- 0:05Drama Darling, Drama, Darling, Drama Darling. Hello, everybody, welcome
- 0:19back. It's Drama Darling. It's me Amy Phillips. I'm with Emily Dereesis
- 0:23here. What's up ms? Hello Amy, and a good day to you.
- 0:28Thank you. I you know, we are reeling off of someone who
- 0:34made a little comment on my Instagram reel yesterday, and let me just start
- 0:41the show by saying, welcome darlings, thank you for listening. We'll be
- 0:44covering below Deck and Real Housewives of Miami. Now I'm gonna pivot right back
- 0:49over so on Patreon. The bonus episode right now. There's a couple floating
- 0:55around, but one is True Detective. The other that it's actually a bonus
- 1:00episode on our public podcast is Feud Capoti versus the Swans. But yesterday,
- 1:07Emily and I recap True Detective Night Country episode five. Emily spoil anything if
- 1:15you haven't started it, yeah, okay, yes, oh yeah, And
- 1:18you know what, I don't think we will because our theory so we were
- 1:23just we were in it deep if you will. In the Night Country yesterday's
- 1:29recap, in and Emily, this theory of hers came to her in I
- 1:36mean, I want to say a fever dream, if you will. It
- 1:40wasn't cbdhc old dream, menedible field dream, same thing. And so she
- 1:49comes to the podcast yesterday and she just slaps on the table this theory that
- 1:56Danvers and or Navarro are in a coma. And you know she's awake.
- 2:02That the whole theory about, you know, the voices that you're hearing.
- 2:07You know, she's starting to become awake. So she's moving her fingers uh
- 2:10to the people who are asking the right questions to solve the case outside of
- 2:14the coma. Needless to say, you can go ahead and listen to that.
- 2:17I made it available for the public. Next week's finale will only be
- 2:23on Patreon. But that being said, I signed off on this theory faster
- 2:29than I signed my marriage certificate. And that's a lot because I love my
- 2:32husband. To my husband, and needless to say, we were on one.
- 2:39I created a real of this theory. Actually we created it together and
- 2:46then put it up. You know, I you know, I had to
- 2:49tag my girl is Lopez, the creator of the Director and the Cream Director
- 2:53writer, and let's just say has entered the chat because she did, in
- 3:02fact respond and she said dot dot dot. She's not in a coma,
- 3:10Yike's face. That is her opinion, as Tamara would say. I and
- 3:25here's the other thing I said. I could be wrong, but I think
- 3:30there's something to it, and maybe this is going to become something that in
- 3:34twenty years from now always like, did you ever realize that Danvers is maybe
- 3:38in a coma? It's like that theory that came up with Billy Joel and
- 3:43the piano Man, where it's like, now, like thirty forty years later,
- 3:46everybody's like, the piano man didn't realize he was playing in a gay
- 3:50bar. So like now because like you know, Jonathan bars of friend of
- 3:54mine, gets me any drinks for freeze, talking with Davy still in the
- 3:58navy, probably will be for life as a real estate novelist kind of thing,
- 4:01gets me my drinks for free kind of So so everybody's like, wait
- 4:03a second, piano man doesn't realize he's in a gay bar, and everybody's
- 4:08like, he's just not catching the vibe? Man, what are you doing
- 4:11here? So I didn't come up with that theory that I never heard that
- 4:15theory. This is great. I like that you're tying it into true Detective
- 4:20Night Country, and I like that you're going to hold on to what you
- 4:25believe is the right storyline, even though the creator and writer has since told
- 4:30us we're dead wrong. Okay, no, she's dead wrong. She used
- 4:33a yike's face. Okay, awesome. It was a coma theory and she
- 4:39said she's not in a coma. Hmm, well, well listen my mom
- 4:46both in denial. What my mom would have been like, well, that's
- 4:49not part of my reality. So you're basically saying to Lisa, this is
- 4:56not your story to tell, and she's like, he yes, and I
- 5:00already told it, and you're gonna mind out next week whether you like it
- 5:04or not. Yeah. Now, my brother brought up a good point that
- 5:10the swirl we were talking this morning, and the swirl leans towards a hypnosis
- 5:15tool. So maybe I did ask the right question. Yeah, she I
- 5:21would have died if she said to us, you're not asking the right question.
- 5:27But she respected our theory. I think just because she was, she
- 5:32gave it the attention that I feel like it deserved. I mean, I
- 5:38I thought, there's no way she isn't in a coma or they both are,
- 5:42like there was no other way. But anyway, we digress, and
- 5:45if you want to hear our theories and how we justify it, we can
- 5:47justify every almost every single thing. Quite frankly, Yeah, listen to the
- 5:53stand by it. You stand by it, and that's but you can stand
- 5:57by it. But beck you and not I, and go pack ya koma
- 6:01theory and go. I'm just glad we don't have to wait an entire like
- 6:08week to find out that we are wrong. But you know, let me
- 6:12ask you this, what color was the yike's face? It was orange?
- 6:18So well, anyway, it's very cool. I'm thrilled that she is talking
- 6:28to us, that she's engaging and not enraging. So that being said,
- 6:32we just have a little bit of dish to serve up dish. Wow,
- 6:38I don't think any of us saw this coming. Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan
- 6:42have indeed broken up. How do you know you gotta do it? How
- 6:46do you know? How do you know? How do you know? But
- 6:51how do you know? You have cancer? Who told you a doctor?
- 6:57How do you know? Marcus then followed me, how do you know?
- 7:00Well, it's clear as day. How do you know? She's like?
- 7:04Marcus? Unfollowed she Nanigan's and Summer Moon Honey and Me. So people is
- 7:14reporting that they've gone their separate ways. A source confirms this, and they've
- 7:18been dating for more than a year. They decided to take some time apart
- 7:24to reevaluate their relationship. This has nothing to do with any family input,
- 7:29but solely for their personal growth, because people are saying, like, you
- 7:33know, Michael Jordan, never, never, Eva Bliss this relationship. She
- 7:44also shared on her Instagram's story, in which she included a poll that she
- 7:49asked followers, should your friends onfollow your ex as well as a video of
- 7:56Morgan Freeman speaking about trusting your inner voice. Boy, we're bringing Morgan Freeman
- 8:01into this, I mean, why not? Why not? At this point
- 8:07are they dating? I feel like we all knew this wasn't going to last
- 8:13forever. I really thought they could keep it together for the season, and
- 8:18now they're going to see each other at the Traders Reunion for the first time
- 8:22since their breakup, which is very exciting, which Andy Cohen is hosting.
- 8:26I don't know why I didn't remember that from last year. Shame on me,
- 8:31Shame Bell, shame no too. I was with you on that it
- 8:33was just a long day. We were recapping one hundred things. You know,
- 8:37sometimes things get lost in the weeds. But that being said, what
- 8:43is going to happen to separation anxiety? Their podcast, It will thrive.
- 8:50This is the best thing that happened to it. They could both yes,
- 8:54they could both do one one week Larsa does it and one week Marcus does
- 8:58it. Separate. I love it, Let's do it. It's a custody
- 9:07podcast, podcast, custody. I'm working on the title, Yeah, podcasting
- 9:13their coma coma. They're they're in a coma and they're not really broken up.
- 9:18They just are separated for the time being. Okay, So I got
- 9:24this on Queen's of Bravo on Instagram that there's a shakeup coming to Orange County.
- 9:33Sutton is filming with Gina and newbie Katie Janella Janella, I should say
- 9:39Janella. So I don't know what Sutton's doing down there, but I would
- 9:46like her to name them the new cast members name them also. Dave Quinn
- 9:54says, and this is a People article. Winterhouse hasn't been canceled, but
- 9:58it is on Paul A source tells People. Yes, indeed, so we'll
- 10:05be uh, following that, I'm really disappointed it's winter. You know,
- 10:11it's gonna be a whole year. Then if you don't catch your winter unless
- 10:15they go up to Ennis Oh Winterhouse, Night Country. They go and they
- 10:22spend thirty days of night drunk and disoriented, And I mean that's pretty much
- 10:30the show anyway. Yeah, yeah, it's pretty much because they sleep all
- 10:35day. I mean, God knows pages in bed. Well that's it,
- 10:39first serving dish, Thanks baby Darling. Okay, so we I want to
- 10:46talk about Below Deeck first. Okay, I want to talk about Below Deck
- 10:52because I feel like they're off to a great start, especially considering that Captain
- 11:00Terry I think is an AI. I mean, well, he's definitely the
- 11:07most friendly to the crew, like engaging and on a personal level that I've
- 11:13seen in a long time, like probably out of the gate, don't think
- 11:18more than Captain Sandy. Yeah, Sandy doesn't know what the hell's going on.
- 11:22She's coming in there busting up relationships, being like Kyle's flirting on the
- 11:26phone, not realizing what's going on. But like also I think he's giving
- 11:33us a lot of personal He's disclosing and being vulnerable about himself more than I
- 11:39think Sandy as a leader is comfortable with. Oh that's a really good point.
- 11:45You're right, he does. He mean, he's spilling it in the
- 11:48galley, you know, last episode, the first episode he was out there
- 11:52right, yeah, yeah, and this one and this one. Yeah,
- 11:56what do you say? He was talking about his kids again, and he
- 12:01was talking about gosh, he was talking about a couple of things. Well,
- 12:05he talked about Okay, he also had to did we already talk about
- 12:09this last week where he had to stop basically being a captain in order to
- 12:15be there for his kids. We did, Okay, Yeah, that was
- 12:18part of so be that bitch. Yeah, Captain Perry was like, I'm
- 12:24going to be that bitch. I'm gonna stay home with my kids. You
- 12:28know, I'm gonna take another job. Yeah, So that is way more
- 12:33like we would never get that from. I mean, some some shit would
- 12:37really have to hit the fan in order for any of these other captains to
- 12:43let their guards down a little like that. I think, Well, Captain
- 12:46Lee, you know, he really had some trauma, some tragedy in his
- 12:52life, losing one of his kids. And yeah, he has opened up,
- 12:56but you know that definitely wasn't until much later. But he doesn't know
- 13:03that people were loading in getting to know you. No, it wasn't like
- 13:07take a knee right. He also did it with the right people, you
- 13:11know. He he did it with the Queen of Versailles, who had very
- 13:16much the same experience. Yeah, well that's not your crew though. I'm
- 13:20talking about like the people that are. Yeah, because you do want a
- 13:26little separation there. But it is interesting to see different leadership styles, I
- 13:31guess so. Yeah. No, but his head is so smooth, you
- 13:35know, and he kind of looks like a fake, like a robot in
- 13:41a way. I don't know. Yeah, he kind of does. Anyway,
- 13:46that's AI for you. You don't know if it's fake. Yeah.
- 13:50Around, it's everywhere. It's your damn captain. Now, No, it's
- 13:56your first AI captain. Baby, Welcome to reality TV AI Island. A
- 14:03bunch of Ais stranded on an island talking about their personal shit. Yeah that
- 14:11someone else is writing for them. Yeah. Ay, I write an emotional
- 14:16story to where I will get the fans allegiance so that the fan vote will
- 14:22go towards me. Talk about your children now, think about them being far
- 14:28away. Let me ask you a question. Okay, you like a poached
- 14:33pair. Sure, I mean I'm not gonna say no, I won't be
- 14:41that bitch. I will eat it. I mean, like it's not my
- 14:43first choice. Oh it'd better be really that bitch. No, I'm kidding,
- 14:50no. I I think I've only had a poached pair once, but
- 14:54I am just delighted with a poached pair. I would love I'd like to
- 14:58have it more often, quite frankly, and I think that I have the
- 15:01ability to do it. I've seen, you know, when I've researched recipes
- 15:05for instapot because I love an instapot recipe. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:09I could really get into that. I think, you know, twenty
- 15:13twenty four might be the year of poach pair for me. I mean,
- 15:16I am turning double twenty fives this week, so this is true. And
- 15:22it's a nice red dessert for Valentines, especially as Fraser said, and indeed,
- 15:28another red wine reduction was so shady. I mean, like indeed,
- 15:33oh my gosh, he just shaded that red wine reduction and also stuff reduction,
- 15:41you know, stuff reducing everything and putting it on that because he had
- 15:45did the steaks have the red wine? Yeah? And then the poach pair
- 15:48of the red wine. That's too much red wine reduction. I thought it
- 15:50was part of the theme. It was well to me, I wouldn't have
- 15:56thought much of it. I would have been like, I would have thought
- 15:58that was part of what he was presenting the theme. Oh, I see
- 16:02his his theme. The charter guests at the preference sheet, meaning, it
- 16:08looks like they want a red wine reduction. Potty, what I'm going to
- 16:18bring all the red wine reduction. They're going to be swimming in it.
- 16:22Watch me me fucking that hot tub in it. Oh my god, I've
- 16:30never seen a lingering shot like that in my life. They stayed on there.
- 16:37Yeah. How much crew was up there covering that? I mean they
- 16:41had at least at least two cameras well. I don't know about why.
- 16:47I mean I just seemed like, well, they had one underneath. Underneath.
- 16:51Yeah, they were filming the bottom of the hot tub. Those were
- 16:53their feet in the ceiling, and then they were filming them head on because
- 17:00you can see the ceiling. Yeah, the bottom of the hot tub in
- 17:03the ceiling is a glass bottom. Yes, what I st David, No,
- 17:10I don't know where I am. I'm on some other vessel. I'm
- 17:14I'm docked right next door. We don't have that. We do not have
- 17:17that. It's a glass bottom hot tub and you can look up into it,
- 17:22yea from whose room? I think it's the stairwell from the store over
- 17:29the globe. So it goes enormous globe, glass bottom hot tub boom.
- 17:37Yeah. Because you could see their feet working hilarious like ducks. Yes,
- 17:42I don't know where, see their feet like really getting getting grounded so they
- 17:48could pound, yes, wow, a red wine pounding over a globe.
- 17:55But this has so many layers that I don't like. Yeah. Well,
- 18:02the other thing that I keep thinking is that's like the why would you ever
- 18:06want to look up into a hot tub of your friends. It's the worst
- 18:10thing. It's like so insanely exposed. It's luxurious. Yea, it's luxury.
- 18:21This is what the douchebags want. They want to see it, I
- 18:23guess. So, I mean I like that they cover it. I like
- 18:26someone's on that shot all the time when they're in that hot tub. Now,
- 18:30hey we got to get to the globe. Shot. Yeah, get
- 18:33under that hot tub again. Hot shot, hot shot. But they were
- 18:40in order to really land on that those primaries just pound caking in that red
- 18:45wine reduction hot tub. They sorry, they were doing a split screen and
- 18:52they would just shift that hot tub scene over to the right or to the
- 18:57left and then pop in like Sonny or Zanny or like a Fraser to tell
- 19:06whatever story they were telling that it had not much to do with the couple
- 19:10and the other square having a red wine time. Oh yeah ye. But
- 19:18it was also like, you know, because people had to stay on deck,
- 19:22but they were sent to bed. Everybody, right besides Barbie. Well,
- 19:27I mean Barbie was actually sent to bed, but then everybody's kind of
- 19:30standing close by to be like, the hell's happening. I would think,
- 19:34honestly, I would think it would have happened more. They would have protocols
- 19:40for it. I do like that they cleaned it. Thank god we can't
- 19:45yeah that we cannot have that. So it be that thatch. Yeah,
- 19:48I'm gonna be that bitch. I'm gonna clean it for the for the team,
- 19:51because you know, and also you're like a crew member and you know
- 19:56that your time is coming to get into that hot tup too, So it
- 20:00is also self serving because you want to be able to get into that hot
- 20:02tub and feel like you've done your job at cleaning it. Mm hmmm.
- 20:06That's why I do not like hot tubs. I'm not a fan of hot
- 20:10tubs. I agree. So the court we're picking up with the courses that
- 20:17are coming out too slow, and is a cat that's stacking the plates?
- 20:22It is cat. Yeah, you can't stack a plate, honey. No,
- 20:26as Fraser said, this isn't a wolf of house. This is a
- 20:30souper yacht. You know, it is true, Like I you know,
- 20:36once you work, so I worked in fine dining. Darlings worked in fine
- 20:40dining. It is like, lo, can I take How can I help
- 20:42you? What can I? Can I take your order? Darlings and French
- 20:48American, two different restaurants, and you really can't stack a plate. I
- 20:53mean it is tacky as hell, and it's true. Like, but when
- 20:57you're at a diner or casual restaurant, stack them up, we stack in,
- 21:03we're stacking. And so I mean I get that because you're it's an
- 21:08experience. I get like you're trying to make things different and unique in a
- 21:12fine dining experience, and it is gross to see stacked plates. You know,
- 21:18I'm not grossed out by it. Okay, Well, when I think,
- 21:22because I'm so like aware, Like so when Brett and I go out
- 21:25to dinner or whatever and he would like start moving stuff out of the way
- 21:30and stacking and moving, I'm like, please don't do that, Please,
- 21:34please don't do that. It likes to give the give the guys in the
- 21:37back of helpful hand here. Oh yeah, And I think then that really
- 21:41is what everybody is doing when they do that. So I yeah, the
- 21:45intention is great. I just you know, you don't do it in fine
- 21:49dining. But look, if we're Denny's, I got to let go of
- 21:52my standards, you know, if we're over at Chili's, which you know
- 21:56we are. Yeah, a Swizzler played up that little all right, Chili's
- 22:03for five hours the other day. Okay, you've called me out. You
- 22:07put the chill and Chili's. I had a Gallanine's Day with the cool mom
- 22:12group up here in Santa Clarita, the Santa Clarita Bonitas, they don't know
- 22:17I call them that, and we were like, let's go to Chili's,
- 22:21let's do it up. And yeah, we stayed there for five hours.
- 22:27Did I know we were there that long until I got home. No I
- 22:30didn't. And I walked in the door and Brett said, you were at
- 22:33Chili's for five hours And I said, you know what, Sonna be that
- 22:40bitch. That's the bitch. I am God bless, thank you. So
- 22:48we're on this speech excursion and boy oh boyd where people passing the buck on
- 22:52those beverages that didn't make it to that picnic. Holy moly, Fraser gave
- 22:57it to Ben, Ben gave it to Gar and Jared's like, I have
- 23:00a DHD. Jared can't be long for this vessel. I mean, he
- 23:07really has to get it together. He's going to leave in a coma and
- 23:11can't. That's who's going to leave in a coma, Jared, We got
- 23:17it. Yeah. I don't trust him at all with his tasks, those
- 23:22tasks being not to wreck the boat. I just I'm not do your He's
- 23:30a boson and he looks like he should be in the interior and he's filling
- 23:34in for someone outside because they're in a bit of a pickle. Like when
- 23:40he's like, I haven't been on a big ship in a long time,
- 23:42I'm like, I don't think you've been anywhere in a long time, because
- 23:47these are just basic communication skills. Oh my god, just a basic put
- 23:52this in the put this cooler in the boat. Right. He couldn't do
- 24:00it, couldn't. I mean, yeah, I'm worried. Oh my god.
- 24:04When they were docking and Terry's like getting information on the stun stundy stains,
- 24:12I mean that was rough. I was terrified. I was terrified and
- 24:18blow deck. I don't know how they can say it every season ten different
- 24:23ways about how cutthroat it is to dock a damn boat, but they do
- 24:27it. They create that tension every time, and they do a great job
- 24:33they do, because every time I'm like, it's not going to happen.
- 24:36And then, for the first time ever, I heard about I was close
- 24:41closer than a bee's dick, That's what Captain said. And he's never been
- 24:45that close to screwing up in twenty years. And I was like, well,
- 24:51we got a problem. We have a problem. He was going to
- 24:53bail out of that docking, and I was wondering to myself, how would
- 24:57you bail out, Like just kick it back into reverse and then leave and
- 25:02then turn around and come back again. Like but yeah, I mean,
- 25:07I was very grateful that he, you know, in a way, dipped
- 25:11his feet into a bit of a Captain Lee vibe with the I was a
- 25:15bees dick away from bailing out of that docking, you know, because that's
- 25:19just a great term, as you said, I've never heard and quite frankly,
- 25:26he could have said stinger, but he said dick. Yeah, no,
- 25:30I get it, and I'm probably gonna use it a lot now.
- 25:32So thank you, thank you, thank you. So to be that bitch,
- 25:37oh be ee that bitch. He means he's gonna fuck that bitch.
- 25:41That's what that means. I'm going to be that bitch. Boy. Cat
- 25:48and Barbie are just butting heads, and I think, you know, Kat
- 25:52is a little out of uh a pocket here. When she was trying to
- 25:56talk to Barbie about uh, you know, Fraser expect us to be working
- 26:00while they're gone and you know, like making it look nice, I was
- 26:06like, ooh hon huh yeah. And the fact that she can't take the
- 26:11responsibility of like knowing she was being shitty is also a red flag to me.
- 26:18Yeah, you know, mm hmm. And she was like, because
- 26:22I did think, especially towards the beginning, like Barbie was communicating pretty clearly,
- 26:27like I'm going to be over here, I need or like I got
- 26:32to be at the bar, and then like Kat would just like ignore her
- 26:36totally. And then yeah, it just was like Kat is kind of in
- 26:41her own world and she was ignoring everybody. Let's she was not using her
- 26:45radio. I don't know if she doesn't know how to use it. But
- 26:48then when people were shouting at her from behind like a sheet of paper,
- 26:53she would like hide and act like she didn't hear it, and she moves
- 26:59in slow mo. She really does. Yeah, not doing herself herselves,
- 27:06herself any favors in my when I'm looking to hire some staff for my HTIs
- 27:15no no. Also really ratting out Barbie at the beach picnic when you were
- 27:25just crying like a day ago, Bib Fraser is not going to have your
- 27:30back, like you're not showing you're not showing leadership skills, you know,
- 27:37And now freaking Ben is like stirring shit up and clearly proud of it.
- 27:45I love how Frasier put it, like you want to like he said to
- 27:48the camera, and he kind of said to him too, I was glad
- 27:51he said, knock it off, but like I would love that he'd like
- 27:55said exactly what it was like, Ben, You're trying to insert yourself in
- 27:57this thing so that the girls will both be coming to you and then you
- 28:02can they'll you'll be in their attention and you can kind of like control the
- 28:07attention of these girls. And I'm like, absolutely, he doesn't give two
- 28:11shits. No, he's just he is stirring at us. Yeah, he
- 28:15just wants to be relevant and he just wants to be like their shoulder to
- 28:18cry on. Totally. Well, I like that Fraser at the end was
- 28:26basically like, you'll being petty, You're not going to be a good stew.
- 28:30And if you're not going to be a good stew you're going to get
- 28:32not going to get along. I can't help with that. You'll both be
- 28:36gone. No, they won't. Fraser can't. He can't. But I
- 28:40like that he kind of like called them out on their shit immediately before it
- 28:44got worse, because I did like at the end when they when Barbie and
- 28:48Cat were somewhere somewhere by the trash cans and the prep stations and what have
- 28:55you, Kat said something like, oh, oh my gosh, I just
- 28:56need a drink and I just kind of get this way. I'm really sorry
- 29:00if I was coming off that way. And I liked that she began with
- 29:03that, and I also liked that Barbie said, look, I thank you
- 29:07for saying that, but if you're gonna say something about me, please don't
- 29:11do it with other people. Just come to me. I thought that they
- 29:15were getting somewhere, and then they weren't like I thought, you know what
- 29:19I mean, Like, so I did like that Fraser's like, no,
- 29:23not get off, like that's not what we're doing. You have to be
- 29:26good at your jobs and get along and a sentence, Yeah that bit be
- 29:33that bitch, you know. I love that they got like a very high
- 29:38tip and a little like gift basket from the Primaries. I mean, I
- 29:44was like that crew had a load in the gift baskets and then deal with
- 29:48cleaning around them and dealing with those gift baskets the whole time of their room
- 29:56wasn't even worth it. So note to the Primaries, give the gift basket
- 30:02at the beginning. Yeah they would have. If they didn't do a good
- 30:06job, they were just gonna take the gift baskets off the boat, Like
- 30:10how horrible would that have? Been and they were opened. Is the other
- 30:14fun part of that? Yeah? Right was the plastic? Okay, thank
- 30:18you? I was like, this looks messy, So like they take the
- 30:22gifting. They were clear. Yeah, they were gifting because they didn't want
- 30:27to fly with that ship. They can't fly with that shit. I mean,
- 30:30well, I guess if they packed it, they check it. Yeah,
- 30:33but are you really going to take that chance and break glass of like
- 30:38you know, a jar of honey or whatever the hell was in there?
- 30:41Like, no, you're gonna give it to the crew on gender lines girlsca.
- 30:51How about Brian, who's the friend of the primary just eight shit so
- 30:55bad going to get out of that tender? So good? He never had
- 31:03a chance that first, Like and I was like, oh there, what
- 31:11but like I don't know whose fault that was, Like should the Yachti's been
- 31:15having his back? No? I mean, like, shouldn't the yachtis have
- 31:19been helping him? I mean, isn't that their whole purpose of being there
- 31:23to pick it up a boat safely? Yeah? That's correct. There,
- 31:30Like here you go, you like the high jump, now get on the
- 31:33boat. And then yeah, that was just so so great. What else?
- 31:41That was pretty much it. What do you think of the the chef
- 31:45who he needs to pick it up? I don't know what I mean,
- 31:51even towards the end. I mean, I guess it must be really good
- 31:53food. It is all I can say. Because they were pretty forgiving because
- 31:57it was fifty five minutes between courses, and that first night that's like I'm
- 32:05in bed. And then when it did come up, it was I mean,
- 32:09I guess it tasted really good. They were going crazy, but I
- 32:13was like, oh, I would have not been happy, but I wouldn't
- 32:16have said anything. I would have just taken it. This is amazing.
- 32:25Another hour. Yeah, I think he's really good. I was actually worried
- 32:35about him the first charter. I'm sorry this is the first charter. I
- 32:37was worried about him the first day. But I do think he's putting out
- 32:40good food, so that's the most important thing. Happy about that. He
- 32:45likes to do his workouts when he's bringing in the peeled potatoes or whatever it
- 32:51is. So get in where you can get it in. Consistency doesn't have
- 32:55to look like a Jim Amy. You just got to get your squats in
- 33:00where you get your squats. Wow. Good, good call on that.
- 33:04Uh, thank you. This episode should have been sponsored by some sort of
- 33:07aloe because they were so burned to a crisp and I'm thinking, why are
- 33:13they not applying the sunscreen? Everyone on the boat has cancer. I'm just
- 33:16couldna call it now. That was insane. Yeah, it was bad.
- 33:22I mean, I mean, those are those burns. The sun is closer
- 33:27these days, and in terms of like because of the ozone layer, like
- 33:30it's depleting the protection. So the burns are really significant. And I don't
- 33:37know what the hell they're thinking. How can you be in that business and
- 33:43not just bathe in sunscreen twenty hours a day. Yeah they can't handle it.
- 33:51Oh but duh? Okay, reminder, get your skin checked and uh
- 33:58where sunscreen and a floppy hat. Let's move on to Miami. Yeah,
- 34:05let's do it. Did I catch you by surprise? Okay, Mexico City?
- 34:08Did I catch you by surprise? There? Not? Really we had
- 34:12really, I mean, our our charter guests were about to leave. I
- 34:15was I couldn't sense it. Okay, yeah you are to stay. Yep,
- 34:31they had Miami night too on the boat. Yeah, you're right,
- 34:37I forgot about that. That's right, totally forgot that's what Barbie was doing
- 34:43with that big tart. There was so much laying out in the salon it
- 34:45was stressing me out anyway, Miami. So boy, we pick up on
- 34:53this gondola ride from Hell Island of Dolls. Why did Julie decide to look
- 35:00and force herself to look is beyond me. She's crying. Adriana is just
- 35:06inside going to the bathroom. Well Marisol as she's like, oh, this
- 35:12is so brutal for Julia. I can't believe that. But I'm going to
- 35:15pee and make this last a lot longer. But Julia is really gonna have
- 35:17to deal, like saying all this out loud, and I'm like Marisol,
- 35:22well, Marisol does, as we all know, have a very small bladder,
- 35:25and she's always got to go peepy, so you gotta do what you
- 35:30gotta do. Close your eyes. She didn't have to look. Julia didn't
- 35:34have to look. She's like, I think this is horrific, but I
- 35:37look just to give reverence. It's like, no, you don't need to
- 35:39look at what this man did in his like insanity. Yeah, and then
- 35:46they really the witchcraft inside it just and the dolls do weird things. Sure,
- 35:54said that guy. Well, you know he was believing it. Adriana,
- 36:00she was like, yep, I mean it looked like it too.
- 36:10It was an odd uh stop on the tour. It really was. Gerdy
- 36:15and Alexei are both crying with Julia. Gerdy is puking. This was like,
- 36:24it was very reminiscent of New York when they were in that huge like
- 36:30they almost theirs their ship almost sank, remember that, of course? Of
- 36:37course, yeah, I don't know which one would be worse, to be
- 36:40honest with you, Probably the boat, because the New York one, because
- 36:45I thought there was a chance of actual death, right well anything, they
- 36:52could have died by witchcraft. Well this is true. I hadn't even put
- 36:55that together, but now that you're saying that, I think that's accurate.
- 37:00And then Lisa's like, where's my lip gloss? And she's taking selfies and
- 37:05and then that band pops up and it just was so chaotic because Gerty was
- 37:09puking, And then they all agreed to just have a moment to let Gertie
- 37:15have some quiet, which ended up being the most quiet moment ever in Housewife's
- 37:20history, only to be broken up by a like a Mraachi Band boat out
- 37:25of Nowhere, Out of Nowhere, which is witch crap in and of itself
- 37:30because it just, yeah, it just rows from the dolls. Yeah.
- 37:35And then Lisa is in her own world like selfies with the Maraachi Band on
- 37:39a different boat, like just not giving two shits about anybody or anything.
- 37:45She's having the best the worst day of her life, though Emily it's like
- 37:47one of the worst days of her life. God, how could you just
- 37:52be so disrespectful. Then they have to like call an ambulance because Gertie's so
- 37:58sick when they get to land, and then Nicole's like, I'm going to
- 38:00get in the ambulance with you. And then she's like, how much do
- 38:04you love your hair? Like can we cut it? I didn't hear that.
- 38:09Oh it was in the ambulance. Oh wow, they didn't end up
- 38:14cutting it. Nicole is so you know, she's so hospital, she's so
- 38:19er that she's like, you know, they rip, they cut people's clothes
- 38:22off, they cut people's hair to get to the problem. And she's like,
- 38:24let's cut your hair. I'm like, don't touch that hair. It's
- 38:27not in the way. Just because she's getting an ivy. Nicole calmed down,
- 38:30slow your roll. She had for an ivy. For an ivy,
- 38:37you gotta make a roof of this ivy. So we had to cut a
- 38:39pony. Where would we have been if she had cut those Later during the
- 38:46Pride parade when Gerdy came out looking amazing with those those two ponytails. Oh
- 38:52yeah, but I did feel so much better with Nicole in charge. M
- 38:58Like it was, it's like so nice. Yeah, in that moment,
- 39:02I felt so because Gertie's dealing with enough to have Nicole be able to speak
- 39:07for all of Gertie's medical requirements in that moment, and then like be able
- 39:13to get Russell on the phone, and you know, also, yeah,
- 39:17I was just like, thank god Nicole's air. Remember when Alexia is like,
- 39:22no, don't give her anything. Don't give her anything. You're not
- 39:24supposed to give him anything when the ambulance comes, because remember a long time
- 39:28ago, she was like, oh, tall, didn't I call ambulance for
- 39:31everything? No, they call the ambulance for like everything. That's a fun
- 39:40pastime. Yeah. She's like, yeah, well that's what you do.
- 39:45So she and so when she throw out that no, they don't like that.
- 39:47I'm like, yeah, listen to Alexia because she clearly knows it was
- 39:52so good. So now we are like getting ready for the Pride Parade.
- 39:59We understand about two hundred thousand people. Adriana does her performance. She does
- 40:04a great job lip syncing and being lifted by these guys and her feather wings.
- 40:08Thoughts on that, Emily, I mean, I guess yes, huh,
- 40:15I have no thoughts on it. It was a fine performance. Anybody
- 40:21that was expecting her to not lip sync was not on this planet. I
- 40:24mean, like, no, that would live in the island, but dolls.
- 40:29Yeah. Also shout out to Russell. It's nice to see husbands always
- 40:36in the light taking FaceTime calls, and he always is. He's always visible
- 40:39on a FaceTime I'm like, your Quan Dixon's or your Ryan's from the OC.
- 40:45Yeah, yeah, Well they've got other reasons to hide. Russell doesn't
- 40:49have anything to hide. He's not in the night country like the other husbands.
- 40:53Yeah, they did a good job. I mean, she did a
- 40:57good job, Adriana, and she was very pro And now afterwards, like
- 41:01basically Lisa and Keke are trying desperately to come to a place of getting over
- 41:08the gondola, the juice box, the yelling at each other, all this
- 41:12stuff is I don't think he is. So Lisa is just stupid. I
- 41:20mean, like for her to be like, don't throw anything at me.
- 41:22I mean I get your angle, which is, let's make a joke to
- 41:27try to get to another place, but let's make a different joke about not
- 41:31yeah, a joke, not about how she threw something at you, or
- 41:37like let's leave that behind, you know. And so Lisa thinking that that's
- 41:40breaking the ice is not good. And then really Larsa's like, Lisa,
- 41:47you're totally wrong. I just have to call it. You know, I
- 41:50live and die for you, but you're just like totally wrong and Kiki doesn't
- 41:53deserve this, and you're aggressive and I hate you and I'm on your side,
- 41:58but you need to apologe, you need to come correct and you're living
- 42:02in you know, she just kills you, I know. And weirdly,
- 42:07like Adriana is on Lisa's side, and I don't think she actually was.
- 42:12I think she just wanted to be a contrarian in that moment. Yeah,
- 42:16because nobody has Lisa's side, no, she no, Adriana has had Lisa's
- 42:22side. She's the only one that's had Lisa's back this whole time. I
- 42:25know, But even at this point, I'm saying, Adriana has to be
- 42:29catching the vibe that like, it's not what Lisa's doing isn't a helpful If
- 42:37they enable this process, they're making it worse for Lisa in terms of not
- 42:42voicing how how her constantly talking about it in this way is like it's not
- 42:50helpful for them or her. So like somebody's saying that is actually good feedback
- 42:54for Lisa, and Adriana knows this. But I think in the moment,
- 43:01Adrian, Adrian has been looking for a fight all season. She's starting to
- 43:06draft off everybody else. She's like, is it my number? Have they
- 43:07picked me yet? She's just pulling those Deli numbers and they just keep passing
- 43:15her by. She's like this, get me this, get my number.
- 43:20I'll take your number, Lisa, I'll take your number. I'll fight on
- 43:22this for you instead, Kiki Juice Box, I'll dare you. Yeah,
- 43:29she just give her a reason. Oh my god. So then Kiky opens
- 43:35up and she's like, here's the thing. I'm just oh, I forgot
- 43:38to say Julia is like, everybody hates you, Lisa, because you talk
- 43:45too much, talk about Lenny. You don't do anything right. Everyone's sick
- 43:51of you. They say they don't like the way you look and the way
- 43:54you talk and any problem. They don't like Jody, they don't like the
- 44:00way you walk. Like everything. She just I love. That'scus, who
- 44:08was next to Lisa at that point, going like Julia saying everything, I
- 44:14think it was it or I forget. Somebody was like it also had a
- 44:29little touch of what is there? Was it was that or something else?
- 44:34Later where it was like that you maybe it was then that you could tell
- 44:38maybe that they wanted to do that conversation at a later time, And Julia
- 44:43was like, I'm going in now. Now is that now is the time
- 44:47I've got my I've got this incredible pride eyeshadow on, and I want that
- 44:52close up like we got to have our one on one here, babe.
- 44:55It's happening. So then later after Lisa's like, I can't, I don't
- 45:01feel like partying. I need to go back. Then you know, they're
- 45:06all having like a sit down and Kiki tells her story and she's being vulnerable
- 45:09and She's just like, well, here's the thing. It's just that we
- 45:12all have burdens. I have burdens in my grip in my life. I
- 45:15don't lay them on you, which she should, you know, she should
- 45:21lay more burdens, to be honest with you. But her you, Kiki
- 45:23had kids, did you No? I'm going to take that as a no.
- 45:32You know what, I I didn't know that because she has She said
- 45:39she has two kids. Yeah. I didn't know that either. Yeah,
- 45:45and maybe there's some understanding where the kids can't be on camera or something like
- 45:49that. But I was like, oh, okay, she's got two kids,
- 45:51got it. Didn't know that. But and I love Kiki and I
- 45:57agree with her when ninety nine zero point nine percent, But if you aren't
- 46:02talking about your kids, how will Lisa know their names? But on another
- 46:10angle, I'd like to say perhaps they've talked about it off of camera,
- 46:14which I imagine that they have, and for Lisa to just be like Jim
- 46:22Jim Jimberly, you know, like she doesn't know. So it was sad
- 46:29because the second housewife is like name them, you know, and it's a
- 46:32family member, and you don't have the answer. A kid, especially Oh
- 46:37that's bad. That's really bad. That's when you do talk about the children.
- 46:40Yeah, you name them, you name them and they can they can
- 46:45beep beep it out, but like name them. Lisa was like Lenny,
- 46:52Lenny, Lennia, Lenia, Lanithia, Nini, Seni leaks. I feel
- 47:00like too. It was like, you know, Lisa, I wanted Keiki
- 47:05to go in harder about how she grew up to Lisa about like why that
- 47:09was so offensive. But then I realized in that moment, just Keky putting
- 47:15it out in a very general way, Lisa barely understood it. So in
- 47:17terms of like day to day this is why this is taxing. Yeah,
- 47:22but like on top of that, Lisa, this is how I grew up
- 47:25and you just totally railed on it. She didn't get it even when no,
- 47:32yeah, she doesn't get stuff. It doesn't like apological process. Yeah,
- 47:39because when Keky said that is how I grew up in these small kind
- 47:44of homes and and you said that the dogs weren't eating that well or whatever,
- 47:51and then Keke wasn't saying it was a bad childhood at all. And
- 47:55then Lisa goes, sorry about your childhood. I can't help your childhood trauma.
- 48:00Yeah, I'm sorry I've said anything about trauma. Yeah, everyone clocked
- 48:07it. Mm hmm. And Lisa was like unavailable, Oh, I'm sorry.
- 48:15Money not having money equals trauma. I mean there is something to be
- 48:20said in terms of poverty, and I'm not talking about Kiki. I'm talking
- 48:23about in general. With poverty comes trauma. You don't have the basics for
- 48:30life, and that is incredibly traumatizing. So but I will say that,
- 48:36like, that was not Keky's point, That was not what she was opening
- 48:42out up about. She I think a bigger point being like she is a
- 48:46single mom with two kids, and you don't know her story and you're making
- 48:52it all, you know, revolve around you, period dot and Lisa being
- 49:00so insensitive saying I can't fix your childhood trauma. I'm not a therapist.
- 49:05I would have been irate at that, And I love that Kiki was like,
- 49:08fuck you, that's what you say when I open up to you,
- 49:13Like, that's why I say that you're entitled, and then her saying maybe
- 49:17what's happening with you and Lenny is karma, and look I stand behind her.
- 49:22Rebuttal Kiki, Yes, yeah, me too, totally, and now
- 49:30Lisa will choose to make this more about like she won't just compound it and
- 49:36it'll just get like that's what she wants to do. She doesn't want it
- 49:39to She can't hear anything right now, And honestly, if she hadn't talked
- 49:46so much before about this whole situation, you know, maybe they wouldn't be
- 49:52so worn down. Like I want to stick up for Lisa in one sense
- 49:54that it does seem like it's really coming down to they are signing the papers,
- 49:59this is really it, and so that is intense. So she should
- 50:04be allowed to feel any way that she feels. I agree with her there,
- 50:07But feeling that way doesn't mean that you can't accept the fact that by
- 50:13saying the things that you say doesn't make you look entitled and doesn't hurt other
- 50:20people. You can still be aware while this is going on, and if
- 50:23you're not aware this week, then you better be aware next week. I
- 50:27hope yes, when you get a little more distance. Yeah, it'll be
- 50:30interesting to see her at the reunion, and you know they're going to play
- 50:36this back. I'm interested to see if like there's been some growth there where
- 50:40she can kind of get it. I think it's also hard because the whole
- 50:45any affair happened in front of our eyes, like in terms of the hot
- 50:50mic, and so I feel like Lisa not maybe she doesn't mean to.
- 50:58I don't know, but like is just like we are all in this together,
- 51:04Riley. When none of us were married to Lenny. We went to
- 51:07your Halloween parties, but like that does not make us involved. We did
- 51:13not sign these papers, and it's like we all cared about the hot mic
- 51:17moment. It was interesting, but at the same time, like I'm okay,
- 51:23if you can move past this, we don't have to live in that
- 51:27forever. Like I'm saying, like as the audience, Lisa, you'll you'll
- 51:30still be interesting if you can like evolve a little from that. Any last
- 51:38thoughts on Miami and Mexico City. We are at day two. There still
- 51:45am I in Mexico City only day two? Oh my god, it can't
- 51:50be. I think it is. I wrote it down. Oh, by
- 51:52the way, did you love Gertie's outfit with the hands? That was hilarious?
- 51:58Yeah, I mean it's very funny. A great place like Mexico City,
- 52:02And like you, I don't did she didn't wear did she wear to
- 52:06Pride? Yeah, yeah, I thought it was cool. I mean yeah,
- 52:08I don't think I'm going to be wearing it, but it was like
- 52:12a cool risk that works. Yeah. No, I'm going to wear it
- 52:15to Valentine's Day. I'm gonna wear it for my birthday to turn my double
- 52:22twenty fives. Cool. Cool, Thank you very much, darlings. We
