Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Clemency Without Accountability: Who’s Really Backing Maxwell?
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. For the past few weeks now, we've been
- 0:08Speaker 1: hearing that members of the GOP who sit on the
- 0:11Speaker 1: House committee that's overseeing the Epstein situation are divided on
- 0:17Speaker 1: whether President Trump should issue a pardon to Klaine Maxwell.
- 0:21Speaker 1: But isn't it odd that we don't have any names
- 0:24Speaker 1: to attach to this, Like, if these Republicans are backing
- 0:28Speaker 1: a pardon for Maxwell, shouldn't they go on the record.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I mean, they should explain why they think the way
- 0:34Speaker 1: they think. Right, what exactly do you hope to gain
- 0:39Speaker 1: from giving Lanne Maxwell a pardon? Considering she actually took
- 0:43Speaker 1: part in the abuse herself, considering she was somebody that
- 0:47Speaker 1: transported these girls to Jeffrey Epstein, and considering she's absolutely
- 0:51Speaker 1: decimated as a witness, what exactly are you trying to gain? Well,
- 0:56Speaker 1: they'll tell you they're looking to get her cooperation, But
- 0:59Speaker 1: the truth is, what they're really trying to do is
- 1:02Speaker 1: to continue with the cover up. That's the most important thing.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Not transparency, not justice, not shooting the American people straight,
- 1:11Speaker 1: but bullshitting, lying and protecting the very people that they
- 1:15Speaker 1: should be investigating and If they really believe that Glayn
- 1:19Speaker 1: Maxwell deserves a pardon, then put your name behind that
- 1:23Speaker 1: bullshit and quit attributing it to anonymous sources. Don't be
- 1:27Speaker 1: a coward. Instead stand ten To's down and stand on business.
- 1:32Speaker 1: But we all know that these cowards will never do that.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Today's article is from The Guardian and the headline Republicans
- 1:39Speaker 1: appear split an idea of clemency for Glenn Maxwell. This
- 1:44Speaker 1: article was authored by Victoria be kempests the possibility of
- 1:48Speaker 1: clemency for Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice Glen Maxwell, however unlikely, has
- 1:53Speaker 1: long outrage survivors and their advocates, who view the former
- 1:56Speaker 1: British socialites lengthy jail sentence as giving them some justice
- 2:01Speaker 1: In the long running saga, Well, if you were one
- 2:04Speaker 1: of those girls and you were abused and the only
- 2:08Speaker 1: person that went to jail for it went to prison
- 2:11Speaker 1: for it is now being dangled as somebody that might
- 2:16Speaker 1: get a pardon, wouldn't you be a bit upset as well?
- 2:20Speaker 1: Wouldn't you be outspoken? Wouldn't you be raising Holy Hell?
- 2:25Speaker 1: We all know the answer to that, So why shouldn't
- 2:27Speaker 1: these women raise Holy hell? When this's bullshit? Right here
- 2:31Speaker 1: directly affects them, so maybe somebody should ask them how
- 2:35Speaker 1: they feel. Recent reporting that a pardon for Maxwell is
- 2:40Speaker 1: now being discussed supportively in some circles, however, has highlighted
- 2:44Speaker 1: how Epstein and Maxwell remain a political mind feel for
- 2:47Speaker 1: Republicans and Donald Trump, while presenting yet another blow to
- 2:51Speaker 1: Survivor's fight for transparency. News broke in late April that
- 2:55Speaker 1: representatives on the House Oversite and Government Reform Committee had
- 2:59Speaker 1: split opinion whether the president should pardon the convicted sex
- 3:03Speaker 1: trafficker Maxwell so she would cooperate with their investigation into Epstein.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Survivor's advocates responded with indignation, as they should have. Remember,
- 3:14Speaker 1: Maxwell isn't going to give you any evidence that's going
- 3:17Speaker 1: to be actionable. I know I've said this a million times,
- 3:22Speaker 1: but I guess it bears worth repeating. Glenn Maxwell as
- 3:26Speaker 1: a witness is cooked. And I know that some of
- 3:29Speaker 1: you follow trials out there, and I know that you've
- 3:31Speaker 1: seen witnesses get up on the stand and get absolutely
- 3:34Speaker 1: mrked by the lawyer and think about the worst instance
- 3:39Speaker 1: of that happening, and then times that by about one hundred,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and that's what would happen to Glenn Maxwell. I mean,
- 3:45Speaker 1: this lady is a known liar. Somebody that was charged
- 3:49Speaker 1: with perjury would have been convicted of it, but the
- 3:52Speaker 1: court dropped those charges to help streamline the main charges
- 3:55Speaker 1: of human trafficking and the Man Act. But I don't
- 3:58Speaker 1: think there's any lawyer in this country, even a terrible lawyer,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that wouldn't be able to utilize all of that as
- 4:05Speaker 1: a cudgel against Maxwell if she ever took the stand.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And remember, if she's going to be some kind of witness,
- 4:11Speaker 1: she asked to take the stand, so good luck. Any
- 4:17Speaker 1: talk of clemency for Glenn Maxwell in exchange for testimony
- 4:20Speaker 1: turns justice on its head. It risks rewarding the very
- 4:24Speaker 1: person who helped enable the abuse, said gold Cloth clo
- 4:28Speaker 1: and litigation director Spencer Couven, who's represented numerous Epstein survivors.
- 4:34Speaker 1: And Spencer Couven's been very outspoken this whole entire time.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And he's not one of those lawyers that sits in
- 4:39Speaker 1: a room right, looks at paperwork and makes phone calls.
- 4:43Speaker 1: He's a litigation specialist. That's somebody that actually goes into
- 4:47Speaker 1: the courtroom and fights it out. And this man has
- 4:50Speaker 1: been very vocal about what happened with Epstein, what happened
- 4:54Speaker 1: with the cover up, and certainly what happened with Prince Andrew.
- 4:59Speaker 1: While Congress says no power to grant a pardon, even
- 5:01Speaker 1: entertaining that conversation signals to victims that they're suffering, is
- 5:05Speaker 1: still being treated as secondary to political strategy. Justice should
- 5:10Speaker 1: never be transactional when it comes to crimes of this magnitude.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I agree one million percent there is no scenario under
- 5:19Speaker 1: this sun where GALLAINN. Maxwell should be pardoned, unless, of course,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you're looking to protect the administration. Because short of that,
- 5:27Speaker 1: Kahlain Maxwell has zero worth as a witness of any kind.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And I want you to remember what she told Todd
- 5:33Speaker 1: Blanche that she had no idea about Jeffrey Epstein's behavior,
- 5:37Speaker 1: that she wasn't around them, that she wasn't somebody that
- 5:40Speaker 1: was locked in with Epstein after two thousand and seven.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So if that's the case, then how could she have
- 5:48Speaker 1: any information to give anybody? So either way, she's a liar, right,
- 5:55Speaker 1: And if you think that that's going to fly inside
- 5:57Speaker 1: of a courtroom with the judge or the jurors, you
- 6:00Speaker 1: have not been paying attention Credibility is the currency inside
- 6:03Speaker 1: of a courtroom, and Glenn Maxwell has none of it.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Sigarette McAuley, a managing partner at Boys Schiller Flexner who
- 6:12Speaker 1: has long represented Epstein's survivors, voice similar sentiments in a statement,
- 6:16Speaker 1: saying there could be no greater injustice to survivors than
- 6:20Speaker 1: for President Trump to pardon Glenn Maxwell as Jeffrey Epstein's
- 6:24Speaker 1: co conspirator, she was found guilty and convicted by a
- 6:27Speaker 1: jury for incredibly serious sex crimes against miners. McCauley said,
- 6:33Speaker 1: there's nothing credible that she will offer the government, and
- 6:37Speaker 1: the assertion that she will provide information is simply a
- 6:40Speaker 1: smoke screen, and that's really what it comes down to.
- 6:45Speaker 1: If Maxwell had anything of note to offer up, she
- 6:48Speaker 1: would have done it when she was under suspicion and
- 6:52Speaker 1: facing prison. The second you're convicted, the second that that
- 6:57Speaker 1: gavel comes crashing down, that's it. You're now a convicted
- 7:01Speaker 1: felon with a lot to gain by lying, So why
- 7:04Speaker 1: should anyone ever believe you. Jennifer Freeman of Marsh Law Firm,
- 7:09Speaker 1: who represents Epstein and Maxwell survivor Annie Farmer, said that
- 7:13Speaker 1: no form of clemency could ever be justified. Any pardon
- 7:16Speaker 1: or a commutation of Glenn Maxwell's rightful sentence would betray
- 7:20Speaker 1: the survivors, mock the gravity of their suffering, and fundamentally
- 7:23Speaker 1: undermine the integrity of our judicial system. She added. The
- 7:28Speaker 1: survivor's advocates are by no means alone in their views,
- 7:32Speaker 1: with many Oversight members, including Republican chair James Comer, reportedly
- 7:37Speaker 1: opposing clemency. So who are the people that are supporting it?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Or is it just a made up story? Remember we
- 7:43Speaker 1: have to be mindful of that too. Look, there's a
- 7:46Speaker 1: lot going on here and a lot of people are
- 7:49Speaker 1: trying to control narratives. But I'm not interested in any
- 7:52Speaker 1: of that. I'm only interested in getting as close to
- 7:55Speaker 1: the truth as possible. So if people are out here
- 7:59Speaker 1: saying they're going to pork Lion Maxwell, put your name
- 8:01Speaker 1: behind it. Don't be a coward. If that's what you
- 8:06Speaker 1: truly feel, and that's what you believe, and you think
- 8:09Speaker 1: that we're gonna get something from it, let's hear your
- 8:11Speaker 1: side of the story. Or is it that nobody really
- 8:14Speaker 1: supports that kind of pardon and this is a made
- 8:17Speaker 1: up story by the legacy media? Very possible, I don't
- 8:21Speaker 1: discount anything. I've told you that from the very beginning.
- 8:24Speaker 1: The legacy media has been very duplicitous when it comes
- 8:27Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein, this story and reporting on it the
- 8:31Speaker 1: right way. And look, they've done a better job recently,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but that doesn't forgive all of the deceit from the past, right.
- 8:38Speaker 1: And if they think I'm just gonna trust them, I'm not.
- 8:42Speaker 1: The days of trust us bro are long over. And
- 8:46Speaker 1: that's why I always show you, guys my work, give
- 8:47Speaker 1: you the source, and then show you where I'm getting
- 8:50Speaker 1: the information that I'm getting. And look, even if you
- 8:53Speaker 1: disagree with my opinion, at least you have the source
- 8:55Speaker 1: material to look at for yourself and for me, I
- 8:59Speaker 1: think that's the most important thing, opening the door. I'm
- 9:03Speaker 1: not some genius who knows everything about the story. I'm
- 9:06Speaker 1: not some you know, expert who never misses anything. And honestly,
- 9:10Speaker 1: I feel like my job, if you want to call
- 9:12Speaker 1: it that is to open doors for you folks, and
- 9:16Speaker 1: then if you walk through them, great, If you don't,
- 9:18Speaker 1: that's cool too. I'm not here to convince anybody of anything,
- 9:21Speaker 1: Like I always tell you, what I'm here to do
- 9:24Speaker 1: is shine a light and the best way to do
- 9:26Speaker 1: that is not to just give you my opinion, but
- 9:29Speaker 1: to show you how I got to that point. And
- 9:31Speaker 1: that's why we read the core documents all the way through,
- 9:34Speaker 1: even when they're boring. Sometimes I feel like you folks
- 9:37Speaker 1: deserve to have that information. And the only way you're
- 9:40Speaker 1: ever going to get to a point where you have
- 9:42Speaker 1: an educated opinion on anything is if you have the
- 9:45Speaker 1: information in front of you, right or whatever's available, and
- 9:49Speaker 1: then you dive into it and you figure out what's
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you know. There's facts, there's speculation, and then there's
- 9:57Speaker 1: what we know and what we can prove. And here
- 10:00Speaker 1: on the podcast, I've always tried to stick to the
- 10:02Speaker 1: things that I feel like we can prove. Now, that
- 10:04Speaker 1: doesn't mean that the other stuff isn't true or it
- 10:07Speaker 1: didn't happen, or I don't believe it, but I'm not
- 10:10Speaker 1: going to get caught in that snare, you know, the
- 10:12Speaker 1: snare of slaciousness, the snare of chasing things that might
- 10:15Speaker 1: be when there are so many things already sitting here
- 10:19Speaker 1: in front of us that are so if we devour
- 10:23Speaker 1: those things and prove that those things actually happened, it's
- 10:26Speaker 1: going to open the door for everything else. Trump vowed
- 10:29Speaker 1: while campaigning that he would release the Epstein files, and
- 10:32Speaker 1: this promise firmed up Trump's already extensive support among far
- 10:36Speaker 1: right Republicans, many of whom think that Epstein was among
- 10:39Speaker 1: a cabal of global elite who's sex traffic children with immunity.
- 10:44Speaker 1: So people who think that are far right, Victoria, have
- 10:47Speaker 1: you not been on the internet recently, because I assure
- 10:51Speaker 1: you there are people on the left that feel the
- 10:53Speaker 1: same exact way. There are people on the left that
- 10:58Speaker 1: sound very very much like QA non people now, and
- 11:03Speaker 1: I don't even blame them. People on the left were
- 11:06Speaker 1: lied to for a very long time by the legacy
- 11:09Speaker 1: media about this topic, and then when the reality hit
- 11:12Speaker 1: these people like a thousand pounds of bricks, it was unnerving.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And then of course you get to look at the
- 11:18Speaker 1: emails for yourself, and it's obvious that there's something going on. Now.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and tell you that
- 11:24Speaker 1: it's a global cabal. You know, I've never prescribed to
- 11:27Speaker 1: that bullshit. But what I will tell you is this,
- 11:31Speaker 1: The financial sector is evil and all the people that
- 11:34Speaker 1: are wrapped up in it. As far as you know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: the big shots I don't mean the regular people day
- 11:40Speaker 1: to day, you know, processing your bank fees. I'm talking
- 11:44Speaker 1: about the big shots, the Jamie Diamonds of the world,
- 11:46Speaker 1: et cetera. Those are the people that are evil. In
- 11:49Speaker 1: my opinion. You want to talk about who runs the
- 11:53Speaker 1: whole world, it's not the WEF it's not the Rothchilds,
- 11:57Speaker 1: It's the financial institution as a whole. Trump's Justice Department
- 12:03Speaker 1: repeatedly failed to deliver these files as promised. Meanwhile, Maxwell
- 12:07Speaker 1: was moved to a low security prison camp in Texas
- 12:10Speaker 1: one week after her controversial interview with now acting Attorney
- 12:13Speaker 1: General Todd blanche fomenting conspiracy theories and cover up allegations. Well,
- 12:20Speaker 1: what else could it be, Victoria? Is Victoria going to
- 12:23Speaker 1: position herself as if this isn't a cover up? Is
- 12:27Speaker 1: that what she's really saying here, Because in my opinion,
- 12:30Speaker 1: there is more than enough evidence pointing to a cover up.
- 12:34Speaker 1: And I think the onus is on people who say
- 12:36Speaker 1: there's no cover up to provide the evidence to prove it. Sorry,
- 12:40Speaker 1: because that's what we're doing here on a daily basis,
- 12:43Speaker 1: providing receipts. Congress members then took it upon themselves to
- 12:48Speaker 1: seek answers on their own. These efforts culminated in the
- 12:52Speaker 1: bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandated that Justice release
- 12:56Speaker 1: all documents by December nineteenth, which they didn't do, which
- 13:00Speaker 1: is wild considering the Justice Department of law places should
- 13:03Speaker 1: be compliant with the law. While one tranch was released
- 13:07Speaker 1: on that date, other disclosures came past the deadline, and
- 13:11Speaker 1: these releases also contained numerous redactions. Trump and many Republicans
- 13:16Speaker 1: now face dizzying political fallout months before the midterms, as
- 13:20Speaker 1: well as party infighting that raises the stakes still more.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And look, it's a problem they created for themselves. Do
- 13:27Speaker 1: you know how many independents have dipped and jumped off
- 13:30Speaker 1: the boat? A whole lot of them. I know a
- 13:35Speaker 1: whole lot of people that are sitting out the midterms,
- 13:37Speaker 1: A whole lot of people, which is wild. Me personally,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I'm not setting anything out. I'm going to do what
- 13:43Speaker 1: I always do and vote against the incumbent until I
- 13:47Speaker 1: have an incumbent worthwhile, I'll be voting against them. Why
- 13:50Speaker 1: would I reward somebody by sending them back to office
- 13:52Speaker 1: who did a shitty job the first term because they
- 13:55Speaker 1: have a certain letter in front of their name, don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: give a shit about any of that. Republican congress members
- 14:03Speaker 1: comments suggest internal dissent. When asked by Politico if he
- 14:06Speaker 1: thought clemency with Maxwell for her testimony would be a
- 14:09Speaker 1: good agreement, Comer reportedly said a lot of people do,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and that my committee split on that. How come nobody's
- 14:16Speaker 1: tried to hammer down names here, like who are the
- 14:19Speaker 1: people that are backing up Glenn Maxwell getting a pardon?
- 14:22Speaker 1: How about we start there and then we could speak
- 14:25Speaker 1: to those people directly. Comer, who did not name the
- 14:29Speaker 1: potential pardon supporters, does not himself back such an idea,
- 14:33Speaker 1: telling the news outlet, I think it looks bad, and honestly,
- 14:36Speaker 1: other than Epstein, the worst person in this whole investigation
- 14:40Speaker 1: is Maxwell. Look, I don't really agree with Comer on much,
- 14:43Speaker 1: but I agree with that Maxwell is an absolutely smarmy,
- 14:47Speaker 1: evil person and she should be under the prison, not
- 14:51Speaker 1: sitting in a jail cell playing with puppies and eaton
- 14:54Speaker 1: chick fil a. Republican Congressman Thomas Massey, who co sponsored
- 14:58Speaker 1: the Epstein files transparen the Act, called out one of
- 15:01Speaker 1: Trump's closest allies when asked about reported congressional pardon talk.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm adamantly opposed to it, Massey said in a statement.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Blanche already inexplicably and inappropriately moved her to a country
- 15:13Speaker 1: club prison with no new information or indictments of co conspirators.
- 15:18Speaker 1: She didn't play ball at all. And remember she was
- 15:20Speaker 1: already in the honor dorm in Tallahassee. And can somebody
- 15:25Speaker 1: refresh my memory about how many people in the women's
- 15:28Speaker 1: prison in Tallahassee have been killed? Oh that's right, none,
- 15:31Speaker 1: got it, book Leanne Maxwell. She was under a lot
- 15:35Speaker 1: of stress, and you know she was in danger, so
- 15:37Speaker 1: they had to move her. Although he Republicans are opposed
- 15:41Speaker 1: to clemency and the White House has insisted Trump wasn't
- 15:43Speaker 1: thinking about it. Pardon mentions provide an opportunity for Democrats
- 15:47Speaker 1: to slam Republicans despite their joint fight for transparency. Look,
- 15:51Speaker 1: it's all about politics. Don't forget that both sides and
- 15:55Speaker 1: the Democrats are just as guilty as the Republicans of
- 15:58Speaker 1: trying to harness this issue into a weapon. And this
- 16:02Speaker 1: is what I warned about from the beginning. When people
- 16:04Speaker 1: start retreating to their bunkers and thinking, oh, it's the
- 16:07Speaker 1: other side, they're missing the HD picture, and that HD
- 16:11Speaker 1: picture tells us that it's all of them, all of
- 16:15Speaker 1: these scumbags. It's outrageous at Republicans on the Oversight Committee
- 16:22Speaker 1: are considering a pardon for Glenn Maxwell, said Democratic Congressman
- 16:25Speaker 1: Robert Garcia, the ranking member of Oversight. She's a sexual
- 16:30Speaker 1: abuser who facilitated the rape of women and children. This
- 16:34Speaker 1: is a shameful way to treat survivors. Oversight Democrats are
- 16:38Speaker 1: united in opposing any pardon. Well, she also took part
- 16:42Speaker 1: in the abuse herself. Let us not forget that part,
- 16:46Speaker 1: because that part is the most egregious of them all.
- 16:51Speaker 1: It goes very much against what Republicans stand for, which
- 16:54Speaker 1: is more law and order based on platform, said Hank Sheinkoff,
- 16:57Speaker 1: a veteran Democratic strategist. Clemency for someone who wasn't convicted
- 17:02Speaker 1: of such notorious crimes would be one thing, Shinkoff said,
- 17:06Speaker 1: but the Maxwell case is something that's burned into the
- 17:09Speaker 1: brains of a majority of the population of the country. Certainly, Now,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I honestly don't know one person that I've met in
- 17:17Speaker 1: real life that would be okay with Maxwell getting a pardon.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Discussions of clemency might also be an effort to game
- 17:25Speaker 1: out the next steps in addressing this controversy. Even if
- 17:28Speaker 1: most Americans wouldn't support a pardon, politicians will float an idea,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and it's like a balloon, Shinkoff said, it goes up
- 17:36Speaker 1: in the air and if it drops to the ground quickly,
- 17:39Speaker 1: it'll suddenly disappear. Brittany Martinez, executive director of Principle First
- 17:45Speaker 1: and a Republican strategist, called the reported mentions of a
- 17:48Speaker 1: pardon discussion absolutely detestable. Agreed, So again, who are these
- 17:53Speaker 1: people talking about it? Let's see some names. As for
- 18:00Speaker 1: the rationale behind having these discussions, Martinez said, I don't
- 18:04Speaker 1: know what the point is. I think it's terrible, a
- 18:07Speaker 1: terrible look for Republicans. Again, they were the party running
- 18:10Speaker 1: on releasing the Epstein files, Martinez said, noting how the
- 18:14Speaker 1: political article indicated it was just Republican members discussing clemency.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Not only have you not fully released the Epstein files,
- 18:23Speaker 1: but also you're willing to pardon the number two to
- 18:26Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. Valid point, valid point. And I have no
- 18:32Speaker 1: idea how any of these Republicans sitting on the committee
- 18:37Speaker 1: could even entertain the idea That seems like political Sepaku
- 18:40Speaker 1: to me. Adding to the confusion or comments from Maxwell's
- 18:47Speaker 1: attorney David Oscar Marcus, I don't know what the percentages are.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Marcus recently told Politico there's a good chance and for
- 18:54Speaker 1: good reason, that she would get a pardon. This stands
- 18:57Speaker 1: in contrast to what the person who could grant clemency
- 18:59Speaker 1: is said. In response to a question last fall, I'll
- 19:03Speaker 1: pardon in Maxwell, Trump said, I haven't thought about it. Oh,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm sure not one thought about it, not at all.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Marcus did not respond to the Guardian's request for comment.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Maxwell has maintained her innocence. Let's remember she's not accused,
- 19:17Speaker 1: she's convicted, and you know who else maintained their innocence
- 19:20Speaker 1: until they were just put to death? That broadenact's character
- 19:23Speaker 1: down in Texas. So a convict claiming that they're innocent
- 19:29Speaker 1: is not really breaking news. Maxwell herself is not standing
- 19:37Speaker 1: idly by during these reported congressional discussions. Manhattan federal court
- 19:41Speaker 1: records last week revealed that she's once again challenging her
- 19:45Speaker 1: conviction for Nemo Rockmanni, a former federal prosecutor and founder
- 19:50Speaker 1: of West Coast Trial Lawyers. That effort seems slimsy. Here
- 19:54Speaker 1: you have Glenn Maxwell saying she's innocent. Rockmanni said, obviously,
- 19:58Speaker 1: twelve men and women on a jury disagreed. I think
- 20:02Speaker 1: there's no chance, or almost no chance, that she's going
- 20:05Speaker 1: to get out, and I don't think she's going to
- 20:07Speaker 1: either rite when everything is said and done. But there's
- 20:10Speaker 1: the possibility, and if you have people in Congress talking
- 20:14Speaker 1: about it, that possibility grows, and god knows what kind
- 20:18Speaker 1: of justification they'll come up with for it, but you
- 20:22Speaker 1: better believe they'll come up with something. So I think
- 20:24Speaker 1: the most important thing here obviously is Maxwell not getting
- 20:27Speaker 1: a pardon, But besides that, how about we get some
- 20:29Speaker 1: names of these Republicans who are backing Glenn Maxwell getting
- 20:33Speaker 1: a pardon, and then, of course we can ask them
- 20:35Speaker 1: directly why they feel that way. But as of now,
- 20:40Speaker 1: we don't have those names, and all we have are
- 20:42Speaker 1: allegations and unnamed sources saying that this is occurring. So,
- 20:47Speaker 1: like everything else, we'll keep an eye on it, and
- 20:50Speaker 1: when we get some more information one way or the other,
- 20:52Speaker 1: we'll get it added to the catalog. All the information
- 20:55Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 20:59Speaker 1: description box.
