- 0:03Speaker 1: Come back home to peace and ease to night, as
- 0:07you release all tension, physical and mental before drifting into
- 0:15a deep, restorative sleep. Whatever you're carrying right now, be
- 0:23it lingering energy from the day or even something heavier,
- 0:29this is your time to find freedom from it. This
- 0:35is your time to rest and retreat. My name is
- 0:42Jason Stephenson, and it's a gift to be your guide
- 0:46to night. You can fall asleep at any moment along
- 0:52the way, so make sure you're in a safe and
- 0:57comfortable space to do so. As we journey to a
- 1:06quiet cottage adorned by fairy lights and pink blossomed divines,
- 1:14you have full permission to release completely, not by force,
- 1:22but through natural gentle untangling. Allow my voice to guide
- 1:39you through that process, one step at a time as
- 1:45you come home to your quiet, steady self. As you
- 1:50come home to a solid night's sleep, begin now by
- 1:58drawing your attention to the soles of your feet and
- 2:04inviting them to let go. There's no where your feet
- 2:11need to take you. Tonight's travels will be inward. Relax
- 2:20your heels, your toes, your arches and ankles, and sends
- 2:34into your calves, encouraging them to soften. Your lower legs
- 2:48melt into the mattress supporting them, before your attention moves
- 2:55through your knees. Invite your knees to relax, then sends
- 3:08into the front of your thighs and into the back
- 3:17of them, guiding these muscles to let go. Take a slow,
- 3:31steady breath, as if you could breathe all the way
- 3:35down your legs. Inhale down to your toes, and as
- 3:45you exhale, let your legs relax even more. Your legs
- 3:54are deeply, deeply relaxed. Move your attention now to your tailbone,
- 4:09which roots downwards. Then widen your lens to encompass your
- 4:20entire pelvic space. Taking a few slow, cleansing breaths down
- 4:29into this area. With each exhale, your hips gently relax,
- 4:41and the sense of spaciousness fills your lower abdomen. Notice
- 4:54the rise and fall of your belly as you breathe.
- 5:01Encourage your core to soften to release any stress or contraction.
- 5:19Invite your lower back to gently melt as well. Before
- 5:25you slowly and gently travel up your spine inch by inch,
- 5:39Your ribs and all the muscles around and between them
- 5:45bind ease and lightness. Here then your attention rests gently
- 5:55in your heart and in your breath. Take a few slow,
- 6:06steady breaths into and out of your chest. You might
- 6:14begin to notice traces of lilac and honeysuckle on each inhale,
- 6:22a whisper of the place you're on your way to
- 6:32the subtle floral aroma travels from your lungs to your
- 6:37nervous system. As an energetic sigh leaves your body, it's
- 6:44a sigh of gentle, effortless surrender. Your muscles relax gently
- 7:01all the way up your shoulders, which release any weight
- 7:08they've been carrying than inch by inch, you trace your
- 7:20arms to your fingertips, guiding your upper arms to soften,
- 7:32your elbows to relax. Your lower arms melt gently, and
- 7:46your wrists they find ease. Your awareness now moves into
- 8:00the palms of your hands, which release any grip they've
- 8:07been holding on the day. Behind you, your fingers soften completely,
- 8:18and as they do, your mind melts too. Take a slow,
- 8:30steady breath all the way down your arms inhale to
- 8:37your fingertips, and as you exhale, let your arms relax
- 8:48even more. Feel the way they surrender to the support
- 8:55beneath them. Your arms are deeply, deeply relaxed. Your attention
- 9:15travels slowly back up to your shoulders. Guide any tension
- 9:22in those muscles to unravel just a little bit more. Slowly,
- 9:37scan the muscles along the sides of your neck and
- 9:43moving into your jaw area, which unclenches effortlessly, slowly and intuitively,
- 10:04scan through every inch of your face. Invite any tension
- 10:12or subtle contraction to melt. Sinking down into the support
- 10:18of your pillow, All the small muscles around your eyes untangle,
- 10:33and so does your forehead. As your whole face relaxes,
- 10:45your thinking mind let's go even more, and your head
- 10:52gives way to the support of the pillow and bed
- 10:56below you. And as your mind relaxes, you may become
- 11:09aware of a violet light stretching across your inner eye.
- 11:17Another whisper of the place you're moving into. Sense into
- 11:34your whole body as it rests here, heavy with the
- 11:40downward pull of gravity, yet still somehow weightless. Take a
- 11:52few slow whole body breaths, extending each inhale out to
- 11:59your hands, feet, and crown. Imagine your entire body is
- 12:08filled with pale violet light and a growing sense of spaciousness.
- 12:36And on your next exhale, let your whole body drop
- 12:42sink into the comfort of what's beneath you. Your physical
- 12:48space is holding and supporting you here exactly as you
- 12:53are now. Allow your awareness to center itself in your
- 13:07mind's eye and the soft amethyst light that fills it.
- 13:16A warm spring breeze drifts through, carrying those vermilion notes
- 13:24of lilac and honeysuckle, And on that canvas of your
- 13:30mind's eye, a quiet stone cottage on a peaceful, clear
- 13:37evening appears. The cottage has large windows with seed of frames.
- 13:49Vines wander across the weathered stone, boasting large pink blossoms
- 13:56that shimmer in the violet light of dusk. Dozens of
- 14:04potted plants surround the tranquil home or returning to bloom
- 14:11after winter. You lift your gaze to find a large
- 14:20oak tree grounded not far from the house. Glowing lanterns
- 14:28hang from its high ancient branches, casting ethereal light across
- 14:36the garden. You may not have been here before, but
- 14:46there's a sense of being welcomed home. You exhale a
- 14:53sigh of relief, trusting that you're in the right place
- 15:01that this cottage holds all that you need. The sun
- 15:11has sunk beneath the horizon, casting that enchanted lavender light
- 15:18up into the cosmos. You take a slow, deep breath in,
- 15:27filling with the fresh florrel air, exhaling as your shoulders
- 15:37melt towards the earth. The house is ready to hold
- 15:45and support you, so envision yourself moving towards its front door.
- 15:57Soft golden light beam out from the inside, imbued with
- 16:04the warmth and care this cottage contains, and as you
- 16:11arrive at the front door, you reach for the large
- 16:17brass knob, turning it slowly and stepping inside. You close
- 16:30the door behind you. Stepping into a large central living room,
- 16:38you feel instantly embraced, and a whole bodied surrender moves
- 16:45through you. You can feel the cottage taking over the
- 16:52work of holding, settling, and tending. It's not something you
- 17:01have to intentionally work at anymore. The house is here
- 17:07to do it for. You take a few slow, steady
- 17:16breaths to really arrive here, to give both mind and
- 17:21body permission to be held, to be deeply and unconditionally supported.
- 17:34There is nothing to fix or force, and nothing that's
- 17:39required of you, allow yourself to rest as the space
- 17:47naturally takes care of things. Now, as you look around
- 18:03the enchanted cottage, you marvel at how natural it is.
- 18:10On one side, a large living wall rises from floor
- 18:16to ceiling, alive with soft green moss, small budding florals,
- 18:25and emerging ferns. The other walls are formed entirely of stone,
- 18:38ancient and imperfect the way nature is trailing. Vines meander
- 18:47across these walls, rising from large planters that rest on
- 18:53the hardwood floor. Wooden beams arch overhead, dark solid and
- 19:13wrapped in fairy lights. From them hang dried herbs and
- 19:20wildflowers lavender, sage, and rosemary. Notice their subtle scent wafting
- 19:30through the room. On the far side of the cottage
- 19:41is an expansive window, offering a serene view of a quiet,
- 19:47dusk lit pond, And beside the window is a deep
- 19:54armchair draped with a wall blanket. You can feel the
- 20:01chair calling you, and very soon you will settle into it.
- 20:11But first you sense a deep intrinsic call to connect
- 20:17with the natural elements of the room. You sense they
- 20:22may have something to share with you. If you haven't yet.
- 20:30You slip off your shoes and tuck your toes into
- 20:34slippers instead. Then you journey deeper into the heart of
- 20:41the cottage, exhaling a sigh of relief as you embrace
- 20:47this natural, gentle home coming. You begin by move moving
- 21:00towards the living Wall, slow and unhurried. There is no
- 21:08need to rush here, and nothing is asked of you.
- 21:16You give yourself permission to explore gently, to move as
- 21:24if each step is an arrival. As you get closer
- 21:34to the living elements of the wall, more details stand
- 21:39out to you, like the countless shades of green, and
- 21:46the diversity of moss and leaves, from soft sage to
- 21:53deep emerald. The living Wall is a tapestry of dozens
- 21:59of plants species. Tiny beads of dew rest on the
- 22:06broad leaves, shimmering beneath the fairy light strung above. Some
- 22:20of the plants boast flowers, small delicate blooms in rose,
- 22:26violet and clementine tones. Your eyes trace their soft petals
- 22:34as your nose takes in their gentle aromas. You stand
- 22:43before the living war admiring and absorbing its freshness, its vitality,
- 22:54feel into your breath, noticing how it weaves into and
- 23:01out of the plant life. As you breathe, you become
- 23:12a part of this living wall. Your forehead softens, your
- 23:20shoulders melt, and your whole body is naturally guided to
- 23:27let go. There's nothing you need to cling to here.
- 23:44Slowly and gently now, whenever you're ready, you continue to
- 23:51move through the space. One of the exposed stone walls
- 23:59back condeu, so you make your way in its direction.
- 24:10As you arrive at the wall, your eyes trace the
- 24:14vines that crawl up it. How enchanted they are, you
- 24:21think to yourself. You admire the wandering paths they take.
- 24:31They do not grow in straight lines. Instead, they rise
- 24:37and loop and twist and turn, some sections cling closely
- 24:46to the stone, while others arc outward, suspended in the
- 24:53warm open space, are still completely supported. These vines are
- 25:11whispering a message to you now to trust your own
- 25:16path the way they trust theirs. Vines don't force their
- 25:24way forward, and they don't rush to get ahead. They
- 25:32feel respond and adapt to each moment with ease and grace.
- 25:46You release a deep sigh of relief, melting into this invitation,
- 25:55You surrender your attachments to the past, and future, just
- 26:01allowing yourself to be here. Instead, a deep sense of
- 26:08trust is growing from within the same kind of trust
- 26:15that the plants here embody responding to another whisper. You
- 26:32reach out to touch the stone wall, your fingertips land
- 26:39first before you plant your palm on its rugged surface.
- 26:47The stone is cool to the touch, but on the contrary,
- 26:53are warm and loving. It is these walls are here
- 26:59to support and protect you. These walls are your shelter,
- 27:07cocooning you in a safe space within. Take a few
- 27:15moments to feel the grounded strength of these walls flowing
- 27:21through your palms and into your very own body. Sends
- 27:29into your own strength, your own rootedness, your own capacity
- 27:37to support yourself. With every passing moment, you are naturally
- 27:55effortlessly releasing what does not serve you. It's not happening
- 28:02through force, through pressure, or out of fear. It's happening
- 28:10because you're coming home to yourself within the loving container
- 28:18of this glowing stone cottage. Release in this moment is
- 28:27more about remembering the quiet, steady, trusting place inside of yourself.
- 28:38So fill with more of that trust on each in breath,
- 28:48naturally releasing any tension physical or mental. On each out breath,
- 29:12the room is growing darker, which pulls your attention to
- 29:17the world beyond the window. The soft amethyst light in
- 29:24the sky has darkened. Now rich mulberry pervades, but the
- 29:35outside world is still luminous, and your eyes land on
- 29:41the full moon that's quietly risen to take its place
- 29:46for the night. It's a celestial body that never fails
- 29:53to enchant you when nature is ready to rest for
- 30:02these coming hours, and so are you. With grace, you
- 30:11make your way to that deep armchair by the window,
- 30:17settling into its plush surface and pulling the wall blanket
- 30:23up over you. Exhale a slow, deep sigh as you
- 30:32settle in A low lying table sits next to you.
- 30:48On it rests a clay mug filled with warm tea,
- 30:54its faint steam curling up into the quiet air. And
- 31:04next to the mug sits a potted orchard with white
- 31:09blossoms that are smooth, open and luminous beneath the light
- 31:15of the full moon. Take the mug into your hands
- 31:23and raise it gently to your nose. What kind of
- 31:29tea would be most nurturing for you at this moment?
- 31:35Imagine your preferred herbal aromas, perhaps lavender, come a mile
- 31:43lemon balm, or something else, rising as steam through your nostrils,
- 31:51slowing and quietening your mind. Then take a few slow,
- 32:03mindful SIPs, noticing how the herbs naturally gently invite your
- 32:11body to melt. As you sip your tea, you look
- 32:28over at the orchard. Its petals are in full bloom.
- 32:36Yet you can tell there's no strain or force behind
- 32:40their opening. Instead, there's softness and effortlessness. There's ease and grace.
- 32:54And as you admire this beautiful plant, as you inhale
- 33:00the fresh aroma of tea and greenery all around you,
- 33:07something subtle happens in your chest, a natural settling, a
- 33:15gentle widening. As your heart softens, expands and settles, you
- 33:29might even notice a small, gentle smile stretching across your
- 33:34face through your interior. It's a quiet smile of contentment
- 33:44as you remember the lightness, beauty, and ease that lives
- 33:50inside of you. It's a smile of homecoming, a smile
- 33:59of remembering. Mug still in hand, smile still in heart.
- 34:16You gaze out at the tranquil, moonlit pond. The water
- 34:23is still as glass, reflecting the peace and quietude that
- 34:30rises within you. For a few moments, you savor the
- 34:39world outside, the mulberry sky, the forested horizon, and the
- 34:50silver moon that watches over all of it. Then you
- 35:05call your attention back inwards, noticing how tired you've become.
- 35:15You set your mug back down on the table beside you,
- 35:20smiling at the orchard for a full, intentional breath one
- 35:32last time for tonight. You look around at the cottage
- 35:37that holds and supports you. How quietly alive it is,
- 35:45how supportive, steady, and nourishing this place is. You might
- 35:58like to silently whisper for a word of gratitude to
- 36:02this nature infused space. Then your head surrenders into the
- 36:13headrest behind it, and you naturally close your eyes as
- 36:25all the visuals disappear. Sends into the fullness of your body,
- 36:33and welcome yourself home right where you are. You are home.
- 36:46Exhale gently as you remember that at this very moment,
- 36:51there's nothing you need to do, nothing you need to achieve,
- 37:00no one in need to be. Feel how unconditionally you
- 37:10are held in this moment. Feel the warmth of care
- 37:16and love and support of the surface beneath you, the
- 37:21air around you, and the love within you. Now draw
- 37:36your attention to the crown of your head, and one
- 37:42last time for tonight, let's soften the physical body. Allow
- 37:50all the muscles in your forehead to soften, letting your
- 37:56thoughts go as well. Imagine ease and relaxation washing over
- 38:09your temples, moving through the sides, inside and back of
- 38:19your head, and invite your whole face to untangle. Let
- 38:29any lingering tension in your face or head sink into
- 38:35the pillows supporting you. Guide your awareness down the sides
- 38:46of your neck as if it could gently massage the
- 38:51muscles there. Then drop down into your shoulders as any
- 39:02residual weight or stress is released. There's nothing your shoulders
- 39:09need to bear right now. Welcome a slow moving current
- 39:21of release to move from your shoulders to your fingertips,
- 39:30softening your upper arms, your elbows, your lower arms, and wrists.
- 39:45Landing Jackie in both of your hands, now give your
- 39:55hands permission to surrender any lingering grip they might be holding.
- 40:03There's nothing to hold onto here. Breathe gently now into
- 40:19your heart, watching the gentle rise and fall of your
- 40:24chest with each cycle on the inhale, your heart widens
- 40:38as effortlessly as a blooming orchid, and on the exhale
- 40:45it softens like nightfall. Invite this natural relaxation to exit,
- 41:00denned throughout your entire chest and through your back as well.
- 41:10Let it sink down into your belly, which expands and
- 41:16softens naturally. Your pelvic space fills with ease as well.
- 41:33Your hips are softened and soothed, and naturally this cascade
- 41:45of relaxation flows down your legs, bringing ease and lightness
- 41:52to your thighs, to your knees, to your calves and ankles,
- 42:08and down into your feet. Feel your feet really anchoring here,
- 42:21Let them be heavy, let them rest completely. Take a
- 42:36few whole body breaths, as if breathing into every far
- 42:42corner of yourself. With each inhale, your whole body expands gently,
- 42:56and with each exhale is surrender deeper and deeper and deeper.
- 43:14Breathe naturally. Feeling the weight of your body on the
- 43:19bed supporting you. Notice how gently and powerfully gravity is
- 43:35holding you here. You are held deeply, warmly completely. Now
- 43:52let yourself drift as nature does, into rest. You don't
- 44:02need to force it to happen or rush to get there.
- 44:08Just trust that sleep is on its way, and until
- 44:14it comes, let yourself be rocked by your breath, like
- 44:21a wave moving into and out of your body. There's
- 44:29nothing to fix or figure out, nothing to prove or achieve.
- 44:40Give yourself for permission to be here, simply breathing. As
- 44:47you naturally and gracefully transition into sleep, you be supported
- 45:01by restorative sleep and sweet dreams. And until next time,
- 45:10good night, my friend, Good night,
