Latest / OneLegUpAlex Media / OneLegUpAlex News: Feds Stepping in To Overrule Charlotte SHOULD BE PRECEDENT
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. All right, Well, it's been
- 0:07Speaker 1: a crazy few days here personally jumping from the Piscobo
- 0:11Speaker 1: Show to working an Arthur Idalla remote in Times Square,
- 0:15Speaker 1: so then going back on the Piscobo Show the next day.
- 0:18Speaker 1: That we're trying to just recalibrate today on Tuesday, September ninth.
- 0:24Speaker 1: But there's so much I want to get to because
- 0:28Speaker 1: the whole weekend was dominated by Karen, you know, the
- 0:33Speaker 1: baseball snatcher Karen whatever they're calling her, And that was
- 0:40Speaker 1: parallel with that horrible stabbing on video in Charlotte of
- 0:47Speaker 1: a twenty three year old Ukrainian refugee female by a
- 0:52Speaker 1: you know, I don't even want to call this monster
- 0:55Speaker 1: a career criminal. He's just pure evil. See, by calling
- 0:59Speaker 1: this guy that's been out on Cash's bail and other times,
- 1:03Speaker 1: fourteen times in and out of jail a career criminal
- 1:09Speaker 1: makes him sound like, you know, it's a career criminal. Now,
- 1:12Speaker 1: this guy's a monster. Too. Cold bloodedly stab anyone to
- 1:22Speaker 1: death that way in front of people on a light
- 1:29Speaker 1: rail or any kind of public transportation should make everybody
- 1:34Speaker 1: on edge. But what the Trump, FBI and DOJ did
- 1:39Speaker 1: today by taking control and federally charging this monster overruling
- 1:52Speaker 1: any jurisdiction of Charlotte is a good precedent. You could
- 1:59Speaker 1: say what you about the National Guard going in. Remember
- 2:04Speaker 1: Trump was about to call the National Guard into New
- 2:07Speaker 1: York City in twenty twenty, which made Cuomo step up
- 2:10Speaker 1: and actually quell the riots. But this feels different. This
- 2:16Speaker 1: kind of federal involvement feels justified, feels needed because if
- 2:22Speaker 1: local jurisdictions are not going to do the right thing
- 2:27Speaker 1: and put these monsters in jail after one or two arrests,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm saying fifteenth time. I don't want
- 2:40Speaker 1: to say it was the charm because it's awful, but
- 2:43Speaker 1: it took fifteen times for this monster to be charged federally.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And I hope this president continues here on won look
- 2:53Speaker 1: at BALX news. I hope the FEDS get involved more
- 2:56Speaker 1: in local situations. And why did it take carl and
- 3:01Speaker 1: others a month for the because this happened in August
- 3:05Speaker 1: for them to release the footage. Why wasn't that outright
- 3:14Speaker 1: taking care of him in jail, him prosecuted. Why did
- 3:18Speaker 1: take xers, you know, people on X to post this
- 3:24Speaker 1: out consistently to make noise. Why is the Charlotte Mayer
- 3:32Speaker 1: only calling this a tragedy and nothing more like, I
- 3:35Speaker 1: didn't hear her say anything about, you know, resolutions. I
- 3:41Speaker 1: just heard her say, oh, it's a tragedy. Yes, they
- 3:45Speaker 1: got her quoted as oh, well, this guy was had
- 3:49Speaker 1: mental illness and all that. At that point, I don't
- 3:52Speaker 1: want to hear it. I don't want to hear it.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And here's the other thing about the left's lack of
- 3:58Speaker 1: outrage toward this. This is the same left that is
- 4:03Speaker 1: telling us I should not be rounding up people. It's
- 4:07Speaker 1: the same left that is protesting every ice ray possible
- 4:12Speaker 1: and don't crack down on immigration. Basically, well, you just
- 4:15Speaker 1: had a refugee immigrant from Ukraine killed in cold blood,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and you're not making us think about it. Now. I
- 4:29Speaker 1: don't care and say I don't care about the color
- 4:36Speaker 1: of the skin in this point. My point is the
- 4:38Speaker 1: double standard. If a white person stabbed this woman to
- 4:46Speaker 1: death or whatever else, the left may not even recognize that,
- 4:57Speaker 1: which is a shame because they're the same people that
- 5:00Speaker 1: are talking about that, are talking about Trump's crackdown on
- 5:08Speaker 1: illegal immigration and complaining about it, protesting it. Well, here's
- 5:12Speaker 1: a refugee who flew war torn fled war torn Ukraine
- 5:18Speaker 1: to make a better life here, only to be stabbed
- 5:22Speaker 1: in cold blood brazenly on the Charlotte transit system. And
- 5:33Speaker 1: you know what's wild, This guy's also a fair beater.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I saw the other day someone just jump right over
- 5:41Speaker 1: the turnstile, and the stupid guards that have been put
- 5:46Speaker 1: in there and get paid hundred dollars an hour did
- 5:51Speaker 1: nothing at forty secondary. They just looked at the guy
- 5:56Speaker 1: and did nothing. Why are we outsourcing Charlotte's security? Why
- 6:03Speaker 1: are we outsourcing New York security? If all these bums
- 6:06Speaker 1: that stand there and just tell disable people not to
- 6:10Speaker 1: use the door. But let all these other fair beaters in,
- 6:14Speaker 1: what are we paying them for? What are we paying
- 6:19Speaker 1: them for, Mayor Adams, What are we paying them for,
- 6:25Speaker 1: Mayor Lyles? To just sit on their asses and watch
- 6:30Speaker 1: this fair beating. And I've told you this before. When
- 6:34Speaker 1: they are caught, some of these fair beaters have weapons
- 6:38Speaker 1: on them. And here's the other point. I also made
- 6:44Speaker 1: this on Joe Piscobo Show earlier yesterday. This is coming
- 6:51Speaker 1: at a time where mom Donnie has vocalized he would
- 6:56Speaker 1: love to make all the subways used space to house
- 7:03Speaker 1: the homeless. The guy, the monster, the evil scum that
- 7:09Speaker 1: stabbed this twenty three year old homeless. This moment should
- 7:15Speaker 1: be an eye opener to what that kind of policy
- 7:19Speaker 1: Mom Donnie wants to do here in New York could
- 7:21Speaker 1: lead to. And I will tell you this, I just
- 7:28Speaker 1: don't see myself wearing headphones as much in the subways anymore.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I mean, this happened at a moment where she was
- 7:39Speaker 1: instantly sitting there, and it gives you this feeling God forbid,
- 7:47Speaker 1: it could happen to anyone. And that's also the scary part.
- 7:53Speaker 1: That's why the Feds had to step in. I don't
- 7:56Speaker 1: care about the Epstein fils right now. I'm glad the
- 7:59Speaker 1: Bond and Patel and Sean Duffy's Treasures Department of Transportation
- 8:04Speaker 1: secretary all collaborated to get this investigation going. An overall
- 8:12Speaker 1: a do nothing jurisdiction in Charlotte, Well, how can do
- 8:18Speaker 1: their do nothing because they let the guy out fifteen
- 8:21Speaker 1: fourteen other times? And I could say this becomes a
- 8:27Speaker 1: do nothing jurisdiction when we don't have federal judges like
- 8:31Speaker 1: the one I mentioned the other day about the MS
- 8:33Speaker 1: thirteen gang. When we don't have those federal judges who
- 8:38Speaker 1: are actually throwing the book at these criminals and these monsters,
- 8:45Speaker 1: the local jurisdiction has to be overruled. I don't know
- 8:49Speaker 1: if I told you this story, but I was listening
- 8:51Speaker 1: to the radio and here in Nasa County, I heard
- 8:54Speaker 1: that some guy was let out and then cut his ankle. Monitor.
- 9:00Speaker 1: These are real things happening. So if I see more
- 9:05Speaker 1: federal involvement, I will welcome that, and to a point,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I could conceivably welcome that with the National Guard too,
- 9:20Speaker 1: But the overruling of the jurisdictions like we just saw
- 9:24Speaker 1: with Cash Pattel and Pam BONDI chart this is a
- 9:31Speaker 1: local transportation crime. Local crimes should be handled properly by
- 9:40Speaker 1: the local authorities and the local courts, and usually a
- 9:47Speaker 1: federal crime as if you commit something on federal property
- 9:51Speaker 1: or I guess if you do have possession of weaponry
- 9:56Speaker 1: and all that. This is a first. I've never seen
- 9:59Speaker 1: a local transit issue become a federal issue, but it's
- 10:07Speaker 1: much needed. It's a it's a moment where we're gonna
- 10:09Speaker 1: say no, you will not be let out for that
- 10:12Speaker 1: fifteenth time, you will be throwing the book at and
- 10:15Speaker 1: if it takes the fence to do it, God bless it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: We're gonna keep it that way. We're gonna keep it
- 10:23Speaker 1: that way. And then I don't know if Gaby heard
- 10:29Speaker 1: this story or if I ever said this. I was
- 10:32Speaker 1: going on the subway months ago last year, and I
- 10:37Speaker 1: asked someone, why is everybody fleeing the car? There was
- 10:39Speaker 1: a full on knife fight on the sixth train with
- 10:43Speaker 1: you and everybody was clearing the cars. And I said, boy,
- 10:49Speaker 1: a knife fight on the subway. That's what we've become here.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So just always be aware of your surroundings, because I
- 10:59Speaker 1: think it's pretty evan. And we have people roaming the
- 11:02Speaker 1: streets that have been let out once, twice, three times,
- 11:07Speaker 1: hall even ten times, And it makes you wonder why.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I understand there's a period of grace or whatnot, but
- 11:21Speaker 1: not fourteen times. That's just too politically correct, too catering
- 11:30Speaker 1: to the activists that say, uh, we don't want jails
- 11:36Speaker 1: to be filled, that complain about recidivism rates, Well, you
- 11:41Speaker 1: know what, they have jails for a reason. I could
- 11:45Speaker 1: care less about residiviian rates. It's going to keep another
- 11:48Speaker 1: person alive, and for the left to not speak out
- 11:51Speaker 1: after months of complaining and protesting and gathering and sometimes
- 11:57Speaker 1: rightfully so about the ice raids, for them to completely
- 12:03Speaker 1: blow by the fact that this woman was a refugee
- 12:08Speaker 1: who came here from a war torn country to make
- 12:12Speaker 1: go fundmes for the killer. I think we've just seen
- 12:18Speaker 1: the official sickness of the left in play, just by
- 12:24Speaker 1: the fact that people decided to form a go fund
- 12:26Speaker 1: me for this killer's legal defense. As my friend Ryan says,
- 12:34Speaker 1: make it make sense, and as I'd say, what is
- 12:38Speaker 1: wrong with people sympathizing for this killer. It's a double
- 12:47Speaker 1: standard firstly, but also it's a sickness. This go fundme
- 12:52Speaker 1: opening is a sickness because when you're going to that
- 12:58Speaker 1: length to protect a killer who killed in cold blood,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you're sick in the head, in the soul, and maybe
- 13:09Speaker 1: in the body too. And then the other thing I
- 13:13Speaker 1: was going to talk about before that stabbing actually happened
- 13:17Speaker 1: was something I read about a few days ago. If
- 13:20Speaker 1: you remember, a few weeks back, I mentioned that Christinome
- 13:24Speaker 1: was complaining Secretary christin Home was complaining that CBS did
- 13:32Speaker 1: another edit job, this time with Faced the Nation, and
- 13:38Speaker 1: it got so many people up in arms. Though we
- 13:41Speaker 1: may have seen on the front pages that CBS has
- 13:46Speaker 1: decided for face the nation, they will not edit interviews. Now,
- 13:52Speaker 1: that is journalism because we don't need christin Home's reference
- 13:58Speaker 1: to MS. Thirteen and kilmar Abrego Garcia's affiliation to them
- 14:03Speaker 1: edited out. That has to be shown to the public.
- 14:09Speaker 1: The power of letting these words air is immense. Uh
- 14:19Speaker 1: is bigger than I can even think about right now.
- 14:24Speaker 1: But I agree that these interviews should not be edited.
- 14:28Speaker 1: That is journalism integrity to leave it as is. You
- 14:32Speaker 1: know why we've gotten to fifty thousand downloads. I'm not
- 14:36Speaker 1: really edited anybody's words on here. I've let them talk.
- 14:40Speaker 1: That's the point. You want to be reputable, you let
- 14:43Speaker 1: these people talk. I don't care what position of leadership
- 14:47Speaker 1: they're in. You let them talk. I would have this
- 14:52Speaker 1: Charlotte Mayer and say, hey, you know, I know you've
- 14:54Speaker 1: had issues with ice. Well, this is a refugee that
- 14:57Speaker 1: you just got killed in your city. Where's the outru
- 15:00Speaker 1: from you besides tragedy and how awful it was. I'd
- 15:06Speaker 1: let her talk because even on that side, when you
- 15:09Speaker 1: see the lefts insanity in some of these respects. It
- 15:17Speaker 1: gives the bigger picture, so good on Face the Nation.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I don't I have to look up and see if
- 15:23Speaker 1: CBS's sixty Minutes is on that same policy too, because
- 15:27Speaker 1: remember they had to settle with Trump on the Kabbala
- 15:32Speaker 1: editing and it was edited. Her words were edited heavily.
- 15:40Speaker 1: And I hope that if they can do it for
- 15:42Speaker 1: Face the Nation, CBS can have the balls to do
- 15:45Speaker 1: it on sixty Minutes, which, oh, by the way, is
- 15:48Speaker 1: one of the biggest prime time shows that these politicians
- 15:52Speaker 1: come on. Even Trump has been on there. Obviously the
- 15:59Speaker 1: editing has to start set That is a former censorship
- 16:02Speaker 1: that is not for his speech, and it's not journalistic integrity.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And I'll give you the answer on that sixty minutes
- 16:12Speaker 1: if they're editing him or not. Still after that disaster,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and Colbert is not being fired for Trump uh settling
- 16:21Speaker 1: with paramount. It's because he was a loudmouth and had
- 16:24Speaker 1: to complain about his parent company. You don't complain about
- 16:28Speaker 1: your parent company settling with the president in the ways
- 16:33Speaker 1: he has. I mean, he's lashed out of them every night.
- 16:35Speaker 1: It's no one do they want to get rid of him.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I don't believe it's in the dude Trump. I think
- 16:39Speaker 1: it's the way he reacted to the settlement between Paramount
- 16:43Speaker 1: and Trump, because unfortunately Colbert, though he has been funny
- 16:49Speaker 1: at times when it comes to Trump, turns out to
- 16:52Speaker 1: be a whiny little loser. Yeah you heard that right,
- 16:58Speaker 1: a whiny little loser. But one final thing, and I
- 17:03Speaker 1: mentioned why these things should be shown. I was grabbing
- 17:08Speaker 1: lunch and whatnot, and I had seen, as always this
- 17:16Speaker 1: Mitzvah tank where Jewish people can literally go midday and
- 17:21Speaker 1: pray and do their Mitzvah of the day. And my
- 17:24Speaker 1: rallies say they go to the mitphah or Mitzvah truck,
- 17:28Speaker 1: innocent Jewish people who don't have any control over what
- 17:33Speaker 1: that yaod does. We're talking about innocent Jewish people and
- 17:39Speaker 1: these pro Palestine vultures here I'll say it here, vultures
- 17:47Speaker 1: were circling the truck, yelling at the truck. This is
- 17:54Speaker 1: a mental illness, that is derangement, that is targeting of
- 18:00Speaker 1: Jewish people. When you are going to take the innocent
- 18:03Speaker 1: Jewish people that want to simply go and do their
- 18:07Speaker 1: prayer of the day or however, what happened to that
- 18:09Speaker 1: Mitzva truck and start circling them, intimidating them, yelling at them.
- 18:16Speaker 1: It had to be documented. And you know what's great,
- 18:22Speaker 1: These same people that want Ice to be unmasked anti
- 18:26Speaker 1: Semitic shit through their masks their mask too. So hey,
- 18:35Speaker 1: if you want ICE to be unmasked, then slur your vile, vitriolic,
- 18:40Speaker 1: anti Semitic hate without a mask on, and you'll be
- 18:43Speaker 1: fired from your job. But at least be a man
- 18:46Speaker 1: or a woman about it. At least be a man
- 18:50Speaker 1: or a woman about it that, yes, you view things
- 18:53Speaker 1: in this way, view the Jewish people in this way.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You want to scream it at a Mitzva truck, own
- 19:01Speaker 1: up to it then and unmask yourselves, you pussies. And
- 19:06Speaker 1: maybe it's lack of sleep that's got me started up,
- 19:09Speaker 1: but I was on the phone with Gabby. I said, look,
- 19:11Speaker 1: they're circling the truck. I have to get the pictures, like,
- 19:13Speaker 1: don't stay too long. Well, I wanted to. I had
- 19:16Speaker 1: a document. This is how far the Free Palestine, which
- 19:22Speaker 1: is really target Jews movement, has gone. They're innocent, They're
- 19:27Speaker 1: circling and innocent mitz for truck which parks there every day.
- 19:37Speaker 1: And that's okay. And that's okay. And and you know
- 19:42Speaker 1: when Trump bombed the Narco terrorists last week, the life
- 19:48Speaker 1: was up and on. He's got them defending cartels. He's
- 19:53Speaker 1: got them defending illegals that are here, uh some violent
- 20:01Speaker 1: breaking out of law. He's got the left now defending
- 20:07Speaker 1: now outright support showing support for targeting and Jewish people.
- 20:13Speaker 1: And I'm maybe not Trumble himself, but the movements are
- 20:16Speaker 1: doing this to themselves. And I love what Steve Ebert
- 20:20Speaker 1: had to say. My friend Steve Ebert, who used to
- 20:22Speaker 1: be on the radio with us every Saturday, he said,
- 20:27Speaker 1: thank you for posting this May And I want to
- 20:31Speaker 1: get the quote exactly right from him because it just
- 20:34Speaker 1: struck a chord with me when I saw what he wrote.
- 20:40Speaker 1: He said, thank you for posting this. Let people never
- 20:43Speaker 1: say that they don't know what these protests are really about.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So when you support, when you support the pro Palestine
- 20:53Speaker 1: quote unquote free guys of movement, you're really supporting those
- 20:58Speaker 1: that go out and intimidate, sometimes spit at, sometimes well
- 21:03Speaker 1: heavily curse at innocent Jewish people just trying to live
- 21:09Speaker 1: their life in America. And that has to stop. That
- 21:17Speaker 1: has to be condemned. And if you're one of those
- 21:20Speaker 1: that support these people, you, in fact, I continue anti semitic,
- 21:28Speaker 1: I really would, because you're not dumb. You know what
- 21:34Speaker 1: you're supporting. You know when you criticize my post, what
- 21:38Speaker 1: you're doing, And it's just it's awful. But how did
- 21:51Speaker 1: we get here to wear an innocent Mitzvah truck has
- 21:56Speaker 1: to be circled by the pro power last time vultures.
- 22:04Speaker 1: That's not free speech, that's very much hate speech and intimidation.
- 22:12Speaker 1: But but I guess because they were peaceful, no one
- 22:13Speaker 1: got arrested. Well they should have been, because I'm now
- 22:20Speaker 1: getting tired of the Well they weren't violent, or they
- 22:23Speaker 1: were they're spewing hate speech at innocent Jewish people that
- 22:30Speaker 1: want to just simply go in and out of that
- 22:31Speaker 1: truck to do their prayer of the day. Actually, I
- 22:38Speaker 1: think it was with Gabby in All in October of
- 22:41Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, after October seventh, I did the UH
- 22:49Speaker 1: and I forget the name of it, but they do
- 22:50Speaker 1: a little ritual with you if you're Jewish, and I
- 22:53Speaker 1: felt so called to do it. They did a whole
- 22:55Speaker 1: prayer of me outside the Museum of the name of
- 22:59Speaker 1: the American Indian and it was really really special because
- 23:10Speaker 1: having bim bar mitzvah, having grown up in the synagogue,
- 23:15Speaker 1: and mostly having a connection to a bout the Old
- 23:18Speaker 1: and New Testament, as I feel I do. When I
- 23:28Speaker 1: saw October seventh, it hurt a lot. And when I
- 23:33Speaker 1: heard that people thought the photos were fake. I mean,
- 23:38Speaker 1: you're telling me a burn baby is fake. You're sick
- 23:44Speaker 1: too if you should think that. And now we're almost
- 23:51Speaker 1: and actually that picture was taken on the eighth, We're
- 23:54Speaker 1: almost a month away from the year to the day.
- 24:03Speaker 1: And these vultures have now gone from just from beyond
- 24:09Speaker 1: just taking the streets of any city to now a
- 24:14Speaker 1: simple mitzvah truck trying to do good for the Jewish people.
- 24:21Speaker 1: And that should be alarming, that should be pointed out.
- 24:31Speaker 1: And obviously if it was more heated, I normally would run,
- 24:39Speaker 1: but because they were right next to the truck with
- 24:41Speaker 1: the Palestine flag, I had to show it. I had
- 24:45Speaker 1: to show this is where the moment really lies. Their
- 24:51Speaker 1: heart is evil for targeting Jewish people, no other way
- 24:59Speaker 1: to say it. Well, that's a lot in the twenty
- 25:04Speaker 1: minute span, but that's kind of what I was thinking
- 25:06Speaker 1: about the whole weekend and the obsession with the Karen
- 25:11Speaker 1: ball Snatcher. I think it was stupid. I think it
- 25:16Speaker 1: was just dumb. I think she also is pretty pretty freaking.
- 25:24Speaker 1: That's not normal to go right to a father of
- 25:27Speaker 1: a kid at a baseball game and scream at them
- 25:29Speaker 1: unless you're Zac Campy. That's not nor ample. That's not normal.
- 25:36Speaker 1: And I wonder if she's ever gonna be found out.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You wonder because apparently there have been a lot of
- 25:40Speaker 1: faith things. But that story is like bottom of the
- 25:46Speaker 1: list for me, because I think the Charlotte issue, the
- 25:55Speaker 1: Charlotte killing, the pro Palace Stegin movements circling a Mitzvah
- 26:03Speaker 1: truck are telling of where the times are culture. Karen
- 26:10Speaker 1: boll Snatcher is great for the memes and all that,
- 26:12Speaker 1: but it's not what needs to be fixed right now.
- 26:18Speaker 1: One needs to be fixed. Are there fourteen or fifteen
- 26:23Speaker 1: reasons why this asshole, evil scum murderer was not on
- 26:30Speaker 1: the streets. How does cashless bail work every time? And
- 26:41Speaker 1: here in New York? How can Cuomo say his cashle's
- 26:49Speaker 1: bail efforts, you know, how can he backtrack on that
- 26:53Speaker 1: he can't. He's made crime pretty prevalent here too. I
- 26:58Speaker 1: mean we're seeing a safe August, yes, But overall since
- 27:02Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, there's been instances. There's been there's been a
- 27:10Speaker 1: lot of different instances. Things that Cash's ball, which he
- 27:16Speaker 1: was the architect of and now is mayor running from.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Everything's going to walk that back, Governor Cuomo. We never forget,
- 27:28Speaker 1: and I say that about a lot of things. We
