But thanks to you, but
- 40:07Speaker 7: what I don't understand is why isn't none of the
- 40:09Speaker 7: local radio stations, other than yourselves and television stations, reporting
- 40:15Speaker 7: this as to what's going on? You laid the facts
- 40:18Speaker 7: out there, and I'm going, wow. I've done that a
- 40:23Speaker 7: few times.
- 40:24Speaker 2: You know, the last time I heard a wow was
- 40:26Speaker 2: on my honeymoon. I'll see you later, okay? I'll be
- 40:31Speaker 2: right back.
- 40:31Speaker 7: I wonder what that was about.
- 40:34Speaker 6: For 50 years, Sharon Brown.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Wine all day long. Great food, amazing value. Cheers to Monday.
- 40:42Speaker 8: With new triple pain and talk station 570 WKBN.
- 40:46Speaker 2: From news radio 570 WKBN. And so Ron verb, that guy,
- 40:51Speaker 2: something about that guy. I know you guys are going
- 40:53Speaker 2: to think, I just, I enjoy that guy's conversation because
- 40:56Speaker 2: he's just, we can disagree and yet have a civil
- 41:00Speaker 2: conversation and yet agree on some things in a civil conversation,
- 41:06Speaker 2: which is kind of refreshing. He's just got that old
- 41:09Speaker 2: guy folksiness about him.
- 41:11Speaker 8: 330-729-9977.
- 41:12Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 41:16Speaker 12: Hello?
- 41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I can barely hear you. Call me right back.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I'm going to hang up on you and call me
- 41:26Speaker 2: right back. I'll try to keep your line open, all right?
- 41:29Speaker 2: I can hear you're there, but I can barely hear you.
- 41:32Speaker 2: But I'll do my best to try to keep that
- 41:35Speaker 2: line open. 330-729-9977. We'll get you through to us on
- 41:39Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Better yet, if you call me back,
- 41:42Speaker 2: I'll hook up with you after the news break at
- 41:45Speaker 2: 4 o'clock, unless this is you. You're on the air. Well,
- 41:53Speaker 2: that can't be on my ends. I don't think so.
- 41:55Speaker 8: All right.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Let me try again. Well, I don't know. Call me back.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Let me clear them lines up if you want to
- 42:02Speaker 2: get on board. That's a good time. I'll just wipe
- 42:08Speaker 2: out all that. Now you'll get through. 330-729-9977. If you'd
- 42:14Speaker 2: like to conversate on a program, we're here until 6
- 42:16Speaker 2: o'clock tonight taking your calls. On this beautiful Monday afternoon,

- 43:07Speaker 2: Still overall up for the year. That's the good news.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Up about 12 to 14 percent, which still makes it

- 44:39Speaker 13: Our movement is about public servants who are putting America
- 44:43Speaker 13: first for a change.
- 44:45Speaker 8: Isn't it about damn time?
- 44:47Speaker 18: Vice President J.D. Vance highlighting what's changed in the past
- 44:50Speaker 18: few years, including tax cuts.
- 44:52Speaker 13: We took money away from the bureaucrats and we put
- 44:56Speaker 13: it back in the hands of the people who built
- 44:59Speaker 13: this country right here in Montana.
- 45:01Speaker 18: He also visits Kansas today while President Trump will rally
- 45:04Speaker 18: in Mississippi. In Kansas, Methodist pastor Adam Hamilton is the
- 45:09Speaker 18: Democrat trying to unseat Republican Senator Roger Marshall, but says
- 45:13Speaker 18: he wants to bring people together.
- 45:14Speaker 8: It's not, again, Republican or Democrat. It's normal or abnormal.
- 45:17Speaker 2: It's decent or indecent.
- 45:19Speaker 4: It's kind or it's cruel.
- 45:21Speaker 2: We just have to do better up there.
- 45:22Speaker 18: That's one of many tight races in polling across the country.
- 45:25Speaker 18: House Democrats announcing new spending on Republican-leaning districts in Indiana
- 45:30Speaker 18: and Minnesota, while progressives highlight their Medicare-for-all proposal today in Minnesota.
- 45:36Speaker 18: A federal judge is ordering the Trump administration to reinstate
- 45:39Speaker 18: fired federal prosecutor Maureen Comey with back pay, ruling that
- 45:43Speaker 18: her termination was unlawful.
- 45:45Speaker 14: Comey was fired as an assistant U.S. attorney for the
- 45:48Speaker 14: Southern District of New York in July 2025. Judge Jesse
- 45:52Speaker 14: Furman says while the attorney general is authorized to remove
- 45:55Speaker 14: assistant U.S. attorneys, Comey's firing violated the Civil Service Reform
- 46:00Speaker 14: Act that limits removals for only certain causes. Maureen Comey
- 46:04Speaker 14: is the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey. He
- 46:08Speaker 14: has been indicted over an Instagram post prosecutors allege was
- 46:11Speaker 14: a threat to President Trump.
- 46:13Speaker 18: Fox's Jared Halpern at the White House. The Justice Department
- 46:16Speaker 18: says it disagrees with today's ruling and plans to appeal.
- 46:19Speaker 18: A partial rebound on Wall Street. The Dow up 148 points.

- 47:41Speaker 2: IDO 405, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. 72 degrees, sun is shining
- 47:47Speaker 2: here in the kingdom of Mahoning, and Ron Verb with you.
- 47:49Speaker 2: It's a little Rockport Wealth Truth Investing Program. You're on
- 47:52Speaker 2: the air.
- 47:54Speaker 4: So, Ron, how are you, sir?
- 47:57Speaker 2: I'm well, thank you.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Hey, I got a question for you. And I don't
- 48:00Speaker 4: know how you're going to take this, but I had
- 48:02Speaker 4: this thought.
- 48:03Speaker 2: It's the guru of Gerard. I was trying to identify,
- 48:06Speaker 2: just to make certain it was your voice. Hello, guru.
- 48:10Speaker 8: Hello.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Hey, by the way, I sent you a link. It's
- 48:13Speaker 4: pretty cool. We'll talk about it another day. But I'm
- 48:15Speaker 4: calculating all of the results of the mail-in, like instantaneously,
- 48:20Speaker 4: as they get updated every day. And pretty soon it
- 48:23Speaker 4: will be over the whole state. So I'm hoping by
- 48:25Speaker 4: Election Day.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Did you hear on our newscast where it said... This
- 48:29Speaker 2: can't be good. 20% more Democrats early voting than Republicans.
- 48:37Speaker 8: 20%.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Yes. I mean.
- 48:39Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 48:41Speaker 4: I've seen that all over in these results, Ron. It's
- 48:44Speaker 4: about that, right?
- 48:45Speaker 13: Like, so.
- 48:47Speaker 4: And I can actually, you know, it's a very powerful tool.
- 48:50Speaker 4: We'll talk about it later. That's really the only interesting thing.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, think about that. 20%. Here's my problem.
- 48:59Speaker 2: You know, Republicans, get off your ass. It is an
- 49:02Speaker 2: important election that's taking place and can have a monument.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I hate to say it. It looks to me like
- 49:09Speaker 2: Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown are going to win this
- 49:12Speaker 2: thing and not with my vote. But if you're too
- 49:14Speaker 2: lazy to get off your ass and go out and
- 49:16Speaker 2: vote Republican, shame on you. At least the Democrats have.
- 49:19Speaker 8: My friend.
- 49:20Speaker 4: How many times did you discourage people even against voting early?
- 49:25Speaker 2: I'm not an early voter.
- 49:27Speaker 4: I've heard you say it many times.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I vote on Election Day.
- 49:31Speaker 4: It's not over until it's over yet. The only thing
- 49:33Speaker 4: is 20% more Democrats showed up early than Republicans. Election
- 49:38Speaker 4: Day is the real story. Especially when, for months, you
- 49:41Speaker 4: keep saying, don't go vote early. Go vote on Election Day.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I vote on Election Day, but that's not a
- 49:46Speaker 2: good sign. No, it's not a good sign when it's
- 49:48Speaker 2: that huge of a number. Well, change your tune.
- 49:50Speaker 4: You can be as powerful as Trump in this area
- 49:53Speaker 4: and call him out to vote if that's what you want.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to vote on Election Day, but all
- 49:59Speaker 2: I'm doing is pointing out that's a huge percentage gap.
- 50:03Speaker 21: Well.
- 50:04Speaker 4: Until then, it's going to stay 20% more for the
- 50:07Speaker 4: next 10 days because, you know, it's going to.
- 50:10Speaker 12: Right.
- 50:10Speaker 2: And what does your machine say? What does your magic
- 50:12Speaker 2: machine say in Trumbull County?
- 50:16Speaker 4: It's about the same thing.
- 50:17Speaker 16: I sent you.
- 50:18Speaker 4: You can look at it right there. Like, you know,
- 50:21Speaker 4: I did 15 counties so far, and I have, what,
- 50:23Speaker 4: there's 88 total. So I'm moving as fast as I can.
- 50:27Speaker 4: But it's going to serve a lot of purposes. But
- 50:29Speaker 4: you'll be able to instantly check... What's happening on election night?
- 50:35Speaker 4: What happened with those election ballots coming in? You'll know.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Because every day, all the board of elections around the state,
- 50:42Speaker 4: they update their websites.
- 50:44Speaker 8: And the guru knows.
- 50:45Speaker 4: How to read them all.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Yes, but what's interesting to me, guru of Gerard, is
- 50:50Speaker 2: this isn't like a primary where you've got to pick
- 50:52Speaker 2: a Republican or Democrat ballot. You just go in and vote.
- 50:57Speaker 2: So what are they basing that on? That you voted
- 51:01Speaker 2: and that you're a registered Democrat?
- 51:03Speaker 4: Okay, so, yes, it's affiliation. You're one of four things.
- 51:07Speaker 4: You're a Democrat, you're a Republican, you're a Libertarian, or
- 51:11Speaker 4: you are unaffiliated. At least in Trumbull County. I'm sure
- 51:13Speaker 4: there might be some smaller parties like Green, maybe still,
- 51:16Speaker 4: I don't know, but that people were registered to. But
- 51:19Speaker 4: all it's doing at this time is saying, at the
- 51:22Speaker 4: time they voted, they were registered as this party affiliation.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:29Speaker 4: And they're from this town. And that's it. You know
- 51:31Speaker 4: what I mean? Like, you don't know how they voted.
- 51:32Speaker 12: You can't, you know, it's illegal.
- 51:34Speaker 4: So, so yeah, 20% more registered Democrats have voted. But
- 51:41Speaker 4: keep in mind, there is a whole lot more. Look
- 51:45Speaker 4: at those numbers I sent you on the unaffiliated. There
- 51:48Speaker 4: are more than both of them put together. So it's
- 51:51Speaker 4: still a total crash. They just like that headline.
- 51:54Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
- 51:54Speaker 4: It gives them that, you know what I mean? It's that,
- 51:57Speaker 4: It's that news. Every time they can, you know, push
- 52:01Speaker 4: one side, they do.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Well, how do you assess the current situation? I mean,
- 52:07Speaker 2: from your political views, if you will. I mean, analysis
- 52:11Speaker 2: from the guru.
- 52:16Speaker 4: So I said it all along. Logically, you said Vivek
- 52:22Speaker 4: is probably the more prepared and better choice, but he's
- 52:28Speaker 4: not popular, I think, because of his ethnicity. You know,
- 52:32Speaker 4: even my neighbor said, he's from India. I'm like, his
- 52:35Speaker 4: parents were from India. You know, mine is from Italy.
- 52:38Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
- 52:39Speaker 6: He's in America.
- 52:40Speaker 4: He's from Cincinnati. He's just got this fuzzy muptop on
- 52:44Speaker 4: his head, you know?
- 52:45Speaker 16: You know, so.
- 52:48Speaker 4: But I think that alone is really hurting, you know?
- 52:50Speaker 4: I really do.
- 52:51Speaker 12: And I just wish.
- 52:54Speaker 4: people would have read the tea leaves in Ohio to
- 52:57Speaker 4: know that might be an issue. Quite frankly, Jim Trestle
- 53:04Speaker 4: would have been a great runner. We wouldn't even be
- 53:07Speaker 4: having this conversation if he had run it.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Boy, I give you an eye, Captain, on that. I
- 53:12Speaker 2: think it was Ted the Conservative that was saying that
- 53:15Speaker 2: as well. Was it him? I think it was him.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I said it back then. Oh, okay. Well, maybe it
- 53:21Speaker 2: was you then that said if Trestle was the nominee,
- 53:26Speaker 2: he would overwhelmingly win and he would be a Republican,
- 53:30Speaker 2: not some people say like a DeWine-like Republican, but still
- 53:34Speaker 2: a Republican. But he could have won.
- 53:37Speaker 4: I can honestly say my friend, I don't care whether
- 53:40Speaker 4: it's a Democrat or Republican that wins. It's about the individual.
- 53:44Speaker 4: And I think the fact that she won't debate is
- 53:47Speaker 4: a real tell. So, you know what I mean? Cause that's,
- 53:50Speaker 4: it's just, I don't have faith that if she wins,
- 53:53Speaker 4: it's going to be like another Biden, maybe who's in,
- 53:55Speaker 4: you know, keep her in the, keep her in the basement.
- 53:57Speaker 4: Somebody else run it. You know, the, uh, the prodigy
- 54:02Speaker 4: already had, he's always said to me, um, You know,
- 54:06Speaker 4: he's very experienced in politics. And he's already said, you
- 54:09Speaker 4: know how they say, like, vote blue no matter who?
- 54:13Speaker 4: You know, what that really means is they trust the
- 54:15Speaker 4: party to take care of things more than any one individual.
- 54:19Speaker 4: Republicans are horrible at that. Right? You know, they just don't...
- 54:24Speaker 4: And I don't know. I mean, it's probably good, but
- 54:27Speaker 4: I don't really think it's the greatest thing. Because, look,
- 54:29Speaker 4: when you see Biden, he was... Didn't even have a mind.
- 54:33Speaker 4: Everybody called the president, you know, saying he was making decisions,
- 54:36Speaker 4: which he wasn't. So I don't like that, you know.
- 54:40Speaker 4: But that's what, you know, I got from him, talking
- 54:44Speaker 4: to him, he's like, I don't care.
- 54:46Speaker 16: If it happens, but, you know, they got control.
- 54:50Speaker 4: They'll figure it out once they get anybody, whoever they want.
- 54:52Speaker 4: They're the party. They're the board. And that's the way
- 54:55Speaker 4: the Democrats think. And maybe I used to think like that.
- 54:58Speaker 4: I don't know. I was never really like a hard
- 55:00Speaker 4: and fast on anything. But I really, my new saying is,
- 55:06Speaker 4: tell me why I should vote for someone, not who
- 55:09Speaker 4: I should hate.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Right.
- 55:12Speaker 4: Can I say something that's totally different I called for?
- 55:14Speaker 7: Yes. All right.
- 55:17Speaker 4: So would you say that AI is displacing hundreds of
- 55:21Speaker 4: thousands of people in this country right now? And their jobs?
- 55:26Speaker 4: And you look at the numbers, you know?
- 55:29Speaker 2: I would say that two things. I would say that
- 55:33Speaker 2: AI is deplacing a lot of people. I don't know, thousands.
- 55:38Speaker 2: I'd say thousands of people have been replaced by AI.
- 55:41Speaker 2: And I think thousands of people are being replaced by
- 55:44Speaker 2: work shifting to India, which is not AI, but going
- 55:47Speaker 2: over to India. I'm talking in the high-tech area. What
- 55:53Speaker 2: would you say?
- 55:53Speaker 7: Okay.
- 55:55Speaker 16: I would agree, okay?
- 55:56Speaker 4: Now, why is it that that's basically the government let
- 56:01Speaker 4: that happen to that whole demographic of people, right?
- 56:05Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 56:06Speaker 4: There's not many. They just let it happen, right? Oh,
- 56:09Speaker 4: here's AI. Oh, yeah, it's going to get rid of
- 56:11Speaker 4: all these jobs.
- 56:11Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you this, though. How do you
- 56:15Speaker 2: fight technology? I mean, I've never seen any way to
- 56:19Speaker 2: fight it.
- 56:20Speaker 4: That's what I wanted you to.
- 56:20Speaker 15: Say, okay?
- 56:21Speaker 16: So, how come.
- 56:25Speaker 4: The Chinese technology for cars, which is many, many, many
- 56:30Speaker 4: times cheaper, how come that's not allowed? Who's it going
- 56:35Speaker 4: to display? Why are they more important than all these
- 56:37Speaker 4: other people? Because they have a union. All the people
- 56:41Speaker 4: that do data management in this country do not have
- 56:42Speaker 4: a union, so the only ones in charge, the only
- 56:44Speaker 4: ones that are pumping the politicians are the guys that
- 56:47Speaker 4: own the big tech companies, and they want this. They
- 56:49Speaker 4: want to treat everybody like slaves.
- 56:51Speaker 16: And they let them.
- 56:53Speaker 4: But the car... company. They went through that. They have
- 56:56Speaker 4: the auto union. You know, whatever they're called. I forget. AFL-CIO.
- 57:01Speaker 2: No, that's... UAW.
- 57:02Speaker 4: Yeah, UAW.
- 57:04Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 57:05Speaker 4: And they don't do that because of them. Because they
- 57:11Speaker 4: have a pocket of money that they line the pockets
- 57:14Speaker 4: of politicians. And so... Like, that's what it's about. You
- 57:19Speaker 4: know what I mean? Like, they're picking winners and losers
- 57:23Speaker 4: based on political contributions. That's all I wanted to say.
- 57:26Speaker 4: It's not, you know, so if you find yourself, you're
- 57:29Speaker 4: out of a job over AI, but then the autoworker
- 57:32Speaker 4: says to you, sorry, man, you've got to pay $ 60, 000.
- 57:35Speaker 4: You can't pay $ 17, 000. You've got to pay $ 60, 000. Because
- 57:38Speaker 4: you've got to pay us.
- 57:40Speaker 8: Okay?
- 57:40Speaker 12: Right.
- 57:42Speaker 4: That's what's going on in this country. So, you know,
- 57:45Speaker 4: get mad at who you need to get mad at,
- 57:46Speaker 4: but That's what's happened, and I just wanted to point
- 57:48Speaker 4: that out. It was an observation that I made.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Man, oh man, it's an observation. So do you think
- 57:54Speaker 2: they should be allowing those Chinese cars into the country?
- 57:58Speaker 4: At this point, I would say yes.
- 57:59Speaker 16: It's okay to let off 50,000, 100,000 people.
- 58:01Speaker 12: In one, but not another.
- 58:01Speaker 16: You know? Yeah, yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 8: I just.
- 58:13Speaker 2: How do I put this? When I'm talking about AI,
- 58:17Speaker 2: do you get my drift when I'm saying to people,
- 58:21Speaker 2: think long and hard before you vote for any additional
- 58:23Speaker 2: property taxes? Because too often we talk just about senior
- 58:27Speaker 2: citizens and if somebody dies and their household income being
- 58:31Speaker 2: cut in half or what this can do to them. Well,
- 58:34Speaker 2: I want people to know that are working. That's you
- 58:38Speaker 2: think you got two good jobs. Well, I can replace
- 58:40Speaker 2: one of them very quickly and you'll have a hard
- 58:42Speaker 2: time finding something that pays close to what you used
- 58:45Speaker 2: to have. Don't put yourself in that dilemma because because
- 58:49Speaker 2: there's so-called compassion. Oh, you got to, you know, we
- 58:52Speaker 2: work government. We got all this compassion. That government's going
- 58:55Speaker 2: to come to your house and tell you, you got
- 58:56Speaker 2: to get the hell out. We're auctioning a place off.
- 58:59Speaker 4: That's another point, right? Like you always argue, oh, we
- 59:02Speaker 4: get rid of the auto industry like the steel industry
- 59:04Speaker 4: and all those people that were paying taxes, they no
- 59:05Speaker 4: longer pay taxes anymore. So now the government, they need
- 59:08Speaker 4: to collect more from the other people to have the
- 59:10Speaker 4: same kind of services. All this same stuff is going
- 59:13Speaker 4: on With this technology change that no one cares about,
- 59:16Speaker 4: I don't really care. Ron, I'm fine. I made it through.
- 59:19Speaker 4: But there's young people.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Right, because of your age.
- 59:21Speaker 4: Their whole lives are going to be deathly.
- 59:23Speaker 2: That's right.
- 59:25Speaker 4: And by the way, I think for me, I figured
- 59:27Speaker 4: out enough where I'm going to probably end up okay.
- 59:30Speaker 4: But I can tell you that one out of 100
- 59:34Speaker 4: is going to do that, and the other 99 are not.
- 59:37Speaker 2: So let me just ask you this. I'll turn the
- 59:40Speaker 2: floor over to you. You know that probably as good
- 59:44Speaker 2: as anybody. So what do you think is going to
- 59:47Speaker 2: be happening very shortly here with people in these upper pay,
- 59:54Speaker 2: white-collar jobs as we see AI continue to emerge?
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: Unless.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: these guys start collecting more money off these data centers
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: that are doing the work of people without collecting taxes,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: then I think it's going to be like Paris before
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: you know it.
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: Here.
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: And if they go down there and they stop, one,
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: you've got to stop the inflation. You've got to stop spending.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Unless you're going to actually charge a lot more for
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: these things, these auto things, and get more and pump
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: it right into the economy to pay for things. We
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: were talking about that. By the way, they said that
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: universal income, come on. That sounds a lot like Social Security.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: They'll collect for it, invest it into something else when
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: it's time to pay. It's like, oh, yeah, you know,
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: kind of tough, kind of tight, sorry. You know what
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: I mean? But if they don't get this together and
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: they keep spending, you're going to have Paris and Youngstown eventually.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Because it's just inevitable. I mean, I think the economy
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: is good, but it's shifting so fast that many people
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: are left. It's been almost a year I've been retooling.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: I'm finally just now feeling like I have something to
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: offer again. And that was an incredible amount of work
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: during that year. And I just don't think many are
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: going to do it, especially at my age. And if
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: you're young and you never knew what I knew, I'm
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: not sure you could get at this spot with AI.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: You know what I mean? Like, I know what it
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: means to do it by hand, you know? And so
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: I know what to expect I wanted to do. So
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: to me, it's like working with another developer because I
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: can tell exactly what to do. But if you just
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: start telling AI, go do this, it'll go do all
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: kinds of crazy stuff. And, you know, if you have
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: to control it and you have to know how to
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: control it. So I'm just saying a lot of people,
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: these younger kids that didn't go through the career that
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: I did, they're not going to know any of that.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: And I just don't know.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: You don't think the Indians are afraid of this, too?
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Yes, I do. I mean, yeah. But you see how
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: much stuff is taken out of America and shifted over
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: to India where they make $ 5, 000 instead of $ 125, 000. So it's–
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: or you see that take its place. Now you're reading
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: where AI is– I mean, it's incredible what it can
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: do in replacing all kinds of people that you just
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: don't need. And the more I read about it, and
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: this is your field of expertise, you're talking hundreds of
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: thousands of people will, in a short period of time,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: be losing their jobs. Now– Just like you said, to
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: people my age and your age, that really doesn't matter
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: because we're close to the end of our lives. However,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: somebody that's in their 30s and 40s and 50s, that's
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: a serious problem that they're going to have. And I
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: think it will be shocking how many jobs it will eliminate.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: And my point is, so that's all over technology and efficiencies,
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: but when it comes to something else that's political, we
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: can't do it. We still make everybody pay all that.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: Think all the money you could save, Ron. If a
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: car costs rather than $ 60, 000, it costs $ 16, 000.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Think of how much more money is in your pocket.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Exactly. Well, no, I mean, I get that, but I just.
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: I don't want it.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: I mean, but.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: AI is going to be just an eye-opening experience, I think, within...
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: It's taking place now, but I think it'll be more
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: eye-opening within what time frame? Two years or less?
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: It's going to be profound changes on our society. And
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: it's not just because it can do everything, like make
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: its own decisions. It's just because all these things that
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: are rote... that the younger crew used to do, you know,
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: the less experienced stuff, just kind of almost busy work.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: You could tell it, do it, and it's so defined
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: that it can do it really well. If you ask
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: AI what's the meaning of life, it's going to just
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: puke on you, okay? But if you tell it, I
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: need a report that scans these three data sources and
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: produces this outcome, boom, man, you turn your head and
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: it's there. You know what I mean? That kind of
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: thing it's good at. So I don't know. And by
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: the way, separate AI from data centers, okay? Because they're
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: two different things. So that's all I can say. Because,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: you know, you've had AI for years. I mean, you
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: could do AI back in, like, the 90s. But if
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: you want to solve genome equations, you know, for DNA
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: and disease and stuff, you're going.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: To need data centers. There you go. It's not artificial intelligence.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: It's real intelligence from the guru in Gerard. Thank you, Mike.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Appreciate it. We'll be right back.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: For 50 years, Sherrod Brown voted how he was told.
- 1:04:55Speaker 23: 1975 to today, different presidents, different issues, but Sherrod Brown's
- 1:05:00Speaker 23: vote never changed.
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: Higher taxes, Brown voted for them.
- 1:05:04Speaker 23: Open borders, Brown voted for them. Sex changes for kids,
- 1:05:09Speaker 23: Sherrod Brown supported that too. When Washington Democrats needed Brown's vote,
- 1:05:14Speaker 23: he gave it every time. Sherrod Brown voted with Biden 97%.
- 1:05:20Speaker 23: schumer 95 bernie sanders 92 that was the democrat party
- 1:05:26Speaker 23: he joined 50 years ago but times have changed now
- 1:05:30Speaker 23: extremists are taking over they're not asking for your vote
- 1:05:34Speaker 23: they're coming for your country and sherrod brown will fall
- 1:05:37Speaker 23: in line he always does Sharon Brown. Times changed. His
- 1:05:42Speaker 23: vote never does. Paid for by SLF PAC and not
- 1:05:45Speaker 23: authorized by any candidate or candidates to committee.

- 1:05:50Speaker 6: content of this ad. Hey, is your roof.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: And talk station 570 WKBN.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Good afternoon. 425 in the afternoon. It's a lovely day.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Ron from the kingdom of Mahoney on this October 26th
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: at 73 degrees. Just a perfect afternoon. You're on the air.
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: Hey, Ron.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Emmanuel.
- 1:06:14Speaker 12: Listen, first of all, there's two things I want to
- 1:06:15Speaker 12: talk to you about. I hope we got some time
- 1:06:17Speaker 12: to talk.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: I'm listening, sir.
- 1:06:20Speaker 12: Well, the first thing is, I know he's listening. And
- 1:06:24Speaker 12: if he's not, then whoever knows him, they need to
- 1:06:27Speaker 12: tell him this, right? I want to apologize to Michael Rooley. Okay?
- 1:06:34Speaker 12: He was on your show a while back. And we
- 1:06:37Speaker 12: were going round and round about gerrymandering in the districts.
- 1:06:43Speaker 12: And he told me, he said, listen, you should have
- 1:06:47Speaker 12: took the first one because it could be worse. And
- 1:06:51Speaker 12: you know what? I realized that Michael Rooley was doing
- 1:06:55Speaker 12: the way he was raised to be. He was telling
- 1:06:58Speaker 12: me the truth. It was so shocking. The truth was
- 1:07:02Speaker 12: so shocking. I'm like, I thought this guy was crazy.
- 1:07:05Speaker 12: But he was telling me the truth because he went
- 1:07:07Speaker 12: down there to Columbus, and he seen how the Republicans
- 1:07:09Speaker 12: down there were saying that they're going to fix the
- 1:07:13Speaker 12: property taxes, but they ain't going to do nothing about that, right,
- 1:07:16Speaker 12: and other stuff. Okay, so, Mike, I'm truly sorry. I
- 1:07:21Speaker 12: appreciate you being honest with me and treating me like
- 1:07:24Speaker 12: a human being and telling me the truth. But, man,
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: it shocked me. Now, here's the second thing. This one
- 1:07:29Speaker 12: is on you, Ron. I got a problem with you.
- 1:07:34Speaker 12: Because every time I mention the word discrimination, you start
- 1:07:39Speaker 12: talking about blacks and whites. And I keep telling you, Ron,
- 1:07:44Speaker 12: it's not about black and white. Well, I'm going to
- 1:07:48Speaker 12: explain to you why it is not about black and white.
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: I want Ron Verbe to feel the same thing that
- 1:08:01Speaker 12: we're feeling, and I want him to tell me. that
- 1:08:05Speaker 12: he would be okay with this. This started a decade ago, Ron,
- 1:08:12Speaker 12: when President Trump said, well, if I win the election,
- 1:08:16Speaker 12: it's okay. If I lose the election, I'm going to
- 1:08:21Speaker 12: fight it.
- 1:08:23Speaker 16: Get to be president, right? And what does he say?
- 1:08:29Speaker 12: He looks at Alaska. He says, well, If the Republicans
- 1:08:35Speaker 12: don't win in Alaska, I'm going to send my, he
- 1:08:40Speaker 12: didn't say our, my Justice Department, and I'm not going
- 1:08:43Speaker 12: to certify it. He has nothing to do with that, right?
- 1:08:46Speaker 12: So that's discriminating against the Democrats out there. Then he says, well,
- 1:08:52Speaker 12: if the Republicans win, I'll give everybody $ 5, 000.
- 1:08:56Speaker 16: If they don't win.
- 1:08:59Speaker 12: we ain't getting nothing. That's just screaming against the Democrats. Now,
- 1:09:03Speaker 12: the Democrats are white, black, young, old, fat, skinny. You've
- 1:09:07Speaker 12: seen them all, right? And he's not done yet. Then
- 1:09:11Speaker 12: he says, he's been doing this wrong. And you can
- 1:09:14Speaker 12: check into it. I want G2 to check into it.
- 1:09:17Speaker 12: All the states that send money to the government don't
- 1:09:22Speaker 12: get money back. California's one of them. They send more
- 1:09:27Speaker 12: money to the government than they get back. New York's
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: one of them. The bottom eight states that take the
- 1:09:35Speaker 12: most money from the government are Republicans. Once again, the
- 1:09:40Speaker 12: Democrats are being discriminated against. And he keeps money that's
- 1:09:46Speaker 12: supposed to go to the blue states because he didn't
- 1:09:48Speaker 12: win that state. He doesn't get the money they're supposed
- 1:09:51Speaker 12: to have. Now, Ron, if somebody was doing you like that,
- 1:09:55Speaker 12: wouldn't you be mad?
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Is that your argument?
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: We pay taxes, too, Ron.
- 1:10:07Speaker 12: We have no say-so in the state government.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: There are states that probably pay more to larger states
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: that pay more to the federal government than they get back.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: That's probably true. That's not probably.
- 1:10:21Speaker 16: That's absolutely true.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no. I didn't say that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: It's based on population. Make it into something it's not.
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: When I say discrimination, I am not talking about black
- 1:10:36Speaker 12: and whites. You understand that, right?
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: I understand exactly what you said. It's based on population.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: They pay more in because it's heavy populated areas than
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: less populated areas. That's why they don't get as much back.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: All right. That's ridiculous. You're on the air. I'm standby.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: I'll come back to you in a minute. Stay tuned.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 1:11:08Speaker 10: Over one million ballots have been cast across the state
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: as of last Friday, according to the Ohio Secretary of
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: State's office. These numbers put the Buckeye State on track
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: to set an all-time record for early voter turnout in
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: a midterm election. So far, Democratic primary voters have had
- 1:11:24Speaker 10: a better turnout than Republicans by about 20 percent. Election
- 1:11:28Speaker 10: day is one week from tomorrow on Tuesday, November 3rd. Meantime,
- 1:11:33Speaker 10: the Ohio Department of Transportation has begun its winter prep.

- 1:11:47Speaker 10: ODOT has more than 300 workers ready to battle the

- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Download the app.
- 1:12:03Speaker 15: Free.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: Never sounded so good. A to Z dependable services. Plumbing, septic, heating, cooling,
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: and one-day baths.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Dealing with slow.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. 4.34 in the afternoon,
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: 73 degrees. Ron Verb in the Kingdom of Mahoney on
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: just a gorgeous-looking Monday afternoon. It's going to be a
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: nice-looking week weather-wise. How about that Emanuel? I mean, he's
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: just going to vote for all that lunacy Democrat stuff.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: And really, you should really have your head examined. Where
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: was it? Ron, could you read that Cal Thomas thing
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: you did at the beginning of the show? Well, I
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: sure can. I thought it was a really good article.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: Just to put it out there to people. Yeah, so
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Cal Thomas says, if politics were logical, Republicans should be
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: leading in the polls and looking forward to maintaining, even
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: expanding their congressional majorities. Putting aside President Trump's annoying personality,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: his vulgar language, and his narcissistic behavior. As difficult as
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: that might be for many people, Republicans should be asking
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: voters these questions. Do you remember why you voted out
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: the Democrats two years ago because of their economic and
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: crazy policies like transgender athletes in women's sports? If you do,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: why would you return them to the majority in Congress,
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: which will result in investigations and another possible impeachment of
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: the president? Will that improve your life? Yes, the Iran
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: war is frustrating, but the unacceptable alternative to stopping the
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: fanatical Iranian regime from getting a nuclear weapon is allowing
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: them to have one. Do you know nothing about their
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: fundamentalism doctrine that teaches they have a duty to kill Jews, Christians,
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: and anyone else who believes differently from them? Are you
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: unaware of the recent economic progress? According to the Unleashed
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Prosperity newsletter, after four months of decline due to high
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: energy prices, real household incomes show a rebound in August
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: and September. Medium or average household income rose to $ 88, 667
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: in August, nearly the highest income level ever, and up
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: roughly $ 2, 500 in real terms from when Trump's second term began.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: In his four years in office, real incomes barely budged
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: under Biden. According to the Census Bureau, the poverty rate
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: fell to 10.2% last year, the lowest on record dating
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: back to 1967. It gets better. The president's promise to
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: control the southern border, and he has. A White House
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: press release makes the case illegal border crossings have plummeted
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: to their lowest level since the 1970s, with migrants encounters
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: at the U.S.-Mexico border dropping dramatically in 2025.
- 1:15:00Speaker 12: The U.S.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Achieved negative net immigration in 2025, the first time in
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: over 50 years. reversing decades of unchecked migration and restoring
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: control over our sovereignty. Plus, the administration claimed to have
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: deported 500,000 immigrants with criminal records. Yes, there has been
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: some overreaction by ICE, but this pales when compared to
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: the crimes committed by the deportees. You want more? Except
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: in big cities like Chicago and St. Louis, where, to some,
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: murder appears to have become the now new norm, the
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: administration can legitimately brag about the decline in overall crime.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: According to FBI data, violent crime in America dropped 9.7%
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: in 2025, the largest one-year decline in history. Nationally, murder
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: fell 18.1%, robbery fell 18.5%, and America's violent crime rates
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: is the lowest since 1900. Trump and the Republican Congress
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: made tax cuts permanent. The downside is they didn't attack
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: the $ 40 trillion debts. The president also significantly reduced the
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: number of federal employees and repealed 129 regulations for every
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: new one, according to the Office of Management and Budget.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Manufacturing jobs have returned or been bought back to America.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Ford is moving a Lincoln production out of China starting
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: in 2030. Toyota is shifting a majority portion of its
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Tacoma production from Mexico to Texas by 2030. GM, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis,
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: and others are expanding U.S. production. Power plants and refineries
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: are being built. Why don't more people know this? It's
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: because the major media largely ignores it, preferring to focus
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: on the horse race and Democrats who have no policies.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: It takes time to turn around failures of the Biden
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: and Obama administration, but things are moving in the right direction.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Putting Democrats back in the majority in the House, Senate,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: or both will stall this progress. If only the president
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: would make this campaign less about himself and start asking
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: some of the above questions. For the voters to ponder.
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: You're on the air. Oops, wait. I did the wrong thing.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Wait a second. Hello. Hello. All right.
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Call me back. Hang on a second here. This is
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: my fault.
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: I got to do this.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Wait a second here. There we go. If you're on
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: the phone lines, you got to call back. Honest to God,
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: that's my fault. I hit the wrong button.
- 1:17:41Speaker 16: All right.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: And I have all my lines open because I hung
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: up on everybody. And I apologize to you for that.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: It sincerely was my fault. It was my fault. I
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: had my reading glasses on, and I looked over and
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: punched the wrong button.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: 330-729-9977.
- 1:17:52Speaker 24: 330-729-9977.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: I have three, one, two, three, four lines open. If
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: you want to get through, you call me right quick,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: and you'll get through.
- 1:17:57Speaker 12: 330-729-9977.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: If you're on hold, my apologies to you. That was
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: really my fault.
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: 330-729-9977.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: 330-729-9977.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 1:18:17Speaker 16: Hey, Ron, how you doing?
- 1:18:18Speaker 13: Good.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: How about yourself? It's Bubba Ganoush.
- 1:18:20Speaker 16: Pretty good. Listen, I was listening to your show earlier,
- 1:18:23Speaker 16: and there was a guy saying that Trump lied, okay,
- 1:18:27Speaker 16: about the health care thing. But you remember when he
- 1:18:31Speaker 16: proposed to Congress that the money should go directly to
- 1:18:37Speaker 16: the consumer and then they could buy their health. And
- 1:18:39Speaker 16: he did that in his first term, and they rejected
- 1:18:42Speaker 16: it because the insurance companies lobbied him.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: I don't know. And I would say this to you,
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: Bubba Ganush, and I'd say this to all of you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: I don't know. The answer isn't... Let's just back up
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: for a second. If you're poor, you get Medicaid. If
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: you're old, you get Medicare. So everybody, other people in between,
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: it's usually provided by your employer. But we know that
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: whether you're on Medicaid or Medicare or provided by your employer,
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: we know health care is expensive. Health care coverage is
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: expensive per month. Well, how do you bring that cost down?
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know how you do that. Well,
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: hang on a second. I was reading where they say
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: in the United States, the average nurse in the United
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: States makes $ 95, 000 a year.
- 1:19:29Speaker 16: Now, that's the average one.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and I know I'm just going through this.
- 1:19:33Speaker 16: The good nurses make $ 150.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: Right, some of them make more than that. Well, you know, nurses, doctors, technology, hospitals,
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: emergency rooms, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: It's a very expensive undertaking. So how do you make
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: insurance or health care cost less?
- 1:19:52Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 1:19:53Speaker 24: Can I explain?
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:19:55Speaker 16: Okay. First of all, he did that. On the favorite
- 1:20:00Speaker 16: nations of the drugs, he got them down 90%. So
- 1:20:04Speaker 16: that's going to help big time.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Now, see, you brought up an excellent point. He said,
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: why are we paying more for drugs in other countries?
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: And he has stopped that. I agree with you on that.
- 1:20:13Speaker 22: Right.
- 1:20:14Speaker 16: Okay. So that's a savings. The other aspect is if
- 1:20:18Speaker 16: somebody is getting health insurance, he wants to pay the
- 1:20:24Speaker 16: person so that he can buy his own medicine. insurance
- 1:20:28Speaker 16: like like like if you're on medicare uh or medicaid
- 1:20:32Speaker 16: medicare you get you get uh you have to get
- 1:20:35Speaker 16: humano some supplement.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Insurance you know no no like if you're listen as
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: i say many times if you're on medicare stand standard
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: medicare you can go on america medicare advantage plan but
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: that's medicare paying a private insurance company for the plan
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: that you picked but it's usually it's it's not it's
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: not a good option in my.
- 1:20:52Speaker 16: Opinion Right, I agree. So what he's trying to do,
- 1:20:57Speaker 16: he's trying to give the money back to people so
- 1:20:59Speaker 16: that the insurance companies don't get the money first. And
- 1:21:03Speaker 16: then the people decide, you know, what options they want. Plus,
- 1:21:07Speaker 16: here's the other thing.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you this, though, before you go
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: to the other thing. Like I said, I'll be the
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: first guy to say there was a major problem before.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Everyone forgets before Obamacare, and I go on with this.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: There was a major problem going on. And it existed
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: that if you got sick, if you came down with
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: cancer or sickness, and you were employed and you got
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: your benefits through your employer, and you got sick to
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: where you couldn't work anymore, then you could COBRA them
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: for six months. It was very expensive.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: Oh, that was very expensive.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: Okay, but when you were done with that... Then you
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: had a pre-existing condition and no one wanted to sell
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: you any health care coverage. Okay. Tap the brakes. Or
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: if they did, it was priced so expensive, there's no
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: way you would ever be able to afford to buy it.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: So basically, before Obamacare, if you got sick, you didn't
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: have any options whatsoever. to, to once you lost, once
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: you covered your health plan, time ran out, you were
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: basically screwed. You would lose everything that you worked a
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: lifetime for simply because you got sick. Now, Obamacare did
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: change that with preexisting conditions. So it did give you, it,
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: it did solve that particular problem. Not everything about Obamacare
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: is bad. It did change that, but healthcare just got
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: a lot. It just got so damn expensive. What do you,
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: What do you do? Well, Trump said transparency as far as.
- 1:22:41Speaker 24: Oh, yeah, that's a big one.
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: As far as I go to the dentist, I don't
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: know what it costs. I get a CAT scan, I
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: don't know what it costs. No one knows what any
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: of this stuff costs. And he says people should know.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: So if you've got to get a CAT scan, you
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: could look around to where it's the least expensive and
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: go there.
- 1:22:56Speaker 16: You promoted that on your radio.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Well, that wasn't me. That was Trump saying it. That
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: makes sense to me, saying for 75 or 80 percent
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: of the procedures that aren't emergencies, you could shop around.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: Because you don't know what this stuff costs. But outside
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: of that, I don't know how you make it. I
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: look at a bill that you get, and here's what
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: we're charging, but here's what the insurance company is paying.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: It's a day and night difference. So are these charges
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: even realistic? I agree, Ron.
- 1:23:29Speaker 16: Listen, I agree. Listen, when I got my injuries and stuff,
- 1:23:33Speaker 16: I looked at the bills. I told them, I said,
- 1:23:35Speaker 16: this is ridiculous. So I called And I tried to
- 1:23:38Speaker 16: work out a deal, you know, and I said, listen,
- 1:23:41Speaker 16: you know, you cut this down to 10%, and I'll
- 1:23:43Speaker 16: pay it up front. You won't have to chase anybody.
- 1:23:46Speaker 16: And they did, and I did. And I kept on
- 1:23:48Speaker 16: doing that, like 20% or 10%, and I paid it.
- 1:23:51Speaker 16: But the key thing is, I looked at the amount
- 1:23:53Speaker 16: they were charging, and it was like for 15 minutes
- 1:23:56Speaker 16: of a medical service, you were getting charged $ 3, 500. Right.
- 1:24:00Speaker 16: And I said, hey, wait a minute. I said, if
- 1:24:04Speaker 16: I did that in my business, I wouldn't have a business.
- 1:24:07Speaker 16: You know? So, anyhow.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: But, I mean, it is ridiculous. At least you're smart enough.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: I always look at these bills. But I confess, when
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: I go to a doctor, I have no idea what
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: this stuff costs, and I think that that's wrong. Well,
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: we think you need this stuff. Go get a blood test,
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: you know, for your yearly physical. I have no idea
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: what that costs.
- 1:24:25Speaker 16: Exactly.
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: No idea.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: I don't know if they're ripping me off or not.
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: Why shouldn't I know?
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: They don't know. They don't know what it costs.
- 1:24:34Speaker 8: No, they don't.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: They said, okay, we're going to send you to Quest
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: or LabCorp. They don't know what they're charging.
- 1:24:42Speaker 16: I call and ask, and I say, what are you
- 1:24:44Speaker 16: charging for this service? That's all you've got to do, Ron.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: Well, I think it should be transparent.
- 1:24:51Speaker 16: I agree. You don't want to take the initiative to ask.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Like when you got your lobotomy, did you shop around
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: and find out where it was cheapest?
- 1:25:00Speaker 15: No.
- 1:25:02Speaker 16: Ron, I told you, I still got my brain about me.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:25:08Speaker 16: I didn't get a lobotomy.
- 1:25:10Speaker 22: You did.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Well, when you do, though, are you going to shop around?
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: Because I'm sure you did.
- 1:25:13Speaker 16: I'm not getting a lobotomy.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:25:16Speaker 16: I'm not getting anything. I'm fine. I'm fine and dandy
- 1:25:20Speaker 16: like Forrest Gump.
- 1:25:22Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: If you say so. I mean, that's okay.
- 1:25:25Speaker 16: Hello?
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 1:25:27Speaker 16: You haven't seen me in a while, have you?
- 1:25:28Speaker 12: No.
- 1:25:29Speaker 16: Everybody that sees me goes, man, you're looking good. I say, yep,
- 1:25:32Speaker 16: no wrinkles and no gray hairs. How about that?
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: How old are you now?
- 1:25:37Speaker 16: Oh, I'm just 64. I'm a youngster.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I will say, last time I saw you, you
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: have very nice skin.
- 1:25:43Speaker 16: Thank you.
- 1:25:43Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:25:44Speaker 16: Well, so the point I'm saying is, all right, let's
- 1:25:46Speaker 16: get back to this point. So, okay.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: Has any other man ever told you you have nice skin?
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: No, no, Ron, no, no.
- 1:25:54Speaker 16: But the girls like.
- 1:25:56Speaker 22: Hey, listen, if I want to go out.
- 1:25:57Speaker 16: And pick up a girl, I can because I'm a gentleman,
- 1:26:00Speaker 16: I'm kind, and I'm polite. But anyhow.
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but you're missing a leg now. Isn't that a
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: big problem? You can't go.
- 1:26:07Speaker 24: Oh, no, no, no.
- 1:26:08Speaker 16: You never saw... Have you ever saw traded places?
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: You can't go dancing.
- 1:26:12Speaker 16: Wait a minute. Well, I got a prosthetic. Sure, I can.
- 1:26:16Speaker 16: I go slow dancing. I can't rap dance. You know
- 1:26:20Speaker 16: what I'm saying?
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: Do you have like a... Okay. So are you saying
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: can you walk them all now?
- 1:26:28Speaker 21: Oh, no.
- 1:26:28Speaker 16: I don't like walking that far, no.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:26:32Speaker 16: That's difficult. Walk them all.
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: What about those guys who get that, you know, that
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: run with those fake legs? Okay.
- 1:26:39Speaker 16: All right. I have to build up my muscles. That's
- 1:26:42Speaker 16: a young guy, okay? I got to build up my
- 1:26:44Speaker 16: muscles fast. More to walk naturally like that. Now, like
- 1:26:48Speaker 16: Joey on Fox, he ain't got no legs. But he
- 1:26:52Speaker 16: does pretty good, don't he? He walks pretty good.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but he's in really good shape.
- 1:26:58Speaker 16: Right. You've got to get in good shape. So that's
- 1:27:01Speaker 16: what I've been doing. I've been trying to lift weights
- 1:27:02Speaker 16: and things like that. So that takes time. I'm not
- 1:27:05Speaker 16: a youngster anymore. Okay? I mean, go work out and see.
- 1:27:10Speaker 12: What I'm talking about.
- 1:27:11Speaker 16: You go do it.
- 1:27:12Speaker 22: Go to the gym.
- 1:27:14Speaker 16: You feel like you've been working hard and put the
- 1:27:17Speaker 16: bed wet after you do a couple of exercises. All right,
- 1:27:20Speaker 16: so anyhow, let's get back to what we were talking about.
- 1:27:23Speaker 16: So transparency, I agree with. That's the other thing, that
- 1:27:27Speaker 16: they need to be transparent.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Now let me ask you this. Do you get phantom
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: pain there sometimes? They always say... Once you lose a limb,
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: you can actually have phantom pain.
- 1:27:35Speaker 16: You won't let me finish my discussion.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: I will let you finish your discussion. I just thought
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: it's a question, though.
- 1:27:40Speaker 16: Sure, sure. I feel gout in my right leg toe
- 1:27:43Speaker 16: that I don't have.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: That's amazing, isn't it? I know, but isn't that something?
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: I mean, I hear that from people that have that problem,
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: and it's like, that's just incredible.
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:27:56Speaker 16: And I feel like I've got a sprained ankle.
- 1:27:59Speaker 12: Really?
- 1:27:59Speaker 16: You feel like you have a sprained ankle?
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: Okay, yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: And you don't have an ankle. I mean, that is
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: really just incredible.
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: That's really weird, isn't it? I mean, that's really weird.
- 1:28:12Speaker 16: I get those feelings. And you know what? Listen, how
- 1:28:14Speaker 16: about a sharp pain like you stub your toe and
- 1:28:20Speaker 16: you don't have the leg, right? And it's a spasm.
- 1:28:24Speaker 16: So you're laying there, and it's like, oh, my God.
- 1:28:26Speaker 16: You know what I mean?
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: Where did that come from?
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: So would you say most of the time when you
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: get around, you're using crutches for the most part?
- 1:28:34Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:28:35Speaker 16: I have a cane Did I use, or sometimes I
- 1:28:39Speaker 16: use my walk.
- 1:28:40Speaker 24: When I go to church.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: Wouldn't you use crutches? I mean, when I broke my
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: leg many years ago, I'm going to tell you something,
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: and I was on crutches.
- 1:28:46Speaker 16: No, not a crutch underneath my arm, Ron.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Well, I had crutches under my arm for
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: like six months. It took forever for this thing to heal. And,
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: you know, my upper body strength was really something after that.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: I mean, because you were just using it.
- 1:29:04Speaker 16: I had the prosthetic guy do it. He grabbed me
- 1:29:07Speaker 16: and goes, Dan, you're strong. I said, I have to be.
- 1:29:10Speaker 16: I go up and down steps three or four times
- 1:29:12Speaker 16: a day.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Did he tell you you had smooth skin for a man?
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: All right, just checking.
- 1:29:19Speaker 16: All your girls tell me I'm beautiful, Ron. But anyhow,
- 1:29:23Speaker 16: let's get back to what I'm saying. So we covered
- 1:29:25Speaker 16: the transparency. Good point, Ron. But the thing is that
- 1:29:31Speaker 16: the problem is if you give the insurance companies directly
- 1:29:34Speaker 16: the money, They take ten times more from the government.
- 1:29:39Speaker 16: So if you get the money and you manage it,
- 1:29:41Speaker 16: you get to keep the rest of it. That's what
- 1:29:43Speaker 16: Trump was saying. He said, I'll give you the money.
- 1:29:45Speaker 16: You're not going to let me finish, are you?
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: All right, I'll let you finish. Let me do the break.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: I occupied a lot of your time. I'll let you finish,
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: then I'll come back with more. Bubba Ganoush in a minute.
- 1:29:58Speaker 8: I Heart Radio. For nearly three decades, Terry Granga has.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: Served NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: All right, finish your intellectual conversation, Bubba Ganoush.
- 1:30:10Speaker 16: Okay, very good. All right, so we talked about transparency.
- 1:30:15Speaker 16: I like what you were saying there, because you had
- 1:30:17Speaker 16: said that, too. You actually had people advertising for CAT
- 1:30:20Speaker 16: scans and stuff like that. That was pretty cool.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
- 1:30:24Speaker 16: So if Trump gives us the money and doesn't give
- 1:30:28Speaker 16: it directly to the insurance company and we decide what
- 1:30:31Speaker 16: services we want, and, again, they have to have prices, okay,
- 1:30:36Speaker 16: there's a transparency there. Trump says if we're healthy, we
- 1:30:41Speaker 16: can keep the rest of the money. Okay, so that's impossible.
- 1:30:45Speaker 16: All right, the other thing to bring health care costs
- 1:30:47Speaker 16: up is these people in between, you know, like what
- 1:30:52Speaker 16: do you call them, brokers? There's tons of brokers in
- 1:30:55Speaker 16: between the health care, you know, your health care needs.
- 1:31:00Speaker 16: And those could be eliminated with AI. Okay, with AI,
- 1:31:05Speaker 16: all those people could be eliminated. All right, so they're
- 1:31:08Speaker 16: bringing down the cost for them.
- 1:31:10Speaker 12: Let me tell you, I've got some.
- 1:31:11Speaker 16: Ideas, buddy. Let me tell you. And listen, on the
- 1:31:15Speaker 16: aspect of the other gentleman, Mr. Emmanuel, worried about the–
- 1:31:21Speaker 16: The blue state's not getting paid.
- 1:31:23Speaker 22: Go ask them why. They're breaking the law. They won't
- 1:31:26Speaker 22: comply to the federal government. They won't show them their
- 1:31:29Speaker 22: list of people on SNAP. They won't show them their
- 1:31:33Speaker 22: voting list. So Trump's administration says, listen, we want some cooperation.
- 1:31:38Speaker 22: We're trying to avoid fraud here.
- 1:31:42Speaker 16: They won't help them with that. It's okay. We're not
- 1:31:44Speaker 16: getting any of your money. That's what I would do.
- 1:31:48Speaker 16: Wouldn't you have done that, Ron? You're trying to get
- 1:31:50Speaker 16: information to avoid fraud or bad elections, and now we
- 1:31:56Speaker 16: ain't giving you nothing. And you say, fine, I'm not
- 1:31:59Speaker 16: giving you nothing. You know what I mean? How about that, Ron?
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: I got it. Ron's got it.
- 1:32:06Speaker 16: No, isn't that right? Am I right or wrong? That's
- 1:32:09Speaker 16: what's going on.
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: I've hung on to your every word.
- 1:32:14Speaker 22: Well, no, that's what's going on.
- 1:32:16Speaker 16: I'm not making it up. And the thing is, they're
- 1:32:18Speaker 16: finding pride like crazy, and they're just getting started. Could
- 1:32:22Speaker 16: you imagine after the next two years what they find?
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:32:27Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: All right. Thank you. It's Bubba Ganoush. Back with more
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: after this. Stay tuned. The Fall Tire Savings Events.

- 1:36:07Speaker 2: It's a beautiful day out there. It's just such a
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: gorgeous day outside. I mean, it's just a perfect day.
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoney. I kind of
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: got the Monday blues, I think, and it's such a
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: nice day. I'm like a kid in school. It's like,
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: look at that weather out there. You're on the air.
- 1:36:23Speaker 12: Hey, Brian.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:36:24Speaker 6: How are you?
- 1:36:25Speaker 15: Happy Monday.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: Oh, thank you. Sounds like you had a bad cold.
- 1:36:29Speaker 15: I do. I was just going to preface my call
- 1:36:32Speaker 15: by saying excuse the sniffles. Weird times we're in, I think,
- 1:36:37Speaker 15: suffice to say. You know, I just have to call in.
- 1:36:41Speaker 15: I don't call very often, but... We've always talked about,
- 1:36:46Speaker 15: you know, changes happening at the local level. And I've
- 1:36:50Speaker 15: been doing my due diligence researching candidates, and I'm disappointed
- 1:36:57Speaker 15: in the Republican Party.
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: Explain.
- 1:37:00Speaker 15: Well, you know, representation starts here. And with all the
- 1:37:06Speaker 15: stuff with the gubernatorial race, and we're kind of, I'm
- 1:37:10Speaker 15: not seeing a lot about our state rep racism. And,
- 1:37:15Speaker 15: you know, there's a woman out there that is working
- 1:37:18Speaker 15: her tail off for the Valley. She sits on the
- 1:37:23Speaker 15: board of a lot of places. She started her own nonprofit,
- 1:37:30Speaker 15: Clothed in Strength. She's been a Rotarian for 20 years.
- 1:37:35Speaker 15: This woman is smart, as smart as a cat, and
- 1:37:40Speaker 15: doesn't want to get in the mud with politics. But
- 1:37:43Speaker 15: Heather Franck, for the 58th District, needs to be looked at.
- 1:37:49Speaker 15: And I didn't realize this, and I plead guilty until
- 1:37:53Speaker 15: about a month and a half ago. I know that
- 1:37:57Speaker 15: her opponent has a reputation, well-known name, but she is
- 1:38:03Speaker 15: somebody that we have to look at seriously.
- 1:38:08Speaker 2: Yeah, she's... I agree with you. She's... Wasn't she a
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: former Miss Ohio? Was that accurate?
- 1:38:15Speaker 22: She was.
- 1:38:16Speaker 15: She was Mrs.
- 1:38:17Speaker 9: Ohio.
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: Oh, Mrs.
- 1:38:19Speaker 15: Ohio. Yeah, but she's got a very compelling story. I
- 1:38:24Speaker 15: just think that people, before we go vote, if you
- 1:38:27Speaker 15: haven't voted already... we need to take a look at her.
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: Listen, I agree with you. I think she's a quality candidate.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: I don't disagree with anything that you're saying. I think that,
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: you know, just based on my reading, I think that
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: she's working hard. I mean, she's... Knocking on doors, and
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: she's working very hard, and I agree with you. I
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: think that she's a quality person running a damn good
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: campaign from my perspective, and I agree with you. I
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: think she deserves a little love.
- 1:38:59Speaker 15: Here's my disappointment, okay? I see a lot about Tex Fisher,
- 1:39:04Speaker 15: but my question is, where is the Republican Party behind her?
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: Well, I would assume it's behind her.
- 1:39:13Speaker 15: I'm not seeing a lot. I'm not seeing a lot. And,
- 1:39:17Speaker 15: you know, like you and I have talked for years,
- 1:39:19Speaker 15: for somebody to step out, your son ran, my husband ran.
- 1:39:24Speaker 15: I mean, you've got to have a real strong backbone. And,
- 1:39:29Speaker 15: you know, she's grassroots, but she's working so hard. And
- 1:39:34Speaker 15: I don't see the fundraisers for her. I really don't.
- 1:39:40Speaker 15: And I'm sorely disappointed in it. But, you know, she's
- 1:39:45Speaker 15: been a Rotarian. I mean, she's just been there. And
- 1:39:49Speaker 15: she doesn't want to get in the mud. She doesn't
- 1:39:51Speaker 15: want to, you know, fight. She just wants to serve
- 1:39:56Speaker 15: the people and be our voice.
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:39:59Speaker 15: And I just hope that people, before they go vote,
- 1:40:02Speaker 15: they really look at her hard.
- 1:40:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: I would agree with you. I don't. I don't disagree
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: with anything you're saying. I think she is. You know,
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: I'm just I'm going from afar. I think she's a
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: quality candidate. I think she's running. I think she's really
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: running a. She's really. I just think she's working, working
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: hard and and is trying her best to get elected.
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: And I agree with you. I think that she's she's.
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: I think she would do an excellent job. She seems
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: to me to be a very quality candidate and a
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: quality person just based on what I see.
- 1:40:43Speaker 24: She is.
- 1:40:45Speaker 15: She's a class act. And I didn't realize, you know,
- 1:40:50Speaker 15: I plead ignorance. I didn't really realize until about six
- 1:40:53Speaker 15: weeks ago all about her, what she's done.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: She.
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: She is.
- 1:41:00Speaker 15: She's incredible. And I just hope people, you know, look
- 1:41:03Speaker 15: her up and read all about what she's done.
- 1:41:06Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: I think she would, if she wins, I think she
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: would do an excellent job. Make no mistake. I think
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: she would do an absolutely excellent job. And I think
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: she genuinely.
- 1:41:15Speaker 15: But I haven't heard, you know, I listen to your
- 1:41:18Speaker 15: show all the time, clearly.
- 1:41:20Speaker 9: But I don't hear.
- 1:41:21Speaker 15: People talking about that. And, you know, I'm thinking about
- 1:41:24Speaker 15: these state rep races. They're every bit as important for
- 1:41:30Speaker 15: people to pay attention to.
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: Well, I agree with you. Like I've said before, I
- 1:41:34Speaker 2: have Dave Thomas on on a regular basis. I think
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: Dave Thomas should win. He's awesome. He should win overwhelmingly.
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: I mean, really, you want to talk about a race
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: that should be 100% to nothing. I think the guys
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: are just working state rep that I've seen in 41 years. Now,
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: Dave Thomas tells me what a great job Tex Fisher
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: is doing, and I agree with it. If Dave Thomas
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: tells me that, I agree with it. Now, I've also
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: heard where Lauren McNally has one of the worst attendance
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: records that you could have. I mean, so Lauren McNally
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: basically has been collecting a check as state rep, but
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: not showing up to do the job. Exactly. So you
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: ran for state rep, but you're not driving to Columbus
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: and doing the work.
- 1:42:15Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: But now you want to be commissioner. I mean, I
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: look at that and I just shake my head. I'm saying,
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: do any of these people that are saying, you know,
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: with their Lauren McNally signs, do they know about her
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: attendance as a state rep? I mean, it's... I don't
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: even know.
- 1:42:31Speaker 8: What to say about it.
- 1:42:32Speaker 15: People get their news off of social media, and it's
- 1:42:37Speaker 15: just amazing the people that don't realize how important their
- 1:42:41Speaker 15: vote is.
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: You're asking me my opinions, and I would give you
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: my opinions. I think Heather Franck is.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: Working her tail off, and I think she would do
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: an excellent job. I think Lauren McNally has been an
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: extremely lazy state rep who's collected a paycheck and not
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: doing her job as state rep, and now she wants
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: a bigger paycheck of a hundred-something thousand dollars to be
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: a county commissioner, and I think that's ridiculous. I absolutely think,
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: are you kidding me? You've been getting paid for not
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: doing the work you were doing. I mean, that's That's
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: my opinion.
- 1:43:19Speaker 15: I agree. And I just wanted to call because, you know,
- 1:43:23Speaker 15: she doesn't, you know, run the ads. And she definitely
- 1:43:29Speaker 15: has a great group of people out working hard, really
- 1:43:32Speaker 15: hard for her. And I just wanted to give her
- 1:43:36Speaker 15: a shout out and let people know, do your due diligence.
- 1:43:40Speaker 15: And that vote matters.
- 1:43:42Speaker 9: It really matters.
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: I think it matters a lot. Listen, like Ted the
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: Conservative said to me, you know, he can't vote for
- 1:43:52Speaker 2: a Democrat because they buy into this Democrat nonsense.
- 1:43:57Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: I mean, it's just, I cannot, you know, I sit
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: back and I say to folks, I cannot support If
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: you're a Democrat, the open border with Biden, I can't
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: support people attacking ICE agents trying to enforce the law.
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: They're vilifying ICE and they're glorifying people that are in
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: your country illegally and criminals in your country illegally. And
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: they're making it more difficult for them to get apprehended
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: that you see in these sanctuary cities. I don't agree
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: with any of the Democratic platform on the social agenda.
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: I don't agree with the sexual agenda. I don't agree
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: with their economic agenda. Their tax agenda? There's nothing about
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: the Democrat Party that I agree with at all. And
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: if you're a member of the Democrat Party, how can
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: I vote for you if you side with a party
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: I fundamentally disagree with everything they stand for? I don't
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: understand how any American... I just don't get it could
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: support a party that's that's that that, you know, many
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: of these people that are that I find interesting bitching
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: about inflation. They were nowhere to be found during the
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: inflation during Biden's tenure. You know, all of these people
- 1:45:10Speaker 2: that are talking about Trump lying. Well, Biden told his
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: inner circle and Harris told the biggest lie of all.
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: He wasn't even running a country. He had nothing on
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: his agenda to have press conferences, didn't have cabinet meetings
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: because he was unable to do the job. But they
- 1:45:26Speaker 2: covered it up and said he was– I can't think
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: of a bigger lie than saying this guy is running
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: a country when he's not running a country. So who
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: was running a country? I can't think of a bigger
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: lie than that. The second biggest lie is the border
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: is secure. So Joe Biden never did his job as
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: president to secure the American border, which is his duty
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: as president. And he ignored those laws and let all
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: these people in. Now many of these people are bitching
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: about Trump who's trying to get them out. And trying
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: to enforce the law.
- 1:45:54Speaker 15: I mean, people, people, there's people out there that actually
- 1:46:00Speaker 15: don't believe millions came across the border. I mean, but
- 1:46:04Speaker 15: it's amazing.
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: It is amazing.
- 1:46:06Speaker 15: How can you be so naive?
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: I just can't support anything about the Democrat Party. You know,
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: Sherrod Brown, he supported every lunatic thing that Biden stood for.
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: And when I say lunatic thing, think the Democrats wanted
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: to do away with mother and father. It was a
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: birthing person. The Democrats nominated someone to the Supreme Court
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: who was a woman who couldn't define what a woman is.
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: This is that wants you to think that men need
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: tampons or men can give birth or men can have periods.
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: This was absolute, utter insanity. What the Democrats would.
- 1:46:43Speaker 15: Be interesting to see what happens with Omar. Because I'm
- 1:46:51Speaker 15: not an attorney, but, I mean, if she's been up
- 1:46:54Speaker 15: there signing legislation under false pretense, under a false name,
- 1:46:59Speaker 15: marrying her brother, if that's true... We have huge problems
- 1:47:04Speaker 15: vetting candidates, vetting people.
- 1:47:06Speaker 2: But did you hear that? You know, Brett Baer was
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: trying to take on this guy in Michigan, and he's
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: trying to ask him questions. And right off the bat,
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: you know, Brett Baer, you can't ask me that. And,
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: you know, you're an Islam phobias. So if you ask
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: a hard question to somebody about what they wrote and
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: what their views are, You're not allowed to do that,
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: even though those were your views. I don't. So they
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: go right back to you're a racist. Listen, how could
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: I be? I would never be a member of a party.
- 1:47:36Speaker 2: That said to me for four years under Biden that
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: the only way I accomplished anything in my life was
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: because of white privilege. I could not be a member
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: of a party that says if you're white, you're a
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: white supremacist. I cannot be a member of a party.
- 1:47:50Speaker 15: That says for a black president.
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: And I can't be a member of a party that
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: says we should hire you based on your sexuality, your
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: skin color, not the merit, not your merit. I mean,
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: I cannot vote for a party that believes in open borders,
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: a party that has that weird sexual agenda, a party
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: that for the love of God at Disney, they got
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: away from boys and girls, mothers, ladies and gentlemen. Now
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: they're back to it because Trump bought normalcy back to things.
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: Do you think I'd vote for Sherrod Brown, who supported
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: that stuff? You think I would vote for any of
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: that nonsense? And this idea that politicians have something to
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: do with a lot of stuff. A lot of stuff
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: is the private sector. They're not going to most of
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: what they do is not. Well, I'll just leave it
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: at that. I mean, there's no way in hell I
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: can support anybody who believes that nonsense. And the results
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: that I watch for four years in the destruction of
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: this country for four years that that I watched to say,
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: even with my gas prices being high, the economy overall
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: is doing well. And under no circumstances will I vote
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: for a Democrat. I so totally disagree. And I also
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: agree with you. I think that Heather Franck is a
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: very she's an interesting woman with an interesting background is
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: running a damn good campaign and is out there earning
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: every vote that that she can earn. And I think
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: she would make an excellent representative if she's successful.
- 1:49:31Speaker 15: I do, too, but I just wanted to, you know,
- 1:49:35Speaker 15: it's been bothering me. I just wanted to call you, Ron,
- 1:49:38Speaker 15: and tell you that, you know, she is working her
- 1:49:42Speaker 15: tail off, and I don't hear a lot of advertising.
- 1:49:48Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Well, I can tell you,
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: I don't think I've seen any ads on her station
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: from her at all. I mean, I will tell you something.
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: Some of the ads that obviously– the ads for Sherrod
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: Brown and this kind of stuff are against him are there.
- 1:50:09Speaker 2: But a lot of the ads that are running are
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: some pretty good ads. Even some of the ads– even
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: the ads that are being run by some of the
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: Democrat candidates are very good ads. And I'm talking locally.
- 1:50:22Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: I think some of these ads for some of these
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: positions that some of the Democrats are running for locally
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: have cut some excellent radio commercials.
- 1:50:32Speaker 9: And if I agree with you, I think I agree
- 1:50:34Speaker 9: with you.
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: I think, you know, if well, you got to you
- 1:50:41Speaker 2: got to have money and you got to run you
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: got to run ads. I mean, I don't see any
- 1:50:45Speaker 2: for her. She should probably get off her duff and
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: start putting some on.
- 1:50:49Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:50:49Speaker 15: I just, you know, like I said, I don't know.
- 1:50:52Speaker 15: I'm not privy. I don't know. But I don't know
- 1:50:56Speaker 15: how much leeway the Republican Party locally can do to
- 1:51:00Speaker 15: help her.
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: Sometimes, you know, you mentioned about my son running. You
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: know who funded my son's campaign?
- 1:51:07Speaker 12: He did.
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: Totally.
- 1:51:09Speaker 15: I mean, he did.
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: But forget all of that. He paid for everything. I
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: don't know what it ended up running. Five, six, seven thousand.
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: He wrote the check out of his pocket. He didn't
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: want he didn't do fundraisers. He didn't go and do fundraisers.
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: He said, you know, he said, if I'm going to run,
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: I don't want to owe anybody any favors. No favors
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: at all. I'm just going to I'm going to run.
- 1:51:32Speaker 2: And if I get elected, I'm going to do what's
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: in the best interest of the township and the taxpayer.
- 1:51:38Speaker 2: And that was.
- 1:51:38Speaker 24: A good.
- 1:51:41Speaker 15: Campaign.
- 1:51:42Speaker 2: I thought he ran an excellent campaign. And he got
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: 3000 some votes. And guess what? He had a platform,
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: you know, like when the newspaper endorsed him, the newspaper said, well,
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: of all the candidates, he's the only one that says
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: that I'm going to do this, this, this and this.
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: And I just thought that was absolutely excellent. I thought
- 1:52:01Speaker 2: he was the best choice then. I think he's the
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: best choice now. And I think it's and and, you know,
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: a lot of people, like I say to people, he
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: he carries a lot of weight with me. Obviously, he's
- 1:52:12Speaker 2: my son. But, you know, when it came to the
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: police levy in Austintown, you know, Eric came to me
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: and he says, Dad, you know, this levy is necessary.
- 1:52:21Speaker 2: I mean, he says, you know, you can. And I
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: sat down. I listened to him. Obviously, he's got a background.
- 1:52:28Speaker 2: You know, he's a full time policeman, not in Austintown.
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: So but obviously, he said that, listen, you cannot you can't.
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: There's not people to do vacations. You can't take a
- 1:52:38Speaker 2: vacation and overtime and burnout. When he got done explaining
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: it all to me. It made perfect sense. They did
- 1:52:45Speaker 2: all the cutting they could do. They needed additional money.
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: Thank you, Derek. Call me again.
- 1:52:49Speaker 15: Thanks, Ron. Take care.
- 1:52:54Speaker 6: Bye-bye.
- 1:52:54Speaker 14: Bye.
- 1:52:55Speaker 6: For 50 years, Sherrod Brown.
- 1:52:57Speaker 8: WKBN.
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKBN 525. Ron Verp from the Kingdom
- 1:53:02Speaker 2: of Mahoning. 71 degrees and you're on the air. Hello there.
- 1:53:06Speaker 7: Hi, Ron.
- 1:53:07Speaker 15: It's Tim from the South Side.
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: Tim from the South Side. It's Ron from the Kingdom
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: of Mahoning.
- 1:53:12Speaker 12: Oh, good.
- 1:53:12Speaker 9: I got a little different perspective here for you, one
- 1:53:15Speaker 9: a little more realistic. Now, last ticket, the Republicans wanted
- 1:53:18Speaker 9: me to vote straight down the ticket form, and you
- 1:53:21Speaker 9: know what? That's exactly what I did, because I believe
- 1:53:22Speaker 9: in common sense. And just having a little bit of
- 1:53:26Speaker 9: common sense, you know, what boys are and girls are
- 1:53:28Speaker 9: and who can have babies and that kind of thing.
- 1:53:30Speaker 9: You know, it's pretty simple stuff, and I like that stuff.
- 1:53:33Speaker 21: But the only problem is when you pull away from
- 1:53:38Speaker 21: the simple science of boys and girls that we get
- 1:53:40Speaker 21: into more complicated things like property taxes and things like that.
- 1:53:45Speaker 9: And now I remember back in the day, Rudy was
- 1:53:48Speaker 9: asking for a vote, said he was going to do
- 1:53:49Speaker 9: something about property taxes, get rid of them. Well, he
- 1:53:52Speaker 9: came and was elected, and now he's gone in another district.
- 1:53:56Speaker 2: No, he's congressman.
- 1:53:59Speaker 9: There's still nothing done, though, is my point.
- 1:54:01Speaker 12: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:54:02Speaker 9: We've had Republicans in control this whole time.
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: Tap the brakes. That is totally inaccurate. You've got to
- 1:54:08Speaker 2: listen to the program more. Dave Thomas, who's the state
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: rep out of Ashtabula and part of Trumbull County that
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: I have on a regular basis.
- 1:54:16Speaker 12: Yeah, Mr.
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: No. No, that's Plushnick. That's a commissioner. I have Dave
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: Thomas on as state rep. Dave Thomas has made huge
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: changes to your property taxes as a result of him
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: and Republicans. Let me give you just one of them.
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: On the re-evaluations that just took place, he put legislation
- 1:54:34Speaker 2: through and got it passed to where the increase can't
- 1:54:38Speaker 2: not be more than the rate of inflation. So your
- 1:54:42Speaker 2: re-evaluation of 20 or 30 percent is, you're not going
- 1:54:47Speaker 2: to get a 20 or 30 percent increase because he changed,
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: he got it passed with the Republicans to limit it
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: saying any increase should be what the rate of inflation is.
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: So if the rate of inflation is Four percent on
- 1:55:01Speaker 2: your re-evaluation, your property taxes can't come up any more
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: than four percent. Now, he changed a number of he
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: got a number of other things changed on property taxes
- 1:55:09Speaker 2: as far as inside millage and the ceiling and the
- 1:55:13Speaker 2: floor on that. It's more complicated. He's got about he
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: got about five or six major and I do mean
- 1:55:19Speaker 2: major changes done on property taxes. And he spearheaded them.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: I love telling a Dave Thomas story. He's the auditor
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: in Ashtabula County, the Ralph Meacham era.
- 1:55:29Speaker 9: He sounds great, but he's a one-man army.
- 1:55:31Speaker 8: No, he isn't.
- 1:55:32Speaker 9: If Mike DeWine wanted to get rid of these property taxes,
- 1:55:36Speaker 9: all these other Republicans would have got behind him. Look
- 1:55:38Speaker 9: at the troubles that Mike DeWine has brought us over
- 1:55:41Speaker 9: these years. We wouldn't have this John Huston problem and
- 1:55:44Speaker 9: all the other mess of Amy Acton. He put her
- 1:55:46Speaker 9: up on a pedestal every day and let her ramble
- 1:55:49Speaker 9: on for an hour every day. Look at all the
- 1:55:52Speaker 9: problems that these people are bringing us. We need someone
- 1:55:54Speaker 9: in there with a clear head and just go in
- 1:55:56Speaker 9: there and do the right things for once. They're always
- 1:55:59Speaker 9: on there asking for our votes, and we won't hear
- 1:56:00Speaker 9: from these rats for two or four more years.
- 1:56:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you're right.
- 1:56:05Speaker 9: I appreciate your time.
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: Thank you, and you're right about that. I don't disagree
- 1:56:08Speaker 2: with that. So the most often you hear from these
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: people is when they want you to vote for them,
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: to reelect them, and you never hear from them again.
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: You know, they're always out there at election time. You
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: see it going on. They're always going to all these
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: groups and organizations. Then once they get elected, you never
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: see them again. And then the only time they're interested
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: in you is if they need your vote or they
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: want you to pass a tax levy. And I'll be
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: the first to say there are times tax levies are necessary.
- 1:56:37Speaker 2: I mean, police cars cost more, fire trucks cost more.
- 1:56:40Speaker 2: That's why I say do not vote for any levy.
- 1:56:43Speaker 2: Do not increase your property taxes unless you need to
- 1:56:46Speaker 2: support your police, your fire, your road departments, your essential
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: services in your community. All this other stuff you should
- 1:56:54Speaker 2: not vote for. AI will cost many people their jobs.
- 1:56:57Speaker 2: It will cost many, many people will lose a job.
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: And you can have a decent two-household income of people
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: making good money, and one of them could lose their job,
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: and it dramatically will change the household income as a
- 1:57:10Speaker 2: result of AI. Now, Joe Kovach is talking to him
- 1:57:14Speaker 2: last week from Rockport's Truth Investing, and he's telling me
- 1:57:17Speaker 2: he can see where people are losing some of these
- 1:57:20Speaker 2: good-paying white-collar jobs and unable to find anything close to
- 1:57:24Speaker 2: what they were making to replace it because of AI.
- 1:57:28Speaker 2: Like I said, do not vote for these levies and
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: tax yourself more. I will not vote for MRDD. That
- 1:57:34Speaker 2: is a ridiculous amount of money they're asking for. It's insane.
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: household where both are on Social Security and one person dies,
- 1:57:44Speaker 2: you tax yourself right out of your house. And so
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: much for compassion. They'll tell you to get out and
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: sell your house at auction, just like they will do
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: if you work and you lose one of your jobs
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: to AI. There's going to be no compassion. They're going
- 1:57:55Speaker 2: to come and tell you, you can't pay, get out.
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: And there's your compassion. I'll be right back.
- 1:58:00Speaker 8: News Radio 570 WKVN. A new draft.
- 1:58:06Speaker 10: Of what will fill the space of Huntington Bank Stadium
- 1:58:08Speaker 10: in Cleveland once the Browns' move has been released. The
- 1:58:12Speaker 10: draft shows a Central Park where the stadium currently stands,
- 1:58:15Speaker 10: as well as a continuous waterfront promenade. The team is
- 1:58:18Speaker 10: planning its move in 2029 to Brook Park, and it's
- 1:58:22Speaker 10: important to note that the new park and waterfront promenade
- 1:58:25Speaker 10: is just a proposal, not final. Meantime, over 1 million
- 1:58:30Speaker 10: ballots have been cast across the state as of last Friday,
- 1:58:33Speaker 10: according to the Ohio Secretary of State's office. These numbers
- 1:58:37Speaker 10: put the Buckeye State on track to set an all-time
- 1:58:40Speaker 10: record for early voter turnout in a midterm election. So far,
- 1:58:44Speaker 10: Democratic primary voters have had a better turnout than Republicans
- 1:58:47Speaker 10: by about 20%. Election day is one week from tomorrow
- 1:58:52Speaker 10: on Tuesday, November 3rd. I'm Daniel Barnard.

- 1:59:12Speaker 8: Now, Ron Verb. On NewsRadio 570, WKBN.
- 1:59:17Speaker 2: From NewsRadio 570, WKBN, 535, Ron Verb, 71 degrees. From
- 1:59:22Speaker 2: the Kingdom of Mahoney on a perfect Monday afternoon, October 26th.
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: And a nice weather going to continue right through Halloween.
- 1:59:31Speaker 2: Let me get Ted the Conservative, G2, I think, standing by.
- 1:59:33Speaker 4: Hello.
- 1:59:34Speaker 13: Ronald.
- 1:59:35Speaker 2: Theodore.
- 1:59:36Speaker 24: I heard my name mentioned a few times. And a
- 1:59:41Speaker 24: couple of things to say. The first thing I'd have
- 1:59:43Speaker 24: to say is if the good Lord calls me tonight,
- 1:59:46Speaker 24: I can go away smiling, knowing that after 30 some years,
- 1:59:51Speaker 24: I've convinced Ron to never vote for a Democrat. And
- 1:59:58Speaker 24: if he has a chance, He might even vote for
- 2:00:00Speaker 24: John McCain and Mitt Romney against Obama.
- 2:00:04Speaker 2: Probably. Probably. Even though, yeah, more than likely.
- 2:00:08Speaker 24: I remember those conversations back then, and I couldn't change
- 2:00:11Speaker 24: your mind, doggone it. But fast forward, what, 20 years
- 2:00:14Speaker 24: since Obama ran? I think you see the picture now.
- 2:00:20Speaker 15: Right?
- 2:00:21Speaker 24: Democrats can't do it. Can't do it. And I'll pivot
- 2:00:24Speaker 24: to a couple things. Lady that called about Heather Funk.
- 2:00:28Speaker 24: Nice woman. Had an experience with her husband once many
- 2:00:32Speaker 24: years ago, business-wise. Never met her. They just appear to
- 2:00:37Speaker 24: be a quality family, quality people. And a lot of
- 2:00:40Speaker 24: people say that about John Bochieri, but guess what? John
- 2:00:44Speaker 24: Bochieri's had a run at this. And I'm not sure
- 2:00:49Speaker 24: they did a whole lot as a state representative. Maybe
- 2:00:51Speaker 24: he did, maybe he didn't. But I would pivot to this.
- 2:00:56Speaker 24: You know, when Carol Rigetti... I'll give you a little
- 2:00:59Speaker 24: in-workings of the local Democrat party that I have knowledge of.
- 2:01:04Speaker 24: When Rigetti announced to the party insiders many, many months ago,
- 2:01:10Speaker 24: moons ago, she was going to step down and call quick.
- 2:01:13Speaker 24: Of course, Lauren McNally wanted that job because she thought, wow,
- 2:01:17Speaker 24: it's closer to home, and when I do go to
- 2:01:19Speaker 24: the office, I won't have to drive this far. So
- 2:01:21Speaker 24: those six out of ten days she goes to work,
- 2:01:24Speaker 24: she's thinking, Maybe I only have to go to work
- 2:01:26Speaker 24: three days a week as a county commissioner, two days
- 2:01:28Speaker 24: a week. And they said, well, if Lauren wants commissioner,
- 2:01:32Speaker 24: we've got to give her that. She spoke up. So
- 2:01:35Speaker 24: now we've got to fill this position. We can't have
- 2:01:37Speaker 24: a Republican in there. So they went and they recruited
- 2:01:40Speaker 24: John Bocheri to run. He didn't get involved because he
- 2:01:43Speaker 24: wanted to be involved. He was recruited to run and
- 2:01:48Speaker 24: had to be convinced to run and finally said, OK,
- 2:01:50Speaker 24: I'll do it. So there's a lot of stuff.
- 2:01:53Speaker 16: People don't know.
- 2:01:54Speaker 24: But why not give this woman a shot?
- 2:01:57Speaker 2: Well, I think she's, once again, I think she's run
- 2:02:01Speaker 2: a good campaign. I think she's a quality person. I
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: don't think you could go wrong. Listen, Lauren McNally, when
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: she was a state rep, has a horrible attendance record.
- 2:02:13Speaker 2: She ran for that position, but she didn't want to
- 2:02:16Speaker 2: do anything. do the job that was necessary. So why
- 2:02:21Speaker 2: would I vote for her for commissioner when you collected
- 2:02:24Speaker 2: a paycheck? It just makes it makes no sense to
- 2:02:27Speaker 2: me at all. I think she's a she's a tax
- 2:02:31Speaker 2: and spend liberal. That's that's basically what it is.
- 2:02:35Speaker 24: I'm not trying to spend your money. She wants to
- 2:02:38Speaker 24: stay home on her couch, watch TV all day and
- 2:02:41Speaker 24: spend your money.
- 2:02:42Speaker 5: I'm not getting a paycheck.
- 2:02:43Speaker 2: I am not kidding here when I sit here and
- 2:02:46Speaker 2: I say this to all of you. And I say
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: it to each and every one of you, and I
- 2:02:50Speaker 2: will say it again and again. I will not vote.
- 2:02:53Speaker 2: You know, they're going to hope that they pass this
- 2:02:55Speaker 2: MRDD levy, which is a huge levy, which will be
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: a big increase to your property taxes on a sympathy vote.
- 2:03:01Speaker 2: I will not vote. They got plenty of money. I
- 2:03:03Speaker 2: will not vote for this levy. And if you do,
- 2:03:07Speaker 2: I believe you should have your head examined. And I'll
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: go one step further. I'm going to tell you this,
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: and I'm going to say it to you time and
- 2:03:13Speaker 2: time again, because If you continue to increase your property taxes,
- 2:03:18Speaker 2: you make it difficult for young people to buy a
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: home because of how much monthly they have to pay
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: in property taxes. You make it difficult for old people
- 2:03:26Speaker 2: to stay in their home. But I am not kidding
- 2:03:28Speaker 2: you when I say here's what's happening to old people.
- 2:03:32Speaker 2: They think that they do just fine until one of
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: them dies in their Social Security. Now you only have
- 2:03:37Speaker 2: one income coming in. Now they're priced out of their
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: own home that they wanted to stay in until they died.
- 2:03:44Speaker 2: And they can't afford it because of the burden of
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: these damn property taxes. And the same damn thing will
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: be happening. Mark my words to people that are working
- 2:03:54Speaker 2: with good jobs. AI is coming, and it's coming fast.
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: And you can sit there and say, well, we both
- 2:04:00Speaker 2: have good jobs, 100,000 a year, 120 a year, whatever.
- 2:04:03Speaker 2: And we're going to vote for the schools, or we're
- 2:04:06Speaker 2: going to vote for the MRDD. Well, that's all well
- 2:04:08Speaker 2: and good until one of you loses your good job
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: and can't find one of that caliber of pay to
- 2:04:14Speaker 2: replace it. And that is exactly what's happening with AI.
- 2:04:18Speaker 2: And don't think it won't happen to you. So I'm
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: trying to forewarn you. Look out for yourself first.
- 2:04:25Speaker 8: Put yourself first.
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: Right. You're first. Because the compassion.
- 2:04:31Speaker 24: I can speak from experience, and probably so can you.
- 2:04:34Speaker 24: Everybody looks for number one. So if you don't do it,
- 2:04:38Speaker 24: don't expect someone else to do it.
- 2:04:39Speaker 2: Here's the compassion. I say it again. Oh, you know,
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: it's the compassion. The government knocks on your door, you
- 2:04:45Speaker 2: can't pay your property taxes, and you lose your home.
- 2:04:49Speaker 2: You want to know what the compassion is? You've got
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: to get out. You've got to get out. We're auctioning
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: this place off. There's your compassion. None of these people
- 2:04:59Speaker 2: are going to be there to assist you or say,
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: we're sorry we lost your job. You're screwed.
- 2:05:04Speaker 8: We can't help it.
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: Your husband died or your wife died.
- 2:05:07Speaker 8: Sorry.
- 2:05:07Speaker 2: We know you want to grow a hole in your
- 2:05:08Speaker 2: house and die here. Screw you.
- 2:05:10Speaker 8: Get out.
- 2:05:11Speaker 2: This is what's happening, damn it. I don't want it
- 2:05:14Speaker 2: to happen to you. Vote no on everything with the
- 2:05:17Speaker 2: exception of police, fire, In your road departments. I mean,
- 2:05:22Speaker 2: your local services, police and fire, you've got to have it.
- 2:05:26Speaker 24: I agree with you completely. And if you're an educated voter,
- 2:05:29Speaker 24: you would support those issues. You would vote no on
- 2:05:31Speaker 24: all others. And you would vote up and down that ticket, Republican.
- 2:05:36Speaker 24: Three more things real quick, because I know you said
- 2:05:38Speaker 24: you got G2 out. You mentioned Dave Thomas.
- 2:05:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:05:41Speaker 16: Speak very highly of him, right?
- 2:05:43Speaker 24: He's endorsed Christine Oliver. And I don't think we hear
- 2:05:46Speaker 24: about that enough. Maybe we ought to look at candidates...
- 2:05:49Speaker 24: that Dave Thomas is endorsed.
- 2:05:50Speaker 2: All right. But go, go ahead.
- 2:05:52Speaker 16: That's one thing.
- 2:05:52Speaker 24: Number two, the other thing, the guy finally admitted today
- 2:05:56Speaker 24: he hates Trump.
- 2:05:56Speaker 4: Because he's a bully.
- 2:05:58Speaker 24: Well, He's been fed a bunch of BS, and he
- 2:06:01Speaker 24: believed it until you beat him down finally. And he said, well,
- 2:06:06Speaker 24: you're right, Ron. Your facts are correct.
- 2:06:08Speaker 16: Mine are wrong.
- 2:06:10Speaker 24: But I just don't like Trump. He's a bully. Well,
- 2:06:13Speaker 24: if you think Trump's a bully, what did you think
- 2:06:15Speaker 24: of Joe Biden when he told Ukraine, you better fire
- 2:06:18Speaker 24: this prosecutor or you're not going to get these billions
- 2:06:21Speaker 24: worth of aid that I have in my pocket for you?
- 2:06:24Speaker 24: That's worse than a bully, right?
- 2:06:27Speaker 2: How about you either take this shot, this experimental vaccine,
- 2:06:31Speaker 2: or you lose your job?
- 2:06:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:06:33Speaker 24: Now, guys like him, I mean no disrespect, but they
- 2:06:37Speaker 24: don't vote on factual matters. They vote on feelings. And
- 2:06:43Speaker 24: when you get caught in life dealing with feelings, you
- 2:06:46Speaker 24: always come out on the short end. You've got to
- 2:06:48Speaker 24: make the hard decisions, whether you like it or not,
- 2:06:51Speaker 24: and you've got to base it on facts. If you
- 2:06:53Speaker 24: base it on feelings, you're going to make the wrong
- 2:06:56Speaker 24: decision every time. And the Democrats will make you feel good.
- 2:07:00Speaker 24: They'll sell you a river and a lake and a
- 2:07:03Speaker 24: house and everything else, but then as soon as they
- 2:07:05Speaker 24: get in there, guess what? They're going to take it
- 2:07:07Speaker 24: back off you. They're going to redistribute it. They're going
- 2:07:09Speaker 24: to raise your taxes, and then they're going.
- 2:07:11Speaker 8: To want more.
- 2:07:13Speaker 2: There is a statewide candidate... Oh, wait a second. What
- 2:07:22Speaker 2: is it? Is it like 80 of 88 sheriffs in
- 2:07:28Speaker 2: Ohio endorse him for Faber? Yeah, Faber.
- 2:07:33Speaker 24: I think that's who you're talking about.
- 2:07:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Keith Faber. He has almost every sheriff in
- 2:07:41Speaker 2: the state of Ohio endorsing him.
- 2:07:44Speaker 24: What does that tell you? And common sense, right?
- 2:07:48Speaker 2: I think he's running for attorney general, I think.
- 2:07:50Speaker 8: Yes.
- 2:07:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:07:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:07:51Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, that is just damn impressive. He
- 2:07:53Speaker 2: was the.
- 2:07:54Speaker 4: Treasurer, right?
- 2:07:55Speaker 24: Now he thinks he's running for attorney.
- 2:07:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:07:57Speaker 2: You know, like, like I will vote. If you know
- 2:07:59Speaker 2: the military background of Frank LaRose, it is, it is
- 2:08:03Speaker 2: just impressive. I confess this to all of you and
- 2:08:05Speaker 2: I'm not, I'm not going to go too far with
- 2:08:08Speaker 2: it because of personal matters, but I was at the,
- 2:08:13Speaker 2: the there's a military cemetery, the Western reserve military cemetery
- 2:08:17Speaker 2: in which is in Ripman, and it's near and dear
- 2:08:22Speaker 2: to my wife and myself. And so she and my daughter,
- 2:08:29Speaker 2: they go there, they do the laying of these wreaths
- 2:08:31Speaker 2: every year, okay, that are contributions to, and for personal
- 2:08:38Speaker 2: reasons that I won't get into. But LaRose spoke there,
- 2:08:47Speaker 2: I think it was last year. And I stood there,
- 2:08:52Speaker 2: and he's just an impressive man with an impressive military background.
- 2:08:57Speaker 2: I mean, he is so impressive that I was thoroughly
- 2:09:00Speaker 2: impressed by his talk that he gave on those hallowed
- 2:09:06Speaker 2: grounds and those heroes that are put to rest there.
- 2:09:10Speaker 2: I was deeply moved by it, and it was an
- 2:09:13Speaker 2: honor for me.
- 2:09:13Speaker 8: To be there.
- 2:09:15Speaker 24: So the last thing I'll add is, and I hope
- 2:09:17Speaker 24: that G2 does reiterate this again, because everything you read
- 2:09:21Speaker 24: from those editorial articles, G2' s been saying that for.
- 2:09:24Speaker 2: Six, seven, eight months.
- 2:09:25Speaker 12: Well, didn't I say?
- 2:09:26Speaker 8: And I've got to be honest, Ron.
- 2:09:27Speaker 24: There were times where you argued with him about this fact.
- 2:09:30Speaker 2: I know.
- 2:09:31Speaker 24: And I tried to tell you, Ron, listen, you're not—
- 2:09:33Speaker 24: But I read— Because you were talking about your feelings
- 2:09:36Speaker 24: in the war.
- 2:09:38Speaker 2: Well, I still have those about the war. All Cal
- 2:09:40Speaker 2: Thomas is saying is, from an economic standpoint, the economy's
- 2:09:45Speaker 2: doing really well. Don't derail it.
- 2:09:49Speaker 24: Unless you believe the lies of the Democrats, and those
- 2:09:52Speaker 24: are just lies.
- 2:09:53Speaker 16: Talking points, campaign banners.
- 2:09:55Speaker 24: But when you get down to facts, And G2 has
- 2:09:59Speaker 24: been preaching it about inflation. I know you really got
- 2:10:02Speaker 24: upset one day and you had three of us on
- 2:10:04Speaker 24: the phone.
- 2:10:06Speaker 2: I think inflation is a big problem. However, you don't
- 2:10:11Speaker 2: throw the baby out with the bathwater. You don't vote
- 2:10:14Speaker 2: for the Democrats.
- 2:10:14Speaker 24: I don't think inflation is a big problem. I think
- 2:10:16Speaker 24: what we're seeing right now is a spike. because of
- 2:10:19Speaker 24: core inflation, because of the war and gas prices.
- 2:10:21Speaker 2: But that is inflation.
- 2:10:22Speaker 24: If you look at the numbers that G2 has told
- 2:10:24Speaker 24: you time and time again, true inflation, core inflation numbers,
- 2:10:28Speaker 24: even if you want to go there.
- 2:10:29Speaker 2: Well, guess what?
- 2:10:30Speaker 16: It's not high.
- 2:10:31Speaker 24: The problem is Democrats have a hangover from what Biden
- 2:10:34Speaker 24: did to them, and they're not realizing that real wages
- 2:10:38Speaker 24: are growing, maybe because half of them don't earn wages.
- 2:10:41Speaker 24: They collect a paycheck from the government.
- 2:10:43Speaker 2: Oh, that's dirty.
- 2:10:43Speaker 24: The other half are just too dumb to realize.
- 2:10:47Speaker 16: How's that?
- 2:10:49Speaker 24: I didn't plan on calling you today, but you got
- 2:10:50Speaker 24: me a little worked up. Now we're out of time
- 2:10:53Speaker 24: because the great GQ's coming on, but maybe tomorrow we'll
- 2:10:56Speaker 24: talk more.
- 2:10:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:11:00Speaker 8: Go ahead.
- 2:11:01Speaker 16: Good evening, Ron.
- 2:11:02Speaker 23: How are you?
- 2:11:03Speaker 2: Hi. Oh, that Teddy's something else. I'm okay, GQ. Take
- 2:11:06Speaker 2: it away. We're limited time.
- 2:11:08Speaker 5: Well, while you guys were talking, I pulled up the
- 2:11:10Speaker 5: Cal Thomas ad, and I'm looking at that article, his
- 2:11:14Speaker 5: writing on California gas prices from today.
- 2:11:18Speaker 2: This was in the weekend paper of the Vindicator, which was– Oh,
- 2:11:24Speaker 2: is that where it was?
- 2:11:24Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:11:25Speaker 2: I'll read it to you tomorrow when we have more time. Yeah.
- 2:11:28Speaker 5: So, you know, so I was just watching a video
- 2:11:33Speaker 5: of Ilhan Omar and her current husband, not her brother,
- 2:11:37Speaker 5: the other guy.
- 2:11:43Speaker 2: You mean not her gay brother. Let's be specific.
- 2:11:47Speaker 12: Right, right.
- 2:11:48Speaker 5: And, you know, there's a really funny joke in there
- 2:11:51Speaker 5: we're not going to tell. But she's walking on this
- 2:11:56Speaker 5: dock with her current guy, and, you know, it's this
- 2:11:59Speaker 5: beautiful Minnesota, sunny, sunny autumn afternoon. And she's got, of course,
- 2:12:03Speaker 5: Jihadi music playing. If the translation of this song that
- 2:12:09Speaker 5: I read is correct, it's amazing that this woman would
- 2:12:14Speaker 5: play this and post this to social media. And, you know,
- 2:12:19Speaker 5: the lyrics are all about conquering America, subjugating, you know.
- 2:12:24Speaker 7: The kafir.
- 2:12:24Speaker 5: And it's just a miracle that anybody, not a miracle,
- 2:12:28Speaker 5: whatever it is, that this woman can get elected in
- 2:12:31Speaker 5: a district of roughly 700,000 people, which means.
- 2:12:35Speaker 5: There's something strange going on in that district. Either there's
- 2:12:37Speaker 5: such a concentration of Somali and others who really came
- 2:12:42Speaker 5: here to rape the United States financially and conquer it,
- 2:12:47Speaker 5: or there's something really bad going on like what we
- 2:12:50Speaker 5: saw in the videos when she was elected, you know,
- 2:12:53Speaker 5: what was it, in 2020 when the videos came out
- 2:12:55Speaker 5: of the guy driving around with 100 ballots in his
- 2:12:57Speaker 5: car and the other guy was testifying how they intimidate
- 2:13:00Speaker 5: migrants to get them to give her the ballots and
- 2:13:04Speaker 5: all of that. So she can vote them. Her office
- 2:13:06Speaker 5: can vote them. So, you know, it just doesn't make
- 2:13:10Speaker 5: sense that in the United States and in Europe, we
- 2:13:13Speaker 5: continue to elect people who don't represent the interests of
- 2:13:16Speaker 5: the United States and Europe. So I was talking to
- 2:13:19Speaker 5: somebody in Europe this morning. I guess it was late
- 2:13:22Speaker 5: last night. And, you know, they are feeling very, very
- 2:13:26Speaker 5: grim over there. And they're not sure what they're going
- 2:13:29Speaker 5: to do. So they're making plans now to have, like,
- 2:13:31Speaker 5: their children move to, you know.
- 2:13:35Speaker 5: They're making plans so that people can move into places
- 2:13:37Speaker 5: where they can defend themselves, and many of them are
- 2:13:40Speaker 5: making plans to get out, because they think that the
- 2:13:43Speaker 5: continent has basically fallen. Now, that's not probably what you're
- 2:13:46Speaker 5: seeing in the media, but I don't watch a lot
- 2:13:48Speaker 5: of TV, so I don't know what's in the media necessarily,
- 2:13:52Speaker 5: but it's getting really ugly. And if you watch them,
- 2:13:56Speaker 5: people from foreign lands going into the Colosseum in Italy
- 2:14:00Speaker 5: and and chasing the tourists around. I mean, it's just
- 2:14:04Speaker 5: gotten brutal, what's going on in Europe. Now, here's the thing.
- 2:14:08Speaker 5: All of that is planned for us. And we know
- 2:14:12Speaker 5: it's planned for us because we have four years of
- 2:14:14Speaker 5: the Biden administration and whoever controlled it making it happen,
- 2:14:18Speaker 5: laying the groundwork for that here when they were allowing
- 2:14:21Speaker 5: the cartels to bring in all those Chinese communist operators
- 2:14:25Speaker 5: and these legions of military-age, breeding-age men. And so... The
- 2:14:32Speaker 5: differences between here and Europe, we still have some protections
- 2:14:35Speaker 5: on First Amendment rights. We're allowed to speak these things.
- 2:14:39Speaker 4: We won't necessarily go to.
- 2:14:40Speaker 7: Jail for it.
- 2:14:40Speaker 5: You might get a visit from the government, but you're
- 2:14:42Speaker 5: not going to jail. And we still have a Second Amendment,
- 2:14:46Speaker 5: which means we've got, in some communities, more guns than people,
- 2:14:50Speaker 5: so the jihadists will go to the weaker.
- 2:14:51Speaker 12: Communities, the less.
- 2:14:53Speaker 15: uh.
- 2:14:54Speaker 5: robust communities people want to find the families and start
- 2:14:56Speaker 5: there and and it's not that the similarity is of
- 2:14:59Speaker 5: course we've got these crazy people who really seek to
- 2:15:04Speaker 5: bring down the u.s. I saw a picture last night
- 2:15:06Speaker 5: that somebody posted on social media in the youngstown area
- 2:15:10Speaker 5: of these four or five women standing there with Amy
- 2:15:12Speaker 5: Acton and they just look so happy and I'm thinking
- 2:15:16Speaker 5: these are women in their say fifties forties fifties something
- 2:15:18Speaker 5: like that have they not realized what the policies are
- 2:15:23Speaker 5: that these people will bring and they not look, you know,
- 2:15:25Speaker 5: we've talked about California gas prices and this guy, um,
- 2:15:28Speaker 5: just wrote that column on it. You, you've, you've seen
- 2:15:33Speaker 5: four years of the migration. Are they that manipulated that
- 2:15:37Speaker 5: they actually are going to vote against their own family's
- 2:15:40Speaker 5: interest in the interests of these third world migrants in
- 2:15:44Speaker 5: the interests of, you know, say the abortion enthusiasts as well. It's, it's,
- 2:15:49Speaker 5: It's interesting to watch this, you know, and it would
- 2:15:51Speaker 5: be more interesting if it wasn't so dangerous.
- 2:15:54Speaker 4: But here we are.
- 2:15:55Speaker 2: All right. Stand by. Back with G2 in a minute.
- 2:15:59Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 2:16:03Speaker 8: I heart radio. If you run a business, your next
- 2:16:08Speaker 8: customer 570 WKBN. All right.
- 2:16:12Speaker 2: So as we get closer to Election Day, G2.
- 2:16:16Speaker 12: Yes.
- 2:16:20Speaker 5: I mean, obviously things are ramping up there. People are
- 2:16:25Speaker 5: getting more aggressive in their campaigning. A lot of folks
- 2:16:28Speaker 5: are out knocking doors, dropping lit, all the things that
- 2:16:30Speaker 5: they normally do. But it seems to me that there
- 2:16:34Speaker 5: is more energy that's been building over this last, say,
- 2:16:36Speaker 5: month or so. I can't tell where the polls are
- 2:16:41Speaker 5: because most of them are just constantly wrong and fake.
- 2:16:44Speaker 5: But I think the Republicans have a bit of a
- 2:16:48Speaker 5: hole to dig out from under. And you know the
- 2:16:51Speaker 5: democrats are bringing everything they have you'll notice that the
- 2:16:55Speaker 5: democrats are putting a lot of people out right now
- 2:16:57Speaker 5: to say there is no election fraud before the election
- 2:17:01Speaker 5: which tells me they're planning on the kind of thing
- 2:17:02Speaker 5: that just happened in brazil i don't know if you
- 2:17:03Speaker 5: caught this thing in brazil but it was another just
- 2:17:07Speaker 5: like in in twenty twenty they kept the polls open
- 2:17:09Speaker 5: for an extra two hours they didn't follow the law
- 2:17:12Speaker 5: they didn't follow the proper court system kept the polls
- 2:17:15Speaker 5: open for two hours to just keep counting ballots until
- 2:17:17Speaker 5: the communist one uh... it's, it's the same kind of
- 2:17:22Speaker 5: thing there. It's the kind of thing they did when
- 2:17:25Speaker 5: they counted ballots in the middle of the night, when
- 2:17:27Speaker 5: they suspended counting, then started again, and you got that
- 2:17:29Speaker 5: Biden curve, they call it, um, the big F curve.
- 2:17:34Speaker 5: And so, you know, we're in a really tenuous place
- 2:17:37Speaker 5: as a country. And, and it's obviously not just here.
- 2:17:40Speaker 5: I mean, this thing in, in Brazil, either the Bolsonaro
- 2:17:44Speaker 5: guys challenge this and the courts decide something, uh, make
- 2:17:50Speaker 5: a decision that reinforces the integrity of those elections, or
- 2:17:54Speaker 5: this is probably Brazil's last gasp. But if you look
- 2:17:57Speaker 5: around South America and Central America, since the fall of USAID,
- 2:18:01Speaker 5: they've begun to transition back to electing people who represent
- 2:18:05Speaker 5: the country. which is in our interest. We're better served
- 2:18:09Speaker 5: when they're representing themselves, their actual citizens. We can cut
- 2:18:12Speaker 5: deals with them.
- 2:18:14Speaker 16: We can't cut deals with.
- 2:18:15Speaker 5: These globalists who just want to rule the world and
- 2:18:17Speaker 5: these Marxists who just want to destroy and create tyranny.
- 2:18:21Speaker 5: So we're in a tenuous position. It's going to be
- 2:18:24Speaker 5: an interesting next few days as we lead up to
- 2:18:26Speaker 5: November 3.
- 2:18:29Speaker 2: You think? Boy, that's going out on a limb.
- 2:18:32Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:18:33Speaker 5: And, you know, one point that just hit, there's the
- 2:18:36Speaker 5: minister of defense in Italy. This Ukraine thing is going
- 2:18:39Speaker 5: to be very, very big in Europe right now. There
- 2:18:41Speaker 5: are people that are convinced that their governments are going
- 2:18:44Speaker 5: to start constricting them, and it's being talked about a
- 2:18:47Speaker 5: lot in the U.K. It's being talked about. It's been
- 2:18:48Speaker 5: talked about in Germany. Now in Italy, the minister of
- 2:18:51Speaker 5: defense says, we.
- 2:18:54Speaker 5: Should ignore society's position. If society is wrong and they're wrong,
- 2:18:58Speaker 5: we have to keep fighting in Ukraine. They're going to
- 2:19:00Speaker 5: try to keep Italy moving toward Ukraine as well. It's
- 2:19:04Speaker 5: a fascinating time.
- 2:19:05Speaker 8: All right.
- 2:19:05Speaker 2: Thank you, G2. More tomorrow with G2. Ron Firm, have
- 2:19:08Speaker 2: a good night, everybody.
