Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #320: Learn From Your Emotional Reactions
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody, Welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev Audi.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I'm looking at buttons. Well, I'm trying to I'm trying
- 0:08Speaker 1: to multitask. You know how that works. Anyway, Hi, Bev,
- 0:13Speaker 1: how's it going great? Just great?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Just great. It's a it's a new day good thing.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I can definitely share about a real trigger that just
- 0:28Speaker 1: happened yesterday.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Okay, talk about.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Two people lining up in vibrational frequency and triggering each other.
- 0:44Speaker 1: But the difference is I sat with it all day
- 0:49Speaker 1: because this happened like first thing in the morning at work,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and I sat with it all day, thought about it
- 0:59Speaker 1: last night, and it hit me this morning. It's like, Okay,
- 1:13Speaker 1: I am overloaded with work right now. We have three
- 1:16Speaker 1: events like one right after the other. Now, mind you,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I'm not like an event planner, but that's kind of
- 1:24Speaker 1: the position I hold. So managing three events at one
- 1:30Speaker 1: time is very trying on your nerves, I will say that,
- 1:34Speaker 1: and it gives you definitely gives you an opportunity to
- 1:39Speaker 1: learn to manage your stress level. A big plus is
- 1:45Speaker 1: that you are very organized. You could you know, you
- 1:48Speaker 1: have to be super organized to be an event planner.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So anyway, just putting all that out there with all
- 1:57Speaker 1: the weight and personal life stuff that's happening. Nothing too exhausting,
- 2:04Speaker 1: but there's enough that you know, it's compounding the feeling
- 2:08Speaker 1: of the stress level I had. So when we're recording
- 2:18Speaker 1: this on a Wednesday, the conversation happened on Tuesday morning.
- 2:24Speaker 1: So on Monday, with this one event, I made a
- 2:28Speaker 1: suggestion to my boss and she's like kind of thinking
- 2:32Speaker 1: about it, and she's like, okay. But it wasn't like
- 2:34Speaker 1: a strong okay, like yeah, that sounds great. It was
- 2:37Speaker 1: just like a okay, And I'm kind of in a
- 2:42Speaker 1: almost like a panic mood about this event and a
- 2:47Speaker 1: certain piece of it. So I started the process. So
- 2:58Speaker 1: really what I had in did was time. I hadn't
- 3:01Speaker 1: reached out to anybody yet. But my time and time
- 3:04Speaker 1: right now is very valuable in the sense of I
- 3:07Speaker 1: have all these three events that I'm I need to
- 3:10Speaker 1: manage my time with. So this person that I was
- 3:18Speaker 1: vibrationally in alignment with that wasn't real healthy. She was
- 3:23Speaker 1: not there on Monday and she usually has very good input.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But my motive thinking at the time I made the
- 3:32Speaker 1: suggestion my boss and I decide yes, let's just do it.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I started the process. So this coworker comes in yesterday
- 3:41Speaker 1: and I and I told her what we had discussed
- 3:47Speaker 1: with what I had discussed with the boss. Now, let
- 3:50Speaker 1: me just tell you that the co worker just so
- 3:54Speaker 1: had been going through an immense stress immensely stressful experience
- 4:01Speaker 1: with a friend who she's known for several years. And
- 4:05Speaker 1: she's been going through this very stressful experience for like
- 4:10Speaker 1: a week. And it was over the weekend that some
- 4:14Speaker 1: other things came to light, like she just tapped out
- 4:19Speaker 1: mentally and emotionally over this friend. So anyway, I said,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you know, I shared what the boss and I had
- 4:27Speaker 1: talked about and what the process I had started, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: she just looked at me and she goes, why would
- 4:36Speaker 1: you do that, and proceeded. Now, it wasn't what she said,
- 4:45Speaker 1: it was how she said it. And in my process. Now, mind,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I had already told you told her I was.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I was.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I was in spin mode because of everything that's going on,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and I'm trying to manage it and all the things.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And it's not just the events. You have to figure
- 5:02Speaker 1: we have people coming in through the doors that need assistant.
- 5:06Speaker 1: People asked me all day for about questions. You know,
- 5:09Speaker 1: It's just it's a lot of stuff. I was trying
- 5:13Speaker 1: to give you a bigger picture of what all is
- 5:15Speaker 1: entailed in a day. So anyway, she said that and
- 5:22Speaker 1: said a little bit more in explanation, and I looked
- 5:28Speaker 1: at her and I said, okay, fine, and I took
- 5:34Speaker 1: my piece of paper that I had had that I
- 5:38Speaker 1: had started the process of contacts, and I took it
- 5:41Speaker 1: and I ripped it and I threw it away and
- 5:44Speaker 1: I said, fine, it's done now. I didn't do it
- 5:49Speaker 1: in a very nice manner. She and that it triggered
- 5:55Speaker 1: her and she got very upset, started crying, walked out,
- 6:03Speaker 1: said some words. And I just sat there and I
- 6:05Speaker 1: was like, huh. And it wasn't that I was mad
- 6:10Speaker 1: at her, and I knew I wasn't mad at her,
- 6:13Speaker 1: but I knew I was upset about something, but I
- 6:14Speaker 1: didn't know what it was. So this is where all
- 6:16Speaker 1: the processing comes in. Bottom line is I am still learning,
- 6:25Speaker 1: Like I have a lot of information and knowledge in
- 6:28Speaker 1: me and wisdom about a lot of things until it
- 6:32Speaker 1: comes to financial dynamics, which I'm still learning, still growing
- 6:37Speaker 1: at the edge, still at my age, like I'm still
- 6:39Speaker 1: learning these things right and at what she said to
- 6:43Speaker 1: me had to do with financial matters with the event.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So my process was the way she said it immediately
- 6:59Speaker 1: made me like I was dumb, like I was an idiot,
- 7:05Speaker 1: like I because she's just like, well, why would you?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Why would you do that? And I was it was
- 7:12Speaker 1: just like just dropped in. Now for audience purposes, you
- 7:17Speaker 1: need to understand, is that is not an immediate thought.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh I'm an idiot. That is not the forethought thought.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It was. It was more of a frustration that I
- 7:28Speaker 1: started the process that that her tone in the way
- 7:33Speaker 1: she said it like there was just other things that
- 7:36Speaker 1: it creates a trigger. And this is why I had
- 7:39Speaker 1: to process it was because I didn't understand why I
- 7:43Speaker 1: reacted in the way I did. So sitting with it,
- 7:48Speaker 1: these were the things that I came up with, was
- 7:51Speaker 1: it made me feel like I wasn't smart, that I
- 7:56Speaker 1: was dumb when it came to this, these things and
- 8:01Speaker 1: the frustration level of the fact that I had wasted
- 8:04Speaker 1: time in doing something that really wish I shouldn't have done,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and to begin with, because financially it didn't make sense.
- 8:14Speaker 1: And of course I was upset as well because I
- 8:19Speaker 1: upset her because that was not my intention. So it's
- 8:25Speaker 1: just these things that I had to sit with to
- 8:28Speaker 1: realize that my little girl was wounded in the fact
- 8:30Speaker 1: that I felt dumb in that moment, but the fact
- 8:38Speaker 1: is now right we're on the other side of it. Well,
- 8:43Speaker 1: one of the things, and I shared this with her,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I said, listen, I just needed, as you know, what
- 8:47Speaker 1: I had to process through this conversation because I know
- 8:51Speaker 1: it triggered you. But this isn't that was not my
- 8:55Speaker 1: intent because of the way I reacted. It was because
- 8:59Speaker 1: of what was happening being inside of me that created
- 9:02Speaker 1: my reaction. And I explained it to her, and so
- 9:05Speaker 1: she has looked at me and she's like, you're like
- 9:08Speaker 1: one of the smartest people working here, and I said,
- 9:15Speaker 1: thank you. I appreciate that, but that's not what I
- 9:23Speaker 1: felt in that conversation, and that triggered me.
- 9:28Speaker 2: So anyway, her.
- 9:33Speaker 1: My stress level, her mental and emotional exhaustion, we lined
- 9:38Speaker 1: up for each other and boy, we just sucker punched
- 9:41Speaker 1: each other. And I didn't say this to her and
- 9:48Speaker 1: I and I and probably anybody listening this might think
- 9:52Speaker 1: this is isn't very nice. But I also thought it
- 9:58Speaker 1: was probably good that I did trigger her because she
- 10:01Speaker 1: was able to cry and release some more of that
- 10:03Speaker 1: stressful energy. And I know what that feels like. So
- 10:09Speaker 1: you know, you just get pushed that edge where you
- 10:11Speaker 1: just need to have a release, and you never know
- 10:13Speaker 1: what that that trigger is going to be. I've been
- 10:16Speaker 1: on that receiving end, and I know what that feels like,
- 10:18Speaker 1: and I also know the ones I have that opportunity
- 10:21Speaker 1: to cry like it's such a relief to let that out.
- 10:25Speaker 1: So anyway, that's been my experience very recently that I
- 10:30Speaker 1: got to process and oh boy, was it not fun.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Have a huge opportunity for growth on both sides, for sure.
- 10:40Speaker 3: That's what's so valuable about triggers, and especially when you
- 10:46Speaker 3: have the opportunity to speak with the other person to
- 10:49Speaker 3: be able to work things through because not you got
- 10:52Speaker 3: to plan a lot of seats just by your process
- 10:56Speaker 3: and so everything was intended to be exactly what was
- 10:59Speaker 3: intended to be, but to still be friends afterwards.
- 11:01Speaker 2: And that's what people should.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Recognize or could recognize that it's an opportunity because people
- 11:07Speaker 3: are going to people are closest to us that we
- 11:10Speaker 3: work with, that are in our home and everything else.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Are going to be the people that trigger us. And
- 11:14Speaker 3: we can be triggered and be like if you I'm out,
- 11:17Speaker 3: pack your shit, leave the office, leave the home, do
- 11:20Speaker 3: all those things. But that's that's running away from the messenger,
- 11:24Speaker 3: because all all that moment was was an opportunity for
- 11:28Speaker 3: you to be able to have this release yourself, no
- 11:32Speaker 3: longer holding it. My mind just saw like a box
- 11:35Speaker 3: open up, the flaps opened up, and this just was
- 11:38Speaker 3: able to come out right now, and it came out
- 11:40Speaker 3: with her and the and to be able to be
- 11:43Speaker 3: friends and be able to have the conversation afterwards, which
- 11:46Speaker 3: solidifies it. And then whoever was an earshot or whoever
- 11:51Speaker 3: has the experience, or even if she went back and
- 11:53Speaker 3: was like, well this is bullshit, and you know, whatever happened,
- 11:55Speaker 3: and this happened at the office, she's gonna gains so
- 11:58Speaker 3: much new perspectives.
- 12:00Speaker 2: And like you said, it was an outlet.
- 12:02Speaker 3: It had to happen that way, which is such a
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's good for me to recognize this as I'm saying
- 12:08Speaker 3: this to you, because we don't always probably never recognize
- 12:13Speaker 3: in that very moment that we could you know, this
- 12:16Speaker 3: is this person's triggering me, and we want to put
- 12:19Speaker 3: blame on somebody else because we want to blame them
- 12:22Speaker 3: for the way we're that we're feeling.
- 12:24Speaker 2: But that's not the truth.
- 12:26Speaker 3: The truth is, just like you said, you stop and
- 12:29Speaker 3: examined it and noticed that your inner child was having
- 12:32Speaker 3: struggled with these things.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Why by doing this.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Work means you don't have to carry this shit with
- 12:37Speaker 3: you for the next time, the next time it comes up,
- 12:40Speaker 3: or it shows up, or you know whatever, however the
- 12:43Speaker 3: experience is, it's going to be for the greatest good
- 12:45Speaker 3: of all. Only good will come from this. Only good
- 12:48Speaker 3: will come from this. That's a good thing to remember.
- 12:51Speaker 1: That's what I told her at the very beginning of
- 12:53Speaker 1: the conversation. I said, listen, I did not take the
- 13:00Speaker 1: opportunity to be grateful that you made a statement or
- 13:05Speaker 1: asked a question that made sense and saved me from
- 13:12Speaker 1: making a bunch of phone calls or sending emails and
- 13:16Speaker 1: all those things I said. I didn't do that. I
- 13:20Speaker 1: immediately went into the I'm an idiot, which equates to
- 13:29Speaker 1: the I'm not good enough story. I didn't tell her
- 13:31Speaker 1: that part, but it was I'm an idiot, I'm dumb
- 13:33Speaker 1: when it comes to this stuff. I'm dumb. I'm not
- 13:36Speaker 1: smart enough about this. You know. I shouldn't even open
- 13:40Speaker 1: my mouth, like all these things were processing in me.
- 13:44Speaker 1: But I did say. You know, I could have been
- 13:48Speaker 1: grateful that you said that before I got entailed in
- 13:52Speaker 1: all these other steps, but I didn't and it. And
- 13:58Speaker 1: to your point, it would have been very easy, very
- 14:02Speaker 1: easy for me to blame her for me getting upset.
- 14:07Speaker 1: But I didn't do that either. Now in the past,
- 14:09Speaker 1: these are these This would have been my moo in
- 14:12Speaker 1: the past, the silent treatment, because that's control, right, I'm
- 14:18Speaker 1: going to control the situation. I'm not going to talk
- 14:19Speaker 1: to her. And it went on for days, weeks or months,
- 14:23Speaker 1: like it would not have been a day. It would
- 14:25Speaker 1: have been days, weeks, or months. I would have retracted.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So I would have pulled back because now I don't
- 14:34Speaker 1: feel safe you. You upset me, and now I'm not
- 14:41Speaker 1: safe around you. So now the wall goes up and
- 14:44Speaker 1: I pull back, and that friendship that we have developed,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you have to earn my trust again. Right now, think
- 14:54Speaker 1: about all the things I'm saying. I'm pointing the finger outward,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I am not looking inward, and it's because you did this.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Now you need to get my trust again, because you
- 15:03Speaker 1: hurt me and I am not safe with you. So
- 15:06Speaker 1: and any conversations we would have had moving forward would
- 15:10Speaker 1: have been short to the point no lacksadaisical fun interaction.
- 15:17Speaker 1: It would have been if she would ask me a question,
- 15:19Speaker 1: it would have been straight as a point done. I'm
- 15:21Speaker 1: going back to my art like no give none, and
- 15:28Speaker 1: that's the way I used to operate. So for me
- 15:31Speaker 1: to take the time to do that internal reflection, have
- 15:38Speaker 1: that conversation with spirit, with my spirit, with all being
- 15:43Speaker 1: God source, whoever right, and allowing that information to come
- 15:49Speaker 1: and opening myself up to this process of healing myself
- 15:53Speaker 1: to be to be more understanding about me, and then
- 15:59Speaker 1: to actually have a conversation with somebody is nowhere near
- 16:06Speaker 1: where I was earlier in my years. That wouldn't have
- 16:11Speaker 1: even been an option, not even an option. In fact,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I would have thought about finding a new job, possibly
- 16:18Speaker 1: because I could not work with this person anymore, like
- 16:20Speaker 1: did go that far so from where I was again,
- 16:27Speaker 1: always comparing myself to me where I was to where
- 16:30Speaker 1: I am, and that I was able to use my
- 16:33Speaker 1: voice to have that conversation and not blame her, but
- 16:37Speaker 1: say this is the way I have processed this for myself,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and this is what my understanding of why I reacted
- 16:46Speaker 1: the way I did with you, and the option to
- 16:49Speaker 1: that was just be grateful that you made the suggestion
- 16:54Speaker 1: and I didn't go through this entire process and cost
- 16:57Speaker 1: us money and waste your time and wasted my time.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and recognizing there was no wasting time there, I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 3: there wasn't.
- 17:07Speaker 2: It was all the whole thing. Sounds pretty amazing.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I know it doesn't feel like it when you're going
- 17:14Speaker 3: through that kind of stuff, because I've experienced a lot
- 17:16Speaker 3: of that stuff, and so I understand and I understand
- 17:19Speaker 3: everything that you just said because that's how I process
- 17:22Speaker 3: things forever. We even had a conversation last night about
- 17:27Speaker 3: kind of along those lines. You know, I used to
- 17:29Speaker 3: get mad and I wouldn't and I never even knew
- 17:33Speaker 3: that it was a control thing, But there I would be.
- 17:35Speaker 3: That would be the end of it. I wouldn't have
- 17:37Speaker 3: a conversation, I wouldn't talk. But I've learned by doing that,
- 17:41Speaker 3: especially at home and in a relationship. If I'm doing that,
- 17:44Speaker 3: I'm shutting the other person out. I'm not allowing them in,
- 17:48Speaker 3: And so to me, that's uncomfortable, it doesn't feel right.
- 17:51Speaker 3: So I might get quiet because I'll process things or
- 17:54Speaker 3: try to figure a way.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Through it.
- 17:58Speaker 3: That makes sense to me, figure out the best outlet
- 18:01Speaker 3: for me, figure out the best way to process this.
- 18:03Speaker 2: But it's it's a pretty pretty grown up miss amy
- 18:09Speaker 2: to be able to be so say that I'm sorry,
- 18:14Speaker 2: you're not you're not for anymore grown up?
- 18:19Speaker 4: Well yeah, grown up kid style, You're like, you're not
- 18:25Speaker 4: for anymore, Like, oh girl, that's.
- 18:30Speaker 3: True, although four was an awesome age. But the thing is,
- 18:34Speaker 3: there's there's a whole lot of stuff that goes with that.
- 18:36Speaker 3: What she goes along with what I would say that
- 18:38Speaker 3: I've been processing the last three days.
- 18:40Speaker 2: This is my third day that I've been working with
- 18:43Speaker 2: this is that my guide is it.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I've had a lot of experiences with some I don't
- 18:51Speaker 3: know ascended masters.
- 18:52Speaker 2: We'll just call them a sended masters.
- 18:53Speaker 3: And so I've been having some different feelings and things
- 18:56Speaker 3: are coming to my mind and I keep asking my
- 18:57Speaker 3: energy to be cleansed with their inner do you like
- 19:00Speaker 3: to fill these things? And one of the things was
- 19:03Speaker 3: the monkey minds. Right, we've talked about monkey mind We've
- 19:06Speaker 3: talked about it here, it's in books. Has talks about
- 19:09Speaker 3: all this stuff, and my whole thing is, don't feed
- 19:11Speaker 3: the monkeys, I wrote on my maror a few days ago,
- 19:15Speaker 3: and the monkeys.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I The more that I bear witness to.
- 19:20Speaker 3: My internal workings, my internal thoughts, my processes, it's been
- 19:28Speaker 3: very liberating, very liberating, because I'm noticing, like, all of
- 19:32Speaker 3: a sudden, i might notice a pattern. Let's say I'm
- 19:34Speaker 3: driving down the road and all of a sudden I
- 19:36Speaker 3: see something and I'm like, oh, he's going to do
- 19:38Speaker 3: this or whatever, because I'm seeing a pattern, and I'll
- 19:40Speaker 3: get this filling inside my body almost immediately afterwards. And
- 19:43Speaker 3: sometimes it seems like, well it is that way, But
- 19:46Speaker 3: when I slow it down, I can almost think did
- 19:49Speaker 3: it was I thinking that first? No, I'm having an
- 19:52Speaker 3: amount of automatical reaction that took me into a certain
- 19:55Speaker 3: energy space. Now I'm feeling whatever this energy is, and
- 19:59Speaker 3: now anything that to it, Like all I can see
- 20:01Speaker 3: right now is one of those big old magnets, and
- 20:03Speaker 3: everything's like sucks right to it, everything that matches that
- 20:06Speaker 3: frequency in that moment, and it's like it's so.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Easy to lose control. It's so easy to But the
- 20:13Speaker 2: more that like I said, this is my third day.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I'm paying attention.
- 20:16Speaker 3: So I'm being I'm noticing when this stuff pops up,
- 20:18Speaker 3: and I'm reminding myself that's a thought, that's victim mode,
- 20:22Speaker 3: that's whatever it is that I'm noticing it, and I'm
- 20:24Speaker 3: and I'm like stepping back and taking a breath.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Oh I noticed that.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Okay, stepping back and taking a breath and just noticing it.
- 20:31Speaker 3: This is this is monkey mine, this is these are programs.
- 20:35Speaker 3: This is an old pattern that keeps recycling that I've
- 20:38Speaker 3: allowed to let run with my permission. And it's uncomfortable.
- 20:44Speaker 3: It doesn't feel good, which which is fun. But then
- 20:48Speaker 3: I go back to the whole process. You didn't sit
- 20:51Speaker 3: and beat yourself up because of your decisions, because you
- 20:53Speaker 3: could have beat yourself up because of the decision for
- 20:56Speaker 3: you to say that, for you to I mean to
- 20:58Speaker 3: go you know a lot of us like to go
- 21:00Speaker 3: down the whole story again, like, well, shit, if I
- 21:02Speaker 3: didn't do this this and then look at all this time,
- 21:04Speaker 3: all these things that beat yourself up. No, you stopped
- 21:07Speaker 3: and looked at it and figured it out. Why is
- 21:10Speaker 3: this triggering me? What's going on withinside of me? What
- 21:13Speaker 3: is this about and then you moved through it and
- 21:18Speaker 3: it may have been the day and a half or
- 21:20Speaker 3: the day, you know, during the night and the off
- 21:23Speaker 3: ha came this morning. That's fast, that's fast, and it's free.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah, because in the past, the monkey mind, the mind
- 21:32Speaker 1: that says, right, you're not good enough, you shouldn't be here,
- 21:36Speaker 1: you shouldn't even be having this job. Why do you
- 21:38Speaker 1: think you should have this job? It takes a lot
- 21:42Speaker 1: of financial information that you need to know and you
- 21:47Speaker 1: don't have it. Like and then it would have just
- 21:50Speaker 1: taken me back to well, look at your finances. Look,
- 21:53Speaker 1: you've never been good with money, and you could never
- 21:56Speaker 1: have the things that you wanted because you can't. Right,
- 21:58Speaker 1: we just go down that rabbit hole and then look
- 22:01Speaker 1: at all these things that that uh prove that you're
- 22:06Speaker 1: not good with money, and we just keep going and
- 22:10Speaker 1: go like those are just a few, but our thoughts
- 22:14Speaker 1: go so fast and we don't pay attention to them
- 22:17Speaker 1: that they will they just eat us alive, like they
- 22:20Speaker 1: just consume us. And as that comes up, now you
- 22:24Speaker 1: have now you have non frustration and irritation that you
- 22:28Speaker 1: get angry and you feel guilty and you feel shame,
- 22:31Speaker 1: not from the experience that just happened, but all the
- 22:35Speaker 1: things that happen in your in this lifetime, like you
- 22:38Speaker 1: just add them all up and you're like, yep, completely
- 22:41Speaker 1: and totally validated that I am a piece of shit
- 22:46Speaker 1: and why am I on this planet? So then I
- 22:47Speaker 1: go down that rabbit hole. Why am I even alive?
- 22:49Speaker 1: Why am I breathing? Why people would be better off
- 22:52Speaker 1: without me? Because I'm suck it finance, Like it's just
- 22:56Speaker 1: a thing.
- 22:58Speaker 3: It's a magnet. It's a big, huge magnet. You had
- 23:02Speaker 3: into that space and it could suck all the stuff
- 23:04Speaker 3: right to you in that moment.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And guess what, It's all untrue, all of it.
- 23:10Speaker 1: So I will say in this whole process, my mind
- 23:14Speaker 1: tried to go down those those paths. However, this happened
- 23:24Speaker 1: yesterday on Tuesday. On Saturday, this same person and I
- 23:29Speaker 1: sat together for three hours at an event, side by side,
- 23:33Speaker 1: having a great time, and my head was like wanting,
- 23:39Speaker 1: not overpowering like it used to because I've done so
- 23:41Speaker 1: much work on myself, but it wanted to try. It
- 23:46Speaker 1: gave it a good attempt to want to say, you know,
- 23:52Speaker 1: you're not safe and this person you just shouldn't even
- 23:55Speaker 1: be associated like it's it tried, like it tried to
- 23:58Speaker 1: inch its way in there, and I was just like, yeah,
- 24:00Speaker 1: but we just spent three hours together the other day,
- 24:03Speaker 1: like and we laughed and we had a great time.
- 24:08Speaker 1: And so it's like it was that it was almost
- 24:11Speaker 1: like that push pull, but the better side of me
- 24:16Speaker 1: was winning and and this these are things that the
- 24:22Speaker 1: guys we're going through a healing process, you're gonna have that.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You're gonna have that side, So you need to they
- 24:28Speaker 1: called the angel and devil, or the the good wolf
- 24:32Speaker 1: and the bad wolf, or you know, whatever analogy you
- 24:35Speaker 1: want to use. That there's gonna be a side of
- 24:37Speaker 1: you that is telling you you're great, you're good, you
- 24:41Speaker 1: deserve goodness and all the things. But then there's that
- 24:45Speaker 1: programming that you've been living with so for so many
- 24:47Speaker 1: years that is gonna say, yeah, but what about all
- 24:50Speaker 1: this other stuff that happened and prove that you are
- 24:53Speaker 1: not good enough? So it's it's learning to continuously well.
- 25:00Speaker 1: First of all, where I'm at now with myself is
- 25:04Speaker 1: I am curious about I was curious. I wasn't beating
- 25:09Speaker 1: myself up. I was curious why did I react the
- 25:12Speaker 1: way I did. That is curiosity. I am interested in
- 25:17Speaker 1: me and how I operate. And once I figure that
- 25:20Speaker 1: out and the whole, the whole thing that, Well, why
- 25:26Speaker 1: couldn't you have just been grateful for her saying that?
- 25:29Speaker 1: That hit me like like somebody like my angels throat
- 25:34Speaker 1: punched me, Like, yeah, why why didn't you? Why didn't
- 25:38Speaker 1: you say, oh my gosh, thank you so much for
- 25:39Speaker 1: sharing that. It makes so much sense And I'm so
- 25:42Speaker 1: glad I didn't proceed any further than I did. How
- 25:45Speaker 1: much better would the conversation have been if I would
- 25:47Speaker 1: have said that? And how you know how how good
- 25:49Speaker 1: that feels to say that out loud right now? It
- 25:52Speaker 1: just feels so like, where the fuck is your gratitude, sister, Like,
- 25:58Speaker 1: let's lean into that more than getting into I'm wasting
- 26:04Speaker 1: my time, I'm not good enough, I'm stupid when it
- 26:06Speaker 1: comes to finance and all the other things. This person
- 26:10Speaker 1: is your support and you want support, you want to
- 26:14Speaker 1: be supported, and she shows up to support you in
- 26:17Speaker 1: a different way, but you were not receptive. Hello.
- 26:23Speaker 3: That's something to touch on too, Not allowing yourself the
- 26:26Speaker 3: peace right, not allowing yourself to receive. It's funny to
- 26:31Speaker 3: sing all this stuff, and I wrote down focus on
- 26:33Speaker 3: the good in each moment, in each of the relationships,
- 26:35Speaker 3: because that's something I've been looking at too. It's we
- 26:38Speaker 3: all have gotten into a tendency and we've talked about
- 26:40Speaker 3: this numerous times of focusing on things that are not
- 26:43Speaker 3: the positive or the good stuff all day long. And
- 26:46Speaker 3: it's like, you want to reprogram, just start focusing on
- 26:49Speaker 3: the good stuff. Yeah, whether you only last for about
- 26:53Speaker 3: fifteen minutes or an hour or two hours or a day,
- 26:56Speaker 3: and then then you fall off for a few minutes
- 26:58Speaker 3: and then you jump right back on again, it doesn't
- 27:00Speaker 3: matter because you're gonna spend more time feeling.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Good, Yeah, for sure.
- 27:05Speaker 3: And you know what, you know what else, it's funny.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I mean it's not funny because I felt like shit
- 27:09Speaker 3: heard doing it. So we wouldn't be having this conversation
- 27:13Speaker 3: today because we were supposed to do the recording on Sunday,
- 27:16Speaker 3: but I lost I for some reason, thought it was
- 27:19Speaker 3: the next Sunday was his Father's day, so and.
- 27:21Speaker 2: I looked at it. I was like, the hell was
- 27:23Speaker 2: I thinking?
- 27:24Speaker 3: And I was busy running around doing stuff because I
- 27:26Speaker 3: had I had some people coming over and some friends
- 27:31Speaker 3: and you had sent me a message like at ten fifteen,
- 27:34Speaker 3: and I don't know.
- 27:34Speaker 2: What time I had finally seen it because I was
- 27:36Speaker 2: running around cleaning.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I was doing stuff around the house and I saw
- 27:39Speaker 3: that message and I was like, holy shit, is she sure?
- 27:43Speaker 3: Like I'm looking back in through the messages, and I
- 27:45Speaker 3: sent you the message, You're like, well, can move in
- 27:47Speaker 3: Tuesday or Wednesday?
- 27:48Speaker 2: Right that we could do it? And I kept kind of.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Thinking about it because then I was supposed to have
- 27:54Speaker 3: my granddaughter yesterday, and then I ended up not having
- 27:56Speaker 3: her and I end up doing other things. And I
- 27:59Speaker 3: even still thought about I think need the message, but
- 28:01Speaker 3: I didn't. And then it came to a certain point
- 28:03Speaker 3: I was like, no, we'll just do it tomorrow like
- 28:05Speaker 3: we've talked about, and we'll just leave it alone.
- 28:07Speaker 2: We don't need to throw any more curveballs at you.
- 28:09Speaker 2: And I didn't even know what was going on.
- 28:11Speaker 3: But the awesome thing is we got to have this
- 28:14Speaker 3: conversation today and it wouldn't have happened if we had
- 28:16Speaker 3: the conversation on Sunday. And it's like very free.
- 28:22Speaker 1: And I have to remind myself in moments like that
- 28:26Speaker 1: that there's there's a reason. There's a reason, and does
- 28:35Speaker 1: does some not necessarily with this experience, but in some
- 28:40Speaker 1: experiences when things don't go as planned as I think
- 28:47Speaker 1: they should, there's a little irritation like really, okay, here
- 28:53Speaker 1: we go and then I have to sit and again
- 28:58Speaker 1: this is that that positive negative side, you know, trying
- 29:03Speaker 1: to take over the conversation as like, no, there's a
- 29:08Speaker 1: reason why this is being rescheduled, and it is okay,
- 29:12Speaker 1: it's okay, and exactly what you said. Had we had
- 29:17Speaker 1: this conversation on Sunday, we wouldn't be recording for two
- 29:20Speaker 1: more weeks, and in two weeks, I don't know this
- 29:24Speaker 1: conversation would come up.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 1: So when it's super fresh, like I just experienced it,
- 29:31Speaker 1: it was super fresh, it's a lot easier to share
- 29:33Speaker 1: about it than waiting. So yeah, totally there. And that
- 29:37Speaker 1: is when I hit on that we are in this.
- 29:42Speaker 1: So you said three days ago your your thing with
- 29:45Speaker 1: the monkey mine.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I'm I'm on day three right now.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Well when you did it, a new moon was happening.
- 29:54Speaker 1: So the new happened on Sunday. Yeah, all the planets
- 29:58Speaker 1: being in the sky at one you know, So we'll
- 30:01Speaker 1: just blame it on planetary alignment in uh call it good.
- 30:10Speaker 3: And it's and it's also recognizing I do value your time.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Your time is important. Honestly it is. Everybody's time is
- 30:17Speaker 3: important for the because we live on a time schedule
- 30:21Speaker 3: here in the three D. So I mean there is
- 30:23Speaker 3: some value to it for us currently. And so I
- 30:28Speaker 3: certainly didn't mean, you know, I don't ever mean for
- 30:31Speaker 3: anything to be different. I just know that things always
- 30:34Speaker 3: work out specifically for a reason. There's it just seems
- 30:37Speaker 3: like it's always that way. I don't always understand it
- 30:39Speaker 3: in the beginning or in the you know, during it.
- 30:42Speaker 3: But and then I've got Freeman in the background. A
- 30:45Speaker 3: lot of times you'll be like, well, you know, it
- 30:46Speaker 3: probably saved you, just like we've talked about a million times.
- 30:49Speaker 3: It probably saved you from an accident when you were
- 30:51Speaker 3: driving to town, or this probably happened. We'll see that
- 30:53Speaker 3: you got that message and you never even made to town.
- 30:55Speaker 2: How awesome is that?
- 30:56Speaker 3: You know, just things there's always some reason that things
- 30:59Speaker 3: work out the way that they work out.
- 31:01Speaker 1: And there's no way I would have been in a
- 31:02Speaker 1: good frame of mind last night to even do I
- 31:05Speaker 1: would have been like, hmm, I'm.
- 31:15Speaker 2: No, it really is a divine It's really a divine timing.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Thing, yep. And we try to control that. To you,
- 31:21Speaker 1: it's a whole other conversation that we need to need
- 31:23Speaker 1: to go into. But we do try to control things
- 31:25Speaker 1: in the way that we think they should be in
- 31:27Speaker 1: the timing that we should think they should be in,
- 31:29Speaker 1: and Source has other plans. So I just put that
- 31:33Speaker 1: out there. So we got to learn to relax and
- 31:36Speaker 1: enjoy the flow of life. And I totally know thousand
- 31:41Speaker 1: percent that that experience was for me to be able
- 31:44Speaker 1: to get past another money block that I had been
- 31:49Speaker 1: holding on to, and that just happened to be the
- 31:52Speaker 1: way it surfaced. And it's okay because now it's how
- 31:57Speaker 1: do you learn by experience? And it's it's valuable information
- 32:03Speaker 1: as long as you implement what you learn. So I
- 32:07Speaker 1: appreciate moments that they do suck. They suck horribly. I
- 32:11Speaker 1: don't like them. I never like them. However I am
- 32:15Speaker 1: I have I have gotten really good within myself to go, okay,
- 32:20Speaker 1: what is the underlying rea reason of this, and let's
- 32:23Speaker 1: explore this and let's get to it, because the sooner
- 32:26Speaker 1: we can get to that, it can be resolved within myself,
- 32:31Speaker 1: and the next similar experience will be handled way different
- 32:36Speaker 1: than this one was. So let's explore it and let's
- 32:40Speaker 1: do the work, because that's vitally important for me for
- 32:44Speaker 1: my mental stability, for my emotional stability, for my physical stability,
- 32:50Speaker 1: and it's also increasing my connection with spirit because that's
- 32:56Speaker 1: who I'm talking to. It's an internal exploration, which is
- 33:00Speaker 1: hear it, and so it's all beneficial, and I, of
- 33:03Speaker 1: course I have gratitude for the experience, and and the
- 33:09Speaker 1: other side of that would have been I would have
- 33:10Speaker 1: hung onto this for months, days and years of beating
- 33:14Speaker 1: myself up over it. So kudos to me celebrating that,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and I'm good with it. So anyway, I just hope
- 33:22Speaker 1: that our audience can get something from that story and
- 33:25Speaker 1: from the idea that it's all internal. I could have
- 33:29Speaker 1: blamed this girl up and down all day long for
- 33:33Speaker 1: a long time, and because of her, this is the
- 33:36Speaker 1: way I am, right, And that is not the game
- 33:39Speaker 1: to play. If you want to be and do better
- 33:41Speaker 1: within yourself, you have to you have to do the
- 33:46Speaker 1: internal work and take responsibility for your own programming and
- 33:52Speaker 1: reprogramming yourself so that you know it's called unlearning or
- 33:58Speaker 1: unfuck yourself. I don't care what word do you use,
- 34:01Speaker 1: but you have to do the work. Nobody else can
- 34:04Speaker 1: do it for you.
- 34:07Speaker 3: And you wouln't want anybody else doing the work for
- 34:09Speaker 3: you anyways, because they ain't gonna.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Do it right.
- 34:13Speaker 1: They wouldn't do it right. Get it right?
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah? True.
- 34:22Speaker 3: In final words, before we wrap this up, I just
- 34:27Speaker 3: will remind people, don't feed that mind.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Don't feed it.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Take the time, just like you said, because every time
- 34:34Speaker 3: we change ourselves from within, we're affecting the whole world.
- 34:38Speaker 2: We're affecting the universe.
- 34:39Speaker 3: I know it sounds very big and huge and not possible,
- 34:42Speaker 3: but it is. It affects every it affects your environment.
- 34:45Speaker 3: It's that little ripple and that's all it takes. So
- 34:50Speaker 3: take the time for yourself.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:52Speaker 1: And along those lines, in the mornings, I meditate, and
- 34:56Speaker 1: I call in archangels and I scark angel Uriel, please
- 35:04Speaker 1: help me to remember that I am a piece of
- 35:08Speaker 1: this collective consciousness and then my thoughts, words, emotions, and
- 35:11Speaker 1: actions matter. And so that's a reminder for me in
- 35:17Speaker 1: the morning. I sometimes don't get through the day remembering it,
- 35:21Speaker 1: but I do attempt to call it in so practice practice.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Practice absolutely.
- 35:31Speaker 1: All right, friends, thanks for hanging out with us, Tea
- 35:33Speaker 1: time with Amy and Bev. Be resourceful, have these, don't
