- 0:18Speaker 4: I will give you a show like you have never,
- 0:23Speaker 4: ever seen before. Why?
- 0:24Speaker 5: Because I can.
- 0:26Speaker 2: What do you guys want to talk about? I am
- 0:39Speaker 2: the B-E-S-T. Me and the color red in a world
- 0:47Speaker 2: full of black and white.
- 0:48Speaker 6: I am the eater of worlds.
- 1:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 2: If you're some man, come on. And now it's me,
- 1:03Speaker 2: the champ. But to be the man, you got to
- 1:12Speaker 2: beat the man. And I'm saying, whoo, right here.
- 1:16Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:17Speaker 2: The best there is, the best there was, and the
- 1:25Speaker 2: best there ever will be.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gentlemen of all ages,
- 1:34Speaker 6: welcome back to another episode of PCW Podcast Championship Wrestling.
- 1:39Speaker 6: My name is Wayne, also known as Semi-Dry Chicken. Episode 128.
- 1:43Speaker 6: We have a lot to cover. I know it's been
- 1:46Speaker 6: a minute, but, you know, we're always, we're busy and
- 1:49Speaker 6: trying to get us all together. That was the issue,
- 1:51Speaker 6: and I've been doing a lot of traveling. I've been here,
- 1:54Speaker 6: I've been there. Actually, I went north this time. I
- 1:57Speaker 6: went up to Massachusetts, Rhode Island. I did a couple places.
- 2:04Speaker 6: But in the meantime, PLEs were happening. Smackdown Rawls were happening.
- 2:09Speaker 6: And I tried to catch up as much as I could,
- 2:11Speaker 6: as fast as I could on the road. And just
- 2:15Speaker 6: trying to get us all aligned together to do a
- 2:18Speaker 6: recap of Money in the Bank. Just didn't seem worth
- 2:21Speaker 6: it at the time. We thought, we can hold off.
- 2:25Speaker 6: And this is that episode. We have so much to cover.
- 2:28Speaker 6: We have This Day in History to cover. We have
- 2:32Speaker 6: some news on Money in the Bank. Where the hell
- 2:35Speaker 6: is Crown Jewel going to be? I don't know. We'll
- 2:37Speaker 6: talk about that too. Somebody's having a baby.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Who is it?
- 2:42Speaker 6: I'll tell you. We have a lot of crap to
- 2:46Speaker 6: talk about. Somebody's sick and out again. We're going to
- 2:50Speaker 6: talk about who's holding the briefcases and how long that's
- 2:53Speaker 6: going to be going on for. That and more. But
- 2:57Speaker 6: let me introduce my co-host... Oh, welcome back to the show, Dre.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yo, yo, what it do, PCW crew?
- 3:40Speaker 6: What are you eating this episode? Are you eating anything?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Eh, just a chicken sandwich.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Chicken sandwich.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Trying to keep my protein up.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Alright.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Alright.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Uh, let's bring out our other co-hosts. And returning to
- 4:21Speaker 6: the show, Doyle!
- 4:25Speaker 5: Oh, it's me, it's me, it's me, it's me.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Uh, and I already ate.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Oh, nice.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Smart. I had a big-ass cassadilla. It was big. It
- 4:36Speaker 5: was too much, and I wanted to fall asleep.
- 4:38Speaker 6: Oh, what? A cassadilla? A cassadilla. Cassadilla. Did you make
- 4:47Speaker 6: it yourself, or did you go somewhere to get it?
- 4:51Speaker 5: I made it myself.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Oh, I believe you. I believe that it was good.
- 4:57Speaker 6: And then you got Dre over there eating a chicken sandwich.
- 5:01Speaker 6: I'm just drinking an energy drink tonight. And I got
- 5:05Speaker 6: my gallon of water. That's it. No food. No munchies.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You know?
- 5:11Speaker 6: All right. I got to talk about something. We're going
- 5:15Speaker 6: to do this day in history. Well, this week in history.
- 5:18Speaker 6: This is this new segment I've been bringing up the
- 5:19Speaker 6: past two episodes, three episodes. Gonna make it consistent. What
- 5:26Speaker 6: has gone on in pro wrestling history this week? Do
- 5:31Speaker 6: I have a bumper? I might have a bumper. Let's see.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Okay.
- 5:35Speaker 6: I was into that. Yeah, yeah, right? And cut it short.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Headlining story. Bret Hart retires October 28, 2000. Bret, the
- 5:56Speaker 6: Hitman Hart, officially announces retirement from professional wrestling due to
- 6:00Speaker 6: a concussion-related injury. He suffered during his WCW run. What
- 6:05Speaker 6: makes this so historic is that most fans at the
- 6:08Speaker 6: time didn't realize it had already... Seeing Bret's last match,
- 6:13Speaker 6: his retirement statement thanked fans, wrestlers, and his father, Stu Hart,
- 6:18Speaker 6: while acknowledging that doctors advised against any return to the ring.
- 6:24Speaker 6: One of the greatest technical wrestlers in history officially called
- 6:27Speaker 6: his career this week in 2000, ending an era for
- 6:30Speaker 6: the entire generation of wrestling fans. Moving on, Halloween Havoc Season.
- 6:37Speaker 6: October 28th, 1989, WCW presented its very first Halloween Havoc pay-per-view.
- 6:44Speaker 6: This main event featured Ric Flair and Sting versus Terry
- 6:47Speaker 6: Funk and the Great Muda inside the infamous Thunderdome cage match.
- 6:54Speaker 6: If WrestleMania is WWE's spring tradition, Halloween Havoc was WCW's
- 7:00Speaker 6: answer every October. major title changes.
- 7:06Speaker 8: This week was the electric chair match was that a
- 7:09Speaker 8: Halloween Havoc.
- 7:11Speaker 6: The electric chair.
- 7:12Speaker 8: It might have been it was like where they throw
- 7:16Speaker 8: Abdul the Butcher in this electric chair and the fireworks
- 7:19Speaker 8: go off.
- 7:20Speaker 5: It's horrible I think Foley was in it.
- 7:23Speaker 8: I think the Steiners were in it Sting was in
- 7:26Speaker 8: it I think the.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Stinger might have been in there it was just a
- 7:29Speaker 5: fucking mess.
- 7:31Speaker 4: I can't remember if that was Halloween Havoc or not
- 7:34Speaker 4: It might have been, but I can't remember, honestly.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess that's something I got to go check out.
- 7:41Speaker 6: I didn't watch a lot of WCW stuff, but that
- 7:43Speaker 6: sounds crazy. I mean, it was definitely a different time.
- 7:48Speaker 5: It is crazy. It's bad. It's bad. It's like the room. Right.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Okay. That was it. I'll have to check that out.
- 7:57Speaker 1: All right.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Major WWE title changes that happened this week. Big Show
- 8:03Speaker 6: defeated Sheamus for the world title in 2012. Shayna Baszler
- 8:09Speaker 6: defeated Kairi Sane to regain the NXT Women's Championship in 2018.
- 8:15Speaker 6: Johnny Gargano won the NXT North American Championship in 2020.
- 8:21Speaker 6: If I'm not mistaken, that might be like the last
- 8:23Speaker 6: title I think he won too. And Eminem. If you
- 8:29Speaker 6: remember who Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro were, they won
- 8:32Speaker 6: the WWE Tag Team titles in 2005. Wrestling birthdays this week.
- 8:40Speaker 6: A few notable names celebrating birthdays around October 28th. You
- 8:45Speaker 6: have MVP, Christy Hemi, Rocky Romero, and Alex Zane. That's
- 8:56Speaker 6: really it. That's all I got for This Week in
- 8:59Speaker 6: Wrestling History. You know what? Just because Doyle liked it,
- 9:02Speaker 6: I'm going to play it one more time. Yep, and
- 9:13Speaker 6: it just ends. It cuts it short, man.
- 9:17Speaker 5: It just got me mid-Lindy hop.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Right? Alright. Okay, so while we were gone, WWE had
- 9:25Speaker 6: Money in the Bank. I did the predictions, and boy,
- 9:29Speaker 6: was I off. I guess I was thinking the most obvious, right?
- 9:34Speaker 6: I was like, ooh, Bron Breaker for the men's. And
- 9:38Speaker 6: I know I've been pitching Trick Williams for the longest time.
- 9:46Speaker 6: And what a surprise that we got. Same with the women's.
- 9:52Speaker 6: I really thought Roxanne Perez was for it. I thought
- 9:55Speaker 6: the storyline was all there. But, no, they want the
- 10:00Speaker 6: safe bet, I guess, and Tiffany Stratton.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Yeah, and it already sucks.
- 10:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, these continuous failed cash-ins, you know, is
- 10:16Speaker 6: this going to be a thing every week? You know, this.
- 10:23Speaker 6: You know overall there's two ladder matches I mean they were.
- 10:25Speaker 8: Pretty good oh go ahead the worst is when they
- 10:29Speaker 8: can't figure out how to let go of the briefcase
- 10:33Speaker 8: they hand it to the referee the referee grabs it
- 10:34Speaker 8: and they just stand there muttering to each other for
- 10:38Speaker 8: two minutes while just like oh.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Well well Well, this week, Tiffany Stratton, you know, when
- 10:46Speaker 6: she tried to cash in on Liv, she's talking to
- 10:49Speaker 6: the ref, and the ref's like, no, you have to
- 10:51Speaker 6: hit her with the briefcase. And she goes, oh, okay,
- 10:54Speaker 6: turns around, hits her with the briefcase, then gives it
- 10:56Speaker 6: back to her. It was just blatantly obvious. But yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 6: the whole, like, you know, giving it to the ref,
- 11:02Speaker 6: are you sure? Are you sure? Yeah, that's why I'm
- 11:04Speaker 6: fucking here. Like, yes, I'm sure.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Like.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Uh, maybe next time go out and cash in the
- 11:11Speaker 4: briefcase first, then hit your fucking finisher on them.
- 11:15Speaker 6: Yeah. But, uh, I mean, I, I, I enjoyed both
- 11:23Speaker 6: of those ladder matches. Uh, you know, the triple threat
- 11:27Speaker 6: match is, was what it was, you know, for the
- 11:30Speaker 6: women's title. Um, of course, Oba versus Bronson was entertaining
- 11:36Speaker 6: seeing just two, big-ass men just throwing each other around.
- 11:41Speaker 6: And Roman Reigns and LA Knight was an interesting match.
- 11:45Speaker 6: You know? So far, it was an alright pay-per-view. It's just...
- 11:52Speaker 6: When I got the results of who got the briefcases,
- 11:55Speaker 6: I was like, oh, okay. This is where we're going
- 11:57Speaker 6: with this. I'm on board for Penta.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You know? I just.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Tiffany Stratton, I kind of scrapped my head with. It's like,
- 12:06Speaker 6: are we running back the Nia Jax storyline where she
- 12:10Speaker 6: cashes in on her friend and you know but god
- 12:14Speaker 6: damn if they didn't get me convinced this this past
- 12:17Speaker 6: week or so that she was going to cash in
- 12:19Speaker 6: on Liv and we could have gotten Chelsea Green versus
- 12:22Speaker 6: Tiffany Strand title and title at Crown Jewel but you
- 12:27Speaker 6: know thoughts?
- 12:33Speaker 5: You have to be laughs laughs.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Uh It was a decent show cursed by bad booking.
- 12:41Speaker 6: I feel like.
- 12:45Speaker 5: I've already forgotten everything about this show.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I have forgotten most of it.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I mean, the biggest thing out of the biggest story
- 12:53Speaker 4: of the show was all the booking decisions. Of course,
- 12:58Speaker 4: none of the matches themselves were bad, but it was
- 13:02Speaker 4: a decent show ruined by terrible booking choices from them.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Money in the Bank briefcase winners, aside from Penta. I mean,
- 13:10Speaker 4: Penta was probably a decent choice because he's white hot
- 13:14Speaker 4: right now. But yeah, Tiffy over Roxanne was a terrible choice.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Especially when the story is, as we said, the story
- 13:24Speaker 4: is right there with Roxanne as Money in the Bank.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Instead, they know.
- 13:28Speaker 4: They decide, no, let's rehash the same shit from two
- 13:30Speaker 4: years ago. Do that lame-ass storyline again. On somebody who
- 13:37Speaker 4: quite frankly, isn't as hot or as interesting as Roxanne
- 13:40Speaker 4: is right now.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I think they.
- 13:43Speaker 8: Think they can do the Roxanne-Liv thing without the briefcase.
- 13:48Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 13:48Speaker 8: I think they're still going to do that. I think
- 13:54Speaker 8: their thinking was, we already have this story.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Why? It doesn't need the briefcase.
- 13:58Speaker 8: But that's still like, well, Kathy's the most boring person
- 14:01Speaker 8: you could have put it on.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Anybody else would have been more interesting.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean... Yeah, I think... Well, would you want
- 14:16Speaker 6: to see... Are we really... Are we going to pick
- 14:20Speaker 6: the obvious where Penta's going to snatch it off of Sammy?
- 14:23Speaker 6: Or are we going to see Penta get it off
- 14:27Speaker 6: of Roman?
- 14:29Speaker 1: He ain't getting it off Roman.
- 14:31Speaker 6: You don't think so? That'd be a hell of a question.
- 14:32Speaker 8: I wouldn't be surprised if I wouldn't be surprised if
- 14:36Speaker 8: he does the baby face thing and, you know, says,
- 14:40Speaker 8: I want to catch him at the next.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Pay-per-view, you know, like calls his shot kind of thing.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Doesn't do the, doesn't do the run in on somebody
- 14:46Speaker 8: after they've just gotten their ass kicked by somebody else.
- 14:49Speaker 5: I wouldn't, it wouldn't surprise me if he does the,
- 14:52Speaker 5: does the honorable thing. If you, as, as you will,
- 14:55Speaker 5: if you will. Yeah. But I mean, you.
- 15:00Speaker 8: Got to think that somebody that's going to, whoever takes
- 15:03Speaker 8: that title off of Roman has to be, a monumental.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Occurrence, right? Is Tenta that? I don't know.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 15:15Speaker 4: We already know that right now, the biggest match that
- 15:20Speaker 4: WWE can book right now, they're saving it for WrestleMania.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Nobody knows what that match is.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Femi versus Roman Reigns. That's the moneymaker right there.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 15:37Speaker 4: That's the biggest match WWE can possibly book right now.
- 15:41Speaker 4: And since they did do it at SummerSlam, they're going
- 15:44Speaker 4: to save it for WrestleMania. Roman ain't losing that title
- 15:49Speaker 4: to WrestleMania.
- 15:51Speaker 6: Could Oba be that guy following the same path as
- 15:57Speaker 6: Brock Lesnar? This man wins King of the Ring. He
- 16:00Speaker 6: wins the Royal Rumble. And then he goes to a
- 16:03Speaker 6: big PLE and beats.
- 16:07Speaker 6: Well, I guess Roman Reigns.
- 16:11Speaker 1: If it had happened at SummerSlam, I would say yes.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Oh, but SummerSlam.
- 16:15Speaker 4: They seem to be dragging this thing out so much longer.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 4: And the fact that he still ain't done shit with
- 16:22Speaker 4: his fucking King of the Ring, I'm gonna say no.
- 16:25Speaker 6: It's just a constant fucking reminder that, hey, we gave
- 16:29Speaker 6: this guy the crown, but never the title shot. Never
- 16:32Speaker 6: the title match.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Okay, I.
- 16:35Speaker 8: I thought he gave up his title shot for the
- 16:38Speaker 8: Lesnar match.
- 16:43Speaker 4: They never fully clarified it. Like, they made it seem
- 16:45Speaker 4: like that was the case at the time. Like, he
- 16:47Speaker 4: gave up at that to get the match with Lesnar.
- 16:50Speaker 4: But then they keep bringing up the fact that he was,
- 16:54Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure, I thought they brought it back up
- 16:56Speaker 4: again afterwards that he still had it. I know they
- 16:59Speaker 4: still mention the fact that he's king of the ring,
- 17:01Speaker 4: but What's the point of mentioning the fact that he's
- 17:04Speaker 4: king of the ring if he doesn't get the title
- 17:06Speaker 4: shot anymore? You're basically just reminding everybody of a dumbass
- 17:09Speaker 4: decision y'all made.
- 17:10Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Every week. Well, they still announce him as the king
- 17:15Speaker 6: of the ring winner when he comes out. Like I said,
- 17:19Speaker 6: just a constant reminder. Oh, yeah, that's right. Guy gives
- 17:24Speaker 6: up title matches.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Who is queen of the ring? I can't even remember.
- 17:32Speaker 6: EO.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Nobody else can. EO.
- 17:37Speaker 6: EO is EO.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Remember she won and then she beat Liv Morgan to
- 17:43Speaker 4: become Queen of the Ring and then immediately said, Liv Morgan,
- 17:46Speaker 4: I'm challenging you for your title.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Right, right, right, right, right.
- 17:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Remember that? And lost. Dumbass booking decision.
- 17:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Not EO, but putting Liv Morgan the champion in the
- 17:57Speaker 4: finals of the Queen of the Ring.
- 18:00Speaker 6: So, with Penta being the Money in the Bank briefcase holder... Well,
- 18:08Speaker 6: first off, let me just say his briefcase is fucking awesome.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Shoots fucking fireworks out the sides. Like, I don't know
- 18:14Speaker 6: how the hell he gets that through customs when he
- 18:16Speaker 6: has to go anywhere and travel, but that's fucking awesome.
- 18:19Speaker 6: And I know that they sell replicas on WWE Shop Zone,
- 18:25Speaker 6: and I heard they're backed up until February.
- 18:28Speaker 5: So.
- 18:31Speaker 6: That could be a clear sign that they might also
- 18:33Speaker 6: just keep it around. I mean, maybe that's why Tiffany
- 18:36Speaker 6: Stratton got the briefcase as well. It's because of merch.
- 18:40Speaker 5: You know?
- 18:40Speaker 4: Because it would have required some actual effort to come
- 18:45Speaker 4: up with a version for Roxanne. Whereas Tiffany, they could
- 18:49Speaker 4: just go pink!
- 18:50Speaker 6: There you go.
- 18:51Speaker 1: There you go, man.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Pink. You're absolutely right, though. Fucking boring safe move, but
- 18:59Speaker 6: Maybe that's why I think they'll probably take the briefcase
- 19:02Speaker 6: off of her first before they do Penta. Penta, they're
- 19:05Speaker 6: going to make money with that briefcase and him coming
- 19:08Speaker 6: out with that thing. And, you know, just the temptation.
- 19:12Speaker 5: Technically, you have a year, right?
- 19:15Speaker 6: Yeah, you technically have a year. So it's not like
- 19:18Speaker 6: we have to have this. Yeah, we don't have to have.
- 19:21Speaker 6: It could be the summer of Penta for all we know.
- 19:23Speaker 6: We're just, you know, let's just let it go. I,
- 19:28Speaker 6: Penta is one we can put on the back burner,
- 19:30Speaker 6: and let him hold on to that for a while,
- 19:32Speaker 6: you know, let a, let a heel that we don't
- 19:35Speaker 6: like win a title, and then have Penta go in there,
- 19:37Speaker 6: snatch it the fuck up, I mean, Sami Zayn obviously
- 19:41Speaker 6: would be a great person for that, but I'd rather wait,
- 19:45Speaker 6: I'd rather wait, let's see Tiffany get rid of that
- 19:48Speaker 6: briefcase first, because I feel like we all know where
- 19:51Speaker 6: that's heading, and let's just get it done and over with,
- 19:54Speaker 6: if that's the case. If it's going to be her
- 19:56Speaker 6: and Chelsea Green, then just do it. One of them
- 20:00Speaker 6: turns heel, she turns heel, or they just shake and
- 20:04Speaker 6: hug and cry, and they're best friends. That's what we'll get.
- 20:08Speaker 6: We'll get one of the two, right?
- 20:12Speaker 4: Honestly, I don't think Penta's going to hold that briefcase
- 20:16Speaker 4: as long as you are thinking.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Really?
- 20:18Speaker 5: Okay.
- 20:19Speaker 6: I want to hear your take.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I think Penta will probably cash in... He might cash
- 20:25Speaker 4: in before the end of the year.
- 20:28Speaker 6: What?
- 20:29Speaker 1: The only reason why.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and my thinking behind this is because of the
- 20:35Speaker 4: Royal Rumble.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Okay. Penta... If Penta is.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Not a champion then it'd be hard to keep him
- 20:48Speaker 4: out of the royal rumble match but it also doesn't
- 20:51Speaker 4: make sense for him to be mr money in the
- 20:54Speaker 4: bank and a competitor in the royal rumble like what
- 21:00Speaker 4: are you trying to double up on your title shots.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Like yeah that doesn't make sense.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Why not right yeah i would i would try to
- 21:09Speaker 6: get myself into like a Yeah, I exactly tried to
- 21:12Speaker 6: win the Rumble, and then.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that Liv Morgan, let me win the Queen
- 21:18Speaker 4: of the Ring as a champion logic.
- 21:21Speaker 6: That's right, man.
- 21:24Speaker 1: To me, it don't make sense. Okay. Maybe as a
- 21:28Speaker 1: selfish individual thinking within the universe, oh yeah, let me
- 21:31Speaker 1: do that.
- 21:31Speaker 4: But to me, from a booking standpoint, it doesn't make
- 21:35Speaker 4: any sense. To have your buddy in a briefcase winner
- 21:39Speaker 4: also competing to win the Royal Rumble... For the same
- 21:42Speaker 4: thing that he already has. Which is a guaranteed title shot.
- 21:48Speaker 6: Right.
- 21:49Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense.
- 21:49Speaker 4: So if he's not going to be in the Royal
- 21:53Speaker 4: Rumble match, how do you keep him out of the
- 21:57Speaker 4: Royal Rumble? In other words, how do you keep him
- 21:59Speaker 4: out of the Royal Rumble match? To me, though, the
- 22:02Speaker 4: best way to do that, the most sensible way to
- 22:03Speaker 4: do that is for him to already be champion and
- 22:06Speaker 4: be defending the title at the Rumble against somebody. So
- 22:13Speaker 4: that's what makes me think he may cash in before
- 22:16Speaker 4: the end of the year. Maybe as a way to
- 22:20Speaker 4: close out, you know, 2026 with a bang, you close
- 22:25Speaker 4: out with Penta as your new champion, which would be
- 22:28Speaker 4: a good cap to this.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Electric year that he's had.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:32Speaker 1: With all of you think.
- 22:33Speaker 4: And then he starts off 2027 as champion, or if
- 22:38Speaker 4: they're doing that day one thing, maybe he cashes in
- 22:40Speaker 4: at the start of 2027. But prior to the rumble,
- 22:42Speaker 4: He cashes in, he becomes champion, and that keeps him
- 22:47Speaker 4: out of the Royal Rumble match because he'd be defending
- 22:50Speaker 4: the title against somebody, probably whoever he cashed in on
- 22:54Speaker 4: or something like that.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yeah, and I was looking like, well, we know that
- 23:01Speaker 6: Penta's from Mexico. I was like, well, when's WWE going
- 23:04Speaker 6: back to Mexico? And, you know, nothing anytime soon, so
- 23:09Speaker 6: we can rule that out. yeah do you guys want
- 23:18Speaker 6: to add anything else about Money in the Bank before
- 23:20Speaker 6: we move on.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I'll give LA Knight his props in the fact that
- 23:33Speaker 4: at least in this match at least in this match
- 23:39Speaker 4: he finally looked like a legitimate world title contender Even
- 23:44Speaker 4: though he lost, he put on a great match with Roman,
- 23:49Speaker 4: and he walked out looking better than he did going in.
- 23:53Speaker 4: It was pretty obvious that he wasn't going to win.
- 23:55Speaker 4: I don't know why all the LA Knight fanboys are
- 23:58Speaker 4: so pissed off.
- 23:58Speaker 6: It was the wrong choice.
- 23:59Speaker 1: LA Knight should have won. He ain't him.
- 24:02Speaker 4: He's not that guy. He's elevated himself, yes. He's a
- 24:08Speaker 4: main event level guy now, without question. But there's a
- 24:13Speaker 4: difference between being a main event level guy and the
- 24:18Speaker 4: type of guy who can dethrone a Roman Reigns in
- 24:23Speaker 4: a title match. That's a different level. And he just
- 24:31Speaker 4: ain't at that level yet. But he did do himself
- 24:36Speaker 4: a great service by having an excellent match with Roman Reigns.
- 24:41Speaker 4: I think he did elevate himself.
- 24:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know where, I mean, he's been in hiding,
- 24:50Speaker 6: I guess you can say, since his loss. So they
- 24:54Speaker 6: need to bring him back on TV soon. I want
- 24:57Speaker 6: to know, where does he go next?
- 25:00Speaker 1: You know?
- 25:03Speaker 6: Is LA Knight doomed to be like a modern day
- 25:08Speaker 6: Riley Piper, where he is always in the main event scene,
- 25:14Speaker 6: he can be in the main title scene, He's great
- 25:17Speaker 6: on the mic. Fans love him. He sells merch. But
- 25:20Speaker 6: he never wins the big one.
- 25:25Speaker 1: You know?
- 25:26Speaker 5: Well, they always said Piper didn't need the belt.
- 25:29Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 25:29Speaker 5: I don't think you can say the same for Allied Knight. Right.
- 25:33Speaker 6: I mean, damn, man. This man just gets opportunity after
- 25:38Speaker 6: opportunity and sometimes it feels like he gets so fucking close.
- 25:42Speaker 6: And then, no. They just snatch it away.
- 25:45Speaker 1: He's only had two. No, he'll be champion.
- 25:54Speaker 4: He won't win whatever the top belt is in the
- 25:56Speaker 4: company at the time.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Right.
- 25:59Speaker 1: But he'll win it. He can beat....
- 26:05Speaker 4: If the LA Knight that showed up against Roman Reigns
- 26:08Speaker 4: faced Sami Zayn, you could see him convincingly beating Sami Zayn.
- 26:14Speaker 4: That's not far-fetched. You could book LA Knight versus Sami
- 26:18Speaker 4: Zayn right now. LA Knight wins that match, and nobody
- 26:23Speaker 4: would think that's unreasonable or, you know, beyond the pale.
- 26:27Speaker 6: No, dude, absolutely. I agree with you.
- 26:31Speaker 1: But booking him to be Roman Reigns is a stretch.
- 26:37Speaker 4: That's what I mean when I say he's elevated himself
- 26:39Speaker 4: to a main event level, but he's not at that
- 26:43Speaker 4: level yet.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I think he'll be a champion.
- 26:48Speaker 4: He could be WWE champion if Roman is world champion
- 26:53Speaker 4: or if Cody is world champion or Punk. Is he
- 26:57Speaker 4: on the level to beat those type of guys? The
- 27:00Speaker 4: face of the company type guys?
- 27:01Speaker 6: No.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Can he beat damn near anybody else?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Sure.
- 27:08Speaker 4: I think that's probably where he's positioned himself right now.
- 27:12Speaker 7: Right.
- 27:14Speaker 6: So, Money in the Bank was October 10th. And if
- 27:17Speaker 6: you guys blinked, if you blinked at all, the day
- 27:25Speaker 6: before that, on the 9th, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley
- 27:31Speaker 6: defeated Fatal Influence to win the women's tag titles. And then,
- 27:36Speaker 6: October 23rd, Meechan and B-Fab won their very first titles.
- 27:43Speaker 6: from Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. Yeah, on SmackDown. I
- 27:50Speaker 6: thought I'd bring that up just because of titles changing hands.
- 27:54Speaker 6: It seems like the women's tag titles are becoming hot potato.
- 27:57Speaker 8: Women's championships in general.
- 28:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I actually went down this rabbit hole the other day.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Women's title changes have been this year already.
- 28:15Speaker 6: Do tell. Do tell.
- 28:16Speaker 1: That's probably a good number. How many?
- 28:20Speaker 7: 19.
- 28:20Speaker 8: Which is already a record with, what, two months to go?
- 28:29Speaker 1: Is that just main roster?
- 28:30Speaker 5: Yeah. You know what it is? Last year was 17.
- 28:36Speaker 6: I think, Doyle, it's the introduction of more titles in
- 28:40Speaker 6: the women's division, and I feel like a lot of
- 28:43Speaker 6: these women who are you know, who need, who need
- 28:48Speaker 6: or want that accolade on, on their resume, you know, like, Ooh,
- 28:52Speaker 6: I want to be a grand slam champion. Like, Ooh, like,
- 28:55Speaker 6: you know, imagine being one of the four horsewomen who've
- 28:57Speaker 6: been busting your ass for years and you're not that
- 29:00Speaker 6: far off of being on your way out. And all
- 29:02Speaker 6: of a sudden these new titles get introduced. It's like,
- 29:04Speaker 6: Oh shit. Like I, I need to, you know, Becky
- 29:08Speaker 6: Lynch was like, I need to win an IC title
- 29:11Speaker 6: or something in my career, Charlotte, I need to win
- 29:13Speaker 6: a tag title. Same thing with Bayley. I need to
- 29:16Speaker 6: win a tag title. Put that on my career, you know?
- 29:18Speaker 6: I mean, and then you got women who were gone
- 29:24Speaker 6: and now coming back and realizing there's titles up for grabs. Like,
- 29:29Speaker 6: the Bellas are now, you know, they were, before Brie
- 29:34Speaker 6: was gone, you know, chasing the titles. Now it looks
- 29:37Speaker 6: like Nikki's going to be getting a title shot soon.
- 29:40Speaker 6: So they're going to be putting her in the main
- 29:42Speaker 6: event scene somehow. I love hearing that groan from Doyle.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Just.
- 29:50Speaker 5: I love knowing.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I love that it upsets you. But, um.
- 29:57Speaker 5: It's just so bad.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Uh.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Like, we're past you guys. Yeah. Guys, what's up? Where?
- 30:07Speaker 4: Especially when there are other better, in my opinion, more
- 30:11Speaker 4: deserving women who are more relevant to the modern product,
- 30:15Speaker 4: who are not getting shots, just so people, just so
- 30:22Speaker 4: a nostalgia act can get some shine. I mean, it's
- 30:28Speaker 4: not to shit on Nikki Bella too much but her
- 30:32Speaker 4: wrestling just isn't on the level of today's women it's
- 30:37Speaker 4: just not so it just seems like it feels like
- 30:45Speaker 4: it's a step down or a step back instead of
- 30:49Speaker 4: a step.
- 30:49Speaker 6: Forward it's you know what it also seems like because
- 30:57Speaker 6: they had bigger plans they had tag team title plans
- 30:59Speaker 6: with her And Brie. And we're still waiting for Brie
- 31:02Speaker 6: to come back. So it's like... Alright. Do you want
- 31:06Speaker 6: to lose? Do you want to take some couple L's?
- 31:08Speaker 6: But we'll put you in the main event scene. You're
- 31:11Speaker 6: going to get your ass beat. But we're not going
- 31:14Speaker 6: to let you hold the gold. Yeah, I don't see
- 31:17Speaker 6: her holding the gold. I see her contending, but not winning. Yeah,
- 31:25Speaker 6: I don't know when Rhea is due to be back.
- 31:27Speaker 6: If that's something Rumble is possible. Not sure. What else
- 31:36Speaker 6: did I want to bring up?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Oh, wait.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Oh, no. We talked about LA Knight. We talked about
- 31:44Speaker 6: the briefcases. Let's talk about the Bloodline and the 946
- 31:51Speaker 6: for a little bit here. So, it seemed like the
- 31:59Speaker 6: 946 has had has had the upper hand the past
- 32:02Speaker 6: couple of weeks over the bloodline. And all the way
- 32:07Speaker 6: up to the point... I was getting kind of bored
- 32:10Speaker 6: of it. It's like every week they were getting their
- 32:12Speaker 6: ass whooped. They were getting run over by fucking cars
- 32:14Speaker 6: or whatever, you know? Getting kidnapped. I was just... I'm
- 32:18Speaker 6: over it, man. It's just because, to me... It.
- 32:25Speaker 5: Just.
- 32:25Speaker 6: These guys didn't seem like a legit threat to me.
- 32:28Speaker 6: To the bloodline. The bloodline... ran this company for like
- 32:32Speaker 6: three years straight, you know, owning all of the gold.
- 32:35Speaker 6: And then you have two dudes from NXT, and you
- 32:38Speaker 6: have Royce Keyes, who wasn't doing nothing beforehand, you know.
- 32:44Speaker 6: And the best guy in that group is Carmelo Hayes.
- 32:49Speaker 6: And I don't know where his place is in all this,
- 32:56Speaker 6: nor why. He just, to me, when he was in it, like, Okay?
- 33:02Speaker 6: For why, though. But every time I see the recaps
- 33:11Speaker 6: or anything going on with this group, it's background noise
- 33:15Speaker 6: to me. Until this week. Until this week. Until Roman
- 33:23Speaker 6: Reigns came out. I got a little excited. It wasn't
- 33:27Speaker 6: this week. It was last week, right? Was it last week?
- 33:30Speaker 1: That was last week, yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 6: Okay, last week.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Okay.
- 33:32Speaker 6: The OTC returning. So to actually step in and help
- 33:36Speaker 6: the bloodline, you know, kind of balance this. I know
- 33:40Speaker 6: getting us basically ready for war games, right? Which I
- 33:45Speaker 6: don't know how these teams are going to be set up.
- 33:50Speaker 6: How do you guys predict with these two groups, you know,
- 33:55Speaker 6: going to war games? what we could see as a
- 33:58Speaker 6: full five on five, I assume, right? Is that what
- 34:01Speaker 6: war games always is? Five on five. Is that always
- 34:05Speaker 6: been five on five? Yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 6: Always.
- 34:08Speaker 4: No, but recently I think has been, okay. At least
- 34:12Speaker 4: the last couple of years.
- 34:15Speaker 6: So let's, let's go. Let's start with the bloodline. We have,
- 34:20Speaker 6: we have Roman Reigns. We have Jimmy and Jey Uso.
- 34:25Speaker 6: We have solo. And most likely returning Jacob Fazio, correct?
- 34:32Speaker 6: Is that the most obvious choice?
- 34:34Speaker 5: That's what they want us to think anyway.
- 34:36Speaker 6: And this whole like him showing up and being on
- 34:40Speaker 6: the other side, it's like, okay, so you got hit
- 34:43Speaker 6: by a car on purpose?
- 34:47Speaker 5: Yeah, it doesn't make a lot of sense.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Yeah, it just doesn't make sense, you know? Uh, okay,
- 34:54Speaker 6: so the other team, we got, uh, Royce Keyes, we
- 34:56Speaker 6: got Carmelo Hayes, we got the two guys from NXT, who,
- 35:00Speaker 6: I'm sorry, I still have not learned their names yet. Um, who,
- 35:04Speaker 6: who is their fifth man? Because we're not gonna put
- 35:08Speaker 6: women in this match, right? We're not gonna do, uh,
- 35:11Speaker 6: a mixed tag, we're not gonna throw, like, Naomi instead
- 35:14Speaker 6: of Jacob Fatu, throwing Naomi in here, and, and, uh, oh,
- 35:17Speaker 6: I'm sorry, what, I, I forget what her name is, um,
- 35:21Speaker 6: It's escaping me right now.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Jada Parker.
- 35:22Speaker 6: Jada Parker, yes. We're not throwing Jada Parker in there.
- 35:25Speaker 6: I just– I don't know. It just won't make sense.
- 35:29Speaker 6: I don't know. What do you guys think?
- 35:34Speaker 5: No, but I could see her causing havoc on the
- 35:36Speaker 5: outside or something. And maybe that's where Naomi returns to
- 35:40Speaker 5: like even the odds on the outside or something.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:43Speaker 6: Do we see maybe somebody who's currently on the roster
- 35:46Speaker 6: joining them? Like is there a bigger– is there– like,
- 35:51Speaker 6: you know what I mean? Is there, like, somebody above
- 35:53Speaker 6: Royce Keyes running this group? Is there a leader?
- 35:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 6: Or is it just another henchman, you know?
- 36:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I mean, uh, if only.
- 36:08Speaker 8: Do you want to do something with LA Knight?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Hello?
- 36:11Speaker 6: It's right there.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Fuck.
- 36:12Speaker 1: No.
- 36:13Speaker 5: No.
- 36:14Speaker 6: Dude, I, I kind of agree with Doyle. I mean,
- 36:17Speaker 6: come on, dude. It makes sense. Like, He's just.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Like, no, I cannot be more adamant against that.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Oh, come on, Dre.
- 36:29Speaker 4: First things first, before we even get too deep into this,
- 36:32Speaker 4: I cannot even, I could not disagree with you more
- 36:36Speaker 4: about this whole feud and this whole thing being background noise.
- 36:39Speaker 4: To me personally, this has probably been the most interesting
- 36:42Speaker 4: thing going on in WWE right now is this whole
- 36:45Speaker 4: 9-4-6 thing. Because for one, it's involving new talent. and
- 36:50Speaker 4: new faces that have not been getting a whole lot
- 36:52Speaker 4: of shine being featured in a main event storyline on
- 36:55Speaker 4: a main event level. Two, their presentation has actually been
- 36:59Speaker 4: really damn good. And the fact that they are actually
- 37:02Speaker 4: beating the shit out of the bloodline, taking out Jacob
- 37:08Speaker 4: by running him over, pulling the swerve with Jada, even
- 37:11Speaker 4: giving little moments of a little wink and nods to
- 37:14Speaker 4: the fans when she shows up and the first person
- 37:16Speaker 4: to really react to her was Well, outside of Jacob
- 37:19Speaker 4: with the, oh, hell no.
- 37:20Speaker 1: But, you know, Jay, like, what you doing here?
- 37:26Speaker 4: Which is a definite weak and not to the fans
- 37:28Speaker 4: who know that these two are actually dating.
- 37:31Speaker 1: But they've been doing this really well.
- 37:34Speaker 4: And the thing that I really like about this feud
- 37:36Speaker 4: is that it doesn't just feel like another just regular
- 37:40Speaker 4: wrestling feud. They've been presenting this shit like it's legit
- 37:45Speaker 4: beef between these two. And in terms of all the
- 37:49Speaker 4: fighting happening backstage and going all out, just war, not just,
- 37:54Speaker 4: you know, all right, we're just going to do some
- 37:55Speaker 4: fighting in the ring and some double teams and hit
- 37:58Speaker 4: some moves, and then they're going to scramble. Like, no,
- 38:01Speaker 4: these motherfuckers been fighting, fighting. So they've been presenting this
- 38:05Speaker 4: shit with a whole lot more energy than some other
- 38:08Speaker 4: feuds that we've seen in the past where, oh, somebody
- 38:11Speaker 4: just runs in, makes a save, and okay, we'll see
- 38:14Speaker 4: you next week where we do the same thing over.
- 38:15Speaker 1: And over again.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Like I said, this shit feels like actual beef. What
- 38:20Speaker 4: was it, a few weeks ago and shit when they
- 38:22Speaker 4: all got into the ring? And then you seen Jay
- 38:24Speaker 4: just pacing back and forth, pacing back and forth while
- 38:27Speaker 4: they mouthing off and shit. And then Jay, what'd he do?
- 38:29Speaker 1: Set it off.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Flew across that motherfucker and they got to scrapping. This
- 38:33Speaker 4: shit has, this has been part of Raw that I've
- 38:36Speaker 4: been the most interested in. And yes, when Roman finally
- 38:39Speaker 4: showed up, yeah, I stood up at full attention, ready,
- 38:43Speaker 4: because again, shit was about to pop the fuck off.
- 38:47Speaker 4: And this has had energy. And as far as who
- 38:54Speaker 4: could be a fifth member and people keep wanting to
- 38:57Speaker 4: float the idea that it should be somebody they had
- 39:00Speaker 4: to have some other leader or that it just has
- 39:02Speaker 4: to be somebody above Royce Keyes. Why the fuck can't
- 39:06Speaker 4: the leader just be the guy who's damn leader right now?
- 39:09Speaker 1: Royce Keyes.
- 39:10Speaker 4: We keep screaming that we want new talent. We keep
- 39:12Speaker 4: screaming that we're saying that we want new people elevated
- 39:15Speaker 4: and built up. Well, God damn it, you got a
- 39:17Speaker 4: motherfucker right here who's getting built up. Let him be
- 39:20Speaker 4: the leader. Build up this group. Build him up as
- 39:23Speaker 4: the leader. Stop looking at him like he, like, nah,
- 39:26Speaker 4: he insufficient. It can't be good enough. He ain't good
- 39:29Speaker 4: enough to be the leader. and for god's sake damn
- 39:32Speaker 4: sure don't look at this shit and be like it's
- 39:34Speaker 4: gotta be a white guy leading them fuck out of
- 39:36Speaker 4: here with all that shit y'all.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Can continue well who do.
- 39:42Speaker 5: You think then i mean they're gonna be somebody else right.
- 39:47Speaker 6: No.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Take it easy.
- 39:49Speaker 8: It doesn't have to be a leader.
- 39:55Speaker 4: As far as who the fifth person would be, honestly,
- 39:57Speaker 4: I haven't put any thought into it. I'm letting the
- 40:00Speaker 4: story come to me as they bring it, as they
- 40:02Speaker 4: give it to me. I have not really tried to
- 40:05Speaker 4: speculate on, oh, this person could be the fifth man,
- 40:08Speaker 4: this person could be the fifth man, this person, that person.
- 40:11Speaker 4: I have not really. There's been a ton of discussion
- 40:14Speaker 4: on it. I haven't put a whole lot of thought
- 40:15Speaker 4: into it. Other than the fact that I absolutely do
- 40:19Speaker 4: not want it to be L.A.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Knight.
- 40:20Speaker 4: I absolutely do not want it to be Jacob Fatu.
- 40:24Speaker 4: I even saw somebody mention The Rock.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Is it? No.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Royce Keyes is the leader. I want Royce Keyes to
- 40:31Speaker 4: remain the leader. Whoever the fifth person is should not
- 40:36Speaker 4: be somebody that would outshine Royce Keyes.
- 40:40Speaker 6: So no Obafemi, huh?
- 40:43Speaker 1: No, I've heard people bring that up too.
- 40:45Speaker 5: No, absolutely not.
- 40:48Speaker 4: No, because that's going to take all the... You do that,
- 40:51Speaker 4: you take all the momentum out of your WrestleMania main event.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Take it easy.
- 40:57Speaker 6: I got you all fired up, man.
- 41:00Speaker 5: The thing I don't get about Royce Keyes is.
- 41:03Speaker 8: The thing I don't get about Royce Keyes specifically is
- 41:06Speaker 8: that his whole presentation until this thing started was how he...
- 41:11Speaker 8: wanted to get out of the gang violence and the
- 41:15Speaker 8: street life or whatever, and now he's finally gone into it,
- 41:18Speaker 8: and now he's successful.
- 41:20Speaker 5: It just kind of sends the wrong message.
- 41:24Speaker 1: But remember, what was the catalyst that started this?
- 41:28Speaker 6: Jacob Fatu fucking him up.
- 41:31Speaker 4: The guy that he was trying to help out and say, like, yo,
- 41:35Speaker 4: you ain't got to do this, you ain't got to
- 41:36Speaker 4: be about that. And that dude turned on him, fucking
- 41:38Speaker 4: him completely up, leaving him a bloody mess. He's like, Oh, well,
- 41:43Speaker 4: if you want to be on some gangster shit, then
- 41:45Speaker 4: fuck it. We're going to get on some gangster shit.
- 41:46Speaker 5: That's a good point. That's a good point.
- 41:51Speaker 7: Hmm.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Well, they caused a lot of felonies in the past
- 41:56Speaker 6: couple of weeks, like cars on fire.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Maybe we should give them a little bit of credit, because.
- 42:01Speaker 1: What's that?
- 42:02Speaker 6: I said they've caused a lot of felonies in the
- 42:04Speaker 6: past couple of weeks. Aggravated assault on the Usos, criminal
- 42:07Speaker 6: damage to structured property. smashing the bloodline vehicles, arson, setting
- 42:11Speaker 6: it on fire, kidnapping, abduction of the solos, vehicle assault,
- 42:16Speaker 6: hit and run, involving Jacob Fatu. So by our court,
- 42:21Speaker 6: the 946 has racked up at least five felony-level offenses
- 42:24Speaker 6: in just a couple of months on WWE TV.
- 42:29Speaker 4: And that's what's helping elevate the feuds, in my opinion.
- 42:32Speaker 4: It's not just, that's why I say it's like legit beef,
- 42:35Speaker 4: because it ain't just, oh, we're going to run and
- 42:37Speaker 4: interfere in a match. Or we're just doing wrestling shit.
- 42:39Speaker 1: It's like, nah. Like, we on some gangster shit. We
- 42:43Speaker 1: on some street shit. This is beef. This ain't just
- 42:46Speaker 1: a wrestling feud. This is beef.
- 42:52Speaker 8: And we should maybe give some credit where credit is due.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Like, we don't know where this is going.
- 42:57Speaker 8: You know, I think we all know that Roxanne is
- 42:59Speaker 8: going to turn on Liv Morgan.
- 43:01Speaker 1: At some point. You know what I mean?
- 43:03Speaker 8: Like, we all know that Tiffany is going to turn
- 43:05Speaker 8: on Chelsea at some point.
- 43:06Speaker 5: Like, I don't know where they're going with this yet.
- 43:09Speaker 5: And that's a good thing. Why is the beef?
- 43:12Speaker 4: And again, and it's people who, and how long, and
- 43:15Speaker 4: weren't we talking about in the past about how Carmelo
- 43:18Speaker 4: was getting lost in the sauce on SmackDown with the
- 43:21Speaker 4: rise of Trick Williams and Old Femi coming in and
- 43:23Speaker 4: being huge and Jermon Evans popping off like that. We
- 43:27Speaker 4: thought this, we thought Carmelo Hayes was going to be
- 43:29Speaker 4: that person on the same level as them.
- 43:31Speaker 1: And he kind of fell by the wayside.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Got lost up in the US title picture and just
- 43:36Speaker 4: faded out of that. Now he's in something interesting. Again,
- 43:40Speaker 4: I popped big when he showed up with the crowbar.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Took the mask down and it was mellow. I was like,
- 43:45Speaker 4: hell the fuck, yeah.
- 43:51Speaker 1: He's in something.
- 43:52Speaker 4: He's in a main event program and there's room to
- 43:55Speaker 4: go so many directions with this long term. Provided that
- 44:01Speaker 4: they don't do the safe thing at war games. And
- 44:08Speaker 4: what's that? That would be having the bloodline win. If
- 44:13Speaker 4: the bloodline wins at war games, 946 is dead. If
- 44:20Speaker 4: they're going to do all this, if 946 is here
- 44:24Speaker 4: for the long term, they have to win war games.
- 44:29Speaker 4: If they lose at war games, then they're basically, they
- 44:31Speaker 4: might as well be an MCU villain. show up, be
- 44:34Speaker 4: a threat for one film, lose, never hear from them again,
- 44:37Speaker 4: and be forgettable. They have the potential to be a
- 44:41Speaker 4: real long-term threat, not just to the bloodline, but potentially
- 44:45Speaker 4: to the entire roster.
- 44:47Speaker 1: But they have to continue to be built up.
- 44:50Speaker 4: And the real build-up has to happen at War Games
- 44:53Speaker 4: when they defeat the bloodline. If they walk out, if
- 44:58Speaker 4: they go into that War Games match with the bloodline,
- 45:00Speaker 4: with Jacob, Solo, the Usos, and Roman, and they come
- 45:05Speaker 4: out victorious, shit, sky's the limit for them motherfuckers. And
- 45:10Speaker 4: their whole catchphrase of ain't nobody safe starts to hit
- 45:13Speaker 4: a whole lot different if these are the guys who
- 45:16Speaker 4: were able to take down the bloodline. Something that ain't
- 45:21Speaker 4: nobody else really been able to do. That puts them
- 45:26Speaker 4: on a whole nother level.
- 45:30Speaker 6: Where is WWE War Games this year?
- 45:34Speaker 1: Houston.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Texas.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Alright, nice. You could throw the Street Profits in there.
- 45:46Speaker 6: Yo.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Or Montez. Or Angelo. Throw them in there.
- 45:52Speaker 6: That is not a bad idea.
- 45:58Speaker 5: Damn.
- 46:00Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like you really... You kind of think, like,
- 46:03Speaker 6: you run through your head, who's on the roster who's
- 46:05Speaker 6: kind of not doing anything right now? You know what
- 46:07Speaker 6: I mean? Like, who's treading water backstage? So you're trying
- 46:11Speaker 6: to figure out where to, like Carmelo Hayes, like you said,
- 46:14Speaker 6: he wasn't doing anything after he was out of the
- 46:16Speaker 6: United States title scene. So who else is in that
- 46:20Speaker 6: position right now that would fit, you know, this group?
- 46:26Speaker 6: I don't see somebody like Damian Priest, I don't see
- 46:29Speaker 6: joining another group. Unless it's a Judgment Day reunion. I
- 46:32Speaker 6: don't see him.
- 46:34Speaker 1: No, no. And respectfully, he wouldn't fit.
- 46:38Speaker 4: And he would clash with Royce Keyes because Damian Priest
- 46:41Speaker 4: is a former world champion.
- 46:43Speaker 6: Yep.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Probably higher on the card, yeah.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 4: It's got to be somebody that would not outshine Royce
- 46:49Speaker 4: Keyes because, again, I believe Royce Keyes should remain the leader.
- 46:53Speaker 4: And I think Angelo– to me, between the two, if
- 46:57Speaker 4: it was Angelo or Tez– I would go with Angelo
- 47:00Speaker 4: Dawkins because, one, you can create a somewhat small storyline
- 47:07Speaker 4: between him and Tez breaking up. That finally lets freeze
- 47:13Speaker 4: Tez to go solo, which people have wanted for the
- 47:16Speaker 4: longest time. Dawkins has a place where he doesn't fall
- 47:22Speaker 4: by the wayside because he's now with this top heel faction.
- 47:25Speaker 1: In the 9-4-6.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Get you a little storyline there. You get you a
- 47:28Speaker 4: little feud going there. You know, 9-4-6 helps Dawkins out.
- 47:33Speaker 4: So Dawkins would kind of come out on top of
- 47:35Speaker 4: the feud. And I think Tez can lose a feud
- 47:39Speaker 4: like that and be okay because that would basically just
- 47:43Speaker 4: be the catalyst for him to finally step off as
- 47:46Speaker 4: a solo act. And then now he goes off on
- 47:50Speaker 4: his own. And Tez fully makes the break with him.
- 47:57Speaker 4: There is potential in this faction if they invest in
- 48:01Speaker 4: it the right way.
- 48:02Speaker 1: There's so much potential here.
- 48:05Speaker 8: It might be fun if they had like, you know,
- 48:08Speaker 8: the Street Profits getting ready for their match and they
- 48:10Speaker 8: get approached by Royce Keys and the guys and they're like,
- 48:14Speaker 8: They're trying to recruit Mello, say.
- 48:16Speaker 5: And he's like, no, I'm not. They're like, well, we
- 48:17Speaker 5: want an answer later or whatever. And then after they
- 48:20Speaker 5: win their match or whatever, they come down and they're like, well,
- 48:23Speaker 5: we're ready.
- 48:24Speaker 8: And that's when Dawkins takes them out.
- 48:27Speaker 5: He's the one that's accepted the offer.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Yeah, so you could do a little feud with them
- 48:33Speaker 5: or something. And you give Montez some sympathy.
- 48:36Speaker 4: He gets the empathy from being the guy who got
- 48:40Speaker 4: turned on.
- 48:43Speaker 1: He becomes instant babyface because they want to see him
- 48:45Speaker 1: get his leg back?
- 48:45Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, it's possible. I like that idea, Trent.
- 48:54Speaker 5: If Fatu's still out, maybe he joins the Bloodline team.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Who, Tez?
- 49:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You could do that. You could do that.
- 49:03Speaker 4: Yeah, if Fatu isn't out, you know, Bloodline, you know,
- 49:06Speaker 4: obviously they keep everything in family, but, you know, if
- 49:09Speaker 4: that spurred him on me, he'd be like, look, You know,
- 49:12Speaker 4: he makes a plea to Roman and Naomi.
- 49:14Speaker 5: Naomi and Bianca are friends.
- 49:15Speaker 6: You know.
- 49:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Like, he makes he makes a plea to to Roman
- 49:21Speaker 4: like look I know y'all need a fifth you know
- 49:24Speaker 4: I know Jacob's still out my boy dog I don't
- 49:28Speaker 4: know what's wrong with him but I gotta get at
- 49:30Speaker 4: him let me on the squad and you know Roman
- 49:32Speaker 4: considers it Roman says yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 1: And then you got them to it the money is.
- 49:37Speaker 6: There another Another person, I'm thinking who could take that
- 49:45Speaker 6: fifth spot for the bloodline. Hear me out. Seth Rollins.
- 49:55Speaker 1: The fuck did I just say, man?
- 50:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:04Speaker 6: I mean, what do you think?
- 50:06Speaker 4: No?
- 50:07Speaker 6: No.
- 50:07Speaker 5: No? No?
- 50:09Speaker 6: I love your idea. I love your idea. You put
- 50:12Speaker 6: a whole fucking storyline together because now you got me
- 50:15Speaker 6: excited about something that they're not going to fucking do.
- 50:19Speaker 6: And you found something, a storyline for two dudes who
- 50:24Speaker 6: are just fucking sitting in the back. When was the
- 50:27Speaker 6: last time we even saw them on TV?
- 50:30Speaker 1: Who, Seth?
- 50:31Speaker 6: No, Street Profits.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Street Profits? Yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 4: Not since they lost the titles that they had just
- 50:37Speaker 4: recently won back in the summer.
- 50:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like they have a match every three
- 50:42Speaker 5: or four months.
- 50:42Speaker 1: They show up.
- 50:43Speaker 5: Right, right. For a week or two and then they disappear.
- 50:46Speaker 6: Yeah, that would definitely get two guys in the back
- 50:50Speaker 6: who aren't fucking doing anything. We'd love to see on
- 50:52Speaker 6: TV right now. You know, they wouldn't be in the
- 50:55Speaker 6: tag title scene, but they'd be on TV. Something interesting.
- 51:01Speaker 1: New, fresh.
- 51:04Speaker 6: All right. I want to move on here. I have,
- 51:08Speaker 6: I want to talk about, bring it up on Fox News, uh,
- 51:14Speaker 6: Crown Jewel. Where the hell this is going to take place.
- 51:17Speaker 6: This is supposed to take place on November 7th. Uh,
- 51:20Speaker 6: it is now October 20th, so it's next weekend. Uh,
- 51:26Speaker 6: it's supposed to take place in Riyadh, uh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- 51:31Speaker 6: Now they're moving it to a new venue, because, uh,
- 51:36Speaker 6: escalating tensions in the Middle East. Riyadh season, which is
- 51:40Speaker 6: the entertainment festival held in the city across several months
- 51:44Speaker 6: and is organized by Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, made
- 51:49Speaker 6: the announcement and a statement posted to social media on Wednesday.
- 51:53Speaker 6: This information dropped today, as far as we know. We
- 51:56Speaker 6: would like to inform you, WWE Crown Jewel has been
- 51:59Speaker 6: moved to a new venue. The statement posted on X read,
- 52:02Speaker 6: all ticket holders will receive a full refund and tickets
- 52:06Speaker 6: will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours.
- 52:11Speaker 6: Outkick Dropkick reached out to WWE for further information. Crown
- 52:16Speaker 6: Jewel was set to be one of the three events
- 52:18Speaker 6: being held in Saudi Arabia this season, and was to
- 52:21Speaker 6: take place at Rehab Seasons Stadium. WWE's premium live event
- 52:29Speaker 6: calendar kicked off with the Royal Rumble in January, the
- 52:32Speaker 6: first traditional Royal Rumble to be held on uh, in
- 52:35Speaker 6: the country. The country's also hosted Night of Champions in June.
- 52:52Speaker 6: It's basically, it's
- 52:54Speaker 6: conflicting with WWE. And they, they have to go back for, well,
- 53:01Speaker 6: to go for WrestleMania next year. This is, it, Is this...
- 53:06Speaker 6: And not only that, there's a lot of... Every day
- 53:09Speaker 6: I'm seeing reports of so-and-so wrestler doesn't want to go.
- 53:12Speaker 6: So-and-so wrestler doesn't want to go. And I just go,
- 53:16Speaker 6: no shit. No shit. Like, we know these wrestlers don't
- 53:20Speaker 6: want to go, but.
- 53:20Speaker 5: The State Department has evacuated all non.
- 53:24Speaker 8: The State Department has evacuated all non-essential personnel.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:28Speaker 5: You know, like, they're actively... It's.
- 53:31Speaker 8: Not like, hmm, maybe you should think about not going
- 53:33Speaker 8: to this area of the world.
- 53:34Speaker 5: It is.
- 53:35Speaker 8: it is don't go and if you're there get out.
- 53:38Speaker 6: Right right how much money TKO.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Like but there's money though yeah I.
- 53:47Speaker 5: Know they have boxing they have Alvarez this weekend in
- 53:54Speaker 5: the stadium that's where they're going to move.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Money in the bank to that arena Yeah, I was
- 54:04Speaker 1: just looking it up.
- 54:04Speaker 4: It's called the A & B Arena or Kingdom Arena,
- 54:07Speaker 4: which is in Riyadh.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Yeah, basically what they decide is that shit's too dangerous.
- 54:12Speaker 1: We better put a roof on this motherfucker.
- 54:14Speaker 6: Based on reports circulating this week, WWE and TKO could
- 54:18Speaker 6: lose somewhere between.
- 54:20Speaker 1: $ 70 to.
- 54:21Speaker 6: $ 90 million in revenue earnings if Crown Jewel were canceled
- 54:26Speaker 6: and Saudi events did not take place. So between $ 70
- 54:29Speaker 6: to $ 90 million.
- 54:30Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 54:32Speaker 6: Other reports saying Dave Meltzer says WWE might not permanently
- 54:36Speaker 6: lose the money if the event is merely postponed or relocated.
- 54:40Speaker 6: Under that view, WWE could add another Saudi event later
- 54:44Speaker 6: in the contract, meaning the revenue would be delayed rather
- 54:48Speaker 6: than lost. Yeah.
- 54:52Speaker 7: Uh.
- 54:53Speaker 5: I mean, I know I sure as fuck wouldn't want
- 54:56Speaker 5: to go over there right now.
- 54:57Speaker 6: No.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Fuck no.
- 54:59Speaker 6: Where would be... I wonder where would be a safe
- 55:03Speaker 6: place for us to go? Like, if they come back
- 55:07Speaker 6: to the States. I mean.
- 55:09Speaker 4: You got a whole ass United States of America to
- 55:12Speaker 4: fucking pick a building that's not doing something.
- 55:15Speaker 6: I know.
- 55:17Speaker 5: And, uh.
- 55:18Speaker 7: Damn, I.
- 55:21Speaker 5: It's not as easy as just doing that either.
- 55:23Speaker 8: You've got all the people that work at the venue
- 55:25Speaker 8: that need to gather up.
- 55:29Speaker 5: These events are not just the wrestlers.
- 55:33Speaker 8: It's all the sound people and the lighting people and
- 55:35Speaker 8: the wardrobe people and.
- 55:37Speaker 5: The catering people. Changing one of these things is not just, oh,
- 55:42Speaker 5: let's do it over here.
- 55:45Speaker 6: Instead.
- 55:46Speaker 5: The longer you wait, the harder and harder and harder
- 55:49Speaker 5: it gets.
- 55:49Speaker 4: And that's what the real problem is, is the fact
- 55:51Speaker 4: that they've been dragging their ass for so long despite
- 55:54Speaker 4: the fact that the warnings have been out for so
- 55:57Speaker 4: damn long. They could have made this so much easier
- 56:00Speaker 4: on themselves had they just decided a month ago.
- 56:06Speaker 1: When shit was.
- 56:06Speaker 5: Popping off over there.
- 56:09Speaker 8: Every other event except for the TKO shit has been
- 56:12Speaker 8: cancelled or postponed or moved or whatever.
- 56:16Speaker 5: The only thing is... They're boxing, they're wrestling, and they're
- 56:21Speaker 5: fucking the people that slap each other.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Yeah, the power slap.
- 56:26Speaker 5: Can we talk about that for a second? That might
- 56:28Speaker 5: be the stupidest thing in human history.
- 56:30Speaker 6: What's that? Oh, what former WWE world champion Jack Swagger does?
- 56:41Speaker 5: So stupid.
- 56:42Speaker 4: It may be stupid as hell, but it's funny as
- 56:44Speaker 4: shit watching the people get knocked the fuck out.
- 56:46Speaker 6: So, so let me get this straight. Uh, when I
- 56:51Speaker 6: watch these videos, right. And I think to myself, Jack
- 56:54Speaker 6: Spire used to be a professional wrestler. Um, and I,
- 56:58Speaker 6: you know, we think how dangerous professional wrestling is, especially with, uh, concussions, right.
- 57:05Speaker 6: But now you, you are in a sport that legit
- 57:09Speaker 6: could give you a concussion just, just by participating, just, just,
- 57:14Speaker 6: They literally just slap the shit out of you. Like,
- 57:17Speaker 6: how are you not a little fucked in the head
- 57:20Speaker 6: after that, after a while? Like, I don't know. Being
- 57:24Speaker 6: the champion, is that really a flex? I mean, I
- 57:28Speaker 6: don't think so.
- 57:30Speaker 1: You know.
- 57:34Speaker 6: Well, at least he's doing something. You know, he's getting
- 57:37Speaker 6: out there. Yeah, he's getting out there. He's getting out there.
- 57:44Speaker 6: Did anybody go and see the new Street Fighter? No?
- 57:53Speaker 6: Just me? Of course. You know, it's just a lot
- 58:01Speaker 6: of Cody. I'm not going to spoil stuff, but just
- 58:03Speaker 6: a lot of Cody scenes. Cody this, Cody that. Just
- 58:06Speaker 6: cheesy lines. I personally just can't take Cody Rhodes serious
- 58:12Speaker 6: as an actor because... I just see goofy Cody Rhodes
- 58:16Speaker 6: in a tracksuit on Monday Night Raw. Or Friday Night Smackdown. Anyway, Roman, great.
- 58:26Speaker 6: I don't think he's going to be getting a solo
- 58:27Speaker 6: film anytime soon. I'd rather enjoy it. I'd go and
- 58:37Speaker 6: see it again. I'd put it right up there.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I'd wait for streaming.
- 58:41Speaker 6: Yeah, wait for streaming, but I enjoyed it as much
- 58:45Speaker 6: as the new Mortal Kombat, but that's not saying much
- 58:47Speaker 6: because I didn't really play much Street Fighter. But from
- 58:51Speaker 6: somebody who doesn't play Street Fighter, they gave me a
- 58:55Speaker 6: good understanding of what it was. And I'm hearing recently
- 59:00Speaker 6: that it's a three movie deal. So we could see
- 59:05Speaker 6: Cody Rhodes again and Roman again and again. and again.
- 59:11Speaker 6: So the, uh, the Cody Rhodes popcorn bucket, uh, the guile,
- 59:19Speaker 6: you know, head, the blonde hair. I did not buy it.
- 59:23Speaker 6: It was ridiculous looking.
- 59:24Speaker 4: So, but, uh, I'm interested in the movie, just not
- 59:29Speaker 4: interested enough to spend movie theater money on it.
- 59:32Speaker 6: Gotcha. Gotcha. Speaking of movies.
- 59:38Speaker 4: But I also have my expectations pretty low for this movie,
- 59:42Speaker 4: just because to me, for me, the bar for a
- 59:45Speaker 4: Street Fighter movie was set back in 1993 or 4
- 59:52Speaker 4: or whatever it was that the old Street Fighter 2
- 59:55Speaker 4: anime film came out. To me, that's still the fucking
- 59:58Speaker 4: gold standard for Street Fighter movies. A movie that came
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: out 30 years ago.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: And I ain't talking about the Jean-Claude Van Damme bullshit either.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: If you want to see a... And I'd be interested
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: to see what you think of it, Doyle. I mean,
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: not Doyle, but Wayne.
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: What's that?
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: Since you have seen this new Street Fighter movie and
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: you seem to enjoy that.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: You should go back and watch the Street Fighter 2
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: anime film from the 90s.
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: Okay, I'll watch the anime one. Yeah, I did watch
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: the Jean-Claude Van Damme one, but yeah, I have not
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: seen that one. That movie's not... There's moments in that
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: movie I think are awesome. Okay? Dude, come on.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: There's only one. Go ahead.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: There's only two good things from that movie. Only two
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: good things. One, Ming-Na Wen as Chun-Li looked apart, did great. Well,
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: I wouldn't say she did great. She looked apart.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: And it's Ming-Na Wen. She's awesome.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Second good thing, Raul Julia's performance. Even though he was
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: not the best in Bison, he took the role for
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: his kids. Because they were big Street Fighter fans and
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: he thought this would be good for him. And you
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: got to give the guy credit because he was, I
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: think he had stomach cancer. Yeah, he had some form
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: of cancer because that's why he looked so small in
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: the film. Like he originally wanted to bulk up to
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: play Bison in that movie. But then he found out
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: he had cancer and had to undergo treatment, which affected
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: his ability to trade for the film. So he couldn't
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: bulk up or anything. But he still manages to give
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: an incredible performance as Bison. And he gives one of
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: the coldest lines ever spoken in any film when he's
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: speaking to Ming-Na Chun-Li. And she mentions, you know, you
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: killed my father. And he gives the coldest fucking.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Line where he says.
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: Can I deliver it?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: To you... Huh?
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Can I deliver it, sir?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Yeah, what you said.
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: Oh, yeah. For you, the day Bison graced your village
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: was the most important day of your life. But for me,
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: it was Tuesday. Yeah, dude.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Don't know where that accent came from, but yeah, that's
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the line. Ah, yes. I know.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: That line was cold as fuck. But that's the only
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: good thing about that movie. Everything else is trash. Yeah,
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: I mean, But yeah, go back and watch the anime
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: movie from the 90s. And let me know what you
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: think of that compared to this current, the new live action.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, I saw a post today that Rusev has
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: had a better day than Rusev Day. Today, it's announced
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: that Rusev and former WWE wrestler... Lana, also known as
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: CJ Perry, are having a child together. So, congrats. Little,
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: little Rusev. Let's just hope, uh, doesn't come out looking
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: like Bobby Lashley.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: I saw that post too. Somebody's like, Bobby, Bobby Lashley's
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: the real father.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: That couple's had quite a history, huh?
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: Yeah, they have. And that means Brian Russo might be
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: off the TV for a while. I don't know what
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: he's been up to.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: He hasn't been on TV.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: Nothing changes there. I think I saw rumors he was
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: going to be added to... Fuck. Ethan Page and.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: Fucking Big Cass.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: Yeah. Oh, yeah, Ethan Page, Big Cass, and somebody else. Yeah,
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: there's a... Damn, I heard that too. Get Austin with them.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: Just, why? Come on, man. Just give us Enzo. Ethan Page,
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: Big Cass, and Chad... No. Who else? I heard the
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: same report too.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's just them right now.
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: I think it's done by now, but the rumor is
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: they're going to add Rusev to that crew.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: Yeah, okay. Well, I guess this is like, we are
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: like stables. Everybody gets a stable. You know, there was
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: a time when we didn't have any stables, and it
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: was like just Judgment Day, right? And then after Judgment Day,
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: we started getting more. We got the Bloodline, we got
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: the Vision, you know, Alpha Academy, LWO, And now we
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: get to 9-4-6. And we got a lot of trios, too.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: But when you got a roster so big, you kind
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: of have to, or you just kind of fall by
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: the wayside. What else did I want to say? Oh,
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: did you guys know Stephanie Viqueira's out again? She has
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: an illness now. It's not... The report doesn't really say
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: what it is, just that she's going to be out
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: for a while because she has an illness. She's going
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: to be out indefinitely. She feels like she just came back,
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: and now she's out again. I mean, that's... Damn. No
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: wonder why they try to give her the title as
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: soon as she comes back, and then something happens, and
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: then she's out again. That's rough, man.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: They didn't try to give it to her.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: That was.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: We all know what that was. That was just a
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: money thing for the crowd. I don't think they're taking
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: it off for so quickly was because of her illness
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: or anything. I think that was just, Oh, we're in Chile.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: Let's do a thing for the crowd and capitalize on
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: the moment. I don't think they ever really wanted to
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: take the title off live in the first place, but
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: you know, can't let a viral moment go.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Can't let a viral moment go by.
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: WWE executive director, creative writing, and talent Bruce Prichard reported
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: may be transitioning into a new role within the company
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: in the near future. According to PW Insider, Prichard is
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: expected to step down from his role as full-time after
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: WrestleMania 43 in April, allowing him to work as a consultant,
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: which won't require him to be located in Stanford, Connecticut. Uh,
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: he's going, he's going to be going, uh, undergoing some
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: serious surgery. And that's one of the reasons why he'll
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: be stepping down. Uh, that could be good for the company.
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: I think getting pressured out of there. Yeah. I mean,
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: Michael Hayes is another one. We need to get out
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: of there.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I guess.
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: Huh?
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: Yeah. There's some, the more, the more Vincent Jason people.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: There's word that Michael Hayes will be, I think he
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: just appeared on, uh, Stephanie McMahon's podcast and mentioned that
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: Triple H has already chosen Bobby Roode to basically be
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: his successor whenever he decides to step down which if
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: that decision's already been made then it would seem to
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: me that sooner rather than later that we may see
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Hayes step down as well so and yeah this is
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: to me this is a potentially this should be good
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: news for the WWE getting some new faces, some younger
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: minds in there in the creative space, coming up with
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: some hopefully newer and refreshing storylines going forward, or at
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: least in the future. Obviously, Triple H will still always
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: have the final say, and we can never, you know,
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: we can't understate TKO's potential influence at any given moment
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: that they decide. that the dollars ain't adding up the
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: way they want them to, but hopefully this can be
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: nothing but good moving forward creatively. You know, they already
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: got Bobby rude. As we mentioned back there, they've gotten, uh,
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: what Tyler Bate and Pete Dunn are producing matches and stuff.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Maybe they can get in on the creative end as well. So,
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: bringing in some fresh ideas so I will say hearing
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: this news made me more optimistic than pessimistic okay oh
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: I agree just old blood say what the guy's been
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: there for 40 years.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: You know like yeah Maybe even Regal.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Might even see Regal take a more prominent role in
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: creative direction, which even though he is an older guy, obviously,
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: I would not be opposed to it because he's one
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: of the older guys who I think still has a
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: good mind for the current product.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: I agree with that. Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: It'd be nice to see him back. I liked him
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: when he was general manager.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I don't need him on TV.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: You don't need him on TV? I mean, just to
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: have him come back?
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: No.
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: Not just.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: He has a good mind for the business. His influence
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: can be backstage in the product and be seen in
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: the product. He doesn't have to be an on-screen character
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: for that to happen.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: Right. Hmm, okay. Uh... I thought it'd be cool if
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: he would come back just once a year, you know?
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: That's all he needs, just to come back once a year.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: Just to say war games!
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: Ah, yeah, dude. I mean.
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: They appear to have handed that over to Adam Pearce now.
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: Nah, you need to bring it back. Here we go.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: War games! Yeah. War games! I knew I had it
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: here somewhere.
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: Oh, the World Tag Titles are actually going to be
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: going up for a championship match. We're going to have
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: Braun Breaker and Austin Theory, where I don't know where
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: the hell he's been the past two weeks, versus Money
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: in the Bank briefcase holder, Penta. So, getting greedy, man.
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: Getting a title when you already have a briefcase. I
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: don't know how you wiggled your way into that with
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: Javon Evans. What a weird.
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: And, man, I don't... The only team who can get
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: to go to Saudi Arabia, Matt.
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: You'll go? You'll go? Great, you're a tag team.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: I think you're right. I think you're right. It's like,
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: to me, if you're going to have Penta win his
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: first tag titles, why would you not do it with
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: him and Ray Phoenix? Right? Yeah. Why Javon? Javon can't
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: find anybody else to tag with to win his first
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: tag titles. Well, I mean, I guess it keeps.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: In their mind, they still think of the Lucha Bros
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: as this huge thing that they can keep in their
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: back pocket until quote-unquote the right time.
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: I think after that fucking great match that they had
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: and him getting the briefcase finally, I mean, I think
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: he would be an ideal person. great person, but.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: But at the same time, I want to see the
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: tag titles off of Braun Breaker and Austin Theory. They're
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: not doing jack shit with them. Braun Breaker, I think,
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: get it off of him before the Rumble. Whether he
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: wins the Rumble or not, I would like to see
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: him focused on a singles title. He's not. He was just,
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: I'm sorry to say, he was just a placeholder for
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: that title until Logan Paul comes back. I don't know
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: if they're just going to hold on to it until
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: Logan Paul comes back and then he just hands it
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: to them, and then that's it. And then they fucking
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: lose it the next week on Raw. But, uh, we
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: gotta do something with them, right? So there's potential for
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: them to get lost in the sauce this week and
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: swap hands finally. And then, you know, Penta and Javon
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: will lose it to a heel tag team, an upcoming
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: heel tag team. Whether, it's like, I don't know. What
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: happens if the 9-4-6 decide they want tag titles now?
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I was going to say, have those guys even
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: had a match? The tag team?
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: No, not on the main roster.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Just them two? No, their first match was what was it,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: last week or something?
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: The three-on-three.
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: Yeah, so that's interesting as well. It's like, you know,
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: you could free up those tag titles or something like that.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: Tournament of serious competition there. Just have, just demolish the, the,
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: the money in the briefcase guy and, and an upcoming
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: Javon Evans is smashed by these two fucking heels.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: So, uh, that's something that can take place post war games,
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: you know, after this feud, which hopefully again, they should
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: come out on top of, cause I don't think it
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: would hit the same if they lose that few and
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: they'd be like, damn, we lost this one. Now we're
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: going to do, Oh, I guess we're going to beat
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: up on some tag teams. It's not going to hit
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: the same.
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: And if they get beat the bloodline, come out on
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: top of that and then turn their attention to the
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: rest of the roster and start running a rough shot
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: over everybody, then you got something.
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: What are we looking at for the female side for
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: war games? Um, I got for Team Babyface, Stephanie Viqueira,
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: if she's back, Becky Lynch, EO Sky, Tiffany, and Chelsea.
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: The heel team, Liv Morgan, Raquel, Roxanne, Nikki Bella, and
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: Blake Monroe. That'd be my women's heel team right there.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: There's no big group that's dominating. I guess you could say.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: No, Fatal Influence.
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: Fatal Influence or.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Damage Control.
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just like these three woman teams. There's no
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: larger group, so it's three women and two random heels.
- 1:15:26Speaker 6: You even throw in Jade Cargill and the new female
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: tag champs. So, I don't know. It's... Intriguing where that
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: could go. Who has the United States, the Women's United
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: States title right now? I'm drawing a blank. Because Raquel... No.
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: Raquel has the Intercontinental, which she hasn't done jack shit
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: with since she's had it. She put some barbed wire
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: on it one week, took it off, and that was it.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Oh, yes. There you go.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, that's right, that's right. Because then they had
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: the tag titles. They had all the gold for, like,
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: all but five minutes. And then, yeah, then they lost
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: the tag titles.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: So.
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: And then on the men's side, Chad Gable has been,
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: you know, week after week, putting the IC title.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: On the line.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: And, um.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Still in the show every week.
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, every week, man. Putting that title on the line.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: He looks like he might be injured, which sucks because
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: he finally gets some gold. He's putting the title on
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: the line every week, putting on some stellar matches, making
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: it the workhorse title.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: Then, yeah, he gets hurt. Trick Williams, United States champion,
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: recently challenged Sami Zayn for a WWE title shot. And
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: I'm thinking to myself, if I was Sami Zayn, I
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: would have been like, fine. I'll put my title on
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: the line if you put your title on the line.
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: But no, we're not going to. That's too good of
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: a storyline right there. Title for title. They wouldn't do that.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: It's obvious that Trick's not going to win.
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Why would you do the obvious not going to win
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: and make him lose his title at the same time?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: A guy who doesn't need it.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: I still believe that he doesn't need the U.S.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Title.
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: He should have stayed on... Damn it. Who had it
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: before him? Who did he win it from? Because I
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: believe it should have stayed on Baron Corbin. Yeah, it
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: should have stayed on Baron Corbin. Because then Baron Corbin
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: could be running through a bunch of face wrestlers and
- 1:17:59Speaker 6: Trick Williams should be focusing more on the WWE title scene.
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: Instead of, he's bigger than the United States title, I think.
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: He's there, man. He's there.
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: Except he can't come out of, he can't lose a
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: feud to Baron Corbin and then focus on the WWE title.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: That kills his credibility.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: But you need that transition.
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: He needs to drop that title. Again, Baron Corbin's not
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: there to be that guy.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: He's there.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: I hate to steal from Michael Hayes right now, but
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: he's there to make the other people look good.
- 1:18:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: He is genuinely there to do that role. unlike Chelsea Green,
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: who can be that top person on her own. Baron
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: Corbin is genuinely enhancement talent at this point.
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: Bruce is that way, too.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: And that's not a knock on him.
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: No.
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: That's not a knock.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: Because he's the perfect type of guy to fulfill that
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: role because of how good of a worker he is.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: He gives those guys the reps with a pro that
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: can make them look good and give them much needed
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: in-ring experience to help them look better when they step
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: up to the next level.
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: Hmm.
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, he's going to be written off TV for
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: a couple weeks because, you know, Cody Rhodes punting him
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: in the head. And when Cody Rhodes punts you, you know,
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: you're out for a couple weeks. You know, same thing
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: with Orton punts you, except if Orton punts Cody Rhodes,
- 1:19:43Speaker 6: you're on Raw the next day with a black eye. But,
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: you know, yes, Baron Corbin will be out indefinitely due
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: to concussions and other issues to the head by Cody Rhodes. Yeah,
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: we still got that feud going on. By the way,
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: in case you're interested in that, Cody Rose and Orton.
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: We also have Bailey and Lyra still. They had a
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: street fight this week, but that feud is still going.
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: Hopefully it's the end of this feud. Hopefully it's done.
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: We can move on.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: I'm surprised Bailey won.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:20:27Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, it seems like her role now is
- 1:20:30Speaker 8: only to put people over.
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: But, I mean, I'm glad she won. I mean, she's
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: kind of been getting shit on for the past couple years,
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: it feels like. So, yeah, I was happy she won.
- 1:20:42Speaker 8: But I kind of thought the whole point of this
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: feud was to get Lyra over.
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: And then.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't know where.
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: The hell Lyra goes from here. This character's kind of
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: silly that she's doing. But, I mean, it's not... Not
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: any less silly than coming out with bird wings.
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: The problem with Lyra is the fans haven't connected to her.
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: It's kind of hard to get somebody over when the
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: fans aren't invested in her.
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: No, you're right. It sounds like people are sitting on
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: their hands.
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: At this point, fans still very much care more about
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: Bayley than they do Lyra.
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: Maybe they shouldn't have broken up the tag teams too soon.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: What else? I got really nothing else. Unless you guys
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: can think of anything in Raw or SmackDown this week
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: that That really stuck out. We almost got another cash-in
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: teaser by Tiffany Stratton, almost pinning Liv Morgan. I believed it.
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: I was excited. Didn't happen. Dominic was there pulling Liv out.
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: I was like, damn. Goddamn. So close.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Did not buy it for a second.
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: And once again, they continue to play in Chelsea Green's
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: face as the women's champion.
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: Although Chelsea Green this week did not do herself any
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: favors by coming out there looking like a local jobber.
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: Oh, oh.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: One, you the champ. You got to look like the champ.
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: I don't know what the fuck she was wearing when
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: she came out there this week.
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: What was that?
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: That shit looked like, right, that looked like some, you know,
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: I just started wrestling six months ago and I'm having
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: my first match outfit.
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: Looked like she was at the gym.
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: I don't know, her husband posted a video of her
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: running to the ring in that outfit in slow motion,
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: and I don't have the.
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: Same problem DeRay seems to have with it. That's all
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: I'm going to say.
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: Yeah, same.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I'm sure the physics were physicking.
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: I'm sure that was the case, but when I was
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: watching it, my initial thought was just, what the.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Fuck was she wearing?
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: No, I see your point. I was just breaking the stones.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: And then, of course, who gets the last run in? Tiffy.
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: So they're making the non-champion seem like the bigger deal than.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: The actual fucking champion. It feels like Chelsea.
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: Green's title reign is one of those here motherfuckers damn moments.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: Fans wouldn't shut up about Chelsea Green ever since Michael
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: Hayes said what he said on Unreal and so they
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: were just like fine here damn she's a champion you
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: happy but there's not gonna book her with the respect
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: of a champion.
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: Man it's harsh but probably true.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: She fucking lost she got pinned by Roxanne.
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: I know she's been getting treated pretty rough since she's
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: been champ uh I still hate to see Tiffany That's
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: kind of her character Her character always gets treated rough
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: She gets thrown in a dumpster That's kind of who
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: Chelsea Green is.
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: Yeah It's one thing for her to be treated rough
- 1:24:32Speaker 4: When she was like the heel Or the person helping
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: getting other people over But when she's the champion She
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: should be booked with a certain level of respect She's
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: still got the belt though Yeah I'm not saying they
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: have to make her like this overbearing, dominant person, but
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: compare her reign as women's champion right now to Sami
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: Zayn's reign as champion right now. Like, Sami Zayn is
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: being booked as a champion, but he's actually being booked
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: with a certain level of respect. Now, to Sami's credit,
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: he's also doing a lot of the work himself on
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: the mic and in the ring. He's also being given
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: the chance to do that, too, and he's making the
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: most of it. they're not really giving Chelsea those opportunities.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: They're still booking, they still book her like she's second
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: fiddle to everyone else she's in the ring with. And
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: not really giving herself, not really giving her a chance
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: in those moments to.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Rebut it.
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: And to be like, you may be booking me like
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: I'm second fiddle, But watch what I do in this work,
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: in this match, and watch what I do on this
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: mic to show you that, no, I'm actually top dog
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: Well, you know what? I was really excited when they
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: gave the title to Chelsea Green. It says... You have
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: those moments where you're really happy that the wrestler that
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: you've wanted for the longest time to finally get that gold.
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: You know, like when.
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: When Daniel Bryan finally won his title. When Sami Zayn
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: won his first title. You know, I was really happy
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: for him. You know, obviously when Cody Rhodes won his title.
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: I remember when Seth Rollins won his first, you know,
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: WWE title. How happy I was when Kevin Owens did.
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: A lot of guys are really happy for it. It's just....
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: How are they going to... Now that they have the title,
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: how are they going to handle them with it? And...
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: Sometimes that's a big Debbie Downer. Sometimes we get these
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: terrible title runs, and you just try not to think
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: of them, and they're kind of cringy, and you're like, okay, well,
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: maybe they'll lose the title, and then creative will think
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: of a better thing to do with them once they
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: have the gold. Some guys just get protected way more
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: than others, way more than others when they have the gold.
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: It's just a shame that they don't do that with Chelsea.
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: Protect her enough. It makes me think, yeah, they just
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: don't take her as serious as their champ. But it
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: is her first time around, so we'll see. I got
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: nothing else, guys. I got nothing.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: I'm all out.
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: I got nothing. I got nothing to bring. Tyler was
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: going to be on this episode, but we got him
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: a laptop. He's all set up. He came over to
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: my house. We set up the software. He's got the microphone.
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: He's got the headset. He's got everything, man. He's ready.
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: But he also has kids. So he couldn't find somebody
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: to watch the kids tonight. And I was like, you know,
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: it was like within the hour of the show. And
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: I was like, I get it, bro. I get it.
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: You have kids. I don't have kids. I have cats.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: Not the same thing. But I get it, bro. You're busy. So,
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: but the fact is, is like, now that he does
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: have a setup, you know, we could expect pump out, uh,
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: more episodes, you know, like why, if we can get
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: two or three people, you know, and the idea is, uh,
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: when I'm away or when you guys want to just
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: get together and talk wrestling, Tyler is available more than
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: I am sometimes. And he's open. to, you know, an episode.
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: You know what I mean? If you guys are interested,
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: you guys want to do an episode, Tyler's available. Go
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: for it, you know?
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Right on. Right on.
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: Dude, absolutely. I don't know what else to... I also
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: want to bring up, oh, you know what? When I
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: was up in East Providence, Rhode Island area, I was
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: looking for an action figure store because I like collecting
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: action figures. It's an unhealthy obsession in my house. Now,
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: I think we talked about this before, like why I
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: don't collect. I collect Marvel, DC, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, whatever.
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: cars but I don't do professional wrestlers and the reason
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: is because I would feel the need to have to
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: have every version of that wrestler I like Triple H
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: for example I would need how many versions of Triple
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: H to satisfy the idea of having enough of that
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: collection so I couldn't do it so I just stay
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: out of that Pandora's box I think that also goes
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: up there with Pop's I have two pop figures. Both
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: are from Dwayne Coleman, a listener of the show. A
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: Triple H and a Shawn Michaels DX pop. But I
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: will not buy pops. I will not invest. That will
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: be out of control. That's a rabbit hole I don't
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: want to go down. But anyway, what I'm getting at
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: is this action figure store that I found in East Providence.
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: Dark Star Comics and action figures. It was in East Providence.
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: It's pronounced Dark Star.
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: Dark Star.
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: That's better. You know, he has a– I went in there.
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: I was shooting the shit with him for a while.
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: He has a bunch of wrestling action figures. He says
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: there's several AEW wrestlers have stopped in there in the past.
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: He's a big wrestling fan. You know, I tell him
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: I give him a shout out. I bought some action
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: figures off him. He gave me a sweet deal. So
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: if you're ever in East Providence, look up Dark Star
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: action figures. I did post. I made a post on
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: my social media. I bought an Iron Man and an
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: Omega Red action figure, and I left the link. But
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: he does follow us now as a listener. So thank you.
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: thank you for listening. Thank you for joining.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: Now, now that, uh, uh, you probably got all the
- 1:31:32Speaker 7: way to the end of the episode until I mentioned,
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: you know, your, your, uh, your, your store, but yeah, yeah.
- 1:31:41Speaker 6: If you, if you like getting that wrestling action figures,
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: it's a pretty decently sized place, you know, so check
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: it out. Uh, I got nothing else, man. We plugged
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: the podcast. You can find us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook,
- 1:32:01Speaker 6: and the YouTube. You can find us everywhere. It's Podcast
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: Championship Wrestling. That's it, guys. Dre, you want to plug anything?
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: Or did I already say everything that needed to be said?
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you kind of already did it.
- 1:32:19Speaker 6: All right. Sorry to steal your thunder.
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: Doyle!
- 1:32:22Speaker 8: Thank you for saying what needed to be said.
- 1:32:24Speaker 6: Yeah. And, uh.
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: Uh, well, I would say... I would say, uh... Get out.
- 1:32:33Speaker 5: I won't tell you who to vote for. Democrats. But, uh,
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: get out and vote next week. If you haven't already.
- 1:32:39Speaker 5: People fought and died for this shit.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: Go vote.
- 1:32:43Speaker 5: Hmm.
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: The fifth man.
- 1:32:47Speaker 5: Yeah!
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: You are the world's dumbest son of a bitch.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: The fact that day in and day out, for almost
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: six years, I have proved to everybody in the world
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: that I am the best on this microphone, in that ring,
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: even in commentary.
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: Nobody can touch me. You are not ready for Oscars!
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: Because the street profits are up and we want the smoke!
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: You're next!
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: Talk about your songs, talk about John 316.
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: Austin 316 says I just whipped your ass. Well, let
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: me tell you.
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: Something, brother.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: New Day!
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: New Day! Cream will rise to the top. Oh, yeah.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: My true madness here.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: Welcome to the Kevin Owens Show.
- 1:33:59Speaker 5: Lately, he just hasn't been very ooshy.
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: Because I'm the Miz, and I'm... Those rotten bastards.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: Bye-bye, bitch.
