Revisit Our Chat with Aida Rodríguez
On this episode of Tamarindo we revisit our chat with comedian, writer, and actor Aida Rodriguez. We love Aida for many reasons, but her thoughts on colorism in the Latino community are particularly urgent to revisit given recent news in Los Angeles where Latino leaders were at the center of racist, backroom power brokering. This episode first aired in February. Stay tuned for new episodes coming your way soon!
Aida talks about the power of comedy in overcoming adversity while sharing her experience as an outspoken Afro-indigenous woman in a field that continues to be dominated by men.
