- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven to TENO.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey bye, Yeah, are you getting used to this nine
- 0:11Speaker 2: o'clock start?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Uh?
- 0:15Speaker 2: You are. We're at nine o'clock till noon weekday, nine
- 0:19Speaker 2: to noon. A lot to get to. We'll get to Iran,
- 0:23Speaker 2: We'll get to those data centers. Now, why exactly do
- 0:26Speaker 2: they make so much noise? How much noise do they
- 0:29Speaker 2: we'll get to all of that coming up, and we'll
- 0:32Speaker 2: get to the ballroom. It's back underway. We'll get to
- 0:35Speaker 2: crazy Mom Donnie, but you hear his latest schemes. We'll
- 0:39Speaker 2: get to Harry and Meghan. We'll get to the they've
- 0:45Speaker 2: run out of attacks apparently at MSNBC on Trump. They've
- 0:48Speaker 2: just run out of stuff. So we'll go over what
- 0:51Speaker 2: the attack is all day today from those crazies over there. So, yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 2: the ballroom construction is back underway. You know that a
- 1:00Speaker 2: judge had ordered it halted, but I guess it was
- 1:05Speaker 2: the Supreme Court. It was Justice Roberts himself unhaulted the halt,
- 1:10Speaker 2: ruling that they can continue with the ballroom. Now. The
- 1:12Speaker 2: problem is if for the left, you know, if the
- 1:16Speaker 2: city of the state of the government is building something. Well,
- 1:19Speaker 2: that ballroom could take five years to build. But this
- 1:22Speaker 2: is one of the great builders in America, a really
- 1:24Speaker 2: professional builder. He can build this thing in five weeks.
- 1:28Speaker 2: So as long as they keep that halt going, construction
- 1:31Speaker 2: is going on. They got some like two hundred and
- 1:34Speaker 2: thirty workers working on this twenty hours a day. Well, remember,
- 1:40Speaker 2: you can work at night there. You can't work at night.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You can't work after five o'clock if you're going to
- 1:46Speaker 2: disturb people who are living there. But the only people
- 1:49Speaker 2: living there the president. Well actually there's some staff that
- 1:54Speaker 2: lives there, but the president's the only one. It's his house.
- 1:57Speaker 2: He lives there. And this happens to be a president
- 1:59Speaker 2: who who loves the sound of construction noise. It's music
- 2:04Speaker 2: to his ears. His life is construction. So they're working
- 2:07Speaker 2: about twenty hours a day. You'll be surprised if this
- 2:11Speaker 2: goes to another court and they try to stop it,
- 2:13Speaker 2: how much of it it'll practically be there by the
- 2:15Speaker 2: time they get another judge to rule on. It's eleven
- 2:18Speaker 2: thousand square feet and underneath will be a massive military
- 2:25Speaker 2: complex and situation room and bunker and all that. The
- 2:30Speaker 2: one they currently have now is. It's not adequate. It's very,
- 2:34Speaker 2: very very outdated, and it'll be replaced by this new bunker,
- 2:39Speaker 2: this new situation room, much more advanced, much more secure.
- 2:43Speaker 2: And then the roof of the ballroom will have a
- 2:46Speaker 2: drone center on top where they can launch drones, defensive drones,
- 2:50Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff in case of an attack. President
- 2:53Speaker 2: very happy, loves construction.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I just want to thank the Supreme Court and the
- 2:59Speaker 4: Chief Justice, and we have a ruling that it's proceed.
- 3:04Speaker 4: When they say proceed, I think that's a good thing.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, now one of the MSNBC attacks all morning, it'll
- 3:11Speaker 2: be all day to day. The President is bored. He's
- 3:15Speaker 2: so bored. He's not focused anymore. He's just doing construction projects.
- 3:20Speaker 2: This is the line you're going to hear a lot of,
- 3:22Speaker 2: even in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the
- 3:24Speaker 2: Peggy Noonan column. All his time now is construction projects,
- 3:29Speaker 2: which of course is absolutely ridiculous. I got a schedule
- 3:31Speaker 2: for the day right here. There's dozens of meetings, policy meetings,
- 3:36Speaker 2: all sorts of important. Construction is like a half hour
- 3:40Speaker 2: an hour a day at the most. You know that
- 3:43Speaker 2: he held a press conference to show off the new helipad,
- 3:45Speaker 2: the heliport. Look at that, he's just focused on construction.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It was twenty minutes of showing the heliport. Do you
- 3:52Speaker 2: know why they had to build that heliport. First of all,
- 3:56Speaker 2: these helicopters, the marine one military type helicopters, they're getting
- 4:02Speaker 2: hotter and hotter and more powerful. And they're so hot
- 4:06Speaker 2: and powerful that when they land, they burn up the grass.
- 4:09Speaker 2: They just burn it out. So to protect the grass
- 4:12Speaker 2: they got, they're gonna build this heliport. Also, it's a
- 4:15Speaker 2: safer landing on something solid. But I've never noticed this
- 4:18Speaker 2: till the President explained it all these years. When you
- 4:21Speaker 2: see it land on the grass, it's not really landing
- 4:24Speaker 2: on the grass. They put down these steel plates for them,
- 4:28Speaker 2: you know, one for each set of tires. So the
- 4:31Speaker 2: pilot when he lands, you know, when it comes down,
- 4:33Speaker 2: it kind of looks a little shaky, like's moving a
- 4:36Speaker 2: little back and forth. What that is he's trying to
- 4:38Speaker 2: hit those steel pads. They call him tablets, but they're
- 4:42Speaker 2: just big steel pads. And he has to put the
- 4:44Speaker 2: wheels on those steel pads. So as he's coming down,
- 4:47Speaker 2: he's got a maneuver and move around trying to hit
- 4:50Speaker 2: those pads. It's a ridiculous system. And I don't know
- 4:53Speaker 2: why nobody built this helipad before. So now you got
- 4:56Speaker 2: a beautiful heliport, you'll have the ballroom and and doing
- 5:00Speaker 2: this kind of construction. You know, I know, you're not
- 5:04Speaker 2: supposed to do this at the White House. You know,
- 5:06Speaker 2: during Harry Truman's time, the White House started to crumble.
- 5:11Speaker 2: His daughter played the piano, so they had a big,
- 5:13Speaker 2: big piano put up in the residence. And at one
- 5:17Speaker 2: point she's playing and it starts to fall through the
- 5:19Speaker 2: floor of the White House. It starts crashing through the floor.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And then they came up there and they examined the floor.
- 5:25Speaker 2: They realized the building was crumbling. It was like the
- 5:27Speaker 2: original plaster from one hundred years ago. So Truman had
- 5:32Speaker 2: to move out of the White House for three years
- 5:34Speaker 2: while they gutted the entire White House. The entire White
- 5:39Speaker 2: House was gutted. There was nothing but the outer walls,
- 5:41Speaker 2: and then they had to rebuild the whole thing with
- 5:43Speaker 2: modern day steel and all of that. So it's not unusual.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I know, it's hallowed ground. And the President mentioned that
- 5:49Speaker 2: with the ballroom.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Being built on the hallowed grounds of our cherished White House,
- 5:54Speaker 4: which is so vital for national security, will be It's
- 5:58Speaker 4: going to be the greatest of its kind anywhere that's
- 6:02Speaker 4: ever been built.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, as long as you got a guy in
- 6:06Speaker 2: office who happens to be one of the greatest builders
- 6:09Speaker 2: in America and a guy who's built a dozens hundreds
- 6:12Speaker 2: of ballrooms, he owns hotels, clubs, ballrooms everywhere, let him
- 6:16Speaker 2: do it. Well, you have Joe Biden build the ball
- 6:19Speaker 2: I mentioned Biden trying to read blueprints. Imagine Biden picking
- 6:23Speaker 2: out construction materials. So, hey, by the way, Bedminster, you
- 6:28Speaker 2: know that's his golf club in New Jersey, Bedminster, New Jersey.
- 6:32Speaker 2: They're going to get a ballroom. He just got it approved.
- 6:35Speaker 2: New Jersey came through and approved plans for an eleven
- 6:37Speaker 2: thousand square foot ballroom. It's not as big as this
- 6:41Speaker 2: White House one. It's eleven thousand square feet that could
- 6:44Speaker 2: hold up to comfortably a thousand, but you could get
- 6:47Speaker 2: fifteen hundred in there. So they're going to build a big,
- 6:50Speaker 2: huge ballroom now at Bedminster. That means they can do
- 6:52Speaker 2: weddings and they can do all kinds of events now
- 6:56Speaker 2: in exchange for that, and the President does do a
- 7:00Speaker 2: lot of fundraisers there. But for the area, you'll be
- 7:03Speaker 2: able to do all sorts of stuff, their weddings, that
- 7:06Speaker 2: kind of stuff. But they're going to build an additional
- 7:09Speaker 2: parking lot for the ballroom. They're going to expand the
- 7:12Speaker 2: sewer system to support the ballroom, and it should be finished.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Oh I'm not going to start till twenty twenty seven.
- 7:19Speaker 2: But again it's Trump, it's not the government, so it'll
- 7:21Speaker 2: be built in a few months, not ten years like
- 7:24Speaker 2: the government would take. So hey, Iran. Now, the New
- 7:29Speaker 2: York Post can be very critical of Donald Trump. They're
- 7:32Speaker 2: not the biggest Trump boosters. I mean, when he's right,
- 7:34Speaker 2: they'll say it. When he's wrong, they'll say it. So
- 7:36Speaker 2: they're pretty fair at the New York Post, big editorial
- 7:39Speaker 2: today that the President is winning the war. He is winning,
- 7:45Speaker 2: And they make the case because all of the intelligence
- 7:47Speaker 2: from the US from Israel showing that Iran is like
- 7:52Speaker 2: two seconds from total collapse. The economic damage the straight
- 7:57Speaker 2: of horn Moose is closed only to them. It's open
- 7:59Speaker 2: for US, closed to them. So they've had no oil sales,
- 8:03Speaker 2: losing like four hundred and fifty million a day. The
- 8:06Speaker 2: country is totally broke. Inflation has hit now, listen to this.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Inflation in Iran has hit nine hundred percent nine hundred percent.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Oh wait, I'm reading that wrong. Ninety percent ninety percent, Okay,
- 8:21Speaker 2: it's not ninety percent ninety percent, And there's absolutely no
- 8:28Speaker 2: income coming in. People are starving, people are crazy. They're
- 8:31Speaker 2: stealing food whenever they have to. The whole government. Everything's
- 8:35Speaker 2: within a few inches of collapse. I know. You see
- 8:37Speaker 2: the guy on TV, the Iranian Supreme Council leader, and
- 8:41Speaker 2: he's got whole kinds of metals in the uniform. He's
- 8:44Speaker 2: working out of a cave. I mean, it's basically in
- 8:46Speaker 2: a cave running this thing. So just keep it up now.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Scott Bessett, Treasury Secretary, later today will announce a whole
- 8:53Speaker 2: new round of sanctions on Iran. I don't know what
- 8:56Speaker 2: they are. He'll announce him a little later today and
- 8:59Speaker 2: that should be the fun'll blow to Iran and people
- 9:02Speaker 2: think there are weeks away from collapse. Straight of Hoorn
- 9:04Speaker 2: Moose is open, by the way, It's been open for
- 9:08Speaker 2: weeks and weeks and weeks now now we're getting about
- 9:10Speaker 2: two hundred ships a week through there the numbers about
- 9:14Speaker 2: to hit. They think they'll have it up to four
- 9:17Speaker 2: hundred ships a week in just two weeks. But we're
- 9:22Speaker 2: getting about nine million barrels a week a day, nine
- 9:25Speaker 2: million barrels a day through the Straight of horn Moose.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Normally it's twenty million barrels. So it's about half what
- 9:31Speaker 2: it normally is. But the southern part of the Straight
- 9:35Speaker 2: of hor Moovese they call it the Southern Corridor, that's open.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Ships are coming through there. We're bringing them through there,
- 9:41Speaker 2: and then there's ships in the other corridor which we're
- 9:44Speaker 2: sneaking through there no radar, they shut off the radar
- 9:47Speaker 2: and any detection things and they get through there. So
- 9:50Speaker 2: it's pretty good. That's why the price of oil not spiking.
- 9:54Speaker 2: In fact, it's let me just check. The last time
- 9:56Speaker 2: I checked, it was down a couple bucks. Yeah, it's
- 9:58Speaker 2: still down fifty today. So oil is moving through and
- 10:03Speaker 2: the amount of oil is speeding up, so that's good news. Hey,
- 10:07Speaker 2: you know that crazy El Sayad that's running in Michigan,
- 10:11Speaker 2: Mohammad Abdul whatever the hell's name is, Al Sayad. He'll
- 10:14Speaker 2: be on Jesse Waters Show tonight Fox News Channel. This
- 10:19Speaker 2: is very controversial for the crazy socialist el Sayad running
- 10:24Speaker 2: in Michigan. Some Democrats think it's brilliant. To you, it's
- 10:27Speaker 2: brilliant because Fox has, like, you know, the heartland of America, Michigan.
- 10:32Speaker 2: They're watching the working class they're watching and thinks he
- 10:35Speaker 2: can win them over. But it's not just Jesse Waters. Obviously,
- 10:40Speaker 2: there's a whole team at Fox putting together the things
- 10:43Speaker 2: to hit him with, questions to hit him with, things
- 10:45Speaker 2: to trap him with. So it may look bad for him.
- 10:48Speaker 2: On the other hand, it's Fox. If they really beat
- 10:51Speaker 2: him up, that'll help them with Democrats. So now el
- 10:55Speaker 2: Said's got another problem. Chuck Schumer doubled down and endorse
- 11:00Speaker 2: him again. Now the coward Schumer course waited to make
- 11:03Speaker 2: sure that Elsa had had the nomination, then he endorsed him.
- 11:07Speaker 2: But he just endorsed him again. This is very bad
- 11:10Speaker 2: news because remember everybody Schumer is endorsed loses. Everybody Schumer
- 11:16Speaker 2: endorses always loses. So Schumer just endorsed this guy. Not
- 11:22Speaker 2: good for him. You remember there was a debate last
- 11:25Speaker 2: week Lindsey Graham's sister, Darlene Graham is running, and it
- 11:29Speaker 2: was pretty embarrassing. They asked her a foreign policy question
- 11:33Speaker 2: about Taiwan, and she said, wow, you know, I don't
- 11:37Speaker 2: really I have to be honest, I don't know much
- 11:39Speaker 2: about foreign policy, national security. It's not something I know
- 11:43Speaker 2: much about. And it was a pretty embarrassing answer, although
- 11:48Speaker 2: some are saying it might have been, you know, dumb,
- 11:52Speaker 2: like a fox like maybe she was just letting everybody
- 11:55Speaker 2: know she's a very real person. She's not a professional politician.
- 12:00Speaker 2: She's very honest. I mean, you never see anybody, no
- 12:04Speaker 2: politicians have been that honest in the debate. So you
- 12:07Speaker 2: could argue that, but I don't know, look kind of bad.
- 12:09Speaker 2: President Trump, who's back in her was asked about it.
- 12:12Speaker 5: She's a very smart and she was being honest. I mean,
- 12:16Speaker 5: she's into the price of groceries, the price of food,
- 12:19Speaker 5: the price of beef, and it's not it hasn't been
- 12:23Speaker 5: her thing. But she's surrounded by very good people.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so you could argue it was all right.
- 12:28Speaker 2: But on the other hand, if you've decided you're going
- 12:32Speaker 2: to run for Senate and then you're going into a
- 12:35Speaker 2: debate in a week or two, wouldn't you study up
- 12:38Speaker 2: on everything When you get briefed on everything. So what
- 12:41Speaker 2: I mean, she's being honest, but it makes you sound
- 12:43Speaker 2: very lazy. Any candidate going into a race and then
- 12:47Speaker 2: going into a debate sits down with the whole team
- 12:50Speaker 2: and it gets briefed on every issue. So that part
- 12:52Speaker 2: doesn't make sense.
- 12:53Speaker 4: I mean, she's gonna do what the military wants and
- 12:56Speaker 4: really what the president wants.
- 12:58Speaker 5: She understands it sure secured.
- 13:00Speaker 6: Is by thing?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, so hey, we'll get to those data
- 13:05Speaker 2: centers coming up exactly why are they so noisy? How
- 13:09Speaker 2: noisy are they? We'll get to that. You know who
- 13:11Speaker 2: passed away, Shelley Faberat is that ring a bell? Well,
- 13:17Speaker 2: if you're really old, you oh, the Donna Reed Show.
- 13:19Speaker 2: She was on the Donna Reed Show. But if you're younger,
- 13:22Speaker 2: well you remember her from Coach. She was on Coach
- 13:25Speaker 2: for years. She was eighty two. She had one big
- 13:27Speaker 2: hit record. It was a great record. Remember all right,
- 13:31Speaker 2: you had to be there. It was good at the time.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Johnny was one of the most famous oldies. But she
- 13:37Speaker 2: passed away at the age of eighty two. See, she
- 13:39Speaker 2: was very lucky. She's a big child star. You know,
- 13:41Speaker 2: there were all these child stars fifties and sixties. You know,
- 13:45Speaker 2: you remember them all, like Beaver and Wally and all
- 13:49Speaker 2: these guys. And then that was it. The career was over.
- 13:53Speaker 2: My three sons and that was it. It was over.
- 13:57Speaker 2: But then she came back on coach eighties and nineties,
- 14:01Speaker 2: she became a star all over again, so a whole
- 14:03Speaker 2: new generation knew her. Now, all those other child stars
- 14:07Speaker 2: fifties and sixties, they were never able to do it.
- 14:10Speaker 2: They never came back, they never got into a sitcom
- 14:13Speaker 2: in the eighties and nineties and had a second life,
- 14:15Speaker 2: second career, so very unusual, but she did it. She
- 14:18Speaker 2: pulled it off, and very good for her. Hey, you
- 14:22Speaker 2: know about this Nick Shirley, He's the brilliant young journalist.
- 14:25Speaker 2: He's just a kid really with a camera. Sometimes it's
- 14:29Speaker 2: just his iPhone and he goes around and he exposes
- 14:32Speaker 2: all this Medicare fraud. He still one who went to
- 14:35Speaker 2: Minnesota and found like a hundred billion in Medicare fraud.
- 14:38Speaker 2: You know these Medicare Medicaid centers where they're getting a
- 14:43Speaker 2: reimbursement for treating all the Medicaid patients. They're getting ten
- 14:46Speaker 2: million back for treating hundreds and hundreds of patients. Well,
- 14:50Speaker 2: he would go there and find out it's a closed storefront,
- 14:54Speaker 2: it's an empty storefront. Nobody's getting treated. It's all fraud.
- 14:58Speaker 2: So he exposed dozens and dozens in Minnesota. Now some
- 15:04Speaker 2: of them had somebody in there and they were open,
- 15:06Speaker 2: pretending to be helping, but there were no patients. Then
- 15:10Speaker 2: those daycare centers that were getting government reimbursement, he would
- 15:13Speaker 2: show up there with the camera and somebody at the desk,
- 15:17Speaker 2: you some illegal work in the desk, and he'd fight
- 15:20Speaker 2: with them and he'd show that there were no kids.
- 15:23Speaker 2: It was a daycare center getting millions in reimbursement, they
- 15:26Speaker 2: never had any kids in it. So he was exposing everything.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Then he went out to California and he started doing
- 15:32Speaker 2: it there. By the way, sixty minutes if that was
- 15:34Speaker 2: still a legitimate show, as soon as they got into this,
- 15:38Speaker 2: they would have sent professional investigators and camera crews by
- 15:41Speaker 2: the dozens. In the good old days of sixty minutes,
- 15:44Speaker 2: Mike Wallace would have been right there. This is what
- 15:46Speaker 2: sixty minutes is supposed to do. But it went totally
- 15:48Speaker 2: corrupt over the years, and they see a huge story
- 15:52Speaker 2: like this and they ignore it. The own no coverage
- 15:57Speaker 2: but Nick Shirley's in California exposing millions, hundreds of millions
- 16:01Speaker 2: in this Medicaid daycare for it. So what are they
- 16:04Speaker 2: done in California about it? Well, over the weekend last week,
- 16:11Speaker 2: they passed a Stop Nick Shirley Act. They passed a
- 16:15Speaker 2: law against him and what he's doing now they'll claim,
- 16:20Speaker 2: and they are claiming, Well, it's really about privacy. It's
- 16:23Speaker 2: to protect the people from being photographed and docked. And
- 16:27Speaker 2: it's a Stop Nick Shirley Act. They've the legislature passed
- 16:31Speaker 2: a law yesterday. Governor k Newsom signed it into law.
- 16:36Speaker 2: It's a law against what Nick Shirley does. You cannot
- 16:39Speaker 2: show up with a camera and try to expose fake
- 16:41Speaker 2: daycare centers. Can you believe California is going to get
- 16:45Speaker 2: away with this? I don't know. I think the President's
- 16:48Speaker 2: gonna have to jump in on this and do something
- 16:50Speaker 2: about this. So well, you know, you could stop Nick
- 16:53Speaker 2: Shirley and make a law against him and arrest him
- 16:57Speaker 2: or whatever you want to do. But the president can
- 16:58Speaker 2: also cut off all federal fund for those places. And
- 17:02Speaker 2: I have a feeling that's going to come to a head.
- 17:03Speaker 2: He's going to stop all federal funding until they rescind
- 17:06Speaker 2: that law. Hey, we'll get to the data centers. We'll
- 17:10Speaker 2: get you the real you know, nobody ever explains to
- 17:11Speaker 2: you why do they make so much noise? How much
- 17:14Speaker 2: noise do they make? What kind of noise? We'll get
- 17:16Speaker 2: to all of that coming up. It's Mark Simon nine
- 17:19Speaker 2: to noon now every day, nine to noon here on
- 17:22Speaker 2: seven ten WR.
- 17:24Speaker 1: No much more Mark Mark now nine till noon weekdays
- 17:31Speaker 1: on seven ten wor.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Whoa, Hey, The Odyssey. You know that was like the
- 17:37Speaker 2: biggest film of the year. The Odyssey is already up
- 17:40Speaker 2: to one point three billion in box office, about half
- 17:44Speaker 2: of that in the US. The Odyssey making a fortune,
- 17:46Speaker 2: setting all kinds of records since first few weeks. Well
- 17:50Speaker 2: it's dying off a little, yeah, a box office starting
- 17:53Speaker 2: to die off. So they've announced the streaming date. It
- 17:56Speaker 2: starts streaming November. You'll be able to sit at home
- 18:00Speaker 2: to watch it. After an incredibly successful summer. You'll be
- 18:03Speaker 2: able to see it streaming in November. Expect Spider Man
- 18:08Speaker 2: that's still going strong in a few weeks to announce
- 18:11Speaker 2: the streaming date when it's coming. Hunter Biden, this guy
- 18:15Speaker 2: is everywhere now, so he goes on Bill Maher's show.
- 18:18Speaker 2: You got him credit. He's not afraid to go on
- 18:20Speaker 2: anything anywhere. Bill Maher opens up the interview like in
- 18:25Speaker 2: the first minute, told him, you know, I've seen I've
- 18:29Speaker 2: seen your dick on the laptop and the pictures. I've
- 18:33Speaker 2: seen you with a crack pipe. Even asked him if
- 18:36Speaker 2: he's running for president. This is all within the first minute.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Then it was downhill from there. And then he says
- 18:41Speaker 2: to Hunter, your laptop. You know your obituary. The third
- 18:45Speaker 2: word is going to be laptop. It's going to be
- 18:47Speaker 2: famous at laptop. You know, nobody's ever really asked him.
- 18:51Speaker 2: With all the shady shenanigans you're doing, why did you
- 18:55Speaker 2: leave that laptop in a repair shop? I mean, if
- 18:57Speaker 2: it broke a some one, he's just destroy it. Why
- 18:59Speaker 2: don't you have a back You know, anybody doing that
- 19:01Speaker 2: kind of work has a backup of everything. And if
- 19:03Speaker 2: the laptop goes bad, you just destroy it. You don't
- 19:06Speaker 2: give it to anybody and let them look through it.
- 19:09Speaker 2: And then he brings it to the repair shop and
- 19:11Speaker 2: leaves it. He forgets about it. Many many, many, many
- 19:15Speaker 2: many weeks months go by. He hasn't picked it up,
- 19:18Speaker 2: so the guy doesn't know what to do. And it's
- 19:21Speaker 2: Hunter Biden's laptop. He looks in it and he does.
- 19:23Speaker 2: He hands it over to the authorities, hands it over
- 19:26Speaker 2: to the FBI, hands it over to I forget how
- 19:29Speaker 2: Rudy Giuliani got a hold of it. He hands it
- 19:31Speaker 2: over to Miranda Divine. Everything gets exposed and if you're
- 19:34Speaker 2: doing that kind of shady business, why would you put
- 19:38Speaker 2: it all in writing and a laptop. He details everything,
- 19:42Speaker 2: all the financial shenanigans, not to mention the naked pictures
- 19:47Speaker 2: and the prostitutes and all that. It's all in writing
- 19:50Speaker 2: and a laptop for everybody to see. So it got
- 19:53Speaker 2: a little tense between mar and Hunter Biden because he
- 19:58Speaker 2: started to say, you profited off your father's political office.
- 20:01Speaker 2: You He tried for a second to argue that when
- 20:06Speaker 2: he got hired to be on the board of Barisma,
- 20:09Speaker 2: the well, you know, I went to Yale, I was
- 20:11Speaker 2: an attorney. I was There's no way a energy company
- 20:16Speaker 2: in the Ukraine is going to hire you a crack
- 20:19Speaker 2: addict to be And even if they were to hire you,
- 20:22Speaker 2: starting job isn't board of directors. You don't know anything
- 20:26Speaker 2: about energy and it's a Ukrainian company. You don't speak Ukrainian,
- 20:30Speaker 2: you can't even speak the lang. So obviously, he finally
- 20:34Speaker 2: admitted to Bill Maher, he finally admitted it was because
- 20:39Speaker 2: of his father being vice president at the time, and
- 20:42Speaker 2: he said, look, I'm incredibly privileged, I mean, beyond anyone's
- 20:46Speaker 2: wildest imagination, not only because of who my dad was,
- 20:49Speaker 2: but because of the father that he was. Yeah, it
- 20:52Speaker 2: looks like a real great father, a real saint, and
- 20:58Speaker 2: so a lot of privilege comes from that. And I
- 20:59Speaker 2: don't tonight. So they finally confessed good for him. Then
- 21:02Speaker 2: he tried to turn around and yell and scream about
- 21:04Speaker 2: the Trump's, the kids, Trump kids making a fortune, Crypto
- 21:09Speaker 2: and this and that. Yeah, but you gonna remember they
- 21:11Speaker 2: were all fabulously wealthy. And that's the thing about Trump.
- 21:14Speaker 2: They try to make it look like he's totally corrupt.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Some of what he's doing looks a little uh, not unethical,
- 21:20Speaker 2: but like you probably shouldn't do that if you're present.
- 21:22Speaker 2: He's probably But they tried to compare, well, he's done
- 21:25Speaker 2: actually more trading than Nancy Pelosi and her husband combined. Okay,
- 21:30Speaker 2: but they were worth nothing, you know, they were worth
- 21:33Speaker 2: a few hundred thousand, then they're worth eight hundred million.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Explain that Trump when he came into office was worth
- 21:39Speaker 2: five six billion, which is about what he's worth now.
- 21:42Speaker 2: It's the same thing. So he already had. And when
- 21:45Speaker 2: you see all these trades he's making and all these investments, well,
- 21:49Speaker 2: any guy who's got five or six billion, you know,
- 21:51Speaker 2: it's not just in the bank. It's being traded day
- 21:54Speaker 2: and night. It's in the hands of a million financial institutions,
- 21:58Speaker 2: and that's what they do with your money. They trade
- 22:00Speaker 2: it back and forth all day and night. So it's
- 22:03Speaker 2: just people are not used to a multi multi billionaire
- 22:06Speaker 2: being in office and seeing how they live and how
- 22:09Speaker 2: their finances work. They speaking of out of work idiots,
- 22:14Speaker 2: Harry and Meghan. Their California dreaming is over. It's all
- 22:19Speaker 2: over for them in California. They're totally washed up, can't
- 22:22Speaker 2: get a job, can't do anything. Had started with that
- 22:25Speaker 2: big Netflix steeal Oh, they got a lot of money,
- 22:28Speaker 2: big Netflix steal multi year and Netflix did a documentary.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It got big ratings and the big multi year deal.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Well after that first big ratings documentary, everything else they
- 22:38Speaker 2: tried was a total bomb. Nobody watched it. Netflix finally
- 22:42Speaker 2: canceled the agreement. They got out of the contract. Same
- 22:45Speaker 2: thing happened with Spotify. A lot of money to do
- 22:48Speaker 2: so and whatever they did first it did okay, then
- 22:52Speaker 2: it just petered out and then nothing. Spotify had to
- 22:55Speaker 2: fire them. So they've been fired from every job they've had.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Nobody had any interest in them the last couple of years.
- 23:02Speaker 2: They tried to get something else going. They tried and
- 23:04Speaker 2: tried and tried. Nobody will give them a penny, nobody'll
- 23:07Speaker 2: hire them, you know, after two three years of this
- 23:11Speaker 2: and nobody will give you one penny for anything. Nobody
- 23:14Speaker 2: will put you on TV anymore, nobody will pay any
- 23:17Speaker 2: attention to you. What do you do? I guess you
- 23:19Speaker 2: got to just give up and leave. So that's why
- 23:22Speaker 2: they're going back to England. They say that, Well, they
- 23:28Speaker 2: spent a long vacation in the UK and enjoyed it
- 23:31Speaker 2: so much they've decided to go back. They want to
- 23:33Speaker 2: have their children spend more time in the country. That's
- 23:36Speaker 2: an important part of the family's story. And well, actually
- 23:39Speaker 2: I just can't get anything going here in the United States,
- 23:42Speaker 2: so they figure back there, maybe somebody will be interested
- 23:45Speaker 2: the Royal family has totally cut them off, ostracized them.
- 23:48Speaker 2: They will not be part of the Royal family. So
- 23:51Speaker 2: they announced they're going to be private Royals. Plus they're
- 23:58Speaker 2: not royals, they're not in the Royal Family, so they
- 24:00Speaker 2: made up a whole fake title their Private Royals. Plus. Hey,
- 24:04Speaker 2: Rob Shooter will be with us later in the program.
- 24:05Speaker 2: He's like the royal expert. He can explain exactly what's
- 24:09Speaker 2: going on with these two idiots. It's Harry's fault if
- 24:12Speaker 2: he had married a very famous American actress, you know,
- 24:16Speaker 2: like Prince Vanier. He married Grace Kelly, who was a major, major,
- 24:20Speaker 2: major movie star in nineteen fifty six or whatever it was.
- 24:24Speaker 2: He's like the biggest movie star in America female. But Harry,
- 24:29Speaker 2: you married somebody's like fifteenth billing in suits from twelve
- 24:33Speaker 2: years ago. I mean, it's a very minor character. Anyway,
- 24:38Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to. It will take
- 24:40Speaker 2: some calls coming up on seven to ten WR.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Now nine till noon weekday Smart sim more Mark on
- 24:49Speaker 1: sevent ten WR.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Hey, this just breaking breaking news and it's ugly.
- 24:58Speaker 7: You know.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Iran, as we mentioned, is just about finished off economically.
- 25:02Speaker 2: The President's actions, closing the straight or hormoose. Everything else
- 25:06Speaker 2: he's done has brought them to their knees financially. And
- 25:10Speaker 2: then later today Scott Besst is going to announce a
- 25:13Speaker 2: whole bunch of very serious sanctions on them, which will
- 25:15Speaker 2: probably just destroy the country economically. So Iran is like
- 25:21Speaker 2: a cornered rat back against the wall in its last
- 25:24Speaker 2: final desperate act. What will it do?
- 25:27Speaker 8: Well?
- 25:27Speaker 2: It just did it. Moments ago they released a sickening video.
- 25:32Speaker 2: It's a three minute video calling for the assassination of
- 25:35Speaker 2: Baron Trump and it's offering a ten million dollar bounty
- 25:41Speaker 2: on his head. Now, it's about as sick as you
- 25:43Speaker 2: can get and as ugly as you can get, and
- 25:45Speaker 2: it says a lot about how low and dirty these
- 25:49Speaker 2: Iranian leaders are. So they've put out a three minute
- 25:52Speaker 2: video and it gives some kind of you know, instructions
- 25:56Speaker 2: and where to find him. It shows the area of
- 25:59Speaker 2: New York University, that school he attends, and it shows
- 26:04Speaker 2: you possible places to try to assassinate him, ways to
- 26:08Speaker 2: assassinate him. It since they've uncovered his accounts on Xbox,
- 26:15Speaker 2: on FIFA video games, and on other websites, as well
- 26:18Speaker 2: as those of his classmates. So they're offering a ten
- 26:22Speaker 2: million dollar bounty for anybody that kills Baron Trump. This
- 26:25Speaker 2: is very tough for because he's a you know, he's
- 26:29Speaker 2: a student, goes to class every day, goes to college.
- 26:32Speaker 2: He goes to the NYU campus in Washington. But I
- 26:37Speaker 2: don't know what they're going to do about this. Now,
- 26:38Speaker 2: they'll have to put very heavy security around him and
- 26:41Speaker 2: maybe just keep him in the White House for a while.
- 26:43Speaker 2: And you know, the one thing about President Trump, he's
- 26:48Speaker 2: I don't want to say afraid. He's just not wanted
- 26:50Speaker 2: to pull the trigger on Iran. I'm just wiping it out,
- 26:53Speaker 2: wiping out their leaders, just taking out anything and everything.
- 26:57Speaker 2: He's not ruthless enough to do that. He's held off
- 27:01Speaker 2: on it. But now when you're threatening to kill his
- 27:03Speaker 2: son and putting out a three minute video detailing how
- 27:06Speaker 2: to do it and offering a ten million dollars bounty,
- 27:11Speaker 2: you may be pushing the president a little too far.
- 27:13Speaker 2: The reaction to this might not be what Iran expected.
- 27:17Speaker 2: So that just happened. We'll keep you posted on that.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two one
- 27:23Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 27:27Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Let's go to Joe in Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 27:30Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 27:31Speaker 9: Oh, good morning, Marks for the hours. Oh you mentioned
- 27:34Speaker 9: Nick Shirley. We're still waiting for him to come because
- 27:37Speaker 9: I heard one story last week and end Crickets about
- 27:40Speaker 9: the fraud. Everybody's health insurance has gone cripple and dublin.
- 27:44Speaker 9: We have a lot of seniors in this state.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, but Nick Shirley's working around the clock. Okay,
- 27:50Speaker 2: he's one kid with an iPhone. He's working around the clock.
- 27:53Speaker 2: If you want all this exposed, blame sixty Minutes. This
- 27:57Speaker 2: is what sixty Minutes is supposed to do. This is
- 28:00Speaker 2: what it was built on. This is what it was
- 28:01Speaker 2: built to do. And they're deliberately ignoring this story. They
- 28:06Speaker 2: will not investigate it. Let's go to Rich Myrtle Beach. Rich,
- 28:11Speaker 2: how you doing well?
- 28:13Speaker 10: Thanks? Mark, you probably even get to the election down here.
- 28:15Speaker 10: I've been you and I have had this conversation before.
- 28:18Speaker 10: He should have wiped out every single way of Iran's
- 28:20Speaker 10: government and leader until he got to the people could
- 28:23Speaker 10: actually work with, and just wiping him out and wiping
- 28:25Speaker 10: them out. But like you said, you know, I was like,
- 28:27Speaker 10: you should have put Hillary in jail investigating. He didn't
- 28:30Speaker 10: do it. It wasn't good for the country. But he's
- 28:32Speaker 10: got to just pull the trigger and just wipe him
- 28:34Speaker 10: out completely. Let the people themselves rise up. You know,
- 28:36Speaker 10: down here in the South Carolina election. You know, I
- 28:40Speaker 10: watched some of the debate between the Linji Graham's Darline Graham.
- 28:45Speaker 10: She changed your name from a married name to Graham
- 28:47Speaker 10: just to get the recognition down here, said nobody down
- 28:49Speaker 10: here like that. And Ralph Norman is you know, you
- 28:53Speaker 10: watch the two of these people debates for ten minutes.
- 28:55Speaker 10: It's a snooze fests. They're both stupid. I'm predicting probably
- 28:58Speaker 10: the lowest electoral turn out in South Carolina history down
- 29:01Speaker 10: here because nobody your.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Predictions are usually that's the good news. Yeah, I know,
- 29:10Speaker 2: but you're ignoring a lot of what's happening. The President
- 29:13Speaker 2: visited North Carolina. He was down there telling everybody to
- 29:16Speaker 2: get out there. He's pretty good at getting out the vote,
- 29:18Speaker 2: So I think you'll get a good turnout in South Carolina.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Let's go to Terry in Manhattan. Terry, how you doing?
- 29:26Speaker 11: How did you Tony from Manhattan? This is who Tony, Tony?
- 29:31Speaker 2: It says Terry.
- 29:33Speaker 11: Okay, Tony from Manhattan. Thank you, your mister Trimm. I've been.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Where you're from. Where's that accent from?
- 29:42Speaker 11: I am from Manhattan.
- 29:44Speaker 2: No, I mean where'd you come from before that?
- 29:47Speaker 12: Oh?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Tony?
- 29:50Speaker 5: Yes?
- 29:51Speaker 2: Do you have your papers with you? Yes? No, Tony?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Where what? What? Where were you? What country are you from?
- 29:57Speaker 11: I am from Puerto Rico?
- 29:59Speaker 2: Very good, very good. Now what made you leave Puerto Rico?
- 30:02Speaker 2: So beautiful? There you got these beautiful beaches. What made
- 30:04Speaker 2: you come to New York?
- 30:06Speaker 11: Because I was born in America to go Puerto Rico's
- 30:10Speaker 11: parady in the United States, and I stored there. And
- 30:14Speaker 11: when I became twenty years old, I moved to Manhattan.
- 30:17Speaker 11: I'm here since I was twenty.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Very good, very good. What do you do for a living?
- 30:23Speaker 11: Oh? I am retired from Viten Irish Piamintosa. I left marriage.
- 30:28Speaker 2: So you retired from you know where you retired from?
- 30:32Speaker 11: Because I became blind when I was a supervisor. I
- 30:36Speaker 11: became brand because Vitin Irish Piamintosa. I was thirty seven
- 30:39Speaker 11: years old and I was a supervisor in a supermarket. Oh,
- 30:44Speaker 11: very good, and ever since I love War w Oar.
- 30:50Speaker 11: I know you for a long time ago. I know
- 30:52Speaker 11: Harado Ribera, I know w O War and I have
- 30:56Speaker 11: a message for my best friend, mister Slea. I follow
- 31:02Speaker 11: him wherever he goes. Now he's with you. I listen
- 31:06Speaker 11: to him. He's the best, and tell him about Tony Mellen,
- 31:11Speaker 11: are you gonna tell you about me? I am, he
- 31:13Speaker 11: said the Brigua and he's that because his wife and
- 31:17Speaker 11: his family, some of them from Puerto Rico, and we
- 31:20Speaker 11: had very very good that we have a good man
- 31:23Speaker 11: with you. Kerrs Lila and w o wah.
- 31:26Speaker 2: All right, well tell me that's a wonderful message. We
- 31:28Speaker 2: don't know what hell it is, but it sounded nice.
- 31:31Speaker 2: And you sound like a very nice guy. Tony. You
- 31:33Speaker 2: sound like a very nice guy.
- 31:34Speaker 11: So I will call I will call you later because
- 31:36Speaker 11: you don't know man. I became blind at thirty seven.
- 31:40Speaker 11: And after I became blind, I went to the power
- 31:43Speaker 11: to super to a gym and I became a power lifter.
- 31:46Speaker 11: I am in the Hall of Fame really, and.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Guy, yeah, Tony, I admire your spirit. You're a man
- 31:54Speaker 2: of good character. You sound like a very nice guy.
- 31:57Speaker 11: I am a divisional picker and I love you guys.
- 32:00Speaker 11: All right, keep up O never never will go back
- 32:06Speaker 11: to the best.
- 32:07Speaker 2: All right, Tony, thanks for calling, good guy. Take care.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Uh yeah, a good message for Curtis. Hey, coming up,
- 32:13Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to. Michael Goodman will
- 32:15Speaker 2: be with us a little later. Uh, we'll get We'll
- 32:17Speaker 2: get our royal expert to explain what the hell are
- 32:20Speaker 2: these two idiots gonna do when they go back to England.
- 32:23Speaker 10: Uh.
- 32:23Speaker 2: And we'll get to the Indy two fifty yesterday. Hey,
- 32:27Speaker 2: we'll get to those data centers. We'll give you. They
- 32:29Speaker 2: never tell you what makes the noise, what kind of noise,
- 32:31Speaker 2: and how bad are they? Well, we'll get to all
- 32:33Speaker 2: of that coming up. Don't forget. I'm here now nine
- 32:36Speaker 2: to noon every weekday, nine am to twelve noon, and
- 32:40Speaker 2: then at noon you got Buck and Clayy do a
- 32:42Speaker 2: real good show every day at noon three o'clock. You
- 32:44Speaker 2: got the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hanny.
- 32:48Speaker 2: You got Jesse Kelly six o'clock. Jimmy Fayla. That is
- 32:51Speaker 2: the funniest show on the radio. Jimmy Fayla every night
- 32:55Speaker 2: nine to midnight here on seven ten WR.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Live from the Well U Our Life Back Studios, bill
- 33:02Speaker 1: Mark Simon Show.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Hey, it's gonna be a beautiful day to day, bright
- 33:09Speaker 2: sunshine eighties or low eighties, gonna be like that for
- 33:12Speaker 2: three days, three beautiful days. It might be like that
- 33:16Speaker 2: on Thursday, but there's a chance of rain on Thursday.
- 33:20Speaker 2: And then the weekend looks pretty good. So you got
- 33:23Speaker 2: this week and then next week is it? It's Labor
- 33:28Speaker 2: Day weekend next week, not this coming weekend, but a
- 33:30Speaker 2: week later, it's already here. It was a very very
- 33:34Speaker 2: very bizarre summer weather wise, air quality wise, but you
- 33:39Speaker 2: got another week and a half to enjoy it. So, hey,
- 33:43Speaker 2: last night, but I don't like nine o'clock ten o'clock
- 33:48Speaker 2: watching television. I changed the channel. What the hell is
- 33:51Speaker 2: a football game like regular Sunday night football? It's preseason, right, yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 2: it's preseason, but there it was Sunday night football. It
- 34:01Speaker 2: was back. I go in the store and there's pumpkin
- 34:04Speaker 2: spice everything, and there's Fall blends Starbucks, and there's Halloween
- 34:09Speaker 2: costume display. So get ready, it's coming. It's the final
- 34:14Speaker 2: week and a half the summer. You've got three beautiful
- 34:16Speaker 2: days coming up, so enjoy it. We got a lot
- 34:19Speaker 2: to get to after the news, we get to this
- 34:21Speaker 2: terrible Baron Trump assassination threat and a hull loup. More
- 34:25Speaker 2: just ahead on seven to ten WR.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Always a step ahead of the news. Here's more marks
- 34:32Speaker 1: amone on seven to ten wor.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Well, hey, if you just joined us, it's the second hour.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Remember we start at nine o'clock every morning. Now it's
- 34:46Speaker 2: nine to noon every weekday, nine am to noon. So
- 34:50Speaker 2: this just broke about a half hour ago. Ran has
- 34:53Speaker 2: put out a sickening video calling for the assassination of
- 34:58Speaker 2: Baron Trump. They've offered a t one million dollar bounty.
- 35:01Speaker 2: It's an ugly three minute video detailing and giving instructions
- 35:08Speaker 2: where to find him, how to kill him where. It's
- 35:10Speaker 2: just awful. So that's that's Iran's like last desperate back
- 35:17Speaker 2: against the wall move. We've already crippled their economy. They're
- 35:22Speaker 2: on their last legs. Intelligence from US from Israel showing
- 35:26Speaker 2: that there's about to be total collapse in that country.
- 35:29Speaker 2: And then later today Scott Bessett will announce the most
- 35:33Speaker 2: roughest sanctions on Iran that should pretty much make the
- 35:37Speaker 2: whole place just crumble. Once he announces those Now, that's
- 35:40Speaker 2: probably the reason this video was released just moments ago,
- 35:45Speaker 2: this sickening video calling for the assassination of Baron Trump,
- 35:48Speaker 2: but the President has yet to respond on it. So crazy,
- 35:55Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. He's got one scheme after another. The latest
- 35:58Speaker 2: now he's announced the b QUI. That's the Brooklyn Queen's Expressway.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Some of it is taken care of by the state,
- 36:06Speaker 2: some of it is taking care of it by the city.
- 36:08Speaker 2: He's announced that he's fixing the BQE because the part
- 36:14Speaker 2: owned by the city is crumbling and they show video
- 36:17Speaker 2: of where it's coming apart. The concrete is decaying. It
- 36:21Speaker 2: needs to be repaired. So he put out a TikTok
- 36:24Speaker 2: video and it's a great TikTok video. It's great. It
- 36:28Speaker 2: shows a foot kicking a can and then it zooms
- 36:31Speaker 2: out and you see it's Mom Donnias, we can't keep
- 36:34Speaker 2: kicking the hand down the road and it shows him
- 36:36Speaker 2: dancing down the bque It's a hell of a TikTok video.
- 36:40Speaker 2: He's great at making TikTok videos. However, when it comes
- 36:46Speaker 2: to fixing highway, this he's not so good at. This
- 36:50Speaker 2: is not going to be good it's Mom, Donnie and
- 36:53Speaker 2: some crazy socialists that are gonna be in charge of
- 36:55Speaker 2: fixing this part of the BQE now than to doing
- 37:01Speaker 2: this successfully, and remember people's lives are at stake. It's
- 37:04Speaker 2: a major highway is finding the right contractors, making sure
- 37:07Speaker 2: that one work is done correctly. But this is Mamdanian
- 37:11Speaker 2: company and knowing him, he'll go out and hire some
- 37:14Speaker 2: twenty four year old socialists to put together a construction
- 37:17Speaker 2: company and they'll try to do it. So this could
- 37:19Speaker 2: be a disaster. Now. The other crazy thing is and
- 37:24Speaker 2: it was really Deblasio that started this and Cuomo was involved,
- 37:29Speaker 2: you know, the two crazy left wingers, Cuomo Deblasio. But
- 37:32Speaker 2: Deblasio kept pushing this closed Rikers Island. It's a big,
- 37:37Speaker 2: huge prison complex and it's on an island. What could
- 37:41Speaker 2: be more perfect for a prison? An island the safest
- 37:45Speaker 2: location in the world, like Alcatraz, but this is a
- 37:48Speaker 2: much much bigger island. It's got a lot of buildings,
- 37:51Speaker 2: it's perfect for a prison. So Deblasio came up with
- 37:54Speaker 2: this idea. Well, close Rikers Island. It's a huge prison.
- 37:58Speaker 2: How do you make up for that. Well, we'll open
- 38:00Speaker 2: in five separate prisons around New York City. Now, what
- 38:02Speaker 2: the hell would you want to do that for when
- 38:04Speaker 2: you're going to have one perfect prison system. And some
- 38:07Speaker 2: would say, well, the buildings are old and they're fix
- 38:10Speaker 2: them up, and half the buildings are empty. Fix up
- 38:13Speaker 2: the empty ones and then move people there and then
- 38:15Speaker 2: go fix up the other ones. Now something. The real
- 38:19Speaker 2: reason is it is an island with a bridge that
- 38:21Speaker 2: goes to it. You know, the other islands that Governor's Island,
- 38:25Speaker 2: there is no bridge. You have to go by ferry,
- 38:27Speaker 2: so nobody wants to open a casino there or build condos.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Too hard to get to you got to take a boat.
- 38:32Speaker 2: But this island has a bridge. So there's a lot
- 38:35Speaker 2: of developers, big, big real estate interest that would make
- 38:40Speaker 2: massive donations to you if you get them that island.
- 38:42Speaker 2: So a lot of people thought that's what Deblasio was
- 38:45Speaker 2: up to, getting that island empty so you could sell
- 38:48Speaker 2: it to a developer. So Mamdani wants to build five prisons.
- 38:53Speaker 2: He's talking about putting one in Chinatown. Chinatown leaders are
- 38:57Speaker 2: up in arms trying to stop this thing. And if
- 39:00Speaker 2: you look at what he's proposing, it's a skyscraper it's
- 39:05Speaker 2: like a forty story skyscraper that would be the prison.
- 39:08Speaker 2: And it's like a black glass, you know, modern looking skyscraper.
- 39:12Speaker 2: And if you look at the sketches of the cells,
- 39:15Speaker 2: they look like apartments, so he'd be putting prisoners in
- 39:18Speaker 2: a skyscraper with apartments. It looks like it has no windows,
- 39:23Speaker 2: so I don't know what they do about the windows,
- 39:24Speaker 2: but you imagine being prison. You could be on the
- 39:26Speaker 2: thirty second floor with a nice view. It doesn't make
- 39:30Speaker 2: any sense. Oh, it's actually twenty stories, but it would.
- 39:33Speaker 2: They're calling it a jail scraper to move all these things,
- 39:38Speaker 2: create these new prisons. It's sixteen billion. Again, you could
- 39:42Speaker 2: just fix up Riker's Island for probably one hundred million.
- 39:47Speaker 2: You don't need to do all this. It's just another
- 39:49Speaker 2: crazy mom Donnie scheme. Now the good news it's Mam Donni,
- 39:52Speaker 2: which means it'll probably never happen. Just like his grocery stores.
- 39:56Speaker 2: You'll never see these grocery stores. He'll never get it done,
- 40:02Speaker 2: it says he's as far as the groceries. The city's
- 40:06Speaker 2: Economic Development Corporation took prospective bidders to see the grocery store.
- 40:12Speaker 2: But there's no grocery store. That's just a big empty lot.
- 40:15Speaker 2: It's a vacant lot in East Harlem. So he brought
- 40:20Speaker 2: them there. They thought this was ridiculous. What am I
- 40:22Speaker 2: looking at an empty lot for? It doesn't mean And
- 40:25Speaker 2: they're pointing out to him that where he wants to
- 40:27Speaker 2: build this grocery store, the spot is surrounded by fifteen
- 40:33Speaker 2: bodegas and groceries. So what the hell do you need
- 40:36Speaker 2: this for? If you want to lower prices, make a
- 40:38Speaker 2: deal with these bodegas and groceries to sell those items
- 40:41Speaker 2: at a lower price. In exchange, you'll you know, stop
- 40:44Speaker 2: there having to pay taxes or rent. You'll take care
- 40:48Speaker 2: of You could easily do this. There's fifteen bodegas and
- 40:51Speaker 2: groceries right next to where he wants to build his
- 40:54Speaker 2: grocery store. Hey, you got I'm hearing it again today.
- 40:57Speaker 2: They're doing this fake story all day. You know, the
- 40:59Speaker 2: national has increased, it's up to whatever it is, forty
- 41:04Speaker 2: trillion or with our national debt, but it was up
- 41:06Speaker 2: four trillion this year and they just light you on
- 41:10Speaker 2: the news. You'll see this on Network news. I'll just
- 41:12Speaker 2: light you this is caused by the Trump tax cut
- 41:15Speaker 2: in the Iran war preposterous. First of all, the Trump
- 41:21Speaker 2: tax cut increased revenue into the government. Revenue is up
- 41:25Speaker 2: under the Trump tax cut. It increased revenue. It couldn't
- 41:29Speaker 2: possibly add to the debt. In fact, that it would
- 41:32Speaker 2: only helped the debt and the Iran war. The cost
- 41:35Speaker 2: so far as forty billion. If you're talking about four
- 41:39Speaker 2: trillion increased debt four trillion, that forty billion is like
- 41:44Speaker 2: a zillionth of one percent. It means absolutely nothing. It
- 41:47Speaker 2: had no effect, zero effect on the deficit. The whole
- 41:51Speaker 2: deficit is caused by spending. Revenue is up into the government.
- 41:56Speaker 2: It's a spending problem. Network News carefully careful not to
- 42:01Speaker 2: ever ever ever mention that, Hey, so these AI centers,
- 42:07Speaker 2: how bad are they? Well, they got problems. Even the
- 42:10Speaker 2: governor Abbot of Texas is starting to back off on
- 42:15Speaker 2: these AI centers. You know, he let them. Now, one thing,
- 42:18Speaker 2: with these AI centers, they'll bring a fortune to your state.
- 42:21Speaker 2: They'll bring you money, they'll lower taxes, they'll bring you jobs, construction.
- 42:27Speaker 2: So Abbot was all for it. He let the data
- 42:29Speaker 2: centers open all over the place. Now now he's changing it.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Now he's saying, you got to stop well, one reason
- 42:35Speaker 2: he wanted data from them. He wanted them to supply
- 42:38Speaker 2: data how much electricity are you using? How much water
- 42:40Speaker 2: are you using? And they wouldn't supply the data. So
- 42:43Speaker 2: he's changing his tune.
- 42:44Speaker 13: I am now coming in as governor saying, listen, if
- 42:47Speaker 13: you're a data center and you want to operate on Texas,
- 42:49Speaker 13: you have to first get the approval of those in
- 42:52Speaker 13: local communities. And that's why I set that standard. No
- 42:56Speaker 13: data centers disturbing local communities in Texas.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's a big change. Eight months ago he
- 43:02Speaker 2: was waving them in. Now he's a saying we gotta
- 43:05Speaker 2: know more before you can come here.
- 43:07Speaker 13: They had not been working in collaboration with the state,
- 43:09Speaker 13: they had not been working in collaboration with local governments,
- 43:12Speaker 13: and so they basically dug their own grave for the
- 43:15Speaker 13: problem that's been calls for them, and that's why they
- 43:17Speaker 13: got the backlash they deserve. And that's why these new
- 43:20Speaker 13: standards are in place to make sure they're not going
- 43:22Speaker 13: to be able to operate until they come into compliance
- 43:25Speaker 13: with the standards that I have set.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Okay, big change of tune from a governor Abbott. Now
- 43:30Speaker 2: you got problems with the here's the problems of the
- 43:32Speaker 2: data center. One, it uses so much electricity, you know,
- 43:37Speaker 2: drains the electricity from the town. Well, okay, that problem
- 43:39Speaker 2: you can solve. That can be solved. They can start
- 43:43Speaker 2: to produce their own electricity and they have a lot
- 43:46Speaker 2: of times extra electricity can give it back to the grid.
- 43:50Speaker 2: The other problem is they use so much water for cooling.
- 43:54Speaker 2: They use so much water, use up the water supply.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Well that they've they figured out. The solution to that
- 43:59Speaker 2: is I'll just use a little water and just keep
- 44:01Speaker 2: recycling it in the data center. The other problem is
- 44:05Speaker 2: the noise. That's a problem. They are very, very noisy.
- 44:10Speaker 2: So you like the one in Virginia is right next
- 44:13Speaker 2: to Dullest Airport, which is already noisy. So that's a
- 44:17Speaker 2: pretty good idea. You can't complain about the noise when
- 44:20Speaker 2: you live next to an airport anyway. So you got
- 44:22Speaker 2: to just figure out where to put them. The noise
- 44:25Speaker 2: goes for about a half mile and really about a mile,
- 44:29Speaker 2: so if you're put them somewhere where they're a mile
- 44:31Speaker 2: away from residential places, you find But even the president
- 44:36Speaker 2: who was all for these data centers, now he's putting
- 44:38Speaker 2: a little disclaimer in there about the listener. There's a
- 44:41Speaker 2: little disclaimer. But you got to be careful where you
- 44:43Speaker 2: put it.
- 44:44Speaker 6: If you pick the right location, and it's got to
- 44:46Speaker 6: be not every location, it's perfect hard, but you pick
- 44:49Speaker 6: the right location. What it means for a community is
- 44:52Speaker 6: jobs and lots of money and lowers axes. And the
- 44:56Speaker 6: data centers now are mandated by me that they build
- 44:59Speaker 6: their own elect so they're not taking it for the grid.
- 45:02Speaker 2: All right, that's good. The electricity problems solve. Water problems
- 45:05Speaker 2: need to solve. But this is the first time he's
- 45:07Speaker 2: actually said you can't just put them anywhere. Actually, for
- 45:11Speaker 2: the first time.
- 45:12Speaker 6: If you pick the right location, then it's got to
- 45:14Speaker 6: be not every location, it's perfect card.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Okay, So that's the you got to find the right location. Now,
- 45:20Speaker 2: what is this noise problem? How noisy are these data centers? Well,
- 45:24Speaker 2: here's the reason for all the noise. A data center
- 45:27Speaker 2: is thousands, thousands of powerful computer servers and they're running
- 45:33Speaker 2: twenty four to seven. They never stop, and because of that,
- 45:37Speaker 2: they generate massive amounts of heat and that requires heavy
- 45:42Speaker 2: industrial cooling and power equipment to prevent meltdowns. You have
- 45:47Speaker 2: to keep getting rid of that heat, you have to
- 45:49Speaker 2: keep cooling them down. That's where the noise comes from.
- 45:52Speaker 2: So thousands of small internal fans spin at very high
- 45:57Speaker 2: speeds inside the server racks and it creates a high
- 46:01Speaker 2: pitched wine or a loud hum up to ninety decibels.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Then you have to have massive diesel or gas turbine
- 46:09Speaker 2: generators and they test regularly, They kick on during power cuts,
- 46:15Speaker 2: and they produce a heavy rumble up to one hundred
- 46:17Speaker 2: and ten decibels. Then you got large mechanical fans and compressors.
- 46:22Speaker 2: They admit low frequency noise and vibrations that travel thousands
- 46:27Speaker 2: of feet further than normal high pitched city sounds and
- 46:31Speaker 2: easily can pass through walls and trees. So that's the problem. Now,
- 46:36Speaker 2: this noise is really bad up to fifteen hundred feet away,
- 46:41Speaker 2: about a half a mile, it's really bad. It's not
- 46:45Speaker 2: so bad up to a mile away, but it's still there.
- 46:48Speaker 2: You get a low frequency hum that you can hear
- 46:50Speaker 2: a mile away, so half a mile away you just
- 46:53Speaker 2: can't be living there. A mile away is fine, So
- 46:56Speaker 2: you got to find a place where they are a
- 46:58Speaker 2: mile away from any residential nameihborhood. They also they do
- 47:02Speaker 2: produce low level, non ionizing electromagnetic fields. Now scientists say
- 47:07Speaker 2: that's not a problem because you get the same thing
- 47:10Speaker 2: from common office equipment. They do pose a little health risk,
- 47:15Speaker 2: primarily through air pollution because they got those big backup
- 47:19Speaker 2: diesel generators, so that can cause a little pollution. The
- 47:24Speaker 2: biggest data center right now, Meta owns the largest data
- 47:27Speaker 2: center four point five million square feet. That's in Pineville, Oregon.
- 47:34Speaker 2: But that's one facility. That's the largest single facility, but
- 47:37Speaker 2: by total combined facilities, the biggest data center user Amazon,
- 47:43Speaker 2: largest overall operator, Amazon and Elon Musk is about to
- 47:48Speaker 2: build the largest data center in the world. In fact,
- 47:51Speaker 2: when he builds it, it'll be the largest building ever
- 47:54Speaker 2: in the history of the world, something like forty million
- 47:57Speaker 2: square feet. It's absolutely crazy. Hey, hey, those weight loss drugs,
- 48:02Speaker 2: you know, the ozampic and with the other one. There's
- 48:04Speaker 2: a whole bunch of them with GOV and there's the
- 48:08Speaker 2: one with the diz z impact or whatever that is.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Well that's a better one too, everybody says, but how
- 48:15Speaker 2: many people take those? You know, everybody you know suddenly
- 48:19Speaker 2: losing weight. Now sometimes you see something, oh you lost
- 48:22Speaker 2: some weight, you know, you can tell they were working out,
- 48:23Speaker 2: they went on a day. But sometimes they lose too
- 48:26Speaker 2: much weight and they keep losing and losing and losing
- 48:28Speaker 2: and lose. So you know, they're on those shots. And
- 48:31Speaker 2: sometimes you see people who look volume. They look great
- 48:34Speaker 2: on that sh Look how much weight they look. But
- 48:36Speaker 2: then they keep using it, and then they lose even
- 48:38Speaker 2: more weight and they start to look bad. You know
- 48:42Speaker 2: what I'm telling you. You've got friends like that. They
- 48:44Speaker 2: start looking too thin, too bad, their faces sagging. But
- 48:47Speaker 2: how many people all together are taking those shots in America?
- 48:50Speaker 2: How many? Uh, how many take chieving? It was three
- 48:57Speaker 2: percent two years ago, it used to be three per
- 49:00Speaker 2: How many taking them now it's eleven percent, eleven percent.
- 49:05Speaker 2: That's a lot of people in America. It was three percent,
- 49:08Speaker 2: now eleven percent on those weight loss drugs. It's affecting
- 49:12Speaker 2: a lot of things, especially the restaurant business. People are
- 49:14Speaker 2: ordering less. You know, you get two people a couple
- 49:17Speaker 2: on ozempic. Now they order one entree and that's it.
- 49:21Speaker 2: They split it because they can't eat a whole one.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Some restaurants are putting together ozepic menus where they give
- 49:27Speaker 2: you a little small portion. It's a problem for bars
- 49:29Speaker 2: because you know, it affects your appetite not only for
- 49:32Speaker 2: food but for alcohol. So when you're on ozempic stuff,
- 49:35Speaker 2: you can't drink as much. So some restaurants bars now
- 49:39Speaker 2: putting out ozempic drinks because people can barely you know,
- 49:43Speaker 2: drink drink, so they put these. It's like a like
- 49:46Speaker 2: every drink's in a shot glass, mini martinis, that sort
- 49:50Speaker 2: of stuff. Hey, well, take some calls next. Eight hundred
- 49:53Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 49:57Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Bill Mark Simon Show, Live from the w o R
- 50:03Speaker 1: Life Back studios.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 50:11Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 50:15Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Let's go to Ralph in Virginia. Ralph,
- 50:19Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 50:21Speaker 14: Hey?
- 50:21Speaker 15: How you doing?
- 50:22Speaker 16: Mark?
- 50:22Speaker 15: Longcome listener first calling?
- 50:24Speaker 2: Thanks? What are you gonna it? Fell down? A well?
- 50:26Speaker 2: You sound like you're in a tunnel.
- 50:28Speaker 15: I'm in a call ye tunnel.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Okay, are you near a data center? You got them
- 50:34Speaker 2: all over Virginia Not yet.
- 50:36Speaker 15: Not yet. I mean I'm in the southwest Virginia, so
- 50:39Speaker 15: we ain't got one here yet.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Oh, what do you do down there, moonshiner. What do
- 50:43Speaker 2: you do?
- 50:44Speaker 3: Well?
- 50:45Speaker 15: Yeah, occasionally, yeah, work for a cigarette factory.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Oh, cigarette factory.
- 50:53Speaker 15: Exactly, exactly. Well, listen, you're talking about the KLT one.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:00Speaker 15: Yeah, zet bound is probably the most successful one out there.
- 51:04Speaker 15: I've been on it for about fifteen months. They gerally
- 51:09Speaker 15: to tell you about forty pounds forty sixty pounds once
- 51:11Speaker 15: you lose.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Yeah, zet bound is the best one. You don't look bad, Yeah,
- 51:15Speaker 2: you don't get that Olympics face. But what did you
- 51:18Speaker 2: go on it? You went on it for medical reasons, right.
- 51:22Speaker 15: Well, I went on to prevent that reasons.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Oh okay, to.
- 51:26Speaker 15: Prevent type two diabetes. Yea, so heart disease, all that stuff.
- 51:31Speaker 15: Insurance that Covernas have to pay out of my own
- 51:32Speaker 15: hocket four hundred forty nine dollars a month. But generally
- 51:38Speaker 15: they say you lose about sixty pounds. But I made
- 51:41Speaker 15: the lifestyle changes as well to lose one hundred and
- 51:45Speaker 15: forty eight pounds. Whoa, yeah, I was three hundred and
- 51:49Speaker 15: fifty two pounds.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Three and fifty two pounds.
- 51:54Speaker 8: Pounds.
- 51:54Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Well, the one thing.
- 51:55Speaker 15: You had to go on it, well, I didn't have
- 51:59Speaker 15: to go on it, but.
- 52:01Speaker 2: You better go on it.
- 52:03Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 52:04Speaker 15: Well I lost one hundred and forty eight pounds, which
- 52:07Speaker 15: you know I had to you know, buy all and
- 52:08Speaker 15: their clothes and everything. But still to get to those results,
- 52:12Speaker 15: you actually have to make the lifestyle change. I was
- 52:15Speaker 15: drinking like eight twenty ounce doctor Pepper's a day. I
- 52:18Speaker 15: cut out soda completely, just drunk water, black coffee, maybe
- 52:22Speaker 15: a little cream here and there. But you got to
- 52:25Speaker 15: eat what you're supposed to eat. You know, your proteins,
- 52:28Speaker 15: your your car's gonna watch all that stuff and you
- 52:31Speaker 15: will lose all that weight and you will we won't
- 52:34Speaker 15: have it, ozpic face.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:37Speaker 15: When I got down, Yeah, when I got down to
- 52:40Speaker 15: about when I lost about eighty pounds, I started going
- 52:42Speaker 15: back to the gym, exercising six days a week, lifting weight.
- 52:47Speaker 14: Uh.
- 52:47Speaker 15: And you know, with the with the lifestyle changed, with
- 52:50Speaker 15: the food and cut out all that extra sugar that
- 52:52Speaker 15: you don't need, that's when the weight really come off.
- 52:55Speaker 2: All right, Well, I'm glad you did it, Ralph, keep
- 52:57Speaker 2: it up, don't slip, keep it up. Good for you.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Thanks for Collings in Virginia. Do you know anybody else
- 53:03Speaker 2: that actually drinks Doctor Pepper he drinks eight doctor peppers
- 53:09Speaker 2: a day. I haven't had eight doctor peppers in my
- 53:11Speaker 2: whole life. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 53:15Speaker 2: you doing, good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 53:19Speaker 18: You know I was thinking about this Darling.
- 53:21Speaker 17: Was it?
- 53:21Speaker 19: Darling and Graham? The controversy that she's not that smart?
- 53:25Speaker 11: You know?
- 53:26Speaker 12: And it's like, none of these people are very smart.
- 53:28Speaker 20: I don't know why people expect, you know, Chuck Shuman
- 53:31Speaker 20: doesn't know how to grow a cheeseburg of haveing sake,
- 53:34Speaker 20: you know, you think AOC knows anything about ninety nine
- 53:37Speaker 20: percent of the stuff she's voting on.
- 53:39Speaker 18: I need them to vote right.
- 53:41Speaker 3: That's a good job.
- 53:42Speaker 2: That's a good point. Darleen Graham is probably pretty smart.
- 53:45Speaker 2: But she said there was a foreign policy question Taiwan.
- 53:48Speaker 2: She said, well, you know, I don't really know much
- 53:50Speaker 2: about foreign But the argument is she's decided to run
- 53:54Speaker 2: for the Senate, she's got a debate coming up. Why
- 53:56Speaker 2: didn't she prep Why didn't she get breathed?
- 53:58Speaker 18: Yeah, okay, that's a valid point. But you know, again,
- 54:02Speaker 18: you know this context everything you know, I mean again,
- 54:06Speaker 18: you know they're prepared when it needs they need to
- 54:08Speaker 18: be prepared, you know, when there's a vote, you know, the.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Debate, you're going to debate, they'll give you here's the
- 54:15Speaker 2: twenty five possible questions. Why not Why didn't you get briefed?
- 54:18Speaker 2: So she's bright, but is she lazy? You don't want
- 54:21Speaker 2: a lazy person.
- 54:23Speaker 10: Well, yeah, you're right.
- 54:24Speaker 12: I mean, it's an you know.
- 54:25Speaker 19: It's a valid argument, But I just think there's too
- 54:27Speaker 19: much made of that. These people have to all be
- 54:29Speaker 19: geniuses and experts on everything, and they're far from it.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I mean, and the reporter, for.
- 54:33Speaker 19: That matter, you think she knows where any of these
- 54:35Speaker 19: places are that she's asking the questions about in the.
- 54:38Speaker 3: Debate, Well, I worked at a TV newsroom.
- 54:40Speaker 19: They're not that's smart.
- 54:42Speaker 2: That was actually Greta answers and asked the question.
- 54:45Speaker 18: My point, that my point exactly.
- 54:47Speaker 2: All right, yeah, but at least she was honest. You
- 54:51Speaker 2: did never hear a politician, so you know, I don't know.
- 54:54Speaker 20: I think there's points for that for sure. You know,
- 54:57Speaker 20: it's like, hey, I don't know, well, I mean them,
- 55:00Speaker 20: and I'm sure she'll be better prepared the next time.
- 55:02Speaker 2: All right, Well, good point, Mike. Some are arguing, some
- 55:04Speaker 2: political consults are arguing it may have been dumb like
- 55:08Speaker 2: a fox what she did that. When she did that
- 55:10Speaker 2: in the debate, she goes, you know, I have to
- 55:12Speaker 2: be honest. I don't know anything about that. I just
- 55:14Speaker 2: don't know. Foreign policy is not my thing. It made
- 55:18Speaker 2: her look very honest, and it made her look very unpoliticiany,
- 55:23Speaker 2: which is good. You don't want to look like a
- 55:25Speaker 2: professional politician. So maybe it helped her. Who knows, maybe
- 55:29Speaker 2: it didn't. Let's go to Tony and Old Bridge. Tony,
- 55:31Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 55:34Speaker 21: Yeah, Hi, Mark, good morning.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Well whenever you're ready, Tony. We don't want to rush
- 55:40Speaker 2: you take your time.
- 55:41Speaker 21: Yeah. Data centers. The military many you know, would put
- 55:46Speaker 21: those data centers underground and that eliminated a lot of
- 55:50Speaker 21: the cooling issues and the noise issue.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but apparently that's a different type. Those are small
- 55:55Speaker 2: data centers. These are massive, you know, forty million square feet.
- 55:59Speaker 2: You can't put them under but you.
- 56:01Speaker 21: Can dig down.
- 56:03Speaker 2: No, you these these would be these would be way
- 56:05Speaker 2: too big to put underground. But uh, they figured out
- 56:08Speaker 2: the electricity problem. They can use tiny nuclear reactors make
- 56:13Speaker 2: their own electricity. They figured out the water problem, the
- 56:16Speaker 2: recycle the water. It's just a matter of time. But
- 56:19Speaker 2: that could be time. It could be two years before
- 56:21Speaker 2: they figure out how to do cooling without the noise.
- 56:24Speaker 2: They'll figure it out, but in the meantime, the answer
- 56:27Speaker 2: is just put them away from anything residential. As the
- 56:31Speaker 2: President himself said.
- 56:33Speaker 6: If you pick the right location, and it's got to
- 56:35Speaker 6: be not every location it's perfect.
- 56:37Speaker 1: One.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Yeah, like the one in Virginia next to the airport.
- 56:39Speaker 2: It's already noisy, perfect place for it. Let's go to
- 56:42Speaker 2: Eric in New Jersey. Eric, how you doing?
- 56:46Speaker 12: And mark the morning it shows always listen the major
- 56:49Speaker 12: works pretty good. I've been honest for like nine months.
- 56:53Speaker 12: It's dropped well was I was two fifteen and I
- 56:57Speaker 12: went down to one eighty five. I'm like my high
- 57:00Speaker 12: school military waight. And my wife also has done it.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Okay, it's the problem. You've got to take that forever, right,
- 57:06Speaker 2: if you stop, you're putting no.
- 57:07Speaker 12: No, no, no, we're on it.
- 57:09Speaker 11: Maximum.
- 57:09Speaker 12: It's going to be two years, I said. And it's
- 57:12Speaker 12: different levels like ten milligrams.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Uh no, it'll stop. Doesn't the weight come back?
- 57:18Speaker 12: No, not really, because you change your team had but
- 57:21Speaker 12: you realize, you know, I don't need that. I don't
- 57:24Speaker 12: you know, I don't crave that sweet. I wasn't a
- 57:27Speaker 12: big sweet guy, and I don't really drink, so that's
- 57:30Speaker 12: like selta. But my wife did the Coca Cola thing
- 57:33Speaker 12: and she had the Patriot and she's kind of you know,
- 57:35Speaker 12: she's five two. She was waying one fifty. You know,
- 57:38Speaker 12: she dropped, like I said, twenty twenty five.
- 57:40Speaker 2: All right, Well, good for you, good for keep it up,
- 57:42Speaker 2: keep it up, keep taking got time for one more
- 57:44Speaker 2: real fast Mike from Beth Page. What do you want
- 57:46Speaker 2: to say, Mike Mark?
- 57:48Speaker 22: How you doing last week?
- 57:50Speaker 23: I went down to Maryland to visit my brother. And
- 57:51Speaker 23: after you get through New Jersey, it's Delaware. Over the
- 57:54Speaker 23: Delaware Memorial Bridge, there's a welcome center.
- 57:56Speaker 2: I pulled in.
- 57:57Speaker 23: This is Welcome to Delaware, home of President Joseph R.
- 58:01Speaker 23: Biden Jr. And it's the Biden Welcome Center. Is that
- 58:04Speaker 23: what Delaware has to be proud of?
- 58:06Speaker 15: That's it?
- 58:06Speaker 2: Well, I'm afraid so it's a good point. But yeah,
- 58:09Speaker 2: that's it. I mean, what is Delaware known for? Except
- 58:13Speaker 2: that's where all the corporate the corporations file. They're all
- 58:16Speaker 2: Delaware corporation.
- 58:18Speaker 23: Was it the first state?
- 58:20Speaker 15: No?
- 58:20Speaker 2: I don't think it was the first state. We'll look
- 58:22Speaker 2: it up. But Delaware. Yeah, listen, it's a tiny, tiny state.
- 58:25Speaker 2: If you had a president come out of your little
- 58:27Speaker 2: tiny state. That's the name he used, the Joseph R.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Biden Welcome Center. Welcome Center. It means it's the restroom
- 58:35Speaker 2: on the highway. Anyway, we'll be we'll talk to Michael Goodwin.
- 58:40Speaker 2: The great columnist, Michael Goodwin coming up next on seven
- 58:43Speaker 2: to ten wo R.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Mark Zillman now nine till noon weekdays on seven ten
- 58:51Speaker 1: wo R.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Well The best columnist in America, Michael Goodwin every Sunday,
- 58:59Speaker 2: every Windy in the New York Post. And get all
- 59:02Speaker 2: his columns. They're all up on the New York Post website.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Michael Goodwin, how are you?
- 59:07Speaker 22: Good morning?
- 59:08Speaker 17: Mark?
- 59:08Speaker 22: Thank you.
- 59:09Speaker 2: I loved yesterday's column. Kathy Hochel, What is she pretending
- 59:14Speaker 2: to be moderate? She's pretending to be this? What is
- 59:17Speaker 2: she really? Do you think? Deep down?
- 59:19Speaker 22: Well, she's also she revealed in an interview with The
- 59:24Speaker 22: New York Times, she's like mom, Donny's mother counseling him,
- 59:31Speaker 22: you know, don't do this, speak this way, you know,
- 59:35Speaker 22: do this, don't do that. I think that for me,
- 59:40Speaker 22: this is the final sign. Of course, she greenlighted theater's
- 59:46Speaker 22: at tax and funneled a lot of state money to
- 59:50Speaker 22: the city. But this to me is a clear linkage
- 59:55Speaker 22: that I believe Bruce Blakeman, the Republican opponent, really should
- 1:00:01Speaker 22: be running against Mamdani as much as Hoko because they
- 1:00:06Speaker 22: are so closely connected now that there's no separation, and
- 1:00:12Speaker 22: I think that's something he to alert state tax payers
- 1:00:17Speaker 22: to and the city tax payers as well.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: So Blakeman's a strong candidate, She's in a very, very
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: tough race. Is that why she's trying to get so
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: close to Mam Donna She feels she can't win unless
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: his voters back her.
- 1:00:33Speaker 22: Yes, I mean, I think you know, are just a
- 1:00:36Speaker 22: short history view that Republicans need to get somewhere around
- 1:00:44Speaker 22: thirty five percent of the vote in New York City
- 1:00:49Speaker 22: in order to win statewide. They will Republican candidates will
- 1:00:54Speaker 22: win many counties up state, but the real population center,
- 1:00:59Speaker 22: such as the city, they're close in suburbs Buffalo, for example,
- 1:01:06Speaker 22: So the Republicans only get a fraction of that vote,
- 1:01:11Speaker 22: maybe twenty five thirty percent. If they can get thirty
- 1:01:15Speaker 22: five percent, let's say in New York City, he would
- 1:01:19Speaker 22: Blakeman will probably win the election. So that's why I
- 1:01:23Speaker 22: think that the city is unpopular in much of the state.
- 1:01:29Speaker 22: Right the city's politics are to the left of much
- 1:01:33Speaker 22: of the state. And so that's why I think that
- 1:01:37Speaker 22: Blakeman needs to make Mandani, you know, a central figure
- 1:01:42Speaker 22: in his campaign against SOCO, because if not, the state
- 1:01:47Speaker 22: is going to become more like the city.
- 1:01:51Speaker 16: With East sixteen by part.
- 1:01:54Speaker 22: That's where I think Blakeman has an opportunity to warn
- 1:01:58Speaker 22: the rest of the state that you're going to get
- 1:02:01Speaker 22: a Mom Donnie in your town if you're not careful,
- 1:02:04Speaker 22: and if you reelect Hockel.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Well, if you noticed hoche is running, She's got a
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: ton of money. She's running TV commercials all over the place,
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: tying Blakeman so closely to Donald Trump, saying he's the
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: MAGA candidate, and he shows him hugging Trump and all.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Is that going to hurt him? I don't really think
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: it'll hurt him that much, will it.
- 1:02:23Speaker 22: It could? I mean in certain areas I think that
- 1:02:27Speaker 22: you know, Trump for example, in twenty twenty four, the
- 1:02:32Speaker 22: state New York State moved to red from blue to red.
- 1:02:37Speaker 22: Further than any other state in the country. But still
- 1:02:42Speaker 22: Trump only got forty just about forty four percent statewide.
- 1:02:48Speaker 22: He got thirty percent in the five boroughs. But forty
- 1:02:53Speaker 22: four percent is impressive compared to what it was, but
- 1:02:57Speaker 22: it's not nearly enough. So I do think that Blakeman
- 1:03:02Speaker 22: is going to have to you know, if Trump is
- 1:03:08Speaker 22: a problem for Blakeman, then I think Blakeman has to
- 1:03:11Speaker 22: make Mom Donnie's yeah a problem for a local.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely. Hey, one thing about Mom Donnie. We're talking
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: to Michael Goodwin. I'm starting not to worry about him
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: very much because it's all talk. He never gets anything done.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: You'll never live to see these grocery stores. Even he's
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: talking about now we've got to fix the BQE. It's very,
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: very bad. It's got to be fixed. He said the
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: construction will start in twenty thirty and takes ten years.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: He never gets anything, does he. I mean, do we
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: really have to worry that much?
- 1:03:44Speaker 22: Well, I think that's basically right, Mark. I think he
- 1:03:49Speaker 22: has not been successful, for example, and you know, pulling
- 1:03:53Speaker 22: him back the police stuff like that. But I do
- 1:03:58Speaker 22: think that his goal are from the most point really poisonous.
- 1:04:03Speaker 22: So these grocery stores for example, free free bus right,
- 1:04:10Speaker 22: The MTA says, just the talk of free buses is
- 1:04:16Speaker 22: encouraging more people to evade the fair. So it's already
- 1:04:22Speaker 22: having an impact. And I think that you know, he's
- 1:04:26Speaker 22: spending is out of control, and so that's going to
- 1:04:30Speaker 22: drive up the cost of government, the need for taxes.
- 1:04:35Speaker 22: I mean, what happens in the city has another fiscal crisis.
- 1:04:40Speaker 22: So I do think there is danger in his administration.
- 1:04:47Speaker 22: I mean, it's an odd thing. You're right though if
- 1:04:49Speaker 22: he succeeds, it's even worse. But the mere fact of
- 1:04:54Speaker 22: what he wants to do not to scare a lot
- 1:04:57Speaker 22: of people straight.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, this scheme of has closed Rikers Island, opened
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: five prisons around the city. Again he gets nothing done,
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: but it's a crazy scheme. It makes no sense to
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: close Rikers Island, does it?
- 1:05:14Speaker 17: No?
- 1:05:15Speaker 22: And then the idea is you would have to replace
- 1:05:19Speaker 22: it with a jail in each borough. Now name the
- 1:05:24Speaker 22: neighborhood and wants to jail next door. I mean, it's
- 1:05:30Speaker 22: one of those things that be preposterously expensive and disruptive
- 1:05:36Speaker 22: and unpopular. So, yeah, charge have had a.
- 1:05:40Speaker 12: Big guy, but you're not.
- 1:05:42Speaker 22: That's not a winning formula, and it's not a winning
- 1:05:45Speaker 22: formula for public safety. I mean, you basically have to
- 1:05:49Speaker 22: be records and most of these.
- 1:05:52Speaker 17: Five new jails will not.
- 1:05:56Speaker 22: Hold violent criminals, So what do you do with violent
- 1:06:00Speaker 22: in criminals? So it's a silly idea, but it's one
- 1:06:04Speaker 22: of those leftist things like free rent on everything else
- 1:06:09Speaker 22: that dis erupts and causes a lot of fear of noise.
- 1:06:13Speaker 22: So even if he doesn't get it done, I think
- 1:06:17Speaker 22: it's still upseting, and it still gives a city a
- 1:06:20Speaker 22: kind of negative vibe that I think will not be
- 1:06:24Speaker 22: good for the city's economic future.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, the good news is if it's going to
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: take him five years to build a tiny grocery store,
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: that that sixteen story jail he's proposing in change that'll
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: take him fifty years. So you'll hope we're lucky. Yeah. Well,
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Michael Goodwin, great stuff. Everybody can you can read Michael
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Goodwin's Sunday column and it's every Sunday and every Wednesday,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: and all his columns are up on the New York
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Post website. Michael Goodwin, thanks for being with.
- 1:06:54Speaker 22: Us, my pleasure, Mark.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Take care. Yeah, it's a good thinking about Mom Donnie.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: He gets nothing done. The grocery store head. It's a little, tiny, nothing,
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: little little grocery store. Some about three years, four years
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: to build this thing. So his sixteen story jail figure
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: fifty years minimum. He'll never get it done. You know
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: one thing about Trump When he says he's gonna build something.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Remember said he was gonna build something in the rose garden. Look,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: a week later it's there. Decides he's gonna build that heliport.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Two days later it's there the ballroom. Decide he's gonna
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: build a ball or the next day they've got a
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: hole in the ground. The next day they've got girders going.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: I mean it's fast. Things get done fast. The good
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: thing about Mom Donnie, nothing ever gets done. He can
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: rush out those TikTok videos, producing TikTok videos, fast efficient,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: building something, forget it, he'll never ever ever live to
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: see it. Hey, I don't forget. I don't forget. I'm
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: here nine to noon every day. It's now a three
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: hour show. Yeah, we start at nine am every day,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: so this show is now nine to noon. Then at
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: noon Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. You get two hosts
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: for the price of one and twice as much information
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: going on. Then at three o'clock you got the most
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity. At three,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: you got Jesse Kelly at six, and then Jimmy Fayla
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: does a really funny interesting shows every night. It's nine
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: to midnight here on seven to ten WR.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Now nine till noon weekday Smart Simo only on seven tenof.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Well, is this is a good idea of Pizza Hut
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: changing their name. It's just for twenty five weeks football season,
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: but twenty five weeks that's half a year, so they
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: want to just call themselves hut. I don't know why. Well,
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: if you look at the what they're proposing, you know
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: the store, the big logos at they're Pizza Hut. So
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: they're removing the word pizza. It'll be a big football
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: and then the word hut, so it'll be like football hut.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: But they're just calling it Hut for twenty five weeks.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: It doesn't sound like a good idea. You know, anytime
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: anybody changes stuff at cracker barrel or the bud light
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: or whoever, it doesn't work. It really doesn't work, so
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: it'll just be hot and oh, I guess hut is
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: like a football term too, So they started, you know,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: the actual headquarters is Plano, Texas. So they unveiled the
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: first store there with no pizza on the sign, just hut.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: It sounds terrible. Dave Portnoy says he thinks it's a
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: brilliant strategic move. But then Portnite admits he's trying to
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: get Pizza Hut to be one of his sponsors on
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: his website. So he said, they think he's smart. It's
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: football season there. It is football with the hut, he said,
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: I am trying to sign them up as sponsors. So
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: he's not in a position to criticism. Now it does
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: sound pretty stupid. Hey, don't forget El Sayad. This crazy
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: l Sayad who's running in Michigan, Mohammed Abdul al Sayad.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Remember Vice President Vance, who's from Ohio, neighboring state, was
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: sent to campaign against him.
- 1:10:20Speaker 24: El sayed, this guy running for Senate in Michigan. He
- 1:10:23Speaker 24: once argued not too long ago that criticisms of sharia
- 1:10:27Speaker 24: law were rooted in white supremacist I'd love to go
- 1:10:32Speaker 24: back in time and tell my papal that there's a
- 1:10:35Speaker 24: man who claims to stand for working people, who says,
- 1:10:38Speaker 24: not only should we have Sharia law, but if you
- 1:10:40Speaker 24: criticize it, you're a white supremacist. That's not my Pappal's
- 1:10:44Speaker 24: Democrat party, my friends.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so Advance is a good person there, Ohio, Michigan's neighboring.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: It's kind of the same place. He speaks to the language,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: so Advance there. Now, remember el Sayad will appear on
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Fox tonight. He's going on with you Waters on the
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: eight o'clock show. Some think this is a recipe for disaster,
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: but this l Sayad crazy like a Fox who knows
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: what he's up to. Obviously they'll hit him with anything
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: and everything, and I'll have to defend himself. So this
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: could be disaster for him tonight, or who knows, it
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: could help him getting attacked on Fox. But we'll see.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Gonna be a beautiful day to day, and tomorrow and
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: Wednesday it could be some rain on Thursday. We got
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: three beautiful summer days as we're in the last couple
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: of weeks of summer, so enjoy today. Got a lot
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: to get to in the next day. We'll get to
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: that ridiculous duo Harry and Meghan these two self deporting
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: idiots leaving the country. We'll get to why and more,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: we'll get to Donnie and more of his schemes coming up.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Mark Simone here nine to noon, nine am till noon.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: It's three hour show. Now nine to noon every day
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: right here on seven to ten. Wo here's more.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Mark Simoner, Hey, it's our number three.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a three hour show. Now this today. A
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: little later, Scott Besstt will announce steps being taken against
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Iran to once and for all put them out of business.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: The economy in a shambles over there. We have completely
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: shut down all revenue coming into Iran. And final step
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: will be well, the next step. It might not be
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: the final step, but hopefully this will be all that's necessary.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Bessett will announce in toughest economic sanctions ever on a country.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: He's calling it the Economic Offensive, and he'll announce that
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: later today. Things are looking really bad in te Iran.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Even the New York Post, which is often very critical
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: of Donald Trump, said clearly he's winning this. They are
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: completely crippled economically. I know you watch TV and there's
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: the Supreme Commander Iranian this and that, and he's got
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: medals and epaulets and a hat. But he's working out
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: of a cave and they're completely broke, completely cut off.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Their economies in total collapse. There is absolutely no oil
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: flowing for them. We're using the straight of horn Moose.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: We've got oil flowing on the southern corridor, but their
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: northern corridor ran unable to use it at all. Its
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: largest trading partner, the UAE, has cut them off from
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: all transactions. Dubai, which was a key to helping Tehran
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: evade sanctions through the years, has now cut them off.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: Iranian inflations at ninety percent, so it's pretty bad. It's
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: looking pretty grim. So we'll hear what these sanctions are
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: a little later today, and then some think Iran can't
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: last another couple of weeks with this economic economic damage.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Prince Harry, we'll get the Prince Hair and the Megan
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Markle coming up. They're leaving, thank god. Hear the story
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: on the news of pot seventeen percent smoking weed, smoking
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: pot seventeen percent of America. Now, from what I hear, Mom,
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Donnie has gone over the top with the pot use.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Apparently this is like his main activity. Now, remember that
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: happened with Deblasio where it didn't see much at the
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: Blasio and at night, you never some you know, normally,
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: when you're the mayor of New York, when you're Giuliani,
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: when you're at Kach, when you're Bloomberg. Every night you're
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: out as mayor, you're running around to every event. You're
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: at the charity Galla to shake hands, You're at this
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: other event, you're at a ribbon. You're just running around
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: doing events. Every night. You're at Yankee Stadium, you're here,
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: you're there. You're just a big part of New York
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: and every night there's a bunch of very important events
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: and you're there. Nobody ever saw the Blasio at anything
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: nothing ever. Ever, he was behind the walls the Gracie mansion.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Remember he had the walls made higher, you know, the
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: eight foot wall became a sixteen foot wall because you
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: didn't want you to see what was going on in there.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: But you could see the smoke, and you could you
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: could smell that pot in the air coming there. And
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: then a lot of people are on his police detail
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: started to complain that when they left him, their clothes
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: smelled like pot. So we're getting the same reports now
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: about Mom Donnie. Apparently that's going on. But that's good.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: Let the guy gets nothing done, now, let him just
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: get stoned into absolutely nothing. The BQE, the part that
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: the city owns or runs, the BQUE the Brooklyn Queen's Expressway,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: looks like it's in total disrepair. They showed video where
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: you could see it's coming apart, it's cracking, the concrete.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: The whole gotta be fixed. So Mom Donnie announced it'll
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: be fixed. He's god, they're gonna fix it. He's going
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: to plan to fix it. They're going to start in
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: twenty thirty. That's four years right now. They're gonna start
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: in four years. He predicts the construction will take ten years,
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: so that's twenty forty.
- 1:16:14Speaker 14: Now.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Again, this is Mom Donnie. The guy's just a kid.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: He's thirty two years old. He's never had a job
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: in his life, never had a job, never worked. So
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: they'll start in twenty thirty. You know, it's like, you know,
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: if the road at Trump's golf course in Bedminster had
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: problems it was all cracked, that would be fixed by
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: five o'clock today, by five o'clock they'd have it all fixed.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: But this is construction on this will start in twenty thirty.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: In four years they'll start. You see the Grand Prix
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: yesterday in Washington, DC. The President was there. It was
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: it's not Formula when this is actually IndyCar. You got NASCAR,
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: which is like stop cars, and then real racing cars.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: It's like Indy Car, which is like in the middle,
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: like the Indianapolis five hundred, and then you got the
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Formula one that's like the highest and the fancy race cars.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: But this was Indy Car. It was all around the
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: streets of Washington, d C. President Trump waved the green flag.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Apparently it drove the left nuts, the left wing cooks,
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: the climate change people, they went nuts because you remember,
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: these are Indie racing cars. They burned more fuel in
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: two seconds than most cars burn in a year. I
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: mean they go through twenty tanks of gas in a race.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: And President Trump's waving a green flag. It drove them nuts.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: This guy was he the winner? Kirkwood.
- 1:17:48Speaker 25: It will only be one winner of the freedom to
- 1:17:50Speaker 25: fifty and how fits a that is Kyle as a
- 1:17:55Speaker 25: sectary of transportation waves.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: The check at flag.
- 1:17:59Speaker 25: Kyle cockwo wins an American on the top step of
- 1:18:03Speaker 25: the podium at the Freedom to fifteen.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Yes see, that gets liberals very upset. The real left wing,
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: the climate change. They like the way the electric car sounds.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: It sounds like this, that's the that makes they don't like.
- 1:18:19Speaker 25: The man of the Freedom to fifty.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: That sound that is Kyle. That sound upsets them. So
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: is this President Trump? I mean no, this is this
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: is Kirkwood. This is Kirkwood himself.
- 1:18:36Speaker 26: I mean, it hasn't really settled in yet. Right, Like
- 1:18:39Speaker 26: I won the race, I get out of the car,
- 1:18:41Speaker 26: I see President Trump sitting there cheering me on as
- 1:18:45Speaker 26: a proud American. That's a that's a that's a pretty
- 1:18:47Speaker 26: big deal to have the president cheering you on. Nothing
- 1:18:51Speaker 26: else like it, right.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty amazing. But these climate change lefties. You
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: know the other thing in California, they're trying to banires. Now,
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: that's the way. They don't want anybody driving a car anymore.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: So they they're trying to pass some crazy law that'll
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: outlaw like seventy five percent of the tires sold, which
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: means you won't be able to get tires for your car.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: So when they see a Formula one or when they
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: see Indy car, I drive them crazy. You know, these
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: guys in one race, they'll use like twenty sets of tires.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: You know, they pull into the pit stop every twenty
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: minutes have the tires change. And those are big, enormous
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: tires and they just wear them down to nothing, so
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: they have to change the tires and the old tires
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: are thrown out. So you never see this at you know,
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: when you're watching IndyCar and NASCAR, But at the end
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: of the day, massive trucks have to come and pick
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: up three hundred used tires or more than that, seven
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: hundred used tires and throw them out. This drives the
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: left crazy, not to mention all that gas they keep
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: keep burning. But it was beautiful to watch, very picturesque
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Long Island. Your good news. You got Bruce Blakeman as
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: you county executive in Nassau County, and there was a
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: terrible damage from that storm, the tornado that hit the
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Atlantic Beach Club there. You know, he lives there, he
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: lives right near there, so he's on top of it.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: They're getting that fixed, luckily, nobody hurt and taking care
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: of that, putting everything back together. That's good news. Hey.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: The other Mam Donnie crazy thing is this crazy mom.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: Donnie is teaming up with the DSA, these Democratic Socialists
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: and the Teamsters and they're trying to keep Amazon out
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: of New York. You know, Amazon wanted to build some
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: facilities here, Well, why would you do that? Well, because
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: they use they hire local delivery firms. They don't bring
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: in their own guys. So Amazon uses about forty small
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: businesses to do the delivery on the ground. Well what's
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: wrong with this? This sounds great. They come in, they
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: hire forty local delivery companies, they build big warehouses here.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: The warehouse is not like a data center. Warehouse is quiet, nice,
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: So why would you be against this? You know this
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: Amazon stuff is like ten thousand jobs in New York.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Well it's Mamdani, the DSA, Democratic Socialists, and the Teamsters. Well,
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: apparently the problem is these are small businesses, these delivery companies,
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: and they're not union. So just because they're not union,
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: but these small businesses, delivery businesses, they seem fine with it.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: But because of that, they're going to give Amazon a
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: hard time and basically chase them out of the city.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: So Amazon is already talking about moving all operations to
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: New Jersey. That would cost New York about ten thousand jobs.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: And by the way, those jobs impact minorities the most.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: You'd think that's something that I'm Donnie and the DSA
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: would care about, but they're being led around by these unions.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: In fact, they're talking about they're trying to get the
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: city count to pass a law that Amazon can't use
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: subcontractors in the city for delivery. Again, that would cause
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: them to move to New Jersey. You know the great
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: thing if you're in New York City, if you're in
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: the middle of Manhattan, you order some on Amazon, you
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: get it the next day. If you're in the suburbs,
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: you know, you're lucky. If you it might be two days,
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: three days from city always next day. That could change
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: if Mom Donnie gets away with this crap. You know
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: the city council. You got Julie men and the city
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: council speaker. She's a pretty common sense, middle of the
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: road type, but you got crazies on the city council,
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: so she's got to stop this. They're proposing all kinds
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: of stupid things. They're backing dozens of ridiculous bills. There's
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: one that would abolish the NYPD gang database, which you
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: really need. You know, if they arrest somebody, they got
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: a database of the gangs. They can check right away
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: see if this is a gang member. City council proposing
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: to get rid of that so they can't fight the
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: gangs and the game members as much. There's also one
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: bill a set of thirty dollars minimum wage that would
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: put a lot of businesses out of business. You can't
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: pay thirty dollars minimum wage. There's another one would give
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: pet owners sick leave if their dogs are ill. I
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: don't know. I mean that sounds pretty stupid. But if
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: you got a dog and you'll love your dog, and
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: your dog is sick and you want to be home
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: with it, but it's still it's it's ridiculous. So hopefully
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: they got to stop all these crazy bills. Hey, Jared
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Kushner the President's chief negotiator. I don't know what this
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Jared Kushner does. He look like a chief negotiator. Do
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: you ever hear him talk? I mean, I can't picture
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: him talking to terrorist Iranians, but listen to President knows
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: more about that stuff than I do. Negotiating, so he's
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: got Jared doing it. I met with Hakim Jeffries late
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: last week, Jared Kushner met with Hakim Jeffries to negotiate.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: I guess they're thinking, what happens if the Democrats win,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Jeffries will become the Speaker of the House. That's a
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: frightening thought. A mutual friend that both of them arranged
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: a private space in New York City. That means they
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: did it in somebody's apartment. They got together, the two
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: of them, and talked. They were trying to find common ground,
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: and they discussed certain things that the Trump Republicans and
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: the Hakeem Jeffrey left wing could agree on. One was housing,
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: one was immigration and high cost of the living. Now
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: why would they do this, Well, it could be that
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: they're just being cautious. You know, Trump realizing he could
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: lose the midterms. It doesn't look bad for him in
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: the polling right now, but who knows what polling they got.
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: So in case the Democrats take office, they want to
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: get along better with Jefferies because he would be in
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: you know, it could be impeachment every week. Every week,
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: they'd be trying to impeach the president over something or
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: cut him off from all funding. So that's why they're
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: reaching out to Hakeem Jeffries makes sense for the Trump people,
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: but Jefferies getting a lot of flak from the crazy left.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: They're all upset now. They're mad at Hakim Jeffries for
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: taking the meeting. He will not say that he met
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: with him, but it is confirmed by multiple sources. Also
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: says the two men have stayed in touch through the years.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: You got to remember, Jared Kushner was in the Trump
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: White House in the first term, way back when he
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: was in the first term, and Jeffries was in Congress then.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: So apparently they've had a relationship for a long time.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: This is not sounding good for Jeffries, you know, the
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: crazy left hates him. Hey, so this couple is in
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: the met the Metro Museum, the Great Museum on Fifth
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: Avenue up in the eighties, the met and the guy
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: is going to propose to his girlfriend and in the
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: museum there's a certain spot. Now, the reason they were
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: doing this apparently that's where they met. They met in
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: the Metropolpit Museum. It's quite a wonderful, touching story, isn't it.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: Not Really, who's this guy going around picking up women
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: in the met But that's how they met. So they're
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: getting engaged, very touching. They go over to the spot
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: and he gets down on one knee to propose, and
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: before he consay anything, the security guard comes over yelling
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: at him.
- 1:26:41Speaker 17: Get up.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: You can't be on your knees. There's a role against that.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: You're not allowed to do that. Stand up, and he's
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: like screaming at the guy. Well, when they were getting
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: engaged where he was going to propose, he had his
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: friend with the camera doing video, so they caught the
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: security guard on video doing that. It's gone viral now
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: people have The museum won't say much, they will not comment,
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: but people are saying there's no rule that you can't
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: get down on your knee and that the guard was
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: being overzealous. The self appointed Romance police cited a non
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: existent rule that says here about engagements being forbidden at
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: this venerable house of art. He started off by saying
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: proposals aren't allowed. Well, of course they are, and he
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: ordered the person to stop filming. Well, of course you're
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: allowed to film there. So but I'm just one thing,
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: because every day you go on Instagram, every day you
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: see somebody proposing. They're in Central Park at the bridge
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: they're on top of the Empire State Building. Stop please
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: with the engagement videos. Just stop. Take a picture. We
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: don't need the whole video. It's always in the middle
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: of the park. It's like top of the Empire State Building.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: It's up on some rooftup I don't know. I guess
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: it's okay. You know, it's very touching. Let's come back
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: fifteen years later see if this couple is still married.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Let's come back five years later, see if they're still smiling.
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: So anyway, we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: three two one.
- 1:28:18Speaker 17: Hey.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: We always like to get some new calls. If you
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: had never called before, we're looking for new callers. Eight
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Mark simone three? The
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Mark Someone show now nine till noon weekdays.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: Seven to TENO. Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is number. Let's go
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: to Jack in Providence, Rhode Island. Jack, how you doing, Mark?
- 1:28:54Speaker 16: We watch you once for twenty four hours a day.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Wait. Wait, wait, hang on, hang on, hang on this
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: cause like it's from Providence. It's not a little in
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: New York Ish where you're from.
- 1:29:04Speaker 16: Really, I'm originally from the Bronx and we moved up
- 1:29:07Speaker 16: to Rhode Island because you know, the Bronx kind of
- 1:29:10Speaker 16: there's no there's no morals in the Bronx. There's one.
- 1:29:13Speaker 17: They built it.
- 1:29:13Speaker 16: They finally.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: Anyway, where are you? Where are you in the Providence?
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Right in the city, I'm I'm on.
- 1:29:19Speaker 16: The south that's University.
- 1:29:22Speaker 27: But listen, it's a little less a.
- 1:29:25Speaker 16: Pace of life up there.
- 1:29:26Speaker 27: You know.
- 1:29:27Speaker 16: I still miss the Bronx in New York City. But
- 1:29:29Speaker 16: the thing is Mark, we have to stop legal immigration
- 1:29:33Speaker 16: in a million and a half Third World is in
- 1:29:35Speaker 16: every single year, one hundred million total over fifty sixty years,
- 1:29:39Speaker 16: and people are scratching their heads white. It is a
- 1:29:41Speaker 16: third World country.
- 1:29:42Speaker 10: We have a.
- 1:29:43Speaker 16: Colony in China. The top communist leader is there's your question.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: It's like eleven in the morning. What are you so
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: upset about? Calm down, beautiful summer day, Go ahead and
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: enjoy yourself. Do you understand these people as soon as
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: they wake up, we have to stop. I don't think
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: he's from Providence. I don't think so. Let's go to
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: h Randall in Maryland. Randall, how you doing, Hi?
- 1:30:09Speaker 27: Mark?
- 1:30:10Speaker 10: Mark.
- 1:30:11Speaker 27: In the old days, you were a celebrity because you
- 1:30:14Speaker 27: were somebody special. Now you're something special because you're a celebrity.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: Well, it's a lot of buttering up. I mean, it's
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: very flattering. I don't know what all this buttering up
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: is about. But I hear a butt coming? What's the butt?
- 1:30:28Speaker 22: But no, I'm talking about coming.
- 1:30:35Speaker 27: Be nice, Megan, Harry. You don't have to worry about them.
- 1:30:38Speaker 23: They're celebrities.
- 1:30:39Speaker 12: That's their stock in trade.
- 1:30:41Speaker 27: That's just like your mayor and my governor.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: No, Megan and Harry are two of the most useless idiots. No,
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: two of the most annoying people on earth.
- 1:30:50Speaker 27: But I agree, I agree. But why are they? You know,
- 1:30:52Speaker 27: why are they so important?
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: Anyway? Thanks for what is he talking about? Who said
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: they were important? We like to make fun of them.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: They're just nice to make fun of. Obviously they're not important,
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: otherwise they'd get a job. Let's go to Ralph in Manhattan. Ralph,
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: how you doing, Mark? You mad? You made a song?
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 1:31:10Speaker 10: Don't.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: We don't like people with deeper voices than me.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: I try to. I try to do soprano.
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: Oh did you used to be on the radio or something?
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: You sound great. You have a big radio voice. Oh,
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: I appreciate that. Yeah, I do a little radio. But
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: there's the I appreciate that. The you know, seventeen percent,
- 1:31:29Speaker 7: you're talking about a huge, huge number. Every time I
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: walk down the street Manhattan, ninth Avenue, wherever I am,
- 1:31:36Speaker 7: I can't get away from the pot. There's nowhere that
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: they won't smoke. They smoke constantly, constantly, constantly. But I
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: would say, I make one leave.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: Mark. Let me just say, I think the seventeen percent
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: is a national figure. In Manhattan, that might be seventy
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: five percent. But if you're walking around you got Garden City,
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: Long Island, it's probably zero percent.
- 1:31:57Speaker 7: So it's you got you got it, you got it.
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: The one the one that I would say, just if
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: you're going to smoke your pot, just smoked in the
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: privacy of your own home, just do it. Don't put
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: it on me. I'm trying. I'm out there trying to
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: exercise at six o'clock. At six o'clock in the morning, Mark,
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: it's fascinating there's smoke when we have breakfast they're smoking pot.
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: It's ridiculous.
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: Yeah, uh no, it's a good point. You know, I
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: got allergies. I can't smell. I really can't smell anything
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: when I go out there. So I'm fine. I'm walking
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: down the street and enjoying myself. Whoever went with go,
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: oh my god, the smell. It's like this allergy is
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: the best thing you're gonna have. You don't smell anything
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: in New York. Let's go to Richard and Bay Shore. Richard,
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: how you doing, I'm doing well.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 1:32:36Speaker 22: I heard this morning that Larry MENTI and Curtis said
- 1:32:38Speaker 22: pulled ahead of a sit in the morning in the ratings.
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: So I was like, I don't know that. I don't
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: know if that's true. They're pretty even. It's always very coy.
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: You did you get in the extra hour?
- 1:32:49Speaker 22: Have anything to do with that?
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no no no. I you know
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: what it is. Everybody's lying about their ratings everywhere. I mean,
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: I've heard guys give out fake numbers a seven point
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: four to one point for it's absolutely not true. There's
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: no such number. So if one side's going to make
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: up numbers, the other side makes up numbers, you'll notice
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: I never say a word because I don't have to
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: make up numbers. But both listen, there's a couple of
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: morning shows. They're both great, they both do very very well,
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: and it's a nice business. It's a fun radio business.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: It's a big community. No reason to fight with everybody. Oh,
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: let's go to Chris Bethpage. Chris, how you doing?
- 1:33:30Speaker 14: Hey, Mark, I think you should personally hire me a
- 1:33:33Speaker 14: screen calls because that first guy from Providence was Steve
- 1:33:36Speaker 14: from Manhattan. I know that guy anyway, the gobue counting gun.
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: Yeah right, you know it's funny. They always try to
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: lie and they say, I'm calling you from Idaho. But
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: when the guy calls, he goes with you with that
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: accident and like you're not going to say, I know,
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:33:53Speaker 14: He The reason I did call Mark was because I
- 1:33:55Speaker 14: want to agree with h What do you guys were
- 1:33:58Speaker 14: saying before about men DOMI you don't think he's you know,
- 1:34:02Speaker 14: he's going to be relatively harmless. But Bruce Blateman, I
- 1:34:05Speaker 14: would be out thet twenty four to seven. You got
- 1:34:08Speaker 14: a campaign against Mendamie. That's the key, that's the key
- 1:34:11Speaker 14: to him getting elected.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, well he does he does do it. He does
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: do that.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he is campaigning twenty four to seven. He is always, always,
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: always bashioned Hochele and tying her to mom Donnie. And
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: it's a good thing to do, you right, Let's go
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 1:34:27Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark, Mark, Meghan and Harry have just become
- 1:34:31Speaker 8: another British couple receiving welfare, royalty welfare. Mark Mandamie and
- 1:34:39Speaker 8: the City Council are coming up with all these kookie
- 1:34:41Speaker 8: ideas like paid sick leave for your dog. Just call
- 1:34:46Speaker 8: up you're near his doggie daycat sat there and they'll
- 1:34:50Speaker 8: send somebody over to take care of your dog. You
- 1:34:52Speaker 8: gotta pay for it, which the city council communists don't like.
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: Mark Mandamie's talking about all these projects like the doggy
- 1:35:01Speaker 8: day for care, like taking twenty years to fix the Bikui. Well,
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: since Friday and yesterday morning my house where I personally live,
- 1:35:12Speaker 8: my basement got flooded out twice already. And you saw
- 1:35:16Speaker 8: what happened in Queens and Potslope and on other areas,
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: especially in Befit steibersid Mark. The catch basins in this
- 1:35:24Speaker 8: city every spring used to the City Works department. We
- 1:35:30Speaker 8: go around with a David and crane, open up all
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: the sewers and catch basins and clean them out. So
- 1:35:36Speaker 8: the faster the water the rainfalls in the street, the
- 1:35:39Speaker 8: faster it goes into this catch basin, the faster it
- 1:35:43Speaker 8: goes into the main sewer and not into people's house.
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: Really in a few seconds, was that the probably stop
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: cleaning that thing up exactly.
- 1:35:50Speaker 17: The last time they cleaned a sewer in front of
- 1:35:53Speaker 17: my house was when they were looking for a murder
- 1:35:55Speaker 17: row weapon. About eighteen years ago. They cleaned the seow
- 1:35:59Speaker 17: on the corner. Somebody got murdered on my block.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: Uh gee, uh, we won't ask where you were at
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: the time.
- 1:36:07Speaker 17: Yeah, we won't, Okay, But anyway.
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: But Vincent, that's a very good point because we all
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: had this, we've all our lives. We didn't see all
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: this flooding all of a sudden we're seeing.
- 1:36:16Speaker 17: Yeah, very good point.
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: Very good point, Vincent, great call. Thanks for Colin. Hey,
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: we'll take a break for the news, get caught up
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: on everything, and then Rob Shooter will be with us.
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: He's the best Royals expert there is, so well, he'll
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: give us the real story and we'll get to that
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: next on seven to ten WR. Welcome back to the
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: Mark Simone Show.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: Live from the WR Life Back Studios.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: Well, hey, Rob Shooter, the great writer columnist. You know
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: his last book was the big best seller. He's got
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: a new book coming out and you can pre order
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: it right now. It's a new novel called Queen Elizabeth
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: the Third. Queen Elizabeth, iid go pre order where you
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: get books, Amazon, wherever? Rob Shooter's new novel. Rob Shooter,
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 1:37:02Speaker 11: Name?
- 1:37:02Speaker 17: Mark?
- 1:37:03Speaker 28: I said, it's a curious title, isn't it, Queen Elizabeth
- 1:37:06Speaker 28: the Third?
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: What does it mean?
- 1:37:07Speaker 28: It's sets fifteen years in the future. So we skipped
- 1:37:12Speaker 28: forward to twenty forty and there's a new royal on
- 1:37:16Speaker 28: the throne and the person who is sitting with the
- 1:37:19Speaker 28: crown on their head is going to surprise you.
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: Don't don't tell me her name is Megan, not.
- 1:37:27Speaker 28: Megan's baby, baby, Megan's daughter? Why what?
- 1:37:34Speaker 13: What?
- 1:37:38Speaker 28: Of course, the trouble with this, it's so delicious to
- 1:37:41Speaker 28: write so that it starts with an awful accident above
- 1:37:44Speaker 28: Belle Moral and I literally wipe out the royal family
- 1:37:47Speaker 28: and then they have to follow the line of succession
- 1:37:50Speaker 28: and they follow the lion, and the person that ends
- 1:37:52Speaker 28: up ultimately being queen is Elizabeth A Lily Verus, And
- 1:37:56Speaker 28: that's how.
- 1:37:57Speaker 10: The novel starts.
- 1:37:58Speaker 12: I'm not giving it all away.
- 1:37:59Speaker 28: The novel starts with Lillibet's on the throne and her
- 1:38:03Speaker 28: mother might be jealous, her mother might not like this.
- 1:38:06Speaker 28: What will Harry do? Like, That's what I'm playing with.
- 1:38:09Speaker 28: So it's a fantasy book. It's not real, but it's
- 1:38:12Speaker 28: a fantasy book about the future.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: That's called Queen Elizabeth II. You can pre order it now. Hey,
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: you're the big You're the best royal expert. What the
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: hell do these people do all day? Like preach William.
- 1:38:24Speaker 28: They have a lovely life. They don't do anything they
- 1:38:26Speaker 28: watched as with the stars. They have a great life.
- 1:38:30Speaker 18: They have some.
- 1:38:31Speaker 28: Official functions that they do, but honestly, they don't do
- 1:38:35Speaker 28: the hours and hours of work that most people have
- 1:38:38Speaker 28: to do to pay their rent. And so it's a
- 1:38:40Speaker 28: lovely life, which is why when they fight someone, they're silly.
- 1:38:45Speaker 28: It's so catty because we give everything to have to
- 1:38:48Speaker 28: have a life like this, and they didn't get it
- 1:38:50Speaker 28: because of any skills they were born into this job,
- 1:38:54Speaker 28: and so they should all shut up and do a
- 1:38:56Speaker 28: little bit more work and be grateful. But that isn't
- 1:38:59Speaker 28: the way this family works, which is why it's so
- 1:39:02Speaker 28: delicious for people like you and me and everybody else
- 1:39:05Speaker 28: to write about them and talk about them.
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: What's the pretty Charles kind of the exception though he
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: really did go out and work on projects and charity.
- 1:39:12Speaker 28: He does, he does. He definitely is involved in the community.
- 1:39:16Speaker 10: He has projects that he cares.
- 1:39:18Speaker 28: But the one that actually works the hardest, the one
- 1:39:20Speaker 28: that does the most official engagement teacher, it's not William,
- 1:39:24Speaker 28: it's not taking, it's not Charles, it's and and the
- 1:39:26Speaker 28: hardest working royal. If you look at her schedule, every
- 1:39:30Speaker 28: every day or so every few days, she's going to
- 1:39:33Speaker 28: a charity or to a hospital, to a county fair.
- 1:39:37Speaker 28: And the workforce in that family, the younger ones, which
- 1:39:40Speaker 28: I think is probably a testament to the whole society,
- 1:39:44Speaker 28: not quite the workhorses that their parents are.
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so Harry and Meghan, the schedule would be like
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: lunch and that's it.
- 1:39:54Speaker 28: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they do a meeting, maybe a fit in,
- 1:39:57Speaker 28: maybe a lunch, maybe might make a carry. If am
- 1:40:00Speaker 28: I do a TikTok video. It's like the life of
- 1:40:03Speaker 28: an influencer. It's a precious life they have and they
- 1:40:08Speaker 28: should be more grateful for it. But now we do
- 1:40:11Speaker 28: have the latest chapter of the soap opera Arion. They
- 1:40:14Speaker 28: there returning to Britain. I can't quite figure out why
- 1:40:16Speaker 28: I've been hidding the phones. There was some talk that
- 1:40:19Speaker 28: she was going over there the film, the TV show,
- 1:40:21Speaker 28: and Netflix show. I spoke to the producers. I spoke
- 1:40:24Speaker 28: to people on the show and they told me that
- 1:40:26Speaker 28: tarbitrary because the show hasn't been green licked yet there
- 1:40:30Speaker 28: even though show, so her being tasked on the third
- 1:40:33Speaker 28: season of The Gentleman doesn't make it again, because there
- 1:40:36Speaker 28: isn't a third season yet, So if they're not going
- 1:40:39Speaker 28: to work there. Another skin that they're pushing quite hard
- 1:40:43Speaker 28: is that they're going to the King this ship and
- 1:40:45Speaker 28: they want to spend time with the family. Now a
- 1:40:47Speaker 28: problem with that argument. They didn't tell the king until
- 1:40:50Speaker 28: a couple of days ago, and so if they really
- 1:40:53Speaker 28: were going to the King, they might have mentioned it
- 1:40:55Speaker 28: to him when they have been with him. So my
- 1:40:58Speaker 28: exauce is a fellamos. It's financial, it's about money. The
- 1:41:02Speaker 28: dream that these two wanted and believed they deserved didn't happen.
- 1:41:06Speaker 28: But Netflix show was a disaster, her podcast was a disaster.
- 1:41:10Speaker 28: Her jam collection is a very sticky pun intended. And
- 1:41:15Speaker 28: so they're going back to Britain so hopefully make some money.
- 1:41:18Speaker 7: Good luck.
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: Hey, So if beth Andy Frankel can make money with
- 1:41:23Speaker 2: her store, with her products, how come these two idiots,
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: Why can't they come up with.
- 1:41:28Speaker 28: Anything because they've never at a hustle.
- 1:41:33Speaker 14: If we think it's.
- 1:41:34Speaker 28: Been done for them, particularly him, the victor's claims are
- 1:41:38Speaker 28: a great success because he launched them when he was
- 1:41:41Speaker 28: still a member of the palace, and me you're a
- 1:41:43Speaker 28: member of the palace. There's hundreds of very capable people
- 1:41:46Speaker 28: who are unstaffed to do all the work. When you
- 1:41:49Speaker 28: lose that job, all those purchaser look at Hoser Holder
- 1:41:53Speaker 28: was fantastic on the Today. So she left her Today
- 1:41:56Speaker 28: and now her Apper lifestyle app is falling apart. She
- 1:42:00Speaker 28: doesn't have all those producers around her doing the work.
- 1:42:03Speaker 28: It's really important to surround yourself with good people, and
- 1:42:07Speaker 28: Harry and Meghan have done the opposite of that.
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: Hey, give us the latest on Hayden Penetier what do
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: we know about.
- 1:42:15Speaker 28: Yeah, we know there's going to be some a rest soon.
- 1:42:17Speaker 28: The roofs are really closing in on this rapport for
- 1:42:19Speaker 28: in these bad news. He was speaking in jail domestic
- 1:42:23Speaker 28: abuse allegations, talking allegations. Now Hayden's mom is telling the
- 1:42:29Speaker 28: police to look at him. There's a new report today
- 1:42:32Speaker 28: that he recently was spotted boarding some of her jewelry,
- 1:42:35Speaker 28: her guitar. Now we have a neighbor of theirs in
- 1:42:38Speaker 28: Hollywood saying in La saying that she was taken out
- 1:42:42Speaker 28: of the home twice on the stretcher, and so I
- 1:42:45Speaker 28: think people are really certain. It's a big question too,
- 1:42:48Speaker 28: is now this knocking? Why was there knarking there? I
- 1:42:51Speaker 28: don't know anybody that has knocking that isn't a real
- 1:42:53Speaker 28: serious drug dealer throughug addicts or a member of services
- 1:42:59Speaker 28: the Amberley guys and ladies, and so lots of questions.
- 1:43:03Speaker 28: The good news about this is I'm told all the
- 1:43:05Speaker 28: videos footage around the complex where they were staying has
- 1:43:09Speaker 28: all been seized by the police. So now we'll know
- 1:43:12Speaker 28: who went in, who went out, and what happened in
- 1:43:15Speaker 28: that apartment. There's only two three people there, so they've
- 1:43:18Speaker 28: got a lot of questions that they need to answer.
- 1:43:21Speaker 2: That's good to hear. Hey, Melissa Gilbert, boy, she's a
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: busy lecturing.
- 1:43:24Speaker 28: Hollywood husband as did the Cheers of sexually harassing young boys.
- 1:43:31Speaker 28: That's the accusations. They have not been included yet, but
- 1:43:34Speaker 28: that's why we have a thought system. So while her
- 1:43:36Speaker 28: husband is under this real ugly cloud of suspicion and
- 1:43:40Speaker 28: some serious allegations, melitais have decided that she thinksist a
- 1:43:44Speaker 28: department moment to lecture Hollywood about short child stars and
- 1:43:49Speaker 28: how they've been protection. Melissa, if you're listening, it's a
- 1:43:52Speaker 28: great message. You're the wrong messenger.
- 1:43:54Speaker 17: Shut up.
- 1:43:55Speaker 28: You can only do lecturing anybody about children and abuse while.
- 1:44:00Speaker 27: Your husband has been accusing these really ugly things.
- 1:44:02Speaker 28: They makes me laugh, doesn't it, Because these folly good people,
- 1:44:05Speaker 28: they've got to help themselves. Like any chance they have
- 1:44:08Speaker 28: for John Tis and Promost, of course, to attach their
- 1:44:12Speaker 28: name to something, they do it where often they'd be
- 1:44:15Speaker 28: better after shutting gun.
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: Well, hey we're talking Rob Shooter. Hey, our friend Wendy Williams,
- 1:44:21Speaker 2: she's a listener in this show. She might even be listening,
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: but we love Wendy Williams. What's going on with her?
- 1:44:27Speaker 28: Poor lady a friend of mine too.
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: I've known her for.
- 1:44:29Speaker 28: Yours as a regular guest from her talk show, her
- 1:44:32Speaker 28: TV shirt she was spotted. We've not seen Wendy in
- 1:44:35Speaker 28: a few months, but we finally spotted her over the weekend.
- 1:44:38Speaker 28: She's still in her facility on the West Side. A
- 1:44:41Speaker 28: camera crew asked her what she wanted, and she said
- 1:44:43Speaker 28: she wants to be free. She's sick of this conservatory ship.
- 1:44:47Speaker 27: She doesn't think she should be under it.
- 1:44:49Speaker 28: For a couple of years now, she's had no control
- 1:44:53Speaker 28: over her money and so Wendy wants out.
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: I hit the phones.
- 1:44:57Speaker 28: I spoke to some lawyers and they said it is
- 1:44:59Speaker 28: a on living process. We thought this is Britney Sears
- 1:45:02Speaker 28: didn't we wouldn't you have a conservatorship. It's really hard
- 1:45:06Speaker 28: to get out of it. Brittany was under hers for
- 1:45:08Speaker 28: thirteen years and there's some arguments to be made that,
- 1:45:12Speaker 28: you know, Britney might have been better off under the
- 1:45:14Speaker 28: conservatory ship. So we actually careful here. We want people
- 1:45:18Speaker 28: to be in charge of their own money and their
- 1:45:20Speaker 28: own lives, but if they're going to make bad decisions
- 1:45:22Speaker 28: or not bad decisions. You're allowed, you're allowed to spend
- 1:45:24Speaker 28: your own money, you're allowed to mess up your life.
- 1:45:27Speaker 28: But if there's mental health issues involved, then I think
- 1:45:30Speaker 28: we should be careful on this one. So best to
- 1:45:32Speaker 28: look to Wendy.
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: She looked good.
- 1:45:33Speaker 28: She's got her old spirit back and so she's listening
- 1:45:36Speaker 28: her lower lower allied.
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: Hey, sometimes she calls in. I've heard of Colin and
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: do it.
- 1:45:40Speaker 27: I love it.
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: She sounds fine when she calls in, she says perfect.
- 1:45:44Speaker 10: Yeah, you know, she's wacky.
- 1:45:47Speaker 28: Wendy's always been whacky though, like she's Whackedy twenty years ago.
- 1:45:50Speaker 28: And so you know, it's a really tricky process that
- 1:45:54Speaker 28: I think we should all have a big conversation about.
- 1:45:57Speaker 28: Would lose your life, you lose your bank account, you
- 1:46:02Speaker 28: lose your and with you in a conservatory ship to
- 1:46:08Speaker 28: get out of it. It's really really fat when he
- 1:46:12Speaker 28: has a good lawyer, she has good people around her,
- 1:46:14Speaker 28: but she's still into that conservator ship.
- 1:46:16Speaker 18: Sad.
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, Rob Shooter, great stuff. Hey, everybody get his
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: new book. It's called Thank You, Queen Elizabeth the Third.
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: It's a new novel getting getting good reviews. You can
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: pre order it right now. Queen Elizabeth the third and
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: then where should people go to read you? Every good
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: substex every day?
- 1:46:34Speaker 28: I have a podcast for iHeart Radio, so so I
- 1:46:36Speaker 28: think about the company. iHeart Dannie a daily show. So
- 1:46:39Speaker 28: whenever you listen to your podcast not even Nice with
- 1:46:42Speaker 28: Rob and check out Queen Elizabeth, you'll be shocked. It's
- 1:46:46Speaker 28: really fun fun books to right.
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so pre order the book Queen Elizabeth. IID listen
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: to Rob Shooter on iHeart get his podcast Naughty but Nice.
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: Good's great stuff, Rob Shooter, thanks for being with us.
- 1:46:58Speaker 28: Oh it's good, my friend. Check out.
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: Take care, Hey, don't forget. The show is now three hours,
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: three hours, three hours. We start at nine o'clock every day,
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: it's nine to noon every day. And then coming up
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: at noon you got Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. That's
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: a really good show. Every day three o'clock you got
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity.
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: At three, you got Jesse Kelly. At six o'clock, the
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: Great Jimmy Fayla. It's a very funny show every night
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: nine to midnight. And as I said, I start now
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: nine o'clock, it's nine to noon, and that means it's
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: Curtis Sliwa and Larry Menty six to nine every morning
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: on seven ten WR.
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Mark simone three The
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: Mark Zimon Show now nine till noon, weekdays.
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: Seven to TENO. Hey, it's Monday, so we got this
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: week and then next week is it? Next week? The
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: next week it's Labor Day weekend. So the final two
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: weeks of summer, I mean officially it goes into September,
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: but this is really the final two weeks of summer.
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: You got ten weeks until the midterms. Ten weeks until
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: the midterms. Now, if you're watching MS NOW or MSNBC
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: or whatever the hell they call it, all morning, they're
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: doing this. So these poles, they got some fake polls
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: that show Trump's approval rating underwater in forty seven states,
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: and they're going state by state, these twenty points underwater
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: in this state, in this state. And first of all,
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: it's a fake pole. It's one of those rig poles
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: where they don't have the correct sample. They have Republicans
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: at twenty three percent of the sample instead of thirty
- 1:48:42Speaker 2: six where they're supposed to be. They're using the wrong voters,
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: they're not using likely voters, So it's a fake pole.
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: And the other thing is they keep going over these
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: Trump numbers. They never ever, ever tell you that in
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: all these polls, the Democrats are way below Trump. Trump
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: is here and the Democrats are way down there. In fact,
- 1:49:04Speaker 2: Democrats now setting records for the lowest poll numbers ever
- 1:49:08Speaker 2: in the world going into the midterms. So they forget
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: to mention that part. Hey, we mentioned mom, Donnie. I
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: forgot to mention that he's back from vacation. That's where
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: you're seeing them all over the news today. You know,
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: he was on vacation for a whole week. Nobody really
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: noticed because nobody knows what the hell he does when
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: he's here. But he was on vacation from what nobody knows.
- 1:49:29Speaker 2: He won't say where he was exactly. He was an
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: upstate New York, that's all he'll say. Of course, for
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: a guy like that, upstate could be Yonkers. I mean,
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: who knows with him, But he's back. He mentioned those
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: grocery stores. He's got another problem. There's a lot of
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: grocery stores, Bodega's, small grocery stores all around where he's
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: building these. Now they've gotten together to sue him. He's
- 1:49:53Speaker 2: facing a huge lawsuit from the Bodega Association, so that'll
- 1:49:58Speaker 2: hold it up. And as they keep telling you you'll
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: never live to see one of his grocery stores, it
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: will never ever ever happen. Hey, we're out of time.
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: It's gonna be a nice day to day. We've got
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: great weather for three days. There could be some rain
- 1:50:10Speaker 2: on Thursday. We got three sunny summer days, so enjoy them.
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: Don't forget. I'm here nine to noon every day. It's
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: three hours now. We start at nine am. Make sure
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: you follow me on Instagram, Mark Simone NYC at Instagram,
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: and stay tuned for Buck and Clay coming up next.
- 1:50:28Speaker 2: I'll see you tomorrow at nine here on seven to
- 1:50:31Speaker 2: ten wo
