Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hi, everyone, Welcome back to Vanity Farah. I am your host,
- 0:07Speaker 1: Chris Farah. And as one ninety day spinoff ends, another
- 0:16Speaker 1: ninety day spinoff and or regular ninety day will come
- 0:19Speaker 1: and that is the circle of life. And we're in
- 0:22Speaker 1: the middle of spring, so that makes sense. And were
- 0:26Speaker 1: talking about ninety day this Single Life. This is season five,
- 0:30Speaker 1: episode fourteen, act of making it official. Certainly we are
- 0:36Speaker 1: going to head right into the tell all after this,
- 0:40Speaker 1: hosted by the Ross Matthews, so we get a little
- 0:44Speaker 1: pin on all the stories as they come to an end.
- 0:47Speaker 1: And let's talk about it. It was an extra long episode.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I mean they really had to pack it in an
- 0:53Speaker 1: extra long Single Life with all of the fixens. Honey,
- 0:57Speaker 1: it's the jerk chicken, it's the jacouterie appetizer, honey, and
- 1:01Speaker 1: the dessert crystals, you know what I'm talking about, and
- 1:05Speaker 1: a pouting Sophie. Let's start with Sophie and Liz and
- 1:10Speaker 1: you know also Pedro and Julia I guess, and you
- 1:13Speaker 1: know all the friends. So we start. Sophie is applying
- 1:17Speaker 1: a spray kind of hair product, maybe a wave spray
- 1:21Speaker 1: onto her hair. And I really want to also say
- 1:24Speaker 1: this about Sophie. Sophie's personality in single life has really
- 1:28Speaker 1: cemented in the fact that I do not like her,
- 1:31Speaker 1: but I will give her this grace when we get
- 1:35Speaker 1: like cutbacks to like Sophie and Rob when we first
- 1:38Speaker 1: met them. I'm so happy she upgraded her hair away
- 1:42Speaker 1: from that weird blonde wig she was wearing, and like
- 1:46Speaker 1: what she was doing to the hair that she has now,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm sure there's extensions in but they blend really perfectly.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And she's using her natural hair, which is like curly,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and I think it looks really really good. So there
- 1:58Speaker 1: is something nice that I said it I think you did. Okay,
- 2:02Speaker 1: so we are we obviously she is doing her hair
- 2:07Speaker 1: like I said, She's in a pink Gucci print bikini.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It's cute. And she's really upset about the way things
- 2:14Speaker 1: end with Pedro and it's the last day and basically
- 2:18Speaker 1: she's like, I've texted him, he won't text back, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: she's like really upset by this. And that's confusing for
- 2:24Speaker 1: us because we don't understand why she would be, or
- 2:26Speaker 1: at least I don't, because she made a choice and
- 2:34Speaker 1: seems to not think there would be any repercussions for it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: She doesn't seem to like tether her action to the consequence,
- 2:44Speaker 1: which is that she disrespected him and he's like a
- 2:49Speaker 1: machi'sim guy and he is not going to be happy
- 2:53Speaker 1: that you went on a date with someone and kissed
- 2:55Speaker 1: them when you were there to hang out with him,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and you guys had been like flirting and sort of dating.
- 3:02Speaker 1: She could be like, we're not in a relationship, sure,
- 3:04Speaker 1: but you're still like seeing that person. I mean, you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: not to just pull out a Wayne. I guess labels
- 3:13Speaker 1: are trying to define where two people are in I mean,
- 3:19Speaker 1: for lack of a better word, a relationship or the
- 3:21Speaker 1: space between them. Trying to like define the space that
- 3:25Speaker 1: they are in and between them is difficult. Right from
- 3:29Speaker 1: seeing or dating or hooking up or talking to It's
- 3:33Speaker 1: like it's awkward because you don't want to say this
- 3:36Speaker 1: person's my boyfriend and girlfriend, but like wherein you guys
- 3:41Speaker 1: are heading towards that way or you both have the
- 3:44Speaker 1: intention to get to know each other in a way
- 3:47Speaker 1: that is respectful, and you're also on TV and you
- 3:53Speaker 1: know you're meeting that person's parents. It sort of means
- 3:56Speaker 1: that your focus should be on whether this one person
- 4:01Speaker 1: is right for me to like label in some way.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But I mean, you know, the kids are going to
- 4:06Speaker 1: do what the kids are going to do, and you
- 4:08Speaker 1: know Wayne's gonna do what he's gonna do, and you
- 4:10Speaker 1: know he's no kid. But again talking about Sophie and Liz.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So it is the last day for them, and so
- 4:15Speaker 1: the girls meeting Liz and Julia come over to Sophie's apartment,
- 4:19Speaker 1: sorry hotel room, and they drink champagne. At one point,
- 4:22Speaker 1: I'm like, is Julia drinking champagne? It's a little confusing. Julia, though,
- 4:27Speaker 1: has a bucket hat and it's very Aviva coded, it's
- 4:30Speaker 1: very Why two coded, and she has like a neon
- 4:33Speaker 1: green little set. She looks really really cute. Good for her.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So the pool of the resort is going to have
- 4:40Speaker 1: a phone party, and it's not what I thought was
- 4:44Speaker 1: going to happen, because you know, I already told you
- 4:47Speaker 1: I went to a phone party and it was like
- 4:49Speaker 1: a dry phone party, like it was just a foam
- 4:51Speaker 1: It was like a massive foam party on a dance
- 4:54Speaker 1: floor where there was actual phone. But this pool party
- 4:58Speaker 1: is just they put some down this show. I guess.
- 5:02Speaker 1: In the pool, there's like barely any bubbles. What happens
- 5:07Speaker 1: after this? Do they drain the pool or so to
- 5:11Speaker 1: just be in the pool? I guess, yeah, right, I mean,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I don't know pools. You really think about what happens
- 5:16Speaker 1: in pools, which is just a bunch of like suntan
- 5:19Speaker 1: lotion and a bunch of pea and whatever else is
- 5:21Speaker 1: on people just swirling around. It's quite gross, but you know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I'll get in one, I guess. Sophie again is poudy
- 5:31Speaker 1: mcpouts a lot. She is just so upset that Pedro
- 5:34Speaker 1: isn't paying attention to her, and it's the last day
- 5:37Speaker 1: and she's like wildly annoyed that he's not coming to
- 5:41Speaker 1: the pool party, also probably not paying attention, like not
- 5:44Speaker 1: like wanting to be with her. She really seems like
- 5:46Speaker 1: upset by this. Bia however, comes who is obsessed with Liz,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and he comes into the pool party and then you know,
- 5:56Speaker 1: Sophie's like, have you talked to your friend? Is he coming?
- 5:59Speaker 1: And you know, he's like no, and she's like why
- 6:02Speaker 1: and he's like, because you went on a date with
- 6:06Speaker 1: another guy and kissed him. And then Sophie starts to
- 6:12Speaker 1: take the stand like well, I mean he won't even
- 6:15Speaker 1: tell me a fuck off. He won't even tell me
- 6:17Speaker 1: that he's over it. And it's like, girl, we watched
- 6:20Speaker 1: him get up and leave and be like I'm over
- 6:22Speaker 1: it and leave, Like I don't understand why that action
- 6:25Speaker 1: alone doesn't some men in your head. No, I mean,
- 6:31Speaker 1: of all of the situation, I'm on Pedro's side, and
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm really happy for him the way that this all
- 6:35Speaker 1: works out, because she is someone who obviously didn't want
- 6:43Speaker 1: him but really wants him to want her so she
- 6:48Speaker 1: can just feel good about herself. And you know, it's
- 6:52Speaker 1: a thing that happens and it's it's you know, like
- 6:57Speaker 1: I said, disrespectful, it's super weird, it's super like narcissistic behavior.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It's like it really goes to show how much validation
- 7:06Speaker 1: she needs and like maybe the insecurity that she has.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And at the same time, I'm hoping that he learns
- 7:12Speaker 1: a lesson, and the lesson is, like, you know, if
- 7:15Speaker 1: you want to go for someone like Sophie, you are
- 7:21Speaker 1: going to pay the consequences. And the consequences are she's
- 7:25Speaker 1: going to play mind games because she is insecure because
- 7:30Speaker 1: you can see that this person has tried to change
- 7:32Speaker 1: every part of her. Maybe maybe that like gives you
- 7:35Speaker 1: a clue that this person's mental game is not intentional
- 7:39Speaker 1: about relationships and more intentional about making herself into the
- 7:43Speaker 1: Kardashianist Kardashian of Kardashian Land, you know, God bless. So
- 7:50Speaker 1: at this point, they're in the pool and Julie is like, well,
- 7:55Speaker 1: he might still have texted you, So let's get out
- 7:57Speaker 1: of the pool and you can check your phone. And
- 7:59Speaker 1: at this point I was so upset. I was like,
- 8:01Speaker 1: he better not have texted her, and also this is
- 8:03Speaker 1: horrible writing if he does. And so she gets out
- 8:06Speaker 1: of the pool and he hasn't texted her, but he
- 8:08Speaker 1: is online because you can tell on WhatsApp. And so
- 8:11Speaker 1: Julie just takes the phone and calls him facetimes and
- 8:13Speaker 1: he declines right away. Oh that is cold. I loved it,
- 8:19Speaker 1: and I was also just, yeah, really happy that he
- 8:21Speaker 1: didn't just suddenly pick up and was like, okay, I'll come.
- 8:25Speaker 1: We cut to him he's packing and leaving, honey. He's like,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I have a lot of dignity, and I was like good.
- 8:32Speaker 1: He's like I can she really broke my heart, this Sophie.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But I went through a divorce. So this is just
- 8:36Speaker 1: a little rock in the road. Yeah, he stands up
- 8:41Speaker 1: for himself. He drew a line. I don't understand quite
- 8:44Speaker 1: if he was gonna be okay if she went on
- 8:46Speaker 1: a date and just the fact that she kissed another
- 8:48Speaker 1: guy was the you know, Nail macoffin. But I want me,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I want you. I want everyone to put a little
- 8:59Speaker 1: pedro in your pocket. So if someone is fucking around
- 9:02Speaker 1: with you and you're single and is trying to make
- 9:05Speaker 1: you jealous, and it's not giving you what you deserve,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and you know how much you know you like someone
- 9:11Speaker 1: and this person is making it unclear or awkward for you,
- 9:14Speaker 1: get the fuck out. Get out, because it's never going
- 9:19Speaker 1: to be good. If she's going to do that to you, now,
- 9:22Speaker 1: she's going to always have her eye out for someone else.
- 9:27Speaker 1: It's I mean, she's like Sophie kind of goes back
- 9:31Speaker 1: and forth and being like, well, I guess you know,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I shouldn't have gone on a date with him, But
- 9:35Speaker 1: he should have listened to me when I said I
- 9:37Speaker 1: didn't want to be in a relationship. And it's like, well,
- 9:39Speaker 1: then listen to him when he says he doesn't want
- 9:41Speaker 1: to talk to you. He got up and left. I mean,
- 9:42Speaker 1: you should just listen to him. It's so confusing that
- 9:46Speaker 1: she's so confused, Like it's baffling to me that she's like,
- 9:53Speaker 1: he's so emotionally immature. No, he very much was open
- 9:58Speaker 1: and honest with his feeling. You said you wanted to
- 10:03Speaker 1: like see how things went, and then in his home,
- 10:07Speaker 1: like homeland, you just picked up your phone and scrolled
- 10:11Speaker 1: and met some dude who didn't want anything to do
- 10:13Speaker 1: with you, and then you felt bad about that, try
- 10:17Speaker 1: to get back with him, told him, and he was like, nah,
- 10:20Speaker 1: hell no, I mean it seems pretty fucking cut and dry.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He realized that you play games, and he was like,
- 10:26Speaker 1: I don't want to be fuck around. I'm just so
- 10:30Speaker 1: happy for him, and like, you know, yeah, Sophie's personality
- 10:33Speaker 1: really sucks, Like it's gross. We cut to Liz. She's packing,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and Liz uses cubes when she's packing, and she looks
- 10:40Speaker 1: like she's organized. I mean, at one point, Liz is
- 10:44Speaker 1: folding clothes to go in her suitcase. I'm like, I
- 10:46Speaker 1: have never folded clothes as tight as you folding these
- 10:50Speaker 1: clothes right now, Like I wish I could fold sheets
- 10:54Speaker 1: and towels and shirts, like how other people do I mean,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you know, I mean tight and small? I mean like,
- 11:00Speaker 1: what did you work at the gap? How do you
- 11:01Speaker 1: do that? For some reason, I don't know if it's
- 11:04Speaker 1: like my floppy, big ass hands, but I can't fold,
- 11:07Speaker 1: for shit, all my footed sheets look crazy, you know.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Fia comes over and he says he hasn't packed yet.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So this is what's confusing. Also to me, I didn't
- 11:19Speaker 1: realize until this very last episode that Pedro and Via
- 11:22Speaker 1: were staying at this resort. Like I thought Pedro was
- 11:25Speaker 1: staying I don't know, at his mom's house or like
- 11:29Speaker 1: at a property that like an apartment that he owns like,
- 11:32Speaker 1: but he was staying at the resort as these ladies were,
- 11:35Speaker 1: and so was Via. Like Via lives here, I don't know,
- 11:40Speaker 1: they live on different parts of the island. I mean
- 11:42Speaker 1: obviously I feel like production was paying for this. I
- 11:44Speaker 1: don't quite understand, like what, you know, what's happening? Why
- 11:48Speaker 1: is he packing? Where does he live? You know? Okay,
- 11:52Speaker 1: So she sits down with him and she says, you know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: long term just isn't in the cards for me, and
- 12:03Speaker 1: she sort of blames which you know, I'm not saying
- 12:06Speaker 1: it's bad that she blames you know, her sickness, which
- 12:08Speaker 1: is cancer. She also had told him that she's like
- 12:11Speaker 1: in a relay lae with someone else. She never says
- 12:13Speaker 1: that's the reason why she doesn't want to be with
- 12:15Speaker 1: that guy, but I'm pretty sure she's engaged to that
- 12:18Speaker 1: guy now. So I also want to be like, what
- 12:21Speaker 1: does that guy think of like watching you hook up
- 12:23Speaker 1: in the dr anyway? Also, I mean, like V is
- 12:25Speaker 1: so hot. I don't know. She's like, I just want
- 12:28Speaker 1: I get it, Like I have a child and I
- 12:31Speaker 1: want someone that's going to be there like night and
- 12:32Speaker 1: day for me and the kid, and like you know
- 12:34Speaker 1: when I have to go to doctor's appointments, and yeah,
- 12:39Speaker 1: you can't do that with a long term relay. I
- 12:42Speaker 1: wonder if he was like, yeah, I would move there,
- 12:44Speaker 1: then I would be on ninety apance. Have you heard
- 12:46Speaker 1: of the show? You know? I'm not quite sure. So
- 12:50Speaker 1: they cry. It's really really sweet. He's like, don't blame yourself.
- 12:53Speaker 1: She's like I do, and he's and then she's like,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I have to say that meeting you changed me. And
- 12:58Speaker 1: he is comforted by that fact and is happy that
- 13:01Speaker 1: she shared it, and they seem to have like a
- 13:04Speaker 1: genuine connection, which is like a beautiful thing to watch
- 13:08Speaker 1: and love is hard. So it feels like Liz had
- 13:11Speaker 1: the only genuine storyline on single Life, like hers is
- 13:17Speaker 1: the only one. I can be like, yeah, that I
- 13:19Speaker 1: think that happened. Everyone else is like what, anyway, we'll
- 13:23Speaker 1: get into it. So Via ends up carrying her purse,
- 13:29Speaker 1: her Stanley, and her suitcases out that Stanley Honey makes
- 13:32Speaker 1: it through the whole vacation. I'm as happy for her
- 13:34Speaker 1: that she kept that Stanley because I feel like if
- 13:37Speaker 1: I brought my own water bottle like through the airport
- 13:40Speaker 1: to a resort, like day three at the resort, this
- 13:43Speaker 1: Stanley would be gone. I would have left it by
- 13:44Speaker 1: a pool chair or at a bar when I was
- 13:47Speaker 1: trying to drink water but also throwing back my ties,
- 13:49Speaker 1: and it would just like have left me very early
- 13:51Speaker 1: on in my life, like have to put an Apple
- 13:53Speaker 1: tag on it. But she again is an organized gal.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Like I saw the way that she packed to go home.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I mean that packing was top tier. It was top tier.
- 14:05Speaker 1: So Liz meets up with Liz. Sorry, Yeah. Liz meets
- 14:09Speaker 1: up with Julia and Sophie, and she tells Julia in
- 14:12Speaker 1: front of you that they are parting ways, and Julia's
- 14:17Speaker 1: like what, I what, and she has to be like,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'm sorry, we're not We're just friends now, not going
- 14:23Speaker 1: to be you know, lovers, and Julia gets that. So
- 14:27Speaker 1: then Sophie is so quick just She's like, get me
- 14:30Speaker 1: the fuck out of here. She climbs into a car.
- 14:33Speaker 1: She's again pouting, pouting, pouting, I mean so upset that
- 14:37Speaker 1: like no guy is giving her any sort of reaction
- 14:39Speaker 1: in of course, like Liz leaves with like a man
- 14:42Speaker 1: that's in love with her, which is what Sophie wanted
- 14:45Speaker 1: to leave the DR with. Sophie wanted to leave the
- 14:47Speaker 1: DR with many men's in love with her, and what
- 14:50Speaker 1: she got was no one being in her, not the
- 14:54Speaker 1: guy that she tried to, like, you know, cheat on
- 14:56Speaker 1: Pedro with, and definitely not Pedro. So Julia's like, what
- 15:03Speaker 1: did you guys learn on this trip, like real mom style,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and Sophie's like nothing. I wish I hope that I
- 15:10Speaker 1: want Ross to ask her in the tell all watching
- 15:14Speaker 1: her behavior if she in fact learned something, because truly,
- 15:21Speaker 1: if she was talking to a guy that she liked
- 15:24Speaker 1: and then the guy was like let me go meet Claire.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Your mom and Claire had clared it up and she
- 15:31Speaker 1: was like, Okay, well, I know that my mom's crazy,
- 15:33Speaker 1: which she is, but I still like you. And if
- 15:37Speaker 1: Batman went on a date in her hometown with some
- 15:39Speaker 1: other girl and kissed her, she would be livid, livid.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So I don't understand why she doesn't understand the double standard.
- 15:48Speaker 1: She really confuses me. Again. Her hair looks good. I'll
- 15:50Speaker 1: give her that. Let's keep it moving, shall we. We're
- 15:56Speaker 1: going to move on to Colt and Courtney. So we
- 16:01Speaker 1: get a horrible shot of him sunbathing. I mean where
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm like, you're doing this for the camera. There's no
- 16:07Speaker 1: way that the position of him is like discussing he
- 16:11Speaker 1: really is I'm going to go out on a limb.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I think he's like an exhibitionist. He's only too happy
- 16:18Speaker 1: to be almost naked on camera. And whether the producers
- 16:23Speaker 1: are like yeah, keep showing that bod, like make sure
- 16:26Speaker 1: to pick those legs up in the air so we
- 16:27Speaker 1: can really get a good crop shot or whatnot, it's
- 16:30Speaker 1: so confusing to me. Now. Courtney, of course, is over
- 16:35Speaker 1: at her boyfriend Phil's, and Phil is for some reason
- 16:39Speaker 1: letting cold stay there, which makes no goddamn sense, but
- 16:43Speaker 1: we're supposed to believe all of this hook line and sinker,
- 16:45Speaker 1: and it's hard. It's a hard pill to swallow. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: basically Phil and Courtney have decided that now that he
- 16:54Speaker 1: can walk for cold to get the f out, and
- 16:56Speaker 1: so Courtney decides to make him like a last Supper.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And the Last Supper is truly like a depressing charcuterie board.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Like it has rich ritz crackers, It has like weird salami,
- 17:11Speaker 1: like not the good kind of salami, like Hormel. It
- 17:14Speaker 1: has grapes like not on the grape stem where it's
- 17:18Speaker 1: still presentable. It's just picked off and like thrown about.
- 17:21Speaker 1: There's just olives in the plastic container they came in.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I mean, the cheese looks like cheddar uh, Like you know,
- 17:27Speaker 1: it's a bargain basement charcouteri plate. She comes out, she's like,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I made this. We're like, we we know, it's obvious.
- 17:37Speaker 1: It really looks like the whole thing was like a
- 17:40Speaker 1: lunchable that she just peeled the film back and then
- 17:43Speaker 1: just dumped it on a plate. Remember when charcouterie boards,
- 17:48Speaker 1: like during COVID were like the biggest thing, like everyone
- 17:51Speaker 1: was doing snack kind of charcouteri plates and or charcuterie plates.
- 17:57Speaker 1: You know when everyone was like doing like multi layers
- 17:59Speaker 1: and frosted grapes and you know the salami roses. Remember that. Anyway,
- 18:10Speaker 1: during this last supper, they're like, well, what are your plans?
- 18:14Speaker 1: And you know, cold He's like, I knew this day
- 18:15Speaker 1: would come, and it's like yeah, and then he's like
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure. He's like, well, you you know,
- 18:20Speaker 1: you start thinking about it. Yeah, a couple of days, buddy,
- 18:26Speaker 1: couple of days, and you know, Courtney at the end
- 18:30Speaker 1: of this is like, I haven't talked to him. I
- 18:32Speaker 1: have no idea where he went to Canada or to Brazil.
- 18:34Speaker 1: For some reason, Canada wasn't an option earlier, which makes
- 18:37Speaker 1: such sense, and he for sure went back to Brazil.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And it's like, I want to really hear and I
- 18:42Speaker 1: don't understand why they didn't give us the conversation or
- 18:45Speaker 1: conversations between Debbie and Colti where he was like, mom,
- 18:51Speaker 1: can I come live with you?
- 18:52Speaker 2: And Debbie was like, now, no, you're going to ruin
- 18:57Speaker 2: this relation, you know, like, no, I've got it now
- 19:01Speaker 2: for you, you know, because she has, but also she
- 19:05Speaker 2: hasn't done enough for him by telling him he's no
- 19:07Speaker 2: good and needs to get his shit together.
- 19:10Speaker 1: His treatment of women is to be studied and he's
- 19:16Speaker 1: weird and to have the wherewithal that he knows he's
- 19:19Speaker 1: not shit, but then also doesn't seem to want to change.
- 19:23Speaker 1: It's almost like he's addicted to being shitty to women.
- 19:29Speaker 1: The producers are like, well, when you go to Brazil,
- 19:31Speaker 1: are you gonna ship up and like act right for her?
- 19:33Speaker 1: And he's like, I mean no. His demeanor is so baffling.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's bizarre. He's a bizarre man, for sure. He he
- 19:55Speaker 1: has awareness, and he also has absolutely no fording tude,
- 20:03Speaker 1: because I can't tell if it's just that he doesn't
- 20:05Speaker 1: believe in himself to make a change at all, or
- 20:08Speaker 1: if he's just like, I just want to do what
- 20:10Speaker 1: I want to do, which is, you know, try and
- 20:14Speaker 1: get as many women as possible. It's kind of like
- 20:16Speaker 1: being like Sophie, except Sophie doesn't have the awareness. Sophie
- 20:21Speaker 1: also wants right attention from at this point the opposite sex,
- 20:26Speaker 1: and so does Colt in some way, so anyway, and
- 20:29Speaker 1: he wants because Colt also wants to feel good in
- 20:32Speaker 1: his relationships. He wants to feel like he's the man,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you know, like he wants to feel like he's a
- 20:38Speaker 1: big shot. And the problem is, you know, he's not.
- 20:42Speaker 1: He's not. And so his only way to do that
- 20:45Speaker 1: now is to date like super young women from like
- 20:47Speaker 1: different countries, which is you know, passport barrowie, which is
- 20:51Speaker 1: a lot is what most of the men on here do.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Oh god, Okay. So next scene, Phil court Or at
- 21:01Speaker 1: a restaurant and on the way there they had talked
- 21:06Speaker 1: about the fact that they had met at a bar,
- 21:09Speaker 1: and I'm like, I wish we saw this scene and
- 21:11Speaker 1: that they had talked and that he'd never asked for
- 21:13Speaker 1: her number, and then he felt bad about that. So
- 21:15Speaker 1: when she left, he talked to the bartender, whose name
- 21:18Speaker 1: is Liz. I'm like, thank you for giving that name.
- 21:21Speaker 1: And the bartender was like, oh, Courtney, she comes in Fridays,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and so we kept coming back and it took six
- 21:25Speaker 1: months as she came. She was there one Friday. So
- 21:29Speaker 1: at the restaurant, Courtney orders more chikouterie. I don't know
- 21:34Speaker 1: what that's fun. I mean, she loves fucking cheese, honey,
- 21:37Speaker 1: she loves cheese and salami. Give her some cheese, Give
- 21:39Speaker 1: her some salami. It's a Keto special, honey. He orders oysters,
- 21:45Speaker 1: and when the oysters come, she's like, suck it, which
- 21:50Speaker 1: makes my face melt off. And then she's like, what
- 21:53Speaker 1: does it taste like? And he's like oysters and I'm like,
- 21:55Speaker 1: oh my god, can you imagine if this is for
- 21:57Speaker 1: the rest of your life? And then he's like, what,
- 22:00Speaker 1: you've never tasted oyster? She's like, I'm allergic to seafood
- 22:04Speaker 1: and he didn't know that because it's been only three months.
- 22:08Speaker 1: He's like, what other things do I not know about you?
- 22:11Speaker 1: You know what? Perfect timing for me to get down
- 22:14Speaker 1: on one knee and ask you to marry me, which
- 22:18Speaker 1: is the fucking Nana's Could you imagine having just learned,
- 22:22Speaker 1: first of all three months and having just learned like,
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know, a major thing about your loved one, which
- 22:28Speaker 1: is like you know, they're allergic to seafood, and then
- 22:30Speaker 1: not realize in that moment there's still much more to
- 22:33Speaker 1: learn about this person, and you know, the journey that
- 22:35Speaker 1: you're on of whatever seeing or doating this person. He
- 22:38Speaker 1: decides to like be like, I need to know everything
- 22:42Speaker 1: else as my fiance soon, so like, I'm just going
- 22:45Speaker 1: to put that label on you. He's the antithesis of
- 22:47Speaker 1: other people. He's like please, He gets down on one
- 22:50Speaker 1: knee gives her a ring. The ring is beautiful, it's
- 22:54Speaker 1: a pretty ring. And she is like, yes, absolutely, yes,
- 23:00Speaker 1: we just have a lot of sex. You know, you
- 23:03Speaker 1: always have it up, you know, I don't know if
- 23:06Speaker 1: it's the twelfth pack of soda you drink a day, like,
- 23:09Speaker 1: oh my god, he do. It's a twelve pack of
- 23:10Speaker 1: soda a day. Like even then she's drinking champagne. He's
- 23:15Speaker 1: drinking like coke? Is he like an ex Mormon? He
- 23:19Speaker 1: can't wait to get all the soda in. So then
- 23:21Speaker 1: she cries because she has to. Like she sits there
- 23:23Speaker 1: and recounts the six months of her last life. And
- 23:26Speaker 1: she had gone on for love. She had met cold
- 23:28Speaker 1: he and she had brought him to the parents' house.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Then he cheated on her, and then she met this
- 23:34Speaker 1: guy and then you know, now she's gonna get married,
- 23:35Speaker 1: and she's always wanted to get married. Blah blah blah
- 23:37Speaker 1: blah blah. I'm like, well, book yourself, honey. The Pearl
- 23:40Speaker 1: option Atlinefeldts. Then because let's see that dress. Oh god,
- 23:46Speaker 1: by the way, the thing about her is that, like
- 23:49Speaker 1: there have been us weekly articles and things of her
- 23:52Speaker 1: and her man, and the man that she's with doesn't
- 23:55Speaker 1: look like Phil, so it already looks like she's said,
- 24:00Speaker 1: know to Phil, he's out of her life, and she's
- 24:02Speaker 1: with a new, older man that's also kind of white
- 24:06Speaker 1: and blonde looking. I'm not quite sure exactly what happens,
- 24:09Speaker 1: and Ross's gonna get to the bath bottom of it.
- 24:11Speaker 1: But yeah, Cortney is a confusing one, even like her
- 24:22Speaker 1: cadence when she talks is so confusing. She can be
- 24:26Speaker 1: so dry and then she's like like when he proposes,
- 24:29Speaker 1: she's like, oh my god, I can't I'm gonna cry,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and then she starts crying. But she's never like she
- 24:36Speaker 1: just starts crying. It's like there's a I don't know
- 24:41Speaker 1: if she like I wonder what medication she's on. She
- 24:48Speaker 1: seems to be like dabbling in reality at all times,
- 24:52Speaker 1: but not fully in it, like not fully invested in
- 24:55Speaker 1: her body in the moment. She seems to be like
- 24:58Speaker 1: peeking at it from like a bird's nest up high.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Does that make sense. Anyway,
- 25:05Speaker 1: Let's move on to Vanya and Tony. So we are
- 25:10Speaker 1: in the thick of Vanya meeting Tony's parents, and we
- 25:14Speaker 1: like had stopped and have not moved on from her.
- 25:18Speaker 1: From Tony's mom be like, will you go to church?
- 25:22Speaker 1: And Vanya being like no, no, honey. He Tony is
- 25:27Speaker 1: into the fact that I'm like a carefree wild gal
- 25:31Speaker 1: and I say no church in the wild you know
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm talking about Don't worry. It's not the only song
- 25:38Speaker 1: I'll sing. But remember that song. Remember when jay Z
- 25:41Speaker 1: and Kanye were a thing. Wow, times have obviously changed.
- 25:47Speaker 1: So the parents leave and Vanya like goes to the
- 25:52Speaker 1: door to say goodbye to Tony's parents in a way
- 25:55Speaker 1: that's kind of like she also has ownership of the house.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm always caught miscent of people who don't live in
- 26:02Speaker 1: a home that like pretend they are the host of
- 26:07Speaker 1: that home four family members of the homeowner. Does that
- 26:12Speaker 1: make sense? I one time have this. I have I
- 26:16Speaker 1: have like a cousin who was dating someone who had
- 26:20Speaker 1: my other cousins come to her house, and it was
- 26:23Speaker 1: like a thing where the guy that this my cousin
- 26:27Speaker 1: one was dating was like, well, thank you guys so
- 26:30Speaker 1: much for coming over. We really appreciate it. And then
- 26:32Speaker 1: my other cousin being like, what the fuck are you
- 26:34Speaker 1: at my cousin's house? You're happy? This is my I mean,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I've been here my whole life. You know what I'm saying? What?
- 26:39Speaker 1: I don't know what you think you're doing. It's like, yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: it must be like yeah, there's there's something awkward about it.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I don't know, Like what, yeah, do you know what
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm saying? Why is she at the door being like,
- 26:50Speaker 1: thank you guys so much for coming That's their son's house.
- 26:54Speaker 1: They've been there more times than you, for longer periods
- 26:57Speaker 1: of time, over years than you.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Like.
- 26:59Speaker 1: You know, anyway, I think it's weird. So then Vannie's like,
- 27:04Speaker 1: what they think of me? And we had seen what
- 27:07Speaker 1: they thought of her, which is basically that the mom
- 27:10Speaker 1: was like, I God doesn't like her, and God's on
- 27:13Speaker 1: my side if it works out, fine, but Rod's gonna
- 27:18Speaker 1: see what God wants, and I don't think God wants
- 27:20Speaker 1: a non God loving person to be with my God
- 27:23Speaker 1: fearing son. You know that's her vibe, so we kind
- 27:26Speaker 1: of know what it means. But Tony's like, well, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: think it's really great, and I think they approved of you.
- 27:31Speaker 1: And the reason why I know that is because they
- 27:33Speaker 1: ask you questions and I'm like, yeah, the question was
- 27:44Speaker 1: would you go to church with me? And the answer
- 27:47Speaker 1: was no. I mean, which is Vanya's choice. I'm not
- 27:50Speaker 1: saying that Vanya should have said yes, but you know
- 27:54Speaker 1: therein lies the rub. Yeah, So he knows that this
- 28:03Speaker 1: was a weird moment for her, and so he's like,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you know what, I have a little present for you.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I want to give you something as a symbol of
- 28:11Speaker 1: the acceptance my parents told me through only mentally because
- 28:19Speaker 1: they didn't say it that they like you. So he
- 28:21Speaker 1: gets out a white box and in the white box
- 28:26Speaker 1: is a heart shaped box. She eyes me like a
- 28:31Speaker 1: pieces when I'm we very Nirvana coated. Those are the
- 28:36Speaker 1: two songs for you. I'll try not to sing it again,
- 28:39Speaker 1: but have you heard the Amber Mark version of that song?
- 28:41Speaker 1: It's so good. So anyway, it's a heart shaped box,
- 28:45Speaker 1: like I said, And then she opens it and it
- 28:47Speaker 1: has like an led light that comes shoots out of
- 28:50Speaker 1: the box, which is so weird because they're in a
- 28:53Speaker 1: fully lit room. I don't quite understand, like, first of
- 28:57Speaker 1: all that box has to be for a diamond because
- 29:00Speaker 1: it's going to show all the brilliance the diamond. At
- 29:03Speaker 1: the same time, if you know there's a weird ass light,
- 29:05Speaker 1: then like turn down the lights whatever, God bless, but
- 29:07Speaker 1: they can't they're filming. So in the box is a key.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's a key to his ugly ass home. I mean
- 29:16Speaker 1: it's ugly, like there's butter yellow walls, which we're going
- 29:19Speaker 1: to see again. It's like such a weird home with
- 29:21Speaker 1: a bunch of nineties furniture and she's like, oh, oh okay.
- 29:28Speaker 1: He's like, I want you to move in. She's like
- 29:32Speaker 1: in her confessionals, I thought it was gonna be a ring,
- 29:35Speaker 1: and I'll be honest, I didn't think it was going
- 29:36Speaker 1: to be a ring, but I didn't think it was
- 29:38Speaker 1: going to be like something jewelry wise, Like I did
- 29:40Speaker 1: think that maybe it was going to be like a
- 29:41Speaker 1: very pretty tennis bracelet or some sort of heart shaped
- 29:44Speaker 1: necklace or something to be like a symbol. Because if
- 29:47Speaker 1: someone says they want to give me a symbol of acceptance,
- 29:51Speaker 1: I'm not going to automatically think that it's like a
- 29:53Speaker 1: ring to be proposed. I am going to think that
- 29:55Speaker 1: if it's a jewelry box, there will be jewelry inside.
- 29:58Speaker 1: And even if he wanted to get her a ring,
- 30:00Speaker 1: he should have absolutely gave her a ring with some jewelry.
- 30:07Speaker 1: He should have bought her a tennis bracelet. I mean,
- 30:09Speaker 1: that's obviously what that had to have been, or some
- 30:11Speaker 1: sort of I don't know, do the the little weird
- 30:17Speaker 1: I don't know, Just do one of the I can't
- 30:19Speaker 1: remember of those stupid clover looking bracelets all the girls,
- 30:22Speaker 1: like I forgot the name brain Fog, you know, the
- 30:26Speaker 1: one that Chloe has. You know, I'm talking about what
- 30:29Speaker 1: a nightmare. So, as I said, she wanted a ring,
- 30:35Speaker 1: and now we're like, oh, that's what Vanya's on. Manya
- 30:37Speaker 1: wants to get like murried, you know, and he just
- 30:39Speaker 1: is like, here's the key to my house. Because I'm
- 30:41Speaker 1: a doctor, you can come over whenever. And she's like, oh, okay,
- 30:44Speaker 1: I've always wanted that kind of kitchen. But the kitchen's
- 30:46Speaker 1: right behind them. I'm like, what's so great about that kitchen?
- 30:49Speaker 1: I saw your kitchen. Your kitchen was fine. Your kitchen
- 30:51Speaker 1: was the one that you like, got peaches out and
- 30:54Speaker 1: cut peaches at Okay, So the next scene, she put
- 31:00Speaker 1: on like what looks like a Zimmerman dress and this
- 31:03Speaker 1: is probably the best off that she's worn. It's cream
- 31:06Speaker 1: with gold embroidery, very Zimmerman like, and he picks her
- 31:11Speaker 1: up in the red Ferrari. It's back, so we know,
- 31:14Speaker 1: you know, he didn't just rent it, or he rented
- 31:16Speaker 1: the same one, you tell me. And then the conversation
- 31:19Speaker 1: turns to he decided he wants to start fresh because
- 31:24Speaker 1: instead of her moving into his home, he now wants
- 31:30Speaker 1: both of them to buy a home together. And I
- 31:34Speaker 1: thought that was weird. She's like why, and then he
- 31:39Speaker 1: you know, first of all, I think this might have
- 31:41Speaker 1: been the same home that he had the like ex
- 31:43Speaker 1: wife with that was Mary for a couple of weeks.
- 31:46Speaker 1: And I want to think, like, okay, if you are
- 31:49Speaker 1: a doctor and you ask someone to move in with you,
- 31:53Speaker 1: I think it's a weird jump to be like, actually, no,
- 31:56Speaker 1: you know what, buy a home with me, Get all
- 31:58Speaker 1: your money, and let's buy a home together. She's also
- 32:01Speaker 1: weirded out by it for different reasons. She's like, I
- 32:03Speaker 1: don't want to tie finances without an engagement, which is
- 32:07Speaker 1: totally valid. It's a valid thing. I don't understand because okay,
- 32:11Speaker 1: so then we'll get into it. So they roll upon
- 32:15Speaker 1: a house. It's like a beach house. He sees the house,
- 32:17Speaker 1: he's like, wow, this house is so voluminous, and we're like,
- 32:20Speaker 1: what is this. That's what you talk to about, like
- 32:23Speaker 1: a hairdoo, that's how you describe hair or eyelashes. This
- 32:27Speaker 1: house is so volumeous. So it has a lot of
- 32:30Speaker 1: square footage. Is that what you're saying. It's a big house.
- 32:33Speaker 1: It's again butter yellow. It's weird looking, but I guess
- 32:42Speaker 1: it's by the ocean, and it's very modern. It's been refurbished.
- 32:46Speaker 1: And so they are showing around this house and she's
- 32:48Speaker 1: dying over it. She likes it a lot. It's definitely
- 32:51Speaker 1: a better looking interior than both of their homes, which
- 32:55Speaker 1: is so wildly nineties I couldn't even deal with it.
- 32:58Speaker 1: At one point though, they show the master bedroom and
- 33:02Speaker 1: it looks like the washer and dryer room is a
- 33:07Speaker 1: part of it, like for some reason, the washer and
- 33:10Speaker 1: dryer room is just right off to the side of
- 33:12Speaker 1: the bed of the master bedroom. I also thought was crazy,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Why so you can't go to bed you to hear
- 33:22Speaker 1: the the dryer on like one of the perks of
- 33:27Speaker 1: having your own washer and dry and your homes you
- 33:28Speaker 1: can wash and dry whenever they want. It's like, why
- 33:31Speaker 1: would you want to hear that right when you're sleeping?
- 33:34Speaker 1: What weird design? Also, and this is something is you know,
- 33:38Speaker 1: this other thing I'm going to complain about is rampant
- 33:41Speaker 1: not in just their home. They go through the master
- 33:44Speaker 1: bath and their bathtub is one of those like free
- 33:48Speaker 1: standing bathtubs with like you know, high sides, and I
- 33:52Speaker 1: feel like those bathtubs and you see them a lot,
- 33:56Speaker 1: are death traps. How the are you supposed to get
- 33:59Speaker 1: out of that thing? Think about it? Like, I like
- 34:02Speaker 1: a good old fashioned low ass bathtub, extra large, like
- 34:06Speaker 1: an extra wide one, you know that you can just
- 34:09Speaker 1: stand up out of and easily use your leg barely,
- 34:13Speaker 1: you know, pick up the knee, but get the hell
- 34:15Speaker 1: out of it easily. But with those high sided ones,
- 34:19Speaker 1: it's like you have to high knee your way out
- 34:22Speaker 1: and you're you know, on a slippery surface and your
- 34:25Speaker 1: foot's wet, and then you're supposed to then pick it
- 34:28Speaker 1: up and then somewhat high jump out of it. It's
- 34:32Speaker 1: so weird. Sometimes modern design is so unlivable. I can't
- 34:38Speaker 1: even stand it anyway, God bless. So they decide to
- 34:48Speaker 1: walk down to the beach. She's wearing red bottoms. At first.
- 34:51Speaker 1: She decides to walk into the sand in her red bottoms,
- 34:55Speaker 1: which is otherworldly. She decides to take them off, which
- 34:59Speaker 1: makes and she's like why did you Why do you
- 35:04Speaker 1: want to do this? And he's like, well, I have
- 35:06Speaker 1: to work forty five minutes away, so I thought it'd be,
- 35:08Speaker 1: you know, a good practical decision, and she's like, oh,
- 35:13Speaker 1: how romantic. Also, I'm not into the order of events.
- 35:18Speaker 1: She again is like, I want to move in with
- 35:21Speaker 1: someone that is my fiance. I don't want to move
- 35:24Speaker 1: in with someone at forty four that's just like some
- 35:26Speaker 1: weird dude. And he's like, well, you know, I also
- 35:30Speaker 1: think it might be good, but I'm just not ready
- 35:32Speaker 1: for that, And then in his confessionals, he's like, I
- 35:35Speaker 1: thought house hunting would distract her. And then she's like, well,
- 35:42Speaker 1: if you're not ready, she's like, he's like, he just
- 35:44Speaker 1: keeps saying he's not ready, and she's like, well, if
- 35:46Speaker 1: you're not sure that you want to marry me, then
- 35:48Speaker 1: what the fuck am I doing? And he's like well,
- 35:49Speaker 1: I never said I wasn't sure. I just said I
- 35:53Speaker 1: wasn't ready. Okay, what does that mean? You be sure
- 36:02Speaker 1: that someone is for you, but you're not ready. He
- 36:07Speaker 1: just keeps saying that he needs it to be on
- 36:09Speaker 1: his timeline, which I find to be weird and controlling,
- 36:12Speaker 1: also incredibly selfish. I think that's like a huge red flag.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I can understand if you're young and you're like, I'm
- 36:24Speaker 1: sure this person is for me, Like, I'm sure of it.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I just want to get past grad school or whatever
- 36:30Speaker 1: it is, like, I don't want to get engaged while
- 36:31Speaker 1: I have you know, tests. But he's already been married,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and he's you know, older, and she's you know, forty three.
- 36:39Speaker 1: So if you were sure that this person was, you know,
- 36:45Speaker 1: the love of your life, then it seems like at
- 36:49Speaker 1: this age you should be ready. But he's not sure.
- 36:52Speaker 1: He just lied to her. He's a weird guy. He's weird.
- 37:00Speaker 1: So at this point, she's like, I'm done with this.
- 37:01Speaker 1: I don't want to deal with this anymore, and we're
- 37:03Speaker 1: kind of like yeah, I mean yeah. She was just
- 37:08Speaker 1: so happy that he had made the initial move about
- 37:11Speaker 1: asking her to move in with her, but then because
- 37:14Speaker 1: again she had pressured him to get in a relationship
- 37:16Speaker 1: and everything, and so when he was like, move in
- 37:21Speaker 1: with me, she was like, oh, I guess that's a
- 37:22Speaker 1: sign that he's also in this relationship with me, but
- 37:25Speaker 1: he's not. He seemed to want to pacify her to
- 37:30Speaker 1: keep like a lady in his life. He's like, we've
- 37:34Speaker 1: only been dating for six months, and she's like, I've
- 37:36Speaker 1: known you for two years. We've been friends for two years.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, but part of that was with him
- 37:42Speaker 1: marrying someone else. I mean, Vanya, you know, kept saying
- 37:53Speaker 1: that she was celibate, which was not true. She just
- 37:55Speaker 1: was waiting for him to have sex with him. Celibate
- 37:57Speaker 1: kind of means that like you're not going to have sex.
- 37:59Speaker 1: She was just going through a dry spell. And I
- 38:04Speaker 1: wonder if their sex life up until this point was
- 38:07Speaker 1: like really good, because I can't imagine it was. He
- 38:12Speaker 1: sweat so much. She has had to deal with so
- 38:16Speaker 1: much wetness in between them, like their bodies, like, oh
- 38:19Speaker 1: my god, just like like little platypuses all the time.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I mean, obviously I thought it platypuses because of Gino,
- 38:27Speaker 1: but they're like seals, you know, They're like seals. I
- 38:38Speaker 1: I don't know what to say for someone who desperately
- 38:42Speaker 1: wants to be in a relationship and therefore is willing
- 38:47Speaker 1: to settle just enough with someone. I guess she could
- 38:50Speaker 1: have just kept going on with it and that was
- 38:52Speaker 1: her settling and be like, Okay, well just wait till
- 38:54Speaker 1: you're ready, and god bless she didn't. But I feel
- 38:58Speaker 1: like the reason otherwise that she didn't was because he
- 39:01Speaker 1: wasn't also doing enough in other areas, Like if he
- 39:05Speaker 1: was a really good boyfriend and sexually satisfying her and
- 39:11Speaker 1: you know, was probably willing to buy a home with
- 39:16Speaker 1: all of his money for them to live in, like
- 39:19Speaker 1: maybe she would be like, oh, you know, I'm going
- 39:22Speaker 1: to stick around. But I think the fact that she
- 39:24Speaker 1: was bad in bed, and he sweats so much and
- 39:27Speaker 1: he seems to be cheap, like it's a like it's
- 39:30Speaker 1: sort of a fucked up, weird, cheap maneuver to ask
- 39:34Speaker 1: someone to move in with you and then turn around
- 39:36Speaker 1: and ask her to go all in on a home
- 39:40Speaker 1: with him, because it feels like he wasn't able to
- 39:46Speaker 1: buy a new home without her money. Because if he
- 39:52Speaker 1: isn't ready to get married to someone, why the hell
- 39:56Speaker 1: would you. But I don't get it. Why would you
- 39:57Speaker 1: buy a home with someone? Then what happened if you
- 40:00Speaker 1: break up? Like you already had this huge ass asset
- 40:06Speaker 1: would you expect would you then buy her out of
- 40:09Speaker 1: the home? Like was there something written in the contract?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Like I don't know. I think that's so weird too,
- 40:15Speaker 1: all right, my babes, God we still have this is
- 40:19Speaker 1: This was such a long episode, Like and by the way,
- 40:23Speaker 1: when it started, I was like, it's an two hours.
- 40:26Speaker 1: It was two hours. They had to wrap a lot
- 40:30Speaker 1: of things up. And at the same time, like, I'm
- 40:32Speaker 1: still surprised about the things they didn't give us, Like
- 40:37Speaker 1: why didn't we ever see Courtney being single, like going
- 40:40Speaker 1: on dates or going to the bar that she always
- 40:42Speaker 1: goes on, you know, at like on Fridays. We never
- 40:46Speaker 1: saw Courtney like trying to date or trying not like
- 40:49Speaker 1: you know, speed match or going on And this is
- 40:53Speaker 1: what I would love. I think that with kim Balie
- 40:57Speaker 1: and Courtney and you know, I mean obviously they had
- 41:00Speaker 1: this whole dr thing with like Sophie and Liz, But
- 41:04Speaker 1: why don't they just set up a bunch of like
- 41:07Speaker 1: dates for them and film at least five dates where
- 41:10Speaker 1: we get to really see them struggle with like new dates,
- 41:14Speaker 1: maybe second dates that seems more of a single life.
- 41:19Speaker 1: But like Courtney obviously was with Quote for most of it,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and then we just had to meet Phil and things
- 41:26Speaker 1: were already like in the heat of things, it does
- 41:32Speaker 1: feel like the schedule of filming for Single Life is
- 41:35Speaker 1: like one day every two months, and for Courtney specifically,
- 41:41Speaker 1: they like canceled one day of shooting and they hadn't
- 41:45Speaker 1: come back three months later. You know what I'm saying. Okay,
- 41:51Speaker 1: so now let's move to jolly old England. Honey. It's England, Honey.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Have you heard of it? Hello, Gabner, don't worry and
- 42:00Speaker 1: say it. This time, I had this great comment from
- 42:03Speaker 1: someone who was like, I'm from London, yes, yes, yes,
- 42:06Speaker 1: and my boyfriend is from the Midlands, which I don't
- 42:09Speaker 1: quite know what Midland's me and I got to look
- 42:10Speaker 1: it up and that person her boyfriend says ello Gavna
- 42:14Speaker 1: all the time. Okay. So Kimale is meeting Wayne's daughters
- 42:22Speaker 1: Aisha and Italia, and Kimberly says, oh, you guys are
- 42:26Speaker 1: so cute and tiny. And it's always kind of weird
- 42:30Speaker 1: when people like call out people's physical traits right away. Anyway,
- 42:39Speaker 1: So Wayne is like, you, guys, I'm going to introduce
- 42:42Speaker 1: you to something new. It was blacksmithing, it was you know,
- 42:45Speaker 1: steam training, and now we're going to play Skittles. You guys,
- 42:48Speaker 1: I will tell you this right now. I've always been
- 42:50Speaker 1: a big fan of Skittles. Not this stupid game they play,
- 42:52Speaker 1: which is basically like, you know, chucking and bowling at
- 42:55Speaker 1: the same time, but the actual candy. I'm a candy girl.
- 42:58Speaker 1: You should know. I do love candy, and I hate
- 43:01Speaker 1: that because you know, it's not great for you, and
- 43:04Speaker 1: specifically candy has like every horrible chemical in it. Just like, yeah,
- 43:09Speaker 1: I don't I don't like cakes, I don't like donuts.
- 43:12Speaker 1: I do like cookies, but I do love candy. I
- 43:14Speaker 1: love red liquorice vines, not Twizzlers, red licorice, you know
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about. I love skittles, I love the flavor
- 43:23Speaker 1: red starbursts, and I love mic and ikes. I love fruity,
- 43:29Speaker 1: chewy gummy candy. Oh, skittles. I wish I had some
- 43:35Speaker 1: right now, regular flavor, including not green apple, but lime
- 43:40Speaker 1: green skittles. See, I'm like very particular so skittles again
- 43:47Speaker 1: is kind of like bowling, except instead of like rolling
- 43:49Speaker 1: the ball, you just like you throw it and you
- 43:52Speaker 1: have to hit the first pin and then whatever happens
- 43:53Speaker 1: like with that. Fine, So they do it, you know,
- 43:57Speaker 1: and Wayne's you know, excited to like show off that
- 43:59Speaker 1: he can do something well, and Jamal also is good
- 44:01Speaker 1: at it, and Kimberly knew that he would be. And
- 44:04Speaker 1: then Jamal kind of like blows up Kimberly spot doesn't
- 44:07Speaker 1: tell about the siblings, but it's like, yeah, you know
- 44:10Speaker 1: my mom's last last relationship. She's was fucking looney tunes
- 44:14Speaker 1: about that one, and that one was twenty years younger
- 44:16Speaker 1: than her, and Kimberly's like, shut up, just shut up,
- 44:21Speaker 1: shut up. Sorry, I thought I wasn't gonna sing again,
- 44:24Speaker 1: and then I said shut up to shut up, shut up,
- 44:27Speaker 1: and I maybe think of that song. So Wayne's like,
- 44:29Speaker 1: don't even worry about that, I've dated younger two. Jamal's like, well,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I date older and younger. And then I thought we never,
- 44:37Speaker 1: like for a single life episode and for Jamal to
- 44:39Speaker 1: be on every episode, why didn't we see just one
- 44:43Speaker 1: part of his love life? Because we only got to
- 44:46Speaker 1: see him with Veronica. I know we might see him
- 44:49Speaker 1: coming up on like Hunt for Love or something like that,
- 44:51Speaker 1: but it would have been great to set us up
- 44:54Speaker 1: by like letting us see like him on a date,
- 44:57Speaker 1: you know, with the person of his age or someone
- 44:59Speaker 1: younger or someone older. I don't even know a couple,
- 45:02Speaker 1: but we would know we never see him, you know,
- 45:04Speaker 1: with any of those peeps. And then Kimberly asks Wayne's
- 45:10Speaker 1: daughters what their dag's red flags are, which is such
- 45:15Speaker 1: a weird thing to ask. It's negative. Why the fuck
- 45:21Speaker 1: are you asking his children what his like red flags are? Like,
- 45:26Speaker 1: I don't know, it's just a weird negative question to ask.
- 45:29Speaker 1: They're like, well, he expects someone to have no baggage,
- 45:33Speaker 1: and she just is like what. She's so upset by that.
- 45:36Speaker 1: They also said that one time he dated their vegetarian
- 45:38Speaker 1: and they became a vegetarian, and he was like, well, yeah,
- 45:43Speaker 1: so here's the thing. I mean, I do feel bad
- 45:45Speaker 1: about that. It's like, if you are dating, yeah, a
- 45:48Speaker 1: vegan or vegetarian, it is hard because if they're militant
- 45:51Speaker 1: about it, you have to be like, well, what do
- 45:53Speaker 1: I do with my life? I can't eat meat in
- 45:54Speaker 1: front of you, and so you're like, well, I guess
- 45:56Speaker 1: I won't eat meat. I mean, I don't know how
- 45:58Speaker 1: great that you know, pe was, but maybe it was
- 46:00Speaker 1: good enough that he swore off that you know, jerk
- 46:02Speaker 1: chicken for a minute. So anyway, as I said, they
- 46:05Speaker 1: also said the thing about the baggage, and Kim Bully
- 46:08Speaker 1: is like so upset because she feels like the children
- 46:12Speaker 1: she put up for adoption are part of her baggage.
- 46:15Speaker 1: But it's not. Those kids aren't her shame is. It's
- 46:20Speaker 1: a really interesting thing. Later on, I'm gonna be like
- 46:23Speaker 1: he's going to have a conversation where he's like, bagg
- 46:25Speaker 1: is a shitty word. It's a negative, shitty word. Everyone
- 46:28Speaker 1: has history, and yeah, there's a part of Kim Bully
- 46:30Speaker 1: that is weird and negative, and she doesn't process it
- 46:34Speaker 1: as being like weird and negative. It's weird to ask
- 46:37Speaker 1: his kids what his bad qualities are in front of him,
- 46:42Speaker 1: Like it's not comfortable, it's just it's an awkward thing.
- 46:46Speaker 1: And yeah, like she has so much shame about the
- 46:50Speaker 1: decisions that she made when she was younger that she
- 46:53Speaker 1: holds it and carries it and then is like embarrassed
- 46:56Speaker 1: by it. So I saw this interview with Kasha. I
- 47:00Speaker 1: always feel like that's anything. Yeah, it's Keisha, And she
- 47:05Speaker 1: was talking about how during her lawsuit with doctor Luke,
- 47:10Speaker 1: which is so fucked up, that all of her medical
- 47:15Speaker 1: records were made public and live on the internet, including
- 47:19Speaker 1: medical records from like a ed treatment center she had
- 47:24Speaker 1: gone to and things, because fucking lawsuits are incredibly vindictive
- 47:30Speaker 1: and horrible and if they ascertain your like mental health records,
- 47:33Speaker 1: they can just use that against you. It's so fucked up.
- 47:37Speaker 1: And she was saying like she was embarrassed by it
- 47:41Speaker 1: for so long, but on the other side of it,
- 47:43Speaker 1: now everyone knows, and she's like, I don't actually have
- 47:47Speaker 1: any shame, Like, in fact, I find it incredibly freeing
- 47:51Speaker 1: to be like, Yep, everything's out there, Yep, you can't
- 48:00Speaker 1: anything against me, as like a they're gonna find out
- 48:03Speaker 1: about this. My shit is out there, and those who
- 48:08Speaker 1: like me like me, and if you don't fuck you,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm over it. I thought it was, like, I mean,
- 48:14Speaker 1: it was really I thought it was a really beautiful
- 48:18Speaker 1: sentiment and I was really happy for her, And I
- 48:20Speaker 1: think it kind of goes into the parts of ourselves
- 48:25Speaker 1: that we are. We attach shame to with what that
- 48:29Speaker 1: means and how it sort of breathes in the darkness
- 48:32Speaker 1: and then plagues us with feelings of insecurity or not
- 48:36Speaker 1: good enough or trying to hide this thing when absolutely
- 48:41Speaker 1: everyone has their own set of history and issues and
- 48:46Speaker 1: things and traumas that they have dealt with or are
- 48:50Speaker 1: still dealing with or maybe not dealing with. But there's
- 48:54Speaker 1: just no one in this world that doesn't have something.
- 48:59Speaker 1: And it's kind of the gift you give yourself to
- 49:07Speaker 1: be able to free yourself of those chains and just
- 49:10Speaker 1: be like, yep, this is me, yep at one point, this,
- 49:13Speaker 1: at one point this, you know, I mean, when you
- 49:19Speaker 1: listen to this, it's it's going to be Tuesday. And
- 49:24Speaker 1: I would have had to deal with like a Mother's
- 49:26Speaker 1: day where I don't talk to my mom. It's weird,
- 49:30Speaker 1: and I like, yeah, the things that I have shared
- 49:33Speaker 1: on this podcast of things that I feel weird about
- 49:37Speaker 1: my life or things I've gotten over all still exist.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I have a weird relationship with my mom, my dad,
- 49:43Speaker 1: you know, helps me financially. I had weight loss surgery
- 49:47Speaker 1: in twenty seventeen. I used to weigh you know, two
- 49:50Speaker 1: hundred and eighty three pounds. I don't weigh that anymore.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I'm still like I'm an average sized person, and I have,
- 49:57Speaker 1: you know, like definitely not a perfect body. And I've
- 50:02Speaker 1: made mistakes in my friendships, and I've had codependent friendships,
- 50:06Speaker 1: and I've stayed too long, you know, in relationships that
- 50:10Speaker 1: like didn't serve me and really drained me and like
- 50:12Speaker 1: stole away a lot of my joy and happiness. I mean,
- 50:16Speaker 1: you know a lot of things have happened because I
- 50:19Speaker 1: felt insecure or I wasn't good enough, or I have
- 50:22Speaker 1: mommy issues, and I wanted to have female friends like
- 50:25Speaker 1: super close to me and also like think of me,
- 50:29Speaker 1: you know in a certain way. And it really has
- 50:31Speaker 1: been hard to step back and see the ways in
- 50:37Speaker 1: which I have not helped myself. And also yeah, like
- 50:42Speaker 1: I mean yeah, and I wish that I had, you know,
- 50:46Speaker 1: like a better love life. I certainly wish that I
- 50:49Speaker 1: was in a relationship with someone who loved me. And
- 50:51Speaker 1: I wish that I was able to tablescape a home
- 50:58Speaker 1: on Christmas Eve and put down many plates where my
- 51:02Speaker 1: children and like my husband and like our family members
- 51:05Speaker 1: could come and like you know, have like a beautiful dinner,
- 51:09Speaker 1: you know, on coordinated Ralph Lauren style plaid, you know,
- 51:18Speaker 1: napkins and the whole thing. I'm not a big table
- 51:22Speaker 1: scaping person for some reason, Like that's my thing. When
- 51:25Speaker 1: I want to go to bed at night and my
- 51:26Speaker 1: mom is racing, I think about table scaping. Isn't that
- 51:29Speaker 1: weird anyway? There's definitely things I wish, and there's definitely
- 51:32Speaker 1: things I've done wrong, but I don't think that they're
- 51:36Speaker 1: so horrible that it's like people can't relate to me.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I definitely used to think some of those things were,
- 51:45Speaker 1: but I have somewhat gotten over them now because I'm
- 51:49Speaker 1: older and I understand people really are dealing with their
- 51:53Speaker 1: own things all the time. And the amount of people
- 51:59Speaker 1: when you share your truth that feel like seen or
- 52:02Speaker 1: validated or not alone is like one of the most
- 52:08Speaker 1: beautiful things about human connection because the things that you share,
- 52:17Speaker 1: the truths that you maybe once hid, that other people
- 52:21Speaker 1: listen to and then see themselves in, Like those are
- 52:23Speaker 1: the things that transcend gender, age, race, like religion, all
- 52:30Speaker 1: of those, And I sort of fantasize about like a
- 52:38Speaker 1: state of humanity where we have a lot more of
- 52:42Speaker 1: those moments and a lot less of the division and
- 52:46Speaker 1: that's maybe why I love art so much. And it's
- 52:50Speaker 1: like the different myriad ways in which it touches people.
- 52:53Speaker 1: It sort of like gets past all those things and
- 52:55Speaker 1: showcases the human soul in a way. And there's just
- 52:58Speaker 1: so many mediums to do that, but definitely theater is
- 53:01Speaker 1: the best one. Ha ha ha, you know what I'm saying.
- 53:02Speaker 1: And also comedic podcasting of pop culture recap shows, ha
- 53:06Speaker 1: ha ha. Anyway, all right, so next scene, Okay, oh,
- 53:13Speaker 1: one more thing, So kim Buly having here. Now we're
- 53:17Speaker 1: going back to the show. Kimberly after hearing that those
- 53:21Speaker 1: two things that he had asked sorry, Kimberly had asked
- 53:23Speaker 1: Wayne's kids about his red flags, and then she listens
- 53:27Speaker 1: to two of them. One is that you know, he
- 53:29Speaker 1: becomes the person he's dating, and one is that he
- 53:31Speaker 1: sometimes doesn't like uh to think that other people have baggage.
- 53:34Speaker 1: And then Kimbaly is like, now I'm seeing why Wayne
- 53:38Speaker 1: is single, which is weird because you're also single. You're single.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Why are you like pointing a finger at him, being like,
- 53:46Speaker 1: now I see why you're a single, bitch, you're single too,
- 53:50Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Anyway, I just like yeah,
- 53:54Speaker 1: I'm single too. But it's like I can't imagine a
- 53:55Speaker 1: world in which I'm like, oh, I can see why
- 53:57Speaker 1: that person's single without thinking, and that person can see
- 54:01Speaker 1: why I'm single. Like, I just can't imagine that the
- 54:03Speaker 1: one finger pointing at someone you can automatically see like
- 54:06Speaker 1: the three pointing back at you. So it's the last
- 54:10Speaker 1: night and he's going to cook for her, and he
- 54:12Speaker 1: cooks Jamaican chicken and he's like, don't worry, it's not spicy,
- 54:16Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, please make it spicy. I mean,
- 54:19Speaker 1: you know, you have to put some spice in there.
- 54:22Speaker 1: And he's nervous to cook for her, and she's never
- 54:24Speaker 1: had a man cook for her, and I have had
- 54:26Speaker 1: a man cook for me before, and you know what,
- 54:28Speaker 1: it is really nice, especially it tastes good when she
- 54:32Speaker 1: walks in. He had gotten someone to draw a picture
- 54:36Speaker 1: of Jamal and her that was taken from a picture
- 54:39Speaker 1: of them at Disneyland, and it's not good. It's not
- 54:43Speaker 1: good at all. I mean it's just real shoddy looking.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I'm like, I hope he didn't pay for that fucking picture.
- 54:50Speaker 1: He's like, she's like, oh, great, Stoker, and then he's
- 54:54Speaker 1: like do you want it? And she's like, oh no, no,
- 54:58Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm not gonna haack a frame in my
- 55:01Speaker 1: fucking suitcase. What the fuck am I gonna do with that?
- 55:04Speaker 1: I had the real picture anyway. Then they have an
- 55:07Speaker 1: awkward conversation where she's like what, well, what are we now?
- 55:10Speaker 1: And he's like, I don't want to rush in anything,
- 55:14Speaker 1: so I'm not comfortable putting a label on this yet.
- 55:16Speaker 1: She's like, oh, yeah, totally, I don't want to rush
- 55:18Speaker 1: on anything yet, boyfriend. She takes this opportunity to be like,
- 55:23Speaker 1: I had two other children besides them all, and I
- 55:26Speaker 1: put them up for adoption, my son Larry that found
- 55:28Speaker 1: me and my daughter. Period. He's like that's fine. This
- 55:34Speaker 1: is when he's like, baggage is just the history of
- 55:36Speaker 1: Blobbdy Blue blueby Blops. And she's like good, good, good.
- 55:39Speaker 1: And then she's like, well, what are we and he's like, well,
- 55:43Speaker 1: you are seeing each other and she's like oh okay.
- 55:48Speaker 1: He's like, do you want to spend the night and
- 55:49Speaker 1: she's like no, not to get up early tomorrow morning.
- 55:51Speaker 1: And so we're like, oh, yeah, they haven't boned, you know.
- 55:56Speaker 1: So she's like, okay, well I'm gonna leave, so you know,
- 55:58Speaker 1: I ain't going to change my relationship status ha ha
- 56:00Speaker 1: ha to totally not complicated, because you know, I don't
- 56:04Speaker 1: want men to hit on me anymore. By the way,
- 56:06Speaker 1: it's so funny because I forget like that Facebook has that.
- 56:11Speaker 1: It's so rare that I go on Facebook. I'm like,
- 56:15Speaker 1: my first thought was Instagram doesn't have relationship statuses. Oh,
- 56:20Speaker 1: she means Facebook. She does do something cute. She calls
- 56:23Speaker 1: Wayne her little English muffin, which I was excited about that.
- 56:26Speaker 1: And then the next morning she's packing and he had
- 56:29Speaker 1: texted her like hashtag girlfriend, which was confusing. She says
- 56:34Speaker 1: she has up really early to go to her flight,
- 56:36Speaker 1: but he comes over to the hotel to say goodbye,
- 56:39Speaker 1: which is nice, and he references that during the heartfelt
- 56:47Speaker 1: talk where she was like, I have other kids, he
- 56:50Speaker 1: should have given her a little hand or a little
- 56:54Speaker 1: cuddle to show that he was supportive, and she decides that, like,
- 57:02Speaker 1: here's the time. They kind of like cuddle a little
- 57:04Speaker 1: bit on her bed and she's like, it's a noisy bed.
- 57:08Speaker 1: He's like, how do you know, and she's like, I
- 57:10Speaker 1: sleep wild sometimes, and then she's kind of like, you know,
- 57:14Speaker 1: giving him little pats, and he's like, I like the
- 57:17Speaker 1: fact that she's tactile. Tactile. I've never heard of that
- 57:26Speaker 1: word used in the phrase that he like used in
- 57:30Speaker 1: the context he used it. She's touchy feely, she's affectionate,
- 57:36Speaker 1: She's tactile. I'm tactile. If I like you, I'm super tactile.
- 57:41Speaker 1: I mean, if I drink and you're around, I'm super tactile.
- 57:44Speaker 1: So I mean neither, you know, I'm kind of like
- 57:46Speaker 1: Katie that way from the new season. But Jamal says
- 57:51Speaker 1: that he respects his mom more for telling people about
- 57:53Speaker 1: the siblings, and that's nice. I'm glad that he respects
- 57:57Speaker 1: his mom more. This is where it gets also confused.
- 58:00Speaker 1: She keeps saying that she's going to come back to England.
- 58:02Speaker 1: She's like, I'm gonna come back in three months. I
- 58:04Speaker 1: can't wait to come back. And I want to be like, well,
- 58:06Speaker 1: can he He can't come to the US. He's this
- 58:09Speaker 1: is England. They like, it's not so hard visel wise, Like,
- 58:13Speaker 1: why isn't he making a plan to come visit you?
- 58:16Speaker 1: Now you've come to visit him, Like he can come
- 58:19Speaker 1: see what San Diego is, Like, it's great I thought
- 58:23Speaker 1: that was interesting because I also wanted an explanation why
- 58:27Speaker 1: she wasn't at all like come to visit me, because again,
- 58:33Speaker 1: you know, she didn't stay at his house. She could
- 58:35Speaker 1: just be like, we even had sex yet, so you
- 58:37Speaker 1: can come to San Diego and stay at a hotel,
- 58:40Speaker 1: maybe the Hotel del Coronado or something like that, and
- 58:44Speaker 1: you know, see what life's like in the good old
- 58:46Speaker 1: a USA. So he doesn't seem like he's that into her.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I mean, she's like, you're British, so you don't really
- 58:59Speaker 1: touch and maybe other things. But I think that I
- 59:03Speaker 1: think that if he wanted, you know, like a little
- 59:05Speaker 1: makeout sash, it should have been. There should have been
- 59:06Speaker 1: a makeout sash. Even like after the Jerk Chicken there
- 59:11Speaker 1: was no makeout sash. Not to really like Katie at home,
- 59:14Speaker 1: but I mean why they kind of kiss like you wouldn't,
- 59:18Speaker 1: you know, aunts and uncles, just a lot of like
- 59:20Speaker 1: closed mouth smooching like that. Okay gee, now, so moving on.
- 59:30Speaker 1: He says that he's on the way to something big,
- 59:33Speaker 1: and we're like, what does that mean? And then we
- 59:35Speaker 1: see that he's going to like a misty woo woo
- 59:38Speaker 1: tarot card reading crystal shop and are like, what the hell,
- 59:42Speaker 1: And so he walks in and the saleslady's like, I
- 59:46Speaker 1: sense in your aura you want to renewle of some kind.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Here's some stones. He's like, Yeah, the girl that is
- 59:53Speaker 1: the sales lady at this crystal place, I mean did
- 59:57Speaker 1: a thing, honey, where she cut her own bangs. I
- 59:59Speaker 1: mean she cut her bangs right before this show came
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: to film. And the cut of her banks is circular,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: it's like so high at the top. And then she
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: decided to like add some like kind of French looking
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: fringe on the side. It certainly looks like I mean,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: you know how there's like a part of almost every
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: child's life where they get a pair of scissors and
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: like cut their own hair. Like I feel like it's
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: one of the things that happens, Like you know, at
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: some point if you have a child, like between the
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: ages of like two and five, they're going to get
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: a pair of scissors when you're not looking and cut
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: their own hair. I certainly did, and you have to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: like try and remedy that for them. That's what this
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: lady did. I mean, this lady's bangs are wild looking
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: so fresh. It looks like maybe someone cut them in
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the middle of the night, like a ghost in her house.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: And then she's like, oh, it's my friendly protector ghost.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: You know I called them in for the crystals. It
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: was the hairstylist ghost. I'm not quite sure, but boy,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: are those bangs absolutely bizarre? So then do you And
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: that was like, well, I am not going to buy
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: any of these things because you haven't seen the show.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I'm incredibly cheap. But I am here to see my lawyer.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: And turns out that a person named Thomas Court's real name,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I'm sure, is a Harvard trained lawyer that also owns
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: this crystal shop and is real like I do reiki,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: which is interesting. It feels like he's a jack of
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: all trades. He's like yoga on Monday's, reiki on Tuesday's,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: meditation Wednesdays, and then I go to the courthouse Thursdays.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I'm like, what do you do on Fridays? Are you
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: mayor of this town? You know what? Uh? I hate
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: to not believe in reiki. It's just that the craziest
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: people do reiki. Like one time I was an equinox
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: like and I, which is like a workout place obviously
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: it's like a gym or whatever, and they have like
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you know, body work, body body massuice therapists or whatever
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the fuck it is. And there was a special okay.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So I was like, I'm gonna get a massage, okay.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: And I mean to me, if you're doing a massage
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: at Equinox, it has to be like you know, it's
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: like sports focused. It's like people that work out or whatever.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: It's not a misty woulu kind of massage. But I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: had this weird old lady that was like, you know,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I also do reiki, so if you want, I can
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: do reiki during this massage. And I was like, no,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: but you can deep tissue my muscles really get in
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: there in need. I don't need any reiki. So at
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: the very Yanda massage, she was like, I'm also gonna
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: give you my card so you can I can do
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: reiki for you. And I'm like, bitch, I don't want
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: any reiki. What are you talking about reiki to me?
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: And I'm not saying this is like so sad, but
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: like remember how there used to be these weird okay,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: let me finish a sentence. There was like weird con
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: men cult people that would try and heal you with
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: their hands, and they would like get chicken livers and
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: shit in their hands. And so what they would do
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: is like they'd be massaging you and they would like musician, magician,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: while like you know, a slide of hand, put like
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: a weird chicken liver in their hand. So when they
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: were like touching your stomach, they're like, ooh, let me
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: see if I can pull out the bed and they'd be
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: like look, I got it, and be like a chicken liver,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: and you're supposed to be like, oh my god, they
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: took out the toxic organ that was ailing me. I mean,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: who the hell knows what it was, but it reminds
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: me of that. I'm not saying that like mind and
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: body doesn't have a connection, but like it just seems
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: really fucking easy and convenient to call yourself a reiki
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: healer and just be like I'm breathing and touching you,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: or not even touching you, just putting my hands over
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you like you're you know, a deck of tarot cards.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I'm just infusing my energy. Okay, So this lawyer is
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: like only too happy to see you now, because Gino's
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: like you know, I'm I need to get a divorce,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: and the lawyer is like, well, it's going to be
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: a very complicated slash expensive divorce because there's so many issues.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: It's in Florida. She I'm sorry, she lives in Florida.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: You're in Michigan. There's a child out of wedlock, and
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: there's immigration, so it's gonna be super expensive, really expensive.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I was like, what was Thomas Quartz's life like at Harvard?
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: What would his Harvard lawyer friends say about him? He
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: seems like an interesting guy. Gino's like, I got his
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: name through a friend and read his reviews. They're all awesome.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I'm like, on Yelp, on Google reviews? Are they AI reviews?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: And then Gino's like, do I have to see that
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: narcissist if I go to court? And it's like probably probably.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: He's like marrying Jazzmine, which is the worst mistake I've
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: ever made, And it's like probably she would say the same. However,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: was it though? Because you get to be on the
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: show because of her, and you love being on this
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: show because literally the ninety day fans are kicking and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: screaming never to see your ass again, And somehow You're
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: still here like a fucking cockroach. So anyway, next scene
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: is that he reveals that he's been talking to multiple
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: women online big surprise, how coldy of you, Jesus Christ,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: and that he gets like some pheromone spray and sprays
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: him down. I mean, the pheromone spray honey is like
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: straight out of like Sassy or ym magazines. In the
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: back of those magazines in the nineties, it would always
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: be like the ads and they'd be like, want to
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: get the boy of your dreams, spray pheromone spray. Pheromone
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: is the love enzyme, chemicals that excrete and can make
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: sure whatever boy you like totally falls in love with you.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Was like that kind of shit. It's like then there's
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: sea monkeys right underneath that. You're like, oh my god.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: He sprays down pheromone spray and I can't imagine how
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: bad it smells. I'm assuming it smells so weird and
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: so bad. And then he's like, I've been talking to
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: this girl Lexi, and we have natural chemistry where we
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: went out only as friends and then we had so
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: much fun I decided to ask her out again. I'm like,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: why didn't we see the date of you dating her
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: as a friend then, but he sprays himself down. He's
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: like heck yeah, we're like no, And then we meet her.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: She comes out honey, she's young as hell, and then
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: she has like these heart shaped ear muffs on oh,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: and he says they're wine tasting. So they sit down
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: and the waitress looks right at lexis like can I
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: see your ID? And you know, Gina's like, do you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: want to see mine? And she's like, no, weird asshole.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I'm low key trying to embarrass you right now by
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: asking your date to see her ID because she is
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: so young looking and you were so old looking. That's
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: what I'm doing. That's the old waitress trick. Anyway, she's thirty,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: she looks younger than that. There's a twenty six age difference.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: They end up like not having wine. They seem to
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: have like some cider tasting against She's like, yeah, you're
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: older than my dad, and he's like, she has a
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: four year old daughter, Mia, and he's like, I'd love
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: to meet your daughter some day, and I think in
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: his mine, he's like, Mia has to like me. She's
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: too young to not like me yet, Unlike Natalie's daughter,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: and he kind of like low key shades Natalie.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: And being like, I really want to be with a
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: younger woman who can ultimately give me my one two.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Dream to have a child. She's like, I think that
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: you'd be a really good father.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Like, so you've never seen the show because when you know,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: when he was with Jasmine and he brought her over,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he couldn't gear less about the children she already had.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: I mean, now that can she? But you know, what
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: can you do? So Lexi is also someone who like
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: snorts when she laughs, which is like something I do too,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: And I was like, girl, run. Then they I realize
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: this wine tasting place that gets people really fucked up
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: also has a petting zoo attached so you can go
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: feed animals afterward. And I thought that was a really
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: bad decision. I don't think you should have alcohol and
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: animals so close to each other. You can't have people
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: getting fucked up and be like, let's go feed the
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: emil out, you know, like no, come peck your eyes out.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I don't know what to say of how much I
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: don't want to see him anymore, and how he's disgusting
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: and weirds me out and like it's you know, not
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: safe from my human eyes anymore. I really like it
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: when it's good people trying to find love, and I
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: don't like it when it's awkward, like toxic people with
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: their own disorders who like refuse to look themselves in
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: the eye and do no work on themselves over and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: over again, having to see them look for love when
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: it's like look in a mirror first, you know, look
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: in a mirror first, and then go to therapy first.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I mean, go to a hard nosed therapist that's gonna
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: like help you out, and then go to i don't know,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: like a dating coach. I would rather see single life
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: where like there was a dating coach involved, being like,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: let's talk those some of the reasons why you know,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: to quote unquote Kimberly, why you're still single or why
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: do you know still single? Or Courtney, what are you
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: looking for in a man? You know? Because Courtney's like
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: jumped from Colty if that was real to film is
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: like wild. The fill thing with Courtney reads so fake,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: it's like obnoxious. Yeah.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Yi.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: That is why I'm super excited for them to have
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: regular ninety day fiance back. I am so thankful for
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: this new season. I really had to do a two
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: parts of my recap because it was so long. But however,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: this is a long episode too, so I'm going to
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: end it. But I'm excited for the tell all. Obviously,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Ross Matthews is going to be the host, and you
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: know I love me some Ross. You know that I
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: love Ross commenting and I enjoy, you know, seeing him
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: talk about fun things I did ten years ago. I
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: do now, all right, babes, If you want to follow me,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: you can. I am at Chris L Farah on TikTok

- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I've made, or what stupid song but you don't mind
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: me singing? Or I don't know. You can tell me
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: like some weird, shameful thing that you are trying to
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: hide from the world and you want to just fucking
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: confess it. Do that, but also give me five stars
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: and you do it anyway, doublass. You don't have to

- 1:11:18Speaker 1: am I gonna breathe haha ha I need it, okay.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Two breaths, two breaths to hold our heart and allow
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: whatever we're hiding from this world that we think makes
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: us less than to leave us, to break the jail
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: cell to escape, and therefore our souls escape, and then
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: we join the transcendental world soul of humanity, where we
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: are all one and universal and everyone moves with pain
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: and pleasure and joy and trauma at the same time.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: All right, babes, two breaths. I said breasts, but I
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: meant breaths. Alright, babies, now I can say it. Take
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: care of yourself and one another, stand up for what
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you believe and make art okay, or make some jerk chicken.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Spice it up all right, I'll talk to you later. Bye.
