Speaker 1: tell you about the live shows that we have coming up.
• 0:13
Speaker 2: It's a thrilling, thrilling, thrilling thing. Here's the thing. We
• 0:18
Speaker 2: are going on tour, and it's not just any tour.
• 0:21
Speaker 2: It's the Shrektannic US Tour. We have three upcoming live
• 0:26
Speaker 2: shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland, Oregon. And
• 0:31
Speaker 2: if you're in a city that's not those cities and
• 0:33
Speaker 2: you're like, what the fuck, why don't they ever come
• 0:35
Speaker 2: to see me? Well, guess what. We're live streaming two
• 0:39
Speaker 2: of these motherfuckers. Details ahead, Yes, oh, Caitlyn so Los Angeles.
• 0:45
Speaker 1: The show is January nineteenth at Dynasty Typewriter. It's a
• 0:49
Speaker 1: little four pm matinee. This is one of the live
• 0:52
Speaker 1: stream shows. However, this is not necessarily part of the
• 0:55
Speaker 1: Shrektannic Tour because this is more of a Bechdel Cast celebrate.
• 1:00
Speaker 1: We're going to be having some of your favorite past
• 1:03
Speaker 1: guests who have been on the show over the years.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: They will be doing a stand up set or some
• 1:09
Speaker 1: solo little bit. Yeah, we're gonna be doing stand up.
• 1:13
Speaker 2: Jamie and myself and We're gonna just like celebrate our
• 1:16
Speaker 2: favorite parts of this show. We've never because our five
• 1:18
Speaker 2: year anniversary was during lockdown. We had plans.
• 1:22
Speaker 1: To do this like big, like look at us.
• 1:24
Speaker 2: We've been around for half a decade show and it's
• 1:27
Speaker 2: been three years since then, and so.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: We been eighty four years.
• 1:30
Speaker 2: It's been eighty four years. We've never done a show
• 1:33
Speaker 2: to not just celebrate the show, but also our fans
• 1:37
Speaker 2: and our favorite guests that live in the LA area.
• 1:40
Speaker 2: So it'll be super fun. Highly recommend checking that out.
• 1:44
Speaker 2: It'll just be a variety show extravaganza. And also my
• 1:48
Speaker 2: mom will be there gasp. Yeah, Jill will be there.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: And the last time she came to a Bechdel cast show,
• 1:54
Speaker 2: she hit on the guest, so.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: Oh my god, relentlessly flirted with our.
• 1:58
Speaker 2: Guest and he was into it and he DMed her afterwards.
• 2:02
Speaker 2: So anything could really happen Jill. When Jill's loose at
• 2:07
Speaker 2: the show, anything could happen. Maybe Jill will do a set. Honestly,
• 2:11
  Speaker 2: WHOA Anything's possible.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: Anything can't wait. And the only way that you'll find
• 2:16
Speaker 1: out what's happening is if you buy a ticket to
• 2:19
Speaker 1: the LA show or buy a live stream ticket. Again,
• 2:22
Speaker 1: this is one of the shows we're live streaming, so
• 2:24
Speaker 1: and again, if you cannot watch the show as it
• 2:27
Speaker 1: is being live streamed, you can still buy a ticket
• 2:29
Speaker 1: and you'll have access to a link that's live for
• 2:33
Speaker 1: like the week afterwards to be able to watch the stream,
• 2:36
Speaker 1: so you can still catch it within a week of
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: the show happening.
• 2:40
Speaker 2: Many options. I do think that this show, my prediction
• 2:44
Speaker 2: is that it will go down in history as Jill
• 2:47
Speaker 2: loftisk goes Hollywood. Yeah, and then our shows in San
• 2:51
Speaker 2: Francisco and Portland are a part of the shrctanic ouvra.
• 2:55
Speaker 2: So in San Francisco that is a part of San
• 2:58
Speaker 2: Francisco's sketch Fest. We go every year. We love sketch Fest.
• 3:02
Speaker 2: That is going to be a Titanic show. That is
• 3:04
Speaker 2: the only show on this tour that will not be
• 3:06
  Speaker 2: live streamed.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: Correct, and that is January twenty third at Club Fugazi
• 3:12
Speaker 1: Fugazzi so beautiful space. So if you want to see
• 3:15
Speaker 1: the Titanic leg of the Shrek Tannic Tour, you gotta
• 3:19
Speaker 1: be there in person in San Francisco.
• 3:21
Speaker 2: But if you're a Shrek head, you're in luck.
• 3:24
Speaker 1: Because the Portland show on January twenty sixth at one
• 3:28
Speaker 1: of our favorite theaters, Curious Comedy Theater, is the Shrek
• 3:32
Speaker 1: leg of the Shrek Tannic Tour, and it's being live streamed,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: so if you don't live in Portland, you can still
• 3:39
Speaker 1: catch the live stream. Same deal as the La show,
• 3:42
Speaker 1: where even if you're not able to watch it as
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: it's being live streamed, you'll buy a ticket. You'll have
• 3:47
Speaker 1: access to the stream for about a week afterward.
• 3:51
Speaker 2: And if you know about any of our buddies that
• 3:53
Speaker 2: live in Portland, you know that there might be some.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: Surprise Shreks at the show. Wow. Yeah, we can't wait
• 4:00
Speaker 1: to be back on tour.
• 4:01
Speaker 2: I highly recommend I mean the live stream setups at
• 4:04
Speaker 2: both Dynasty Typewriter and Curious Comedy. You'll feel like you're there.
• 4:08
Speaker 2: The last time we went to Curious Comedy and live
• 4:10
Speaker 2: stream to show, I accidentally threw a knife at the audience.
• 4:13
Speaker 2: So if you get a digital ticket, you will definitely survive.
• 4:18
Speaker 2: So there is that's the guarantee of the live stream ticket.
• 4:22
Speaker 2: I cannot accidentally kill you.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: This is so true, unless it's something like The Ring
• 4:28
Speaker 1: where we crawl out of your computers.
• 4:30
Speaker 2: Okay, yes, actually don't get tickets because once you finish there,
• 4:33
Speaker 2: you only have seven days.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Seven days. Wow, that's what we mean when you have
• 4:38
Speaker 1: a week to watch the show. Just kidding. You'll be
• 4:41
Speaker 1: so safe, and you can get the tickets at our
• 4:44
Speaker 1: link Tree Link Tree slash Bechtel Cast. We would absolutely
• 4:49
Speaker 1: love to see you there, especially live in person at
• 4:51
Speaker 1: these shows and also the live streams, so please please
• 4:56
Speaker 1: please come and see us. Please please please please.
• 5:00
Speaker 2: Come to the show. Wow, that's all I have to say.
