  Stay solid when life shakes. Have you ever built something

  you were proud of, only to watch it fall apart when pressure hit?

  Maybe it was a plan that didn't work out, a relationship that
• 0:21
  didn't last, or confidence that crumbled the moment things got
• 0:24
  hard. Life has a way of shaking what
• 0:26
  we build, and when it does, it quickly reveals whether our
• 0:29
  foundation was solid or just convenient.

  Jesus paints A vivid picture in Matthew Chapter 7.
• 0:36
  He talks about two people who both hear his words.
• 0:39
  On the outside. They look the same, but there's
• 0:41
  one key difference. One actually lives out what
• 0:44
  Jesus says and the other doesn't.
• 0:47
  Jesus says the one who hears his words and does not do them is
• 0:50
  like a man who built his house on sand.
• 0:53
  When the storms came, and they did, the house collapsed.

  It wasn't the storm that caused the failure, it was the
• 0:59
  foundation. Proverbs chapter 3 verses 25 to
• 1:03
  26 speak straight into our fear when life feels unstable.

  Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the
• 1:09
  wicked when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and
• 1:13
  will keep your foot from being caught.

  Notice what God doesn't say. He doesn't say trouble won't
• 1:18
  come. He says you don't have to be
• 1:20
  afraid when it does. Why?
• 1:22
  Because the Lord himself is your confidence, not your
• 1:24
  circumstances, not your emotions, not how strong you
• 1:27
  feel that day. God is the one keeping you
• 1:30
  steady. Storms will come, pressure will
• 1:33
  rise, unexpected news will hit. Fear will try to get loud.

  But when your life is anchored in Jesus, when his words shape
• 1:40
  your choices, your reactions, your habits and your values, you
• 1:43
  don't fall apart. When things shake, you may bend,
• 1:46
  you may feel the wind, but you stand.
• 1:49
  Staying solid isn't about pretending everything is fine.
• 1:52
  It's about trusting the one who holds you when everything isn't.
• 1:56
  It's about choosing obedience over convenience, truth over
• 1:59
  feelings, and faith over fear. Especially when it's hard.

  When Jesus is your foundation, chaos doesn't get the final
• 2:05
  word. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for being the solid foundation my
• 2:10
  life can stand on. Teach me not just to hear your
• 2:13
  words, but to live them out daily when fear rises and life
• 2:17
  feels unstable. Help me trust you as my

  confidence and my security. Strengthen my faith so I can
• 2:23
  stand firm no matter what shakes around me.

  When Jesus had finished saying these things, the multitudes

  were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them with

  authority and not like the scribes.
