- 10:16Speaker 4: Now they short. I don't know what they're putting in
- 10:17Speaker 4: the barbecue in Texas. They are five.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I thought everything was bigger in Texas. I thought that
- 10:25Speaker 2: was so you if he's short, but the peanis big.
- 10:30Speaker 2: It's still not.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Sure when I had to tall, Texas.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Is forty but still five. There's just certain things.

- 11:22Speaker 2: Charlotte might be like the new Atlanta, like fun than
- 11:31Speaker 2: it used to be. It's way fun than it. It's like, okay,
- 11:33Speaker 2: you can get it in over here.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You know, people are not coming here to start families.
- 11:37Speaker 2: They're coming here to try to make it. I think
- 11:40Speaker 2: that's not the reason.
- 11:41Speaker 1: People in other cities where I'm from and where I've been,
- 11:44Speaker 1: they'd be like, yeah, it was forty years old.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Like I'm just not ready for a relationship, my nigga. Half
- 11:48Speaker 4: your life is over. What are you now?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Not in Atlanta? Half your life is not over.
- 11:51Speaker 4: If you're a black man at forty half, your life

- 12:09Speaker 2: this man.
- 12:10Speaker 4: You're gonna spend the other forty years. Take it with
- 12:12Speaker 4: your home playing video games with your homeboys. It's like what,
- 12:17Speaker 4: I'm just trying to find myself, Like, let me help
- 12:20Speaker 4: you retrace your steps. Where did you get lost? Let's
- 12:23Speaker 4: go back, let's.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Figure out you ain't ready to sign up for probation.
- 12:26Speaker 3: That's what marriage. Let's be real.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Marriage is kind of probation.

- 12:31Speaker 3: content with the person, you gotta you gotta want that.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Like a lot of dudes be like, like, dude, you
- 12:36Speaker 3: can't make it.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Do marriage? Be like I want to marry her. You
- 12:38Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not saying that, but I'm just that the
- 12:41Speaker 4: culture these days is like everybody just and I don't know.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Maybe for right now, but what happens ten years from now,
- 12:46Speaker 4: fifteen years from.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Now, Well they making the whole new imagine.
- 12:52Speaker 4: But you got all this money, you got all these studios,

- 12:54Speaker 2: But you're just like I would not be happy. Yeah wow,
- 12:58Speaker 2: but I started my family. That's Washington.
- 13:01Speaker 3: But you knew what you want to do though, right
- 13:03Speaker 3: you had to go. You said I want to do this.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I want to do this by this time.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And before all this stuff, I was like, wife, kids,
- 13:11Speaker 1: then comedy dreams and all.
- 13:13Speaker 4: You have a lot of dudes, I think I gotta
- 13:14Speaker 4: have it off first. So then now you are fifty
- 13:16Speaker 4: five years I.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Feel social media or society makes you as a man
- 13:20Speaker 1: a lot.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I agree with you wholeheartedly.

- 13:37Speaker 4: was like, well, have you ever seen ducks in a row?
- 13:38Speaker 4: Like basically he was like, me and my wife we
- 13:41Speaker 4: figured it out together, like we got I got to
- 13:43Speaker 4: where I'm at with her, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 13:44Speaker 4: I didn't wait till I got to this point. They
- 13:46Speaker 4: didn't gonna get somebody. So it's like that's that's.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Been a lot of men. This is just from my
- 13:52Speaker 2: experience talking with them.
- 13:53Speaker 1: They feel like they must have it and the women,
- 13:58Speaker 1: whether it's true or not, is really event. They feel
- 14:00Speaker 1: like the women aren't going to be with them through
- 14:03Speaker 1: the process. They need to come to the table.
- 14:06Speaker 4: But there's so many that dud They just be insecure
- 14:09Speaker 4: about it, are feeling a way of like, oh, I

- 14:52Speaker 2: Do you? Did you feel like you had to have
- 14:53Speaker 2: it all together?
- 14:55Speaker 3: Feel like like I felt like I was out on
- 15:00Speaker 3: the way to get in it together? You know, So
- 15:04Speaker 3: I do feel like I you know, I don't know.

- 15:11Speaker 3: was not somewhat together.
- 15:15Speaker 2: What what do you think?
- 15:18Speaker 1: What do you think you brought to the table that
- 15:20Speaker 1: she thought, okay, this is enough or you thought I
- 15:23Speaker 1: have enough to propose because you had to do the proposal.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I assume, yeah, okay, I think I think uh, I mean,
- 15:29Speaker 3: I think okay.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I think when it was proposed a time I had
- 15:32Speaker 2: it together. So what did you look at in my
- 15:34Speaker 2: life and say that I feel comfortable? I feel like,
- 15:38Speaker 2: you know, like I don't know.
- 15:40Speaker 3: When we first met, I was she claims, I was
- 15:44Speaker 3: dead broken, naked, Now I was, I was closed, but
- 15:53Speaker 3: I was I was in dire straits, you know, like
- 15:55Speaker 3: it was it was but then, but but me pulling
- 16:00Speaker 3: myself out of that to where I am now. I
- 16:03Speaker 3: think showed the potential that all right, he's onder something.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You know. He had three walls. Now he's got four walls.
- 16:12Speaker 2: You know.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a curtain. It was it was me
- 16:17Speaker 3: and then my roommate and a curtain.
- 16:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I was figured literally yeah, no, literally, it's not metaphorical walls.
- 16:25Speaker 3: This is it's not stage speaking, No, this this is
- 16:28Speaker 3: literally like, hey, there was a stairwell. You could look
- 16:30Speaker 3: down and see me sleep, you know, from upstairs. Very dangerous,
- 16:35Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Shoes are in jeopardy at all times. But you know
- 16:39Speaker 2: what I'm saying. I climbed out of that and now.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Whole apartment, whole apartment, trying to settle down. Now, once
- 16:46Speaker 3: you got that fourth wall closed, that door, come on lock.
- 16:50Speaker 2: See.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I feel like for me it was the world was different,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I believe because we was in Washington and it wasn't.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Like a job.
- 17:03Speaker 1: The job I had at the time. I was working
- 17:04Speaker 1: at the daycare. I didn't even have the bank job yet.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Actually I didn't have a job. I was in college.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I just worked at the pulip Fair in the summer
- 17:11Speaker 1: or or like a summer camp and stuff. But I
- 17:16Speaker 1: was I was gonna get a job. I felt like,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, I had. I always worked
- 17:20Speaker 1: through high school through college. But Melissa got the first
- 17:23Speaker 1: good job. She worked at the bank, and that was
- 17:25Speaker 1: the first time we went from our counting are paid
- 17:28Speaker 1: by hours to salary. I remember she was like, they
- 17:31Speaker 1: give me thirty five thousand dollars an hour. I was like, calculator,
- 17:35Speaker 1: that's crazy, and you get vacation. And I still proposed.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I was just like, I'm gonna get it. But I
- 17:41Speaker 1: think the the stakes were much lower in a shoot
- 17:46Speaker 1: I proposed in two thousand and three, the stakes were way.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Low because I was also like nineteen and Tommy is
- 17:54Speaker 2: still good and the other three.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Did you feel the pressure of being a baller because
- 17:59Speaker 3: at that time it was it's all about rims and chains.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And my neighbor had a rim shop. Okay, he had
- 18:06Speaker 1: an H two and he had a spinners on there.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So coming home and parking my Ford focus next to
- 18:13Speaker 3: that was a little dark.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Because they spent I touched him sometimes he really got
- 18:19Speaker 2: like they have the.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Ring cams and like, oh yeahs to come on, yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 3: But I didn't got no pressure, and he used to
- 18:32Speaker 3: have holes coming in and now he had probably the
- 18:35Speaker 3: most important thing you could have at that time was
- 18:38Speaker 3: an h two with rims in his own apartment.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So he was running through him and he worked at
- 18:43Speaker 1: the middle of the mass. She had the little rim
- 18:45Speaker 1: shops mid the he was dollar nineteen. No, I didn't
- 18:49Speaker 1: feel no pressure because Melissa didn't put no pressure on
- 18:51Speaker 1: me either. Like we army kids, all you really needed
- 18:55Speaker 1: was a stable job, because the army will give you
- 18:57Speaker 1: a stable job in the house.
- 18:59Speaker 2: So she's like, I can get a job, we can't
- 19:00Speaker 2: have an apartment.
- 19:01Speaker 1: But like to Camp's point, apartments weren't crazy then, but
- 19:04Speaker 1: it felt crazy. My first apartment was like five fifteen,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I believe, and that back then I was.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Like, oh my god, I'm not gonna come up with half.
- 19:12Speaker 3: I got.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Five of eight, I mean two fifty of each chap.
- 19:18Speaker 2: What am I gonna do with the other two hundred?
- 19:21Speaker 1: So but we was nobody had no money. Our whole
- 19:24Speaker 1: friend group, we was all living the same life. But
- 19:26Speaker 1: I think had I if I was starting now, I
- 19:30Speaker 1: probably wouldn't proposed.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I didn't like, I don't I don't know, I'm gonna
- 19:33Speaker 3: waste this lady time. If I was doing what I
- 19:36Speaker 3: was doing, watching too what about you running?
- 19:40Speaker 2: I proposed.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I was up when I proposed, I had just won
- 19:42Speaker 3: the Kings of Comedy competition. I was up about twenty
- 19:44Speaker 3: five grand and then I had just went I was
- 19:48Speaker 3: just booked another titter going to earth Wind and Fire
- 19:50Speaker 3: the II Brothers. And then we got married in my
- 19:53Speaker 3: mom's living room, and uh after that, I went back
- 19:56Speaker 3: on tour.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Like I. We was living in the laft.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I had a nice loft in noon, but I proposed
- 20:00Speaker 3: to have on a lunch break. I was just like,
- 20:02Speaker 3: you know, we married, and she was like, oh yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 3: then we got married.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It was like no.
- 20:07Speaker 3: We was engaged for like a year or so, and
- 20:09Speaker 3: she was just like, I guess we're gonna be engaged forever.
- 20:13Speaker 2: And I was Mary the big side, let's do it
- 20:17Speaker 2: to Marty and Ship. We're supposed to a lunch break.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We want to more.
- 20:25Speaker 4: You went up to her job at break.
- 20:26Speaker 3: No, she came home.
- 20:27Speaker 2: She was working at the daycare and she came home.
- 20:28Speaker 2: We was we was.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I had a nice loft, I had a big ass
- 20:31Speaker 3: corner lot and had like fourteen big windows.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And Ship got on one knee and was like, what's up.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Got Now this is twenty twenty two year old.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Right at twenty three, twenty two years old, Larry.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Wasn't finna do like being this ship? You want you
- 20:50Speaker 3: see what we're doing? They rid backing it, motherfucker. Yeah
- 20:56Speaker 3: like that. I got burried at White Air Force Ones
- 20:58Speaker 3: in a suit jacket and a dress shirt.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Like I know, no kid, I.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Was watching podcast.
- 21:03Speaker 2: He said.
- 21:04Speaker 4: We had chili.
- 21:05Speaker 2: My daddy cook a lot of what happened.
- 21:10Speaker 3: We went to the Justice the Piece. They wasn't They
- 21:12Speaker 3: said you can get your mass like they didn't have
- 21:14Speaker 3: a justice to the piece.
- 21:15Speaker 2: My mom. I called mom. I was like, you know,
- 21:16Speaker 2: Justice the Piece, I'm finna married it. Girl.
- 21:19Speaker 3: She said, give me a date and I was all right.
- 21:20Speaker 3: And she had set up my wife. My mom set
- 21:22Speaker 3: up a whole way. She had a real pastor come
- 21:24Speaker 3: like like everybody came.
- 21:26Speaker 2: It was like nice. It was the whole family, was it.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Her family was there and it was in my mom's
- 21:31Speaker 3: living room that they lived the house they live in
- 21:32Speaker 3: right now. We're still together eighteen years later, so you know,
- 21:36Speaker 3: it's been ups and downs in the middle of that.
- 21:38Speaker 2: But I was up up.
- 21:40Speaker 3: But I had the problem with that was when I
- 21:42Speaker 3: was younger, I thought you just had to have money.
- 21:43Speaker 3: I didn't think you had to talk to the girl
- 21:45Speaker 3: or nothing, like I got bread the fun wrong with
- 21:48Speaker 3: you while you're crying and ship like like, I just
- 21:51Speaker 3: thought you had to have money like I thought it was.
- 21:53Speaker 2: That was the only thing, like honest pain that what's
- 21:59Speaker 2: wrong with you?
- 22:01Speaker 3: Like?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Why were not you know what I'm saying? Wrong? Like
- 22:08Speaker 2: all we was taught.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Really it was just like if you ain't you ain't
- 22:11Speaker 3: got no money, you ain't ship. And my mother was like, no,
- 22:13Speaker 3: you're something. Money don't mean nothing.
- 22:15Speaker 2: It's paper.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's like you have to talk to me. You have
- 22:19Speaker 3: to find out what I want, like what I like
- 22:21Speaker 3: ship like that. I was like, oh yeah, that what
- 22:24Speaker 3: you're doing earlier, man, just walking, just playing video games,
- 22:27Speaker 3: fucking buying shoes and jewelry.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I'm going to them all again by.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Let me get let me get nine pair fo ones white, black, red, blue,
- 22:41Speaker 3: like I was in.
- 22:43Speaker 2: My own ship, you know what I'm saying.
- 22:46Speaker 3: And then I was still going out every weekend, but
- 22:47Speaker 3: I was doing like I was over the Firth wind
- 22:49Speaker 3: and Fire every night.
- 22:50Speaker 2: It was like twenty thousand people.
- 22:51Speaker 3: So I like my ego is like when you talking
- 22:55Speaker 3: to Earth Wind and Fire and the Isle of Brothers
- 22:57Speaker 3: about backstage, like I was talking and I was just
- 23:00Speaker 3: talking about I was Bernie and White was amazing dog.
- 23:03Speaker 3: He this motherfucker was seventy back then. He's like one
- 23:06Speaker 3: hundred and nine. He was seventy back then. Jordan's Berdie
- 23:12Speaker 3: Philip Bailey all the time. Philip Batley had a son
- 23:14Speaker 3: with him. His son looked a little older than him.
- 23:16Speaker 3: But I was like, man, my mom, love that song
- 23:18Speaker 3: with you and Phil Collins and they talked. But the
- 23:20Speaker 3: thing about what if I learned is that they was professional.
- 23:23Speaker 3: They get into their contract, say we are in and
- 23:25Speaker 3: outloaded back on the truck by nine o'clock. I don't
- 23:28Speaker 3: give a fuck what happened? We in do our show.
- 23:31Speaker 3: They got first, They rocked that bitch. They used to
- 23:34Speaker 3: burn the ship out of the IY brother They used
- 23:35Speaker 3: to tag the IY brothers.
- 23:38Speaker 2: They used I can say it now.
- 23:39Speaker 3: It was O three. They used to fuck the I brother.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I'm talking about the stadium. And then he come mister
- 23:48Speaker 3: big as old ass in the back with handlers like
- 23:51Speaker 3: he looked cool, but he can't see nothing. He got
- 23:53Speaker 3: them girls because he couldn't see nothing, and they said
- 23:56Speaker 3: started out real slow and with all that r Kelly
- 23:58Speaker 3: mister big ship.
- 23:59Speaker 2: But the crowd was like what the.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Fuck like And they used to have to like get
- 24:05Speaker 3: them up to the stage, and then by the time
- 24:07Speaker 3: it got gone, it was like, but they got a
- 24:09Speaker 3: lot of slow ship. But when the fire, everybody's up
- 24:11Speaker 3: doing cardio. But I would have to go out before
- 24:15Speaker 3: all them. But it was like it was a comedy
- 24:17Speaker 3: sofas it was.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Like Tom Jordan twenty three, I was and Jesse were
- 24:25Speaker 2: the openers. I got contracted to do five minutes. I
- 24:28Speaker 2: think I was making like three grand a night for
- 24:31Speaker 2: five minutes. And then I get there. They'd be like,
- 24:33Speaker 2: you got two all right, one joke, honey.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Bun hey three and they still pay you the three?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Hell yeah they had, And I had got deposit before
- 24:42Speaker 3: for all the dates I was up, I was like
- 24:44Speaker 3: walking around around with like eighteen hundred on me, Like,
- 24:46Speaker 3: why what you said?
- 24:50Speaker 2: I thought y'all had said something to that.
- 24:53Speaker 3: I was, I seen it last night, But what's up?
- 24:59Speaker 2: What what you want? Eighteen on me at all time?
- 25:05Speaker 2: And I don't leave the house without eighteen eighteen hundred
- 25:09Speaker 2: on me in a Bonneville.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I still about a new car I got like ninety three,
- 25:13Speaker 3: just run good to say I can run thought that ship.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and then about about a call. I had a couple.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I bought a lot of cars. But you know, you know,
- 25:22Speaker 2: you can lose. I lost it all, got it back.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Then you had to reinvent.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I had to reinvent myself start doing the colleges and
- 25:27Speaker 3: then booked a bunch of o's and then you know
- 25:30Speaker 3: back but I was gone a lot. So it was
- 25:31Speaker 3: like I had to make sure I was cultivating what
- 25:35Speaker 3: was at the house because you know, we almost got
- 25:36Speaker 3: didorced ten times.
- 25:37Speaker 2: So you know, I was marriage our podcast by.
- 25:41Speaker 3: We probably don't because if we don't come back together,
- 25:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna beat your ass.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna be like, yeah, we were straight before we
- 25:46Speaker 2: came to you. Goddamn said to start walking und me
- 25:59Speaker 2: because they got the pat They walking in front of me, Like.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Ah a minute, me like that. So how did you
- 26:05Speaker 3: lose it all and get it back?
- 26:06Speaker 2: What happened? IRIS pulled up? What's oh right? I got
- 26:11Speaker 2: all of it.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I got out of it, and I had to pay
- 26:13Speaker 3: like I was on a monthly payment thing with the
- 26:15Speaker 3: I R S. And then you know, just got just
- 26:18Speaker 3: you know, life ship happened. You know what I'm saying,
- 26:20Speaker 3: I have no kids that at this time, I didn't have
- 26:22Speaker 3: no kids.
- 26:22Speaker 2: We were just living. You know what I'm saying.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I ain't have no idea credited a concept of like
- 26:27Speaker 3: saving or nothing.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It was just like you was just buying air force
- 26:30Speaker 2: do your ship? You fucking them funks up?
- 26:33Speaker 3: That's what voice in your head get me as a
- 26:36Speaker 3: girl like.
- 26:39Speaker 2: You on your ship? Ain't you different?
- 26:45Speaker 3: Rob's voices like drive sixty five? Don't you go logically
- 26:49Speaker 3: a mile over it? Yours is like nigga, what the speed?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Look were doing it? They tried you over there, you
- 26:55Speaker 2: say and Q and got eighteen hundred? Nigga? Right? What
- 27:02Speaker 2: is your boy? Say? Gosh is distructed?
- 27:10Speaker 3: That's the old boy said. You know what the boy
- 27:13Speaker 3: said when you got out of there.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Damn, but it got your head.
- 27:16Speaker 4: You don't have no part accountability.
- 27:18Speaker 2: The voice just us and.
- 27:23Speaker 3: They got you dirty am out the.
- 27:30Speaker 4: First him like, I.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Don't know what to tell you, but I ain't never
- 27:34Speaker 3: been in this. I just figured out.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Ronnie had been turned up for a long time. Y'all.
- 27:50Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Like I don't.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I had eighteen lives and probably about five for real,
- 27:54Speaker 3: but it's just man, I was I was the era,
- 27:57Speaker 3: right before social media and right before they started doing
- 28:00Speaker 3: and because Rdny Parry explained it to to somebody else
- 28:03Speaker 3: and I was like, that makes sense. He was like,
- 28:05Speaker 3: you know, when I was supposed to pop or whatever
- 28:07Speaker 3: the pop was, it was like you get a a pilot.
- 28:11Speaker 3: You know, they was just showcase, hold deal three hundred thousands.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I thought that was the track because Cory Oakman did
- 28:16Speaker 3: it four five times and that was my boy.
- 28:18Speaker 2: And I'm like, I know I'm gonna do that ship.
- 28:20Speaker 3: But then write a strike happened, everything stopped, Reality TV
- 28:25Speaker 3: take off, and now you got to figure out something,
- 28:27Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 28:28Speaker 2: But we about to roll into another right strike and
- 28:31Speaker 2: roll it into that. I got the fourth. I don't know.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I think I can ride the strike out. You know,
- 28:41Speaker 2: you know they tell your.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Local club, have me in your town. The countlendar looking
- 28:48Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, seeing a lot of numbers,
- 28:51Speaker 3: need more dots.
- 28:53Speaker 4: That's also what I'm not supposed to. Let want to
- 28:54Speaker 4: call it Ridney And he was like, don't do it,
- 28:56Speaker 4: and I.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Was like, parent, tell you, but he been just like
- 28:59Speaker 3: the think you been out of It's like twenty twelve.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Shit. Good for you though. You have people who was
- 29:05Speaker 2: like they say what you want?
- 29:06Speaker 3: No, we care about you, We want you to succeed
- 29:08Speaker 3: and bes you gotta be rich, auntie. If you Donna
- 29:11Speaker 3: got him to do it, we need you, We need
- 29:12Speaker 3: you gonna get your bag first and then decide to
- 29:14Speaker 3: deal one of these peons when you feel like.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Before we go, what was the voice in your head? Like,
- 29:21Speaker 1: I haven't determined it yet.
- 29:22Speaker 4: I don't know the voice in my head, believe it
- 29:28Speaker 4: or not. The voice in my head is actually more
- 29:31Speaker 4: like Rob Go sixty five. I just don't listen to her.
- 29:34Speaker 4: The voice of my head is probably more logical than
- 29:36Speaker 4: my Most of my actions should reckless.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I'll be like, birl, that's.
- 29:41Speaker 4: How the of my head thinks about things, thinks ahead
- 29:43Speaker 4: of like if you do this, then that, and I'd
- 29:45Speaker 4: be like, but the.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Voice in you is.
- 29:47Speaker 4: Like nah, yeah, damn ata.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Have cognitive dissonance between the voice and you. He just
- 29:55Speaker 2: diagnosed you said polar.
- 30:01Speaker 3: But to be clear, my voice does not sound like
- 30:03Speaker 3: that today. In my you know head now it's the
- 30:07Speaker 3: voice gone. It's more like he reformed. He's like talking
- 30:15Speaker 3: like this, maam. What we got to do is know
- 30:18Speaker 3: most of my boys in my head is like, what
- 30:20Speaker 3: would your sons think? Like, how see how you're gonna leave.
- 30:23Speaker 2: It for them?
- 30:24Speaker 3: You know what when they see this tape again, what
- 30:26Speaker 3: is it gonna what they're gonna take from this? How
- 30:27Speaker 3: they're gonna be able to you know ship like that.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I kind of think about my kids and my the
- 30:31Speaker 3: legacy is it's all about them. Because my little boy
- 30:34Speaker 3: he want to be like me so bad, and I'm like,
- 30:36Speaker 3: I can't be sucking up because he's like he got
- 30:40Speaker 3: he's got his own merchant school. This is his clothing line.
- 30:43Speaker 3: He made up loved this is myself really, this is
- 30:45Speaker 3: his clothing line.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He made it up.
- 30:48Speaker 3: From dot com and get your love. What does he say?
- 30:52Speaker 3: And fearless loved and fearless? Okay, okay, but he got
- 30:57Speaker 3: trying to get him in bad school.
- 30:58Speaker 2: The principal was.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Like, he can't wear the blessed the f anymore, saying
- 31:02Speaker 3: why he was like, I said, did you ask him
- 31:04Speaker 3: what it's still for? And then she asked me, it's
- 31:07Speaker 3: a blessed and fearless and I was like, yeah, that's
- 31:08Speaker 3: his own business. Like fuck, y'all, you know what. I'm
- 31:13Speaker 3: all right, so you can't say, but you know my kind,
- 31:21Speaker 3: I'm like, you know, you gotta say, you got these
- 31:23Speaker 3: principals to be an entrepreneur, you got to have some
- 31:26Speaker 3: element of danger to you that you got to have
- 31:28Speaker 3: some type of fuck it like walking.
- 31:29Speaker 2: My daddy was like, he'll walk off a job in
- 31:31Speaker 2: a minute. I'm like, all you absolutely have.
- 31:33Speaker 3: You got to have some because you know, people try
- 31:35Speaker 3: to play you for your worth a lot, and it's
- 31:37Speaker 3: like you got to color outside the lines. You have
- 31:40Speaker 3: to make the new blueprint. You have to make up
- 31:43Speaker 3: the lanes every time. Like every pandemic made me re
- 31:46Speaker 3: structure everything. It's like, oh, I can make money at
- 31:49Speaker 3: home on his back porch. Okay, got it, We'll do that,
- 31:52Speaker 3: and then I just wear my merchant. I was doing
- 31:55Speaker 3: it anyway, but I wasn't sending them people. I wasn't
- 31:58Speaker 3: taking my fan base and saying go here and.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Do this.
- 32:02Speaker 3: If you could find it, you know what I'm saying, Like, oh,
- 32:05Speaker 3: you can build your website and put it up. Well,
- 32:11Speaker 3: everybody was wearing them. I was selling them hand to hand.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Was like, motherfucker was checking the tags on them like
- 32:16Speaker 3: people know about them. Blessed their shirts and jump Man.
- 32:20Speaker 3: I had the fat jump Man with my body on
- 32:22Speaker 3: it that was so crazy. And I had another shirt
- 32:24Speaker 3: that say that Jesus, I hate you a lot. I
- 32:26Speaker 3: used to jeeze like g Z. It's like the run
- 32:30Speaker 3: dm C logo because I used to say it that
- 32:31Speaker 3: my seat a lot on my colleage said Jesus, I
- 32:33Speaker 3: hate you. I had instead I hate I had the
- 32:34Speaker 3: heart with the Ghostbuster sign, and it's all pretty good.
- 32:38Speaker 2: You're saying g Z, like Jesus geez, okay, jeez, Jesus Jesus,
- 32:45Speaker 2: but like Jesus, I hate us.
- 32:48Speaker 3: No, no, no, geez, like you like like an exclamation
- 32:50Speaker 3: point instead of over.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm saying I'm all that. I'm all that.
- 32:58Speaker 5: You know.
- 32:58Speaker 3: I lived in the hood and the supper, you know,
- 33:00Speaker 3: so it's like it is what it is, you know, geez,
- 33:03Speaker 3: because I'm the dude that was around, Like my cousin
- 33:06Speaker 3: was bad, but I had to go to class and
- 33:08Speaker 3: do what I was supposed to do. I know, you know,
- 33:12Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying it's balance, it's duality.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Somebody on Patreon said the merchant is official blessed af
- 33:17Speaker 1: dot com, bless your favorite or blessed fearless, whatever.
- 33:21Speaker 3: You needed to be letters on that shirt and whatever
- 33:24Speaker 3: is in your dirty mind feeling all.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Right, before we go, random question. Generally we're gonna start
- 33:29Speaker 1: Rob Hayes this time. Okay, what do you think is
- 33:31Speaker 1: the most complex aspect about yourself?
- 33:35Speaker 3: The most complex aspect about itself? Probably, like, like I'm
- 33:46Speaker 3: like a sponge and so I like, you know, I'm
- 33:50Speaker 3: constantly trying to learn more information, constantly like reading, like
- 33:56Speaker 3: you know, watching docs and and different stuff. So I
- 33:59Speaker 3: would say that's probably the most complex. What's your what's
- 34:02Speaker 3: your what's your doc of preference? You have a certain
- 34:05Speaker 3: category that interest you more than the others.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I like learning, like I like, give me the information.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Don't don't be editorializing, don't be all gossip, be you know,
- 34:15Speaker 3: telling me about people's business.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Give me. I'll do that.
- 34:19Speaker 3: I'll you know, make my assumptions, edit, editorialize myself.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Just give me the info. Got it all. Doot your bias.
- 34:29Speaker 2: That's somebody trying to tell a story. At least try
- 34:34Speaker 2: to go to the other side.
- 34:36Speaker 3: There's others that are like, no, hey, we ain't getting
- 34:38Speaker 3: you outside. I'm sorry, it's just it's just one side
- 34:42Speaker 3: of two hours good luck. That's like I watched it.
- 34:46Speaker 3: You've seen Luke Longley doc.
- 34:47Speaker 2: No, I've only got a doc on YouTube. It's like Australian.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Uh. That's what Tyler be making fun of me, because
- 34:54Speaker 3: I watch any doc as well. I watched because it's
- 34:56Speaker 3: like the roster. It's like last this would said the
- 35:04Speaker 3: reason Luke Longeley was left off Last Dance, and I
- 35:06Speaker 3: was like.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Well, let me say this.
- 35:07Speaker 3: You know they never plays, and Michael Jordan was left
- 35:14Speaker 3: off to lonely have to win the championship though, like
- 35:18Speaker 3: but but Michael Jordan's actually came like did a drop
- 35:21Speaker 3: for Louke lonely?
- 35:22Speaker 2: Like my bad she missed.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Said miss that, but he did a little drop for him.
- 35:31Speaker 2: There was five episodes. Bro the iPad went my bad
- 35:37Speaker 2: Last Dance.
- 35:39Speaker 3: If you saw I should have changed, I should have
- 35:42Speaker 3: my bag if I would have learned a lot. Lonely
- 35:46Speaker 3: lonely basically said Michael Jorones' asshole in so many words,
- 35:49Speaker 3: that's all saying.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Michael Jordan was not the nicest.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Michael Jordan doesn't do anything to dispel that when he
- 35:56Speaker 3: talks like you gotta let it go, Like no, what
- 35:59Speaker 3: you me, I gotta let go.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Let's play one on one right now. I mean he
- 36:03Speaker 2: in the.
- 36:03Speaker 3: House by I'm I don't nobody visit him. I know
- 36:05Speaker 3: he's wife, don't even around money.
- 36:08Speaker 2: You're still mad. He's still mad. He played the chips.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Him and Thomas still going out on Twitter saying, uh,
- 36:18Speaker 3: need shut up, needs to talk more.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:21Speaker 3: I like it because he's been setting the record straight. Yeah,
- 36:23Speaker 3: the boys I stay home and m J need to
- 36:25Speaker 3: play against each other, right Star weekend one on.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Right now, just this age.
- 36:31Speaker 3: You know, you know how they were trained for that.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Somebody gonna hurt something that's gonna turn to dust.
- 36:39Speaker 2: That is gonna have the snap.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Crawl.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Still trying to said, Michael Jordan's get mad and go
- 36:47Speaker 3: in hornets practice and be dogging. He said, he really
- 36:52Speaker 3: somebody like y'all sorry as hell. That's why he's talking
- 36:58Speaker 3: in there. What about you. That's the most complex aspect
- 37:01Speaker 3: about Keisha.
- 37:06Speaker 4: That's tough. I think it's I would say either two things.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Either one. I'm a little bit of a lot of things,
- 37:15Speaker 4: and sometimes I make it hard because I'm very much
- 37:17Speaker 4: old school in the new school world. But like I
- 37:20Speaker 4: like trap music, but I'm also like this is very like,
- 37:23Speaker 4: oh my gosh, is what you guys are doing?
- 37:24Speaker 3: You know?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Computer?
- 37:26Speaker 4: Yea, my mind just the way my mind works a lot,
- 37:30Speaker 4: and I'm very indecisive, and that's on the smallest things,
- 37:34Speaker 4: like I pick up a move to Atlanta real quick.
- 37:36Speaker 2: But if you got a small thing.
- 37:37Speaker 4: No, I'm saying I'm indecisive on the small things.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I know, got it, got it? Got it?
- 37:42Speaker 4: Like what kind of juice you want? And I'm like
- 37:46Speaker 4: every woman though, yeah, a little stuff.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Like that, got it?
- 37:51Speaker 3: What about you, Ronnie Jordan? I think everything is complex
- 37:54Speaker 3: about me. I think all of it just just balancing everything,
- 37:59Speaker 3: you know, work, wife, kids, trying to be funny, trying
- 38:02Speaker 3: to appeal to college kids.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Ain't grown up. It's like it got you gotta, you gotta.
- 38:06Speaker 3: It's like a dance going on in your head at
- 38:08Speaker 3: all times of like saying something and trying to figure
- 38:11Speaker 3: out the next thing.
- 38:11Speaker 2: I can't do the college kids.
- 38:13Speaker 3: I just did Alabama and then the other day and
- 38:15Speaker 3: it was like that first five was like they are
- 38:17Speaker 3: then I kind of got up out of that.
- 38:19Speaker 2: But yeah, it's just it's a it's a strategy to
- 38:22Speaker 2: I don't know, we don't relate no more. That's what
- 38:24Speaker 2: it is.
- 38:25Speaker 4: They were teaching me things. They were like, when we
- 38:27Speaker 4: want to holler that girl, we just send her an email.
- 38:28Speaker 2: And they don't do none of the stuff we did
- 38:30Speaker 2: as kids.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Yeah, like it's it's it's whatever her name is at
- 38:33Speaker 4: whatever the school thing is. And I was like, and
- 38:35Speaker 4: then I was like, ladyes y'all response to this, it
- 38:36Speaker 4: was like, I mean sometimes I said, and then what
- 38:39Speaker 4: and then we might like do a zoom and then
- 38:42Speaker 4: what we might like meeting in the cafeteria, but we
- 38:44Speaker 4: don't really sit together. And I was like, this is
- 38:45Speaker 4: why y'all are retarded. This is why this generation is retarded.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Retarded. Twice I thought you was gonna get.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Long, bleak, like I have anxiety.
- 39:10Speaker 2: You was like you we got to come together after
- 39:14Speaker 2: the hangover. People were telling each other, Oh, that's how frustrated.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but see are you done?
- 39:22Speaker 4: Yes? Yes.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I think the most complex thing about me is I
- 39:27Speaker 1: have that Jordan complex that people might not think because
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'm more smiley, but i'd be taking things personal. I
- 39:34Speaker 1: put chips on my shoulder that are not there.
- 39:37Speaker 2: I create.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I am fighting against Hollywood. I never even really tried
- 39:41Speaker 1: to get in. I had like three auditions and not
- 39:43Speaker 1: evenet booked. That was like everything will burn people Like today.
- 39:47Speaker 2: I'm glad.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I'm glad you chose there was no real reason like
- 39:52Speaker 3: Michael Jordan's documentary, the stories he was creating.
- 39:54Speaker 1: The dudes like I didn't even see you the ground.
- 39:57Speaker 2: I heard you said, good game.
- 39:59Speaker 5: Mit, This is not a reason to be upset your.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Man, you were crazy because you said, what are you
- 40:15Speaker 2: talking about? Like that? Though casting directord don'took me once?
- 40:19Speaker 2: What was your name?
- 40:22Speaker 1: I'll show you like and they don't really need to
- 40:25Speaker 1: be like that, but it creates my own fire.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I need to overcome. That's what gives me my power.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I have to be destroying somebody.
- 40:35Speaker 1: That's why I can never get to the top because
- 40:37Speaker 1: I just create new and be Jeff Bezos.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Still you think I can't sell the packages. You can't.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I can't go to space. Got to be a boss.
- 40:46Speaker 3: You gotta have the people that with you do the
- 40:48Speaker 3: dirty work, getting the mud. You know what I'm saying,
- 40:51Speaker 3: Like like like Rob, you get out there, you get them,
- 40:54Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 40:58Speaker 2: But once I get there, get them.
- 41:01Speaker 3: When I get up there, if we give you enough notice,
- 41:04Speaker 3: I'll get the time to get them.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Because when I get hitting man, it is not a
- 41:13Speaker 2: bad premise. That is like a polite killing is the
- 41:16Speaker 2: older crime. He'll commit the other one.
- 41:18Speaker 3: He's like picking up and I'm the killer, not a
- 41:22Speaker 3: krimlinal in the you know what I'm saying.
- 41:24Speaker 2: To a stop before the white line. But I gotta
- 41:27Speaker 2: kill you. But he feeds the home with vegan food
- 41:30Speaker 2: and ship man, Hey, h many many all right there?
- 41:39Speaker 2: Kill you in the card again.
- 41:40Speaker 3: I don't want to get murdered by somebody wearing a car,
- 41:43Speaker 3: somebody weapons.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Right here.
- 41:49Speaker 4: That's what we didn't eating not. We don't like the
- 41:55Speaker 4: saint kind of you know, like he's the opposite of Franklins.
- 41:58Speaker 2: He's the light skinned, well us polite.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Seeing Rob with the new Jayson checking out a card again,
- 42:05Speaker 3: like oh I got that, this one got color proud.
- 42:08Speaker 2: I mean he's wearing it with a white tea. That's
- 42:11Speaker 2: absolutely all right.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Appreciate y'all. If you're watching on Patreon, what you are?
- 42:15Speaker 1: We love y'all. We love all you guys. You know,

- 42:29Speaker 3: Appreciate thank you'll. Yeah, I met the hand of Patreon
- 42:32Speaker 3: and didn't even do nothing. I was like, I got you,
- 42:34Speaker 3: I thank you.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Thought about the whole nother south By Southwest has happening.
- 42:39Speaker 3: You just remember he was like, oh, I met the
- 42:42Speaker 3: head of that company.
- 42:45Speaker 2: We appreciate y'all. We love y'all.
- 42:47Speaker 1: If you want to spend stories, we usually talk about them,
- 42:50Speaker 1: but today we talked about We didn't do talking about
- 42:53Speaker 1: Atlanta Internet at Kevil on stage. You have stories to cement.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Otherwise you just pull up for the hangout. It's is
- 43:00Speaker 1: a good time. You ain't working anyway, you want to
- 43:02Speaker 1: be there. Electricians hit up uh in the commons electrical.
- 43:08Speaker 3: You're gonna do, cut the power off to the breaker
- 43:12Speaker 3: box and fix the thing when you cut it back off.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Email Keishad Alabama is so fun. You should Alabama And
