- Powerball Makes Transatlantic Millionaires! This is The Lottery Rundown for Tuesday September 1st Powerball drew Monday night with 11, 17, 25, 37 and 49, plus Powerball 10 and a 2X multiplier. Nobody hit the jackpot, but two lucky ticket holders—one in New York and one in the United Kingdom—each won 1 million dollars. All five white balls were odd. The even numbers left behind a suspiciously empty attendance sheet. Number 37 ranks among the five most-drawn white balls over the past six years, while 25 and 49 sit among the five least-drawn. Wednesday’s jackpot is 146 million dollars, with a cash value of 63 million 300 thousand dollars. The run is eight drawings and 19 days old, still shorter than usual, though Wednesday has delivered 21 of the last 46 jackpot wins. Would you trust Wednesday with that résumé? Pivoting to Mega Millions, the last draw was Friday, August 28, with 8, 17, 29, 42 and 55, plus Mega Ball 2. No jackpot winner emerged, while two thrilled ticket holders in Missouri and Tennessee each scored 3 million dollars. The 8 returned after 49 drawings away, ending the longest absence among Friday’s white balls. Tonight’s jackpot is 160 million dollars, with a cash value of 68 million 900 thousand dollars. That could buy a small castle devoted entirely to ceremonial cheese wheels. At nine drawings and 31 days, the jackpot run remains pretty normal.
