- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I am your host, rochelle.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm a holistic human design health coach and this is a space for human design and spiritual journey.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It's not about being a master of your emotions, rather mastering the tools to self-regulate, to awakening yourself and remembering who you are.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Human design changed my life about five years ago and I've been learning and teaching the system ever since.
- 0:24Speaker 1: This podcast is human design meets spirituality, meets astrology.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You don't have to have a belief system to be here, just an open mind and curiosity.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This is a journey of meeting yourself and awakening to your infinite potential.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Now let the magic begin.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of the Emotional Mastery Podcast.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It has been a summer.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I honestly don't even know where to begin.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I didn't post an episode last week, or I think a couple weeks before that I considered continuing the podcast or not.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But I do genuinely love this and I always come back to this space of like why not me?
- 1:06Speaker 1: Right, when things are maybe hard work, or when things don't appear like they're working out, or whatever it is, when things are challenging and we sort of want to give up it just come back to this mindset of you know, why not me?
- 1:25Speaker 1: And again.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Like I said, I do love this and I've been pretty not present here and on social media.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I've been so out of my routine and I know I talked about it before but I have Mars and Capricorn in the sixth house and so I don't realize how much of a routine I actually do have like routine and structure until I don't have it.
- 1:46Speaker 1: But I honestly, was up until like two, three o'clock in the morning almost every night, sleeping until 11 o'clock every morning this summer.
- 1:54Speaker 1: My kids were not here, they were in Colorado having a great time and I simultaneously it was like a summer full of lessons, full of confronting myself, my shadows, resting, like deep rest that I know that I needed.
- 2:12Speaker 1: So not showing up here and not putting out an episode every week although was, I don't want to say, frustrating, but I felt some sort of guilt around it.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But I also know that I really, really needed the rest and I'm okay with that.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But my kids got back on Monday night and so we've sort of been getting back into routine and I was sort of starting to get back into a routine a little bit before they came back.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Just as far as journaling consistently, which I pretty much did all summer, journaling has always been my go-to.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's always been the thing that I, regardless, no matter what we'll do every single day, even if it's just a page, I am pretty consistent with my journal, but adding in, tapping meditation here and there.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Uh, reading I mean I oh my gosh, I read so much this summer but just like reading more inspiring things and going back to listening to podcasts and I think you know, we have those friends that just show up for us, and so I've had some people that have been sending me inspiring podcasts and just sort of like getting my mind set back to where I know that it usually is or where it can be, rather.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But I also, yeah, I learned a lot this summer.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Like I said, it was really confronting.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I feel like it was a duality and like so many things, just being able to rest and noticing my patterns and noticing where I play into the drama, right, like with my words, and also learning that everything is as it is, not having any shame for things, being able to make decisions and not be like, oh my gosh, what if?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Or is this the right decision?
- 3:46Speaker 1: No, like it's all the right decision, right?
- 3:47Speaker 1: I mean, it's all for something and everything is perfect as it is.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And so, kind of coming back to that has been just helpful because, like I said, it's been very, yeah, confronting, noticing my shadows and the things that I need to work on and also having like a deep sense of acceptance of who I am, and I am, you know, especially in relationships, which is I was listening to.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Someone sent me a Danica Patrick podcast episode.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I can't remember who she was talking to and you know, but she was saying that she's had success in a lot of areas in her life, and relationships is the one area that she really, really struggles.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And the guest was like why?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Why is that?
- 4:29Speaker 1: And she's like, honestly, if I knew, I, you know I'd be able to do the work on it.
- 4:32Speaker 1: But I resonate so strongly with that because I feel like that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I mean there are a few areas of my life, but primarily I feel like that's the area that I need to do the most work.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's what I've come here to heal, that's the work that I've come here to do.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And sometimes I'm like, oh my gosh, when is it going to end?
- 4:49Speaker 1: When am I going to learn all my lessons and just be able to?
- 4:52Speaker 1: You know, because some people do call in relationships really easy.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Relationships are an easy area for them and it's just not so with me and I know even saying that is sort of creating, it's manifesting, because our words are really powerful.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And also, I do believe that every experience is getting me closer to myself, being able to approach situations in a more calm manner, but at the end of the day, I am very fiery, I am intense, I am emotional.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I am also learning to express that and so, yeah, there's just been a lot of lessons around relationships and how I want to show up and what I want and what I stand for, and setting boundaries, and, of course, they've been incredibly challenging, as much as they are like liberating.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I'm like okay, now I can sort of see it and be able to sort of just accept myself right.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Like to sort of just accept myself right, like I do feel intensely, I show up in a big way, and I was watching something, I think, on Instagram, but it was talking about people pleasing or like over giving rather in relationships and I know I give so much in relationships and how it's actually detrimental to the other person, like we think that we're helping them and we think that we're like giving and you know I just I'm pouring myself into you but honestly it's not allowing them the freedom to do their own thing in a way, and that's something that I have seen so much in myself, especially over the summer.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Like I give a lot in relationships and maybe I need to not give so much, but it is honestly sometimes hard to see clearly where that boundary needs to be Like, because I, you know, leo is very we're in Leo season, but Leo is like very warm and generous and playful and childlike and creative and all these things.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But it is like really giving.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's part of you know, leo rules the heart.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So Leo is very giving and I genuinely love to give and because it makes me feel good to see the other person feel good, and so I think it's really finding where those boundaries lie of, where I need to just reel it in a little bit.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm still sort of reflecting on everything that happened this summer and I'm sure I'll have more to say on that.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But I think, yeah, I think, like I said, one of the biggest, two of the probably the biggest lessons this summer has just been accepting everything as it is and knowing that everything is perfect as it is, every decision that you make, there is no right or wrong, and that every you can't make a wrong decision.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Uh, you may change your course, right, because we all have free will.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But whatever path I feel like you should I do feel, like I've always, always said this like what's meant to be will be.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I've said this my entire life, like my dad has always said that, and so I really embody that energy of just like.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I believe if something is meant to be like, it will, and that's really helped me with my emotional state sometimes, and everything works out for me.
- 7:47Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Everything always works out for me.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And yeah, just another lesson on like self-acceptance and just like being who I am and accepting myself as I am and being able to show up in that energy, regardless of what it looks like and how it might feel sometimes, but just accepting it all.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And I've honestly like haven't even really read much, like I'm always reading astrology stuff, but this summer I've just sort of I've been reading fantasy.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I've been reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I believe is what it's called the series, and I'm obsessed.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It's fantasy and, like I said, I always I'm like, I'm spirituality, I'm self-help, I'm astrology, I'm psychology.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm always reading those types of things and so I think to just take a break.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I am losing myself in these books in the most beautiful way, because I think that there is something about fiction that really activates the mind, and so I'm just letting myself be lost in it and I love it.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But we are about a week late on the transits for August, as I'm recording this as August 7th, so it's going to come out on the 8th, but really honestly, this past week not much is going on astrologically, like today, when I'm recording this is Wednesday, we have a couple transits, but the biggest thing from the past week was the new moon in Leo.
- 9:04Speaker 1: That happened on August 4th and this was, yeah, the new moon in Leo was happening in gate 33 in human design, and gate 33 is a gate of privacy.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I have my natal moon in gate 33.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So I'm really familiar with this energy and when I first like heard about it, I was like Leo is just so bold, like why would it need privacy?
- 9:24Speaker 1: But it really, truly does, because it gives so much, it really has to come back into itself and like take that time.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I think a lot of you know, leos that overgive, like sort of we were just talking about, they don't end up filling their cup and then they can feel bitter, resentful and, even worse, like depressed right, because it's just like you're giving so much, I think, of sort of like Robin Williams, like that Like he just gave so much of himself to other people that he almost had like nothing left for himself.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And so remembering to take that pause and to be fully in the present moment, and like coming back to yourself before you move on to a new experience, right, like learning the lesson and taking a moment to be still, and I feel like, for me, like that's almost what this whole summer was.
- 10:00Speaker 1: But Richard Rudd, he uses the example of just like friends coming together over tea and just like reflecting and reviewing, right, like that sort of like collective let's come together and assess and just reflect on what's happened.
- 10:13Speaker 1: And so you know, leo is a fixed fire sign.
- 10:18Speaker 1: It shines bright, it's ruled by the sun and it really calls for attention, whether it's wanted to or not, because I think a lot of like not all Leos like want attention, they want appreciation, they want, they want to feel seen, and I think they just like, naturally, because it is ruled by the sun, they're naturally gain attention, but it's not necessarily always attention seeking and I think that can be like a little bit of a misconception misconception around Leo.
- 10:46Speaker 1: But I feel like this full, this, this new moon, was really powerful because we just came off of two Capricorn full moons like book or sandwiching, a cancer new moon and, and so it was like this sort of like internal energy and like planning, and now Leo is just like let's create and let's be big and let's shine and let's really manifest and call in these things that are happening, and so this was a really important one.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So just like kind of assessing what you were feeling.
- 11:13Speaker 1: The new moon was sextile Mars and Jupiter, which were conjunct in Gemini, and so this can bring a lot of opinions for movement, expansion.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Of course, jupiter expansion it expands on everything, right, positive and negative, and so I'm air quoting positive and negative, but it expands on whatever it touches.
- 11:32Speaker 1: So it might not always be like super I mean, jupiter always carries an energy of optimism, but again, yeah, it's just going to expand on anything that it touches.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But also on the fourth was a huge day, not only because we have this new moon, but Mercury also went retrograde in Virgo and it's going to be dipping back into Leo.
- 11:50Speaker 1: So this is really focusing.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Of course, mercury is all communication, it's the mind.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Retrogrades are times when the energy of the planet sort of moves inward, and so it's really asking us to reflect, recharge, reassess, like all those RE things, so that we can really come back.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And that's why Mercury tends to have like a lot of like a mere quoting glitches, you know, in technology and things like that, because we're moving too quickly and energy really wants us to slow down.
- 12:16Speaker 1: And especially in Virgo.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It starts out in Virgo and that dips back into Leo, goes back into 21 degrees of Leo, which was around July 18, when it was at 21 degrees of Leo.
- 12:25Speaker 1: So, thinking back to, like things that have happened between July 18.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And now, or at least until August 4.
- 12:31Speaker 1: And those are sort of the themes that are going to be coming up.
- 12:34Speaker 1: But again, virgo, it's very analytical, it's a bit of a perfectionist, it's very much in service to other, organized, grounded, all these things.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And so, yeah, just noticing what's happening, being like grounded in yourself, taking time.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And Venus also moves into Virgo.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Virgo is a mutable earth sign and Venus and Virgo, like Venus and Leo.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Venus is our relationships, right.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Venus is values, morals, relationships, love, money.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's more around money and Taurus and sort of more focused on because it rules, taurus and Libra and it's more focused on relationships around Libra.
- 13:12Speaker 1: But when we're thinking about Venus and Virgo, venus and Leo, which is very big and bold and grand in the way that it loves and shows and focused on relationships, well, venus and Virgo is going to be more grounded, practical, realistic, right.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It's sort of asking us to also focus on our health, because Virgo rules the sixth house, which is health and daily routines.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So how are we showing up in our relationships in a way that is supporting our health, that is, supporting ourselves and our routines and all those things that are going to move us forward?
- 13:44Speaker 1: And so it's just really asking us to be practical and grounded when it comes to our relationships and material things.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And so that's sort of the big thing that was happening on the 4th August, 4th, which was on Sunday, and then today, as I'm recording this, the Sun is sextile.
- 14:02Speaker 1: The Sun in Leo, which is still in Leo, is sextile to Jupiter in Gemini and Venus in Virgo is conjunct Mercury retrograde in Virgo, and so Jupiter and Gemini.
- 14:11Speaker 1: You know this, sextile sextiles are harmonious aspects.
- 14:16Speaker 1: It's going to be really supportive.
- 14:17Speaker 1: This sextile sextiles are harmonious aspects, it's going to be really supportive.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You know, the sun and Jupiter big, bright, expansion, curious, playful.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You know both sides kind of want to have fun and play and so, like leaning into that during this transit.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Gemini is the mind, mercury rules Gemini, right, so it's the mind and communication, and so we might find ourselves or others right, being pretty opinionated today.
- 14:36Speaker 1: So take it with a grain of salt and just like, come back to yourself.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And then Venus conjunct, mercury or retrograde in Virgo is really, really focusing on our communication and our relationships, right, and so this is like reflecting on, like, how are you communicating in your relationships?
- 14:53Speaker 1: What's coming up?
- 14:54Speaker 1: How would you like to communicate?
- 14:56Speaker 1: What do you need to communicate in a really grounded and practical way?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Because that is Virgo, it's an earth sign, right, it is mutable, but it is an earth sign.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And so how are we showing up and what do we need to reflect on when it comes to the way we're communicating within our relationships?
- 15:13Speaker 1: August 14th, mars and Jupiter are conjunct in Gemini and Mercury also goes back into Leo, you know, during its retrograde phase, and Mars and Jupiter in Gemini.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Gemini um is going to be driving us towards communication, right, we might find ourselves, because Mars is assertion, it's action, of course.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Jupiter is expansion, optimism.
- 15:35Speaker 1: But we might find ourselves in some debates, right, or heated discussions, because Mars is fire.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Right, mars rules Aries and so there's fire in that.
- 15:45Speaker 1: And so the best form of communication if we can remember that the best form of communication is to listen and reflect back to it, right, like communication isn't just speaking, it's also listening, and not just like listening, it's really, really hearing what's being said, so that we can have a constructive and productive conversation from both sides.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Right, it's not just about speaking your opinion, but really, really, really hearing other people as well.
- 16:10Speaker 1: We could feel restless because Mars might make us feel a little bit restless and Gemini in itself, it's the twins, it's duality, it's curious and it's going from one thing to another, especially when it comes to the mind.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So maybe use this time to write down your goals and some action steps and take some action steps.
- 16:27Speaker 1: The energy of that is really going to be supportive of that.
- 16:30Speaker 1: But challenges here can be very overly opinionated.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And so you know, gemini is communication and it's also social.
- 16:42Speaker 1: So notice, we're like social media, right, a lot of people on social media, you know, talk about like the trolls or things like that, but a lot of people feel like they can be very opinionated on social media when they wouldn't necessarily be otherwise.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And so if you're feeling maybe triggered by that, or if you're feeling like you want to be, you know, saying things on social media that you might not just maybe like taking that pause and just like reflecting what you want to say, because, again, mercury is still in retrograde and so we're wanting to be slow when it comes to our communication, right, and Mercury rules Gemini, and they also meet in gate 35, which is the gate of change, which is found in the throat center, and the highest expression of this gate is to live with an open mind.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So when you do live with an open mind, you can change your life, and when you are changing yourself, it impacts others around you, and this is a collective gate, and so, but yeah, mercury also goes back into Leo.
- 17:34Speaker 1: During on this day as well, on the 18th, the sun and Mercury have a Kazemi in the sky, which just means in the heart of the sun, right?
- 17:43Speaker 1: And so this happens a few times a year when Mercury meets with the sun, and you know, the sun is big, bright and bold, and so when Mercury meets with it, we can't see Mercury because it's just like overpowered by the sun, but the energies sort of are like melted together, infused together.
- 17:59Speaker 1: And so this is, you know, our ego and our communication and Mercury being in retrograde again, really really turning that inward right.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And they're also meeting in gate 29, which is the gate of commitment.
- 18:09Speaker 1: It's the gate of yes, it's found in the sacral center, and the challenge with gate 29 is to commit to the correct things that really really feel good, because it can be easy to just say yes to everything.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I have gate 29 in my unconscious son, and sometimes I'm like yes, yes, I like yes, right, but then like I don't actually want to do it.
- 18:25Speaker 1: And then I kind of get I know that I can appear flaky because I'm like I'll commit to something, and then I'm like I actually don't really feel it, so really checking in with yourself before you commit to it.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And then on the 19th we have our full moon in Aquarius and the sun in Leo is square to Aquarius's ruler, uranus, which is currently found in Taurus.
- 18:47Speaker 1: We also have Venus square Jupiter and opposite Saturn.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So the full Venus square Jupiter and opposite Saturn.
- 18:51Speaker 1: So the full moon.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It's a time to release and to shed what's not working so that we can really call in and make space for the things that we do want to bring into our lives.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Right, full moon.
- 19:00Speaker 1: The sun and the moon are opposite, so this is sort of like the ego and the emotional body kind of contrasting or just being opposite, which is a challenging energy that we find coming through outside of ourselves.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Right, it's happening at 27 degrees of Aquarius and Leo and it's in gate 30.
- 19:19Speaker 1: The moon is in gate 30.
- 19:21Speaker 1: This is the gate of clinging fire, which is the most emotionally intense gate found in the solar plexus Moon phase.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Astrology calls this the friendship moon and Aquarius is a fixed air sign and it rules the 11th house, which is about the collective.
- 19:34Speaker 1: It's about friends, technology, freedom, right, ruled by Uranus.
- 19:37Speaker 1: It's a little quirky, it's the humanitarian and I feel like Uranus.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It's found just like anything, right, like there's always a duality within it, but it's like Uranus is the humanitarian, it wants to break the mold, it wants to step outside of the box, but it also had to have been so deeply inside of it to see what wasn't working and what wasn't fixing, to come outside and be like, okay, guys, like we need to change this right.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And so that's sort of the energy of this moon, but it's called the friendship moon from moon phase astrology because it describes and think it's beautiful, like so many of our relationships have some sort of like power play, right, like some sort of dynamic of that, like parent, child, boss, employee, um, and relate romantic relationships as well, right, sometimes it's like a control thing, um, power like, um.
- 20:25Speaker 1: And it's like friendships are relationships that we choose to show up in, right, we don't have to be friends with people, and I think it's the one thing that we can sort of like lose that and let that go and just like be there for the other person, of course, like every relationship has that possibility, and so obviously that's the goal of any relationship.
- 20:45Speaker 1: But I think friendships, you know, according to the book, is where we can really choose more, so to be in that relationship on an equal playing field, right, and so they really heal us, right, they listen to us, they're here for us, it's who we call when we're struggling or we want to talk about something or we need inspiration.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You know, like I said, even you know, getting back to myself, I felt really kind of lost and confused over the summer and I talked to a friend and she just sent me a couple of podcast episodes that really inspired me and she just reminded me that, you know, like it's okay, whatever we're going through is okay, and so that's sort of like that friendship energy.
- 21:19Speaker 1: But, yeah, the moon is opposite the sun and Mercury, which is in retrograde.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Mercury is in retrograde and it's square Uranus and Taurus.
- 21:27Speaker 1: This is really just challenging our way of thinking and our physical bodies, because Taurus is the physical body, right.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Uranus is unpredictability.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's shock, it's truth, it's anxiety a little bit right.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And so we might find some mood swings during this full moon, of course, depending on where Aquarius is and Taurus is and Leo is in your chart.
- 21:46Speaker 1: But we might feel pretty intense during this full moon and we might feel that pull towards like independence and freedom.
- 21:56Speaker 1: So, seeing where we're not feeling, you know, free, and where we're not feeling authentic, I guess right, because Leo is authentic.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And so then how can you just like release that a little bit?
- 22:09Speaker 1: And you know, venus, opposite Saturn is square, jupiter is bringing restriction and expansion on that.
- 22:14Speaker 1: So, again, looking at that and seeing where we can expand ourselves a little bit, where we can step into that, where we can use the structure of Saturn to really this is sort of something I always come back to with Saturn.
- 22:27Speaker 1: You know we Saturn restricts, but sometimes within the boundaries and within the restrictions.
- 22:32Speaker 1: If we create a container for like creativity, we can really flourish in that way.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And I think sometimes we don't think that we can be creative and like be held within a box and that might be the wrong terminology because it just it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: It feels restricting even when you say it.
- 22:46Speaker 1: But it's like when we can carve out time, like okay, I'm going to do five minutes to meditate and five minutes to write, and five, it's like when we're creating these containers we can really cultivate our creativity in a way that if we're just, you know, always so fluid and flowy and you know, sometimes it's harder to grasp that Like even the summer when I just had no structure and no routine and was just like going day to day.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I had no motivation, I didn't want to create, I had no creativity in me and so, again, creating back the containers and the structures was something that allowed me to sort of come back to myself a little bit Again.
- 23:20Speaker 1: The full moon is in gate 30, gate of clinging fire.
- 23:22Speaker 1: It's the most intense solar plexus gate.
- 23:25Speaker 1: It's pointing toward the root center, so there's a natural pressure to initiate the emotional experience.
- 23:30Speaker 1: And this gate is called the clinging fire because it tends to cling to an expectation and ideal and when it's not met it really crashes.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I have this in my unconscious son, and so I'm always feeling this energy.
- 23:41Speaker 1: It's really, really intense within me, but it is really intense, right.
- 23:45Speaker 1: So sort of the goal here is to enter into an experience without an expectation, so that way you're not disappointed, right?
- 23:54Speaker 1: The 22nd the sun moves into Virgo and this is a time when we're going to be generally, as a collective, focused on our health, our routines and sort of perfecting ourselves.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Virgo is a mutable earth sign.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It's ruled by Mercury and it rules the sixth house.
- 24:07Speaker 1: It's analytical, practical and Virgo is deeply in service to the other, and sometimes to a detriment.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I know a lot of Virgo people who feel almost obligated to help people because it's so within them, but then they find this sense of like, resentment or bitterness when it's not appreciated and I always ask, like, did that person ask you for that, right, because often they didn't, but they just want to be appreciated for it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And so, again, it's sort of that energy of like just knowing what you're showing up for and who you're helping and who you're in service to, and maybe being in service to like a bigger cause rather than a specific individual.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'm not saying like don't help people because it's like I think it's just like so much part of it.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But, yeah, just like not necessarily doing things out of obligation, right, because that's sort of when you'll feel that frustration.
- 24:58Speaker 1: But Virgo energy, you know, virgo is a perfectionist and it's here to perfect itself so that when we enter Libra, right, we can enter our relationships as our highest version of self, right.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And so, taking this time to really get yourself right, I guess, health-wise, where do you need to focus more?
- 25:17Speaker 1: What routines do you need to set?
- 25:19Speaker 1: What's working and what's not?
- 25:21Speaker 1: It's sort of this checkpoint in Virgo and then, august 28th, mercury stations direct at 21 degrees of Leo.
- 25:31Speaker 1: It's still going to have a shadow phase, but this is sort of the energy where we can sort of move it forward again, right.
- 25:36Speaker 1: So like take some time to reflect on everything that's coming up during the month.
- 25:39Speaker 1: What do you feel called to move on?
- 25:42Speaker 1: Like what's come up.
- 25:43Speaker 1: It's really a great time to just like do a lot of journaling, like reflection of what's going on.
- 25:48Speaker 1: And then Venus moves into Libra on August 29th and Venus is the ruler of Libra and it's all about relationships, values, morals, art, right, like Venus and Taurus is a little bit more like raw energy, whereas Venus and Libra is sort of more refined.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I guess it's always the way that I perceive it, but you know Venus is at home here and so it's really going to be focused on our relationships and so, you know, obviously transits are collective energy.
- 26:13Speaker 1: It's a part of a bigger story.
- 26:15Speaker 1: It's not like the whole thing.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So, really looking at how this impacts you and your chart and where your planets are and all the things, so definitely check your chart to see what's going on and how this might be impacted, because something may feel like in always, like in May, right, all astrologers were like the astrology is so supportive.
- 26:34Speaker 1: This and the other thing, I found May to be incredibly challenging, right.
- 26:37Speaker 1: So just because something theoretically is supportive in the transits doesn't mean that you're going to be feeling it that way, right?
- 26:44Speaker 1: So it's all unique and it's all individual and all the things, but that's most of the energy for August.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You can follow me on Instagram at Rochelle Christian R-O-C-H-E-L-L-E-C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N-E.

- 27:12Speaker 1: If you enjoyed it, share it with a friend.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And yeah, empower, which is a program, a nine-week program of really really coming back to yourself, will be beginning.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I'm going to have more information on that.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I've sort of pushed it back just because of the energy of like how, where I've been this summer.
- 27:29Speaker 1: So I really want to get myself.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Um, you know now that I'm back to sort of a routine and showing up again and all the things.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Um, I will be talking about that more and having a more, um, solidified date in mind, uh, coming up.
- 27:41Speaker 1: So check that out.
