Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hi, everyone. Welcome back to Vanity Fair. My name is
- 0:09Speaker 1: Chris Farah, and I am absolutely titillated. I mean, talk
- 0:15Speaker 1: to you, honey. It's a brand new season. Tis the
- 0:18Speaker 1: day because we're doing 90 Day Fiance. It's the other way.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We call it toe. It's season eight because it's going
- 0:25Speaker 1: to be great. It's episode one. Hi. How are you?
- 0:31Speaker 1: What's happening? Welcome back. I have a fantasy of like
- 0:36Speaker 1: doing a sketch where I can be like a Coast 103.5
- 0:39Speaker 1: kind of VJ where I can be like, love songs
- 0:43Speaker 1: on the coast. Welcome back. We have some requests coming in,
- 0:47Speaker 1: you know, that kind of situation. And I would, in
- 0:51Speaker 1: my height of heights, be able to transform my speaking
- 0:55Speaker 1: voice in front of you into someone who is ASMR
- 1:00Speaker 1: personified and I understand I have my certain quirks so
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'm working on it but that'd be like my highest
- 1:06Speaker 1: self would be like a voice like that um Until then,
- 1:10Speaker 1: here it is. Hi, all the likes, all the noises,
- 1:13Speaker 1: all the singing, all the time. My name is Chris.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I talk about pop culture and obviously TV recaps on
- 1:19Speaker 1: my podcast, Vanity Fair. If you're listening, wherever you are listening,
- 1:22Speaker 1: please give me five stars or watch me on YouTube.
- 1:25Speaker 1: You can do that too. If you want, you can
- 1:27Speaker 1: also give me $ 5 a month. That's on patreon.com. I
- 1:32Speaker 1: make it easy. I make it breezy. I make it beautiful, honey.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's Vanity Fair. Okay. At the same time, hi. You guys,
- 1:39Speaker 1: I am obviously on one. Also excited, obviously, to talk
- 1:46Speaker 1: about like brand new people because we do have two,
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, couples we've seen before. We don't get introduced
- 1:54Speaker 1: to Kenny and Armando. We don't need to. We know them.
- 1:57Speaker 1: They're coming along. Niles, of course, and Matilda are back
- 2:01Speaker 1: and we're oh so excited. So here it is. Hold
- 2:05Speaker 1: my hand. feels good, doesn't it? I put a lot
- 2:09Speaker 1: of lotion on. I get those Russian manicures. I don't
- 2:12Speaker 1: have any cuticles because we're going to talk about the
- 2:17Speaker 1: premiere episode. Okay, let's start because I want to do
- 2:22Speaker 1: this for myself. But if you're watching on any of
- 2:25Speaker 1: the visuals and you're like, you know, why would I
- 2:27Speaker 1: give her $ 5? It's because I'll upload pictures and show
- 2:30Speaker 1: you in real time what I'm talking about, especially when
- 2:33Speaker 1: I have to remember their names and I haven't done
- 2:35Speaker 1: so yet. So The way I'm going to do so
- 2:38Speaker 1: is putting up a picture. Hi, this is Jesse and Vittorio.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Jesse is 29 from the Bronx and Vittorio is 29
- 2:48Speaker 1: from Florence, Italy. He's Italian. She's Dominican. They both work
- 2:54Speaker 1: in a fashion. Okay. Now we start with Jessie, honey,
- 2:59Speaker 1: catwalking into a salon. She's like, the Bronx is the
- 3:03Speaker 1: best borough. She sits down, honey, an elder lady just
- 3:07Speaker 1: has given her the doo-wop to do. I'm not quite sure,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you know, cuts, presses, something. And she says that she's loud, Latina,
- 3:20Speaker 1: and a Leo. It's the three L's. And she is
- 3:24Speaker 1: worried because in Italy there are no empanadas, but there
- 3:28Speaker 1: are pizzas, calzones. There's pasta. There's so much. There's really
- 3:36Speaker 1: good cheese. There's like, you know, like wine. You know,
- 3:40Speaker 1: it's like, oh my God. So she obviously is fab.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Beautiful young lady, and she says she wishes that she
- 3:52Speaker 1: found her forever dude here in probably the Bronx. She
- 3:57Speaker 1: says it's the best borough. I haven't spent a lot
- 4:00Speaker 1: of time in the Bronx. I'm not saying I spent
- 4:02Speaker 1: a lot of time in any of the boroughs, but
- 4:04Speaker 1: obviously Brooklyn and Harlem more than anyone else's. Is Harlem
- 4:08Speaker 1: considered a borough? I think it is. Any New Yorker
- 4:12Speaker 1: is screaming at me right now. I know it is. Okay.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It is. Okay. It's Queens, right? It's the Bronx. It's Brooklyn.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You know why I'm confused? Because, you know, obviously it
- 4:29Speaker 1: just starts from the island. Okay. I'm going to stop talking.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm mad. So here's the deal. Jesse and Vittoro met
- 4:37Speaker 1: at Art Basel, honey, in Miami, which I've never been
- 4:41Speaker 1: to and I've always wanted to go to. It is... Obviously,
- 4:48Speaker 1: sort of pretentious in a cultured, artistic way, which is
- 4:53Speaker 1: the exact kind of event I like going to. Especially
- 5:00Speaker 1: if I can know beforehand who's going to be there
- 5:06Speaker 1: artist-wise and do some sort of recognizance or research where
- 5:10Speaker 1: then I will go into said event thinking I know
- 5:14Speaker 1: some shit. then I love it. Then I'll talk to
- 5:20Speaker 1: all the people. And then on top of that, if
- 5:22Speaker 1: I have any access to any VIP situations or parties, yes.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Here in Los Angeles, LACMA and Milka are the big museums.
- 5:36Speaker 1: There's of course more, there's the Broad, you know, there's
- 5:38Speaker 1: a lot. I'm talking about like visual artists, museums, there's
- 5:41Speaker 1: even more, of course, National History Museum, whatnot. Um, I
- 5:46Speaker 1: was a member of LACMA and I just, I should
- 5:49Speaker 1: renew it now, but they were closed for so long
- 5:51Speaker 1: as they kind of redid their gallery. So it was
- 5:53Speaker 1: like kind of a moot point. But at one point
- 5:55Speaker 1: I was on the like Middle Eastern Art Council and
- 5:59Speaker 1: part of their young professional guild. It was called Avant Garde.
- 6:05Speaker 1: All this to say they would have like parties at
- 6:11Speaker 1: Art Basel. If I had just gotten myself there, I
- 6:14Speaker 1: could have met Jesse and Vittoro. They would have been like, hi.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And I'm like, hi, you guys are not a couple.
- 6:20Speaker 1: You should, you shouldn't be together. If I see you there,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I should tell you, I'm seeing it. You shouldn't be together.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm kind of like how we'll meet Andy. And she's like,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I had a psychic and the psychic said, you know,
- 6:31Speaker 1: you guys should be together. It's like, I'm the anti.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm like, nope. I want to break people up. Okay.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So She, however, doesn't need me. She already has a
- 6:42Speaker 1: bunch of gay besties that, you know, will tell her
- 6:44Speaker 1: up from down. Okay? Straight up. Now, tell me. They
- 6:48Speaker 1: are like, we don't know about him. We are going
- 6:53Speaker 1: to call him fragile. Okay? Okay. She's like, what? She's like,
- 7:02Speaker 1: my usual type, 6'5, big, dark hair, dark eyes. And
- 7:08Speaker 1: they're like, yeah, he's not that. He's your height. And
- 7:11Speaker 1: she's small. He's tiny. He's a little guy. He's like,
- 7:15Speaker 1: you know, just like, boop. She's like, yeah. And that
- 7:22Speaker 1: gives me pause because I get turned off easily. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: can get the ick real fucking fast. It's only too
- 7:30Speaker 1: easy for me to be like, no, no, no, no.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Get away from me. And so if that happens, honey,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm going to have to take it back because I'll
- 7:44Speaker 1: be in Italy. They haven't had sex. She's made him wait.
- 7:50Speaker 1: And he seems to be great with waiting. He's fine
- 7:56Speaker 1: with it. Chill. Chill with the wait. So... Another thing
- 8:04Speaker 1: that she clocks is that he wears double-breasted linen suits. Now, he, again,
- 8:09Speaker 1: isn't too fashionable, and he is European. Now, there is
- 8:13Speaker 1: this thing, I guess, this trope in certain ideas of
- 8:21Speaker 1: masculinity that surely is toxic when it comes to trying
- 8:26Speaker 1: to pigeonhole people in boxes, but To some American women,
- 8:33Speaker 1: European women, I'm sorry, European men seem vastly different. Like,
- 8:39Speaker 1: I think that some times, especially if you come from
- 8:42Speaker 1: a culture, like she's, you know, Dominican, where you are certain,
- 8:46Speaker 1: like used to a certain level of machismo, bravado, masculinity. French, German,
- 8:56Speaker 1: like a lot of European guys, English men, French can,
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know, yeah. Like be like, Oh, interesting. You, you guys,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you know, like you have a different usage of your,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you know, like whatever it is. And here's the thing.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's obviously shitty. It's like a shitty thing. People can
- 9:16Speaker 1: do whatever they want, but it's kind of this known
- 9:19Speaker 1: thing that especially from like yesteryear, that it takes a
- 9:22Speaker 1: moment to acquiesce to how, you know, straight men move around.
- 9:29Speaker 1: that are not American. And I think allow for that
- 9:33Speaker 1: if you're not used to it, you know, because in
- 9:35Speaker 1: some certain situations and maybe like specifically in the Bronx
- 9:39Speaker 1: or like DR people, it could be like a little
- 9:41Speaker 1: more black and white. Like you're straight. You keep those wrists,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know, sturdy. I'm gay. I don't, you know, like,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and if you cross that line, it's confusing. So they
- 9:57Speaker 1: are hinting at him. with him being like, wait, what
- 10:02Speaker 1: is he? He's sensual. You say he's sensual. Like they
- 10:06Speaker 1: were hinting at him, like not being a hundred percent straight.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And then he talks about it the entire time. Okay.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So yeah. Yeah. Her friends, Rochelle's like, they haven't tried sex. Again,
- 10:20Speaker 1: can they satisfy her? They think that he is hiding
- 10:24Speaker 1: something and that he is just simply love bombing her
- 10:30Speaker 1: right now because it was sort of a whirlwind situation
- 10:36Speaker 1: where they met and then he invited her to Florence.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Of course, she goes to Florence. It's gorgeous, you know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and he Lives fabulously there for sure, right? You know,
- 10:47Speaker 1: he knows a lot of people. He's a fun person.
- 10:51Speaker 1: He works a fabulous job. He can go to the
- 10:55Speaker 1: butcher who's very hot. I mean, did you see that?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Did you see that Italian butcher? I mean, this man
- 11:01Speaker 1: goes to this Italian butcher to get, you know, a
- 11:04Speaker 1: cut of steak to do. And that butcher is right
- 11:11Speaker 1: there with that knife. Taking down that cow. You know
- 11:18Speaker 1: what I'm saying? I love iron. So I love meat.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And I love a man that can really cut a
- 11:31Speaker 1: good meat. You're like, Chris, can you stop? Like, can
- 11:36Speaker 1: you lay off of this like Coast 103.5 fantasy? It's disgusting.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, I will. Okay. People are like, Chris,
- 11:45Speaker 1: do you need a co-host? And I'm like, do I?
- 11:47Speaker 1: I can pretty much just talk to myself, you've noticed. Okay,
- 11:50Speaker 1: here's the thing. He also has this lady, this lady friend.
- 11:55Speaker 1: He is a manager of a fashion house. And then
- 12:01Speaker 1: his side gig is that he has his own label.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Now here's what is interesting. Having your own label means something.
- 12:09Speaker 1: A lot of things, right? She would buy charrette, you know,
- 12:11Speaker 1: like they could be just like, there's so many things,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know, like the Victoria Beckhams of this world, you know,
- 12:19Speaker 1: are one kind of person. And then there's just different
- 12:22Speaker 1: kinds of people that have different kinds of labels. And
- 12:25Speaker 1: of course, the manufacturing of clothes to what degree is different.
- 12:31Speaker 1: For instance, are you creating your own fabrics and patterns
- 12:37Speaker 1: and prints yourself? from scratch? Are you using already done
- 12:45Speaker 1: patterns and prints that you are just regurgitating? Are you
- 12:49Speaker 1: really just like slapping your name and label onto already done?
- 12:54Speaker 1: There's so many things that could happen, right? Already done pieces.
- 12:58Speaker 1: So he, I don't think he's Chi by Sheree. I
- 13:03Speaker 1: do think he knows fashion and He does seem to
- 13:06Speaker 1: just be using at this moment what looks like absolutely
- 13:10Speaker 1: hideous fabric. He's like, we're going to do this, like
- 13:14Speaker 1: maybe like a sexy, he said, not kimono, but like
- 13:19Speaker 1: something like that. I don't know. He just, yeah, like
- 13:24Speaker 1: a Mrs. Roper style something, caftan. And so he has
- 13:32Speaker 1: this lady that he calls his muse. who sort of
- 13:36Speaker 1: gives Anne Hathaway, which is just funny because he could
- 13:40Speaker 1: give Stanley Tucci. You know what I'm saying? Her Anne
- 13:43Speaker 1: Hathaway is like Anne Hathaway where she just got what
- 13:48Speaker 1: feels like a little too much lip filler. And she,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and I guess it's in, all the girlies are doing it,
- 13:57Speaker 1: put on that brown lip liner and then like a
- 14:02Speaker 1: pink gloss. nude gloss. And so it's just like a
- 14:08Speaker 1: big wet thing down there, you know, like, I don't know.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And it was her real attitude, I think, that was
- 14:19Speaker 1: all together because she was like pursing her, like, obviously, like,
- 14:23Speaker 1: kind of like cat butthole lips a little bit, if
- 14:25Speaker 1: I was to be honest, you know what I'm saying?
- 14:27Speaker 1: And her attitude was that this was some dumb American
- 14:34Speaker 1: from New York who she has seen online and thinks is,
- 14:41Speaker 1: she said this, wears too much makeup. And so I
- 14:45Speaker 1: think that in that way, she kind of thinks that
- 14:48Speaker 1: Jessie is like low class, like Kardashian-esque kind of person,
- 14:53Speaker 1: which if I was to be honest, I could see
- 14:59Speaker 1: her point. Jessie is beautiful. Her aesthetic is played out.
- 15:05Speaker 1: And that's the problem with, you know, a certain kind
- 15:10Speaker 1: of Kardashian threshold on the aesthetics that happen that I
- 15:17Speaker 1: really want all of them. Like this lady, Emma from 98,
- 15:21Speaker 1: like so many people to just let go of. It
- 15:26Speaker 1: ages you and it's trashy. It's classless and trashy. It's not, listen,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I'm not saying she is classless and trashy. The look is.
- 15:35Speaker 1: It just radiates a certain kind of insecurity and also,
- 15:42Speaker 1: weirdly enough, it's uncultured. Because class is one thing, like
- 15:50Speaker 1: literally how much money you make. But at the same time,
- 15:53Speaker 1: sometimes I feel like I think of it as what
- 15:55Speaker 1: I really consider to be an awareness and prioritization of
- 16:06Speaker 1: culture and art in one's life that has opened you
- 16:11Speaker 1: up and also affected your aesthetic and taste level more
- 16:15Speaker 1: where you can pick up on certain things. That's what
- 16:20Speaker 1: that is. That happens because you've been shown, you've grown accustomed,
- 16:27Speaker 1: you've had access to, or you've studied, or you have
- 16:30Speaker 1: a natural inclination, or you have a brilliant eye. It
- 16:33Speaker 1: doesn't have anything to do with money. It has to
- 16:35Speaker 1: do with a certain kind of curiosity for what looks
- 16:40Speaker 1: and feels good and whatnot. And if you Yeah, and
- 16:48Speaker 1: I think that it's an expression of probably how you
- 16:55Speaker 1: feel about a lot of things. And I think that
- 16:57Speaker 1: the Kardashian kind of overly makeup look paints one in
- 17:05Speaker 1: a very superficial light where you can assume that this
- 17:11Speaker 1: person has conversation that is like surface level and about
- 17:16Speaker 1: themselves or about Botox or about what a crazy personality
- 17:21Speaker 1: they have and like the drama in their life as
- 17:23Speaker 1: opposed to any sort of like real deep meaning emotional intelligence, right?
- 17:28Speaker 1: That kind of situation. And I think it's like I,
- 17:35Speaker 1: there's the rub that you don't want to judge a
- 17:37Speaker 1: book by its cover, but at the same time, it's
- 17:41Speaker 1: important to, to do some like self-awareness when it comes
- 17:47Speaker 1: to how you project yourself in this world. It's probably
- 17:50Speaker 1: like why that like, you know, how not to dress
- 17:54Speaker 1: show worked for so long, because people kind of can
- 17:58Speaker 1: get stuck in how they want to dress as opposed
- 18:02Speaker 1: to how they want to move in this world and
- 18:05Speaker 1: how they want the world to see them, like what
- 18:08Speaker 1: they are trying and what they are, what their values
- 18:12Speaker 1: are and what, and what, I guess, yeah, what sort
- 18:18Speaker 1: of life they lead. And so if you can align
- 18:20Speaker 1: those things, God bless. And so anyway, having said that,
- 18:24Speaker 1: this girl is mean. You're like, this girl's mean to her, Chris? Anyway,
- 18:27Speaker 1: God bless. But yes, at the same time, this muse,
- 18:32Speaker 1: who I guess he always just drapes this ugly ass
- 18:34Speaker 1: fabric on and then like, you know, create sizes of
- 18:36Speaker 1: like whatever caftans, is like, one time we hooked up.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Or maybe more than once. But we decided we weren't
- 18:49Speaker 1: going to go down that road. But it's very obvious
- 18:51Speaker 1: that at any time I think he's a genius and
- 18:53Speaker 1: I will jump back into bed with him. Now, we're
- 18:56Speaker 1: all like, what? So is he effing you and that's
- 18:59Speaker 1: why he doesn't care about the other girl? Is he
- 19:02Speaker 1: paying you to say this? Is he going to go
- 19:05Speaker 1: back to that butcher and get another cut? What? What?
- 19:10Speaker 1: We don't know the answer, okay? But all of those
- 19:13Speaker 1: questions and more are popping into our heads. So let's
- 19:17Speaker 1: move on, honey. We're going to move on to Andy
- 19:20Speaker 1: Jane in Tennessee and Nigel. He is, honey, Australian and
- 19:25Speaker 1: they look like this, okay? God bless. Now, to me, she,
- 19:29Speaker 1: and I said this in a video, gives a lot
- 19:32Speaker 1: of Ellie and Victor, okay? Not so much in the face,
- 19:35Speaker 1: although yes, yes. But In the entire storyline. I like her.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So here's the thing also. We start, she is singing
- 19:48Speaker 1: bluegrass songs. against a beautiful American flag lit up wall.
- 19:55Speaker 1: She has this bedazzled corset and her cute ass hair.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I don't know what it's called. Is that a blixie?
- 20:05Speaker 1: I got my hair cut. You can see it if
- 20:07Speaker 1: you want to give me $ 5 on my Patreon or
- 20:10Speaker 1: you can join my YouTube, but I got it cut
- 20:13Speaker 1: and I have bangs and it's darker. All those things happen.
- 20:16Speaker 1: They happened in steps. I went a little darker first
- 20:20Speaker 1: and then, well, first I cut my hair and then
- 20:22Speaker 1: I went a little darker and then I got bangs
- 20:25Speaker 1: and then I went really dark and then I cut
- 20:28Speaker 1: my hair even more and blended the bangs. And having
- 20:31Speaker 1: said all that, at one point I was considering getting
- 20:35Speaker 1: what I think is called a Blixie and I think
- 20:37Speaker 1: that that is what she has. which I'm not going
- 20:41Speaker 1: to get because I realized I don't have the self-confidence
- 20:44Speaker 1: for it. Anyway, so she's singing these bluegrass tunes, honey,
- 20:52Speaker 1: and she is living her life. And I like her. Immediately,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I'm like, I like her. She can sing. I like bluegrass.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'm like living for that. She's, you know, She's giving
- 21:01Speaker 1: it to me. I'm enjoying it. The crowd's enjoying it.
- 21:05Speaker 1: She has a cute style. I'm really happy. And then
- 21:08Speaker 1: she starts telling the story. She's like a psychic, by
- 21:12Speaker 1: the way. I just had this moment where, do you
- 21:15Speaker 1: ever have, and this is ADHD, do you ever have
- 21:17Speaker 1: this thing where you have certain words you cannot spell?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Like psychology and psychic are those two words. I wish
- 21:23Speaker 1: that I can tell you as 44, like a 44-year-old
- 21:25Speaker 1: person that I had gotten past that I can't spell
- 21:28Speaker 1: those words. But truly I can't. Every time I sit down,
- 21:30Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my God, what's it going to be?
- 21:32Speaker 1: I'm so mad. Like sometimes even spelling Pisces is hard,
- 21:35Speaker 1: but I got past that. It's P-I-S and I can
- 21:37Speaker 1: go on from there. But psychic, always hard. Psychology, I'm like,
- 21:40Speaker 1: oh no. Having said that, I was with Matt Marr, who,
- 21:44Speaker 1: of course, is with Reality Gaze, last night. And I
- 21:47Speaker 1: was driving past the Psychic Eye bookstore. It's in Sherman Oaks.
- 21:51Speaker 1: It's on Ventura. And we went inside. It was so fun.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I bought this fan, which I don't have with me. Oh,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I do. It's right here. And it is one of those, like,
- 22:01Speaker 1: kind of Bridgerton fans or whatever. But, like, it's so
- 22:03Speaker 1: loud and it makes, like, one of those, like, sounds. Christina,
- 22:07Speaker 1: you can cut that out if it's too much. I
- 22:09Speaker 1: try to do it away from the mic. But, okay.
- 22:12Speaker 1: At that point, I was like, God, psychic is so
- 22:14Speaker 1: hard to spell. And I'm staring at it. I'm like,
- 22:17Speaker 1: I am just going to commit this to memory with
- 22:19Speaker 1: a little tune or a little something. And I did.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And the stupid thing was, is what I was like.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I was like, okay, why? P.S. Why? P.S. Why is
- 22:33Speaker 1: it so hard to spell psychic? And if I did,
- 22:37Speaker 1: how chic would that be? That's what I have to remember. P.S. Postscript, why? P.S.
- 22:44Speaker 1: It'd be like, dear listener, I can't spell psychic. Love, Chris. P.S.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Why can't I spell psychic? It'd be so chic if
- 22:53Speaker 1: I did. That'd be like my postscript, and then that'd
- 22:55Speaker 1: be how I spell it. P.S., of course, now is
- 22:57Speaker 1: the first two letters. Why, of course, I said in
- 23:01Speaker 1: the context, the Word Y, but in this one will
- 23:05Speaker 1: just be the letter. So now you're at P-S-Y. And
- 23:07Speaker 1: then all you have to do from that moment is
- 23:10Speaker 1: remember the word chic, which I think is chic. So
- 23:14Speaker 1: all this to say, a psychic told her that she
- 23:18Speaker 1: would meet a foreign man at a beach. And she
- 23:20Speaker 1: was like, that's weird. There's no beach around me. And,
- 23:23Speaker 1: you know, ends up she meets him at a beach
- 23:26Speaker 1: in Mexico. And all I'm saying is if you don't
- 23:28Speaker 1: know how to spell psychic, hopefully... I just taught you
- 23:33Speaker 1: the dumbest way to remember. And do you guys ever
- 23:36Speaker 1: do that for small things for yourself? P.S. Why? Is
- 23:42Speaker 1: psychic so hard to spell? And if you got it,
- 23:45Speaker 1: wouldn't you feel chic? Okay. So we get a little
- 23:50Speaker 1: tune that she sings. It's called Worlds Apart. And she's like,
- 23:54Speaker 1: we're two peas in a pod. It's better than that. Okay.
- 24:00Speaker 1: She's like, I'm a very serious person. We're like, what? Wait, what?
- 24:04Speaker 1: This girl's serious? This girl, honey, with that red bandana
- 24:07Speaker 1: and that glittery corset and that like red ass Kool-Aid hair,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you're a serious person? What are you, like a scientist?
- 24:17Speaker 1: What are you? John, that guy we'll meet? You're making
- 24:20Speaker 1: sonar shit? What are you talking about? You serious. How
- 24:23Speaker 1: are you serious being like, I'm had a good psychic.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Who told me I was going to be my love
- 24:29Speaker 1: of my life on a beach? Here's my song. Like,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'm a serious person. The song wasn't like, and he
- 24:36Speaker 1: loved me. You know what I'm saying? I'm just saying. Okay.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And she's like, so I'm so serious. We're like, okay,
- 24:42Speaker 1: that I need someone who's playful and fun. And it's
- 24:45Speaker 1: at this point, we're like, oh, are you trying to
- 24:47Speaker 1: talk us or you into the reason why you're with
- 24:51Speaker 1: this person? I don't want to yuck anyone's young. Isn't
- 24:57Speaker 1: it interesting, though, what people are into, what people are
- 25:00Speaker 1: attracted to? Isn't it interesting? I find it fascinating. You know,
- 25:10Speaker 1: God bless. He has a handlebar mustache and a mullet.
- 25:14Speaker 1: That is what that man has. He has a handlebar
- 25:16Speaker 1: mustache and a mullet. Handlebar mustache and a mullet and
- 25:20Speaker 1: a beard. And tattoos. But I like the tattoos. He
- 25:26Speaker 1: also has big hands. There are some pros. There are
- 25:30Speaker 1: some cons. Okay. She says, he keeps my heart beating.
- 25:43Speaker 1: It's beautiful. She says she's never felt love like this.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I've never been. And that's a different song. in love before.
- 25:54Speaker 1: That's from Guys and Dolls. New love like this before.
- 26:03Speaker 1: That's the other song that I was kind of thinking. Okay.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So she just is like, he is fun. He's lively.
- 26:12Speaker 1: He's exciting. She makes it seem like she just lives
- 26:16Speaker 1: her life. She makes it seem that she spends, honey,
- 26:19Speaker 1: all her days just At a boring-ass library in, like,
- 26:23Speaker 1: a retirement home honey village where she just counts pennies.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I mean, she lives a great life, sounds like. So...
- 26:37Speaker 1: She and her band, she says, are booking gigs around Nashville.
- 26:42Speaker 1: And they're about to play something called a Rocky Tonk,
- 26:45Speaker 1: which I'm guessing is a festival. But she can't do
- 26:47Speaker 1: it because she's moving to Australia. She... Next scene is
- 26:53Speaker 1: hanging out with her family. They're having a good old-fashioned barbecue, honey.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Burgers and hot dogs. Yum. Her mom is making coleslaw
- 27:02Speaker 1: or macaroni salad. I have never enjoyed macaroni salad or coleslaw.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm not a big mayonnaise lover like that. I don't know.
- 27:21Speaker 1: It's like, It always is kind of like vinegary and
- 27:24Speaker 1: like creamy. Then there's like pickles in it. There's like
- 27:27Speaker 1: always so many different things in those kinds of things.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'm just like, could this have been 17 less ingredients? Just,
- 27:39Speaker 1: just wondering. So, She has a great family, though, and
- 27:43Speaker 1: they're all very close. They all live close, and they
- 27:46Speaker 1: love being together. And they hate the fact that she
- 27:49Speaker 1: is moving, even though when she was young, her parents
- 27:52Speaker 1: called her Annoying Annie. Because I guess Annie would always
- 27:55Speaker 1: be like... There's two sisters who, I guess, probably put
- 27:59Speaker 1: up a lot of loud noises. And she'd be like,
- 28:02Speaker 1: look at me! I'm assuming middle child. Look at me.
- 28:05Speaker 1: And so... They're close. When her sisters see, like, a
- 28:15Speaker 1: picture of Nigel for the first time and we know
- 28:18Speaker 1: what they saw and we're like, oh, my God. Her
- 28:21Speaker 1: sisters were like, oh, yeah, it tracks. Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Sure. Yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Hotter than what we thought. Hotter than the last guy.
- 28:32Speaker 1: More conventionally attractive. More like, ooh, you know. Jesus Christ.
- 28:40Speaker 1: they don't have a lot of trust for her. She
- 28:43Speaker 1: has dated some bad guy, weirdos, cheap skates, dumb dumbs, losers.
- 28:51Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Do you like, and it's
- 28:58Speaker 1: hard to watch for us, but mostly her family. So
- 29:04Speaker 1: she gives away her boots to her sisters, Robin and Carrie.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And they're like, we get those sparkly ones. She's like, no,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Because you know, if I'm one thing, I'm serious. And
- 29:13Speaker 1: I seriously love these glitter cowboy boots. We're like, yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 1: no serious person would have those boots, nor keep them
- 29:22Speaker 1: if they were traveling across the world. I mean, it's fine.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm not a serious person. If you looked around right
- 29:30Speaker 1: now into the room that I'm sitting in, there's multiple
- 29:33Speaker 1: wigs on multiple walls where all the dumb drag comedy
- 29:37Speaker 1: camp shows I do all, you know, I'm just like,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I'm not, I would never say that about me. Most
- 29:43Speaker 1: performers aren't serious people. Like, Unless you are really going
- 29:49Speaker 1: to take yourself fucking seriously afuck as like, okay, fine,
- 29:54Speaker 1: as like the Shakespearean tragic actor of Rada fame or
- 29:59Speaker 1: like top tier pretentious New York visual artists, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, fine, fine.
- 30:08Speaker 1: But even then, I would assume that an artistic personality
- 30:13Speaker 1: would have like humor or creativity that is at its core,
- 30:19Speaker 1: a certain playfulness that is unserious. You're being so unserious
- 30:26Speaker 1: right now. You know what I'm saying? Okay, I'll get
- 30:29Speaker 1: off that. Wanda, her mom, has what looks like, I think, okay,
- 30:37Speaker 1: so this is, I'm assuming, because they're looking through her shoes,
- 30:43Speaker 1: her house or her She lives with her parents. It
- 30:48Speaker 1: was a little confusing. I'll tell you that this kitchen
- 30:52Speaker 1: is a Black & Decker kitchen with Lowry's spices, if
- 30:56Speaker 1: that resonates to you. The spice cabinet is filled with Lowry's.
- 31:03Speaker 1: All of the appliances are Black & Decker. Black, Black
- 31:06Speaker 1: & Decker. So after the mom had, like, you know,
- 31:12Speaker 1: shaken the final... of her macaroni and salad. She says,
- 31:18Speaker 1: can he cook? Like this person would be a good cook.
- 31:24Speaker 1: And Andy is like, well, when we camped, we came
- 31:27Speaker 1: up with some things that were pretty interesting, which is
- 31:32Speaker 1: the worst answer to that question that should just be no. No,
- 31:38Speaker 1: he can't cook. Because what you said is that you
- 31:42Speaker 1: cooked for them When you were camping, which I'm assuming
- 31:47Speaker 1: meant that you opened up like Hormel Chili, one of
- 31:51Speaker 1: those tin pans, you know, camping pans. Can you tell
- 31:59Speaker 1: I don't camp? Over a fire pit, fire, campfire that
- 32:09Speaker 1: you made. Yeah, I don't camp. I, you know, I,
- 32:14Speaker 1: for some reason did, I mean, I do like Hormel
- 32:15Speaker 1: Chili though. So her sisters and her mom are like,
- 32:22Speaker 1: this can't be real and is a horrible, horrible choice
- 32:28Speaker 1: and don't do it. And they are like biting their
- 32:31Speaker 1: tongue and there's cameras there. But also like, I always
- 32:34Speaker 1: think to myself, why didn't you get a handle on
- 32:37Speaker 1: this before? But I think it's just because she just
- 32:40Speaker 1: decided to And they're like, oh no. She must've just
- 32:43Speaker 1: been like, I'm not going to tell them until I
- 32:45Speaker 1: tell them A, that I'm going to move to Australia
- 32:48Speaker 1: and B, that the next time, you know, they see me,
- 32:53Speaker 1: there'll be a camera crew. I'm also filming the docu-series
- 32:56Speaker 1: 90 Day Fiance. At this point, I also wish, because,
- 33:02Speaker 1: you know, we're like eight seasons into, you know, the
- 33:06Speaker 1: offshoots of 90 Day Fiance, that I want the sisters
- 33:10Speaker 1: to answer the question like, hey, have you ever watched
- 33:12Speaker 1: the show? And can you imagine what your lives are
- 33:15Speaker 1: going to be like now that your sister signed up
- 33:17Speaker 1: for this? Because that's real talk to me. We get
- 33:25Speaker 1: this horrible, horrible story. I mean, really bad. Like the
- 33:29Speaker 1: kind of story where I were like, run. I mean,
- 33:32Speaker 1: this is where I Would be so upset and it's disgusting.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I'm so mad. Okay. So they were in Mexico at
- 33:42Speaker 1: some resort and then they got suckered into going to
- 33:47Speaker 1: a timeshare meeting because they wanted the free lunch. Okay. Period.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I'll tell you this right now. I get the ick.
- 34:04Speaker 1: When men decide that their time is worth less than
- 34:12Speaker 1: free things. That are really great free things. Like a
- 34:22Speaker 1: lunch isn't a really great free thing. It's a great thing.
- 34:29Speaker 1: A free lunch is great. Is it a really great thing?
- 34:33Speaker 1: really great free thing no so I don't want a
- 34:38Speaker 1: man to spend time a lot of time so that
- 34:44Speaker 1: he can get it it's sad to me and I
- 34:50Speaker 1: think that's a privilege to say that but am I
- 34:54Speaker 1: alone I know a man can waste a whole night
- 35:00Speaker 1: if he's gonna get a fucking free car Surely, of course, right?
- 35:05Speaker 1: Whatever you want. I mean, I don't know. I don't
- 35:07Speaker 1: know what you'd get free and why you would get
- 35:09Speaker 1: that free, but what a great thing. It would be
- 35:11Speaker 1: a really great thing. I'd be like, go you. Good.
- 35:16Speaker 1: It doesn't even have to be a fancy car. If
- 35:18Speaker 1: he spent all night to get a free whatever, God bless.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I'd be like, oh my God, you did that. It's
- 35:22Speaker 1: fucking great. Only took you a night. But he made
- 35:28Speaker 1: her go to a timeshare where they were going to
- 35:30Speaker 1: get a free lunch, where then somehow, I don't know,
- 35:33Speaker 1: I'm assuming fucked up on shrooms, they decided that they
- 35:38Speaker 1: should always come back to this one dumb place with
- 35:41Speaker 1: these dumb water slides as grown-ass adults because they were
- 35:45Speaker 1: tripping on fucking LSD or shrooms. Oh, sorry. Says me,
- 35:51Speaker 1: Chris Farah, allegedly, but I'm just saying. Doesn't that seem
- 35:55Speaker 1: like that? Where... Then they were like, oh good, you
- 36:00Speaker 1: guys will sign up. So put this credit card down.
- 36:03Speaker 1: And that asshole's like, I don't have a credit card
- 36:06Speaker 1: that works here. Which, if they're in Mexico, and you're
- 36:11Speaker 1: in Australia, and you're in Mexico, what credit card works
- 36:15Speaker 1: there that you're using? Are you only using cash? Are you, okay.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And then, She's like, oh, okay, I'll use my credit card. Now,
- 36:30Speaker 1: this is where, I mean, if you are listening to me,
- 36:37Speaker 1: I don't care what gender you are, never do this.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Never make a commitment with someone like this, where you're
- 36:52Speaker 1: going to split something like this. But it's all on
- 36:57Speaker 1: your name, credit, credit card, period. If you don't watch
- 37:05Speaker 1: one more episode of 90 Day Fiancé, save yourself from
- 37:09Speaker 1: this nightmare. Because it's Halloween time and nothing is scarier
- 37:15Speaker 1: than getting locked in a timeshare contract with some dumb
- 37:19Speaker 1: asshole Peter Pan asshole that told you he was going
- 37:22Speaker 1: to always go down that goddamn slide. But for some reason,
- 37:25Speaker 1: upon closer inspection, the slide is old, smelly, decrepit, and
- 37:31Speaker 1: you realize you were swindled. And he's like, I don't
- 37:34Speaker 1: want to pay for this. And now it's all on you.
- 37:37Speaker 1: But For some horrible reason, you decide this guy still
- 37:42Speaker 1: is worth your time? He thinks his time is worth
- 37:49Speaker 1: a free lunch. Why are you hitching yourself to this asshole?
- 37:53Speaker 1: He doesn't care about his time nor your time, period. Yikes, okay?
- 38:01Speaker 1: So she's still with him. And this ass, I mean, really,
- 38:04Speaker 1: he's just like, yeah, I'm not gonna pay that. Yes,
- 38:06Speaker 1: I said, but it's on your credit card, not mine.
- 38:09Speaker 1: So I'm just going to pretend it didn't happen. I
- 38:10Speaker 1: don't care. It's not me. It's you. What kind of
- 38:25Speaker 1: person can pretend to care or say that they do
- 38:34Speaker 1: or love someone And be so callous with them and
- 38:39Speaker 1: their financials or your commitment to them. Especially if you
- 38:46Speaker 1: want to be with them for the rest of your life.
- 38:50Speaker 1: If Andy had never told them until now, or if
- 38:53Speaker 1: she had told them, that is un-fucking-forgivable. That's the kind
- 38:57Speaker 1: of shit you can sue for. That's so bad. God. God.
- 39:05Speaker 1: This makes me sad only because it is hard to
- 39:09Speaker 1: find people in this modern age. And you do want
- 39:13Speaker 1: people to find companionship, right? Especially because, as I've said,
- 39:18Speaker 1: this whole show is about dealing with, to me, profound loneliness.
- 39:21Speaker 1: But that's just me projecting. And it does seem like
- 39:25Speaker 1: Ellie would enjoy being with someone and sharing a life
- 39:29Speaker 1: with someone. And I think that she specifically probably has,
- 39:34Speaker 1: like her mom says, a certain example set forth, which
- 39:38Speaker 1: is her parents. And she wants that. She is a
- 39:41Speaker 1: family gal. She wants, I think, to be singing, cooking, living, laughing, loving,
- 39:52Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying? Down South. And when you
- 39:56Speaker 1: have that kind of beautiful soul, yeah, people can take
- 40:01Speaker 1: advantage of you. Now, this is episode one and I
- 40:04Speaker 1: do like Andy. I like her so much that I'm
- 40:07Speaker 1: almost scared because I know that sometimes if I lay
- 40:09Speaker 1: my claim that I like someone, bullshit happens. They turn
- 40:13Speaker 1: out weird. They do something I can't co-sign. I'm like,
- 40:18Speaker 1: oh no. But I do like her and I want
- 40:21Speaker 1: the best for her. And her family's reaction to her
- 40:25Speaker 1: makes me feel like they genuinely, obviously, care and understand
- 40:31Speaker 1: that they have someone who is very sensitive and very giving.
- 40:34Speaker 1: They're like, she's a bum magnet. She's just easy to
- 40:43Speaker 1: take advantage of, says her mom. So after the burgers
- 40:49Speaker 1: and hot dogs are done and they're playing cornhole, they
- 40:52Speaker 1: talk more. She lets her parents know that after the
- 41:00Speaker 1: Times Share fiasco, that he also wants to be E
- 41:04Speaker 1: & M, ethically, no, ethically non-monogamous. I always fucking say that.
- 41:10Speaker 1: It's so annoying. Ethically non-monogamous. And her mom's reaction to
- 41:15Speaker 1: that is... utter dismay. It's head back. It's like a
- 41:29Speaker 1: sort of like stab what it felt like in her
- 41:32Speaker 1: heart for her daughter. It was actually really hard to watch.
- 41:35Speaker 1: And there's two ways to look at this. What she
- 41:39Speaker 1: says is mildly problematic to me. You know, I want
- 41:43Speaker 1: for you what you, you know, what I have with
- 41:44Speaker 1: your dad, your dad Would never do those kind of things.
- 41:47Speaker 1: He treats me right. Now, every relationship looks different. And surely,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I don't know if her dad is the prime example
- 41:56Speaker 1: of men. Maybe he is. But we can't always assume
- 41:58Speaker 1: that's what she wants. But at the same time, it
- 42:03Speaker 1: does seem like Andy has never been in that kind
- 42:06Speaker 1: of relationship before and certainly wouldn't pursue it. However, she
- 42:11Speaker 1: has made the decision that he is worth that. Which,
- 42:16Speaker 1: at this point, is not true because he defaulted on
- 42:21Speaker 1: the fucking timeshare. So, unfortunately, Andy's like, it also doesn't
- 42:32Speaker 1: make sense because, you know, we're long distance. Now, here
- 42:36Speaker 1: is where we're like, okay, whatever. What's going to happen
- 42:43Speaker 1: when you get there? Which, God bless, her sister asks
- 42:46Speaker 1: because her sister is doing the Lord's work. And she's like, well,
- 42:50Speaker 1: I haven't said out loud what I thought was going
- 42:52Speaker 1: to happen. But obviously, what I assume is going to
- 42:54Speaker 1: happen is he's going to stop being with anyone else,
- 42:57Speaker 1: being with me, because I'm there. And everyone, including her dad,
- 43:03Speaker 1: including all of her sisters, are like, what? What do
- 43:07Speaker 1: you assume happened? What are you fucking assuming? And also,
- 43:11Speaker 1: no one here taught her, like, if you assume you're
- 43:13Speaker 1: making an ass of you and me, why would you
- 43:15Speaker 1: assume that? Look at him. You think this guy is
- 43:19Speaker 1: just going to, like, you know, be like, whoa, yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: my logic is the same as your logic. No, he
- 43:23Speaker 1: has a mullet. No, he has a— what are you talking— a
- 43:27Speaker 1: handlebar mustache and a mullet and a beard. No, the
- 43:30Speaker 1: way you think and the way he thinks are different
- 43:32Speaker 1: fucking things, okay? When he gets up, he's like, yep.
- 43:35Speaker 1: And when you get up, you don't think, okay. So, okay.
- 43:38Speaker 1: So people have different minds. And I think it's important
- 43:41Speaker 1: to take that as a lesson. People have different minds.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Don't assume. Everyone, you, me is like, why would you
- 43:48Speaker 1: not fucking ask that before? And then we're like, girl, why? Like,
- 43:55Speaker 1: you're too seasoned, girl. Now I'm going to say something.
- 43:58Speaker 1: You are too seasoned for this. There's been too many
- 44:00Speaker 1: red flags. If you have been with a lot of tools,
- 44:05Speaker 1: then that means that you have learned a lot of lessons, hopefully.
- 44:11Speaker 1: There's just the kind of, let's just say, sensitive soul
- 44:15Speaker 1: or gullible soul or overly sweet or maybe a little
- 44:18Speaker 1: daft or just like girl who wants to be related.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Let's just say there's that type. It's funny because you
- 44:25Speaker 1: would assume that there's two kinds of way that girl
- 44:28Speaker 1: can relate. have a relationship history. Maybe that person hasn't
- 44:32Speaker 1: been with a lot of people before. And therefore, this
- 44:36Speaker 1: kind of situation with all these red flags and all
- 44:39Speaker 1: of these, you should run, but I'm going to instead
- 44:45Speaker 1: make a huge justification for, would almost make a little
- 44:50Speaker 1: more sense because you'd be like, this person's naive and
- 44:55Speaker 1: they really don't know how to spot a red flag
- 44:59Speaker 1: and how to take care of themselves and whatnot, right?
- 45:03Speaker 1: They're not mature enough or they haven't in the experience
- 45:08Speaker 1: necessary for this. Because obviously we all know when it
- 45:11Speaker 1: comes to age, it doesn't make a difference when it
- 45:15Speaker 1: comes to relationship experience. And that can be difficult for
- 45:18Speaker 1: people to A, deal with when that is themselves because
- 45:22Speaker 1: they can feel shame or whatnot, but also We have
- 45:28Speaker 1: in our lives the things that we have more experience
- 45:32Speaker 1: at and that we are better at across the board.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Some of us are better at throwing and catching. Some
- 45:36Speaker 1: of us are better at math. Some of us are
- 45:38Speaker 1: better at public speaking. Some of us are better at
- 45:42Speaker 1: relationships or communicating or just had more relationships. And because
- 45:47Speaker 1: of that, you have more experience rolling with the punches
- 45:52Speaker 1: or how to deal with certain situations that arise. But
- 45:56Speaker 1: if you haven't had a lot of relationships and you
- 45:58Speaker 1: find one and you really want to hold on to it,
- 46:01Speaker 1: you almost act like how I think she's acting. But she,
- 46:05Speaker 1: according to her family, has dated dud after dud. So
- 46:09Speaker 1: she should know what's up. She should be like, oh yeah,
- 46:14Speaker 1: smells like, you know, the stench of familiarity. Oh no,
- 46:23Speaker 1: I'm in a repeat pattern. I have to pull myself
- 46:27Speaker 1: out of this obvious repeat pattern. I understand now, like
- 46:34Speaker 1: the ways in which I have given up like my
- 46:39Speaker 1: own autonomy or my own self for someone else, I
- 46:43Speaker 1: can learn and take better care because, you know, that's
- 46:47Speaker 1: what growing up means. And that's what like, you know,
- 46:51Speaker 1: as a female speaking to you, in her 40s. It
- 46:58Speaker 1: feels so good to have an awareness in that way.
- 47:03Speaker 1: It sucked to want something and then be like, okay,
- 47:08Speaker 1: I'll just, I'm just making an excuse for that because
- 47:10Speaker 1: I really want this. Like, it sucks. That sucks. Anyway,
- 47:16Speaker 1: it's hard to listen to and she kind of is
- 47:18Speaker 1: getting it slowly. Final scene is that she is getting
- 47:24Speaker 1: ready to go to the airport and she sort of
- 47:29Speaker 1: confesses that earlier on he had made a comment that
- 47:37Speaker 1: he was going to go camping with a lover and
- 47:42Speaker 1: that to go camping he was going to have to
- 47:45Speaker 1: pay also for her ticket and this bitch is not
- 47:50Speaker 1: fucking paying her for that timeshare So Andy's like, that
- 47:55Speaker 1: seems weird. That seems a little relationship thing seems weird.
- 47:59Speaker 1: And I like it. So she says something and that
- 48:03Speaker 1: asshole's like, oh, well, what do you want me to cancel?
- 48:10Speaker 1: You want me to cancel the camping? I guess. How disappointing.
- 48:13Speaker 1: That's really disappointing. I wish that I was, I guess,
- 48:15Speaker 1: with someone who was a little cooler, more mature, I guess,
- 48:20Speaker 1: but I'm not. So I guess I'll cancel. I'm going
- 48:24Speaker 1: to lose a deposit, like whatever he's going to say.
- 48:26Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, he made sure I knew that he
- 48:28Speaker 1: was disappointed. It's so interesting because I've never had anyone
- 48:36Speaker 1: try and talk me into being in an ethically non-monogamous relationship.
- 48:43Speaker 1: But I assume there is this thing where you're, I'm
- 48:46Speaker 1: assuming you're like, well, you know, yeah, if one of
- 48:48Speaker 1: us wants to pull the plug or isn't comfortable with something,
- 48:52Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, that's fine kind of situation. But it
- 48:56Speaker 1: would be shitty if you were just like, oh, I'm
- 49:02Speaker 1: going to also make you feel bad if you feel bad.
- 49:07Speaker 1: If you are uncomfortable because I've done something that crossed
- 49:11Speaker 1: your boundary, I'm going to make sure that you know
- 49:14Speaker 1: that I also feel bad that you feel bad. So
- 49:17Speaker 1: the next time that I cross your boundary, you'll think twice.
- 49:20Speaker 1: about my making me feel bad. Like it's such a
- 49:24Speaker 1: weird manipulation tactic. You know what I'm saying? Okay. So
- 49:30Speaker 1: she dodged that bullet, but then this asshole was like, yeah,
- 49:35Speaker 1: last weekend. She's like, what'd you do last weekend? And
- 49:37Speaker 1: he sends this laundry list texts, which you almost can
- 49:42Speaker 1: feel like he never was like, oh, and you, what
- 49:45Speaker 1: did you do? Or ask a follow-up question or be like,
- 49:47Speaker 1: I remember you told me that you were going to
- 49:49Speaker 1: have a show. How's your show where you premiered your song,
- 49:54Speaker 1: Worlds Apart, about me? How was your family barbecue? Didn't
- 50:00Speaker 1: ask about that. Whatever, God bless. Laundry list of like, hey,
- 50:03Speaker 1: woke up, smoked a bowl, put beard oil in my
- 50:07Speaker 1: fucking hair, you know? And then at the very end
- 50:11Speaker 1: of the text was like, and then I spend time
- 50:13Speaker 1: with my lover. Now, this is the second time, and
- 50:16Speaker 1: I allowed the first time, but this is the second
- 50:18Speaker 1: goddamn time in the story where she keeps referring to this,
- 50:22Speaker 1: she keeps saying lover, okay? Lover. Here's the thing. First
- 50:26Speaker 1: of all, that's a Rachel Dratch, Will Ferrell sketch from
- 50:30Speaker 1: SNL where there's all that hot tub and she's just
- 50:32Speaker 1: always making another normal couple weirded out by being like,
- 50:36Speaker 1: Me and my lover enjoy going into a cool pool sometime.
- 50:42Speaker 1: You're just like, that was such a great sketch. Okay,
- 50:43Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about. I'm not as funny
- 50:45Speaker 1: as her. God bless her. However, why does she keep
- 50:48Speaker 1: using the word lover? It is pretentious, weird. Like, is
- 50:52Speaker 1: it gender unspecific? I mean, is that why she's saying it?
- 50:57Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I guess. Is there no other weak
- 50:59Speaker 1: sexual partner? Because she's upset. Because she feels like he
- 51:06Speaker 1: is getting emotionally attached to this person. So is that
- 51:09Speaker 1: why she's using the word lover over and over again?
- 51:14Speaker 1: And she's right. Why did he keep hooking up with
- 51:17Speaker 1: this one girl? Or no, person. I don't know. It
- 51:21Speaker 1: could be anyone. Sorry, I don't mean this girl. You know,
- 51:24Speaker 1: but sexual partner. But what happens is Andy, like in
- 51:29Speaker 1: real time, starts to realize that that there have been
- 51:34Speaker 1: a lot of red flags and she's about to move.
- 51:43Speaker 1: If I was Andy and all of this is true,
- 51:46Speaker 1: I'm just saying, my advice, and this is my voice
- 51:50Speaker 1: to everyone, I'm nothing but advice, is to kind of
- 51:56Speaker 1: garner a stronger mind-body connection because it does feel like journaling,
- 52:06Speaker 1: where you can remember day by day the moments that
- 52:10Speaker 1: stick with you. Because sometimes moments stick with you and
- 52:15Speaker 1: you don't know why, but it's your body being like, beep, beep, beep, beep,
- 52:22Speaker 1: you know, for whatever reason, right? For good and bad.
- 52:28Speaker 1: You could be, you know, with someone, with a friend,
- 52:32Speaker 1: And then that person remembers a joke that you had
- 52:35Speaker 1: told them or a story, or maybe they buy you
- 52:41Speaker 1: something or gave you a little gift, like something that
- 52:44Speaker 1: you weren't expecting. And maybe you might, I don't know,
- 52:49Speaker 1: not think twice about it, but in writing it down
- 52:53Speaker 1: and reflecting, you know, like things have meaning. People making
- 53:01Speaker 1: you feel good making you feel seen is like a
- 53:05Speaker 1: beautiful thing to celebrate. And I think that the more
- 53:09Speaker 1: you can also get in touch with those moments, you
- 53:11Speaker 1: can get in touch with the moments where your body
- 53:13Speaker 1: is like, oh wait, what? This person? No, I don't
- 53:16Speaker 1: like that. I don't like the way that felt. That
- 53:18Speaker 1: felt bad. Every time I'm with this person, I feel bad.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Or I get anxious and when this person's about to
- 53:26Speaker 1: call me and I'm like, please, dear God, please give
- 53:29Speaker 1: me attention. And then I finally feel good. And then
- 53:30Speaker 1: I don't hear from this person. I feel bad. And
- 53:32Speaker 1: then I hear from this person. I feel good. And
- 53:34Speaker 1: then I don't hear from him for four days and
- 53:35Speaker 1: I feel bad. And then they send me a meme
- 53:37Speaker 1: and I feel like, is this real? Like all of
- 53:40Speaker 1: those things, you know, are important. And I think that,
- 53:43Speaker 1: you know, whatever you can do to become super aware
- 53:48Speaker 1: and listen to yourself and trust yourself is important because you,
- 53:51Speaker 1: you know, you want to take care of yourself at
- 53:53Speaker 1: the end of the day. And by taking care of yourself, A,
- 53:58Speaker 1: you'll be happy, happier. Also, B, you are more inclined,
- 54:03Speaker 1: like I said, to hopefully feel the moments where someone is, yeah,
- 54:09Speaker 1: making you feel good, seen, comfortable, at home, at peace, whatever,
- 54:16Speaker 1: whatever it is that you were expecting, maybe, or not.
- 54:26Speaker 1: that you normally wouldn't pay attention to and what that
- 54:29Speaker 1: could mean for you. And that person, who knows? Who knows? Okay,
- 54:35Speaker 1: so she's crying. She's nervous. We don't know what to do.
- 54:39Speaker 1: We're definitely not seeing any of him. We have no
- 54:42Speaker 1: idea what his life is like and we're scared. We
- 54:44Speaker 1: don't know what this lover is and we don't know
- 54:45Speaker 1: what he does or how he makes any money or
- 54:47Speaker 1: if he has any money. We're assuming he doesn't. She
- 54:51Speaker 1: is just flying by the seat of her pants and
- 54:54Speaker 1: we're like, Why would you do that? Haven't you been burned?
- 55:00Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you have. Okay. All right, my loves.
- 55:03Speaker 1: That is going to be part one of this two
- 55:06Speaker 1: part as we dive in because we have a lot
- 55:08Speaker 1: more to go and I have more pictures. Thank you
- 55:10Speaker 1: so very much for paying attention and listening and downloading
- 55:16Speaker 1: and laughing and also being like, Chris, I like you,
- 55:22Speaker 1: which is like complimenting me in your mind. If you
- 55:24Speaker 1: want to compliment me in real life, I think you can.
- 55:27Speaker 1: It'd be a comment. You can go ahead, maybe give
- 55:30Speaker 1: me a review on Apple or Spotify, Vanity Fair, wherever

- 56:06Speaker 1: if you want me to cut my hair like fucking
- 56:08Speaker 1: Andy and dye it, all I will do it. I
- 56:13Speaker 1: will do it. All I do is give you $ 5
- 56:14Speaker 1: a month. I'll do it. I won't. Okay, um... I'm
