Friday, 15 May 2026 Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?” Matthew 19:27 “Then answering, Peter, he said to Him, ‘You behold! We, we left all, and we followed You! What hence it will be to us?’” (CG). In the previous verse, Jesus assured the disciples that even if salvation is impossible with men, with God, all things are possible. Next, Matthew records, “Then answering, Peter, he said to Him.” Peter’s zeal to speak up once again comes to the forefront. He was bold to speak, not always with careful thought behind his words…
