- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hi everybody, It's Trista from the almost famous OG podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 1: And I am so.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Excited because this was not on my book today to
- 0:15Speaker 2: do a podcast. But all of a sudden, we were
- 0:17Speaker 2: talking about how we needed to do a Dancing with
- 0:19Speaker 2: the Stars recap, and we were talking about all the
- 0:21Speaker 2: people who were there for the twentieth anniversary, and I
- 0:25Speaker 2: was like, let me reach.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Out to Kitlin. So I texted Kitlin and.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I said, I know this is totally short notice and
- 0:32Speaker 2: it probably won't work, but do you have any time
- 0:35Speaker 2: today to do a quick twenty thirty minute recap about
- 0:39Speaker 2: the show.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And it worked out.
- 0:41Speaker 2: So I'm so excited to recap the Dancing with the
- 0:44Speaker 2: Stars twentieth anniversary with my good friend Caitlin Bristow. Okay,
- 0:48Speaker 2: so everyone knows at this point that you got to
- 0:51Speaker 2: go back into the ballroom, and I knew how excited
- 0:55Speaker 2: you were from just hearing from you and just knowing
- 0:59Speaker 2: you and how much you love the show. So how
- 1:01Speaker 2: was it being back in the ballroom?
- 1:03Speaker 3: I was talking Actually, I've talked about it every day
- 1:06Speaker 3: all day and since I was there. But I was
- 1:09Speaker 3: telling my girlfriend this morning. I was like, it's one
- 1:12Speaker 3: of those things that you think you'll never have the
- 1:14Speaker 3: opportunity to do again. And I've always thought like, gosh,
- 1:17Speaker 3: if I could ever do that again, I would just
- 1:18Speaker 3: take it all in and I would notice the little
- 1:21Speaker 3: things that I'd enjoy it in such a different way.
- 1:23Speaker 3: And so to be able to do it again for
- 1:25Speaker 3: the second time, I was just so present and so
- 1:29Speaker 3: in the moment, and my cup if was overfloweth I
- 1:33Speaker 3: was just so happy.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I could tell. I mean, you were beaming.
- 1:36Speaker 2: You were so happy, as was I. It was hard
- 1:40Speaker 2: to not be beaming in the ballroom. It is just
- 1:43Speaker 2: so full of energy and happiness and enjoy and emotion,
- 1:47Speaker 2: and I swear my cheeks were hurting from smiling so hard.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it's one of those shows. I feel like, there's,
- 1:53Speaker 3: you know, reality TV. I'm actually the biggest reality TV girl.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Like I don't watch Bravo shows, I don't watch, but
- 2:00Speaker 3: my reality TV is like Dancing with the Stars and
- 2:03Speaker 3: as you know, Big Brother, because there's just something that
- 2:06Speaker 3: makes me so happy when I watch them, and Dancing
- 2:09Speaker 3: with the Stars is just one of those shows that
- 2:11Speaker 3: I feel like it's like bringing a little bit of
- 2:14Speaker 3: hope and joy to the world when you watch it.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Totally agree, totally agree, especially if you're in the ballroom.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It is just it.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Feeds your soul.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I just love it, and I forgot how much I
- 2:29Speaker 2: love it. And obviously it's been a long time since
- 2:31Speaker 2: I've been in the ballroom. I mean obviously first one
- 2:35Speaker 2: ever kicked off the show, which you know, that's a
- 2:38Speaker 2: long time ago. But it's fine, it's fine, I'm part
- 2:40Speaker 2: of it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It's all good.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And then I went back for the two hundredth episode,
- 2:44Speaker 2: which I feel like was probably at least ten years ago.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So I have not been back in the ballroom in
- 2:51Speaker 2: about ten years, and lots of memories were coming back.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I'm sure it's the same for you. Tell me about
- 2:57Speaker 2: any memories that came back for you.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Oh wellirst of all, I was in such a different
- 3:02Speaker 3: time because I was dancing during COVID time, So it
- 3:06Speaker 3: was so awesome to be able to feel the energy
- 3:09Speaker 3: of having a crowd, not to mention, like, not just
- 3:12Speaker 3: any crowd, it was every dancer who's ever been on
- 3:15Speaker 3: the show. Like I made eye contact with Bill Ny,
- 3:17Speaker 3: the science guy, and I was like, it was just
- 3:22Speaker 3: so cool. And obviously so nerve wracking. But I was
- 3:26Speaker 3: like it was bringing up so many memories for me,
- 3:30Speaker 3: good and bad, because I remember my body falling apart.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I remember, uh, I didn't think I was good enough.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I remember like Ardam was very hard because that's how
- 3:41Speaker 3: he's like he was. He was trained growing up by Russians.
- 3:44Speaker 3: He's Russian like, they just have a different delivering. And
- 3:49Speaker 3: looking back now, I go, thank God because somebody needed
- 3:52Speaker 3: to push me that hard, and I'm so glad he did.
- 3:55Speaker 3: But it was like I was almost having like phantom
- 3:59Speaker 3: pains in my rib was watching people dance and remembering
- 4:03Speaker 3: just how hard they work. So I think, like what
- 4:06Speaker 3: kept coming up for me is how cool the show
- 4:08Speaker 3: is because everybody's competing against each other, yet they're rooting
- 4:12Speaker 3: for each other at the same time because everyone knows
- 4:14Speaker 3: how hard each other's working. And I just felt that
- 4:17Speaker 3: like family vibe going back in and I was like,
- 4:20Speaker 3: this is what it felt like when I was here.
- 4:21Speaker 3: We were all of course wanting to win, but we
- 4:24Speaker 3: were all just standing there screaming and cheering for each other,
- 4:27Speaker 3: knowing like we're in a dark time of COVID and
- 4:30Speaker 3: we're all in this together, and we're all working so hard,
- 4:32Speaker 3: and it was so.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Fun, I mean epic having Tom Burger on back and
- 4:37Speaker 2: then Derek Huff obviously has been a judge for a while,
- 4:41Speaker 2: but having Derek as a judge, because was he a
- 4:44Speaker 2: judge during your season?
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I was the first season he was.
- 4:47Speaker 2: A judge amazing. I mean I got the chance to
- 4:50Speaker 2: meet him for the first time. I have been obsessed
- 4:52Speaker 2: with him since he started on the show. Just his
- 4:55Speaker 2: choreography is he is a genius at choreography and dancing obviously,
- 5:01Speaker 2: and singing and.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Like everyone because that whole family, I don't understand they're
- 5:07Speaker 3: like an anomaly because every single person in that family
- 5:11Speaker 3: is so talented and gifted and kind. And their one sister, Berebeth,
- 5:15Speaker 3: is my realtor in Nashville. Like it's so funny. And
- 5:19Speaker 3: that opening number that Derek did the choreography for it
- 5:22Speaker 3: just like it's it's beyond magical, beyond he is so good.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So just being able to meet him.
- 5:29Speaker 2: So I had two producers Ashley Eden's was one of them,
- 5:34Speaker 2: and Joe and got to see them. We actually took
- 5:37Speaker 2: I don't I'm sure I think I left you when
- 5:40Speaker 2: I left Blakesley with you at the after party.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but I met your producers.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Oh good, oh good, They're amazing. So Ashley and Joe
- 5:49Speaker 2: and we took a huge picture with all of the
- 5:53Speaker 2: OG pros and as many of the you know, celebs
- 5:57Speaker 2: as we could get. And I was hanging out back
- 6:00Speaker 2: there and was talking to Ashley. Funny story, Ashley Edens
- 6:03Speaker 2: was my producer with Ryan on The Bachelorette. So she
- 6:07Speaker 2: started with me on Bachelorette yep. And then she came
- 6:11Speaker 2: over to Dancing with the Stars and now her and
- 6:13Speaker 2: Derek and Julianna are liked bestie's and she helps them
- 6:16Speaker 2: with their like all of their shows, and she actually
- 6:20Speaker 2: also does She was at AFR Bachelor AFR that night
- 6:25Speaker 2: and then came over to the after party.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, those worlds are so intertwined. But that's a that's
- 6:32Speaker 3: a pretty solid career she's had.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Oh yes, she's amazing.
- 6:36Speaker 3: She is.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I love Ashley.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Okay, So tell us about practice, Like, how much did
- 6:42Speaker 2: you have to practice? I know you went back early.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Were you in the studio like ten hours a day?
- 6:47Speaker 2: What was your schedule like?
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're back in the same studio. And it's
- 6:51Speaker 3: so interesting how times have changed, even in the last
- 6:54Speaker 3: five years, because when Ardam and I were in the studio,
- 6:58Speaker 3: like we did not want to waste one second. It
- 7:00Speaker 3: was like you step in the practice room and you
- 7:03Speaker 3: are learning and sweating and just grinding and through everything.
- 7:08Speaker 3: And then now it's like they spend an hour of
- 7:11Speaker 3: their rehearsal time doing tiktoks because ah, because that's like
- 7:15Speaker 3: that like matters, which is crazy, because TikTok has become
- 7:20Speaker 3: such a thing and this it's it's got, you know,
- 7:22Speaker 3: the show has now they have their og people who
- 7:26Speaker 3: always will watch, and then they brought this new gen
- 7:29Speaker 3: Z generation of TikTokers, so it's become part of the show.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And so the first day we rehearsed for maybe like
- 7:37Speaker 3: an hour, and otherwise we were doing social media and
- 7:40Speaker 3: I was like, what is happening. I need to learn
- 7:41Speaker 3: this dance. This is so scary. And then day two
- 7:45Speaker 3: we really worked very hard, probably for about four hours.
- 7:48Speaker 3: And then the next day Emma had to film a
- 7:52Speaker 3: Christmas special and so it was just me and Andy
- 7:58Speaker 3: in the rehearsal space, which I actually think was the
- 8:01Speaker 3: biggest blessing because I think it helped that I have
- 8:05Speaker 3: taught dance before, so it was good because I could
- 8:07Speaker 3: count for him and I could do I learned my steps,
- 8:11Speaker 3: but I also learned his, so I could really help
- 8:14Speaker 3: us both do like make the most of our time
- 8:17Speaker 3: without Emma. But I think that's what helped the most,
- 8:19Speaker 3: because we had no other choice but to get through
- 8:22Speaker 3: it just us and figure out the timing and count
- 8:24Speaker 3: through everything and communicate through and everything. And then I
- 8:28Speaker 3: was like, oh my gosh, we have like one more day.
- 8:30Speaker 3: And I think it was I would have liked a
- 8:35Speaker 3: lot more rehearsal time, but I'm so proud of how
- 8:37Speaker 3: it turned out because I'm very hard on myself and
- 8:39Speaker 3: I looked at that and I was like, we were
- 8:41Speaker 3: so off time. But we got through it and we
- 8:43Speaker 3: entertained and we performed. And Andy was an absolute delight
- 8:48Speaker 3: to train with because he works so hard.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Oh I love hearing that.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I Mean, those are the kind of people that you
- 8:54Speaker 2: root for, right, I like the hard workers. And it's
- 8:57Speaker 2: not to say that anyone on this season is not
- 9:00Speaker 2: hard worker. I feel like they all are and you
- 9:01Speaker 2: kind of have to be. But I love that.
- 9:04Speaker 3: I Mean, he's in a different like his capacity to
- 9:08Speaker 3: move his body is different from these you know Whitney,
- 9:10Speaker 3: who is a trained dancer and moves like a pro.
- 9:14Speaker 3: And so to see Andy just he really puts everything
- 9:17Speaker 3: into it and he wants to learn and he wanted
- 9:19Speaker 3: to get better, and he was just so happy to
- 9:22Speaker 3: be there.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I love that. I loved that. I loved walking up
- 9:27Speaker 1: to you.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And it was so funny because for everyone listening, I
- 9:30Speaker 2: was sitting on the side where Caitlin was standing before
- 9:34Speaker 2: she went out onto the dance floor, and so when
- 9:37Speaker 2: you came out there, I ran up to you and
- 9:38Speaker 2: gave you a big hug because I hadn't had the
- 9:40Speaker 2: chance to see you yet. And I was walking up
- 9:43Speaker 2: towards you, and you were facing the other way, and
- 9:45Speaker 2: Andy looked at me and he's like hi, And I
- 9:47Speaker 2: feel like he was probably like, what is this crazy
- 9:50Speaker 2: person doing.
- 9:54Speaker 3: So he was probably like, oh, my gosh, that's Trista Sutter.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I've I doubt it, but anyw, it was
- 10:00Speaker 2: so it was so cute. I loved watching you guys,
- 10:04Speaker 2: like before you know, I took the picture and the
- 10:07Speaker 2: video that I sent to you, and just having Emma
- 10:10Speaker 2: like reach over and kind of grab for you over
- 10:13Speaker 2: Andy's shoulder.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It was so sweet. It was such a sweet moment.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Cool moment. Thank you for capturing that because I looked
- 10:19Speaker 3: at that photo and I maybe want to cry because
- 10:21Speaker 3: I love Emma. I think she is one of She's
- 10:26Speaker 3: just like such a light, and she's so positive and happy,
- 10:30Speaker 3: and her choreography is amazing, and she like understood what
- 10:33Speaker 3: to do with my personality and Andy's personality, and of course,
- 10:37Speaker 3: like part of me was like, oh, kind of would
- 10:39Speaker 3: have been nice to dance with Dylan, But then I'm like,
- 10:41Speaker 3: christ was how it was supposed to be. I was
- 10:44Speaker 3: supposed to be Andy. I had really quality time with Emma,
- 10:48Speaker 3: and I just I realized how much I miss her
- 10:50Speaker 3: and how she is such a dear friend. I really
- 10:53Speaker 3: love Emma.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Oh that makes me so happy. I really haven't gotten
- 11:07Speaker 2: to know Emma, but you can tell, like she is
- 11:10Speaker 2: such a light. I love every season. I feel like
- 11:15Speaker 2: it's every season she gets somebody that she feels like
- 11:18Speaker 2: she needs to like count when like you can see
- 11:21Speaker 2: during the dance when it's live, she's counting and saying
- 11:24Speaker 2: like giving them, you know, props for like what's gonna
- 11:27Speaker 2: come next? And I noticed that you were doing the
- 11:31Speaker 2: same thing I did.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I I was like, look, I'm going to learn my
- 11:36Speaker 3: steps and Andy's so I can count for him. Even
- 11:39Speaker 3: though I screwed up the counting at the end, but
- 11:41Speaker 3: like it didn't really matter because it was more about
- 11:43Speaker 3: like the performance at that point of it. Yeah, but
- 11:45Speaker 3: like the first counts are the most important. And I
- 11:48Speaker 3: was like, because I kept I don't know if you
- 11:50Speaker 3: could hear me, but at the very first one, I've
- 11:52Speaker 3: just kept having a safe frame because he'd always kind
- 11:56Speaker 3: of just be like here and I'd be like frame
- 11:57Speaker 3: and then he'd go, oh yeah, and then I was like.
- 12:00Speaker 2: One two three two two three three two three, Now
- 12:03Speaker 2: you're gonna turn me and throw me.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I was like trying to like watch where the cameras were,
- 12:08Speaker 3: and because you know he's he was learning I think
- 12:12Speaker 3: three different dances that week. Oh my gosh, So I
- 12:15Speaker 3: I was. I was like, that is a lot for
- 12:18Speaker 3: even when I was part of it and felt like
- 12:20Speaker 3: a dancer. So I was. I just felt so bad
- 12:24Speaker 3: that I just wanted him to get through it, and
- 12:25Speaker 3: he nailed it. I don't know why I was so
- 12:27Speaker 3: worried that he would forget his steps, but he didn't.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And yeah, it was fun to count for him because
- 12:32Speaker 3: I felt like I was like, that's such a pro move.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you weren't totally a proud you were like I
- 12:40Speaker 2: was like, oh.
- 12:41Speaker 1: She stepped right and down the shoes.
- 12:42Speaker 3: It was perfect, It was it was just the best.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I wish I could really like the amount of times
- 12:47Speaker 3: I've gone back and watched just because it's I just can't.
- 12:50Speaker 3: And it all happened so fast because there's so much
- 12:54Speaker 3: lead up and then to actually stand on that the
- 12:58Speaker 3: ballroom floor and you're so nervous, and then all of
- 13:00Speaker 3: a sudden you just black out, and you're like, did
- 13:02Speaker 3: I do the steps? Did I do the dan?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Totally?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yes, that's the first thing you said to me. You
- 13:08Speaker 2: were like, I go, how was it?
- 13:10Speaker 1: I think? Is what I said? And you were like,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I don't even know. I think I blacked out.
- 13:14Speaker 3: All I remember is the first one two three, two
- 13:16Speaker 3: two three three two three four two three, and then
- 13:18Speaker 3: I don't remember anything else.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And then you're done, yes, and then you're like, I
- 13:21Speaker 2: remember ripping off his shirt.
- 13:23Speaker 3: No, yes, and scratching his chestuat right before we started,
- 13:27Speaker 3: he goes, he goes dig your nails into my chest.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So I was like, hey, I will I love it.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Okay, let's get into who we saw from Bachelor Nation.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I know there was like a story out there about
- 13:44Speaker 2: the fact that you got to see Chris souls.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Is that the first time you've seen him? No, I
- 13:49Speaker 1: didn't think so.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I was like, someone reported it as the first time
- 13:52Speaker 2: you've seen him since his season, and I was like,
- 13:54Speaker 2: that's not true.
- 13:55Speaker 3: No, no, no, I've seen him. We were at Sarah
- 13:59Speaker 3: and Wells wedding together. There's a few other things that
- 14:02Speaker 3: we've done that I've seen him. Yeah, I've seen him
- 14:04Speaker 3: a few times.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah. I didn't think that was the case. But how
- 14:08Speaker 2: how was that seeing him?
- 14:09Speaker 3: It was good? He looks healthy, he does. Yeah, I
- 14:13Speaker 3: don't know. I don't know if I follow him or
- 14:16Speaker 3: if I know what's going on in his life, but
- 14:18Speaker 3: he just looked like he was in a good place.
- 14:23Speaker 3: It's so hard for me because it was what ten
- 14:27Speaker 3: years ago, eleven years ago, and I know too much
- 14:33Speaker 3: about like certain things with his relationship with Whitney, where
- 14:36Speaker 3: I'm like, god, don't it's hard to know something but
- 14:40Speaker 3: also keep people's privacy and know that that was eleven
- 14:43Speaker 3: years ago and that we all grow and change and
- 14:45Speaker 3: evolve into better people. So I just like saw him
- 14:48Speaker 3: and I thought he looks really like he's in a
- 14:50Speaker 3: good place, and that made me happy.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Yeah that's so true. Yeah yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 2: And then Jake came up to me and he's like, oh,
- 14:58Speaker 2: I need to meet Kaitlyn. I've never met Katelyn, and
- 15:00Speaker 2: I assume did you guys meet?
- 15:02Speaker 1: Did you meet Jake?
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah? He came up. It was so funny because they're
- 15:08Speaker 3: how many people are in Bachelor Nation from like, you
- 15:10Speaker 3: know whatever year two thousand and three is that when.
- 15:13Speaker 1: It started two thousand and two two to now?
- 15:17Speaker 3: And I watched every season, like I am. I've always
- 15:21Speaker 3: been a fan of the show, and so when he
- 15:23Speaker 3: walked up to me, I'm going, how do I know
- 15:26Speaker 3: this guy? And he goes, Okay, well, we've never met.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And I'm sitting there being like, what is he from?
- 15:30Speaker 3: Like I know this face. I watched his season. I
- 15:33Speaker 3: didn't watch that one religiously. I was kind of in
- 15:36Speaker 3: and out, but I remember, and I was just like,
- 15:38Speaker 3: how do I know this guy? And he goes, yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 3: we never met, and I went, are you sure? I
- 15:42Speaker 3: couldn't figure out, you know, who I thought he was
- 15:45Speaker 3: was whoever was third place on Andy Dorfman's season like.
- 15:50Speaker 1: A Oh lord, I have no idea.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I can't remember his name, but oh gosh, I don't
- 15:55Speaker 3: know why. That's how I thought it was. And anyways,
- 15:57Speaker 3: and then I realized, oh my gosh, that's the pilot guy.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yes, and I guarantee you you probably remember him from
- 16:04Speaker 2: the the Like special they did after his season where
- 16:08Speaker 2: him and Vienna had the like moment on the Like
- 16:11Speaker 2: love seat. Yes, yep, okay, So we have to talk
- 16:14Speaker 2: about the girls because of course, you know, it's always
- 16:18Speaker 2: such fun for me as you know, the person who's
- 16:23Speaker 2: the oldest in the bunch, I mean, not compared to Joan,
- 16:27Speaker 2: and of course she's kind of still my child even
- 16:29Speaker 2: though she's older than me.
- 16:30Speaker 3: I never think of you as the oldest. I think
- 16:33Speaker 3: of you as the first.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you for that.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I think I just get it in my head that
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'm the oldest because I was the first. But you're right,
- 16:42Speaker 2: I should just think of it as being the first.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:45Speaker 3: You're the first to ever do it. That's amazing.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:48Speaker 2: So we got I just love reconnecting with you, know,
- 16:52Speaker 2: all of our people. It was so much fun to
- 16:55Speaker 2: connect with dancing Dancing with the Stars people, especially people
- 16:58Speaker 2: that I'd never met before. But seeing like people from
- 17:03Speaker 2: you know, Bachelor Nation is always fun and we got
- 17:05Speaker 2: to hang out with I know that's so true.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Usually, you know, they have so many Bachelor people on
- 17:12Speaker 3: and it's I just feel like it's like one big family.
- 17:16Speaker 3: And so, you know, there's Charity and Kelsey and jen
- 17:20Speaker 3: and who else was there? Us obviously Joey Joey of course.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Oh and then Jonathan and Justin came from the AFR,
- 17:28Speaker 2: which was so fun to meet them because I've met
- 17:31Speaker 2: Justin before, but I had never met Jonathan. And I
- 17:34Speaker 2: don't know if you heard this conversation, but I was
- 17:36Speaker 2: sitting on the couch next to Charity, like at the
- 17:39Speaker 2: end of the night when we were all kind of
- 17:40Speaker 2: hanging out there, and Jonathan, you know, came up and
- 17:45Speaker 2: I was like, hey, I'm Trista, and He's like, oh,
- 17:47Speaker 2: so nice to meet you. And Charity's like, she is
- 17:50Speaker 2: such the hype girl. Like I love.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Her so much.
- 17:53Speaker 2: She's always like, you know, hyping everyone up. But she
- 17:57Speaker 2: was like Jonathan, please, you know, she's the queen. She's
- 18:01Speaker 2: like our first she's you know, going on and on
- 18:03Speaker 2: and on, and he's like, oh really, and then we
- 18:06Speaker 2: talked about how I was first, you know, off dancing
- 18:09Speaker 2: with the Stars and he's like, no way, Like it
- 18:11Speaker 2: was just it was hysterical his reactions and he was
- 18:14Speaker 2: just the sweetest.
- 18:16Speaker 1: So it was really fun.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Ry the way I.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Did watch your dances. You were so good. I don't
- 18:22Speaker 3: know how you were voted off first, like your rumba
- 18:24Speaker 3: walks and like you were so controlled and it was
- 18:29Speaker 3: very impressive.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 18:32Speaker 2: So for a little context, I sent my producer sent
- 18:37Speaker 2: me a YouTube video of both of my dances, and
- 18:40Speaker 2: then I just sent it to Caitlin, so she just
- 18:42Speaker 2: watched them and it was so crazy watching it back, honestly,
- 18:46Speaker 2: like kind of how you have memories brought back when
- 18:49Speaker 2: you were on the dance floor. Just watching that brought
- 18:52Speaker 2: back memories for me, especially like having Louis yell at
- 18:56Speaker 2: me like come on, you know this, like get out
- 18:58Speaker 2: of your head. You don't think about it, you know,
- 19:00Speaker 2: just dance and I'm like, dude, I don't do ballroom,
- 19:03Speaker 2: Like I have to get in my head because I
- 19:06Speaker 2: don't know the moves.
- 19:07Speaker 3: You know. It's so funny as I was teaching my
- 19:09Speaker 3: best friend Brie the Viennese waltz and she's doing like
- 19:13Speaker 3: a tiny little dancing with the local stars in Calgary
- 19:15Speaker 3: because she's on the radio station here and it's for charity.
- 19:18Speaker 2: And I realized that I was being so mean because
- 19:23Speaker 2: I was like, how are you not getting it's batside front, forward,
- 19:26Speaker 2: side back, like what?
- 19:27Speaker 3: And then I was like, wait, I get it now.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Oh it's like how we turn into our parents, we're
- 19:33Speaker 2: turning into our teachers. Yeah, badly, Okay, I know you
- 19:39Speaker 2: have to go.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Thank you so much. I love this little ketchup. Thank
- 19:44Speaker 1: you so much for making time. We all love you here.
- 19:46Speaker 1: It almost famous.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I love you guys so much, and thank you for
- 19:49Speaker 3: having me on and I love reminiscing and I'll do
- 19:51Speaker 3: it anytime about dancing with the stars, you know that right.
- 19:54Speaker 1: It's the best.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Okay, awesome, thank you guys. Love you. Oh.
- 19:59Speaker 2: It's always so much fun to just spend time with
- 20:04Speaker 2: Caitlin I. As you probably all know, I adore her.
- 20:07Speaker 2: She's a good friend, and just to get to chat
- 20:12Speaker 2: about how much fun we both had at the twentieth
- 20:15Speaker 2: anniversary and oh all of her excitement and all of
- 20:21Speaker 2: the fun she had being able to go back to
- 20:23Speaker 2: the ballroom and dance on that stage in front of
- 20:26Speaker 2: a live audience which she didn't get to do during
- 20:29Speaker 2: her season because it was COVID. It was just such
- 20:32Speaker 2: an epic night, so to be able to recap with
- 20:35Speaker 2: her was really special. So thank you everybody for listening.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Please continue to listen. You can listen to almost famous
- 20:41Speaker 2: ogs wherever you get your podcasts.
