- 0:20Welcome to our broadcast, ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:23I appreciate you joining me every single chance that you can.
- 0:27Uh, it is my hope and my desire that uh you get a good education on the what is happening around the world from a perspective that you don't normally get through the mainstream media.
- 0:38And that perspective is truth, facts, information that you could absorb and make a decision as to how you feel about what you receive, and if you wish to take any action, meaning getting involved in helping uh solve some of the problems that we're faced here in the United States and around the world, by all means, uh I encourage people to step up.
- 1:01Step up and a volunteer with some organizations in your community that can be a benefit not only to the people who live in your community, but people around the world.
- 1:12And here in the United States.
- 1:13Now, you might think, gee, that's a pretty tall order, isn't it, there, Mr.
- 1:17Rogers?
- 1:18Uh, what what can I do to help somebody around the world?
- 1:21Well, there's a lot you could do.
- 1:23And uh maybe we'll get into a broadcast one day on just exactly what you can do by just stepping up and volunteering.
- 1:29How about that, folks?
- 1:30How about that?
- 1:32Well, what about this, folks?
- 1:35And I I gotta tell you, I'm gonna talk to you about a criminal case.
- 1:40All right, the one criminal case, recent criminal case, that in my view has become a train wreck.
- 1:47I mean a real train wreck.
- 1:50Now, most of you know that not only am I a retired U.S.
- 1:53naval officer, but I am also a retired detective lieutenant from a police department in New Jersey.
- 2:00I've conducted investigations my entire career.
- 2:04I've investigated all sorts of crimes.
- 2:07So I would say that to a certain degree, I know what I'm talking about.
- 2:12When it comes to uh investigations, how they're conducted and who's conducting them.
- 2:17But there's a criminal case that's starting to bug me.
- 2:20I mean, really bug me.
- 2:22And maybe it's gonna maybe it started to bug you, I don't know.
- 2:25But the only way I could define where we are now with regard to this particular criminal case is that it is a train wreck.
- 2:35Now, what I'm about to say can be interpreted as not being sympathetic.
- 2:39I know I'll hear from people, oh, you know, it's a shame the victims of this crime day in and day out, they got to hear negative things, and now uh you're going after the investigation.
- 2:49No, I'm not going after the investigation.
- 2:52I care about the outcome of all investigations, that it'll bring peace and closure to victims of crimes.
- 3:00But I've got to tell you, folks, the the train wreck that I'm going to talk to you about right now uh does involve some questions about the police investigation, does involve about some of the people who've been interviewed, uh, what strategies, what tactics, what investigation methodologies are being used that were neglected.
- 3:21I mean, this has nothing to do with the victims, but everything to do with the who, the what, the when, the where, and the why of this investigation.
- 3:33That's what I'm focusing in right now.
- 3:36And again, to clarify, I'm gonna absolutely clarify this and make it very clear.
- 3:42I am sympathetic and genuinely care about victims of every crime, including the case that I am about to discuss.
- 3:51So here we are, folks.
- 3:53Here we are.
- 3:54I know you're on the edge of your seat right now.
- 3:57I know your ear is now really tuned up.
- 3:59What is he talking about?
- 4:01What case is he talking about?
- 4:04What case is he talking about that we probably, in his view, meaning my view, uh, that that we all know about and has become a train wreck.
- 4:13How about this, folks?
- 4:14I'll speak for myself, not for you or not for anybody else.
- 4:18I could tell you that I'm growing increasingly weary of hearing about the ongoing criminal investigation into Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Savannah Guthrie from the Today Show, who has allegedly been kidnapped and has been missing for quite a while.
- 4:38Yep, I'm getting weary about this entire case, hearing day in and day out uh a lot about this case, where it's going, where it's been nothing new, nothing new, but for some reason we seem to have a press conference or breaking news, as they say on the mainstream media every day.
- 4:56Now, from the day the sheriff who's leading this investigation on this case appeared at a press conference in February.
- 5:03Think about that, folks.
- 5:05In February, I rolled my eyes.
- 5:08I've got to tell you, I rolled my eyes, and I thought that this guy is way over his head.
- 5:14Now, me being a retired law enforcement officer, I support law enforcement officers 100%.
- 5:21I do.
- 5:22100%.
- 5:23If they're wrong, I will call them out because that's my way of supporting good cops.
- 5:29Good cops don't like bad cops.
- 5:31Good cops want bad cops to retire or to get fired.
- 5:36We don't want bad cops around.
- 5:38Am I saying that the sheriff is a bad cop?
- 5:41No.
- 5:42But I'm saying the sheriff conducting this investigation is not the most well-versed uh trained officer when it comes to investigations.
- 5:54I don't know the guy, maybe a good leader, a good sheriff down there.
- 5:57I'm not questioning his character or his leadership abilities to lead uh the sheriff's department, although many have done some research into this guy's background, and boy, it raises a lot of red flags from what I'm told, where people are scratching their heads saying, how did this guy become a sheriff?
- 6:15From what I understand, these sheriffs in that part of the country there are elected.
- 6:20What do you think of that, folks?
- 6:21They're elected.
- 6:23Which means it is very easy to transition from a professional police officer, a professional law enforcement officer, to a professional politician.
- 6:36Meaning from being a professional law enforcement officer who will bring you facts based on evidence that is actionable and credible, transitioning from that to becoming a professional politician who will maybe exaggerate a little, maybe give you information based not on actual facts and credible actionable evidence.
- 7:00Actual facts and credible actionable evidence.
- 7:04Now I'm not saying I have no proof that this sheriff did that, but in my opinion, I think he's come close to it.
- 7:04Now, I'm not saying I have no proof that this sheriff did that, but in my opinion, I think he's come close to it.
- 7:11What do you think of that, folks?
- 7:11What do you think of that, folks?
- 7:12I think he's come close to it.
- 7:12I think he's come close to it.
- 7:14Now, why would he do that?
- 7:14Now, why would he do that?
- 7:16The politician, folks.
- 7:16The politician, folks.
- 7:18If he's elected to office, he is a politician.
- 7:18If he's elected to office, he is a politician.
- 7:22And by the way, if he is appointed to office and doesn't have some sort of protection from politics, then he
- 7:22And by the way, if he is appointed to office and doesn't have some sort of protection from politics, then he is acting like most people who are appointed by a politician to officers.
- 7:36They become puppets of the politician.
- 7:40Pretty tough.
- 7:40I know.
- 7:41I know.
- 7:41I get listen, I hear from people, oh, that's kind of tough.
- 7:44That's kind of kind of tough on these people.
- 7:46Well, it may be tough, but it's a tough world, isn't it?
- 7:49It's a tough world.
- 7:50Look, I tell it like it is.
- 7:52Look, as of today, all these months have passed.
- 7:55Come on, all these months have passed, and ongoing developments continue to occur.
- 7:59Every day there's another occurrence.
- 8:01You know, I've been involved in this for my lifetime.
- 8:05We've had investigations where we've had press conferences where we would send out press releases.
- 8:11Not every day, not every minute of the day.
- 8:14All right.
- 8:14Politicians do that.
- 8:16Professional law enforcement officers do not do that.
- 8:20You gather a totality of information that you can share with the public without compromising the investigation.
- 8:28And you want to share stuff that the public could help you with.
- 8:31That's very important.
- 8:33Now, a good idea is you periodically give information that will help curb what?
- 8:40Curb what, folks?
- 8:41Think for a millisecond, curb conspiracy theories.
- 8:45There's all kinds of conspiracy theories out there on this case.
- 8:48I mean, all kinds of crazy stuff.
- 8:50So it's good to get information out there to make to set the record straight.
- 8:54To take these conspiracy theories head on and say, look, it this is not true.
- 9:00This is what's out there, this is not true, this is what's true.
- 9:04And I've said this all along.
- 9:05The only way you get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, is not out of the mouth of a politician, but out of the mouth of professional career law enforcement officers.
- 9:16You get that from the FBI, you get that from the large city police departments, LA, NYPD, and a lot of uh police departments, local police departments, smaller ones that know how to deal with the press and know how important information is when you feed it to the public.
- 9:36Important to the investigation.
- 9:38But like I said, from the day the sheriff came to the microphone, man, I'll tell you, I scratched my head and said, I wonder where this is going.
- 9:47I was right.
- 9:48I was right, folks.
- 9:50And not only was I right, not hundreds, but thousands of law enforcement officers across the country are scratching their heads.
- 9:57Believe me, they are, over what they have seen and heard from this particular sheriff.
- 10:04And again, I ask you, as the months have passed, are we any closer to a conclusion?
- 10:10As the months have passed, is there any real credible, actionable information that they could share with us, meaning law enforcement could share with us?
- 10:20What about the updates?
- 10:21Have we learned anything more from the updates?
- 10:25Many of the updates that I've looked at provide very little, if at all, any relevant information to the investigation.
- 10:35But politicians love microphones.
- 10:38They do.
- 10:39And again, I know sounds like I'm accusing him of uh being a politician, but he is.
- 10:45He is.
- 10:46This is how a politician acts.
- 10:49My view, my opinion.
- 10:51And again, I'm not going to condemn the guy fully.
- 10:55I'm just going to condemn the actions.
- 10:56I don't know the guy.
- 10:57He could be a great character.
- 10:59He got elected.
- 11:00All right.
- 11:01So apparently the people want him in office.
- 11:03Now I hear that, well, that might not be the case coming around the re-election time.
- 11:08Be that as it may, they got to really think twice before they go to the microphone and start feeding the public information that is not relevant to the case.
- 11:18Why?
- 11:19Why are they doing that?
- 11:20Politics, folks.
- 11:22Ideally, I've got to tell you, the sheriff, he would have involved the FBI from the very beginning to oversee the investigation.
- 11:30They've got the skill, they've got the tools with their cutting-edge technology and their highly skilled investigators.
- 11:37I got to tell you, folks, I believe they could have solved this case very efficiently sooner than now.
- 11:45Why did not the sheriff of that law enforcement agency do that?
- 11:53Go to the FBI and say, here, take over the investigation.
- 11:56You got the tools, you got the most advanced technology on earth that could help us solve this case sooner rather than later.
- 12:06I don't understand it.
- 12:08I just don't understand why he didn't do that, other than control.
- 12:13Again, politics.
- 12:15Politicians like to control things.
- 12:18But this case, as a result of that particular tactic or strategy, whatever you want to call it, this case has become a national train wreck.
- 12:30So now you've got all types of news coming out again and again and again.
- 12:36And they happen to be breaking news.
- 12:37You notice on the news today, there's no regular news coming out.
- 12:40Everything's breaking news.
- 12:41Breaking news.
- 12:42We found DNA at the uh uh uh the site that the crime was committed, all right.
- 12:49We found a uh piece of hair fiber in the woods.
- 12:52Oh, we found a shovel, we found this, we found that's all breaking news.
- 12:57Every day, there's something different.
- 12:59Breaking news, the car is here.
- 13:01There was a car scene, breaking news, there was a car in a driveway.
- 13:05Folks, it gets, I tell you, I get sick and tired of it.
- 13:08But this is how this has become a train wreck.
- 13:12And it just baffles me why this continues to go on and on and on.
- 13:18And the only answer I come up with, the person leading the investigation, the sheriff, he is the one perpetrating this.
- 13:26The FBI, I haven't heard much from them because they're not the lead investigators.
- 13:30Right now, I think they're a little bit more involved.
- 13:33Uh so red flag number one for me was hey, why don't you go to the FBI?
- 13:39They got the cutting edge technology.
- 13:41What are you kidding me?
- 13:42Nope, didn't do that.
- 13:44Then another red flag was the FBI, I believe at some point early on, it offered uh the laboratories that they have to inspect the DNA and blood samples, etc.
- 13:56He wouldn't do that, from what I understand.
- 13:59He has some sort of a lab that they contract out to in that area that was uh going to and did, I believe, do some lab analysis.
- 14:00Sort of a lab that they contract out to in that area that was uh going to and did, I believe, do some lab analysis.
- 14:08I don't know what the outcome of that was.
- 14:08I don't know what the outcome of that was.
- 14:11Unbelievable.
- 14:11Unbelievable.
- 14:12Why you go into a private enterprise?
- 14:12Why are you going to a private enterprise?
- 14:15Politics, folks, keep in mind.
- 14:15Politics, folks, keep in mind.
- 14:17Politics is always a train wreck.
- 14:17Politics is always a train wreck.
- 14:19All right, always, always when the the motives of a politician take precedence over the motives of law enforcement agencies.
- 14:19All right, always, always when the motives of a politician take precedence over the motives of law enforcement agencies like this case, they become a train wreck.
- 14:33The motive of a law enforcement agency is to solve the crime.
- 14:37What is the motive of a politician?
- 14:40To get in front of microphones, to get publicity, to let people know you are in charge.
- 14:47Again, I'm not saying that this was the motive of the sheriff, but it does cause me to pause.
- 14:54And I believe as you're listening to me, you might be pausing right now, scratching your head, saying, you know what?
- 14:59I never thought of that.
- 15:02I never realized it.
- 15:04Now, if you notice, not much news anymore coming out of that area of the country, right, with regard to Nancy Guthrie.
- 15:11A little here, a little there, but I think even the press got a little tired of that.
- 15:15So we'll see.
- 15:16We'll see when the next big break comes.
- 15:19Every break is a big break, according to the sheriff down there.
- 15:22But uh there are some um uh bits of information that have come out that may be of interest, but I don't think anywhere.
- 15:30The latest breaking news story about this case uh was that there was an in the individual responsible, listen to this folks, for the abduction of Nancy Guthrie from her residence in the early hours of February 1st, 2026, appear to be taking considerable measures to evade apprehension.
- 15:50Breaking news, folks.
- 15:52Breaking news.
- 15:54That comes from some talking head that was on a talk show that wanted to give us expert analysis as to what's really going on down there.
- 16:08What did he tell us?
- 16:10He told us that the person who committed this ghastly crime is taking taking very strong measures to evade apprehension.
- 16:18What criminal doesn't do that?
- 16:20What's breaking about that?
- 16:23People who commit crimes, especially something to this degree, kidnapping or murder, whatever, what do you expect them to do?
- 16:30Walk around the streets?
- 16:32Hey, Joe, let's go have some coffee.
- 16:35Of course, they're going to take strong measures not to be apprehended.
- 16:39But that came about as breaking news.
- 16:41Oh, yeah.
- 16:42Followed up by some press conference that somebody out there, no doubt, heard on the news like others did, and decided that, well, that's something we need to share with the public.
- 16:55How does a person who's supposed to be an expert come to this conclusion?
- 17:01Many months into this investigation is perplexing to me at least.
- 17:05In fact, I'm sure many people who drew this conclusion that the guy that had committed this crime or girl that committed this crime is looking to evade apprehension.
- 17:17Uh I'm sure they concluded this a long time ago.
- 17:20Or he would have been caught.
- 17:21So to my point, what is breaking about this?
- 17:24Really?
- 17:26What is breaking news about this?
- 17:28You tell me.
- 17:28Doesn't it detract you?
- 17:30It detracts you from the uh uh the the real meat of this investigation.
- 17:36It distracts law enforcement.
- 17:40It distracts everyone.
- 17:42Again, train wreck.
- 17:44Now, a news reporter shared this information, by the way, after hearing from a retired law enforcement officer, all right, who described the suspect's behavior as attempting to get you folks, it did if it wasn't so serious, it would be laughable.
- 18:02Going on the air, letting the world know that the sussect's behavior is one that will reveal to all of us that he or she is getting as far away as possible from the crime scene.
- 18:15Again, breaking news.
- 18:17So a criminal commits a crime, all right, and decides not to go back to the crime scene, but to go as far away from the crime scene as possible is now breaking news.
- 18:27Because there is no more news to report out of that train wreck.
- 18:31I've arrested people, people over 30 years as a police officer.
- 18:36I arrested tons of dozens of them, maybe over a hundred or so, who knows.
- 18:40Not one of those criminals that I've arrested were ever apprehended by making themselves purposely intentionally visible to the police.
- 18:52They were hiding.
- 18:54So we knew that they weren't going to come around.
- 18:56We know that they were evading apprehension.
- 18:58So we had to investigate further as to where this person might be or be headed.
- 19:05Where will they be going?
- 19:06Where do we think they are?
- 19:09But that's breaking news.
- 19:11So frankly, I'm going to tell you something, folks.
- 19:13And here, I know I'll be accused right now again of being insensitive, which I'm not, but I got to tell you, news like that, who cares?
- 19:23Frankly, who cares that this criminal in his or her mind has decided to evade apprehension?
- 19:34Because we know that already.
- 19:35We know that.
- 19:36Who cares?
- 19:37I don't care.
- 19:38Maybe you care.
- 19:40What I care about is the police continuing aggressively continuing the investigation to apprehend this person and to solve the crime.
- 19:51If in fact, here we go, ready, if in fact it was a kidnapping.
- 19:55Uh-oh, what are you leading to?
- 19:57Well, I'm leading to all options are open, as far as I'm concerned.
- 20:02There has been no proof as far as I'm concerned.
- 20:05No, not enough credible evidence that there was actually a kidnapping, in my view.
- 20:13They call it a kidnapping.
- 20:14Well, that's what they call it.
- 20:16That's what it is.
- 20:18I don't like to be a Monday morning quarterback.
- 20:20I don't like people breathing over my shoulders, questioning what I'm doing in an investigation.
- 20:24I don't like to do that with other people.
- 20:27But this is a public, public train wreck right now.
- 20:31So I feel comfortable enough to say that if I was leading the investigation, and I'm sure if, you know, I've always say, you know, you get uh half a dozen New York City police detectives on a case, they'll have the case solved within a very short period of time.
- 20:45You get uh a half a dozen New York City police detectives investigating this case.
- 20:50I believe that they will have the case solved sooner rather than later.
- 20:55And I believe that they would have never, never classified this as a kidnapping, even up to this point.
- 21:00As a kidnapping.
- 21:01Even up to this point.
- 21:02I believe that.
- 21:02I believe that.
- 21:04It would have been a missing person, folks.
- 21:04It would have been a missing person, folks, a missing person.
- 21:07A missing person.
- 21:09Do we know if she's alive or not?
- 21:09Do we know if she's alive or not?
- 21:12Do we know if she has been murdered?
- 21:12Do we know if she has been murdered?
- 21:15Do we know if she was actually kidnapped?
- 21:15Do we know if she was actually kidnapped?
- 21:17We don't know any of this stuff.
- 21:17We don't know any of this stuff.
- 21:19But yet, they're calling it a kidnapping.
- 21:19But yet, they're calling it a kidnapping.
- 21:23Train wreck.
- 21:23Train wreck.
- 21:25Absolute train wreck.
- 21:25Absolute train wreck.
- 21:27So, like I say, I don't care about meaningless news and new.
- 21:27So, like I say, I don't care about meaningless news and news conferences about this investigation that has been and in my view will be a train wreck up until they solve it and God knows how long, I hope sooner rather than later.
- 21:41But I've got to tell you something.
- 21:44Some of this stuff that the uh people, law enforcement officers out there putting out, I believe can actually compromise sometimes investigations by innuendo.
- 21:55In other words, why are you going on the air?
- 21:57And you're speaking about things that have uh pretty much nothing to do with the case, but may give the criminal an idea of what to do next, may give the criminal an idea what law enforcement is thinking.
- 22:11Why do that?
- 22:12Why, folks?
- 22:13Politics.
- 22:14Politics, folks.
- 22:17So we see now a lot of news media outlets are drawing conclusions not based on facts, just based on opinion.
- 22:24Some of them manufacture this.
- 22:26And a complete lack, and this troubles me to say that.
- 22:30A complete lack of investigative integrity from start to finish.
- 22:34You gotta you gotta maintain some sort of integrity.
- 22:38All right.
- 22:39You gotta be honest with the public.
- 22:40You can't run to the microphone every five minutes.
- 22:43And it shouldn't be anyone elected, anyone elected should be at that microphone talking about this case until it's solved.
- 22:52I get sick to my stomach when there's a crime committed across this country, and immediately a mayor, a senator, every politician has to get involved.
- 23:03Oh, I'm sorry for the victims, and we've got to block up the criminals, and we gotta do this and do that.
- 23:08Who cares what you have to say?
- 23:10We want to hear from the police chief who's not elected.
- 23:13We want to hear from the commissioner of the police department, who may have gained uh a lot of confidence in the eyes of the public.
- 23:22There are police commissioners who are puppets on a string.
- 23:25Uh, people have no confidence in them.
- 23:27They gotta do what they're told.
- 23:28I'm talking about true professional law enforcement officers.
- 23:32That's what I'm talking about.
- 23:34Investigative integrity from start to finish also means what they are feeding the public.
- 23:40In this case, nothing but a train wreck.
- 23:44To make matters even more complicated, there's certain media outlets who are now inviting guests to speculate on what might be going on, what on what might happen, on what's going through the minds of the victims and the suspects.
- 23:57They're mind readers now.
- 23:58Everybody's a mind reader.
- 23:59Oh, this is what I think the uh family's thinking about.
- 24:02This is what the suspect may be thinking about.
- 24:05Who cares?
- 24:07I don't care, and I don't think most people care.
- 24:10What we care about is the criminal being caught and the crime being solved.
- 24:15And if you don't have anything, any value to add to that, then stay away from a microphone.
- 24:22How about that, folks?
- 24:24And then you got guests are being asked to share with the public what they believe the suspect's next move is.
- 24:33Imagine going on air, the suspect is listening, and he's listening to you say, Well, I think the suspect's gonna do this and do this and do that and do this.
- 24:45There you give an information to the criminal suspect again.
- 24:49That's why I call this criminal case a train wreck.
- 24:56How else do you define it, folks?
- 24:58How else do you find it?

- 25:11I would talk about facts.
- 25:13I would talk about things that I believe would be helpful to the public to understand where law enforcement is and where law enforcement is going with this.
- 25:23All right, but without revealing every every turn that the law enforcement agencies are taking to capture the suspect, because the suspect's listening.
- 25:33For goodness sakes.
- 25:35Anyway, it's a train wreck, folks.

- 30:33Thank you so much.
- 30:34And thank you so much to your families who are here on the home front keeping your families strong.
- 30:39God bless you all.
- 30:41Now, during this segment of today's broadcast, uh, I get what I call out loud for God.
- 30:46You know, America Out Loud News.
- 30:49We certainly get out loud about the news, we speak about the news, we speak about events uh surrounding uh our country, surrounding our cities, our towns, our states, and front news from around the world.
- 31:01So we make it a point to bring some credible, relevant, actionable news to you, hoping that at some point in time you'll get involved.
- 31:09You'll get involved in uh volunteering at a certain organization, maybe in your community, uh, maybe from time to time thinking about getting involved in politics, getting involved with the military, get involved.
- 31:22Very important.
- 31:23But get involved to a point where you're going to be adding value to freedom, to liberty, to individual liberties.
- 31:32How about that, folks?
- 31:34So we get a lot of people involved in a lot of different things that are not very good for our country.
- 31:38Well, it's about time we start talking about getting involved with things that are good for our country.
- 31:44And one thing, especially during this segment, that I advocate that all of us get involved with, and that happens to be a person.
- 31:53Yeah, you should be involved with a person.
- 31:55Become friends with the person, and that person happens to be God Almighty.
- 32:00That person happens to be Jesus Christ.
- 32:03And that's what the second half of this broadcast is all about.
- 32:07Spiritual in nature.
- 32:09I look at a spiritual perspective from the Judeo-Christian values in which this nation was founded upon.
- 32:16I take a look at those things.
- 32:18Now I don't scream Bible scriptures at you.
- 32:20I don't brow you with theology.
- 32:23I'm not like that.
- 32:24I'm not a preacher, not a minister.
- 32:27I'm not even a member of the clergy.
- 32:29I'm just like most of you who are listening to this broadcast.
- 32:33I'm a person who did the best I could and continue to do the best I could in life to succeed, to progress towards my goals, towards my desires, towards my dreams.
- 32:44But I learned in life, and I'm still learning that life without Christ is no life at all.
- 32:52And unless you know Christ now, you have no idea what I'm talking about.
- 32:56That's right.
- 32:57It's like a person who has a dog, let's say a dog or any pet for that matter.
- 33:01You have this pet your whole life, and all of a sudden that pet grows old and that pet passes on.
- 33:09You grieve, you cry, you get upset.
- 33:13Like I have during the course of my life when I've had pets and they've had to go to heaven.
- 33:18People look at you and say, Well, that's just a pet.
- 33:21What do you mean that's just a pet?
- 33:23That's a family member.
- 33:25And I liken that unto a relationship with Christ, believe it or not.
- 33:29Just hear me out a minute.
- 33:31If you never had a pet, you have no idea what it is to lose a pet.
- 33:37You have no idea what we mean that our pets are family members.
- 33:43If you never had Christ in your life, you have no idea what you're missing.
- 33:48Just like if you never had a pet, you don't know what you're missing.
- 33:52So this is why I commit the second half of each and every one of my broadcasts to thinking about having a personal relationship with God.
- 34:03A friendship with Christ.
- 34:05Christ is God.
- 34:06Okay, make no mistake about that.
- 34:09I could go into a long discussion about that.
- 34:12People will say, you know what?
- 34:14Christ is not God.
- 34:15He's not this, he's not that.
- 34:16But I take this from a perspective that Christ is God, period.
- 34:22Now, if you don't believe that, don't run away.
- 34:24Just stay tuned in, all right?
- 34:26Because certain things I may say may have impact on your life.
- 34:30In other words, a seed may be planted.
- 34:32What do you think of that?
- 34:34A seed may be planted in your life.
- 34:38And could turn your life around like a turn my life around and countless millions of people of lives around.
- 34:44When somebody took the time, whether it be on radio, TV, or in person, or by reading a book, somebody took the time.
- 34:52And no doubt my mind, most of you know that your grandma or your grandpa or your mother or your father took the time to pray for you.
- 35:01So, folks, every broadcast that I have, I dedicate this period of time of the broadcast to God Almighty.
- 35:01So, folks, every broadcast that I have, I dedicate this period of time of the broadcast to God Almighty.
- 35:10And I take everything that I've read about in the Bible, look at it, examine it, study it, and I try to address all kinds of issues with regard to the lives we live and the fact that without Christ, the issues that we're addressing.
- 35:10And I take everything that I've read about in the Bible, look at it, examine it, study it, and I try to address all kinds of issues with regard to the lives we live and the fact that without Christ, the issues that we're addressing are very temporary.
- 35:31Something to think about.
- 35:33This world is temporary.
- 35:35A relationship with Christ is not.
- 35:38Heaven and earth, the Bible says, shall pass away, but the word of God will stand forever.
- 35:45So I would venture to say that new listeners may be scratching their heads thinking, boy, what's this all about?
- 35:52Well, you're probably saying, we just heard the first part of this broadcast, and boy, that was pretty interesting and dynamic, and you know, really, really neat stuff.
- 36:00And now you're talking about the Bible?
- 36:04You're talking about God?
- 36:06That's right.
- 36:07Stick around and listen.
- 36:09Because, like I just shared with you, what I'm about to share, may have profound impact on your life.
- 36:15I mean, look at do you have anything to lose?
- 36:17Think about it.
- 36:19You're going through hell, aren't you?
- 36:21Some of you are.
- 36:22Some of you going through some real tough times.
- 36:25Divorce, separation, kids giving you problems, losing your job.
- 36:30The economy's hurting everybody, and I gotta be hurting most of you out there.
- 36:34Certainly hurting me.
- 36:35I'm a regular person like you.
- 36:37Just because I'm on the radio and TV and I do this and that, that doesn't mean I'm any different than you.
- 36:42I am like you, just like you.
- 36:47All right.
- 36:48Now, if you're doing a lot of bad things, I'm not like you.
- 36:50Okay, let's get that.
- 36:52Let's get that straight.
- 36:53But the Bible does say we're all sinners.
- 36:56We're all fall short the glory of God.
- 36:58But you get my point, all right?
- 36:59You get my point.
- 37:01We're just a bunch of middle income people getting together, doing what God wants us to do.
- 37:08And you could do that too.
- 37:09You could do what God wants you to do.
- 37:10Hey, look, you may not be doing what God wants you to do right now.
- 37:13That doesn't mean he loves you any less.
- 37:16That doesn't mean he's not going to open his arms to you.
- 37:20Hey, you know what?
- 37:21Whether you know it or not, the Bible said he came to this earth.
- 37:25Jesus came to this earth for us.
- 37:27He didn't come for those who are powerful who are rich who don't believe in him.
- 37:33Now that doesn't mean if you're powerful and rich, that Christ doesn't love you.
- 37:37He loves you too.
- 37:39But if you notice, I've noticed throughout the whole Bible.
- 37:44He reached way down deep, the bottom of the barrel.
- 37:47Look at them 12 guys he picked out to be disciples.
- 37:49Whew, man, I'll tell you, you talk about individuals that were a mess.
- 37:53All of them were.
- 37:56But he called them the 12 to spread the gospel throughout the world.
- 38:01And we still have that gospel today because they did what he said they should do.
- 38:06And he does that to me, and he did it to others, and he could do it to you.
- 38:10He may be doing that to you right now by you just sitting back, relaxing, and listening to what I have to say.
- 38:18Now I'll tell you this.
- 38:19During my lifetime, I pursued a lot of things in my quest to succeed, a heck of a lot of things.
- 38:25My fifth grade teacher actually called me a dreamer.
- 38:27Well, this guy does his dream.
- 38:29She would tell my parents at parent teacher conference.
- 38:31Your son's a dreamer.
- 38:32What are you dreaming about?
- 38:34Well, I dreamed that my life would be successful.
- 38:38I dreamed that one day I wanted to be an astronaut, wanted to be a pilot, wanted to do this, wanted to do that.
- 38:44And then as I grew older, those dreams changed to other areas of my life that I didn't even think about when I was younger.
- 38:53And then as he has even got older, I realized that those things that I dreamt about were actually a calling from God.
- 39:03God called me to do the things I'm doing in life now.
- 39:07And he may have called you right now to do the things you're doing.
- 39:10But the only way you're going to find out, you got to shake his hands, give him a hug, give him a kiss, let him know.
- 39:15Hey, Jesus, come on.
- 39:17Come on, let's get this, let's get this life together with you and let's talk.
- 39:21Yeah, that's the way I talk to God.
- 39:23You don't like it?
- 39:23You think you got to go through a script, you got to go to an altar, you got to go here, go there.
- 39:27No, no, no.
- 39:28The special place you got to go to is in your heart.
- 39:33That's where Jesus Christ presides.
- 39:36Please support your local churches, right?
- 39:39I look at, I'm not against church.
- 39:40Support your local churches, go worship, do those things.
- 39:44They're nice to do, they're good to do.
- 39:46And they do give you some some special time with the Lord.
- 39:51But I say, make it a practice every day of going to Christ, of just spending a few minutes with him.
- 40:00I take a couple hours, folks, a day, not, you know, two hours in one time period, maybe 15 minutes here, maybe a half hour there.
- 40:08I spend some solitude with God because that's the way I get close to him.
- 40:13I may read a scripture here and there, and I'll for the most part just take a cup of coffee and say, look at, let's have this talk.
- 40:21When I was aboard ship in the U.S.
- 40:23Navy, right?
- 40:24I would I would go out on a flight deck near a flight deck on a carrier and uh uh or or or towards the uh the bow of the ship, and and I just spent a little time with God.
- 40:36And I'd go into the mess hall, the officer's wardrobe.
- 40:40I'd sit, talk to him, have coffee.
- 40:42I would, folks.
- 40:44And uh I got news for you.
- 40:47I did get answers.
- 40:48And like I've said over and over again, don't think I'm crazy.
- 40:51No voice, no thunderous voice from the clouds from the sky, lightning, bolt of lightnings and earthquakes, nothing like that.
- 40:59I'm talking about the inner voice.
- 41:01You know, I've always told people, mankind and the devil, you know, they're loud.
- 41:07They're very loud.
- 41:08They scream, they they scream crazy stuff.
- 41:12Christ whispers.
- 41:14He whispers, he whispers to our hearts, and his whisper is louder than any noise we could get from hell, then any noise we could get from people who may mean well, but maybe are simply not achieving the goal that they achieve is to help us through tough times.
- 41:33Some of them do, most of them don't.
- 41:36But God always.
- 41:40So stick around and listen, all right.
- 41:43Uh and I gotta tell you, I pursued many things in my life to succeed.
- 41:49And like most people in this pursuit, I made a lot of mistakes, and I entered many, many difficult valleys.
- 41:57Oh boy, many valleys.
- 41:59Now, in those valleys, I met a lot of people, made a lot of friends who like me suffered dearly in our pursuit of success, because that's what we're all doing.
- 42:00In those valleys, I met a lot of people.
- 42:02Made a lot of friends who, like me, suffered dearly in our pursuit of success, because that's what we're all doing.
- 42:08We're trying to find success.
- 42:08We're trying to find success.
- 42:11And by the way, thinking about our success, what would it bring us?
- 42:11And by the way, thinking about our success, what would it bring us?
- 42:18At least we thought peace.
- 42:18At least we thought peace.
- 42:19What a success.
- 42:19What a success.
- 42:20Boy, I got money in the bank.
- 42:20Boy, I got money in the bank.
- 42:22I'm successful.
- 42:22I'm successful.
- 42:23Got a great job.
- 42:23Got a great job.
- 42:24I'm successful.
- 42:24I'm successful.
- 42:25Got to great this, gotta great that.
- 42:25Got a great this, got a great that, I'm successful.
- 42:27I'm successful.
- 42:28But the ultimate question is are you at peace?
- 42:28But the ultimate question is, are you at peace?
- 42:31Are you at peace?
- 42:33I've shared with you many times.
- 42:36I'm in the presence of a lot of wealthy people.
- 42:39Way out of my pay scale.
- 42:41Millionaires, billionaires.
- 42:43That's where my job takes me.
- 42:45A lot of lot of people that are in charge of major corporations, generals, admirals, around all of them, politicians, around all of them.
- 42:54Around the president, the vice president.
- 42:57But my point is this.
- 42:59None of that, none of that has brought me peace.
- 43:06Really?
- 43:06I'm not kidding, folks.
- 43:07And you know what I found also?
- 43:09None of that, who they are and where they are in their life has brought them peace.
- 43:16And I could tell just by having conversations with them.
- 43:19Some of the very wealthy people I've been around, they carry their iPads and two or three phones, and they're constantly on it, doing what?
- 43:27Minute by minute, not hour by hour, day by day.
- 43:29I'm talking about minute by minute checking the stock market, checking their investments.
- 43:34That is not a peaceful person.
- 43:36And yet they look for peace.
- 43:38And at times I will share with some of them, like I'm sharing with you, subscriptures in the Bible.
- 43:45Very few, very, very few, will let that sink in.
- 43:51They listen, they all listen.
- 43:52The question, let's put it this way, they all hear what I'm saying, but not too many of them are listening.
- 43:59Because when the subject of God comes up, whoo, they don't want to hear.
- 44:04And that's that.
- 44:04I don't push this stuff on anybody.
- 44:07I hope and pray that you're not one of them who is hearing me but not listening.
- 44:12Please stick around, like I said, and listen.
- 44:16So I meet all these people who suffer dearly, like we all do, but they don't want you to think that they do, but they do.
- 44:24They thought that their wealthiness, their material wealth would bring them peace.
- 44:30It doesn't.
- 44:31And after all, we all want peace, right?
- 44:33We all want money.
- 44:34We all want elevations at work.
- 44:36We all agree at times to take shortcuts that end up wow, that end up on longer roads to our goals.
- 44:44We end up in bigger trouble when we take shortcuts.
- 44:48Yeah, I could tell you, remember Frank Sinatra, he sang that famous song, I did it my way, only to find out that quote unquote, my way was not the best way for me to travel.
- 45:01A man once said to me, God's way.
- 45:05The safe way, the best way, the only way.
- 45:09So let me be clear.
- 45:10God wants us to succeed, he wants you to succeed.
- 45:13He wants you to prosper.
- 45:15He wants your dreams to come true.
- 45:17But in the pursuit of these things, he does not want you or me to leave him behind.
- 45:23And we do that a lot.
- 45:26Even I do at times.
- 45:27Oh, I'll tell you, I'm not perfect.
- 45:29I'm close to him, he's my buddy.
- 45:31We talk each day, and you know, I just love talking about Christ to people who receive the word.
- 45:38Uh I go out, I'm very successful in what I do, not because of me.
- 45:42I'll tell you, every I tell everybody, they'll praise me, pat me on the back.
- 45:46Oh, gee, I saw you on TV, gee, you know, your Navy career is this, your police career is that.
- 45:51And I always say, just keep in mind it wasn't just me.
- 45:54There was somebody else involved.
- 45:55Oh, I know you have a great mother and dad and this and that.
- 45:58I said, Yeah, they were involved, but I'm not talking about them.
- 46:01I'm talking about Christ.
- 46:03And then they look at me.
- 46:06Most of them, they heard it, but they didn't listen.
- 46:10They just were very nice and said, gee, that's nice.
- 46:13And then there were just a very few that would say, Really?
- 46:18I said, Yep.
- 46:19And they said, What about God?
- 46:21And after that question is asked, that ends up to become uh a 30-minute to 40-minute discussion because they want to hear more.
- 46:29See, there's truth to the Bible that says many have a hunger and thirst for the word of God.
- 46:36Yep.
- 46:37You eat his food, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ, you'll never go hungry, and you drink the living water, which is again the word of God through Jesus Christ, you'll never go thirsty.
- 46:48That's what's happened to me.
- 46:49I train I transitioned from always being hungry and thirsty for success and peace to no longer being hungry and thirsty for anything, but more and more of God, more and more of Jesus Christ, and yeah, more and more of what I could pray for and receive.
- 47:06And some of those answers are no.
- 47:10Oh Lord, I want this.
- 47:11Oh no, you're not getting that.
- 47:12Yeah, but no, no, no, you're not getting that.
- 47:15And you know what?
- 47:16When I don't get an answer to my prayer, I get a better thing.
- 47:20Yeah, it works.
- 47:22It works, folks.
- 47:24So uh let me be clear again, folks, that he wants you to succeed, he wants me to succeed, but he doesn't want to be left behind.
- 47:35So what I say is this, folks.
- 47:38When is the last time you picked up a Bible or a book about Christ and His message to all of us?
- 47:48His message to you.
- 47:50Can you point to any book that's lasted longer than the Bible?
- 47:54Any book that's been printed on reprinted on the face of the earth that's lasted longer than the Bible.
- 48:02We're talking thousands of years here, still the best seller.
- 48:05When is the last time you had a conversation with God?
- 48:08How about talking about a scripted prayer?
- 48:10But I'm talking one-on-one, face-to-face, heart-to-heart conversation with God.
- 48:15Never.
- 48:16Hmm.
- 48:18He's our father in heaven.
- 48:20You got a kid out there, you got a son or daughter.
- 48:23What if they didn't talk to you for a couple of years?
- 48:26Hmm.
- 48:27What do you think of that?
- 48:28You see, it hits home when we start to think about it.
- 48:31Am I condemning you?
- 48:32No, because I was just like you.
- 48:35Yep.
- 48:36Nobody is in any position to condemn anybody else, especially me.
- 48:40The life I lived in the past, you know, I wasn't a bad, bad, super bad person.
- 48:46I don't I don't want you to believe that, but let's put it this way.
- 48:49I was displeasing to the Lord.
- 48:52Yeah, I was.
- 48:55Then I woke up, and a light shined on me, not a literal light, but I'm talking about that light in my heart, soul, and spirit.
- 49:00That light in my heart, soul, and spirit.
- 49:02I was introduced to Jesus Christ and said, Well, what a difference.
- 49:02I was introduced to Jesus Christ and said, Well, what a difference.
- 49:06Anyway, you know, those times led me to the 37th Psalm, verse 23.
- 49:06Anyway, you know, those times led me to the 37th Psalm, verse 23.
- 49:12The steps of a good man, and we could also see these days, the steps of a good woman as well as a man are ordered by God, and he delighteth in his way.
- 49:12The steps of a good man, and we could also see these days, the steps of a good woman as well as a man are ordered by God, and he delighteth in his way.
- 49:23Every step we take are ordered by God.
- 49:23Every step we take are ordered by God.
- 49:27And I would venture to say some of the steps that we take that are.
- 49:27And I would venture to say some of the steps that we take that are not good for us are allowed by God.
- 49:33He doesn't order us to go down the road to commit sin.
- 49:37But his ordered steps are to go in the way of righteousness, in the way of his will to prosper us.
- 49:45But no, we have to fight him.
- 49:46We have to say, nah, I'm not going down that road.
- 49:49I'm going to go down this road.
- 49:51And we end up in trouble.
- 49:53So in my pursuit of God, I learned that God doesn't just watch from a distance, folks.
- 49:58He's not hanging around heaven up there with the stars.
- 50:01He's right in your heart, soul, your spirit through the Holy Spirit.
- 50:04He's with you next to you.
- 50:06He guides people who follow him.
- 50:08If you don't follow him, he'll push you here, push you there.
- 50:12But you think he uh he hasn't even given up on guiding you, but he'll try to get you to go through that door.
- 50:18But for goodness sakes, we want to do things our way.
- 50:21Our will.
- 50:22It doesn't say my will be done.
- 50:26It says God's will be done.
- 50:28Hmm.
- 50:29Like I said, you got kids, stubborn, they want to do it their way.
- 50:32No, you're the father, you're the mother, you're the parent.
- 50:35They're going to do it your way, whether they like it or not.
- 50:37And somehow, some way they end up doing it your way.
- 50:40And believe me, God has a way of making sure you do it his way.
- 50:43Oh, yeah.
- 50:45That's right.
- 50:46You know what?
- 50:47He's shaping our decisions.
- 50:50And he's causing us to take steps that line up with his will.
- 50:55And you might be saying, yeah, but you know, his will is not my will.
- 50:58Of course not.
- 50:59Of course not.
- 51:00Our will has to be his will.
- 51:03Well, how do you find out his will?
- 51:04Have that conversation.
- 51:06Talk with him.
- 51:07He's God.
- 51:08You know what?
- 51:09And there's the seat, the key to success.
- 51:11I used to have this battle constantly.
- 51:13Oh, well, Lord, I want to do this and do that.
- 51:16And I hope it's your will.
- 51:18And I talk, pray, have these conversations.
- 51:21And then I start walking down a road that I thought was my will.
- 51:26And all of a sudden there was a detour.
- 51:28But I like that detour.
- 51:30So I am led to a detour, this road to another door in my life.
- 51:35And I get curious and I open it up and I said, Man, this is better than what I wanted.
- 51:40You see, that's how he operates.
- 51:42You don't hit us over ahead and say you're going to do what I tell you to do.
- 51:46He says, look at here's some other options.
- 51:49And through these conversations, through prayer with your friend Jesus Christ, you realize, hmm, there is something better.
- 51:59There's something better my boss can't give me.
- 52:01There's something better, money can't buy.
- 52:04There is something better for me in this life, other than the humdrum of living every day, going to work, coming home, and going through this and that, and this and that without peace.
- 52:14There's something better.
- 52:15And that better happens to be making friends with Jesus Christ.
- 52:23Yeah, he's a king, but he's also a friend.
- 52:27You know, he says in his word, I'll stick closer to you than a brother will stick close to you.
- 52:33I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.
- 52:36All Jesus wants is your friendship.
- 52:40I told you in past broadcasts, I used to have struggle with God.
- 52:44How can I repay you for what you've done for me?
- 52:47How can I do something in return for you?
- 52:50You know, I'll give to a church, or I'll do this or I'll do that.
- 52:53None of that satisfies God.
- 52:57Yes, it's great, it's wonderful.
- 52:58He loves you to do that.
- 52:59I'm not discouraging you from do that.
- 53:01That's fine.
- 53:02He wants us to be generous, wants us to help people.
- 53:05But what he really wants, he wants us to trust in him.
- 53:10He wants us to have faith in.
- 53:19And his will is for you and me to succeed.
- 53:23His will is to see your prayers answered and my prayers answered, and to trust and have faith in him.
- 53:29That he will provide what is best for us.
- 53:33That's right.
- 53:36He'll do that for people who are living to the best of their ability in line with his will, which boils down to recognize that we are sinners.
- 53:44You got to recognize that.
- 53:46You're a sinner, not evil.
- 53:48But you are a sinner, just like I am.
- 53:50Even now I'm a sinner.
- 53:51I know that.
- 53:53And Jesus Christ came to this earth.
- 53:55You recognize you're a sinner.
- 53:56You recognize and accept the fact that he came to this earth to forgive you of your sins, to forgive me of my sins, to forgive all of us our sins.
- 54:06And then we take it a step further and we repent.
- 54:10Lord forgive me.
- 54:11I don't understand this whole thing of being born again and saved.
- 54:15I've heard all these terms.
- 54:17I don't understand this, but I'll tell you what, I'm in a situation now where I can go nowhere.
- 54:22So I come to you.
- 54:24I'm a sinner.
- 54:26I believe you came to this earth and was crucified so that my sins may be forgiven, and I repent of those sins right now.
- 54:35And now, Lord, I commit myself to you.
- 54:38Jesus Christ is my Lord, my Savior, and my friend.
- 54:43And you know what?
- 54:44Once he's your friend, he will never leave you behind.
- 54:48Never.
- 54:49Now you do that.
- 54:51God's going to guide you and direct you all the days of your life to thick and thin.
- 54:55God not only oversees major lives in our events, but I'll tell you, every little small event that comes your way, every step you take, he will be with you.
- 55:03But you make sure you're with him.
- 55:06He will not leave you behind.
- 55:07You make sure you don't leave him behind.
- 55:11All right.
- 55:12He said, and this is very interesting.
- 55:15There's a psalm out there that emphasizes that when a person like you or me commit our ways to Jesus Christ, he will make their steps sure and guard them from ultimate failure.
- 55:28You're never going to fail again.
- 55:29You may have problems and difficulties, it'll rain, believe me, those storms will come, but you are peace through those storms and you will not fail.
- 55:36Even the righteous stumble, even the good guys stumble.
- 55:40We know that, right?
- 55:41But they will not be utterly cast down because the Lord Jesus Christ, your friend, will uphold you with his hand.
- 55:48Go look at Psalm 37, verse 24.
- 55:51So here's what I say.
- 55:53And I close with this.
- 55:55The Bible says the steps of a righteous man or woman are ordered by God.
- 55:59And that signifies God's active involvement in guiding you, protecting you, and delighting in your very life, because you have decided to become his friend and follow him.
- 56:00Signifies God's active involvement in guiding you, protecting you, and delighting in your very life because you have decided to become his friend and follow him.
- 56:10And he'll provide you with spiritual assurance and practical direction for living a godly life.
- 56:10And he'll provide you with spiritual assurance and practical direction for living a godly life, meaning nothing complicated, nothing super, but a one on one friendship with him.
- 56:18Meaning nothing complicated, nothing super, but a one-on-one friendship with him.
- 56:26Trusting, loving, faithful friendship with him.
- 56:26Trusting, loving, faithful friendship with him for the rest of your life.
- 56:31Because you will be that good man or woman who will be ordered by God to take this step and that step.
- 56:38And boy, will he delight in what you're doing and in the friendship he has in you.
- 56:46God bless you.
- 56:47God bless America.
