**SILVER and Gold's BIG NEWS!** 🦍🦍 Don't YOU Miss It - (China, LBMA, COMEX, Samsung and More) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
Let's get started and talk about a number of major stories
• 0:04
impacting what has been a tremendous year in the gold and
• 0:09
silver markets. Let's start with JP Morgan.
• 0:12
I want to bring you out, and this is actually an ex JP Morgan
• 0:17
executive. This comes from the silver
• 0:19
trade. Silver finally on the radar
• 0:23
screen. Well, what are they talking
• 0:24
about? It'd be interesting to hear that
• 0:28
silver's being looked at by central banks.
• 0:31
This is what it says. JP Morgan bullion banker Robert
• 0:36
Gottlieb is who said that silver finally on the radar screen.
• 0:39
None of none of the fundamentals have changed.
• 0:43
Central banks will continue to diversify from the US dollar by
• 0:49
buying gold, quote, the ultimate safe haven asset.
• 0:53
But right, this is big. Silver is finally on the radar
• 0:57
screen as a safe haven asset. Guys, we talked about this
• 1:01
yesterday. Couple reasons why this can be
• 1:03
huge. What silver's now the 4th
• 1:06
largest asset in the world. And if central banks on top of
• 1:12
everything else going on with silver, OK, solid-state
• 1:16
batteries from Samsung, which we're going to talk about later.
• 1:19
All the other just crazy things going on with silver.
• 1:23
Just imagine, just imagine if central banks start to really
• 1:28
pay attention to silver, if they ever done that in the past.
• 1:31
Is history any guide for us? Yes, I think they have because
• 1:36
silver was money long before gold was.
• 1:39
We had silver in our coinage here in the United States up
• 1:43
until basically 1969, right when we still had 40% silver Kennedy
• 1:48
half dollars. So the fact that we can get
• 1:51
central banks around the world starting to look at silver could
• 1:55
be huge, but just think about how that would be on top of
• 2:00
everything else that we have going on for silver.
• 2:03
Let's look at this speculation of silver shortage.
• 2:06
If you notice that it's starting to show up again, what about
• 2:09
Costco? You got to dig in deep.
• 2:11
So let's dig in a little bit and see what people are saying about
• 2:15
the situation with silver at Costco and we'll start here.
• 2:23
OK, Mr. Spinach Bra says my Costco was out of silver today.
• 2:29
Stack while you still can. Okay?
• 2:32
And let's look at a few of the other comments here.
• 2:34
Mr. Silver Ape King says 100% my Costco has been out for weeks.
• 2:40
Mother of Mother Silver Abe said my Costco is out of silver too.
• 2:45
They usually are out completely these days, but they have
• 2:48
display shelves full of gold. Funny.
• 2:51
OK, here's Mr. Foam Sword Crusader who adds I was in there
• 2:56
tonight in the United Kingdom and asked if they would have any
• 3:00
silver. The woman replied they have two
• 3:02
bars and yesterday and someone came in and bought them all.
• 3:07
Other than that, I haven't seen it for weeks now.
• 3:10
Let's go out here to Jonathan. Hold on here.
• 3:15
Here we go. Mr. Jonathan said this, and this
• 3:18
was just a few minutes before we came on.
• 3:21
I tried to purchase a roll of one out silver coins this
• 3:25
weekend at Costco. They are tapped out nationwide.
• 3:29
  This is in Canada. OK.
• 3:31
Now Speaking of Canada and silver, a few days ago there was
• 3:36
a post that came out about TD Precious Metals.
• 3:39
Let's look at that and then we've got something very
• 3:41
interesting that we're going to do live here when it comes to TD
• 3:45
Precious Metals and silver. I don't know if it's a fluke,
• 3:49
but here we go. This came again from Silver Ape
• 3:55
King who shared with us just a couple days ago.
• 3:59
TD Precious metals up to one month to deliver physical silver
• 4:04
paper trades instantly. Physical takes weeks.
• 4:08
What does that say about inventory?
• 4:10
And then here's the post that he put up from TD.
• 4:12
Please note, due to high demand, silvery silver delivery
• 4:16
timeliness have been impacted and are now 10 to 20 business
• 4:21
days home delivery. Tracking numbers are valid and
• 4:24
we'll update once Canada Post processes the shipment.
• 4:27
OK, So again, not like, Oh my God, there's no silver, there's
• 4:30
no silver. But I did find this interesting.
• 4:33
We're going to go out to Google here because I wanted to go see
• 4:36
for myself to corroborate this. I went out to Google, I put in
• 4:40
TD Precious Metals and then and there they are, TD Bank, TD
• 4:44
Precious Metals. Buy gold, silver and platinum
• 4:46
and bullion and let's see what happens.
• 4:48
And let's see if this happens now or I'm going to look a
• 4:51
little foolish, but I clicked on this buy silver bullion in
• 4:55
Canada and uh oh, something went wrong, but we're on it.
• 5:04
So that's exactly what happened about 15 minutes ago.
• 5:08
Again, when you click on the Buy silver bullion in Canada on
• 5:13
Google for TD Bank, right? They're like, uh oh, we have a
• 5:17
problem now. What do you think the problem?
• 5:19
Something went wrong. What do you think the problem
• 5:22
might be? I might speculate that may, I
• 5:25
don't know, I'm not saying anything, maybe just a technical
• 5:28
glitch, but maybe there's maybe they're trying to dissuade
• 5:33
  people from buying physical silver.
• 5:35
We'll see. We'll keep an eye on on how that
• 5:38
all plays out. Let's go next to gold 49.
• 5:41
OK, Whoa, whoa, whoa, big news, 4900 gold right now.
• 5:47
We're going to talk about that. But since we're talking about
• 5:49
gold, I want to say thank you to channel sponsor First Mining
• 5:53
Gold. As you know, it's a stock I own
• 5:56
long before they sponsored my channel.
• 5:58
I appreciate their sponsorship. It helps us be able to get
• 6:01
together. There are gold development stage
• 6:03
company with two huge multi million ounce projects in
• 6:07
Canada, Spring Pull in Ontario, Duparque in Quebec.
• 6:11
You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
• 6:14
Now let's talk about a very reliable source who's reporting
• 6:18
to us something very interesting about gold in China.
• 6:24
And this one comes from the Oriental ghost.
• 6:27
We know him, we love him. Everybody in the precious metals
• 6:29
world, he's always given us the update on the price of gold and
• 6:33
silver from China. But listen to this, guys.
• 6:36
And there's two big things on this.
• 6:39
He says in the shoe Bay market today.
• 6:42
Hold on. Yes, in the shoe Bay, Shubai
• 6:47
Shubay. I don't know how to pronounce
• 6:48
that market today. The combined gold price was
• 6:52
whatever per gram. That's the equivalent to 4000.
• 6:58
I should have said four, that's all.
• 6:59
If we round up, that's 5000. But anyway, $4970 per oz, that's
• 7:06
the price in the shoe Bay market, as I understand it, is
• 7:09
huge in China. Now that may include taxes.
• 7:13
I, you know, there's a lot of speculation on this, but
• 7:15
however, this guy is reliable. He's telling us from China right
• 7:20
now to buy an ounce of gold at the shoe buy market.
• 7:25
You're going to pay $4970. But what's even more interesting
• 7:30
is he reports that jd.com, which as I understand it is the
• 7:35
Chinese equivalent of Amazon.com, has restricted the
• 7:40
purchase of gold bars in various stores.
• 7:44
And the inventory is close to 0. OK, That's the latest gold right
• 7:53
now in China, $5000 per oz. OK.
• 7:58
Their biggest online retailer, I don't know if they're like,
• 8:01
they're kind of like a combination of eBay and Amazon
• 8:03
in the United States, right? Restricting gold sales and a lot
• 8:07
of the stores having nothing in stock.
• 8:09
And this comes from a reliable Chinese source.
• 8:13
OK, The Oriental Ghost is a good guy and reliable.
• 8:16
Now let's go back to silver for a second.
• 8:19
OK? You know, right, Most people
• 8:22
don't own silver. I mean, gold is the, is the, is
• 8:25
the grand poobah of precious metals, silver in the United
• 8:30
States. Do you feel, I mean, look, we're
• 8:32
going to look at some data here that I think is very encouraging
• 8:35
because I've heard, I've lived it, you've lived it, you've
• 8:39
experienced it. Most people, number one, don't
• 8:42
own any silver #2 people buy silver when it starts to go up,
• 8:49
when there's more attention being put on silver.
• 8:52
Last night we talked about CNBC right with with a big silver
• 8:57
headline. It is starting, but wait until
• 9:00
you see this because the X platform is where it's at and
• 9:05
we're getting data from the X platform used to be called
• 9:08
Twitter. A lot of us older folk like me
• 9:11
still call it. Twitter is providing us with
• 9:14
some very interesting data. This is crazy.
• 9:17
This, this. I'm more excited about this than
• 9:20
almost anything with silver. This came from Sunil Reddy.
• 9:24
The last seven days on X Bitcoin got 1.2 million posts.
• 9:29
Now crypto is huge on the X platform, right?
• 9:32
And I like crypto, I like silver, I like gold, I love them
• 9:36
all. Bitcoin 1.2 million post silver
• 9:40
510,000 post OK, that is huge guys.
• 9:45
It's almost getting to the point where there's half as much
• 9:49
mentions of silver on the X platform as Bitcoin.
• 9:53
I can tell you that is skyrocketing, OK, and then
• 9:57
there's a big reason why again, we want to pay attention to this
• 9:59
because price is moving first attention comes later, OK?
• 10:04
The large part of the crowd still has hasn't noticed what's
• 10:07
going on in silver. The gap between price action and
• 10:11
attention is usually where the real move builds.
• 10:16
OK. And that's what's so exciting
• 10:18
about this is that silver is already done incredibly well.
• 10:22
And we looked at it again last night, right?
• 10:24
Like during other periods where silver manias occurred and we
• 10:28
had squeezes and whatnot, silver went up 10X.
• 10:30
We're only up 2X in the attention from the mainstream
• 10:35
people. I'll give a sheep warning.
• 10:37
OK, I'll stop doing it every time.
• 10:39
But some of you people really like the sheep, right?
• 10:41
When the attention from the herd, the sheeple starts to come
• 10:49
in, it could be explosive from a retail perspective.
• 10:53
OK, well, we forgot we already talked about central banks and
• 10:57
later we're going to talk about this Samsung battery stuff
• 11:00
that's happening. It truly truly is incredible.
• 11:03
That is one of them. I'm telling you right X is is
• 11:07
the platform. The big take away here is the
• 11:09
platform where a lot of investors with a lot of money
• 11:12
pay attention. The fact that silver and
• 11:15
mentions of silver are going crazy on X and I'm I've seen it
• 11:18
myself is a very, very good sign because when the herd starts to
• 11:23
follow, OK, it could be a flood of new money coming into silver.
• 11:29
But it's not only that. I got more good news for you
• 11:31
this. I didn't even tease you with
• 11:33
this one. OK, but there's another thing
• 11:37
going on with silver right now that can provide decades,
• 11:42
decades of unbelievable demand for for silver in the world of
• 11:48
silver. We're going to get to that next.
• 11:50
First I want to say, well, my hands are mixed up.
• 11:52
Thank you. Speaking of silver to 1st Mint,
• 11:54
see it right there, right above my shoulder.
• 11:56
I've got first Mint on my shoulder and I'm proud to do
• 12:00
that because they are a silver mint in the United States of
• 12:04
America, in Las Vegas, NV, providing everyone with some
• 12:08
  world class silver bullion products.
• 12:11
Here's one, just one example. OK, that's look at that.
• 12:16
That's the silver. I mean, their products are
• 12:19
incredible and all unique to them.
• 12:21
  That's their silver dragon round.
• 12:23
They've got rounds, they have bars, they have other products,
• 12:27
everything unique to First Men. And another thing that's unique
• 12:30
about First Men is they are owned by a silver mining
• 12:34
company, First Majestic Silver. First Majestic mines, the silver
• 12:38
in Mexico ships at the Las Vegas where it's transformed into
• 12:42
world class silver Napoleon products that are then shipped
• 12:45
to you. Do you see the chain of events
• 12:48
from the mine to the mint directly to you?
• 12:52
It's the freshest silver on the market and it's never touched
• 12:56
right by the Comex or the LBMA. You can check them out here.
• 13:00
First, mint.com show you their website.
• 13:04
There we go. OK, first mint.com free shipping
• 13:07
on orders over $299 and on top of that, there is a discount
• 13:13
code for you because you're part of Ron's Basement VIPRB, very
• 13:20
  important person, Ron's Basement VIPRB.
• 13:23
Now let's talk about this. This is happening, OK?
• 13:29
And I think that the Silver Academy was the 1st place that I
• 13:32
saw this mention. Silver is becoming the energy,
• 13:38
the energy on top of all the other uses, monitoring of the
• 13:42
energy commodity of the future, energy metal, however you want
• 13:46
to call it. I think it's going to replace
• 13:48
oil in the next coming years. And look at this.
• 13:52
And then we're going to come back to that point.
• 13:54
But look at this, which is actually from Reddit.
• 13:58
We love Reddit, OK? Mr. Wall Street.
• 14:01
Silver said this. I think this is a First United
• 14:05
States oil. The price of oil, $56 per
• 14:10
barrel. The price of silver, $67 per oz.
• 14:16
This is historic that the price of silver per oz is now more
• 14:22
expensive than a barrel of oil. But the reason why that's so, so
• 14:27
critical is to take a step back and think about this.
• 14:31
OK, silver is the energy commodity of the future.
• 14:36
Think about the electric cars. The solid-state cars now run on
• 14:43
oil, right? That's the way it's been for
• 14:45
decades and decades. Cars in the future are going to
• 14:50
run on batteries, and those batteries are going to include a
• 14:54
huge amount of silver. We're going to look at the
• 14:57
details. I don't want to spoil it here in
• 14:59
a minute. But on top of that, massive
• 15:01
amounts of silver are needed, right, For nuclear power plants,
• 15:06
which are being built all around the world, massive amounts of
• 15:10
silver are needed for solar. Solar and nuclear are the energy
• 15:15
sources of the future. Think about it, solar and
• 15:19
nuclear both need massive amounts of silver.
• 15:23
So silver is the energy commodity of the future just in
• 15:27
those two areas, nuclear and solar.
• 15:30
But when you talk about electric cars and look at the data there
• 15:33
it it's absolutely astounding. Then we are going to talk about
• 15:36
the manipulation in the paper market.
• 15:39
Don't you worry, we're going to get to that.
• 15:41
But let's go check out this of what I think is a great synopsis
• 15:45
of what is going on with Samsung's new silver solid-state
• 15:51
batteries. This is a 12 part tweet.
• 15:54
We're going to look at the first three parts today because if I
• 15:58
gave us if we if we looked at any more, we might we might need
• 16:02
to call ambulances from our from how excited we get.
• 16:06
OK, I'll read quickly. Samsung's all hold on here, make
• 16:11
sure we got you on the right screen, which we do.
• 16:13
Samsung's all solid-state EV battery uses a silver carbon
• 16:18
  composite anode. It's not hype.
• 16:22
This tech is advancing toward mass production in 2027, right?
• 16:28
And like Eric Spratt said yesterday, if they're going to
• 16:30
start producing this Matt on a mass scale in 2027, when do you
• 16:34
  think there's a reason why that's important?
• 16:36
When do you think they're going to need to buy the silver?
• 16:40
Maybe 2026, right? Which is what, about 9 days from
• 16:46
now? Oh, it's incredible and could
• 16:51
transform silver from a precious metal into a critical industrial
• 16:55
powerhouse. As of December 18th, 2025,
• 16:59
silver's trading around $66 per oz, hitting record highs amid
• 17:05
structural deficits. But this battery could create a
• 17:08
true price for. OK, just two more things we're
• 17:11
going to look at in purple and then we have something in red.
• 17:14
Why is this tech favored ultra high energy density?
• 17:18
OK, double of of the current batteries.
• 17:21
OK, number one, it takes 9 minutes to charge these new
• 17:25
  batteries. There's a 600 to 900 mile range
• 17:29
per charge, more than double of what current auto electric
• 17:33
batteries do, 1000 plus cycles and projected 20 year lifespan.
• 17:39
For these batteries that are going to have a massive amount
• 17:41
of silver. The thin silver carbon labor
• 17:45
enables uniform lithium plating. Silver's conductivity is the
• 17:50
key. OK, Also safety wise, I forgot
• 17:53
to say that one prevents fires. That's a big issue with the
• 17:56
current technology. Now here's where it gets
• 17:59
  interesting. Hold on here.
• 18:02
We're going to talk about the demand.
• 18:03
I'm going to highlight. I was going to try to highlight
• 18:05
this for you. Hold on, hold on, Let me make
• 18:10
sure we're on the right. Might be having some tech
• 18:12
issues. Hopefully you can still see me
• 18:15
and hear me OK, now we can. All right, well, we're not going
• 18:18
to highlight it. We'll just read it.
• 18:20
Silver demand impact estimates 1 kilogram of silver for each
• 18:24
battery pack, OK, which is about 30 oz.
• 18:27
That may get reduced. It says down to 300 to 500
• 18:32
grams. So currently they're saying a
• 18:34
kilogram could get reduced, maybe the half, but that's still
• 18:39
massive. OK, EV markets 17,000,000 plus
• 18:44
sold in 2025, heading to 30 million a year by the year 2030.
• 18:50
OK, 30 million EVs. They're projecting electric
• 18:54
vehicles by 20-30. Now this is the key.
• 18:57
If just 20% adopt Silver Bay solid-state batteries, that's
• 19:03
16,000 tons of new annual demand, and the current global
• 19:09
mine supply is 20. That's more than half of silver
• 19:15
mining supplies would be consumed, more than half for EVs
• 19:20
alone. Now I heard Eric Spratt, who we
• 19:23
all call the king of of silver talking just recently and he he
• 19:29
projected that if just 20% use this new technology that it
• 19:35
would consume all the world's mining production no matter how
• 19:39
you slice or dice it. Guys, it is crazy what is
• 19:42
happening right now on top of everything else, the solid-state
• 19:45
battery story and the potential potential there, right?
• 19:49
You know how those things go, But I mean, even where we sit
• 19:54
right now, do you feel it right? It feels pretty darn good to be
• 19:57
invested in gold, but obviously silver as well.
• 20:01
That potential there is just absolutely, absolutely stunning.
• 20:06
Let's talk about the paper markets, the paper trading.
• 20:09
We've got some some keen insights we're going to look at,
• 20:12
but also something a little bit funny that's going on with the
• 20:16
Comex and the LBMA. The first thing we're going to
• 20:19
do is go out here and look at the United States Debt Clock,
• 20:24
our old friend, the US Debt Clock, and when we go here,
• 20:28
bring you up to the top. OK, U.S. debt Clock, it's
• 20:31
usdebtclock.org if you want to check it out for yourself.
• 20:34
But let's just review right here that the silver market currently
• 20:40
is, it won't let me circle this paper to silver ratio 357 to 1.
• 20:48
So I dug in and looked up. I'm like, how do they calculate
• 20:51
  this? And basically what they're
• 20:52
saying is what that calculates is all the paper silver.
• 20:56
Remember that 357 to one that equals all.
• 21:01
Oh, hold on, we're moving all over the place now.

You should be able to see me. That equals all the paper silver
• 21:10
in the world that's traded in one year.
• 21:13
OK, all you take all the make believe, all the, as we like to
• 21:18
refer to it, Fantasy Island silver right at the Comex, the
• 21:22
LBMA derivatives, everything. And you divide all that paper
• 21:26
silver by the amount of actual silver that's mined on a
• 21:30
worldwide basis. And there's 357 paper oz traded
• 21:35
for each one ounce of real silver.
• 21:39
It's absolutely astounding. And I heard that like I think it
• 21:44
was. I want to give credit, Craig
• 21:45
Hempkeeper, I bring this up in certain terms.
• 21:48
I'm not quoting them here, but it's like, who backs up all that
• 21:52
silver, right? There's one real Oz being made,
• 21:55
but 357 being traded. And, you know, I'll tell you how
• 22:00
they back it up, OK? They back it up with all the
• 22:03
silver that's buried deep in the earth that's yet to be mined.
• 22:08
It's already been accounted for by the COMEX in the LBMA.
• 22:12
The problem is it takes decades and decades and decades to pull
• 22:16
that silver up out of the ground.
• 22:18
And for one last piece of further proof that the the
• 22:22
charade continues, let's go out to the Dude and get the latest
• 22:26
data on paper trading. OK, this was hold on here, hold
• 22:32
on one second. There we go.
• 22:34
Our friend, the Dude, he says the silver market traded
• 22:37
529,000,000 paper oz yesterday. I know, I'm sorry, I apologize.
• 22:42
It's a little short. They didn't quite trade the
• 22:44
entire year's production in one day, but they did trade about 65
• 22:49
or 66% in one day. That was from Friday, December
• 22:53
  19th. Guys, it's, it's a, it's a
• 22:55
facade, it's make believe and it's coming apart right now.
• 23:00
Don't forget right now everybody's seeing this, the
• 23:05
  physical market and physical demand.
• 23:08
And when we think about what's happening, right, what the
• 23:11
future demand profile looks for silver, right?
• 23:15
The physical side is overtaking the paper market.
• 23:19
It really is like the beach ball blasting up out of the ground.
• 23:23
