- 0:40Speaker 1: Artists on Artists on Artists. This week the Barbie movie,
- 0:44Speaker 1: the Polypocket Movie. These movies have one thing in common.
- 0:48Speaker 1: They're produced in part by corporations.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Corporations are finally making their way into cinema after a
- 0:55Speaker 2: long awaited foray. They've made such creative characters, interesting choices,
- 0:59Speaker 2: and now it's time to see those on the silver screen.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Movies are art, but sometimes they don't need to be,
- 1:06Speaker 3: because corporations can get into it too.
- 1:11Speaker 4: So take out your corporations and buy a movie ticket.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Let's listen in.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm excited to talk because like we don't talk about
- 1:20Speaker 2: movies like this, like with other people. So like me
- 1:22Speaker 2: and my partner, like we're really stoked to be here.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, this is so awesome.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I literally can't wait to for everyone to go around
- 1:29Speaker 4: and talk about their movie.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It's awesome. You're freaking freaking out. Chill out, man, Okay.
- 1:35Speaker 6: And more than the movies, I'm very excited to discuss
- 1:38Speaker 6: the products they represent, because products make the world go round.
- 1:43Speaker 6: What the thing we say over here is is products
- 1:46Speaker 6: is profits. And sometimes movie can just be a way
- 1:51Speaker 6: to get you did that?
- 1:55Speaker 2: How are you guys? Like, maybe you guys should tell us,
- 1:57Speaker 2: like who you are on link, what movie you made?
- 1:59Speaker 7: Let's all go oh yea yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Well my name is Scott Scottsdale. I am Dale Scottsdale,
- 2:07Speaker 6: and we are, of course.
- 2:08Speaker 7: The famous Scottsdale Brothers.
- 2:11Speaker 8: We worked very hard to inherit Sham.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:14Speaker 7: He inherited the entire corporation and IP of Sham. Waited
- 2:19Speaker 7: patiently as our father passed away. God he took a
- 2:23Speaker 7: long time.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Now we have Sham wou and we are acquiring scrub
- 2:27Speaker 6: Daddy and some other things as well. I'm working specifically
- 2:31Speaker 6: on acquiring the ped egg and I am working on
- 2:35Speaker 6: acquiring regular eggs just for my fridge.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I wasn't aware that sham Wow was old enough to
- 2:42Speaker 1: be inherited, oh generation around pasthaway.
- 2:48Speaker 7: You know, it's really you know, the infommercial really brought
- 2:54Speaker 7: light to the ShamWow.
- 2:55Speaker 8: But we've been around ninety.
- 2:57Speaker 6: It's a long it's a legacy product. Yes, it's gone
- 3:02Speaker 6: through a couple of different names, couple little rebrand the
- 3:06Speaker 6: scrub wall and the cup. But the ship, oh yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 6: that one didn't stick. That was in the early nineteen hundred.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Whush cup interesting because it's not a cup, is it's Well.
- 3:21Speaker 7: That's why it didn't stick. It's one of the reasons.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Now you guys. So you guys are actually brothers?
- 3:27Speaker 7: Oh yeah, where the Scott still brother?
- 3:28Speaker 8: Scottis Scott still brother?
- 3:30Speaker 5: Amazing? And and who's older?
- 3:32Speaker 7: And well we're Irish twins. A mother couldn't keep a
- 3:36Speaker 7: leg shut. We were born on the.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Okay, so which one is?
- 3:41Speaker 7: So sorry?
- 3:42Speaker 3: We love women.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Sorry, I'm so sorry I forgot rebranding women.
- 3:46Speaker 8: What we need for the box office.
- 3:48Speaker 7: We now love women.
- 3:49Speaker 6: Sorry, Oh I get that.
- 3:51Speaker 5: I get that.
- 3:52Speaker 8: Totally found out they go to the movies.
- 3:54Speaker 2: That's awesome. Like I did want to just kind of
- 3:56Speaker 2: reiterate that, like even though you are Irish twins, you
- 3:59Speaker 2: know one of you is older because you did mention
- 4:01Speaker 2: eleven months different. So I just wanted to know who
- 4:03Speaker 2: is older.
- 4:04Speaker 8: Right, So we're Irish twins.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Eleven Irish twins is one of the two siblings were
- 4:09Speaker 6: born in the same year I was born, for example,
- 4:14Speaker 6: in eleven months apart from when I was born.
- 4:16Speaker 7: And one of us was in January, when one of
- 4:18Speaker 7: us was in December.
- 4:20Speaker 6: And so our mother her thought was her legs, I'll
- 4:23Speaker 6: just stop one out, I'll pop one out in January,
- 4:27Speaker 6: and then I'll get and I'll open my legs right away,
- 4:30Speaker 6: right away at the end of it, because she's a
- 4:32Speaker 6: girl boss and she can then I can, right.
- 4:34Speaker 7: And that's and that's what we've learned, were like.
- 4:37Speaker 5: A little bit of press press tutoring.
- 4:40Speaker 7: That's god, is what we learned.
- 4:41Speaker 8: From watching most of the Body movie.
- 4:43Speaker 5: That's awesome.
- 4:44Speaker 4: So if you had to say which one might be
- 4:49Speaker 4: the eldest son exactly would you say.
- 4:53Speaker 7: Say that one hundred percent you agree?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Okay, cool?
- 4:56Speaker 7: Cool, And we've been brothers a whole lot, especially since
- 5:01Speaker 7: we've been Irish tweet.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Yeah, so anyway, what's what's you guys for You guys, well.
- 5:10Speaker 1: We can well, I guess we're all different here, different ages.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm forty eight and my husband here is well, I'm
- 5:21Speaker 1: sure he'll just tell you because he loves to butt in.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Well, I'm fifty one and I'm not trying to butt in.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I felt like you just gave me an opportunity to
- 5:29Speaker 3: speak there, so I took it.
- 5:32Speaker 1: No excuse me for being accustomed to doing that, Dale, So,
- 5:38Speaker 1: but we shouldn't excuse.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Me, Margaret for offending you yet again with my presence.
- 5:44Speaker 3: So it's not.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Your presence, Dale, it's what you do with it.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You guys are like super fun, Like what movie are
- 5:51Speaker 2: you working on?
- 5:53Speaker 5: What a freaking blast?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Actually fun?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Thank you? We are. We are known for our fun
- 5:59Speaker 3: with our friends. Were kind of our funnest friends in
- 6:01Speaker 3: the friend group.
- 6:03Speaker 2: We are part of.
- 6:03Speaker 1: The jokers of We were both voted class clown. You
- 6:07Speaker 1: know how they have a boy and a girl version
- 6:10Speaker 1: of each person in high school. We were high school
- 6:13Speaker 1: sweethearts fell in love at first sight.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Not last site, not the last site for sure?
- 6:20Speaker 1: Wow, why don't we tell them about the movie, or
- 6:23Speaker 1: why don't you tell them since you'd love to do that.
- 6:27Speaker 9: First, first, I can't tell which son's the oldest, and
- 6:30Speaker 9: then I can't stop freaking laughing my face off with
- 6:34Speaker 9: these two the odd couple over here.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Bro, we got lucky to be here.
- 6:40Speaker 3: I feel like we're actually not an odd couple. Were
- 6:42Speaker 3: actually a very normal couple.
- 6:44Speaker 1: We're actually a very normal couple. Sure, And despite all
- 6:48Speaker 1: the comedy bits that we're doing, we're actually here to
- 6:50Speaker 1: talk about our careers. Okay, So we produced the zany
- 6:55Speaker 1: wacky children's comedy soccer Boppers or as Dale. I used
- 7:01Speaker 1: to call them sockhem Bophams.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Well I thought for ten years they were called sock
- 7:07Speaker 3: eem bopams. And now I'm having a Mendela thing happen,
- 7:11Speaker 3: where now it's been revealed to me that they're actually
- 7:15Speaker 3: soccer boppers.
- 7:16Speaker 5: And are they really?
- 7:18Speaker 1: No?
- 7:18Speaker 2: I think actually, like I think you guys have like
- 7:20Speaker 2: split it kind of in half, and I think it's
- 7:23Speaker 2: soccer boppers.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Well that's what I thought too, But I just know
- 7:30Speaker 3: I looked it up wrecked, Dale, I just looked now
- 7:34Speaker 3: here we go again.
- 7:36Speaker 8: I thought you guys looked it up.
- 7:39Speaker 3: We looked it up.
- 7:40Speaker 8: How did you do this?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Do you know what they called the Internet?
- 7:47Speaker 1: I'll we transparent with you since you are so curious.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Dale and I made this movie over Skype beginning in
- 7:54Speaker 1: two thousand and seven. Then once the technology advanced over
- 7:58Speaker 1: zoom in the twenty twenties, we made this movie without
- 8:01Speaker 1: being in the same room, despite being married, because we
- 8:05Speaker 1: felt it was best for the film. We have looked
- 8:09Speaker 1: up different product listings. I found one from Walmart dot
- 8:13Speaker 1: com that clearly says sucker boppers. I said it to
- 8:18Speaker 1: you via text, and you don't believe me.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I don't believe you because I don't trust text messages.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I don't know what they are.
- 8:25Speaker 7: I know.
- 8:26Speaker 6: Okay, now here's the thing, Dale, I think is very
- 8:31Speaker 6: marketable of you to be letting your wife speak speak
- 8:37Speaker 6: with you.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And it's very Barbie and we love.
- 8:42Speaker 8: Women now and anyway, that's that's all from us.
- 8:45Speaker 6: And I also, you know, I feel a kinship because
- 8:47Speaker 6: we are both Dale.
- 8:49Speaker 8: That's true.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I feel like that's interesting that my husband, Dale, after
- 8:56Speaker 1: you introduced yourselves as Dale. I wonder how we got there.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Very interesting, But it's not strange for two men to
- 9:03Speaker 3: be named Dale.
- 9:04Speaker 7: I don't know that's strange for two men to do anything.
- 9:06Speaker 6: It's not too strange for two men to be brothers.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Sixty nine, that's definitely not strange. I will say, that's
- 9:13Speaker 3: definitely not strange for two men to be brothers. I
- 9:15Speaker 3: will say that.
- 9:17Speaker 8: You guys live in the same house.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Okay, we live in the same house, but different sections
- 9:21Speaker 3: of it.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yes, we have it walled off so that we're on
- 9:25Speaker 1: different Wi Fi, so that we'd ever kick each other
- 9:28Speaker 1: off the Wi Fi to be on zooms with each other.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So it's basically like we're in different states.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Weirdness.
- 9:34Speaker 7: Have you guys ever seen each other's faces or just
- 9:36Speaker 7: on the screens?
- 9:37Speaker 3: Every once in a while, I run out, run into
- 9:40Speaker 3: her outside, and we have a very colloquial high hello wife,
- 9:45Speaker 3: maybe a kiss on the cheek, a kiss on the mouth. Oh,
- 9:47Speaker 3: and then we keep.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Going yes, and we are trying to.
- 9:53Speaker 3: We're trying to work through it. Well, we go to
- 9:55Speaker 3: marriage counseling.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Oh, this sounds like it fucking sucks.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about. We made up
- 10:03Speaker 3: a really really good movie. We made a fantastic movie
- 10:07Speaker 3: and it doesn't suck. It's just life.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Yes, And one of the things that we're talking about
- 10:12Speaker 1: in marriage counseling is how to stop having so much
- 10:16Speaker 1: fun all the time, because sometimes we need to talk
- 10:19Speaker 1: about serious things. Mm hmm.
- 10:21Speaker 3: But we're not here to talk about our marriage. We're
- 10:23Speaker 3: here to talk about the amazing sockham sockem bopham.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm not doing this again.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I'm not doing this sockham bopper. I knew it was
- 10:33Speaker 3: sock em bopem.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So like like I actually story actually just looked at
- 10:39Speaker 2: my droid real quick and like I did notice that.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Uh turns out that like it was called sockam boppers
- 10:44Speaker 2: and then Mattel sued the company that made them and
- 10:46Speaker 2: turned it into soccer boppers. Like so like, so I
- 10:48Speaker 2: think you guys are both right, like and I wonder
- 10:50Speaker 2: if that can be part of your life.
- 10:51Speaker 3: So it was a Mandela thing. Mandela was behind it. Nelson,
- 10:55Speaker 3: Mandela was behind this.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You are such a narcissist. Do you think Aboutella has
- 11:00Speaker 1: the time of day to give to you.
- 11:03Speaker 3: I'm just saying, I'm just saying, maybe he does, because
- 11:07Speaker 3: it does seem like Nelson Mandela did something here. We
- 11:10Speaker 3: just found that out. It's tough when I speak and
- 11:12Speaker 3: you don't believe anything I say. Who else is here?
- 11:15Speaker 1: You're pathetic? Who else is here?
- 11:17Speaker 7: God? This sucks?
- 11:19Speaker 2: Hey, come on, man, Like we've been through worse. Like
- 11:22Speaker 2: we don't have to like, we don't have to act
- 11:23Speaker 2: like that. Like my name is Scoby. My name is Scoby.
- 11:28Speaker 1: What's up?
- 11:28Speaker 2: I'm Hester And we are the creators of the AutoZone movie,
- 11:34Speaker 2: which were like super fucking stoked about.
- 11:37Speaker 5: So it's actually a crazy story. It's a crazy storytelling
- 11:41Speaker 5: so crazy.
- 11:43Speaker 9: No, you tell him, you know, I get freaking nervous,
- 11:45Speaker 9: and my teeth get talented, my teeth get really slippery,
- 11:48Speaker 9: and I can't talk.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I get you get slippery, and then your freaking tongue
- 11:52Speaker 2: like falls out of your mouth. Okay, So, like what
- 11:55Speaker 2: happened was like we were both working at AutoZone in
- 11:59Speaker 2: uh we were working in AutoZone in northern Nevada, and
- 12:04Speaker 2: we were hanging out and there was a big snowstorm
- 12:06Speaker 2: and so like me and Hester like are the best friends,
- 12:10Speaker 2: like when we work at AutoZone, and like we have
- 12:12Speaker 2: so much fun together. And like we build like this
- 12:15Speaker 2: whole world and we play games and stuff, cause like
- 12:18Speaker 2: not everyone comes into AutoZone all the time, you guys
- 12:20Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 12:21Speaker 4: Yeah, AutoZone, How did you guys get this movie?
- 12:26Speaker 2: So I get ready, get ready for that.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Get ready, get ready because get ready for my teeth
- 12:32Speaker 5: to dry because it's a crazy story.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really crazy. When your teeth dry, you're gonna
- 12:36Speaker 2: have blow everyone's mind. So what happened was like we
- 12:38Speaker 2: were hanging out and it was a snowstorm, and we
- 12:40Speaker 2: like to create like this little world for ourselves when
- 12:43Speaker 2: it's just me and Hester, Like like, Hester's actually my
- 12:46Speaker 2: favorite person to be on a shift with. I love
- 12:48Speaker 2: working with Hester. There's this other guy, Bug that I
- 12:50Speaker 2: work with that I don't like, and he's actually the
- 12:52Speaker 2: villain in our story. But regardless, irregardless, Like, so we
- 12:56Speaker 2: were hanging out and like we were just like fucking
- 12:59Speaker 2: around and it is a blizzard and no one's coming in,
- 13:01Speaker 2: and this guy came in to get snow tires, and uh,
- 13:05Speaker 2: we were selling him to him, but we were like
- 13:07Speaker 2: in the middle of our game, and he was like
- 13:09Speaker 2: this is actually really interesting. I'm the CEO of Auto zone,
- 13:13Speaker 2: and we're like, fuck what.
- 13:14Speaker 5: We didn't know that. So we didn't know that.
- 13:16Speaker 4: We didn't know just putting we're just putting chains on
- 13:18Speaker 4: his tires and we had no freaking clue.
- 13:20Speaker 5: And sometimes sometimes when we're when we're so in the zone,
- 13:23Speaker 5: we go, we're in the zone, let's get in the autos.
- 13:30Speaker 3: So just to fad fast forward a little bit. Was
- 13:32Speaker 3: this guy important? Was he a big filmmaker or something.
- 13:35Speaker 2: That the CEO of auto Zone? Yeah? Absolutely so he
- 13:38Speaker 2: was in charge of we.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Were listening soccer boker Dale Auto.
- 13:41Speaker 1: He was the CEO of AUTI never fucking does God
- 13:46Speaker 1: this sucks right here?
- 13:47Speaker 2: No no, no, no no.
- 13:49Speaker 7: They seemed like a delight continue.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Thank you so much, twins. So
- 13:55Speaker 2: we were like we we were told, hey, like if
- 13:59Speaker 2: you guys, if it doesn't interfere with your work, like,
- 14:02Speaker 2: would you guys want to work on the movie. So
- 14:04Speaker 2: we were like sure, So like we get to hang
- 14:07Speaker 2: out in our off time and we wrote this movie together.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And and it's basically like what if AutoZone was a
- 14:12Speaker 2: whole world?
- 14:13Speaker 1: And can I ask you still have these jobs? Are
- 14:17Speaker 1: you paid hourly AutoZone wages? Or are you paid Hollywood
- 14:22Speaker 1: script wages.
- 14:23Speaker 2: We're paying hourly wages for the Auto Zone as as
- 14:26Speaker 2: auto Yeah, as I had mentioned, like, they were like,
- 14:28Speaker 2: if you want to do this for fun in your
- 14:30Speaker 2: free time, so that's what you've been up to.
- 14:32Speaker 4: What was crazy though, is that like the CEO of
- 14:34Speaker 4: AutoZone flew us to Hollywood and he like introduced us
- 14:38Speaker 4: to a bunch of screenwriters. And it was crazy because
- 14:40Speaker 4: we actually didn't really realize that we love we love
- 14:44Speaker 4: movies a lot, and we do. We got to talk,
- 14:46Speaker 4: we got to talk to like filmmakers and my favorite
- 14:49Speaker 4: movie is Francis Hall.
- 14:51Speaker 2: And yeah, my movie, my favorite movie is Robots Roots.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Yeah, so and.
- 14:59Speaker 4: It was interesting because we didn't realize that we're not
- 15:01Speaker 4: filmmakers first, we're Auto Zone.
- 15:04Speaker 5: We're automakers first.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Exactly. They put us up somewhere nice by the way
- 15:07Speaker 2: in Hollywood. They put us up in that hotel in
- 15:10Speaker 2: Burbank that has the elevator on the outside of the building.
- 15:13Speaker 5: It was absolutely crazy.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yes, crazy.
- 15:17Speaker 5: We got milkshakes at Bob's Big Boy.
- 15:19Speaker 2: And they paid for them, by the way, they paid.
- 15:22Speaker 5: For them as crazy anyway.
- 15:23Speaker 4: So it was just it was really cool and I
- 15:25Speaker 4: think it was all because of like these the Barbie movie.
- 15:29Speaker 4: I would have to say, like that, we like that
- 15:31Speaker 4: they're bringing in, they're letting people, they're just interested in
- 15:35Speaker 4: what like the AutoZone stories have to tell?
- 15:40Speaker 8: Are you guys gonna be credited?
- 15:43Speaker 7: You guys gonna be credited on the movie?
- 15:45Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 15:46Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 15:47Speaker 7: Are you gonna okay, like, are you gonna get credits
- 15:49Speaker 7: in them? On the screen? With you means written?
- 15:53Speaker 4: Well, I don't know. The elevator at the hotel was
- 15:55Speaker 4: on the outside of the hotel.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Exactly, Yeah, I think so.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm only going to be blunt with you right now.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You need to get a lawyer immediately.
- 16:04Speaker 3: You need to get a lawyer. We know a couple
- 16:06Speaker 3: of good divorced lawyers that probably couldn't help in this situation.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I don't mess with you couldn't really help in our situation.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Still together, you two suck and I don't want any
- 16:18Speaker 4: of that that like hate.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Lawyers are cheats, Lawyers are liars, Lawyers are like lawyers
- 16:23Speaker 2: are disgusting, like and I won't be in the same
- 16:26Speaker 2: room as a lawyer.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Okay, Well, we tried to help you, is that we
- 16:32Speaker 1: at the Shamwaw movie.
- 16:34Speaker 7: The thing we're discovering.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Women were discovering the rocks.
- 16:39Speaker 5: We will learn that rocks.
- 16:41Speaker 7: We don't need to be writers to write, Nope. We
- 16:44Speaker 7: don't need to be women to women women.
- 16:46Speaker 6: We don't need to be bisexual to panic, Nope, we.
- 16:50Speaker 8: We are panicking bisexual.
- 16:53Speaker 7: You can have bisexual panic without being bisexual. Learning.
- 16:57Speaker 8: We saw when we saw.
- 16:58Speaker 7: The Bobby really watched most of them.
- 17:01Speaker 8: We did.
- 17:01Speaker 6: We were in the bathroom for thirty forty minutes the
- 17:05Speaker 6: whole movies, Like what shot out? Minute?
- 17:08Speaker 8: We were there?
- 17:09Speaker 1: What were you doing in the bathroom?
- 17:11Speaker 7: We had not nothing.
- 17:12Speaker 8: It's not your business what I do in the bathroom.
- 17:15Speaker 7: We didn't do excuse anything.
- 17:17Speaker 6: When I go into a bathroom stall with my brother,
- 17:20Speaker 6: it is not your business.
- 17:21Speaker 8: It was bathroom stall to ask for what to ask?
- 17:26Speaker 6: If we're writers, you have no business doing We I
- 17:29Speaker 6: got this neck breaks, You have no business.
- 17:31Speaker 7: We wo something happened?
- 17:33Speaker 5: Whoa brothers something? Something just happened.
- 17:36Speaker 3: We just yeah, we did not mean to a fan
- 17:38Speaker 3: like it looks like a trigger. It looked like a trigger.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Look like a trigger.
- 17:43Speaker 6: No, here's the thing, here's the thing we're learning. We're
- 17:45Speaker 6: learning so we can profit and help we Last night
- 17:50Speaker 6: we wrote the whole script. Last night, I wrote it
- 17:52Speaker 6: the whole We stayed up all night. We got so excited,
- 17:55Speaker 6: and we're going into production tonight night.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Oh congrats. I would love to.
- 18:00Speaker 3: I would love to the movie.
- 18:03Speaker 8: The thing we really wanted to achieve in this movie
- 18:06Speaker 8: is God, this is so hard. This is so hard.
- 18:08Speaker 7: Okay, okay.
- 18:09Speaker 6: So the thing about it is, we watched the Barbie film.
- 18:11Speaker 6: It's the first time ever in history women have come
- 18:14Speaker 6: to the theater. So women are coming to the theater.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Theater than who told you that?
- 18:21Speaker 7: Read the reviews on right part.
- 18:23Speaker 8: You read all the reviews and they say.
- 18:26Speaker 7: The theaters and they and they say, and what is
- 18:29Speaker 7: what is happening?
- 18:30Speaker 6: So the thing about it is women. She's the days
- 18:34Speaker 6: and the gaze. They own it, they own the theater.
- 18:38Speaker 6: You have to get the game. So so sham Wow
- 18:42Speaker 6: wakes up in I don't know, a pink house brothel,
- 18:47Speaker 6: and sham wow is now she wow Wow Wow, She's wow.
- 18:53Speaker 7: Sham woman, sham woman.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I think I saw the on deadline when they announced it.
- 18:59Speaker 1: A picture of she Wow. It's just a pink towel
- 19:02Speaker 1: with some googly eyes and their eyes aren't really aligned.
- 19:06Speaker 3: No.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I saw that on Deadline too.
- 19:09Speaker 6: But it is voiced by Jeffrey Tambo and it's Beau.
- 19:14Speaker 7: He's one of our neighbors.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Oh, you guys got him, huh Like it wasn't hard
- 19:17Speaker 2: to get him.
- 19:18Speaker 6: We didn't get him that he is aware of, but
- 19:23Speaker 6: recorded him saying you were able to make those into
- 19:27Speaker 6: the line.
- 19:27Speaker 7: But that's what AI is following.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Oh so you sat outside his house and sort of
- 19:34Speaker 1: put a recording devices that? Am I getting that right?
- 19:36Speaker 8: Honey?
- 19:37Speaker 6: Miss honey, I wouldn't say we sat outside of his
- 19:40Speaker 6: house as much we live outside of his house. What
- 19:46Speaker 6: we live in a shed next door to his house.
- 19:49Speaker 6: We are technically neighbors by squatter's rights and.
- 19:52Speaker 7: With Chill Jill, did.
- 19:54Speaker 6: We inherit a large sum of sham wow money and
- 19:57Speaker 6: blow it.
- 19:57Speaker 7: On a lot of things.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Absolutely, And it's okay because what we do in the.
- 20:04Speaker 8: Bathroom is none of your pistols.
- 20:05Speaker 4: We didn't bring that up, bro, No one, No one
- 20:08Speaker 4: asked about the bathroom again.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Sorry I thought I heard someone is gay or something.
- 20:13Speaker 7: Hold on, Sorry wrote the whole time.
- 20:17Speaker 6: So the thing about it is inan barbie, the bisexuals
- 20:20Speaker 6: are in the theater, going who do I look at?
- 20:22Speaker 6: Do I look at the girl and the boy? They're
- 20:23Speaker 6: both so pretty? So we decided the she wow is
- 20:27Speaker 6: the girl, and obviously the scrub daddy is giving.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Mother and is giving you.
- 20:34Speaker 6: Who are the bisexuals going to look at what they're
- 20:36Speaker 6: gonna look at?
- 20:37Speaker 7: They'll probably just spend the whole my panicking.
- 20:42Speaker 6: And we'll be rich again. We're gonna be rich from
- 20:45Speaker 6: the bisexuals and the women.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Now, are you worried about the sort of medical implications
- 20:51Speaker 1: of causing a theater full of bisexuals to panic?
- 20:54Speaker 6: Or are you going to know once once they buy
- 20:58Speaker 6: the tickets, it's out of our fucking hand.
- 21:00Speaker 8: Let me tell you.
- 21:00Speaker 6: If they splush on those seats, we've got some sham
- 21:03Speaker 6: wowse to drive it up.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Okay, so your movie is a girl, a girl ShamWow
- 21:12Speaker 3: and a mother scrub daddy.
- 21:14Speaker 7: Well we have to figure we can wait.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Is the scrub daddy the mother or is it just
- 21:18Speaker 1: giving mother? Because there's a different stale. This is slang.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Oh well, I'm trying my best here, Margaret. I'm trying
- 21:25Speaker 3: my best here, so not an ally.
- 21:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not sensing it's not giving ally for me.
- 21:33Speaker 6: What I think is we're going to be doing there
- 21:36Speaker 6: there and they wake up in the pink house.
- 21:38Speaker 7: And what did they clean?
- 21:40Speaker 6: They have to clean everything, but it's not a woman's
- 21:43Speaker 6: job to clean, and they have to.
- 21:44Speaker 7: Clean up the patriarchy.
- 21:49Speaker 6: And we have no association with the Old sham Wou host.
- 21:53Speaker 7: He will not be a Vince offer.
- 21:56Speaker 6: The old sham Wow spokesperson will enter jail for punching
- 22:00Speaker 6: a prostitute in the face, repeatedly, will not be in
- 22:03Speaker 6: the story.
- 22:05Speaker 5: We do not know him.
- 22:08Speaker 2: You guys him.
- 22:11Speaker 7: With him all in person. We don't have a text chain.
- 22:15Speaker 6: And I will say the prostitute went to jail too,
- 22:21Speaker 6: So both sides just saying people on both.
- 22:25Speaker 7: Sides they say she bit his tongue off or something.
- 22:29Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 22:30Speaker 6: But the movie is about destroying the patriarchy, not in it.
- 22:34Speaker 7: And we have to tell everyone that because that's the
- 22:36Speaker 7: number one question.
- 22:37Speaker 8: We get asked.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I have another question, and it's that you said the
- 22:42Speaker 1: she wows are cleaning things. Are there human hands that
- 22:45Speaker 1: are operating the she wows like puppets or do the
- 22:47Speaker 1: she woves have their own smaller little towel that they used.
- 22:50Speaker 6: To be.
- 22:53Speaker 7: So many questions done from a woman with power.
- 22:58Speaker 3: My god, oh boys, I don't.
- 23:02Speaker 6: As of now, we're thinking fishing wire to make the
- 23:06Speaker 6: shi Woo operate on its own.
- 23:07Speaker 7: We're going into production to tonight.
- 23:10Speaker 2: I actually, just to clarify, I do not believe that
- 23:13Speaker 2: question was a production question. I think it was a
- 23:14Speaker 2: plot question. So the fishing wire does not answer the question, right, fish.
- 23:20Speaker 5: That's Gooby body film.
- 23:23Speaker 1: NERD would fire a character in the film we were
- 23:26Speaker 1: born eleven months apart.
- 23:28Speaker 5: That's not the question. That's not the question, And it's fishing.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Wire in a movie. So the thing I think is,
- 23:35Speaker 7: you know, it's not really about what the movie's about.
- 23:37Speaker 7: That's not what anyone's doing in the bath, as much.
- 23:40Speaker 8: As it's about what the movie makes you feel.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Money money, Okay.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So like Anandale, what is your movie about?
- 23:50Speaker 3: Well? Uh, this is, well, you know what, I'll let
- 23:53Speaker 3: my wife speak.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Well, I don't want to speak. If you're just giving me.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Charity jail, it's not charity.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Charity, let your wife speak.
- 24:01Speaker 3: It's not charity, it's obligation. I'm obligated to let you speak.
- 24:04Speaker 3: At this point.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Well, great, I'm glad that someone is holding a gun
- 24:07Speaker 1: to your head to let me talk.
- 24:09Speaker 3: I wish I wish they were holding a gun to
- 24:12Speaker 3: my head because I beg them to pull the fucking trigger.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Hey, guys, you want to look at these half about
- 24:17Speaker 2: these washers? Sorry, that's the instinctut of couples of fighting ads,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and I just try to tell them to look at
- 24:21Speaker 2: the washers.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Scooby.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Scooby, Sorry, yeah, sorry, I just said, I'm like, hey,
- 24:28Speaker 2: look at the washers, look at the washer, look at
- 24:32Speaker 2: the wifers. Usually it gets them talking about something else
- 24:34Speaker 2: at least.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Well, we'll just go into the movie. Soccer Boppers aka
- 24:40Speaker 1: socker Bopam's is about two Christian boys who soccer bopper
- 24:45Speaker 1: each other to death on the top of a building.
- 24:48Speaker 3: What it's one location, hour and a half movie character.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Is it a Wonner? Are you guys doing a Warner?
- 25:01Speaker 1: One shot, one location, two actors, You guys buried the
- 25:06Speaker 1: lead here.
- 25:09Speaker 3: It's much more in depth than that, though, because they're
- 25:13Speaker 3: not necessarily fighting about I mean, on the surface, it
- 25:17Speaker 3: can look like two Christian boys fighting to kill each
- 25:20Speaker 3: other on a rooftop, but if you dive deep into
- 25:22Speaker 3: the subtext as an artist. It's really a metaphor for
- 25:25Speaker 3: people losing their religion in the struggle of what it
- 25:29Speaker 3: means to be a young child at a certain age
- 25:32Speaker 3: in a violent, violent world.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Are you too? Are you two Christian?
- 25:38Speaker 7: No? Do you to connect with these boys trying to
- 25:41Speaker 7: kill each other on a roof?
- 25:42Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a question.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I would say. One of us did write one of
- 25:47Speaker 3: the boys, and the other one did write the other boy.
- 25:50Speaker 7: You didn't like write all the lines together, You like took.
- 25:53Speaker 6: You like.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Recorded transcer zooms of the two of us interacting with
- 26:02Speaker 1: each other and just wrote them into the script. And
- 26:07Speaker 1: we thought that we'd have to change more than we did.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Wow, became the basis for the script and ended up
- 26:13Speaker 3: becoming just the script. A lot of our zoom calls
- 26:16Speaker 3: and conversations, so so I work out our therapist.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Well, we were just shocked at how much of our
- 26:25Speaker 1: zooms included the phrase I know you are, but what
- 26:28Speaker 1: am I? And that played perfectly into the way that
- 26:32Speaker 1: these teen Christian boys were struggling in the way. And
- 26:36Speaker 1: I think the sheer amount of times that I say
- 26:39Speaker 1: Oh God in a day made them Christian. They weren't
- 26:43Speaker 1: Christian before.
- 26:45Speaker 3: The amount of times in a day. We're talking and
- 26:47Speaker 3: I turned to some higher power looking for an answer
- 26:51Speaker 3: of where I'm at. Made them Christian naturally, it was
- 26:54Speaker 3: almost if they weren't Christian, it wouldn't make sense.
- 26:57Speaker 5: How does this whole thing connect to the toy?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Right? Because that's my question because I remember, like when
- 27:02Speaker 2: I was a kid, Like the song says more fun
- 27:04Speaker 2: than a pillow fight? Right, Like, that's like.
- 27:07Speaker 3: The movie I Will. I'm not trying to bury that
- 27:10Speaker 3: lead here, but the movie is more fun than a
- 27:13Speaker 3: pillow fight?
- 27:14Speaker 2: Can you quantitatively tell me how? Yeah?
- 27:17Speaker 5: Can you really? Because all I get is that this sucks.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Well, the movie is full of laughs and giggles and falls.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Jordal's cameos hard drama.
- 27:31Speaker 3: It's tons of cameos. Jaw Rule makes an appearance.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Jo Rules and did you guys did you guys get
- 27:37Speaker 7: those cameos from the app cameo?
- 27:39Speaker 8: Yes?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Yes, yes, we shot it all on cameo. It was
- 27:43Speaker 1: during COVID, so we sent in request to Meredith Vieira
- 27:48Speaker 1: Lizzo we got We got Billy Crystal. He was expensive.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Billy Cristal was great in this scene. It's one of
- 27:56Speaker 3: the most funny scenes and powerful scenes. One of the
- 28:00Speaker 3: boys is right like one punch away from punching the
- 28:04Speaker 3: other boy off of the off of the roof, because
- 28:06Speaker 3: that's kind of what happens. They kind of win each
- 28:09Speaker 3: other over. They're never going to punch each other over
- 28:11Speaker 3: the other person's side of the roof.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Now, now that you're saying it, I do remember reading
- 28:15Speaker 4: on Deadline an article it was about can cameo be
- 28:20Speaker 4: a casting director?
- 28:22Speaker 5: And they're like, can the middle name?
- 28:24Speaker 3: Because in this scene, one of the boys is about
- 28:27Speaker 3: to punch off one of the other boys and he
- 28:29Speaker 3: gets a and it's a cameo from Billy Crystal saying, Hi,
- 28:32Speaker 3: I'm Billy Crystal. I was told by your friend to say,
- 28:36Speaker 3: don't punch me off the roof. And it's very funny
- 28:39Speaker 3: and it's very hahaha, very good.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yes there are.
- 28:48Speaker 7: Oh the laugh made me really think you've laughed before.
- 28:51Speaker 6: And now my question is, are you guys blocked by
- 28:55Speaker 6: Jeffrey tambore on cameo or.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Or is it just I actually haven't checked Jeffrey Tambor
- 29:03Speaker 2: on my Can you.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Know what I have also not checked if Jeffrey Tambour.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Not checked, but we can check. I didn't know that
- 29:11Speaker 1: was possible to be blocked on cameo? Are you blocked
- 29:14Speaker 1: by anyone else? Or is Jeffrey simply.
- 29:18Speaker 6: I guess we wouldn't know who we'd be blocked by.
- 29:21Speaker 6: But I will say I've been trying to reach out
- 29:23Speaker 6: to all of the real housewives of Potomacs some time
- 29:26Speaker 6: now and have not had any luck.
- 29:29Speaker 1: For unrelated reasons or for the movie unrelated.
- 29:33Speaker 7: Let me tell you.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And I just want to clarify too. So it's a
- 29:35Speaker 2: one shot, so the cameos use the camera zooms into
- 29:39Speaker 2: a phone.
- 29:41Speaker 3: It's it's not well, yes and no, it doesn't go
- 29:44Speaker 3: more than a wide shot, so.
- 29:46Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yes and no, So it's very distant. So we do
- 29:51Speaker 1: we do what's called a practical zoom, in which the
- 29:54Speaker 1: actor physically shows the closer to the camera's lens and
- 29:59Speaker 1: then sit back.
- 30:01Speaker 3: And that's what we call a practical zoom in the industry.
- 30:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 30:04Speaker 2: And then this is a question I have. Yeah, I
- 30:07Speaker 2: mean the other question is you know we're currently when
- 30:10Speaker 2: we're talking at a bit of a gray area for
- 30:13Speaker 2: like Lizzo, and I know you mentioned she's in this.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Depending on how the allegations come through in the lawsuit.
- 30:21Speaker 2: She literally has like, look, how do you cut around
- 30:23Speaker 2: if you did a one shot?
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's going to be very, very difficult. And we are
- 30:28Speaker 1: a hard split on this.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Of course, we're hard split on this. I want to
- 30:34Speaker 3: green screen her cameo into another person's cameo, maybe a
- 30:38Speaker 3: dog or something.
- 30:39Speaker 1: And I believe that any interpolation of the form is
- 30:43Speaker 1: a violation of the one shot and I will have
- 30:46Speaker 1: to commit suicide.
- 30:49Speaker 8: Oh my gosh.
- 30:51Speaker 3: So those are the steaks I wake up with.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Every morning, dal your fucking life, dude.
- 30:59Speaker 4: And then and if sometimes you guys run into each
- 31:01Speaker 4: other outside, you sometimes kiss.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Yes, well, yes, it's the polite thing to do.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yes, out of pure pure politeness, we do share a kiss.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Oh do share a kiss? You know, so the neighbors
- 31:16Speaker 3: think we're all right.
- 31:16Speaker 7: Do you guys ever get.
- 31:17Speaker 6: So excited that you just rough house a little bit
- 31:20Speaker 6: in a yeah, install and yeah, up with a spring neck.
- 31:24Speaker 5: You guys fucked?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Oh so that's what you are doing?
- 31:29Speaker 7: No?
- 31:30Speaker 6: No, no, I ask you, do.
- 31:35Speaker 7: You rough house?
- 31:37Speaker 3: We've from time to time something happens, I'll say every
- 31:41Speaker 3: six to twelve months, something does happen between us where
- 31:45Speaker 3: the cardinal rage for each other turns into carnal passion
- 31:50Speaker 3: and we tear down a house.
- 31:51Speaker 1: And we are trying to produce a child. Uh, so
- 31:55Speaker 1: that this marriage stays intact.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Is it a branded child? They're just a regular child?
- 32:02Speaker 2: Oh what's the difference?
- 32:03Speaker 3: Well, we are divided, split down. Yeah, what is the
- 32:06Speaker 3: difference of that? I'm you produced a.
- 32:08Speaker 8: Child is like a movie?
- 32:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 32:10Speaker 8: I always say this, And if.
- 32:13Speaker 6: You produce a movie, there's unbranded movies that they don't
- 32:17Speaker 6: that don't make any companies any money, like the Shindler List.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Every child should provide some money to the home.
- 32:24Speaker 6: And then there's movies like the Shamwan movie that that
- 32:27Speaker 6: really that can make your company money.
- 32:30Speaker 7: So that must be the same with a child. My
- 32:34Speaker 7: brother went to Harvard.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I wouldn't.
- 32:37Speaker 6: I drove by and I went in and I stood
- 32:40Speaker 6: in the library and I watched some of the people.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Can I ask you, guys question, there seems like there's
- 32:47Speaker 3: tons of Caprice sons just all around you. Guys, what
- 32:49Speaker 3: is what's with the Caprice sons.
- 32:52Speaker 6: I don't want you to assume that they are filled
- 32:55Speaker 6: with Caprice son, but yes, they do have some Caprice
- 32:59Speaker 6: son in them. I am going through a specific type
- 33:03Speaker 6: of withdrawals for something that's a little personal, and it's
- 33:07Speaker 6: okay to put a little bit of Capri sun in
- 33:11Speaker 6: another thing.
- 33:12Speaker 5: And can I ask? Can I ask? What happened to
- 33:15Speaker 5: your neck?
- 33:16Speaker 6: I don't want to talk about what happened in the bathroom.
- 33:19Speaker 6: But sometimes when two gentlemen get a little excited or
- 33:23Speaker 6: passionate about a new idea, a creative endeavor, they can
- 33:26Speaker 6: rough house. And that's just boys will be bored.
- 33:29Speaker 7: Sometimes rough housing isn't bad.
- 33:32Speaker 1: How old are you again?
- 33:34Speaker 7: Remind me sixty nine? Sixty nine?
- 33:37Speaker 6: Couple months difference between the two of us because we
- 33:40Speaker 6: are Irish.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Twins, so are we we're hanging out in the one
- 33:45Speaker 2: month that you guys are the same age.
- 33:47Speaker 6: It's really convenient looking Thanks guys.
- 33:51Speaker 3: That's awesome, dude, Well how about you guys.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Let's get into it, hass let's do it. Tell her
- 34:03Speaker 2: about that movie. Look, I'm super Are you about.
- 34:05Speaker 3: To enter the autos all get in the zone.
- 34:14Speaker 7: To perform on the soundtrack?
- 34:16Speaker 3: Well I was gonna ask that, but it felt like
- 34:19Speaker 3: none of the actual soundtrack was hit there. Besides getting
- 34:22Speaker 3: the zone. That's the only thing I recognize from.
- 34:24Speaker 4: Well, well, all, I'll say that's that's honestly for Scooby
- 34:27Speaker 4: and I. Those sounds and that sound is how we
- 34:29Speaker 4: kind of got the executive.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's how we started because we built
- 34:33Speaker 2: a little language in car noises that we used to
- 34:36Speaker 2: talk back and forth, so like like, for example, how
- 34:40Speaker 2: are you as?
- 34:42Speaker 5: Yeah? And uh Wunnesota? Is?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Is this like morse code? Do you have certain dots
- 34:51Speaker 1: and dashes that I can't hear?
- 34:53Speaker 2: No, it's not. It's not to be written. It's not
- 34:55Speaker 2: to be written.
- 34:56Speaker 5: It's not to.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Be written, and only spoken language not to be.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Written, and not to be taught frankly customers.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Yeah, like when we want to talk shit, like like
- 35:07Speaker 2: like like if we were to talk about like if
- 35:09Speaker 2: you two, like if you two like middle aged island
- 35:12Speaker 2: boys came in and we started like looking back and
- 35:14Speaker 2: forth at each other, like what would we say about them? Dude?
- 35:17Speaker 2: Like I was like, yeah, what'd you do?
- 35:20Speaker 5: I'd go, babe, babe.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Ye boom boom boo. You know what I'm saying?
- 35:30Speaker 5: Du Yeah exactly.
- 35:32Speaker 4: So that's kind of that's kind of what we don't
- 35:35Speaker 4: cut to your movie?
- 35:36Speaker 3: Why don't we just cut to let's fast forward this
- 35:38Speaker 3: a little bit and get to the movie.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Okay, So the movie is about the zone of AutoZone
- 35:44Speaker 2: as if it was like imagine if it was a
- 35:46Speaker 2: real land.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so basically what we like to say, it's Zootopia
- 35:51Speaker 4: meets cars Too meets car wash meets Marriage Story meets
- 35:56Speaker 4: Goodfellasts meets Moondogs meets.
- 36:02Speaker 2: It meets Missus Doutfire meets what We Do in the
- 36:06Speaker 2: Shadows meets boyhood. Because we're shooting it over twelve years.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Oh wow, Yeah, one car aging over twelve.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Years exactly, So like what happens when the cars are
- 36:18Speaker 2: so the year so cars cars aged differently, so so
- 36:22Speaker 2: we'll start at year zero and so we start at
- 36:24Speaker 2: year zero in the car. So an age for a
- 36:26Speaker 2: car is actually twenty human years every year, and so
- 36:29Speaker 2: it follows its life. We shoot it over twelve years,
- 36:32Speaker 2: but for the car that's twenty times twelve, So figure
- 36:36Speaker 2: that out for yourself. And then like you see the
- 36:38Speaker 2: car rust and like what happens to inc AutoZone is
- 36:41Speaker 2: a land where if you go there, you're none of
- 36:44Speaker 2: the problems that exist in the real world are happening.
- 36:46Speaker 2: So like it's like you're you're good. There's no rust,
- 36:50Speaker 2: there's no mileage, there's no like running out of gas.
- 36:54Speaker 2: And so like this car leaves and gets like really
- 36:56Speaker 2: aged and like fucked up, like to shit up.
- 37:00Speaker 5: It gets fucked up in the butt.
- 37:02Speaker 7: It gets fucked up, cargets, the car gets fucked the.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Car gets us does have sex with a real human
- 37:09Speaker 2: woman and it's actually beautiful because.
- 37:12Speaker 3: That's what.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Because that's what's crazy about AutoZone is that cars can
- 37:17Speaker 4: fuck humans only specifically hot women.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Right, Can I ask if she is she's sitting on
- 37:23Speaker 1: the hood, is it rumbles or what's going on?
- 37:25Speaker 7: Now?
- 37:25Speaker 2: She's under the car. The car is on top of her.
- 37:29Speaker 4: So yeah, that's how sex works in AutoZone is that
- 37:32Speaker 4: the cars are on top of the women.
- 37:34Speaker 1: So that'sistrative.
- 37:35Speaker 2: And the thing we had to do to make sure
- 37:36Speaker 2: all of this makes sense is that we had to
- 37:38Speaker 2: create a world, like an Earth gravity that was uh
- 37:42Speaker 2: less heavy than current Earth gravity. So so when they
- 37:45Speaker 2: go to the real world, the Earth gravity is different,
- 37:48Speaker 2: so things just float a little bit more and things
- 37:50Speaker 2: are a little less heavy.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Yeah, so we had to create we had to create
- 37:53Speaker 5: a different type of gravity. When we go to the
- 37:54Speaker 5: AutoZone exactly.
- 37:56Speaker 6: Do you shoot the car sex with the woman practically
- 38:00Speaker 6: and do the wheels go over the woman?
- 38:02Speaker 2: The wheels go fully over the woman. And I did
- 38:04Speaker 2: want to mention that the woman is Barbi Ferira from
- 38:06Speaker 2: Euphoria and.
- 38:07Speaker 4: She's yeah, and do you Honestly, she's really lovely to
- 38:11Speaker 4: work with and it was really awesome to be on
- 38:13Speaker 4: set that day.
- 38:14Speaker 6: Do you let people just show up and join if
- 38:18Speaker 6: they just want to hang out during that scene?
- 38:22Speaker 2: We actually shot it already, so it's already over. But
- 38:24Speaker 2: we are shooting well no where we are I mean
- 38:27Speaker 2: the cars getting older, so we are going to be
- 38:29Speaker 2: shooting it every year.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Scene every shoots of that scene we meet Scottsdale brothers.
- 38:35Speaker 1: It seems like you too want to fuck a car?
- 38:37Speaker 1: Is that? Am I reading that?
- 38:39Speaker 7: Right in the bathroom?
- 38:44Speaker 1: You can't be fitting a car in there. You can't
- 38:47Speaker 1: be you little rascals, That's impossible.
- 38:50Speaker 7: The cars of all sides.
- 38:51Speaker 6: You know, we are some pretty strong nepo babies and
- 38:55Speaker 6: we can kind of do anything we set our hearts
- 38:58Speaker 6: to as long as our father does.
- 39:00Speaker 5: We You know what that came out of nowhere? But
- 39:02Speaker 5: it makes absolute.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Sense, absolutely like just to like reiterate our movie though,
- 39:07Speaker 2: like it definitely feels like it definitely feels like these
- 39:10Speaker 2: are types of bits that we never thought would be
- 39:12Speaker 2: movies for the record, like like hester like we were
- 39:15Speaker 2: just fucking around, Like we used to be like what
- 39:17Speaker 2: would you do the person or the car? That was
- 39:19Speaker 2: a game we used to play when people would come in,
- 39:21Speaker 2: like would you rather have sex with a person trying
- 39:23Speaker 2: to buy a fluid for their engine or would you
- 39:27Speaker 2: rather have sex with the car they drove in?
- 39:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I think what's amazing is that we didn't have
- 39:31Speaker 4: all this screenwriting class junk and that we actually get
- 39:34Speaker 4: to can't come in and we got to like make
- 39:37Speaker 4: a movie that like meant like we didn't like we
- 39:40Speaker 4: weren't brainwashed by like what a structure is of a story.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Right, I mean, of course we were influenced by Louis
- 39:46Speaker 2: Boon Wells and she and Andelou Like we've all seen that,
- 39:50Speaker 2: we all know that movie.
- 39:51Speaker 5: We've all seen. Yeah, of course we're influenced by it.
- 39:53Speaker 4: But like we got to be like the rules of
- 39:56Speaker 4: the world or that there are no rules of the world,
- 39:58Speaker 4: and that AutoZone as a zone and that it is
- 40:02Speaker 4: different than all types of places.
- 40:04Speaker 3: In the car.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and the car's voiced and physically acted by ace
- 40:08Speaker 2: of Butterworth.
- 40:09Speaker 5: Yeah, and we want to like and we are so
- 40:11Speaker 5: thankful for that.
- 40:12Speaker 4: And this movie is also for car lovers, because what's
- 40:16Speaker 4: amazing about it is this the car ages in real time,
- 40:20Speaker 4: so like car lovers can see it age and it's
- 40:22Speaker 4: like and it's absolutely the most expensive film to ever
- 40:26Speaker 4: have been made, but it's but it's like really awesome.
- 40:30Speaker 2: So we've done some early test screenings exclusively with people
- 40:33Speaker 2: that hang out at classic car shows outside of fifties restaurants,
- 40:36Speaker 2: and it is it is charting through the freaking roof,
- 40:40Speaker 2: dog like.
- 40:41Speaker 3: So you guys have already shot it. You've been spending
- 40:42Speaker 3: the last twelve years shooting this.
- 40:45Speaker 2: We shot a lot of it, and then we have
- 40:46Speaker 2: a few more years of shooting.
- 40:48Speaker 4: It with a few more years, and then we're hoping
- 40:51Speaker 4: that in the next few years we'll see our names
- 40:53Speaker 4: in the credits.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Right, And by testing well, By testing well, I mean
- 40:57Speaker 2: we show the footage we have and then we tell
- 40:58Speaker 2: them the rest of the movie. And then and these
- 41:00Speaker 2: dads are so excited.
- 41:03Speaker 8: On the of the camera.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and we have to tell.
- 41:07Speaker 7: These dads edited in camera.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's editing in camera. And we actually have to
- 41:12Speaker 2: tell the dads to sit on their hands because they
- 41:14Speaker 2: want to ask so many questions.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we think they want to ask it with their hands.
- 41:19Speaker 5: Yes, they want what they write. They have so many questions.
- 41:23Speaker 4: They put it on their fingers and they and we go,
- 41:25Speaker 4: please it in your hands.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 41:27Speaker 1: How do they know to do that? How did all
- 41:29Speaker 1: of the car yas decide to write individual questions on
- 41:33Speaker 1: each of their fingers because they're so excited? How a.
- 41:39Speaker 5: Lady who's always mad? It's just a thing, It's just
- 41:42Speaker 5: a thing.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Absolutely always mad. I'm not always mad? Okay, I did
- 41:47Speaker 1: have another question for you. The Barbie movie is about
- 41:50Speaker 1: and apparently the Shadwow movie is about societal issues like
- 41:54Speaker 1: the patriarchy and stuff like that. Is there an overall
- 41:57Speaker 1: lesson in Autoso?
- 42:02Speaker 2: What do you think like being rude is gay? Probably?
- 42:06Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 42:07Speaker 1: I would gay?
- 42:08Speaker 7: Did you saying rude is gay? Yeah?
- 42:11Speaker 4: It's gay to be yeah, I say it's it's really
- 42:14Speaker 4: gay to be rude, And I'd say that being gay is.
- 42:21Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Is that all gay?
- 42:22Speaker 3: Good?
- 42:25Speaker 7: Is this positive or derogatory?
- 42:27Speaker 2: It's good?
- 42:28Speaker 1: Good?
- 42:29Speaker 7: You guys, aren't media trained, Like we've not come.
- 42:31Speaker 2: We're on the sub.
- 42:34Speaker 6: The last twenty four hours really trying to figure this out.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Who media trained you mean?
- 42:41Speaker 4: Yeah, oh you talk about being media trained, because you
- 42:43Speaker 4: guys seem like you were media trained really hard.
- 42:46Speaker 6: We were by the ghost of Lyndon B. Johnson for
- 42:50Speaker 6: twenty four hours.
- 42:51Speaker 8: Yeah, we were. You had a whole haunted house debacle.
- 42:54Speaker 6: We took some some drugs, some substances, some caprice Son
- 43:00Speaker 6: that connect you to other realms and yourself. And we
- 43:04Speaker 6: asked the ghosts in the room, who knows how to
- 43:07Speaker 6: media train? And we were shown to watch mojo Top
- 43:10Speaker 6: ten media training videos.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Are to be Johnson Mojo video. He showed up in our.
- 43:17Speaker 7: Place and said, guys, I have nothing to say, just
- 43:19Speaker 7: watch watch this.
- 43:20Speaker 8: And it was a gorgeous and it.
- 43:22Speaker 7: Was top Mojo's top ten things.
- 43:24Speaker 6: Lots of tay, lots of time in trouble, lots of
- 43:28Speaker 6: Tom Cruise in that video.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Wow.
- 43:31Speaker 1: I just have to say, this is the busiest twenty
- 43:33Speaker 1: four hours I've ever heard of someone having. I really
- 43:37Speaker 1: applaud you.
- 43:37Speaker 3: You guys wrote a full script, got Jeffrey Tambour's voice
- 43:41Speaker 3: to voice.
- 43:42Speaker 5: You got me trained by a ghost.
- 43:44Speaker 7: We've did a seance, We've we've been doing a lot
- 43:48Speaker 7: of running on all fours. We've been having a really
- 43:51Speaker 7: fun chasing each other around there.
- 43:53Speaker 5: Okay, so that's what you did in the bathroom.
- 43:55Speaker 6: That's what happened in a public restroom between me and
- 44:00Speaker 6: my brother.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Did you guys see the Barber movie last night too?
- 44:03Speaker 2: Is that what started all this?
- 44:05Speaker 6: We saw thirty minutes of the Bobby and we got
- 44:09Speaker 6: it from what we saw.
- 44:10Speaker 7: We saw like the beginning where it was.
- 44:11Speaker 6: Pink and we left to go to the bathroom and
- 44:14Speaker 6: do things we can talk about.
- 44:17Speaker 7: And they were pink and they were girls and they
- 44:19Speaker 7: were again get it. It was good. We do it.
- 44:22Speaker 7: We can do it now.
- 44:23Speaker 6: We don't need training. We don't write, and we don't
- 44:26Speaker 6: need women. I mean we we love we love women.
- 44:31Speaker 1: There's the media training right there. There's the media training.
- 44:34Speaker 1: So what's on the docket for tomorrow?
- 44:37Speaker 3: Oh gosh, you guys go into production tonight.
- 44:42Speaker 7: Right we're shooting night to day.
- 44:45Speaker 8: So we're shooting at night for this, trying to make him.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Visit years to do a night per day.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Huh.
- 44:52Speaker 6: It's very dark, but it will be two PM for
- 44:55Speaker 6: the entirety of the floodlights.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, why would you don for day? Is my question.
- 45:01Speaker 6: I guess we're doing night for day and posts brother
- 45:04Speaker 6: and I get all about the presunt energy at night, and.
- 45:07Speaker 7: We're really ready. We're really ready to put that energy
- 45:11Speaker 7: into action and do some things in the bathroom that
- 45:13Speaker 7: we will not speak of later. We can't contact ghosts
- 45:16Speaker 7: in the day.
- 45:17Speaker 6: We don't know when we're gonna need advice of what
- 45:21Speaker 6: watch Mojo video to pull up next.
- 45:23Speaker 7: So it's gonna be a good time. And you're all
- 45:25Speaker 7: invited to come watch.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Wow general, I think I would actually like to come
- 45:31Speaker 1: and see your process.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I honestly am very interested in this problem.
- 45:34Speaker 6: And Anne and Dale, if you guys are okay with
- 45:36Speaker 6: being in the same room, we would love to have you. Yeah,
- 45:40Speaker 6: and if you like anyone that day, you can just
- 45:42Speaker 6: come by yourself.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Oh well, well, well, you guys, we'd have to schedule
- 45:51Speaker 1: a round. We'd have to schedule bathroom breaks. I'd say, uh,
- 45:55Speaker 1: and we'd have.
- 45:56Speaker 3: To schedule a couple of things for that to work.
- 46:00Speaker 8: What was your guys' wedding?
- 46:01Speaker 3: Like? It was a blast? It was ha ha all
- 46:04Speaker 3: the it was it.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Was so much fun?
- 46:08Speaker 5: Was it?
- 46:09Speaker 3: It was so much fun.
- 46:11Speaker 1: There was a flash mob that performed Ave Maria.
- 46:16Speaker 2: What the flash the flash mob saying it?
- 46:21Speaker 3: Or dance to it the tempo they performed it. Thank
- 46:26Speaker 3: you very much. Maybe listen to her, maybe look at her.
- 46:31Speaker 5: Guys, I love to thank you filmmakers so much.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Maybe I'm a first time filmmaker, but I just want
- 46:35Speaker 4: to say, it's been so nice to be around to everybody.
- 46:37Speaker 5: I want to know how do I follow everybody?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Like?
- 46:40Speaker 4: What what is everyone working on next? If your movie
- 46:43Speaker 4: takes off or maybe it.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Doesn't, Well, we are working currently. We have a long
- 46:49Speaker 3: standing uh YouTube channel of our relationship of our travel escapade.
- 46:54Speaker 1: You do, yes, yes, yes we are. We set it
- 46:59Speaker 1: to the type of vlog music that sounds like a
- 47:02Speaker 1: computer wrote it. It is different shots of us enjoying
- 47:07Speaker 1: our day separately.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Who has control the edit? Who has controlled the edit
- 47:14Speaker 2: on that one?
- 47:15Speaker 1: We fight a lot about the So we each edit
- 47:18Speaker 1: ourselves and then it's it's hell and.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Then we have one we have one past to Hell
- 47:23Speaker 3: to combine them. Yeah, so we each edit ourselves and
- 47:27Speaker 3: we have one pass to edit each other, and then
- 47:31Speaker 3: we fight about who puts it all together.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Well, And sometimes Dale will screw with the saturation on
- 47:37Speaker 1: my just to make me look a little lighter, to
- 47:40Speaker 1: make me look a little less there, to make me
- 47:43Speaker 1: look like a little casper of sorts. That's we're talking about.
- 47:49Speaker 3: It's true. I do all. I fuck with the opacity
- 47:52Speaker 3: and I put a white uh, a white layer behind her,
- 47:57Speaker 3: and it just makes her look kind of sick and
- 48:00Speaker 3: kind of not there fully.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes he's screwing with the white balance, and I
- 48:04Speaker 1: can tell he doesn't. That's higher to drive me Insand.
- 48:12Speaker 3: She's messing with my video transitions, trying to cross fade
- 48:15Speaker 3: me out so much earlier until when I'm done talking.
- 48:19Speaker 3: I'm I've still got thirty more seconds of talking, and
- 48:21Speaker 3: she's cross fading me out to her stuff.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Well, maybe I wouldn't have to drag the crossfade effect
- 48:26Speaker 1: all the way over to the start of the clip.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Here we go to me, I'm gonna punch you off
- 48:31Speaker 3: of a building. I'm going to punch you off of
- 48:33Speaker 3: a building.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Get my fucking soccer boppers. I'm ready to go.
- 48:41Speaker 8: We're seeing a sequel here.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Oh god, I didn't think we had enough material for
- 48:48Speaker 1: a sequel, but I think we have enough. It's gonna happen.
- 48:53Speaker 3: Would you like to come over tonight for dinner?
- 48:56Speaker 2: Oh ship, I think they're about to rot.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Dog, you're about to Scooby, sit at the table with
- 49:07Speaker 1: you for dinner.
- 49:08Speaker 6: We've got an endless supply of sham wows. If you
- 49:11Speaker 6: guys need to clean anything up.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Sorry, we were having too much fun there for a second.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Was too much fun.
- 49:18Speaker 5: I think she's gonna lick his carburetor.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, I think she's gonna freaking clean out his musk. Dude.
- 49:24Speaker 8: Yeah, nobody get a neck brace in the process.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Which parts of the body are those.
- 49:32Speaker 5: Neck never mind?
- 49:42Speaker 1: Never mind?
- 49:43Speaker 4: Scooby and I have a really exciting uh we are
- 49:47Speaker 4: this is I mean, it's really exciting. One day hopefully
- 49:50Speaker 4: we're gonna get a credit on our movie.
- 49:52Speaker 7: But we.
- 49:54Speaker 5: We both are.
- 49:56Speaker 1: And you have to get a lawyer. You simply know.
- 49:59Speaker 2: I never will.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I know. Lawyers don't believe in love.
- 50:01Speaker 5: Lawyers don't believe in love. They don't be friendship.
- 50:04Speaker 2: I have this old joke. Have you ever heard this joke?
- 50:07Speaker 2: What's the difference between a lawyer and a big old
- 50:09Speaker 2: pilot ship? What the pilot shit doesn't charge you one
