  Speaker 2: I think so. Yeah. I thought it was normal. Here

  Speaker 2: we go with one of those studies. Researchers find that

  Speaker 2: pet owners do, the majority of us do talk to

  Speaker 2: our cats and they say it's okay in our dogs,

  Speaker 2: that it's perfectly normal to talk to your pet. But

  Speaker 2: they said, a lot of us go beyond like, you're

  Speaker 2: a good boy. They found a lot of us use

  Speaker 2: nicknames for our pets. We ask them questions, we give

  Speaker 2: them praise, and we even share personal thoughts with them.

  Speaker 2: And they say these interactions may help explain why pets

  Speaker 2: seem to improve some people's well-being more than others. So

  Speaker 2: the key, they said, is not simply to have a pet,

  Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, Archie. But he also knows too. He's like,

  Speaker 2: a little bit. Like he's a baby. Right. You know.

  Speaker 3: And pets listen better than husbands, don't they?
