- 9:26SPEAKER_04: Every death in the county except those of natural causes and non-criminal car wrecks are presented to your grand jury.
- 9:32SPEAKER_04: Many people don't know that we have handled death investigations in this manner my entire career Nolan's case is being handled the same way with the same care and the same commitment to the truth that we handle all death investigations.
- 9:47SPEAKER_04: I understand the public's urgency to know what happened to Nolan but we are not taking time for time's sake we are taking the time required to complete the work this investigation demands.
- 9:59SPEAKER_04: Since Nolan was reported missing local state and federal law enforcement agencies have worked around the clock investigating what happened to him.
- 10:09SPEAKER_04: Every piece of evidence must be examined every credible lead must be followed to its conclusion.
- 10:15SPEAKER_04: Every witness interview must be analyzed in context of all other evidence the pressure for answers does not change what the work requires our responsibility to Nolan and our community is to complete this investigation thoroughly, carefully without compromise supported by the evidence and worthy of the confidence of the people we serve.
- 10:39SPEAKER_04: I also understand that many people have questions about why more information has not been released publicly.
- 10:45SPEAKER_04: In Mississippi the rules of professional conduct restrict the information a prosecutor can release during an investigation our restraint in communicating facts and evidence is not an effort to keep the truth from the public.
- 10:58SPEAKER_04: It is an effort to protect the integrity of this investigation in the grand jury proceeding.
- 11:03SPEAKER_04: As your district attorney I have an ethical obligation to avoid public statements that could influence witnesses, prejudice the proceeding or compromise the fairness of the legal process my obligation extends to and requires me to use reasonable care to ensure investigating agencies avoid making those statements and releasing information as well.
- 11:25SPEAKER_04: These rules exist to protect the search for the truth not to prevent it as divided as the discussion surrounding Nolan's death has become I know we all want the same thing to understand what happened to Nolan.
- 11:42SPEAKER_04: With that being our shared goal we must also share in the goal of protecting the integrity of how the truth is discovered.
- 11:49SPEAKER_04: If we sacrifice the integrity of the process in effort to satisfy today's questions, we risk undermining the confidence in tomorrow's answers.
- 11:59SPEAKER_04: When the public asks what about this or have they looked at that or did they think about this, the answer is yes.
- 12:05SPEAKER_04: Those are the same questions investigators ask.
- 12:08SPEAKER_04: The difference is that we can't publicly discuss the evidence, the interviews or what those efforts have uncovered while the investigation is underway.
- 12:18SPEAKER_04: Again, our restraint in sharing details of the investigation is not a refusal to share the truth.
- 12:25SPEAKER_04: It is our commitment to protect the process that allows the truth to be known with confidence.
- 12:33SPEAKER_04: There's a lot of information out there and there is a heck of a lot of misinformation out there.
- 12:38SPEAKER_04: I simply want the community I serve to know that this investigation is being handled with the care, professionalism and commitment to the truth that every family in Jackson County deserves as we continue this important work no one's family his friends and all who loved him remain in our prayers that is not the whole thing I'm so sick but there was a few things that she said I don't even want to hear her voice no more anyway right now.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: We know what the fuck she said um I'm about to just jump right in and I'm and I'm apologizing to y'all today because I'm just uh we we I'm not even going in no specific order I am furious I can't wait to get on social media today and blast everybody's ass they said his death is is undetermined the cause of his death they have no evidence of drowning yet they are determining that he drowned with no evidence of him drowning we hear about now we know he did have bruises and now we got some phantom witness talking about he slipped and fell at 330 and and and may have what hit his head and bruised his up his body on a boat you telling me we haven't heard anything about no so no all this shit happened think about this think about all this random shit that's all took place the block that the the boat was about this all between three and four thirty listen to what happened tell me does this make sense from between the time from the time of three o'clock to four thirty warren's brother got into a fight Nolan is cradling Katie next to the boat the bled pump is going the bled pump or blitz pump or whatever is is is is is malfunctioning the boat about to sink now we see at 330 Nolan slipped and fell all of this shit supposed to take place and then we find Nolan has disappeared and and he's supposed to drown who y'all think we are where's his throat you expect me to believe Mississippi I can't believe out of nowhere they're talking about oh yeah a witness said Nolan slipped and fell so so that's how they explained it a bruises he slipped and fell off a boat we heard shit about that any other time this supposedly happened at 330 so Nolan slips and falls off a boat at 330 around the same time Warren's brother is biting and they trying to fix the blodge pump and all this bullshit what the fu who do y'all think we are all kind of pandemonium just all hell broke loose from the time of three to four thirty and then Nolan mysteriously drowned ain't that many coincidences in the motherfucking world all hell broke loose between the time of three to four thirty Nolan is nowhere to be found and we are to believe out of all this chaos he just mysteriously drowned but he didn't have nothing to do with all this chaos going on something happened to Nolan between 3 and 5 p.m period this may be one of the biggest cover ups in history and for this fucking country that's saying a loting about the the the the m the the with the influences trying to divide the country or divide no no no not divide the country I'm sorry divide their city ocean springs I feel sorry and my heart goes out to Nolan Wells mom I'm sorry y'all I give I give him I give her and her husband all the respect because my foot would be so far in somebody's ass this morning you wouldn't know where my foot began and where they ass started I don't like it this is the equivalent of if we have a criminal we got criminals on trial and then they're and then the whole grand jury is made up of the families of the criminals you feel what I'm saying this is the equivalent if we had some criminals on trial and then the whole grand jury is made up of all the families of the criminals and then they come back and say we didn't find shit I bet you did but for some strange reason y'all they can't find no evidence of foul play they can't find a lick of shit but for some strange reason they can find and come to the conclusion that Nolan drowned with no evidence listen to this y'all I want y'all to really really really tap into this they can't find any any evidence that Nolan Wells a foul of no foul play yet somehow they can come out and say Nolan Wells drowned with no evidence they haven't proven not one iota of a piece of shred of evidence that Nolan drowned yet that's the narrative they're pushing tell me whose side they on you just saying he drowned you ain't saying this proved he drowned uh uh we found this and we found that a witness saw this no nothing no proof of him drowning not nothing not no proof in that all those pages of that indictment yet you couldn't find no proof that it was foul play y'all we have to turn the heat up I don't give a fuck about no other stories going on right now I will get to their ass next week we have to flood social media with Nolan well shit this is bullshit share every piece of content y'all come across that's calling out Mississippi these Mississippi's raggedy ass system and then you drop this shit at fucking midnight on top of all the other weird shit going on Nolan slipped and fell oh so he was bruised how'd he get bruised Oh, uh at 330, he slipped and fell.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: At 330, he slipped and fell off a boat.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, so that's how he got bruised.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: He slipped and fell off a boat at 330, and we just not hearing about it.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Nobody else knew that Nolan slipped and fell and bruised it bruised itself up at 330.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: What the fuck was going on between 3 to 430 on the island?
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: We do not know the real story.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: So you telling me it's pure coincidence that Warren's brother was fighting and put somebody in the hardware.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: Trayson was fighting.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: Nolan slipped and but Nolan slipped and fell on a boat.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: That's how he got bruised.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: All at the same time.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: And the blast pump is just malfunctioning.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: It's like a full moon just came out at three o'clock on Horn Island.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: It's like the whole fucking matrix just went wacky from three o'clock to 430.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: Think about how silly that sounds.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: So everybody partying on the island, but from 3 to 4:30, Warren's brother gets into a fight, he punched him, he punched him, he put him in the R bar, Tracy arguing with somebody in water about how he's talking to this girl.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: The blodge pump is going crazy.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: They call it a sea toe call.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: All this shit happened.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: But we supposed to believe all this happened, but Nolan after this or whatever, just mysteriously drowned.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: There's nothing, no foul play.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Yet the whole fucking island is fighting.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: That whole fucking grand jury, DA can kick rocks in flip-flops with no socks.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Fuck them.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: What do that grand jury look like?
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: I bet you if they showed us a picture of the whole grand jury, we would be like, of course they didn't find no fucking evidence.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: You can't find something you're not looking for.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: You can't find something you're not looking for.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: He still stayed.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: It's like Horn Island just turned into Armageddon from three to four thirty.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: Does that make any fucking sense to anybody out here?
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: Then they say Nolan bought beer with a fake ID.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: He bought his own beer with a fake ID.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: They go so now they they they clearing themselves of saying anybody gave Nolan, they gave these kids alcoholic beverages.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: Nolan bought his own beer with a fake ID.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: He bought his own beer.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Nobody else bought the beer.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: Yet they always drinking the same beer.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: Officer Tatum should be sued for defamation.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Toxicology report says Nolan didn't have no fucking cocaine.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: So officer Tatum, Mr.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Potato Head.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: Officer Mr.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: Potato Head should be sued for defamation.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: I would be kicking so much ass that they would have to lock me up, y'all.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: For my son, oh I'm kicking everybody's ass.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: I don't give a fuck.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: And I'll drive myself to the prison.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: Lock me up for a while.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: But I had to do that.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: That's what I tell the judge.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Lock me up for a little while, but I had to kick ass.
- 27:08SPEAKER_02: I ain't never, man.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: This is some bull shit.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: This is some bull shit.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: Something happened with Nolan between three and four thirty.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: He didn't slip and fall on no fucking boat.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: So everybody was fighting.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: But Nolan slipped and fell on a boat at three thirty.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: And then he still stayed on the island and drowned.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: Man, man, ma'am.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: I think this pissed.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: I think I think even Grandma Kathy might be pissed.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: Where Grandma Kathy at?
- 28:20SPEAKER_02: She needs I wonder if she hear the news.
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: This this this uh thanks for chiming in, Miss V.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: Miss V says they show us over and over they don't care about us, they keep getting away with everything.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: Not surprised with the outcome, honestly.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm not surprised.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: Let me be clear about that.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: I'm not surprised at all.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: I picked my phone up, saw that with this, saw that the grand jury wasn't bringing no charges, and took my ass back to sleep.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: I wasn't surprised at all.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: I would have been surprised had they brought some charges, to be honest.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: Warren's mama, stepmamas, we don't know how much family involved in this shit.
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: But to determine he drowned with no evidence that he drowned is ridiculous.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: Exonerating people.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: Mississippi.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: The whole system is shit, and I don't even know why we still I would man, every every black person should move the fuck out of Mississippi, man.

- 30:23SPEAKER_01: I saw Jackson's Jackson, Mississippi's racist shit up front and personal.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: I would never live there.

- 30:42SPEAKER_01: I like I said, I've been there covering cases, fighting for justice right up in their fucking face, and I was like, I was looking around like I would never live here.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: Y'all talking about he slipped and fell, type of shit.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: Something happened, man.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: The more evidence that I'm getting, man, I feel like they did something to Nolan.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: They did something to Nolan.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: He he he he he was unalive in between the time of three and four thirty, and the cover-up started immediately.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: You're not gonna tell me that Warren's brother was fighting, Tracen was fighting, the blind pump was fucking up, the boat was sinking, uh Bart not uh Bart pulled up, and and then this crazy ass CETO call that they don't want to explain at all.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: They still haven't.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: Isn't it amazing how we hearing all this shit on the CETO call, and they they've managed to not even address it seriously.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: All this happened, and they said Nolan slipped and fell on the boat and bruised itself, but no foul play.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: No foul play.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: Today, social media needs to be flooded with Nolan Wells content.

- 35:25SPEAKER_01: They didn't leave.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: The boat didn't start moving until 4.30.

- 36:53SPEAKER_01: We can't let this go.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: Not for one second.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: Grand jury says no charges, no foul play, but somehow they can they can infer and come to the conclusion that Nolan Wells drowned.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Will we ever see his throat again?
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: Man, hold on.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: Was that was that was yesterday Nolan Wells my birthday for real?

- 40:28SPEAKER_01: Period.
- 40:38SPEAKER_01: All they cared about was trying to get us to believe that nobody did anything and and Nolan did all this on his own.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: He dropped, they got no proof, they got no proof, but they're they they they're trying to shove it down our throat that Nolan just drowned with no proof.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: He bought his own beer, he did everything himself.
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: He used a fake ID, brought his own beer, slipped and fell on a boat, and then just went somewhere, vanished, and drowned with nobody seeing him do any of any of it, any of the drowning.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: They didn't even see when he went, where he went.
- 41:25SPEAKER_01: Snatched his organs.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: This is sad.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: This is sad.
- 41:58SPEAKER_02: I feel for that mother, y'all?
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: And what boat did he slip and fall on?
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: Supposedly.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: What boat was it?
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Did he slip and fall on Bart's boat?
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: Which boat did he slip that which boat did Nolan Wells slip and fall on and bruise his body of in his head or whatever?
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: What boat was it?
- 42:39SPEAKER_02: Whose boat was it?
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: Man, it I do not want to believe this was her birthday, man.
- 43:01SPEAKER_01: I gotta look on Facebook.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: What is her what's her page?
- 43:04SPEAKER_02: I mean, uh is her page under her name?
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: What spell her name, y'all?
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: What what is her is her Facebook page under her name.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: Right, Elise?
- 43:59SPEAKER_01: According to Well we heard Nolan didn't get him no boat.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: So you mean to tell me everybody was leaving and he just got off the boat, slipped, and fell?
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm trying to that that's so heartbreaking.
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: I I I just want to look for it myself before I put it out there.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: I'm just trying to look at her page myself herself before I put it out there.
- 44:22SPEAKER_01: But if that was her birthday, man, these are some devils.
- 44:42SPEAKER_04: Exhausted investigation.
- 44:46SPEAKER_04: Jackson County.
- 44:47SPEAKER_04: After a file that is transparency.
- 44:53SPEAKER_04: Transparency exists in following the law, abiding by it, having reverence for it, respecting the process, and having the discipline and restraint to allow the process to take place, even when there is public pressure to prematurely speak.
- 45:09SPEAKER_04: And before I say anything else about what happened in this case, I want to acknowledge something I will never lose sight of.
- 45:18SPEAKER_04: I know what it is to bury a child.
- 45:21SPEAKER_04: You are vulnerable in ways that are incomprehensible to people who have never stood there.
- 45:27SPEAKER_04: You want answers.
- 45:29SPEAKER_04: You want something to make sense.
- 45:31SPEAKER_04: You want to know why?
- 45:33SPEAKER_04: Why my child?
- 45:34SPEAKER_04: Why my baby?
- 45:35SPEAKER_04: Why now?
- 45:36SPEAKER_04: Why this way?
- 45:37SPEAKER_04: And oftentimes more than anything, you want something or someone that you can hold responsible.
- 45:43SPEAKER_04: You are trying to make sense of something that is absolutely senseless.
- 45:48SPEAKER_04: I understand that.
- 45:50SPEAKER_04: And I believe grieving parents should be given grace and space to grieve.
- 45:56SPEAKER_04: What I cannot accept, and what I cannot ignore, is that false narratives that Nolan's death was somehow racially motivated, and that this is a case of another young black man denied justice by a racist, corrupt system, were perpetuated and allowed to spread.
- 46:14SPEAKER_04: There's not a shred of evidence to support these narratives.
- 46:17SPEAKER_04: Keep in mind all that has transpired publicly as you review the grand jury report and the correspondence I'm releasing in conjunction with this statement.
- 46:28SPEAKER_04: For example, on July 15, 2026, Nolan's family and the Crump team were shown evidence of Nolan purchasing his own alcohol.
- 46:37SPEAKER_04: But that fact they chose not to share with the public.
- 46:41SPEAKER_04: From our first meeting, I extended an open offer to provide the grand jury with any evidence whatsoever that the family wanted them to have, including the finding.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna pause it right there.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: What DA says um the Nolan Wells family was shown evidence of Nolan Wells purchasing alcohol, and the family chose not to share that.
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: Purchasing beer.
- 47:07SPEAKER_01: That right there, what the fuck do the what the fuck do they have to do with the grand jury?
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: The parents don't have to say, hey y'all, Nolan Wells bought beer.
- 47:19SPEAKER_01: That's type of shit I'm talking about.
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: This is not professional at all.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: He's throwing shots while you're trying to tell us what the grand tell us what the grand jury including the findings and testimony of their independent medical examiner.
- 47:37SPEAKER_04: This is not a practice unique to the Nolan Wells case, but this is how I have always conducted business as your prosecutor.
- 47:44SPEAKER_04: On August 13th, 2026, after the Crump team conducted and released the results of its independent autopsy, and after receiving hundreds of tips, they advised my office that they had no evidence of a crime being committed against Nolan Wells.
- 47:58SPEAKER_04: Just this weekend, I read where a congresswoman had met with Nolan's family and the Crump team and said that Nolan Wells is another black boy murdered and no one seems to care.
- 48:10SPEAKER_04: Ma'am, you are wrong.
- 48:12SPEAKER_04: The Crump team knows this and knows that they are dealing with a district attorney whose unwavering pursuit of the truth gave them all a seat at the table to offer the grand jury any and every piece of evidence they deemed important to this investigation.
- 48:26SPEAKER_04: Keep in mind that this meeting with the congresswoman was after the Crump team advised my office they had discovered no evidence of a crime against Nolan.
- 48:36SPEAKER_04: And understand that our investigation was exhaustive.
- 48:41SPEAKER_04: And our complete investigation was presented to the grand jury.
- 48:45SPEAKER_04: Also, I want you to understand that I'm not suggesting that a grieving mother police the rumors surrounding her child's death.
- 48:52SPEAKER_04: What I am suggesting is that the crump team knew better but did not do better.
- 48:58SPEAKER_04: I am giving you the opportunity.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: The crump team knew better but didn't do better.
- 49:05SPEAKER_01: Bitch, what that got to do with the grand jury?
- 49:09SPEAKER_01: The crump team is not the crump team is not responsible for investigating this case.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: The crump team is not responsible for bringing charges or any of that.
- 49:26SPEAKER_01: What the fuck do the crump team knew better but didn't do better have to do with what the fuck your job is?
- 49:43SPEAKER_02: You think you read between the lines?
- 49:47SPEAKER_04: I am giving you the opportunity to see for yourself what was communicated between my office and the prompt team.
- 49:54SPEAKER_04: Releasing the correspondence I sent during the investigation is the written record that provides the clearest account of those interactions.
- 50:02SPEAKER_04: From the beginning, I told Nolan's family that our goal was the same, to find out what happened to Nolan Wells.
- 50:10SPEAKER_04: This is and has always been a search for the truth.
- 50:13SPEAKER_04: No narrative, no agenda, no politics, nothing personal, just the truth.
- 50:19SPEAKER_04: One of the most prevalent false narratives was that my office refused to cooperate and/or obstructed a mutual examination with the prompt team of Nolan's cell phone.
- 50:28SPEAKER_04: This could not be further from the truth.
- 50:31SPEAKER_04: You must first understand that the state of Mississippi had no legal avenue to seize and search Nolan's cell phone.
- 50:39SPEAKER_04: Nolan's family received that phone in the very early morning hours of July 5th, and it continues to remain in their possession.
- 50:49SPEAKER_04: Nolan's family and the Crump team have always been in complete control of Nolan's cell phone, including when, where, how, and if the phone would be examined by the state.
- 51:02SPEAKER_04: During our July 15th, 2026 meeting, I accepted the Crump team's offer to participate in a mutual examination of Nolan's cell phone.
- 51:11SPEAKER_04: I remained willing to do so and agreeable to any conditions the family wished to impose.
- 51:17SPEAKER_04: Again, this truth about Nolan's phone was not shared with the public.
- 51:22SPEAKER_04: When the extraction did not happen within a reasonable time, I reached out to get the ball rolling.
- 51:28SPEAKER_04: We could not wait on the Crump team.
- 51:31SPEAKER_04: I could not allow this investigation to be delayed, especially as tensions rose, false information exploded, and threats and harassment continued to escalate.
- 51:43SPEAKER_04: Unbeknownst to me, the family was out of town at that time.
- 51:46SPEAKER_04: Their attorneys reached out, and we subsequently set up a time and place for an extraction to occur.
- 51:54SPEAKER_04: On the morning of the agreed upon extraction date, our law enforcement investigators were contacted by privately retained examiners with Garrett Discovery Inc., advising that the mutual phone extraction would not occur, as they had begun a private extraction the evening prior and it was incomplete.
- 52:13SPEAKER_04: I respected the family's decision for a private examination and requested that they share those results with my office.
- 52:22SPEAKER_04: On August 28th, 2026, the Crump team advised that I would receive the extraction data by FedEx within 48 hours and provided a 14-page preliminary report indicating the phone had not been accessed by anyone other than Nolan's family, and nothing had been deleted off of the phone since Nolan's last use.
- 52:44SPEAKER_04: I never received the full extraction data as promised, and I never received a complete extraction report of Nolan's cell phone.
- 52:52SPEAKER_04: After the grand jury convened in this case, the Crump team provided a 282-page selection of reports from Nolan's cell phone, which the grand jury considered.
- 53:05SPEAKER_04: From the beginning, I advised the family that I would present the report of their independent medical examiner and welcomed his testimony before the grand jury.
- 53:13SPEAKER_04: I again extended an invitation to the family's independent medical examiner to come to Mississippi to examine and review whatever he needed to.
- 53:22SPEAKER_04: Dr.
- 53:22SPEAKER_04: Roger Mitchell accepted my invitation to come to Mississippi and examine Nolan's internal throat structures at the Mississippi Forensic Laboratory.
- 53:31SPEAKER_04: Dr.
- 53:32SPEAKER_04: Mitchell spent August 30th through September 1st in Mississippi.
- 53:37SPEAKER_04: I allowed him to have full access to the complete investigative file.
- 53:43SPEAKER_04: We took him to Horn Island, showing him various GPS locations relevant in this case.
- 53:49SPEAKER_04: And of course, he met with our chief medical examiner.
- 53:52SPEAKER_04: He physically examined Nolan's internal throat structures and he requested additional histological slides.
- 54:00SPEAKER_04: Once the histological slides had been prepared, my office shipped them overnight for Dr.
- 54:05SPEAKER_04: Mitchell's review.
- 54:07SPEAKER_04: Dr.
- 54:07SPEAKER_04: Mitchell subsequently testified before war grand jury in this matter.
- 54:12SPEAKER_04: Another false narrative is that I kept the results of Nolan's autopsy and toxicology from his family.
- 54:18SPEAKER_04: This is false.
- 54:19SPEAKER_04: Shortly after I received the autopsy report, I reached out to Nolan's mother directly.
- 54:25SPEAKER_04: And when she did not respond, I spoke with one of her Mississippi attorneys and shared Nolan's autopsy and toxicology results.
- 54:32SPEAKER_04: My abiding by the law and not releasing the autopsy and toxicology results to the public in no way impeded Nolan's family or the Crump team from obtaining the results and a copy of the results pursuant to the law.
- 54:47SPEAKER_04: Here again, another narrative allowed to flourish when my hands were tied in responding.
- 54:53SPEAKER_04: The Crump team knew better, but allowed the public to believe, among other false narratives, that our medical examiner withheld Nolan's lungs and stomach when his body was released, that things had been deleted off of Nolan's phone before it was given back to his family, that I refused to cooperate with the examination of Nolan's cell phone, that I refused to provide Nolan's autopsy results to the family.
- 55:20SPEAKER_04: All lies, and they knew it.
- 55:22SPEAKER_04: Today, anyone with an internet connection can become an influencer, take fragments of information, construct a narrative without context or first-hand knowledge, and broadcast it to thousands or millions of people with little or no responsibility to the truth or consequences for what they do.
- 55:42SPEAKER_04: Likes, shares, follows, subscriptions, and dollars have become more important than the truth.
- 55:48SPEAKER_04: There was a time when having a public voice came with responsibility and having to earn your place on the platform.
- 55:58SPEAKER_01: Now let's just be honest.
- 55:59SPEAKER_01: Does this sound like someone being fair?
- 56:02SPEAKER_01: She don't here talking about it sounds like it's us against them.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: This doesn't sound like an unbiased uh district attorney just putting out the facts.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: This sounds like it's it's her, it's it's the DA against Nolan Wells.
- 56:24SPEAKER_01: It's like the it's like she's she she's throwing mud on Crump for no reason.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: You got a job, do your job.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: Tell us what y'all did.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: Describe to us your investigation and what y'all saw.
- 56:39SPEAKER_01: Why is she so concerned with downing Ben Ben Crump and his team?
- 56:47SPEAKER_01: Why is she so concerned with trying to downplay and downgrade and down influencers?
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: You a whole ass district attorney whose job is to find the truth and get justice.
- 57:01SPEAKER_01: This sound, you she sounds like a fucking uh uh influencer right now, just spewing her own opinion and rhetoric and putting out the whatever narrative she wants to put out.
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: She's just like Warren and all she's the victim.
- 57:27SPEAKER_01: Everybody, according to her, Warren, the rest of the people, the whole all the all those let me watch my mouth because I'm pissed, y'all.
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: But everybody's a victim except for Nolan when it comes to these fuckers.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: Y'all notice that?
- 57:47SPEAKER_01: Did she is she a victim?
- 57:52SPEAKER_01: But Nolan, the only one dead.
- 57:57SPEAKER_01: Yet she wants us to feel sorry for her because influencers are getting clicks and likes.
- 58:10SPEAKER_04: What we have seen happen in Nolan's case, where lives and reputations have been damaged, is reprehensible.
- 58:18SPEAKER_04: People have suffered, public offices have been harassed, victims, witnesses, public officials, others who are all right.
- 58:28SPEAKER_01: She's talking about people have been harassed.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: Nolan Wells is dead.
- 58:34SPEAKER_01: I don't care how much you try to spend this and make you and your comrades, your cronies, this this fucking posse.
- 58:45SPEAKER_01: I don't care how much you try.
- 58:47SPEAKER_01: It's not they ain't dead.
- 58:49SPEAKER_01: We got one person here who dead, Nolan Wells.
- 58:52SPEAKER_01: I don't give a fuck who talking about somebody getting harassed.
- 58:56SPEAKER_01: Nolan, I I bet you Nolan's mom wish like hell Nolan was here to get to be a rat at least be harassed.
- 59:04SPEAKER_01: The fact that you got the ability to be harassed means your ass is still alive, and I don't give a fuck about it.
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: I want to hear about Nolan Wells in his case and getting justice.
- 59:16SPEAKER_01: I don't give a fuck about somebody's feelings being hurt.
- 59:22SPEAKER_01: Because if they feelings being hurt, that means it's still breath in their lungs, it's still a beat to their heart, their blood is still flowing, their brain is still thinking.
- 59:34SPEAKER_01: You can't get me to feel sorry for no nobody except Nolan Wells and his mama and daddy right now.
- 59:48SPEAKER_04: We do not have laws that adequately protect people from the conduct we've seen or punish those who engage in it.
- 59:57SPEAKER_04: The right to speak your mind and give an opinion about any matter you desire is not without responsibility, accountability, and consequences.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_04: I call on our federal and state legislators to pass constitutionally sound legislation to ensure that what we have seen in this case never happens again.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: Now she calling on federal people to come down on influencers and journalists, but she ain't calling the feds to come in here, come down and see what the fuck really happened.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_01: It's all about them, entitled motherfuckers.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_04: As long as there are humans on the planet, there will be hate.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_04: That is not unique to Mississippi.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_04: It is unique to the human heart.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_04: We have seen that hate directed at our community based on false narratives, lies, rumors, and wildly irresponsible speculation.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_04: The lies that were meant to destroy and divide our community have instead reminded us of who Y'all, she's been talking for about seven, eight minutes trying to get us to feel sorry for them.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_01: She spent fucking it's a fifteen minute video.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_01: She spent about twelve minutes being a victim.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_01: When we only got one victim in this case, no people have no shade.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_01: She's been the whole time going shade to Big Crumb, shade to Nolan Wales, shade to the influencers, and victimizer herself.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_01: They don't give a fuck about Nolan Wales.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_01: That's what basically translation.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_01: Ocean Springs gonna look out for Ocean Springs.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_01: That was what all this was about.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_01: She spent the whole time telling us about how they've been harassed and how influencers is making up lies and and and and all type of shit.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_01: She spent about two seconds talking about the evidence in the Nolan Wells case.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, y'all, we got work to do.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_01: Y'all meet me on Instagram, FlowDaddyFlow.
